This made my eyes water up a bit. – Here is a poem Sen. Orrin Hatch wrote to George and Barbara Bush in January 2013:

For those who can’t read the handwriting, here is the text:

You are resplendent in years
and worth all the tears
as we worry
and hurry

Speaking of Bush 41… – All Americans should commend the late President and his family for not using this week of mourning and remembrance as an occasion for lashing out and settling of grudges, as the McCain family did a few months ago. But then, the Bushes are just a different class of people, aren’t they?

Never one to hold a grudge, Bush 41 insisted that President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump be invited to attend his funeral, for the simple reason that that is the gracious and proper thing to do. You can be sure that the eulogies delivered at the service will not be filled with bitterness and potshots taken at the current President, because that is not how the Bush family has ever done things. Again, just a different class of people.

The same cannot be said for our fake news media, sadly. It is as tiresome as it was predictable that the very same media outlets – and many of the same ageing on-air personalities – who demonized George H. W. Bush while he was Vice President and President have taken the occasion of his passing to pretend to have loved him while using it as an excuse to take shots at Donald Trump.

Even Fox News is participating in this sham. I had to just turn the television off yesterday evening as Bret Baier decided it would be a great idea to spend 10 minutes letting the execrable hacks Juan Williams and Mara Liasson go on and on about how “gracious” they always thought Poppy Bush was. That’s certainly a far cry from the despicable things Williams had to say about him while he was in office serving this country.

The reality is that Bush 41, like every other Republican in modern times, had an extremely contentious relationship with the media, which was almost as fake 30 years ago as it is today. At one point in his 1988 campaign he went so far as to ban Newsweek from traveling on his campaign plane due to that particular outlet’s absurdly biased coverage of him. And who will ever forget Poppy’s on-air shouting match with then-CBS News anchor Dan Rather in January 1988?

These were not people and organizations who loved and respected George Bush then, and they only feign love and respect for him now as a cheap means of attacking the current President.

That’s a truth that we all should keep in mind as this week rolls along and the rank hypocrisy emanating from our TV screens turns increasingly putrid.

What? Our fake news media misleading the public on the reasons for all the rioting? How can this be? Oh, wait, nevermind.

NBC attempted to cast the rioters’ rage as class warfare over policies that favor the rich over the poor. ABC told its viewers the riots were caused by a simple “fuel tax”. Neither network dared mention the truth about these riots, which is that they are a backlash against taxes on carbon being imposed thanks to the French government’s commitments made under the Paris Climate Accords.

And guess what? The French are not the only people who are rejecting government efforts to seize their money and property as a fool’s means of “doing something” to fight the nebulous concept of “climate change.”

One of the main reasons why Angela Merkel is stepping down as Chancellor of Germany in the coming months is because the population there has become enraged by the massively higher utility costs imposed on them by Merkel’s Energiewende initiative that attempted to transform the country’s power sector from burning coal to getting electricity from hundreds of thousands of giant windmills.

In Canada, the province of Ontario is suing to halt the imposition of a federal carbon tax that child Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is attempting to impose, a tax that threatens to destroy that country’s economy. Just a few weeks ago, the voters in Washington State resoundingly rejected the Democrat-controlled government’s attempt to impose what would have been the first statewide carbon tax in the United States.

The riots in Paris are just the latest signal that we are coming to a real inflection point in the global climate scam. The Globalist community latched onto what they first called “global warming” and later shifted to “climate change” 30 years ago as their newest rationalization for the imposition of worldwide socialism. It is no accident at all that literally every proposed “solution” to “climate change” for the last three decades involves seizing the money and property of individuals so that the ruling class can “do something” about the “problem,” a problem which constantly evolves and which they can never seem to quite describe in a way the average person can understand.

But despite their increasingly shrill and desperate efforts at brainwashing, the public has never embraced this “climate change” as an issue of major concern. In every poll taken that asks voters to list the issues they are most concerned about, “climate change” always, without exception, ranks at or near the bottom.

And in reality, the globalists don’t even buy into their own rhetoric. As I pointed out yesterday, not one single signatory nation to the Paris Accords has met its emissions reductions obligations as of this point. Not one. Most of those countries – which includes every country on earth except the United States – have in fact seen their emissions rise significantly. They don’t even buy their own BS.

So, as all the elitist globalists flew on their carbon-emitting private jets into Poland for their latest multi-million dollar climate conference boondoggle, they were faced with 30 years of frustration at their efforts to impose socialist “solutions” and a growing backlash coming from those being imposed upon. This is where things become dangerous because history tells us that when leftists become frustrated, their sense of entitlement tends to turn them violent. We have certainly seen that here in America over the last two years, with the Democrat Party basically creating the violent Antifa movement following the 2016 elections.

Make no mistake about it: A few election losses and some riots in Paris will not deter these people. They believe they basically have a “divine right” to rule, and in their minds, any means are justified by the ends.

Stay vigilant.
