Tuesday News Roundup: New George Floyd Body Cam Video Betrays the Official Narrative

Permits for thee, but not for me. – The Big Doofus strikes again. Communist Democrat Mayor of New York Bill de Blasio famously ordered a giant “Black Lives Matter” mural be painted on the surface of 5th Avenue right in front of Trump Tower. Everyone knew at the time that it was all a publicity stunt by the Big Doofus Mayor, one that did not go through the due process of the city’s government.

Yesterday, de Blasio admitted as much, and said that his office is now being hit with complaints and lawsuits for not rubber stamping similar proposals.

From a report at the New York Post:

The pro-President Trump group Women for America First has sued City Hall for blocking a mural of their slogan “Engaging, Inspiring and Empowering Women to Make a Difference!” on a Manhattan roadway, while allowing multiple BLM paintings throughout the city.

Hizzoner insists he didn’t block the move, just referred groups like Women for America First and the pro-police Blue Lives Matter to the Department of Transportation’s permitting process. But there was no approval required for the BLM movement.

“That is something that again transcends all normal realities because we are at a moment of history when that had to be said and done, that’s a decision I made,” de Blasio said.

“But the normal process continues for anyone who wants to apply,” he added.

[End]

Thus, the city’s taxpayers, who have already been hit with tens of thousands of dollars in costs of painting the BLM mural and re-painting it almost daily after it has been vandalized, will now be hit with the costs of defending at least one lawsuit and very likely many more due to the flippant manner in which the Big Doofus Mayor violated his own laws.

And some wonder why thousands are fleeing this city every week. What’s to wonder?

For those who obsess over polls…. – This happened on Monday:

To be precise, that is 7 points higher than Obama was at the same point in his first term in office. But the corrupt news media expects you to believe that President Trump is trailing a clearly impaired Joe Biden by double digits in the national polling.

Don’t believe them. Everything they say is a lie. Literally everything.

That also holds true about the riots in Portland, which the media has falsely claimed for 70 straight days now are “peaceful protests.” – Thanks to Andy Ngo, a real journalist who puts himself at physical risk every night, we know the truth.

Here’s what happened last night:

The “peaceful” hijinks are not limited to the night-time:

However, there is a bit of semi-positive news here: The deal that DHS made that allows state and local law enforcement to protect the federal courthouse now does appear to be having an impact. The Democrat-sponsored rioters who are coordinating closely with Mayor Ted Wheeler and Governor Kate Brown have lowered the intensity of their efforts to damage that building and are now focusing on destroying other buildings in the city that are not federal property.

By taking this tactic, they are able to support the false media narrative that the federal police were the problem all along. Classic Saul Alinsky tactics.

Speaking of classic Saul Alinsky tactics… – The official narrative about the George Floyd arrest and killing by Minneapolis police was false all along. But then, we already knew that was the case, didn’t we?

The Daily Mail did a public service yesterday by releasing police body cam footage that the Minneapolis police department and city government has withheld from the public for two long months. This footage clearly shows that the official narrative of Floyd being a peaceful guy who did not resist arrest was clearly a lie. Floyd was obviously in a drug-addled state at the time he was pulled over in his car, resisted as the officers attempted to arrest him, and began using his “I can’t breathe” line while he was still sitting in the car.

Here’s the video – WARNING: it is graphic:

While this video will certainly make convicting the police officers of any crime far more difficult for the prosecution, here’s what it doesn’t show: Any reason for killing Floyd by having Derek Chauvin put a knee on his neck for 9 minutes. Someone still must answer for that.

But here’s the thing: It is a fact that about 98% of people – white, black, Asian or otherwise – who wind up being killed by police in this country end up that way largely because they resisted arrest like George Floyd did. The surest way to avoid ending up dead when you are pulled over by a police officer is to cooperate with him or her.

Every video we have seen of this incident now clearly shows an inebriated Floyd fiercely resisting arrest. Why this particular video has been withheld for so long is something the Minneapolis city government must now explain.

Here’s my theory: Note how Floyd, upon recognizing Officer Derek Chauvin, with whom he worked as a security guard at a strip club for years, panics and repeatedly says “Don’t kill me, man. Please don’t kill me.”

Why would Floyd think the police were there to kill him? The official narrative is that he had been pulled over under suspicion of passing forged money. But look at Floyd’s face: He is obviously immediately afraid for his life as soon as he sees who the arresting officers are.

There’s something else going on here that we are not aware of yet. Sooner or later, we will find out what it is.

That is all.

Monday News Roundup: CHAZ Demands, Stelter Pounded, and Truth From the Least Expected Place

SHOCK: Berkeley professor tells the flat-out truth about George Floyd and the riots. – This was referred to me by a friend on Sunday. It’s something you really don’t expect to see, unvarnished truth coming from a professor on the campus of UC Berkeley in a letter to his colleagues. Here’s a short excerpt from it:

I am one of your colleagues at the University of California, Berkeley. I have met you both personally but do not know you closely, and am contacting you anonymously, with apologies. I am worried that writing this email publicly might lead to me losing my job, and likely all future jobs in my field.

In your recent departmental emails you mentioned our pledge to diversity, but I am increasingly alarmed by the absence of diversity of opinion on the topic of the recent protests and our community response to them. In the extended links and resources you provided, I could not find a single instance of substantial counter-argument or alternative narrative to explain the under-representation of black individuals in academia or their over-representation in the criminal justice system. The explanation provided in your documentation, to the near exclusion of all others, is univariate: the problems of the black community are caused by whites, or, when whites are not physically present, by the infiltration of white supremacy and white systemic racism into American brains, souls, and institutions.

Many cogent objections to this thesis have been raised by sober voices, including from within the black community itself, such as Thomas Sowell and Wilfred Reilly. These people are not racists or ‘Uncle Toms’. They are intelligent scholars who reject a narrative that strips black people of agency and systematically externalizes the problems of the black community onto outsiders. Their view is entirely absent from the departmental and UCB-wide communiques.

The claim that the difficulties that the black community faces are entirely causally explained by exogenous factors in the form of white systemic racism, white supremacy, and other forms of white discrimination remains a problematic hypothesis that should be vigorously challenged by historians. Instead, it is being treated as an axiomatic and actionable truth without serious consideration of its profound flaws, or its worrying implication of total black impotence. This hypothesis is transforming our institution and our culture, without any space for dissent outside of a tightly policed, narrow discourse.

[End]

You can and should go read the rest of it at this link. You’ll be better educated for doing so.

Speaking of George Floyd… – The “peaceful protesters” were back out on the streets of New York City on Sunday.:

With “peaceful protesters” like these, who needs Antifa?

Here is a Trump advisor who needs more airtime. – Watch as Trump Campaign legal advisor Jenna Ellis puts CNN’s resident news-faking eunuch Brian Stelter in his place:

The truth hurts, especially when it occasionally shows up on CNN.

Speaking of news-faking eunuchs… – Fox News’s own resident news-faking eunuch, Chris Wallace, took a moment off from hawking his latest ghost-written book to say this on the same subject:

“You see some reporters now who have become advocates — I see it in the press briefings now. You know, I was pretty tough in the press briefings with Ronald Reagan and his press secretaries in the 80s, but we were basically trying to get information. Some of the press briefings now I see the White House press corps — it’s supposed to be one of the top jobs in journalism — it’s more playing gotcha or more just trying to get in arguments and advance their point of view. That’s not what we’re supposed to be doing.”

“I think too many reporters have fallen into the role of being advocates and, frankly with this president, anti-Trump advocates,” Wallace continued, saying that journalists need to be able to stay “neutral” and “call balls and strikes.”

[End]

Of course, he preceded that by parroting Stelter’s complaint that the President’s “attacks” on corrupt media outlets are somehow “outrageous.” Because, in his heart, Chris Wallace is no different from his muck-raking Marxist daddy.

Well, except for New York City, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Austin, Chicago and every other Democrat-run city in America. – House majority whip James Clyburn actually said that “nobody is going to defund the police” in an interview over the weekend.

On the very same day, the New York Times ran an op/ed penned by a Democrat activist titled “Yes, We Mean Literally Abolish the Police.” Just so that no one thinks that the headline might not reflect the piece’s content, here are the first three paragraphs:

Congressional Democrats want to make it easier to identify and prosecute police misconduct; Joe Biden wants to give police departments $300 million. But efforts to solve police violence through liberal reforms like these have failed for nearly a century.

Enough. We can’t reform the police. The only way to diminish police violence is to reduce contact between the public and the police.

There is not a single era in United States history in which the police were not a force of violence against black people. Policing in the South emerged from the slave patrols in the 1700 and 1800s that caught and returned runaway slaves. In the North, the first municipal police departments in the mid-1800s helped quash labor strikes and riots against the rich. Everywhere, they have suppressed marginalized populations to protect the status quo.

[End]

D’oh! Somebody forgot to send the DNC talking points memo to the New York Times.

How about we just declare everyone participating in the CHAZ to be an illegal alien and deport them instead? – This is rich: The Antifa morons occupying Seattle’s Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone demanded on Sunday that the U.S. immediately provide amnesty to the 20 million+ illegal aliens currently in the country. As reported by Breitbart:

Officials for CHAZ also said illegal aliens must be called “undocumented” because “no person is illegal.” The demands include:

We demand that the funding previously used for Seattle Police be redirected into:

A) Socialized Health and Medicine for the City of Seattle.

B) Free public housing, because housing is a right, not a privilege.

C) Public education, to decrease the average class size in city schools and increase teacher salary.

D) Naturalization services for immigrants to the United States living here undocumented. (We demand they be called “undocumented” because no person is illegal.)

E) General community development. Parks, etc.

So, here we have a bunch of people who are literally claiming to have invented their own separate and autonomous country by illegally occupying six square blocks in downtown Seattle, sending out a list of demands to the U.S. government. Seems like the proper approach here would be for the federal government to recognize the CHAZites’ separate, non-U.S. citizenship and deport them to someplace like Venezuela where they would feel more at home and no doubt be treated as they deserve to be treated by the authorities there.

You seriously could never make this stuff up.

That is all.

America Stands on the Cusp of a Second Chance at Reconstruction

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

A new Reuters poll finds that 51% of Republican voters favor “sweeping police reforms,” a finding that no doubt shocks 98% of the national news media, but won’t surprise many Republicans. After all, you just need to review the policing wasteland we have seen all across the nation over the past three weeks – and the heinous police crime that set it all off – to understand the reasons why.

One aspect of the George Floyd murder that received very little coverage from our corrupt news media was the statement made by the local County Attorney early on that it normally takes him over 6 months to bring charges in a criminal case against a police officer. Ordinary citizens enjoy no such luxury: In a case like the one against Derek Chauvin, in which the killer wasn’t even arrested until 4 days had passed, any ordinary citizen would have been charged with at least 2nd degree murder within 24 hours after the act while they were sitting in a jail cell with a 300-lb sex offender alternately named Bubba or Doris, depending on what time of day it was.

In this particular case, due to all the public outrage, the County Attorney got his slow butt in gear and expedited the process. But normally, without all the demonstrations and rioting that took place, Chauvin would have been walking around a free man for 6 months before charges were even brought against him. Why does it take so long to charge a cop? Because of all the special protections police unions negotiate into police contracts during negotiations. In many cities, firing a cop is harder than firing a treasonous Obama operative embedded in the National Security Council. It’s ridiculous.

We’ve lost sight of this now, but Chauvin had had 18 formal complaints filed against him during the course of his police career. EIGHTEEN. Literally everyone in the department knew he was a loose cannon and a bad actor, yet he was still out on the street, free to abuse the people of the community. That’s insanity. Stuff like that has to stop. Unions have their legitimate place, but their place needs to stop being to negotiate nonsense into police contracts that enable this kind of tragedy, which certainly led directly to the killing of George Floyd.

GOP Senator Rand Paul filed a bill yesterday that would outlaw the issuing and execution of “no-knock warrants,” one of which led to the killing of Breonna Taylor, an African-American resident of Louisville, Kentucky who was murdered by 3 Louisville officers while she slept in her bed on March 13. No-knock warrants are a brutish tactic straight out of the Soviet Union or Nazi Germany and have no place in a free society in which the presumption of innocence supposedly underpins our justice system.

This, too, must stop.

Two weeks ago, the Minneapolis City Council passed a resolution outlawing the use of choke holds by police officers and mandating that bystanding officers who observe another officer, like Chauvin, engaging in abusive behavior, intervene to stop it. What idiot doesn’t support a reform like that?

Well, ok, don’t answer that question – we all know there are plenty of idiots on all sides of this issue.

The point here is that, yes, most real conservative thinkers know we need significant police reforms in our country and have needed them for a very long time. There is plenty of common ground to be plowed here by people of good intent. The question, of course, is whether enough people of good intent occupy seats in both houses of congress and in state legislatures around the country to get them done. There is no doubt that President Trump would gladly sign a good bill into law, just as he did with the major prison reform bill last year.

As for the rest of us, we all need to stop just knee-jerking to sloganeering like “I back the blue!,” or “the cops are all racists and murderers!” whenever this subject comes up. It hasn’t been many years ago when we almost universally revered what we were in the habit of calling “first responders” because the truth is that 98% of them are good and brave men and women who do the best they can every day to protect the public.

The problem is that the 2% of them who aren’t present a very clear and present danger to our society, as we have conclusively witnessed over the past three weeks. Leaders of police unions need to understand this, and stop agitating for provisions in police contracts that provide bad actors with  cover to keep abusing the public.

As I wrote on Wednesday, our country has spent the last 150 years paying for the abject failure by our society’s leaders to properly execute Reconstruction following the Civil War. We did not have enough people of good intent serving in leadership positions at that time to get the job done.

What America faces today is a very similar situation – we essentially stand on the cusp of a second chance at reconstruction. The first step in that reconstruction must be to enact reforms that ensure black Americans receive the same level of police protection and courtesy received by white citizens. We have a President who has already gotten very significant reforms accomplished in this area, and solid majorities of voters for both major political parties who support further reforms.

The question will now become whether there are enough GOP members of congress like Rand Paul and enough Democrat members willing to buck the constant overreaching and obstructionism of Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer to get major legislation sent to the President’s desk.

There’s no time like the present to find out.

That is all.

Another Tucker Carlson Opening Monologue Every American Should See

Tucker Carlson’s opening monologue last night was a brilliant exposition of the manner in which our nation’s leaders have used a public health emergency to subvert American democracy. If we don’t all wake up soon – including President Trump and his military leaders – the consequences could become too ingrained to be peacefully reversed.

This is a monologue every American needs to watch and read. Thus, I, your loyal servant, hereby provide the clip of the video, along with a painstakingly-compiled transcript for those of you who still prefer to read stuff.

Video Clip:

Transcript:

Millions of Americans remain subjected to unprecedented restrictions on their personal lives, their daily lives, their family lives. The coronavirus lockdowns continue in many places. You may not know that because it gets no publicity, but it’s true.

If you’re living under it, you definitely know. As a result of this, tens of millions of people are now unemployed. A huge number of them have no prospects of working again. Many thousands of small businesses are closed and will never reopen.

Many Americans have become dependent on drugs and alcohol, seen their marriages dissolved, become clinically depressed. Some of them have delayed their weddings. Others were banned by the government from burying their loved ones and funerals. Some Americans will die of cancer because they couldn’t get cancer screenings. Some unknown number have taken their own lives in despair. Others have flooded to the streets to riot because bottled up rage and frustration take many forms.

The cost of shutting down the United States and denying our citizens desperately needed contact with one another is hard to calculate, but the cost has been staggering. The people responsible for doing all this, they have no regrets about it.  “We faced a global calamity,” they say. “COVID-19 was the worst pandemic since the Spanish flu.”

That flu killed 50 million people.

“We had no choice. We did the right thing.” That’s what they’re telling us. Is it true? The answer to that question matters not just because the truth always matters, but because the credibility of our leaders is at stake here.

This is the biggest decision they made in our lifetimes. They were able to make it, they rule because we let them. Their power comes from us.

So the question now and always is, are they worthy of that power? That’s not a conversation they want to have. And right now, they don’t have to have that conversation because right now, all of us are distracted and mesmerized by the woke revolution underway outside. They created a separate country in Seattle. As we said, we will bring you the latest on that in just a minute.

But we think it’s worth taking a pause to assess whether or not they were, in fact, lying to us about the coronavirus and our response to it. The short answer is this: Yes, they were definitely lying.

As a matter of public health, conclusively, the lockdowns were not necessary. In fact, we can prove that and here’s the most powerful evidence — states that never locked down at all, states, where people were allowed to live like Americans and not cower in indoors alone, in the end, turned out no worse than did states that had mandatory quarantine, the states you probably live in.

The states that did lock down and were quick to reopen have not seen explosions of coronavirus cases. All of this is the opposite of what they said would happen with great confidence.

The media predicted mass death in places of Lake of the Ozark and Ocean City, Maryland — the place where the middle class dares to vacation. But those deaths never happened.

In the end, the Wuhan coronavirus turned out to be a dangerous disease but a manageable disease like so many others. Far more dangerous were the lockdowns themselves.

For example, in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Massachusetts — panicked and incompetent governors forced nursing homes to accept infected coronavirus patients. And as a result, many thousands died and they died needlessly. This is all a remarkable story but its going almost entirely uncovered.

The media would rather tell you why you need to hate your neighbor for the color of his skin. The media definitely don’t want to revisit what they were saying just a few weeks ago, whend they were acting as press agents for power-drunk Democratic politicians. Back then, news anchors were ordering you to stop asking questions and obey.

[Plays montage of CNN/MSNBC anchors lying about the Wuhan Virus]

Boy, that montage was the opposite of a Mensa meeting. Has that much dumbness been captured on tape, ever? The last clip you saw was from May 25. That was just over two weeks ago. “98,000 people are dead! How dare you leave your house?” If you don’t work in the media, you’re not essential.

But it didn’t take long for that message to change completely. In fact, it took precisely 5 days.

[Plays another montage of Don Lemon being an idiot, which he does quite well.]

Yeah, “don’t judge, this is how this country was started, by looting CVS and setting fire to Wendy’s. You took American history. You knew that!”

[Plays another montage of Chris Cuomo.]

One minute they were mass murderers for going outside. Now they are Sam Adams. They are patriots, they are American heroes.

If all of this seems like a pretty abrupt pivot, fret not. Rioting is not a health risk – as long as it helps the Democratic Party’s prospects in the November election, rioting will not spread the coronavirus.

Sounds implausible, but we can be certain of that because last week hundreds of self-described public health officials signed a letter saying something. They announced that the Black Lives Matter riots are a ‘vital contribution to public health.’ In effect, they’re an essential medical procedure.

But that doesn’t mean you get to go outside. You don’t. Thanks to coronavirus, you do not have the right to resume your life. And if you complain about that, it’s quote, “white nationalism.” That was a ‘professional’ conclusion.

Does a single American believe any of that? No, of course not. It is too stupid to even for CNN to repeat, so they mostly ignored it.

That’s an ominous side if you think about it. It means these people are done trying to convince you, even to fool you. They’re not making arguments, they are issuing decrees. They think they can. They no longer believe they need your consent to make big decisions to run the country. Once the authority stops trying to change your mind, even by deceit, it means they’ve decided to use force, and they have.

During the lockdowns, people whose loved ones died were not allowed to have funerals for them. Think about that; it’s hard to think of anything crueler, but it happened to a lot of people. They claimed it was necessary. It was not necessary, and we know that they because now that a man has died whose death is politically useful to Democratic Party, the authorities have given him three funerals and not a word about a health risk.

Or consider King County, Washington — that’s where Seattle is. Restaurants in King County are operating at just 25% capacity. That’s the law now. Nonessential businesses are allowed 15% capacity. The effect of that is an economic disaster. Most small businesses run on very small margins. They can’t survive for long, and many have failed.

What should they do? They should join Antifa, obviously, because in King County, Washington, Antifa can do whatever they want to do. They’ve taken an entire six-block section of downtown Seattle, and that’s fine with health authorities. There is no social distancing required. They are essential.

Are you getting the picture? Is this adding up to our message? Yeah, the message is:  you were played. We were all played, corrupt politicians scared us into giving up control over the most basic questions in our own lives. At the same time, they gave more power to their obedient followers like Antifa while keeping the rest of us trapped at home and censored online.

In other words, they used a public health emergency to subvert democracy and instill themselves as monarchs. How are they able to do this? The sad truth is they did it because we let them do it. We believed them, they are therefore we obeyed them. If there’s anything good to come out of this disaster, it’s that none of us will ever make that mistake again.

[End]

Take that all to heart, friends, because it is the plain, unvarnished truth.

That is all.

America is Still Struggling With the Failure of Reconstruction

Given the events that have transpired since its airing a few weeks ago, I’m sure if the producers of the mini-series “Grant” had it to do all over again, they’d have made it 8 hours and 4 episodes in length instead of its 6 hours/3 episodes format. The first two episodes did a fine job of detailing Grant’s up-bringing and early years, his struggles through many failures in life, his rise through the ranks of Union generals, and the start of his successful prosecution of the final campaign of the War through Virginia.

But the final 2-hour episode attempted to cover far too much ground: The final, climactic months of the War; Lee’s surrender at Appomattox; the assassination of Lincoln; Grant’s commission to oversee the failed Reconstruction process; Grant’s two-term presidency and his final days finishing his memoirs while suffering with fatal cancer of the throat. It was far, far too much crucially important ground to try to cover in just two hours, especially with at least nine 5-minute-long commercial breaks sprinkled into the mix.

The last two weeks of demonstrations in the wake of the murder of George Floyd; the demonstrations, riots, looting and burning of a dozen major U.S. cities reminiscent of Sherman’s march through Atlanta to the sea; and the burgeoning national debate that is now taking place over policing and race relations cries out for detailed re-examination not of the Civil War or Grant’s presidency, but of that period of Reconstruction which, had it been properly executed by people of good intent, could have unified the nation and put in place conditions that might have avoided much of the racial strife that followed and continues to this day.

If you search your memories you will realize that no one – not even Ken Burns in his great “The Civil War” documentary – has produced a truly thorough recounting of that terrible time in our nation, and which lays true accountability for the horrors that took place. “Grant” gave it very short shrift, as the producers did everything they could to avoid laying any blame a the feet of the title subject and his often ham-handed management of the process.

The one of hundreds of atrocities the series does go into some detail about is the New Orleans Massacre of July 30, 1866, an event in which a band of former Confederate soldiers slaughtered dozens of freed slaves who were organizing themselves to participate in the upcoming elections. That all happened under the not-so-watchful eye of General William Sherman and a garrison of the Union Army before the Reconstruction Act of 1867 had been passed by congress. “Grant” also makes vague reference to dozens of similar incidents that took place all over the South in the subsequent years, but goes into little detail about them.

It also briefly mentions the rise of the Ku Klux Klan during that period of time, but goes into no detail about the fact that the Klan was actually created by the Democratic Party – which dominated the Southern states – after the 1866 elections, in which the Northern States overwhelmingly awarded control of congress to the Republican Party of Lincoln and Grant. Just as the Democrat Party created Antifa immediately following the 2016 elections, in which the northern states of PA, MI and WI turned Red and awarded the presidency and both houses of congress to the Republicans. There is a pattern to all of this.

Here we stumble right upon the very real reason why Hollywood has been so reluctant to fully explore the period of Reconstruction in documentary format: It is impossible to honestly do so without making the crystal clear, direct connection between the Klan and the Democrat Party. Indeed, it was the rise of the Klan as the military wing of the Democrat Party that rendered Grant’s assignment of executing on the Reconstruction laws an impossible mission. It was too deeply embedded in the Southern culture to be rooted out. The series makes passing mention of the fact that supposed pillars of these communities – doctors, lawyers, farmers and civic leaders – were all engaged with the Klan.

Sadly, that remained the reality in many cities and towns all over the South for well over a century. Indeed, as recently as just 2010 – a bare decade ago – a former member of the Klan – Democrat Robert Byrd of West Virginia – held a prominent position of leadership in the United States Senate. Other former Klan members with names like Strom Thurmond, Jesse Helms, William Fulbright, and Ernest Hollings held seats in the Senate in modern times, long after the passage of the Civil Rights bills in the mid-1960s.

Even sadder, the existence today of Antifa as the military wing of the Democrat Party will just as readily ensure that no real reconciliation will come from the debate currently raging in Washington and across our national news media. The simple reality is that those on the radical left who have basically seized control of that Party actively oppose reconciliation and seek violent revolution instead.

Congress may pass a few bills and pat itself on the back for doing it, but the real battles are taking place right now in the radical city council of Minneapolis, which is about to disband its police department, and on Capitol Hill in Seattle, where Antifa has forcibly seized control of an 8 square block area, with armed guards preventing the police from entering the area.

Just as we will never receive an honest accounting of the role of the Ku Klux Klan’s destruction of Reconstruction, we will not receive an honest accounting of Antifa from our national news media, which is working to destroy our nation from within today. Because an honest accounting of either requires the examination of the fact that both destructive groups were the creation of the national Democrat Party, and no one in Hollywood or the Democrat-controlled news media can afford to go there.

That is all.

Sunday News Roundup: De-Fund the FBI, Frey gets Fried, and an Archbishop’s Message

Wait. This is our national A-team? – If you have watched any of the various FBI-themed TV shows in recent years, the image you see depicted is one of fit, drop-dead gorgeous and handsome young women and men with flowing locks, expensive tailored clothes, quick draws and no-nonsense personas who always get the bad guy in any situation. It is an image that the FBI itself has carefully nurtured over the decades – they’re brave, they’re heroic, they’re keen investigators who always get their man.

Revelations over the past several years of utter FBI ineptitude at stopping the acts of domestic terrorists they were fully aware of and were monitoring have destroyed the notion that the agency always gets its man. Revelations of the agency’s role in the still-growing Obamagate scandal shattered its image as an agency dedicated to anything resembling truth or justice. Over the past 24 hours, since photos of an entire squad of FBI agents taking a knee to Black Lives Matter protesters in Washington DC emerged, we now know beyond all doubt that the agency’s preferred visual image is completely false. What we see instead is this:

… a rag-tag group of ordinary, not particularly attractive boys and girls, many of whom have obviously spent too much time at the dessert station on the FBI buffet.

Like the parade of corrupt FBI directors we have been treated to throughout the agency’s entire history, any group of law enforcement officers who would bow before  a crowd that is almost certainly infiltrated with domestic terrorists is motivated not by any sense of justice and upholding the law, but rather by politics.

There is no question that reforms in the way our police departments and agencies work need to be implemented. Anyone who knows anything about the history of utterly corrupt police departments in many major cities – like Los Angeles, Chicago, New York City, New Orleans, Detroit and St. Louis – understands that corruption and racial abuse in those departments has run rampant for many decades.

We have seen many calls to “de-fund” the police in recent days, a crazy notion that would leave millions of Americans helpless at the hands of criminal gangs. That “de-fund” effort of course targets local police departments, mainly in big, Democrat-run cities. But there are far more good cops than bad cops, and those good cops are vital to the lives and livelihoods of law-abiding people who live in crime-ridden neighborhoods.

However, there is one law enforcement agency that literally cries out today to be completely de-funded and rebuilt from the ground up under new leadership. That is the agency led today by a worthless, feckless and corrupt bureaucrat named Christopher Wray, the one that took a knee to domestic terrorists this weekend.

You want to “de-fund the police”? Start at the top.

Speaking of worthless and feckless bureaucrats… – Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey engaged in his own genuflecting to domestic terrorists scene on Saturday, thinking he’d be applauded for it. It didn’t quite work out that way for him:

It’s like Cerci Lannister’s walk of shame on Game of Thrones, only he thankfully remained fully clothed.

This guy is like Justin Trudeau’s less-attractive, less-effective little brother.

But you still can’t go to church. – These scenes happened all over the country, proving once and for all that the entire concept of “social distancing” is a bad joke that has no meaning:

And yes, even in Vegas:

All of these scenes and many more demonstrate conclusively that Americans are simply over the whole “social distancing” nonsense. Democrat mayors and governors who just 12 days ago were intent on keeping their cities and states locked down through Election Day on November 3 are going to have a real hard time putting this genie back in their political bottles.

News you won’t see reported on CNN or MSNBC. – On this Sunday, I will leave you with this powerful message, a letter written to President Donald Trump by archbishop Carlo Vigano, who clearly sees the true nature of the motivations behind the global protests we are now seeing. The letter is very long and can be read in full at this link.

Here is a key excerpt for those of you who are in a hurry:

In society, Mr. President, these two opposing realities co-exist as eternal enemies, just as God and Satan are eternal enemies. And it appears that the children of darkness – whom we may easily identify with the deep state which you wisely oppose and which is fiercely waging war against you in these days – have decided to show their cards, so to speak, by now revealing their plans. They seem to be so certain of already having everything under control that they have laid aside that circumspection that until now had at least partially concealed their true intentions. The investigations already under way will reveal the true responsibility of those who managed the Covid emergency not only in the area of health care but also in politics, the economy, and the media. We will probably find that in this colossal operation of social engineering there are people who have decided the fate of humanity, arrogating to themselves the right to act against the will of citizens and their representatives in the governments of nations.

We will also discover that the riots in these days were provoked by those who, seeing that the virus is inevitably fading and that the social alarm of the pandemic is waning, necessarily have had to provoke civil disturbances, because they would be followed by repression which, although legitimate, could be condemned as an unjustified aggression against the population. The same thing is also happening in Europe, in perfect synchrony. It is quite clear that the use of street protests is instrumental to the purposes of those who would like to see someone elected in the upcoming presidential elections who embodies the goals of the deep state and who expresses those goals faithfully and with conviction. It will not be surprising if, in a few months, we learn once again that hidden behind these acts of vandalism and violence there are those who hope to profit from the dissolution of the social order so as to build a world without freedom: Solve et Coagula, as the Masonic adage teaches.

For the first time, the United States has in you a President who courageously defends the right to life, who is not ashamed to denounce the persecution of Christians throughout the world, who speaks of Jesus Christ and the right of citizens to freedom of worship. Your participation in the March for Life, and more recently your proclamation of the month of April as National Child Abuse Prevention Month, are actions that confirm which side you wish to fight on. And I dare to believe that both of us are on the same side in this battle, albeit with different weapons.

For this reason, I believe that the attack to which you were subjected after your visit to the National Shrine of Saint John Paul II is part of the orchestrated media narrative which seeks not to fight racism and bring social order, but to aggravate dispositions; not to bring justice, but to legitimize violence and crime; not to serve the truth, but to favor one political faction. And it is disconcerting that there are Bishops – such as those whom I recently denounced – who, by their words, prove that they are aligned on the opposing side. They are subservient to the deep state, to globalism, to aligned thought, to the New World Order which they invoke ever more frequently in the name of a universal brotherhood which has nothing Christian about it, but which evokes the Masonic ideals of those want to dominate the world by driving God out of the courts, out of schools, out of families, and perhaps even out of churches.

The American people are mature and have now understood how much the mainstream media does not want to spread the truth but seeks to silence and distort it, spreading the lie that is useful for the purposes of their masters. However, it is important that the good – who are the majority – wake up from their sluggishness and do not accept being deceived by a minority of dishonest people with unavowable purposes. It is necessary that the good, the children of light, come together and make their voices heard. What more effective way is there to do this, Mr. President, than by prayer, asking the Lord to protect you, the United States, and all of humanity from this enormous attack of the Enemy? Before the power of prayer, the deceptions of the children of darkness will collapse, their plots will be revealed, their betrayal will be shown, their frightening power will end in nothing, brought to light and exposed for what it is: an infernal deception.

Lightfoot to Wal-Mart: Please Stay so we can do it to you all Over Again in November

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Oh, to be a fly on the wall for this call. – Chicago’s radical Mayor Lori Lightweight, er, Lightfoot refused to allow her police department to effectively put down the mass riots that have taken place in her city over the past 11 days. She also refused to activate the National Guard to provide assistance to the police department before the rioting had done hundreds of millions of dollars in damage and resulted in multiple deaths, over and above the 50-60 murders that take place in her city every month.

Lightfoot and her city council are, to put it simply, active enemies of the people in Chicago, and as such, they are active enemies of the businesses who serve those people. They are radical leftists who care nothing about people’s lives and livelihoods, and everything about obtaining and wielding political power for their own personal gain. That is who and what they are.

So it was that she had a pretty tough story to tell when she held a conference call on Friday with leaders of Wal-Mart and other big retailers whose stores she personally allowed to be looted, vandalized and destroyed in the days since the death of George Floyd. The worthless, subversive Mayor admitted that she “pleaded” with these business leaders not to abandon Chicago. One can only wonder what her messages of assurance might have been, especially to Wal-Mart, which reportedly lost 7 stores to Lightfoot’s own mismanagement.

After the past 11 days, there of course can be no rational business case to be made for Wal-Mart or any other business with the means to get out to remain in Chicago, given that the city’s government has obviously abandoned all pretense of doing anything real to provide civic security. But of course, most of those businesses will reopen, no doubt based on false assurances from Lightfoot, only to see it happen all over again in November after President Donald Trump wins his re-election.

Because that’s coming, and it’s coming in a very big way.

Back in 2018, as the Democrat Party was actively fomenting and staging “abolish ICE” riots in Los Angeles and other Democrat-controlled cities, I wrote about America’s new reality, which is the fact that one of our two major political parties now sees rioting, looting and burning cities as just another tool of politics. Of course, that Party has trended in that direction since the 1960’s, but in modern times its leaders have become quite open and frank about it.

Think about it: Over the past week we have seen the spectacle of Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren and Nancy Pelosi participating in the violent demonstrations in front of the White House in which more than 60 Secret Service agents have been injured. We have had the abject refusal by Democrat mayors all over the country to allow their police departments to protect the citizenry and quell the riots. We have seen the mayor of Washington, DC endorse the riots by painting “Black Lives Matter” – the name of one of the domestic terrorist groups who have fomented and conducted the riots – on a two block stretch of 17th Street near the White House.

Even more telling is what we have not heard from Democrat leaders. We have not heard a single one of them condemn the rioting. We have not heard a single one of them disavow their support for Antifa and Black Lives Matter. We have not heard a single one of them say a word about the tragic deaths of a dozen or more black lives, including retired Police Captain David Dorn in St. Louis, as a result of these riots.

Any astute business leader at Wal-Mart or any of the other major retailers who saw their shops destroyed by these Democrat-sponsored riots would summarily reject any appeal from Lightfoot to stick around and go through it all again in a few months. But they will all no doubt accede to her pleas, due mainly to political pressure, even as their insurance and paid security costs skyrocket, and the flight out of the city by most sane people dramatically reduces their customer base in the months and years to come.

Because Democrats destroy everything they touch, and if you’re doing business in Chicago, they’re touching you in a very big way.

That is all.

Larry Schweikart: Antifa’s Deadly Beauty

Guest Piece by America’s History Teacher, Larry Schweikart

About six months ago I suddenly realized that we had not heard from the fascist so-called “antifa” in a long time. I actually thought perhaps we had broken them, that their ineffectiveness previously had caused the movement to dissipate.

Boy was I wrong. Something quite different had been occurring. The fascist “antifa” had been mobilizing and sitting in their little commie-type sleeper cells awaiting a call for activation. No one, including George Soros—who either personally or through channels sent the “go” order—knew exactly what that instigating event would be. The point is, the fascist “antifa” was ready. They were trained to be in the streets within 24 hours, in multiple cities, en masse. There was a deadly beauty to the organizational skill involved in the “call up” of these quasi-military forces. And no doubt, more than a few of the snowflakes were sufficiently intimidated by the China Virus and obediently took to their masks as they sheltered in place.

But after a week, it is clear that there are two basic groups involved in these riots. The first are blacks who took the opportunity of George Floyd’s death to protest, loot, and burn. No one on the right—not one single person so far that I’ve seen—has called Floyd’s death anything less than a murder. No one has suggested anything be done with the killer cop than perpetual jail. (Proving premeditation would be nearly impossible here and hence there will not be a death penalty on the table, no matter what some of the whackos call for. In other words, the right is united that this was a case of police brutality.

In the case of Minneapolis, however, it appears that this policeman in particular has been given repeated passes on his over-the-top violence. And in 2017, Mohamed Noor, a Somalil cop in Minneapolis, shot and killed Justine Damond. Naturally, instead of endorsing the jail sentence for a murderer, the civil rights crowd complained Noor was treated differently from other officers who killed civilians. Noor shot the unarmed Damond as she approached the car. Minneapolis, in other words, has had a track record of excessive police force. Various photos show as many as three police on top of George Floyd with Derek Chauvin kneeling on the handcuffed Floyd’s neck as he lay face down. Whether Chauvin actually choked off Floyd’s air supply or merely contributed to his heart giving out will be a matter of debate by medical specialists.

What’s equally troubling is that one other person was filming the whole event; at least two other officers were helping Chauvin; and another officer was standing nearby. None intervened to simply place the man in the back of the police car. Such an incident should provoke a massive reaction, including a complete overhaul of the Minneapolis Police Department. What it should not have provoked were mobs burning and looting stores and taking over a MPD precinct station. In all cases, both the MPD and the mayor—and the snowflake governor who essentially encouraged the looters—the police should have immediately moved in to stop illegal activity.

But here comes the kicker: when they started arresting people, the police found out that some 40% of them were out-of-towners. Who could that possibly be? Fascist so-called antifa mobs. Video surfaced today of a white antifa goon instructing “protestors” where to go and what targets to hit.

We won’t even get into the reality that many of these (mostly) black-owned businesses that were looted or burned were still under the snowflake governor’s lockdown policies and were dying on the vine.

Make no mistake: this was a Soros-backed, fascist so-called “antifa”-led series of national mob riots with no connection whatsoever to George Floyd. Most of the mob rioters probably thought Floyd’s first name was “Pink.” This was a well-planned, orchestrated evil designed in the pit of George Soros’s hell to destabilize not just the USA, but also England and Canada (where “protest” of more Pink Floyd fans joined the rioting. Like some snakes, this operation was beautiful in its design and deadly in its venom.

Today President Donald Trump announced he would officially designate the fascist so-called “antifa” group a terrorist organization. Among other things, that means that not only the Department of Justice will now (we hope) prosecute it, but the Treasury and IRS can now become involved in tracking the terrorists’ finances that almost certainly lead to George Soros. This is a big deal. But . . .

How big depends entirely on the vigor with which Attorney General William Barr actually follows through. More important, it will require a significant buy-in from the leftist-leaning bureaucracies in the FBI, Treasury, and IRS. Whether an actual prosecution of the fascists called antifa is possible remains to be seen. Ironically, however, Trump’s designation of antifa as a terrorist organization means that so far Barack Obama has been largely responsible for the creation of two terrorist groups, ISIS and antifa. Now, if we can only get Black Lives Matter to be so designated . . . .

The Official Narrative on the Floyd Killing is Falling Apart

New video of the prelude to the killing of George Floyd by fired Minneapolis police officers emerged on Saturday, and it adds to the growing realization that the official narrative we’ve been fed about that murder simply no longer adds up.

The video shows the police officers involved in the killing working Floyd over in the backseat of their police vehicle, apparently softening him up before they dragged him out onto the street pavement where they finished the job in front of  a crowd that they had to know would capture the incident on their cell phones. Take a look at the second clip below:

In that clip, you can see one cop on the near side of the car scuffling with Floyd as Derek Chauvin – who was arrested and charged with 3rd degree murder on Friday – begins to pull him out on the far side of the vehicle.

So, how does this conflict with the official narrative? Well, to this point we have been told Floyd did not resist and that there was no reason for Chauvin to restrain him by pressing his knee on the back of his neck for more than 8 minutes, until Floyd died.

This video shows one of two possibilities here: Either Floyd was indeed resisting arrest, or he was being brutalized by the cops. One or the other has to be the case here. The first possibility would give the cops some mitigating arguments to the murder charge, though it certainly would not excuse them entirely. That is, unless the reason why Floyd was putting up a fight was because he realized he was about to be killed.

The second possibility raises the potential that this was indeed an act of premeditated murder.

We have no way of knowing which scenario is the correct one. But the long records of complaints and lawsuits brought against at least two of these cops, and the fact that Chauvin and Floyd had actually worked security at a local night club together for several years sure does add to the suspicion that this was not just some random act.

Think about it: The Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area has a population of roughly 3.6 million people. The thought that this high-profile killing involving two men who worked together and likely knew each other is mere coincidence strains credulity to the breaking point.

Up until now, the assumption has been that this killing was just the random spark that lit the flame to the series of national riots that the Democrats/Soros/BLM/Antifa crew were planning to launch this summer anyway. But with all of the odd facts now surrounding this killing, combined with the obviously-orchestrated nature of the riots, you have to wonder if Floyd’s murder was a random event at all.

I have made it a personal practice to stay away from talk about “false flags” that fly around social media in reaction to high-profile events such as this one. But boy, the official narrative around this particular high-profile event is beginning to fall completely apart.

No doubt, many will react by saying there is no way even the Democrats would resort to something so destructive to our national fabric. But ask yourself this: in 2016, would you have believed it if someone told you that the Democrats and the national news media were about to mount a four-year effort push the Russia hoax? Or that they would expand that hoax into an active coup d’etat effort on American soil? Or that, when all of that failed to work, they would hold the nation captive for five months with a completely made-up impeachment hoax? Or that Democrat governors and mayors would intentionally keep people out of work and kill thousands of businesses in their states and cities for no good reason simply to try to impact the November elections?

Sadly, with today’s Democrats and their corrupt media toadies, literally anything is possible.

Stay tuned.

That is all.
