Sunday News Roundup: No Justice in St. Louis, A Recall Drive Targets Durkan, and Trump Sends Dems a Blunt Message

The only “justice” available in St. Louis is the kind paid for by George Soros. – The St. Louis couple who brandished a pistol and rifle to protect their homes from a group of about 300 aggressive BLM Marxists who had broken down the gate to invade their community had their home invaded again on Friday. This time the invasion – and confiscation of their guns – was conducted by police acting on the orders of Obama-funded city prosecutor Kimberly Gardner:

So, a group of potentially violent rioters can destroy the legally-placed entrance to a gated community and invade private property (the streets in the neighborhood are owned by the HOA) and this “circuit attorney” will do nothing. But anyone who brandishes a permitted firearm as a means of protecting their own home will be subject to search and seizure and potential prosecution.

This is absolutely outrageous, and another instance where we see the U.S. Department of Justice doing nothing to intervene. William Barr, where are you?

The only real justice being executed in the United States right now appears to be whatever comes from the President’s desk. – Corrupt Marxist Minnesota Governor Tim Walz found that out the hard way late Friday evening, as his despicable request for a federal government bailout to repair the riot damage done to Minneapolis was outright denied by the Trump Administration.

The federal government has denied Gov. Tim Walz’s request for aid to help rebuild and repair Twin Cities structures that were damaged in the unrest following George Floyd’s death.

Walz asked President Donald Trump to declare a “major disaster” for the state of Minnesota in his request to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) on July 2. More than 1,500 buildings were damaged by fires, looting and vandalism in the days of unrest that followed Floyd’s May 25 death in Minneapolis police custody, racking up more than $500 million in damages, according to Walz.

The governor’s spokesman, Teddy Tschann, confirmed late Friday that the request for federal aid was denied.

“The Governor is disappointed that the federal government declined his request for financial support,” Tschann said in a statement. “As we navigate one of the most difficult periods in our state’s history, we look for support from our federal government to help us through.”

Oh, darn. Oh, heck. Oh, that nasty old Donald Trump.

Thank God for Donald Trump and his clear-eyed view of this world. These riots were Democrat Party riots. BLM and Antifa, the two domestic terrorist groups that organized and managed the riots, are nothing but Democrat Party armed support groups, just as the Ku Klux Klan was for more than a century in this country. These Democrat Party riots were enabled and urged on by Democrat mayors and Democrat governors and simply do not in any way merit the intervention of the U.S. taxpayer to help to pay for the damage they caused.

This Trump ruling was a big middle finger to Gov. Walz, and it sends a very important signal to the Democrat Party and its armed terrorists: You break it, you buy it.

It is the only proper signal to send.

News you won’t see reported on CNN or MSNBC. – A Washington state judge approved a petition effort to recall despicable Democrat/Marxist Mayor Jenny Durkan, the feckless nitwit who facilitated the June riots in her city that led to the illegal establishment of the infamous CHAZ/CHOP area.

A King County Superior Court judge has approved a petition for an election to recall Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan.

The Seattle Times reports the ruling Friday on charges filed by a group of five people last month comes after weeks of local protests against racism and police brutality – sparked by the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

Once any recall petition is approved, signatures are needed to qualify for a special election ballot. The petitioners must, within 180 days, collect valid signatures from a number of voters equal to 25% of the votes cast in the last election. In this case, signatures from more than 50,000 Seattle voters would be needed.

The Durkan petitioners’ recall effort accuses the mayor of “endanger(ing) the peace and safety of the community” by allowing police to “leak false information about fabricated crimes and threats to the media” and issuing a citywide curfew without sufficient notice to the public. The petitioners also accused Durkan of restricting certain property rights in downtown Seattle and Capitol Hill, the neighborhood where many of the protests took place.

In a response Saturday, Durkan’s chief of staff, Stephanie Formas, said the mayor “consistently has acted to protect the City’s public health and safety and to respect the constitutional rights to peaceful protesters.”

The statement by Durkan’s chief of staff is an outright lie. Durkan willingly facilitated the actions of the rioters every step of the way, including ordering her police to stand down as the domestic terrorists seized control of the 3rd precinct police building and a city hall annex. She only relented and allowed the police to do their jobs after the rioters broke into her own gated community and vandalized her home.

No Mayor in U.S. history – with the possible exceptions of Bill de Blasio and Lori Lightfoot – has more richly deserved to be booted out of office than Durkan. If this recall effort fails, then any thinking person still living in Seattle with the means to do so should flee the area, because all hope for avoiding an inevitable descent into utter chaos will be lost.

America Stands on the Cusp of a Second Chance at Reconstruction

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

A new Reuters poll finds that 51% of Republican voters favor “sweeping police reforms,” a finding that no doubt shocks 98% of the national news media, but won’t surprise many Republicans. After all, you just need to review the policing wasteland we have seen all across the nation over the past three weeks – and the heinous police crime that set it all off – to understand the reasons why.

One aspect of the George Floyd murder that received very little coverage from our corrupt news media was the statement made by the local County Attorney early on that it normally takes him over 6 months to bring charges in a criminal case against a police officer. Ordinary citizens enjoy no such luxury: In a case like the one against Derek Chauvin, in which the killer wasn’t even arrested until 4 days had passed, any ordinary citizen would have been charged with at least 2nd degree murder within 24 hours after the act while they were sitting in a jail cell with a 300-lb sex offender alternately named Bubba or Doris, depending on what time of day it was.

In this particular case, due to all the public outrage, the County Attorney got his slow butt in gear and expedited the process. But normally, without all the demonstrations and rioting that took place, Chauvin would have been walking around a free man for 6 months before charges were even brought against him. Why does it take so long to charge a cop? Because of all the special protections police unions negotiate into police contracts during negotiations. In many cities, firing a cop is harder than firing a treasonous Obama operative embedded in the National Security Council. It’s ridiculous.

We’ve lost sight of this now, but Chauvin had had 18 formal complaints filed against him during the course of his police career. EIGHTEEN. Literally everyone in the department knew he was a loose cannon and a bad actor, yet he was still out on the street, free to abuse the people of the community. That’s insanity. Stuff like that has to stop. Unions have their legitimate place, but their place needs to stop being to negotiate nonsense into police contracts that enable this kind of tragedy, which certainly led directly to the killing of George Floyd.

GOP Senator Rand Paul filed a bill yesterday that would outlaw the issuing and execution of “no-knock warrants,” one of which led to the killing of Breonna Taylor, an African-American resident of Louisville, Kentucky who was murdered by 3 Louisville officers while she slept in her bed on March 13. No-knock warrants are a brutish tactic straight out of the Soviet Union or Nazi Germany and have no place in a free society in which the presumption of innocence supposedly underpins our justice system.

This, too, must stop.

Two weeks ago, the Minneapolis City Council passed a resolution outlawing the use of choke holds by police officers and mandating that bystanding officers who observe another officer, like Chauvin, engaging in abusive behavior, intervene to stop it. What idiot doesn’t support a reform like that?

Well, ok, don’t answer that question – we all know there are plenty of idiots on all sides of this issue.

The point here is that, yes, most real conservative thinkers know we need significant police reforms in our country and have needed them for a very long time. There is plenty of common ground to be plowed here by people of good intent. The question, of course, is whether enough people of good intent occupy seats in both houses of congress and in state legislatures around the country to get them done. There is no doubt that President Trump would gladly sign a good bill into law, just as he did with the major prison reform bill last year.

As for the rest of us, we all need to stop just knee-jerking to sloganeering like “I back the blue!,” or “the cops are all racists and murderers!” whenever this subject comes up. It hasn’t been many years ago when we almost universally revered what we were in the habit of calling “first responders” because the truth is that 98% of them are good and brave men and women who do the best they can every day to protect the public.

The problem is that the 2% of them who aren’t present a very clear and present danger to our society, as we have conclusively witnessed over the past three weeks. Leaders of police unions need to understand this, and stop agitating for provisions in police contracts that provide bad actors with  cover to keep abusing the public.

As I wrote on Wednesday, our country has spent the last 150 years paying for the abject failure by our society’s leaders to properly execute Reconstruction following the Civil War. We did not have enough people of good intent serving in leadership positions at that time to get the job done.

What America faces today is a very similar situation – we essentially stand on the cusp of a second chance at reconstruction. The first step in that reconstruction must be to enact reforms that ensure black Americans receive the same level of police protection and courtesy received by white citizens. We have a President who has already gotten very significant reforms accomplished in this area, and solid majorities of voters for both major political parties who support further reforms.

The question will now become whether there are enough GOP members of congress like Rand Paul and enough Democrat members willing to buck the constant overreaching and obstructionism of Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer to get major legislation sent to the President’s desk.

Or is it more likely that maybe last Wednesday, at a meeting during which they were planning how to milk maximum political leverage out of this carefully-choreographed George Floyd funeral tour, some enterprising staffer found this on Amazon:

So, you order 50 of those, and presto! Even Gerrold Nadler can have his very own Kente cloth scarf, all for the cost of about $550.

Do you think there is a single person among that group of congressional Democrats who has the slightest understanding of the origins of the Kente cloth, or what its meaning is? Because, to very real human beings in Ghana, which served as one of the central staging points for the African slave trade centuries ago, those cloths and their patterns do have very special meaning.

They aren’t some costume for cynical politicians to wear to Halloween parties, not some modern-day version of the blackface get-up worn by the Ralph Northams and Justin Trudeaus in their younger days. Do you suppose that Nancy Pelosi or Gerrold Nadler or a single one of their Democrat colleagues gave any of that a moment of thought as they dressed up for their moment of disgraceful cultural appropriation? If you do, you’re a fool.

When asked at her press conference if she thought maybe she and her colleagues were using the garments to pander to Black voters, Pelosi just smiled and asked, “Well, is it working?” What else do you need to know?

Incidentially, Pelosi’s is a good question, one to which I really don’t think we know the answer yet. It’s a long time until November, folks.

Does he keep notebooks full of black people, too? – Then there’s pathetic RINO Mitt Romney, who spent about 30 seconds interfering in a Black Lives Matter march on Sunday to get his own photo op:

In a report at The Hill today, Romney, the most whitebread white guy in the entire U.S. Senate, says that he wants to be the catalyst who forces change in the GOP’s relationship with the Black community:

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) on Monday said his party has “an embarrassingly small share of African American votes” and would like to change that, one day after he marched in a protest in Washington.

Romney said he is working with several Republican colleagues on legislation to “make some changes to the way we do our policing” in an effort to crack down on aberrant officers who violate civil rights or use excessive force against people of certain races.

He noted that Democrats who unveiled a police reform bill earlier Monday did not reach out to any Republicans to discuss the legislation beforehand.

He said the lack of outreach indicates it “is designed to be a message piece.”

He said he hopes to put together what ultimately will be bipartisan legislation to reform policing that can pass the Senate.

He said any legislation “needs to have people on both sides of the aisle working together.”

Let’s just all ignore the fact that President Donald Trump has, at urging of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, already stolen much of the thunder from any congressional deal on this with his signing of prison reform legislation last year. That prison reform bill, by the way, repealed several of the provisions targeting young Black males contained in the 1994 crime bill signed by Bill Clinton – and co-sponsored by Creepy Uncle Quid Pro Farty China Joe Biden.

Yeah, let’s ignore all of that because Mitt freakin’ Romney thinks he’s going to be the guy who bridges the gap between the GOP and the African American community.

Democrats hate Jewish people, part 62,532. – New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and his NYPD have looked the other way as tens of thousands of protesters, rioters, looters and arsonists have turned much of New York City into Dresden circa 1945 for the past two weeks, never saying word one about social distancing or wearing masks.

But boy, let a group of maybe a dozen Hasidic Jewish kids who are at zero risk of getting or spreading the Wuhan Virus congregate together in a local park, and this is what happens:

The first leak in the Minneapolis dam. – A manufacturing company that employed 50 Minnesotans says it will move elsewhere after city officials refused to do anything to prevent its facility from burning to the ground week before last. Kris Wyrobek, President and owner of 7-Sigma, Inc. told the Minneapolis Star Tribune that “we are sorting through the rubble, trying to figure out how to get this operational again. We are cautiously optimistic we can do that. But we are certainly not able to do that in Minneapolis.”

From the Tribune report:

“They don’t care about my business,” said Kris Wyrobek, president and owner of 7-Sigma Inc., which has operated since 1987 at 2843 26th Av. in south Minneapolis. “They didn’t protect our people. We were all on our own.”

Wyrobek said the plant, which usually operates until 11 p.m., shut down about four hours early on the first night of the riots because he wanted to keep his workers out of harm’s way. He said a production supervisor and a maintenance worker who live in the neighborhood became alarmed when fire broke out at the $30 million Midtown Corner affordable housing apartment complex that was under construction next door.

“The fire engine was just sitting there,” Wyrobek said, “but they wouldn’t do anything.”

Wyrobek said the decision to relocate from the radical leftist Democrat-run city has already been made and that there is nothing feckless Mayor Jacob Frey could say that would change his mind. Expect hundreds of other Minneapolis business owners to turn this first leak in the dam into a raging flood in the days and weeks to come.

Pelosi, Fellow Dems Prove that Cultural Appropriation is Not a Thing Anymore

There comes that “T” word again. – Democrats in congress unveiled their own plan for de-funding the nation’s police departments, couching the plan to create societal chaos all across the nation in the warm and fuzzy language they always use to surround their plans to bring creeping Soviet-style communism to America. Check out this video clip:

There’s that word again: Transform. It was Obama’s code for implementing communism used throughout his 2008 presidential campaign, and it has been repeatedly used by Democrats and their corrupt media toadies ever since.

The Democrat plan is to “transform” local police departments in the very same way that they “transformed” the public schools over the past 40 years: By eliminating excellence and dumbing them down to the lowest common denominator.

You don’t have to believe me: All you have to do is listen closely to what they say themselves. Here, for example, is Minneapolis city council member Lisa Bender this morning on CNN:

“Yes, I hear that loud and clear from a lot of my neighbors. And I know — and myself, too, and I know that that comes from a place of privilege.”

Did you catch that? The basis for deconstructing and de-funding local police departments is that the expectation of excellent community policing comes from a place of “white privilege.” Now, any sane and rational and patriotic American who actually cares about this country would attempt to address any inequality in community policing by raising the standards in the neighborhoods who are currently being under-served.

But not the Democrats – oh, no. That is just not the Democrat way, after all, thanks to their allegiance to the teachings of Karl Marx and Saul Alinsky.

No, the Democrat approach is to instead implement policies designed to ensure that literally no part of their communities are in any way safe or secure – thus, making all parts of the community equally awful. It’s all about demonic notions of “fairness” and “equality.”

By the way, that CNN clip is a tailor-made 30-second ad for this Fall’s Trump Campaign. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had an ad up using it by the end of today.

Hey, I’m old enough to remember when the social media outrage mob would have called this “cultural appropriation.”

A bunch of privileged, mostly-white members of congress, most of whom have never set foot in Ghana – where the kente cloth garments they are wearing orginated – taking a knee for 8 minutes and 46 seconds to “honor” George Floyd, a man who also never set foot in Ghana.

So, “cultural appropriation” is obviously not a thing anymore in the wake of the past 2 weeks of demonstrations and looting and burning and rioting. You know, kind of like that whole “social distancing” deal that was all the liberal rage 15 days ago.

By the way, all those members of congress taking the knee? They all live behind walls in high-end communities, have security details and are driven to and from work in limousines. So, if you think that anything they’re planning on doing to you and your communities will have the slightest impact on their personal lives, well, think again.

Saturday News Roundup: MSNBC Hires Coup Plotter, Whitmer Poured out in Court, and More

Oh, sure. Why not? – Just when you thought MSNBC was incapable of sinking any lower, they fooled you again. Late Friday the fake news cable channel introduced its new “legal analyst”: Former FBI lawyer Lisa Page.

Conservative Twitter is outraged by this hiring, but why? Shouldn’t we all have expected it? After all, MSNBC already employs John Brennan and other Obamagate coup cabal honchos. I’m just amazed they haven’t hired Peter Strzok yet. I mean, if your “news” operation is nothing more than a propaganda outlet for the Deep State, why not go all in?

My only question is whether the homely Ms. Page’s ghoulish face will actually be shown on TV, or will she send her “analyses” in via text, with a CC: to lover boy Strzok?

Phil Murphy doubles down on destroying New Jersey. – In the midst of the spectacles of mass demonstrations in which no one is staying at home or washing their hands or doing any social distancing, Democrat governors are continuing to extend their politically-motivated lockdowns.

Phil Murphy in New Jersey announced on Friday that he is going to keep the Garden State locked down through July 5 for no valid reason whatsoever.

Meanwhile, not even Dr. Fauci is keeping up this pretense anymore. – In a CNN interview yesterday, the little economy destroyer said schools should reopen in the Fall, although still with mitigations:

“In some situations there will be no problem for children to go back to school,” Fauci said during the interview. “In others, you may need to do some modifications. You know, modifications could be breaking up the class so you don’t have a crowded classroom, maybe half in the morning, half in the afternoon, having children doing alternate schedules.”

Are you listening, Gov. Murphy? Probably not.

But there is massive WINNING in Michigan. – 77 year-old barber Karl Manke won a big victory before the Michigan state Supreme Court. In a 7-0 decision, the Court poured out Michigan’s abusive Governor Gretchen Whitmer and the activist appeals court judges who have abused Manke for the past few weeks, allowing Manke to retain his barber’s license and keep his shop open while the case against him is fully considered by the Court of Appeals. A 3-judge panel of the Appeals court had ordered Manke to close while the case was being heard.

Manke’s attorney, David Kallman, called it the “biggest, most lopsided victory of his career.” Life as an aspiring banana republic dictator is getting harder and harder for Frau Gretchen.

“De-fund the police! De-fund the police! De-f…wait, what? A new poll? Just 16% support? Are you sure? Ok, ummmmm…Never-mind! Never-mind! Just kiddin’! Just kiddin’!” – In Friday’s Evening Wrap, we told you about the sudden backing down within the Minneapolis City Council from its Thursday calls to “dismantle” and “de-fund” the city’s police department in the wake of the murder of George Floyd.

After a new poll found that that concept is supported by just 16% of those surveyed, the Council decided on Friday to pass a very limited new measure that eliminates the police use of choke holds and requires by-standing officers to intervene when they see a fellow officer using excessive force, as happened to Floyd. These are simply commonsense measures that most Americans already support.

You have to look way down to about the 20th paragraph to find it, but a New York Times report this morning quotes Minneapolis’s worthless, spineless Mayor Jacob Frey as also pulling back any support for de-funding his police department:

Mayor Jacob Frey has said he does not support calls to dismantle the department. On Friday, City Council members voted to accept a civil rights investigation by the Minnesota Department of Human Rights and to adopt updates to the Police Department’s use of force policy that include a ban on chokeholds. The topic of eliminating some of the department’s functions was not discussed.

Despite this latest show of poll-based cowardice by one city’s radical Democrat city council, however, no one should think that the Democrat Party as a whole is abandoning the idea of abolishing traditional police departments nationwide. That remains the obvious end-game.

They and their corrupt media toadies will now simply double-down on their efforts to brainwash the public to accept this society-destroying notion until the polling numbers become more politically viable. We have an election in 6 months, and any politician actively running on a suicidal notion that only has 16% public support will get killed at the polls. They’ll have to get that support number up into the 40% range before their politicians will risk actual votes on it.

“Uh, Mr. Mayor? We’re gonna need a new emergency response team.” – All 57 members of the City of Buffalo, New York’s emergency response team resigned en masse after two of their members were placed on suspension after an altercation with a fairly old radical leftist protester.

The radical jackass was pushed to the ground by the two officers when he accosted them as they were attempting to break up an ongoing riot on Thursday.

John Evans, president of the Buffalo Police Benevolent Association, announced the 57-member team’s resignation at a press conference Friday.

“Fifty-seven resigned in disgust because of the treatment of two of their members, who were simply executing orders,” Evans told a local NBC affiliate.

So, the question here becomes whether the officers used “excessive force” on the old jackass. They certainly did shove him to get him out of the way as they attempted to do their jobs. Are the Buffalo mayor and city council now going to tell their police officers that they must now do nothing as they are harassed and prevented from doing their jobs by radical clowns like this?

If so, they’re going to lose many more officers in the future. As far as I can tell, this guy got exactly what he deserved.

“De-Fund the Police”: A Cancer on Our Society

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

So, now we’re de-funding the police. That’s the new mantra being pushed by the radical Democrat Party as it moves into what appears to be the end game of Barack Obama’s and Bernie Sanders’ promise to “transform this country.”

The terms “de-fund the police” or “dismantle the police” as it is being used in Minneapolis, are interchangeable. They are simply code for the goal of destabilizing American society by re-segregation and creating so much chaos in the nation’s cities that the government ultimately falls. Members of the Minneapolis city council were all over the place on Thursday spreading that message, along with Brian Fallon, a former spokesman for … wait for it… Hillary Clinton and Eric Holder. What a surprise, right? Fallon is a Director for a radical left group called “Demand Justice,” which has been pushing this concept for years now.

Minneapolis City Council President Lisa Bender, a self-loathing white leftist, tweeted that ““We are going to dismantle the Minneapolis Police Department and replace it with a transformative [that word again] new model of public safety.” She later told the Minneapolis Star Tribune that “she could imagine a scenario where the state’s investigation results in Minneapolis police eventually entering a receivership that restructures the department.”

Councilman Jeremiah Ellison – the son of Antifa and radical Islam-supporting Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison – tweeted that “And when we’re done, we’re not simply gonna glue [the department] back together. We are going to dramatically rethink how we approach public safety and emergency response.” Of course, “rethinking” public safety and emergency response means there will be none of either.

The concept the council is pushing would segregate the already-segregated city even further into a group of individual “communities,” and give “leaders” in each community the ability to determine how it is policed. This of course means that the poorest, mostly-minority neighborhoods in the city will fall into even more chaos than already exists, as the local race-baiters and gang leaders inevitably rise to seize the controls.

Yeah, you won’t have abusive bad cops coming in and often hassling young black men who are doing nothing wrong – you won’t have cops at all.  There will be no businesses left, because what idiot would try to run a business in a community in which looting will inevitably become an accepted way of life? As we have seen over the last 10 days, it already is accepted in Minneapolis, New York, Chicago and other Democrat-run cities around the country.

This “solution” will be great for the anti-Semite Ilhan Omar, whose district is overwhelmingly Somali Muslim immigrants and already largely a no-go zone run by Sharia Law enforcers. Dismantling the police and turning the department into basically just another social worker program will permanently institutionalize that paradigm and guarantee Omar a lifetime in congress. Meanwhile, the Somali American women who came to this country expecting equal protection under the law will be doomed to lives of subservience and abuse. This is not something that America should allow to exist.

This concept is already in place in France and other parts of Europe, having been pushed by the ballooning Muslim immigrant populations there and acceded to by the leftist/globalist morons who dominate their governments. Cities like Paris, Berlin and London are filled with “no-go” zones to which the police and non-Muslims never travel.

What this is at its base is the re-segregation of the country.  And once you have re-segregated the country fully into “communities” of people who possess little in common and adhere to no national identity, no national government can adequately address everyone’s interests and needs.

This movement is a cancer on our country, and it is metastasizing before our very eyes. If it is allowed to take firm hold in Minneapolis, it will inevitably spread from there.

Those who continue to fund Antifa through the various Soros front groups will also find themselves under investigation by the DOJ under the nation’s anti-terror statutes. They could also be subject to RICO prosecution.

Democrats who have thus far refused to denounce Antifa as the nation’s cities have burned will now be faced with a choice of either doing so now or be increasingly seen for what they really are: Enemies of this country.

Those of you who pay attention no doubt noticed that the narrative being pushed about the national riots shifted early Saturday morning from “these are just peaceful people who need to be heard,” to “all of this violence is being pushed by white nationalists.” Obviously a memo went out from the DNC or Soros headquarters telling every shameless leftist in the country to push this latest hoax.

That despicable, utterly false narrative was pushed all over cable news, including Fox; it was pushed by depraved Democrat members of congress; it was pushed by feckless Minnesota Governor Tim Walz; it was pushed by Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and pretty much every leftist talking head on television. It was pushed despite the lack of a shred of evidence to support it; it was pushed despite the statement by U.S. Attorney General William Barr making it clear that DOJ has intelligence indicating that the riots have been organized by Antifa; and it continued to be pushed well into the night despite a flood of video proof of the involvement of not only Antifa, but Black Lives Matter agitators as well.

It is the most despicable hoax narrative these depraved and despicable people have ever mounted, more despicable even than the Russia hoax and the Impeachment hoax.

You don’t have to believe me about this: All you have to believe is your own lyin’ eyes. Let’s go to the videotape.

It is no accident that every city in which these riots are taking place are run by Democrat political machines. It is no accident that the two groups fomenting these riots – Antifa and BLM – were created by the Democrat Party and funded by Democrat Party affiliate groups and front groups for George Soros.

America’s institutions and freedoms have been under constant assault from the Democrat Party for many decades now, really since that Party was created. Now, the Democrat Party has taken that war against America to the streets of our major cities.

This is unconscionable to civilized human beings. But hey, these are Democrats we’re talking about here. After yesterday, how can you be sure they have a conscience?

Minneapolis Burning: A Leadership Vacuum Leaves the Activists Fully In Charge

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Minnesota’s still burning, and it is no surprise. – Yesterday at around 5:00 CT, I gazed and listened in wonder at what can only be described as the single least effective law enforcement press conference ever to appear on national television. Here’s what I posted on Facebook as the presser concluded:

I don’t know if any of y’all are watching this press conference in Minneapolis right now, but these FBI/Minnesota law enforcement people are only making this situation worse. There will definitely be more rioting in that city tonight. This is the least effective law enforcement presser I have ever witnessed.

Participants in this presser included the local U.S. Attorney, Erica McDonald; the local FBI special agent in charge (SAC), whose name I did not get; an official with the Minnesota Bureau of Apprehension; and Mike Freeman, the local County Attorney. These folks had two objectives to achieve at this press conference: 1) to provide assurance that the investigation into the police killing of George Floyd was in competent hands and was proceeding quickly; and 2) to reassure the angry public that has been burning the city since Wednesday that justice will be swift and sure.

Unfortunately, neither goal was accomplished. Not remotely. And so we saw these scenes overnight:

It is complete chaos. No fewer than three police precinct stations have been burned.

Only Ms. McDonald delivered any messages that were remotely reassuring, and her role in all of this is purely secondary even though she led the conference. This was a murder, which is a state and local crime; the feds are only there to investigate civil rights violations and other potential federal crimes.

Instead of being reassured that justice will be done, the mostly-Black rioters were treated to a parade of pasty-white Minnesotans standing before the cameras, all saying they need more time, and all making excuses for why the four bad cops responsible for the killing are not already in jail and charged with a major crime. County Attorney Freeman even went so far as to outrageously state that he has “evidence” that no crime was committed despite the fact that the entire incident was unambiguously caught on video that everyone not living in a cave has now witnessed.

To be clear: Nothing these officials said would have had any effect on the Antifa and Black Lives Matters agitators who are being paid by Democrat funders to inflame the situation. Nothing would placate the radical Islamist activists who live in Ilhan Omar’s district – where much of the rioting is taking place – who are using this situation as an excuse to create havoc in their own community.

Remember, Minnesota is a state that elected this guy to be its Attorney General:

But these activists can’t succeed unless the public at large is already angry, and the participants in last night’s press conference only made them angrier. As Trey Gowdy told Fox News Host Martha MacAllum, there is no good reason why those police officers have not already been arrested and charged. If they weren’t cops, they certainly would have been.

That is up to County Attorney Freeman and the state’s Bureau of Apprehension. Those folks had better get moving, because this situation is only going to continue to get worse until they do.

And this crap doesn’t help. – I’ll defend President Donald Trump until my fingers bleed and there is nothing that could make me pull a lever for a Democrat in November, but tweets like this one are not in any way advisable or helpful:

That was all fine until the sloganeering about looting and shooting. How ridiculous and sad that he chose to do that on the very same day that he signed his well-grounded executive order denying Twitter and other big social media platforms liability protections under the Communications Decency Act.

With radical Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey a worthless emotional wreck and governor Tim Walz having zero clue about what to do here,  the rioters and the activists urging them on are fully in charge of a major American city.

This is what George Soros’s America looks like. Get a good look at it.

Minneapolis Mayor Becomes Latest Democrat to be Punked by Trump

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

You seriously cannot make these damn Democrats up. And even if you could, who in their right mind would want to? – Leftist nitwit Democrat Mayor of Minneapolis Jacob Frey has had his tiny head handed to him today by the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump.

The President will be holding one of his famous rallies at the city’s Target Center this Thursday, and the Mayor, along with his fellow activist police chief, Medaria Arradondo, have worked overtime to prevent that from happening. The Trump Campaign reports that it has received 72,000 ticket requests for the event, and the Target Center’s capacity is 19,356.

First, Chief Arradondo implemented a new rule banning his officers from working in uniform as security at any political events to earn additional income in their off-duty hours. The Chief laughably claims the timing of his new rule is mere coincidence, and that it is not politically-motivated. No one believes him.

The rule drew protests from the local Police Officer’s Federation, whose President and spokesman, Lt. Bob Kroll, said officers would work security at the event regardless. Thus, that ridiculous tactic will fail. Hilariously, the Trump Campaign responded to this despicable tactic by printing up red “Cops for Trump” t-shirts and they are selling like hotcakes, with all proceeds going to a police charity.

Next up is Mayor Frey, who on Monday presented Target Center officials with a “security” bill from the City for $530,000, even though his Chief of Police has already publicly stated the city will not be providing any “security” for the event. The Trump Campaign never asked for any “security” help for the event, making it quite clear that security plans and execution are the exclusive territory of the United States Secret Service, and that private security would be hired for the event as needed.

That fee the city proposes to charge the Target Center for hosting a Trump event compares to fees of ~$20,000 Minneapolis has charged for previous sellout events at that venue. Obviously, it is a grossly fraudulent billing that would never withstand scrutiny if challenged in court, which the Trump camp has promised to do if Frey doesn’t withdraw it.

Regardless, the President is calling the Mayor’s bluff and promised in a series of tweets that the event will come off as planned:

Expect the event to happen without any issues, and for the pathetic Mayor’s absurd “bill” to quietly be replaced by the City’s standard fee, and don’t expect your fake news media to update you on the story when all of that happens.
