Dems Have a Terrible Debate, So We’re Back to Russia Collusion One More Time

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

In terror the Boy ran toward the village shouting “Wolf! Wolf!” But though the Villagers heard the cry, they did not run to help him as they had before. “He cannot fool us again,” they said. – Aesop’s Fables, from “The Boy Who Cried Wolf.”

It’s like clockwork, folks. – A truly, desperately bad event for the Democrat Party invariably results in a new false narrative coming out of the Party’s toadies in our corrupt news media.

The Party had a disastrous debate on Wednesday, during which everyone beat Mini-Mike Bloomberg to shreds and nobody laid a glove on President Donald Trump, leaving The Commie standing as the clear front-runner, and presto-change-o, we are back to Russia Collusion one more time!

On Thursday, the fake journalists at the corrupt New York Times published yet another narrative-setter piece for their Deep State masters, this one designed to support the Democrat Party’s plan to destroy voter confidence in the 2020 election results in advance. In case you’ve forgotten, the Democrats kicked off this particular plan way back in May of last year, as it became obvious that Quid Pro Joe was too impaired to become the Party’s standard bearer.

On May 6, Nancy Pelosi told reporters that “we cannot accept a second term…for Donald Trump…if we are going to be faithful to our democracy and to the Constitution of the United States. And that is just a fact.” Thus, she was already telegraphing her Party’s intent to destroy faith in the 2020 elections and to refuse to accept their results. That theme has been an ever-present part of Democrat Party/media messaging since that time, and was the main theme in the idiotic impeachment effort that held our country hostage for five long months.

Also participating in this neverending coup d’etat effort is our intelligence community, as we well know. The Times piece in question focuses on a briefing that outgoing Acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Joseph Maguire held on Capitol Hill recently, in which he and a whole passel of his loyal lieutenants informed congress of their belief that – get this – the “Russians” favor President Trump’s re-election over communist Bernie Sanders, and are already working to help Mr. Trump’s cause.

Oh yeah, sure, that’s totally believable. You betcha.

Nowhere in the Times piece will you find a single smidgen of detail about exactly what it is that Maguire claims the “Russians” (why doesn’t he just say it’s the boogeyman instead – it would have equal credibility at this point) are doing to “help” the Trump campaign. That would be because the “Russians” aren’t really doing anything in any organized fashion to do that, outside of the kinds of stuff they have been doing to meddle in our elections for the last 100 years.

The thought that these “Russians” would favor the election of Donald Trump over the eternally grifting Hillary Clinton in 2016 wasn’t absurd enough for these people. Now, we are supposed to believe that they are helping Trump to defeat an out-and-out communist ideologue.

Think about it: Vladimir Putin, more than anyone else on the face of the earth, fully understands the society-destroying impacts of socialist/communist ideology. He lived it. Putin – if our corrupt intelligence agencies are to be believed – wants to destroy and dominate the U.S. and other Western democracies. What better way to achieve that than by helping a freaking communist get elected President of the United States? The whole charade here is an absolute farce.

The opening paragraph of the piece is greatest part of it:

Intelligence officials warned House lawmakers last week that Russia was interfering in the 2020 campaign to try to get President Trump re-elected, five people familiar with the matter said, a disclosure to Congress that angered Mr. Trump, who complained that Democrats would use it against him.

Note the reference to “five people familiar with the matter”, none of whom are of course identified. Did the Times really talk to “five people” who had first-hand knowledge of this briefing? There is no way to know. But saying “five people” rather than “a person” is the Times way of trying to give the piece more credibility.

Then there’s my favorite part, the one about how the “disclosure to Congress that angered Mr. Trump, who complained that Democrats would use it against him.”

Um, doesn’t the very existence of this report in the New York Times clearly demonstrate that the President was right? Didn’t he have every right to be angered that Maguire, a freaking temp in his job, chose to spread this crap as a parting gift to the Administration as he prances out the door, no doubt about to get a big book deal or a contract as a contributor on CNN or MSNBC?

Now, do you understand why the President is intent on putting someone he can actually trust  into the DNI position? What Maguire – and his aide Shelby Pierson, whom the Times claims delivered the report to the members of congress – did is an outright betrayal, an outrage that should be punished by their immediate firings.

But the damage is done, and the Democrat/media narrative is set: Bereft of any other viable alternatives or viable presidential candidates to really challenge President Trump, the Axis of Disinformation goes back to pushing the Russia Collusion BS one more time. They will now poll-test and focus group public reactions to the new narrative, and if they think it has any legs, they will continue to pound it day after day right up until November 3. Because this is what these people do, and this is who they are.

Yes, it’s despicable. Yes, it’s depraved. Yes, it’s disgusting and demented and disloyal to our nation and destructive to our Republic. But, really, after the last four years, did you expect anything else?

That is all.

Congress is a Plague of Liars, Skunks and Eunuchs

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

One problem with the testimony of Acting DNI Joseph Maguire. – Joseph Maguire generally did quite well in refuting the Democrats’ phony scandal-mongering, and made it very clear that he followed the letter of the law throughout the process of reviewing the fake whistleblower complaint he with which was confronted.

Just one problem, though: At several points in response to questions from both Republicans and Democrats, Maguire claimed he was “certain” that the leaks to the press related to the whistleblower situation did not come from “anyone in the IC (Intel Community).” Sorry, but that simply cannot be a true statement. There is no way on earth he or anyone else can be certain that no one in the IC leaked this information or caused it to be leaked, especially now that we know that the fake whistleblower is in fact a CIA agent, which means that some if not all of the people feeding him the largely-false information contained in his complaint were also employees of CIA or other IC agencies.

Granted, we also now know that Bug-Eyed Adam Schiff has had this complaint in his grubby paws since August, so it there can be no doubt that he and his staff have done at least some of the leaking. That’s what those despicable cretins do, after all. But there is simply no way Maguire can possibly be certain that zero leaks of this highly-classified information came from anyone in the IC. He should be forced by the Committee and frankly by the President to revise those remarks for the record.

Yesterday’s revelation about the fake whistleblower’s identity proves conclusively that President Trump has been right yet again with his ongoing complaints that he and his staff continue to be spied upon by the CIA and other IC agencies. At the very least, he should eliminate the ability of anyone from the IC to listen in on his calls with other world leaders. His ability – and the ability of all future presidents – to hold such calls in the future has already been irreparably harmed by the Democrats’ disgraceful behavior over this phony complaint. Getting the spooks off the calls might help to repair at least some of the damage done.

Trump also needs to find a replacement for CIA Director Gina Haspel. Obviously, she’s a worthless hack who, like FBI Director Christopher Wray, has done nothing to clean up her agency and its illegal spying activities. In a perfect world, both agencies would be broken into a million pieces and scattered to the winds, as John F. Kennedy famously threatened to do to the CIA after the Bay of Pigs fiasco 58 years ago. Of course, JFK was conveniently assassinated just two years later, and the CIA’s problem was solved.

The truth about those two agencies is that both have been utterly corrupt institutions since the day of their founding, and that corruption was taken to new heights during the Obama years, culminating in a coordinated effort to spy on an American presidential campaign and then to mount a coup d’etat when their preferred candidate failed to win.

This fake whistleblower complaint by a reported Obama loyalist exists due to the failure to mount any real effort to clean the evil minions out of the CIA. That, of course, is due to the fact that anyone President Trump can get confirmed by the Senate must first be approved by the Senate Intelligence Committee led by deep state skunk Republican Richard Burr of North Carolina. Haspel, a loyal lieutenant to John Brennan during the Obama years, is in that job now because she could be confirmed. Coincidentally, Mr. Maguire is in his job rather than Texas Rep. John Ratcliffe – Trump’s first choice – because Burr gave his nod of approval to Maguire after promising to block Ratcliffe.

Wray is in his job for the same reason.  Are you seeing a pattern here?

The reality here is that the IC remains a collection of corrupt institutions who spy on their own citizens and even their own President not because of Democrats, but because of compromised/corrupt Republican senators like Burr who remain loyal to the deep state instead of the American people.

Damn them all to hell.

About that Adam Schiff soliloquy to start the hearing… – Many Republicans are whining and moaning this morning about Schiff and his statement to begin the hearing in which he completely fabricated what was said on the call between President Trump and Ukraine President Zelensky. Yes, it was despicable, yes it was just another in a long line of treasonous acts by a treasonous Democrat, but why would we expect anything else?

And while we’re all whining and moaning about the fact that the Democrat-toady TV channels are all simply playing Schiff’s latest fabrications without critical comment, why aren’t we demanding to know why not one of the Republicans in that room spoke up and objected while he was doing it?

Devin Nunes, normally a stellar guy, was sitting 6 inches from Schiff throughout that false statement. At least 7 other Republican members of the committee were sitting there as well. Why didn’t any one of them have the presence of mind to raise an objection with the Chair, calling him out for literally making sh*t up? Indeed, Nunes didn’t even say a word about it when he, as the Ranking Member, was the first Republican to question the witness. We were half an hour into the damn hearing before one Republican, Mike Turner of Ohio, finally had the presence of mind to berate Schiff for his act of outright mendacity.

Thus, the reason why your fake news media has that squeaky-clean, uninterrupted video of Schiff making his false statement to brainwash the masses with this morning is that the GOP members of that committee were all sitting there like a bunch of damn eunuchs while he was doing it.

Good lord.

That is all.

Et tu, William Barr?

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Wait. Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were married? – Tongue-wagging pop star Miley Cyrus and movie heartthrob Liam Hemsworth announced they were splitting over the weekend and the big news in all of that for me was that they were actually married in the first place. But here’s the good news, folks – the couple both say they will still remain dedicated parents to their childr…er, pets:

“Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,” a rep for Cyrus told PEOPLE on Saturday. “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”

Good god who cares.

You can judge the quality of a Trump nominee by who his friends aren’t. – Last Thursday, President Trump named his new acting director of ODNI, Counterterrorism Center Director Joseph Maguire. Maguire will assume his new job on August 15, the day that current ODNI Director Dan Coats leaves arm-in-arm with his allegedly-leaky deputy Sue Gordon.

Whenever this President has named a replacement for one of the high-ranking intelligence posts in the past, it has been very easy to tell whether he’s made a good choice or not by looking to see who weighs in to publicly endorse him. If all the Usual Suspects from the Obama years take to Twitter or CNN or MSNBC to give the person a hearty endorsement, you can be sure that person will change nothing for the better.

For example, Christopher Wray’s nomination to lead the FBI was greeted with gleeful endorsements from the likes of John Brennan, James Clapper, Sally Yates and all the other swamp creatures. Just-fired James Comey even had nice things to say about Wray, if memory serves. All of which helps to explain why, more than two years later, the FBI remains a raging dumpster fire of incompetence and duplicity and a roadblock to the declassification of documents related to the Spygate scandal.

On the contrary, when President Trump first named John Ratcliffe to become Coats’s permanent replacement in the ODNI job, the Swamp creatures wasted no time in blasting him, a clear indication that Ratcliffe would have represented a clear and present danger to the destructive status quo that exists within the nation’s firmly-embedded intelligence community.

What is interesting about Maguire is not who has spoken out about him, but who hasn’t. Four days after his naming, and we have yet to hear a peep out of any of the Usual Suspects. Not a word from John Brennan; not a peep out of Comey; not a mumble out of Clapper or Rosenstein or McCabe. Radio silence from the creatures of the swamp.

That lack of endorsement or attack means one of two things: It could mean that the Usual Suspects finally figured out that their messages of public approval of a fellow skunk are really counterproductive. Or it could mean that they aren’t sure whether Maguire represents a friend or a foe. If it’s the former, we’ll find out the hard way soon enough, because ODNI will continue to serve as the same final roadblock to declassification that it has ably and consistently performed under Coats. If it’s the latter, then it’s likely the Usual Suspects are just biding their time to see which way Maguire will jump once he assumes his new job.

Two and a half years into the Trump presidency and we are left with the feeling that uncertainty would at least be progress. Baby steps.

And speaking of declassification… – 83 days have now passed since the President ordered Attorney General William Barr to assume full discretion over the process of declassifying all the documents that his employees at the DOJ and FBI have spent the last three years desperately hiding from the American people.

So what do we have after 83 days? Bupkis. The Bruce Ohr 302s released last week were the result of a court order in a case brought by Judicial Watch – Barr had nothing to do with them.

From Barr and his Department of “Justice”, we have bupkis. Zero. Zilch. Nada.

Over the weekend, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, which also happens to reside under the not-so-watchful eye of the Barr DOJ, did its best imitation of Jack Bauer’s fictional “CTU” from the old TV series “24”, losing its highest-profile prisoner to an alleged “suicide”.

If you ever watched that show, you knew it was a foregone conclusion that any time Keifer Sutherland’s Jack Bauer character arrested a terrorist and brought him into custody at CTU, said terrorist would very quickly either be kidnapped or murdered right under the noses of what was supposed to be the nation’s most elite secret law enforcement unit. I used to guffaw about that every time it happened, but as time as gone on and we have seen the actual Keystone Cops nature of our real law enforcement and intelligence apparatus, I’ve come to realize that CTU was actually very true-to-life.

Mr. Barr has certainly talked a good game since assuming office early this year. But after six full months on the job, talk and lofty promises are all we have to show from his time at DOJ. We still have zero indictments of real wrong-doers, zero perp walks, and even worse, we now have the spectacle of the likes of Andrew McCabe and Peter Strzok having such contempt for the DOJ that they are actually suing to get their old jobs back.

As of right now, Barr’s actual performance record is no better than what we got out of Jeff Sessions, and that ain’t good.

That is all.
