Biden Trainwreck Coming: Michael Moore and Bill Maher get Something Right

I’m no fan of either Michael Moore or Bill Maher, but every once in a great while they get something right that deserves noting. Today is one of those great whiles.

On his Facebook page on Friday, the filmmaker Moore, who has obviously seen the Democrat Party’s latest polling data, put up a post warning his fans of a Biden trainwreck coming. He warned them that voter enthusiasm for President Donald Trump is “OFF THE CHARTS” and that a replay of the 2016 election could be on the way.

Filmmaker Michael Moore warned Democrats that President Trump appears to have momentum behind his reelection campaign in key battleground states, with the progressive activist saying enthusiasm for Trump is “OFF THE CHARTS” compared with Democratic nominee Joe Biden.

Moore pointed to polling in battleground states such as Minnesota and Michigan in making the case that Trump was running alongside or ahead of Biden in key areas, setting himself up for another potential upset in November.

“Are you ready for a Trump victory? Are you mentally prepared to be outsmarted by Trump again? Do you find comfort in your certainty that there is no way Trump can win? Are you content with the trust you’ve placed in the DNC [Democratic National Committee] to pull this off?” Moore wrote in a Facebook post on Friday.

“I’m warning you almost 10 weeks in advance. The enthusiasm level for the 60 million in Trump’s base is OFF THE CHARTS! For Joe, not so much,” he added. “Don’t leave it to the Democrats to get rid of Trump. YOU have to get rid of Trump. WE have to wake up every day for the next 67 days and make sure each of us are going to get a hundred people out to vote. ACT NOW!”

Isn’t that wonderful? Isn’t it great to see this human pig flying into another fit of rage and fear? Simply delightful.

HBO’s Bill Maher, another celebrity with whom the Democrats share information and talking points, said on his Friday night show that he is feeling “very nervous, the same way I did four years ago at this time” about the likelihood that President Trump would win the November election.

The Left is starting to realize that Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden might not coast to victory in November as easily as they have told themselves he would.

On Friday, “Real Time” host Bill Maher became the latest left-leaning member of the media to voice his concerns that President Donald Trump might actually win re-election. Speaking with MSNBC host Joy Reid of “The ReidOut,” Maher expressed his concerns about how the Republican National Convention may have spoken to voters.

“I don’t know if this stuff works, but it might,” Maher said, as reported by Fox News. “I am feeling less confident about this — maybe it’s just their convention bump got to me, but I’m feeling less confident than I was a month ago.”

Reid agreed with Maher that the RNC was a “smoothly produced thing” and went on to deride the “four black guys” and the “women” who spoke at the convention as tokens that provided a “permission” slip for people who may have been uncomfortable supporting Trump again.

Maher said the RNC strategy was “effective” and noted Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron’s speech as resonating with African Americans.

“He was pushing back on Joe Biden for saying, you know, if you vote for Trump, you ain’t Black and I don’t think that is a good thing for Joe Biden to have said,” Maher said. “He [Cameron] said ‘I have my own mind.’”

“People do have their own minds. I’ve never been a fan of conformity. I’ve never been a fan of, ‘We all wear pink on Wednesday,’ we all have to do this, we all have to say this. … I don’t bend the knee and I get that people are pushing back at that kind of stuff,” Maher added.

Neither Maher nor Moore would say it, but the ongoing riots being staged by Democrat support groups Antifa and BLM in Democrat-controlled cities all over the country are one of the main reasons why the polling and political equation are shifting beneath Biden’s feet.

CNN’s despicable Don Lemon – with whom the Democrats also share their talking points and polling data – hasn’t been bashful about talking about this inconvenient truth, though. He talked about it on his show for the second straight night on Friday, this time urging Biden to “give a speech” condemning the Democrat-sponsored violence, as if that would make it all better:

“Presentation matters,” he said. “To come out and stand at a podium in D.C., or wherever, even in Wisconsin, and say — listen, this is what I expected today if they were going to really come out and do the thing right, whether it was going to be Kamala Harris or Joe Biden: ‘Good afternoon, everyone. The rioting has to stop. The violence has to stop. And under a Biden-Harris administration, there will be no lawlessness on the street.’ ”

This is sheer panic, folks. These parrots for the Democrat Party know a looming train wreck when they see one. After all, they lived through it just four short years ago, and they hear that Trump train a-comin’ round the bend again.

Isn’t it all just absolutely glorious?

The Media and Pollsters are Getting Cold Feet on this Whole “Blue Wave” Thing

This is really not a good look for any Pope.  – This happened yesterday.  I have no idea what to say about it, other than that just happened:

Why do we have to read about this in a British news outlet? – Just when you thought the Department of Justice was completely asleep at the wheel, it goes and arrests a leaker.  The UK Daily Mail reports that one Natalie Mayflower Sours Edwards (I swear I did not make up that name) was arrested on the streets of Washington, DC on Tuesday and charged by DOJ investigators on Wednesday with crimes related to illegally leaking the private banking records of various Trump Transition Team members to the fake media outlet Buzzfeed.

When she was arrested, Ms. Mayflower Sours Edwards, an employee of the U.S. Treasury Department, was actually carrying a thumb drive that contained the records in question.  So, obviously not the brightest bulb in the Treasury Department’s light fixture.

Interestingly, Ms. Edwards (sorry, I’m not typing all that other crap anymore) leaked information related to Paul Manafort and Rick Gates, along with suspected Russian spy Maria Butina, all of whom have been subjects of Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel “investigation.”  Others whose records she leaked are not specifically identified in the complaint filed by the DOJ.

Why am I mentioning this?  Well, one of those “others” is likely to eventually be revealed to be former Trump lawyer Micheal Cohen, who became a target of the Mueller “investigation” when his own banking records were mysteriously released to several media outlets, including to Ronan Farrow at The New Yorker in May.  The U.S. news media is under-playing this story for now, but this lady with the odd name is likely to be revealed to be a pretty important player in how all of this “Russia Collusion” fantasy play morphed into a bank-and-tax fraud investigation over the course of the last year.

Oh, and one other thing:  The complaint also states that Ms. Edwards boss was leaking to reporters.  So, the arrests over at the Treasury Department might just keep on coming.  What in the hell is going on over there?

Just a reminder that this is exactly the behavior that has recently been endorsed and encouraged by leading Democrats like Maxine Waters, Hillary Clinton and Eric Holder.  Keep that in mind on Election Day.

And speaking of the elections… – Some interesting pieces of information from the past couple of days show the media and pollsters who have been pushing their treasured “Blue Wave” theory for the last year now starting to back off as Election Day approaches and the actual data fails to give them comfort:

  • NBC News getting cold feet.:  “Uncertainty Over A Blue Wave:  NBC News Finds Democratic and GOP Voter Registrations at Same Levels as Past Election Cycles.”  You don’t say…
  • Speaking of cold feet, there’s Nate Silver.:  “Nate Silver’s warning about midterm predictions that journalists won’t want to hear”.  Man, it’s 2016 all over again.
  • The Times keeps getting results it doesn’t want. – New York Times live poll shows Texas Congressman Will Hurd with an 8-point lead in what was supposed to be a tossup district.
  • From our That’s Not a Valid Sample file… – CNN released a poll on the Texas Senate race on Tuesday that shows Ted Cruz leading Irish Bob O’Rourke by a 52-45 margin.  Ok, so, why am I mentioning this poll?  Because its sample included just 25% Republicans, 25% Democrats and 50% “other”.  This in a state in which the GOP had a 50% turnout edge over the Ds in the primary elections, and in which Republicans have won every statewide election since 1994.
  • Why even bother? – In Indiana’s senate race, Gravis released a poll this week purporting to show incumbent Democrat Joe Donnelly with a 4 point lead over GOP challenger Mike Braun.  But the poll only surveyed 377 “likely voters”, and has a margin of error of 5.1 percent.  Which means that, in reality, we know nothing more about the true state of the Indiana senate race today than we did before that waste of time poll was released.
  • This is what you do in the final weeks of a campaign when you have tons of money and you know you are losing. – “Beto Goes Negative on Cruz in New Ads”. 

So what does this all mean?  It means you need to stop worrying about polls and stop asking me about polls.  Because, as I keep pointing out to you, most of these polls are meaningless.  Most of them are not even commissioned to actually gauge the status of a race, but to influence the direction of a race.  In fact, that is pretty much the only kind of poll we have seen throughout the duration of the Cruz/O’Rourke race, with only a few exceptions.

The best ways to gauge the status of the races are to get a grip on the overall national mood, which this year favors a pretty much status quo election, and to also look at how the candidates themselves are behaving – O’Rourke being just one of many examples available to us.  It is also obvious that the Democrat senate candidates in North Dakota, Arizona, Florida, Missouri, Tennessee and Nevada are sucking wind right now, and the Democrats in West Virginia, Indiana and even New Jersey are getting very nervous.

One more time:  When all is said and done, expect the Republicans to lose 10-15 seats in the House, but not the 23 necessary for the Democrats to assume a majority there.  In the Senate, expect the Rs to gain a net 4-5 seats.  That’s been my prediction since January, and I still see no reason to adjust it.

Michael Moore Floats the Dumbest Trump Conspiracy Theory Yet

OMG, Mike, that’s, like, ruuuuullllly, totally dumb and stuff. – Fake documentary film-maker Michael Moore is pushing the most absurd theory yet about the identity of the “anonymous” author who wrote the Trump-bashing op/ed the New York Times ran last week.  Moore contended on Saturday that the real author is…wait for it…oh, you gotta wait for this one…DONALD TRUMP!  I swear I don’t make this stuff up.

Yes, friends, this big fat tub of goo told an audience of creeps at some film festival that he doesn’t really “know” per se who the writer is, but “if you want me to make a wild guess, Trump wrote it or one of his minions wrote it…. He’s the master of distraction. He’s the King of the Misdirect. If we’ve ever known anything by now, it’s that he does things to get people to turn away and the line that is most identifiable in terms of what he wants the public to believe, the line that says, ‘don’t worry, adults are in the room.’ The idea is to get him to get us to calm down and look away from what he’s really doing.”

Of course, the reality is that President Trump pretty much begs Americans every day specifically to judge him on “what he’s really doing,” because what he’s really doing is pretty damn spectacular.  What he’s really doing is creating the first period of relative peace and massive prosperity that our country has enjoyed in the 21st centurty.

Here, for everyone’s edification, are just a few of the details:

  • In just 21 months in office, Donald Trump and his administration have pretty much erased the heinously un-American legacy of America’s Biggest Mistake, Barack Hussein Obama.  That’s why you see Mr. Obama out on the campaign trail right now, desperately trying to take credit for the massive economic boom that has resulted from Trump’s policies.
  • Where Obama and his evil minions worked overtime for 8 years to brainwash Americans into believing that as much as 3% economic growth was basically impossible, and that economic stagnation was the “new normal” (how many hundreds of times did we hear them say this?), Trump now has the economy humming along at over 4% growth.
  • America’s manufacturing sector, which lay dormant throughout the Obama presidency, has seen the creation of hundreds of thousands of new jobs thanks to Trump’s agenda.  The petrochemicals and plastics industry now has more than $200 billion in new capital investment in U.S. plant and equipment on its books alone.  Obama repeatedly told us that these were the “old” jobs that were “never coming back” to our country, yet here they are, knocking on our door, looking for qualified people to fill them..
  • In both June and August of this year, the United States of America surpassed Russia and Saudi Arabia to become the largest oil-producing nation on the face of the earth.
  • In New Mexico two weeks ago, the federal Bureau of Land Management conducted an oil and gas lease sale that netted almost $1 billion in lease bonuses alone, by far the biggest onshore lease sale in U.S. history.  These things happen because of policy, not by accident.
  • The U.S. rate of unemployment has hovered at near-record low levels for a year now.  The biggest problem the U.S. economy has under Donald J. Trump is that employers find it increasingly difficult to find enough people to fill their growing number of job openings.  Millions of workers who had been so discouraged during the Obama years that they simply quit looking for work are now pouring back into the work force in Donald Trump’s economy.
  • Unemployment rates for Hispanics, African Americans and women are at all-time lows and getting lower.  The jobs situation is so fantastic, in fact, that even Colin Kaepernick has been able to find gainful employment.  Obama did not do that.
  • Around the globe, America’s foreign policy has created a period of relative peace thanks in very large part to the Trump Administration’s consistent and firm projection of U.S. power.  The Crazy Little Fat Guy in North Korea is no longer lobbing ICBMs over Japan out into the Pacific Ocean.  The despotic Mullahs in Iran now find themselves increasingly isolated, unable to export their crude oil, and facing growing unrest from the general population.  The terrorist Palestinian leadership also finds itself increasingly isolated and having its Obama-era funding cut off by this Administration.
  • The previously deadbeat European NATO members are suddenly paying their bills, resulting in a massive infusion of new money into that organization and rendering Vladimir Putin less interested in projecting Russian military power outside its own borders.

 

Obama, in one of his delusional rants this past week, actually said this:

 “We spent eight years pushing that (economic) boulder up the hill, we finally get to the top, it starts rolling down the hill and then these folks come in and say look at what we’re doing. They’re standing there, didn’t even break a sweat.”

Of course, what actually happened for 8 long years was that Obama had his regulators formed up in a defensive line about halfway up that hill, ensuring that the U.S. economy – the most incredible job- and prosperity-generating machine ever devised by mankind – was never able to break out into a true economic recovery during his reign.

What Trump has basically done is come in and decimate that regulatory defensive line.  So yeah, the Trump people actually have barely broken a sweat, because all they really had to do was rid our nation of Obama’s heinous legacy.

So the thought that President Trump would actually want to write the piece that appeared in the New York Times, a piece that asks people to focus not on his policy accomplishments but on his personality, is utterly absurd.  Because anyone who focuses on his policy accomplishments must conclude that he has so far been far and away the single most successful U.S. President in modern times, and perhaps ever.

Just another day in Michael Moore is a hopeless buffoon America.

Last Night’s Trump Derangement Twitter Meltdown was Glorious to Behold

President Trump nominates Supreme Court justice, left goes crazy, fake news media piles on.  Wash, rinse, repeat.  – So, Brett Kavanaugh will become the latest nominee for the Supreme Court by a GOP president to have his reputation trashed by the Democrat/fake news media propaganda complex.  Let’s all hope he can withstand it.

So predictable and staged was the leftists’ fake reaction to the nomination that one can only wonder how anyone remains dim enough to fall for this nonsense anymore.  A small army of Soros-funded professional protesters began gathering in front of the Supreme Court building hours before the announcement, armed with four versions of cardboard signs that alternatively had the names “Kavanaugh”, “Hardiman”, “Kethledge” and “Barrett” printed on them, so that the right version could be distributed as soon as the President made his announcement.

These protests and media reaction were in fact so fake, so un-spontaneous that ABC issued a promo hours before they knew who the nominee would be which already branded the as-yest unidentified person as being “controversial.” Hey, what if the President had done what Chuck Schumer suggested and nominated Merrick Garland, ABC?  Would that have been “controversial” in your collective hive mind?

Of course, the truth is that President Trump could have nominated Alyssa Milano or Bette Midler to fill this seat and the leftist nutbags would have still gone berserk.  Because Trump.

Meanwhile, The far-left “Women’s March” organization is run by such a bunch of lame-brains that they issued their own release via Twitter half an hour (check the time stamp) AFTER Kavanaugh had been named with the following text:

Uh, folks, filling in the actual name is kind of an important part of issuing a press statement.

The best prank President Trump could have pulled last night would have been to name someone not on the much-publicized short list – that would have really set the leftist creeps off, because nothing makes a “spontaneous” Soros-funded leftist protest group angrier than actual spontaneity.

But Mr. Trump stuck with his list and pulled Kavanaugh’s name out of his hat, and now the game is on.  The nominee has a lovely wife and family – we can hope the leftist creeps, fake journalists and slimy Democrat politicians will leave them out of it, but don’t count on it.  For those on the radical left – which today includes pretty much everyone in or associated with the Democrat Party and national news media – this is war.  Don’t kid yourselves otherwise.

I love how she includes her now-dead personal piggy bank, the CFPB, in this, as if any real person should actually give a damn about that.  And isn’t it also cute how she felt the need to include “I’ll be voting no.” I mean, really, was there a single sentient being in the entire universe who didn’t already know that?

Pretty sure that gal on the right just spotted the Democrat Party’s retirement-home congressional leadership shuffling over towards the protest and is thinking she’s somehow wandered into a remake of “Night of the Living Dead.”  Again, that’s probably mean, but I just don’t care.

Enjoy the next couple of months, folks.  The Democrats and their guardians in the fake news media are going to throw their entire playbook at Brett Kavanaugh, and he is still going to be confirmed at the end of the day.  Because that’s how we know that, despite their best efforts to kill it, America still works – elections still matter in this wonderful land.
