Eric Trump Says Biden Could Stick Around Longer Than we Think

Could he be right? It’s plausible. – Will China Joe Biden’s evil, elder-abusing handlers just keep on pushing their addled patient out in front of the cameras for as long as they possibly can, rather than turn the presidency over to Kamala Harris on the timetable they all agreed to when she was selected as the party’s vice presidential nominee?

That’s the theory that Eric Trump posed to Maria Bartiromo in an appearance on Fox News Sunday morning. Here’s the money quote, courtesy of the Conservative Treehouse:

“[A White House] memo goes out saying all communications must read “Biden/Harris admin” ….. [Biden publicly claims Kamala Harris in charge of the Border Crisis, but] now Kammy isn’t the border gal … but she’s doing the diplomat stuff with south of the border governments. She gets cred for that while fully insulated from the crisis that Biden won’t have to answer for in any way except preapproved questions….have to give the WH team credit for creating a perfectly bubbled environment around jumbled Joe.

“It’s so perfect, why change it? With Joe at the helm, the White House can claim credit and deny responsibility with zero media pushback…couldn’t do that with Harris in charge. She is universally unlikeable, and so blatantly phony that her campaign couldn’t raise money….. Harris couldn’t get away with bumbling through a press conference or hiding from the world the way Joe does. I now think the WH team wants to keep pushing Joe out there for as long as possible.”

[End]

Eric Trump is obviously very frustrated by the the lapdog, corrupt media’s refusal to honestly report about the reality of China Joe and his performance as the nation’s Sock Puppet-in-Chief, as we all are, and that frustration likely has some bearing on this scenario. But you have to admit that it does make some sense.

After all, the White House and its media toadies do have their Kabuki Theater routine set in stone at this point, so why mess with it now just because the fake president is so brain-addled that he can’t function for more than 2-3 hours each day? It isn’t like he’s actually in charge of anything anyway, and as long as he can still read from his ever-present TelePrompter or repeat what his evil minions are transmitting into his ear piece semi-competently, why not just leave him in the role, especially when you know full well that Harris is, as Eric Trump says, universally unlikeable and has absolutely no self-discipline whatsoever?

To this point I’ve been operating under the assumption that China Joe would most likely be put out to pasture by no later than the first day of summer simply because his evil handlers would lack the audacity to continue the charade any longer than that. But after hearing Eric Trump’s comments here, it does seem at least possible that we might have Joe Potato Head to kick around somewhat longer than that.

After all, China Joe’s handlers see the same Kamala Harris who we all see, and that looming catastrophe ain’t pretty at all.

That is all.

Wednesday News Roundup: Michelle Obama Joins Up With Harry and Megs and Trump Wants You to Take The Vaccine

If you think Meghan and Harry and Oprah aren’t coordinating messaging with the Obamas, well... – You might want to think again, and you might want to include the Bushes, too. In an interview conducted by the laughably amateurish Jenna Bush on the Today show, Michelle Obama joined in the hurling of racism charges at the English Royal Family, saying she was not surprised by Meghan’s unsupported allegations.

Thus does a former first lady of the United States of America once again wander into the muck of pop culture, in the process defaming the monarchy of America’s closest ally.

From the story at The Hill:

Former first lady Michelle Obama says she’s not shocked to hear Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, speak out about claims of racism within Britain’s royal family, saying that race “isn’t a new construct in this world for people of color.”

“It wasn’t a complete surprise to hear her feelings and have them articulated,” Obama told Jenna Bush Hager in a Tuesday interview on NBC’s “Today” show when asked about Meghan’s allegations.

[End]

Interestingly, Michell’s not-so-subtle insult targeting Queen Elizabeth stands in direct contrast to a little anecdote she tells in her 2018 autobiography about the Queen behaving in a decidedly un-racist manner when they met:

In her 2018 memoir, “Becoming,” Obama shared how she felt nervous “coming face-to-face with an honest-to-goodness icon,” but quickly found the queen to be “warm and personable” as the two bonded over uncomfortable footwear.

“I confessed then to the Queen that my feet were hurting. She confessed that hers hurt, too. We looked at each other then with identical expressions, like, ‘When is all this standing around with world leaders going to finally wrap up?’ And with this, she busted out with a fully charming laugh,” Obama recalled in her book.

[End]

Yes, truly, only a white supremacist racist Queen would chuckle along with a Black American first lady when she says her feet hurt.

Holy crap.

Look, for those of you sitting there thinking, hey, Michelle was asked the question, she just answered it, just stop it. First of all, Michelle Obama doesn’t just willy nilly walk onto a set or pick up a ringing phone and talk to reporters unprepared. She and Jenna Bush unquestionably communicated prior to that interview, so that Michelle could carefully prepare answers to the questions she knew would be asked. It is entirely likely, in fact, that Michelle herself actually suggested that line of questioning so that she could roll out that specific answer. In fact, it is entirely likely that that specific Q and A was the motivating reason for the interview to be held.

That is how these interviews work for Democrats.

Second, even if the question about Megs and Harry had come as a spur-of-the-moment surprise, the only proper answer for any former first lady with a shred of decorum and sense of her status in society and the weight her words carry would be to say she has no comment on a private matter involving the British Royal Family. This was a pre-planned, intentional exercise designed to keep feeding the engine of anger over “racism” in our society, whether real or made up out of whole cloth, as is likely the case with Harry and Meghan. This is what the Obamas have always done and will continue to do.

Yes, it’s despicable. Yes, it’s digraceful. Yes, it’s depraved, demented and disgusting. But hey, these are Democrats we’re talking about here.

Speaking of pre-prepared questions and answers… – Oh, boy, Jen Psaki said yesterday that our national Sock Puppet-in-Chief is gonna do an actual press conference on March 25, the first of his presidency:

From the story at Politico:

President Joe Biden will hold his first formal news conference on March 25, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Tuesday.

While the president has periodically taken questions from reporters, Biden has been under increased fire from conservative news outlets — as well as some political allies — for waiting longer than some predecessors to hold a media availability after taking office.

Should the March 25 date hold, Biden will have gone more than two full months without holding a news conference to start his tenure. Recent past presidents have typically done so within their first month as a good-faith gesture toward the free press.

[End]

Note the outright lie Politico pushes to provide cover for China Joe even in such a simple story: That he has “periodically taken questions from reporters.” This is simply false. Biden has occasionally listened to a question as he is exiting the scene, but he has never, not one time, provided substantive answers to any real media questions across his first 8 weeks in office. Now Psaki claim he will actually hold a “press conference,” but no one should expect it to resemble the wide-ranging, off-the-cuff affairs conducted almost daily by President Donald Trump.

Like Michelle’s interview with Jenna, this will all be carefully staged well in advance.

Greg Kelly captures the likely pre-coordination between Psaki and her lapdog pals perfectly in this tweet:

Exactly. This will be a pretend presser with only pre-approved questions posed by pre-selected reporters. This human sock puppet is not capable of doing otherwise.

And guess who knows the truth of that? – A majority of Americans, that’s who. Yes, friends and neighbors, a new poll finds that a majority of voters now believe China Joe Potato Head Biden is unfit to hold the office of the presidency:

From the story at JustTheNews.com:

Less than half of all U.S. voters think President Biden is fit to hold the office of the presidency, according to a new Just the News Daily Poll with Scott Rasmussen.

Asked about a series of recent gaffes Biden has undergone during the course of his duties, those survey were invited to offer their opinion as to Biden’s fitness for the office of the presidency.

Forty-seven percent said the president is “fine and fit for office and the gaffes don’t concern me,” while 40% said they were “concerned President Biden is suffering from some sort of condition that contributes to the gaffes.”

[End]

Honestly, I just cannot even fathom what sort of drugs the 40% of Americans who actually think this guy is capable of doing the most demanding job on the planet are taking. It’s truly mind-boggling.

Meanwhile, America’s Last Real President wants you to go get your shots. – The media, which toadies for the Democrats 100% of the time, will of course characterize this as President Donald Trump responding to Little Menace to Society Anthony Fauci’s statement Sunday urging him to advise his followers to go get one of the various COVID vaccines. The allegation that Republicans have been slower to be vaccinated than Democrats has served as a convenient talking point for Fauci in his never-ending hyper-partisan TV rhetoric.

In an interview with Maria Bartiromo on Fox News last night, Trump did indeed urge his voters to be vaccinated:

“I would recommend it and I would recommend it to a lot of people that don’t want to get it,” the President said. “And a lot of those people voted for me, frankly. But you know, again, we have our freedoms and we have to live by that. And I agree with that also. But it’s a great vaccine. It’s a safe vaccine and it’s something that works.”

Now, was that a response to the Little Menace to Society, or was it a President whose Operation Warp Speed is directly responsible for these vaccines becoming publicly available in a record short time that even Fauci himself was saying was essentially impossible last summer?

Personally, I’ll go with the latter. Trump is a notably prideful man with a huge ego, and he is rightly proud of what his administration – not China Joe’s – was able to achieve with these vaccines.

So, if you’ve been waiting to see what America’s last real President had to say on the matter, now you have it. Go get your damn shots.

That is all.

Sen. Ron Johnson: Much, Much More to Come From The Hunter Biden Laptop

Man, no wonder Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg are so anxious to censor the reporting about the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop. As if the emails revealing Hunter and then-vice-president Joe Biden’s influence peddling racket vis a vis Ukraine and China (and more countries yet to be revealed) weren’t enough, we found out on Saturday that the contents of the laptop are being reviewed by an FBI lawyer who specializes in prosecuting purveyors of child pornography.

On Saturday, this photo of a federal grand jury subpoena issued last December began making the rounds on social media:

Though it was covered up by the top page, the signature of FBI lawyer Joshua Wilson can be seen bleeding through the thin paper. Business Insider was able to confirm that the signature matched that of New Jersey-based FBI agent Joshua Wilson that was contained on a similar subpoena issued in a different case in 2012:

In 2012, Wilson was described by The Star-Ledger, a New Jersey-based newspaper, as “an FBI agent based in New Jersey who has spent nearly five years working full time on child pornography.” (More recent news articles suggest Wilson has also worked child abduction cases.)

A child pornography criminal complaint from 2012 includes Wilson’s signature — seemingly an exact match to what was found on the December subpoena.

[End]

Oh.

So, why is the FBI investigating the laptop for possible child porn images? It’s a good question, and those who have actually seen the laptop’s contents, like Rudy Giuliani, have alleged that that kind of filth might well be present there.

In an interesting development, Senator Ron Johnson, Chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, appeared today on Fox’s “Sunday Morning Futures” program with host Maria Bartiromo. During an exchange with Bartiromo regarding this piece of the investigation, Sen. Johnson didn’t exactly confirm that that was taking place, but he also didn’t even come close to denying it.

Here’s a transcript of that exchange:

Bartiromo: Connect the dots, if an FBI agent is working on child pornography issues for five years why is he subpoenaing the laptop of Hunter Biden? Is there a connection here? Should this suggest that there is a child pornography issue here on that laptop?

Johnson: Well, I think you just made a connection. This is what the FBI has to come clean about. This isn’t a standard investigation where the FBI doesn’t indict somebody and everything remains confidential. This is something that we were talking about that relates to national security. If there is criminal activity involved that is tied to Hunter Biden or his business associates or even possible ties to other members of the Biden family that some of these emails indicate that Joe Biden is fully aware of this, that he was taking his 10% cut or requiring 50% from his family members’ salaries, this needs to be known before Americans go to the polls.

Bartiromo: So was the FBI agent serving the subpoena investigating child pornography, senator?

Senator Ron Johnson: Well, you just read the news report. I can’t comment any further. I don’t want to speculate other than to say that what I said publicly before. Our report uncovered several troubling connections, so many things that need to be investigated that I really think we’re just scratching the surface. Yes, I’ve heard all kinds of things that I think will probably be revealed over the next few days. There’s a treasure trove of emails and video and pictures. Not only in the purported computer of Hunter Biden but now we got the co-conspirator Bevan Cooney that’s also starting to reveal information. I guess we’ll find new information over the next couple of weeks.

[End]

Notably, the Senator also confirms that, as Breitbart reported on Friday, the investigation is benefitting from the cooperation of Hunter Biden co-conspirator Bevan Cooney, an ex-“business partner” of the Bidens who has now flipped and is cooperating.

From that Brietbart report:

Newly obtained emails from a Hunter Biden business partner lay out in detail how the Vice President’s son and his colleagues used their access to the Obama-Biden administration to arrange private meetings for potential foreign clients and investors at the highest levels in the White House. These never-before-revealed emails outline how a delegation of Chinese investors and Communist Party officials managed to secure a private, off-the-books meeting with then-Vice President Joe Biden.

In a 2011 email, Hunter Biden’s business associates also discussed developing relations with what one called “China Inc.” as part of a “new push on soft diplomacy for the Chinese.” These emails are completely unconnected to the Hunter Biden emails being released by the New York Post.

These and more explosive never-before-revealed emails were provided to Schweizer by Bevan Cooney, a one-time Hunter Biden and Devon Archer business associate. Cooney is currently in prison serving a sentence for his involvement in a 2016 bond fraud investment scheme.

In 2019, Cooney reached out to Schweizer after becoming familiar with the revelations in his 2018 book Secret Empires. Cooney explained that he believes he was the “fall guy” for the fraud scheme and that Archer and Hunter Biden had avoided responsibility.

[End]

If any of you have been harboring the notion that the Bidens have seen the worst of this scandal, think again. There is so much more yet to come.

Isn’t that glorious?

The Pace of Obamagate Unraveling is Quickening

Is Peter Strzok Cooperating with John Durham? – Former Fox News reporter Adam Housley thinks so. Since leaving Fox, Housley has continued to stay in touch with his sources at the DOJ and within the Intelligence Community, and periodically reports interesting information on his Twitter feed.

He recently issued two tweets indicating he has been told that FBI Super-Duper Agent and aspiring latin lover Peter Strzok is now cooperating with Durham and his investigators:

To reinforce the point I made yesterday about Durham’s job in unraveling the treasonous activity that took place in the Obama FBI/DOJ/CIA being incredibly complex, I’d also point you to this recent tweet from Housley:

And this one…

Meanwhile, on Fox’s “Sunday Morning Futures” program hosted by Maria Bartiromo, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham told Bartiromo that the FBI “lied their asses off” about the reliability of the Steele Dossier, and that he will be releasing more proof about that before the end of this week: “Here is what I think I’m going to be able to show to the public. Not only did the FBI lie to the court about the reliability about the Steele dossier, they also lied to the Congress. That’s a separate crime.”

Obviously, everything Graham says has to be taken with a grain of salt. But it is worth pointing out that, on the same program Sunday before last, Graham told Bartiromo that his committee had uncovered proof that Steele’s sub-source was a complete fraud. Of course, Director of National Intelligence John Raticliffe – who is proving to be every bit the bulldog in that job that his predecessor, Ric Grenell was – released some previously-classified documents last week demonstrating Graham’s point, and is apparently planning to release more documents this week.

This is all unraveling now, folks, and the pace is quickening. As I’ve chronicled here over the last year, all of the information conclusively proving the treasonous actions of the coup cabal within the FBI/DOJ led by James Comey, Andrew McCabe and Strzok is now out on the public record. Everyone who has been paying attention and has the ability to reason logically now understands the monumental nature of the crimes committed against our very system of government by these despicable coup plotters, and that the organizing momentum behind it went all the way up to the Oval Office itself.

Today’s testimony by Attorney General William Barr before the disgraceful House Judiciary Committee may well be designed to serve as the kicking-off point for more concrete action coming from the Durham investigation. I know many readers remain skeptical of my faith in Barr and Durham, but I would urge you to pay attention to what Barr is going to tell Nadler and company this morning in his opening statement.

In that statement, Barr points to the fact that he had no prior relationship with President Trump when he agreed to take the AG job. In fact, he was 70 years old and sliding towards a well-earned and deserved retirement after a lifetime of legal practice and service to the country. Instead, he agreed to take on the most pressure-packed assignment in the nation outside of the presidency itself.

Many skeptical readers continue to believe that Barr willingly took on that assignment and all of the character assassination and threats he knew would be coming his way from desperate Democrats and their corrupt toadies in the news media so that he could get into the job and do….nothing.

I don’t believe that’s why he took that job, and I believe events of the next month or so will prove that assessment to be correct.

We’ll see.

That is all.

The Evening Wrap: Meadows Touts Indictments, Trump Boat Parade and Yes, Biden is Senile

In an interesting segment on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” host Maria Bartiromo took time out from slavishly hawking the results of Fox’s latest faked-up poll – which, in fairness to Bartiromo, every Fox host is required to do at least twice per hour on-air – to interview White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows. During the course of a wide-ranging discussion, Bartiromo asks Meadows about his expectations related to the Durham investigation.

Meadows did not pull any punches in his response. Below is a clip of the interview, followed by quotes from Meadows:

Meadows comments:

I think the American people are expecting indictments. I know I expect indictments based on the evidence I’ve seen. Lindsey Graham did a good job in getting that out. We know that they not only knew that there wasn’t a case, but they continued to investigate and spy.

And yes, I use the word spy on Trump campaign officials and actually even doing things when this president was sworn in. And after that and doing in an inappropriate manner. You’re going to see a couple of other documents come out in the coming days that will suggest that not only was the campaign spied on, but the FBI did not act appropriately as they were investigating. It’s all starting to come unraveled. And I tell you, it’s time that people go to jail and people are indicted.

It is stunning, and here is the interesting thing: It’s not only that it wasn’t true. The problem is, they knew it wasn’t true. And when you know something is not true, and you continue the investigation, that’s collusion. That’s the kind of thing we must stop, and that’s where we need to hold people accountable.

[End]

So, here’s the White House Chief of Staff, telling America that he is expecting indictments, and soon. Note his statement, “based on the evidence I’ve seen.” Remember that, during 2016 through the end of 2018, Meadows sat on the House Oversight Committee and in that post was able to see all of the evidence around the whole “Russia collusion” fantasy play.

We should also keep in mind that, from his current position, Meadows has full knowledge of everything that is happening in the Durham investigation.

Who knows? Maybe it’s nothing, just like all of the encouraging signals of the past that turned out to be nothing. But, unlike Lindsey Graham and all of the the other regulars on the Sean Hannity Tick Tock crew, at least Meadows is a credible source.

All we can do is hope.

Meanwhile, in the Hudson River adjacent to the Marxist land of Manhattan…

Finally, check out this Q and A from President Trump’s interview with despicable Chris Wallace that aired on Fox News Sunday:

Democrats defrauding Democrats. – Democrat/Marxist Carolyn Maloney, one of the most corrupt and worthless members of congress, remains in a fight to win her primary race in an election involving massive voter fraud. Fully 20% of the mail-in ballots have been tossed out by election officials due to various irregularities, and Maloney is clinging to a narrow lead with more than 50,000 absentee ballots remaining to be counted.

From a story in the Queens Daily Eagle:

A tight race between veteran Congressmember Carolyn Maloney and challenger Suraj Patel has emerged as New York City’s most closely watched Congressional primary — but about 20 percent of voters may end up having no say in the final outcome.

One-in-five mail-in ballots have been tossed out in New York’s 12th Congressional District, which includes Western Queens, Northwest Brooklyn and the East Side of Manhattan, according to Board of Elections documents reported by The Intercept.

The absentee ballots are crucial in the contest, where Maloney, who has served in Congress since 1993, led Patel by 648 votes after the machine tally following the June 23 Democratic primary. Roughly 65,000 NY-12 voters cast their ballots by mail, The New York Times reported.

Maloney received 41.7 percent of the in-person votes compared to Patel’s 40.1 percent. Two other candidates, Lauren Ashcraft and Pete Harrison, received about 18 percent of the overall vote total. In Queens, Patel received 540 more votes than Maloney.

[End]

See? Voter fraud works against Democrats, too. But it’s still other Democrats who are committing the fraud.

Hilarious.

That is all.

Lindsey Graham Kicks the Can Down the Road One More Time

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

He’s not even talking a good game anymore. – Listen carefully to the second clip below of Senator Lindsey Graham, Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, as he essentially tells us that he is just going to keep talking, while at the same time doing nothing of any substance:

Here’s a transcript of that second clip, as Maria Bartiromo begins by asking him exactly what he plans to do in the next two weeks.:

Graham: You’re gonna have people interviewed by my staff and others, to find, to get the foundation. Before I call McCabe and Comey, I wanna find out exactly what happened. I wanna find out who told what to who, and then we’ll call ’em. I just can’t believe that…the investigation fell apart…In January 2017, they got two more warrants after they knew it was a bunch of garbage. How could that possibly happen?

Bartiromo: Yeah, and I just want to point out our timeline, which is this counterintel that happened way before July 31st of 2016, which is when the FBI said their investigation into Trump began. We go all the way back to December of 2015 on this timeline, when Michael Flynn was invited to Russia to sit next to Putin. Then you’ve got Papadopoulous meeting with Joseph Mifsud in April of 2016. Papadopoulous also invited to Rome where he was introduced to Mifsud as early as March of 2016. This is something John Durham is looking at. All of this activity before the beginning of this investigation. Why send these informants into Trump campaign people? Do you believe this is what John Durham is looking at as well?

Graham: Yeah, I think he’s looking at how it started. [Oh. You don’t say.] You gotta remember, the Mueller investigation was started after Comey was fired, because Rosenstein wanted Mueller to look at possible criminal activity by the Trump campaign.

Here’s my question to Rosenstein: If you knew then what you know now, that it was a bunch of garbage, would you have appointed Mueller? There was no crime; the Dossier was the basis of the warrant; in January, 2017 it was a bunch of garbage; the guy who provided the information to Steele rejected the Dossier’s being reliable. How could they continue? Why did it take two years for Mueller to figure this out? He should’ve figured it out in a week.

[End]

Ok, so, The essence of what you see and read here is that, as Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Lindsey Graham has made zero progress in a year. A full year ago, he was doing TV interviews saying and asking the exact same things he says and asks in this interview.

The only thing that is evolving and progressing related to any of this is his talking points and rationale for kicking the can down the road:

  • In February of last year, he had to wait to hold any hearings until newly-appointed AG William Barr had had time to get confirmed and acclimated into office;
  • In May of last year, he had to wait until Robert Mueller had testified before the House Judiciary Committee;
  • In September of last year, he had to wait until the House had run through its idiotic impeachment scam, for reasons that made no sense at all;
  • In November of last year, he had to wait until John Durham had completed his own investigation;
  • In January, he had to wait until the Senate Trial had been fully adjudicated.

So, here we are, a full year later, and all of these things have run their course, leaving Lindsey out of semi-valid excuses for further delay. Thus, now he turns to process: Before he can hold any hearings, he’s basically telling Bartiromo in this interview that he must wait until his staff has interviewed all the potential witnesses and conducted their own freaking investigation. And not just his staff, but these nebulous “others” who are not identified.

This single statement right here is a ticket for infinite delay: “I wanna find out who told what to who, and then we’ll call ’em.”

Of course, the truth is that we already know “who told what to who.” We know it ad nauseum, in fact, from the thousands of hours of testimony and millions of documents on the public record today that have been compiled by all the previous investigations that have been conducted into all of this. Graham has no real reason to have his staff spend weeks and months re-interviewing McCabe, Comey and all the other bad actors from the Obama era: All he and his staff need to do is review the massive record that has already been accumulated through more than three solid years of investigations, issue subpoenas for testimony, and start asking some damn questions in public hearings.

Maria Bartiromo seems to be a well-intentioned individual. At some point, one would hope that she would take the time to go back and conduct a review of all of her interviews with Graham since he became Chairman of Senate Judiciary, so she can see how the Senator has been stringing her and her audience along on this thing. And then, perhaps, get him back on the show and demand that he stop with the nonsense and provide some real answers.

Bottom line: If you are thinking you’re ever going to get anything real out of Lindsey Graham and the Senate Judiciary Committee in regard to trying to hold all the Obama-era bad actors accountable for their seditious actions, you are destined to be extremely disappointed. He has no intention of doing a damn thing.

On the positive side, Graham and his committee continues to confirm a butt-load of Trump judicial appointees. So, take that for what it’s worth and be happy about it, because that is all you are ever going to get from Graham’s chairmanship of this committee.

That is all.

Time to Act: Trump Sends Clear Message to Graham

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Paging Lindsey Graham. Paging Lindsey Graham… – South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham talks a good game about getting tough with all the seditious impeachment cabal participants. As Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Graham has been prancing all over the Fox News talk shows for more than a year now, promising to hold hearings in which he calls Deep State actors from James Comey to John Brennan to Peter Strzok and all points in between to testify.

More recently, Graham has shown up on the Sean Hannity Tick-Tock Hour and elsewhere proclaiming his intent to call all the bad actors in the Democrats’ ongoing impeachment scam to come and talk to his committee under oath and threat of imprisonment. From the fake whistleblower, Eric Ciaramella, to his partner Alexander Vindman, to Joe and Hunter Biden and even Adam Schiff and his staff, Senator Graham now promises to call them all and force them to answer for their mendacity and many acts of disloyalty to the country over the last six months.

Yet, despite of all his posturing and tough talk and more than a year in his chairmanship, Senator Graham has yet to convene a single hearing of his committee to take a look at anything having to do with the whole “Russia Collusion” hoax or the Ukraine hoax. Readers of Today’s Campaign Update long ago grew weary of Graham’s all-talk-and-no-action posturing, and it appears that President Donald Trump has also now arrived at the same point.

Early Monday morning, the President issued a re-tweet of a video of an appearance by his former White House Strategy Advisor, Steve Bannon, on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures” program with host Maria Bartiromo, addressing the re-tweet to @LindseyGraham:

For those who still like to read stuff, here is a transcript of the exchange between Bannon and Bartiromo:

Bannon: Lindsey Graham – and I have tremendous respect for him – he guaranteed at the Senate Judiciary Committee, we need to have the whistleblower, we need to have the #2 whistleblower, we need to have Adam Schiff as a fact witness, we need Hunter and Joe Biden…I think we need Brennan. We need all of them.

And here’s the other thing we ought to do: President Trump ought to declassify all these reports; he ought to go back to Rosenstein’s … the 40 subpoenas from the House under Devin Nunes forwarded to Rosenstein, he ought to get all of those, he ought to get all those subpoenas and all of those people ought to be called to witness.

This has… we need to have an apparatus that’s official to go about this. To protect the office of the presidency going forward.

Bartiromo: That’s why I have been so adamant about this for 3 years. It wasn’t about President Trump; it was about fairness. It was about being a patriot.  Having the top leadership of the FBI and the CIA put their finger on the scale and try to take down candidate Trump and then President Trump. That’s why my audience wants accountability.

Bannon: The same thing happened in the ’50s and ’60s. That’s why we had the Church Commission, that looked into the activities of the FBI and the CIA during the ’50s and ’60s. This is why you had this whole new structure come up [at those agencies].

We need, this needs to be put on trial. It needs to be put on trial for the American people. President Trump is right: It is the crime of the century, and we can’t cover it up.

And we don’t need to go to the Foreign Affairs…it’s not a Foreign Affairs issue. It should be Senate Judicary. Here’s the reason: Nancy Pelosi and these people are not gonna stop. The formal acquittal vote on Wednesday is just the curtain coming down on Act One. They’re gonna continue on. They’re gonna try to subpoena John Bolton in the House, they want to get his notes. And I point…

Bartiromo: I don’t think this is gonna end anytime soon.

Bannon: It’s not gonna end. And listen: This ties back to what’s happening in Iowa. There’s no heat in any of those candidates. There’s no personalities out there that can beat the President. There’s no…their policies are so radical so they can’t run on personalities, they don’t have the policies… they must destroy Trump.

Nancy Pelosi, from day one, understands that to get back the White House they must destroy Trump. And the way they’re gonna use it is to use these fake hearings. This is not gonna stop. They’re gonna subpoena more people, they’re gonna leak more information, and this is why…I don’t mind getting John Bolton as a witness. Let’s cross-examine him. Let’s get his notes and cross-examine him about that. Let’s get…I don’t mind Mick Mulvaney or OMB people…all the emails – let’s get it all up there.

[End]

So, here we see President Trump sending a clear and unambiguous message to Lindsey Graham his time for making excuses for 13 long months of utter inaction in defending the office of the presidency has now run out.

Your turn, Senator.

That is all.

Ted Cruz Sends Some Shots Across Multiple Bows in Fox News Interview

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Texas Senator Ted Cruz appeared in a pre-recorded interview with Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures yesterday. In his segment, the Senator lays out how he expects the Senate impeachment trial will proceed, including his clear expectation that the trial will begin “in early January.” So, Sen. Cruz either expects that San Fran Nan Pelosi will relent in her idiotic tactic of withholding the Houses’s imbecilic articles of impeachment, or that Mitch McConnell will simply deem the articles to have been transmitted to the Senate and proceed without her. Oh, how I do hope it will be the latter scenario.

Regardless, a clip of the interview appears below, followed by a verbatim transcript of the Senators remarks:

For those who still prefer to read stuff, here is a Transcript:

Bartiromo: Senator, it is always a pleasure to see you.

Sen. Cruz: Good to be with you, Maria, thank you.

Bartiromo: So, Nancy Pelosi said, after the impeachment, that maybe she will sit on the articles of impeachment before sending it over to you and your colleagues in the Senate. Can she do that?

Sen. Cruz: [Laughing] You know, you can’t make this up. Listen, I think this is a sign of weakness. This is a sign she understands just how weak these articles are. These articles of impeachment that they actually voted on were really an admission of failure.

The House Democrats haven’t even alleged any ‘high crimes and misdemeanors,’ much less proven any. And so now, Pelosi is in a situation where she knows that when it goes to the Senate there’s going to be a fair trial, we’re going to give both sides the opportunity to present their case, we’re going to protect due process. But she also knows that the result of a fair trial is that these impeachment claims are going to be thrown out, because they haven’t met the constitutional standard.

Bartiromo: Would you want to see witnesses in a Senate trial?

Sen. Cruz: I would, but let me tell you how I think it’s likely to play out. The trial will start in early January. It will start with the Chief Justice of the United States swearing in all 100 senators.

It will then shift to the House managers presenting their case – that’ll probably take several days. They’ll stand up, they’ll present evidence, they’ll make arguments.

Then it will shift to the White House, to the defense team for the President making their case. The President’s going to have a full and fair opportunity to defend himself.

It then will shift to questions. Now, here’s where it’s a little weird. I think some people, having seen what happened in the House, they’re expecting in the Senate to see a bunch of Senators asking questions. Well, the Senate impeachment rules prohibit any Senator from speaking in open session, in other words, when the TV cameras are on.

You’re not gonna see Elizabeth Warren and me going 15 rounds on the Senate floor because that’s not allowed. We’re both gonna be sitting quietly at our desks. Now, we can submit questions, but the questions have to be in writing. We can write out the questions, we hand them down, and the Chief Justice asks the questions from the senators.

I think at that point, we are likely to recess and have a discussion. I think one of two things will happen:

One, it is possible that a majority of the Senate will be prepared [to say], let’s move forward, let’s vote, they haven’t met their threshold, they haven’t come close, let’s reject these claims. I think that’s an outcome that could happen.

Secondly, there could well be a procedural fight. Do we need more evidence? Do we need more witnesses? In which case, that question is decided by 51 senators.  Every legal question, the Chief Justice can rule in the first instance, but the Chief Justice can be overruled by 51 senators.

I think John Roberts is very likely to follow the Rhenquist precedent and just defer the procedural questions to the Senate, which means if 51 Republicans agree, we can resolve any legal issue. And to me, that means if the President wants to call Hunter Biden, if the President wants to call the Whistleblower, due process mandates that we allow the President to defend himself, to make his case.

And so, I think we should do so. But, that’s a decision in the first place for the White House and his legal team.

Bartiromo: Based on what you know today, do you expect any Republicans to vote to impeach [remove] in the Senate?

Sen. Cruz: You know, I don’t. It is certainly possible, and there are a couple that could vote that way. But I think anyone voting on the facts, anyone voting on the law, this is a very easy vote.

What they have alleged is not a ‘high crime or misdemeanor.’ There are two articles:

The first article is just this amorphous ‘abuse of power’, which, by the way, is ‘mal-administration.’ It’s literally the term that was rejected in the Constitutional Convention. That’s what they’re alleging. That plainly does not meet the Constitutional threshold.

The second article, though, is orders of magnitude weaker. The second article is ‘obstruction of congress,’ and interestingly enough, people are used to obstruction of justice…

Bartiromo: …Yeah, I’ve never heard of that, of ‘obstruction of congress,’ but I’ve heard of obstruction of power, or obstruction of justice…”

Sen. Cruz: Well, and obstruction of justice is a real crime, it’s a felony, it’s a serious felony…

Bartiromo: …But they have named it ‘obstruction of congress…’

Sen. Cruz:Because they couldn’t prove obstruction of justice. By the way, Bill Clinton was impeached on obstruction of justice; Richard Nixon was going to be impeached on obstruction of justice. But they couldn’t prove obstruction of justice.

The basis for their so-called ‘obstruction of congress’ claim is that the President and aides in the executive asserted privileges. That’s it.

For example, when they wanted John Bolton to testify – John Bolton, National Security Advisor to the President – his lawyer went to a federal district court and said, the House has asked me to testify, the White House is asserting executive privilege: Your honor, what do I do? Judge, I’ve got two conflicting demands here: I will do what you tell me to do.

You know what the House Democrats did? They said, ‘nevermind.’ They just backed away. They didn’t subpoena Bolton, they didn’t litigate it.

Remember, the Nixon case was litigated all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court. The U.S. Supreme Court, at the end of the day, ordered the Nixon White House to hand over the White House tapes, and I think two days later, Nixon resigned. That’s how you actually fight these matters.

The House Democrats didn’t do that. Instead, their assertion is that simply claiming the privilege is an impeachable offense. If that were true, all 45 presidents going back to George Washington, every one of them would have committed impeachable offenses. That’s just laughable.

Bartiromo: This is a new precedent – it sure is.

[End]

Now, the thing to remember about Ted Cruz is that he is truly a Constitutional scholar. As a former Solicitor General of Texas, Senator Cruz argued nine cases before the U.S. Supreme Court. He understands the Constitution and he understands better than most current Senators the rules and laws surrounding impeachment and removal of a President.

Cruz and the other 52 GOP senators have also spent much of the past two weeks in meetings and calls with Majority Leader Mitch McConnell in an apparently successful effort to reach consensus on how to conduct the Senate trial. So, when Cruz states flatly that he expects the trial to begin “in early January,” that statement carries a lot of weight, and might indeed mean that Leader McConnell plans to convene the trial regardless of Pelosi’s cynical tactics.

I personally think that Cruz’s reminder that any procedural decision initially made by our very unreliable Chief Justice can be overruled by 51 Republican votes is meant as a shot across Justice Roberts’ bow. It is likely an indication that Cruz is confident that there are at least 51 GOP senators who are tired of this crap dragging on for weeks on end, and who are intent upon bringing it to as fast a conclusion as possible.  If that is the case, then Justice Roberts might want to avoid embarrassing himself by being overruled by 51 senators, and just play the case straight.

This interview, and the messages Senator Cruz – who remember, was Donald Trump’s chief competitor for the 2016 GOP nomination and who still harbors presidential ambitions of his own – sends within it, are a very important marker in the impeachment debate. This was not just a courtesy interview by the Senator, and that’s good news for America.

That is all.

Devin Nunes Warns America About the FBI and the FISA Courts

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

The most important video clip from Sunday morning’s talk shows were not the clips of the insipid Chris Wallace interviewing crooked James Comey and Bug-eyes Schiff. – Those were predictably soft-balled affairs conducted by a sympathetic hack who would be better at home on CNN or MSNBC. As a result of Wallace’s willingness to allow his two subjects to filibuster and deflect without any effective followup questioning, those interviews revealed nothing of real value.

No, the most important video clip from Sunday was Maria Bartiromo’s interview of California Republican Devin Nunes, who pulls no punches on the FBI, the DOJ, the FISA court and its judges, and on Comey.  First, the clip, which is eight minutes long, followed by a partial transcript of the highlights of Nunes’ remarks [Bartiromo’s questions/comments are paraphrased for brevity]:

Transcript:

Bartiromo: In March 2018, you came out with what is referred to as the Nunes Memo. That memo laid out the facts about the House Intelligence Committee’s findings in its investigation into the Justice Department’s abuse of the FISA process. Now we know that everything you said in that memo is true, thanks to the IG report. After you came out with that memo, you were mocked by the Democrats and the Media. Adam Schiff came out with his own memo disputing everything you had said. Tell us about the letter you sent to Adam Schiff this morning.

Nunes: Well, first off, we need to have a hearing with IG Horowitz next week. The longer that this goes on, the longer it takes for America to heal itself. The FISA court itself is in tremendous jeopardy. We cannot support the FISA court right now. The judges are refusing to take action against these dirty cops and dirty lawyers who did this.

That’s totally unacceptable, because remember, this is a secret court. The people who, like Carter Page, they have no recourse except for congress. This is why the House Intel Committee and Senate Intel Committee were created.

So, it’s important to take people back. It wasn’t just that we learned about this in February of 2018; House Republicans learned about this in the spring of 2017, at least the initial part, that the dossier had been used, the Clinton paid-for dirt. We then proved that the Clintons did pay for it, and the DNC did pay for it, in the Fall of 2017, and we knew that we had to get this information out to the American public. And that’s what led to us producing this memo in February of 2018, that the media helped cover up for it.

To get back to normalcy in this country we need a free and fair press, but we don’t have that today. We still have numerous members of the media – hundreds of them – who attack not only House Republicans for putting this out, but anyone else in the media who said, hey, maybe the Republicans have a point here, should’t we get to the bottom of it?

And remember, we spent a year saying these documents need to be declassified, and that would have ended it there. But instead, what happened is that the Democrats lied, and now they have put the American people in tremendous danger. The judges on the FISA court are putting the American people in danger.

The American people at the end of the day, we are not going to give up our liberty in order to have some court spy on political campaigns, and to use our counterintelligence capabilities to do that.

Bartiromo: One thing that we did not hear from the IG report was anything that happened before July, 2016. Jim Comey continues to claim the FBI launched its counterintelligence investigation in July, 2016. Yet, there is all this operational activity before that. We had informants running against Carter Page and George Papadopoulous as early as March. What can you tell us about this?

Nunes: Yeah, we are unsure about why Horowitz was unable to figure out what happened pre-July 31. But remember, the dirty cops at the FBI and the DOJ, over the last couple of years hid that from congress also. They would answer no questions. So, right there you have obstruction of a congressional investigation that ought to be held at the highest level, all of those people who blocked us from getting that information. Especially if we find out later that the FBI was involved in it.

Here’s what we know right now: We know that the spy ring that was created to target Carter Page, George Papadopoulous, Trump Campaign officials, this big spy ring that was spying on the Trump Campaign…before the FISA application in October, this was in August and September 2016, they’re getting miked up to record the conversations with the Trump Campaign members.

That same spy ring was already operational in Spring and early Summer of 2016. So look, I don’t know if the FBI was running it, I don’t know if some other government agency was running it, I don’t know if some foreign government was operating it. I mean, hell, for all I know, it was Putin and Russia and the Ukrainians since that seems to be the blame for everything that happens wrong at the FBI, the DOJ or the Democratic Party when they lose elections.

I don’t know who the hell was running the spy ring, but I want to know, and the American people need to know, and that’s what John Durham is trying to figure out and I’m glad he’s there.

Bartiromo: Give us an update on your libel lawsuit against CNN. Last time we asked you – a week and a half ago – you had served them in the suit but you hadn’t heard back from them. Give us an update on that.

Nunes: Well, as predicted, they’re refusing to come to the table to work this out. And the defamation and the reckless disregard for the truth continues. Remember: Any Republican who didn’t go along with media narrative first was accused of being in the Putin puppets and Russian spies. Now, if you talked to a Ukrainian, that’s a problem, and if you talked to the former Mayor of New York, Rudy Giuliani, that’s an even bigger problem. You can’t make this stuff up.

But what CNN did, and the timing that they did that to create tremendous damage not only to me, but to my fellow Republicans in congress, this was to create a new media narrative that Republicans couldn’t be trusted because we were having secret meetings in Vienna with shady Ukrainians, ok? Great story, CNN, it’s great for Hollywood, it would be great for some sitcom at Fox possibly, but when it’s…

Bartiromo: You haven’t had heard back from them…

Nunes: …it didn’t happen.

Bartiromo: Before you go, Comey is out this morning saying ‘I was wrong. I was overconfident in the procedures that the FBI and Justice had built over 20 years. I thought they were robust enough – it’s incredibly hard to get a FISA, and I was confident in those. But he was right, and there was real sloppiness. 17 things that should have been in the application or were discussed should have been characterized differently, and it was unacceptable.’ This is what Comey is saying this morning.

Nunes: Yeah, well, look, Comey, who cares what he says, right? He already knew that the Dossier was salacious and unverified, at least that’s what he testified to us in early 2017. He knew that had been used in the FISA, he knew that what he called it in Bret Baier’s interview, he called it a ‘mosaic of facts,’ he knew what the rest of those facts were. He knew that it was the dirty Dossier, he knew it was fake news articles that were planted by Fusion GPS and Democrat operatives, and he knew the spying had already occurred.

Bartiromo: So he lied.

Nunes: Perhaps the only thing he didn’t know was there was exculpatory evidence, that would be the only thing, but he knew the rest of it. I mean, he’s lied so many times, you could take a whole IG report and make about a thousand pages of the Comey lies.

Bartiromo: Congressman, it’s good to see you this morning.

[End]

The main thing to know about Nunes is that he, more than any other member of congress, knows where all the bodies are buried in all of this, and he is obviously getting tired of the long and drawn out process of getting the truth out to the American people. Schiff also knows where most, if not all of those bodies are buried, but as we have seen, Schiff is just focused on lying about all of it to protect his political party and the deep state dirty cops at the FBI.

This interview was the guy who knows more than anyone else about all of this sounding the alarm to the public about the FISA courts and what he calls the “dirty cops” who abuse them to spy on American citizens. We ignore his warnings at our own peril.

That is all.

Horowitz Report Delayed Again? What a Shock. Not.

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

In case you missed it, the report from DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s FISA abuse investigation is being delayed. Yet again. For the, what, 100th time?

News of the latest delay came from Maria Bartiromo, host on Fox News’s “Mornings With Maria,” who had previously reported on her program last week that the report would be released this Friday:

“Classifications being made.” Well, we all know what that means in the lingo of the apparently hopelessly-corrupt Department of Justice these days, right? Whenever we do see this report, it will be filled with entire passages completely black out, and those will in all likelihood be the most crucial passages that would implicate the actual bad actors in the 2016-17 election fixing/coup effort.

So, every time you get to thinking that maybe, just maybe, Attorney General William Barr and U.S. Attorney John Durham might actually be making some progress and doing something real in their own investigation into the origins of the election fixing/coup d’etat plot, you get a countervailing event that shows you nothing much has changed at the Department of [No] Justice. Let’s all remember that this past May, President Donald Trump gave Mr. Barr full discretion on the determination of what information related to these unending efforts to change the results of the 2016 elections should and should not be classified. Thus, if we are now having another two-week delay in the issuance of the Horowitz Report, it is completely at Barr’s discretion.

Speaking on Sean Hannity’s show Monday night, former Utah Congressman Jason Chaffetz said that the interminable delays are the result of “intra-agency debate, and really a food fight” over classification issues, further saying that he’s being told that up to 10-20% of the full report – which Bartiromo claims is massive – will end up being blacked out. Chaffetz reminded Hannity that just 7 WORDS had been black out in Horowitz’s previous report.

Oh. So, nothing at DOJ has really changed since 2016, right?

But it gets even worse, according to Chaffetz. Fast forward to 3:35 of the clip below and listen to what he says about worthless FBI Apparatchik Christopher Wray:

For those of you who still like to read stuff, here’s a partial transcript of the key 15 seconds:

Hannity: Who is asking for the redactions? Is that Director Wray?

Chaffetz: I have not seen any evidence that Director Wray has been cooperative, but I think you’re also talking about other agencies, perhaps the CIA, the NSA, there are others. I think Mr. Clapper, Mr. Brennan are fighting behind the scenes as best they can, in front of the camera they’re fighting as best they can.

This is disgusting. It’s an ongoing national disgrace. And it’s apparently never going to end.

Another very interesting piece of that clip comes just a few seconds into the video, when Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz acknowledges that he was kicked out of a House Intelligence Committee witness deposition by Chairman Adam Schiff yesterday. Kicked out.

Imagine – just try to imagine – the uproar we would be seeing in our fake news media this morning had Republican Chairman Devin Nunes kicked Schiff out of a formal committee meeting during 2017-18. You would think the world was coming to an end.

This is real, true Nazi stuff, folks. The majority party is now so all-consumed with power that is denying the minority party members any and all rights to participate in this fake impeachment process.

And it’s all being enabled by your fake news media. Why?  Because they’re complicit, too. Never forget that part.

Have a great day, if you can.

That is all.

Watch Trey Gowdy Defend John Ratcliffe

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Former South Carolina Congressman Trey Gowdy appeared on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo. During the course of the interview, Gowdy went off on an epic rant defending the honor of his friend John Ratcliffe, whose nomination to become the next Director of National Intelligence was torpedoed this week by RINO Richard Burr and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
