Today’s Required Reading: Tucker Carlson on Why Washington, DC is Now a Police State

I’ve warned you for six weeks or so now that the UniParty’s wall around the national Capitol Building and ongoing occupation of the District of Columbia by thousands of National Guard personnel is likely to become a permanent feature of life in the nation’s capital. The wall and army are not there for any real reason, but for purely political ones as the Democrats and their willing RINO accomplices continue to prop up their illegitimate regime by spreading false stories of “security threats” coming from some nebulous “Q Anon” insurgent force exists only in the minds political hacks and the hopelessly ignorant among us.

Tucker Carlson took on all of this nonsense during his opening monologue last night, in a way that only he can do. The transcript makes for an epic read.

Here are some excerpts to whet your appetite:

Liberals are a fearful group. The list of things American liberals are afraid of can fill an entire shelf of volumes. It would make an amusing reference set: The Encyclopedia of Liberal Neuroses Unabridged.

Absolutely everything upsets liberals, agitates them, and inflames their allergies. Nature itself is a terrifying experience for liberals because they can’t control it. It has all these sex differences and climate fluctuations. They’ll pass you on their bicycle, sporting their little paper obedience masks, struggling to breathe from oxygen deprivation, yet feeling virtuous and protected. And, of course, judging you for not wearing the uniform.

There’s nothing rational about that behavior, but you shouldn’t be surprised by it. Modern liberalism is not a coherent worldview, it’s a deeply unhappy, high-strung personality type. Wokeness is what you get when people are miserable inside.

When you’re a liberal, the world is a very scary place, but there is one fear that rises above all other fears in the liberal mind: The fear of “the other.” Like all primitive cultures, modern liberalism is tribal. Liberals understand most of the American continent as a mysterious dark space, like a medieval map populated by drooling Trump voters and violent illiterates with extra chromosomes.

Liberals despise people like this, of course, and on some level, they know they’re hated right back. They worry that someday there will be a backlash against the people in charge, which, of course, is them. That’s their biggest fear, a peasant revolt.

A lot of liberals were certain that March 4 was the day the right-wing revolution would finally begin. March 4, they believed, with something called “QAnon Inauguration Day.” What is QAnon Inauguration Day? We have no idea, and we don’t know anyone who does. We’d bet money that not one Trump voter in a million had heard of it until this week, when the hysteria merchants on the other channels started yapping about it on television.

They’d heard about it from Nancy Pelosi, who told her bodyguards to write up a report on the threat of QAnon Inauguration Day. So that’s what they did. We never really learned any details, but members of Congress were not taking chances. Many of them fled the Capitol Thursday. House leaders rescheduled votes so that the rank-and-file legislators could escape with their lives, if not with their dignity.

This was not simply partisan hysteria. Democrats and Republicans seemed united in their shared terror.

[End]

Go read the rest of it. It will be the best 10 minutes of time you invest all day long.

That is all.

Today’s Required Reading: Tucker Carlson Exposes Democrats’ False Capitol Riot Narrative

In his opening monologue last night, Fox News Host Tucker Carlson – the only show on Fox worth viewing anymore – completely exposed the false narrative the Democrats are pushing about the Capitol Riot of January 6 in their sham impeachment proceedings against Donald Trump.

It’s a fairly long read, as these Required Readings tend to be, but it’s something everyone should read if they wish to know the truth about what really happened on that day in Washington, DC. Because the truth has nothing to do with the false narrative the Democrats are peddling to you right now.

Here it is:

It’s funny how change happens. You thought the big change came on Election Day, when the incumbent president lost, but that turned out to be nothing compared to the change that came two months later.

On Jan. 6, supporters of Donald Trump swarmed the Capitol building. Some forced their way inside, and Washington has never been the same. It may never be the same. As a result of what happened on Jan. 6, your descendants will live in a very different country. Some in Congress have compared that day to 9/11. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., has likened it to Pearl Harbor, which spurred America’s entry into the Second World War.

Every day we hear new and more florid comparisons from Democratic partisans. But Tuesday night, CNN outdid all of them by comparing what happened Jan. 6 to the Rwandan genocide.

Keep in mind that close to a million people were murdered in Rwanda in 1994, about 70% of all ethnic Tutsis in the country. Entire towns were hacked to death with machetes. People were set on fire and crushed alive by bulldozers. Hundreds of thousands of women were raped. It was among the most horrifying crimes in human history.

How does a country recover from something like that? Well, first, obviously, you punish the guilty quickly and severely. Then, and this is more important, you set about reordering your society from top to bottom to make certain nothing like that ever happens again. So you purge the military, suspend basic civil liberties, send troops to the capital, tear down the old, destroy all vestiges of the past in order to save the future.

However, before we remake America to prevent future genocide at the Capitol, maybe we should know a little bit more about the crime that occurred on Jan. 6, if only to understand the justification for overturning our lives permanently. What exactly did happen that day? You may be surprised to learn how little we know, even now. In fact, it’s remarkable how many of the most basic questions remain unanswered more than a month after the fact.

Let’s start with the headline of the day: Five Americans died on the Capitol grounds on Jan. 6. You’ve heard that, but it doesn’t really tell you very much. It’s the details, as always, that matter. Who were these people and how did they die? That’s how you understand what actually happened.

So with that in mind, here are the facts: Four of the five who died that day were Trump supporters. The fifth was a Capitol Hill police officer who apparently also supported Donald Trump. Why is this relevant? Of course, the political views of the deceased shouldn’t matter, but unfortunately, in this case, they do. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and many other elected Democrats claim the mob was coming for them that day. Yet the only recorded casualties on Jan. 6 were people who voted for Donald Trump.

The first among them was a 34-year-old woman from Georgia called Rosanne Boyland. Authorities initially announced that Boyland died of a “medical emergency”. Later video footage suggested she may have accidentally been trampled by the crowd. We’re still not sure, but that’s the best guess.

The second casualty was 55-year-old Kevin Greeson, who died of heart failure while talking to his wife on a cell phone outside the Capitol. “Kevin had a history of high blood pressure,” his wife later said, “and in the midst of the excitement, suffered a heart attack.”

The third was 50-year-old Benjamin Phillips of Ringtown, Pa. Phillips was a Trump supporter who organized a bus trip to Washington for the rally that day. He died of a stroke on the grounds of the Capitol. There is no evidence that Phillips rioted or was injured by rioters or even went inside the Capitol building.

The fourth person to die, the only one from intentional violence, was 35-year-old Ashli Babbitt, a military veteran from San Diego. Babbitt was wearing a Trump cape when she was shot to death by a Capitol Hill police lieutenant. Babbitt’s death was caught on video, so hers is the best-documented death that took place that day. Yet it is surprising how little we know about it.

Babbitt was shot as she tried to crawl through a broken window into the Speaker’s Lobby within the Capitol, and that’s essentially the extent of what we know. Authorities have refused to release the name of the man who shot her or divulge any details of the investigation they say they’ve done. We may never know exactly why this unnamed Capitol Hill police officer took her life.

According to that officer’s attorney, “There is no way to look at the evidence and think that he is anything but a hero.” Of course, we can’t actually look at that evidence, because they’re withholding it. We can’t even know his identity. Killing an unarmed woman may be justified under certain specific circumstances, but since when is it heroic? When the dead woman has read QAnon websites? Republicans aren’t asking that question.

Rep. Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla., has said he immediately hugged the officer who shot Ashli Babbitt and told him, “Listen, you did what you had to do.” Did the officer really have to do that? We don’t know. We do know that Ashli Babbitt was not holding a weapon when she was killed. Nevertheless, at the impeachment trial this week, Rep. David Cicilline, D-R.I., described what happened at the Capitol as “an armed insurrection.”

Cicilline is a former mafia lawyer from Providence, so presumably he knows what it is to commit a felony with a firearm. There are no reports of rioters at the Capitol building Jan. 6 discharging weapons or threatening anyone with a gun. So what exactly is David Cicilline talking about?

Apparently, he’s referring to the death of Officer Brian Sicknick. In the hours after the riot, The New York Times reported that Trump supporters had brutally beaten Oficer Sicknick to death with a fire extinguisher. The news of Sicknick’s death by violence was quickly picked up by countless other media outlets that repeated and then amplified it.

That account forms the basis of the myth that Democrats have constructed around Jan. 6. Sicknick’s remains lay in honor at the Capitol building. Streams of politicians, who just months before had told us that cops were racist by definition, praised Brian Sicknick as a hero. They had finally found a police officer who served their political uses.

Just one problem: The story they told was a lie from beginning to end. Officer Sicknick was not beaten to death, with a fire extinguisher or anything else. According to an exhaustive and fascinating new analysis on Revolver News, there’s no evidence that Brian Sicknick was hit with a fire extinguisher at any point on Jan 6. The officer’s body apparently bore no signs of trauma. In fact, on the night of Jan. 6, long after rioters at the Capitol had been arrested or dispersed, Brian Sicknick texted his brother from his office. According to his brother, Sicknick said he’d been “pepper sprayed twice” but was otherwise “in good shape”. Twenty-four hours later, Officer Brian Sicknick was dead.

How did he die? The head of the Capitol police union has said he had a stroke. His body was cremated immediately, and authorities have refused to release his autopsy. No one has been charged in his death, and no charges are pending. Whatever happened to Brian Sicknick was tragic, obviously, but it was also very different from what they have told us. They have lied about how he died. They’ve lied about a lot.

How did this riot start, anyway? Was it a spontaneous event incited by a reckless president in a fit of vicious pique? Was the riot long-planned, the result of a conspiracy? Those are two theories of what happened and both cannon be true.

This weekend, former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund claimed in a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi that there was no intelligence suggesting that a riot might be imminent at the Capitol.

Apparently, the Washington Post has better sources than Sund. Days after Jan. 6, the newspaper reported that it was well-known that a group of Trump supporters was headed to the city to cause trouble. The FBI almost certainly knew this. They likely had paid informants in the ranks of protesters.

So if the authorities knew that violence might be coming to the Capitol, where was the necessary security? It wasn’t there.

We’re not sure what all this means and we’re not going to speculate. We do know for certain that the known facts of what happened on Jan. 6 deviate in very important ways from the story they are now telling us, including the story Democrats are telling in the impeachment trial. In many places, the known facts bear no resemblance to the story they’re telling. They’re just flat-out lying. There’s no question about that.

It’s Carnage Out There for Fox News

It’s carnage out there for Fox News. – Since the moment Fox News decided to issue a premature call of Arizona for China Joe Potato Head Biden on Election Night, the cable news channel has seen its ratings take a massive slide. As Daily Wire reports, “Between the dates of November 2nd and November 11th, viewership dropped by 40% for Neil Cavuto, 40% for Bret Baier — who hosted one of the presidential debates between Trump and Biden — 40% for Martha MacCallum, 36% for Laura Ingraham, 33% for Sean Hannity, and 29% for Tucker Carlson.”

Yes, Fox remains the #1-ranked cable news channel, but that’s only because CNN and MSNBC have voluntarily discarded most of their own audiences over the past decade in order to promote the political agenda of the radical left, i.e., the Democrat Party. And let’s face it: When your flagship hard evening news report hosted by Bret Baier bleeds 40% of its viewership in a little over a week, and your  biggest prime time star is down by almost 30%, you have a problem.

It’s a problem that has many of the remaining hands at Fox worried, according to former anchor of “The Five” Eric Bolling. Bolling told Daily Wire that his conversations with his friends at Fox convinces him that there is a great deal of fear haunting the fake news channel’s halls these days:

“Here’s what happened guys, let’s be honest with you… on November 3rd — Fox declared Biden the winner in Arizona. MAGA-world went ballistic, they said ‘I’m not watching Fox News,’ they switched over and they looked and they found Newsmax,” Bolling said.

Bolling then sparked rapturous applause among the TPUSA event attendees when he said that “Fox lost about 40% of their audience. 40%. That’s a big number.” In recent weeks, Fox has disputed such claims, pointing out that while some programs have dropped a third of their viewers since election night, they still still atop the cable news ratings.

“I have friends still there that say they are very, very nervous about it, they’re sucking wind on it and they don’t know how to turn it around.”

[End]

The truth about Fox is that they did it to themselves. I personally think the channel’s inevitable decline started with the decision to bring Paul Ryan onto its board of directors. The inevitable anti-Trump tilt he has brought to the operation is palpable, especially in Fox’s daytime programming. In the midst of its record ratings of the past five years, Fox’s management lost sight of what was driving those ratings.

The hiring of old Clinton hack Donna Brazile – who got caught feeding Hillary Clinton debate questions during the 2016 campaign – as a paid contributor in 2019 – a decision no doubt driven and approved by Ryan – only served to exacerbate the situation and ensure the channel’s inevitable decline. During 2020, Neil Cavuto and other daytime hosts embarked on a decidedly leftward tilt to the conduct of their shows, and the previously stellar “The Five” became increasingly unwatchable due to the radicalization of Juan Williams. Top that all off with Chris Wallace’s doing a tag team on President Trump with Joe Biden as he “moderated” the first presidential debate, and you have the makings of a mass audience exodus.

Trump supporters had been looking for the first excuse to jump ship over to OANN or Newsmax, and the absurdly premature call of Arizona on Election Night – a call made while some Arizonans still stood in lines waiting to vote – triggered the exodus. And now, Bolling’s friends at the network are all worried about their future and have no idea how to fix the problem.

Well, it’s a problem that can’t be fixed. That’s the deal: Fox News management intentionally and with malice aforethought made a series of programming decisions that were consciously designed to divorce the channel from the Trump support base. That is reality and it is obvious to anyone paying any attention at all.

That divorce is now final and there will be no reconciliation – this is not some Hallmark holiday movie with a happy ending.

That is all.

WATCH: China and America’s Elite – A Tucker Carlson Monologue Every American Should See

Yes, I know everyone hates Fox News now, but bear with me here. – Tucker Carlson delivered a revealing monologue on last night’s show about how the ChiComs are going about bribing and influencing America’s politicians, educators and other elements of the “elite” in our society. It is so on point that Twitter is trying and failing to block access to it this morning.

Take the time to either watch the clip below or read the transcript that follows. You will be glad you did.

Watch this clip:

Here’s the Transcript:

Since the day Donald Trump was elected in 2016, we have been told that Russia is at the very top of the list of threats to America. Russia has penetrated our government. Russia threatens our democracy. Russia works tirelessly to subvert our economy and our way of life.

Of course, such claims were a lie, and we’re all aware of that now. Russia never had the power or the money to control our government, and there’s no evidence they even tried. But that doesn’t mean that there was no collusion.

In fact, top leaders in American government and business have been compromised by a foreign power that seeks to undermine our country and our democratic system. It turns out that many of the very people who ranted so hysterically about Russia  were doing precisely what they claimed to decry. They were working on behalf of our chief global rival, the government of China.

The Russia hoax, effectively, was a diversion. It hid something that is not a hoax at all, but is real and threatening to all of us. We’re going to spend the foreseeable future reporting on the relationship between America’s political and financial elites and the communist government of China that has made many of them very rich.

On Nov. 28, Di Dongsheng, a professor at Renmin University in Beijing, appeared on a Chinese television show about Wall Street and international trade. Like so many in academia in China, Di is a servant of his country’s government. This video was deleted from Chinese social media soon after being uploaded, and here’s why:

DI DONSHENG (translation): The Trump administration is in a trade war with us, so why can’t we fix the Trump administration? Why, between 1992 and 2016, did China and the U.S., use to be able to settle all kinds of issues? No mater what kind of crises we encountered … things were solved in no time … We fixed everything in two months. What is the reason? I’m going to throw out something maybe a little bit explosive here. It’s just because we have people at the top. At the top of America’s core inner circle of power and influence, we have our old friends.

Two different Chinese speakers have confirmed the above translation. This is as close to a smoking gun as we have ever seen.

“We have people at the top. At the top of America’s core inner circle of power and influence.” According to Di Dongsheng, that has been true for decades.

So who are these people and how many of them work in our media and in our government? Well, Di didn’t say precisely. At another point in the program, he described a Chinese agent working as a vice president at, “a top Wall Street financial institution.” Di explained that he couldn’t say more without making political trouble.

Di did tell his audience that one agent in particular was especially useful, and he goes on at some length about her. He describes her as an American who’s lived abroad for many years and is now a Chinese citizen, and this seems to baffle him a little bit. The Chinese government doesn’t allow dual citizenship. Why would they? Why would anyone? Di seems pleased that the U.S. government is foolish enough to allow it. He explains that this American agent, who lives at least part of the year in Beijing, helped the Chinese government with a propaganda operation in Washington in 2015, and he goes on to describe that in some detail.

The Obama administration was easy to manipulate, Di suggests. The Chinese had many friends among the Obama people. The problem came when Donald Trump was elected. After that, he says, everything changed.

DI DONGSHENG (translation): For the past 30 years, 40 years, we have been utilizing the core power of the United States … Since the 1970s, Wall Street had a very strong influence on the domestic and foreign affairs of the United States, so we had a channel to rely on. But the problem is that after 2008, the status of Wall Street has declined, and more importantly, after 2016, Wall Street can’t fix Trump. Why? It’s very awkward. Trump had a previous soft default issue with Wall Street, so there was a conflict between them. But I won’t go into details, I may not have enough time. So during the U.S.-China trade war they [Wall Street] tried to help. And I know that, my friends on the U.S. side told me that they tried to help, but they couldn’t do much.

Since the 1970s, Di said, Wall Street has had enormous influence over the way the United States government operates. The Chinese government, he says, has enormous influence on Wall Street, and that arrangement worked very well for a long time.

Then Donald Trump unexpectedly was elected in 2016 and Wall Street was infuriated. “Wall Street can’t fix Trump,” he said, but they tried. This gives the game away.

If you’re wondering why our political class has stood by and allowed the Chinese government to degrade this country and our way of life, stood by as the Chinese government has flooded the United States with deadly opioids that have killed hundreds of thousands of people, stood by as the Chinese government ripped off billions of dollars worth of intellectual property from our companies, there’s your answer.

Earlier this year, the chairman of Harvard’s chemistry department was arrested for taking $50,000 per month from the Communist Party of China in return for sending secrets and referring top scientists to Beijing. It barely rated as a scandal and you may not even be aware it happened. Why? Because so many are on the take.

In effect, Donald Trump was an impediment to this very lucrative arrangement, and for that reason, Di explains in the video, America’s most powerful elites — and he calls them that — got to work on electing a new president again:

DI DONSHENG (translation): But now we’re seeing Biden was elected [laughter]. The traditional elite, the political elite, the establishment, they’re very close to Wall Street. So you see that, right? Trump has been saying that Biden’s son has some sort of global foundation. Have you noticed that? Who helped him [Biden’s son] build the foundations? Got it? There are a lot of deals in all these. [laughter, applause]

Di notes, because the Chinese do pay close attention to what we say here, Donald Trump has complained about Hunter Biden and his ties to the Chinese government. So now you know why you weren’t allowed to talk about Hunter Biden’s laptop and why big business aligned as one to suppress that story: Because they were implicated in it.

Back in October, we interviewed a man called Tony Bobulinski, because no one else would. Tony Bobulinski was a business partner of the Bidens. Here’s what he told us about China:

BOBULINSKI: And in a document that you guys have in — I think it’s been provided to, you know, to the world — the Chinese referenced that because of their trust in the Biden family, that Chairman Ye and Director Zang are excited about moving forward in this. And in that document, they reference loaning $5 million to the ‘BD family’ … The ‘BD family’ is the Biden family.

CARLSON: What are the implications of this going forward if Joe Biden is elected president, which could very well happen? How does this constrain his ability to deal with China?

BOBULINSKI: Are you asking for my personal —

CARLSON: I am, I’m asking for your opinion as someone who’s worked with the Chinese.

BOBULINSKI: So I think Joe Biden and the Biden family are compromised.

“I think Joe Biden and the Biden family are compromised.”

It looks like Tony Bobulinski was right about that. And it looks like the Bidens are far from the only ones who have been compromised.

That is all.

Friday News Roundup: Fulton County Fraud Video – the Game Changer Trump Needs?

Brian Kemp and Brad Raffensperger have a big problem on their hands. They have both steadfastly refused to take a single real or honest step to ensure that a full signature audit of the absentee and mail-in ballots takes place in their state despite the presence of mounting evidence that the presidential election – and probably at least one senate election – in their state was outright stolen by the Democrat Party.

As I pointed out late yesterday, testimony at a legislative hearing there revealed a video of Fulton County workers pulling rollerboard suitcases filled with thousands of hidden ballots out from beneath desks and shoving them into the Dominion counting machines after the room had been cleared of observers:

This video evidence has gone viral across all social media platforms and is placing a huge amount of pressure on the Georgia Governor and Secretary of State to finally do the right thing. But – and there is always a “but” in this month-long soap opera, it seems, if Sidney Powell is right in her repeated claims that both officials are themselves compromised by having financially benefitted in their leadership in awarding Dominion Systems a huge contract to provide vote counting hardware and software in their state, then they will likely just keep trying to kick the can down the road until the Electoral College vote is held on December 14.

Will this video become the game-changer the President and his lawyers need? If so, it needs to change the game soon. Time is growing short.

Here is more compelling evidence of the impact this video had on the election’s outcome. – Check out this tweet Eric Trump sent out early Friday morning:

That chart matches the vote tabulations reported during the time frame in which the video above takes place. Not surprisingly, it shows the biggest surge of the night in favor of China Quid Pro Joe Potato Head Biden. Surreal.

Hey, I wonder if William Barr would consider this to be “evidence”? Naaaahhh.

Meanwhile, in Nevada… – Take a look at this pile of evidence:

Do you think William Barr or anyone at the dumpster fire FBI has spent a moment looking at any of it? Yeah, probably not, because, as President Trump told reporters yesterday…:

Oh.

Coming soon to the United States:

Very soon, probably during 2021, you will either have to get vaccinated and obtain one of these cards and carry it with you in order to be able to travel or dine out or go to a movie or attend the theater or even go grocery shopping if the brutish American left has its way.

But don’t even suggest that maybe voters should have to show an ID before voting, or these same brutish, fascist leftists will cancel you.

Today is Alyssa Farah’s last day on the job. – Ms. Farah has been one of the unsung heroes of the Trump Administration. Yesterday, it was announced that she has resigned and that today will be her last day on the job:

Over the last three years, Ms. Farah has served as the Communications Director for the Secretary of Defense, the Vice President and the President. She is the first woman to ever serve in all of those three high-intensity positions.

Because she has achieved this remarkable accomplishment during a Republican presidency, Farah will received precious little credit from our corrupt news media establishment. But we will certainly give her full credit and appreciation here at DBDailyUpdate.

Godspeed, Alyssa.

While you weren’t looking, RINO Senator Mike Lee and his fellow Senate RINOs sold your children’s future out. – Watch Tucker Carlson excoriate Utah fake Republican Mike Lee and his fellow Senate RINOs for passing a massive giveaway of American tech jobs to foreign workers:

Here’s an excerpt from a Breitbart article on this horrific bill:

Every Republican and Democratic senator has let Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) pass a bill through the Senate that will supercharge the outsourcing of the white-collar jobs needed by America’s professional class and its college-educated children.

Donald Trump won the presidency in 2016 while promising to curb immigration and the huge H-1B program, said Kevin Lynn, founder of U.S. Tech Workers, a group that opposes the visa worker programs. He can veto the bill, or he can sign this bill when it is buried in the huge coronavirus bailout bill, Lynn said, adding, “If this is what Trump wants to be his legacy, well, good luck with that.”

“They’re going to turn millions of white-collar people into blue-collar people,” said Jay Palmer, a civil-rights activist working against human trafficking and the corporate displacement of Americans.

The bill hits “doctors, accounting, insurance people, teachers, graphics designers, pharmacists … [denies] college students from ever having an opportunity to get meaningful jobs, it floods the market, draws down wages, and makes people dependent on big government,” he said.

“Ninety percent of the senators do not know what this bill means,” he added.

Lee’s S.386 bill helps the Fortune 500 and Silicon Valley firms to annually trade green cards to 140,000 mid-skilled foreign workers in exchange for taking the starter jobs and routine jobs needed by U.S. graduates of all ages — especially as the country emerges from the coronavirus crash.

[End]

This bill is nothing more than a massive giveaway to the same big tech companies who have been censoring conservative thought and speech for the past decade. Why can’t the voters of Utah do better than Mike Lee and Mitt Romney? It’s a real mystery.

Fake news. Fake news everywhere. – Check out this tweet sent out by the news-fakers at @TheHill on Thursday:

FYI, this “controversial” testing method is called “seismic testing.” It is a method that the oil and gas industry uses in order to map underground geologic strata in an attempt to determine whether or not the various layers of rock contain hydrocarbons. To be clear, this “controversial” testing method has been used by the U.S. industry since 1921, and use of it in the Gulf of Mexico has been approved by every U.S. President since Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

This story is just one of a million examples of how leftwing fake “journalists” fake the news they deliver to the American public.

Despicable hacks.

Saturday News Roundup: Tucker Carlson Backs Down in his Bruhaha with Sidney Powell

Tucker Carlson did a little crawfishing last night. – After being raked over the coals by his viewers for his attack on Sidney Powell in his Thursday monologue, Fox host Tucker Carlson took a minute on Friday to try to avoid losing half of his audience:

Only time will tell if he succeeded or not.

But let’s all admit that Carlson is absolutely 100% correct about one thing: Sidney Powell had better be able to clearly and unambiguously back up her consistent claim that Dominion/Smartmatic software was manipulated to switch millions of Trump votes to Biden when these cases go to court in the coming two weeks. She has made this claim so frequently now that any judge she goes in front of is going to be very curious to see if she can back it up.

And “proof” cannot simply be an affidavit from or testimony by some former employee, which is what Powell consistently refers to whenever she is questioned about this. She will need to have first-hand, real documentary evidence to back up any verbal claim from any witness. If she does not have that, then she should not have been out there making this claim in ever press appearance she has made over the past two weeks.

Let’s also note, however, that Powell has also consistently said that she never makes a claim publicly that she cannot prove in court, and her outstanding track record as a lawyer supports that statement. As I discussed yesterday, no good lawyer is ever going to reveal her full case publicly in advance of trial, and Powell is a very, very good lawyer. So there is every reason to be optimistic where this is concerned.

Thus, in this ongoing conflict between Carlson and Powell, I feel very strongly both ways.

This happened on Friday:

From the report at JustTheNews:

The Trump campaign is bringing “legitimate accusations” to court through affidavits of credible witnesses and other evidence used in its challenges to electoral outcomes in various states, Federal Election Commission Chairman Trey Trainor said.

Trainor said his review of evidence, including numerous affidavits claiming voter fraud and a sworn statement by a prominent mathematician flagging up to 100,000 Pennsylvania ballots, met the first level of legal scrutiny under what’s known as motion to dismiss or “Rule 12(b)(6)” of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, which would dismiss less credible claims.

Noting the subsequent legal threshold beyond a “motion to dismiss” is the “summary judgment phase,” Trainor said that under this phase, the credibility of witnesses is presumed to be accurate, especially given the caliber of the testimonies Trainor has observed to date.

“When considering a motion for summary judgment, a judge will view all evidence in the light most favorable to the movant’s opponent,” explains Cornell University Law School’s Legal Information Institute website.

“What I would be concerned with, if I were on the other side of these election contests that are going on around the country, is that if you look at the level of evidence that has been provided by these affidavits — hundreds of affidavits that corroborate events that have happened on the ground — in a summary judgment phase of these cases, you have to take the evidence of the plaintiff as being true,” Trainor told “Just the News AM” television show Friday morning.

Oh.

This also happened on Friday:

From the story at JustTheNews:

Dominion Voting Systems backed out on Thursday night of a commitment to attend an oversight hearing before Pennsylvania’s State Government Committee and instead “lawyered up,” says a Pennsylvania lawmaker.

Dominion has been frequently cited by President Trump’s legal team, which is working to audit and perhaps overturn results in several states that have declared Democrat Joe Biden the winner.

Earlier on Thursday, before Dominion backed out of the Pennsylvania hearing, Trump attorney Sidney Powell made some very strong allegations against the company.

She stated that the company was “created in Venezuela at the direction of Hugo Chavez to make sure he never lost an election after one constitutional referendum came out the way he did not want it to come out. We have one very strong witness who has explained how it all works. His affidavit is attached to the pleadings of Lin Wood in the lawsuit he filed in Georgia.”

[End]

If Dominion disputes Powell’s claims and has nothing to hide, why is the company hiding? If you were a company CEO and you saw a high-profile lawyer for the President of the United States out there making all sorts of claims about your company that you consider to be false and damaging, wouldn’t you literally leap at any opportunity to get out there and tell your story, especially an opportunity to testify in front of a panel of key policymakers?

It is frankly stunning and damning that Dominion cancelled this appearance at the last minute.

Hey, maybe this had something to do with it. – Also on Friday, the Kirkland & Ellis law firm backed out of its representation of Pennsylvania’s corrupt Democrat Secretary of State in the matter:

Kind of makes you wonder, doesn’t it?

This also happened on Friday:

Take a look at the justices who now will have jurisdiction over appeals from the states of Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Georgia. These assignments, by the way, are made by Chief Justice John Roberts in consultation with each justice about their preferences and areas of expertise. The associate justice with jurisdiction will have the first say about whether any appeals from that state should be heard by the full court.

Stay tuned.

In other news, here is the edict that Minnesotans got from their corrupt communist Democrat Governor on what was Day 250 of “15 Days to Flatten the Curve”:

Lovely, isn’t it? Quit electing Democrats, Minnesotans, and stuff like this will stop happening to you.

Writing at The Federalist, Joy Pullmann has a terrific piece detailing how controversial presidential advisor Scott Atlas has been right about everything related to the China Virus, which is why the corrupt news media and Democrats are so focused on destroying him.

Here’s an excerpt from that piece:

Because he has courageously presented evidence that gums up the media’s goal of ending Trump’s presidency by using coronavirus to punish Americans, the knives have been out for the views Atlas represents since the beginning.

Atlas is not at all alone in professional skepticism about the value of extended lockdowns, cloth masks, and obsessing about case counts as opposed to hospitalizations and deaths. So far, more than 12,000 medical and public health scientists and more than 35,000 medical professionals from around the world have signed the Great Barrington Declaration that summarizes this advocacy of “focused protection.”

Atlas is just a prominent face for this view that the power-hungry elites need to crush to avoid responsibility for their horrifically bad leadership during the COVID outbreak, as well as to get Trump. So they seek to destroy him because he and the scientific coalition he represents makes it clear that these public health emperors may have plenty of masks, but no clothes.

Thus YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook have repeatedly banned or slapped warnings on Atlas’s statements and all scientific evidence that might support the Great Barrington view. This week a former Obama official called for Atlas’s medical license to be revoked for the crime of practicing science.

Tuesday News Roundup: Vote Like Your Way of Life Depends on it – Because it Does

[Note: You can read my predictions for the outcome of this election HERE.]

Here is one reason why massive post-election voter fraud is Joe Biden’s and his fellow Democrats’ only hope:

An excerpt from the linked article:

Wisconsin Democrats do not appear to be hitting their vote-by-mail and in-person early voting goals, an analysis of the early vote by “The Dan O’Donnell Show” has found. Despite a massive push for early voting across the state, the 12 counties won by Democrat Hillary Clinton in 2016 are badly trailing their early vote percentage from four years ago.

As of Monday morning, the day after in-person early voting concluded in Wisconsin, the 12 Democrat counties–Ashland, Bayfield, Dane, Douglas, Eau Claire, Green, Iowa, La Crosse, Menominee, Milwaukee, Portage, and Rock–accounted for a total of 743,829 votes; 39.4 percent of the 1,886,533 cast statewide. In 2016, those 12 counties accounted for 50.4 percent of the statewide early vote (336,533 cast out of 666,846 total early votes).

Dane and Milwaukee Counties–Wisconsin’s most populous and most overwhelmingly Democratic–account for 29.8 percent of the 2020 early vote total, down a full percentage point from the 30.9 percent share of Wisconsin’s early vote in 2016.

[End]

Oh. You don’t say.

This trend is not isolated to Wisconsin – it is happening all over the country and portends a big Trump/GOP win coming today. The only hope Biden and the Ds have is to steal millions of votes with post-Election Day vote “counting” shenanigans. Luckily, unlike Mitt Romney in 2012 and McCain in 2008, the President’s campaign is deploying thousands of lawyers and poll watchers to police the situation.

Here’s a great example of the Democrats’ plans for the rest of this week and beyond:

It’s only Democrats saying stuff like this – Republican-run cities and counties are going to get their votes counted tonight. Period. The Republican-run counties in PA and Florida will get their results in in just hours after the polls close, but you will see Democrat-run areas like Philly and Palm Beach and Broward counties in Florida take days and perhaps weeks.

Why? Can’t Democrats do basic math? Is it really so hard? Why do Democrat officials insist on pretending they are all elementary school dropouts?

The one and only reason for putting up this pretense is so they can extend the time they have available to “find” boxes of ballots in trunks of cars, in broom closets, buried under trees, etc. This must be stopped.

Get ready for the rioting:

It’s not like they’re making any secret of it, folks. And here is an immutable fact: If you had to board up your homes and/or businesses this week in anticipating of Democrat-sponsored rioting and looting tonight, THAT MEANS YOU HAVE BEEN ELECTING DEMOCRATS.

Stop doing that, and the problem disappears. This is not hard or complicated, much like counting votes.

This is a good sign:

Yeah, it’s 26 votes, but 16 of them going Trump’s way is just a sign of what is to come in New Hampshire, which Trump lost in 2016 by just a couple of thousand votes.

But what about Florida? – Here you go, from the most accurate pollster in 2016:

Look, folks, even the Pennsylvania Amish have jumped on the Trump Train:

Oh, my.

Here was last night’s Trump rally in Wisconsin, where more than 30,000 turned out to see the President:

Amazing.

Here’s what Joe Biden was doing in the Fracking state of Pennsylvania, the hub of the giant Marcellus Shale natural gas resource play:

Here’s the thing about that: The tiresome Ms. Gaga is a virulent anti-Fracking activist. Completely brain dead and tone deaf by the Biden camp.

Nail, here is Tucker Carlson hitting you on the head:

Our ruling class is indeed disgusting, and the thing it fears the most is a President Donald Trump governing unimpeded by re-election considerations. It is time we give that to the Swamp rats, snakes and skunks.

It’s a great day to be an American. If you haven’t voted yet, get out and do it like your way of life depends on it.

Because it does.

That is all.

Wednesday News Roundup: Bobulinski Revelations are a Ticking Time Bomb for Joe Biden

Fox News host Tucker Carlson aired a full hour interview with former Biden crime family “business” partner Tony Bobulinski last night, and we found out all sorts of things about the Democrat Party’s Unfrozen Caveman Candidate. Among the new revelations are:

– Adam “Pencil Neck” Schiff is responsible for Bobulinski’s decision to go public. Bobulinski told Carlson that he was outraged when Schiff started the false narrative that the Hunter Biden laptop was a part of a Russian disinformation campaign, and the media and Biden campaign started to parrot that narrative. The Bobs said that he demanded that Schiff retract his statement and when no retraction was forthcoming, that was when the made the decision to go public.

Thanks, Bugeyes!

– Bobulinski has recordings of various key phone conversations: Carlson played a recording of a phone conversation between Bobulinski and another ex-partner, Rob Walker, a former associate of Bill and Hillary Clinton (because of course they would somehow be involved in any mob-like influence scheme) in which they had this exchange:

“If he doesn’t come out, on record, I am providing the facts,” Bobulinski said.

“Ah, Tony, you’re just going to bury all of us, man,” Walker responded.

– Joe Biden could have kept him quiet with a single phone call to Schiff. He told Carlson that he had “hoped the Bidens would do the right thing,” but why he entertained that silly thought is anyone’s guess, given the Bidens’ sordid family history.

– Bobulinski had not one, but two face-to-face meetings with Joe Biden at Biden’s own request. During the first meeting, The Bobs recalls Joe Biden telling him, “My son and my brother trust you emphatically so I trust you. Good luck and work hard.” At the second, Joe Biden advised, “Keep an eye on my son and brother and look out for my family.”

– Regarding the infamous email in which Hunter Biden lays out to a partner in their business the various desired payoff divisions, noting that Hunter Biden gets 20 percent, Jim Biden, Joe’s brother, gets 10 percent and Hunter will hold 10 “for the big guy”, Bobulinski confirmed that the “Big Buy” absolutely was a reference to Quid Pro China Joe, the head of the family. It’s like a scene from the Sopranos.

There is much, much more and you can find a video of the full interview at this link.

Naturally, the entirety of the corrupt legacy media establishment will ignore this explosive interview just as it has ignored the entire sordid story in lockstep like the good little Goebbels Nazis they all are. Remember, these are the very same corrupt reporters and propaganda outlets who spent five years pushing a Russia collusion narrative without a single reliable witness they could point to publicly, without any recordings of incriminating phone calls, without a single incriminating email or text message [other than those that incriminated various FBI agents], without a single shred of actual evidence.

It’s the same media that reported leak after leak after leak for years on end without identifying a single source, without producing any real evidence to support what their “anonymous” and no doubt often made-up “sources” were telling them. The very same media that is only too happy to run in unison with completely unsubstantiated claims so long as they target the Bad Orange Man in the White House.

If it seems as if the national media establishment is actually repelled by real, hard evidence, well, it’s because it is, at least in any situation that might damage a Democrat or other prominent, card-carrying member of the deep state DC elite.

And if you think that the “media establishment” does not include Fox News, you should review the final 9 seconds of Carlson’s show last night:

Obviously, he got a ton of pushback from Fox’s management about moving forward with this interview of a formal naval officer who is completely credible and has reams of documentation to back up his story. So much pushback that he was obviously required to issue this word of thanks to Fox’s powers that be for not quashing the entire thing as his show ended. Makes you wonder what parts of this Fox management is still suppressing.

None of this will impact the election. – The simple fact of the matter is that all of this new information about the Biden Crime Family comes too late to really have a major impact on voters, especially given the Nazi media blackout on it. But every bit of momentum in the race is already behind President Trump, so that won’t matter at the end of the day.

But here’s the thing: the media blackout on this stuff cannot last forever. It’s too explosive and too well-documented. All they are trying to do right now is just continue the charade until Election Day has come and gone.

On the off-chance that Biden and the Democrats and their media co-conspirators do succeed in stealing the presidency, all of this stands as a ticking time bomb that would enable a Democrat-controlled house to impeach him and an eager, GOP-controlled senate to remove him from office early next year. If the clearly-addled Biden is not willing to go quietly into that good night shortly after his inauguration, citing very real and valid health concerns, the existence of all of this hard evidence would give the Democrats the rationale they need to remove him with cause and install the person they’ve wanted all along, the very pliable Kamala Harris.

The truth is that, any way this goes, any Biden presidency will be extremely short-lived. He will either go voluntarily a few weeks after being sworn in, or just as with Julius Caesar, his Democrat “friends” will let their media toadies pull out the long knives and take him out forcefully before the Ides of March have come and gone.

All of it can and will be avoided by simply re-electing Donald J. Trump. So, do the right thing, America. This is not hard.

That is all.

Saturday News Roundup: The True Meaning of Coyote and the Media Starts Hedging its Election Bets

When most of us hear the term “coyote” used in the context of illegal immigration across our southern border with Mexico, we think about human traffickers who extort huge amounts of money from poor Mexicans and other Latin Americans to smuggle them across the border.

As it turns out, all of the blue-check media wonders on Twitter who have spent the last five years sagely pontificating about the evils of limiting illegal immigration think the term means this:

The Coyote Kid - Imgflip

No, I’m not kidding. When President Trump made a negative reference to Coyotes and their human trafficking efforts – during which an extremely high percentage of female travelers are raped – media blue check wonders like Maggie Haberman reacted with outrage, thinking that the President was either referring to the parents of children or to actual coyotes. I swear I do not make this stuff up.

Here’s Tucker Carlson having a great old time ridiculing these morons on his show last night:

Thus we see that the very people who have been lecturing the rest of America about illegal immigration for all these years are in fact the rank ignoramuses we always suspected they must be in order to express such stupid opinions on the subject.

Good to know.

Speaking of the corrupt national news media, here’s an actual shot from a Biden Crime Family strategy meeting:

Ok, that’s just a meme, but it might as well be real.

And speaking of illegal immigration, take a gander at these numbers. – DHS Chief Chad Wolf reported this week that the Trump Administration has made incredible strides in halting the flow of illegal immigrants across our southern border, but warns that a new surge of illegals is building.

From a report at Breitbart since the rest of the media is blacking out the story:

President Donald Trump slashed the inflow of southern migrants from 400,000 in 2019 to just 14,000 in 2020, according to acting homeland security chief Chad Wolf.

The coronavirus crash is creating a new surge of migrants up to the U.S. border, Wolf warned in his October 21 speech. “Should our critics be successful and repeal the [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention] CDC order, we would face an unimaginable public health crisis,” Wolf said in a Phoenix, Arizona, speech, adding:

The only reason today’s crossings have not reached a crisis level is because of the policies and procedures the Department has put in place during the past four years. If these critical tools are removed or overturned, then the Department—and you, our frontline partners—would be imperiled by another immigration crisis.

Wolf described the administration’s huge and successful efforts to curb the southern migration into U.S. blue-collar workplaces. Prior Presidents did little or nothing, but Trump’s hard-fought upgrades have helped push up wages and opportunities for tens of millions of Americans — including blue-collar blacks and Latinos. Trump’s effort also protected many millions of Americans from losing their jobs amid relentless Wall Street pressure for corporate cost-cutting.

“In perhaps no area did the Washington special interests try harder to stop us than on my policy of pro-American immigration,” Trump said in his August 28 acceptance speech.

Wolf also touted the agency’s efforts to start shielding all Americans from the trillion-dollar economic threat caused by the legal and illegal migration of white-collar workers.

That’s a stunning success any way you look at it.

What is it with these Democrat politicians and dressing up as despicable historic figures for costume parties? – Yesterday, Patrick Howley revealed a high school annual photo of Democrat Arizona Senate candidate Mark Kelly dressed up as Adolph Hitler at some costume party:

What is up with this, seriously? It is as if every damn Democrat politician in America spent his or her youth longing for the days of the KKK and Nazi Germany. We all make mistakes in our misspent youths – that’s just part of growing up – but it seems that the current generation of Democrat politicians had a very ugly recurring theme running running through their culture back in the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s.

Kelly of course denies the person in the photo is him, but no one really believes him, mainly because the person in the photo is quite obviously a young Mark Kelly. Same jawline, same ears, same nose, same mouth, same body posture, etc.

The unearthing of this photo comes at a very inopportune time as he is now slightly trailing incumbent Republican Martha McSally in the most recent polls taken in the race. Oof.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.

Don’t look now, but the leftwing media and pundits are now starting the process of hedging their bets. – After months of pretending that Joe Biden was about to win the election in a landslide, the corrupt news media and pundits like Nate Silver have started the process of hedging their bets so they can claim to have been “right” when President Trump ends up winning a handy re-election.

Here’s Nate Silver, suddenly setting up a strawman scenario to explain why he completely whiffed on accurately projecting this election, just as he did in 2016:

Oh. You don’t sayyyyyyy. Now, when he is brought on MSNBC on Election Night to explain how he missed the Trump comeback, Silver will be able to point to this tweet and say, “hey, I warned you guys about this 11 days ago!”

Hilarious.

Here’s what Politico put out on Friday:

Here’s an excerpt:

Whether he is defeated in 11 days or leaves office in four years, Trump and Trumpism will still be with us, for decades to come.

The most obvious sign of that is the Senate’s all but certain confirmation Monday of Amy Coney Barrett to the U.S. Supreme Court — Trump’s third justice.

But it’s way more than a 6-3 majority on the Supreme Court. Democrats complain about the lasting effects of ignoring climate change for four years. They say the nation’s image abroad has eroded, as has confidence in democracy at home. For the duration of his presidency, Trump has insisted elections are “rigged.” No surprise, many voters aren’t confident that American elections are conducted in a fair and equal way.

After watching the chaotic presidential debate three weeks ago, the teenage son of Ken Martin, the chairman of Minnesota’s Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, asked Martin how he could stomach a life in politics, his chosen profession.

“It’s just sad, sad all around,” Martin said. “We’re going to be living with Donald Trump’s impact on politics for the next couple of generations.” He went on to say: “My concern here, win or lose, is that we have essentially changed the norms of politics to a place where you don’t have civil discourse anymore. The idea of working together just becomes so far off in the distance that how does anything get done in government anymore?”

For Democrats who feel like they are on the cusp of victory in this election, there is a sense of grief for what they have already lost.

It’s 2016 all over again, folks. These people are utterly and completely incapable of learning. They had four full years to do some research and work to get to know who Trump supporters really are and try to gain an understanding of why he creates such an incredible level of loyalty out here in Flyover Country, and chose to just lazily spend those years vilifying us instead.

They can all feel what’s coming now, but cannot ever bring themselves to admit they might have been wrong. So, they’ll all spend the next 10 days putting out bet-hedging pieces like this one and issuing fake polls showing Trump “closing the gap” that never really existed and all the other face-saving tactics in which they engaged in the leadup to Election Day 2016. Having set themselves up with this false sense of security, it’s too late now to do anything but try to save some shred of dignity and credibility to which they can desperately cling when the world comes crashing down around them one more time.

Glorious.

That is all.

Thursday News Roundup: The Entire Biden Family is Utterly Corrupt

Since Twitter and Facebook are censoring the New York Post’s bombshell stories on Hunter and Joe Biden and their corrupt activities in Ukraine and China, we will focus today’s Roundup on the Post’s new story detailing the Bidens’ looting of China for personal gain.

Here is an excerpt from today’s Post headliner:

Hunter Biden pursued lucrative deals involving China’s largest private energy company — including one that he said would be “interesting for me and my family,” emails obtained by The Post show.

One email sent to Biden on May 13, 2017, with the subject line “Expectations,” included details of “remuneration packages” for six people involved in an unspecified business venture.

Biden was identified as “Chair / Vice Chair depending on agreement with CEFC,” an apparent reference to the former Shanghai-based conglomerate CEFC China Energy Co.

His pay was pegged at “850” and the email also noted that “Hunter has some office expectations he will elaborate.”

In addition, the email outlined a “provisional agreement” under which 80 percent of the “equity,” or shares in the new company, would be split equally among four people whose initials correspond to the sender and three recipients, with “H” apparently referring to Biden.

Enlarge ImageEmail showing 'great expectations.'

The deal also listed “10 Jim” and “10 held by H for the big guy?”

Neither Jim nor the “big guy” was identified further.

[End]

Now, who do you suppose the “big guy” in this deal is? It isn’t hard to figure out.

It’s interesting to note that the Chinese energy company partnering with the Bidens in this scam went bankrupt earlier this year, and its chairman has conveniently disappeared. Funny how that happens, huh? Also interesting is the fact that this scheme resulted in the formation of a shell firm called “Hudson West” under which the Chinese interests created a large slush fund that allowed not just Hunter and Joe Biden access, but also Hunter’s uncle James Biden and his wife Sara.

It’s all in the family time in this deal. The whole. Damn. Family. is utterly corrupt. If Biden is elected, China wins without firing a shot. It’s that simple.

If you have missed out on the details surrounding the Bidens’ activities related to Ukraine and China, Tucker Carlson provided a fantastic overview of the entire story to open his show last night:

Watch it – it will be the best 10 minutes of time you invest today.

For those who prefer to read, here is a transcript:

Most of us never imagined it could happen in this country, and yet Wednesday, it did happen.

major American newspaper published a story, apparently an entirely accurate story, about a presidential candidate. The tech monopolies that control American media feared this story might hurt that candidate, whom they favor. So three weeks before a national election, they shut the whole thing down.

They prevented the public from reading the news. They didn’t apologize for doing this. They didn’t bother to make up reasonable-sounding justifications for it. They just did it, exactly as the Chinese government does. These are monopolies. They have all the power, you have none. They don’t have to care about what you think and they don’t.

This was mass censorship on a scale that America has never experienced in 245 years, and it’s a threat to all of us. Democracies only function when there is a free exchange of information between citizens. We no longer have that.

This is a dark moment. Here are the details:

Wednesday morning, the New York Post published a series of emails that describe Hunter Biden’s lucrative relationship with a Ukrainian energy company called Burisma, and then describe how his father, then the vice president of the United States, intervened to help his son peddle influence.

Now, we’ve known the outlines of this story for quite some time. But these emails add damning detail. No one appears to dispute that they’re real, not even the Joe Biden campaign. There are whispers that it’s all part of a Russian disinformation campaign. If this is a hoax, it is the most complex, sophisticated hoax ever perpetrated. It doesn’t seem possible. There’s too much detail.

These e-mails came from an Apple laptop that was dropped off at a Delaware computer repair shop last year and then abandoned there. After a certain number of days with no payment, the shop’s owner took legal possession of the laptop. When he looked inside, he found tens of thousands of emails, including exchanges with representatives of foreign companies and foreign governments. The laptop apparently belonged to Hunter Biden.

The shop owner was stunned by this, by the appearance of corruption, and he was afraid for his family. So late last year, he gave the laptop to the FBI and kept a copy of the hard drive for himself. He never heard back from the FBI. By May, he was anxious. So he made overtures to Senator Mike Lee’s office and at least one conservative nonprofit, but no one responded. Finally, the man contacted Rudy Giuliani’s office. And Wednesday’s story is the result of that.

The tech monopolies crushed the story the moment it appeared. An executive at Facebook called Andy Stone, a former Democratic staffer, announced that his company would censor the New York Post story. As he put it, Facebook would be “reducing its distribution on our platform.”

Twitter quickly followed suit by locking the New York Post’s entire Twitter account. One of the biggest newspapers in the world was banned from Twitter, which then prevented its users from sharing the story, both privately and publicly. Those who tried to share it got this message: “Your tweet couldn’t be sent because this link has been identified by Twitter or our partners as being potentially harmful.”

In a separate explanation, Twitter wrote this: “We don’t permit the use of our services to directly distribute content obtained through hacking that contains private information, may put people in physical harm or danger, or contains trade secrets.”

That’s the same Twitter that just promoted a New York Times story about the president’s private tax returns, obviously obtained illegally. And who, by the way, was hacked here? No one was hacked. Twitter never addressed that. As for “trade secrets,” there were none. We already knew that Hunter Biden was trading on his father’s office to make $50,000 a month from the Ukrainians. In October, he admitted it.

So we knew the outlines. What we didn’t know until Wednesday was how brazen this was. Hunter Biden didn’t simply sell access to his father, the vice president, or take cash to influence American foreign policy. It’s weirder than that.

As he schemed to extract more money from Burisma, Biden didn’t refer to his father as his father. He referred to Joe Biden, the vice president, as “my guy.” On April 13, 2014, for example, Hunter Biden wrote to his business partner, “The announcement of my guy’s upcoming travels should be characterized as part of our advice and thinking.” Hunter Biden added that he needed to be “protected financially” and wanted a long term role with Burisma: “The contract should begin now – not after the upcoming visit of my guy. That should include a retainer in the range of 25k”.

It’s not clear if Biden got that retainer. But we know he did get a high-paying job at Burisma. Then in May 2014, just weeks after Hunter Biden joined the board of that company, a top executive there let him know explicitly why he was being paid: “We urgently need your advice on how you could use your influence to convey a message/signal, etc., to stop what we consider to be politically motivated actions.”

What message does that mean? Well, another e-mail from the same executive obtained by The New York Post and dated April 17, 2015, explains in very clear terms what it means.

“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC [sic] and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure.”

That’s what you’re not allowed to read. And you can see why Facebook and Twitter don’t want to allow you to read it. If Joe Biden met with Burisma executives at the request of his son for the profit of his own family, it becomes very clear that Joe Biden’s previous denials were lies. Just last year, Joe Biden was telling us he had no idea what his son was doing it for Burisma.

BIDEN, speaking in January 2018: I had gotten a commitment from [then-Ukraine President Petro] Poroshenko and from [then-Prime Minister Arseniy] Yatseniuk that they would take action against the state prosecutor, and they didn’t … They were walking out to the press conference and I said … ‘We’re not going to give you the billion dollars.’ They said, ‘You have no authority. You’re not the president, the president said –‘ I said, ‘Call him.’ I said, ‘I’m telling you, you’re not getting the billion dollars. I said, ‘You’re not getting the billion. I’m going to be leaving here’ — I think it was what, six hours? … I said, ‘I’m leaving in six hours and if the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money.’ Well, son of a bitch, he got fired.

Why is the vice president of the United States firing prosecutors in Ukraine? Pause for a moment and ask yourself that. That’s bizarre behavior. It doesn’t help the United States in any way. Why was he doing that at the time?

Biden’s handlers deny there’s anything wrong with this. They just said Shokin was corrupt and somehow the world was benefitting by Shokin getting fired. Biden didn’t explain how he’d benefit from that. But, of course, Joe Biden didn’t do it for his son. He didn’t know anything about Burisma. He didn’t know what Hunter Biden was up to.

Then last October, we showed you a photograph of Joe and Hunter Biden golfing with a man called Devon Archer, a board member of Burisma and Hunter Biden’s business partner. The Biden campaign never explained that photograph. Rather than following up, our media rushed to Joe Biden’s defense in the same way they’re now rushing to bury the New York Post story.

In December, a voter in Iowa tried to ask Joe Biden about Burisma and his fitness for office. Joe Biden lost control of himself. He called the man “fat” and then challenged him to a push-up contest.

You might be wondering what Joe Biden thinks of all this. Unfortunately, his campaign called a lid before noon Wednesday. That meant reporters couldn’t ask him about the New York Post story, not that they wanted to.

We have some questions, and here’s the first one: Did any money from Burisma or any other foreign company or foreign government wind up in Joe Biden’s pockets or in the account of any entity he benefits from?

We’re not accusing Joe Biden of a crime. We’re saying it has long been a mystery how a man who took a government salary for almost 50 years has lived like a rich man since the 1970s. (Ever seen Joe Biden’s houses? Look them up. “Opulent” doesn’t begin to describe the way he lives.) Can you do that? No, you can’t. So how did Joe Biden do that?

No one seems especially interested in finding out. But we are, and we may. There were a lot of emails on that laptop in Delaware, tens of thousands of emails. The New York Post is not the only news organization that has copies of those emails.

They are out there. So stay tuned.

As Rudy Giuliani told Maria Bartiromo on Fox Business this morning, there is indeed much, much more to come on this story.

Not that it will do much good, but the New York Post reports that the Senate Homeland Security Committee has opened an investigation into all of this:

WASHINGTON — A Senate committee is investigating a bombshell cache of documents about Hunter Biden’s foreign dealings that was acquired by a Delaware computer repairman and exposed Wednesday by The Post.

The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee confirmed it is working with the repairman, whose identity was confirmed by The Post, to verify documents from the hard drive.

“There are so many red flags about the Biden family trying to cash in on the Vice President’s position that it can be hard to keep them straight,” Committee Chairman Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) told The Post.

“Today’s report raises more questions that must be resolved,” Johnson said.

[End]

God bless Senator Johnson for at least trying.

Hilariously, Mike Allen, editor at Axios, has a story today discussing how Biden is the “luckiest and least-scrutinized frontrunner” in modern times:

Eight months ago, Joe Biden was in danger of losing the Democratic nomination. Now he’s a prohibitive favorite for president — who got there with lots of luck and shockingly little scrutiny.

Why it matters: The media’s obsession with Trump — and Trump’s compulsion to dominate the news — allowed Biden to purposely and persistently minimize public appearances and tough questions.

Since Aug. 31, Biden has answered less than half as many questions from the press as Trump — 365 compared with 753 — according to a tally by the Trump campaign, which the Biden campaign didn’t dispute.

  • In that time, Biden has done approximately 35 local TV interviews, three national interviews and two town halls.
  • Biden went almost three months without taking questions from beat reporters.
  • Biden aides say one reason there’s less scrutiny of Biden in the general election is that he already was examined thoroughly in the primary election and over decades in public life.
  • Andrew Bates, a Biden spokesperson, said: “Who’s ‘scrutinizing’ Trump more, Maria Bartiromo or Sean Hannity?”

Biden has yet to be pinned down on an array of legitimate questions, including:

  • His blunt view of adding new justices to the Supreme Court, which will be a priority for progressives if Judge Amy Coney Barrett is confirmed. Biden, who had criticized the idea in the past, finally said he’s “not a fan of court packing.”
  • Biden also has mostly gotten off easy on Medicare for All, police funding, Pentagon spending, fracking, reparations for African Americans, the Green New Deal and his support for the 1994 crime bill.
  • Per Trump campaign spokesperson Andrew Clark: “Biden has been the least-scrutinized presidential candidate in modern history at great disservice to the voters, but the press still has time to rectify that.”

[End]

Why is this story unintentionally hilarious? Because Axios is basically the daily summarizer of the topline talking points for the Democrat/Media Axis of Propaganda, one of the most reliable mouthpieces for the Democrat Party in existence today.

And note what Allen and Axios leave completely out: The story makes no mention whatsoever of the bombshell stories about the Biden family corruption.

If Joe Biden has been “lucky” and not properly vetted by the corrupt news media, Allen has been one of the leading players in that intentional effort. It’s a role he and Axios will continue to play right through Election Day and beyond.

That is all.

Tuesday News Roundup: Tucker Carlson Exposes Soros as Seattle’s Mayor Hires a Pimp

Here’s how depraved Democrats are in their pursuit of political power. – The House’s new draft of a short-term budget deal through December 11 defunds school lunches for children and aid to American farmers, so that their candidates can then go into rural areas where both are needed and blame Donald Trump.

From a story at BreakingDefense.com:

The document, released Monday by the House Appropriations Committee, could go up for a vote before the entire House later this week before being sent to the Senate.

In a sign of the fights to come with only nine days until the federal government shuts down, Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell immediately rejected the proposed House bill, writing on Twitter: “House Democrats’ rough draft of a government funding bill shamefully leaves out key relief and support that American farmers need. This is no time to add insult to injury and defund help for farmers and rural America.”

[End]

Every time you think the Democrat Party could not possibly become any more despicable than it already is, they go and prove you wrong again.

Fox News can’t mute Tucker Carlson. – Fox is moving increasingly left during its daytime programming, but the ratings power of its evening host lineup is keeping that four-hour block steadfastly conservative.

Late last week, we saw the spectacle of former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich being shut down by Harris Faulkner, Melissa Francis and Marie Harf when he raised the unarguable fact that George Soros has spent hundreds of millions of dollars over the last decade supporting radical anarchists in district attorney elections all over the country. This summer, we saw the results of that Soros effort with hundreds of domestic terrorists being released immediately without charges filed against them after they had been arrested for rioting in cities like Portland, Seattle, Minnesota, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, St. Louis, Chicago and New York.

Tucker Carlson, host of Fox’s 8-9 p.m. ET hour, took it upon himself to respond to Fox’s censorship of Gingrich by airing a full-segment report on Soros’s evil activity last night, and it is outstanding. Here’s the clip of it:

So long as his ratings remain strong, Carlson apparently still overrules Paul Ryan in the Fox News power structure.

Philly fans boo everything, even when they aren’t there. – During their loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz was booed twice as he came off the field after throwing interceptions:

That’s nothing unusual, of course. What is odd about this situation, though, is that there were no fans in attendance in Philly on Sunday. Wentz was in fact booed by the fake fan noise being pumped into the stadium by employees of his own team. I’m not sure you’ll see that adherence to authenticity in any other BLMFL stadium this season.

While Joe Biden flubbed the lines to the Pledge of Allegiance while reading yet another TelePrompter speech to yet another imaginary audience, President Donald Trump put in a full day’s work at the White House – including a meeting with potential nominee Amy Coney Barrett – then flew out to Toledo, Ohio for another of his massive airport rallies.

Here are some scenes from that:

But the fake pollsters expect you to believe that the guy who doesn’t even know how to put on his mask with the blue part facing outwards is leading the incumbent who draws these crowds everywhere he goes.

Don Lemon says the part he isn’t supposed to say out loud. – CNN is now officially aligned with the domestic terrorist groups and their goals of destroying America.  Watch as pretend journalist Don Lemon formally adopts the Antifa/BLM goal of “[blowing] up the entire system”:

Dear Don: When what you’re saying is too extreme for even Fredo to endorse, you’ve probably said too much.

The Big Apple continues to rot from its core. – In a bit of real news that was of course ignored by our corrupt, mainstream news media, the Daily Caller reports that 87% of New York City restaurants were unable to make their August rent payments due to the depressing effects of ongoing lockdown orders by the city’s buffoon Mayor, and thanks to the fact that House Democrats killed a Republican stimulus bill that would have provided rent support before they left for their August vacation.

From that Daily Caller story:

A survey found that 87% of New York City restaurants, bars, and nightlife venues couldn’t pay their full rent in August as the city grapples with permanent business closures and unemployment.

The survey by the NYC Hospitality Alliance also showed that 34% of these establishments couldn’t pay rent at all, Patch reported.

The results, which were released Monday, come ahead of the scheduled reopening of indoor dining at 25% capacity starting Sept. 30. If positive rates for coronavirus don’t show significant increase, the capacity will be raised to 50% by Nov. 1, according to Eater.

But many restaurants are struggling to remain afloat in the meantime, and outdoor dining seemingly failed to help many businesses survive the warmer months of the pandemic.

“Restaurants, bars and nightlife venues have been financially devastated by the COVID-19 pandemic,” Andrew Rigie, the group’s executive director, said in a statement according to the NY Post.

“Even before the pandemic when operating at 100 percent occupancy, these small businesses were struggling to stay open. Now we’re seeing widespread closures, approximately 150,000 industry workers are still out of their jobs, and the overwhelming majority of these remaining small businesses cannot afford to pay rent.”

[End]

Thanks, Bill de Blasio and Nancy Pelosi!

Meanwhile, in Riot City, USA… – The domestic terrorists in BLM and Antifa took their rioting to another residential neighborhood overnight as local police stood around and watched:

In Seattle, communist Democrat Mayor Jenny Durkan has hired a pimp to be her “Street Czar”, because of course she has:

You just could never make this stuff up, folks. Come back and see me – I’m here all week.

Wednesday News Roundup: China Scientist Drops a Bombshell and DOJ Convenes a Bolton Grand Jury

Let’s all remember that Anthony Fauci and Bill Gates and Barack Obama directed hundreds of millions to this lab and its “research”. – Last night, Tucker Carlson interviewed a Chinese virologist named Dr. Li-Meng Yan. Ms. Yan worked at the WHO reference lab in Hong Kong, one of the top research labs on earth, during the time the China Virus was released from the virology research lab outside of Wuhan.

She told Carlson that the China Virus was created in that lab and the release of the Virus was committed intentionally by the Chinese communist government.

From a story at Fox News:

Carlson specifically asked Dr. Li-Meng Yan whether she believed the Chinese communist party released the virus “on purpose.” “Yes, of course, it’s intentionally,” she responded on “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

Yan said more evidence would be released but pointed to her own high-ranking position at a World Health Organization reference lab as a reason to trust her allegation.

“I work[ed] in the WHO reference lab which is the top coronavirus lab in the world, in the University of Hong Kong. And the thing is I get deeply into such investigation in secret from the early beginning of this outbreak. I had my intelligence because I also get my own unit network in China, involved [in] the hospital … also I work with the top corona[virus] virologist in the world,” she said.

“So, together with my experience, I can tell you, this is created in the lab … and also, it is spread to the world to make such damage.”

Yan’s comments conflicted with the opinion of Dr. Anthony Fauci, a White House coronavirus adviser, who previously cast doubt on the idea the virus was artificially created. In May, he told National Geographic: “If you look at the evolution of the virus in bats, and what’s out there now is very, very strongly leaning toward this [virus] could not have been artificially or deliberately manipulated—the way the mutations have naturally evolved.”

In response, her former employer, the University of Hong Kong, criticized her account. A press release noted “that the content of the said news report does not accord with the key facts as we understand them.”

“Specifically, Dr Yan never conducted any research on human-to-human transmission of the novel coronavirus at [the University of Hong Kong] during December 2019 and January 2020, her central assertion of the said interview.”

Yan, who said she was one of the first scientists in the world to study the novel coronavirus, fled China and currently fears retaliation. She was allegedly asked by her supervisor at the University/WHO reference lab, Dr. Leo Poon, in 2019 to look into the odd cluster of SARS-like cases coming out of mainland China at the end of December 2019.

[End]

So, who are we to believe, a scientist who is placing her life in clear danger by making these allegations, or a lifelong bureaucrat who steered millions of dollars to the lab from which the virus was clearly released?

Doesn’t seem like a real tough question.

This also happened on Tuesday:

From a story at the Washington Examiner:

The Justice Department opened a criminal inquiry into whether former White House national security adviser John Bolton unlawfully disclosed classified information in his latest book.

A grand jury convened and issued subpoenas for communication records from Simon & Schuster, the company that published The Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir, as well as from Javelin, Bolton’s literary agency, according to multiple reports on Tuesday.

“We are aware of reports that grand jury subpoenas have been issued seeking information concerning the publication of Ambassador Bolton‘s recent book,” Bolton’s lawyer, Charles Cooper, told the Washington Examiner. “Ambassador Bolton emphatically rejects any claim that he acted improperly, let alone criminally, in connection with the publication of his book, and he will cooperate fully, as he has throughout, with any official inquiry into his conduct.”

[End]

Oh, my, oh, my, oh, my, my, my. Whether he ends up being prosecuted and convicted or not, the decision to publish this book is going to end up costing Mr. Bolton far more money in legal fees than whatever money he may make from it. Couldn’t happen to a nicer warmonger.

No critical race theory training at CDC after all. – After President Trump ordered a halt to all training sessions on the evil “critical race theory” within federal agencies, some Obama holdover at the CDC decided they would move ahead with that agency’s sessions anyway:

Yesterday, the Director of the OMB, Russ Vought, announced that that bit of subversion had been halted:

There is still justice in the world.

A beautiful day for a peace deal. – As I covered elsewhere this morning, the Democrat/media Axis of Propaganda was beside itself with rage on Tuesday as President Trump was having the temerity to bring actual peace between three nations in the Middle East.

Katie Pavlich posted these photos, which captured the beautiful setting at the White House:

Blessed are the peacemakers. Thank you, President Trump.

Today’s Democrat Party-sponsored Riot Update – Portland, aka Riot City USA, had a fourth straight day of no rioting following the DNC stand down order issued last Friday due to bad polls. But real journalist Andy Ngo reports that the Democrat-paid organizers are getting ready to mount a new offensive soon:

As I pointed out yesterday, the past few days of relative calm are just a lull in the action. Expect the death and destruction to mount back up soon.

There was some action in Philadelphia, where Democrat-sponsored BLM terrorists held what CNN and MSNBC would claim was a “largely peaceful” rally that included these scenes:

Ask yourselves this: Why do Democrat mayors force their police officers to put up with this kind of crap? That woman is a feral animal who should have been arrested, taken to jail, and booked for assaulting a police officer. She needs to be in custody for her own safety and for the safety of those around her.

Queen Nancy Personifies the Democrat Party’s Contempt for Ordinary Americans

So, why do we care where Queen Nancy gets her hair done? – The answer to that is simple, isn’t it? It’s because she has been one of the loudest Democrat voices over the last six months lecturing the little people of America to stay locked up in their homes and only venture out when wearing a mask. She’s been one of the most ardent fans of the lockdowns mandated by despicable Democrat governors like her step-nephew Gavin Newsom, putting millions of little people out of work and shuttering hundreds of thousands of businesses.

Even worse than her act of intentionally violating nephew Gavin’s lockdown/mask orders on Sunday by intimidating a single mother salon owner to open her shuttered business just for her decripit, stringy mane was Queen Nancy’s response to getting caught. She couldn’t lower herself to do the simple thing: To admit her wrongdoing and ask to be forgiven. Instead, she haughtily claimed at a press conference to having been “set up” and demanded that the salon owner she had intimidated apologize to her.

Nancy Pelosi says her visit to a hair salon was a 'setup' - Los Angeles Times

This would seem a small matter were it not so perfectly emblematic of the dismissive stance taken towards ordinary Americans not just by Queen Nancy and her despicable fellow Democrats, but many Republicans who fester in the DC Swamp as well.

It is a sad fact of America’s current state of being that, aside from President Donald Trump, several members of his cabinet and senior advisory staff and a handful of members of congress, almost the entirety of the District of Columbia has become hostile territory. About 95% of the national news media is supportive of that contempt for the American people. Even worse, the Democrat Party funds two different domestic terrorist groups – Antifa and BLM – whose operatives travel the country burning and looting vast swaths of Democrat-controlled cities at will, knowing the Democrat mayors will not allow the police to properly deal with them.

Here’s a prime example of these terrorists acting with impunity in Washington, DC just a few hours before this was written:

The police can’t act because the Mayor won’t allow it. The Mayor isn’t home, so she couldn’t care less about the disturbance and threat these thugs are creating for her neighbors. You think you’re safe in your home because your town has ordinances that designate this to be criminal behavior? Better check to see which political party your mayor is affiliated with, because you might be surprised to discover exactly how unsafe you really are.

The Democrat Party also has an online army, the social media outrage mob that attacks, doxxes and cancels anyone the Democrats point their gnarly fingers towards. The single mother salon owner, Erica Kious, made an appearance on Tucker Carlson’s show last night. She told Carlson that Nephew Gavin’s lockdown order has caused her to lose 60% of her clients and most of her stylists and that her business is dead.

Even worse, she told Carlson that she will have to leave San Francisco after being attacked by the Democrat outrage mob on social media with the most vile and disgusting kinds of death threats imaginable.

It’s a disgrace. This is behavior that no civilized society should allow, but that’s the whole point: The Democrat Party is working hard to ensure that America loses its status as a civilized society.

See, it would be impossible to “transform” a free nation of 330 million people who exist as a cohesive unit, a people who share common values, a common outlook and common goals. It is far, far easier to foment a Marxist-style revolution within a population that is completely divided among itself, shares no common values or goals and is already assaulting one another online and actively attacking one another in the streets.

Every goal the Democrat Party has pursued over the past half-century has been designed to divide the American population along class, race and religious lines. They’ve used education policy for this, they’ve used tax policy for this, they’ve used civil rights policy for this, they’ve used housing policies and healthcare policies, immigration polices and foreign policy for this. Hell, they’ve even used energy and environmental policy to advance their divisive goals.

Democrats like Nancy Pelosi now believe that they are on the cusp of consolidating that half century of hard work in this year’s election. Her contempt for and hostility towards Erica Kious is just the manifestation of the way she feels towards all of us.

In their path stands a single obstacle: Donald J. Trump. He’s it. He is all the rest of America has.

You give this woman a majority in the House and Joe Biden/Kamala Harris in the White House, you will not enjoy the result.

That is all.

Tuesday News Roundup: Turncoat Kasich, Flynn Case Filing, and a Bogus Suit Hits Hannity and Carlson

You expected something else? – “News” broke on Monday that fake Republican John Kasich will “speak on behalf of” Joe Biden at the DCN phone call, er, “convention” when it virtually takes place in August. Note the specific wording, “speak on behalf of”. What, Creepy Uncle Quid Pro Farty China Joe can’t speak for himself now? Or is that just yet another example of bad writing in the media?

It’s a valid question because you have to wonder whether Biden will by then even be capable of delivering his own acceptance speech from the safe confines of his basement. With everything else they are doing right now with the help of their corrupt media toadies, no one should doubt that the Democrats would try to hold a convention during which the nominee never opens his mouth.

Think about it: San Fran Nan has been illegally allowing members of her House caucus to “vote by proxy” for months now, and no one in the corrupt media can be bothered to inform their readers or viewers of that fact. If Democrats can get away with that, why wouldn’t they believe they could get away with holding a convention in which Kasich gives Biden’s acceptance speech by proxy?

In any event, Republicans should celebrate the fact that Democrats will now be subjected to an hour of the most tiresome man in politics droning on about “Hey, didja know my Dad was a mailman?” Maybe they can get Bill Kristol and Paul Ryan to join him. Awesome.

Speaking of Creepy Uncle Quid Pro Farty China Joe Biden… – Here he is wishing that our public schools taught more about radical Islam:

This is a guy, mind you, who can’t make himself utter the words “under God” in a campaign speech, but he’s all in on teaching Islam to your children. That’s who the Democrat Party wants to be your next president.

Problem, meet new narrative solution. – So, you’re the leaders of the Democrat Party, and you see Tucker Carlson’s ratings going through the roof as he tells the truth about what is really happening in our society night after night. You see Sean Hannity coming in a strong second in the cable ratings by pounding on Obamagate night after night. You see Ed Henry reviving the ratings fortunes of Fox’s mid-morning program while reporting scoops about Obamagate. You see Fox News in general destroying MSNBC and CNN in viewing audience and even among the 25-49 target demographic week after week after week.

What do you do? How about finding a disgruntled ex-Fox employee and a dissatisfied sporadic contributor who are willing to file a scattershot sexual misconduct lawsuit against all of the them?

From a story at Politico:

Two women accused male Fox News hosts of sexual harassment and, in one woman’s case, rape, in a lawsuit filed on Monday in federal court in New York.

Ed Henry, who was fired as a host earlier this month, was accused of sexual harassment and rape in the suit, while hosts Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson and Howard Kurtz were alleged to have separately behaved in a sexually inappropriate way. Jennifer Eckhart, a former producer, accused Henry of rape and threatening retaliation for refusing his advances. Cathy Areu, a reporter often invited on the network, accused Henry, Hannity, Carlson and Kurtz of sexual harassment and gender discrimination.

[End]

This is just too convenient for words, folks. Obviously, all of the accused Fox personalities have denied the accusations – they would do that even if they were guilty. For his part, Henry admits to having a consensual relationship with Eckhart, and the two exchanged some decidedly creepy messages. There is a reason why Fox dismissed him when the allegations became public.

The test will be to watch and see where this lawsuit goes, how it ends up being disposed.

My bet is the claims against Carlson and Hannity will quietly disappear in a few weeks after it become obvious Fox is not going to kneejerk to firing them as it did with Henry.

Kurt Schlichter had this reaction to the news of the suit:

That pretty well sums up my feelings about it, too. We’ll see.

Flynn Persecution Update: The U.S. Solicitor General’s office filed a petition yesterday urging the DC Circuit Court of Appeals to deny corrupt Judge Emmet Sullivan’s request for an en banc rehearing of General Mike Flynn’s application for a writ of mandamus.

Here’s how real journalist Catherine Herridge reported it on her Twitter feed:

Note this closing comment: “As far as the government is aware, only one district judge has ever before filed a petition for rehearing en banc in a mandamus case + that petition was denied.” That is how extraordinary and completely inappropriate this effort by Sullivan to keep Flynn’s case alive – and thus keep Flynn quiet – until after the election truly is.

Make no mistake about this: When the Circuit Court rules against Sullivan in a few weeks, there is no question whatsoever that the corrupt judge and his Lawfare lawyers will immediately request a hearing before the U.S. Supreme Court. Here’s the thing about that: the Supremes will not reconvene until the first Monday in October.

With Sidney Powell having filed her own response to Sullivan’s request, the case is now fully in the hands of the Circuit Court. But, given the realities of the calendar at this point, Sullivan and his deep state sponsors have basically already achieved their true goal.

That is all.

Thursday News Roundup: Joe Biden Needs More Fiber, the Times Beclowns Itself Again, and the Trouble With Polls

Pray for these debates to happen. – Think about it: If a debate breaks out this fall between Donald Trump, Kanye West and Joe Biden, we are all going to think we must have accidentally ingested a massive amount of peyote. It would be such a wild trip that we absolutely must find a way to make it happen.

Kanye West no longer supports President Trump, says Joe Biden not ...

This cracked me up, but only because it could be based in reality:

James Woods is a national treasure.

Your corrupt news media in action. – The New York Times weighed into the ongoing tit-for-tat exchange between Fox’s Tucker Carlson and depraved Democrat/Marxist Senator Tammy Duckworth. Because Duckworth cannot be defended based on facts and logic, the Times very predictably based its defense of her by proclaiming that, because Duckworth was born in Thailand and lost her legs serving her country in Iraq, she is above any form of criticism.

From a piece at The Federalist:

The New York Times charged Fox News’ Tucker Carlson of espousing nativism Wednesday after the prime time television host criticized Illinois Democratic Sen. Tammy Duckworth, who said Americans ought to consider cancelling George Washington and called American heroes honored in Trump’s Friday speech at Mount Rushmore “dead traitors.”

“Tammy Duckworth Confronts Nativist Smears From Tucker Carlson,” blared the Times headline. “Senator Tammy Duckworth of Illinois, a Thai-American Democrat who lost both of her legs fighting the Iraq war and is now a potential vice-presidential nominee, was targeted with nativist smears for the second night in a row on Tuesday by Fox News’ Tucker Carlson.”

Carlson however, did no such thing. His rant had nothing to do with where she was born which was in Thailand, and nothing to do with her citizenship, which was granted by having an American father. See for Yourself:

https://twitter.com/i/status/1280855419813015552

[End]

As you can see, what Carlson actually did was take Duckworth to task for saying it’s time for Americans to “cancel” George Washington, without whose amazing courage America literally would not exist, and for characterizing him and many others, like Thomas Jefferson, Teddy Roosevelt, Ulysses Grant, Andrew Jackson, Frederick Douglass, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King and many other real American heroes as “dead traitors.”

Tammy Duckworth hates America, which of course just makes her a typical Democrat member of congress these days. But of course, her status as a Democrat is why the Times is obligated to defend her by any means available, even when the only means available happen to be intellectual dishonesty and abject stupidity. Because that’s what our corrupt news media does.

Hey, didja ever wonder what Creepy Uncle Quid Pro Farty China Joe Biden believes with every fiber of his being? – Well, yesterday, the Unfrozen Caveman Presumptive Nominee tried to explain it, and sadness and unintentional hilarity ensued:

Verbatim Transcript:

Biden: Lonnie knows I believe this every fiber my being. We’re posed. I, what I proposed is, is………..it can be done. I hink we’re in a position ta, ta really make it happen. And my team and your team…already working closely together, and light, to light up the path forward here. Critical laws like the pro act to strengthen collective bargaining. On politics like the prevailing and pr……look, I guess…I’m gettin’, I’m, I’m gettin’, f, takin’ too much time. You know…

[End]

So, there you have it, folks – Joe Biden’s core beliefs, beliefs that he feels with every fiber of his being. Or maybe he meant he just didn’t get enough fiber in his Metamucil – it’s all so confusing. Who really knows?

So, you needed one more reason not to watch CNBC? – Well, here you go:

Can’t wait to see the ratings for that time block.

The trouble with polls, part 6,572. – A new national poll released yesterday by The Hill/HarrisX has Democrats concerned. Why? Because HarrisX is an actual legitimate polling organization that has little-to-no incentive to fake up its results.

This poll of 933 registered voters was taken on July 3-4, and it finds Biden leading President Trump by a margin of 43 to 39. That 4-point margin is well below the 8-12 point leads found by a series of media-driven polls released over the past month, and it has some Democrats very concerned, as reported in a piece at The Hill:

“I think a four point lead should be very concerning,” Democratic pollster and founding partner at Hit Strategies, Terrance Woodbury, told Hill.TV.

“We know the enthusiasm gaps between Biden and Trump, with Trump’s supporters being very enthusiastic and insistent on voting for him, margins that close are problematic,” Woodbury added.

A recent USA Today-Suffolk poll found half of Trump supporters said they were “very excited” to vote for the President while 27 percent of Biden supporters said the same.

New York Times-Siena College survey from early June showed similar gaps in voter enthusiasm when looking at battleground states.

[End]

As good an organization as HarrisX is, even its polls on this race remain extremely problematic, for one simple fact: Most Trump supporters are very uncomfortable expressing their real views with any stranger who claims to be a pollster. One poll of Trump voters on Twitter earlier this week showed that well over 70% of the respondents would fear retribution from employers or others for admitting to be a Trump supporter.

That’s how pervasive the media campaign to demonize supporters of the President of the United States has become.

Now, think of what that means for pollsters, even the really good ones like HarrisX. It means you can never be confident that you have compiled a truly representative sample of the American public, no matter how hard you try. This is why no one should waste a bunch of time worrying about these polls, especially four months in advance of Election Day.

Those Democrats have every reason to be worried, because if Biden really does have a 4-point “lead” in the current polls, it likely means he really trails the President by half a dozen points or even more.

That is all.

Watch Tucker Carlson Destroy Don Lemon in 92 Seconds

Down goes Lemon! Down goes Lemon! Down goes Lemon! – Holy, cow, this is brutal. Watch as Tucker Carlson absolutely destroys Don Lemon and CNN in 92 short seconds (Transcript follows):

Transcript:

Carlson: Now, if you’re running a channel like CNN, you want dumb people on the air because they’re compliant. They’ll say what they’re told, they’ll tell the audience what the moment demands, they’ll never stray from the script, and that’s exactly what Mr. Lemon is doing. But just 7 years ago, it was a different country and people were kind of allowed to say what they think. And so, at the time, here is what Don Lemon was saying about Black communities. Watch this.

Lemon: More than 72% of children in the African American community are born out of wedlock. That means absent fathers. And studies show that lack of a male role model is an express train right to prison. And the cycle continues. So please, Black folks, as I said – if this doesn’t apply to you, I’m not talking to you – pay attention to and think about what has been presented in recent history as acceptable behavior. Pay close attention to the hip-hop and rap culture that many of you embrace, a culture that glorifies everything that I just mentioned: Thug and reprehensible behavior. A culture that is making a lot of people rich, just not you. And it’s not going to.

Carlson: Wow. Can you imagine what would happen if Don Lemon or his body-building buddy over there, or any of these hair hats, said anything like that on CNN tonight, or MSNBC? That would be their last live broadcast ever. They would be fired immediately. You can’t express views like that, and so they don’t. Tells you a lot

[End]

Of course Tucker is 100% right on this: Don Lemon and his fellow “hair hat” hosts at CNN and MSNBC are nothing more than automatons, useful idiots who the honchos at CNN and MSNBC can put on the air and feel certain will stick to the DNC script, whatever that happens to be on any given day.

Lemon is a rank coward – and credibly accused sexual assaulter – and thus will likely not address Carlson’s monologue. But if he were to address it, he would no doubt recite some talking points that had been carefully drafted for him about how times change, and his thinking has evolved on fatherless children, yada yada yada, blah-blah-blah.

Well, what exactly has changed since 2013? That’s easy: First, you have the ascendancy of the Marxist Democrat Party support group Black Lives Matter. Did you know that advocacy FOR fatherless families is one of that domestic terrorist group’s central tenets? That’s right: BLM doesn’t think 72% of Black babies being born out of wedlock is a high enough percentage – these thugs (Lemon’s word) are shooting for 100%, because they know the chaos that creates in the Black communities spreads across the entire country.

The second obvious thing that’s changed is who the President happens to be. In 2013, it was Barack Obama, who spoke frequently about the damage done to black communities by federal policies that incentivize fatherless families in the Black community. Of course, he never implemented a single policy to try to change anything, but he talked a good game.

In that 2013 clip, it’s a safe bet that Lemon was simply parroting recent remarks made by Obama, or perhaps Eric Holder, who was the Attorney General at the time. It has to be something like that, given that Lemon is obviously not capable of forming his own thoughts on any subject. Like Joe Biden staring blankly at the camera in his basement, Lemon was just reading a script.

Today, Donald Trump is the President, which at CNN HQ means that the scripts being handed to Lemon to recite are being compiled to reflect the views of Black Lives Matter, which the Democrats and corrupt media are working feverishly to normalize as a legitimate “civil rights” organization, even though that terrorist group advocates for policies of destruction and deprivation of such rights.

Everything you see today on CNN, MNSBC and 98% of the national news media is engineered with a single goal in mind: To deny the re-election of Donald J. Trump. Lemon is just a mindless automaton with a $200 haircut who looks good in a suit and happens to be a good reader.

The hilarious part of all of this is that Lemon has no idea he read that stuff in 2013, and was probably as surprised as anyone to see that clip. Because the messages he parrots are not his – he’s just the empty vessel who carries them on-air.

That is all.

Jason Whitlock Flays and Exposes the NFL and Black Lives Matter

Over the past month I have received a number of nasty notes from both acquaintances (I hesitate to use the word ‘friend’ for these people) and non-acquaintances over my consistent characterization of Black Lives Matter being essentially the same as Antifa: A Marxist/Anarchist terrorist organization funded by Soros-backed front groups whose goal is the destruction of America.

Black Lives Matter is not, as the corrupt news media continues to contend, any sort of social justice or civil rights organization. You don’t have to take my word for it – all you have to do is visit the group’s website and read its goals and objectives. It is a Marxist-run terrorist organization, period.

If you don’t believe BLM’s own website and public statements by its leaders bragging about how they are all “trained Marxists,” how about Jason Whitlock?

As he noted on Twitter the other day, Mr. Whitlock – a highly-regarded sports writer and sports-TV personality – has been Black since the day he was born. He also has a long and public history of being completely down with the real goals of real social justice and civil rights groups in America.

Whitlock appeared on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News program last night and echoed my assessment of BLM to a T. In the process he also excoriated the NFL owners and Commissioner Roger Goodell as cowards who are sucking up to a bunch of Marxists. It was epic.

Here is a clip of the interview – Whitlock comes on at about the 1:40 mark:

Here are some of Whitlock’s statements:

Asked about the NFL’s lack of leadership, Whitlock said:

“I see a lack of leadership. A failure of men. This goes against every value that exemplifies America. The NFL has built itself on unity and there is no way you can do any research on the Black Lives Matter Movement and not see it’s a Marxist movement.”

Tucker asked Whitlock where is NFL commissioner Roger Goodell during this mess?

“Under his desk like a coward. Abandoning those in America that enriched him by doing nothing to back them up. A complete failure of leadership that has men and women falling in cowardice.”

About Black Lives Matter, Whitlock said it is a “Marxist political organization” that does not stand for “Black death nor Black men.”

“It is a political movement. It is a Communist political movement. … I’ve seen many of these guys [NFL owners], they claim they’re in Christianity and their religious beliefs, do they understand Black Lives Matter, Communism, Marxism, is anti-religious? This is a historic failure of men and leadership. This is cowardice at its highest level, this is the NFL jumping the shark and saying we quit being who we said we are. We’re now something else because our money is on the line and we don’t stand for the values we said we stood for.”

[End]

Now, I suppose Whitlock will inevitably become the target of the Perpetual Outrage crowd on Twitter, which leads the cancel culture there. Because there is nothing those on the political left in America hate and fear more than a Black man telling the truth.

Just ask Clarence Thomas and Tim Scott.

Black Lives Matter is essentially the same as Antifa: A Marxist/Anarchist domestic terrorist group. You don’t have to take my word for it anymore.

That is all.

Tucker Carlson: Why Won’t Republicans Investigate Big Tech Monopolies?

Reuters reported this morning that the Department of Justice will propose legislation that would remove exemptions from anti-trust laws enjoyed by big tech firms like Google and Facebook, after Google was revealed yesterday to be engaging in very clear anti-trust behavior in its efforts to de-platform two conservative news sites.

From the Reuters piece:

The U.S. Justice Department will propose legislation as soon as Wednesday to try to remove protections that big tech platforms like Alphabet’s (GOOGL.O) Google and Facebook (FB.O) have had for decades, a department official said on Wednesday, speaking on condition of anonymity.

President Donald Trump, who has battled Twitter (TWTR.N) and other tech companies over alleged censorship of conservative voices on social media platforms, said in late May he would propose legislation that may scrap or weaken the law shielding internet companies, in an extraordinary attempt to regulate the outlets where he has been criticized.

Trump wants to “remove or change” a provision of a law known as Section 230. Under the 1996 Communications Decency Act, Section 230 does not generally hold platforms responsible for what their users post and allows them to moderate the content of their sites as they see fit.

The Justice Department plans to make a legislative proposal that Congress would have to pass, according to the Wall Street Journal, which first reported the proposal.

[End]

Ok, that’s great, and it’s nice to see William Barr getting off his butt and doing something about this. Too bad the same cannot be said about the useless GOP caucus in either house of congress.

I linked to this Tucker Carlson monologue in this morning’s News Roundup, but after watching it again and reading the transcript, it merits more attention.

This is a monologue everyone needs to see and digest, especially Carlson’s points about the utter lack of concern about the clearly monopolistic and aggressive restraint of trade behaviors in which Google and some of the other tech giants are engaging in their zeal to silence conservative points of view in our country.

Carlson focuses in particularly on Utah Sen. Mike Lee, the ex-libertarian, open borders-supporting senator who mainly represents the U.S. Chamber of Commerce these days. No one should be surprised that a wholly-owned subsidiary of big corporations like Lee – who sadly chairs the Senate Antitrust Committee – is a complete sellout on this issue, just as he is a complete sellout on border security. But what comes as a somewhat bigger surprise if you haven’t been paying attention is that Georgia Congressman Doug Collins, who is running for the Senate right now, has been every bit as inactive in his role as ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, which would also have jurisdiction over this matter.

Below is the clip of the monologue, followed by a transcript of Carlson’s comments targeting Lee, Collins and other do-nothing congressional Republicans. On this as in so many other issues, you will see that the GOP congressional caucus remains utterly and completely worthless.

Partial Transcript:

All of this raises an interesting question, though. Google says it now holds conservative websites responsible for the comments of their readers. And yet, irony of ironies, thanks to a special carve-out Google has received from the United States Congress — something called Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, remember that — Google itself is not responsible for content on its platform because the Congress says it doesn’t have to be.

So, if you’re slandered by someone, for example, and that slander passes through Google servers, you cannot sue Google over it. Google is immune from the consequences. Immunity is a very nice thing to have if you’re a big company. Fox News doesn’t have it.

But again, thanks to Congress, Google does have immunity, and that’s one of the main reasons that Google’s founders are some of the richest and most powerful people in the world. Because Congress allowed them to be.

Sen. Josh Hawley has pointed this out. Let’s hope he and his colleagues act soon to revoke this privilege. If Google will not extend 230 protections to others, Google should not enjoy those protections itself, obviously.

Google should have faced these consequences a long time ago. Congress should have done this years ago. It’s been clear for a very long time that the Big Tech monopolies have now surpassed the federal government as the chief threat to our liberties.

Tucker Carlson, 2017: Google is the most powerful company in the history of the world. It’s the portal through which the bulk of our information flows. That means that if Google isn’t on the level, neither is our understanding of the world. To an unprecedented extent, Google controls reality.

Now, Google has already shown a disturbing willingness to distort reality for ideological ends.

And now it is happening. Google is acting directly to shape what people can say and what they’re allowed to speak. It’s a direct effort to stifle free speech. All of that is even truer today.

So why hasn’t the Congress done anything about this? Well, we’d love to ask Sen. Mike Lee of Utah. We invited him on the show. He would not come. We’ve invited him before, he would not come then.

Why do we ask him? Because Lee chairs the Senate Antitrust Subcommittee. He is the man who could do something to protect you from Google, but Lee has not bothered to do that. Instead, Mike Lee repeatedly has taken the side of the Big Tech companies over your constitutional rights — the constitutional rights Mike Lee is sworn to uphold and protect but refuses to.

So, the question is, why is Mike Lee still sitting in the United States Senate? He should not be in the Senate, that is for sure. We are hoping Mike Lee is soundly defeated in his next primary by someone who cares about the Constitution and more to the point, about protecting Americans from the actual threats they face. We are fervently rooting for that day. We will celebrate it when it happens. We trust it will.

So, how about House Republicans? Well, this spring, Congressman Doug Collins, the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, and Jim Sensenbrenner, the ranking member of the Antitrust Subcommittee, released a letter defending Google and the other tech monopolies from scrutiny. They attacked any investigation of the tech companies that might have “preconceived conclusions that large tech companies are inherently bad or must be broken up.”

They actually wrote that. Who is paying these guys? And more to the point, whose side are they on? Again, let us hope for a vigorous primary challenge to these two and any who share this view.

Year in and year out, we vote for these people in the fervent hope they will stand up for us when it matters. Now it matters. And now, like every time before, they sell us out.

Time is up. Seriously, it is too much. The stakes are too high. We need better leadership. We need someone to protect us. Nobody is.

[End]

The apparent insanity involved here, of course, is that these supposedly “conservative” Republicans refuse to lift a finger to protect the constitutional rights of alternative media outlets that strive against the rank hostility from these social media giants and the mainstream news media to support the policies that the GOP supposedly hold dear.

The only logical assumption to make about that, given the facts on the ground, is that Republicans in congress really don’t care much about those policy positions at all. Thus, getting anything done will be left up entirely to President Trump and Attorney General Barr.

That is all.

Wednesday News Roundup: Google Monopoly, CHOP Follies, Bolton Sued and More

Tired of all this #WINNING yet? – The markets boomed on Tuesday, with the Dow shooting up by more than 500 points and the NASDAQ approaching 10,000 again at the close. The news that retail sales for May had rocketed up by an all-time record 17.7% (as opposed to an “expert” projection of 8%) provided the main impetus for yesterday’s gains, Democrat/Media panic porn over the coronavirus notwithstanding.

Futures point to a higher opening again today, as the markets continue to try to climb back from their big losses of last Thursday.

In case you missed it… – Comcast/NBC News and Google conspired yesterday to de-platform two conservative news sites, The Federalist and ZeroHedge, in about the clearest example of monopolistic behavior one could ever witness. You can read all about it at yesterday’s Evening Campaign Update.

In his opening monologue last night, Tucker Carlson discussed the obvious dangers of the Department of Justice and Congress sitting by and doing nothing as one company – Google – controls more than 70% of all online advertising cash flow:

It is beyond any question that Google today is exactly what Standard Oil was 120 years ago: A blatant monopoly that engages in restraint of trade and other unfair business practices against its competitors and others – like The Federalist and ZeroHedge – that it does not approve of. If the federal government cannot summon the integrity and political will to properly regulate and break up Google – just as it did with AT&T in the 1980s and 1990s – then congress should just repeal the anti-trust laws and drop all pretense of the existence of a fair and competitive marketplace.

It’s a start. – As expected, President Donald Trump signed an executive order on policing reforms at a White House ceremony on Tuesday.

Axios provides a succinct summary of the Order’s main provisions:

The big picture: Under the order, police departments that meet certain standards, outlined by the Justice Department, on use of force will be given access to federal grants, a senior administration official said on a call with reporters on Monday.

  • Departments must ban the use of chokeholds to receive such certification, unless an officer is targeted by deadly force.
  • The order also moves to create a national registry to track police officers with multiple instances of the use of excessive force.
  • The order also includes new programs that would help law enforcement officials better deal with mental illness, homelessness, and addiction — including encouraging departments to involve mental health professionals and social workers to work alongside officers in the field.

Worth noting: The order does not address larger concerns about systemic racism and racial profiling in law enforcement.

  • “I strongly oppose the radical and dangerous efforts to defund, dismantle and dissolve our police departments. … Americans know the truth: Without police, there is chaos. Without law, there is anarchy,” Trump said.

Democrats naturally were entirely negative about the order, refusing to give the President any credit for all the many actions he has taken during his presidency to improve lives in Black communities around the country. A great example came when Bret Baier interviewed South Carolina Cong. James Clyburn on his show last night. Watch as Clyburn lies through his teeth in order to avoid saying anything positive about the President or this EO:

Such despicable people.

From our “You Just Cannot Make This Stuff Up” files…. – Rather than enforcing the law over the multiple obvious felonies that have been committed by the radical Antifa activists who created it, the City of Seattle’s government continues to treat the CHOP as if it is a legitimate autonomous country and is now even negotiating deals with those same activists.

Yesterday, the City went to great expense to remove the graffiti-smeared temporary barriers to entry and egress the activists had set up, replacing them with costly concrete barriers designed to ensure no vehicles can enter the area:

Is the 'CHOP' here to stay? City adds concrete barriers to ...

I guess the city’s despicable Mayor and city council members look at this as a civic beautification project. in exchange for the fancy new barriers, the Antifa activists agreed to reduce the size of their stolen territory from 6 square city blocks to 3, but the remaining territory still encompasses the Seattle PD’s 3rd Precinct building.

Pathetic.

Just for fun, Tucker Carlson gave his viewers a look at life inside the CHOP on his show last night. It is exactly what you would expect when a bunch of 20-something nerds who have never had a productive moment in their lives take charge:

DOJ sues John Bolton, aka, Trump’s Biggest Mistake. – Former National Security Advisor John Bolton is back in the news, once again for bad reasons. The Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against the 1970s pornstache-sporting gadfly in an effort to block publication of his new tell-all gossip book because it very predictably contains classified information, which publisher Simon and Schuster refuses to remove.

From a report at Fox News:

The complaint argues that Bolton submitted his book, “The Room Where It Happened,” for publication without first getting permission from the government through the prepublication review process and that the book contains classified information.

The Justice Department wants the court to issue an order to Bolton “to notify his publisher that he was not authorized to disclose ‘The Room Where It Happened’ because he has not completed prepublication review and because it contains classified information” and for his publisher to delay the release of the book. The book is scheduled to hit shelves next week.

Bolton attorney Charles Cooper responded Tuesday night: “We are reviewing the government’s complaint, and will respond in due course.”

The Trump administration has long contended that a manuscript of Bolton’s memoir contained classified information, but that the way the material was woven into the narrative would make a traditional “scrub” impossible.

Sources told Fox News the classified information was “part and parcel” of the entire storyline.

[End]

So, here we see the DC Swamp/Deep State in action: John Bolton, a lifelong Swamp snake and ostensible Republican attempting to publish a book whose clear goal is to help the Democrats and their addled presumptive nominee, Joe Biden, win the 2020 elections.

We should also remember the fact that Bolton played a big role in helping Adam Schiff and San Fran Nan dummy up the false narrative they used to hold the country hostage for 6 months last fall and winter while they pushed their sham impeachment. Bolton is just Mitt Romney with a really bad haircut, stupid-looking mustache and ill-fitting suits.

That is all.

Another Tucker Carlson Opening Monologue Every American Should See

Tucker Carlson’s opening monologue last night was a brilliant exposition of the manner in which our nation’s leaders have used a public health emergency to subvert American democracy. If we don’t all wake up soon – including President Trump and his military leaders – the consequences could become too ingrained to be peacefully reversed.

This is a monologue every American needs to watch and read. Thus, I, your loyal servant, hereby provide the clip of the video, along with a painstakingly-compiled transcript for those of you who still prefer to read stuff.

Video Clip:

Transcript:

Millions of Americans remain subjected to unprecedented restrictions on their personal lives, their daily lives, their family lives. The coronavirus lockdowns continue in many places. You may not know that because it gets no publicity, but it’s true.

If you’re living under it, you definitely know. As a result of this, tens of millions of people are now unemployed. A huge number of them have no prospects of working again. Many thousands of small businesses are closed and will never reopen.

Many Americans have become dependent on drugs and alcohol, seen their marriages dissolved, become clinically depressed. Some of them have delayed their weddings. Others were banned by the government from burying their loved ones and funerals. Some Americans will die of cancer because they couldn’t get cancer screenings. Some unknown number have taken their own lives in despair. Others have flooded to the streets to riot because bottled up rage and frustration take many forms.

The cost of shutting down the United States and denying our citizens desperately needed contact with one another is hard to calculate, but the cost has been staggering. The people responsible for doing all this, they have no regrets about it.  “We faced a global calamity,” they say. “COVID-19 was the worst pandemic since the Spanish flu.”

That flu killed 50 million people.

“We had no choice. We did the right thing.” That’s what they’re telling us. Is it true? The answer to that question matters not just because the truth always matters, but because the credibility of our leaders is at stake here.

This is the biggest decision they made in our lifetimes. They were able to make it, they rule because we let them. Their power comes from us.

So the question now and always is, are they worthy of that power? That’s not a conversation they want to have. And right now, they don’t have to have that conversation because right now, all of us are distracted and mesmerized by the woke revolution underway outside. They created a separate country in Seattle. As we said, we will bring you the latest on that in just a minute.

But we think it’s worth taking a pause to assess whether or not they were, in fact, lying to us about the coronavirus and our response to it. The short answer is this: Yes, they were definitely lying.

As a matter of public health, conclusively, the lockdowns were not necessary. In fact, we can prove that and here’s the most powerful evidence — states that never locked down at all, states, where people were allowed to live like Americans and not cower in indoors alone, in the end, turned out no worse than did states that had mandatory quarantine, the states you probably live in.

The states that did lock down and were quick to reopen have not seen explosions of coronavirus cases. All of this is the opposite of what they said would happen with great confidence.

The media predicted mass death in places of Lake of the Ozark and Ocean City, Maryland — the place where the middle class dares to vacation. But those deaths never happened.

In the end, the Wuhan coronavirus turned out to be a dangerous disease but a manageable disease like so many others. Far more dangerous were the lockdowns themselves.

For example, in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Massachusetts — panicked and incompetent governors forced nursing homes to accept infected coronavirus patients. And as a result, many thousands died and they died needlessly. This is all a remarkable story but its going almost entirely uncovered.

The media would rather tell you why you need to hate your neighbor for the color of his skin. The media definitely don’t want to revisit what they were saying just a few weeks ago, whend they were acting as press agents for power-drunk Democratic politicians. Back then, news anchors were ordering you to stop asking questions and obey.

[Plays montage of CNN/MSNBC anchors lying about the Wuhan Virus]

Boy, that montage was the opposite of a Mensa meeting. Has that much dumbness been captured on tape, ever? The last clip you saw was from May 25. That was just over two weeks ago. “98,000 people are dead! How dare you leave your house?” If you don’t work in the media, you’re not essential.

But it didn’t take long for that message to change completely. In fact, it took precisely 5 days.

[Plays another montage of Don Lemon being an idiot, which he does quite well.]

Yeah, “don’t judge, this is how this country was started, by looting CVS and setting fire to Wendy’s. You took American history. You knew that!”

[Plays another montage of Chris Cuomo.]

One minute they were mass murderers for going outside. Now they are Sam Adams. They are patriots, they are American heroes.

If all of this seems like a pretty abrupt pivot, fret not. Rioting is not a health risk – as long as it helps the Democratic Party’s prospects in the November election, rioting will not spread the coronavirus.

Sounds implausible, but we can be certain of that because last week hundreds of self-described public health officials signed a letter saying something. They announced that the Black Lives Matter riots are a ‘vital contribution to public health.’ In effect, they’re an essential medical procedure.

But that doesn’t mean you get to go outside. You don’t. Thanks to coronavirus, you do not have the right to resume your life. And if you complain about that, it’s quote, “white nationalism.” That was a ‘professional’ conclusion.

Does a single American believe any of that? No, of course not. It is too stupid to even for CNN to repeat, so they mostly ignored it.

That’s an ominous side if you think about it. It means these people are done trying to convince you, even to fool you. They’re not making arguments, they are issuing decrees. They think they can. They no longer believe they need your consent to make big decisions to run the country. Once the authority stops trying to change your mind, even by deceit, it means they’ve decided to use force, and they have.

During the lockdowns, people whose loved ones died were not allowed to have funerals for them. Think about that; it’s hard to think of anything crueler, but it happened to a lot of people. They claimed it was necessary. It was not necessary, and we know that they because now that a man has died whose death is politically useful to Democratic Party, the authorities have given him three funerals and not a word about a health risk.

Or consider King County, Washington — that’s where Seattle is. Restaurants in King County are operating at just 25% capacity. That’s the law now. Nonessential businesses are allowed 15% capacity. The effect of that is an economic disaster. Most small businesses run on very small margins. They can’t survive for long, and many have failed.

What should they do? They should join Antifa, obviously, because in King County, Washington, Antifa can do whatever they want to do. They’ve taken an entire six-block section of downtown Seattle, and that’s fine with health authorities. There is no social distancing required. They are essential.

Are you getting the picture? Is this adding up to our message? Yeah, the message is:  you were played. We were all played, corrupt politicians scared us into giving up control over the most basic questions in our own lives. At the same time, they gave more power to their obedient followers like Antifa while keeping the rest of us trapped at home and censored online.

In other words, they used a public health emergency to subvert democracy and instill themselves as monarchs. How are they able to do this? The sad truth is they did it because we let them do it. We believed them, they are therefore we obeyed them. If there’s anything good to come out of this disaster, it’s that none of us will ever make that mistake again.

[End]

Take that all to heart, friends, because it is the plain, unvarnished truth.

That is all.

Ric Grenell Should Stay in the DNI Job a Little Longer

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Before we get into the main topic for this morning, we need to call this out. The San Antonio city council has been completely overrun with Marxists. From the Mayor all the way down to the lowliest rookies on that body, it is now all-consumed with Marxist thinkers.

On Thursday, that council unanimously passed a resolution that literally turns San Antonio citizens and law enforcement official into Orwellian thought police. Check it out:

“…all persons are encouraged to report any such antisemitic, discriminatory or racist incidents to the proper authorities for investigation”. Be good citizens, comrades: Report your family and neighbors for speaking objective truth.

The Wuhan Virus comes from China. It is LITERALLY a “Chinese virus.” That descriptor, along with Wuhan Virus, is the most accurate descriptor of what the virus actually is. And the Marxists on the San Antonio city council just made it a crime to speak that plain, objective truth.

If you think this kind of crap is just happening in places like Seattle and San Francisco, you are living in a dream world. It’s happening right in your back yard.

Today should be a very interesting day. – On Tucker Carlson’s program last night, Fox News reporter/anchor Ed Henry reported on a “tip” he had received indicating that Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell had hand-delivered a satchel filled with additional key documents to Attorney General William Barr on Thursday. The delivery came shortly after Grenell had forced Adam Schiff to release the long-withheld transcripts of 53 interviews conducted by the House Intelligence Committee during its 2017-18 Russia collusion investigation.

Ed Henry says Ric Grenell spotted carrying documents to William Barr (Fox News screengrab)

From a report at the Daily Caller:

“But breaking tonight, Schiff may be even more panicked right now because I am hearing from two sources familiar with this that as early as tomorrow, Rick Grenell, the acting Director of National Intelligence, is going to reveal even more documents shedding light on the Russia probe of President Trump and how Schiff and other investigators knew for a long time there was no collusion even though they kept saying they had direct evidence there was,” Henry said.

“What’s also new tonight, Fox is learning there is a second set of documents that Rick Grenell, who now has the job Clapper had, brought to the Attorney General William Barr today in a satchel,” Henry said as Fox News producers played a clip of Grenell presumably delivering the satchel.

[End]

Henry went on to say that he had been told that some of the contents of what is in those documents would be made public as soon as today. While that may seem improbable, what we appear to be learning is that Grenell’s involvement makes anything possible.

The pace of document releases and other revelations about the Obama-era conspiracy to fix the 2016 election and then to take down a duly-elected President has been quickening for several weeks now. Much of that is due to the decision by President Trump to fire former DNI Dan Coates, who was in the job to protect all the Obama flunkies, and ultimately replace him with Mr. Grenell.

Through his own force of will, Grenell is not only reforming the IC, he is also forcing Attorney General William Barr to move more quickly or be seen as a force of obstruction. As more and more of the documents that we know John Durham has been looking at for over a year now become public thanks mainly to Grenell’s efforts, pressure is also applied to Durham to get his job done more timely as well.

Senator Chuck Grassley, in an interview on Fox last night, said that he thinks that we will start seeing results in some form from Durham “in 2 or 3 months,” which would put it in the July/August time frame. Grenell does not appear to be interested in waiting around for that long, however, especially given that he stands to be replaced in the DNI job soon by nominee John Ratcliffe. So long as Grenell remains in that job, there is no reason to expect him to delay his actions to fit anyone else’s slower time frame.

All of this raises an interesting conundrum for President Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. While there is every reason to believe that Ratcliffe is one of the good guys in this ongoing drama, anyone coming into a position as pressured and intense as the DNI job is going to have a pretty steep learning curve, which means the passage of some time before he gets fully up and running. That learning period would present prime opportunity for the myriad career deep state skunks within the IC to undermine processes Grenell has put in place to ensure all of this information comes to light.

With the November elections looming just six months away, this is time the Administration does not have to spare. Given all of that, it might behoove the President to lean on McConnell to delay a full senate vote on Ratcliffe’s confirmation until Grenell has been able to force the critical mass of withheld information out into the light of day.

As “acting” DNI, Grenell is able to remain in the job for a six month period, which would terminate in mid-August. Given the stunning results he has produced in just three months on the job, it would be a good idea to leave him there for another three. No one in U.S. history has been as adept at strategically-delaying Senate action than Mitch McConnell.

While every person of good intent for the country is likely happy that Ratcliffe is now likely to be confirmed, the timing of his confirmation now appears to have risen to one of very high importance, thanks to the courage and sheer force of will shown by Ric Grenell.

That is all.

The Tucker Carlson Monologue Every American Should See

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II

I don’t have time to transcribe this entire Tucker Carlson monologue from last night, but wanted to be sure readers of the Campaign Update saw it, because it’s important.

The monologue is filled with facts demonstrating pretty clearly that stay-at-home policies have had little if any real impact on slowing the spread of this virus. These of course are facts that your government and corrupt news media are ignoring.

Here’s a link to the clip: Carlson Monologue

Here are some of the key quotes from it:

Carlson: The whims of our political leaders are no unquestioned law: Dissent has been banned, and that ban is relentlessly enforced by the willing stooges in our media, who have finally stopped pretending they don’t hate you. The definitely do.

What country is this? Well, It’s a country in a lockdown. We’re told we have no choice but to do this — to stop our lives completely. Mass quarantines, they tell us, are the only way to save lives. But that’s a lie.

They don’t know it’s true, despite what they’ve claimed. There’s no scientific record to consult. It’s never been done. We’re currently living through the largest and most expensive experiment ever conducted in human history. We’ve spent trillions of dollars, and crushed millions of people, purely on the guess that a nationwide lockdown would save us from the coronavirus. Has it worked? Was the guess correct?

Let’s look at the data: as of tonight, 8 US states have not issued shelter-in-place orders. The question is, have these states suffered for not locking down? And the answer is no, they haven’t, at least not yet. Currently, all 8 states are below the national average in coronavirus cases and deaths per capita. That’s not to say they’ve been immune to the virus. They haven’t been, but they definitely have not been hit harder than other states per capita.

Those states are smallers and less dense than some of the hardest-hit states. But you can adjust for this.

In a recent article, journalist and professor Wilfred Riley did the math on this. He performed statistical regressions that accounted for population density, income level, age and racial diversity. He put his formulas out there and challenged anyone to come to different conclusions – no one has so far.

He found that a state’s lockdown strategy had no effect on how severe its outbreak of Wuhan coronavirus actually was.

Are you surprised by this? Maybe you shouldn’t be. You can see the same trend at work in other countries. Sweden, most famously, has never locked down. Restaurants there have never closed. That country is still suffering from coronavirus, suffering more in fact than we are in the U.S. But the country’s epidemic appears to have peaked. And without locking down, Sweden has, and this is the key, has fared far better than other European countries that did lock down. That includes Britain, Italy, Spain and Belgium.”

How can this be true? It seems to contravene everything we hear all day long. ‘Lockdowns stop the virus.’ That’s what they tell us, almost always at high volume and with maximum outrage and self-righteousness daring us to disagree. But in fact, there’s not much evidence that it’s true.

A new study by researchers at USC tested large groups of people in Los Angeles County for the coronavirus antibodies. They found that as of early April up to 5.6% of the entire county had contracted the illness. That means up to 320,000 adults in Los Angeles had already had it. At the time, the official number of infected people was about 8,000.

City officials had no clue – they weren’t even close. The virus had spread throughout a huge population right in the middle of the most restrictive in American history. What does it tell you? It tells you the lockdown didn’t work.

Maybe forcing people to stay inside all day isn’t actually a good way to contain a virus. Whatever the reason why it failed, it did. Our leaders guessed wrong: They claimed that a lockdown would halt the spread of the virus. It did not do that, not even close, and they need to admit that.

And then we need to change our approach based on the science. Not on their whims, but on the numbers and what we have learned.

But we’re not doing that. Public officials are instead by and large ignoring any evidence that indicts their policies or that might threaten their new and much-loved power. The don’t want to know what the facts are.

Indeed, some are now promising even longer lockdowns, maybe through the end of the summer, and even tougher punishments for those who flout them. These are Americans!

This is insanity. It is definitely not science. This is not science. It has nothing to do with the public’s health, much less the broader public interest. This is instead what happens when mediocre people suddenly find themselves with God-like power: deciding who can go outside, when people can get married, which medical procedures you’re allowed to have.

That’s a feeling of omnipotence, and they like that feeling. It fills an empty place inside. They don’t want to give it up. They want it to last forever, even as the country dies. But it can’t last forever. Because it’s not their country. It’s ours.

[End]

Is it really our country, as Carlson states at the end? It’s up to all of us to ultimately decide.

That is all.

With Perfect Timing, Trump Signals That it is Time to Be America Again

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

This is how the loss of our liberties begins. – It begins not with the clatter of gunfire but with 300 million citizens timidly holed up in their homes watching TV 18 hours a day, hoping for permission from some unelected bureaucrats at the NIH and the CDC to go to the grocery store or maybe to see a doctor  to check out that disturbing mole on our back after putting it off for two months .

It begins not with tanks rolling into downtown Lansing, but with the power-mad Michigan Governor with the plastic face ordering you to keep your motor boat in the dock but giving you permission to use your kayak.

Ahoy, comrades!

It begins not with the sudden appearance of an armada of Chinese or Russian ships off the coasts of Santa Barbara and Charleston, but with the feckless Governor of New Jersey flippantly telling Tucker Carlson that he “wasn’t thinking about the Bill of Rights” when he made the decision to revoke the rights of every citizen of New Jersey to go to church, to peaceably assemble, and to even breathe the air in public parks.

He wasn’t thinking about the Bill of Rights?!? Just what in the hell does he think his job actually entails? Just for grins, I looked up the oath of office that must be recited by every newly-elected New Jersey governor. It reads as follows:

“I, , elected governor of the state of New Jersey, do solemnly promise and swear that I will diligently, faithfully and to the best of my knowledge, execute the said office in conformity with the powers delegated to me; and that I will to the utmost of my skill and ability, promote the peace and prosperity and maintain the lawful rights of the said state. So help me God.”

Exactly where does the New Jersey Governor think those “lawful rights of the said state” derive from? He apparently has not the slightest clue. He just issued the orders he issued because he decided he had the power to do it, and as long as he has the consent of law enforcement and of the governed people of his state, he apparently does, regardless of what the Bill of Rights might say.

It is interesting that we are now seeing various governors – most of them Democrats like those mentioned above – now forming up what they are calling “blue ribbon panels” to advise them about how to go about reopening the schools, churches and businesses in their states. I find it even more interesting that not a single one of these governors, Republican or Democrat, felt the need to assemble any similar panels in February and March to advise them on how to close those things down – and order people shut into their homes – in ways that might to some extent avoid trampling on the constitutional rights of their citizens.

Whether you agree or disagree with the tactics the state and federal governments have employed to combat the spread of this China-induced global plague, the utter lack of consideration of the basic, fundamental rights of the citizens that has been on display for the last two months has to be incredibly disturbing to you. Perhaps even more disturbing has been the manner in which 99% of the American public has so timidly accepted these draconian intrusions and deprivations with hardly a peep of protest.

I’ve never been much of a fan of street protests, but I have to admit I was actually gratified to see all those thousands of Michiganders exercising their rights to peaceably assemble in Lansing on Wednesday, gridlocking the downtown area around the state capitol in their cars while also observing the plastic-faced Governor’s social distancing edicts. The message they sent was ideal: Look, we’re willing to help you fight this virus, but your stupidity and thuggery needs to end, or you will soon lose the consent of the governed.

We see similar pockets of rising discontent now popping up in other states – like Virginia – whose governors have also gone overboard with their lusts to impose their will on the people. Virginia Gov. KKK Blackface Baby-Killer Northam thinks he can keep his citizens shut-in through mid-summer now. I suspect he will have another think coming pretty soon if he does not begin to relent.

All of which means that President Donald Trump’s timing in rolling out his Plan for Opening Up America Again on Thursday was just right. He has given the unelected bureaucrats their six weeks of shutting America down to try to “flatten the curve,” but is now signaling that that’s all the time they’re going to get, and it is now time to start systematically putting America back to work. It’s time to begin to reopen our restaurants and our theaters and our public parks again. It’s time to start getting our kids back into schools, to play some baseball and to fill our churches, cathedrals and synagogues again.

It isn’t just time to open America up again: It’s time to be America again.

Let’s roll.

That is all.

Why Senator Richard Burr May be in Deep Doo-doo

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Congress’s seamy underbelly floats up to the surface. – On his Fox News show last night, host Tucker Carlson lambasted Senator Richard Burr – chairman of the corrupt Senate Intelligence Committee – and demanded his resignation for off-loading millions of dollars in stock investments immediately after learning of the threat of the coronavirus.

Here’s a clip, followed by a transcript:

Transcript:

You may have seen the news reports this afternoon that the Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee sold more than a million dollars in stock in mid-February after learning how devastating the Chinese coronavirus could be. He had inside information about what could happen to our country – which is now happening – but he didn’t warn the public. He didn’t give a prime-time address. He didn’t go on television to sound the alarm.

He didn’t even disavow  the op/ed he’d written just 10 days before, claiming that America was “better prepared than ever for coronavirus.” He didn’t do any of those things. Instead, what did he do? He dumped his shares in hotel stocks so he wouldn’t lose money, and then he stayed silent.

Now, maybe there’s an honest explanation for what he did; if there is, he should share it with the rest of us immediately. Otherwise, he must resign from the Senate and face prosecution for insider trading. There is no greater moral crime than betraying your country in a time of crisis, and that appears to be what happened.

[End]

Now, that’s all great: I have long been a critic of Burr, a useless RINO who has used his chairmanship of the Senate Intel Committee to literally cover up crimes committed against the Trump Campaign and Administration by the Obama-era coup cabal within the DOJ and the Intelligence Community. If he did engage in insider trading then he should resign and be prosecuted.

But let’s be honest here: If you think Burr is the only member of congress who has engaged in this kind of action over the past couple of months, you live in a fairy tale world.

The New York Times ran a report yesterday documenting similar actions by several other senators, including Kelly Loeffler (R-GA), Jim Inhofe (R-OK) and Dianne Feinstein (D-CA). That report is based on financial disclosure statements that members of congress must periodically file. Members are regularly tardy in filing these disclosures, and you can bet the shrinking balance in your 401(k) that we will soon discover that many more members did the same thing.

Some members, when they assume office, shield themselves from this kind of accusation by placing such investments in blind trusts, giving them the plausible deniability of saying that they take no active part in managing their investments. Inhofe, Feinstein and Loeffler all claim that is the case with their investments.

Interestingly, no one from Sen. Burr’s office has made a similar claim at this point. Here’s the statement his spokesperson put out yesterday evening:

“His message has always been, and continues to be, that we must be prepared to protect American lives in the event of a pandemic or bio-attack,” Caitlin Carroll, a spokeswoman for Mr. Burr, said in a statement. “Since early February, whether in constituent meetings or open hearings, he has worked to educate the public about the tools and resources our government has to confront the spread of coronavirus.”

Burr himself took to Twitter to issue a series of tweets about an NPR report covering a speech he made to a group of constituents in February, warning them of the potential impacts of coronavirus on the U.S. economy. Nowhere in those tweets does he attempt to defend his stock divestments.

If Burr does play an active role in managing his own trading, then this is a real problem for him, and helps to explain why Carlson went after him last night, but gave the others a pass.

That is all.

Watch: Stanford Med School Spokesman Announces Peer-Reviewed China Virus Cure [Updated]

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Why is this not bigger news? – Gregory Rigano, an advisor to the Stanford School of Medicine, told Tucker Carlson on Fox New last night that French scientists have released a peer-reviewed study indicating that a very cheap anti-Malaria drug called chloroquine produced a 100% cure to the Chinese coronavirus in a test involving 40 patients.

Watch this clip, followed by a transcript:

Carlson: Fortunately there is some good news to report on that front tonight. Early evidence suggests that chloroquine, a cheap anti-Malaria drug, may be effective in treating coronavirus. Gregory Rigano is an advisor to the Stanford School of Medicine, and he joins us tonight. Thanks so much for coming on. So, tell us what this is and why you think it’s promising.

Rigano: The President has the authority to authorize the use of hydroxy chloroquine against the coronavirus immediately. He has cut more red tape at the FDA than any President in history. For example, in 2017, a new drug was approved for Muscular Dystrophy for a clinical trial that enrolled less than 15 patients and was generally uncontrolled in an open setting.

Hydroxy chloroquine has been on the market for over 50 years with a quality safety profile. I’m here to report that, as of this morning, a well-controlled, peer-reviewed study carried out by the most imminent infectious disease specialist in the world, Didier Raoult, PhD, out of the South of France, in which he enrolled 40 patients in a well-controlled, peer-reviewed study that showed a 100% cure rate against coronavirus.

The study was released this morning on my Twitter account, @RiganoESQ, as well as our most recent website, COVIDTrial.io. The study was recently accepted into the International Journal of anti-microbial agents.

Carlson: Obviously, I only know what you’re telling me. But I do know that it’s very unusual for a study of anything to produce results of 100%. That’s remarkable, isn’t it? Or am I missing something?

Rigano: That is remarkable. In fact, to be able to cure a virus was said to be mathematically impossible, and the first company that did it was a small biotech called Pharmacet that was acquired by Gilead Sciences. They cured Hepatitis C. What we’re here to announce is the second cure to a virus of all time.

Carlson: Well, that’s remarkable. Of course, it’s our job to be skeptical of all and any claims; however, I very much want to believe this and I think we very much need immediately to run it down. The administration needs to find out if this is true. If the, if it is, that’s the biggest news of this moment. So, I’m so grateful that you announced that on this show, and I hope we are hearing a lot about it very soon.

[End]

Rigano’s statement speaks for itself. As mentioned above, the study results can be found at this link.

Interestingly, as I was typing this up, Dr. Mark Seigel appeared on Fox Business with Stuart Varney and noted that other clinical trials taking place in South Korea and other Asian countries are producing similar results to Dr. Raoult’s work.

Folks, if this turns out to be a real, true cure, you can count on President Donald Trump to cut through all the FDA bureaucratic job-preservation bullshit and make certification for the use of this drug quickly available to the American medical community, and use federal resources to work to ensure it is available in the needed quantities. Be happy he’s your President, because any Democrat would fart around with it based on the advice coming from his experts for a year before it would come available.

Pray this is real – it could save literally millions of lives.

UPDATE: The UK Daily Express carried a report yesterday on the South Korea tests using chloroquine:

Published on March 13 this year, the study claims to examine guidelines issued by China and South Korea on the effectiveness of chloroquine as an antiviral remedy.

Chloroquine is a medicine used to prevent and treat malaria in those parts of the world where the mosquito-carried disease is a danger to life.

Mr Musk said he received the drug when he suffered from malaria.

He tweeted: “Yes, I received chloroquine via central line through my chest & both arms.

“Had near fatal case of falciparum. Would’ve died for sure if not for chloroquine.

“Doesn’t mean it works for C19, but maybe better than nothing.”

The drug has been in use around the globe since 1945.

A summary of the study reads: “Recent guidelines from South Korea and China report that chloroquine is an effective antiviral therapeutic treatment against Coronavirus Disease 2019.

Use of chloroquine (tablets) is showing favourable outcomes in humans infected with Coronavirus including faster time to recovery and shorter hospital stay.

Maybe worth considering chloroquine for C19

Elon Musk on Twitter

“US CDC research shows that chloroquine also has strong potential as a prophylactic (preventative) measure against coronavirus in the lab, while we wait for a vaccine to be developed.”

Tucker Carlson Carpet Bombs the China-Apologist News Media

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Watch this and remember it, because it is absolute truth, and the Democrats and media will ultimately pay a price for it. – In his opening monologue last night, Fox News host Tucker Carlson delivered a brilliant expose’ of how our corrupt news media and leading Democrat politicians are conspiring with China’s propagandists to smear our own country as the “source” of the coronavirus. Below is a clip of the monologue, followed by a transcript.

First, the clip:

Here’s The Transcript:

Carlson: As the death toll rises it is important to never forget how we got here. This pandemic came out of China, and it came out of China for a reason. That is a country with poor health practices; it’s a country where government officials covered up the early impacts of the virus, when it could have been stopped, before it spread out of control.

In fact, the outbreak may have begun not in a public meat market, but in a poorly-run Chinese laboratory. Now, that is not our ‘theory’; anyone who raises that theory on American television is attacked as a ‘conspiracy monger.’  But this is a theory from a now-censored Chinese paper.

A draft paper posted in mid-February, scientists at the South China University of Technology suggested that the coronavirus outbreak began at the Wuhan Center for disease Control, where an animal may have infected a researcher, who then spread the disease outside the facility. The paper is explicit about this – we’re going to quote it: “The killer coronavirus probably originated from a laboratory in Wuhan.”

Now, we have no idea if that’s actually true; but again, those were Chinese researchers making an evidence-based argument about the origin of this virus. That paper has been taken down, no explanation has been offered for that, but you can guess.

Instead, China, the same country that controls 96% of the antibiotics we use in this nation; the same country that has been warning to cut off drug exports to the U.S. to kill Americans; is now trying to hide the reality of where coronavirus came from. In fact, they’re doing worse than that. The communist party of China is trying to blame the virus on America.

Lijian Xhao is a spokesman for China’s foreign ministry. A week ago, Xhao attacked anyone who dared to link the virus to China:

Xhao: “Certain media say that this coronavirus is a China virus. This is extremely irresponsible and we firmly oppose that. We are still tracing the origin of the virus and there is no conclusion yet.”

Carlson: That was last week. Xhao has evolved since then. Today on Twitter, he accused the U.S. of creating the virus: “When did patient zero begin in U.S.? How many people are infected? What are the names of the hospitals? It might  be U.S. Army that brought the epidemic to Wuhan. Be transparent, make public your data. U.S. owes us an explanation!”

Keep in mind, these are the people, the Chinese leadership, that our media class has allied with, has sucked up to for years, has made every excuse for, endlessly. Even when China blamed the United States for a plague they unleashed. Even when the Chinese government threatened to murder our citizens by threatening to cut off drugs, our media continued to take their side. Watch this.

Jim Acosta: “The President referred to coronavirus as a, quote, ‘foreign virus.’ And I think it’s going to smack, uhhhhh, it’s going to come across to a lot of Americans as smacking of, uh, um, xenophobia.”

Carlson: That was CNN’s Jim Acosta, a poisonous moron. Amazingly, though, it was just two months ago – and we keep track – that Acosta was sending tweets himself about the ‘Wuhan coronavirus.’ He hadn’t yet received his orders from Jeff Zucker, who receives his orders from China, so that was ok.

But now, the word is out: They must protect China at all costs. Even presidential candidates are playing along – watch this.

Joe Biden: “Down-playing it; being overly-dismissive; or spreading misinformation is only going to hurt us and further advantage the spread of the disease. But neither should we panic, or fall back on xenophobia, labeling cova-19 [huh?] a foreign virus does not displace accountability for the misjudgments that have been taken thus far by the Trump administration.”

Carlson: So it’s our fault. Just to be clear, describing a virus from Wuhan as the ‘Wuhan virus’ is not xenophobia: It’s accuracy. And anyone who says otherwise is lying, and probably for a reason.

[End Transcript]

Now, there is no question that corrupt media outlets like CNN – a subsidiary of AT&T – are utterly corrupted by Chinese money. China has invested heavily in U.S. media outlets over the last 20 years, and uses its positions in those corporations to influence media coverage. Carlson is absolutely correct that Jeff Zucker takes his orders from China, and that flows right down into the on-air hacks like Acosta.

And CNN is far from alone in this situation. All of the major networks and most major newspapers are similarly influenced by Chinese corruption. So are many of our country’s top politicians, like Quid Pro Joe Biden, who made more money selling his influence to China while serving as VP than he did from Ukraine.

As Carlson points out, that money flow from China to our media and corrupt politicians explains why they are all eagerly lining up to blame not China, but America, for the origination of this virus.

Despicable people, plain and simple.

That is all.

Tucker Carlson Makes Some Good, and not-so-Good Points on Iran

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Just to be clear, one of the main reasons why I supported Donald Trump for the presidency in 2016 was his promise to scale down the U.S. military presence in the Middle East and end our military intervention in the no fewer than 8 regional conflicts in which his predecessors in office had the U.S. involved.

The President has by and large kept that promise, slowly but surely scaling down our country’s involvement in hellholes like Syria and Afghanistan. At the same time, he has largely avoided the siren song from his neocon and Obama holdover advisers to involve the U.S. military directly in additional conflicts in the region.

As a result, I’m generally in agreement with Fox prime time host Tucker Carlson’s position on international affairs. Carlson is a down-the-line non-interventionist, and that’s generally a good thing. He also spends a lot of time hilariously mocking neocon, never-Trump nitwits like Max Boot and Bill Kristol, which is another definite badge of honor on his chest.

But last night, Carlson went a bit over the line, comparing the U.S. killing of Iranian terrorist leader Qassem Soleimani to a situation in which Iran were to kill America’s chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, calling it an “act of war.” Well, it was an act of war, given that Soleimani was a leader of warriors who was killed as he was actively planning more attacks on American lives. That’s why he was killed – because he has been at war with the United States and our people throughout his entire adult life.

But the analogy Carlson draws here is not apt, because it legitimizes Soleimani and his actions. Soleimani was a terrorist, not a legitimate military leader – if we cannot draw that distinction, then we should just give up the idea of civilization in general. That having been said, Carlson did make some fine points about the neverending war lobby that is constituted and led by nitwits like Boot and Kristol and John Bolton:

“‘Threats in the region,’” he said, mimicking Mike Pompeo’s statement of the reason why Soleimani was taken out. “If you don’t live in Washington, here’s the translation. That would be in hostile middle eastern countries, places where American troops would never be in the first place, were it not for the insistent demands of non-geniuses like Max Boot and John Bolton. But never mind. No one in Washington is in the mood for big-picture questions right now, questions, the obvious ones, like: Is Iran really the greatest threat we face? And: who’s actually benefiting from this? And: why are we continuing to ignore the decline of our own country in favor of jumping into another quagmire, from which there’s no obvious exit? By the way, if we’re still in Afghanistan 19 sad years later, what makes us think there’s a quick way out of Iran?”

He continued, “Before we enter into a single new war, there’s a criterion that ought to be met. Our leaders should explain to us how that conflict will make the United States richer and more secure,” Carlson contended. “There are an awful lot of bad people in this world. We can’t kill them all. It’s not our job. Instead, our government exists to defend and promote the interests of American citizens. Period. That’s why we have a government. So, how has the killing of Soleimani done that? Maybe. No one in Washington has explained how.”

Those are all excellent points that thinking Americans – and President Trump – should keep in mind. The people in Washington DC agitating for outright war with Iran today are the very same people who got us into all these interminable quagmires in that region in the first place. They should be shunned and ignored.

But Carlson does miss the crucial point that made the retaliation against Soleimani and Iran an imperative in this case: Soleimani had just organized and led an effort to storm the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad. Hundreds of American lives were jeopardized in the process. That is why Soleimani was in Baghdad in the first place.

As Carlson rightly says, we can’t kill all the bad people in the world. However, we can and must kill terrorist leaders like Soleimani when the opportunity presents itself, in order to prevent their taking more American lives in the future.

As I pointed out on Thursday, our diplomatic embassies are U.S. soil, and must be defended as we would defend our homeland. The failure by the Obama White House and Pentagon to do that in Benghazi got four Americans killed by a mob similar to what we saw in Baghdad this week.

Carlson is correct to warn against being drawn into a larger, general war with Iran. That is a war we could “win” in about a week, but would then end up spending trillions of U.S. dollars and untold numbers of U.S. lives in the years to come trying to rebuild that country and keep the illusional “peace,” as we have done over the last 18 years in Afghanistan and 17 years in Iraq.

But he is wrong to condemn the killing of Soleimani: That act was not only absolutely justified, but entirely necessary. God Bless President Trump for having the wisdom to authorize it.

That is all.

Bombshell: Tucker Carlson Details DC Swamp Syria False Flag

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Tired of all this #WINNING yet? Are you kidding? – For the third time in the last six days of trading, all three major stock indexes – the Dow, the NASDAQ and the S&P 500 – closed at record highs on Monday. You may or may not care for President Donald Trump, but your 401(k) loves him and his economy.

Tucker Carlson was trending on Twitter when I got up and began my daily news search this morning, so I decided to check out why. What I found was a bombshell report that the Deep State toadies in our fake news media will studiously ignore. It’s a story about how the warmonger lobby in Washington DC almost led our country into a completely unjustified escalation in Syria in April of last year, and how President Donald Trump barely avoided being railroaded into it. Here is a clip of that segment, followed by a transcript:

For all of you who, like me, still like to read stuff, here’s a transcript of Tucker’s remarks:

In spite of repeated efforts to get them out, American troops remain deployed in parts of Syria. If Washington has its way, they will be there until you are old, or even longer. Forever.

But it could be worse. 19 months ago, Washington was demanding that the U.S. government topple the Assad government completely, must do it now. The justification for this was a supposed chemical weapons attack in the town of Duma. Now, no one in Washington had seen the attack. No American had seen it, nobody in congress could tell you what proof existed that the attack had actually taken place, or that Assad’s government was behind it, rather than some other faction – and there were many – involved in the country’s civil war.

But it didn’t matter that there was literally no evidence: Everybody in Washington began agitating for regime change war immediately. Immediately, and especially on the left. Bill Kristol and Max Boot and everyone at MSNBC and CNN – they were completely for it. This show was not for it. We didn’t deny the attack happened, we just told people to be skeptical.

[Plays clip from April 9, 2018]

Universal, bi-partisan agreement on anything is usually the first sign that something deeply unwise is about to happen, if only because there is nobody left to ask skeptical questions. And we should be skeptical of this, starting with the poison gas attack. All the geniuses tell us that Assad killed those children, but do they really know that?

Of course they don’t really know that – they’re making it up. They have no real idea what happened. And now the same people who brought you the dying American middle class, undefended American borders and endless, pointless wars you in countries you could not find on a map are telling the President he’s got to depose Assad for reasons that are both unclear and demonstrably dishonest.

[End clip]

You’ve gotta depose Assad immediately. Wait a second, how did it work when we deposed the last four Arab leaders? And wait a second: Didn’t the Assad government, as evil as it may be, protect all the Christians?

Shut up, they said. You’ve gotta do it now!

Well, fortunately President Trump limited his response to another wave of missile strikes rather than sending U.S. troops in to topple yet another government in the region. But now, it looks like even that response may have not been justified.

Last Spring, the official report of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, which is the group that monitors chemical weapons, said the Duma attack was caused by two chlorine gas canisters that were dropped from an airplane. That would suggest the Assad government was responsible for the attack. Ok.

But then last May, a leaked internal document showed that one of the OPCW’s top analysts disagreed with that conclusion. He thought the canisters were placed by hand, by someone on the ground. Which would make this a completely different event.

This week, WikiLeaks is publishing an email from a member of the OPCW’s fact finding team. That email accuses the organization of altering investigators’ original findings to make evidence of an attack look more conclusive than it actually was.

[Here is a link to the WikiLeaks OPCW Document in question.]

Sound familiar? Yeah, we’ve seen this movie before, with tragic consequences.

Yet another OPCW whistleblower has argued that on-the-ground evidence points against an attack happening at all.

So, in other words, America almost attacked another country, which would have killed untold thousands of people, over an “attack” that may never have happened in the first place. That powerful people may very well be lying about.

Under a different president – and whatever you think of Trump, this is true – under a different president, say, Hillary Clinton, being advised by the Obama foreign policy team – Samantha Power, and a lot of people like Samantha Power with long track records of unwise and indeed stupid decision making – under that administration we probably would have invaded.

[Segment turns to interview with Jonathan Steele, a chief foreign policy correspondent with The Guardian. It repeats the points Tucker just made.]

[End of transcript.]

This is a big deal. This is real news – news of a clear false flag effort by elements in the DC Swamp warmonger lobby to trick a United States president into launching yet another full-scale regime change war in yet another Middle Eastern nation.

Because it is real news, news that reveals even more of Washington’s corrupt establishment, it will be ignored by the mainstream media, since they pretty much all serve as the megaphones for the DC Swamp.

Be glad Donald Trump was your President last April and remains in office today. Because if he wasn’t, we’d have had another steady stream of young American men and women returning home from another God-forsaken Middle Eastern country in body bags for no reason whatsoever over the last 19 months, and no end in sight.

This, in fact, is why Donald Trump was elected in the first place. God bless him and keep him safe.

Beto O’Rourke Finally Ends His Disgraceful Campaign

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

With any luck at all, this will be the last time the Campaign Update ever pens a word about the Texas charlatan, Irish Bob O’Rourke, or, as we love to call him around our house, el Pendejo Grande. His friends  call him “Beto,” but as the new USA Today/Suffolk poll released on Friday clearly shows, Irish Bob’s “friends” have all gone away now.

O’Rourke came in at ZERO in that poll, after the last handful of fawning fake journalists at Vanity Fair and the Houston Chronicle finally turned their amorous eyes towards Preacher Pete Buttigieg, and it seems that may have been the final straw. At about 4:30 Central Time Friday afternoon, the gesticulating furry from El Paso finally did what anyone paying any real attention has known was the inevitable conclusion to his absurdly incompetent campaign, and called it quits. Hilariously, this is what he said in the tweet that ended it all:

The best part of that is the whole “acting decisively” nonsense. As the Campaign Update pointed out waaaaayyyyy back in February, Irish Bob essentially killed any chance he had of becoming the 2020 Democrat nominee by indecisively farting around for three solid months before finally announcing his candidacy. A truly decisive person would have acted within a week after his fairly close loss to Ted Cruz in the 2018 senate race.

The day after that election loss, Irish Bob O’Rourke was the “precious Beto” to every fake journalist in the Texas and national news media. Sure, he was a looooooooser, but he was their loser, and he was handsome and cute and furry and fluffy and cursed a lot and kind of sort of looked more like a Kennedy than the current crop of actual Kennedys do. Plus, he could ride a skateboard and livestream his dental appointments and play a guitar and used to do a lot of drugs and had a police record and lied as easily and convincingly as Bill Clinton.

What more could a fake reporter and demented Democrat voter ask for in a candidate?

From early November 2018 through early January, every feature writer at every fake newspaper and magazine in the country longed to grab their date with their precious Beto so they could write their fawning, 4,000 word features using words like “Kennedyesque,” “rural,” “dusty,” and “border town.” New Yorkers and even Austinites at the Texas Tribune rarely get such opportunities, after all. I mean, you can’t  use any of those words to describe Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders, for crying out loud.

But precious Beto just couldn’t make up his damn mind. He fooled around for three solid months, at one point basically disappearing from view for a couple of weeks while he supposedly drove around aimlessly trying to “find” himself.  Meanwhile, all of those prospective journalist and leftwing activist dates to the presidential primary prom got irritated with their indecisive beau and started looking around for other cute, date-able prospects like Preacher Pete and Corey Booker and that oh-so-handsome Bill DeBlasio.

By the time Irish Bob finally got around to formally announcing his campaign, his campaign was essentially over. His entire political reason for being had been built around constant, fawning free media coverage from all of those fake media outlets, and they’d all moved on to find more reliable dates who could be relied on to actually show up on time and competently dance the political cha-cha with them.

In the end, O’Rourke became so desperate to recapture the fake media magic that had led him to become a close loooooser in 2018 that he ended up running one of the most despicably craven, utterly failed campaigns in American history. When a tragic mass shooting took place in his home town of El Paso in August, O’Rourke chose to use it not as a chance to show leadership within his community, but as a prop for some of the most disgusting racial rhetoric in U.S. history.

He used that tragedy as a prop to accuse the President of the United States and anyone who supports him of being “white supremacists,” he used it as a prop to run around the country talking about implementing a Nazi-like gun confiscation program complete with jack-booted thugs pounding on your door in the middle of the night, he used it as a prop to whine on and on and on about his own “white privilege,” and much, much more.

In the end, the desperate O’Rourke decided to base his entire campaign on racism. He found racism everywhere: In our criminal justice system, in our education system, in our healthcare system and probably in the way cereal and toys are marketed to children. He repeated over and over and over again that “this country was founded on white supremacy.” He resorted to these craven tactics and many, many more, all as a means of desperately grasping to recapture that fawning free media coverage he had received in such preposterous plenty throughout 2018.

As Tucker Carlson summed up in a terrific obituary for the O’Rourke campaign Friday evening:

Has there ever been a more sanctimonious candidate for anything in this country? He pretended to hate himself, but that’s always just a cover for hating you.

He fought to stay in the race with a very simple tactic: On every issue that came up, he took the most leftwing position you could take.

Beto O’Rourke was in fact the unshackled Id of the Democratic Party. He was what Democratic primary voters would choose if nobody else was voting.

In the end, Beto’s campaign was exactly what you’d expect it to be: It was a constellation of shallow, fragile, dumb people talking to themselves.

Here’s the full clip for your viewing pleasure:

Irish Bob assured everyone that he has no plans to challenge Texas Senator John Cornyn for his seat next year. That probably came as crushing news to Texas Democrat party leaders, since they just love to field sure looooooosers in these senate races. The filing deadline is coming up in December for that race, so we will know for sure soon enough whether we will still have the lanky looooooser to kick around here at the Campaign Update.

In the end, the vain candidate who vainly told Vanity Fair he was just “born to be in it” was never actually in it at all. All his doomed-from-the-start candidacy ended up producing was the standard Democrat by-products of envy, hate and division, meaning that the once-beloved precious Beto was never anything special.

Adios, el Pendejo Grande!

Tucker Carlson and Rand Paul Lambast Lindsey Graham – But What About Richard Burr?

Today’s Campaign Update, PART II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Why should the Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee get a pass? – No one is more frustrated with the empty promises of Lindsey Graham than I am. The Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, who must stand for re-election to his South Carolina Senate seat in 2020, has spent this entire year rushing before the nearest TV camera to make empty promise after empty promise about his plans to force people to testify before his committee.

He’s done this so many times, he has become the Senate’s version of the boy who cried wolf. It’s to the point now where it is near-impossible to take the guy seriously anymore. On his nightly Fox News program last night, Tucker Carlson aired an entire segment on the issue, which included an interview with Senator Rand Paul:

So, yes, Sen. Graham is failing in his duty as chairman. I wrote early this year that, due to his rumored lifestyle, Graham may be one of the most easily-compromised members of the Senate, and it certainly appears as if he has been compromised, and is afraid to exercise the powers of his chairmanship. This is sad and detestable, but it really should come as no surprise to anyone.

Graham richly deserves every bit of criticism he gets from Carlson, Sen. Paul and anyone else who weighs in on this subject – no argument there. His committee has jurisdiction over everything that took place within the Department of Justice and the FBI during 2016 through 2018, and it is now crystal clear Graham has no intention of making any effort whatsoever to hold anyone accountable.

His committee also has the power to subpoena each and every witness being interrogated in the basement of the Capitol Building by Adam Schiff in the fake impeachment charade, but it is obvious now that Graham, despite his threats, has no intention of doing that, either. He deserves to be primaried by a real conservative Republican next year, and to be defeated.

But there is another very powerful Chairman of a very powerful Senate committee – the Intelligence Committee – who also has jurisdiction over every action the coup cabal took during the past three years, and who also has done literally nothing to try to hold anyone accountable.

That Chairman is RINO Richard Burr of North Carolina, and he seems to just get a pass from Carlson and Paul and everyone else for his studious inaction. If anything, given what we now know today about the Comey/Brennan operation Crossfire Hurricane, which involved multiple efforts to entrap members of the Trump campaign by foreign CIA operatives on foreign soil, Burr’s committee should have and even more compelling reason to hold hearings and subpoena witnesses to try to ferret out the truth and hold officials accountable.

But…crickets. Not just from Burr and his committee, but from Tucker Carlson, Rand Paul and everyone else.

Has Sen. Burr been compromised by the deep state, too? Or does he just not give a damn? Either way, the public deserves to know what in the hell is going on here?

That is all.
