Wednesday News Roundup: Tucker Carlson outs Fredo Cuomo and Trump Goes to Kenosha

Is Fredo Cuomo in trouble at CNN? Don’t bet on it. – President Trump issued this tweet targeting brother of mass-murdering Governor Andrew Cuomo, Fredo Cuomo this morning:

The President is referring to a segment on Tucker Carlson Tonight last night, in which Carlson aired a part of a recorded conversation between Fredo and his very good friend, former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen. In that recording, Cuomo profanely complains about constant harassment from reporters about allegations of sexual harassment lodged against him by fellow employees at CNN and in his prior position at ABC:

I won’t do a transcript of this since I try to keep this blog rated PG-13, but the basic plot here isn’t really all that incriminating for Cuomo. He doesn’t admit to actually being a serial harasser of women; he just complains that women he works with are apparently constantly complaining about him being a serial harasser of women.

I spent 40 years in the corporate world without ever having a single co-worker lodge any such complaint against me. Those of you who have spent time in the corporate world will know that the men you have seen on the receiving end of such complaints are exactly the men you would have expected to see on the receiving end of such complaints. Sexual harassment allegations are seldom any big surprise to the people in the office.

But no one should expect CNN to have the organizational integrity to even properly investigate Fredo, much less level any disciplinary action against him. CNN is, after all, nothing more than a Nazi-style propaganda operation, and the Nazis never were real big on protecting women’s rights.

This is why it was imperative for President Trump to visit Kenosha, Wisconsin. – President Trump flew to Kenosha on Tuesday, and all the corrupt news media could find to hyperventilate about was the fact that he did not pay a visit to the family of Jacob Blake, the career woman-abusing criminal who was justifiably shot by the Kenosha police a couple of weeks ago. The President said he had attempted to reach out to the family, but backed off when they said they would not meet with him without their money-grubbing lawyer present.

But visiting Jacob Blake’s family – who are pursuing every angle to profit from the incident – was not in any way the purpose of the President’s visit. The purpose of the visit was far more intelligently focused than that. By having the TV cameras follow him around the city, the President forced the corrupt news media to capture images of the utter devastation visited on the town by Democrat-paid rioters who came into Kenosha from all over the country to loot and burn it.

By taking the time to take the corrupt reporters on a tour of the city, Trump forced them to show their audiences conclusively that vast swaths of Kenosha now resemble Dresden, Germany after the fire bombings of WWII. It was the only way any images like this would ever air on CBS, NBC or ABC.

Oregon law enforcement officials push back on communist Gov. Kate Brown. – In case you missed it, communist Democrat Oregon Gov. Kate Brown released her fancy new plan for dealing with the 98-night-long riots in Portland on Sunday. That plan is as, well, stupid as the despicable Governor herself, which, when you think about it, is exactly what you’d expect.

Comrade Kate’s big idea is to take sheriff’s deputies and other law enforcement personnel from  Washington and Clackamas counties and the city of Gresham and send them into the increasingly violent, out of control fray that she and her comrade Mayor Ted Wheeler have allowed to build in the state’s largest city over the past three+ months.

The reaction from law enforcement officials in those other jurisdiction was entirely predictable and appropriate. From a story at The Blaze:

In no uncertain terms, the sheriffs slammed the plan and said they would not send their officers to Portland.

Clackamas Sheriff Craig Roberts advised Brown that more resources will not solve the problem in Portland — only policy change can provide the desperately needed solution.

According to Roberts, Brown never contacted him about sending his deputies to Portland.

“I was surprised to read that the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office was part of the plan since the Governor’s Office never contacted me,” Roberts explained. “Had Governor Brown discussed her plan with my office, I would have told her it’s about changing policy not adding resources. Increasing law enforcement resources in Portland will not solve the nightly violence and now, murder. The only way to make Portland safe again, is to support a policy that holds offenders accountable for their destruction and violence.”

Although Brown and her fellow communist Democrat governors around the country think they are dictators with absolute authority, they aren’t. You shouldn’t expect to see Comrade Brown’s plan put into action anytime soon, or ever.

Meanwhile, the Portland riots rage on. – Democrat-sponsored rioters continued their efforts to destroy Portland for the 98th consecutive night, as Comrade Wheeler apparently told his police to stand down again.

Impeachment’s Incredible Moving Goal Posts

The goal posts just keep on moving. – Anytime a major controversy arises that implicates prominent Democrats in wrongdoing, the Democrats and their media toadies employ two favorite tactics. The first is “projection,” accusing the other side of doing exactly what they themselves have been caught doing. You know, like abusing your office by withholding foreign aid to, say, oh, Ukraine until that country’s president fires the prosecutor who is investigating the U.S. Vice President’s son. Something like that.

The other favored tactic is the moving of the goal posts. You can count on this to happen with at least one aspect of the situation on pretty much a daily basis.  Where Joe Biden’s clear quid pro quo with Ukraine is concerned, here is the progression we’ve seen so far:

“Hey, that didn’t happen!”

[Trump produces campaign ad melding Biden bragging video with other shady Biden interactions with various Ukraine thugs.]

“Ok, ok, Biden did it, but he didn’t do it for ‘personal’ gain!” That’s the latest line from Fredo Cuomo, Fake Jake Tapper and everyone else in the fake media, including Fox’s Chris Wallace on Sunday. That one will fail, too, and we can expect to see another new absurdly false defense of Quid Pro Joe to be floated out today by all the Usual Suspects.

Then there’s the fake “whistleblower” himself. When this all first broke, the line coming from Adam Schiff (who we now know had been coordinating with the “whistleblower” for weeks before the story broke) was that this intrepid, heroic spy embedded by the CIA within the White House for months was heroically confident of his story and would be heroically willing to testify before Schiff’s heroic committee.  Last Tuesday, Bug Eyes even speculated the spy would testify “before the end of the week.”

The news fakers at the New York Times, obviously having gotten the green light from Schiff and Pelosi, went so far as to publish personal details about the CIA plant, details that have allowed some to basically figure out exactly who the guy is. This was clearly done in anticipation of the guy testifying quickly, a stage-setting for the big show.

Then on Thursday, President Trump started saying he’d love for the guy to testify in public and have to face questioning from Republicans on the committee, and Schiff – and probably the fake whistleblower, too – started getting cold feet. When the President later characterized the Intelligence Community operatives who fed the whistleblower all of the second-and-third-hand information contained in his fake complaint as “almost spies,” the Democrat/media propaganda complex saw the chance to shift the goal posts again.

First, the media in unison – they all had the same talking points memo to read from, after all – falsely claimed the President’s “almost spies” remark was about the fake whistleblower rather than the IC operatives who fed him the gossip. Very shortly thereafter, they all began saying in unison – without presenting a shred of actual evidence – that the fake whistleblower who just days before was the brave hero ready to testify in public was now all a-skeered for his life because the bad Orange Man said something nasty about him, even though what the President said wasn’t about him.

Last night on “60 Minutes”, drama queen Scott Pelley went so far as to falsely claim that the fake whistleblower is so a-skeered that “he or she” is now in federal protective custody. The problem there is that the fake whistleblower’s own lawyers say that just isn’t true. But hey, when has truth ever mattered to our fake news media? They have a population to be brainwashed, after all.

In case you’re wondering, what’s really happened here is that the Democrats and IC spies who have choreographed this entire fake pretense for impeachment made one gigantic miscalculation: They obviously never expected the White House to release the transcript of the call with the Ukrainian President. They assumed the White House would do what it has been doing all year in the face of a raft of highly-politicized subpoenas from various House committees: Protect the right of Executive Privilege. Without the transcript being made public, everything would have devolved into a classic “he said, she said” dispute.

The fact is the release of that transcript is a completely unprecedented act. It has never been done before. The President, faced with shrill demands from the Democrat/media complex to “come clean,” called their bluff and came clean. That was not part of the Democrat/IC script for this whole impeachment deal.

The problem, of course, is that the transcript of the call does not support in any way the claims made by the fake whistleblower in his complaint. The Democrat/media complex started down the road to claiming the transcript had been falsified over the weekend, but then we learned that the same IC spies who fed the fake whistleblower all the gossip also participate in the creation of these transcripts. So if you’re claiming the transcript is false, you’re accusing your own co-conspirators.

So, they next went to claiming the fact that the transcript had been stored on a super-secure server was proof of a coverup! Oops. Turns out that has been standard operating procedure for all transcripts of presidential calls with foreign leaders for more than two years now.

Thus, today the goal posts will be moved again. The Democrat/media talking points monkeys are no doubt working on today’s memo as this is being written. No idea what the newest narrative will be, but we can be certain it will be as false as all of its predecessors.

Because that is who these people are, and it is what they do. Every. Damn. Day.

As the President points out there, don’t hold your breath waiting for any major mainstream media outlet to fill its readers/viewers in on the real scandal in all of that, since it involved Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, both of whom are part of the protected Democrat class.

Don’t expect to see that clip of Biden played anywhere outside of OANN or Fox News.

Every time the City of Houston has a crisis, Jim McIngvale, owner of the gigantic Gallery Furniture Store in North Houston, steps up to the plate in a big way. In the past several flooding events, he has opened up his huge warehouse to anyone who has been displaced from their homes, and borne most of the costs of keeping them fed, clothed and comfortable for days on end.

This is a wonderful, great American with a giant heart, and President Trump would do well to award him the Presidential Medal of Freedom. He is far more deserving than many of those who have received that honor.

We Can’t Put Democrat Judges in Charge of Enforcing Red Flag Laws

Oh, noes, not Stacey!!!! – Because I know all you readers have been sitting around fretting, wondering when, oh, when will the stellar, awesome, brilliant, and indeed heroic Stacey Abrams jump into this race for the Democrat Party’s presidential nomination, I am oh, so sad to report the following news: She ain’t running.

Yesterday, the insufferable loooooooooser from Georgia, in whom Democrat Party leaders invested gobs of time, energy and money, trying desperately to build her into a national thing, announced that, after long contemplation of whether or not she wanted to get into another race she would be bound to lose, she did what fellow looooooooooser Irish Bob O’Rourke didn’t have the sense to do and decided to go do something else she might actually be good at doing. (Yeah, I know that was a run-on sentence, but I sure had fun writing it.)

Instead, Ms. Abrams has decided to apply her boundless energy for whining to the endeavor she loves most: Encouraging voter fraud. Oh, yeah, I know she actually said that she’s going to lead some organization whose goal is to fight “voter suppression,” but that’s just Democrat code for making sure all the dead and illegal aliens get to vote, too.

“My job is to be the voice to those who do not believe they are heard,” Abrams told a chanting audience. Dead people do have a hard time being heard, that’s for sure.

Hey, maybe she can get Irish Bob to help her run this enterprise, but not until after he has dropped out of the presidential race, come back to Texas and lost another race for the senate against John Cornyn. Which is pretty much an inevitability at this point, now that the editorial board at the Houston Chronicle, one of his major cheerleading squads during his failed attempt to unseat Ted Cruz, has set the stage for that to happen.

These Democrats are so darn transparent once you understand how they really think.

Ok, so Chris Cuomo can’t have guns, then? – Quote yesterday from President Donald Trump: “There’s nobody more pro-Second Amendment than Donald Trump, but I don’t want guns in the hands of a lunatic or manic.”

That gets me to this proposal running around for congress to pass a “red flag law” in the wake of the mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton. All you need to know about how a red flag law would work is this sub-head from an August 6 article published about them in the Democrat Party propaganda sheet New York Times:

“Hoping to prevent more mass shootings, some states have tried empowering courts to take guns away from potentially dangerous people.”

The emphasis added there is mine, because that’s the salient point here that tells anyone whose political views are to the right of Ho Chi Minh that we simply cannot and must not have a national red flag law in the United States of America in the post- Barack Obama world. Anyone who has been paying even a modicum of attention to what has been taking place in our courts over the last 3 years knows that Obama packed the federal judiciary with hundreds of Manchurian Candidate judges who are willing to issue any decision, no matter how contrary it might be to the constitution, that will advance the leftist cause in our country.

We have had so many examples of Obama judges issuing bald-faced fraudulent decisions and getting smacked down by the Supreme Court in recent years that they are almost not even newsworthy anymore, which was exactly the plan to begin with. Leaving the determination of which citizens might be a danger to others should they obtain a firearm up to these particular judges is simply a recipe for willy-nilly gun confiscation anytime some leftwing activist group wants them confiscated. We’d ultimately end up in a situation in which you could have your guns taken away if you get suspended on Facebook or post a Tweet that some pimple-faced slob out in Silicon Valley working as a Twitter monitor finds objectionable.

Some of you might still, after all this time and all of these anti-Constitutional judicial decisions think I’m being ridiculous, and that’s fine. But take a look at the campaign the Democrats and their media toadies have been pushing since those latest mass shootings, which is to convince the American public not only that the President of the United States is a “white supremacist” – and thus, a danger to society – but anyone who supports him is also a “white supremacist.”

This is not me being an alarmist – this is all utterly transparent and predictable.

The other thing to remember is that, sooner or later, the Democrats are going to elect another president of their own, and that someone will look and sound a lot like one of those nutcases you have seen on your TV screen for the last six months. Do you really want to put a federal law on the books that would allow one of those lunatics and the fellow lunatics they would appoint to have discretion over who should and should not be able to arm and defend themselves in this society?

Sorry, no. Hard, hard pass.

*WARNING: NSFW* Ok, don’t watch the video below if you are sensitive to the “f” word. – Because the “f” word appears to be about half of CNN host Chris Cuomo’s vocabulary whenever he is not on air. On Sunday, some Trump supporter called him “Fredo” – the nickname Rush Limbaugh hilariously bestowed  on the dimmest Cuomo sibling years ago – at a public venue, and Chris decided to go all Sonny Corleone on the guy

Of course, if Tucker Carlson or Sean Hannity or Bret Baier or any other Fox News personality outside of Shep Smith got caught on video behaving like this in public, every fake journalist in our fake news media would be going berserk demanding they be fired and run out of the business, and frankly I’d agree with them. But because this is a certified high-profile member of the Democrat activist media establishment who works for the Democrat Party’s main TV propaganda organization, and because he was going after one of those evil, deplorable Trump supporters, well, let’s just say no one at the New York Times or MSNBC is making any such demands.

You might – and it’s a big “might” – see CNN make Cuomo take a week or so off to let the situation cool down, but you won’t see him taken off the air entirely or otherwise suffer any major sanctions, for the simple reason that his program is regularly CNN’s highest-rated prime time show. Not that it’s highly-rated in the grand scheme of things, given that Cuomo and CNN’s entire lineup consistently lags way behind their competition at Fox and MSNBC, but in the context of CNN’s pathetic, mind-numbed, airport-monopoly-based audience, he’s like a TV god.

I’m old enough to remember when CNN was actually a respectable news organization, one that actually had standards and stuff. But that all ended during the Bush Administration. The first Bush Administration.

Incidentally, during the course of his rant, Cuomo claimed that being called “Fredo” is the Italian equivalent of African Americans being called the “n-word.” Very predictably, the peabrains at CNN backed him up on that ridiculous notion:

A CNN spokesperson told Mediaite in a statement, “Chris Cuomo defended himself when he was verbally attacked with the use of an ethnic slur in an orchestrated setup. We completely support him.”

You just cannot make these liberals up, folks. You really can’t, and honestly, why would you want to?

Let me guess: Was he a former state trooper from Arkansas? – As part of their ongoing “investigation” into the incredibly suspicious alleged “suicide” of Jeffrey Epstein, prison officials told the Associated Press that one of the guards assigned to keep watch over the federal prison system’s highest-profile prisoner was “not a trained correctional officer.” Go figure.

Hey, look, here’s Beto pretending to be a real person or something! – As always happens whenever Irish Bob O’Rourke goes into his regular guy mode, unintentional hilarity ensues. Here he is, making like he’s ever actually had to change a tire in the course of his white-privileged life:

If Beto O’Rourke were Italian rather than Irish, he’d be more of a Fredo than Fredo Cuomo. Please, someone who actually cares about this guy, do an intervention with him and let him know it’s time to stop this madness and go home. This is just pitiful at this point.
