Waiting for Barr and Durham: The 2020 Sequel to “Waiting For Godot”

Justice Department probe into Russia investigation could extend into late summer - CNNPolitics

In the last 48 hours we have discovered the following related to Spygate/Obamagate:

– The release of a series of text messages between multiple FBI personnel revealing that they knew the spying on the Trump campaign and efforts to frame General Mike Flynn were highly illegal and that they were so concerned about their own situations that they went out and purchased personal liability insurance policies in January, 2017;

– The revelation that the sub-source for Christopher Steele’s fake Dossier on Donald Trump was in fact a Russian agent and had been deemed by the freaking FBI itself as a “national security threat” as early as 2009. Despite this knowledge, James Comey and his FBI freak show allowed the Dossier to be used as the sole basis for no fewer than 4 fraudulent applications for FISA warrants to spy on the Trump Campaign, Transition Team and Administration;

– The fact that Hunter Biden, while his dear old Daddy was squiring him all over the world to peddle influence to various nefarious characters, received a wire transfer from the wife of the former Mayor of Moscow for $3.5 million and several other wires of several hundred thousand dollars each.

In the face of all of these revelations in a 48 hour period, our national news media yawns and continues to pretend that President Trump is the guy with a Russia problem.

It was in light of these revelations and the Democrat/media’s current “peaceful transfer of power” hoax that I wrote a piece on Thursday asking “When do we get Our Peaceful Transfer of Power for 2016?” because that is something we never received from Obama and his evil minions, who are still today running a shadow government operation designed to regain the presidency. Joe Biden is just the bumbling meat suit face of that effort.

The next question to ask is, when are any of the people involved in this never-ending coup d’etat effort going to be held accountable by William Barr, John Durham and the Department of Justice? We found out on Thursday that Durham did in fact take over the investigation of all the myriad crimes of the Clinton Foundation from do-nothing U.S. Attorney John Huber early this year, as has long been rumored. But, just as with his plodding Spygate and Obamagate investigation, we have seen no fruit from that effort, despite Barr’s promises that such fruit would be borne by the end of summer.

Oops. We are now three days past that deadline.

I had an email from a friend in DC last night saying that rumors are flying that something’s going to happen today. That would make some sense in a very DC Swampy kind of way, given that Fridays are traditionally the day when when the Swamp’s snakes and skunks love to make big news so it will dominate the Sunday talk shows. But we’ve heard those rumors many times before and have been let down each and every time. Waiting for John Durham to actually do something is like the old movie “Waiting for Godot”. We keep waiting, but Godot never arrives.

Meanwhile, we are about to have an election in less than 6 weeks and well over half of the country still does not know a thing about any of this thanks to the wall of silence by the corrupt national news media. The only way to break through that wall is for Durham and his investigators to start breaking down doors and performing some very public perp walks of high profile figures like Comey and Strzok and Brennan and Clapper, all of whom have become major TV stars over the past few years.

It would be like arresting the cast of “Love Island” – even the GenZ-ers would have to pay some attention here.

Sundance over at TheConservativeTreehouse posted a piece last night speculating that Barr and Durham have now decided that the political atmosphere has just become too toxic to add indictments into the mix. Thus, Sundance speculates that Barr is using Sidney Powell – who released the FBI text messages – and the various Senate committees – who released the revelations about Hunter Biden and Steele’s Russian sub-source – to get all of this damning information into the public domain without drawing fire in on their own position from the news media.

If true, we have a word for that kind of skullduggery: Chickenshit. Sorry for the semi-profanity, but that’s what such an effort by Barr/Durham would be.

If Durham really does have the goods on these people, and really does have hundreds of sealed indictments waiting to be unsealed, then election timing simply should not even factor into his and Barr’s equation. Because if Durham really has the goods, that means that there are treasonous criminals who planned and executed a literal coup d’ etat effort on U.S. soil roaming free as birds right now. It would also mean that half of American voters are about to cast votes for the next president without being in possession of real knowledge about any of this.

That would be an incredible travesty of justice, and a stain on their reputations that Barr and Durham could never wash off. If they really do have the goods, the only time to act is now.

I’m not going to hold my breath waiting for Godot to finally arrive, though.

That is all.

The Steele Sub-Source Revelation Shows How Complex John Durham’s Job Really Is

If you’ve been wondering what all the hullabaloo over the weekend about the Steele Dossier and Christopher Steele’s “sub-source” was all about, and why it’s important, let me try to explain it to you:

First, why it’s important:

It’s important because the Steele Dossier was used by the Obama FBI, led by James Comey, as pretty much the sole support for securing FISA warrants allowing it to spy on the Trump Campaign. Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok and all the rest lied to the FISA court by characterizing the Dossier, Steele himself, and Steele’s unidentified “sub-source” as being reliable and credible, and “Russia-based.”

Those were all outright, bald-faced lies.

The FBI also withheld the fact that Steele’s work was funded by the Pantsuit Princess campaign and the Democrat National Committee. The FISA judges never heard that from the FBI or the DOJ, and only learned about it through the efforts of good men like Congressman Devin Nunes, who risked their political careers and their lives to get that information out onto the public record.

Now to the sub-source:

Last week, Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe declassified documents that revealed the identity of Steele’s “sub-source,” i.e., the guy who basically fed all him all of the unsubstantiated rumors and fantasies that make up his Dossier.

That guy’s name is Igor Danchenko. Mr. Danchenko is a former Russian national, but has been a resident in the United States for many years. Thus, he is not at all “Russia-based.”

Oh.

But it gets better. It turns out that Danchenko worked for many years at the leftist Brookings Institution think tank, a favorite of Obama’s, one that provided “research” support for most of Obama’s god-awful policies.

Oh.

But it gets even better than that. It also turns out that Danchenko worked closely with a woman named Fiona Hill, a so-called “Russia expert,” and co-authored a paper with her when they were both working at Brookings during 2016.

You may remember Ms. Hill as an Obama-plant employee at the National Council who served as one of the key “witnesses” at last year’s impeachment farce hearings. Ms. Hill was hired into the NSC by the evil H.R. McMaster, who became President Trump’s National Security Advisor after the FBI successfully framed General Mike Flynn.

Oh.

But it gets even better than all of that, if you can believe it. Here’s an excerpt from a report by John Solomon at JustTheNews.com:

In addition, the president of the Brookings Institution — former Clinton administration figure Strobe Talbott — contacted Steele early in the Russia collusion probe and requested a copy of his dossier to share with Obama administration officials, according to Steele’s recent testimony in a British lawsuit.

“I remember taking a phone call from him, your Lordship, earlier in the summer, in which he said that he was aware that I had — he spoke in fairly cryptic terms, but he was aware that we had material of relevance to the U.S. election,” Steele testified in March in  the British lawsuit.

Steele claimed Talbott learned about his dossier work from either former National Security Adviser Susan Rice or former Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland. Rice’s spokesman has denied having such contact about the dossier. Nuland acknowledged knowing about Steele’s dossier in July 2016 and claimed she directed her staff to send the former MI-6 agent to the FBI.

“Although he didn’t state it explicitly, one or either or both of them had briefed him on the work we had been doing,” Steele testified.

[End]

Oh.

But – and I’m not kidding here – it gets even better than that. More from the John Solomon report:

Talbott’s brother-in-law, Cody Shearer, distributed his own anti-Trump Russia dossier in September 2016, according to evidence released by Congress and the DOJ inspector general. It included some of the same allegations as those in Steele’s.

And then in early 2017 Talbott provided a copy of the Steele dossier to Hill after she started working inside the Trump National Security Council, according to Hill’s impeachment testimony. Hill admitted she met multiple times with Steele in 2016.

[Devin] Nunes told Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo that he is opening a “full-blown” probe into the role Brookings and its figures played with Steele and the entire Russia episode.

“People may remember the president of Brookings back in 2016, we know that he had given the dossier to a few people, we had that through testimony,” Nunes explained. “You also may remember that the State Department was involved and there were additional dossiers that weren’t the Steele dossiers, except that they mirrored the Steele dossiers.”

[End]

So, we now see this web of lies, deceit and outright treason now implicating a major leftist think tank and winding its way deep into the Trump National Security Council thanks to McMaster’s betrayal.

Unwinding all of this is a massive, Herculean task, and the man assigned with that task by William Barr is U.S. Attorney John Durham. So, if you’re wondering why it is taking awhile for Durham to get to the part of his work that involves perp-walks and indictments, well, it should be starting to become more clear to you now.

Barack Obama corrupted literally every institution of the federal government, and that corruption dominated the first two years of the Trump administration and lingers still, just 3 months before President Trump stands for re-election. That’s how deep and wide and completely ingrained it has become.

This is a cancer on our nation, and it is very important that Durham and Barr get all of it out. While it would certainly be gratifying for Durham to indict one of the big tumors – like, say Comey or John Brennan or even Strzok – if doing that imperils the goal of eradicating the metastasized cancer completely, then it wouldn’t be worth it.

We should give Durham and Barr the time to get it all out in one fell swoop. This cancer cannot be allowed to linger and grow again.

That is all.

Bombshell: Devin Nunes Reveals a Key Point About Obamagate

As is his custom as chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, do-nothing South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham dribbled out some new information about ObamaGate yesterday, information that amounts to far too little, far too late for it to become any real benefit to the republic’s ultimate survival. Why Sen. Graham has waited this long to release this particular tranche of documents is anyone’s guess – there are possible explanations, both innocent and not-so-innocent.

Regardless, the release is worth noting because the declassified FBI records clearly establish the fact that the FBI and band of Mueller thugs knew full well that the Steele Dossier was a fraud very early on, but continued to use it to defraud the FISA court on multiple occasions.

Here’s the released documents:

That release led the guest host of Sean Hannity’s Tick-Tock hour on Fox News last night, Tammy Bruce, to bring on journalist John Solomon and intrepid Congressman Devin Nunes to discuss the importance of these documents. While Solomon and Bruce skirt around the central issue, Nunes, as is his habit, keeps his eye squarely on the ball that really matters.

Here’s a clip, followed by a transcript of Cong. Nunes’s comments:

Transcript – Watch and listen as Bruce interrupts Nunes the moment he starts to point out the most crucial point in all of this – Nunes starts at about the 1:50 mark):

Nunes: Well, I think to correct [John Solomon’s call for a Durham “report”], uh, I’m not too interested in a Durham “report.” I would like to know everything for the four-plus years that went on, including even the Mueller investigation, but really what we want is, we want indictments.

We’ve made 14 criminal referrals, we have another investigation that is ongoing. I would say the takeaway I have tonight – John hit it on the head with those 3 important topics – but also, we have suspected for a very long time that Steele had only 2 Russians [sources]. But, we believe they were actually kind of “real” Russians, but he didn’t really know them.

And the question is, how was it that Steele supposedly “found” these Russians and was able to use them? We’ve asked the FBI and the CIA about these Russians – I’ve said for a long time we’re interested in 2 Russians – and this won’t surprise you: They have yet to allow us access to these 2 Russians, who we know [interrupted by Bruce so you can barely hear this] are now living in the United States.

[End]

Now, Ms. Bruce might have interrupted Nunes at that crucial moment simply because she was running up against a commercial break. Or maybe, just maybe, she had a producer screaming in her ear to make Nunes stop because he was getting into an area that the CIA does not want to have discussed on national television.

Think about this: The 2 Russian sources for the Steele Dossier are now living in the United States of America? How, pray tell, would that happen, other than under the auspices of some agency or another of the federal government? Why would the CIA, the DOJ and/or the FBI want to be keeping these 2 specific Russians safely under wraps?

Two possible explanations come to mind: a) Because these 2 Russians are spilling their guts to Mr. Durham and his investigators, or b) because the CIA under John Brennan was intimately involved in Spygate/Obamagate and the initial compiling of that Steele Dossier on behalf of the Clinton Campaign and the DNC.

On that latter possibility, it’s fair to remember that Steele himself is a British spy who was based in London at the time he was compiling that fake dossier, and that current CIA Director Gina Haspel happened to be the head of the CIA’s London office during that same time.

Oh.

We should also remember this key fact: Nunes knows where all of these bodies are buried. Remember, he was the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee during 2017-18, and he has already seen all of these documents long ago. He is not just speculating for fun in this TV appearance – he knows how Steel was linked up with those 2 Russians and he knows how and why they are currently living in the United States.

He is clearly sending a message here. Pray that he has strong security around him.

That is all.

On a Slow News Thursday the Media Just Made the ‘News’ up

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

The two biggest news ‘stories’ on December 26 weren’t ‘news’ at all.  – The fake news media went semi-wild with two stories on Thursday, pushing them relentlessly hour after hour on a day that was otherwise devoid of sexy stories to push.

The first was about GOP Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski, who all the leftists in the corrupt media establishment are praying will be one of the RINOs in the Senate who will vote to remove President Trump from office in a Senate trail, assuming there ever actually is such a thing. Hey, she was a spineless traitor on the Kavanaugh nomination after she was filmed being bullied in the hallway by Dianne Feinstein – why wouldn’t she commit the ultimate betrayal against a President she has never liked?

It’s a valid question, and it might even happen eventually. The problem is that today’s story being pushed by the corrupt media doesn’t really give us any indication one way or the other.

Here’s what happened: Murkowski was asked by a local Anchorage TV reporter if she approved of the promise made by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell that he would conduct a Senate trial “in total coordination” with White House lawyers. Murkowski answered that “When I heard that, I was disturbed.”

Ok, so, the spineless RINO was disturbed. Murkowski then went onto say this:

“We have to take that step back from being hand in glove with the defense,” Murkowski told KTUU. “And so [when] I … heard what Leader McConnell had said, I happened to think that that has further confused the process.”

Ok, so, the spineless RINO is disturbed and thinks McConnell has confused the process when in fact he has crystal clarified it. What else would we expect from a spineless RINO who desperately wants to pretend to be all things to all people instead of standing on something resembling political principle? The truth is that Murkowski’s dissembling here was exactly what anyone who pays any attention to her normal behavior would have expected from her. It would have been a shock had she in fact said anything else.

But it is a long way from a principle-devoid Senator dissembling as a means of getting a pesky reporter off her back to actually casting a vote to remove a duly-elected President from office. Murkowski’s statement here was not ‘news;’ it was just another day at the office for her.

Then there’s the other story that ‘broke’ early in the afternoon about dead former Senator John McCain funneling “5 reports by Christopher Steele” to James Comey in late 2017. This ‘news’ is contained in the report by DOJ IG Michael Horowitz, a report that was made public on December 9, which was two-and-a-half weeks ago.

This is news? Really? McCain’s efforts to distribute reports funneled to him and his staff by Steele have been well known since early 2018. This business about “five separate reports” is nothing but wordplay. All five of those Steele-manufactured “reports” ended up being included in the infamous fake Dossier, and the thought that the FBI was not aware of their existence until they were handed to Comey by McCain is absurd.

But hey, it was that rarest of rare things of the Trump presidency today – a very slow news day – so the people pushing ‘news’ 24 hours a day to attract viewers and website clicks were desperate.

For the rest of us, it’ll be a relief when the holidays are over and we are back to having half a dozen real news cycles every day.

That is all.

Rolling Stone Reminds us of Jake Tapper’s Role in Pushing the Steele Dossier

Today’s Campaign Update, Part III
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Let’s all give Jake Tapper credit where credit is due. – The very, very leftist rag Rolling Stone has a piece by Matt Tiabbi today that rips the fake Steele Dossier and its sleazy origins and dissemination and the players involved in it to shreds. During the course of his expose’, Tiabbi names the names you’ve all heard before: Names like Hillary Clinton and James Clapper and Buzzfeed editor Ben Smith and Michael Isikoff and many more.

But one name you may not have seen associated with the dissemination of the fraudulent Dossier before now is that of CNN preening peacock host Jake Tapper. Here’s the key passage:

In early 2017, CNN anchor Jake Tapper wrote to Buzzfeed editor Ben Smith in a snit, complaining that Smith had been “irresponsible” and “uncollegial” when he published the dossier. Was Tapper upset that Smith had broken with ethical tradition by publishing unverified material, defaming a string of named human beings as traitorous spies without evidence?

Nope. Tapper was mad that Smith had defamed the story by showing where it came from! “I think your move makes the story less serious and credible,” he wrote, in an email produced as part of a lawsuit against Buzzfeed. “I think you damaged its impact.”

Tapper apparently liked the Steele tale better when it was coming out in bits, through more politically astute sources like his buddy and future co-worker, the former director of national intelligence James Clapper, one of the four Sneaky Petes who presented Trump with the Steele synopsis.

Tapper’s little tantrum was previously reported by Chuck Ross at the Daily Caller back in February, but did not receive much attention. I just wanted to highlight this Rolling Stone piece to do what I can to ensure the despicable Tapper gets his proper due for the role he and CNN played in this key early step in the never-ending coup d’etat that we are still going through today.

It would be a real shame if, in his pursuit of bringing the real bad actors in all of this to justice, U.S. Attorney John Durham failed to give credit where credit is due to the useful idiots in the corrupt news media like Jake Tapper.

That is all.

Here’s Why Trump Granted That Interview to the Little Wise Guy

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Great drinking game for this week’s Democrat debates. – Every time one of the candidates promises a new giveaway program that would cost taxpayers more than $1 trillion, take a shot of tequila. You’ll be dead within an hour.

A friend tells me that death would not be the worst consequence of playing this game. The worst consequence is that you have to watch the Democrat debates in order to play it. Solid point.

Now, onto today’s topic, which is why in the hell did President Trump do an interview with that little Clinton toady George Stephanopoulos? That is the question many Trump supporters have been asking since last Thursday, when ABC released the bit of the interview in which the President basically said that he would listen to some guy from Norway who claimed to have information about his political opponent before deciding whether or not it was something that should be reported to the FBI.

That of course is what every other politician in America would do, and it is also the common sense thing to do. Which is why the fake news media has spent the last four days trying to convince everyone that it is tantamount to, like, treason or something. In the media’s eyes we simply cannot allow common sense to prevail in America – if that happens, no Democrat could ever be elected to public office again.

And we also must never allow an evil Republican to get away with doing exactly what a Democrat would do because, well, if that happens, no Democrat could ever be elected to public office again. See how that works?

But back to why in the hell the President agreed to do this wide-ranging interview. After all, he had to know that Stephanopoulos is just a Democrat activist wearing a fake reporter’s suit, would conduct the interview in classic gotcha fashion because Trump is a Republican – this never happens to Democrats – and would ultimately air a version of their discussions that was carefully edited to try to inflict maximum damage on him and his administration. This stuff is as predictable as Nancy Pelosi forgetting her way to the bathroom. It’s like clockwork.

Well, here’s a thought: Maybe he did this interview to get a couple of messages out to an audience other than the subset of Americans who make up the viewers of Fox News. Think about it.

As part of his exchange with the “little wise guy”, as the President at one point referred to the diminutive Clinton hack, he reminded everyone that the Pantsuit Princess and the DNC combined to pay millions of dollars to have the Steele Dossier compiled during the course of the 2016 campaign. Viewers of Fox News all know this to be the case, but it likely is the first time people who get their “news” from ABC ever heard of it.

So, think about what has taken place since last Thursday, as the entirety of our fake national media establishment have hysterically claimed that simply listening to information provided free of charge by some foreigner is some sort of treasonous act, a false claim that millions of thoughtless citizens have now been parroting to their friends for four solid days. How are these people going to react when Michael Horowitz and William Barr, as a result of their respective investigations, formally report that the Coughing Crook and her minions at the DNC in fact paid $11 million for a bunch of salacious claims made by foreign agents, mainly from Russia?

That’s why Andrew McCabe, of all people, was on CNN Thursday night defending the money-laundering effort that Clinton and the DNC used to hide what they were doing. The skunks and snakes know what’s coming and are trying to spin a positive narrative.

So, there’s that. But that bit of key information is not even the biggest revelation the President rolled out during his interactions with the Little Wise Guy. How about this exchange:

Little Wise Guy: “You clearly believe there was a group of people working against you. Do you think President Obama was behind it?”

Trump: “I would say that he certainly must have known about it because it went very high up in the chain. But you’re going to find that out. I’m not going to make that statement quite yet. But I would say that President Obama had to know about it.” [Emphasis added]

“But you’re going to find that out.” What do you suppose the President meant by that? Do you believe, as the fake media wants you to believe, that Mr. Trump is a dope who just randomly says stuff that has no meaning?

Or do you think the President of the United States has a pretty good idea about what is coming, and is setting the stage for the American public to be able to internalize the coming results of the Horowitz and Barr investigations? Understand that, as far back as November, 2016, Mr. Trump was fully briefed on the plot against him by then-NSA Director Mike Rogers. The day after that briefing, in which he was informed that his offices in Trump Tower were under surveillance, the then-President-elect moved his entire transition team operation to a golfing property he owns in New Jersey.

We should all understand that the media has done everything it possibly can to prevent the public from learning the actual facts of the Obama-era spying and entrapment operation conducted against the Trump team. It is likely that less than 20% of the American people have ever heard about the Clinton/DNC funding of the Steele Dossier, likely that far fewer than that understand how high up in the Obama Administration this operation went.

Assuming the Barr investigation being led by John Durham is real, then a lot of stage-setting must be done before any indictments and prosecutions of high Obama officials begin, since our fake news media has worked so hard to ensure the public is largely uninformed.

So, we should look at the President’s interview with the little Clinton toady as a first step down that difficult road. Expect more inexplicable interviews to be granted to folks like Lester Holt at NBC and Norah O’Donnell at CBS in the weeks to come.

Interesting times.

That is all.
