John Durham Interviews John Brennan as the end of Summer Grows Near

If Brennan’s not a target for Durham, who is? – Former Obama CIA Director John Brennan was interviewed by John Durham and his investigators for 8 full hours on Friday as a part of Durham’s investigation into the SpyGate/ObamaGate election fixing/coup d’etat effort of 2016 – 2018.

No one really knows what was discussed during those 8 hours, but Brennan, through a spokesman, came out of it claiming to not be a target of the investigation, at least at this time. Here’s the statement:

Image

As has been the case throughout the course of his investigation, Durham and his team had no comment about the day’s activities. Thus, the public is left to make of the Brennan statement what it will.

Some will think it’s Brennan giving his pals in the corrupt news media a narrative to follow. Brennan has been a professional liar throughout his entire adult life – no word how he spent his childhood, but it was probably mainly spent lying to his parents, teachers, friends and family – and there is no reason to think he would have suddenly changed that mode of operation on Friday. This is certainly a valid line of thought.

Others will take Brennan at his word and conclude Durham is just another worthless smoke screen being placed before the public by a do-nothing Department of Justice at the behest of William Barr. Given the paltry results that Durham has produced thus far, it’s hard to say that is not a fair assessment. We certainly have no evidence otherwise, other than this week’s guilty plea by corrupt ex-FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith, who was let off with a very light sentence.

Personally, I think the truth lies somewhere in the middle. Durham is going to target individual conspirators against whom he and Barr determine they are likely to obtain a guilty sentence from a jury in Washington, DC. Given that the District of Columbia population is roughly 96% Democrat, doing that will require them accumulating evidence that is completely irrefutable. There simply cannot be any holes in the case for the defense to exploit in order to provide the jurors with a “reasonable doubt” that they will all be desperately searching for.

Men like Brennan and James Comey and James Clapper, who rise to the very highest levels of their respective organizations, are able to do that in large part because they are highly skilled at deflecting blame and setting up plausible deniability that insulates them from internal controversies that get people who work for them fired. They are extremely adept at setting up scapegoats and ensuring the lines of damning evidence never rise to their level.

Thus, it is fairly likely that Brennan is not a target of this investigation at this time, and that Durham is focused on obtaining indictments of or cooperation from smaller fish like Clinesmith, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Bruce Ohr and Nellie Ohr. If he is really good at pressuring these smaller fish – and his career at DOJ indicates that he is quite skilled in this area – he may be able to get one or more of them to turn in order to protect themselves. That may well have already happened with Clinesmith, although the sentencing memo entered by DOJ in his case did not indicate as much.

The cooperation of someone like Strzok or Page might enable Durham to pierce the veil enough to get at Strok’s direct boss at the time, Bill Priestap. Cooperation from Priestap might enable Durham to go after his direct boss at the time, Andrew McCabe. Cooperation from McCabe might enable Durham to get a really big fish like Comey, and Comey could, finally, lead to Brennan.

But without any such cooperation, if these little fish are willing to let themselves be gobbled up while taking one for the treasonous team, then it is likely that those of us hoping for some real justice in this case will walk away highly disappointed at the final outcome.

Like it or not, this is how these investigations go. There is literally no reason at all to believe a single word Brennan’s spokesman had to say yesterday. But until we see some real results from Durham in terms of indictments and prosecution, there is also no real reason to think Brennan is a target at this moment in time.

Barr promised action by the “end of summer.” As of today, that is exactly one month away. Durham has 31 days to assure half of the U.S. population that justice still exists in our country. He can either become a true American hero, or prove he is just another Deep State snake.

Stay tuned.

The Evening Wrap: Rosenstein Tosses McCabe Under the Bus, and Other WINNING News

So many items of WINNING news today it’s hard to know where to start.

How about this: The ADP private sector jobs report for May is in, and although it’s a big negative number, it’s still positive news in the context of this whole self-imposed Wuhan Virus recession. The ADP number for May came in at a net jobs loss of 2.76 million, which is obviously a depressing number. But – and it’s a big BUT – the consensus of projections by the so-called experts in this field had predicted a loss of 8.663 million jobs, almost 6 million more than the actual number.

What this means is pretty clear:

– Many workers who had lost jobs over the last 10 weeks and filed initial claims for unemployment quickly found new jobs;

– Businesses are reopening faster than the “experts” have anticipated despite the efforts by an array of Democrat governors to prevent that from happening in states like Michigan, New York, California, Oregon, New Jersey and Nevada;

– The reduction in economic growth has obviously not been as deep and severe as most have estimated.

That’s why we have this next bit of WINNING news: The Dow Jones Industrial Average rocketed up above 26,000 today, just 5 trading days after it topped 25,000 last Wednesday, and just 9 weeks after it bottomed out at 18,591. That is a rise of ~40% in a little over 2 months.

At the same time, the NASDAQ hit 9,681 today, and is now within just 70 points of regaining every bit of the losses it suffered in March. Given that the stock markets tend to reflect where investors believe the economy will be 3 to 6 months from now, that represents a stunning vote of confidence in the U.S. economy.

Obviously, the investor class in our country has just as little faith in the economic “expert” class as you and I do.

Oh, hey, then there’s this: You may be wondering why all the rioting across the country suddenly got dialed back last night. President Trump is saying that it’s because some mayors – like Eric Garcetti in Los Angeles – called in the National Guard, and that likely has a lot of merit. But other depraved Democrats like Bill de Blasio and Lori Lightfoot in Chicago did not do that, yet saw a dramatic decrease in violence and mayhem in their cities, too.

Here’s why I believe that happened: The Democrats – and thus, Antifa and Black Lives Matter – got hold of bad polling data, which meant all the bad out-of-state actors were ordered to go home. Remember, every decision the Democrats make is based on polling data.

The bad data on the riots came to them in the form of a new poll from the very liberal Morning Consult polling group, which finds that Americans favor using the National Guard and the U.S. military to put down these riots by a frankly amazing 58%-30% margin. The move is even favored by Democrat voters by a 48-43 margin.

In another bit of bad polling data (for Democrats), the Rasmussen survey shows that a large plurality of Americans consider Antifa to be a terrorist organization. 49% of respondents answered yes, while just 30% said no.

If you don’t think that data caused a ton of Democrat heads to explode, then you don’t understand how Democrats think and operate.

Uhhhh, who to believe – Rod Rosenstein? Or Andrew McCabe? – It’s a very tough choice, but that is what America faces today following an interesting Senate Judiciary Committee hearing in which the oily, rodent-like former Acting Attorney General offered his sniffing and slurping testimony. In this instance, I would tend to believe Rosenstein, if only for the fact that being slightly more believable than the pathological liar McCabe is such a low damn bar.

As we pointed out yesterday, Rosenstein has much to answer for related to his gross misconduct in office during the active coup d’etat effort which he personally facilitated from May 2017 through March 2019. Sadly, the stilted format of these hearings and uselessness of so many of the GOP senators meant that he only had to answer for a few of those things today.

The main focus of the few Republicans who really went after Rosenstein today – Lindsey Graham, Ted Cruz and Chuck Grassley – was why Rosenstein signed off on the 4th fraudulent FISA warrant and appointed Robert Mueller shortly after he had assumed the office of Deputy Attorney General. Rosenstein’s wormy answer basically amounted to, “hey, I was just going on the information provided to me by Andy McCabe and his evil team, which included Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.”

Remember, at a press conference two years ago, Rosenstein went on and on about the fact that “In order to get a FISA warrant, you need an affidavit signed by a career law enforcement officer who swears the information is true… And if it is wrong, that person is going to face consequences.”

Remember that? I do, and today Rosenstein outright admitted his signing off on that FISA warrant based solely on the word of a pathological liar and his demonic staff was, well, wrong. But of course, he then added that, hey, he was just the new guy at DOJ and couldn’t be expected to try to verify any of the BS he was being fed by McCabe and Strzok and Page.

Naturally, McCabe was watching the proceedings at home – or maybe at CNN headquarters, where he remains employed as a richly-paid on-screen liar, er, “contributor” – and he issued a statement defending himself as the hearing was progressing, as reported by JustTheNews.com:

In a statement apparently authored shortly after Rosenstein made that assertion, McCabe said that Rosenstein’s “claims to have been misled by me or anyone from the F.B.I.” were “completely false.”

“I briefed Mr. Rosenstein on Jim Comey’s memos describing his interactions with the president days after Mr. Rosenstein wrote the memo firing Jim Comey,” McCabe said, in a statement read by committee Chairman Lindsey Graham.

Rosenstein’s remarks “loo[k] to be another sad attempt by the president and his men to rewrite the history of their actions in 2017,” McCabe said. “They have found in Mr. Rosenstein, then and now, a willing accessory in that effort.”

[End]

Hilariously, Lindsey Graham closed the hearing out by reading McCabe’s statement and allowing Rosenstein to give one more worm-like answer:

“I did not say that Mr. McCabe misled me,” he said. “Those were not my words. I think he is responding to somebody’s question.”

“What I said was, he did not reveal the Comey memos to me for a week. And that is true. He revealed them to me only a couple of hours before they showed up in the New York Times, and he did not reveal to me that he was having internal deliberations with his team about whether to target high-profile people for investigation.”

[End]

Here’s reality: Rosenstein admitted under oath today that he had zero basis for signing that FISA warrant; zero basis for believing anyone in the Trump Campaign or Transition team was colluding with the Russians; and thus, zero basis for appointing a special counsel. He admitted that he basically didn’t know nuthin’ about nuthin’ and just allowed himself to be strung along by the coup cabal made up of Obama holdovers at the DOJ and FBI.

Absolutely sickening.

Tomorrow, expect the GOP majority to vote unanimously to issue subpoenas to more than 50 Obama loyalists who tried to fix the 2016 election and then overthrow a duly-elected POTUS.

This is actually gonna be fun to watch.

I leave you with this absolutely epic clip of Senator Ted Cruz destroying Rosenstein, Barack Obama, Susan Rice and Joe Biden at today’s hearing:

Coup Cabal Communications: The Problem Lies in What we Haven’t Seen

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II

Many readers will be familiar with the Twitter account called “Undercover Huber.” No idea who is behind the account, but it has been quoted and re-tweeted by all manner of public officials and media personalities like Andrew McCarthy over the past few years. It has been an excellent source of fact-based research and commentary on the Deep State’s continuing efforts to hamper President Donald Trump and remove him from office.

Undercover Huber posted an excellent thread early Sunday morning exposing the DOJ/FBI cabal not for what we have seen in the reams of their communications that have been made public, but for what we have not seen in any of those communications. It’s great food for thought, and I wanted to be sure readers here got to see it. It is reprinted below in full.

Here is the text of the remaining tweets in the thread:

We’ve now got a lot of material from Crossfire Hurricane and Mueller’s operation.

A lovers’ quarrel, classified codenames, confidential emails, vulgarity, biased texts, internal debates about FBI/DOJ strategy, media leaking and more.

But there is one thing we haven’t seen in any text, any Lync chat, any email, any document, any interview, any Congressional testimony or any report.

Not in any of the thousands upon thousands of files released.

*The words “civil rights” and any concern for them* ?

Even the so-called “boy scout” with a conscience and head of FBI counterintelligence Bill Priestap seems like he was only concerned about setting up 30-year combat vet Flynn because “playing games” might make the “institution” of the FBI look bad & result in political blowback.

Where are the notes of FBI agents or DOJ officials saying, “gee, setting up a pretext to interview someone as part of an investigation we know is bogus might violate this persons civil rights. It might harm their life, liberty and pursuit of happiness even. Let’s rethink this.”

Where are the texts worrying about whether it is moral to try to get someone fired from the pinnacle of their career, a job as NSA in the White House, bringing their life crashing down around their ears?

Why don’t Comey’s memos about Trump asking if he can “let Flynn go” mention that the *Comey’s own FBI field office* wanted to let Flynn go a month earlier, because they had *nothing*, zero on him? Even after the plan Comey set in motion got Flynn fired in disgrace? Slip his mind?

Why is nobody writing a memo to themselves asking if they’re really doing things “by the book” when they keep sending in a spy they must know is lying to them, that they know is pals with “former” Russian intelligence chiefs, who keeps coming up empty, only with exculpatory info?

Why are there no minutes of any meeting between Comey’s crew debating whether it’s a good idea to flip a friend of George Papadopoulos, turning someone he trusted into a weapon wearing a wire against him, then suppressing that the one thing they got was yet more exculpatory info?

And when the “lead FBI attorney” on Crossfire Hurricane finds out that his prime target @carterwpage is a patriot assisting the CIA, rather than a traitor helping the Russians, why is there no email CC’d to everyone saying that, but a doctored, fraudulent one saying the opposite?

“Wow this guy was actually assisting our friends in the agency for years? He served in the military? Okay he’s got some unusual views on Russia but should I really lie to a court so I can spy on this guy, smear him in the press, destroy his business & try to throw him in prison?”

Nobody is writing that email, putting down those thoughts in notes, confiding to a close friend, sending an anguished text, worrying about what they could do to these people. Because they didn’t see them as people. Just targets to be destroyed.

But the FBI’s job isn’t to destroy people, or get them fired. It’s to investigate real crimes and protect the country. How does it “protect” the country to destabilize the presidency with a Collusion lie and deprive the intelligence community of Flynn’s renowned expertise?

Bear in mind as you read this that Comey’s crew & all the people who worked on Mueller’s team, and all of the media people who helped them are unrepentant. They don’t care.

It hurts Orange Man, so it’s all justified. They’ll destroy anyone or anything, as long as it destroys him.

Maybe Chris Wray can put some of this down in a memo and send it out on a training course. I’m sure that’ll fix this.

It’s no wonder that US Attorney John Durham is reportedly concerned that no whistleblowers have come forward.

It’s because they don’t think there is anything to blow the whistle on.

They’re all involved. Act accordingly.

/ENDS

Note: This is why it’s probably not a good idea to be demanding specific people are “locked up” or targeted for public investigation. That should only happen at the end of fair & due process. While Comey’s crew don’t think even good guys have rights, the truth is bad guys do too.

[End]

Think about it.

Stop Asking About the ‘Durham Report’

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

When is the ‘Durham Report’ coming out?  – I get this question in some form or another pretty much every day. I get it in emails, in PMs on Facebook, in the comments section to this website. “When is the Durham Report coming out” has been this site’s top search term almost on a daily basis for months.

It’s a question that I never answer, for two main reasons. First, I don’t know the answer, and neither does anyone else. Second, and more importantly, is the simple fact that I don’t care, and neither should you.

Wait, what?

Seriously: Why do you care if you ever see a “report” from U.S. Attorney John Durham? John Durham is not a Special Counsel; he is not an Inspector General; he is not a congressional committee or a corrupt reporter or anyone else whose job it is to write reports.

John Durham is a U.S. Attorney, a prosecutor, a man whose job it is to put bad people in jail. Period.

I don’t want to ever see a damn report from John Durham. I am quite frankly sick to freaking death of seeing reports, and you should be, too. We have seen reports from half a dozen congressional committees, authored by Republicans and Democrats alike, and none of the bad actors from the Obama Coup Cabal have gone to prison. We have seen at least four different reports from DOJ IG Michael Horowitz, and none of the bad actors from the Coup Cabal have gone to prison. We have seen the report from Special Counsel Robert Mueller, and none of the bad actors from the Coup Cabal have gone to prison. We have seen a thousand reports from corrupt reporters, and none of the bad actors from the Coup Cabal have gone to prison.

I don’t want to see another report from John Durham. What I want to see from John Durham is a long series of indictments and perp walks and prosecutions and convictions with long prison sentences involving the real, true bad actors from the Obama-era Coup Cabal. I want to see all of those things targeting real, true bad actors like James Comey and John Brennan and James Clapper and Andrew McCabe and Lisa Page and Peter Strzok and Sally Yates and Loretta Lynch and James Baker and Bill Priestap and if it can be proved this neverending coup d’etat originated at the very top, Barack Obama his own self, too.

That is the job of a U.S. attorney, not writing some damn report that leads to nothing of any consequence. I have had a lifetime’s fill of do-nothing reports from toothless public officials. Now, it is time for a real U.S. Attorney, backed by the full power of the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Attorney General, to do his real, actual damn job and put people in prison for a long, long time.

That’s what I want to see from John Durham. That is what I am waiting for.

We know who the truly bad people are, we know what they did and why and when they did those things. Now it is time to start putting them in jail. If all we are going to get from Mr. Durham is just another report, then our country is well and truly doomed and there will be no recovering from it.

So, stop asking me that question, because frankly my dear friends, I don’t give a damn about seeing any report from John Durham.

All I want to see from Mr. Durham is justice.

That is all.

The Horowitz FISA Investigation May Have Found its Scapegoat

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Details of the Horowitz FISA report are leaking, and it all smacks of a whitewash. – Not that that outcome wasn’t completely predictable, since I warned you to fully expect that in yesterday’s Campaign Update.

Last night, CNN ran with a story – based on leaks no doubt obtained from one of the many ex-FBI snakes now employed by the fakest news channel on earth – proclaiming that Horowitz’s report will make claims of criminal activity by a single FBI lawyer, whose identity is not revealed in the story. Might it be James Baker, the former FBI general counsel now working for CNN as a contributor? Might it be Lisa Page, the paramour and co-conspirator to super-duper FBI stud Peter Strzok? We didn’t know, and CNN wasn’t telling.

What CNN did say about the nature of the potential charges against this lawyer is this:

A former FBI lawyer is under criminal investigation after allegedly altering a document related to 2016 surveillance of a Trump campaign adviser, several people briefed on the matter told CNN.

A little later in the evening, the Deep State mouthpieces at the Washington Post came in with a story of their own, and it revealed more about this lawyer’s identity. According to the Post:

The person under scrutiny is a low-level FBI lawyer who has since been forced out of the agency, according to the officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss material that has not yet been made public.

Hilariously, after Wolf Blitzer carried a report on this CNN “breaking news,” the fake news channel’s own on-air fake talent studiously ignored it for the rest of the evening. Only in America’s dead profession of journalism would a news outlet work so hard to bury a major scoop that its own people were the first to report.

But the bottom line here is that Horowitz, true to his nature as a career creature of the DC Swamp, has apparently found the perfect scapegoat, a low-level lawyer who has already been forced out of his job and who can now become the sacrificial lamb, the offering to the public in a report that otherwise whitewashes the utter defrauding of the FISA process that we all know was led by Strzok, James Comey, Andrew McCabe and Rod Rosenstein, among others. We know a whitewash is very likely because the Post piece also contains this very disturbing passage:

That conduct did not alter Horowitz’s finding that the surveillance application of former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page had a proper legal and factual basis, the officials said.

Ugh.

The lone bit of potentially good news in all of this actually appears in the CNN report:

Horowitz turned over evidence on the allegedly altered document to John Durham, the federal prosecutor appointed early this year by Attorney General William Barr to conduct a broad investigation of intelligence gathered for the Russia probe by the CIA and other agencies, including the FBI. The altered document is also at least one focus of Durham’s criminal probe.

So, again, if you were expecting gang-buster, myriad criminal referrals to be contained in the report from career apparatchik Michael Horowitz, you would be well advised to cool your jets. While reports from CNN and the WaPo are highly suspect at best and far from definitive accounts of the totality of the Horowitz’s findings, they provide good initial foundation to believe the report will be a classic DC Swamp whitewash.

After all, if the report contained criminal referrals targeting the true major players in all of this, those major players would be working with their toadies at CNN, WaPo, the NYTimes and the networks to plant stories that smear Horowitz and contain more-preferred narratives.

If you want real justice to be levied at the coup cabal plotters, it will either come from John Durham and his investigation, or it will never come at all.

That is all.

The Media Mounts a Final Desperate Effort to Protect Barack Obama

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

The fake news media is going into overdrive. – Over the last 48 hours, we have now had the three fakest fake news outlets push their toadyism on behalf of the panicking Democrats and Deep State to a new level. On Wednesday night, the New York Times put the deep state spin on the Obama FBI’s spying operations against the Trump Campaign; Thursday night saw the release of CNN’s latest fake poll, a desperate effort to prop up the flagging campaign of Irish Bob O’Rourke; and Friday afternoon, the reliable old Washington Post jumped in with an op/ed from the execrable hack Paul Waldman.

Waldman’s piece is an obvious effort to set the narrative for the deep state as Attorney General William Barr pursues his own investigations into the origins of the Obama FBI/DOJ/CIA spying operations against the Trump Campaign. The goal of this narrative is to smear Barr – who, it is now obvious, is our nation’s first real, functional attorney general concerned about the rule of law in over a decade – in an effort to render any findings he makes as illegitimate, nothing but the work of Donald Trump weaponizing the Department of Justice to go after his opponents.

It is, in other words, the ultimate case of the media/Democrat favorite tactic of Projection: The tactic of accusing your opponents of doing exactly the things you yourself are in fact guilty of having done.

This is the beginning of a desperate effort by the Democrat/media propaganda complex to provide one final layer of cover for the head honcho who actually did deploy the FBI and DOJ and CIA to attack his opponents. It’s an operation designed to protect the guy who oversaw the entire operation and actively guided it – America’s Worst Mistake, Barack Hussein Obama. For those of us who have been paying close attention to all of the information that has come out into the public domain, Obama’s fingerprints have always been all over this illegal spying operation mounted against the opposition party’s presidential campaign.

The spying on the Trump Campaign was mounted as a counterintelligence operation by the FBI, recommended first by CIA Director John Brennan, authorized by FBI Director James Comey and managed by Deputy Chief of the Counterintelligence Division Peter Strzok. As a matter of routine, the President of the United States is given weekly briefings of the FBI’s counterintelligence operations. At the very least, Obama was fully aware of everything that was going on, a reality borne out in myriad text messages between Strzok and his paramour Lisa Page.

All of this and so much more is a matter of public record already – it is not in doubt. The fake news media has done everything it can to keep the public living in blissful ignorance about it all, but more and more Americans become aware every day, and that trend will speed up massively with the release of the pending Horowitz reports and the coming declassification of all of the underlying documents by President Trump, which will also begin to take place in the coming weeks.

So Barr must be smeared – it’s the media’s only remaining shield for Obama His Own Self. And it isn’t just Barr – other key players must and will be smeared as well.

You should expect the Post or the Times to quickly begin mounting a similar smear campaign against DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz, since he is supposed to issue his own reports on a) the rampant Obama-era abuse of the FISA process, and b) the leaking habits of ex-FBI Director and current Teen Drama Queen James Comey in the coming weeks. Why? Because all the perceived enemies of the Deep State/Democrat Party must be smeared. Their reputations must be besmirched as a matter of protecting the media’s puppet masters.

What about Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham? You should expect to soon see the media mounting a smear campaign against him as well, since he is promising to use his committee to mount its own investigation into the origins of the spying operation. Graham, a life-long bachelor, has long been the subject of rumors that he is a closeted gay man. Already, we are seeing despicable cretins like Rosie O’Donnell, Alec Baldwin and Chelsea Handler launching gay smears at him via their own Twitter accounts. You should expect to see the Usual Suspect media outlets – The Post, the Times, CNN, MSNBC, etc. – to soon start running stories pushing rumors about Graham, stories they would never even consider running about any Democrat.

Yes, it is despicable. Yes, it is beneath contempt. But hey, this the fake news media and Democrats we’re talking about here. You expected something else?

That is all.

Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson Lob a Bombshell over to William Barr

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Well, that’s kind of a big deal.  – The fake news media and Teen Drama Queen James Comey will no doubt squeal that they shouldn’t use that bad word, “spying”, but Senators Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson disagree. Grassley, who chairs the Senate Finance Committee and Johnson, Chairman of the Homeland Security Committee, sent a joint letter over to Attorney General William Barr on Thursday in which they detail their concerns that the Obama-era Deep State Cabal within the DOJ and FBI continued to spy on the Trump operation after it had failed to fix the election for the Pantsuit Princess.

The letter cites texts between FBI Super-Duper Agent Peter Strzok and his illicit lover, FBI lawyer Lisa Page as evidence that efforts to entrap Trump officials in situations that could be construed as being improper was still ongoing weeks after the election had come and gone. The letter also notes the vast array of illegal leaks being published by the fake news media during the transition, leaks containing information that almost surely came from someone within DOJ or the FBI.  Here’s a key passage:

Additionally, we note that a number of news outlets have reported sensitive information related to the investigation into alleged Russian collusion with the Trump campaign. Those reports have revealed sensitive information focusing on the FBI sending informants to meet withTrump advisors; a warrant to surveil Carter Page; and the United Kingdom signal intelligence agency briefing former CIA Director John Brennan on alleged communications between Trump’s campaign and Russian officials, among other things. 11 Notably, the Justice Department Inspector General’s review of the Clinton investigation found “profound concerns about the volume and extent of unauthorized media contacts by FBI personnel…” 12 It appears the same happened during the Russia investigation. Leaks to the media about ongoing investigations undermine the ability of investigators to properly investigate. Moreover, sensitive leaks to the media while members of congress performing constitutionally mandated oversight are kept in the dark is unacceptable.

The senators, both of whose committees have oversight over the activities of the DOJ, go on to order Barr to work with their staff to schedule a joint hearing in the near future to provide testimony to the committees about the following:

  1. Please describe the nature and extent of your review of FBI surveillance of theTrump Campaign, President-elect Trump’s transition staff, Vice Presidentelect Pence’s transition staff, President Trump’s staff, and Vice PresidentPence’s staff, including your efforts to determine whether that surveillance was adequately predicated.
  2. How many counter-intelligence briefings were provided to the Trump and Pence transition staffs prior to Inauguration Day? Please list the dates, all agencies involved, and each official that represented those agencies at the briefings.
  3. Many of the FBI employees involved in these activities are no longer employed by the federal government. How will your review obtain information needed from these individuals?

Now, this is all a bit of well-orchestrated Washington, DC kabuki theater, of course. Anyone who has been paying attention to the information that has come to light about the Obama Administrations efforts to spy on the Trump camp has been aware for well over a year that those efforts continued not only through the transition, but that Obama holdovers at DOJ and the FBI kept it all going well after Trump’s inauguration.

Hell, that’s essentially what the entire Mueller Witch Hunt was all about. At the end of the day, it was little more than a Deep State-sanctioned intelligence-gathering operation designed to entrap Trump officials and provide the Democrats with both a roadmap to impeachment and opposition research to use during the 2020 campaign.

But now that Mueller’s operation has folded up shop, it’s finally time for the tables to turn. The letter from Grassley and Johnson demanding a hearing is just a part of the process necessary to start building the public record and case against the real law-breakers. You can be sure that Barr is well aware of the Obama conspiracy to fix the 2016 election and then find a way to depose Trump after he was elected. He was aware of all of that when he wrote his famous 2018 piece slamming the legitimacy of the entire special counsel process, in fact.

So this is not necessarily a “bombshell” for Barr or the few among us who have been paying attention to the case being built against the real bad actors, but for the 99.9% of the population who have been letting the fake news media distract them with all those fake news shiny objects, it is. This letter is a big deal, because it is the trigger that formally kicks off a process of revealing real information to the public through these two key committees.

That’s how this game ultimately works in Washington: Fake justice is very loud, quick and in-your-face on the 24-hour cable channels; but the wheels of real justice turn slowly, inexorably, and take place mainly behind the scenes.

That is all.

Democrats/Media Double-Down on the Fake News After Barr Bombshell Testimony

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Well, this will be an interesting day – but what else is new? – The Ecuadorian Embassy in London withdrew the asylum status it had granted WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange seven years ago, and turned him over to U.S. authorities. This just happened at about 5:00 a.m. Central Time as I was beginning to compile this piece, so I have no more details other than that.

What do you do when the fake news fails? You double down on faking the news. – If you’re a Democrat or a Democrat activist pretending to be a journalist, that’s what you do, anyway.

If it appears to you that leading Democrats and their media partners at CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times, the Washington Post and every other major media outlet are in an outright panic this morning, that’s only because they are. Definitely in a panic. A big one.

After Attorney General William Barr revealed to the Senate Judiciary Committee that he is forming a team to investigate the origins of the Obama FBI/DOJ’s decision to spy on the Trump Campaign throughout the 2016 elections, Democrats and their media agents went into overdrive pushing their joint talking points, which when summarized amount to “Barr is corrupt!”

Hey, wasn’t just a few months ago that all the leading Democrats were praising President Donald Trump for picking an old Bushie to be his next Attorney General? Of course, back then the Dems all assumed that Barr must hate Trump just like all the Bushes do, and that Trump was stupidly putting a Democrat ally in the AG’s spot.

You know what “assume” does, don’t you? It makes an “ass” out of “u” and “me.” And all the leading Democrats and their media agents, too.

San Fran Nan had the most revealing comment on Barr, saying in an interview with some fake “journalist” at the Associated Press that Barr is “going off the rails.” Yes, see, he was supposed to stay “on the rails” the Democrats and Robert Mueller had laid out for him, and now he is straying from the desired narrative on President Trump and the Russia Collusion fantasy.

Then there was always-reliable Pelosi toady Steny Hoyer, who of course stayed right on the dictated script of the day with “He is acting as an employee of the president. I believe the Attorney General believes he needs to protect the president of the United States.” Oh, you don’t say? How shocking you would utter those exact words, words that were then parroted by pretty much every Democrat talking head and fake news media lapdog on the nation’s cable news networks, and in the two big newspapers that serve as the reliable print propaganda arm of the Democrat Party.

It’s all such an incredibly tiresome game, yet they will continue to play it because it is literally all they have left.

But there is an interesting aspect in this, and that comes in observing which players in the Russia Collusion fantasy/illegal spying effort who aren’t talking, and haven’t been for a while.

Let’s start with Obama-era CIA Director and noted communist John Brennan. On March 26, two days after Barr released his four-page summary of the Mueller report, Brennan appeared on MSNBC’s Democrat propaganda show “Morning Joe,” and blamed all of the seditious statements he’s made about “Russia Collusion” on bad information he’d gotten from his “sources” who may or may not actually exist.

Two days later, the bombastic ex-spymaster issued a single tweet in which he said “It doesn’t matter if you are a Republican, a Democrat, an Independent, or an American of any or of no political affiliation. We all should hold our elected officials and those who hold the public’s trust to the highest ethical and moral standards, most especially Presidents.” Oh, golly, how high-minded of him.

Since that tweet, it had been two solid weeks of radio silence from one of MSNBC’s most highly-paid “contributors.” No tweets, no mornings with Joe and Mika, nothing.

Until last night, that is, when he appeared on MSNBC’s “Hardball” program with Chris Matthews, and said only that he was “disappointed” that the Attorney General used the word “spying” in this testimony to describe what were without any doubt at all the spying actions conducted by the DOJ/FBI cabal against the Trump Campaign and Trump Transition Team. None of Brennan’s usual bombast, none of his standard accusations that President Trump committed “treason”, just an expression of disappointment.

Why, it’s almost as if some lawyer has given him some new, toned-down talking points.

Same thing with James Comey, Obama’s favorite FBI Director and current teenage drama queen. Comey made one radio appearance and one TV appearance in the few days following the issuance of the Mueller report, along with a couple of his typically weird tweets. But since that last April fool’s joke tweet, nothing. Nada. Radio silence.

I’m sure it’s just coincidence, but that’s exactly what a good defense lawyer would advise Comey to do.  Nothing. Shut up. Be quiet.

What about Andrew McCabe? Just a few months ago, McCabe was all the rage, doing interviews on “60 Minutes”, appearing with the shrews on “The View”, hawking his book and just generally enjoying his post-FBI thug life.

But now? Well, suddenly he’s nowhere to be found. Not a public word out of him in weeks. Why, it’s almost as if he’s lawyered up or something.

Where’s FBI Super-Duper Agent Peter Strzok? Or his paramour, Lisa Page? Man, MSNBC just can’t find a good ex-FBI guest willing to libel the President on live TV these days. No wonder their  and CNN’s ratings are tanking.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of people.

That is all.

Barr Delivers Off-topic Bombshells at Budget Hearing

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Those loud noises you hear are the sounds of American liberal heads exploding. – Despite being the target of a clownish witch hunt of his own, Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu was indirectly elected to serve a record fifth term in that job yesterday in Israel’s parliamentary elections. His conservative Likud Party in fact received its strongest percentage of the vote since the 2003 elections, winning 35 seats in the 120 seat legislature, where it will be able to form an alliance with other conservative parties who together won 30 seats.

All the “experts” had of course predicted that Netanyahu would be brought down by the media-promoted witch hunt in which politically-motivated prosecutors threaten to indict him for allegedly accepting illegal gifts from leaders of other nations and his wife for filing to be reimbursed by the government for the costs of holding state dinners at the couple’s modest home. This kind prosecuturial nonsense was rewarded by voters with a significant shift in favor of Netanyahu and other conservative parties when compared to the results of the country’s previous three elections. Just wait until you hear all the liberal heads exploding here in the U.S. when the same kind of backlash takes place in our country’s own 2020 elections. It will be glorious.

Meanwhile, here in America, the New York Times just kept on faking the news for its demented leftist reader base, declaring these very positive results to be a “setback” for Netanyahu, based not on the actual election results, but by always-inaccurate exit polls conducted by fake news media organizations.  I swear I don’t make this stuff up. Who could?

Do we finally have a real attorney general on the job? – Bob Barr certainly made all the right noises during his testimony before the House Appropriations Committee yesterday.

In what was supposed to be a hearing about his department’s budget for Fiscal Year 2021, Barr was of course repeatedly questioned by craven Democrats who have no interest in actually doing their job about the Mueller report and when he plans to release it. During the course of that off-topic questioning by rank demagogues, the Attorney General delivered a wealth of extremely interesting information:

  • On the Mueller report, he said he would likely be able to release a properly-redacted version of it within the next week, and even hilariously promised to color-code the redactions for Democrats who aren’t capable of reading or thinking above a third-grade level.
  • He spelled out four areas of information he would redact consistent with statutes that have been on the books for decades:  1) grand jury information; 2) information related to U.S. intelligence-gathering; 3) information that could compromise ongoing investigations; and 4) information that could violate the privacy of individuals who were not direct subjects of the Mueller witch hunt.
  • Regarding his four-page summary of the Mueller report that was released two weeks ago, Barr revealed that he offered Mueller the opportunity to review and comment on the summary prior to its release, an offer Mueller refused to accept.
  • Barr told the committee that he anticipates that DOJ Inspector General Micheal Horowitz will finally, at long last, be wrapping up his own investigation into the rampant abuse of the FISA process by the deep state cabal inside his department sometime in May. Yay.

All of that is fine and good, but then came the really big news:

  • The Attorney General informed the committee that he has initiated an investigation into how, why and when the FBI decided to begin a counterintelligence investigation into the Trump Campaign, which we know actually began in late 2015 despite FBI and media lies claiming it only started in July, 2016.

If true – and there is no apparent reason not to take Barr at his word at this point in time – this is a very big deal, because any honest and thorough investigation into that particular subject will inevitably reveal that all of these Obama-era DOJ and FBI officials and their media co-conspirators have been lying to congress, investigators and the public about all of this for two and a half years now.

Further, any honest and thorough investigation into this subject will inevitably ensnare James Comey, Peter Strzok, Andrew McCabe, Lisa Page, Bruce and Nellie Ohr, Sally Yates and even Obama CIA Director John Brennan in its web, in addition to many others. Such an investigation would also inevitably reveal that Attorney General Loretta Lynch was intimately aware of everything that was happening, as well as then-President Barack Hussein Obama, given that every president receives a weekly briefing on U.S. counterintelligence operations.

Sadly, here is what Barr’s revelation also most likely reveals: That Salt Lake City U.S. Attorney John Huber and his staff of hundreds of investigators have most likely not been doing a damn thing on any of this over the last 18 months. It was the fall of 2017 when ex-Attorney General Jeff Sessions used Huber as a lame excuse for his refusal to appoint a second special counsel to look into all of this, claiming then that he had authorized Huber to conduct this exact investigation. Apparently, that was just a dodge by an attorney general who was intent on doing nothing, and did nothing well.

As I said, we have no reason not to take Barr at his word at this point in time, and we can always hope he is not engaging in a Sessions-style dodge now. Hopefully, he won’t give us any reason to start doubting his word in the months to come.

Our nation needs justice here, real justice.  Demands it, in fact.

That is all.

As Senate Repubs Commit Hari-Kari, Trump Drops a Huge Bomb of Transparency

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Ok, so when do we get that study de-linking smoking and lung cancer? – A new study from a bunch of doctors somewhere claims to have proven that there is no link – none at all – between high levels of what your doctor has been calling “bad cholesterol” for the last 40 years or so and heart disease.

That’s right, boys and girls, if you have spent years putting nasty slimy skim milk on your cereal, consuming “cheese” made from soybeans, replacing your beef ribeyes with bland, tough Bison sirloins and pretending to actually like getting your protein from nasty stuff like Tofu and Quinoa, well, you did not need to be doing all of that, at least according to these folks.  Guess I didn’t need to be taking that big Lipitor pill every night for the last six years, either.  Go figure.

Fair warning before you go out and clean your local Kroger out of ribeyes:  We’ll no doubt be getting another study from a different group of doctors showing the exact opposite conclusion within months.  So you might want to limit your lifestyle change to just getting a gallon of whole milk and overdosing on that.

This is the Senate Republicans, committing Hari Kari before your very eyes. – After panicking throughout Sunday and most of the day Monday, Senate Republicans made the very worst decision possible related to the obviously false accusations being levied against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh by leftwing activist Christine Ford.  Not only did the gutless wonders give the Democrats the delay in the Committee process they wanted, they also scheduled a replay of the Clarence Thomas/Anita Hill fiasco for next Monday.

So, assuming the shameless accuser accepts the invite – which she has not done at this point –  Republicans will literally get the worst of all possible worlds out of this:  A delayed nomination, an irreparably tarnished nominee thanks to the heinously biased coverage by our fake news media, and a two-day spectacle in which a bunch of old white guys will be questioning this woman on national television.

Seriously, it’s like Mitch McConnell and Chuck Grassley huddled up and went about figuring out how they could turn this into the perfect recipe for losing control of the Senate in November, and decided to go with that.  Hell, maybe that’s what they deserve.

Meanwhile, over at the White House… – Hey, y’all, President Donald Trump finally, at long last ordered the declassification of a bunch of documents that DOJ has been withholding from various congressional committees for over a year yesterday!  That’s the good news.  The bad news is that the declassification process will be carried out by the still-corrupt Justice Department (DOJ) and the hopefully-less-corrupt Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI).  So who knows how long this will all take.

If carried out honestly, it should happen quickly, because the President’s order is very specific and demands the documents be released in un-redacted form.  Those documents include:

  • 21 pages from the 412 pages of documents related to the FISA warrant application that allowed the FBI/DOJ cabal to spy on Carter Page and the Trump Campaign;
  • all FBI reports on interviews with Justice Department official Bruce Ohr;
  • all FBI reports of interviews prepared in connection with all other applications to surveil Carter Page;
  • all text messages, “without redaction”, from Ohr, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, former FBI Director and current Teenage Drama Queen James Comey and former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.

That’s a good start, a start that should have happened a month ago at the latest, and it will no doubt shed much more light on the disgraceful corruption that was taking place within the Obama DOJ and FBI throughout the 2016 election campaign.  But the list is incomplete, and will still leave some aspects of the massive corruption held secret within the lateral files of the slimy Rod Rosenstein.

Here are a couple of long-stonewalled documents that are not included in the President’s initial declass list:

  • The memo written by Mr. Rosenstein authorizing the creation of the Special Counsel’s office under Robert Mueller;
  • The subsequent Rosenstein memo that expanded the investigatory scope of the Mueller investigation;
  • The FBI 302 files containing the notes of Peter Strzok and other FBI agents present for the January 2017 entrapment interview with General Mike Flynn, including the originals and all subsequent modified versions of it.

The authorizing memos by Rosenstein are crucial because if they were done legally they would a) clearly lay out a scope for Mueller’s investigation, and b) specifically point to some actual crime for him to investigate.  Given that there is no such crime as “collusion” mentioned anywhere in the federal statutes, legal scholars like Alan Dershowitz and Jonathan Turley have raised questions about the investigation’s legality from the very beginning.  Multiple congressional committees have been attempting to obtain these memos for more than a year now.

The 302 files are also crucial because many researchers believe that Strzok and his fellow corrupt FBI agents altered their original notes from the Flynn meeting in order to entrap him into the “lying to the FBI” charge to which he plead guilty.  Many believe that this fact is why Mueller has repeatedly asked the judge in the case to delay sentencing of Flynn over the past 10 months, with the most recent delay being requested and agreed-to just yesterday.

The sentencing has now been delayed to November 28, after the mid-term elections, and right at a full year since Flynn entered his plea.  Perhaps the President just wants to keep these key documents in his hip pocket in the hope that his initial order will spur Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray to go ahead and come clean.  If so, he’s likely to be disappointed.

At any rate, the most hilarious part of the President’s order on Monday was to go out to Twitter and marvel at every liberal fake reporter in the country wailing in protest about all this sudden transparency that was going on.  It is moments like these in which this community of shameless hacks jointly reveal their despicable true nature.

It was all too much for real, actual journalists like Mollie Hemingway to stomach:

But hey, once you accept the fact that all the fake journalists are just Democrat activists with press passes, everything they do begins to make perfect sense.

Just another day in trasparency-hating fake news media America.

That is all.

Did the Whole Russia Collusion Fantasy Game Just Change?

The Evening Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Suddenly, starting over this past weekend, it’s beginning to feel like the tide of national events vis a vis the whole Democrat/Media Russia Collusion fantasy play has begun to turn.  So many key things have taken place since late last week that I’ll probably miss some of them, but I’ll give it a try:

Page Trumps Strzok – It all seems to have started with the closed-door deposition testimony by Super-Duper FBI Agent Peter Strzok’s ex-girlfriend, ex-DOJ lawyer Lisa Page, which took place on July 19-20.  According to GOP Rep. Mark Meadows and others who were present, Page was a far more credible witness than  her spawn of Satan ex-boyfriend, and her version of events differed significantly from the line of BS Strzok spewed during his testimony the previous week.  It’s key to note that no one in the media or the Democrat Party is demanding that the transcript of her testimony be made public.

Another Housecleaning at FBI – Also on July 19 came news that no fewer than three senior cyber-security officials at the FBI were announcing their “retirements” on the same day.  “What a coincidence!”, said the fake news media in unison.

The three “retiring” officials are  Scott Smith, Assistant Director over the FBI’s cyber division; David Resch, the executive assistant director of the Criminal, Cyber, Response and Services Branch; and Carl Ghattas, the executive assistant director of the National Security Branch.  Coming as they do in the wake of President Trump’s summit with Vladimir Putin and all the hysteria over supposed Russian threats to meddle in the mid-term elections, it seems highly unlikely these three departures are actually mere coincidence.  It all smells much more like a house-cleaning, similar to the one we saw during December last year, when Strzok, Page and Bruce Ohr were all demoted within days of one another.

FISA Abuse Exposed – Saturday, July 21, the Big Kahuna dropped, as Judicial Watch, having won a battle in federal court, released 412 pages of documents that form the basis for the FISA warrant and its three subsequent renewals that in turn formed the after-the-fact justification for the FBI/DOJ’s spying efforts on the Trump Campaign, Transition and Administration.  The documents were highly redacted – very predictably – but what wasn’t redacted was extremely revealing, proving that the FBI/DOJ anti-Trump cabal relied almost solely on the Fusion GPS fake Trump Dossier as its basis for defrauding the FISA Court and obtaining the warrant.

Trump Tweets – Meanwhile, President Trump himself was very busy on Twitter, and in thinking about the following tweets, it’s key to keep in mind that Trump knows everything that really happened, who did what, and has known all of this most likely since before he took office.  Here are some tweets that really stand out to me in this context:

Mind you, these first two tweets were issued before Judicial Watch dropped the FISA documents.  The key to me is the final sentence of the 2nd tweet:  “Republicans better get smart fast and expose what they are doing!”  The President doesn’t just burp these tweets out for no reason, and that sure seems like foreshadowing to me.

Then, after the Judicial Watch document dump, the President repeated the same theme in another pair of tweets:

“Republicans must get tough now.  An illegal Scam!”  More foreshadowing.

Some in congress are listening – Later on Sunday  morning, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte appeared on Fox News and made it clear to host Maria Bartiromo that he had heard the President’s message.  In that interview, Chairman Goodlatte “discusses John Brennan, James Comey, and Loretta Lynch being sought for questioning on their actions during the 2016 Presidential Election; as well as compliance responses from Peter Strzok, Rod Rosenstein and Lisa Page.”

An Uproar From The Amen Chorus – Throughout the last week, the cacophony of anti-Trump screeds coming from the Obama loyalist Amen Chorus has grown increasingly shrill.  This includes not just former officials in the Obama Administration, but their media collaborators as well.  With the Page testimony not going as they had hoped and the release of the FISA fraud documents, they all can now clearly see the walls beginning to close in.  The lashing out is a sign of desperation.

The desperation became even more clear on Monday, July 23, when Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ announcement that President Trump was considering revoking the security clearances of Brennan, Comey, Clapper, Rice, Hayden and McCabe elicited an audible gasp from the assembled preening peacocks-and-hens of the White House press corps.  Speaker Paul Ryan, himself an incurable creature of the DC Swamp, laughed the President’s threat off as a “trolling” exercise, but none of the six targets and their supporters in the fake news media were laughing at what was a clear signal from the White House that the game is about to change.

Hey, Mr. Speaker, if you want an example of a Trump Troll, here’s a hilarious (and true) one from earlier today:

Hey, Somebody Woke Up Sessions! – Finally, while the President’s “Republicans must get tough now” message was in part meant for Republicans in congress like Goodlatte, it also was likely a signal to Attorney General Jeff Sessions that it’s time to end his long seeming hibernation from the public eye.  And just like that, there was Sessions earlier today, addressing a high school leadership conference in Washington, DC, joining in with the chant of “lock her up, lock her up!” coming from the crowd.

Now, that could just be a coincidence, but have you ever, in the 17 months since he took office, seen AG Sessions participate in that kind of targeting at the Pantsuit Princess?  No?  Neither have I.

Look, all of the stuff I’ve laid out here could be just a grand, if highly unlikely, coincidence of events all pointing in the same direction.  But I don’t believe in coincidences and neither should you.

This sure feels like a turning to me.  The next few weeks could be a ton of fun.

That is all.

If Sessions and Horowitz really do have an end game, it’s time to get to it

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Hollywood continues its slow death spiral.  – Actress Scarlett Johansson became the latest victim in the left’s war on women on Friday, and hardly anyone noticed.  Johansson had been cast to play a transgender character in a film tentatively titled “Rub and Tug” which had been lined up to begin filming in 2019.  In taking the role, Johansson would have added her name to a long list of heterosexual actors who have played such roles in movies.

But the radical left LGBTQ movement decided to make an example of Johansson, taking to social media to protest the fact that the role had not been awarded to an actual transgender person.  The answer why is obvious to any thinking person:  Ms. Johansson is a name celebrity whose presence in the film would help ensure it would be profitable.  This is not exactly rocket science – it’s how the movie business works.

Without a name actress who would draw crowds to theaters in the role, it is in fact unlikely the movie will even be made.  But the activists would rather kill he film than see this extremely leftist actress get the role.

So how far are the activists willing to take this particular principle?  Will they demand the recasting of the role of the gay character Cam Tucker in the sitcom “Modern Family,” which has been hilariously played by heterosexual actor Eric Stonestreet since 2009?  And will they ultimately, for authenticy’s sake, demand that all hetero roles be played by non-gay actors?  If not, why not, other than the obvious answer that it would mean that certain prominent closeted actors would never work again?

While transgender actors complain that they can’t even get auditions to play heterosexual roles, killing film projects like this one seems like a pretty poor way of increasing their chances.  In announcing her withdrawal from the role, Ms. Johansson said “According to GLAAD, LGBTQ+ characters dropped 40% in 2017 from the previous year, with no representation of trans characters in any major studio release.”  Gosh, I wonder why?

How does Rod Rosenstein still have his job, Part 9,453. –   Infamous girlfriend of FBI Super Duper Agent and apparent disciple of Satan Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, was grilled behind closed doors in a deposition by the House Judiciary Committee on Friday.  Apparently, she offered up Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein as one of her sacrifices, at least if this tweet from Congressman Mark Meadows is accurate:

Back story:  On January 4, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes reached an agreement that DOJ and the FBI would provide seven witnesses in the coming weeks to testify before Nunes’ Committee.  Of course, Rosenstein also laughably committed in this deal to provide the Intel Committee access to “all” documents relevant to its investigation, a commitment on which the Deputy AG has continued to stonewall.

Well, it turns out that Rosenstein also had no intention of providing the agreed-to witnesses, at least if Meadows’ tweet is accurate.  Which is no surprise, given that Rosenstein’s strategy all along has obviously been to keep the congressional investigations at bay until the mid-term elections have come and gone in the hopes that the Democrats will win control of the House, allowing Democrat committee chairmen to kill the investigations entirely.  Which they will do, make no mistake about it.

Meanwhile, reports cropped up again on Friday that Meadows and fellow Freedom Caucus leader Jim Jordan are leading an effort to submit impeachment filings on Rosenstein as soon as next week.  If such an effort had the buy-in from Speaker Paul Ryan it would be meaningful, but without Ryan’s support and commitment to whip the vote in its favor, it’s just one more futile gesture by members of the feckless and toothless Republican House majority.

You could see in their body language and facial expressions during their recent testimonies before the House Judiciary Committee that both Rosenstein and Strzok believe they are above the law and completely safe from any punitive action related to their behavior.

There are two competing bodies of thought that would explain these two apparently bad actors’ behavior and attitudes:

  1. Rosenstein has been working diligently behind the scenes with AG Jeff Sessions and DOJ IG Michael Horowitz to get at the truth – with Strzok as a cooperating witness who has been given immunity – and are planning to unleash hell at the real bad actors once the final Horowitz report becomes public, all with President Trump’s full knowledge and cooperation; or
  2. Rosenstein and Strzok know that Sessions is hopelessly corrupt or compromised and will never take any action against them, meaning this ongoing farce will just continue for another 2 or 6 years, until a new president can come into office and cover it all up.

I have wanted to believe scenario #1 above, and have even bought into it in some instances because it has seemed to make sense.  But the longer this all lingers on and the more of Rosenstein’s stonewalling and outright deception become publicly revealed, the less probable that first line of thought appears to become.

The news on Thursday that Strzok still has his FBI security clearances in place two weeks after Sessions publicly claimed they had been revoked doesn’t help much, either.

The bottom line is this:  If Sessions, Rosenstein, Horowitz and President Trump truly have been executing some grand Machiavellian scheme to ultimately bring all the Obama-era bad actors to justice, they’d better get to the end game very quickly.  Because if you’re in danger of losing people like me, you’re in danger of losing everything.

Just another day in this crap has gone on long enough America.

That is all.

While Pelosi Dodders, House GOP Leaders Dither

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Hey, remember when Democrats pretended to thing “ageism” was a bad thing?  Yeah, not any more.  – San Fran Nan, the 78 year-old leader of the Democrat minority in the U.S. House of Representatives, finds herself increasingly under bigoted attack over her advanced age from her opposition these days.  The hilarious thing about it, though, is that Ms. Pelosi’s “opposition” these days comes not from any right-wing forces, but from her fellow Democrats in the House.

Turns out the youngsters in the Democrat caucus are growing more than a tad frustrated over the lock on power exercised for more than a decade now by Pelosi and her fellow House Democrat leaders, Stenny Hoyer and James Clyburn, both of whom are also well into their late ’70s.  The latest dig at the Party’s retirement home leadership came on Wednesday from 50 year-old California Rep. Linda Sanchez, who was quoted as saying she wants to be part of a transition to a new set of Party leaders.

“I think it’s time for that generational change,” Sanchez told reporters Wednesday. “I want to be part of that transition, because I don’t intend to stay in Congress until I’m in my 70s.”  Yikes.

The Democrat plan had been to a) win back control of the House this fall; b) let Pelosi then serve one more 2-year stint as speaker; c) retain control of the House in 2020, allowing the then-80 year-old Pelosi to go out on top; and d) turn over the speakership to New York Rep. Joe Crowley, who would be a comparatively very young 59 years of age.  But of course, the 28 year-old socialist community organizer Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez threw a monkey wrench into those gears a few weeks ago by defeating the hapless Crowley in the party’s primary.

So, with no clear plan of succession, a political equation that increasingly looks as if the plan to retake the House is just another fake media-fed pipe dream, and a Minority Leader who can’t remember the name of the Senate Majority Leader she’s worked with for more than 30 years, frustration among the “younger” set in the Democrat caucus is closing in on the boiling point.  And there it will most likely remain following this year’s mid-term elections, since the Democrats are well along their way in the process of blowing their best chance in years to regain one lever of federal power by re-taking the House.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of people.

Speaking of ineffectual members of congress, it’s not just limited to those on the Democrat side of the aisle.  A group of GOP leaders in the House have now spent so many weeks whining on Twitter about the stonewalling of their various committee investigations by the FBI and DOJ that they are now in danger of being remembered as little than a collection of boys who cried wolf.

Those leading Republicans are:

  • House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte
  • House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy
  • House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes
  • House Freedom Caucus  co-Founder Jim Jordan

These gentlemen – all of whom are deserving of much respect from conservatives – have spent months now issuing subpoenas for documents, demanding witness appearances and setting deadlines that are never met while threatening to take punitive action, and then doing nothing when Rod Rosenstein and Christopher Wray inevitably give them the proverbial finger.

It was three weeks ago now that these guys – supposedly with the sign-off from Speaker Paul Ryan – threatened to pursue contempt and even impeachment action against Rosenstein if their document requests weren’t met in 7 days.  That 7-day deadline came and went – as have a long series of such deadlines since last fall – and the House has done exactly nothing in response.

The latest kerfuffle from these guys came on Wednesday, when the ex-lover of FBI Super Duper Agent Peter Strzok, former DOJ lawyer Lisa Page, simply ignored a subpoena from Goodlatte to come before his committee to offer sworn testimony over her role in the DOJ’s efforts to fix the 2016 elections in favor of Hillary Clinton.

Chairman Goodlatte and Rep. Jordan immediately took to their Twitter accounts in response:

Well, yes, and?  What?  With all due respect, gentlemen, what are you going to do?  Is this it?  At long last, has the majority party in the U.S. House of Representatives become so de-fanged, so timid under its milquetoast establishment leadership that its only recourse to open defiance of its authority by deep state officials is to issue petulant tweets?  If it wanted to, the Judiciary Committee could hold Page in contempt and send the Capitol Police to her home to place her under arrest.  Why not do that?

But given that Jordan, just a few days after going after Rosenstein in a public hearing, found himself the target of one of the most blatant deep state hit jobs in modern history, maybe this is it.  After all, the most obvious intent of going after Jordan with un-provable – and un-disprovable – allegations that he ignored sexual improprieties by a long-dead wrestling team doctor while serving as an assistant coach at Ohio State University decades ago is to intimidate Jordan and anyone else thinking about going after Rosenstein and his fellow thugs at DOJ.

If that’s the strategy, it seems to be working.

Just another day the deep state isn’t going away quietly America.

That is all.

Evening Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

I expected to be moderately disappointed today, but instead am feeling pleasantly surprised.  This IG Report is actually quite devastating for the FBI, which is exactly what it should be.  Michael Horowitz has done his job admirably.

First, a little house-cleaning…

  • Most, if not all of the mainstream, fake media organizations are rushing to get their clickbait “BREAKING” reports out based on reading the report’s Executive Summary only.  That summary is written in a way to intentionally soften the media reaction to the report, and feed the fake media’s confirmation bias that this thing is no big deal.  So the reporting we’re seeing from those outlets so far is very predictable. Great work, DOJ!
  • It seems, at least on the surface, that Comey’s going to be given a pass on his role in all of this.  Based on what I’ve read so far, I don’t expect a criminal referral related to him, despite all the “insubordinate” behavior he engaged in on Hillary’s behalf.
  • There are no criminal referrals in this report – there were never going to be.  Those come later, if there are going to be any.  Remember the Andrew McCabe report a couple of months back?  That one had no criminal referrals in it, either.  Horowitz issued a referral to Sessions on McCabe later on the same day the report was released, but that was very fast for a reason – they were working to get McCabe out of the FBI by the next Monday, and the report was released on a Friday.
  • There are, however, internal disciplinary referrals on 5 FBI employees contained in the report, including on Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.  Strzok specifically has been referred to the internal Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) for further internal investigation.
  • There also may never be any criminal referrals at all related to this specific report.  As I pointed out this morning, we have to remember that, despite the huge size of this 500 page report, its scope is very limited – only to the conduct of its fake investigation into the Clinton email scandal.  We have to remember that fake investigation did not involve criminal activity like defrauding the FISA courts or illegal unmaskings or faking 302 reports.  Those were related to operation Crossfire Hurricane and other DOJ/FBI shenanigans that are the subject of Horowitz’s pending, final report.
  • So the focus of the report is on the internal process followed, and violations of FBI protocols, because that’s what this particular investigation was focused on.

There.  Clear as mud?

Now, what this report does a great job of is setting the stage for the next report, which will be the climax of Horowitz’s work.  It’s like Act I  of a three act play.

Here is the scene it sets:

  • The FBI in 2016 was a place in which Horowitz documents “numerous FBI employees, at all levels of the organization” – including some senior ones – accepting bribes against agency policy from multiple news media outlets.  Meals, golf outings, sports tickets, you name it, these people were getting it from their favored leak recipients.
  • The FBI in 2016 was a place that leaked like a sieve to those very same media outlets.
  • The FBI in 2016 was a place run by long-time associates and fans of Hillary Clinton.  Comey has known her for 20 years, Page and Strzok worshipped her, Andy McCabe’s wife was taking gobs of money from her former bagman, Terry McAuliffe while McCabe himself was helping fix the agency’s fake investigation into her email “problem.”
  • The FBI in 2016 was a place at which the outcome of an “investigation” would be determined months in advance of even interviewing the suspect or her senior staffers, a place where the final report of an investigation was already drafted months prior to said intervews.
  • Even worse, the FBI in 2016 was a place where the senior agent running the fake investigation was aware that many of Clinton’s emails had been intercepted by foreign governments, and did his best to cover up that fact.
  • The FBI in 2016 was a place where a stunning revelation that more than 600,000 of Clinton’s emails, including many containing classified and secret information, were found on the PC of the disgusting pedophile husband of Clinton’s longtime companion, and that revelation would go completely unaddressed in any way for more than a month.
  • The FBI in 2016 was a place in which the Director made decisions vitally important to the well-being of a nation of 315 million people base on his certainty that Hillary Clinton was going to ultimately win the election.
  • The FBI in 2016 was a place in which the Director, his chief counsel and the deputy chief of the counterintelligence division all used their personal GMail accounts to conduct official business and transmit and receive classified information.
  • The FBI in 2016 was a place in which that deputy chief of counterintelligence, which asked by his mistress to assure her that Trump couldn’t win the election, replied “No.  We’ll stop it”.

All of this and no doubt much more is clearly laid out in this Horowitz report.  There will be much more revealed as everyone has a chance to comb through it over the next 24 hours.

This is a picture of an agency – supposedly the nation’s premier law-enforcement agency – that was out of control, overwhelmingly biased and utterly corrupt.  That is a devastating picture.

End of Act I

That is all.

Horowitz Report Drops Today – Teen Drama Queens Prepping Their Defense

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

[Note:  The wonderful photoshop that accompanies this piece was constructed by a loyal Campaign Update reader who asked to be credited only as  dagalas.]

Hey, y’all, so far this week, President Donald Trump has gotten the Democrats and the fake news media to endorse:

– War games
– Nuclear weapons
– Refusing to negotiate with despots (where were they when Obama did that Iran deal?)
– Neverending war on the Korean peninsula

And it’s only Thursday morning!

PSA: Those loud noises you are hearing right now are just the sounds of liberal heads exploding…. – Two Norwegian lawmakers formally nominated President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize on Wednesday.  The two are of course described as “right-leaning” members of Norway’s “Progress Party, which advocates for limited immigration and shrinking the size of government.”  Gosh, such radical ideas, wanting to preserve your country’s native culture and holding down the size of government.  If we didn’t have biased, stupid media, we would have no media at all in America.

And speaking of biased, stupid, fake news media…

“Ok, the President had a really great summit in Singapore, sadly.  So, here’s what we do:  ABC, you go with the fake report about Michael Cohen turning on Trump.  CBS, you toss out the false report about Sarah Sanders resigning.  CNN, well, you have the porn star franchise, so get on it!” –  Seriously, it’s like clockwork:  Any time President Donald Trump (I still never tire of typing those three words) has a domestic or international triumph, all the fake news media outlets start pumping out fake news stories designed to distract attention.

If that seems like a coordinated plan to you, that’s because it is a coordinated plan.  This is what your fake news media is in today’s world:  They aren’t “news” organizations, they are propaganda arms of the Democrat Party.  It’s been this way for quite some time now – at least since 1992, but really since shortly following World War II.

It’s become more amplified since November 2016 because the people at the top of these organizations are increasingly desperate.  With every successive act of #Winning, President Trump reveals the DC “Establishment” – mainly Democrats but also a raft of disloyal Republicans – to be a decades-long utter fraud perpetrated on the American people.  Tuesday’s election results, in which a challenger loyal to the President – Katie Arrington – knocked off longtime DC swamp creature Mark Sanford in South Carolina in a very surprising upset, only served to heighten the fake media’s panic.

And guess what?  Today is the day the next report from DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz drops.  Just imagine the frenzied flood of freakin’ news-fakery we are about to be treated to in the wake of that document going public at 3:00 ET this afternoon.  It will be glorious.

Several readers have asked this week what we should expect from this next Horowitz report.  My only honest answer is, hell if I know.  There are reasons to be concerned about what it might – or more likely, might not – contain, and reasons to be optimistic about it.

First, it is key to remember that the scope of this report is limited:  It only covers the DOJ/FBI conduct of its blatantly fake investigation into the Clinton email scandal, an investigation that we already know was little more than a desperate coverup designed to keep Barack Obama’s favored candidate from going to federal prison.  Horowitz is still working on a more comprehensive, subsequent report whose scope is far broader and will cover all of the DOJ/FBI efforts to fix the 2016 election and spy on the Trump Campaign, transition team and administration.

The main reason to be concerned about today’s report is that Horowitz has no doubt been placed under massive pressure internally at DOJ to mealy-mouth his findings.  We’ve already seen one report that the report will find ex-FBI Director and current teenage drama queen James Comey to have been “insubordinate”, but probably will not find him to have committed any crimes.  If that account – based of course on anonymous sources only – is accurate, then this report is a major fraud given that we already know beyond any shadow of a doubt that Comey has committed multiple perjuries before congressional committees and illegally leaked classified information to the New York Times.

So, right off the bat, we will have that barometer to inform us conclusively on the relative usefulness of this report.

The next big concern is how much of the report will be redacted.  We must remember that bad actors like Rod Rosenstein have had their greasy fingers all over this report for the past three weeks as it has gone through its review process.  Under Rosenstein’s incredibly corrupt leadership, DOJ has become notorious for redacting vast passages of documents under claims to be protecting national security, only to have it revealed later that the redacted information was merely embarrassing to the Department.  If Rosenstein has had his way with this report, we can expect that less than half of it will actually be open for public review.

But there are also reasons for optimism that this report will at least move the ball forward towards cleaning up some of the DOJ corruption and getting the process of perp-walking and prosecuting the key bad actors underway:

  • Horowitz himself has already agreed to testify before the House Oversight Committee next Monday, and that testimony will be offered under oath and threat of prosecution for perjury.  If he has been forced to make inaccurate changes to his report and the Republican members of that committee have the presence of mind to ask the right questions (we know the Democrats will only try to cover things up) then we can expect Horowitz to offer honest answers.  Or we can hope he will, anyway.
  • Horowitz is considered by most everyone to be one of the good guys, for good reason.  Yes, he served during the Obama Administration, but he was constantly engaged in fights with Obama’s corrupt attorneys general, who did everything they could to deny him the right to conduct his oversight responsibilities.
  • Then there’s the fact that, as noted above, this report has been circulating within DOJ for three weeks and also reportedly shared with the congressional “Gang of 8” – which includes notorious hacks like Dianne Feinstein and Adam Schiff – and none of it has been leaked to the press.  You can be damn sure if the original text of this report exonerated James Comey or Andrew McCabe or Peter Strzok or Lisa Page or any of the other bad actors within the FBI and DOJ, that news would have long ago appeared in the New York Times or Washington Post.  The fact that that has not happened gives us cause to hope that Horowitz has done his job.

A word of caution:  Reports like this are never fully satisfying to anyone.  Regardless of how hard Horowitz might have tried, it is literally impossible to fully keep political motivations out of any 500 page report produced in Washington, DC.

It is also very likely that those of us hoping for full justice will be initially mislead by what might seem to be inconclusive findings or mealy-mouthed language in the report, only to find out later that it is in fact extremely damaging to the subject.  It’s key to remember that Horowitz himself is not the prosecutor here:  His job is to simply lay out the facts, though he does have the power to make criminal referrals if he so chooses.

Once the report is out, the job of prosecuting the bad actors falls to the relevant U.S. attorney.  So, while you might initially be disappointed by language that, say, finds “insubordination” or “ignoring of departmental rules” by a James Comey or Andrew McCabe, we may discover later on that a prosecuting attorney finds that to be evidence of criminal conduct.

Bottom line:  I don’t know what’s in this report yet, but we’ll all have a pretty good idea by about 5:00 this afternoon.  Stay tuned.

Just another day on the poop is about to hit the fan America.

That is all.

The FBI’s Deep State Cabal Continues to Unravel, One Slimey Thread at a Time

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Yeah, that?  That’s a terrible idea.  But let’s go ahead and do it anyway. – Not one, but two of the dumbest decisions in American history were announced yesterday by completely unrelated businesses, and amazingly, neither of those businesses was named Starbucks.

First, the dimwits who run the Miss America Pageant, which literally began in the 1920s as nothing but a swimsuit competition designed to keep tourists in Atlantic City for a week past Labor Day, announced they would be cancelling the pageant’s… wait for it…swimsuit competition!

Thus ensuring that, in about 5 years, we won’t have the Miss America Pageant to kick around anymore.  Adios!

Second, the people at IHOP – aka, the International House of Pancakes – one of the most iconic breakfast houses in American history, have come up with the genius idea of changing the acronym to “IHOB.”  The catch is that they aren’t telling anybody what the “B” stands for until next Monday, but hey, just guessing here, it might just stand for “Breakfast” since that’s what the chain specializes in.

Thus ensuring that we won’t have IHOP to kick around anymore after Monday, and probably won’t have IHOB to kick around anymore in about 5 years from now.

Who makes decisions like this?  Seriously.

Ok, Bill, tell us something we don’t already know. – The FBI’s Chief of Counterintelligence, Bill Priestap, spent 8 hours testifying behind closed doors to a joint meeting of the House Judiciary and House Oversight Committees about his role and the role of others in the FBI’s sham investigation of the Pantsuit Princess’s email scandal.

While others involved the fake investigation have either lost their jobs (James Comey, Andrew McCabe, James Baker, Lisa Page) or been demoted and reassigned since last November (Peter Strzok, Bruce Ohr), Priestap has conspicuously remained in his job, where he served as Super Duper Agent Peter Strzok’s direct boss.  This has lead to much speculation that he has long been a cooperating witness for ongoing DOJ investigations being conducted by Inspector General Michael Horowitz and U.S. Attorney John Huber.

The most interesting part about Priestap’s 8 hours on the stand, as far as the public knows, is that none of his testimony has yet been leaked to the New York Times or the Washington Post.  We can be absolutely certain sure that if anything Priestap said was positive for the Democrats or the Fainting Felon it would have already appeared in stories by both of those newspapers.

The only leak as of this writing comes from Catherine Herridge at Fox News, who reported late yesterday that a “source” said Priestap testified that Strzok’s role in the FBI’s shenanigans was even more extensive than we already know, which, given that we already know that he was involved in literally every.  damn.  thing. hardly seems possible.  But there you are.

Priestap’s long-awaited testimony appears to be one step in setting the stage for the release of Horowitz’s also long-awaited report on the fake email investigation and other Coughing Crook-related matters that the FBI chose to cover up during the Obama years.  Interestingly, a second such step took place yesterday afternoon…

Life sure does come at you fast, huh Andy? – Hey, remember when ex-Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe assured everyone that he hadn’t ever done anything wrong late last year?  And remember when he threatened to sue President Trump for slander?  And remember when he threatened to take everybody down with him if he was fired before his pension was fully vested?  And remember when he got fired and wrote that scathing op/ed for the Washington Post claiming he had done nothing wrong and it was all such a huge injustice?  And remember how he did that Gofundme campaign and got a bunch of idiotic suckers to give him half a million dollars for his legal defense fund?  And remember how several Democrat members of congress offered to give him jobs so he could be employed long enough to fully earn his pension?

Yeah…good times…good times.

Late yesterday, this very same Andrew McCabe had his high-paid lawyer send a letter to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley begging for immunity from criminal prosecution in exchange for testimony before the Committee.  Funny how all that bravado and unbridled hubris starts to disappear as the wheels of justice roll inexorably in these folks’ direction.

Just a note about that IG report… – If you’re feeling frustrated at the constant delays in getting this report released, trust me, you have plenty of company.  Including me.

But here’s the way to look at this:  The people who are the subjects of the IG investigation and still working within the FBI and DOJ have now had this report in-hand for almost three weeks.  Sean Hannity was reporting that yesterday as if it is something unusual, but it is in fact standard operating procedure:  Any current employee accused of wrongdoing by the IG is given an opportunity to respond and offer exculpatory evidence before these reports are made public.

But in those three weeks, not a word of this report has been leaked to the fake news media.  Given the number of bad actors within the DOJ and FBI who are subjects of this investigation, you can be sure that if anything in this report was positive for their case, it would have already appeared in the aforementioned house organs for the Deep State.

This report is not going to be everything you want it to be – reports of investigations like this never are.  But it’s obviously not everything the Deep State wants it to be either, because if it was we’d already know about it.

Remember the old proverb:  “The wheels of justice turn slowly, but they grind exceedingly fine.”

Just another day in the unraveling deep state America.

That is all.

Grassley Schedules Hearing; Horowitz Report About to Drop

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

This was inevitable. – Roseanne Barr self-destructed on Tuesday, sending out a racist tweet targeting Barack Obama’s loathsome toady Valerie Jarrett, which resulted in her show being cancelled by the end of the day by Disney’s CEO Bob Iger.  Some of you have inquired over the last several weeks about why I haven’t said much of anything about the great success of Roseanne’s TV show revival, in which her character is a fan of President Trump.  Now you know.

Look, I never cared for Roseanne Barr to begin with and pretty much never watched her show when it was in its first run.  I found her to be personally repugnant, none of the characters on the show to be especially appealing or sympathetic, and the show itself to be inappropriate for the kids.  Why would things be any different 25 years later?

Plus, Roseanne herself is crazy, and some episode in which she personally imploded was frankly inevitable.  No one should ever hang their hat on some nutty celebrity – the same goes for Kanye West, who has been famously complimentary of the President in recent weeks as well.  He’s also a nut, and a personal implosion is pretty much inevitably in his future as well.

And please don’t respond to this with all these moral equivalency statements.  Yes, I know all sorts of leftist celebrities and fake news media personalities have made all sorts of racist and homophobic statements and tweets, and none of them get fired.  I don’t care – it’s how the media/entertainment complex double standard works.  If celebrities like Barr and Kanye don’t like it and can’t control their mouths then they shouldn’t engage in it.

Roseanne needed firing – I dislike Disney as much as anyone, but Iger really had no choice in the matter.  And all the people out there in social media trying to mount a campaign to get Fox to pick up the show are idiots.  Neither Fox nor anyone else would touch Roseanne with a 100-foot pole right now.

Roseanne is done – her only choice now is to do a Mel Gibson, disappear for about 5 years, and hope everyone forgets.  Sadly for her, they won’t.

Expect the Horowitz Report later this week. – Why?  Because Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley took the action late yesterday to schedule a June 5 hearing of his committee to examine the findings in the DOJ Inespector General’s report on the department’s fake investigation into the Pantsuit Princess email scandal and other Clinton-related matters.  No called witnesses are listed on the notice, but we can assume Horowitz will be one of them.

This obviously means that Grassley expects the report to be made public prior to that time, which makes sense given that it has been circulating within DOJ for almost three weeks now.  We should probably expect to see it late Friday.

Just as a reminder, this report ostensibly deals only with the Fainting Felon’s email abuse and the Comey-led, rigged investigation conducted by the FBI and DOJ.  It will also cover other related matters, whatever they might be.  It is not supposed to touch on all the rampant FISA abuse, the Uranium One scandal, the “Crossfire Hurricane” effort to spy on the Trump campaign and transition team, the illegal unmaskings, and all the other Obama-era process abuses at DOJ, FBI and the CIA, among others.

Those myriad abuses by the Obama Administration will be addressed in a subsequent IG report, which will hopefully come before the end of the century.  Ok, just kidding – it’s supposed to come sometime this summer.

But here’s the thing about that subsequent report:  the content of the report we are about to see will give us a very usable preview of what to expect in the next report.  If this upcoming report from the IG is just an effort to whitewash the whole thing and give Comey/Strzok/Page/Ohr/Baker/Priestap and others at FBI and DOJ a pass, the we can expect the subsequent report to do the same, and quit worrying about it all.

But if this IG report on the email scandal is a hard-hitting, no-nonsense report of the sort Mr. Horowitz is famous for – and that his report on Andrew McCabe’s actions certainly was – then we can be optimistic that the final report will be of similar quality.

The anticipation of waiting for this IG report reminds me of what I wrote shortly after Comey made his famous speech on July 6 , 2016 exonerating the Pantsuit Princess at the conclusion of his rigged investigation:

The tragedy of James Comey is one of lost opportunity. He and he alone had a chance – possibly the last chance anyone will ever have if Hillary is elected in November – to demonstrate that one of the foundational principles of the American Experiment still applies.

That foundational principle is that we are a country in which all people are indeed created equal. That this is a country that has no ruling class. That this is a nation of laws, not of men, and that the laws that apply to the lowest among us apply equally to those who attain the highest public status.

James Comey alone could have become a true American hero by showing that this principle still applies in our society. Because he lacked either the character or the courage to do so, he demonstrated, perhaps irrevocably, that the opposite is now true in Barack Obama’s fundamentally transformed America. We do now have a ruling class; we are no longer a nation of laws, but a nation of men; the law truly does apply differently to different people depending entirely on their class and political power.

It’s a tragedy, plain and simple.  Nothing else matters or need be said.

Michael Horowitz now has the same opportunity that Comey had almost two years ago – he can be remembered either as the steadfast public servant who, like Admiral Mike Rogers and Representive Devin Nunes, did everything he could to save the Republic, or just another tragic functionary in a hopelessly-corrupted Department of Justice.

Let’s hope he makes the right choice.  I’m not even going to hazard a guess.

Just another day in Michael Horowitz is the man of the hour America.

That is all.

All Deep State Cabal Roads Eventually Lead to Peter Strzok

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

It was a dirty job, but somebody had to do it. – Texas Congressman and former state Appeals Court Justice Louie Gohmert published a devastating criticism of ex-FBI Director Robert Mueller on Tuesday.  Those of you who still believe that the Witch Hunter in Chief is some sort of sterling individual with an unassailable background of defending truth, justice and the American Way should take half an hour out of your day today and read it.  It will disabuse you forever of those silly notions.

I was already aware of most of the despicable corruption in Mueller’s background, but one item I had not been aware of until reading Gohmert’s piece was the “5 Years Up or Out Policy” he implemented while FBI Director.  This policy required that, “after an FBI employee was in any type of supervisory position for five years, he or she had to either come to Washington to sit at a desk or get out of the FBI.”

This idiotic policy mirrors policies used in the private sector by giant corporations as a means of passively-aggressively keeping their workforce younger and less expensive by encouraging older, more expensive employees to resign or take demotions in place rather than being forced to change job locations.  In practice, corporations see the money saved by forcing younger workers into mid-level management positions before they’re really qualified outweighing the loss of institutional knowledge.

But at the nation’s premier law enforcement agency, this massive loss of experience and institutional knowledge and – perhaps most importantly – historic case knowledge was devastating.  For Mueller, Gohmert speculates that the most satisfying aspect of the policy was that it robbed the agency of more experienced agents who are naturally going to be more likely to question the judgement and authority of senior FBI management.

It also resulted in juvenile delinquents like Super-Duper Agent Peter Strzok and Attorney Lisa Page being thrust into positions that were well above their competence or maturity levels.  This juvenilization of the FBI made it much easier for Barack Obama and Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch and James Comey to come in and utterly corrupt what had become an organization filled with yes-men-and-women.

Again, regardless of your opinion of Mueller, go read the piece.  You’ll be smarter for having done so.

Cause, meet Effect. – Speaking of Super Duper Agent Peter Strzok, here’s a great practical example of how Mueller’s efforts to juvenilize the agency, having thrust this emotional midget (as clearly demonstrated by his 50,000 texts with his mistress) into a senior position in the FBI’s counterintelligence division, rendered the Agency more vulnerable to corruption.

We’ve long known that Strzok was one of the agents who interviewed General Mike Flynn in an effort to entrap him into lying to the FBI; we’ve long known that Strzok was smack-dab in the middle of the sham investigation into Princess Pantsuit’s illegal email server; we’ve long known that he played a role in misleading the FISA court into issuing a warrant to spy on the Trump Campaign; in fact, at pretty much every turn in the scheme to fix the 2016 election and then to force Donald Trump from office, Strzok’s name just keeps turning up.  Yesterday, it got even worse.

In a terrific piece at RealClearInvestigations, Paul Sperry reveals that Super-Duper Agent Strzok was also involved in constructing the daily intelligence briefings for then-President Barack Obama.  But it’s not just that he was involved, but that he was in fact hand-selected by then-CIA Director John Brennan to serve as the intermediary for information flow between Brennan and ex-FBI Director and current Teenage Drama Queen James Comey:

A source close to the House investigation said Brennan himself selected the CIA and FBI analysts who worked on the ICA, and that they included former FBI counterespionage chief Peter Strzok.

“Strzok was the intermediary between Brennan and [former FBI Director James] Comey, and he was one of the authors of the ICA,” according to the source. [emphasis added]

So, what’s the big deal?  The big deal is that Brennan was obviously using the extremely compliant and malleable Strzok to control the information Comey received, and what ultimately got to the President of the United States of America.  Comey’s been running around the country claiming “I don’t know” about all sorts of things that took place under his watch during this period of time, and in many instances those denials are no doubt true because Brennan, through Strzok, made sure he didn’t know.

Brennan’s use of Strzok in this role also potentially resolves this burning question:  Why were Page and ex-FBI General Counsel James Baker jettisoned from their demoted positions a few weeks ago while Strzok has been kept in place?  All three have obviously been serving as cooperating witnesses with the ongoing investigations by DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz and Salt Lake City U.S. Attorney John Huber since last fall – so why were Page and Baker released from their in-house purgatory while Super-Duper Agent Strzok remains sheltered in place?

The answer now seems obvious:  Only Strzok has direct knowledge of the entire information flow on all the DOJ/FBI shenanigans during and following the 2016 campaign, all the way up to the office of the presidency.  So he’s not quite done yet.

The great irony in all of this is that Mueller, the guy whose idiotic policies literally created Super-Duper Agent Peter Strzok, is now running the sham investigation designed to deflect the media’s and public’s attention away from the monster that he himself created.  If you were still wondering why Rod Rosenstein specifically chose Mueller to be his Special Counsel, well, now you know.  Mueller not only knows where all the bodies are buried, he literally created them.

Just another day in all roads lead to Peter Strzok America.

That is all.

Friday Was a Terrible, Awful, Very Bad Day for the Deep State

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Bug-eyed California Congressman Adam Schiff is back and lying like never before. – The former deep state U.S. attorney who is also the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee has gone eerily quiet in the public space in recent weeks, but he penned an op-ed for the New York Times on Friday.  In that piece, he hilariously advises his fellow Democrats running for congress this year to not talk about impeaching the President of the United States should they gain a majority in the House of Representatives.  His reason?  Why, Democrats don’t want to give the public the crazy idea that they’re trying to “nullify an election.”  Which, of course, is exactly what ol’ Bugeyes has been trying to do in his role on the House Intel Committee for the last 16 months.  Breathtaking hypocrisy.

Speaking of breathtaking hypocrites, race-baiting CNN fake host Don Lemon told some other fake journalist who was interviewing him that Kanye West lacks critical thinking skills.  Lemon claimed that his own critical thinking skills – you know, the kind that have led him to determine that an alleged affair with a porn star is a bigger story than record-low unemployment and peace on the Korean peninsula – tell him that President Trump may not be a “racist,” but he is at least “racist-adjacent.”  By the same token, my own critical thinking skills have allowed me to determine that Don Lemon may not be a raging nitwit, but he is at least raging-nitwit-adjacent.

Several very interesting developments related to the whole “Russia Collusion” fantasy play on Friday, so we’ll go through them in order here:

National Security Agency Director Navy Admiral Mike Rogers offically retired, turning over his command to Army General Paul Nakasone.  Rogers, if you remember, has played a key role over the last 20 months in uncovering the rampant abuse of the FISA process at the DOJ and FBI, in their efforts to spy on the Trump Campaign, Trump transition team, and as it is now becoming apparent, the Trump administration.  Rogers is also the official who met with President-elect Trump shortly after the election, alerting him to the fact that his transition team’s offices in Trump Tower had been bugged, prompting the move of the team to another Trump property the next day.

Interestingly, Rogers’ retirement will allow him to testify in any trials of the bad actors at DOJ and the FBI that take place in the future, something he would have not been able to do had he remained in his job.  Possibly just a coincidence, but a potentially very useful one.

Speaking of bad actors at the DOJ and FBI, former FBI General Counsel and former DOJ lawyer Lisa Page officially “resigned” from the positions they’d been demoted to yesterday.  Both are subjects of investigation for possible criminal wrongdoing in all the various campaign-related shenanigans at the DOJ/FBI during 2016 and 2017.

Page, of course, is the texting buddy of FBI super agent Peter Strzok, with whom she reportedly shared more than 50,000 texts over several months in 2016/2017.  She also served as the legal counsel to the very sweaty ex-FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, one of the main fixers in the Clinton email scandal, among other things.

Baker is under investigation for the apparently very common FBI practice of leaking classified information to the news media.  Naturally, upon the announcement of his “retirement”, Baker received this praising tweet from fired ex-FBI Director James Comey, himself a serial leaker of classified information:

Deep state snakes of a feather, peas in a pod and all of that.

The retirements of these two bad actors likely means that they have provided all the information they have provide to Inspector General Michael Horowitz, Utah U.S. Attorney John Huber and their investigative staff.  My belief is that the only reason they weren’t fired outright last winter was because they chose to become cooperating witnesses.  Like Strzok, they’ve rolled over and made deals in exchange for spilling the beans.  Now they get to go home and get their affairs in order while they await possible indictments and trials.  Just an educated guess, but it sure fits the facts as we know them.

Speaking of IG Michael Horowitz, his long-awaited final report of his investigation into all these bad actors appears to have been pushed off yet again, but this may ultimately be a good thing.  Horowitz sent a letter to House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy stating that he was pursuing “new leads” in his investigation of the FBI’s fake investigation into the Clinton email abuse, so Gowdy announced yesterday that he is postponing the date of the IG’s appearance before his committee, which had been planned for May 8.

It may be important to note that the previously-mentioned Andrew McCabe led the FBI’s fake investigation noted above for many months.  Could these “new leads” mean McCabe – who has been oddly silent for the past few weeks after initially lashing out publicly following his firing – has also decided to make a deal with the investigators?  It’s a logical bet.  We’ll see.

Finally (I know this is getting long, but bear with me), Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his merry band of Clinton/Obama hacks had a very, very bad day in federal court on Friday.  They had the misfortune of drawing Federal Judge T.S. Ellis III, a Reagan appointee who has actually read the U.S. Constitution and respects it, as the judge in their case against former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort.

When Mueller’s minions began to argue their case against Manafort, which involves allegations of bank fraud that took place many years before Donald Trump ever announced his intention to run for president, Judge Ellis cut in, saying:

“I don’t see what relation this indictment has with what the special counsel is authorized to investigate,” Ellis said, according to Politico’s Josh Gerstein. “What you really care about is what information Mr. Manafort could give you that would reflect on Mr. Trump or lead to his prosecution or impeachment.”

Ellis further questioned by what authority the Mueller team was even conducting such an investigation to charges wholely-unrelated to any “Russia Collusion,” and demanded that they present him with the authorizing documents from Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein that ostensibly establish their authority.  He gave the hacks two weeks to produce those documents.

This is crucial since Rosenstein himself has refused to produce those same documents to various congressional committees that have made repeated demands to see them.  Rosenstein obviously does not want anyone to know what those authorizing memos contain.

But now a federal judge wants to see them, and a federal judge, unlike congress, has the authority to hold the hacks and Rosenstein himself in contempt of court and toss them into the pokey if they don’t comply.

Oh, my, Mueller and Rosenstein obviously did not see this coming.  Friday, May 18 is going to be a very fun day indeed.

Stay tuned.

Just another day in the conspiracy to take down President Trump is falling apart America.

That is all.

The Evening Campaign Update: A Very Eventful Week in Review

The Evening Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

As always seems to be the case, it’s been a really interesting week in many ways.  Let’s review some of the highlights…

The week began on Saturday with President Trump holding a rally for GOP congressional candidate Rick Saccone, during which he referred quite accurately to California Rep. Maxine Waters as “a low-IQ individual” and called NBC’s “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd a “sleepy sonofabitch.”

In response, every Democrat on the planet called President Trump a racist – which is what they do whenever they want to take a break from calling him Hitler or Putin’s puppet – and Mr. Todd woke up from his 3rd nap of the day.

On the Sunday morning fakenews shows, the fake Indian senator from Massachusetts, Elizabeth “Little Never Shuts Up” Warren refused to concede that maybe, just maybe she should take a DNA test in order to prove her fake Indian heritage, which of course doesn’t exist.  She then also made it very clear that she is running for president in 2020 by denying she is running for president in 2020.

The Pantsuit Princess spent the week humiliating herself in India, causing so much reputational harm to the Democrat Party with her verbal gaffes and pratfalls that even many Democrats were begging her to just shut the hell up already and go away.  The problem is, even when she goes away, she doesn’t go away, as the images below attest:

A picture is worth 1,000 words, as they say, and those pictures travel all over the world in a micro-second.

On Monday, Irish Beto O’Rourke, the former “Rising star” of the Texas Democrat Party, committed political hari-kari before an audience at the SXSW Festival in Austin, coming out forcefully in favor of gun control in a state in which gun rights are not a partisan issue.  Irish Beto got him a standing ovation from the SXSW audience, but he’d get his butt run out little cafes and barbershops in places like Big Spring, Cotulla, Poth and Hico by Republicans and Democrats alike for uttering his anti-gun heresies.

The Democrats recovered somewhat on Tuesday, as their guy, Conor Lamb, defeated Saccone by a scant margin in the special congressional election.  The GOP announced later in the week that it will ask for a recount and an audit of the automated voting machines used in the election, after receiving reports of irregularities from many voters.  But at the moment, the seat appears to belong to Mr. Lamb.

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson got his walking papers via a presidential tweet early Wednesday morning, after having one disagreement too many with his boss.  He’ll be replaced by CIA Director Mike Pompeo, assuming the Republicans can muster up 50 votes to confirm him.  We’ll see.

Also on Wednesday, students all over the country walked out of classrooms and took to the streets to pretend they actually know something about gun control.  The hooky-playing trio below perfectly captured the spirit – and level of actual knowledge – on display at the rallies:

*sigh*

By the way, Democrats want to give 16 year-olds like these – who were likely swallowing Tide pods at parties a month ago – voting rights.  Of course, Democrats would advocate for giving chipmunks and weasels the right to vote if they believed chipmunks and weasels could be as easily brainwashed to reliably vote for Democrats as these kids have been.

Wednesday was a very busy day, and to round it all out, economist Larry Kudlow was named by the President as the replacement for the fired Gary Cohn – a major upgrade – and we found out that the DOJ Office of Professional Responsibility had given AG Jeff Sessions a firing recommendation related to former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, a decision Sessions must make by the end of the day on Sunday.  As I write this on Friday afternoon, Sessions naturally has made no announcement.  We’ll see.

Thursday came, and this happened:

Is any further explanation really necessary?  Nope.

On Friday, thanks to great real journalist Mollie Hemingway, we found out that deep state cabal FBI agent Peter Strzok had a personal relationship with the original judge in the Mike Flynn case, Rudolph Contreras.  Texts between Strzok and his mistress, FBI lawyer Lisa Page, reveal that the two planned to try to exert influence Judge Contreras when they discovered that he had been appointed to serve on the FISA court.

This latest of a series of revelations derived from the Strzok/Page text treasure trove may well explain why Judge Contreras was hastily removed from the Flynn case in early December, after Contreras had accepted Flynn’s guilty plea for lying to the FBI.  Of course, we now know that Flynn was not really guilty of that crime, but pleaded as he did because Robert Mueller and team of inquisitioners were driving him into bankruptcy and threatening his family.  Hopefully, that great injustice will be corrected soon.

Liberal lawyer Alan Dershowitz called on the Democrat Party to fire Deputy DNC Chairman Keith Ellison for his lying about his close ties to the despicable anti-Semite Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan.  Dershowitz also said that any Democrat congress member who has associated with Farrakhan should resign their office.

Dershowitz’s demands were unsurprisingly met with stony silence from every Democrat on earth and the fake news media outlets that serve as the Democrat Party’s propaganda wing.

Some things never change.

That is all.

That OPR Recommendation On Andrew McCabe Sure Is Interesting

The Evening Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

So, Andrew McCabe might be fired after all.  That, at least, is the decision Attorney General Jeff Sessions is suddenly faced with, six days before the swamp skunk McCabe is scheduled to retire with full benefits on March 20.

The stated reason the DOJ Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) gives for its recommendation to AG Sessions is that McCabe improperly leaked information related to the 2016 FBI investigation into the Hillary Clinton e-mail scandal on multiple occasions.  This finding was made by Inspector General Michael Horowitz during his 14 month-long investigation into FBI/DOJ wrongdoing.

Here’s the irony in this situation:  the OPR report accusing McCabe of leaking to the media was made public today through…wait for it… leaks to the media.  What in the world are we to make of that?  Let’s face it, it’s not like the OPR has to this point been right on top of all the bad actors in this DOJ anti-Trump cabal that has been in action since mid-2016.  Where is the OPR report on Peter Strzok?  On Lisa Page?  On Bruce Ohr?  Any of the other already-identified bad actors?

So, why do we suddenly see this particular action on this particular day? I see three possibilities:

  1. The OPR is full of bad actors itself, and is trying put Sessions in a situation in which he has two options, either one of which will generate media controversy.  I’d rule this one out, because what’s a little media controversy to Jeff Sessions or the Trump Administration at this point?  I mean, who really cares?;
  2. Horowitz is clearing the playing field for the pending release of his report by starting to roll out a series of administrative recommendations based on his findings to discipline bad actors; or
  3. This is an isolated situation, and the OPR is simply acting in the normal course of business on the only recommendation it has thus far received from IG Horowitz.

Wait.  There is a fourth possibility, which is that McCabe was originally escorted from the premises in February but not technically fired as a way of giving him a carrot to cooperate with the IG’s investigation and other DOJ investigations into various Obama-era scandals that we know to be ongoing.  In this scenario, he is now facing the likelihood of termination – and loss of retirement benefits – because he has refused to become a cooperating witness.  Today’s leak to the media would be designed to put further pressure on him to cooperate.

Also in this scenario, we haven’t seen any similar firing recommendations on Strzok, Page, Ohr or others because they are cooperating with those investigations.

Occam’s Razor would dictate that Option 3 is most likely to be true, because it is, at least on the surface, the simplest explanation.  But when you think below the surface, that doesn’t really explain why it is that bad actors who have been publicly identified by the AG and IG themselves – Strzok, Page and Ohr – remain employed at DOJ and the FBI, though in “reassigned” positions, and have had no similar OPR report against them leaked to the press.

The only two scenarios that take all of that into account are Option 2 and Option 4.  Just for fun, I’ll go with number 4.  We’ll know for sure soon enough.

That is all.

Jeff Sessions Dropped a Bomb – Hardly Anyone Noticed

The Evening Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

I’ve been traveling this week, so I just noticed this myself this afternoon.  In an interview with Fox New’s Shannon Bream Wednesday night, Attorney General Jeff Sessions dropped a bomb when, after asked about allegations that officials within the FBI and the DOJ had violated the FISA process in order to spy on the Trump Campaign, he said the following:

“I have appointed a person outside of Washington, many years in the Department of Justice (DOJ), to look at all the allegations that the House Judiciary Committee members sent to us; and we’re conducting that investigation.”

Wait, what?  When did that happen?  Why all the secrecy?  What is this person’s name?  What else might the person be looking at?  Here are some thoughts on what the answers to those questions might be.

First, you have to look at this from Sessions’ point of view:  He leads the DOJ, and thus the FBI as well.  Having his own DOJ lawyers investigate the FBI and DOJ anti-Trump cabal’s abuses would present a clear conflict of interest, as I pointed out last week.

My bet is that he took this action after he became aware of potential FISA abuses shortly after he assumed office in March of last year.  At that point, during his first briefing with DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz, he would have been made aware of the IG’s investigation into the FISA and other related matters, and thus would have become aware that he had a set of truly bad actors in his midst.  That is likely something Sessions already suspected, since it had become obvious during his confirmation hearing that he had personally been under illegal surveillance, but a briefing from Horowitz would have confirmed that reality.

Sessions would not have wanted to formally appoint a special counsel at that time, because that is a very public act, one which requires the public identification of the person who was being named.  Remember also that, at that time, Horowitz’s own investigation had only been up and running for a few months, meaning that some of the bad actors we know about today had not yet been identified, or had cases fully developed against them.

Formally appointing a special counsel at that time would have given all of these people the chance to either flee, cover their tracks, or even lawyer up before cases could have been fully developed.  Remember that we have only begun to publicly find out people like Strzok, Ohr, Page, McCabe and Baker since the first of  December.  Remember also that the disciplinary actions taken against them have been designed to keep them close and controlled.

It is also very interesting to note that none of these and others who have been identified as bad actors have been quoted in the press at all.  This is in direct contrast to James Comey, who went around leaking and singing like a jaybird for a few months after President Trump fired his sorry butt, and who is about to release a book next month.

This silence by the other bad actors most likely means one of two things:  Either these people have lawyered up and are keeping quiet to protect themselves in preparation for being prosecuted, or they are actually cooperating with Horowitz and Sessions’ unnamed outside lawyer in their ongoing investigations.

The quote from Mr. Sessions is a clever reference to the fact that he has had an outside prosecutor working on all of this stuff for quite some time now.  It is also most likely another move to set the stage for the impending release of IG Horowitz’s own report.  Unlike Horowitz, this unidentified special prosecutor would have the power to convene a grand jury – and may have already done so – and quickly begin issuing subpoenas based on the recommendations contain in the Horowitz report.

Thus, Sessions next statement from the interview:

I am well aware we have a responsibility to insure the integrity of the FISA process. We’re not afraid to look at that. The inspector general — some think that our inspector general is not very strong; but he has almost 500 [employees], most of which are lawyers and prosecutors; and they are looking at the FISA process. We must make sure that it’s done properly, and we’re going to do that. And I’ll consider their request.

He’ll not only consider their request, he’s had a special prosecutor preparing the playing field for quick action on those requests for months now.

Clever.  Boom.

That is all.

The Road Goes On Forever And The Fake News Never Ends

  • The road goes on forever, and the fake news never ends (with apologies to the great Robert Earl Keen) – After 10,000 texts between FBI Agent Peter Strzok  and his lover, Justice Dept. lawyer Lisa Page, were made public, the three national broadcast networks very predictably disgraced themselves with their fake coverage of the matter.  But then, it would have been actual news had they behaved otherwise, and these networks are not in the business of making or covering real news anymore.
  • None of the networks mentioned the two federal employees were engaged in an extra-marital affair, and none mentioned the most disturbing message of all, the one Strzok sent to Page reading, “I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy’s office – that there’s no way he [Trump]  gets elected – but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk. It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40…”
  • Wait, what?  The “Andy” to whom they’re referring is obviously FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, but what is this “insurance policy” the two apparently discussed with McCabe, a policy that would presumably undermine Trump should he ultimately win the election?  No one at any of the three networks had the curiosity to ask, much less report on that key question.
  • Nor did any of the networks cover the later exchange that begins with Page texting, “maybe you’re meant to stay where you are because you’re meant to protect the country from that menace,” to which Strzok – who apparently thinks he is the FBI’s version of Batman – replies, “I can protect our country at many levels”, presumably referring to whatever secret “insurance policy” had been hatched in the office of Andrew McCabe.
  • All of which probably adds up to the real reason why McCabe suddenly decided to cancel his long-scheduled Tuesday appearance before the House Judiciary Committee at the last minute – he may need time to coordinate with the DNC and the fake media on a set of talking points about this “insurance policy”.
  • But the 20 million or so Americans who for some inexplicable reason still get their “news” from ABC, NBC and CBS all went to bed blissfully unaware of any of this, which, of course, was the networks’ collective goal.
  • Elsewhere, fake host Anderson Cooper and the PR hacks at CNN had to scramble to come up with an explanation for a highly-inflammatory tweet that was sent out from Cooper’s Twitter feed early Wednesday morning.  After President Donald Trump tweeted that “The reason I originally endorsed Luther Strange (and his numbers went up mightily), is that I said Roy Moore will not be able to win the General Election. I was right!”, the Cooper account quickly came back with  “Oh Really? You endorsed him you tool! Pathetic loser.”
  • Cooper then went into panic mode, first tweeting that he  “just woke up to find out someone gained access to my twitter account. i have not sent a tweet in days or replied to any tweets. We are looking into how this happened.”
  • CNN officials, already seeing what little credibility they had remaining – which, let’s face it, wasn’t much – swirling down the Anderson Cooper toilet, later issued an absurd explanation that said that “His assistant inadvertently left his phone unlocked and unattended at the gym early this morning, and someone took his phone and sent the tweet.”  Which of course is ridiculously and hilariously false.
  • Either Cooper sent the tweet or his assistant sent it in a fit of pique.  That’s the only rational scenario that would explain this.  But rather than just admit that, apologize for the incident, and move on, CNN wants you to believe that some random guy at the assistant’s “gym” picked up the phone, somehow realized he could shoot a tweet from Cooper’s Twitter account, paged through the news to figure out what he wanted to tweet about, and then sent that inflammatory tweet, all while the assistant was working out or whatever he was doing at his “gym.”
  • The main thing this proves is that whomever it was at CNN that came up with this cock and bull story has no future whatsoever writing scripts for James Bond movies.

Just another day in the fake news never ends America.

That is all.
