Brexit’s Success is as Important to Donald Trump as it is to Boris Johnson

Pay attention to Brexit. – While our fake U.S. news media establishment has spent the week obsessing over President Donald Trump making a mark on a map with a Sharpie, some major, real events have been taking place across the Great Pond, in jolly old England.

Ok, well, things aren’t exactly jolly in London right now, as a political war between the EU-captive elites and Brexit-favoring Prime Minister Boris Johnson has broken out into full public view. As we have seen in America with the “Never Trump” fake conservative subversives joining ranks with the radical, anti-Trump left, so are we now seeing the fake Torries unmasking themselves as the deceitful, compromised hacks they truly are. More than 20 of these EU useful idiots were ejected from the British conservative party this week for their failure to support Johnson’s efforts to affect a final Brexit from the EU by October, and several others resigned voluntarily, including Johnson’s own brother.

As you watch all of this play out, complete with video clips of the comical goings-on inside Parliament, it’s important to keep in mind that Brexit is in fact the law of the land in Britain, having been decided by direct election way back in the summer of 2016, an election that wasn’t really close. Yet, the party that was provided a majority to make it all happen keeps being sabotaged by the disloyal enemies within its midst.

Sounds a lot like the Republican Party, right? Right.

In reality, the ongoing debate over Brexit is a clear reflection of America’s debate over border security. While the U.S. does not have direct national elections over policy decisions, every poll ever taken on the border issue shows a vast majority of citizens favor strong action to secure the border with Mexico. There are no exceptions to this reality. Yet, when the GOP had majorities in both houses of congress and a President in the White House, all efforts to enact policy reforms to the nation’s immigration laws were scuttled by the disloyal enemies within its midst, including then-Speaker of the House Paul Ryan.

In the U.S. immigration debate, the EU is personified by the partnership between U.S. Chamber of Commerce and its giant corporate members who want to keep the flow of cheap labor coming into our country regardless of the ultimate political consequences, and the national Democratic Party, which will be the ultimate beneficiary of those political consequences. This is all crystal clear and really not debatable.

Athwart all of that mendacity yelling “stop!” you have President Trump, the American counterpart to PM Johnson. Interestingly, President Trump may well be able to play a significant role in resolving Johnson’s current inability to move Brexit to final fruition. That potential ability all comes down – as it does with China – to trade and tariffs.

Like China, the EU nations have enjoyed the financial and economic benefits of 74 years of American stupidity in the trade arena, placing all manner of tariffs and other trade roadblocks on U.S. goods while America did little or nothing to retaliate. Several of the EU nations, most obviously Germany, who have been major trading partners with China, are already experiencing the power of U.S. retaliatory tariffs in an indirect way. German Chancellor Angela Merkel and her EU peers are no doubt already living in fear of what their lives would look like in the face of direct U.S. tariffs placed on their own countries’ products.

But here’s the thing: These disloyal British MPs who are refusing to allow Johnson to comply with the voters’ Brexit mandate are heavily tied in with and influenced by the EU, whether monetarily or otherwise. Given that, President Trump has the means to influence those MPs indirectly by – guess what? – announcing retaliatory tariffs on EU member country imports, exactly as he has done with China.

Mr. Trump might also tie those tariffs to a new, simultaneous trade deal with Great Britain – a concept he and PM Johnson have already publicly discussed – a move that could incentivize a mass relocation of manufacturing operations and jobs from continental Europe to the British Isles. Think about it.

The President fully understands, better than anyone else, that he and PM Johnson are two lonely warriors in the battle against open-borders globalism. The ultimate achievement of Brexit from the EU is a vitally important front in that battle.

Don’t be surprised at all if, at some point this month, you see the President announce a new round of tariffs not on China, but on the recalcitrant and abusive nations in the EU. Because Donald Trump always plays to win, and in this case, winning for America means Brexit, and Johnson, must win first.

This was the week that the media/Democrat narrative mysteriously shifted away from Robert Mueller. After a couple of weeks of renewed, post-election focus on Mueller and his fake “investigation”, the media/Democrat axis of propaganda suddenly shifted to climate change, and then back to the border issue, and the 5,000-plus “migrants” from Central America overwhelming the infrastructure and public patience in Tijuana, Mexico.

This is very odd, since the Climate Scam is where the American Left always goes whenever it has run out of anything else to say. “Climate Change” is always their issue of last resort because of its nature as an ever-evolving set of theories that conveniently allow the scammer to blame literally anything that happens in our daily lives on “Climate Change”.

All those people fighting over cheap TVs at your local Wal-Mart on Black Friday? Climate Change. Riots happening in Paris, France? That’s not caused by tax protesters, it’s caused by Climate Change. Record, bitter cold across the midwest and northeast? Climate Change – never been cold up there before. Your car wouldn’t start yesterday morning? Climate Change. Brian Stelter’s disappearing hairline? Climate Change.

It’s all Climate Change all the time, and that’s why the Axis of Propaganda invariably ends up focusing on it for at least one week every year because all of their other fake narratives have come up a crapper. Thus, this week, a week when it became increasingly obvious that Robert Mueller has a huge bag of nothing where President Trump is concerned and is continuing to systematically wrap up his 19-month witch hunt, the media and their Democrat masters fell back on their old, reliable fright tactic.

The fake news media has also been forced to report on migrant invasion happening at our Southern border after a couple of weeks of attempting to ignore a story that is hugely damaging to Democrat interests. With even the media now admitting that more than 75% of these giant “caravans” consist of military-aged males, many of whom are known violent gang members, and with President Donald Trump tweeting and talking about it each and every day, the post-election effort to simply ignore it became impossible to maintain.

There are reports this morning that several hundred of the migrant army in Tijuana will attempt to storm the border crossing there later today, so CNN will gladly report on that, hoping to get films of violence that are that fake news network’s stock in trade. Of course, CNN will only air any such video if it can spin the shots negatively against U.S. Border Patrol and military personnel who will be there to turn back the invasion.

Which is what this is. An invasion.

Let’s go to the rest of this Week in Review:

It was the week that all the focus on Climate Change and the migrant invasion took preening CNN peacock Jim Acosta right out of the news cycle, and that was a glorious result. America needs more of this.
It was the week that Oklahoma beat West Virginia by a score of 59-56 in a college football game in which neither team’s defense apparently ever took the field of play.
It was the week that yet another Obama-appointed federal judge ruled that President Trump, as opposed to all other presidents in U.S. history, lacks the authority clearly given to him in the text of the U.S. Constitution.
It was the week that the Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, the man who twisted himself into legalistic knots in order to impose Obamacare on our populace, lied to the American public by claiming there is no difference between an “Obama judge” and the judges appointed by other presidents. Shame, Justice Roberts, shame on you.
It was the week when the White House Correspondents Association ended the tradition of having a bad comedian speak at its annual Dinner, giving yet another win to Donald J. Trump.
It was the week that our fake news media invested tons of its air and print time once again trying to convince the American people to care about the killing of a radical Islamist blogger who used to go to dinner parties hosted by editors at the Washington Post. The effort failed. Again.
It was the week that President Trump correctly chose to refuse to destroy our country’s key strategic relationship with Saudi Arabia over the killing of a radical Islamist blogger who the Saudi government considered to be an enemy of the state.
It was the week that Broward County’s Supervisor of Elections, Brenda Snipes, having tried and failed to steal the state’s senate election for Democrat Bill Nelson and the governor’s election for Democrat Andrew Gillum, tendered her resignation in disgrace. Now, if there is still any justice left in Florida, she will be prosecuted.
It was the week that Democrats expressed their outrage at all the subsidies and tax breaks given by the states of New York and Virginia to secure the new Amazon regional headquarters sites, while in their next breath confirming their support for subsidies and tax breaks for solar and wind power and billionaire Elon Musk. *sigh*
It was the week that British Prime Minister Theresa May took her “Brexit” deal to European Union headquarters, a deal that will essentially keep Britain under the EU’s despotic thumb. To no one’s surprise, the EU approved. Sellout is Theresa May’s middle name.
It was the week that French Prime Minister Emmanuel Macron, barely a week removed from denouncing Donald Trump and populism at a summit conference in Paris, saw riots break out on the streets of Paris and his personal approval rating fall to below 20%.
Meanwhile, in America, it was the week that President Trump saw his approval rating in the daily Rasmussen survey tick up to 51% and stay there.

There’s a message in there somewhere – wonder if the Boy Prince of Paris can see it through all the smoke rising along the Champs Elysee’?

This Past Week was President Trump Keeping his Promises

Well, the day of decision is here, the time to decide whether you are going to stick with President Donald Trump all the way. The fake news media and the Democrats, along with establishment Republican warmongers like John McCain, Jeff Flake and Bob Corker, are throwing everything they have at the President and his supporters, now going full ahead with the contention that supporting the man who was elected in 2016 is tantamount to treason.

The fuse that touched off the latest – and most intense to date – explosion of leftist, establishment, globalist heads in Washington was, of course, the President’s press conference performance as his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin came to a close. Mr. Trump’s sin, as I pointed out last night, was to publicly question the veracity of the allegations of Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. elections contained in indictments brought down by a proven liar and stonewaller, Rod Rosenstein, and a Special Counsel’s office filled with Clinton/Obama activist hacks. Those indictments were ostensibly based on information compiled by an FBI led by the likes of proven liars like Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok and James Comey.

Hard to imagine why anyone would question the work product of such a sterling cast of characters, right?

If the U.S. intelligence community wants to command the respect of the American people, then it might be a good idea for it to stop working against the interests and the will of the American people. It might be a good idea to stop sending clear, practiced, transparent liars like Rosenstein and Strzok up to represent it in open congressional hearings. It might be a good idea to start complying with information requests from congressional committees trying to perform the oversight responsibilities mandated to them in the Constitution. It might have been a good idea for Mr. Mueller to avoid filling his staff with partisan hacks.

In order to command respect, these myriad alphabet agencies should work on earning it. What a concept.

But the presser with Putin was just the conclusion of a week filled with events and presidential actions and statements that the leftist, globalist, DC establishment detests, actions that President Trump promised to take throughout the 2016 campaign that ended with his victory over the establishment’s preferred sock puppet, Hillary Clinton. Those actions included the President pointing out the reality, in clear and blunt terms, that NATO is a long-outdated and costly organization populated mainly by deadbeat European countries who refuse to fulfill their financial obligations.

Those actions included calling out Germany for agreeing to partner with Russia – the ostensible “threat” against which NATO is supposedly there to defend – on a multi-billion dollar natural gas pipeline project. Those actions included blunt and honest talk about the long abuse of unfair tariffs on U.S. goods by EU nations, and their desire to continue their practice.

Those actions included the President talking about U.S./Russia cooperation with our allies in Israel to ensure Iranian troops and militia in Syria are kept away from the Golan Heights. They also included Trump’s ongoing commitment to bring our military personnel home from the Syrian hellhole once ISIS has been wiped off the face of the earth, another cooperative effort with Russia that is about 98% complete. And finally, they included conciliatory public statements towards Putin and Russia (we can be sure he was more forceful and pointed with Putin during their private meeting) in an effort to begin establishing an actual, productive working relationship with the world’s other major nuclear power.

Again, what a concept.

Throughout his 2016 campaign, Mr. Trump proved he was a disciple of the likes of George Washington and Dwight Eisenhower, warning against the needless perpetuation of our military ventures all over the world, many of whose roots go all the way back to World War II. I end up saying this so often in these Campaign Updates, but I’ll say this again: None of the things President Trump said and did over this past week in Europe should have come as any surprise at all to anyone who actually has a desire to understand him. Which of course excludes all Democrats and fake news reporters and warmongering GOP senators.

This is Donald Trump keeping his campaign promises. He made them repeatedly and without nuance – because he’s pretty much incapable of nuance, after all – and he fully intends to carry them out, just as he has gone about carrying out all of his other campaign promises.

To a large extent, it is Trump’s hyper-focus on keeping the promises he made to the American people that makes him such a foreign, almost alien-seeming entity to the corrupt, globalist DC establishment and fake news media. They have all become so accustomed to having politicians who say all sorts of stuff to get elected, but then come to DC and just bend to the will of the embedded deep state that they just don’t know how to react to anyone whose behavior doesn’t conform to the DC Borg’s hive mind.

Everything President Trump said and did over this past week were things he promised to do, repeatedly and clearly, throughout the 2016 campaign that got him elected. The corrupt, globalist DC establishment is incredibly upset that it cannot contain him, and is now refocusing its sights not only on the President, but on his supporters as well.

Supporting Donald Trump was never going to be an easy thing, because he was elected to clean out the greatest den of corruption and sleaze ever created by American society. He has made an amazing amount of progress in a very short period of time, but there is so much more that remains to be done. The more he pushes, the harder the deep state establishment and its media minions will fight back, so this is only going to become harder still.

If you abandon him now, they win. It’s really that simple.

Trump and Putin Meet, DC Establishment Throws a Fit

Yes, Virginia, the fake news media is the enemy of the people. – In an interview with CBS that aired on Sunday, President Donald Trump said this in response to a question about who are America’s “foes”?:

“Well, I think we have a lot of foes. I think the European Union is a foe, what they do to us in trade. Now, you wouldn’t think of the European Union, but they’re a foe. Russia is foe in certain respects. China is a foe economically, certainly they are a foe. But that doesn’t mean they are bad. It doesn’t mean anything. It means that they are competitive,” Mr. Trump said at his golf club in Turnberry, Scotland.

“I respect the leaders of those countries. But, in a trade sense, they’ve really taken advantage of us and many of those countries are in NATO and they weren’t paying their bills,” he added.

This very specific and very true statement about the long-time unfair tariff treatment of U.S. goods by the EU and others immediately got turned into headlines in pretty much every fake news outlet in the U.S. and Europe blaring “TRUMP CALLS EU THE ENEMY!!!!!!!”

This is just one in a long line of literally thousands of instances over the last 20 months of the fake news media intentionally lying about what this President actually said in a blatant, intentional effort to sow conflict and discord among the American people and drive another wedge between the U.S. and its allies, purely for the envisioned political gain of the Democrat Party.

Note to fake journalists: If you don’t like being called the enemy of the people by the President of the United States, stop being the enemy of the people.

But the fake news media tactic failed, at least with EU Chancellor Donald Tusk, who responded to all the fake headlines by saying “America and the EU are best friends. Whoever says we are foes is spreading fake news.”

The media tactic predictably worked a little better with Germany, though, as Foreign Minister Heiko Maas responded with “We can no longer completely rely on the White House. To maintain our partnership with the USA we must readjust it. The first clear consequence can only be that we need to align ourselves even more closely in Europe.” Which is perfectly fine with President Trump, by the way. If Germany thinks it can maintain its economy by doubling down on its unfair trade practices with the U.S. – by far its largest trading partner – and make up the difference from the comparatively tiny markets in Europe, then they should go for it. They won’t like the end results, however.

Look, our fake news media in the United States is too dimwitted to ever understand it, and too captive to the Democrats to ever admit it, but President Trump’s entire interactions with the members of the EU on this trip – from his face to face meetings to his press statements and interviews to his messages sent out on Twitter – all had a single goal: Negotiating better deals for America and Americans. Better deals on trade, and a better deal within NATO, where almost all of our European “friends” have been wandering into America’s living room drunk and crashing on the American couch without paying any bills for too damn long.

These European nations are not America’s “enemies”, and the President never said they were. They have long been and continue to be our “foes” on matters of international trade, however, and deadbeats on paying the huge NATO tab. Everything this President says is said with intent and for a purpose. If Germany now thinks it can’t rely on the U.S. to continue footing the bill for its national defense – a bill we have footed for 73 long years now – that’s exactly what Mr. Trump wants Germany to think.

By the same token, while the fake news media has coordinated with Rod Rosenstein and Robert Mueller to poison the atmosphere for President Trump’s meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin that is beginning as I type this piece, there is no real reason for Russia to be America’s “enemy,” either. Russia will always be America’s “foe” – that dynamic is the product of a century of rank hostility by the old Soviet Union, corrupt actions by current Russian leadership and rank mis-management by every U.S. President since George H.W. Bush left office.

Making the situation even more difficult for the President, America’s political establishment and fake news media – including many war-mongering Republicans like John McCain – continue to seem intent upon forcing the U.S. ultimately into a shooting war with the Russian Republic, for reasons that continue to mystify many observers. These people have been literally panicked at the very thought of a U.S. President attempting to establish a more productive relationship with his Russian counterpart.

As you watch the hysterical fake coverage of the summit, ponder why these people are so dead set against the United States having better, peaceful relations with Russia. Ask yourself this question: Where on the face of the earth is Russia anything resembling a real threat to America’s well-being? Their nuclear arsenal is an obvious answer, but guess what? Our own nuclear arsenal constitutes a real threat to the well-being of every Russian, too. And guess what was the first thing President Trump said he wants to get out of this meeting in his opening statement this morning? A commitment by both nations to reduce their nuclear arsenals, which constitute more than 90 percent of all the nuclear weapons on the face of the earth.

There goes that awful Donald Trump again, trying to negotiate a better deal for America and Americans.

Other than that, where is Russia a real threat to the national security of the United States of America? If you’re honest, there really is no answer to that question. So, why all the hysteria from the Washington establishment and our fake news media?

Here’s an answer everyone should take seriously: These people fear peace. They fear a lack of conflict, a lack of division, a lack of…wait for it…fear on the part of the American people. Because fear is the source of their power, the source of their prosperity, the source of their ability to make their livings.

President Donald Trump does not fear peace, and is not a captive of the Washington establishment. It’s been 30 long years since America had such a person in that office.

Be glad.
