Monday News Roundup: The Whole World Runs on Democrat Scams

Fun Energy Fact for Today. – Most of the electricity you use to charge your electric vehicle – the overwhelming preponderance of it, in fact – is generated by burning fossil fuels. Like, 80% of it, and most of the remaining 20% is generated by nuclear power plants.

That’s the inconvenient truth about EVs that EV makers and proponents don’t like to talk about. More than 9 times out of ten, those cute charging stations taking up the best parking spaces at your local Whole Foods get their power from the local power grid, and more than 9 times out of 10, your local power grid gets its electricity from sources that are not called wind or solar. In fact, I’m aware of one Whole Foods that actually has a generator that burns diesel fuel to produce electricity for its charging stations, a setup that is actually quite common.

Watch this clip to the end and you will see your typical EV proponent bragging about the cars and how “clean energy” is used to charge them, and see her humiliated on camera when she is forced to admit that the electricity used at her local charging station is generated by … wait for it … burning coal:

You seriously could never make these people up. Don’t even try.

Speaking of scams, let’s do a Global Church of Climate Change Scam update. – Just in case you are among the many who continue to buy into those computer model-based climate change projections of 8-10 degree temperature rise by the end of this century if we don’t all follow Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and her Green New Deal off the economic cliff, here’s a reminder of what the climate change alarmists were telling world leaders 17 years ago in 2004:

Here’s an excerpt from that UK Guardian story from February, 2004:

Climate change over the next 20 years could result in a global catastrophe costing millions of lives in wars and natural disasters..
A secret report, suppressed by US defence chiefs and obtained by The Observer, warns that major European cities will be sunk beneath rising seas as Britain is plunged into a ‘Siberian’ climate by 2020. Nuclear conflict, mega-droughts, famine and widespread rioting will erupt across the world.

The document predicts that abrupt climate change could bring the planet to the edge of anarchy as countries develop a nuclear threat to defend and secure dwindling food, water and energy supplies. The threat to global stability vastly eclipses that of terrorism, say the few experts privy to its contents.

‘Disruption and conflict will be endemic features of life,’ concludes the Pentagon analysis. ‘Once again, warfare would define human life.’

The findings will prove humiliating to the Bush administration, which has repeatedly denied that climate change even exists. Experts said that they will also make unsettling reading for a President who has insisted national defence is a priority.

Climate change ‘should be elevated beyond a scientific debate to a US national security concern’, say the authors, Peter Schwartz, CIA consultant and former head of planning at Royal Dutch/Shell Group, and Doug Randall of the California-based Global Business Network.

An imminent scenario of catastrophic climate change is ‘plausible and would challenge United States national security in ways that should be considered immediately’, they conclude. As early as next year widespread flooding by a rise in sea levels will create major upheaval for millions.

[End]

Now, food is not “dwindling” – it is in fact far more abundant today than it was in 2004. Water is not “dwindling” – it remains abundant all over the globe as human ingenuity advances and allows us to source drinking water from brackish and salt water supplies. Energy is not “dwindling” – it is in fact so vastly more abundant today than in 2004 that the real-dollar cost of all forms of energy has been dramatically reduced. And no, Britain has not turned into an island version of Siberia. The authors of this report were wrong – simply, plainly, factually wrong – in every respect.

Note that despite the fact that literally none of what this report projected 17 years ago has in fact come about, it has been used as the basis for all manner of policy decisions costing trillions upon trillions of dollars. Note also that your newly-installed sock puppet in the White House just did what the report recommended, elevating the matter “beyond a scientific debate” – which has never really taken place since alarmists know they cannot win a debate on the subject – and making it a “US national security concern” in one of his many executive orders issued thus far. Thus elevated, that order will now be used as justification for thousands more policy decisions that will cost us many trillions more dollars in the years to come.

So, despite being wrong about everything, the Global Church of Climate Change continues to advance for the simple reason that each and every “solution” advanced by its proponents fits neatly into the globalist/socialist political agenda.

It’s been a scam from Day 1, the most magnificent and massive scam ever perpetrated by human beings.

Your weekly reminder why Florida Governor Ron DeSantis should be the GOP’s 2024 presidential nominee:

He just runs circles around Texas Gov. Gregg Abbott. The Swampy GOP will try to force Nikki Haley on you in 2024, because Nikki Haley is a card-carrying member of the Big Swamp Club. Don’t let them do that to you. With authentic conservatives like Gov. DeSantis and South Dakota Gov. Christi Noem available, there is no reason at all to let the Swamp saddle you with another globalist loser.

Today’s Biden Administration “Unity” Moment:

Just so you know they never for one second meant it. They hate you and would much rather you were dead.

Union leaders betrayed their members yet again in 2020. – It is a sad fact of the trade union movement in America that union members have quite often been completely misled and betrayed by their leadership. Corrupt union leaders climb into bed with corrupt politicians – almost always Democrats – larding their campaigns up with money forcibly collected from members in return for false promises that are pretty much never fulfilled.

This cycle of deception and corruption has been the main feature of union life for more than a century now, and the 2020 elections proved that it is in no danger of stopping despite the inroads Donald Trump made with blue-collar union workers in 2016. Today, the Daily Caller has a story detailing the fact that members of the Teamsters and other unions who had already entered into contracts to work in high-paying jobs on the Keystone XL Pipeline are angry that Joe Biden kept his campaign promise to kill that project.

Here’s an excerpt from that story:

Several trade unions that endorsed President Joe Biden during the campaign, condemned his executive order revoking the federal government’s permit for the Keystone XL Pipeline.

President Joe Biden revoked the March 2019 federal permit given to TC Energy Corporation, the company constructing the pipeline, in a Jan. 20 executive order on “protecting public health and the environment.” The pipeline has been criticized by organizations like the Natural Resources Defense Council for being harmful to the environment but applauded by groups like the American Petroleum Institute (API) and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for creating union jobs.

“The Keystone XL Pipeline has been through more than 10 years of extensive environmental reviews, and today’s announcement is a slap in the face to the thousands of union workers who are already a part of this safe and sustainable project,” API President and CEO Mike Sommers said in a statement following Biden’s signing of the executive order.

TC Energy signed the Keystone XL Pipeline’s project labor agreement (PLA) with four labor unions in August, promising the creation of 42,000 “family-sustaining jobs” in the U.S. and $2 billion in total earnings for the workers.

The labor unions that signed the PLA were the Laborers International Union of North America (LiUNA), the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) and the United Association of Union Plumbers and Pipefitters (UA). All four labor unions endorsed Biden’s presidential campaign.

The National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation (NRTW) announced Monday it would offer free legal aid to union workers who lost their job due to the order and whose union endorsed Biden.

“Workers should not be forced to financially support union bosses who use workers’ money to back candidates willing to destroy their jobs with the stroke of a pen,” Mark Mix, president of the NRTW, said in a statement.

[End]

Mr, Mix is certainly right, but that is how pretty much every trade union in America has worked for the last century and more. It’s all a big club, and while the union leaders are members in that club, the union rank and file members who finance the whole scam certainly are not. Somehow, the workers have never been able to figure that out, even though the scam is completely transparent to everyone else.

Union members voted overwhelmingly for China Joe, and China Joe will make them pay. Four years from now, they will all no doubt repeat this painful cycle all over again.

Mindless.

That is all.

Tuesday News Roundup: Kyrsten Sinema Might Save the Republic; NYTimes Goes Low on Pipelines

Fun Energy Fact of the Day. – Amy Harder at Axios reported yesterday that “Oil, natural gas and coal accounted for 81% of the world’s energy consumption in 1990. Thirty years later — in 2020 — that figure dropped to 80%, mainly because of the pandemic, according to the International Energy Agency.”

Remember also that that unchanged percentage comes after many trillions of dollars have been invested in capital and subsidies for wind and solar development globally.

Axios didn’t report this, but it is a reality that, 30 years from now, in 2050, most truly scholarly projections on global energy consumption see that percentage remaining largely unchanged. Though wind, solar and other alternative energy sources will continue to be subsidized with more and more trillions, they won’t be scalable enough to account for just the growth in energy demand over the next 30 years, much less start to displace the role fossil fuels and nuclear will continue to play in the world’s energy supply.

That’s reality. What you see in the corrupt news media and coming from politicians and the Global Church of Climate Change every day is fantasy.

This concludes your Fun Energy Fact of the Day.

Why bother cancelling the Keystone XL Pipeline when you can just blow it up? – That’s the question recently advocated by The New York Times. Not kidding.

To advance that idea, the Times recently provided its readers with a glowing review of a book titled “HOW TO BLOW UP A PIPELINE” by someone named Andreas Malm. I swear I do not make this stuff – who could?

Here’s an excerpt from that book review:

“To say that the signals have fallen on the deaf ears of the ruling classes of this world would be an understatement. If these classes ever had any senses, they have lost them all,” writes Malm, a Swedish professor of human ecology and climate change activist, in his compelling but frustrating treatise.

A proportionate and rational response, Malm argues, should be to target fossil fuel infrastructure: Destroy fences around a power plant; occupy pipeline routes, as protesters did for the Keystone XL and Dakota Access pipelines; at coal mines or similar sites, set up climate camps, which Malm believes are effective as laboratories for activism and for shutting things down by putting bodies on the line.

He also advocates powerfully against despair and powerlessness. One of the most satisfying parts of his book comes when he brutally dispatches with “climate fatalists” like Jonathan Franzen, who argue that we should all just give up. “Climate fatalism is for those on top,” Malm writes. “Its sole contribution is spoilage.”

So Malm wants us to fight back (though I should add that there aren’t any actual instructions here about how to blow anything up).

[End]

Don’t blow me up, folks, I’m just the messenger.

Every time you get to thinking our corrupt, Nazi-style news media could not possibly get any worse than it already is, they go and prove you wrong.

Democrat definition of “Unity”: “You shut up and conform to my way of thinking.”

*sigh*

In Texas, this is what we call a smelly fresh load of horse manure:

Speaking of things you just could not ever make up if it wasn’t already reality… – Check this out:

That’s right: Anthony Fauci, the little menace to American society who has outright admitted to repeatedly lying to the American people in order to manipulate their behavior and government policy throughout this COVID-19 pandemic, is in fact the single most highly-compensated employee of the federal government.

From the story at JustTheNews.com:

Germs pay.

Dr. Anthony Fauci made $417,608 in 2019, according to Open the Books, a government watchdog group.

The annual salary for Fauci, director of the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Disease, makes the highest paid doctor in the federal government and the highest paid out of all 4 million federal employees,” Forbes reported.

In fact, Fauci’s salary is more than the president of the United States’ annual $400,000 pay.

Fauci, now President Biden’s chief medical adviser, will make $2.5 million if he keeps his government job through 2024, which marks the end of the administration’s first term. The projected income does not factor in raises.

Forbes also reports Fauci made $3.6 million from 2010 to 2019. Since 2014, His pay increased from $335,000 to the current $417,608.

[End]

Holy crap.

Can Kyrsten Sinema save the Republic? – I know that sounds like just the most absurd question you’ve ever seen posed in your entire life, but bear with me here.

As we all know, one of the main goals of the radical left that forms the vast majority of the Democrat voter base now is to eliminate the senate filibuster, a move they consider to be the key facilitator to allow the passage of their full Marxist/fascist agenda into law. With a 50/50 split in Senate membership, the end of the filibuster would mean that Kamala Harris could provide the tie-breaking votes on all manner of radical legislation designed to destroy the very fabric of our nation and turn it into the collective utopia the deranged nitwits on the left have always dreamed of.

Flaccid West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin has already said he does not support ending the filibuster, but we have seen so many times that he holds no firm positions that Chuck Schumer cannot bully him into changing. Besides, a single Democrat dissenter can easily be offset by a RINO tag-team consisting of Mitt Romney, Susan Collins or Lisa Murkowski on any given issue. Thus, Manchin’s tenuous posturing becomes essentially meaningless.

But yesterday, Manchin got himself a dancing partner in the Senior Senator from Arizona, Sen. Sinema. When the hacks at the Washington Post inquired about the Senator’s position on the filibuster, her spokesperson firmly replied “Kyrsten is against eliminating the filibuster, and she is not open to changing her mind about eliminating the filibuster.”

From a story at The Daily Caller:

Democratic Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema will not support eliminating the filibuster and her mind cannot be changed, according to a spokesperson.

As Democrats now control the House, Senate and White House, there has been discussion about possibly voting to eliminate the filibuster. Abolishing the filibuster would allow any legislation to pass with a simple majority. With Sinema coming out against abolishing the filibuster, it makes it highly unlikely it could happen, as Democratic West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin has also said he will not vote to do so.

“Kyrsten is against eliminating the filibuster, and she is not open to changing her mind about eliminating the filibuster,” a spokesperson for Sinema told the Washington Post on Monday.

[End]

Now, pessimists will no doubt contend that Sinema’s a Democrat, and all Democrat politicians are inveterate liars, a contention this is manifestly true. Democrat politicians have no choice but to lie on most issues since their positions on them have zero basis in truth, data or reality.

But Senator Sinema repeatedly proven to be a different kind of Democrat to some extent, and has become a sort of Tulsi Gabbard of the Senate, a leftwing Democrat who actually still loves the country and holds respect for its institutions, the rarest of rare animals in Washington, DC.

Who knows if Sinema will hold firm on her stance in the face will no doubt be a campaign of threats and intimidation to come from Chuck Schumer and the party’s lunatic leftist base. But this one bears watching and if she does continue to resist pressure, having support from a colleague might help Manchin grow a bit of a spine on the matter as well.

All we can do is hope.

That is all.

The Biden Attacks on the Oil Industry Have Only Just Begun

For the energy business, the Biden pain has only just begun. – China Joe Potato Head Biden, who has been wrong on every energy-related issue since the Carter Administration’s hilariously failed price control efforts of the 1970s, is taking a lot of heat from formerly powerful Democrat constituencies this week over his rash and illogical decision to cancel the Keystone XL pipeline project’s cross-border permit.

Biden’s action was of course taken as a means of payback to the powerful climate change lobby whose funding of Democrat political campaigns rivals that of George Soros these days. Sold as a “climate change” measure, the elimination of this pipeline will in fact do absolutely nothing to impact climate change in any way, shape or form. The permit cancellation will, in fact, eliminate $1.7 billion in new investments in renewable energy generation projects that Keystone’s operator, TC Energy, had planned to make in order to make this the nation’s first interstate pipeline to run completely on renewable energy. Overall, this unprecedented act of executive fiat will eliminate $8 billion in capital investments, 10,000 union jobs and more than $2.2 billion in salaries for union workers.

Gosh, hard to see why anyone’s upset, right? Here’s an excerpt from a story at DailyWire:

Josh Senk, general manager of Michels Corporation, slammed Biden during a press conference in Wisconsin, saying, “The recent actions of President Joe Biden, the Executive Order halting the construction of the Keystone pipeline has effected Michels, thousands of union trade members across the country, and hundreds of guys that specifically work in Wisconsin.”

Senk later said that “hundreds of guys” have already been laid off.

The Associated Press noted that local leaders in New Mexico were worried about the impact that Biden’s decision would have on their state and leaders in Utah have asked Biden to reconsider his decision.

“During his inauguration, President Biden spoke about bringing our nation together. Eliminating drilling on public lands will cost thousands of New Mexicans their jobs and destroy what’s left of our state’s economy,” Carlsbad Mayor Dale Janway told the AP. “How does that bring us together? Environmental efforts should be fair and well-researched, not knee-jerk mandates that just hurt an already impoverished state.”

Native American tribes have also reportedly been angered by Biden’s decision to cancel the pipeline.

Multiple unions that endorsed Biden during his presidential campaign—including he Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA) and the United Association of Union Plumbers and Pipefitters—have since slammed Biden for canceling the pipeline.

LIUNA said that the decision would “kill thousands of good-paying UNION jobs!”

“In revoking this permit, the Biden Administration has chosen to listen to the voices of fringe activists instead of union members and the American consumer on Day 1,” Mark McManus, General President of the United Association of Union Plumbers and Pipefitters. “Let me be very clear: When built with union labor by the men and women of the United Association, pipelines like Keystone XL remain the safest and most efficient modes of energy transportation in the world. Sadly, the Biden Administration has now put thousands of union workers out of work. For the average American family, it means energy costs will go up and communities will no longer see the local investments that come with pipeline construction.”

Local media organizations across the country have also reported on the negative impacts that the cancelation of the Keystone pipeline have had on their states.

[End]

As I reported over the weekend, China Joe is also taking a huge amount of heat from Democrat officials and interests in oil producing states in the Mountain West region for invoking his 60-day hold on all permitting actions for oil and gas projects on federal lands. That order also applies to Indian reservations and federal waters in the Gulf of Mexico, angering various Tribes, along with the tens of thousands of Texans and Louisianans and Alabamans and Mississippians and even Floridians whose jobs are tied to the offshore oil and gas industry, which had been booming before China Joe took office.

Here’s the thing about this, folks: China Joe and his elder-abusing handlers are just getting started. A friend sent me the roster of political appointees Biden’s handlers are making to occupy the senior positions at the Department of Interior the other day, and the backgrounds of those appointees reads like a who’s who of the climate change lobby. These people aren’t being appointed to come in and help manage the nation’s energy resources: They are being appointed to come in and eliminate it.

A great example is the Bio of one appointee who is to be an “Advisor, Bureau of Ocean Energy Management.” The BOEM is the bureau at Interior that is tasked with efficiently managing federal lease sales and enforcing federal regulations of them. This woman, one Marissa Knodel, presents the following description of her “qualifications” for this advisory role:

Marissa Knodel is a passionate advocate for climate and environmental justice through a just and equitable transition to a clean energy-based society, and resilient adaptation to a changing climate. As Legislative Counsel with Earthjustice, her area of expertise included federal onshore, offshore, and Arctic oil and gas leasing and regulations. Prior to joining Earthjustice, Marissa managed a campaign at Friends of the Earth to stop new fossil fuel development on federal lands and waters. Marissa holds a dual J.D. and Master of Environmental Management degree from Vermont Law School and the Yale School of the Environment.

For those who do not know, Earthjustice and Friends of the Earth are two of the very most radical and execrable leftist/Marxist anti-development groups on the planet. Note how this “advisor” to BOEM brags about having managed a campaign to kill the offshore mineral development she is supposedly now being tasked to manage.

The full roster of these political appointees can be seen below.

Suffice it to say that, in terms of assaults on this nation’s oil and gas industry from the Biden/Harris Harris/Biden Administration, you ain’t seen nuthin’ yet.

That is all.

Full roster of Interior Appointees:

Sunday News Roundup: Biden Hates Unions and Democrat Governors Suddenly Decide to Reopen

Remember when Democrats claimed to support union jobs? – Well, those days are gone, as the former heavy influence of the unions on Democrats has been completely overwhelmed by the influence and money from the “climate change” lobby. No better proof of that changed dynamic has ever been offered than with Joe Biden’s cancellation of the cross-border permit for the Keystone XL Pipeline last week, an act that will ultimately cost as many as 10,000 union jobs.

But that is far from the only cost of this rash and unprecedented act of executive fiat. From a story at Forbes.com:

The Keystone XL project represents an overall $8 billion investment by TC Energy, the company which owns and operates the Keystone Pipeline System that moves large volumes of crude oil throughout the middle section of the United States and southern Canada. Several hundred miles of the planned 1,200 mile Keystone XL expansion have already been constructed and placed into the ground, including, ironically, the section of the line that crosses the U.S./Canadian border. Upwards of $3 billion of that overall $8 billion investment have already been committed and now represents a sunk cost at the whim of a new President, a very dangerous precedent for any administration to set.

President Biden’s rash decision also puts thousands of union jobs at risk, representing $2.2 billion in lost wages. Keystone XL already employs about 2,000 workers, including members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices, the Teamsters and other major unions. All told, the plan for full construction of Keystone XL would employ as many as 10,000 union workers through its completion.

Barring a successful challenge to Biden’s order, all of those jobs are gone, noted without regret by Buttigeig and his advice that the workers simply seek other employment.

Gone also will be the $1.7 billion TC energy plans to invest in real, actual new clean energy capacity between now and 2030 to provide all of the power the Keystone XL would consume, along with the thousands of direct jobs that investment would produce. According to a TC Energy fact sheet, Indigenous communities along the pipeline’s corridor will also be hard hit: “Indigenous communities lose hundreds of millions of dollars, including more than $1 billion in intergenerational opportunities for equity ownership in KXL that will help them fight poverty and build schools, hospitals, and other essential services.”

Wonder how many Democrat voters knew they were voting for all of that when they cast their ballots for China Joe?

We have a new president now, so all of those Democrat governors who have imposed brutal lockdowns on their people are suddenly figuring out that those were a bad idea. – First it was Andrew Cuomo, who suddenly decided to start reopening his state’s economy now that Donald Trump has been safely disposed of. Now we are seeing a rush of despicable Democrat governors who have killed hundreds of thousands of small businesses and destroyed millions of jobs suddenly deciding to follow suit.

Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker and Michigan Gov. Herr Gretchen Whitmer are the latest lying Democrats to join in the reopening parade.

From a story at DailyWire:

Like clockwork, another Democrat governor who placed severe restrictions on their state has begun easing lockdowns now that President Joe Biden was inaugurated.

The Chicago Sun-Times reported Saturday that Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D-IL) has lifted some coronavirus restrictions in Chicago, allowing restaurants and bars that serve food to reopen for indoor services at 25% capacity.

“Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s health team officially gave the green light Saturday for restaurants and most bars across Chicago and suburban Cook County to invite customers back inside for indoor service,” the outlet reported. “A day after officials said both regions were ‘on track’ for limited reopening, the city and Cook County suburbs saw their coronavirus infection rates improve for a third straight day to officially move from Tier 2 to Tier 1 of the state’s COVID-19 mitigation plan.”

[End]

Here’s an excerpt from a story about Herr Whitmer from the Chicago Tribune:

Michigan restaurants and bars can reopen for indoor dining at 25% capacity and with a 10 p.m. curfew starting Feb. 1, and concessions can resume at casinos, movie theaters and stadiums, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said Friday.

The state health department’s coronavirus restrictions were loosened again amid a continued drop in cases and hospitalizations. They will be effective for three weeks, through Feb. 21.

The Democratic governor announced last week that restaurants would likely be able to serve dine-in customers beginning Feb. 1 after a two-and-a-half month ban.

“While we must remain vigilant and cautious, we can lift some protocols that were previously in place,” she said. “I know this pandemic has hurt our restaurant owners, our restaurant workers and all of their families. I want to thank those that made incredible sacrifices and did their part.”

Health and Human Services Director Robert Gordon’s order limits capacity to 25% — lower than the 50% ceiling that was in effect from June to November — with a maximum of 100 people. Bars and restaurants must close by 10 p.m. and collect customers’ contact information for tracing purposes.

[End]

Thus do these despicable Democrat brutes prove what we’ve known all along: That these lockdowns and social/economic destruction have had literally nothing to do with “science” or “data,” and everything to do with soulless politics. If there were any real justice in the world, all of these Democrat governors would be forced to inject themselves with the virus they have wielded as a political tool and denied health care services to address it.

They are without question the very worst people in the world.

Speaking of the very worst people in the world… – Hey, let’s not leave out the little Menace to American Society, Anthony Fauci, from our list of the very worst people in the world. Fauci, after all, was the enabler of all of the actions these Democrat governors took to destroy the economy and people’s lives for purely political purposes, always faithfully providing them cover with his constantly-shifting narrative related to the China virus.

Fauci was able to execute this task through his constant appearances on CNN and MSNBC, during which the talking head fake journalists invariably lobbed him a series of softball questions vetted in advance. This week, Fauci celebrated the opportunity to be the person designated by the DC Swamp to announce America’s re-joining the World Health Organization, the corrupt international body that enabled the globalization of the China Virus in the first place.

As a poke in the eye to every American who has lost a job, lost a business or suffered with the effects of the virus the WHO helped to deliver to us, Fauci actually “credited the organization for its “relentless” work in fighting the coronavirus during a WHO executive board meeting Thursday.” He also went on to add insult to injury when he “praised the WHO for rallying scientific communities to accelerate the development of vaccines, therapeutics and diagnostics; its regular press briefings; and for providing “vital supplies” to dozens of countries.”

Finally, to give his week of abject mendacity a perfect coda, the Little Menace appeared on MSNBC for about the 1,000th time in the last 10 month and whined to host Rachel Maddow that he had been “blocked” from appearing on her show by the Trump administration:

You could never make these people up if they didn’t already exist. It’s a waste of time to even try.

That is all.

Thursday News Roundup: America Moves Into its Brave New Facist World

Interesting little fact this morning… – Go to your browser’s address bar and type in “www.antifa.com”. As of 5:30 a.m. today Central Time, you would be redirected to “www.whitehouse.gov”.

Weird. But hey, Antifa certainly played a big role in helping to get China Joe Potato Head Biden installed into the White House, so why not?

What Antifa endorses, Antifa destroys. – While that bit of fun symbolism was going on, the Portland, Oregon chapter of Antifa was tossing rocks through the windows of the local Democrat Party headquarters, letting the new party in power know that the terrorist’s group’s support is … ummm …. conditional:

Such a fun bunch of young people.

Speaking of the White House website – it now asks for users to identify their preferred pronouns.

No, really, I swear I do not make this stuff up:

Image may contain: text that says 'PRONOUNS 無血無 -select an item- The Administration -select an item- she/her he/him they/them Other Prefer not to share PHONE' (123) 456-7890 COUNTRY" United States'

Just fyi, my preferred pronouns have been and always will be “Tex” and “Bubba”, but I answer to a variety of cusswords as well.

China Joe just set a new glass ceiling for your school-age girls. – In a flurry of mindless stupidity and mendacity on his first day in office, China Joe Potato Head Biden dutifully performed his job as the designated sock puppet for the DC Swamp, signing a variety of egregious executive orders. As almost an afterthough amid orders to rejoin the worthless Paris Climate Accords and kill the Keystone XL pipeline, our new dementia-ridden POTUS also signed an order that will require schools receiving federal funds to allow biological males to compete in girls’ sports.

No kidding:

Oh, guess what else? All those biological males need only “identify” as female, and will no doubt be allowed to shower with your girls as well.

This is an atrocity. But hey, it’s what you Democrats voted for. Aren’t you proud?

Just in case some of you labor under the illusion that the rank and file in the U.S. armed forces just timidly accept the results of this clearly stolen election, take a look at this view from the Biden motorcade as it proceeded down a Pennsylvania Avenue devoid of ordinary Americans:

Today’s Short-Term Memory Reminder is about Hunter Biden:

Just as a reminder, that crackhead son, who made millions selling U.S. government influence to China while China Joe was Vice President, was allowed to just stand right up there next to Jill Biden as the Big Guy took the oath of office yesterday. Meanwhile, this poor little girl in Arkansas – who will be forced to shower with and compete against boys when she reaches school age thanks to the Big Guy – went to bed with with no father figure in her life.

Unity, my ass.

Required Reading for Today. – Over at DailyWire, Ian Hayworth pens a terrific piece this morning that everyone should spend 5 minutes reading. Hayworth points out the fact that the American electorate rewarded Democrats for holding the nation hostage to brutal COVID edicts, nightly BLM/Antifa riots and destruction of our major cities and previously unthinkable assaults on free speech in 2020, and then asks why anyone would expect the Democrats to ever change?

It’s a great question. Here’s an excerpt from that piece:

In 2020, the Democratic Party applied three strategies with one single objective: to win. These three strategies were hugely — if not irrecoverably — damaging to American society, and were applied with a full understanding of their consequences.

In the end, the Democrats succeeded. Joe Biden will be the president, and the Democratic Party will control the entirety of Congress.

How can we ever expect them to change their tactics when they are clearly so effective?

COVID-19 Lockdowns

When COVID-19 appeared on the international scene in 2020, the Democrat’s quickly recognized it as a political opportunity. “Never waste a crisis,” as the saying goes. Criticism of China’s regime was dismissed as xenophobic, Trump and other Republicans were blamed for every case or death, and Democrat-run cities and states forced businesses to close under draconian lockdowns. Almost overnight, the American economy was intentionally placed on life support and much needed relief was intentionally delayed in Congress, all while Democrat politicians flaunted their own “rules.”

Go read the rest. You’ll be glad you did.

A blue-check dimwit media figure asks the burning question. – Grance Franke-Ruta, a leftist journalist who no doubt voted twice to make communist Democrat Bill de Blasio the Mayor of her city, had a bad experience with her husband trying to get a COVID vaccine shot on Tuesday. So naturally, she did what all leftist dimwits do, and took to Twitter to whine about it.

Here is part of a long thread she posted:

“Why is everything in NYC so badly run?” she asks, obviously without ever taking even a second to step back and examine whether or not her voting decisions might – just might – have something to do with the fact that everything in NYC has gone so horribly wrong in recent years. Meanwhile, the answer to her question is blindingly obvious:

Image

Political leftists are simply incapable of learning. They utterly lack the ability to engage in the introspection necessary to understand that they are in fact the problem, for the simple fact that they have been taught to believe that they are better and smarter than the rest of us.

And so, after four years of Bill de Blasio and all of his epic failings, they go out to the voting booth and re-elect the Big Doofus to screw up their city for four more years, and then act surprised when that happens. Or they watch communist Democrat Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler presides over 100 straight nights of violent riots and go out and vote to re-elect him for four more years. Or they go out and mindlessly vote for an addled lifetime politician who has been in federal office for 47 years and never solved a single problem, and then are shocked to learn that he’s going to make their daughters, granddaughters and great granddaughters take showers with boys who are sporting penises.

Yes, it’s bizarre behavior, but that’s who these people really are. Sadly for the rest of  us, it’s the sort of mindless, bizarre behavior that takes free countries and turns them into fascist prison states that look exactly like Washington, DC looked on inauguration day.

That is all.
