Another Day, Another Failed Fake Media/Democrat Narrative

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Your fake news media in action! – NBC is under fire for having sat for more than three weeks on a story that would have helped to clear Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s name before the vote on his confirmation took place on October 6. Turns out that NBC reporter Kate Snow, in filing the fake news network’s original story on the gang rape claims being pushed at the time by nutjob Julie Swetnick and the Creepy Porn Lawyer, conveniently left out the fact that one of the “corroborating witnesses” the CPL had provided completely contradicted the key parts of Swetnick’s false story.

So, after Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley filed his first of two criminal referral letters related to Swetnick and CPL on Thursday (he filed a second letter on Friday), Snow and NBC apparently decided they better come clean and actually report the exculpatory evidence they had withheld, probably in an effort to  avoid the receipt of subpoenas from the Justice Department. Younger people expressed shock on social media Friday about NBC’s despicable behavior, but those of us old enough to remember the Bill Clinton/Monica Lewinsky scandal know it’s just par for the course.

After all, the Drudge Report became a big thing 20 years ago when Matt Drudge discovered that Newsweek and reporter Michael Isikoff had been sitting on the Lewinsky story for months in an effort to protect the predator Democrat President, and broke the story on his then-fledgling news-aggregation website.  There have been countless other examples of fake media outlets withholding what would be huge, possible Pulitzer Prize-winning stories in desperate efforts to protect their Democrat masters.  NBC itself was revealed just a year ago to have refused to allow Ronan Farrow to publish his #MeToo movement creating story about the disgusting abuser and huge Democrat donor Harvey Weinstein, which led to Farrow taking his research over to The New Yorker instead.

Protecting Democrats and violating journalistic norms to try to damage Republicans is what your fake news media does.  They believe it is in fact their duty.  Once you accept this reality, everything they do makes perfect sense.

Probably because she just won’t shut up and leave us alone. – Speaking of fake media outlets, the Washington Post has a Trump-bashing piece up this morning titled, “Why are we still talking about Hillary Clinton?”  Seriously, is there really some mystery here?  I honestly don’t recommend you waste your time reading it – just thought it was incredibly ironic, given the Pantsuit Princess’s own behavior, that such a piece could even be conceived and written, much less actually make its way into publication.

Optics are why Trump won, and they’re why this fake pipe bomb fiasco won’t impact the elections. – So, here are the optics of this whole fake pipe bomb deal:

President Donald Trump’s Justice Department just went balls to the wall to protect a group of the President’s most vicious critics who were being mailed fake bombs that posed no real threat to them. The initial arrest was made less than 72 hours after the “crisis” narrative arose.

Meanwhile, the Democrats and the fake news media are using the apparent Trump-supporting identity of this lunatic as a weapon to demean and libel not only the President of the United States, but any and all of Trump’s millions of loyal supporters as well.

Honestly, I’m not sure you could find a better way to ensure about a 99% turnout by Trump supporters to get out and vote in this election.

Think about it:  Mr. Trump, both as candidate and as President, has now held over 100 of his famous political rallies since 2015.  Those events have been attended by upwards of a million people, probably even more than that.  In all of those rallies, the fake news media has been able to capture exactly one violent act by a single Trump supporter, an elderly man who threw a harmless punch at a young protester who was being escorted out of the arena at one of the 2016 campaign events.

Now, we have a second apparent Trump supporter who is alleged by the FBI to be the person who has somehow sent 13 of these fake pipe bombs to various critics of the President.  I say “alleged” because, given that at least several of these packages were obviously not delivered by the U.S. Postal Service, since photos of them clearly show the packages were not postmarked, the FBI has yet to adequately explain how one guy driving an extremely distinctive white van could have caused all these packages to have been hand-delivered to various destinations all over the country within 36 hours of each other.

But I digress.

So we have this one guy out of more than a million who have attended Trump rallies, and out of more than 60 million who voted for him in 2016, an obvious dimwitted steroid freak who we’re supposed to believe is some criminal mastermind with almost magical powers of transporting himself and his fake bombs all over the country, and our fake news media and their Democrat masters are tarring and feathering the entire Trump supporter base with his actions.

I don’t really know what to say other than to point out that stuff like this is exactly why Trump got elected in the first place.  This constant, unending demeaning and slandering of ordinary Americans whose main desire in life is to be able to quietly live their lives with their friends and families in peace and some semblance of freedom from oppression by the government and assault from the elite political class is what caused millions of us out here in Flyover Country to not just accept Trump as a better option to the career criminal being offered up by the Democrats, but to ultimately become excited about rallying to his cause in 2016.

This week alone has already seen the utter collapse of two major Democrat/media narratives:  The Khashoggi thing that no ordinary American had time to care about, and the obviously-staged “migrant caravan” narrative that has backfired hugely on the Democrats.

This fake pipe bomb deal is well on its way to become the third major backfiring narrative in a single week.  That has to be some sort of record, doesn’t it?

Just another day in fake news media collapsing narratives America.

That is all.

Kavanaugh Now Under Assault by a Pack of Rabid Animals

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

So it’s not the Clarence Thomas playbook after all, it’s the Roy Moore playbook. – The Campaign Update was wrong 10 days ago when it noted that the Democrats were going to give Brett Kavanaugh the Clarence Thomas treatment, and mount another “high-tech lynching” to gin up their demented voter base.  Instead, as Sunday’s events clearly demonstrate, it’s the Roy Moore treatment instead.

Which makes sense when you think about it:  The Democrat effort to kill the Clarence Thomas nomination by bringing forward a single accuser spinning tall tales was an abject failure at the end of the day.  But the effort to kill Roy Moore and steal the Alabama senate seat he was seeking by digging up multiple women willing to accuse him of bad behavior more than 30 years ago was a resounding success.

The first new accuser came to us late Sunday afternoon via Ronan Farrow and some other fakenewser at The New Yorker, who give us the tall tale that Judge Kavanaugh “exposed himself” at some frat party in 1983.  Very predictably, the accuser admits she was drunk, can’t remember key details (sound familiar?) and also admits that she had to “assess my memory” and “consult my lawyer” for no fewer than…wait for it…SIX DAYS before coming forward with her “story.”  I swear I don’t make this stuff up – who could?

Even better, one has to read a full 1,000 words into the New Yorker story to find this admission that gives the lie to the entire piece:

So, you call yourself a journalist, you contact by your own admission “several dozen” people who were supposed to have been at the party in question, not one of them can confirm any aspect of the accuser’s story – not even the allegation that Kavanaugh was in fact at the party – and after all that epic failure to confirm your “story”, you just decide to throw it out there and pray nobody bothers to read past the first 999 words.  In a sane world, where the concept of “journalistic integrity” was still actually a thing, The New Yorker would fire everyone involved in this story.  But hey, it’s terrific clickbait, so they’ll probably all get bonuses.

Oh, but it gets even better.  This yarn, spun by a rabid anti-Trump activist who claims to have attended Yale at the same time as Kavanaugh back in the dark ages of disco and punk rock, is so specious and obviously false that, before Farrow decided to run with it, it was turned down by the shameless fake news hacks at NBC, the New York Times and the Washington Post!  This obvious hatchet job is a stain on the dead profession of journalism.

But, as the great Ron Popeil would say, “But that’s not all – there’s more!”

Admit it:  You just knew the creepy porn lawyer would find some way to get his name involved in all of this, right?  C’mon, sure you did.

That’s right, Michael Avenatti, who is trying to turn his representation of porn star Stormy Daniels into a Democrat presidential campaign – because, hey, these idiots voted for both Bill and Hillary Clinton, so why not a creepy porn lawyer, right? – claims he has a client who will blow the lid off of this entire circus, which quite honestly would be sort of a relief at this point.

Avenatti made his announcement on Twitter – because of course he did – claiming that he is “aware of significant evidence of multiple house parties in the Washington, D.C. area during the early 1980s, during which Brett Kavanagh, Mark Judge and others would participate in the targeting of women with alcohol/drugs to allow a ‘train’ of men to subsequently gang rape them.”

So think about this:  Other than these rabid anti-Republican activist accusers, literally no one who can actually be shown to have known Judge Kavanaugh has anything bad to say about him at all, not even contemporaries who describe themselves as “life-long friends” of Christine Ford.  But, under our brave new #MeToo rules, we as a society are supposed to just believe these accusers and their extremely expensive lawyers who are most certainly being paid by some shadowy activist group funded by George Soros and/or Tom Steyer, for the sole reason that they happen to be women.  Oh, but, also under our brave new rules, we aren’t supposed to even call them “women” because that’s all gender-discriminatory or something.

It’s all so confusing. And evil.

Thankfully, we had despicable Dianne Feinstein to jump in and provide the day’s comic relief.  The doddering, evil Senator from California first released a copy of a copy of what she claims to be the “unredacted” version of the letter she received from Christine Ford way back in July and then sat on for two months.  In this “copy” of the original letter, the first sentence of the 2nd paragraph – which was blacked out in the original version Feinstein provided to the Judiciary Committee – is in a different font than the rest of the letter, and has obviously been altered.

That is the key sentence, which now reads:  “Brett Kavanaugh physically and sexually assaulted me during high school in the early 1980s.”  There will of course be no word from Sen. Feinstein’s office on what the original letter actually said.

To make her day even more hysterically funny and utterly despicable, Senator Feinstein next issued a letter in response to the new allegations against Kavanaugh, in which she very predictably calls for the cancellation of the hearing scheduled for this Thursday.  The third and final paragraph begins with this sentence:  “It is time to set politics aside.”

*sigh*

Dianne Feinstein is a purely evil human being – there is simply no other way to assess the role she has played in this systematic destruction of a good man’s character for purely political gain.

Many – even some Republicans – are urging Kavanaugh to withdraw his nomination in light of these new, obviously false accusations.  But that won’t do him any good.  What Kavanaugh and everyone else needs to recognize here is that the Democrats are a pack of rabid animals at this point.  They smell blood and they are not going to be satisfied with simply keeping Kavanaugh off the Supreme Court.  They are out to literally destroy him as a judge and as a person.

These rabid pack animals will not stop until one of two things happens:

  • Chuck Grassley, Mitch McConnell and the rest of the Senate Republicans grow some huevos and put a stop to this nonsense by confirming this extremely well-qualified candidate to the Supreme Court; or
  • Judge Kavanaugh pulls his nomination, resigns his appellate court seat and disappears entirely from public life.

If the latter happens, then there probably will be a huge “Blue Wave” at the ballot box in November, because the GOP base will surely not bother to turn out to vote for a bunch of cowardly weasels on Election Day.  If the GOP can’t even confirm a Supreme Court nominee with a Senate majority, then what good are they?

This week determines the election, one way or another.  The Democrats know this – that’s what this entire circus has been all about.

But it’s not just about the election – much, much more is at stake here.  We are either going to remain a Constitutional republic in which the rules of evidence and presumption of innocence still apply, or we are going to completely give in to this dangerous #MeToo paradigm in which any man’s entire life can be destroyed by the simple fact of an accusation, unsupported by any actual facts at all, leveled by a person who possesses female genitalia.

Our nation’s entire future is at stake here, and that is not an overstatement.  Sadly, there is no way to know if McConnell, Grassley or any other senate Republican has figured this out, or even gives a damn if they have.

That is all.

The Big Question: If Mueller Makes Big Moves After Labor Day, Will Sessions Respond in Kind?

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

This is NBC, pushing that false narrative 24 hours every day. – NBC’s fake news hack Chuck Todd says something big is coming from Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel office today.  Not tomorrow, not Sunday, not next week – today.  Why?  Because Todd is still pushing the narrative that Mueller is some sort of stand-up guy who plays by the rules, and the rules dictate that his SC office should avoid influencing the November elections by making any big news between Labor Day and Election Day.  Given that today is the last “working” day before Labor Day, Todd figures Mueller’s gonna lower the boom on President Donald Trump.

This is, of course, all a lot of stuff and nonsense, as the great James J. Kilpatrick used to say.  Robert Mueller is just another Deep State skunk, and so is Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, and there are no “rules” or even the least bit of oversight governing this fake investigation.  This is a witch hunt based on a fantasy, explicitly designed to interfere with the ability of a duly-elected President of the United States to conduct the nation’s business.

Far from being silent for the next two months, we can expect Mueller and his gang of Clinton/Obama hacks to pull out all the stops in their efforts to tilt the midterm elections in favor of the Democrats, which was the plan here from the day of Mueller’s appointment by his buddy Rosenstein.  Mueller’s office might announce something significant today, or it might not.  But the thought that this Special Counsel is observing any of the rules or traditions of the past is hilariously stupid, and not remotely connected to reality.

Jeff Sessions’ job is safe, until it isn’t. – In an interview with Bloomberg yesterday, President Trump said that Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ job is safe until at least Election Day.  After that, all bets are off.

“I just would love to have him do a great job,” the president said.

And thus the competing theories about the Trump/Sessions relationship are set up once again.  Is Sessions just another Deep State skunk who is too compromised personally to ever make a move to bring all the Obama/Clinton-era bad actors to justice?  Or is the public feuding between the President and his Attorney General a Kabuki dance designed to build up public and media sympathy for Sessions before he begins to make his moves in that direction?

Here’s the deal on that:  If you don’t see Sessions doing something big during the month of September, if you don’t see him responding in-kind to any big moves made by Mueller, you should expect to see him fired shortly after Election Day.

Speaking of NBC, The Daily Beast published a report on Thursday claiming that NBC’s executives threatened Ronan Farrow if he didn’t stop reporting on serial rapist and big Hollywood muckety-muck Harvey Weinstein.  This threat apparently came after Farrow had left the peacock network in protest over NBC’s refusal to run his expose’ of Weinstein which started the whole #MeToo movement.

If you remember, NBC claimed at the time that it felt Farrow’s reporting was “not ready” for publication, but Farrow had no problem convincing The New Yorker to run the story within weeks after leaving NBC a year ago.  The Daily Beast report, naturally based largely on anonymous sources (because of course it is), claims that “NBC News general counsel Susan Weiner made a series of phone calls to Farrow, threatening to smear him if he continued to report on Weinstein.”  NBC of course denies the report, but NBC reporters and executives have lied so often about so many things in recent years, and the network is itself so deeply involved with trying to cover up its own series of #MeToo-related scandals that no one can really take anything it says at face value anymore.

At the end of the day this is just a pissing contest between two of the worst fake news media outlets in the business, but the most believable aspect of it is the allegation that NBC did everything it could to protect a heinous scumbag like Harvey Weinstein.  Because, what else would a network whose biggest fake news personality at the time was Matt Lauer do?

Just another day in fake news media America.

That is all.

Trump Predicted Schneiderman’s Demise – is There Just no End to all This #Winning?

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Tired of all this #Winning yet? – The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) announced on Monday that April was the best month for the federal budget in the nation’s history.  CBO officials said the government ran a surplus of $218 billion for the month, which of course is the month in which personal federal income tax returns are due.  The government’s intake of $518 billion for the month was $40 billion more than CBO’s analysts had anticipated, which is no surprise given that these are the same analysts who missed the 10-year cost of Obamacare by about half a trillion dollars.  The analysts attribute the higher tax income to – guess what? – stronger than anticipated economic growth during Donald Trump’s first year in office.

#Winning!

Oh, you poor thing. – Failed comedian Kathy Griffin, in yet another desperate plea for attention, told her Twitter followers on Monday that she’s just found out she’s been placed “on a brand new ‘Kill List.’ ”  It is not clear exactly who Miz Griffin thinks would bother taking the time and energy to try to kill someone so insignificant.  But, after predictably taking a shot at President Trump and his “game criminals” and another at…wait for it…Ryan Secrest, Griffin pointed her crooked, blood-soaked index finger at an unlikely source:

“…someone at “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” a “show I have done many times for free, ” has “a ‘problem with me’” and they’re “spreading the word around.”

Man, you just can’t cure crazy.

Yeah, that’s probably not going to help. – California Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein and 11 other Democrat senators sent a letter to the White House on Monday urging President Trump to keep the United States in the terrible, awful, no good very bad deal with Iran.  Notably, not a single one of the Democrat hypocrite signatories to this letter voted to allow the U.S. Senate to vote on the deal – every one of them participated in the filibuster to prevent the Senate from exercising its constitutional oversight on international agreements like this.  Given that, I’m guessing the President won’t be factoring this letter into his decision-making on the matter.

You might want to consider one of those countries that doesn’t have an extradition treaty with the United States. – The Pantsuit Princess, trying to hide what is obviously a back brace beneath her pantsuit jacket, told an audience that she considered fleeing the country after she lost the election in 2016 to Donald Trump.  Claiming she had “gotten some offers” to move to New Zealand in the weeks following Election Day, the Coughing Crook told her audience that “I must say I really did appreciate the offers. Gave them some thought,” Clinton joked. “But I’m going to stay put because we have work to do in my country as well.”  Why yes, yes we do.  Good of you to notice.

Mr. Schneiderman, your #MeToo Moment has arrived. – New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, who has led the “resistance” effort among Democrat state attorneys general to challenge pretty much ever major action taken by the Trump Administration in court, got his #MeToo comeuppance on Monday when The New Yorker filed a report in which four women claim he is a serial woman abuser of the worst kind.  The women variously accuse the pompous bully with slapping them, choking them, punching them, and a broad variety of verbal and sexual abuse.

As always happens when public figures become embroiled in a major scandal, people began scouring Schneiderman’s social media accounts for unfortunate postings.  The tweet below, issued just a few weeks ago, is a prime example of Schneiderman’s rank hypocrisy:

For his part, Schneiderman first posted a denial, ironically using his Twitter account for the purpose:

Uh, ok.  Guess he was also doing a little “role-playing” when he was a featured speaker at the “Women’s March” that took place shortly after Trump’s inauguration in January 2017.  Hashtag, irony.

Shortly after that lame tweet, as it became obvious the whole “role-playing” dodge wasn’t going to fly, Schneiderman announced his blessed resignation.  Not that that will change anything in New York – the state’s Democrat machine will just plug some other abusive jerk into the job and keep Schneiderman’s efforts to undermine American democracy going.  Because that’s what the purpose of today’s Democrat Party has become.

But here’s the best part of all of this.  Those enterprising social media scourers also came up with this little gem from Donald Trump’s Twitter feed, circa 2013:

It took five years to come about, but once again, Donald Trump just keeps on #Winning.  Somewhere, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is cowering in a corner, praying Trump doesn’t issued any tweets targeting him.  Hilarious.

Just another day in Donald Trump just keeps on #Winning America.

That is all.

The Fake News Media’s “Flirty” Floodgates Are Opening Up Wide

  • I suppose that yesterday, November 29, 2017, will forever be remembered as the day the floodgates truly began to open for the fake news media, which is apparently nothing more than a boiling cesspool of sexual abuse in the workplace.  First NBC’s venerable ultra-liberal Today Show host Matt Lauer, then commie long-time radio performer Garrison Keillor (I had thought he was dead – go figure), then NPR Chief Fake News Editor David Sweeney, and finally CNN’s Teddy Davis, the producer of Jake Tapper’s daily low-rated fake news-fest, gone, all gone, in a furious flurry of sexual harassment payback mania.
  • One can only wonder where it will all go from here.  For example, when will police in New York City (where NBC is located), Minneapolis (Keillor’s base of operations, as it were), Atlanta (CNN’s home) and Washington, DC (where NPR sucks up its taxpayer dollars) begin opening criminal investigations into all the fake media sexual abuse?  After all, the Los Angeles Police Department recently announced it has no fewer than 28 active criminal investigations into all the sex abuse charges that have been leveled at Harvey Weinstein and myriad other Hollywood hot shots – won’t the same elements of the law apply to all these fake journalists and mediocre entertainers?
  • Hey, before you even think about it, don’t any of you Lauer lovers try to tell anyone that it’s not the same thing, that the allegations against him don’t rise to the same level as those targeting Weinstein.  Lauer is a guy who insisted that NBC install a secret button under his desktop that allowed him to remotely lock his office door once an unsuspecting victim had entered his lair.  What in the hell did NBC’s executives think he wanted that for?  Plus, we have even more allegations against Lauer leaking out this morning.  So, please, spare us.
  • And what of all these morning “news and talk” programs in general?  We have now had three major figures – Mark Halperin of MSNBC’s Morning Joe, CBS’s Morning host Charlie Rose, and now Lauer – knocked off because they are, well, monsters.  How many more monsters lurk out there amidst all the snark, wine guzzling, fake laughter and phony on-camera camaraderie that goes on on those sets each morning?  How long can it be before we find out the hard way?
  • Also, what’s up at 30 Rock?  As already noted, two of the big media muckety-mucks who have now gone down – Lauer and Halperin – were NBC people.  Let us also never forget that NBC was the network that attempted to bury Ronan Farrow’s original investigative report on Harvey Weinstein, claiming it was not ready to be aired.  Farrow then took the story to The New Yorker, which almost immediately took it to press.
  • Was NBC News President Andy Lack – who hilariously claimed yesterday to have been blissfully unaware of Lauer’s horrible behavior – in fact nervous about having Lauer being forced to report on Weinstein in great depth and detail?  How would that have worked?  Would he have been able to keep a straight face while pretending to condemn Weinstein’s behavior?  Would he have required an off-air coach to teach him the proper facial expressions to mimic while doing his “reporting?”  In any event, it is becoming uncomfortably evident that NBC has a culture problem that needs to be addressed pretty quick, because the thought that Lack or anyone else who worked with Lauer had no idea about his behavior is patently absurd.
  • For those of us out here in flyover country, the moral to this accelerating fake news media sex abuse extravaganza is the old “those who live in glass houses should not be throwing stones” deal.  Lauer, Halperin and Rose have all sat there for many years in their fancy broadcast sets with their pancake makeup and carefully coiffed hair (yes, Lauer used to have hair), lecturing and preaching to ordinary Americans about how they need to behave, not just in the workplace, but in every aspect of their daily lives.  But, as so often turns out to be the case in this crazy life, it turns out that many of those doing the lecturing and preaching are the very worst actors imaginable.
  • In response to all of yesterday’s revelations, longtime muckraker Geraldo Rivera said in a tweet that “News is a flirty business.”  Given what we are all starting to find out about the culture that exists inside these big fake news operations, I think he just misspelled “dirty”.

Just another day in fake news media downfall America.

That is all.
