Get Woke, Go Broke: BLMFL Ratings Continue Sprint to Rock Bottom

Monday Night Football’s opening weekend double-header continued the BLMFL’s “get woke, go broke” sprint for the bottom in the television ratings. After the Sunday Night Football marquis matchup between the LA Rams and the TV magnet Dallas Cowboys tanked 16.1% below the ratings for the 2019 SNF opener, the MNF double headers performed even worse.

After collapsing by about 18% during the 2016/2017 seasons following the advent of Colin Kaepernick’s national anthem kneeling antics, the league had regained about half of that loss over the past two seasons. The dismal performance of this weekend’s opening games shows that all of the genuflecting the league is doing towards the openly-Marxist terrorist group BLM has put it back on its downward track.

From a story at

According to ShowBuzz Daily, the doubleader on Monday night represented a major downtick in viewership from the same time slots a season ago.

  • Steelers at Giants: This game drew 10.8 million viewers on ESPN, down 21% from the early-game opener during Week 1 of the 2019 NFL season
  • Titans at Broncos: Drew 7.7 million viewers, down a whopping 38% from the late game last year.

These are just some startling numbers right here. They are also a continuation of a trend around the NFL world thus far on the young season.

This comes after the “Sunday Night Football” matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Rams in Los Angeles saw a drop of 16.1% from last season’s opener. America’s Team being unable to draw 15 million viewers during a global pandemic in which people are at home more often than in the past can’t be seen as great news for the NFL.

The “Monday Night Football” doubleheader is also interesting in that it included one of the two teams in the nation’s largest media market (New York Giants) opening things up against another big media market team in that of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Couldn’t happen to a more deserving bunch of people.

That is all.

Monday News Roundup: Biden’s Fracking Lie, Mini-Mike’s Money and Kaepernick Exposes the NFL

When the virtue signaling isn’t virtuous enough. – Opening week NFL games were chock-full of kneeling players and virtue signaling designed to appease activist players and the openly-Marxist Black Lives Matter domestic terror group. But the head activist player – who hasn’t actually played in four years – was not mollified by it all. Not mollified at all.

Colin Kaepernick, still angry that no NFL team wanted his poisonous presence in their locker room after he started the trend of kneeling during the national anthem at the suggestion of his Marxist girlfriend, lashed out at the league on Sunday, calling all of the virtue signaling what it really is: Propaganda.

From a story at Fox News:

Kaepernick appeared to be angered by the NFL pushing its social justice initiatives while his former teammate Eric Reid remained a free agent to start the season.

“While the NFL runs propaganda about how they care about Black Life, they are still actively blackballing Eric Reid (@E_Reid35) for fighting for the Black community. Eric set 2 franchise records last year, and is one of the best defensive players in the league,” Kaepernick wrote.

Reid is one of the best free agents available. He played and started all 16 games for the Carolina Panthers last season. He recorded 130 tackles and four sacks. He joined the Panthers a few weeks into the 2018 season. He recorded 71 tackles and an interception in that season.

Reid and Kaepernick were teammates with the San Francisco 49ers. When Kaepernick started his protest against police brutality and racism, Reid was the first player to kneel with him.

Upon Kaepernick’s departure and elongated free agency, he and Reid filed a grievance against the NFL alleging that owners were conspiring to keep them out of the league because of their protests. The lawsuit was eventually settled and Reid would later sign with the Panthers.

Note the sentence that says, “Reid is one of the best free agents available.” It’s something no one could honestly say about Kaepernick himself, who, after one really stellar season, was a career mediocrity. The lack of interest by any team in signing him after the 49ers released him was not only due to his locker room poison, but due to the fact that his addition to the roster would not improve any of the league’s 32 teams.

The situation with Reid, though, is entirely different. Reid is indeed an outstanding, Pro Bowl-quality talent. Thus, the refusal by a single team to try to sign him out of free agency becomes highly suspicious and reeks of anti-trust behavior by NFL teams.

For once, Colin Kaepernick has a valid point.

What has been the single most useless political asset in this entire election cycle? – If your answer to that question was “What is Mike Bloomberg’s money?” you win today’s edition of Election Jeopardy.

Mini-Mike Bloomberg announced over the weekend that he plans to spend up to $100 million of is own personal fortune on anti-Trump ads in Florida in an effort to try to get the foundering Biden/Harris campaign over the top in the Sunshine State.

From a story at Politico:

Billionaire Mike Bloomberg announced Sunday he would spend as much as $100 million in Florida to defeat President Donald Trump in his must-win state.

The infusion of cash comes as polls indicate a tightening of the race between Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden, who are deadlocked in a recent Marist Poll, and as Floridians start voting by mail at the end of the month.

Biden’s support among Hispanic voters is in double digits yet remains relatively low for a Democrat who wants to carry the state according to surveys of Latinos in Florida and Miami.

To that end, “communicating with Hispanic voters will be a key part” of Bloomberg’s effort, which will primarily focus on digital and TV ads, according to a press release issued on behalf of his Independence USA political committee.

Before any of you goes into a panic over this infusion of cash, let’s all remember that Mini-Mike reportedly wasted $800 million of his own personal fortune on his own run for the Democrat nomination, principally because he believed that none of the other candidates, including Biden, were capable of beating President Trump.

That investment of Mini-Mike cash resulted in ZERO primary victories and the accumulation of a total of 59 delegates to the party’s fake convention. The value of Mini-Mike cash has proven to be nothing to fear.

Well, this doesn’t fit Joe Biden’s fracking narrative at all. Not at all. – During an interview with CNN’s Fake Jake Tapper on Sunday, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti revealed the lie in Joe Biden’s denials about wanting to ban hydraulic fracturing:

Well, yeah, that really is clear to pretty much everyone other than lying, dissembling fake journalists like Tapper.

If you live in any oil and gas producing state in America, a vote for Biden/Harris is a vote for economic suicide. That’s clear as well.

Thanks for clearing that up, Mayor.

Meanwhile, in Portland, Oregon… – The 100+ days of rioting in Riot City USA have been called off by the Democrat Party sponsors due to bad polling. But this video clip from Sunday’s riot in Lancaster, PA captured by real journalist Andy Ngo just made my day:

That’s just glorious.

That is all.

Tuesday News Roundup: Ghislaine has the Tapes, and the Deafening Silence of Kaepernick Defenders

Have you noticed how the corrupt news media is not covering the arrest and charging of Ghislaine Maxwell? – Remember when Trump associate Roger Stone was arrested, how the FBI and Mueller goons had notified CNN in advance of the raid on his home?

Remember that CNN’s cameras were present when those 39 FBI agents wearing full armor, carrying semi-automatic rifles and backed up by actual tanks pounded Stone’s door in during the wee hours of the morning, took the elderly man into custody and frightened his elderly wife half to death? I certainly do.

Roger Stone was accused of the heinous crime of … wait for it … lying to the FBI. For that, he got the full-on American Gestapo treatment televised live on national TV from the U.S. government.

How about all those films CNN and other corrupt media outlets have shown you of the arrest of Ghislaine Maxwell, who is facing multiple felony counts of sex-trafficking and child abuse over a span of 25 years? Remember them?

Yeah, neither do I. There was no pounding down the door of Ghislaine Maxwell’s multi-million dollar, 40-acre estate. There were no tanks present at her arrest. Nor were there any CNN cameras present to televise the proceedings live. In fact, we have seen no film of any aspect of Ms. Maxwell’s arrest, arraignment or federal custody thus far.

Just reports like this one from The Hill today:

Accused Jeffrey Epstein accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell has been moved to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, the Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed to The Hill on Monday.

Maxwell, Epstein’s former girlfriend and longtime associate, faces a six-count indictment alleging she lured and groomed underage girls so that Epstein could sexually abuse them in the mid-1990s. The indictment that was unsealed last week accuses Maxwell of participating in the abuse sometimes herself.

The 58-year-old was arrested Thursday in New Hampshire and was kept over the weekend at the Merrimack County Jail, a medium-security facility about 20 miles from the home in which prosecutors found her, Reuters reported. The U.S. Marshals transferred Maxwell to New York.

Maxwell, the daughter of the late British media magnate Robert Maxwell, is being detained without bail as prosecutors declared her a flight risk. She faces up to 35 years in prison if convicted on four counts related to procuring and transporting minors for illegal sex acts and two counts of perjury for allegedly lying about her involvement.

Maxwell is expected to first appear in federal court in Manhattan on Friday as prosecutors requested in a letter to a judge Sunday.

To be clear, this is how the American system of justice is supposed to work – quietly, systematically, grinding slowly but finely towards the ultimate outcome.

The difference between the Stone case and the Maxwell case is the difference between having the case run by a power-and-media-hungry special counsel’s office supervised by a corrupt Deputy Attorney General and having it run by a real, live, ethical Attorney General who is focused on doing his damn job.

Thank you, William Barr for restoring proper order and a bit of dignity to the Department of Justice.

Oh, my; oh, my; oh, my, my, my... – Speaking of Ghislaine Maxwell, one of her good friends says she has possession of the collection of sex tapes that Jeffrey Epstein’s allegedly used to blackmail his clients.

From a piece at the New York Post:

Christopher Mason, a TV host and journalist who has known Maxwell since the 1980s, has said he was told that Epstein rigged his multiple homes with cameras and kept surveillance tapes of everyone and everything that went on in them.

Mason said she has access to the potentially compromising tapes.

And now, Maxwell’s former pal told the Daily Mail that she will use those recordings as a way to beat the rap.

“Ghislaine has always been as cunning as they come. She wasn’t going to be with Epstein all those years and not have some insurance,” the ex-friend told the news outlet.

“The secret stash of sex tapes I believe Ghislaine has squirreled away could end up being her get-out-of-jail card if the authorities are willing to trade. She has copies of everything Epstein had. They could implicate some twisted movers and shakers,” the former friend said.

Now do you understand why Maxwell’s expected life span can now be measured in days unless AG Barr surrounds her with an army?

This is another reason why it is absolutely, utterly imperative that Donald Trump be re-elected in November. Because if the Democrats win the presidency, then whatever corrupt clown who becomes attorney general will hold a public bonfire of the evidence in this case.

Hey, JJ Watt and Brett Favre, why so quiet all of a sudden? – Football heroes JJ Watt and Brett Favre famously defended national anthem-kneeler Colin Kaepernick in recent weeks. Watt excoriated fans who criticize Kaepernick’s kneeling, claiming that his antics are “not about the flag,” even though they obviously are.

Favre actually said Kaepernick would be remembered as a “hero,” going so far as to compare him to the truly heroic Pat Tillman, who was killed in action while serving his country in Afghanistan.

But both JJ and Brett have remained studiously silent about Kaepernick after the former mediocre 49ers QB said over the weekend that fireworks celebrations on July 4th are a symbol of “white supremacy.”

From a piece at Breitbart:

Watt insisted that “you aren’t listening,” if you still believe the anthem protests are about the flag or the military.

But Watt has been completely silent about Kaeprnick’s July 4 tweet calling our Independence Day holiday a “white supremacist” celebration.

As to who is “not listening,” it could be argued that Watt is the one refusing to listen to Colin Kaepernick. After all, as far back as 2016, Kaepernick himself said that he could never “stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses Black people and people of color.”

Kaepernick has repeatedly made it clear that he has contempt for America and all it stands for.

Early in his protests, Kaepernick specifically said that anti-Americanism was what his protest was all about. In August of 2016, he said, “I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color. To me, this is bigger than football, and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”

Also, in 2016, Kaepernick wore a shirt praising Cuban dictator and mass murderer Fidel Castro. In another instance, Kaepernick wore socks that portrayed all police officers as pigs.

C’mon, JJ. Let’s go, Brett: Defend  your heroic Marxist now. Your silence is truly deafening.

That is all.

NFL Owners: The Dumbest Collection Of 32 People In America

Today’s Campaign Update

  • Be honest, you’ve thought it for a long time:  The owners of teams in the National Football League are, as a collective group, not very bright.  The ham-handed way they and their mouthpiece, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, have handled – or actually, failed to handle – the ongoing player protests of the National Anthem and American Flag proves conclusively that their group decision-making skills rise no higher than those of that herd of cattle out on Farm Road 888.
  • It’s not that they lack intelligence as individuals – they are, as individuals, mostly highly intelligent people.  Yes, some – like the Luries, the Maras, the Irsays, the Halases and the Krafts – are legacy NFL names who inherited their respective franchises and great wealth from their parents.  But most, like Jerry Jones, Tom Benson, Robert McNair and Stan Kroenke, are very smart business people who who earned their money as entrepreneurs.  These are highly-intelligent people who are highly-motivated to maximize their profits, and have long histories of success in doing so.
  • Yet, you put these people into a group setting, and they appear to have no better decision-making skills than the average 3rd-grader.  If you want proof of that, look no further than the ongoing negotiations to extend Goodell’s current contract with the League, where he has now been Commissioner for a dozen years.
  • In those dozen years, Goodell has already managed to loot the NFL’s owners for more than $200 million in various forms of compensation, and his compensation for the current year is an unbelievable $30 million.  So, this collection of owners have already made this clown fabulously wealthy for doing a job that could be performed extremely well by any of 10,000 senior executives in this country, most any of whom would be more than happy to take it on for a fraction of what Goodell is currently knocking down.
  • But the NFL’s owners appear to have literally no interest at all in even talking about finding someone else to take the job, despite Goodell’s utter failure to deal with the anthem protests, which have cost the league about 20% of its viewing audience over the past two seasons, or the myriad other systemic issues that are slowly killing the NFL’s brand.  Nor is there any talk about making Goodell take a cut in pay for his rank incompetence, with the discussions simply centered around how long an extension to grant Goodell, and how much of a raise he gets.
  • Even Dallas Cowboys’ owner Jerry Jones, who last week threatened to sue the league  if its Compensation Committee approved the most current draft offer to Goodell, isn’t talking about any reduction in overall compensation for the Commish:  He merely wants to make the contract provisions based more on performance than is currently the case.
  • As for Goodell, he obviously completely understands the brand of ownership nitwittery he is dealing with here.  We know that because, according to ESPN, he recently submitted contract demands that would give him a huge raise – to $49.5 million per year – lifetime use of a private jet, and lifetime health insurance coverage for he and his entire family.
  • Some owners, Jones included, appear to understand the threat to the league that extending Goodell’s contract truly does represent at this point.  As one owner told ESPN, “The problem is, no one is talking about games anymore.  It’s about concussions, Jones vs. Goodell, [Ezekiel Elliott’s suspension], the anthem. No one is talking about football. It’s just killing the game.”
  • Yes, it is.  Or rather, Goodell and his inability to properly address all the various controversies swirling around the NFL, is killing the game.  Goodell is not only not a solution to these various problems, he is without doubt a major part of the league’s problem at this point.
  • And yet, this feckless owners group appears unalterably on a course to extend their problem’s contract, probably through the year 2024, and give him a huge raise for being such a problem to boot.  That is almost too stupid for words.

Just another day in dimwitted NFL owners group America.

That is all.

Dear NFL: Please Quit Acting Out So We Can Talk About Something Important

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Oh, my, where to begin?  I really wanted to talk about something other than the NFL’s increasingly tiresome “take a knee” follies, but they remain inescapable for one more day.

  • Let’s start with Cleveland basketball star Lebron James, who told reporters yesterday that the reason his current home state voted for Donald Trump in 2016 was that “I don’t think a lot of the voters was (sic) educated.”  For the record, Lebron James went straight from high school to the NBA and never looked back.
  • Longtime race-baiter Hillary Clinton is back to her race-baiting ways, accusing President Donald Trump (who else?) of being a racist for his comments against NFL players disrespecting the American flag.  “He doesn’t criticize Vladimir Putin, but he criticizes black athletes,” the disciple of racist senators J. William Fulbright and Robert Byrd commented at one stop on her book tour.
  • Most leading Democrats are wishing these days that Ms. Clinton would just shut up and go away, but she at least understands that the Democrat Party as it is currently constituted was built on shameless race-baiting and cannot survive going forward without this sort of constant effort to divide the country along racial lines.  The Democrats are already little more than a regional party whose base is overwhelmingly focused in America’s large inner cities, where the African American population tends to make up a much higher percentage of the overall total.  Ms. Clinton understands that the day the Democrats start getting less than 90% of the black vote is the day it basically disappears entirely.  Thus, her comments yesterday were actually directed, for once, at helping the party in her own demented way rather than her normal shameless self-aggrandizement at everyone else’s expense.  Go figure.
  • Speaking of the NFL, there was actually a game last night in between all the league’s and ESPN’s political activities, and the Dallas Cowboys – America’s Team – put a new twist on the whole “take a knee” deal.  Feeling a burning need to engage in some sort of “unity demonstration” (because after all, everybody else was doing it), the team, along with the coaches and owner Jerry Jones, lined up on the field prior to the national anthem, and, when they were certain the cameras were all focused on them, took a knee for about three seconds as the boos from the Arizona Cardinals’ crowd rained down upon them.  *sigh*
  • To their credit, the team, owner and coaches then backed their silly butts off to the sideline and actually all stood at attention while a field-size American flag was unfurled and the national anthem was sung in a quite inspired way by pop singer Jordin Sparks.  Good for them, and for her.
  • The one positive out of all of this is that, after about a 20 year hiatus, the leftwing networks who cover the game have started televising the national anthem again.  God bless America.
  • The President had his own Twitter take on this deal – because, of course he did – tweeting first that “The booing at the NFL football game last night, when the entire Dallas team dropped to its knees, was loudest I have ever heard. Great anger”.  Well…yep.
  • In his next 140 character comment, the President had basically the same reaction to it all that I did:  “But while Dallas dropped to its knees as a team, they all stood up for our National Anthem. Big progress being made-we all love our country!”
  • Sadly, given the disgusting way most other teams had allowed their players to disrespect the flag, the anthem, the veterans’ honor guards and the country without negative consequence, the way in which the Cowboys handled the whole thing in a unified way, with the entire organization participating, actually was “Big progress”, as President Trump said.
  • We can hope that, now that all these players and teams have had their 15 minutes of attention and various forms of “unity demonstrations”, they might now get back to just shutting up and playing football.  But that is probably too much to ask, which more than anything else shows exactly what is really at the base of all of this:  the players’ desperation for attention.
  • I have no use for Colin Kaepernick, but at least he was protesting against something specific and real when he was doing his one-man “look at me” act last season.  He made it clear that he was protesting ongoing police brutality issues in U.S. society.  But that has now been lost.  What exactly are all these players, coaches and owners demonstrating against now?  That they were insulted by President Trump’s comments last Friday?  Really?
  • Let’s be honest, if that’s what they’re doing out there, then the President’s remarks, which basically boiled down to the NFL commissioner and owners are allowing the inmates to run the asylum, obviously hit very, very close to home.  Otherwise, all this acting out wouldn’t be happening, now, would it?

Just another day in dying NFL America.

That is all.

The NFL Needs to Re-Focus on Football Before It’s Too Late

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • In an appearance on News One’s Roland Martin program earlier in the week, Houston Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee – who once told an interviewer that American astronauts had planted our flag on Mars – declared that the City of Houston is 50 feet below sea level.  This came as real news to every one who has ever lived in Houston, given that the city, while it does sit on low-lying coastal prairie land, is still well above sea level.  Democrats – if they didn’t exist, we’d have to make them up.  But I swear I don’t make this stuff up.
  • The National Football League, whose ratings were down significantly last year, is about to start bleeding an even larger part of its audience thanks to left wing political demonstrations by its players, and left wing political statements by the commentators who cover its games.  With the career mediocrity Collin Kaepernick no longer in the league to stage his National Anthem weekly sit-downs, more than a dozen players for the worst franchise in professional sports – the Cleveland Browns – have taken up the charge.
  • As was the case with Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers management, management for the Browns has collectively chosen to do nothing as the players make asses of themselves and their franchise on national television.  Because of this, on Friday Cleveland’s first responders announced that they will refuse to provide a representative group to hold Old Glory during a planned pre-game celebration this weekend.
  • This is becoming a growing problem for the NFL, as players from several other teams have chosen in recent weeks to turn this stage for a team game into a stage for them to exercise personal political grievances.  Making matters even worse for the league, management at ESPN and the other networks that televise the sport have given their announcers and analysts free rein to weigh in with their own political opinions on all manner of subjects during the game telecasts.  There is no question that this bringing of leftist political expression into the game in such a high-profile, bordering on pervasive manner has already impacted the NFL’s audience in a highly negative way, and will continue to do so if the league does not force teams to begin penalizing players who choose to use this team event as their own personal political platform.
  • If league leaders want to know what their league’s ultimate fate will be if they  fail to act to stop this mess, they only need to look to the film industry for their example.  Hollywood has just experienced its worst summer box office season in modern times, mainly because half of America’s citizens have grown weary of paying absurd admission and concessions prices to support an industry whose “stars” insult them at every given public opportunity.  It is as if these dim-witted actors and actresses simply don’t understand that these very people are the ones who have made them so fabulously wealthy and famous.
  • By the same token, refusing to stand for the national anthem and honor the flag is an insult to the people and the country that has given these football players their own opportunity to become fabulously wealthy and famous.  Millions of Americans have already responded by tuning NFL games out.  If the league fails to end this nonsense, and fails to instruct the announcers to focus on football instead of politics, many millions more will make the same decision in the years to come.
  • There has been much speculation in recent years that the NFL’s ongoing concussion issue will ultimately mean the end of the game of football as we have known it.  If the NFL doesn’t put an end to this ongoing effort by its players and broadcasters to fill its games with leftist politics, there soon won’t be anyone left who gives a damn.

Just another day Sheila Jackson Lee’s America, where Houston is below sea level, and we’ve already landed men on Mars.

That is all.

It’s Almost Football Season, Thank God

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • I’m a huge football fan – the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns are my fall passions – so this is the time of year I start to get really excited about the coming season.  The off-season for football is much longer than for other sports, making the pent up energy to be released on opening day almost unbearable by the time August rolls around.
  • Unfortunately, the Cowboys got some bad news from the NFL on Friday, as star running back Zeke Elliott was suspended for six games over an allegation that he punched a young woman last year.  This decision is bizarre, and at least on the record presented publicly, completely without merit.  Don’t get me wrong:  If Elliott did punch this woman, then he needs to be punished, and punished hard.  The problem is, the NFL has literally nothing but her word for it, while Elliott had several witnesses corroborating all or part of his own version of things.
  • I listened to the NFL’s lawyer explain his reasoning for the decision at the league’s press conference , and it basically came down to “well, Elliott’s lawyers didn’t give us a strong alternate narrative, so we just assumed the girl was telling the truth.”  So in other words, Elliott was assumed to be guilty because he couldn’t prove he was innocent. I have a real problem with that reasoning, and come to think of it, so does the Constitution of the United States.
  • Elliott’s representatives immediately announced they would appeal the suspension.  It’s a good bet it will be significantly reduced, though not eliminated entirely.  Roger Goodell must save face, after all.
  • Outrage among the country’s social justice warrior community continues over the fact that no NFL team has chosen to saddle itself with Colin Kaepernick and his traveling media circus as its backup quarterback.  I say ‘backup’ because Kaepernick has conclusively and consistently demonstrated he is not fit to be a starter in the league.  One writer at the Washington Post hilariously reasoned that “If Kaepernick were Tom Brady, Matt Ryan, Dak Prescott or any of the other star quarterbacks in the league, he’d have a job.”  Well, yeah, he would, because if he were Tom Brady, Matt Ryan or Dak Prescott, he’d be a good quarterback.  Did that really need to be pointed out?  Holy cow.
  • The NFL’s 32 team owners are being accused of being racists, cowards and all sorts of other idiotic things, but seriously, why would any franchise want to saddle itself with a mediocre football player who makes a spectacle of himself for purely personal reasons every Sunday on the sidelines?  Teams have enough actual football problems to worry about each week without voluntarily taking on the media circus that invariably rushes to Kaepernick wherever he goes.
  • And guess what else?  Once Kaepernick gives up on sucking more money from an NFL franchise and tries to latch on in Canadian football, no team up there is going to hire him, either.  What this all comes down to is not ‘racism’ or ‘cowardice’ or ‘collusion’, it comes down to the fact that the guy has chosen to saddle himself with all this baggage, and he’s not a good enough football player for any team to justify taking that on.
  • But enough about the sideshows – the Cowboys kick off this evening at 8:00.  Yeah, it’s just a pre-season game, but it’s football, dammit, and that’s enough for me.

Just another day in shut up and play ball America.

That is all.
