Bombshell: Devin Nunes Reveals a Key Point About Obamagate

As is his custom as chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, do-nothing South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham dribbled out some new information about ObamaGate yesterday, information that amounts to far too little, far too late for it to become any real benefit to the republic’s ultimate survival. Why Sen. Graham has waited this long to release this particular tranche of documents is anyone’s guess – there are possible explanations, both innocent and not-so-innocent.

Regardless, the release is worth noting because the declassified FBI records clearly establish the fact that the FBI and band of Mueller thugs knew full well that the Steele Dossier was a fraud very early on, but continued to use it to defraud the FISA court on multiple occasions.

Here’s the released documents:

That release led the guest host of Sean Hannity’s Tick-Tock hour on Fox News last night, Tammy Bruce, to bring on journalist John Solomon and intrepid Congressman Devin Nunes to discuss the importance of these documents. While Solomon and Bruce skirt around the central issue, Nunes, as is his habit, keeps his eye squarely on the ball that really matters.

Here’s a clip, followed by a transcript of Cong. Nunes’s comments:

Transcript – Watch and listen as Bruce interrupts Nunes the moment he starts to point out the most crucial point in all of this – Nunes starts at about the 1:50 mark):

Nunes: Well, I think to correct [John Solomon’s call for a Durham “report”], uh, I’m not too interested in a Durham “report.” I would like to know everything for the four-plus years that went on, including even the Mueller investigation, but really what we want is, we want indictments.

We’ve made 14 criminal referrals, we have another investigation that is ongoing. I would say the takeaway I have tonight – John hit it on the head with those 3 important topics – but also, we have suspected for a very long time that Steele had only 2 Russians [sources]. But, we believe they were actually kind of “real” Russians, but he didn’t really know them.

And the question is, how was it that Steele supposedly “found” these Russians and was able to use them? We’ve asked the FBI and the CIA about these Russians – I’ve said for a long time we’re interested in 2 Russians – and this won’t surprise you: They have yet to allow us access to these 2 Russians, who we know [interrupted by Bruce so you can barely hear this] are now living in the United States.

[End]

Now, Ms. Bruce might have interrupted Nunes at that crucial moment simply because she was running up against a commercial break. Or maybe, just maybe, she had a producer screaming in her ear to make Nunes stop because he was getting into an area that the CIA does not want to have discussed on national television.

Think about this: The 2 Russian sources for the Steele Dossier are now living in the United States of America? How, pray tell, would that happen, other than under the auspices of some agency or another of the federal government? Why would the CIA, the DOJ and/or the FBI want to be keeping these 2 specific Russians safely under wraps?

Two possible explanations come to mind: a) Because these 2 Russians are spilling their guts to Mr. Durham and his investigators, or b) because the CIA under John Brennan was intimately involved in Spygate/Obamagate and the initial compiling of that Steele Dossier on behalf of the Clinton Campaign and the DNC.

On that latter possibility, it’s fair to remember that Steele himself is a British spy who was based in London at the time he was compiling that fake dossier, and that current CIA Director Gina Haspel happened to be the head of the CIA’s London office during that same time.

Oh.

We should also remember this key fact: Nunes knows where all of these bodies are buried. Remember, he was the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee during 2017-18, and he has already seen all of these documents long ago. He is not just speculating for fun in this TV appearance – he knows how Steel was linked up with those 2 Russians and he knows how and why they are currently living in the United States.

He is clearly sending a message here. Pray that he has strong security around him.

That is all.

The Deep State Fears Ric Grenell, and it Shows

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

The real reason for Ric Grenell’s appointment as Acting DNI becomes clear. – As Democrats and their corrupt media toadies were scrambling to find some way, any way, to kill off the surging Bernie Sanders campaign, Acting DNI Ric Grenell was moving quickly behind the scenes to finally, at long last identify and rid the Trump Administration of all the Deep State snakes in the Intelligence Community.

Deep State hack Adam Goldman and two other fake reporters at the New York Times published  a panicked piece about Grenell’s actions thus far, complete with all the anti-Trump code language and outright lies we have all learned to know and love from the Times. Here’s a snippet from the top of that piece:

Richard Grenell’s tenure as the nation’s top intelligence official may be short-lived, but he wasted no time this week starting to shape his team of advisers, ousting his office’s No. 2 official — a longtime intelligence officer — and bringing in an expert on Trump conspiracy theories to help lead the agency, according to officials.

Mr. Grenell has also requested the intelligence behind the classified briefing last week before the House Intelligence Committee where officials told lawmakers that Russia was interfering in November’s presidential election and that President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia favored President Trump’s re-election. The briefing later prompted Mr. Trump’s anger as he complained that Democrats would use it against him.

That “expert on Trump conspiracy theories” is none other than…

Kashyap Patel, a senior National Security Council staff member and former key aide to Representative Devin Nunes, Republican of California and the former chairman of the House Intelligence Committee. Mr. Patel will have a mandate to “clean house,” CBS News reported, citing a person close to the matter.

Patel was the key aide who helped Nunes first discover the illegal spying operations by the FBI and the Intelligence Community (IC) against the Trump Campaign and Transition team in 2016, and the fact that the spying ops were ongoing even after Mr. Trump had been sworn into office. Goldman and his fellow hacks detest Patel because he represents a clear and present danger to their Deep State controllers; thus, they slander him in their piece. Typical New York Times hackery.

A few days prior to the appointment of Grenell to the DNI post, President Trump made another key move, appointing Johnny McEntee to run the White House personnel office. This is the office that is responsible for identifying and vetting candidates to fill the hundreds of top political jobs throughout the various federal agencies.

Under prior leadership, it has been an office that has utterly failed to do its job, as many political appointees have turned out to be disloyal skunks themselves. As reported by Axios, McEntee has wasted no time in getting moving in his new assignment:

Johnny McEntee called in White House liaisons from cabinet agencies for an introductory meeting Thursday, in which he asked them to identify political appointees across the U.S. government who are believed to be anti-Trump, three sources familiar with the meeting tell Axios.

Behind the scenes: McEntee, a 29-year-old former body man to Trump who was fired in 2018 by then-Chief of Staff John Kelly but recently rehired — and promoted to head the presidential personnel office — foreshadowed sweeping personnel changes across government.

  • But McEntee suggested the most dramatic changes may have to wait until after the November election.
  • Trump has empowered McEntee — whom he considers an absolute loyalist — to purge the “bad people” and “Deep State.”
  • McEntee told staff that those identified as anti-Trump will no longer get promotions by shifting them around agencies.

Back to Patel. Catherine Herridge, the great former Fox News reporter who moved over to CBS late last year, is reporting that his assignment, directly from President Trump, is to “clean house”:

While most of the truly heavy lifting in that effort may have to wait until after the November election, no part of our government needs a thorough house-cleaning than the IC. Frankly, even that may not turn out to be adequate as, as we have clearly seen over the last three years, our intel agencies are infested with disloyal snakes from top to bottom.

Despicable former CIA Director John Brennan, in one of his paid appearances on MSNBC, said that what is happening now is a “decapitation” of our intelligence community:

If so, the more decapitation, the better. A decapitation is exactly what the IC needs. Followed by a complete gutting, decommissioning and reorganization.

President Trump has said he is considering 4 candidates to ultimately be nominated to serve as the permanent, Senate-confirmed DNI. If he is unable to convince the corrupt Senate Committee on Intelligence to confirm someone he can trust in that role, then he should simply continue appointing Acting DNIs every 200 days until the job of cleaning out the snakepits that make up the IC is completed. If that takes all the way through his second term, so be it.

That is all.

Is there a ‘Truth-Telling Trend’ on the Horizon for 2020?

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

…”CREATIVES”  WHO PRIDED THEMSELVES ON THINKING “OUTSIDE THE BOX” ARE NOW THE FIRST ONES TO TRY TO PUT YOU IN THAT BOX.

Hollywood Director Terry Gilliam recently had the temerity to say he’s ‘tired’ of white men being blamed for everything that is wrong in the world.”

Predictable gasps are still being heard from Hollywood, Washington, and the Leftist Media establishment as they plot to destroy his career, his reputation and his life.

We’ve watched this pattern again and again. The more breathlessly the sanctimonious Left claims offense, the more likely they are guilty of precisely that offense.

On the heels of the Gilliam moment, we have a “Gervais moment.”  Ricky Gervais is currently the toast of flyover country for his scathing rebuke of Hollywood hypocrisy at The Golden Globe Awards.

Many of us had stopped watching those self-congratulatory lecture-fests a long time ago, but the video of his opening monologue is everywhere.  If you haven’t seen it yet, take a look. It’s a delicious, belated Christmas present.

In a country that has stood as a beacon to the rights and traditions of free expression,  it has been heartbreaking to see how much courage is required by an individual these days, simply to tell the truth as he or she sees it.  Of course, that’s only if it doesn’t comport with Leftist orthodoxy.  If you tout hate for history, Donald Trump, Conservatives (you know the list) or for America, you get free reign—even to the point of pummeling a 14-year-old kid wearing a MAGA hat on a subway train.

How did we get here?  While we were doing other things, America became the land of the freely offended and the home of the brave new world—where the same “creatives” who formerly prided themselves on thinking “outside the box” are now the first ones to try put you in that box.

With the New Year, it looks like that caldron of hypocrisy has finally begun to boil over.  In preparation for a raucus and rowdy election year, Americans are itching for a major comeuppance – from Barr, and from Durham, from McConnell and from Nunes, from Dancer, and Prancer, and of course, from one of the all-time greatest in the comeuppance business, Donald Trump.

The Left has cheered our enemies and trashed our country one too many times and it looks like everyday Americans are ready for the fight.

Is this the beginning of a trend?  If it isn’t, we can help make it one.  Let’s congratulate Gilliam and Gervais and start telling our own truth louder and more often than ever.  As we grow the numbers of those who defy the speech bullies we’ll get that pendulum swinging back toward freedom and the Rule of Law faster than ever.

Just like those gym commercials that are so abundant this time of year.  Speaking up and telling the truth is like a muscle. Use it or lose it.

Devin Nunes Warns America About the FBI and the FISA Courts

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

The most important video clip from Sunday morning’s talk shows were not the clips of the insipid Chris Wallace interviewing crooked James Comey and Bug-eyes Schiff. – Those were predictably soft-balled affairs conducted by a sympathetic hack who would be better at home on CNN or MSNBC. As a result of Wallace’s willingness to allow his two subjects to filibuster and deflect without any effective followup questioning, those interviews revealed nothing of real value.

No, the most important video clip from Sunday was Maria Bartiromo’s interview of California Republican Devin Nunes, who pulls no punches on the FBI, the DOJ, the FISA court and its judges, and on Comey.  First, the clip, which is eight minutes long, followed by a partial transcript of the highlights of Nunes’ remarks [Bartiromo’s questions/comments are paraphrased for brevity]:

Transcript:

Bartiromo: In March 2018, you came out with what is referred to as the Nunes Memo. That memo laid out the facts about the House Intelligence Committee’s findings in its investigation into the Justice Department’s abuse of the FISA process. Now we know that everything you said in that memo is true, thanks to the IG report. After you came out with that memo, you were mocked by the Democrats and the Media. Adam Schiff came out with his own memo disputing everything you had said. Tell us about the letter you sent to Adam Schiff this morning.

Nunes: Well, first off, we need to have a hearing with IG Horowitz next week. The longer that this goes on, the longer it takes for America to heal itself. The FISA court itself is in tremendous jeopardy. We cannot support the FISA court right now. The judges are refusing to take action against these dirty cops and dirty lawyers who did this.

That’s totally unacceptable, because remember, this is a secret court. The people who, like Carter Page, they have no recourse except for congress. This is why the House Intel Committee and Senate Intel Committee were created.

So, it’s important to take people back. It wasn’t just that we learned about this in February of 2018; House Republicans learned about this in the spring of 2017, at least the initial part, that the dossier had been used, the Clinton paid-for dirt. We then proved that the Clintons did pay for it, and the DNC did pay for it, in the Fall of 2017, and we knew that we had to get this information out to the American public. And that’s what led to us producing this memo in February of 2018, that the media helped cover up for it.

To get back to normalcy in this country we need a free and fair press, but we don’t have that today. We still have numerous members of the media – hundreds of them – who attack not only House Republicans for putting this out, but anyone else in the media who said, hey, maybe the Republicans have a point here, should’t we get to the bottom of it?

And remember, we spent a year saying these documents need to be declassified, and that would have ended it there. But instead, what happened is that the Democrats lied, and now they have put the American people in tremendous danger. The judges on the FISA court are putting the American people in danger.

The American people at the end of the day, we are not going to give up our liberty in order to have some court spy on political campaigns, and to use our counterintelligence capabilities to do that.

Bartiromo: One thing that we did not hear from the IG report was anything that happened before July, 2016. Jim Comey continues to claim the FBI launched its counterintelligence investigation in July, 2016. Yet, there is all this operational activity before that. We had informants running against Carter Page and George Papadopoulous as early as March. What can you tell us about this?

Nunes: Yeah, we are unsure about why Horowitz was unable to figure out what happened pre-July 31. But remember, the dirty cops at the FBI and the DOJ, over the last couple of years hid that from congress also. They would answer no questions. So, right there you have obstruction of a congressional investigation that ought to be held at the highest level, all of those people who blocked us from getting that information. Especially if we find out later that the FBI was involved in it.

Here’s what we know right now: We know that the spy ring that was created to target Carter Page, George Papadopoulous, Trump Campaign officials, this big spy ring that was spying on the Trump Campaign…before the FISA application in October, this was in August and September 2016, they’re getting miked up to record the conversations with the Trump Campaign members.

That same spy ring was already operational in Spring and early Summer of 2016. So look, I don’t know if the FBI was running it, I don’t know if some other government agency was running it, I don’t know if some foreign government was operating it. I mean, hell, for all I know, it was Putin and Russia and the Ukrainians since that seems to be the blame for everything that happens wrong at the FBI, the DOJ or the Democratic Party when they lose elections.

I don’t know who the hell was running the spy ring, but I want to know, and the American people need to know, and that’s what John Durham is trying to figure out and I’m glad he’s there.

Bartiromo: Give us an update on your libel lawsuit against CNN. Last time we asked you – a week and a half ago – you had served them in the suit but you hadn’t heard back from them. Give us an update on that.

Nunes: Well, as predicted, they’re refusing to come to the table to work this out. And the defamation and the reckless disregard for the truth continues. Remember: Any Republican who didn’t go along with media narrative first was accused of being in the Putin puppets and Russian spies. Now, if you talked to a Ukrainian, that’s a problem, and if you talked to the former Mayor of New York, Rudy Giuliani, that’s an even bigger problem. You can’t make this stuff up.

But what CNN did, and the timing that they did that to create tremendous damage not only to me, but to my fellow Republicans in congress, this was to create a new media narrative that Republicans couldn’t be trusted because we were having secret meetings in Vienna with shady Ukrainians, ok? Great story, CNN, it’s great for Hollywood, it would be great for some sitcom at Fox possibly, but when it’s…

Bartiromo: You haven’t had heard back from them…

Nunes: …it didn’t happen.

Bartiromo: Before you go, Comey is out this morning saying ‘I was wrong. I was overconfident in the procedures that the FBI and Justice had built over 20 years. I thought they were robust enough – it’s incredibly hard to get a FISA, and I was confident in those. But he was right, and there was real sloppiness. 17 things that should have been in the application or were discussed should have been characterized differently, and it was unacceptable.’ This is what Comey is saying this morning.

Nunes: Yeah, well, look, Comey, who cares what he says, right? He already knew that the Dossier was salacious and unverified, at least that’s what he testified to us in early 2017. He knew that had been used in the FISA, he knew that what he called it in Bret Baier’s interview, he called it a ‘mosaic of facts,’ he knew what the rest of those facts were. He knew that it was the dirty Dossier, he knew it was fake news articles that were planted by Fusion GPS and Democrat operatives, and he knew the spying had already occurred.

Bartiromo: So he lied.

Nunes: Perhaps the only thing he didn’t know was there was exculpatory evidence, that would be the only thing, but he knew the rest of it. I mean, he’s lied so many times, you could take a whole IG report and make about a thousand pages of the Comey lies.

Bartiromo: Congressman, it’s good to see you this morning.

[End]

The main thing to know about Nunes is that he, more than any other member of congress, knows where all the bodies are buried in all of this, and he is obviously getting tired of the long and drawn out process of getting the truth out to the American people. Schiff also knows where most, if not all of those bodies are buried, but as we have seen, Schiff is just focused on lying about all of it to protect his political party and the deep state dirty cops at the FBI.

This interview was the guy who knows more than anyone else about all of this sounding the alarm to the public about the FISA courts and what he calls the “dirty cops” who abuse them to spy on American citizens. We ignore his warnings at our own peril.

That is all.

Why GOP Voters Should be Proud of Their House Members Today

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

During the lead-up to the 2016 elections, I repeatedly wrote that, as a class, Republicans in the House and Senate were the single most hated element of the DC Swamp. This was because of their repeated collective failures to live up to the promises they had made to voters in getting elected.

On the campaign trail, House and Senate Republicans sounded like Ronald Reagan, promising to go to Washington and beat up on those Democrats and President Obama, promising to get rid of the Obamacare atrocity, promising to rein in Obama’s regulatory reign of terror, promising to use the filibuster and the parliamentary process in the House to force Democrats to pass real budget bills instead of agreeing to just another continuing resolution, promising to rebuild the military and get our young men and women out of the myriad Middle East and African civil wars Presidents Bush and Obama had gotten them entangled in.

But once safely in office, all those promises and many, many more were quickly forgotten, as congressional Republicans immersed themselves in the corrupt ways of the Swamp and became utter cowards when it came to casting principled votes out of fear that they might get negative attention from the corrupt news media. But their disloyal, unprincipled and cowardly behavior brought them nothing but scorn and contempt from those they were trying to please: They became hated by the Democrats, hated by the corrupt news media, and yes, hated even by their own voters, voters who only continued voting for them because the alternative – voting for a Democrat – was too repugnant to contemplate. Better to vote for a coward than for a Marxist Alinskyite.

Ok, now that I’ve had the catharsis of getting all of that out my system, here’s why you Republican voters should be proud of your house members today: Because, to a man, and to a woman, they all did their damn jobs throughout throughout the Democrats’ Soviet-style impeachment clown show. Oh, Texas congressman Will Hurd had a shaky moment early on, but even he ended up coming around to realizing that Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi were abusing their power like no one in the nation’s capital had ever done before, and got with the program.

Hey, for once the Republicans actually had a program to get with. An aggressive, no-nonsense, call a clown a clown strategy for giving no ground to Schiff and his fraudulent, corrupt process. An aggressive, no-fear strategy of staying on-message with the corrupt Democrat media toadies and for pointedly calling them out when they lied in their reporting, which of course, happened constantly.

Devin Nunes and Doug Collins, as ranking GOP members on the House Intel and House Judiciary Committees, respectively, were stellar, scorching the earth and the hides of Schiff and Jabba the Nadler with every opening and closing statement. Both men managed their committee members and their questioning time perfectly throughout, and the results were spectacular.

Both Jim Jordan of Ohio and John Ratcliffe of Texas did double duty as members of both committees, and all conservatives should be incredibly grateful for those two men. Jordan was fantastic in capitalizing on the utter absurdities of the parade of hearsay gossips who showed up as “witnesses” before the committee, rendering them all human pin cushions by the time he was done with them. Ratcliffe, a former federal prosecutor himself, was more subdued but equally effective in consistently pinpointing the legal holes in the Democrats’ case and tying several of the witnesses up in knots of logic they could not untie.

Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz utterly and completely decimated the Democrats’ despicable Alinskyite Lawfare lawyer, Daniel Goldman, making him look like an 8 year-old being lectured in the Principal’s office for all to see on national television. It was a moment of TV beauty that deserves to be seen again here:

These guys were all members we expected to shine going in. But the hearings were filled with some new stars, too. Like Chris Stewart of Utah, one of the finest human beings serving in congress today, who time after time providing piercing and pointed questioning that brought Schiff’s array of haughty gossip witnesses crashing down to earth. Michael Turner of Ohio was another relatively unknown member who took apart several witnesses and battled fiercely with the imperious Schiff on several points of order. Louie Gohmert of Texas and Arizona’s Andy Biggs also had great moments in limited duty on the Judiciary Comittee.

And then there was Elise Stefanik, the 35 year-old who represents the 21st district of New York, who may have been the star of the show. Combative, pointed, smart, and fearless of the vicious attacks from the press that she surely knew would come, Stefanik emerged from this process as one of the true rising stars not just in the House, but in the Republican Party. Expect her to have a prominent speaking role at next year’s GOP National Convention.

Going into this impeachment farce, seasoned observers of House Republicans had every reason to be nervous, to expect them to be completely disorganized and ineffective. After all, under Boehner and Paul Ryan’s non-leadership, we had seen this story so many times before.

But they came in with a clear and highly-organized plan with two main objectives: 1) dismantle Schiff/Pelosi/Nadler’s fraudulent case, and 2) do so in a way that would hold the Trump support base together.

The fact that they were successful in achieving both objectives is a credit to the leadership of House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy. His leadership made success possible. Be thankful Paul Ryan is spending his time these days trying to screw up Fox News – had he still been Minority Leader there is no telling how badly this all would have gone.

So, I know it’s hard for many of us, but be happy, Republican voters. You finally have leadership in the House of Representatives you can be proud of. If things go half as well in the Senate, Election Day 2020 will be a great day for America indeed.

That is all.

Lindsey Graham: I’m Gonna End This as Quickly as I Can for the Good of the Country

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Sen. Lindsey Graham turned up on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo earlier today. He only did one segment, but a lot was said about the impeachment process. Graham, as is his habit, tossed out a lot of red meat that will infuriate some observers and please others, and vice versa. He got all sides covered, as usual.

His basic message was this: Impeachment is tearing the country apart, and because of that he is not going to extend it by doing things like allowing the President of the United States to call the witnesses he wants, or to force Adam Schiff to testify under oath about his pre-dealings with Eric Ciaramella, who everyone knows is the fake whistleblower who kicked this whole thing off. There will be no testimony from Hunter Biden or Joe Biden or Alexandra Chalupa or anyone else, if Graham has his way.

Graham’s grand plan is to – I kid you not – give the Democrats one more bite at the apple, allow them to present their slanderous joke of a “case” on national TV one more time, and then hold a vote if he has 51 Senators who will vote “yay” or “nay.” He promises the President will be acquitted, but with this guy, who really knows?

Below is a clip of Graham’s interview with Bartiromo, followed by a transcript provided after great and laborious effort for our voracious readers by your friends at the Campaign Update. Judge Sen. Graham’s intentions for yourselves.

Transcript:

Bartiromo plays clip of Graham on November 10, lambasting Schiff and House Dems for not allowing the “whistleblower” – CIA plant Eric Ciaramella – to testify, and saying that impeachment is “dead on arrival” when it lands in the Senate, largely as a result of that failure.

Bartiromo: You said that to me a few weeks ago – does it still apply today?

Graham: Well, the whole process is illegitimate in the house. It’s not just the whistleblower. You don’t want to create a situation where an anonymous person can start impeachment proceedings against a president of the United States. You can’t get a parking ticket based on an anonymous allegation. The hearings were held behind closed doors, the Intel committee gathered all the facts, the President’s lawyer was never allowed to participate, they asked to call witnesses in the Judiciary committee, they had one hearing of the Judiciary committee with 4 law professors and Nancy Pelosi said we’re gonna move forward with the articles of impeachment.

This is a joke of a process. It’s dangerous to the country, it’s the first impeachment scenario in the country started in-house, not with outside counsel.  Whitewater – Prosecutor Ken Starr. You had Mueller looking at all things Russia and Trump, you had prosecutors in the Nixon case, outside the system.  This is being driven by Schiff and Nadler, Pelosi – partisan people – and I think it’s gonna meet a quick end in the Senate.

Bartiromo: Who are some of the people you are gonna want to hear from if in fact this does go to a trial?  Are you gonna demand that people like the whistleblower, Adam Schiff, Alexandra Chalupa, Fusion GPS – are these some of the people you’re gonna want to question?

Graham: There’s two ways to do this. In the trial, you can have the President present a defense to prove the fact that maybe the Ukraine was interfering in our election. The Russians stole the emails, not the Ukraine, but there’s articles suggesting that Ukrainian officials met with Democratic operatives in 2016. I don’t know if that’s true.

But here’s what I’m gonna do with the trial: I’m gonna try to get this over as quickly as possible. Listen to what the house case…let them present their case, and if there’s nothing new and dramatic, I would be ready to vote and we can do all this other stuff through congressional oversight [which of course will never happen in Graham’s committee].

Bartiromo: So, are you saying you are not gonna have people come down and test…

Graham: I am saying that I’m gonna end this as quickly as I can for the good of the country. When 51 of us say we have heard enough, the trial is going to end. The President’s gonna be acquitted. He wanna call Schiff, he may wanna call Hunter Biden, he may wanna call Joe Biden, but here’s my advice to the President: If the Senate is ready to vote and ready to acquit you, you should celebrate that and we can look at this other stuff outside of impeachment. Impeachment is tearing the country apart, I don’t wanna give it any more credibility than it deserves.

Bartiromo: Well, it’s interesting that you say that, because for all of this time – yes, they’re trying to rush this through, the Democrats want to get this done before the end of the year, and before the Iowa Caucuses and before we learn more about the IG Report, and yet there seems to have been a wrecking ball thrown at our democracy with Adam Schiff getting peoples’ phone records…I mean, what do you think about that? Schiff getting the phone records of Devin Nunes, of John Solomon?

Graham: I think it’s dangerous. What he did was, I think, looking a Rudy, and Rudy made some calls to these folks…

Bartiromo:…so Rudy’s not allowed to make these phone calls???

Graham: No, he certainly can. But here’s what I would tell Adam Schiff: Do you really wanna start calling other members, Republicans, members of congress in oversight? Do you want me to call you to the Senate as part of Senate oversight? Where does this insanity go?

Bartiromo: So will you call him?

Graham: No I will not.

Bartiromo: Why?

Graham: ‘Cause I’m not gonna participate in things I think will destroy the country. I’m not gonna call a bunch of House members to come to the Senate as part of oversight. Now, if you’re a House member and you participated, you’re not subject, you’re not above the law, but we’re not gonna turn the Senate into a circus. And I would  tell Schiff: What you’re doing is very dangerous for the separation of powers here.

Bartiromo: Just the idea of getting that information into the public view, so that the public can start speculating, ‘oh, why did Giuliani make that call, and why was John Solomon on the phone with Giuliani,’ it’s…

Graham: Adam Schiff is doing a lot of damage to the country, and he needs to stop. Mueller spent two years and $25 million looking a Trump. This whole Ukrainian stuff is a joke. They got the money. The got the meeting with the President. They didn’t investigate Joe Biden or Hunter Biden. There is no ‘there’ there.

Bartiromo: I understand, but it’s not stopping, Senator. You say, he needs to stop, but it’s not, for three years he said ‘collusion’ is in plain sight.

Graham: Yeah, well the guy…

Bartiromo: Where’s the accountability for that? Let me hear your thoughts on the IG report, do you think that’s…

Graham: The accountability comes in November 2020 when the public sees what the House has done with their majority. They’ve spent all their time trying to destroy the Trump presidency, they’ve done nothing beneficial to the American people. You know who may be the most valuable player for the Republican Party in the 2020 election cycle? It’s Adam Schiff [who Lindsey refuses to call to testify].

Bartiromo: unh-huh.

[End]

Now, we could argue this either way. Graham’s argument that a quick resolution in the Senate is best for the country has merit: There is no question that this impeachment fiasco has been horrible for our country.

But to just call a vote after giving these despicable Democrats another nationally-televised chance to lay out their joke of a case? To do that without giving the accused a chance to defend himself by laying out a case of his own not only seems unfair, but also completely contrary to the American system of justice.

The very concept should be frankly offensive to Lindsey Graham, the former lawyer. But to Lindsey Graham the current politician, acolyte to the detestable John McCain – whose own hands are dirty in all of this – and longtime friend of Quid Pro Joe Biden, well, it no doubt sounds fantastic.

Bottom line: While this impeachment clown show has obviously been terrible for the country, what is really tearing our country apart is our ongoing bifurcated system of justice, which Graham’s proposed solution here would only serve to strengthen.

P.S.: No one should forget this moment from Graham and McCain:

Schiff’s Spying on Nunes Imperils All of Us

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

One presidential loser endorses another. – In years past, the endorsement by one former Democrat presidential nominee of a guy who is the current front-runner for the 2020 Democrat nomination would have seemed like  a bit of a non-event. After all, John Kerry and Joe Biden are old Senate colleagues who have been working together to destroy our nation from within for many decades now, so the endorsement by Kerry of his old running buddy on Thursday seems like a natural fit – one past loser endorsing a future loser, as it were.

But then you realize that Joe Biden is the father of ne’er-do-well son Hunter Biden, and Kerry is the stepfather of ne’er-do-well son Chris Heinz, and that both sons have profited to the tune of many, many millions of dollars in their shake-down schemes involving Ukraine and China, and suddenly the endorsement takes on a whole new, almost desperate dynamic, doesn’t it?

Why yes, yes it does. The more you know…

If you still don’t understand exactly how power-mad the Democrats in congress truly are, will the fact that they are now spying on and doxxing fellow members of congress help to convince you? – We here at the Campaign Update have repeatedly invoked comparisons of conduct of the ongoing impeachment clown show by Adam Schiff, Gerrold Nadler and Nancy Pelosi to the basement interrogations and show trials that we used think only happened in Stalinist Soviet Russia and other totalitarian regimes.

We have made those comparisons for good reason: Because they are entirely accurate, right down to Schiff’s conducting of witness interrogations in an actual basement and selectively leaking only the parts of the interviews he wanted for public consumption. Now we have news that we would have thought simply impossible in a constitutional republic just a handful of years ago, news that Schiff has actually been researching metadata records collected by the intelligence community and culling through it in an effort to spy on Republican members of congress.

Nunes appeared on Fox News with the constantly-interrupting Martha MacCallum on Thursday evening to explain exactly the process that Schiff used in his spying operation and the motives behind doing so. Given that the clip below contains subtitles for all the studious readers out there, I did not take the time to try to build a transcript of it:

It is important to understand exactly how unprecedented this situation is. Schiff’s actions, if they go unpunished by Pelosi and the Democrat-majority House “Ethics” Committee now set the precedent of a sitting Speaker approving one member of congress literally spying on the activities of another. It is completely beyond the pale. Sadly, they surely will go unpunished since the Dems on that Committee are every bit as corrupt as Schiff, and Schiff certainly had Pelosi’s approval before going down this road.

Schiff and Pelosi, by using this method – no doubt at the urging of their outside Lawfare Alynskyite lawyers – now open the door for future GOP majorities and speakers and committee chairs to employ the exact same sorts of tactics. Think of it as open warfare and imagine how the tensions and retaliatory actions will escalate over time.

Schiff and Pelosi also went after and received the records of journalist John Solomon, who has become a social outcast among his corrupt media peers for filing a series of extraordinarily well-sourced reports on the Ukraine situation, reports that actually follow the rules of ethical journalism that have been almost outlawed now in the corrupt national news media. Had Nunes and then-Speaker Paul Ryan gone after some hack at the New York Times during the previous two years, the media would have been in full outrage mode for years. But because this is a case of Democrats going after an actual working journalist, the response from the media establishment has been crickets.

This is a truly frightening development for our country. We now have the majority party in one house of congress actively spying on members of the minority party and members of the press, and placing the results of their spying into a formal committee report. Even more frightening is the fact that the press – which is supposed to serve as the public’s watchdog holding abusive politicians accountable – is as a group sitting in Pelosi’s lap begging her to give another scratch of its collective head with her gnarly fingers.

What this all tells us is that the Democrats and their media toadies view this impeachment effort as an all-or-nothing game. They view President Trump as a truly existential threat to their bases of power and corrupt way of life and are willing to go to any lengths to rid him from their midst.

Despite all the seemingly comforting words coming from some GOP members of the Senate, no one should just assume that the Republican majority there will hold together and kill this atrocity of an impeachment effort once it falls into their laps. After all, if the Democrats have no compunction against spying on their fellow members of the House, do you think they would hesitate for a moment to take similar actions against vulnerable GOP members of the Senate?

Remember: This is the party of the Clintons we are talking about here.

The next few months are a very dangerous time for our country. Don’t kid yourselves otherwise.

That is all.

Libel Suits Targeting Corrupt News Outlets Are Piling Up

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

One of the most pressing issues facing America today is finding some way to hold corrupt and out of control media outlets accountable for their intentional reporting of blatantly false information as part of their tireless efforts to support the agenda of the Democrat Party. Accomplishing this is very difficult given the state of U.S. law and the protections afforded the press under the first amendment.

As things stand today, seeking to punish these corrupt organizations via the libel laws is essentially the only route available to those they have abused, and it is a very tough road indeed. Regardless, some hardy souls and creative lawyers are making the effort.

On Friday evening, GOP congressman Devin Nunes announced he would soon be filing libel suits against both CNN and The Daily Beast, two of the most corrupt purveyors of fake news on the planet. The Daily Beast filed a report earlier this week alleging that Ukrainian operative Lev Parnas, who has been indicted in the U.S. on campaign finance technicalities,  claims that he helped Nunes set up meetings in which he obtained information about Ukraine during a European trip last November.

Nunes says the stories are blatantly and demonstrably false:

“These demonstrably false and scandalous stories published by the Daily Beast and CNN are the perfect example of defamation and reckless disregard for the truth,” Nunes told Breitbart News late Friday night. “Some political operative offered these fake stories to at least five different media outlets before finding someone irresponsible enough to publish them. I look forward to prosecuting these cases, including the media outlets, as well as the sources of their fake stories, to the fullest extent of the law. I intend to hold the Daily Beast and CNN accountable for their actions. They will find themselves in court soon after Thanksgiving.”

Because he has spent the past three years as a leader in the effort to expose the deep state coup cabal within the DOJ and FBI and also led the defense of President Trump during the past two weeks’ impeachment circus, Nunes has been the target of all manner of false reporting by these and other corrupt media organizations. It would be a great blessing for the nation if he could prove his case and win monstrous judgments against both CNN and The Daily Beast.

On Thursday, Covington Catholic High School student Nicolas Sandmann won a crucial judgment in his $275 million libel case against NBC Universal. The judge in that case, U.S. District Judge William Bertelsman, ruled that if NBC’s allegations that Sandmann “blocked” well-known leftist activist Nathan Phillips or “did not allow him to retreat” during their confrontation on the National Mall last year are false, then they are libelous.

As reported by Fox Business on Friday:

Video widely shared online showed Sandmann and Phillips standing close to each other, with Sandmann staring and at times smiling at Phillips as the man continued to beat on a drum. Both Phillips and Sandmann have said they were trying to defuse tensions rising among three groups on a day when Washington hosted both the anti-abortion March for Life, attended by Sandmann and his Covington Catholic High School classmates, and the Indigenous Peoples March.

You will remember that every corrupt fake news organization in America participated in a feeding frenzy following that confrontation in an effort to portray Sandmann and his classmates as a pack of rabid, privileged white kids who bullied a poor “native American” who was just minding his own business when they supposedly descended upon him. We quickly learned – and the video of the incident proved beyond all doubt – that it was in fact the kids who were minding their own business waiting for a bus to arrive to pick them up when Phillips, a notorious leftist agitator with a long history of aggressive behavior, descended on them.

Notably, Judge Bertelsman is also the presiding judge in Sandmann’s similar cases against CNN and the Washington Post, and has also ruled in Sandmann’s favor on these issues in those cases. With any luck, Sandmann will ultmately prevail in all three cases.

Who knows, given that CNN is already a money-losing proposition, maybe a couple of judgments totaling half a billion dollars or so would give its owners at AT&T cause to consider whether their ongoing support for CNN’s Goebbels-like fake news operation is worth bearing the cost and reputational damage.

We can always hope. For America to survive in its current form, we must find some means of enforcing accountability in our intentionally-fake news media establishment. If the libel laws can’t be made to work, some other, probably uglier, alternatives will have to be found.

That is all.

GOP House Intel Members Executed a Plan for a Change

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Tired of all this #WINNING yet? Yeah, neither am I. – Ho-hum. You know what’s coming, don’t you? That’s right: The Dow Jones Industrial average and the S&P 500 closed yet again at all-time record highs on Wednesday. Morning trading was way up as investors began to realize the clownish House Democrats were going down in flames one more time in their latest attempt to frame President Donald Trump, but then pulled back somewhat in the afternoon when news came that US and Chinese representatives had hit a snag in their trade negotiations.

Speaking of the Schiff/Pelosi/Media impeachment circus, we summarized the day’s glorious action with a late afternoon post yesterday, but it’s important to note why the Republican committee members were so successful and effective in that hearing. That’s important to understand, because it has been a rare outcome in the past for Republicans, and it shows some very promising developments are taking place within the House GOP caucus.

Let’s go these reasons:

Strategic thinking – In a somewhat stunning development, the Republican members of the committee came into the hearing with an actual strategy. This is something the Democrats have always done, at least going as far back as the Nixon impeachment. But the Republicans have, in all but a tiny few instances, always avoided strategic planning like it was a communicable disease.

I’ve actually testified in a couple of congressional hearings myself, staffed executives who were testifying in several others, and sat through dozens more over the years, and it has always been striking to me to witness the difference in coordination between the Democrats and the Republicans. The Democrats invariably come into every hearing with a clear goal in mind for outcome, assignments on who covers which specific topics during their 5 minutes of questioning, and excellent message discipline. Republicans typically seem to show up with no goal in mind, no discernible assignments and the message discipline of a bunch of alley cats.

I don’t know if credit is due to House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, Ranking Member Devin Nunes or Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan – who was transferred to House Intel just for this hearing process – but whoever it was that led this effort to do some strategic planning, kudos to you.

They had a goal in mind – And that goal was to decimate the witnesses before them. Not to play nice with them, not to waste precious time slathering praise on these two guys for their service to the country – or in George Kent’s case, his father’s and grandfather’s service – not to just question what they had to say in some half-assed manner, which has always been their norm in these settings, but to destroy their stories and reveal them for what they are: A pair of disloyal deep state hacks.

This goal became evident right from the start, when Devin Nunes basically insulted them as a couple of operatives who managed to pass muster in Schiff’s capital basement interrogation process so well that they became his star witnesses. Every Republican who asked questions was tough, pointed and precise, taking care not to needlessly insult them and set off the snowflake battalion among the perpetual outrage mob on Twitter, but to destroy the narrative they were pushing point by point.

That was the goal, and by the end of the day, the objective had been met.

They had clear assignments – Rep. Nunes was the stage-setter. His opening statement, when the live TV audience was at its maximum, was a scorched-earth devastation of the pathological Schiff personally and of the Democrats’ four-year effort to frame the President. You could tell how effective it really was by observing how the Democrat toadies in the media reacted to it: The shrillness of their response to anything Nunes does always has a directly inverse relationship to his level of effectiveness.

Jim Jordan had the assignment of ripping Bill Taylor’s credibility to tiny shreds, point by point.  This was no easy assignment, because Taylor – unlike Kent, who relied on co-opting the military service record of his ancestors to lend himself credibility – really did serve his country with valor during the Vietnam war before becoming a career bureaucrat. So, Jordan had to rip Taylor’s confusing and byzantine narrative to shreds, reducing him to a mumbling heap, and do it all with a smile on his face. He did all that and more, with Taylor even chuckling along with him at several points.

Everyone else who asked questions, from John Ratcliffe to Chris Stewart to Elise Stefanik to Michael Turner, addressed clearly-defined subject matter and were very effective. As is the case in any team effort, their level of effectiveness was no doubt enhanced by having a clear plan and strategic approach.

They had message discipline – The Republicans came into this hearing with several key messages they wanted to hammer over and over and over again in order to beat them into the collective mind of the viewing public. Among those key messages were:

– This whole process is a sham led by perhaps the single most dishonest member of congress;

– There was no quid pro quo;

– Where’s the whistleblower, and why won’t Adam Schiff be honest about his contact with him?;

– The elected President, not unelected bureaucrats like you guys, gets to determine U.S. foreign policy;

– Neither of these witnesses has any first-hand knowledge about anything relevant;

– The real bad actors relevant to Ukraine are Joe and Hunter Biden.

These messages were pounded home repeatedly, with GOP questioning leaving the two witnesses completely stumped and wordless time after time. In the end, it was Chris Stewart who got to deliver the right uppercut that devastated the Bidens:

Of course the answer is no, which is why neither of these very DC Swampy creatures could muster a response.

The Bottom Line – Unless Schiff and San Fran Nan have some witness waiting in the wings who is going to make some stunning new accusation backed-up by real, first-hand knowledge and corroborated by others, they would be far better off disbanding this budding fiasco today rather than extending the pain for another two full weeks or more.

After yesterday, they have a clear rationale for doing so, and for pinning it on the President. They could gather all their corrupt press toadies together for a live conference, and tell them that the testimony of these two third-hand gossips and nasty questioning by the GOP members of them shows that it would unproductive to continue this process. They wouldn’t want their other third-hand witnesses to be “bullied,” after all.

They could then blame it all on President Trump and his firm assertion of executive privilege in refusing to allow his top advisors, who might actually have some first-hand information about something relevant, to testify before Schiff’s clown show.

And then they could all go to the capitol basement and huddle up to work on their next false narrative designed to frame President Trump.

Of course, Nan and Bug-eyes aren’t clear-headed enough to do that, so the nation will be subjected to this clown show until it comes to a bitter end.

That is all.

An Honest Media Would Force The Democrat Impeachment Circus to Shut Down

Today’s Campaign Update, Part III
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

So, the Democrats are going to give us two weeks of this? Really??? – In all seriousness, is this all there is? A parade of career bureaucrats and diplomats, some of whom – like Bill Taylor – are probably well-intentioned, and some of whom – like the dapper dandy George Kent – are obvious career deep state hacks attempting to undermine a President they don’t like, spending all day long whining about the fact that they were “concerned” about a policy approach to Ukraine that they, the unelected bureaucrats and diplomats, did not approve of?

The Democrats went into today thinking that they would have to make a big splash during the first hour in order to hold the nation’s attention. Unfortunately for them, the snotty Kent was so irritating and the tedious Taylor so incredibly boring as he droned on and on and on for 40 long minutes that the Dems likely lost at least half their audience before Bug-eyes Schiff even got to begin his questioning.

Kent’s tactical approach was to basically say, hey, my dad and his dad before him were both very brave patriots who served our country in the military, and that means I’m important and should be able to run U.S. foreign policy instead of the guy the voters elected to the presidency.

Taylor’s approach basically amounted to:

I was told by Volker who was told by Sondland who had talked to Giuliani and yada yada yada blah blah blah on and on and on and on and undending bureaucratese and self-important BS and therefore and ipso facto Russia is bad and therefore Trump is bad and my esteemed colleague George Kent and I should get to set U.S. foreign policy instead of the President and let me repeat what I said at the outset for the 23rd time and blah blah blah yada yada yada I’m important.

Neither of these guys has any shred of first-hand information about anything relevant to the Democrats’ stupid, made-up claims against the President. God bless them and their service, but they are basically just the neighborhood gossips trying to elevate their own self-importance by spilling all the rumors they’ve heard about their neighbors. Neither of them would be allowed to testify in a court of law, because everything they had to say today was pure hearsay, some of it third-and-fourth-hand.

And these guys are the Democrats’ star witnesses. It all goes downhill from here. The ex-ambassador who will testify Friday was fired in April, three full months before the July 25 call between Presidents Trump and Zelensky even took place. She knows even less than Taylor and Kent.

An honest, real news media establishment covering today’s proceedings would basically force the Democrats to shut the rest of it down. It’s a farce, a hoax, a scam and a national embarrassment, one that is doing incalculable damage to our country’s reputation and influence around the world.

To the extent American voters were actually watching the hearing live, it was an unmitigated disaster for the Democrats. Tedious, boring, endless talk about byzantine machinations that no ordinary person could possibly understand, and zero evidence that any impeachable crime has been committed by President Trump.

The corrupt media of course will do everything they can to make it all seem oh, so damaging to the President, but the reality is that the only truly compelling moments in the entire day were produced by the epic opening statement by Devin Nunes and by the questioning from three GOP members, Jim Jordan, John Ratcliffe and Chris Stewart.

Here are clips of all four key moments:

Again, an honest media establishment would force the Democrats to shut this disaster down. But we don’t have an honest media establishment, so buckle up for two solid weeks of epic fail from the Democrats.

That is all.

Devin Nunes Formally Demands Adam Schiff Testify on his Whistleblower Collusion

Tonight’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Devin Nunes, ranking GOP member on the House Intelligence Committee, sent the letter below to Chairman Bug-eyes Schiff Friday evening, demanding he testify in private before members of the House Intelligence, Foreign Affairs and Oversight Committees. Those are the three committees who have been participating in Schiff’s interrogations in the Capitol basement for the past month.

The letter is self-explanatory:

No one should expect Schiff to have the personal integrity to comply with Nunes’s demand.

No Surprise Here: Fired Obama Ukraine Ambassador Likely Spied on Journalists

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Um, hello, John? This is the IC, you know, the Intelligence Community? Yeah, that IC. Well, um, we’re just calling to let you know that it looks like the former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine was illegally spying on you. Yeah, Ukraine. Um, ok, that’s all for now.  –  No kidding, the fired U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch, appears to have been illegally spying on the activities of Solomon and other U.S. journalists related to their reporting on Ukraine and the activities of Quid Pro Joe Biden and his ne’er-do-well son, Hunter.

Solomon talked about it with Sean Hannity Wednesday night. Here’s the clip.:

Don’t have time for a transcript, but the key information here is that Solomon says he was contacted by someone from the Intelligence Community 10 days ago, informing him about “strange requests” being made for his personal communications by the U.S. Ambassador’s office while Yovanovitch was serving in that job, from which she was fired earlier this year. He is still awaiting more details about the full nature and extent of these inquiries.

Note that Solomon also provides a key reminder of a previous illegal spying episode that took place way back in 2003, when then-FBI Director Robert Mueller had to admit he and his evil minions at the FBI had also illegally spied on Solomon’s communications. Funny how Mueller’s name just keeps popping up in illicit activities like this.

But back to Ms. Yovanovitch, who was appointed to be the Ukraine Ambassador back in May, 2016 by – guess who? – then- President Barack Hussein Obama His Own Self. Note that date – May, 2016, the very month that James Comey, Peter Strzok and the rest of the DOJ/FBI coup cabal were conspiring to mock up their fake findings on the Hillary Clinton email scandal. Obviously, Ukraine, and the Obama Administration’s looting of it, was already a big concern at that time, and the cabal needed someone reliable serving out there as the “ambassador.”

According to a Wall Street Journal report of October 3, “President Trump ordered the removal of the ambassador to Ukraine after months of complaints from allies outside the administration, including his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani, that she was undermining him abroad and obstructing efforts to persuade Kyiv to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden, according to people familiar with the matter.”

Oh. In other words, even as late as mid-2019, Yovanovitch was serving as Barack Obama’s loyal foot-soldier, doing everything she could to prevent the truth about the Obama Administration’s activities related to Ukraine from coming out. This is not hard to figure out, is it?

In another clip, Devin Nunes, ranking Republican on the House Intel Committee, promises to question Ms. Yovanovitch about her actions when she testifies before Adam Schiff’s kangaroo court on Friday.:

“We also have concerns that possibly they were monitoring press from different journalists and others,” Nunes said. “That we don’t know, but we have people who are giving us this information and we’re going to ask these questions to the State Department and hopefully they’re going to get the answers before she comes in on Friday.”

Oh.

Of course, the Democrats will do everything they can to cover for the Obama loyalist, but she will have to answer questions from Nunes and other Republicans under oath, regardless. Just another opportunity for the commission of massive perjury for one more Obama minion.

It’s good to get all of these folks on record.

That is all.

Congress is a Plague of Liars, Skunks and Eunuchs

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

One problem with the testimony of Acting DNI Joseph Maguire. – Joseph Maguire generally did quite well in refuting the Democrats’ phony scandal-mongering, and made it very clear that he followed the letter of the law throughout the process of reviewing the fake whistleblower complaint he with which was confronted.

Just one problem, though: At several points in response to questions from both Republicans and Democrats, Maguire claimed he was “certain” that the leaks to the press related to the whistleblower situation did not come from “anyone in the IC (Intel Community).” Sorry, but that simply cannot be a true statement. There is no way on earth he or anyone else can be certain that no one in the IC leaked this information or caused it to be leaked, especially now that we know that the fake whistleblower is in fact a CIA agent, which means that some if not all of the people feeding him the largely-false information contained in his complaint were also employees of CIA or other IC agencies.

Granted, we also now know that Bug-Eyed Adam Schiff has had this complaint in his grubby paws since August, so it there can be no doubt that he and his staff have done at least some of the leaking. That’s what those despicable cretins do, after all. But there is simply no way Maguire can possibly be certain that zero leaks of this highly-classified information came from anyone in the IC. He should be forced by the Committee and frankly by the President to revise those remarks for the record.

Yesterday’s revelation about the fake whistleblower’s identity proves conclusively that President Trump has been right yet again with his ongoing complaints that he and his staff continue to be spied upon by the CIA and other IC agencies. At the very least, he should eliminate the ability of anyone from the IC to listen in on his calls with other world leaders. His ability – and the ability of all future presidents – to hold such calls in the future has already been irreparably harmed by the Democrats’ disgraceful behavior over this phony complaint. Getting the spooks off the calls might help to repair at least some of the damage done.

Trump also needs to find a replacement for CIA Director Gina Haspel. Obviously, she’s a worthless hack who, like FBI Director Christopher Wray, has done nothing to clean up her agency and its illegal spying activities. In a perfect world, both agencies would be broken into a million pieces and scattered to the winds, as John F. Kennedy famously threatened to do to the CIA after the Bay of Pigs fiasco 58 years ago. Of course, JFK was conveniently assassinated just two years later, and the CIA’s problem was solved.

The truth about those two agencies is that both have been utterly corrupt institutions since the day of their founding, and that corruption was taken to new heights during the Obama years, culminating in a coordinated effort to spy on an American presidential campaign and then to mount a coup d’etat when their preferred candidate failed to win.

This fake whistleblower complaint by a reported Obama loyalist exists due to the failure to mount any real effort to clean the evil minions out of the CIA. That, of course, is due to the fact that anyone President Trump can get confirmed by the Senate must first be approved by the Senate Intelligence Committee led by deep state skunk Republican Richard Burr of North Carolina. Haspel, a loyal lieutenant to John Brennan during the Obama years, is in that job now because she could be confirmed. Coincidentally, Mr. Maguire is in his job rather than Texas Rep. John Ratcliffe – Trump’s first choice – because Burr gave his nod of approval to Maguire after promising to block Ratcliffe.

Wray is in his job for the same reason.  Are you seeing a pattern here?

The reality here is that the IC remains a collection of corrupt institutions who spy on their own citizens and even their own President not because of Democrats, but because of compromised/corrupt Republican senators like Burr who remain loyal to the deep state instead of the American people.

Damn them all to hell.

About that Adam Schiff soliloquy to start the hearing… – Many Republicans are whining and moaning this morning about Schiff and his statement to begin the hearing in which he completely fabricated what was said on the call between President Trump and Ukraine President Zelensky. Yes, it was despicable, yes it was just another in a long line of treasonous acts by a treasonous Democrat, but why would we expect anything else?

And while we’re all whining and moaning about the fact that the Democrat-toady TV channels are all simply playing Schiff’s latest fabrications without critical comment, why aren’t we demanding to know why not one of the Republicans in that room spoke up and objected while he was doing it?

Devin Nunes, normally a stellar guy, was sitting 6 inches from Schiff throughout that false statement. At least 7 other Republican members of the committee were sitting there as well. Why didn’t any one of them have the presence of mind to raise an objection with the Chair, calling him out for literally making sh*t up? Indeed, Nunes didn’t even say a word about it when he, as the Ranking Member, was the first Republican to question the witness. We were half an hour into the damn hearing before one Republican, Mike Turner of Ohio, finally had the presence of mind to berate Schiff for his act of outright mendacity.

Thus, the reason why your fake news media has that squeaky-clean, uninterrupted video of Schiff making his false statement to brainwash the masses with this morning is that the GOP members of that committee were all sitting there like a bunch of damn eunuchs while he was doing it.

Good lord.

That is all.

Watch Devin Nunes Discuss his Efforts to Expose Spygate

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Good information here from a Hannity interview with Devin Nunes Friday evening.

Watch the clip here – a transcript will follow:

For those of you who still like to read, the transcript is below, but first the big takeaways.:

  • The Nunes letter Hannity references requests DOJ provide him with all documentation collected by the Mueller Witch Hunt related to longtime U.S. intelligence asset Joseph Mifsud.
  • Per Fox News, Nunes’ letter is also addressed to “Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Central Intelligence Agency Director Gina Haspel, National Security Agency Director Paul Nakasone and FBI Director Chris Wray. It asks them to hand over all information they have on Mifsud by May 10.”
  • Mifsud was one of the spies the FBI ran into the Trump Campaign during 2016 in its efforts to entrap George Papadopoulous and other Trump Campaign officials into committing some illegal admission or act.
  • Nunes knows already that Mifsud has also long been an asset for other western intelligence agencies, including those from Great Britain, Australia and Italy.
  • Nunes suspects that Mifsud also serves as an operative for the Russians, and believes the Mueller Witch Hunt likely collected documentation proving that’s the case.
  • As Nunes notes, if his suspicion about Mifsud is proven correct, it would be an enormous scandal for the FBI and U.S. intelligence agencies.

Just another piece of this highly-complex puzzle that could be about to fall into place.

======================================================================

[Here’s the transcript of the Hannity/Nunes clip. I have used the abbreviation “Papa” to avoid having to type Papadopoulous a dozen times.:]

Nunes: After the Mueller report came out, we said we were going to comb through it. One of the first things that came out was that they used a Guardian news report to claim that the Link campus was a place where Mifsud had worked. What they failed to say in that same report was that Mifsud was linked to Italian intelligence services.

So, if you’re Mueller, you don’t get to report the parts that you want to report in your story, you have to put the entire piece before the American people. He didn’t do that, so we’re calling him out. This is not how investigations are supposed to be run.

When you look into Mifsud closer, you realize he is connected with all kinds of intelligence agencies, including our own FBI. And in that letter, Sean, you’ll see there’s pictures with FBI agents at the Link campus where Professor Mifsud teaches.

So, we asked the question – and I’ll just sum it up like this – we want to know every document that these agencies have related to Mifsud. Because if he is in fact a Russian agent, this would be one of the biggest intelligence scandals not just for our agencies, but also for the Italians and the Brits and others. Because if Mifsud is a Russian agent he would know all kinds of our intelligence agents throughout the globe.

So we asked those questions, we want those documents and we are giving them a week.

Hannity: You said that this professor has all these connections to all these western intelligence agencies, and yeah, Mueller implies that he was a Russian agent, but it may be much deeper is how I’m seeing this. My question to you is do you believe that in an effort to illegally spy on the American people that it’s possible that some at the top of our intel community under Obama/Biden may have outsourced things that were illegal for them to do Americans, so that they could have our allies do the spying for them. Let me give you an example: Great Britain or Australia or maybe Italy – am I over the target here?

Nunes: I think you are, and one of the things we point out in the letter is very specific: Because the FBI, or I should say the Mueller group, claims that Papadopoulous misled them, and they were not allowed to get to Prof. Mifsud in time in order to interview him. These are the claims they make against Papa when they sentence him to prison.

What we found it, well wait a second, if this is really what happened, and if you backtrack all of this they’re basically making the claim that Mifsud is the guy who said he had emails or other information about the emails being the hands of the Russian government. If that is in fact true, they couldn’t talk to Mifsud until supposedly January, February of 2017. Well, how do they know to ask Papa all throughout 2016 whether or not he’s seen the Russian emails, or whether he knows about the Russian emails?

The only way that’s possible is that had to come from Mifsud some way, somehow.

Now, who Mifsud’s really working for I don’t know, but like everything we do, Sean, we have to be slow and patient because we have to see what is the real relationship between Mifsud and our FBI, Mifsud and our State Department?

Hannity: You specifically talk about omissions in the Mueller report and you also explain how Papa met Mifsud. We’re about to have Papa and his wife on, and the story that we now know is true – that even the NY Times has now admitted this week, the FBI was using young, pretty, flirtatious women right out of a James Bond novel, along with Stefan Halper, along with Mifsud, to set Papa up.  Is there anything I’m saying that’s wrong, and how deep did it go?

Nunes: I said this a year ago – and I and others got mocked – I’m not interested in if the Trump Campaign was spied on. That happened. That’s a fact.

I want to know how many spies, informants, whatever you want to call them, were run into the Trump Campaign.

So, look, the Times story now says 2, that’s up from 1, my guess is it’s a lot more than that. If you listen to what AG Barr said yesterday, as sophisticated as this operation was, there had to be a lot more people, sophisticated people that were involved in this operation from our own FBI.

So I still want to know how many spies were run into the Trump Campaign. I still don’t know, but we’re gonna get the answer, and we’re gonna get it out to the American people.

While Pelosi Dodders, House GOP Leaders Dither

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Hey, remember when Democrats pretended to thing “ageism” was a bad thing?  Yeah, not any more.  – San Fran Nan, the 78 year-old leader of the Democrat minority in the U.S. House of Representatives, finds herself increasingly under bigoted attack over her advanced age from her opposition these days.  The hilarious thing about it, though, is that Ms. Pelosi’s “opposition” these days comes not from any right-wing forces, but from her fellow Democrats in the House.

Turns out the youngsters in the Democrat caucus are growing more than a tad frustrated over the lock on power exercised for more than a decade now by Pelosi and her fellow House Democrat leaders, Stenny Hoyer and James Clyburn, both of whom are also well into their late ’70s.  The latest dig at the Party’s retirement home leadership came on Wednesday from 50 year-old California Rep. Linda Sanchez, who was quoted as saying she wants to be part of a transition to a new set of Party leaders.

“I think it’s time for that generational change,” Sanchez told reporters Wednesday. “I want to be part of that transition, because I don’t intend to stay in Congress until I’m in my 70s.”  Yikes.

The Democrat plan had been to a) win back control of the House this fall; b) let Pelosi then serve one more 2-year stint as speaker; c) retain control of the House in 2020, allowing the then-80 year-old Pelosi to go out on top; and d) turn over the speakership to New York Rep. Joe Crowley, who would be a comparatively very young 59 years of age.  But of course, the 28 year-old socialist community organizer Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez threw a monkey wrench into those gears a few weeks ago by defeating the hapless Crowley in the party’s primary.

So, with no clear plan of succession, a political equation that increasingly looks as if the plan to retake the House is just another fake media-fed pipe dream, and a Minority Leader who can’t remember the name of the Senate Majority Leader she’s worked with for more than 30 years, frustration among the “younger” set in the Democrat caucus is closing in on the boiling point.  And there it will most likely remain following this year’s mid-term elections, since the Democrats are well along their way in the process of blowing their best chance in years to regain one lever of federal power by re-taking the House.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of people.

Speaking of ineffectual members of congress, it’s not just limited to those on the Democrat side of the aisle.  A group of GOP leaders in the House have now spent so many weeks whining on Twitter about the stonewalling of their various committee investigations by the FBI and DOJ that they are now in danger of being remembered as little than a collection of boys who cried wolf.

Those leading Republicans are:

  • House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte
  • House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy
  • House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes
  • House Freedom Caucus  co-Founder Jim Jordan

These gentlemen – all of whom are deserving of much respect from conservatives – have spent months now issuing subpoenas for documents, demanding witness appearances and setting deadlines that are never met while threatening to take punitive action, and then doing nothing when Rod Rosenstein and Christopher Wray inevitably give them the proverbial finger.

It was three weeks ago now that these guys – supposedly with the sign-off from Speaker Paul Ryan – threatened to pursue contempt and even impeachment action against Rosenstein if their document requests weren’t met in 7 days.  That 7-day deadline came and went – as have a long series of such deadlines since last fall – and the House has done exactly nothing in response.

The latest kerfuffle from these guys came on Wednesday, when the ex-lover of FBI Super Duper Agent Peter Strzok, former DOJ lawyer Lisa Page, simply ignored a subpoena from Goodlatte to come before his committee to offer sworn testimony over her role in the DOJ’s efforts to fix the 2016 elections in favor of Hillary Clinton.

Chairman Goodlatte and Rep. Jordan immediately took to their Twitter accounts in response:

Well, yes, and?  What?  With all due respect, gentlemen, what are you going to do?  Is this it?  At long last, has the majority party in the U.S. House of Representatives become so de-fanged, so timid under its milquetoast establishment leadership that its only recourse to open defiance of its authority by deep state officials is to issue petulant tweets?  If it wanted to, the Judiciary Committee could hold Page in contempt and send the Capitol Police to her home to place her under arrest.  Why not do that?

But given that Jordan, just a few days after going after Rosenstein in a public hearing, found himself the target of one of the most blatant deep state hit jobs in modern history, maybe this is it.  After all, the most obvious intent of going after Jordan with un-provable – and un-disprovable – allegations that he ignored sexual improprieties by a long-dead wrestling team doctor while serving as an assistant coach at Ohio State University decades ago is to intimidate Jordan and anyone else thinking about going after Rosenstein and his fellow thugs at DOJ.

If that’s the strategy, it seems to be working.

Just another day the deep state isn’t going away quietly America.

That is all.

The Horowitz and Wray Show Comes to Capitol Hill

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Happy Father’s Day!  – Pretending to suddenly be concerned about the children of illegal aliens who have illegally crossed into the United States, social justice warriors took to social media on Saturday in outrage that many Americans would be celebrating Father’s day on Sunday.  I celebrated Father’s Day with my family anyway, and even worse, cooked delicious, juicy animal meat in the form of beef and chicken fajitas for my wifey, children and grandchildren to consume.  They loved me for it.  So there.

San Fran Nan is outraged, too. – Doddering old Nancy Pelosi, who after a lifetime of supposed “public service” can somehow afford to live in a multi-million dollar home protected by a wall in one of the priciest neighborhoods in San Francisco, and who owns several other homes to boot, attacked “people of faith” on Sunday for not caring about the plight of illegal aliens.  You can be sure that Ms. Pelosi, who claims to be a practicing Catholic, won’t be selling any of her homes to raise money to support these immigrants, or tear down her property’s wall to set a good example for the rest of the country.  Because, well, liberals.

Big Drama coming this week on multiple fronts. – Today and tomorrow, DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz and FBI Director Christopher Wray will go to capitol hill to offer testimony about the report he released last Thursday on the FBI’s fake investigation into the Clinton email scandal during 2016.  Horowitz and Wray will testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee today and before the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday.

We can expect Director Wray to deflect, dissemble, refuse to answer based on false claims of “protecting sources” or other classic dodges used by FBI Directors in such situations, because he has clearly demonstrated he is just another feckless bureaucrat whose main goal is not the revelation of the truth, but the covering of his and his utterly corrupt department’s ass. That’s what we saw from him in his god-awful press conference last Thursday following the report’s release, and there is no reason whatsoever to expect anything different from him today or tomorrow.

Horowitz, however, is a different matter entirely.  Unlike Wray, he is not a guy with a history of obfuscating and deflecting in this kind of setting.  In his past testimonies to congress he has pretty much always been blunt and clear in answering questions posed to him.

What will be interesting to see with Horowitz will be to observe whether he bases his testimony on what was written – most likely by Wray, Rod Rosenstein and others – in the Executive Summary to his report, or if he bases his testimony on what is contained in the actual body of the report.  Because while the Executive Summary claims his report finds “no documentary evidence” that political bias influenced the fake investigation, the body of the report details all manner of not just bias, but outright hostility towards Donald Trump influencing pretty much every decision made in the conduct of what really amounted to a cover-up operation favoring the Pantsuit Princess.

And where the Executive Summary to the report claims to have revealed no criminal wrongdoing on the part of anyone at the FBI, the body of the report details all sorts of criminal actions, including the taking of bribes and leaking of classified information on the part of multiple bad actors within the FBI.  Thus, which part of the report Horowitz chooses to reference in his answers to questions from Republican members of these committees – the Democrat members will all just do what they can to continue to support the cover-up – will be key.  Horowitz has a history of trying to do the right thing in the face of obstruction and blow-back from his superiors within DOJ.  We can only hope that continues to be the case.

The other bit of drama we may finally, at long last see this week will be some real pushback from the GOP leadership in the House of Representatives over the DOJ’s and FBI’s ongoing refusal to comply with perfectly valid and legal requests by several committees for documents.  Speaker Paul Ryan is finally personally engaging in the controversy, having attended a Friday night meeting in which he, Devin Nunes, Trey Gowdy and Bob Goodlatte (chairmen of House Oversight, Intelligence and Judiciary committees, respectively) met with Wray and Rosenstien to hammer out a final deal on provision of said documents.

The group is supposed to meet again today, after which DOJ supposedly has promised compliance of some sort.  Nunes and Gowdy were both very plain-spoken in media interviews on the matter Sunday:

From Nunes:  “My patience  has run out. I believe that they have leaked — they created massive leaks. We know that from the I.G. Report. Inspector Horowitz showed us these major, major gaffes…here’s the bottom line.  Mr. Rosenstein, the deputy attorney general, and Director Wray have to decide whether or not they want to be part of the cleanup crew or they want to be part of the cover-up crew.  That’s really the decision that they have to make for themselves here. The best way they can be part of the cleanup of this mess is give us all the documents this week, so that we can put this behind us and let the American people begin to heal.”

From Gowdy:  “Paul Ryan led this meeting… And Paul made it very clear; there’s going to be action on the floor of the House this week if the FBI and DOJ do not comply with our subpoena request.  So Rod Rosenstein, Chris Wray you were in the meeting, you understood him just as clearly as I did. We’re going to get compliance or the House of Representatives is going to use its full arsenal of constitutional weapons to gain compliance.”

This all, of course, comes on the heels of a very rancorous meeting between most of these same principles last week, during which the perpetually oily and abusive Rosenstein actually threatened to subpoena the phone and email records of the members of congress and their staff in retaliation for conducting their constitutional oversight duties.  So it’s pretty easy to see why everyone’s nerves would be on end over this situation.

Of course, the problem these committee chairmen have is that congress’s power in this situation is fairly limited.  Our constitutional balance of powers envision that patriotic, competent and loyal people will be appointed to these high positions within the Department of Justice.  We know today that that was definitely not what happened in the Barack Obama Administration, and the jury is just barely still out on Wray, Rosenstein and Jeff Sessions.  Based on that assumption of good faith, the founding fathers did not give congress many powers to effectively combat a corrupted DOJ.

About the worst congress could do in this situation would be to initiate impeachment proceedings against Rosenstein and Wray, something Nunes and Goodlatte have threatened to do in the past.  But if these guys are corrupt enough to engage in this stonewalling operation for over a year now, and they know that there is not a single Senate Democrat honest enough to vote to remove them from office, what do they care?

So there will be drama, because we can be sure DOJ and the FBI are not going to comply with these latest congressional demands, but at the end of the day it will almost certainly end up being a lot of sound and fury that ends up signifying nothing.

Just another day in the drama never ends America.

That is all.

If the Rosenstein Stonewall Continues Today, the President Must Fire Him

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Tired of all this Winning yet? – Don’t look now, but Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk, after running up the cost of his infamous Model 3 from $36,000 to as much as $100,000, is threatening to actually do something good for a change:

As of early this morning, 88% of the vote in that poll was in the “yes” category.  Hilariously, the “yes” vote actually went up throughout the day, even as the fake news media was filing a raft of negative stories about Musk’s threat to create a site that would monitor media credibility.  Thus, Musk has already been proven correct in his assertion that the fake mainstream news media has no credibility at all outside of the tiny, shrinking echo chamber all the fake journalists and the Democrat politicians they support inhabit.

Go for it, Elon – it would be a great public service, and you wouldn’t have to worry about cost overruns for once.

But, but, but…Obama told us that wasn’t going to …oh, hell, nevermind. – Speaking of a fake news outlet whose reporters desperately need to be monitored by Elon Musk, the New York Times is reporting this morning that it turns out that the Mullahs over in Iran have been developing inter-continental ballistic missiles throughout the entire time they were negotiating the most one-sided “deal” in world history with Barack Obama and John Kerry, and have continued their development program during all the time since the deal supposedly ensured that would not happen.

So, it turns out that what Obama really told the Mullahs is that “if you like your ICBM program, you can keep your ICBM program.” [rimshot!]  I got a million of ’em, folks, I’ll be here all week.

Documents?  What documents?  Wait, you asked for documents?  Sorry, we don’t got no stinking documents… –  Well, it’s another episode of Rod Rosenstein Sandbags Congress over at the Justice Department today.  The oily Deputy Attorney General will hold not one, but two meetings with congressional leaders today to discuss long-outstanding congressional demands for documents related to the whole Russia Collusion fantasy play.

The first meeting will be with only Republicans Devin Nunes and Trey Gowdy because, well, Nunes and Gowdy don’t want this stuff being leaked to CNN, the NYTimes and the Washington Post in real time.  That meeting will be held at noon, ET.

The second meeting takes place at 2:00 ET, and will include the entire congressional “Gang of 8”, which includes four Republican leaders and chairmen and four senior Democrats.  This will include California Democrat Adam Schiff, so you can expect the confidential discussions that take place in this meeting – or at least the Democrat spin on them – to be all over CNN by about 3:00 ET.

Democrats had spent much of the day on Wednesday demanding they be included in the first meeting, but Nunes refused to allow that because he knew if he let Schiff and the other Democrats in that meeting, it would all be leaked and the dishonest media would attempt to blame it all on Nunes.  Because that’s what the Democrats and their media enablers do.

Both meetings were set up by White House Chief of Staff John Kelly, after the principles had met at the White House on Monday with President Trump.  Kelly will reportedly attend both meetings, as will FBI Director Christopher Wray and Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats.

Two key documents in play here are the two memos that Rosenstein wrote last year first authorizing the appointment of Robert Mueller to be Special Counsel, and then expanding the scope of Mueller’s investigative authority.  Nunes, Gowdy and other congressional GOP committee chairmen have long sought these documents so that they can understand exactly what in the hell it was that Rosenstein authorized Mueller to do.  It’s important to note that similar authorization memos for previous special counsels were readily made public by DOJ within days of their being issued.

But Rosenstein is desperate to prevent any Republican member of congress from seeing these memos in an un-redacted state.  At this point, we don’t know why that is, but his desperation is palpable and certainly seems suspicious under the circumstances.  FBI Director Wray has also been a willing facilitator of the stonewalling on these and other documents, so no one should expect him to be an advocate for transparency.

We can hope the presence of Coats and Kelly – neither of whom have participated in previous meetings on this subject – might lead to some sort of breakthrough in today’s meetings.  Barring such an outcome, it is getting to the point at which the President is literally obligated to fire Rosenstein for his obvious obstruction efforts.

Yes, that would create a firestorm in the fake news media, but as I’ve said many times before, so what?  That happens every day to this President.

The American people deserve to know why Mueller was appointed and exactly what he was authorized to do, and most importantly, under which U.S. laws that authorization was made.  Rod Rosenstein has a big high-powered title, but at the end of the day he is just another bureaucrat.  Bureaucrats do not get to deny the public’s right to know unless elected officials empower them to do so.  We can’t count on elected representatives like Paul Ryan or Mitch McConnell to do anything about this, so the decision will ultimately fall to Donald Trump to make.

If the Rosenstein stonewall turns today’s meetings into just more Kabuki Theatre, it’s time for the President to make that call.

Just another day in the Rosenstein act is really tiresome America.

That is all.

My name is Devin Nunes, and I am here to drop another bomb.  Boom.

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Tired of all this #Winning yet? Part I – The Pantsuit Princess responded to rumors that she has been wearing some sort of large back brace which protrudes above her shoulders by wearing an $1,100 Hermes scarf.  So, why do we classify this as #Winning?  Because any normal, honest person would simply explain the reason for the back brace that she is obviously wearing.  Anytime any of the dishonest hacks who lead the Democrat Party get caught in another act of dishonesty is #Winning.  Period.

Tired of all this #Winning yet?  Part II – Just in case you thought that CNN poll showing the Democrats’ edge in the generic congressional ballot question had all but disappeared was a fluke, Reuters issued its own poll on Thursday, and it gets even better.  Where the CNN poll showed a 3 point edge for the Democrats – within the poll’s margin of error – the Reuters poll pegs the D advantage at just…wait for it…1 percent.  The Democrat margin in the Reuters poll released just three weeks ago had the Democrats holding an 11 point lead.  That’s #Winning.  Bigly.

My name is Devin Nunes, and I am here to drop another bomb.  Boom. – House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes and House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy met with Justice Department officials on Thursday for a “briefing” related to documents both Republicans have demanded the DOJ provide their committees.

The document in question is an official communication sent in late July, 2016 from then-CIA Director John Brennan to then-FBI Director and current teenage drama queen James Comey.  This electronic communication – or “EC” – formed the official justification for Comey’s decision on July 31, 2016 to initiate a counter-intelligence operation targeting the Donald Trump Campaign.  That EC from Brennan also led to the DOJ’s obtaining of a FISA warrant to wiretap Trump Tower and otherwise spy on the Trump Campaign and Transition Team.

This is a very important document, because it is basically the germinating event that ultimately led to the appointment of Robert Mueller as Special Counsel, and all the of the anti-Trump conspiracy that has brought us up to today.  No congressional committee or other investigating body can possibly get to the bottom of everything that has taken place without having access to that Brennan communication, the EC.

Nunes has for months demanded to see an unredacted version of this document, because he is especially interested to know the name of a specific person who is named within it, and who Brennan claimed had provided him with “intelligence” on the Trump Campaign that supposedly made him concerned enough to want to begin this counter-intelligence operation.  The Washington Post reports that DOJ and the intelligence community don’t want to reveal the person’s name for the familiar “might reveal sources and methods” excuse that these agencies always use to justify their coverups.  The Post also notes that this person has already been identified to the Mueller investigation and has been cooperating with it for months.

So, Mueller gets full information but congressional committees with oversight responsibility do not. See how this works?

And a coverup it is, make no mistake about that.  As Kimberly Strassel notes in a great Wall Street Journal piece, what all this means is that it is very likely that the FBI, well before it received Brennan’s EC justifying the counter-intelligence operation against the Trump Campaign, had either planted an operative within the Trump Campaign or who was interacting with Trump officials in an effort to dirty them up.

As Strassel puts it:

“When government agencies refer to sources, they mean people who appear to be average citizens but use their profession or contacts to spy for the agency. Ergo, we might take this to mean that the FBI secretly had a person on the payroll who used his or her non-FBI credentials to interact in some capacity with the Trump campaign.

This would amount to spying, and it is hugely disconcerting. It would also be a major escalation from the electronic surveillance we already knew about, which was bad enough. Obama political appointees rampantly “unmasked” Trump campaign officials to monitor their conversations, while the FBI played dirty with its surveillance warrant against Carter Page, failing to tell the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court that its supporting information came from the Hillary Clinton campaign. Now we find it may have also been rolling out human intelligence, John Le Carré style, to infiltrate the Trump campaign.”

On August 15, 2016, FBI Super Duper Agent Peter Strzok – himself a part of the FBI’s counter-intelligence division – exchanged texts with his passionate lover, DOJ Attorney Lisa Page about an “insurance policy” the DOJ/FBI anti-Trump cabal had in place.  Thanks to the efforts of Devin Nunes, we most likely discovered the nature of that “insurance policy” yesterday.

Ms. Strassel closes her piece by saying she believes she knows the identity of this FBI plant.  It’s pretty obvious that Nunes and Gowdy do as well, but are seeking absolute confirmation before deciding what to do about it.

We keep seeing people in the media toss out the fact that President Trump could end all the speculation by simply declassifying this document, and that is true.  So, why doesn’t he do that, since doing so would likely be to his ultimate advantage vis a vis the Mueller investigation.

The simplest and most probable explanation for that is that this “source” is, in addition to cooperating with the Mueller investigation, also cooperating with DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz and Utah U.S. Attorney John Huber in their own investigations into all the wrongdoing that has taken place within the DOJ and FBI since mid-2016.

Boom.

Just another day in Donald Trump just keeps on Winning America.

That is all.

The Nunes “Threat” on Sessions: Not What it Seems to be?

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

The NRA held its annual convention in Dallas over the weekend and President Trump was a featured speaker.  But that wasn’t the big news.  The big news came when failed actress and failing anti-gun activist Alyssa Milano showed up to stage a protest in a park across the street from the convention center, complete with a small army of body guards who were – you guessed it – clearly carrying firearms.  Seriously, if liberals didn’t exist, you could not make them up.

Two headlines on the Drudge Report this morning caught my eye:

  • “With no letup in home prices, California exodus surges;” and
  • “California to require solar panels on new homes.”

Cause, meet effect.

“Here’s our new poll showing President Trump’s popularity rising dramatically.  We apologize for the findings of our new poll and will try to do better faking our data in the future.” –  The new Reuters/Ipsos poll is out, and it shows a dramatic rise in the public’s job approval for the President, to 48 percent.  Hilariously, the leftwing lunatics who conduct this poll included the following disclaimer along with the poll results:

“This week’s Reuters/Ipsos Core Political release presents something of an outlier of our trend. Every series of polls has the occasional outlier and in our opinion this is one. So, while we are reporting the findings in the interest of transparency, we will not be announcing the start of a new trend until we have more data to validate this pattern.”

So, if you were entertaining the thought that the people who run the Reuters/Ipsos poll did so in a sincere search for accurate findings, you can now put that thought out of your mind.  No need to thank me for this public service announcement.

You have a point, but why have you waited until now? – House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes told an interviewer on Fox News yesterday that he is planning to move to hold Attorney General Jeff Sessions in contempt of congress this week.  The issue at hand is the Justice Department’s and FBI’s ongoing refusal to comply with his committee’s information requests in a timely manner.

It’s a valid point, and House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, who is one of the candidates to succeed Paul Ryan as Speaker of the House, expressed his agreement in a later interview on the same network.  My only question, though, is why has Nunes waited until now to threaten such action?  It’s not as if this stonewalling on the part of DOJ and the FBI is something new – it’s been going on since last summer.

One of the big problems Nunes and the rest of the Republicans in congress have in such situations is that they are viewed by those in the executive branch as paper tigers, people who make a lot of noise for the television cameras but who, when push comes to shove, can always be counted upon to back off at the first sign of negative media coverage of their actions.

Obama Attorney General Eric Holder no doubt laughed his butt off when he saw Nunes’ threat.  After all, Holder was held in contempt of congress way back during Obama’s first term in office, and what difference did that ultimately make to anything?  None, because the Republicans running congress then were not willing to take the next step and send the Capital police over to DOJ and take Holder into custody.  So Holder was able to just continue on his merry way.

But here’s the thing about the Nunes threat on Sessions:  It may not be what it appears to be.  Think about it for a minute:  First of all, why target Sessions and not the person who is the real problem, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein?  Sessions is recused from the whole Russia Collusion fantasy play – it’s Rosenstein who has been leading DOJ’s obstruction efforts with the various congressional investigations.

Second, again, why now?  Why take this action just when we are reportedly about to finally see the report from DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz made public?  I fully understand Nunes’ frustration, if that’s what it really is, but making this particular threat at this particular time against this particular target doesn’t really seem to make much strategic sense in the context of all these other events swirling around.

Here’s a thought:  Maybe Nunes is taking this action in order to help cement Sessions’ – and by extension, Horowitz’s – independence in the public’s mind in the weeks leading up to the release of the Horowitz report.  Nunes, after all, has been widely (and unfairly) portrayed as a shill for the Trump White House, so what better way to emphasize Sessions’ independence from all of that by going after him personally with a contempt of congress citation?

Why, I wouldn’t be surprised if we also see a nasty Trump tweet, or two, or three, targeting Mr. Sessions in the coming days.  Think about it – things are not always as they seem.

Just another day in you couldn’t make this stuff up if you wanted to America.

That is all.

Devin Nunes Drops Another Bomb, and It’s a Big One

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

So, here’s how our fake national news media justifies what it does:

  • Devin Nunes, Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, told Fox News host Maria Bartiromo on Sunday that the Obama Administration’s fake “counterintelligence” investigation into the Trump campaign was started in early 2016 “with no official intelligence” as its basis.
  • Other than Fox and a handful of conservative news outlets, no media outlet has reported this incredible, bombshell news, which means that the investigation was illegal from the outset.
  • The fake news media outlets refusing to cover this story claim that it’s all Nunes’ fault, because he has destroyed his own credibility with the fake news media.
  • Why is that the case?  Because Nunes has spent the last 13 months uncovering the truth about the Trump/Russia Collusion fantasy play that has been mounted by the Democrat party in direct coordination with those same fake news media players.
  • Because of that, the fake news media identified Nunes as a threat, and has mounted an intense character assassination campaign against him.

See how that works?  The media identifies a threat to their narrative, colludes with Democrats like bug-eyed Adam Schiff, the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, to demonize that threat, claims that threat has lost his credibility as a result of the demonization campaign, and then proceeds to ignore everything he says on the grounds of the lost credibility.  A textbook display of a Saul Alinsky character assassination campaign.

In all seriousness, the revelation by Nunes is incredible in its potential ramifications, and it can’t just be wished away no matter how hard the fake media tries.  The FBI and intelligence community currently claim that the origin for its counterintelligence operation against the Trump Campaign was a conversation that a pathetic minor hanger-on named George Papadopolous had with an Australian diplomat.  If that is true – which is highly suspect – then that bit of intelligence should have been communicated through the so-called “Five Eyes” agreement between the U.S., Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the UK, a deal that ensures these five allies do not spy on one another’s citizens without everyone knowing about it.

Nunes, as Chairman of the House Intel Committee, is privy to such Five Eyes communications, so is obviously in a position to know.  Obama CIA Director John Brennan testified to congress last May that he directly communicated the intelligence he had accumulated as of October 2016 to then-FBI Director James Comey, and also briefed key members of congress at the same time.

Unfortunately for Brennan, last week the FBI, after months of stonewalling, released the original electronic communications documents  that led to the creation of its counterintelligence investigation, and those documents, according to Nunes, reveal that that intelligence that Brennan passed to Comey did not come through official channels.  Nunes told Bartiromo the following:

Nunes doesn’t know whether the former secretary of state and then-Democratic challenger to Trump in the election, Hillary Clinton, was pulling the strings of the investigation launched against her political opponent. However, he said it is known that two long-time Clinton associates – including Sidney Blumenthal – were “actively” giving information to the State Department, which “was somehow making its way to the FBI.”

So, what all this means is that it is very likely that the CIA, under Brennan’s leadership, had been conducting illegal surveillance on the Trump Campaign long before the FBI had ever obtained a FISA warrant authorizing such activity against U.S. citizens, and that associates of the Pantsuit Princess were feeding the State Department information from the fake Trump Dossier that the DNC and Clinton Campaign had spent millions of dollars having compiled.  That information was then being fed by the State Department to Brennan, and Brennan was then passing it through to Comey.  Breathtaking.

This explains why Nunes and his committee are still working on a report on its findings related to the State Department’s involvement in the illegal spying on the Trump Campaign.  We also should remember here that we have evidence, in the form of texts between disgraced deep state FBI Agent Peter Strzok and his mistress, DOJ lawyer Lisa Page, that President Obama himself was aware of all of this as early as September 2016.  In that month, Strzok texted Page that Obama had  requested a briefing “on everything we are doing.”

This is the single biggest scandal in American history, and our fake news media is so blinded by its collective hatred for Donald Trump and its overwhelming general political bias that it is not just missing the story, it is intentionally ignoring it in the hopes that pretending that the facts don’t exist will somehow make them go away.

But facts are stubborn things, as Ronald Reagan famously said, and you can’t just wish them away.

Just another day in the truth is coming slowly but surely America.

That is all.

Trump Just Provided Cover For Real Action to End The DOJ/FBI Stonewalling of Congress

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Saturdays have always been busy Twitter days for President Trump, and yesterday was no exception.  In addition to tweets defending embattled EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt and announcing that the suspicious fire that devastated an apartment in Trump Tower had been put out, Mr. Trump issued two tweets on Saturday morning related to the ongoing refusal by the FBI and Justice Department to comply with congressional demands for un-redacted documents pertinent to the FISA abuse scandal.

Here are those two tweets:

The President’s characterization of the failure of DOJ and FBI officials to produce the requested documents as “slow walking” is a vast understatement.  The reality here is that the requests for most of these documents have been outstanding since at least last August, some even longer than that.  And it’s not just the House Judiciary Committee that is being stonewalled, it’s also the House Intelligence Committee, Chaired by California Republican Devin Nunes.

Nunes became so frustrated with the situation  in mid-March that he set an April 11 deadline for the production of the documents in question, promising to pursue all remedies available to him if the stonewalling continued.  On Friday, after having produced an updated, but still redacted version of some of the documents in question, the Justice Department offered to allow members of the House Intelligence Committee to “view” these un-classified documents in a “secure room” normally used to provide viewing of documents that are highly classified.

Separately, after having missed a Thursday deadline for complying with a subpoena issued by House Judiciary Chairman Goodlatte, the DOJ said it would “supplement” what it has already produced this coming week.

Obviously, neither response is in any way acceptable, and the time has come for congress quit fooling around with the bad actors at DOJ and the FBI, and keep Rep. Nunes’s promise to use “every tool at its disposal” to force proper compliance.  Nunes and Goodlatte, both good men, have unfortunately spent the last 8 months whining about the lack of cooperation and making threats, but have always backed off when the bad actors missed whatever latest deadline had been set for compliance.  Nunes was on Fox & Friends again Sunday morning, complaining about DOJ/FBI’s latest dodge, but not saying exactly what he’s planning to do to combat it.

Here’s a suggestion:  Refuse the offer by the bad actors to “view” these documents.  That is a completely unacceptable offer, and if it is accepted, it will just show Nunes and congress to once again be a toothless tiger.  The same advice applies to Goodlatte:  your deadline has been missed, and it’s time for further, real action.  You issued a lawful subpoena that has been ignored by a bunch of scofflaws – do something real about that reality.

And guess what?  Both men now have been provided cover for taking real enforcement action by the President of the United States.  Whether they realize it or not, that is most likely why President Trump issued those specific tweets on that particular subject early on a Saturday morning.

Don’t be fooled otherwise:  There are a number of things congress has the power to do here, including levying heavy fines on the bad actors, or even having them tossed in jail.  Those are just two of five real options – with real examples of precedence – laid out by Mark Tapscott in a piece at Lifezette in a really good piece published on Saturday.

The other two people who just got some presidential cover on Saturday are FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who are now free to take some or all of the bad actors who have been conducting the document production stonewall.  If they’re too squeamish to take the media heat for such firings themselves, they can always point to the President’s and congress’s frustrations as the justification for finally, at long last taking some action to break up the logjam at their agencies.

The President doesn’t just tweet this stuff for no reason.  We should expect some serious action to end the stonewalling of these various congressional committees in the coming days.

Just another day in the FBI is an outlaw agency America.

That is all.

The Hillary Clinton Excuse Generator Doll Humiliates Itself in India

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

[Ok, it was actually Hillary Clinton who humiliated her own self in India, but seriously, someone needs to manufacture a Hillary Clinton Bobblehead Excuse Generator Doll.  Just pull the string and it spits out one of 100 excuses for losing the election.  You’d sell a billion of them, promise.]

The Pantsuit Princess was in the news on Monday for rolling out yet more excuses for why she lost the presidential election in 2016.  If you thought she had already blamed everyone else in the United States of America for her failure except for herself, boy, were you wrong.

Speaking to an audience in India, of all places, where the great majority of the population is poor, uneducated and unproductive, the Coughing Crook blamed her loss on people who are poor, uneducated and unproductive.  Oh, and they were all racists, too.  No kidding:

“There’s all that red in the middle, where Trump won. Now, I win the coasts, I win Illinois, Minnesota, places like that. But what the map doesn’t show you is that I won the places that represent two-thirds of America’s gross domestic product. So I won the places that are optimistic, diverse, dynamic, moving forward, and his whole campaign, Make America Great Again, was looking backwards. ‘You don’t like black people getting rights, you don’t like women getting jobs, you don’t want to see that Indian-American succeeding more than you are, whatever your problem is, I’m going to solve it.'”

Oh, but it gets better.  The 100% self-absorbed, 0% self-aware Fainting Felon, who has spent much of her adult life claiming to be a champion of women’s rights, went on to claim that any woman who voted for Donald Trump did so only because their husband or their boss told them to do so.

Then, as if to prove beyond all remaining doubt (could there really be any at this point?) that she was indeed the very worst candidate for any elective office in American history, the Grasping Grifter proceeded to stumble down the steps leading out of the venue, despite being held up by two men.  We can expect her to blame the incident on the two men, who no doubt told her to stumble, a demand that she, as a mere woman, had no ability to resist.

Never stop talking, Hillary.  Please, never stop.

The House Intelligence Committee announced Monday evening that it has concluded its year-long investigation into allegations that the Trump Campaign “colluded” with Russia to influence the 2016 elections, and found zero evidence to support the claims.  Combined, the three major network newscasts devoted less than 1 minute of coverage to that bit of news.  If this surprises you, you probably get your news from the evening network newscasts.

San Fran Nan stammered through a condemnation of the Committee’s move, slamming Speaker Paul Ryan for not keeping the investigation going into perpetuity.  Because, of course, the Democrats’ goal whenever there is a Republican in the White House is to always have myriad fake investigations into fake scandals going simultaneously.  This is especially true when GOP policies are producing things like jobs and economic prosperity.  It’s the Democrat playbook, right there on page 359.

The Democrat playbook also demands that they and their myriad fake journalist press agents continue to demonize Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (Low-IQ Maxine Waters carried out that task on MSNBC Monday night), and that bug-eyed Adam Schiff produce a minority report filled with classified information, which the administration will have to heavily redact, giving the Democrats and the fake news media the excuse to scream “coverup!”  Yes, it’s tiresome, yes, it’s incredibly dishonest, but what do you expect Democrats to do, focus on policy?

Hah!  That’ll be the day.  Focusing on policy got deleted from the Democrat playbook way back in 1992, when Bill and Hillary got elected to their co-presidency.  It will never return, trust me.

Speaking of fake news outlets, economic prosperity and jobs, the fakest #fakenews outlet of them all, CNN, just keeps getting faker as time goes along.  For years, CNN had kept an updated online “jobs tracker”, which provided monthly updates about the number of jobs added or lost by the U.S. economy during the George W. Bush and Barack Hussein Obama administrations.

But updating the tracker has amounted to just too much good news for President Donald Trump over the last year, as the Trump economy has kept adding new jobs at an accelerating pace.  So, the fake journalists at CNN just couldn’t take it anymore, and decided at the first of the year to stop updating the tracker.  That is sad, pathetic and hilarious all rolled up into a tight little fake news ball.

Just another day in the Democrat playbook America.

That is all.

Sunday Scattershooting While Wondering Whatever Happened To That Delightful Barbara Boxer?

  • Here’s what the fake news media thinks “accountability” looks like:  When you have a reporter who files a completely false report for the sole apparent reason of damaging the President of the United States, tanking the entire stock market in the process, his “punishment” is a four week vacation timed perfectly for the Christmas holidays.  That’s what ABC did with its serial fake reporter, Brian Ross on Saturday.  Man, nice work if you can get it.
  • Hey, it worked out great for Lenin and Mao, didn’t it? – Meanwhile, over at NBC, network executives have had their staff busy taking down all photos and videos of disgraced morning fake host Matt Lauer from the network’s website the last few days, apparently in the belief they can simply rewrite the history of the last 20 years, during which Lauer has been the network’s most important on-camera employee.  Somehow, I don’t think that strategy is going to work out all that well.
  • Speaking of fake media outlets getting caught with their collective pants down… – When the White House announced on Friday that President-elect Trump actually received the all-clear from the Obama Administration to start making contacts with Russia and other governments during the interim period last Winter, fakety fakey fake news host Jake Tapper immediately went to his go-to guy for bald-faced lying about President Trump, Director of National Intelligence and serial perjurer James Clapper.  Clapper told Tapper (hey, that rhymes – maybe that’s why these two permanent prevaricators are so fond of one another) that it was “absurd” to think the Obama Administration would have approved any such thing.
  • The TapperClapper team’s gonna need a new lie. – The trouble is, the Obama Administration is caught on video doing exactly that.  Tyler Durden, at his ZeroHedge.com blog, dug that very video from his archives late on Saturday.  Here’s the key exchange:
  • REPORTER: “This building [the Obama State Department] doesn’t see anything necessarily inapprorpiate in contact between members of the incoming [Trump] administration and foreign officials, no matter what country they’re from?
  • OBAMA STATE DEPT SPOKESPERSON: “No, no…and again this has been ongoing. We have no problem with them doing such on their own.”      Hmmmm.  Seems pretty clear, doesn’t it?
  • Getting tired of all this winning yet? – The New York office of the Federal Reserve, which has over the past several years employed a statistical tool that attempts to estimate the performance of the U.S. economy in real time, announced on Friday that its index had reached an all-time high of 3.93% GDP growth last week.  Amazing what the U.S. economy can do when we don’t have a president who is intentionally trying to limit it via over-regulation, huh?
  • House Intel Committee Chairman Devin Nunes blew his stack on Saturday when the Mueller Special Counsel’s Office leaked to both the NYTimes and WaPo information about why FBI Agent Peter Strzok had been jettisoned from the investigation over the summer.  The obviously orchestrated leak came after Nunes had been attempting to acquire information about Strzok’s reassignment since August.
  • It turns out that Strzok, who had also played key roles in both the Clinton e-mail fake investigation and the fake investigation into the Trump Dossier hoax, was caught by Mueller exchanging nasty texts and emails about President Trump.  Mueller was afraid that the revelation of those messages would over-shadow his own person soap box, so he tried to quietly rid himself of the problem.
  • No one takes the Boy Who Cried Wolf seriously. – Nunes threatened to file contempt charges against the FBI and DOJ if his requests to interview Strzok and for a raft of information the agencies have been stonewalling for months are not complied with by the end of December.  But Nunes has made such threats several times before without taking action, so no doubt Mueller and the deep state creeps at DOJ and FBI just chuckled when they heard of this latest threat.
  • Oh, and by the way, the Republicans in the do-nothing U.S. Senate actually took a vote on something important and managed pass it.  No, really, they did, somehow cobbling together 51 votes in favor of the Senate version of a tax reform bill.  So who was the lone GOP holdout?  Why, it was Tennessee Senator Bob Corker, who just could not bring himself to vote in favor of anything that might be portrayed as a victory for a President of his own political party.  Mr. Corker’s personal pettiness knows no bounds.  But that’s ok, because Trump just keeps winning, anyway.

Just another day in Donald Trump’s Winning America.

That is all.

The Desperation Of The Democrats

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • As has been the case with the Democrat Party since the Clintons took it over a quarter century ago, whenever they are accusing any Republican of a bad behavior, it is a very safe bet that they are doing so in order to deflect attention from the fact that they are engaged in the very same behavior, or worse.  Over the last few weeks, we are now finally beginning to discover the real reasons why the Democrats and the fake news media have invested so much time and energy since November 8 of last year in promoting their Russia Collusion fantasy play.
  • Not that we hadn’t already been aware of some of the Clintons’ shady dealings with the Russians, of course.  Even before the election, we knew that Hillary, while serving as Secretary of State, brokered a deal that ceded control of about 20% of America’s uranium resources to a group of Russian oligarchs, and we knew that those same oligarchs just happened to pour tens of millions of dollars into the Clinton Crime Family Foundation around the same time that deal was being made.  We also knew that it was also around this same time that Bill Clinton was receiving double his normal speaking fee of $250k not once, but twice from the same Russian oligarchs.  Just a coincidence, of course.
  • It was only recently that Wikileaks alleged that Special Counsel Bob Mueller was also involved in the brokering of that deal.  Wikileaks, which has basically never been wrong about anything to this point, says it has found an email in which The Most Corrupt Woman In America got Mueller to deliver a sample of the uranium in question to a Russian representative in 2009.  The Wikileaks email points up the need for the Justice Department to investigate the Special Counsel while his own sham investigation is ongoing.  #Irony.
  • But that’s far from all there is here.
  • Since the election, we have also found out Clinton Campaign Manager, John The Spirit Cooker Podesta, took time out from sacrificing goats and chickens to serve on the board of a company with heavy Russia connections  , and that he owns 75,000 shares of that same company.  We also now know that Podesta failed to disclose any of this on his federal disclosure form when he went to work for the Clinton campaign.  Interestingly, we found out just a couple of weeks ago that company in question has suddenly collapsed, as its investors pulled the plug on its funding.  Funny coincidence, that.
  • But that again is far from all there is to this.  There are so, so many more reasons why the Democrats and their agents in the fake news media have been so desperate to keep public attention focused on their Russia Collusion fantasy.
  • Take the case of Debbie Wasserman Schulz and at least 2 dozen Democrat members of congress, and their longtime employment of one Imran Awan and several of his family members since 2004 at massively inflated salaries for instance.  Mr. Awan was famously arrested last Tuesday at Dulles Airport as he attempted to follow his family members in fleeing the country to Pakistan.  The initial charge against him is listed as bank fraud, as he illegally wired several hundred thousand dollars to Pakistan that he and his family had obtained via fraudulent loans from the Congressional Federal Credit Union.
  • But there is so, so much more to this story.
  • Mr. Awan, for example, as being paid more than $160,000 per year to be the “IT Staff” for Ms. Schulz and other Democrats, yet most congressional staffers in the same role make no more than $60,000 per year.  In addition, no one among all of these Democrats appears to be able or willing to point to what specifically Mr. Awan did for them in his “IT” role.  Add to this that Mr. Awan also had access to the email accounts for the House Homeland Security and Foreign Affairs Committees, and you can see that there is an awful lot more to come from this growing scandal should the FBI and Justice Department conduct a proper investigation.
  • But wait, there’s more!
  • What about Fusion GPS, the firm made up of sleazy ex-fake journalists that concocted the infamous “Trump Dossier” that James Comey tried to use to frame President Trump.  We now know that the preponderance of this bunch’s revenue comes from – guess who? – Russia!  Oh, and they also do a lot of work for Venezuela’s socialist regime.  Of course, the big unanswered question about Fusion is who exactly hired them to dummy up the Trump Dossier in the first place?  The group’s management isn’t saying, and Democrats are desperate to prevent us from finding out.  Go figure.
  • Oh, but we aren’t done yet, are we?  Nope.
  • How about the whole “unmasking” scandal, which the House Intelligence Committee has finally, at long last decided to investigate, and which the Justice Department claims to also be investigating.  We know now that senior Obama officials, including CIA Director John Brennan, National Security Advisor Susan Rice, and even UN Ambassador Samantha Power, issued thousands of requests for the unmasking of Republicans during the presidential campaign.  THOUSANDS.  It is more than fair to note that each and every one of those three people reported directly to Barack Hussein Obama at the time they were making those thousands of requests.  It is beyond the realm of credibility to believe their boss had no idea what they were up to.
  • There is even more than all of this, but I’m running out of space here.
  • The legend the Democrats and the fake news media have created is that Hillary Clinton and her campaign people believe they lost the election due to Russian interference, and that the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians during the campaign.  A full year of investigations into these allegations has produced zero proof of any such collusion, or really any evidence at all that the Russians influenced a single vote at the end of the day.
  • The truth, of course, is that it was the Democrats who were closely tied to the Russians, and the reason why the Democrats and their media agents have reacted so stunningly viciously to the election results is that they know that honest investigations into their activities will result in many, many Democrats – and possibly some fake journalists – serving major time in various federal prisons around the country.
  • Had Clinton won the election, there would have been no “Russia Collusion” fantasy play, no investigations into any of the matters listed above.  The Justice Department and FBI and our intelligence agencies would have remained utterly corrupted and would have protected all involved, just as they did during the Obama regime.
  • But they didn’t win the election, and they woke up the morning after election day frightened and desperate to come up with some way to divert attention to Trump and the Republicans.
  • We now know all of these things.  The only remaining question is whether Attorney General Sessions can force the FBI and his U.S. attorneys to focus their investigations properly.  We can only hope he will.  There is much investigating to do.

Just another day in desperate Democrats America.

That is all.
