Two Former Army Officers Telegraph the Democrat Plan for Post-Election Chaos

This is the Democrat plan. Don’t kid yourselves otherwise. – Two seditious former Army officers, John Nagl and Paul Yingling, published an opinion piece yesterday laying out what to any ordinary American might seem like a fantasy scenario in which the U.S. military rolls tanks down Pennsylvania Avenue to remove President Donald Trump from office in the event of a hung election outcome.

Their scenario relies on the communist Democrat Party succeeding in extending the “vote count”, i.e., vote fraud efforts in key states all the way through next January 20. In that event, if no clear winner has emerged, the Constitution dictates that the Speaker of the House would become President. These two seditious officers lay out the following set of subsequent events should that happen, as reported by Byron York this morning:

From that, the two retired officers — one of them, Yingling, was a deputy of Gen. H.R. McMaster in the first Gulf War — concoct a scenario in which Milley must order troops into the streets on inauguration day. “The clock will strike 12:01 PM, January 20, 2021, and Donald Trump will be sitting in the Oval Office,” they write. “The street protests will inevitably swell outside the White House, and the ranks of Trump’s private army will grow inside its grounds. The Speaker of the House will declare the Trump presidency at an end, and direct the Secret Service and Federal Marshals to remove Trump from the premises. These agents will realize that they are outmanned and outgunned by Trump’s private army, and the moment of decision will arrive. At this moment of constitutional crisis, only two options remain. Under the first, U.S. military forces escort the former president from the White House grounds. Trump’s little green men, so intimidating to lightly armed federal law enforcement agents, step aside and fade away, realizing they would not constitute a good morning’s work for a brigade of the 82nd Airborne. Under the second, the U.S. military remains inert while the Constitution dies. The succession of government is determined by extralegal violence between Trump’s private army and street protesters; Black Lives Matter Plaza becomes Tahrir Square.”

[End]

York follows that bit of treasonous advocacy by saying “Whew. This is quite simply, fantastical, over-heated, crazy stuff.”

But it’s not. It is the actual Democrat Party plan for November through January.

With all due respect to Mr. York, what does he think the communist Democrat hyper-focus on mail-in ballots is all about? What does he think the communist Democrat efforts to instutionalize the clearly un-American concept of “vote harvesting” is all about? What does he think the advocacy by Kamala Harris and other prominent Democrats of ensuring illegal aliens get to vote is all about? What does he think the unending riots in Democrat-controlled big cities are all about? What does he think the constant media-generated hysteria over the China virus is all about?

Even more to the point, what does he think the communist Democrat drumbeat – led for the last year by the despicable losers Stacey Abrams and Beto O’Rourke – that the upcoming elections will be illegitimate because the Republicans are engaging in some nebulous, undefined concept of “voter suppression” is all about? Not “might be” – will be.

It is all about creating electoral chaos. It is all about creating the illusion of not having a clear winner even though we will almost certainly have a clear winner on the morning of November 4. It is all about creating the pretense for endless legal challenges to election results filed by the Obama army of Lawfare lawyers in the hopes that a clearly compromised Chief Justice John Roberts will ultimately side with the leftist minority on the court to simply declare the dementia-addled Joe Biden the “winner” amid a fog of media-created chaos.

This opinion piece from these two treason monkeys is not some fantasy: It is in fact a warning shot across the bow targeted at the current military leadership, advising them what the plan really is and intimidating them to follow along.

The communist Democrats have decided that the time for consolidating their century-long efforts to destroy the American Republic is now, this year. Everything they have done to undermine the legitimacy of the Trump Administration for the last four years clearly points to that reality.

This is the plan. Don’t kid yourselves otherwise. Get ready.

That is all.

Evelyn Farkas: So Sleazy and Amoral That She’s Running for Congress

The Mid-Day Campaign Update

Evelyn Farkas is back in the news today, and boy, isn’t that just so great?

You may remember this raving nutjob from way back in March, 2017, when she made an appearance on MSNBC which became big news for a very brief period of time. I knew I had written about this sleazy Obama operative then, so I went and looked it up.

Here you go:

But was her son, Scut, involved?  What about his toady, Grover Dill?:  Speaking of stories you can’t find, a former Obama official named Evelyn Farkas told Mika Brzezenzski (or however you spell that name) on MSNBC early in March that she and many other Obama officials had indeed participated in an organized effort to circulate raw surveillance intelligence involving members of the Trump Transition Team, and had gladly shared the intel with members of the fake news media, unmasking some American citizens in the process.  She told this all to MSNBC gladly, and in a manner that made it obvious she is in fact proud of her actions.  She apparently did not understand that, in the process of that interview, she was potentially admitting to the commission of multiple felonies by herself, other Obama officials and members of the fake news media.  Thus, the fake news media has been jointly sitting on this story hoping it would just fade away.  Trouble is, the story has been getting a ton of attention in the realm of talk radio this week, so suddenly Ms. Farkas felt the need to go back on cable TV on Thursday to deny everything she had told Mika.  And her friends in the fake news media will nod their heads and move on.  Nothing to see here, all is well.

Yeah, remember her now? Is it all coming back to you?

Well, guess what? That little episide landed her in front of the House Intelligence Committee, which was run by honest Republicans at the time, for behind-closed-doors testimony. As it happens, despicable Democrat Adam Schiff had been sitting on the transcript of her testimony until yesterday, when DNI Ric Grenell forced ol’ Bug Eyes to release it and 52 others to the public.

Not surprisingly, when forced to discuss her MSNBC appearance, this amoral, ethics-devoid Obama loyalist (aren’t they all amoral and devoid of ethics, after all?), when faced with potential perjury charges, essentially admitted everything she had said in her first TV appearance was in fact a politically-motivated lie. Which no doubt appalled Mr. Schiff.

As reported by Sean Davis at The Federalist, here is the key excerpt from her transcript:

But Farkas sang a different tune under oath when questioned by lawmakers about what she actually “knew” about collusion.

“Why don’t we go back to that sentence that I just asked you about. It says ‘the Trump folks, if they found out how we knew what we knew about their staff dealing with Russians,” Gowdy said. “Well, how would you know what the U.S. government knew at that point? You didn’t work for it, did you?”

“I didn’t,” said Farkas, a former mid-level Russia analyst who left the federal government in 2015.

“Then how did you know?” Gowdy responded.

“I didn’t know anything,” Farkas said.

“Did you have information connecting the Trump campaign to the hack of the DNC?” Gowdy asked.

“No,” Farkas admitted.

“So when you say, ‘We knew,’ the reality is you knew nothing,” Gowdy asked later during the deposition.

“Correct,” Farkas responded.

Gowdy didn’t stop there.

“So when you say ‘knew,’ what you really meant was felt?” he asked.

“Correct,” Farkas answered.

“You didn’t know anything?” Gowdy continued.

“That’s correct,” Farkas responded.

[End]

Ouch.

Oh, but here is the best part: This sleazy, amoral, ethics-devoid political operative for America’s Worst Mistake, Barack Hussein Obama His Own Self, is now of course the Democrat Party’s nominee to become the congressional representative for New York’s 17th district.

You could never, never, never, ever make this stuff up, folks. Not in a billion, octillion years.

AG Barr Makes Most Pointed Statements yet About Spygate “Travesty”

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II

The corrupt media misses the real news, as usual. – In a wide-ranging interview with Laura Ingraham to be aired on Fox News Thursday night, Attorney General William Barr slams the corrupt news media for “waging a jihad” against hydroxychloroquine simply because President Donald Trump has spoken positively about it. This is the focus of headlines about the interview by media outlets both leftist and conservative this morning.

Here is an excerpt in a Washington Times piece about Barr’s HCQ-related comments:

Attorney General William P. Barr Wednesday accused the media of attacking hydroxycholoroquine solely because President Trump has suggested it could treat the coronavirus.

“Before the president said anything about it, there was fair and balanced coverage of this very promising drug and the fact that it had such a long track record, and soon as [President Trump] said something positive about it the media has been on a jihad to discredit this drug,” Mr. Barr said in an interview with Fox News’ Laura Ingharam. “It’s quite strange.”

Mr. Trump has been urging federal health officials to make hydroxycholorquine more widely available as the coronavirus spreads, but others insist there is little evidence the drug will be effective.

[End]

The WashTimes also includes this bit of truth from Barr about the corrupt media:

“I think the president went out at the beginning of this thing and was statesman-like — trying to bring people together, trying to work with all the governors, keeping his patience as he got these snarky gotcha questions from the White House media pool — and the stridency of the partisan attacks on him has gotten higher and higher and it’s disappointing to see,” he said. “The stridency of the partisan attacks and the politicization of hydroxychloroquine has been amazing to me,” he said.

[End]

Barr also made the following accurate remarks as captured in a piece by SF Gate:

“I am concerned that we not get into the business of declaring everything an emergency and then using these kinds of sweeping, extraordinary steps,” Barr said. “But given where we were back in March, I think the president made the right decision.”

Barr noted the economics of the shutdown could cost lives. For example, he said, cancer researchers were likely at home now, not doing their critical work.

“We will have a weaker health care system if we go into a deep depression,” Barr said. “So just measured in lives, the cure cannot be worse than the disease.”

[End]

These are all very good, cutting remarks that make for nice headlines that attract clicks to media web pages. But they are also not the real news in this interview, news that is not included even in the report on the interview at Fox New’s own website.

To get that, you have to go view a Twitter thread by Washington Post reporter Matt Zapotosky. Towards the end of that thread, Zapotosky quotes Barr as follows:

Why is this news? Because in the past, AG Barr has always used speculative language regarding the origins of the Spygate operation run during 2016/17 by the deep state cabal within the DOJ and the FBI. He has always used qualifiers like “I suspect” or “we need to find out” when referring to his and U.S. Attorney John Durham’s investigation into what was an outright coup d’etat effort on American soil.

To now directly call Spygate “one of the greatest travesties in American history” and to overtly state that the spying operation James Comey called “Crossfire Hurricane” was started “without any basis” and “meant to sabotage the presidency” is new, much more assertive language used by a man who is always very careful in the language he employs publicly. This is, in other words, a dramatic change in messaging.

Now, anyone can read this any way they prefer, but I read this as Mr. Barr sending a message that the Durham investigation has uncovered proof of the cabal’s seditious operations that he is willing to bring to court. He would not be making such unqualified statements of what can only be classified as treasonous actions if that were not the case.

Stay tuned.

That is all.

This Will Drive the Deep State Nuts: Trump Preparing for a Major House-Cleaning

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Yesterday’s Campaign Update focused on the efforts by Acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Ric Grenell to identify and get rid of the bad actors remaining embeded within the Intelligence Community (IC), and the panic that is creating in the Deep State and its corrupt media hacks at the New York Times.

Today, Jonathan Swan – who is actually a pretty solid working journalist – at Axios has a report that will drive the Brennans, Comeys and Clappers of the world even crazier: It turns out that President Trump has assigned people within his body of trusted advisors to spend the last year-and-a-half compiling lists of disloyal government officials, along with names of Trump supporters who are qualified and willing to replace them.

As reported by Swan:

The Trump White House and its allies, over the past 18 months, assembled detailed lists of disloyal government officials to oust — and trusted pro-Trump people to replace them — according to more than a dozen sources familiar with the effort who spoke to Axios.

Driving the news: By the time President Trump instructed his 29-year-old former body man and new head of presidential personnel to rid his government of anti-Trump officials, he’d gathered reams of material to support his suspicions.

  • While Trump’s distrust has only intensified since his impeachment and acquittal, he has long been on the hunt for “bad people” inside the White House and U.S. government, and fresh “pro-Trump” options. Outside advisers have been happy to oblige.

Oh, man, heads must be exploding at the Times, the Washington Post, CNN and MSNBC over this one. And can you imagine the nervous breakdowns taking place all over the offices of the CIA, FBI, DOJ and State Department?

Perhaps the best part of Swan’s piece is his concluding paragraph:

The bottom line: As the New York Times’ Peter Baker wrote on Saturday, “in some of the most critical corners of the Trump administration, officials show up for work now never entirely sure who will be there by the end of the evening — themselves included.”

Good. Great. Fantastic. This is three years overdue, a house-cleaning the President has been counseled to forego due to political factors and the interminable coup d’etat effort against him led by Rod Rosenstein, Robert Mueller, Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi.

Now that the idiotic impeachment scam has run its course, President Trump – according to Swan – feels liberated, free to finally rid his administration of seditious Obama/Bush/Clinton holdovers and put his own people into key positions. In every previous presidential administration in our history, this kind of house-cleaning was considered to be standard operating procedure. But due to the efforts of the Deep State and its corrupt media toadies, it has taken three long years enduring constant leaks, subversions and betrayals for this President to feel free to finally do what he was elected to do.

Man, this is going to be some fun.

Chuck Todd Lays Out the Real Democrat Goal: Rule by Unelected Bureaucrats

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

America is prospering again; America is at peace on a scale not seen in modern times; and the Democrats and their corrupt media toadies can’t stand it.  – Do you want to be governed by the people you elect to the executive and congressional branches of government? Or do you want to be ruled over by a vast administrative state occupied by millions of unelected and largely unaccountable bureaucrats?

That is the real question facing our society today, and NBC’s Democrat activist masquerading as a “journalist,” Chuck Todd, made his preference crystal clear today. In an interview with slow-witted Democrat Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, Todd attempted to lead his interviewee into buying into his obvious belief that the DOJ simply cannot be managed by political appointees put in place by an elected President:

“Are we at the point where we can not trust a political appointee to be in charge of Justice? Do you have to change the way we do this, create more of a CIA/FBI/Federal Reserve approach to appointments for Attorney General? Figure out some distance from the executive branch of some sort?”

In posing that particular loaded question, Todd illustrates the totalitarian mindset among the political left, a mindset that has formed the foundation of every one of the major hoaxes the Democrat/Media propaganda complex has mounted against Donald Trump, and is now in the process of mounting against Attorney General William Barr, as I discussed this morning.

Writing at The Federalist, the great Mollie Hemingway laid it out this way in a terrific piece:

So much of the  drama of the last three years of the Trump administration is about the conflict between the Constitution, which requires political oversight of the bureaucracy, and the Resistance’s strongly held view that political oversight of the administrative state is evil.

The Russia collusion hoax was perpetrated by bureaucrats who admitted they were motivated by a a belief that their foreign policy vision was more appropriate and legitimate than the one chosen by the American people when they elected Donald Trump to be their president.

Likewise, the Ukraine impeachment effort was ginned up by a group of bureaucrats who wished that President Trump had followed their “interagency consensus” rather than his foreign policy vision. And the latest Resistance-created drama is about whether Attorney General William Barr should continue to let agents do outlandish things as part of their now-debunked Russia collusion theory or exercise any oversight whatsoever.

The Democrats and their corrupt media toadies, like Todd, have spent the last four years trying in vain to make the case that America should be ruled by a permanent, leftwing/globalist Administrative State, not governed by the officials who are actually elected by voters.

The Administrative State prefers U.S. involvement in endless wars in the Middle East and Africa; it prefers a U.S. economy hamstrung by endless, abusive regulatory strictures; it would leave the Ukraine defenseless against Russian aggression; it wants endless chaos at our southern border caused by illegal immigration, human smuggling and the drug trade; it favors the redistribution of American wealth to the rest of the world through globalist arrangements like NATO and the Paris Climate Accords and one-sided trade agreements and Obama’s Iran deal.

This is the very heart of the war President Trump has been fighting, almost alone, against the D.C. Swamp. William Barr’s apparent support of the Trump view in this war is why Democrats and fake journalists like Chuck Todd are mounting this new hoax against him.

If America is to survive as a constitutional Republic, it is a war that Trump and Barr must win.

That is all.

Schiff Reveals Democrats’ Real Goal: Destroy U.S. Elections

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Ol’ Bugeyes just let the cat out of the bag. – One of the main long term goals held by the Democrat Party for the past century now has been to destroy the validity of elections in the United States, as they strive to enact their longed-for Soviet-style utopia.

We have seen them ramp that effort up to epic proportions in the 21st century, as they have consistently refused to accept the validity of any Republican victory, variously blaming negative outcomes on fantasy-based “voter suppression” or interference by the Russians. The party’s leaders and their toadies in the corrupt, fake news media have spent the last four years trying to convince the American public that Vladimir Putin actually chose our president in 2016, a narrative that enabled – along with massive voter fraud efforts – the Ds to attain their House majority in 2018.

Last night, Adam Schiff took things an inevitable step forward, declaring the 2020 presidential election to be invalid in advance. Watch this:

Ok, so, something as important as choosing who the next President of the United states will be is just too important to be left to mere voting citizens. In the world of Adam Schiff and his fellow depraved Democrats, that task must now be left up to a jury of 100 senators, half of whom are too brain-addled to know where they are half the time.

While Liz Wheeler is appropriately astonished at Schiff’s audacity, we all need to understand that all Bugeyes is doing here is reciting the official position and favored narrative of the national Democrat Party, whose overarching goal has been to literally destroy the foundations of the American Republic since at least 1932. Schiff’s remarks – which will come to be the Democrat mantra leading up to the November elections – are designed to set the stage and rhetorical pretext for the massive civil unrest and rioting they plan to unleash in advance and in the wake of a second Trump victory.

The Democrats and their media toadies are normally pretty adept at hiding their real, true goals from the public. But every once in a while, they let the mask slip.

This is one of those times. Take Mr. Schiff at his word, and understand he is speaking on behalf of one of America’s two major political parties.

That is all.

Pelosi Will Either Cave or get Rolled by McConnell – the Choice is Hers

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

The Kabuki Dance in the DC Swamp between San Fran Nan and Cocaine Mitch is about to come to its grand climax. – The only question at this point is whether the drunken Speaker with the constantly misbehaving dentures will cave in and deliver her vodka-stained articles of impeachment to the Senate, or whether the Senate Majority Leader will deem them to have been delivered and begin the Senate trial anyway.

The Hill reported Thursday afternoon that Majority Leader Mitch McConnell:

…warned lawmakers during the caucus meeting that they should not expect to be able to go home next weekend, indicating that the long-delayed trial will be underway.

Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) added that McConnell told senators that the two articles would be sent over “soon,” expecting them in the “next day or two.”

“There’s no reason for us to stay this weekend, but don’t expect to be home next weekend was the basic message,” Cramer added after the closed-door caucus lunch.

This is a clear indication that the master of Senate procedure either has been told by the always semi-lucid Speaker that she plans to communicate the articles to the Senate no later than early next week, or that McConnell has simply had enough of his DC Swamp Kabuki Dance with her and plans to proceed regardless.

McConnell’s advisory to GOP senators came a few hours after a slurring, stammering Pelosi told a gathering of corrupt, fawning reporters that she did not plan to hold the articles in her gnarly claws indefinitely and would deliver them to the Senate “soon”:

She further said that “we want to see what they’re willing to do, and the manner in which they will do it,” referring to McConnell and the Senate. Well, McConnell already made that crystal clear in a statement on the Senate floor yesterday, announcing that there will be no negotiations with Pelosi over the Senate process, and that he has the 51 votes he needs to proceed with the same rules governing this Senate trial that governed the trial of Bill Clinton.

We told you last week that Pelosi had no leverage in her standoff with McConnell, and yesterday pointed out the reality that the Majority Leader had completely out-flanked her as a result. Hardball politics in the nation’s capital – or anywhere else, for that matter – is all about leverage, and when you have none, you are destined to lose.

Pelosi is destined to lose in her idiotic impeachment scam, and today she appeared to finally, if reluctantly, acknowledge her reality. We’ll see if that momentary lucidity can withstand her third vodka martini tonight.

That is all.

Here’s Why Pelosi is Making Impeachment Permanent

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Tired of all this WINNING yet? Not a chance.  – All major U.S. market indexes once again attained all-time record high closes on Monday. It was the ninth straight record trading day on the NASDAQ, its longest such streak since 1998. As we approach the end of 2019, the Trump economy has now taken all of the Democrat/media recession promoters, folded them collectively up into a massive wad of smelly BS, and tossed them into the garbage dump of history. It’s a wonderful thing for America.

Tired of all this WINNING yet? Part II. – The stock markets weren’t the only area in which Americans were WINNING bigly on Monday. The leaders in China finally signaled capitulation to the reality of President Trump holding all the real leverage in the trade negotiations between the worlds two largest economies yesterday, announcing a massive reduction in tariffs on U.S. imports into their country:

China will lower tariffs on products ranging from frozen pork and avocado to some types of semiconductors next year as Beijing looks to boost imports amid a slowing economy and a trade war with the United States.

Next year, China will implement temporary import tariffs, which are lower than the most-favored-nation tariffs, on more than 850 products, the finance ministry said on Monday. By comparison, 706 products were taxed at temporary rates in 2019.

The tariff changes were made to “increase imports of products facing a relative domestic shortage, or foreign speciality goods for everyday consumption,” the ministry said in a statement on its website.

This, friends, is WINNING, and it is only going to get better in 2020. Heck, it will likely only get better before 2019 is over – after all, we have a whole week to go.

Why is Pelosi making impeachment a permanent process? – After I posted yesterday afternoon’s update detailing the Democrats’ latest move to make impeaching President Donald Trump a permanent feature of their rule in the House of Representatives, several readers sent messages asking why she and Schiff and Nadler would do this? What purpose does it serve?

Well, there are several reason why San Fran Nan’s traveling congressional freak show is going down this road – let’s lay them out in bullet point form:

  • First and foremost, the Democrats have nothing else. This is all they got, and they know it. They have no real policy agenda heading into the 2020 elections other than promoting the Green New Scam and Venezuela-style socialism, and those are unpopular policy proposals that they must pursue under the radar.
  • Second, because they can. There is no honest media establishment working to inform the American people of the truly subversive nature of what they are doing, and thus, no negative consequences politically from going down this despicable road.
  • Third, because they can never admit that the 2016 presidential election was legitimate. Think about it: They and their corrupt media toadies have spent three entire years now promoting first the Trump/Russia myth and then the Trump/Ukraine myth in their frenzied effort to overturn the results of that election. If they were to stop now, it would be an admission that the entire pretense that enabled them to attain their House majority in the 2018 election was a false one.
  • Fourth, because pursuing permanent impeachment supports their new narrative in which they are already making the case that the 2020 presidential election will be illegitimate. Having a President win re-election while “under investigation” is key to that narrative.
  • Fifth, because they know that Ruth Bader Ginsburg is in terrible health, making it very likely there will be an opening on the Supreme Court at some point next year. Making impeachment permanent enables them to argue that President Trump can’t fill that seat while he’s under “suspicion.”

I suspect it is possible that Ginsburg, who is 85 and has survived several bouts with lung and pancreatic cancer, or liberal justice Stephen Breyer, who is 81, may have even informed Pelosi and others that she or he plans to retire at the end of the current Supreme Court session, which would help to explain the urgency behind the Democrats’ efforts to keep impeachment alive.

Now, if you are thinking that none of the reasons listed above are legitimate reasons for the constitutional abomination Pelosi is perpetrating on our society, I agree. But we have to remember that everything Pelosi, Schumer or any Democrat leader does has a single goal in mind: The acquisition and maintenance of political power. That’s it.

Considerations such as what might be best for the country never enters the minds of these demented and depraved people. Once you realize that reality and accept it, everything they do makes perfect, if evil, sense.

That is all.

Democrats Promise Again to Make Impeachment Permanent

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

I hate to say I told you so, but, well, I told you so.  – A week ago, on December 16, the Campaign Update detailed the fact that, in a filing before the D.C. Court of Appeals, House Democrat General Counsel Douglas Letter had revealed his Party’s plans to make impeachment a permanent feature of their majority’s reign of terror. Here, in part, is what that filing said, as detailed in a report by Politico:

In a filing to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, House General Counsel Douglas Letter argued that the House’s demands for grand jury materials connected to former special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation were still urgent because such evidence might become relevant to the Senate’s expected impeachment trial next month.

But Letter went further to note that even apart from the Senate trial, the House Judiciary Committee intends to continue its impeachment investigation arising from the Mueller probe on its own merit.

“The committee has continued and will continue [its impeachment] investigations consistent with its own prior statements respecting their importance and purposes,” Letter wrote in a filing Monday as part of the House’s bid to obtain Mueller’s grand jury evidence.

Seems pretty clear, doesn’t it? Yet, when Letter essentially repeated this evil plan in another filing today, the same folks at Politico and others in the corrupt national news media acted as if it were some big surprise. Here, in part, is what Politico had to say about it all:

The House is open to the prospect of impeaching President Donald Trump a second time, lawyers for the Judiciary Committee said Monday. [Oh, you don’t say?]

House Counsel Douglas Letter said in a filing in federal court that a second impeachment could be necessary if the House uncovers new evidence that Trump attempted to obstruct investigations of his conduct. Letter made the argument as part of an inquiry by the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals into whether Democrats still need testimony from former White House counsel Don McGahn after the votes last week to charge Trump with abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

So, ok, for the second time: The House Democrats are going to make impeaching President Donald Trump a permanent feature of their majority’s rule for at least the entirety of 2020. If the President is re-elected and the Democrats manage to retain their majority, they will continue the permanent impeachment process for the following two years. Indeed, as long as that status quo balance of power remains in place, the Democrats will be impeaching President Trump.

Is everyone clear on this now, or should I get a blackboard out and write it 100 more times?

Hell, it could get even worse than that. Last Thursday, Bugeyes Schiff said that the permanent impeachment effort by depraved House Democrats could also be expanded Vice President Mike Pence. And don’t forget that Schiff, Gerrold Nadler and Pelosi have all also talked about the possibility of attempting to impeach Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

This is what happens when American voters choose to vote for demented, depraved, despicable and morally bankrupt Democrats in congressional elections. These people and their corrupt media toadies are frankly evil human beings who simply do not care about this country, and it is long past time to stop pretending otherwise.

Because maintaining the pretense that there is anything legitimate about what the Democrats are doing is destroying our country, and it needs to end.

They will never stop, until we stop them.

That is all.

Donald Trump Just Had One of the Best Weeks in Presidential History

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

This truly has been a week to remember, and not just because of impeachment.  – In fact, it could be argued that the idiotic ending to the Democrats’ impeachment sham turns out to only modestly important in the context of the other major  events that happened over the last seven days. The impeachment sham notwithstanding, President Trump just had what may well have been the greatest week of his entire presidency, and that is a truly great thing for America.

Let’s take a look at this truly momentous week:

Markets – This country has seldom seen a run in the stock markets like one seen over the past five trading days. The NASDAQ set a new record high on every one of those days, ending the week with a record closing streak of 8 consecutive trading days. The Dow and S&P 500 set new records on all but one day during the week. This is WINNING on such a grand scale that even the recession promoters in the corrupt mainstream news media have given up.

USMCA – San Fran Nan Pelosi was so embarrassed by her absurd articles of impeachment that, after sitting on the President’s signature trade deal for 8 months, she finally decided to bring it to a vote on the day after the impeachment vote took place. She and her pathetic, demented fellow Democrats desperately tried taking credit for this extremely favorable trade deal with our country’s two largest trading partners, but nobody was buying it. The Senate also approved the deal late in the week.

China Phase 1 trade deal – The President also reached a deal with America’s third-largest trading partner during the same week USMCA passed in congress. Again, this deal is extremely favorable to the United States and its farmers and consumers, and will, along with USMCA, set the U.S. economy up to have another year of roaring growth in 2020.

Durham closing in on Brennan – The week was filled with clear signals that the investigation led by U.S. Attorney John Durham and sanctioned by AG William Barr is real and closing in on the members of the Coup Cabal. The first signal came in a Thursday New York Times Deep State cover piece detailing the fact that Durham is now taking a very close look at ex-CIA Director/communist/radical Islam sympathizer John Brennan. Durham is seeking all of Brennan’s written, digital and phone records from his time at CIA, with a special focus on his 2016 communications with former FBI Director and current National Teenage Drama Queen Jim Comey. Oh, my.

Barr pillories Comey in Fox News interview – In an interview with Martha MacCallum on Fox News later Thursday evening, AG Barr sent another clear signal that stuff is getting real with his and Durham’s investigation, slamming Comey for his blatant prevarications about his role in fixing the 2016 election for the Pantsuit Princess and later effort to frame President Trump. If you haven’t watched Barr’s interview, you should. It will definitely make you feel better about things.

Rogers cooperating with Durham – Friday evening brought the delightful news that former NSA Director and national hero Admiral Mike Rogers has been cooperating with the Barr/Durham investigation for months now, according to a report in The Intercept. It was Adm. Rogers who, in mid-2016, discovered thousands of Obama-era violations of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), Section 702(17) surveillance process, and the hundreds of illegal unmaskings of U.S. citizens carried out by high Obama officials like Susan Rice and U.N. Ambassador Samantha Power. It was also Adm. Rogers who discovered that Obama had bugged Trump Tower during the post-election transition and immediately warned then-President-elect Trump, after which the Transition team moved to a Trump-owned golf resort in New Jersey. The cooperation of Rogers proves the seriousness of the Barr/Durham effort.

Brexit Vote in Parliament – It received precious little notice in the corrupt, globalist U.S. media, but Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Brexit plan received overwhelming approval in the new, post-election British Parliament. The House of Commons passed the Withdrawal Agreement Bill in a 358 to 234 vote. This sets the stage for Britain to formally withdraw from the globalist European Union by January 31, which in turn sets the stage for President Trump and PM Johnson to execute a massive trade deal between the two giant trading partners.

Impeachment – The President even managed to turn the Democrats’ sham impeachment vote into a net positive for him, holding another massive rally in Battle Creek, MI that began while the absurd vote was being counted. New polls issued simultaneous to and immediately after the vote showed public sentiment moving “massively in the president’s favor” according even to CNN’s own polling analysts. San Fran Nan’s stupid tactic of refusing to communicate the articles of impeachment over to the Senate will only add to the public’s growing disgust with her and her depraved, demented and despicable caucus in the House.

Judges, judges, and more judges – While San Fran Nan was counting her votes in the House, Cocaine Mitch was doing what he does best: Confirming 13 more Trump-appointed judges to the federal bench. This brings the total number of Trump judges added to the federal judiciary in just three years to a whopping 187. That, folks, is WINNING for the long-term.

Turning Point USA – President Trump capped off what was possibly the greatest single week of his presidency with a speech at the meeting of the group Turning Point USA. For those unfamiliar with it, Turning Point USA is a political action group organized by and for the Millennial generation. Conventional “wisdom” tells us that President Trump has a hard time connecting with the younger voting age public.

Take a look at he reception the President received from this group Saturday evening and judge for yourselves:

Boom: Admiral Mike Rogers is Cooperating With Barr and Durham

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Tired of all this WINNING yet? How could you be? – It never gets old.  On Friday, yet again, every major stock market index achieved record high closes, running the streak of record high closes on the NASDAQ to an astonishing eight straight days. With this week’s congressional passage of the USMCA trade deal with Mexico and Canada and the closing of a very favorable Phase 1 trade deal with China, there is no telling how high the markets might rise in the U.S. and globally.

You might not like President Donald John Trump, but your 401(k) loves him.

One more reason to have faith comes to light, and it’s a big one. – In case you missed it, yesterday’s Campaign Update Part II advised you of very good reasons to have faith that AG William Barr and U.S. Attorney John Durham really are working hard to bring the members of the Obama-era Coup Cabal to justice. Late in the day on Friday, another very good reason – perhaps the most compelling of all reasons – to have faith came to light via a report at The Intercept.

According to that report, retired Admiral and former Director of the U.S. National Security Agencey (DNSA) Mike Rogers has been cooperating with Mr. Durham’s investigation for several months now:

RETIRED ADM. MICHAEL ROGERS, former director of the National Security Agency, has been cooperating with the Justice Department’s probe into the origins of the counterintelligence investigation of the Trump presidential campaign’s alleged ties to Russia, according to four people familiar with Rogers’s participation.

Rogers has met the prosecutor leading the probe, Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham, on multiple occasions, according to two people familiar with Rogers’s cooperation. While the substance of those meetings is not clear, Rogers has cooperated voluntarily, several people with knowledge of the matter said.

It was Rogers, in his role as DNSA, who, during a review in mid-2016, initially discovered thousands of Obama-era violations of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), Section 702(17) surveillance process, and the hundreds of illegal unmaskings of U.S. citizens carried out by high Obama officials like Susan Rice and U.N. Ambassador Samantha Power. Rogers discovered and reported the fact that those illegal searches were being carried out not just by Obama officials, but by government contractors as well. He quickly blew the whistle on all of that and shut it down.

Even more, it was Rogers who, in November of 2016, discovered the fact that the Obama people had in fact bugged Trump Tower and the Trump Transition operations that were taking place there. Rogers quickly met with President-elect Trump and informed him of this fact. The very next day, the Trump Transition operations were moved to a Trump-owned golfing resort in New Jersey.

As noted by The Intercept:

Rogers’s voluntary participation, which has not been previously reported, makes him the first former intelligence director known to have been interviewed for the probe.

“He’s been very cooperative,” one former intelligence officer who has knowledge of Rogers’s meetings with the Justice Department said.

Put simply: Admiral Rogers is a guy who knows where all of the bodies are buried in this neverending coup operation against President Trump. He knows everything that happened in the 2016 attempt to fix the election in favor of Hillary Clinton, and he knows everything that took place in the months leading up to the hiring of Robert Mueller to perform as Special Counsel. He knows who all the players were, all the way up to Barack Hussein Obama his own self.

There is no reason whatsoever to believe that Admiral Rogers is anything other than the highest caliber patriot. The news that he has been cooperating with Barr and Durham no doubt has all the bad actors scrambling to find some new narrative to deploy to their corrupt toadies in the media to try to discredit him.

Expect some nasty pieces based solely on “unnamed sources” targeting Adm. Rogers to suddenly appear in the pages of the New York Times and Washington Post in the days to come. Because that’s how all of this works.

Have faith.

That is all.

Boom: AG William Barr Slams Comey in Fox News Interview

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Fox News host Martha MacCallum aired an interview with Attorney General William Barr on her “The Story” program Thursday night. – To be honest, most of the interview was just boilerplate stuff from Barr that we’ve already heard half a dozen times before. But in the midst of his discussion with MacCallum, Barr made a point of chastising former FBI director and current National Teenage Drama Queen James Comey for his ongoing campaign of obfuscation and dissembling to a willing, corrupt national news media.

Below are a clip of the interview followed by a transcript, with bolding of the juicy parts added by yours truly. First, the clip:

Here’s the Transcript:

MacCullum: So, by the time this airs this evening, it’s expected that the president will be impeached by the House of Representatives of the United States. What do you think about that?

Barr:  Well, as I’ve said, it’s a constitutional political process that’s underway right now, and the Department of Justice isn’t part of that. And so, it’s premature for me to comment on impeachment at this point.

MacCullum: When you listen to the call, do you think that it was perfect, as the president says?

BARR: Well, I’m not going to get into, you know, if issues come up later and I have to deal with them, I don’t want to, you know, be discussing the facts.

MacCullum: With regard to Ukraine, which obviously is at the center of the impeachment push, Rudy Giuliani just got back from Ukraine again. He’s still investigating on behalf of the president there, you know, who may have been trying to get at him in 2016. Do you think that’s a good idea?  That Rudy Giuliani is investigating that in Ukraine?

Barr: Well, I’m responsible for the Department of Justice, and obviously, I will rely on investigations conducted by the department. And I think that’s generally the best way to go.

MacCullum: Do you think he’s stepping on your turf?

Barr: I wouldn’t say that, but as I say, I think it’s in everyone’s interests to allow the Department of Justice to do its work and the other U.S. intelligence agencies.

MacCullum: He said in an interview that he needed to get Marie Yovanovitch out of the way, that she was going to make investigations difficult for everybody. And he firmly believes that there was a Ukraine conspiracy with the DNC against President Trump. Do you have any indication that there was one?

Barr:Well, as I’ve said, I have not looked at all into the — whatever the Ukrainian aspects are of the 2016 election, I have not gotten into them at all, and I don’t know whether John Durham has gotten into them. So, because that is a matter that is potentially going to be covered by the investigation, I don’t want to speculate.

MacCullum: Are you interested in seeing the evidence that Rudy Giuliani has been gathering in Ukraine?

Barr: The Department of Justice is interested in seeing all evidence that could be relevant.

MacCullum: Does the Department have any plan to investigate Joe Biden or CrowdStrike or Ukraine and the DNC server or Burisma. Are any of those on your radar?

Barr: Again, you know, I do not want to speculate about what Durham may or may not get into. But I don’t know what he is…

MacCullum: But, currently none of those issues are under investigation.

Barr: I mean, I couldn’t say one way or the other, but you shouldn’t read anything into that.

MacCullum: Jim Comey came out after you gave your last interview. You responded to the IG Horowitz’s report and spoke out about that. And then he spoke with Chris Wallace and he said that the 17 mistakes and omissions that were uncovered in the FISA process, he attributed it to sloppiness largely. What do you say to that?

Barr:I think there’s some of them very hard to square with the idea that these were just mistakes and sloppiness. I have said that a number of these episodes leave open the possibility of inferring bad faith or improper motive. But I hasten to add that, as I’ve said all along, that I’ve reached no determination on that, nor do I think a final determination on that is appropriate until all the evidence is there. The — Horowitz himself in his testimony, I think pretty well summed it up, which is this could be on the one hand, at the very least, gross incompetence. On the other hand, it could also be improper motive, and he was not in a position to make that call. And that’s why we have the US attorney, John Durham, looking into this.

MacCullum: Yeah, and I want to ask you about that in a moment. Are you surprised that James Comey is so convinced himself that all of this was completely above board? He came out and said there was no treason and there’s no spying at all on the president.

Barr: Well, I think the IG report and the recent letter from the FISA court I think pulls the rug out from under that analysis. There was serious misconduct, as the court itself has said. And one of the things that I object to is the tact being taken by Comey, which is to suggest that people who are criticizing or trying to get to the bottom of the misconduct are somehow attacking the FBI. I think that’s nonsense. We’re criticizing and concerned about misconduct by a few actors at the top of the FBI, and they should be criticized if they engaged in serious misconduct. That doesn’t mean we’re criticizing the FBI, and I think the tact of trying to wrap yourself in the institution and say, gee, people who are criticizing the decisions I made are attacking the institution. I noticed people don’t that as far as I’m concerned, people feel free to criticize me. And I don’t say, gee, you’re attacking the honest men and women of the Department of Justice. I think leaders, you know, have to own their decisions and are fair game if they make bad decisions.

MacCullum: I want you to listen to this piece of his interview with Chris Wallace and get your reaction.

Comey Clip: He does not have a factual basis as the attorney general of the United States to be speculating that agents acted in bad faith. The facts just aren’t there. Full stop. That doesn’t make it any less consequential, any less important. But that’s an irresponsible statement.

MacCullum: He said you made an irresponsible statement about these FBI individuals.

Barr: Well, as I said, I made the same statement effectively and substantively as the inspector general, which is there are unexplained misconduct there. It just can’t be easily explained as to what was going on there. And as he said, it could involve bad motive. And he was not in a position, given the limited scope he has, of making that final determination. So, it’s not speculation. But, you know, I think there are episodes there that simply cannot be squared with innocent mistakes. And I think people have to come to terms with that.

MacCullum:: Were you surprised that he seemed to give himself such a distance from the entire operation?

Comey clip: As the director sitting on top of an organization of 30,000 people you can’t run an investigation that’s seven layers below you. You have to leave it to the career professionals to do.

MacCullum: Do you believe that?

Barr: No, I think that the one of the problems with what happened was precisely that they pulled the investigation up to the executive floors, and it was run and bird dogged by a very small group of very high level officials. And the idea that this was seven layers below him is simply not true.

[End]

That is very blunt language for a sitting AG to be directing towards a former FBI director. Mr. Barr obviously does not believe Comey’s ongoing self-justifying prevarications, and has Durham taking a detailed look into the Drama Queen’s conduct throughout 2016 and early 2017. Whether that look will ultimately lead to a nice little perp walk, indictments and ultimate prosecution is anyone’s guess, but those who are currently telling you that Barr and Durham are doing nothing are simply wrong.

If they were doing nothing, Barr would have no reason whatsoever to be doing this interview.

Have faith.

That is all.

The Democrats Will Have Their Impeachment and…then what?

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

The despicable House Democrats, led by the demented (literally) and depraved Nancy Pelosi will, like lemmings following their leader off the proverbial cliff, vote to impeach the 45th President of the United States later today. And then…what? – Our country will go on, and so will the Trump presidency, for at least another year and most likely for four more years after that.

The Senate will dispose of these sham articles of impeachment quickly once they arrive at its doorstep in the new year. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell made that clear on Tuesday when he suggested that, following opening arguments in a Senate trial, the Republicans will offer a motion to simply dismiss the case. McConnell also said that, just as the House impeachment exercise has been a purely partisan affair, he expects the Senate trial to be the same, meaning he does not anticipate losing a single GOP vote to the other side.

We’ll see. So long as Mitt Romney, Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski remain senators, the prospect of GOP unanimity on any matter remains elusive.

Regardless, there is currently zero indication that McConnell and Lindsey Graham, who chairs the Senate Judiciary Committee, will allow this to take up more than a handful of Senate days in 2020. After all, the Senate has more important matters to attend to, like confirming dozens more Trump-appointed judges to the federal judiciary.  In fact, McConnell has 13 more Trump judges up for confirmation today, even as the Democrats perform their impeachment charade:

Image

Once impeachment is done, President Trump will be tagged with the scarlet letter for the rest of his days, but that has hardly had any ill effect on Bill Clinton, who, along with the Coughing Crook, somehow managed to become near-billionaires in the years following his presidency. It seems that impeachment ain’t what it used to be, or perhaps it never really was.

The reality is that the cheapening of the impeachment process that Pelosi, Schiff and Nadler have wrought also cheapens its impact. Everyone in the country knows this is purely a hateful partisan exercise based on nothing real, the Democrat/media narrative to the contrary notwithstanding. The polling data available indicates that this entire charade has failed to turn a single American person against President Trump; indeed, if anything it has actually improved his standing among the voting public.

As I told radio host Greg Budell during my weekly appearance on Newstalk 93.1 FM in Montgomery, AL on Tuesday, the Democrats are going through with this because they literally have no choice. Their party has no real political agenda other than doubling down on Venezuelan-style socialism and they know their lineup of hacks, frauds and political midgets has no chance of actually defeating Donald Trump in a free election.

So their strategy at this point is do everything they can to de-legitimize the electoral process, and that starts by impeaching the President. That will lead to the narrative that he is now an illegitimate candidate, and the Senate’s quick acquittal of Trump will lead to the narrative that Trump and Putin will just team up to steal the presidency again in 2020.

Make no mistake about this, folks: The Democrat Party as it stands today is an anti-free and fair election party. What do you think the move to issue driver’s licenses to illegal aliens this week in New York and New Jersey is all about? It’s nothing more than an organized effort by the Democrat Party to facilitate massive voter fraud in those two states, which now join California in going down this road. You should expect states like Virginia and others along the East and West coasts to follow shortly.

The Democrats know they cannot win free and fair elections, so their plan is to do away with them, state-by-state. The three states mentioned above are already lost to the GOP for the foreseeable future, but when you see that particular effort going into place in marginal states like Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Florida, or “red” states like Texas or Alabama or Georgia – where Stacey Abrams is working hard on exactly that – then the entire country stands in real jeopardy.

As I’ve written regularly since about 1992, the only true, clear and present existential threat to the United States of America as it is constituted today is not Russia, not China, not Iran or North Korea or any other country. The only true, clear and present existential threat to the American democratic republic is the Democrat Party.

This sham impeachment is just the latest in a long line of clear manifestations of that reality.

We truly are living in interesting – and dangerous – times.

That is all.

WATCH: Matt Gaetz Torches Hunter Biden at Impeachment Clown Show

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

GOP rising star Matt Gaetz of Florida gave today’s clown show hearing on impeachment the respect it fully deserved – by spending most of his five minutes of time mercilessly torching the Bidens, most notably Quid Pro Joe’s ne’er-do-well son, Hunter.

The clip of Gaetz’s five minutes of greatness is followed by a full transcript of the festivities:

Transcript:

Thank you, Mr. Chairman. This amendment strikes “Joe Biden” as the center of the investigation, and replaces it with the true topic of the investigation: Burisma and Hunter Biden.

An essential element of the Democrats’ case on abuse of power is that the Bidens did nothing wrong. It can only be an abuse of power, and not a correct use of power, if the President was pursuing something under which there was no reasonable basis to ask a question about Hunter Biden and Burisma.

Hunter Biden and Burisma – boy, that’s an interesting story. And I think just about every American knows there’s something up with that.

$86,000 a month, and no experience? Working for some foreign government while your dad’s the vice president of the United States?

Is there anyone who really believes this is ok? I know we’ve got a few of my Democratic colleagues who run for president, or might run for president one day: Would you let your vice president have their son or daughter or some family member out moonlighting for some foreign company?

Maybe I’ll use language familiar to the former vice president: C’mon man, this looks dirty as it is. Hunter Biden was making more than five times more than a board member for ExxonMobil [!]. I’ve heard of that company.

And so I wanted to read up on Hunter Biden, learn a little more about him, and I found this very extensive profile in the New Yorker.

Here’s what it says:

Hunter said that at that point, he had not slept for several days. Driving east on Interstate 10 just beyond Palm Springs, he lost control of his car, which jumped the median and skidded to a stop on the shoulder of the West-bound side. He called Hertz, which came to collect the damaged car and gave him a second rental.

The Hertz rental officer told me he found a crack pipe in the car, and on one of the consoles, a line of white powder residue. Beau Biden’s Attorney General badge was on the dashboard. Hertz called the Prescott police department and officers filed a narcotics offense report listing items seized in the car, including a plastic bag containing a white powdery substance, a secret service card, credit cards, and Hunter Biden’s driver’s license.

That is what we would call “evidence.” And I don’t want to make light of anybody’s substance abuse issues – I know the President’s working real hard to solve those throughout the country – but it’s a little hard to believe that Burisma hired Hunter Biden to resolve their international disputes when he could not resolve his own dispute with Hertz Rental Car over over leaving cocaine and a crack pipe in the car.

It continues:

Hunter stayed in Los Angeles for about a week. He said he needed to “get away and forget.”

Soon after his arrival in L.A., he said he asked a homeless man in Pershing Square where he could buy crack. Hunter said that the man took him to a nearby homeless encampment where, in a narrow passageway between tents, someone put a gun to his head before realizing he was the buyer. He returned to buy more crack a few times that week.

Again, not saying, not casting any judgment on any challenges someone goes through in their personal life, but it is just hard to believe this was the guy, wandering through homeless encampments buying crack, that was worth $86,000 a month to Burisma Holdings.

And that may be one of the reasons why, when ABC asked Hunter Biden, hey, do you think you would’ve gotten this job in the absence of your dad being vice president, well, he said, “probably not.”

Then I looked to the record evidence, and I looked to the testimony of Mr. [George] Kent. Mr. Kent was one of the witnesses they [the Democrats] called on the first day. He said Burisma was so dirty that our own embassy had to pull out of a joint sponsorship with them.

When Amb. Yovanovitch was being prepped for her own senate confirmation, the Obama administration was so worried about the corruption surrounding Burisma and Hunter Biden that they held special prep moments to try to get ready for the inevitable questions about this obvious corruption that the President [Trump] asked about.

Mr. Kent, one of their witnesses from the first day, also gave testimony that the head of Burisma had stolen $23 million in the U.S. and the U.K, and that he paid a bribe to get off the hook!

So, again, it’s not as if Burisma is pulling out new plays, their playbook is to go in and pay bribes and hire the people who are necessary to make those problems go away.

This is why the minority hearing issue [which Nadler refuses to call despite house rules requiring him to do so] is so important, by the way. You wonder why Republicans are so angry that we didn’t have a hearing to put on our own witnesses and our own evidence, and we wonder why, well, if they feel so good about their case, why did they block our ability to put in evidence?

It’s because we have the ability to show that Burisma is corrupt. We have the ability to show that Hunter Biden is corrupt.

And that totally exculpates the President, because there is no way in the United States of America that honestly pursuing actual corruption is an impeachable offense.

Jim Jordan: They’re Never Going To Stop

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

At last night’s disgraceful clown show impeachment “hearing,” Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan said everything that needs saying on the Democrat/media/Deep State Coup Cabal’s fiasco. I’m dedicating this morning’s Campaign Update to Mr. Jordan’s five minutes of oratory greatness because frankly, he summarizes the whole sordid tale of the last four years better than anyone has done before.

Please, spread the video clip below and the transcript that follows far and wide, to all your friends – both real and on social media – and anywhere else you can distribute it, because it is something every American needs to see, listen to, and absorb. First, the clip:

Transcript:

They’re never gonna stop.

Congressman Green said yesterday that if the Senate doesn’t convict, it will not end. This is not about Ukraine – the facts are on the President’s side. Zelensky said he wasn’t even pressured; Ukrainians didn’t even know the aid was held up at the time of the call; and most importantly, they did nothing to get the aid released.

This is about one basic fact: The Democrats have never accepted the will of the American people. Three weeks ago Nancy Pelosi called the President of the United States “an imposter,” and the attacks on the President started before the election:

July 31, 2016: The FBI opened the Trump/Russia investigation, and spied on four American citizens associated with Trump’s campaign. They took the Dossier to the FISA Court and they lied to the Court 17 times.

Didn’t tell the Court the guy who wrote the Dossier was desperate to stop Trump.

Didn’t tell the Court the guy who wrote the Dossier was working for the Clinton Campaign.

Didn’t tell the Court the guy who wrote the Dossier had been leaking information to the press.

And the FBI continued the investigation after the election.

On January 3, 2017, Senator Schumer said this: “If you mess with the Intelligence Community, they have 6 ways from Sunday of getting back at you.” It took all of three days for that statement to come true.

January 6, 2017, at Trump Tower: Comey briefs President-elect Trump on the Dossier. The Dossier that the FBI already knew was false.

They do it so they can leak it to the press, so the press can write about the fact that they briefed him.

The President was told that he wasn’t under investigation when in fact they were investigating him and trying to entrap him at that meeting.

And of course, they continue their investigation after the Inauguration.

When we deposed James Comey in this committee last congress, he said that after 10 months of the FBI’s investigation, they “didn’t have a thing.”

Comey gets fired on May 9, 2017.

Eight days later, Bob Mueller gets hired, and we get two years of the Mueller Investigation: Nineteen lawyers, 40 agents, 500 warrants, 2,800 subpoenas, but ZERO collusion.

But Democrats don’t care about the facts, and they’re never gonna stop.

The “whistleblower’s” lawyer said, 10 days after the President was sworn in – “coup has started, impeachment to follow.”

Sixteen members of this committee voted to move forward with impeachment before Bob Mueller ever testified, before President Trump and President Zelensky ever had their call.

They’re never gonna stop with their attacks because they can’t stand the fact that President Trump is draining the Swamp, and doing what he said he would do, and most importantly, getting results.

Taxes cut;

Regulations reduced;

Economy growing at an unbelievable pace;

Lowest unemployment in 50 years;

Gorsuch and Kavanaugh on the Court;

Out of the Iran deal;

Embassy in Jerusalem;

Hostages home from North Korea;

And oh, by the way, a new Nafta Agreement coming any day now.

They can’t stand it, and they’re never gonna stop, and it’s not just because they don’t like the President.

It’s not just because they don’t like the President: it’s because they don’t like us.

They don’t like the 63 million people who voted for this President; all of us in “Flyover Country,” all of us common folk in Ohio, Wisconsin, Tennessee and Texas; they don’t like us.

How about what Ms. Carlin said last week, sitting right there [points to witness table]? The Democrat professor who came here and told us what she believes:

“Liberals tend to cluster; Conservatives spread out, because they don’t even want to be around themselves.”

How about our colleague, Maxine Waters?

June of 2018, when she said this: “And if you see anybody from that cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you them they are not welcome anymore, anywhere.”

That is scary.

How about Peter Strzok, the guy who ran the Clinton investigation, the guy who ran the Trump/Russia investigation, the Deputy head of counterintelligence who was fired when he said this:

“Went to a southern Virginia Wal-Mart, I could smell the Trump support.”

They don’t like us.  That’s what this is about.

They don’t like the President, they don’t like his supporters, and they dislike us so much that they’re willing to weaponize the government.

A few years ago, it was the IRS; more recently, it was the FBI; and now it’s the impeachment power of congress, going after 63 million people and the guy we put in the White House.

Think about what Chairman Schiff did last week:

He released the phone records of the President’s personal lawyer;

He released the phone records of a member of the press; and

He released the phone records of a Republican member of congress.

This is scary stuff.

This is scary stuff, what they’re doing, and frankly, it is dangerous for our country, it is not healthy for our country.

And we should all remember what Emmett Flood, the President’s lawyer, told us this past Spring when the Mueller Report first came out:

“It would be well to remember that what can be done to a President can be done to any of us.”

This is scary stuff and serious stuff, and I hope you guys [looking at the Democrats on the commitee] will reconsider and stop it while you can.

William Barr Tosses Out Some Real, Live Bombs in MSNBC Interview

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Ok, if you’re still sitting around worrying that Attorney General William Barr has gone all wobbly – even after yesterday’s pointed statements by he and U.S. Attorney John Durham in response to the IG Report – then I think I may have found your cure. Earlier today, MSNBC aired an interview involving one of their hack reporters and Attorney General Barr, and boy, is it epic. Mr. Barr is making no bones about his continued consistent views on what he bluntly still refers to as the “spying” on the Trump Campaign by the Obama FBI, and is not backing off even a little bit from his assessment of the contents of the IG Report.

Below is a clip of the first 3:17 of the interview, followed by a transcript. Watch and/or read, and if you don’t feel better after doing that, then I’m afraid there is nothing more I can do to help you.

Now, the Transcript, lovingly and laboriously prepared by we here at the Campaign Update for our audience made up mostly of voracious readers:

MSNBC Hack: Why do you say the FBI opened the investigation on the Trump Campaign on the “thinnest of suspicions?”

Barr: Well, I’m glad to get into the issue of predication, but let me just start out by saying that I think you have to put this in context. I think the heart of the IG’s report really focused on how the investigation was conducted once it got going, and that is especially the very serious abuses of FISA that occurred, much of which has in my view not been accurately reported by the press over the last day.

But, in one area I do disagree with the IG, and that was whether there was sufficient predication to open a full-blown counterintelligence investigation, specifically using the techniques that they did to collect intelligence about the Trump Campaign.

MSNBC Hack: W, w, well as a policy matter, why not open an investigation on a thin pretext? [Seriously???] I guess on the one hand you could say that it’s a presidential campaign, it’s very sensitive, you need better evidence. On the other hand, you could say, it’s a presidential campaign, we have to be very careful, it’s a threat to our political process.

Barr: I think probably from a civil liberties standpoint [Which liberals USED to be concerned about – remember?] the greatest danger to our free system is that the incumbent government use the apparatus of the state – principally the law enforcement agencies and the intelligence agencies – both to spy [!] on political opponents, but also to use them in a way that could affect the outcome of the election.

As far as I’m aware, this is the first time in our history that this has been done to a presidential campaign. The use of these counterintelligence techniques against a presidential campaign. And we have to remember, in today’s world, presidential campaigns are frequently in contact with foreign persons, and indeed, in most campaigns there are signs of illegal foreign money coming in [!!!].

And we don’t automatically assume that the campaigns are nefarious and traitors and acting in league with foreign powers. There has to be some basis before we use these very potent powers in our core first amendment activity.  And here, I felt this was very flimsy.

Basically, I think the Department has a “rule of reason” which is, at the end of the day, what you’re relying on – sufficiently powerful to justify the techniques you’re using. And the question there is, how strong is the evidence? How sensitive is the activity you’re looking at? And what are the alternatives?

I think when you step back here and say, what was this all based on?, it’s not sufficient.

Remember, there was and never has been any evidence of “collusion.” And yet, this campaign, and the President’s Administration has been dominated by this investigation into what turns out to be completely baseless.

[End]

Things to note in this:

  • Barr’s intentional and pointed use of the word “spy” to describe what the Coup Cabal did to the Trump Campaign. He knows this will cause Democrats and the media to fry their own brains. Epic.
  • Barr’s unqualified statement that “there was and never has been ANY evidence of ‘collusion.'” That tells you that he – and presumably also Durham – simply do not accept that there was ANY premise at all for operation “Crossfire Hurricane” to begin in the first place, nor was there ANY reason for the appointment of a special counsel, much less a two-year-long investigation by Mueller. That is bad, bad news for not just Comey, Strzok, Page and McCabe, but also for Mueller and Rosenstein, who made the decision to appoint Mueller based on…nothing.
  • Also very interesting is this statement’s phrasing: “… the greatest danger to our free system is that the incumbent government use the apparatus of the state…”. The use of the words “incumbent government” rather than the more limited “Department of Justice,” or the even  more limited “FBI” is very, very interesting, and implies that Barr and Durham are not limiting their investigation to those outside of the Obama White House, but may well be looking inside it as well. Boom, if so.
  • Then there’s the seemingly gratuitous noting of the fact that “…in most campaigns there are signs of illegal foreign money coming in.” Think about that one: Which two recent campaigns have been most prominent in having allegations of benefiting from foreign money? If you said “the Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton Campaigns,” you win the prize.

William Barr is a man with a well-earned history of choosing the words he uses carefully and with intent. He doesn’t just shoot his mouth off in public without giving a lot of forethought to exactly what the message is that he wants to convey.

There are a lot of very powerful messages directed at the bad actors from the Obama years in that short three-minute clip.

Those messages are also directed at those of you who still doubt Mr. Barr’s real intentions here. Are you listening?

Addendum: Here is another 57 seconds of that Barr interview and it is just as EPIC:

Transcript:

MSNBC Hack: So do you still stand by your statement that the Trump Campaign was spied upon?

Barr: [Incredulous that the question would even be asked.] Oh, it was CLEARLY spied upon. I mean, that’s what electronic surveillance is. I think wiring people up to go in and talk to people and make recordings of their conversations is spying. I think going through people’s emails, which they did as a result of the FISA warrant, they went through everything, you know, from Page’s life…

MSNBC Hack: Of course, he wasn’t in the campaign at the point where they got the surveillance…

Barr: [Even more incredulous at this raging hack.] No, but his emails go back. The main reason they were going for the FISA warrant initially was to go back historically and seize all his emails and texts and all that stuff from back – months and even years. So, they were covering the period when he was in the campaign and that’s exactly the reason they went for the FISA – to get that stuff.

John Ratcliffe Details Why Durham Time Has Arrived

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

First, in case you missed it because it came late yesterday afternoon, my summary of the Horowitz Report and its ramifications can be found hereThe IG Report: Not a Bombshell, But a Roadmap.

GOP Texas Congressman John Ratcliffe appeared on last night’s Fox Report with Bret Baier for an 8 minute segment. Ratcliffe’s answers to Baier’s questions are very revealing on a number of counts with a scattering of real bombshells throughout. Sad that neither Baier nor anyone else in the corrupt news media is curious enough to follow up on them. Below is the clip of that interview, followed by a transcript:

Here’s the transcript, compiled with laborious effort for the voracious readers who typify the fan base for Today’s Campaign Update. You’re welcome.:

Baier: I want to ask you about impeachment first. Is is a foregone conclusion that the House Democrats will vote on impeachment?

Ratcliffe: Yes. It appears the Democrats have burned the lifeboats behind them. They have made this decision, they’ve got nowhere to go. I think they have to answer to their base. I think it’s a terrible decision for the American people. You can see what it’s not based on – it is entirely political. But I gotta tell you, Brett: As a Republican, It’s good for us.

Baier: Do you have any reason to believe that any of your GOP colleagues will vote for impeachment?

Ratcliffe: No. On the other hand, I can say with pretty good certainty that there will be Democrats that won’t vote to impeach the President.

Baier: Do you think Nancy Pelosi has the votes right now?

Ratcliffe: I think she probably does. I think she won’t call the vote unless she has the votes, so I think she probably does. They’re going at breakneck speed. They’re losing support, and before they lose enough to get it across the finish line, and that’s why they want to have it next week after only being in the Judiciary Committee, the Committee of jurisdiction, for less than a week.

Baier: What happens if your side does not get a minority day hearing, which it doesn’t look like is going to happen?

Ratcliffe: We won’t. I think it will just demonstrate to the American people how perverted this process has been, how they won’t follow any of the precedents or standards, particularly as it relates to fairness during the process.

Baier: You mentioned today, an interview with the inspector general, with the intelligence committee…it’s a little hard to follow it here on set, ahh

Ratcliffe: It’s a little cryptic, I had to be. I had to be because it still hasn’t been released by Chairman Schiff. It’s the first deposition that was taken and it’s the only one that hasn’t been released. And the reason is – it doesn’t have anything to do with protecting the whistleblower’s identity: It has to do with protecting the whistleblower and Chairman Schiff from having their credibility questioned.

The whistleblower did not make truthful disclosures to the inspector general. I questioned the IG about that – the transcript will reveal that. That ought to be made public. No one should be voting to impeach an American president before they look at the real origins of this. The origins of this was not a whistleblower filing a complaint on August 12. It was a person who later became a whistleblower walking into Chairman Schiff’s office two weeks before that.

Baier: So you have zero hope that you will hear from Adam Schiff or the whistleblower.

Ratcliffe: He wasn’t even at the hearing today. He’s been making all of the decisions behind this and he wasn’t even at the hearing today.

Baier: Ok, let’s turn to the IG report – this is the Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, take a listen. [Plays a clip of Schumer lying about the IG report.] That was the top headline that the Democrats focused on in this line: “We did not find documentary or testimonial evidence of political bias or improper motivation.” You response?

Ratcliffe: So there’s two important things that went on here. One: Did the FBI meet the very low threshold for an articulate and factual basis to really suspect there was a threat to national security? The IG made the conclusion that they met that very low threshold to get the investigation started. The problem for the FBI and for the Democrats who want to somehow declare this as a victory is, everything after that is an indictment of the process. Even if there was a basis to open it, everything that came after it was exculpatory. There was no reason to continue it.

And the second part of this that’s really important is, when they got to the stage of a FISA application in October, as you see in here, this report is just completely full of what the IG politely says are errors and omissions. Another way of saying that is ‘lies, misrepresentations, false statements and a failure to turn over exculpatory information.

Baier: Is that what strikes you most about this report?

Ratcliffe:  Absolutely. It’s a validation of every one of us that’s been saying there was FISA abuse. It’s why the Attorney General’s statement today was, ‘this is clear evidence of FISA abuse.’ Unfortunately, we were right about that, and that’s a real problem for the FBI.

Baier: But this doesn’t back up the President’s ‘it’s a coup to take him down’ in this report…

Ratcliffe: Actually, I don’t know that you can say that, Brett…

Baier: …well, at least the IG says that.

Ratcliffe: Well, the IG’s role is to find facts, not to make conclusions, and actually I agree with most of the facts that the IG finds.  The facts in here say that the FBI’s senior leadership kept an investigation going where they knew they had no evidence – it was based on a dossier that was entirely unreliable and they knew it. And they did that, to continue an investigation into a candidate that later became President. And they didn’t have a basis to do that. And that’s in this report.

Baier: What about the criticism of Barr, that he comes out with this statement today, clearly differing on several points with the IG, and a short time later the U.S. Attorney, John Durham, puts out a statement in which he says his findings do not jive with what the IG finds. That’s pretty rare, is it not?

Ratcliffe: No, it’s not. Because really what it is is a sign of respect. John Durham waited until Horowitz’s report came out – that’s why he hasn’t made public statements. But now that the IG report is out, he is free to talk about the facts about what he has found. The first thing that he told you was, ‘I appreciate the IG, but my jurisdiction isn’t limited. I have greater jurisdiction, and what I have found isn’t consistent with his conclusions about that seminal issue, the predication issue.’

The AG’s special prosecutor in this case, John Durham, is saying, ‘I have a problem with the predication here. I disagree with the IG – there was not probable cause to open this investigation.’ So, I think…

Baier: Critics have said that ‘if he’s a prosecutor, does he make his case, bring it to a grand jury, make a charge before making a statement.’ Republicans were very critical of James Comey and what he did…

Ratcliffe: Absolutely, and he didn’t make a finding with respect to that [as Comey did]. What he said was, ‘I take with the IG’s findings and conclusions regarding the predication issue…’

Baier: He didn’t say what his was.

Ratcliffe: He didn’t say what his was. But I think it’s a clear sign of where he’s going on this, which is ‘I have greater jurisdiction. I’ve done a lot more with regard to this investigation,’ and I think in short order we are going to hear from John Durham that the predication just wasn’t there, as most of us really don’t see it even in this report.

Baier: So we’ve characterized, on our panel in talking about this, that there’s two tracks here: There’s the impeachment track, and then there’s this John Durham/IG track. Is it your sense that there’s a race now to figure out who’s gonna get to the finish line on what happens?

Ratcliffe:  I’ve said that all along, that that’s what’s driving this fast track [on impeachment]. They want to impeach this President so that when news like this comes out, they can say ‘gosh, we’re sorry there was FISA abuse, but this guy still should’ve been impeached.’ That’s why they’ve been racing through this. This report by itself, I think the more you look at it, the more you see, it’s an indictment of Jim Comey’s leadership at the FBI. This is a profound statement about how bad things were there with regard to an investigation that was continued without evidence to support it. I think folks at the FBI are horrified and dismayed by what’s in this report, and it’s only gonna get worse by what John Durham finds because he has the ability to go out and talk to the intelligence communities and people who weren’t working in the government.

[End]

To me, the most intriguing piece of this interview is Ratcliffe’s statement about there still being one more interview transcript – the very first interview taken in the basement of the Capitol Building – that Adam Schiff has refused to release. When you look at what Ratcliffe reveals about that transcript, that the witness says that Eric Ciaramella in fact walked into Schiff’s office two weeks before his fake whistleblower complaint was filed, you can see why Schiff refuses to release it.

After all, during the recent impeachment hearings before his Committee, Schiff very publicly and repeatedly denied assertions by GOP members that he knew the whistleblower’s identity and had in fact met Ciaramella. The fact that he refuses to release this single transcript would, in a world where we had an actual, working journalism profession, set off a firestorm of demands from the news media that Schiff release the transcript immediately.

But we don’t have an actual, working journalism profession in our country anymore, so no such firestorm will come.

Even more interesting to me is that what Ratcliffe said to Baier was not very “cryptic” at all, and probably violates Schiff’s dictatorial secrecy order about the content of any transcripts that haven’t been released. It will be interesting to see if Schiff attempts to retaliate. I doubt he will, because doing so might actually wake some of the lapdog fake journalists up from their nap on the subject.

The other reason why I took the time to transcribe this particular clip out of all the interview clips available this morning is because Ratcliffe himself is a former U.S. Attorney. He more than anyone understands how all these moving parts interrelate to one another.

Ratcliffe also reinforces what we pointed out here yesterday afternoon: That the real news about all of this is not what Horowitz’s report finds, but what Durham said in his statement that immediately followed the report’s release. Because it is Durham who has subpoena authority; it is Durham who has the power to compel testimony from witnesses outside of the DOJ/FBI employee base; it is Durham who has the power to impanel grand juries – which he has already done; and it is Durham who has the power to issue indictments and order arrests and stage perp walks.

The IG Report is out. Now, it’s Durham Time.

That is all.

IG Report: Not a Bombshell, But a Roadmap

Today’s Campaign Update, Part III
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

No, it’s not a “bombshell” that will satisfy Sean Hannity and his “Tick-tock” crew. Michael Horowitz was never going to deliver anything remotely like that, given his bias towards protecting the Department that pays his salary and the constraints under which he is required to perform his job.

The report released today at 1:00 ET contains no criminal referrals. Not one. It finds “no political bias” in the process that led the Obama-era coup cabal within the FBI and DOJ to apply for a FISA warrent to enable it to spy on members of the Trump Campaign, even though the report reminds us of Horowitz’s previous findings of heavy bias indicated in the texts between lovers Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. These abject failures on the part of Horowitz to really do his job will provide temporary succor to the lunatics at CNN and MSNBC, as well as the radical leftist Perpetual Outrage Mob on Twitter.

But that succor will likely be short-lived as the wheels of justice continue to slowly grind on.

To understand that, all you need to see is the following statement issued by U.S. Attorney John Durham in the immediate wake of the issuance of the Horowitz Report:

“I have the utmost respect for the mission of the Office of Inspector General and the comprehensive work that went into the report prepared by Mr. Horowitz and his staff. However, our investigation is not limited to developing information from within component parts of the Justice Department. Our investigation has included developing information from other persons and entities, both in the U.S. and outside of the U.S. Based on the evidence collected to date, and while our investigation is ongoing, last month we advised the Inspector General that we do not agree with some of the report’s conclusions as to predication and how the FBI case was opened.”

There’s your “boom.” There’s your “bombshell.”

In fairness to Horowitz, and as Mr. Durham concedes, the IG is limited by law and regulation in the scope of his investigation. He is able to only collect evidence from current and former DOJ/FBI employees. The IG has no subpoena power, no authority to compel documents from anyone outside the Department, and no authority to indict or prosecute anyone.

Mr. Durham has all of those things, along with the personal directive and cover coming from Attorney General William Barr.

In the current public context, Durham’s pointed rebuke of “some of the report’s conclusions” is not only surprising, it is in fact more than a little stunning. After all, Durham, as a DOJ employee, could find himself at some future point in time subject to an investigation led by Horowitz in his oversight responsibilities. The fact that he would issue this pointed and direct statement immediately after Horowitz’s own report is made public tells us volumes about the real level of disapproval Durham – and by extension, AG Barr – really hold for this report.

For his own part, Mr. Barr had this to say:

Image

On the other hand, as more and more out-takes from the Horowitz Report are made public, it is becoming evident it does hold value. Just as the Democrats had hoped that the Mueller Report would provide them with a “roadmap to impeachment”, it is beginning to look like the Horowitz Report could provide Barr and Durham with a “roadmap to prosecution” of many of the Obama-era bad actors.

Here are some examples of the key information Horowitz has laid out:

  • Horowitz confirms the FBI never corroborated any of Steele’s allegations against Carter Page: “The FBI did not have information corroborating the specific allegations against Carter Page in Steele’s reports when it relied upon them in the FISA applications.”
  • Further, in defending itself to the IG, the FBI contended that it didn’t have to corroborate anything to the FISA court and it had no obligation to determine whether Steele’s allegations were true. The FBI claimed its only obligation was to correctly transcribe Steele’s false charges. That is not what the law and regulations say. Not at all.
  • Of applications for warrants to spy on US citizen Carter Page, IG says “numerous instances in which factual representations in those applications were inaccurate, incomplete, or unsupported by appropriate documentation.”
  • Massive counterintelligence investigation (Crossfire Hurricane) against the presidential campaign of opposing party was started solely on a tip from a foreign government, nothing else, according to Horowitz. A few days later, four campaign officials were targeted, because they’d been to Russia or talked to Russians.
  • Horowitz conclusion about this extraordinarily flimsy excuse: he’s “concerned” about investigation handling given “constitutionally protected activity occurring during a national presidential campaign.” He’s also “concerned” about “intrusive investigative techniques that could impact constitutionally protected activity.” Such “concern,” but no action. No criminal referrals, no internal disciplinary actions recommended – just “concern.”
  • Horowitz says DOJ/FBI officials all agreed that they should launch massive counterintelligence probe on the basis of that one uncorroborated tip and not tell the campaign, in case they were all in on it. Yet, Horowitz finds “no political bias” in that decision.
  • Horowitz found that the FBI falsely claimed to the FISA Court not only that Carter Page was a Russian agent, but also falsely claimed that an unnamed intelligence agency had told the FBI that Page was “not a source” in their efforts to surveil and curtail Russian intelligence efforts.
  • Ahead of an application to renew the spy warrant in 2017, a top FBI lawyer doctored evidence from the unnamed agency which confirmed that contrary to FBI claims that he was a Russian spy, Page had in fact assisted the United States in its efforts to counter Russian operations. An e-mail from the agency that clearly stated Page was “a source” for them was doctored by Kevin Clinesmith, a top FBI national security lawyer, to give the opposite impression to the federal spy court.

There will no doubt be more revelations as the day goes on, but these give you a flavor of the real, damning information contained in this report that you will not see reported on CNN or MSNBC.

Again to be fair to Horowitz, a generous reading of this situation could be that he held back on making any criminal or disciplinary recommendations in this report in order to leave those decisions up to Barr and Durham. That’s certainly possible, although the blunt tone of Durham’s statement implies a true dissatisfaction with the IG’s findings, or lack thereof.

In any event, the IG report contains a lot of fodder for Durham’s efforts. Let’s hope he makes good use of every bit of it.

The future of the American Republic depends on these bad actors being brought to real justice.

That is all.

Lindsey Graham: I’m Gonna End This as Quickly as I Can for the Good of the Country

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Sen. Lindsey Graham turned up on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo earlier today. He only did one segment, but a lot was said about the impeachment process. Graham, as is his habit, tossed out a lot of red meat that will infuriate some observers and please others, and vice versa. He got all sides covered, as usual.

His basic message was this: Impeachment is tearing the country apart, and because of that he is not going to extend it by doing things like allowing the President of the United States to call the witnesses he wants, or to force Adam Schiff to testify under oath about his pre-dealings with Eric Ciaramella, who everyone knows is the fake whistleblower who kicked this whole thing off. There will be no testimony from Hunter Biden or Joe Biden or Alexandra Chalupa or anyone else, if Graham has his way.

Graham’s grand plan is to – I kid you not – give the Democrats one more bite at the apple, allow them to present their slanderous joke of a “case” on national TV one more time, and then hold a vote if he has 51 Senators who will vote “yay” or “nay.” He promises the President will be acquitted, but with this guy, who really knows?

Below is a clip of Graham’s interview with Bartiromo, followed by a transcript provided after great and laborious effort for our voracious readers by your friends at the Campaign Update. Judge Sen. Graham’s intentions for yourselves.

Transcript:

Bartiromo plays clip of Graham on November 10, lambasting Schiff and House Dems for not allowing the “whistleblower” – CIA plant Eric Ciaramella – to testify, and saying that impeachment is “dead on arrival” when it lands in the Senate, largely as a result of that failure.

Bartiromo: You said that to me a few weeks ago – does it still apply today?

Graham: Well, the whole process is illegitimate in the house. It’s not just the whistleblower. You don’t want to create a situation where an anonymous person can start impeachment proceedings against a president of the United States. You can’t get a parking ticket based on an anonymous allegation. The hearings were held behind closed doors, the Intel committee gathered all the facts, the President’s lawyer was never allowed to participate, they asked to call witnesses in the Judiciary committee, they had one hearing of the Judiciary committee with 4 law professors and Nancy Pelosi said we’re gonna move forward with the articles of impeachment.

This is a joke of a process. It’s dangerous to the country, it’s the first impeachment scenario in the country started in-house, not with outside counsel.  Whitewater – Prosecutor Ken Starr. You had Mueller looking at all things Russia and Trump, you had prosecutors in the Nixon case, outside the system.  This is being driven by Schiff and Nadler, Pelosi – partisan people – and I think it’s gonna meet a quick end in the Senate.

Bartiromo: Who are some of the people you are gonna want to hear from if in fact this does go to a trial?  Are you gonna demand that people like the whistleblower, Adam Schiff, Alexandra Chalupa, Fusion GPS – are these some of the people you’re gonna want to question?

Graham: There’s two ways to do this. In the trial, you can have the President present a defense to prove the fact that maybe the Ukraine was interfering in our election. The Russians stole the emails, not the Ukraine, but there’s articles suggesting that Ukrainian officials met with Democratic operatives in 2016. I don’t know if that’s true.

But here’s what I’m gonna do with the trial: I’m gonna try to get this over as quickly as possible. Listen to what the house case…let them present their case, and if there’s nothing new and dramatic, I would be ready to vote and we can do all this other stuff through congressional oversight [which of course will never happen in Graham’s committee].

Bartiromo: So, are you saying you are not gonna have people come down and test…

Graham: I am saying that I’m gonna end this as quickly as I can for the good of the country. When 51 of us say we have heard enough, the trial is going to end. The President’s gonna be acquitted. He wanna call Schiff, he may wanna call Hunter Biden, he may wanna call Joe Biden, but here’s my advice to the President: If the Senate is ready to vote and ready to acquit you, you should celebrate that and we can look at this other stuff outside of impeachment. Impeachment is tearing the country apart, I don’t wanna give it any more credibility than it deserves.

Bartiromo: Well, it’s interesting that you say that, because for all of this time – yes, they’re trying to rush this through, the Democrats want to get this done before the end of the year, and before the Iowa Caucuses and before we learn more about the IG Report, and yet there seems to have been a wrecking ball thrown at our democracy with Adam Schiff getting peoples’ phone records…I mean, what do you think about that? Schiff getting the phone records of Devin Nunes, of John Solomon?

Graham: I think it’s dangerous. What he did was, I think, looking a Rudy, and Rudy made some calls to these folks…

Bartiromo:…so Rudy’s not allowed to make these phone calls???

Graham: No, he certainly can. But here’s what I would tell Adam Schiff: Do you really wanna start calling other members, Republicans, members of congress in oversight? Do you want me to call you to the Senate as part of Senate oversight? Where does this insanity go?

Bartiromo: So will you call him?

Graham: No I will not.

Bartiromo: Why?

Graham: ‘Cause I’m not gonna participate in things I think will destroy the country. I’m not gonna call a bunch of House members to come to the Senate as part of oversight. Now, if you’re a House member and you participated, you’re not subject, you’re not above the law, but we’re not gonna turn the Senate into a circus. And I would  tell Schiff: What you’re doing is very dangerous for the separation of powers here.

Bartiromo: Just the idea of getting that information into the public view, so that the public can start speculating, ‘oh, why did Giuliani make that call, and why was John Solomon on the phone with Giuliani,’ it’s…

Graham: Adam Schiff is doing a lot of damage to the country, and he needs to stop. Mueller spent two years and $25 million looking a Trump. This whole Ukrainian stuff is a joke. They got the money. The got the meeting with the President. They didn’t investigate Joe Biden or Hunter Biden. There is no ‘there’ there.

Bartiromo: I understand, but it’s not stopping, Senator. You say, he needs to stop, but it’s not, for three years he said ‘collusion’ is in plain sight.

Graham: Yeah, well the guy…

Bartiromo: Where’s the accountability for that? Let me hear your thoughts on the IG report, do you think that’s…

Graham: The accountability comes in November 2020 when the public sees what the House has done with their majority. They’ve spent all their time trying to destroy the Trump presidency, they’ve done nothing beneficial to the American people. You know who may be the most valuable player for the Republican Party in the 2020 election cycle? It’s Adam Schiff [who Lindsey refuses to call to testify].

Bartiromo: unh-huh.

[End]

Now, we could argue this either way. Graham’s argument that a quick resolution in the Senate is best for the country has merit: There is no question that this impeachment fiasco has been horrible for our country.

But to just call a vote after giving these despicable Democrats another nationally-televised chance to lay out their joke of a case? To do that without giving the accused a chance to defend himself by laying out a case of his own not only seems unfair, but also completely contrary to the American system of justice.

The very concept should be frankly offensive to Lindsey Graham, the former lawyer. But to Lindsey Graham the current politician, acolyte to the detestable John McCain – whose own hands are dirty in all of this – and longtime friend of Quid Pro Joe Biden, well, it no doubt sounds fantastic.

Bottom line: While this impeachment clown show has obviously been terrible for the country, what is really tearing our country apart is our ongoing bifurcated system of justice, which Graham’s proposed solution here would only serve to strengthen.

P.S.: No one should forget this moment from Graham and McCain:

The more you know…

Why Impeachment Will Now Become a Permanent Fixture of Government

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

If you think a Senate acquittal of President Donald Trump will put Nancy Pelosi’s clown show to rest for good, think again. – The Democrats will get their dummied-up articles of impeachment voted out just before Christmas as a gift to their lunatic Perpetual Outrage Mob on Twitter, irrevocably staining our nation’s history as a result. Many people are thinking right now that that will mean they can breathe a sigh of relief, since the Senate trial will likely result in an acquittal of the President, meaning he and congress will then spend most of 2020 conducting the nation’s business.

Well, if that is your thought process, you really should think again. Several Democrat members of congress, including Jabba the Nadler and even San Fran Nan herself, have made it quite clear this week that they consider getting to these articles of impeachment just sort of step one in what they hope will become a never-ending process throughout the duration of the Trump Administration.

We have this prevailing thought process among the corrupt media’s pundit class that Pelosi has been a reluctant, almost unwilling participant in all of this, but nothing could be further from the truth. People tend to forget that Mollie Hemingway of the Federalist, while riding an Amtrak train the day after the 2018 elections, overheard Jabba the Nadler having a telephone conversation in which he laid out his and Pelosi’s plans to convert the House Judiciary, Oversight and Intelligence committees into tools for a continuous impeachment effort, targeting not just President Trump, but Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh as well.

Nadler’s conversation was not just idle boast – everything Hemingway documented in her piece about that call has in fact materialized. The Democrats haven’t gotten around to Kavanaugh yet, but the key word in that sentence is “yet.”

This impeachment clown show could not have been conducted in the way that it has been unless Pelosi actively and willingly conspired with her committee chairmen – Adam Schiff, Jabba the Nadler and the late Elijah Cummings (now the detestable Carolyn Maloney) – to write new committee rules for this congressional session that were designed to facilitate the effort. None of this would have taken place had Pelosi not willingly and with malice aforethought authorized the spending of millions of extra dollars for these committees to arm themselves with a raft of radical leftist Lawfare lawyers, who wrote those committee rules and have managed the committee efforts on behalf of the bumbling chairmen.

It was no doubt the Lawfare lawyers authorized by Pelosi who came up with the whole idea of going after the President via the “whistleblower” construct, a strategy that has allowed them to keep the guy who supposedly initiated the whole thing under wraps, even though everyone in Washington knows his name is Eric Ciaramella. Every public word Pelosi has spoken about this effort – from her supposed reluctance to move forward to her insistence that any impeachment effort would have to be bipartisan and even to her despicable claims to “pray” for the President has been an outright lie.

She planned all of this, working hand-in-hand with her committee chairmen and the Lawfare lawyers that she authorized the money for, from the beginning. Even those subpoenas Schiff issued so he could spy on Devin Nunes and John Solomon and who knows who else were signed off on by the Speaker of the House.

This is her deal.

As of today, she has no motivation to end it and put her committees back to doing actual work once she has obtained her articles of impeachment. Why? Because this entire fiasco has produced literally zero change in public opinion. As of today, the President’s average public approval rating in recent national polls at RealClearPolitics sits at 43.7%, which is within 1% of where it stood at the first of September, when the Democrat/media Axis of Propaganda started promoting the Ukraine hoax.

So, this latest tactic in the never-ending coup d’etat against the President has produced neither positive nor negative results for the Democrats. But their problem is, it’s all they have. They know that none of the array of corrupt hacks in their presidential field has a prayer of actually defeating President Trump in next year’s election, so their only real hope of ridding themselves from their midst is to just keep digging in hopes they will at long last finally dig up something in Trump’s past that will stick to him.

Given that 98% of the corrupt news media does nothing but serve as the Democrat Party’s giant organ grinder monkey, there is no political price for Pelosi or anyone in her caucus to pay for turning impeachment into a permanent fixture of American government.

The only way this clown show will end would be for the American voter to stop voting for these despicable, depraved, demented Democrats.

That is all.

Schiff’s Spying on Nunes Imperils All of Us

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

One presidential loser endorses another. – In years past, the endorsement by one former Democrat presidential nominee of a guy who is the current front-runner for the 2020 Democrat nomination would have seemed like  a bit of a non-event. After all, John Kerry and Joe Biden are old Senate colleagues who have been working together to destroy our nation from within for many decades now, so the endorsement by Kerry of his old running buddy on Thursday seems like a natural fit – one past loser endorsing a future loser, as it were.

But then you realize that Joe Biden is the father of ne’er-do-well son Hunter Biden, and Kerry is the stepfather of ne’er-do-well son Chris Heinz, and that both sons have profited to the tune of many, many millions of dollars in their shake-down schemes involving Ukraine and China, and suddenly the endorsement takes on a whole new, almost desperate dynamic, doesn’t it?

Why yes, yes it does. The more you know…

If you still don’t understand exactly how power-mad the Democrats in congress truly are, will the fact that they are now spying on and doxxing fellow members of congress help to convince you? – We here at the Campaign Update have repeatedly invoked comparisons of conduct of the ongoing impeachment clown show by Adam Schiff, Gerrold Nadler and Nancy Pelosi to the basement interrogations and show trials that we used think only happened in Stalinist Soviet Russia and other totalitarian regimes.

We have made those comparisons for good reason: Because they are entirely accurate, right down to Schiff’s conducting of witness interrogations in an actual basement and selectively leaking only the parts of the interviews he wanted for public consumption. Now we have news that we would have thought simply impossible in a constitutional republic just a handful of years ago, news that Schiff has actually been researching metadata records collected by the intelligence community and culling through it in an effort to spy on Republican members of congress.

Nunes appeared on Fox News with the constantly-interrupting Martha MacCallum on Thursday evening to explain exactly the process that Schiff used in his spying operation and the motives behind doing so. Given that the clip below contains subtitles for all the studious readers out there, I did not take the time to try to build a transcript of it:

It is important to understand exactly how unprecedented this situation is. Schiff’s actions, if they go unpunished by Pelosi and the Democrat-majority House “Ethics” Committee now set the precedent of a sitting Speaker approving one member of congress literally spying on the activities of another. It is completely beyond the pale. Sadly, they surely will go unpunished since the Dems on that Committee are every bit as corrupt as Schiff, and Schiff certainly had Pelosi’s approval before going down this road.

Schiff and Pelosi, by using this method – no doubt at the urging of their outside Lawfare Alynskyite lawyers – now open the door for future GOP majorities and speakers and committee chairs to employ the exact same sorts of tactics. Think of it as open warfare and imagine how the tensions and retaliatory actions will escalate over time.

Schiff and Pelosi also went after and received the records of journalist John Solomon, who has become a social outcast among his corrupt media peers for filing a series of extraordinarily well-sourced reports on the Ukraine situation, reports that actually follow the rules of ethical journalism that have been almost outlawed now in the corrupt national news media. Had Nunes and then-Speaker Paul Ryan gone after some hack at the New York Times during the previous two years, the media would have been in full outrage mode for years. But because this is a case of Democrats going after an actual working journalist, the response from the media establishment has been crickets.

This is a truly frightening development for our country. We now have the majority party in one house of congress actively spying on members of the minority party and members of the press, and placing the results of their spying into a formal committee report. Even more frightening is the fact that the press – which is supposed to serve as the public’s watchdog holding abusive politicians accountable – is as a group sitting in Pelosi’s lap begging her to give another scratch of its collective head with her gnarly fingers.

What this all tells us is that the Democrats and their media toadies view this impeachment effort as an all-or-nothing game. They view President Trump as a truly existential threat to their bases of power and corrupt way of life and are willing to go to any lengths to rid him from their midst.

Despite all the seemingly comforting words coming from some GOP members of the Senate, no one should just assume that the Republican majority there will hold together and kill this atrocity of an impeachment effort once it falls into their laps. After all, if the Democrats have no compunction against spying on their fellow members of the House, do you think they would hesitate for a moment to take similar actions against vulnerable GOP members of the Senate?

Remember: This is the party of the Clintons we are talking about here.

The next few months are a very dangerous time for our country. Don’t kid yourselves otherwise.

That is all.

A Slurring, Bumbling Pelosi Demands Articles of Impeachment

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

[Note: Today’s Campaign Update will be on a delayed morning schedule from November 30 through  December 4.]

In an utterly predictable move the Democrats have been planning to take since the day after the 2016 elections, a slurring and bumbling Nancy Pelosi announced this morning that she is asking her committee Chairmen, Jabba the Nadler and Bugeyes Schiff, to go ahead and vote out their articles of impeachment that were written for them by a bunch of radical leftist Lawfare lawyers. No surprise and really no big deal.

Here’s a clip of Pelosi’s embarrassing performance, followed by a partial, verbatim transcript:

Transcript – all misspellings and grammar errors are exactly as they came out of the doddering Speaker’s mouth:

Lel us begin where our Founders began in 1776. “When in the course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to zuh, to dizzolve the policul bonds which have connected them with another.”

With those words, our founders courageously began our deculrashun of independence. [deep breath] From an oppressive monarch. For among other grievances the King’s refusal to follow rightfully passed laws. In the course of today’s events it becomes necessary for us to address among other grievances the President’s failure to fafully execute the laws [hard stop with lips oddly pursed].

hwhen crafting thuh conssstution the founders feared the return of a moncarchy. In America. Hahhvin just fought a war for independunce they specifically feared the prospect of a king president corrupted by foreign influence. During the constitushonul convention James Madison, the architect of he constitution warned that a pressdunt migh betray his trusht to foreign powers.

Whish migh prove fatal to the Repubuc.

Another founder, Governor Morris  feared that a presdint may be bribed by a greater interest. To betray his trust. He empasized that this magistrut is uh not thuh king. The people are the king [weird grin at this thought].

They therefor cruayted a constitutional remedy to protecth gainst a dangerous [swallows something, perhaps the gerbel running around in her mouth] or a corrupt leader. [another swallo, perhaps the gerbel’s tail got stuck in her dentures].

Impeachment.

Unless the constitution contained an impeachment provision. One founder warrened. A prezdent migh s quo “spare no effort or means whatsoever to get himself [rapid eye-blinking here] re-elected. Simillly, George Mason insisted that a prezdunt who procured his appointment in the first instance through improper and corrupt acts might repeat his guilt and return to power.

[End of partial transcript]

It goes on for another three minutes, but you get the point. The Democrats are simply carrying the “Russia Collusion” fantasy they invented in mid-2016 to its final conclusion. Indeed, in response to a reporter’s question, Pelosi bluntly stated that “This isn’t about Ukraine, it’s about Russia.” It’s a despicable, depraved disgrace to the constitution and congress, but hey, it’s Nancy Pelosi and her gang of circus clowns – what else would you expect?

The best part came after San Fran Nan was finished. As she was leaving the room, Fox News reporter James Rosen asked her if she hates the President. Watch this demented reaction from the person who is, frighteningly, just two steps from the presidency:

Transcript:

I don, I don’t hate anybody [wagging her finger at the reporter like a deranged school marm screaming at her kids to get down off those monkey bars].

We don’ hate anybody, no anybody in the world. You accuse me of ma

Reporter: I did not accuse you.

You did. You did.

Rosen: I asked a question.

You did.

Rosen: Representative Collins yesterday suggested that the Democrats are doing this simply because they don’t like the guy…

I din…I had nothing to do with that I s….I think that this Prezdunt is a coward when it comes to helping our, our, our, um, kids…who are fraid…uh, um gun violence. I think he is cwuel when he dudn’t deal with uh,uh, helping the dreamers, th, of which we are very proud.

I think he is in denial about the constitution, about the uh, climate crissses. However, that’s about the election. This is about the ele..take it up in the elect…This is about the constitution of the Unit states and the facts that lead to thuh prezduntsh [dentures getting loose in her mouth now] of is oaf of office.

[Now this lifelong promoter killing babies plays the “as a Catholic” card] As a Catholic, I rusen you using the word…hate in a sentence that addresses me [says the most hateful woman in the history of the United States congress].

I don hate anyone, I was waised in a way that is full…a heart full of love…and pray for the Prezdunt. And I still pray for the Prezdunt. I pway for the Prezdunt all the time. So don mess wif me when it comes to words like that.

[End]

You seriously could never make these people up. Not in a million years. This woman needs help.

How the Coup Plotters Have Ensnared Themselves in a Trap of Their Own Making

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

I’m old enough to remember when MSNBC’s fake on-air talent was condemning others for spreading conspiracy theories. – There really are no depths to which MNSBC and CNN will not plumb in order to give Deep State enemies of the people a paid microphone on their fake news programs.

The latest hired contributor at MSNBC is the sleazy ex-U.S. attorney Andrew Weissman, otherwise known as the guy who really ran the Mueller Witch Hunt and wrote the Mueller Report. Appearing with fake host and former George W. Bush adviser, the truly demented Nicolle Wallace on Friday, Weissman made it clear that, once the current Democrat/media Ukraine narrative has crashed and burned in spectacularly failed fashion, the Deep State coup plotters plan to go right back to pushing their spectacularly failed Russia Collusion conspiracy theory.

Asked by Wallace about the alleged call between Ambassador Gordon Sondland and President Trump, which supposedly was placed on Sondland’s unsecured cell phone in a Kiev restaurant, Weissman speculated that it’s all part of a grand conspiracy by Mr. Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin to fix the 2020 election!

I swear I do not make this stuff up:

“You know that call is going to be monitored by the Russians… Do you care about the Russians having it?”

“Why weren’t the president and Ambassador Sondland worried about the fact that the Russians would undoubtedly in Ukraine be able to hear this conversation?” he then asked.

“If your thinking is ‘I don’t care because the Russians will be siding with me in the 2020 election,’ then you’re all on the same team,” the former Mueller prosecutor hypothesized.

So, there you have it, folks: The Democrats and their willing media co-conspirators signaling their plans for the next chapter in their never-ending coup d’etat efforts. No doubt they already have folks at Fusion GPS, Crowdstrike and Christopher Steele – along with some high-powered law firm through which they can launder all the money – signed to contracts to assist in the next effort to frame a President of the United States.

This latest revelation by one of the leading figures in the endless series of coup plots goes back to the question posed here at the Campaign Update on November 10: How Does the Never-ending Coup d’etat End?

Of course, the better question to ask is, does this never-ending coup d’etat effort ever end? The answer to that is obviously a resounding “NO.” It will just continue, morphing into the next false narrative even as the previous narrative crashes and burns, becoming increasingly shrill, careless and violent as time goes on and the plotters’ frustrations mount.

This is a game the Democrats can play with America’s very existence since they control 95% of the corrupt national news media, and it is a game they feel they must play since Donald Trump’s very presence in the office of the presidency threatens to expose and destroy the continued ability of the DC Swamp denizens to fleece the nation – and other nations, as Quid Pro Joe and his ne’er-do-well son Hunter blatantly did in Ukraine and China.

Make no mistake about this: Donald Trump is going to be re-elected next year in what is shaping up to become an epic electoral college landslide. He is going to be President of the United States of America for five more years, and the never-ending coup d’etat will continue for the duration, and even after he has left office.

The simple fact of the matter is that the coup plotters and their media co-conspirators have no choice now. They’ve come this far and completely exposed themselves to anyone who is paying attention. Even if the Democrats wanted to chuck it all and try to focus on actually doing real government stuff, they are completely bankrupt of any policy ideas that are not already proven failures.

Add that to this new reality: The Republicans are suddenly, finally starting to strike back. We now know the Horowitz Report, as timid and white-washing as it no doubt will be in its findings, will be released on December 9. We know that Attorney General William Barr and U.S. Attorney John Durham continue to expand the scope of their own investigation into the origins of the never-ending coup. And we know that Senate Republicans are gearing up to mount a long and aggressive Senate trial effort once the House sends over its inevitable baseless articles of impeachment, with even Lindsey Graham suddenly sending out letters and demanding all sorts of information from the State Department.

Thus, even if the Democrats wanted to bring the coup plot to a screeching halt, the inertia they’ve created with their Russia Collusion and Ukraine hoaxes now makes that impossible to achieve.

How does the never-ending coup end? It doesn’t, because the Democrats and their willing, corrupt media co-conspirators have ensnared themselves in a trap of their own making.

That is all.

Did Nikki Haley Just Reveal the Leaders of the 25th Amendment Push?

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Tired of all this #WINNING yet? Yeah, neither am I. – For what seems like the 16,000th time during President Donald Trump’s term in office, the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at yet another record high on Monday, as the Trump economy just keeps roaring along. Democrats and fake journalists everywhere were doubling up on their depression meds as the markets closed.

When Nikki Haley speaks, people listen. – When people start surveying the GOP landscape post-Trump, whether that comes in January after being removed from the the presidency by the Senate (which is not likely to happen), in January 2021 after a loss in the 2020 election (also not in the cards) or in January 2025 following the completion of his second term in office (bingo!), the survey inevitably lands to the name of Nikki Haley as one of his most likely successors.

Other names also arise, of course: Names like Mike Pence and Mike Pompeo and Ted Cruz, and the less obvious names like Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan and even Texas Congressman Dan Crenshaw. Lindsey Graham, with his thrice-weekly appearances on one Fox News evening program or another, is obviously angling for another run at the gig, as are Rand Paul and even Kanye West. But inevitably, the name of Nikki Haley always comes up.

She is, after all, a former successful governor of South Carolina, and a person who, after not really being on board with the Trump Train during the 2016 campaign, created a very high profile for herself as Trump’s very loyal, very aggressive and very outspoken UN Ambassador. Although her record as Governor was decidedly mixed from a conservative perspective, perhaps more than any of Trump’s cabinet-level officials, Haley has stood out as the most aggressive advocate for his international policies.

Thus it is that anything she has to say about the goings-on inside White House during her two-year tenure is given a lot of weight by most Trump supporters. In a Sunday interview with Kelly O’Donnell of CBS, Haley basically accused both then-Chief of Staff John Kelly and then-Secretary of State Rex Tillerson of rank insubordination, even though she said they claimed that was not their intent.

Here’s the key outtake:

Haley recounts a closed-door encounter with then-White House Chief of Staff John Kelly and then-Secretary of State Rex Tillerson: “Kelly and Tillerson confided in me that when they resisted the president, they weren’t being insubordinate, they were trying to save the country … Tillerson went on to tell me the reason he resisted the president’s decisions was because, if he didn’t, people would die. This was how high the stakes were, he and Kelly told me. We are doing the best we can do to save the country, they said. We need you to work with us and help us do it. This went on for over an hour.”

O’Donnell asked, “You memorialized that conversation? It definitely happened?”

“It absolutely happened,” said Haley. “And instead of saying that to me, they should’ve been saying that to the president, not asking me to join them on their sidebar plan. It should’ve been, ‘Go tell the president what your differences are, and quit if you don’t like what he’s doing.’ But to undermine a president is really a very dangerous thing. And it goes against the Constitution, and it goes against what the American people want. And it was offensive.”

[We asked them to respond. John Kelly tells “Sunday Morning”: “If by resistance and stalling she means putting a staff process in place … to ensure the (president) knew all the pros and cons of what policy decision he might be contemplating so he could make an informed decision, then guilty as charged.”]

Undermining a president from the inside is indeed a very dangerous thing, as Haley notes, and her accusation against Kelly and Tillerson rings true given everything else we know about the two men and their behavior while serving in those positions. Tillerson repeatedly made his personal disdain for the President and his lack of support for Trump policies related to North Korea, China and other parts of the world very clear while serving as SOS, which is the main reason why his tenure in the office was so short. Kelly’s first move after moving into his Chief of Staff role was not to go after the myriad leakers inside the White House, but rather to cut the President off from his most loyal supporters and start to systematically force them out of their jobs.

Rumors have run rampant for more than two years now that both men were willing participants in the mid-2017 plot to dummy up a rationale for removing Trump from office under the 25th Amendment, a plot we know beyond any reasonable doubt that Rod Rosenstein was a part of. If you believe in the whole “where there’s smoke there’s fire” paradigm, it seems extremely likely that those persistent rumors must have some basis in reality.

If Haley’s contention about the approach by Tillerson and Kelly is accurate – and there is little reason to believe that it is not – then it would be consistent with a move that would be made as a part of a larger 25th amendment effort targeting the President. Haley’s contention here, and cryptic use of the term “sidebar plan,” is troubling in the extreme, and Tillerson’s refusal to even respond to it does not reflect well on him. Kelly’s response, which does not in any way address the accusation, may be even worse.

As mentioned earlier, Haley’s interview – promoting her new book – is also a not-so-subtle attempt to keep herself in the public eye, ready to quickly move in the unlikely event of Trump’s actual removal by the Senate. The following passage reveals that part of her personal agenda:

Haley insists she has no immediate plans to run for any office, including the presidency, and as she departed the Trump administration last year she said, “I can promise you what I’ll be doing is campaigning for this one.”

She told O’Donnell, “A year is a long time in politics. It really is a lifetime in politics. And so, I think what’s best for me is take it a year at a time and see what happens.”

With her new book, lucrative speaking engagements, and a seat on the corporate board of Boeing, Nikki Haley acknowledges there are still chapters to be written:  “I’m too young to stop fighting. I’ll always be out there. I’ll always use the power of my voice for what I believe is good.”

So, whether the jumping off point becomes early 2020, early 2021 or the 2024 election campaign, you can be sure that Nikki Haley will be vying to become the face of the GOP in the wake of the Trump presidency. Lining herself up as this President’s most loyal and vocal supporter helps her cause immensely.

That is all.

How Does the Never-ending Coup d’etat End?

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

So, how does it all end? – Oh, we know how the Democrats’ “impeachment” circus is going to end – with a rejection of articles of impeachment in the U.S. Senate. They’ll get support from several disloyal RINOs, snakes like Mitt Romney and maybe one or two others to whom personal ambition and preservation of their slice of the DC Swamp gravy train outweighs standing up for the rule of law and the sanctity of America’s electoral process. But in the end, the senate will reject the Schiff/Pelosi impeachment effort – that much is a given.

No, what I’m talking about here, and what every loyal American needs to be thinking about as the never-ending coup d’etat approaches its third anniversary, is how does that all end? What is the ultimate end game there? The coup cabal leaders have now had 33 months of the Trump Administration to catch or entrap or frame President of the United States in the commissions of a crime – any old real, actual crime would do – and have come up miserable failures in that effort.

And their record of abject failure is even worse than that when one considers that the efforts to entrap or frame Donald Trump actually started way back in November 2015, when it became obvious he would win the GOP nomination, which means we are really right at the fourth anniversary of this ongoing bit of treasonous action. After those four long years, the coup cabal has come up with…bupkis. Zero. Zip. Zilch. A big ol’ bag of nothing.

So, how does this all end? Does it just keep on going for five more years, through the end of President Trump’s second term in office? Because a second Trump term is almost an inevitability at this point unless the coup cabal can find a way to get rid of him without an election. This impeachment farce ain’t gonna get it done.

The Democrats and their corrupt media toadies can pontificate all they want about impeachment being “a purely political thing,” but the American people are obviously unmoved by that false argument. The Constitution’s discussion of impeachment contains the specific words “high crimes and misdemeanors” for a reason, and the clear evidence of the peoples’ belief in that reason is that today, after hearing this false “it’s just politics” argument 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the last 2 months, the President’s public approval ratings stand exactly where they stood way back when all this began.

The evidence of just how miserably the coup cabal has failed in its efforts to move the nation’s opinion of the President was heard and seen loud and clear at Alabama’s Bryant Denny Stadium yesterday:

Yes, that’s real America, that vast middle 80% of the nation that lies between the regions occupied by the coastal elites. Real America is Trump Country, and those people will not peacefully tolerate the removal of this President from office by these illegitimate means.

So, if the people are unmoved by the farce, what happens next and how does this all end? Can the coup cabal really sustain this long-running fantasy play for nine long years? Are they really just planning to keep running through the same tiresome playbook over and over again until it somehow works? The word for that is insanity, and it is a very apt description of what they continue to put the nation through in their mad quest for power.

How does this all end? If the last 33 months have taught us nothing else, they have taught us that the federal administrative state is filled to the gills with disloyal Obama holdovers and career bureaucrats who are perfectly willing to subvert the Constitution and the electoral process in order to affect their own personal political agenda. The Alexander Vindmans and Eric Ciaramellas are not outliers at the National Security Council or the CIA – they’re closer to the norm, a norm that also exists within the bureaucracies of the State Department, the Department of the Interior, the EPA and most other bureaucracies of the federal government.

These people are like cancerous cells flowing through the vessels of the Trump Administration, doing everything they can each and every day to make it impossible for the President to govern as he was elected to do. This disloyalty, this active mendacity and seditious activity within the bureaucracy is not a “new” thing per se. President Reagan, and to a lesser extent, Bush 41 and Bush 43 had to deal with it, though at a far less intense level.

What’s different this time is scale of it, and its audacity. Before now, the Deep State had always lurked in the shadows, careful to hide its ambitions and activities. But now, we have the spectacle of it dressing itself up in fully military regalia – Vindman – in clear violation of the military code of conduct and having no one in the military chain of command utter a peep of objection or condemnation.

We have the lawyer for Ciaramella, the fake whistleblower who played the role of kicking off the whole impeachment farce, bragging about a coup and publicly recruiting other whistleblowers on his twitter feed. We have the leader of the impeachment farce, Adam Schiff, denying the GOP members of his committee the right to even ask questions of Ciaramella under the false argument that whistleblowers are guaranteed a right to remain anonymous. Completely false.

This is audacious. It’s right out in the open, and if you’re thinking the coup cabal will just fold up its collective tent and suddenly become loyal Americans again once their impeachment effort fails, you are living in an alternative reality. It should be obvious to everyone by now that that is just not going to happen.

So, what does the duly-elected President of the United States do once he is exonerated by the duly-elected U.S. Senate? To quote Ezekiel 25:17, he is “beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men,” to such an extent that it is now bordering on impacting not just the President’s security, but the security of this nation. Which of course is the goal of this cabal of evil, disloyal people.

How does this all end once the impeachment farce fails? How will the President deal with the skunks and snakes that Obama left embedded in the administrative state? He knows who many of them are by now, but federal employment laws make it almost impossible to get rid of them. He theoretically could issue an executive order declaring an emergency, suspending those laws and enabling his cabinet officials herd the snakes and skunks out of their ranks, but would they do it?

Would Christopher Wray take the opportunity to clean out his raging dumpster fire at the FBI? Would Gina Haspel use the chance to get rid of Ciaramella and his compatriots within her ranks at the CIA? And what about the Pentagon – the Vindman spectacle makes you wonder exactly where the loyalties at the Joint Chiefs of Staff lie at this point.

How does this all end? Or does it just keep going on and on and on until the Democrats and the corrupt news media and the deep state minions achieve their ultimate goal of taking the country into another Civil War?

Good question. I wish we knew the answer.

That is all.

Why Paul Sperry’s Outing Of the Whistleblower, Eric Ciaramella, Is Important

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

The media wall of conspiratorial silence has been breached. – The identity of the fake “whistleblower” who conspired with Adam Schiff and his staff to serve as the kicking-off point for the Democrat/media-driven impeachment scam has been widely known for weeks now. It has been so widely known, in fact, that Paul Sperry, in his revelatory report on RealClearInvestigations, said this:

“… a handful of former colleagues have compiled a roughly 40-page research dossier on him. A classified version of the document is circulating on Capitol Hill, and briefings have been conducted based on it. One briefed Republican has been planning to unmask the whistleblower in a speech on the House floor.

“On the Internet, meanwhile, Ciaramella’s name for weeks has been bandied about on Twitter feeds and intelligence blogs as the suspected person who blew the whistle on the president. The mainstream media are also aware of his name.”

Yet, despite the broad knowledge of Ciaramella’s identity as the leaker – that’s really all he is – the fake news media has been so intimately complicit in the impeachment scam that literally every major outlet has played along with the pretense that he somehow deserves protection under a “whistleblower” law that doesn’t even apply to accusations made against any sitting president. As an arm of RealClearPolitics, a news aggregation site whose average of polls is regularly cited by every major news organization on a daily basis, RealClearInvestigations is in fact a part of the mainstream media and thus became the first to break through that solid wall of conspiratorial media silence Wednesday night.

“Everyone knows who he is. CNN knows. The Washington Post knows. The New York Times knows. Congress knows. The White House knows. Even the president knows who he is,” said Fred Fleitz, a former CIA analyst.

While conservative websites like The Gateway Pundit and The Conservative Treehouse revealed the leaker’s likely identity weeks ago, it was important for a mainstream media outlet to break through that conspiratorial wall in order to deny the ability of Democrat activist outlets to claim Ciaramella’s identity was somehow “confidential.” That excuse is now gone, although most of those outlets – including the increasingly swampy Fox News – continue to refuse to report the story this morning.

Make no mistake about it, that wall of conspiratorial silence constituted a direct assault not just on President Donald Trump, whose presidency is threatened by the false accusations made by this deep state functionary, but on the American people and their right to know who and what is behind all of this. The thought that the 2016 presidential election could be overturned based on accusations made by an accuser who would never be confronted by the accused or even identified to the public is the most un-American concept ever devised by political minds.

The utter mendacity behind that scheme becomes crystal clear now that we know who this guy really is:

– Ciaramella is a long-time associate of senior staff for Adam Schiff;

– Ciaramella has worked at various times for John Brennan, Susan Rice, Joe Biden and other Democrat skunks;

– In 2015 and 2016, Ciaramella worked on Ukraine policy with Biden and never raised a peep of alarm over Biden and his son’s obvious influence-peddling operation there;

– He was an Obama holdover on the initial Trump NSC staff, led by deep state snake H.R. McMaster, serving there until mid-2017 when he was revealed to be a serial leaker of classified information;

– While working at the NSC, Ciaramella was in fact instrumental in creating the false “Putin fired Comey” narrative that helped create the rationale for appointing a special counsel;

– Instead of being fired on the spot, McMaster intervened on his behalf and sent him to work at the CIA;

– Ciaramella was not on the July 25 call between President Trump and Ukraine President Zelensky, and has zero first-hand knowledge of anything that was said on that call;

– All of the allegations made in his false “whistleblower” complaint come from second-and-third-hand hearsay accounts, with much of it very likely coming from fellow deep state functionary Alexander Vindman, who is most likely the second fake whistleblower in this impeachment scam.

Ciramella is, in other words, the classic example of the sort of anti-American deep state functionaries who remain embeded throughout the federal bureaucracy, especially in our intelligence community, Department of Justice and at the State Department. Obama literally filled our government with this kind of disloyal hack, people who have no respect whatsoever for our nation’s electoral process, and who place their their political ideology above the good of the country.

No wonder Adam Schiff, Nancy Pelosi and the disloyal hacks who infest our national news media outlets were so desperate to keep his identity a secret. Paul Sperry and the editors at RealClearInvestigations deserve medals for breaching that wall of conspiratorial silence.

That is all.

New York Times Attempt to Craft a Narrative for the Coup Cabal Fails Miserably

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

If you pay close attention to the fake reporting of the New York Times, Washington Post, CNN and a few other Deep State fake news organizations, you can easily see how the FBI/CIA/State Department goons who choreographed the three year “Russia Collusion” fantasy play are trying to manipulate the public narrative in advance of the release of the Horowitz Report and the slow-rolling Barr/Durham investigation.

A piece published by the Times on Saturday serves as a prime example. The report, written by Adam Goldman and William Rashbaum, two of the most reliable deep state mouthpieces in the media, is chock-full of dozens of references to anonymous sources, all of whom most likely helped organize and lead the plot to fix the 2016 election for the Pantsuit Princess, and then to mount a coup d’etat on American soil. Although the reporters dutifully attempt to carefully craft the narrative here as a defense of treasonous snakes like Peter Strzok, Andrew McCabe, James Comey and other high officials who participated in this long-running betrayal of the United States, it fails miserably to do so.

What we end up with instead is a very long-winded indictment of these snakes in a piece that contains a series of revelations that will damage the reputations and defense efforts of everyone involved.

Let’s begin with the startling admission contained in this paragraph (I will add emphasis throughout the excerpts from the NY Times piece):

In his review, Mr. Durham has asked witnesses about the role of Christopher Steele, a former intelligence official from Britain who was hired to research Mr. Trump’s ties to Russia by a firm that was in turn financed by Democrats. Law enforcement officials used some of the information Mr. Steele compiled into a now-infamous dossier to obtain a secret wiretap on a Trump campaign adviser, Carter Page, whom they suspected was an agent of Russia.

So, here is the New York Times, the mouth organ of the Deep State narrative, admitting – albeit deep in the bowels of a very long piece – that the Steele Dossier was indeed funded by “Democrats.” The Times of course cannot go so far as to be specific about which “Democrats” – i.e., the Coughing Crook Campaign and the DNC – were involved in funding the effort, because that much truth in one article would cause most of its upper East Side readership to faint dead away with the vapors.

But putting that little nugget of truth into its pages is a stark admission that the Clinton Campaign literally paid millions of dollars to foreign agents to help them in an American election, an admission that most Times readers have likely never seen before.

Then there’s the lead paragraph:

Federal prosecutors reviewing the origins of the Russia investigation have asked witnesses pointed questions about any anti-Trump bias among former F.B.I. officials who are frequent targets of President Trump and about the earliest steps they took in the Russia inquiry, according to former officials and other people familiar with the review.

Note the use of the words “federal prosecutors” rather than “investigators,” because words are important here. This distinction, the first two words of a very long piece, clearly implies that the Times has been made aware by their Deep State buddies that Barr and Durham are not only pursuing actual indictments and prosecutions of some of their ranks, but have brought in multiple additional federal prosecutors to assist in the effort. This is a key shift in the fake media narrative, which has previously talked about Barr and Durham being just a couple of loose cannons mounting a rogue investigation in order to curry favor with President Trump.

The second paragraph is also quite interesting:

The prosecutors, led by John H. Durham, the United States attorney in Connecticut, have interviewed about two dozen former and current F.B.I. officials, the people said. Two former senior F.B.I. agents are assisting with the review, the people said.

Oh. Who might those two dozen “current and former FBI officials” be? We’ll have to wait to find out. But the more interesting bit of information here is that “two former senior FBI agents are assisting with the review.” Who might those agents be?

Well, about five paragraphs further into the piece, we find out who they are NOT:

Mr. Durham has yet to interview all the F.B.I. officials who played key roles in opening the Russian investigation in the summer of 2016, the people familiar with the review said. He has not spoken with Peter Strzok, a former top counterintelligence official who opened the inquiry; the former director James B. Comey or his deputy, Andrew G. McCabe; or James A. Baker, then the bureau’s general counsel.

So, Barr/Durham and their fellow prosecutors have interviewed dozens of current and former FBI officials, but they have yet to speak with four of the main suspects who we all know from public information already released were key leaders of the cabal. This would be common practice if those four are in fact targets of the investigation – the process would be to gather all the independent information possible to build a strong case prior to interviewing the actual targets. Very encouraging for those who desire to see actual justice done to at least some of the myriad bad actors in this matter.

Much later on in the piece, we find out who one of the “two former senior FBI agents” happens to be:

The former official said he was reassured by the presence of John C. Eckenrode, one of the former senior F.B.I. agents assisting Mr. Durham. Like Mr. Durham, who investigated C.I.A. torture of detainees overseas, Mr. Eckenrode is also familiar with high-stakes political inquiries.

How is Mr. Eckenrode famliar with “high-stakes political inquiries”? Way back in 2003-04, he worked for special counsel Patrick Fitzgerald on the Valerie Plame investigation. Some will view this association with a previous out-of-control special counsel as damning of Barr/Durham’s real intentions here, but the Fizgerald investigation would have involved literally dozens of FBI agents who were simply carrying out their orders in their daily jobs. When conducting a high-profile, controversial investigation such as this one, it would be perfectly natural for any U.S. Attorney to try to bring in assistants who have prior such experience.

Towards the end, the Times writers do their best to provide cover for their Deep State sources:

For example, the former official compared the F.B.I.’s handling of its two investigations related to Mr. Trump and his 2016 opponent, Hillary Clinton. Agents overtly investigated Mrs. Clinton’s use of a private email server but kept secret their counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign. If the F.B.I. had been trying to bolster Mrs. Clinton’s candidacy and hurt Mr. Trump’s, they could have buried the email investigation or taken more overt steps in the Russia inquiry.

This is, of course, abject nonsense. The Clinton email scandal had been in the news for many months, beginning way back in mid-2015. The corrupt and preening Comey, always concerned more about his public image than about the actual pursuit of justice, had no choice but to be seen as pursuing that investigation in a very public way. The fact that the fix was in for the Fainting Felon came with the release of internal FBI documents proving that Comey and Strzok drafted Clinton’s exoneration memo in May, 2016, two full months before they even bothered to interview her.

But this tired old narrative is all the Comeys and Strzoks have left to them, and the Times dutifully plays along, rolling it out there for the consumption of their willfully-deluded reader base.

The very publication of this narrative piece demonstrates the concern the coup plotters really are feeling about the pending release of the Horowitz Report and the ongoing conduct of the Barr/Durham investigation. It’s an effort – a miserably failed effort – to get out ahead of the release of the Horowitz Report, and to build a public narrative in defense of the bad actors as Barr and Durham advance towards seeking indictments. As the Times piece itself states in the lead sentence to its third paragraph:

The number of interviews shows that Mr. Durham’s review is further along than previously known.

Slowly but surely, the walls are closing in on the coup plotters.

America’s Second Civil War is Three Years Old

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

The whole strategy revolves around wearing you down. – Americans who inhabit what the coastal elites condescendingly refer to “flyover country,” that vast center of the nation that turned into a sea of red on Election Day 2016 to elect Donald Trump to the presidency, are being forced to make a choice when it comes to their President. The relentless, neverending coup efforts being led by the Obama-loyal Deep State are designed to force you ultimately get to the point where you will throw up your hands and say ‘go ahead, get rid of Trump, just give me some peace.’

Image result for county by county election map 2016

Our nation today is in a different kind of Civil War, one that began in July, 2016 when James Comey’s FBI coordinated with John Brennan’s CIA to mount a spying and entrapment effort against the Trump Campaign. It is a war of attrition, a war built on the relentless pushing of Big Lie after Big Lie after Big Lie.

It is a war being mounted by squeamish, disloyal Republicans, the entirety of the Democrat Party, vast pockets of treasonous corruption within the Justice Department, the FBI and the Intelligence Community, 95% of the nation’s news media and about the same percentage of the entertainment industry. The war is supported by most of our institutions of higher “learning” and even filters down into our public schools.

It is a war on our senses, a war on our stamina, a war on our minds and a war on our children and grandchildren. It is a war in which we now cannot watch an episode of a sitcom or a crime drama without being assaulted with anti-Trump messages that insult us and our intelligence. It is a war in which we cannot wear a red cap or put a bumper sticker on our car expressing the desire to keep our country great without fear of being assaulted on the street or in a restaurant.

It is a war in which the simple fact of being white and male, or African American and conservative makes you a potential target of publicly-condoned derision and personal peril. It is a war in which you can lose your business or job if you don’t refer to a man wearing gaudy make-up and a dress as “ma’am.” It is a war in which giant social media monopolies are allowed to discriminate against you if their 100%-leftist staff do not approve of your thoughts and words.

It is a war in which associates of President Trump have their homes broken into in the middle of the night, are perp-walked before CNN’s cameras and held in solitary confinement while awaiting trial on charges that the DOJ investigated and refused to prosecute years before. It is a war in which enemies of President Trump can have multiple criminal referrals levied against them by the Inspector General and walk away scot free to lucrative book deals and six-figure “contributor” contracts with leftist fake news cable channels.

It is a war in which elected members of congress willingly do everything they can to prevent a duly-elected President and his administration from being able to conduct the nation’s foreign policy. It is a war in which the nation was held captive for three years by a “Russia Collusion” narrative tirelessly pushed by the fake news media and investigated by multiple congressional committees and a “special counsel” who conducted himself like the head of the American Gestapo. It is a war in which the special counsel’s report fully exonerates the President of any wrongdoing, only to have the Democrats and the fake news media double down on the Big Lie and pretend that it convicted him.

It is a war in which the Intelligence Community is now coordinating with the Democrats, the media and the entertainment industry in the next Big Lie, this one having to do with a phone call between the President and his peer in Ukraine. Even though it is now transparently obvious that this is just another Big Lie, we can count on the Democrat/media complex of propaganda to double down on their latest false narrative.

We can expect them to do that because the strategy here is not to have you actually believe any of the nonsense they’re pushing. The strategy is simply to wear you down, to ultimately make you bend the knee and give up on this silly quest to keep America a great and independent nation.

When this latest coup/impeachment effort crashes and burns in spectacular fashion, we can expect the forces aligned against Trump and his supporters to simply make up another false narrative and keep the coup going.

The same thing is happening right now in Britain, where Boris Johnson, the Prime Minister elected to complete the Brexit effort the voters approved three long years ago, is under a similar relentless assault by that country’s deep state, disloyal lawmakers and fake news media. As I wrote in one of the earliest Campaign Updates way back in 2016, Brexit and Trump are essentially the same political movement, a movement that pits those who love their country and want it to remain a strong, independent nation against the forces of globalism and one-world-government.

The Brits who support Brexit have held firm through all that time and grown stronger. Trump’s base of support has also held firm and grown larger. That base has remained unshakable not because they necessarily approve of every aspect of Trump’s personal behavior, but because they understand what is at stake here, and whose side Trump is on.

Because at the end of the day in this tiresome Civil War, Trump is on the side of Americans and America. I don’t know about the rest of you, but they won’t ever wear me down.

That is all.

We Appear to be in the Midst of a Second IC-led Coup Attempt

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

It now appears certain that the Intelligence Community is attempting to take down a duly elected POTUS for a second time in three years. – Sean Davis at The Federalist reported late Friday afternoon that, at some undetermined point in August, the Office of National Intelligence secretly implemented a change to its “whistleblower” policy that eliminates the requirement that a person must possess first-hand information of wrongdoing in order to have a whistleblower complaint expedited through the process:

The brand new version of the whistleblower complaint form, which was not made public until after the transcript of Trump’s July 25 phone call with the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky and the complaint addressed to Congress were made public, eliminates the first-hand knowledge requirement and allows employees to file whistleblower complaints even if they have zero direct knowledge of underlying evidence and only “heard about [wrongdoing] from others.”

The internal properties of the newly revised “Disclosure of Urgent Concern” form, which the intelligence community inspector general (ICIG) requires to be submitted under the Intelligence Community Whistleblower Protection Act (ICWPA), show that the document was uploaded on September 24, 2019, at 4:25 p.m., just days before the anti-Trump complaint was declassified and released to the public. The markings on the document state that it was revised in August 2019, but no specific date of revision is disclosed.

The timing of this, given the second-hand hearsay nature of the fake “whistleblower” complaint that led directly to the Democrats’ impeachment effort this week, is too convenient to be mere coincidence. It is key to remember that former DNI Dan Coats and his Deputy, Sue Gordon, both left their jobs involuntarily on August 15, three days after the fake whistleblower complaint was formally filed.

We do not yet know whether this secret change in requirements was made before, on or after that date, but the answer to that question will be extremely revealing. Many have been wondering why it is that this complaint has been even allowed to move forward, given that the fake “whistleblower” admits he has no real first-hand information about any alleged wrongdoing by President Trump or anyone else.

Now we know.

The possession of first-hand knowledge has always been a crucial part of all federal whistleblower statutes, in part as a means of preventing this exact sort of hearsay-based complaint becoming the norm, and being used as a way to settle political grudges.

So, just a few months after the Intelligence Community’s first coup attempt against President Trump failed with the crashing and burning of the Mueller Report, it now seems certain that the IC is coordinating fully with Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats in mounting a second effort, using essentially the same playbook. Level a false charge, invent a legend around that charge, coordinate talking points with the fake news media, double-down every time the facts fail to support the legend.

Meanwhile, as treasonous snakes mount this second coup attempt on his own watch, Attorney General William Barr is probably keeping himself locked in a safe room at his home, practicing his bagpipes. People should be getting rounded up and flown down to Gitmo, but all we get from our Department of [No] Justice is crickets.

God Bless President Trump for having the courage to continue fighting while everyone else around him scurries for cover.

That is all.

Mueller Gets in a Final, Despicable Smear

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

A “special counsel” who has no idea what the word “justice” actually means. – Looking for all the world like a doddering, poorly-aging man in need of assisted living care and sounding like a stammering, nervous wreck, Gestapo Chief, er, Special Counsel Robert Mueller got in one final despicable smear at President Donald J. Trump today in a press conference at which he refused to take questions.

Reading haltingly from a prepared text from which he never strayed, the man who spent 20 months conducting a depraved witch hunt designed to hamper a duly elected president’s ability to run his administration and serve as opposition research for the 2020 Democrat presidential nominee demonstrated conclusively that he rejects the Constitutional dictum that any American citizen charged with a crime must be presumed innocent unless proved guilty in a court of law. Mueller turned that crucial principle of American liberty on its head by stating that his objective was in fact to dig up dirt on a sitting POTUS and to instead declare him to be innocent if only he and his team of Clinton/Obama hacks felt confident in doing so.

To be exact, Mueller said “If we had confidence that the president did not commit a crime, we would have said so,” when in fact any ethical prosecutor would instead have said something like “If we had found evidence that the President committed a crime, we would have said so.”

The difference in those two statements is no trivial matter. It is in fact the single most crucial difference between personal liberty and oppression. Yet, Mueller made that un-American statement even after grudgingly admitting he and his Witch Hunter team found no evidence that the President committed any obstruction of justice, and no evidence of any collusion by the President with any foreign interest.

It is the continuation of a despicable smear, a depraved act by a highly-political, corrupt and for some reason desperate man.

I say “desperate” because it is hard to envision any other reason for Mueller to have held today’s press event. What other reason besides desperation was there to do so? He certainly was not being prodded to do so by Attorney General William Barr or anyone else in the Trump Administration. He certainly has no obligation to respond via the media to Democrat efforts to force him to testify before various house committees. He certainly had no obligation to make a verbal statement of any kind to the press regarding his retirement from the DOJ – a simple memo to Barr would do that trick.

So why did he do it? Let’s think about that for a moment, because I think he was there to send some very specific messages, the first of which was to Jabba the Nadler and the rest of the despicable House Democrats.

That message was: “Read my report. My report speaks for itself, and I would not testify to anything beyond that report. Now, leave me alone.”

What does that mean? That means that Mueller knows that he would have to answer questions from Republicans as well as Democrat members of any committee, and that not be an easy thing for him to do. He also knows that he would subject himself to perjury charges should any of his verbal testimony contradict anything in the 440 page report he stupidly sent over to AG Barr in March. For better or worse, he is stuck defending everything that is in that report, word for word, and he doesn’t want to assume the risk of having to remember it all under oath.

The second message Mueller likely wanted to deliver on the record today was to Barr himself. Mueller spent time in his statement pointing to the fact that the scope of his Witch Hunt was authorized by then-Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein in a pair of scoping memos, and make various other self-justifying statements. This probably means that Barr and U.S. Attorney John Durham are reviewing Mueller’s many abuses in the scope of their own investigation, which would help explain why Mueller was so extremely nervous while making today’s statement.

Mueller’s final message was that he is an angry, bitter man. Angry that his Witch Hunt failed in its goal of successfully executing a coup d’etat on President Trump, angry that he had to shut it all down when a real, functional Attorney General took over that office, bitter that he is now facing personal jeopardy for conduct that Rosenstein had personally sanctioned.

Thus, he issued one final angry, bitter statement containing one final smear of the President, a smear that literally turns our nation’s system of justice and protections of personal liberty on its head.

The proper charge for attempting a coup d’etat on U.S. soil is treason, the maximum penalty for which is death.

There is no punishment too harsh for a government official who would stoop to such despicable tactics.

That is all.
