Monday News Roundup: President Trump Must Boycott the Final Debate

At 9:00 a.m. Sunday morning, Joe Biden’s elder-abusing handlers called a “lid.” So, what’s new, you ask? Well, the “lid” is going to last until the final debate, scheduled for Thursday, October 22.

That’s right: The Democrat Party’s Unfrozen Caveman Candidate, plagued by dementia and scandal, is currently in the midst of a four-day “lid” just two weeks away from Election Day.

It’s the campaign that never was.

Meanwhile, while Creepy Uncle McWifeMolester was holed up in his basement hooked up to his handy IV, President Donald Trump campaigned in Nevada and California, where he drew massive crowds like this one just for driving down the street:

That’s in California, folks, the state in which Biden supposedly leads President Trump by 34 points in the media-sponsored polls. But you’re expected to believe without critical thought or comment that the man who draws crowds like this one everywhere he goes in this country is losing to the guy who regularly speaks to empty parking lots and junior high gymnasiums.

Yeah, that’s not happening.

Meanwhile, this is the caliber of person Quid Pro China Joe is sending out to represent him on the airwaves. – Watch as Fox News’s Leland Vittert, a rank Trump-hating liberal, eviscerates Biden surrogate Jenna Arnold about the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop on Sunday:

And there you have the real reason why Biden is going to spend the next four days hiding in his basement: His campaign has no earthly idea what to say about the graft and corruption already reported by the New York Post and Fox News, and Biden’s people know there is much, much more to come from that apparent treasure trove of depravity and crime.

Even worse, Biden’s corrupt toadies in the mainstream news media are also at a loss about how to defend their man on this, and have now decided to simply try to change the subject back to fear porn about the China Virus. Yes, friends, we are back to all China Virus all the time in our national and local news casts, with the focus being on a rising level of new “cases” because the death rate just keeps dropping, a fact that most Americans would applaud but the media hates because it is inconvenient to their preferred narrative.

If you believe that sudden, coordinated shift in focus by every media outlet in America is just the natural result of good news work, you may be extremely naïve. Perhaps fatally so.

All of which finally brings me to the point of this piece, which is that the President must boycott Thursday’s last debate. He must do this for several reasons:

First, the playing field for this debate is stacked against him to the point of abject absurdity. The “moderator,” NBC White House fake reporter Kristen Welker, is a lifelong Democrat whose parents have given tens of thousands of dollars to the Biden/Obama campaigns. She is one of the most ridiculously hostile and vapid members of the White House press corps, and the President should not legitimize her as a professional by allowing her to interrogate him and constantly interrupt him on Thursday.

The White House press corps should be abandoned and banned from the White House grounds as the enemies of the people that they are, not treated as if they were actual journalists.

Second, Welker’s chosen topics for this debate read like they were written for her by the Biden/Harris Harris/Biden campaign, which they probably were, come to think of it. Not a single question about the economy? Nothing on immigration? Nothing on the historic outbreak of Trump-brokered Middle East peace deals that have now seen him receive three Nobel Peace Prize nominations?

But Welker does plan to spend 10-15 minutes on “Climate Change” so she can pontificate about ‘science’ and stuff. Even worse, you know she will not spend one second demanding that Biden explain the influence racket he and his son were running out of the U.S. Naval Observatory while serving as Vice President.

Again, this approach is not something President Trump or any Republican should spend a single moment legitimizing with his presence.

Finally, the Commission on Presidential Debates needs to be blown up into a million pieces and scattered to the winds, and that has never been more obvious than it has become this year. The uniformly anti-Trump, anti-conservative, anti-Republican selections of “moderators” for this year’s debates is not really anything new, but the intensity of their obvious bias and hatred has risen to new heights.

Think about it: the Commission was so focused on tilting the playing field against the sitting POTUS that it selected one moderator who is actually a former intern for Biden. That moderator, C-Span’s Steve Scully, was so biased and dishonest that he literally disqualified himself and was suspended from his job for publicly lying to the country about his efforts to tilt the second debate.

Chris Wallace was so openly hostile to the President during the first debate that he actually spent more time debating Trump than Biden did. And now, President Trump is expected to just show up on Thursday and pretend that the Commission’s third selected Democrat activist, Welker, is somehow legitimate?

No. No, Mr. President, you must not do this. This farce, this DC Swamp Kabuki Theater pretense must come to an end. The feckless, useless Republican National Committee has allowed it to exist and demean its candidates for far, far too long.

This process must be destroyed for the good of this country, and if Donald Trump won’t do what is needed to achieve that goal, then who ever will?

The Commission on Presidential Debates must be destroyed. The time to do it is now. Just schedule a rally in Minnesota or Wisconsin or Pennsylvania for Thursday night and stop pretending any of this is legitimate.

Enough of this nonsense.

That is all.

Debate Commission Fiasco Reinforces the Need to Re-Elect Donald J. Trump

Even Bob Dole knows they’re a bunch of #NeverTrump nitwits. – In the midst of the running controversy over the Commission on Presidential Debates on Friday, America heard from perhaps the most unlikely source imaginable when Bob Dole weighed in on the matter.

In a tweet, the former Kansas Senator, WWII hero and 1996 presidential contender flayed the Commission for what it truly is: A bunch of swampy, Trump-hating jackasses:

Well, ok, he didn’t use the words “hating” or “jackasses,” but if you’ve ever been around Bob Dole for any length of time you know he was thinking them.

This is, of course, the absolute truth about this Commission, which is constituted exactly like the Op/Ed pages of the Washington Post and the New York Times. You have a pack of mindless leftists joined by a handful RINOs for “balance,” and not a single supporter of the President of the United States of America among them.

As a result, you end up with notorious Trump-hater and son of communist Mike Wallace, Chris Wallace as the moderator of the first debate; a former intern for Joe Biden as the second moderator; and Kristen Welker, NBC’s member of the White House press corps that regularly badgers the President with the most absurdly accusatory and biased questions possible as the third. These are the most “balanced” people this particular Commission was able to identify among the nation’s media establishment, which tells you all you need to know about how this game is perpetually rigged against Republicans. I mean, this group of moderators is not even exceptionally biased when compared to panels of the past.

This is also how you end up with Commission conspiring with the Biden campaign to declare that the second debate would be held “virtually,” without first consulting with the Trump people. The Biden handlers and Commission chairman Frank Fahrenkopf also claimed that the Biden camp was not consulted on that decision, but this is a transparent lie, and not the only one Farhrenkopf is guilty of telling over the past couple of days.

Farhrenkopf also backed up second debate moderator Steve Scully’s ludicrous claim that his Twitter account had been “hacked” after he messed up and tweeted out a message to Trump-hater Anthony Scaramucci Thursday night that he had intended to be a private message. Enterprising Twitter users determined that this was in fact no less than the third time that Scully has claimed to have been “hacked” after issuing embarrassing tweets.

Here’s a fact: Almost no one’s Twitter account is ever hacked. It pretty much never really happens, and if it does, it’s a crime. So, where is Scully’s police report? Yeah, that doesn’t exist despite Fahrenkopf’s absurd claim that the hacking was being investigated by some nebulous “authorities.”

It’s all a smelly load of horse manure, just like everything else that happens in the nation’s swampy capital, and it is just one more of a million reasons why I will walk barefoot over hot coals, broken glass, and acres of South Texas summertime sticker burrs to vote for President Donald Trump.

You should do the same.

That is all.

Thursday News Roundup: Chris Wallace Fills in for CNN in Debates, Commie Portland Mayor Relocates

Tired of all this WINNING yet? – In case you missed it yesterday, the stock market rocketed skywards again on Wednesday amid ongoing positive economic news.

The NASDAQ shot over 12,000 for the first time to reach a new all-time high. The S&P 500 closed at 3,581, also a new record close. Meanwhile, the Dow Jones Industrial average rose by 455 points to close above 29,000 for the first time this year, finishing the day at 29,101. The Dow has now regained 98% of its losses early this year, and is within 400 points of its all-time record close.

Tired of all this WINNING? Not even close. We need at least another 4 years.

Facebook joins the Democrat/media effort to brainwash you into accepting a stolen election. – Facebook announced this morning that it is enacting two new measures designed to condition you to think it is President Trump, and not the Democrats, who is plotting to steal the November election.

Facebook says it will refuse to run political ads the week prior to Election Day, and that it will create a “new label” for posts by candidates claiming victory before the official results have been certified.

The first measure is a direct attack on the Trump Campaign, given its huge edge in effective social media advertising. The second measure is Facebook’s effort to coordinate the Democrat strategy laid out earlier this week by the Democrat front group Hawfish, which I covered in a piece yesterday. Here’s an excerpt from that piece:

On Tuesday, Axios ran a story quoting a representative of the Bloomberg-funded Democrat firm called Hawkfish, laying out the scenario the Democrat/Media Axis of Propaganda is attempting to set up for the November Elections. The scenario envisions a socially explosive situation created by the Democrats. The first part of it involves President Trump holding a huge lead in both the popular vote and the Electoral College when we all trudge off to bed on Election Night. But that lead won’t hold as Democrat vote counters in Blue and Red states around the country “find” boxes and boxes filled with “mail-in ballots” that magically contain the number of votes Biden needs to overtake Trump’s Election Day lead.

[End]

See the connection here? It’s pretty transparent.

Again, the media – including social media – is brainwashing you to be willing to accept a stolen election in the weeks following Election Day. They really aren’t even hiding it at this point.

This is CNN… – Watch Attorney General William Barr decimate slimy Wolf Blitzer on the question of mass mail-in voting:

Glorious.

Speaking of CNN… – CNN was left out of the list of debate moderators that was released on Wednesday. This is the first time in this century that the fake news channel will not have one of its Democrat Party operatives trying to slant one of the debates. The reason for this is obvious: Even the Commission on Presidential Debates knows that CNN is no longer anything resembling a legitimate “news” operation.

But that knowledge by the Commission did not stop it from loading up its list of “moderator” with nothing but Trump haters. That list is led by this guy:

Rey LoweIffert on Twitter: "#FNS it's very clear we are not nation-building. We are standing up for international law and what is right. why does Chris Wallace seem to have a real

Yes, friends, Chris Wallace, the lisping son of famous communist Mike Wallace, and a man who would be far more at home sitting next to Wolf Blitzer on CNN, will serve as the “moderator” of the first presidential debate. Those screams of joy you heard yesterday when this was announced were emanating from Joe Biden’s basement.

This invariable stacking of the deck in favor of the Democrat candidate is why the debate “commission” should be disbanded, and future debates should simply be organized by the respective campaigns. If the campaigns can’t agree to a format and moderators, then you don’t have debates. Simple.

You would think these Democrat-sponsored domestic terrorists would be more grateful. – Ted Wheeler probably still doesn’t understand this immutable fact of leftist revolutions, but he and his fellow Useful Idiots in the Democrat Party will be the first to be executed should their dream of a Marxist revolution ever come to full fruition.

Wheeler has received a clear preview of that difficult reality this week, as the same domestic terrorists he and his Party have encouraged and funded for almost 100 days now invaded his pricey condominium complex beginning on Sunday, and have continued targeting it all week. At one point they even set fires that threatened to burn the place down.

Obviously, poor Commie Ted has now been beset with complaints from his fellow wealthy and privileged neighbors, who were likely just fine with the riots as long as they didn’t come to their own neighborhood. So, Commie Ted announced yesterday that he would be departing his lovely condo and moving to undisclosed, but no doubt equally splendid grounds:

Wheeler wrote a letter to his neighbors informing them that he was moving in order to avoid more violence from protesters at the condominium.

“I want to express my sincere apologies for the damage to our home and the fear that you are experiencing due to my position. It’s unfair to all of you who have no role in politics or in my administration,” read the letter according to The Oregonian, which obtained a screenshot of the message.

He went on to say that it would be best for him “and for everyone else’s safety and peace” to move from the condominium.

[End]

Aw, poor Commie Ted, a victim of the evil he helped to create.

Speaking of Portland, how about those riots! – The Democrat-sponsored riots raged in Portland for a 99th straight night.  Here are some highlights provided by real journalist Andy Ngo, including information on where the extremely wealthy Commie Mayor might be moving:

The DOJ has now cross-deputized local law enforcement so that assaults by rioters on them now become federal crimes. Thus, William Barr outsmarts local Soros-funded DA who refuses to prosecute them:

Even the liberal courts in the 9th Circuit are turning against the Democrat terrorists:

The President signed a memo yesterday ordering his agencies to find ways to defund lawless Democrat-controlled cities like Portland:

Finally, here is a witness to the murder of a Trump supporter by Democrat domestic terrorists in Portland last weekend:

That is all.

Monday News Roundup: Retail Social Justice, Broke Creepy Porn Lawyer, Kamala’s Face and More

Because nothing says “social justice” like looting some cheap Chinese crap sold by Amazon. – The riots continued in Seattle on Sunday. To demonstrate their support for “social justice” for Black people, a gang of chubby, homely, pasty-faced white people looted an Amazon store:

You could never make this stuff up, folks.

The corrupt new-fakers at the New York Times tweeted this tribute to the late Rep. John Lewis yesterday:

Nowhere in the referenced piece does the Times mention the fact that Mr. Lewis and Martin Luther King were protesting against Jim Crow policies in the South that had been implemented by pretty much exclusively Democrat Governors and state legislatures, and enforced by the armed wing of the Democrat Party, the Ku Klux Klan. Those “white mobs” the Times talks about were made up almost entirely of yellow dog Democrats.

As much as the Times loves to ignore it, the history of the civil rights movement of the 1950s and 1960s is one of Black activists supported by liberal white Republicans fighting against the policies of the Democrat Party. Period.

The Creepy Porn Lawyer runs out of stolen money. – This will do doubt break your hearts (not). Micheal Avenatti, the media darling who CNN and MSNBC spent an entire year promoting as a legit candidate for the 2020 Democrat Party presidential nomination, is now flat, dead broke:

From a piece at the New York Post:

Michael Avenatti is broke and can’t pay his legal fees, the California attorney who has represented the discredited lawyer for more than a year claims.

Dean Steward filed a motion in federal court Saturday detailing Avenatti’s financial woes and is now asking for taxpayer help to cover his costs.

“The bottom line is that Mr. Avenatti has run out of funds, and faces a complex trial lasting as long as six weeks,” Steward wrote in a filing to the federal judge overseeing one of Avenatti’s three ongoing criminal cases.

[End]

Oh, darn. Oh, heck. Oh, hecky-darn.

Let him rot.

“What in the hell happened to Kamala Harris’s face?” – That is the question everyone on Twitter was asking on Sunday after she made an appearance on one of the Sunday morning fake news shows. Take a look at this side-by-side video and see if you can spot the difference:

In other news, plastic surgeons in Harris’s home of San Francisco are cancelling future appointments due to a severe shortage of botox. Coincidence?

There goes Chris Wallace, lying to Fox News’s viewers one more time. – During his interview aired yesterday with President Donald Trump, despicable dishonest Chris Wallace made a big production out of disputing the President’s claim that Biden supports defunding the police.

The problem for Wallace is that Biden did actually say he supports the defunding of police in one of his little-watched webcasts. Here you go:

Chris Wallace is not a journalist: He’s a propagandist, just like his Marxist daddy was before him. It’s a family tradition.

It is inexplicable to me why the President would grant an interview to Wallace. Wallace’s show is not highly-rated and you know you will not receive fair treatment from him since he views his role as that of a propagandist rather than of a reporter.

At one point in the interview, Trump told Wallace “Let Biden sit through an interview like this, he’ll be on the ground crying for mommy.” That’s true, but there are several problems with that premise:

– First, Creepy Uncle Quid Pro Farty China Joe Biden would never agree to sit down with Wallace to do an interview like the President did. Wallace in fact started the conversation with Mr. Trump by noting that he had agreed to a wide-ranging interview with no subjects off-limits. Joe Biden couldn’t last 30 seconds under those conditions.

– Second, if Biden ever did do an interview with Wallace, the subject matter would be strictly limited and Wallace would gladly accede to whatever restrictions Biden’s handlers demanded.

Because Chris Wallace is not a journalist: He’s a rank propagandist. No president should ever agree to grant an interview to such a person, and it’s a shame the President did it for Wallace.

That is all.

Monday News Roundup: CHAZ Demands, Stelter Pounded, and Truth From the Least Expected Place

SHOCK: Berkeley professor tells the flat-out truth about George Floyd and the riots. – This was referred to me by a friend on Sunday. It’s something you really don’t expect to see, unvarnished truth coming from a professor on the campus of UC Berkeley in a letter to his colleagues. Here’s a short excerpt from it:

I am one of your colleagues at the University of California, Berkeley. I have met you both personally but do not know you closely, and am contacting you anonymously, with apologies. I am worried that writing this email publicly might lead to me losing my job, and likely all future jobs in my field.

In your recent departmental emails you mentioned our pledge to diversity, but I am increasingly alarmed by the absence of diversity of opinion on the topic of the recent protests and our community response to them. In the extended links and resources you provided, I could not find a single instance of substantial counter-argument or alternative narrative to explain the under-representation of black individuals in academia or their over-representation in the criminal justice system. The explanation provided in your documentation, to the near exclusion of all others, is univariate: the problems of the black community are caused by whites, or, when whites are not physically present, by the infiltration of white supremacy and white systemic racism into American brains, souls, and institutions.

Many cogent objections to this thesis have been raised by sober voices, including from within the black community itself, such as Thomas Sowell and Wilfred Reilly. These people are not racists or ‘Uncle Toms’. They are intelligent scholars who reject a narrative that strips black people of agency and systematically externalizes the problems of the black community onto outsiders. Their view is entirely absent from the departmental and UCB-wide communiques.

The claim that the difficulties that the black community faces are entirely causally explained by exogenous factors in the form of white systemic racism, white supremacy, and other forms of white discrimination remains a problematic hypothesis that should be vigorously challenged by historians. Instead, it is being treated as an axiomatic and actionable truth without serious consideration of its profound flaws, or its worrying implication of total black impotence. This hypothesis is transforming our institution and our culture, without any space for dissent outside of a tightly policed, narrow discourse.

[End]

You can and should go read the rest of it at this link. You’ll be better educated for doing so.

Speaking of George Floyd… – The “peaceful protesters” were back out on the streets of New York City on Sunday.:

With “peaceful protesters” like these, who needs Antifa?

Here is a Trump advisor who needs more airtime. – Watch as Trump Campaign legal advisor Jenna Ellis puts CNN’s resident news-faking eunuch Brian Stelter in his place:

The truth hurts, especially when it occasionally shows up on CNN.

Speaking of news-faking eunuchs… – Fox News’s own resident news-faking eunuch, Chris Wallace, took a moment off from hawking his latest ghost-written book to say this on the same subject:

“You see some reporters now who have become advocates — I see it in the press briefings now. You know, I was pretty tough in the press briefings with Ronald Reagan and his press secretaries in the 80s, but we were basically trying to get information. Some of the press briefings now I see the White House press corps — it’s supposed to be one of the top jobs in journalism — it’s more playing gotcha or more just trying to get in arguments and advance their point of view. That’s not what we’re supposed to be doing.”

“I think too many reporters have fallen into the role of being advocates and, frankly with this president, anti-Trump advocates,” Wallace continued, saying that journalists need to be able to stay “neutral” and “call balls and strikes.”

[End]

Of course, he preceded that by parroting Stelter’s complaint that the President’s “attacks” on corrupt media outlets are somehow “outrageous.” Because, in his heart, Chris Wallace is no different from his muck-raking Marxist daddy.

Well, except for New York City, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Austin, Chicago and every other Democrat-run city in America. – House majority whip James Clyburn actually said that “nobody is going to defund the police” in an interview over the weekend.

On the very same day, the New York Times ran an op/ed penned by a Democrat activist titled “Yes, We Mean Literally Abolish the Police.” Just so that no one thinks that the headline might not reflect the piece’s content, here are the first three paragraphs:

Congressional Democrats want to make it easier to identify and prosecute police misconduct; Joe Biden wants to give police departments $300 million. But efforts to solve police violence through liberal reforms like these have failed for nearly a century.

Enough. We can’t reform the police. The only way to diminish police violence is to reduce contact between the public and the police.

There is not a single era in United States history in which the police were not a force of violence against black people. Policing in the South emerged from the slave patrols in the 1700 and 1800s that caught and returned runaway slaves. In the North, the first municipal police departments in the mid-1800s helped quash labor strikes and riots against the rich. Everywhere, they have suppressed marginalized populations to protect the status quo.

[End]

D’oh! Somebody forgot to send the DNC talking points memo to the New York Times.

How about we just declare everyone participating in the CHAZ to be an illegal alien and deport them instead? – This is rich: The Antifa morons occupying Seattle’s Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone demanded on Sunday that the U.S. immediately provide amnesty to the 20 million+ illegal aliens currently in the country. As reported by Breitbart:

Officials for CHAZ also said illegal aliens must be called “undocumented” because “no person is illegal.” The demands include:

We demand that the funding previously used for Seattle Police be redirected into:

A) Socialized Health and Medicine for the City of Seattle.

B) Free public housing, because housing is a right, not a privilege.

C) Public education, to decrease the average class size in city schools and increase teacher salary.

D) Naturalization services for immigrants to the United States living here undocumented. (We demand they be called “undocumented” because no person is illegal.)

E) General community development. Parks, etc.

So, here we have a bunch of people who are literally claiming to have invented their own separate and autonomous country by illegally occupying six square blocks in downtown Seattle, sending out a list of demands to the U.S. government. Seems like the proper approach here would be for the federal government to recognize the CHAZites’ separate, non-U.S. citizenship and deport them to someplace like Venezuela where they would feel more at home and no doubt be treated as they deserve to be treated by the authorities there.

You seriously could never make this stuff up.

That is all.

Monday News Roundup: Democrats Crack, Trump Doubles Down, McEnany Blasted by Hacks

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Is the Democrat governor dam cracking? – Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, a true doofus who has kept his entire state on lockdown despite seeing fewer than 100 Wuhan Virus deaths that did not occur among nursing home residents, seems to be beginning to see the light.

Two days after President Donald Trump threatened to begin withholding federal funds from states that continue to discriminate against places of worship, Walz announced on Sunday that churches in his state would be able to reopen at 25% capacity beginning Tuesday. The Governor had been under heavy pressure from Catholic and Lutheran leaders, who informed him in a letter they planned to reopen Tuesday regardless of any orders he chose to leave in place.

Here’s an excerpt as reported in the Daily Caller:

Walz had previously announced that restaurants, bars, and certain small businesses would be allowed to open at 50% capacity on June 1, but this order did not afford the same relaxation of restrictions to churches and instead limited church serves to 10 people.

Minnesota Catholic and Lutheran churches responded to Walz’s order in a Wednesday letter in which Archbishop of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, Reverend Bernard A. Hebda, told Walz that public masses in Minnesota would resume May 26.

“It concerns us, however, that we still are without a clear roadmap, metrics, or definite timeline from your administration about a phased re-opening,” the letter told Walz. “Executive Order 20-56, moreover, seems to have taken a step backward, imposing an explicit prohibition on faith-based gatherings where none had existed.”

“Your willingness, at the same time, to allow a ‘click forward’ for other sectors and activities on your dial –many of which cannot be classified as essential as the life of faith, prompts us to consider it necessary to move forward. We certainly remain ready to work with your administration as events unfold and circumstances change.”

[End]

Thus, Walz relented under pressure. This could be the start of a trend.

Nevada’s doofus Governor, Steve Sisolak, also finds himself under increasing pressure. One reason why is the data, which increasingly reveals that the man’s ongoing shutdown orders have no basis in science or reason. Check this out:

Image

Sisolak and his medical advisors repeatedly warned that the state would probably see a significant increase in hospitalizations and new cases once restaurants were allowed to start reopening at low capacity on May 9. Instead, the number of new hospitalizations per day in Clark County have dropped steadily to zero.

With his senseless, draconian shutdown orders threatening to destroy his state’s gaming industry, most now expect Sisolak to announce on Tuesday that he will allow casinos to reopen at 25% capacity beginning on June 4. We’ll see.

One thing is for sure: As the data increasingly demonstrates that every prediction they’ve made about this virus is false, the cracks in the Democrat dam of obstruction are growing. The crowded beaches, lakes and shopping centers we have seen all over the country on this long weekend show that most Americans are already over this unprecedented and nonsensical approach to virus control and ready to resume living their lives.

Holdout Democrat brutes like Gretchen Whitmer, Kate Brown, Tom Wolf, Gavin Newsom and Andrew Cuomo will ultimately be faced with a choice of relenting or seeing their citizens force the issue en mass. Because this is still America, even in the blue states, whether they like it or not.

It all comes down to Ratcliffe, Barr and Durham. – President Trump gave a wide-ranging interview to Sinclair New’s Sharyl Atkisson, host of ”The Full Measure.” Among many other topics, Mr. Trump probably put the final nail into the coffin of the flagging campaign of Jeff Sessions, which is a service to the country.

The interview is very long, and the full transcript can be found at this link. The President made some particularly interesting remarks about Obamagate and his four-year battle with the Deep State. Here are some excerpts from that:

Now what’s happened, but I didn’t know people in Washington and whether it’s Sessions, which was a mistake or Dan Coats was a big mistake, but Sessions was a big one. Coats, he sat there. He didn’t do anything. When you look at what Richard Grenell has done in eight weeks, these people didn’t do anything for two and a half years. They should have been exposing this. So I’m very disappointed in certain people.

I’m fighting the deep state. I’m fighting the swamp. And I said I was doing it. And I’m exposing the swamp. I think if it keeps going the way I’m going, and Ratcliffe is fantastic. If it keeps going the way it’s going, I have a chance to break the deep state. It’s a vicious group of people. It’s very bad for our country.

They never thought I was going to win, and then I won. And then they tried to get me out. That was the insurance policy. She’s going to win, but just in case she doesn’t win we have an insurance policy. And now I beat them on the insurance policy, and now they’re being exposed. Comey is a dirty cop, McCabe, bad guy. These are all bad guys. Lisa Page and Strzok. These are the two lovers, right? And they use public servers. They put it out public, because they didn’t want anybody to see, like spouses, et cetera, to see that they were having an affair. And because they did that, they got caught. Tremendous things have happened. They forged documents. We caught them. They had people that had forged documents.

Now, hopefully Bill Barr is going to do something about it. And you know what? Other things are going to come out too. And a lot of other things are going to come out, but you don’t even need other things. What they’ve done is so corrupt, they’ve tried to take down a duly elected president of the United States, happens to be in this case, me, but we can never allow it to happen again.

[End]

Interesting stuff, and rumors were flying in DC over the weekend that this could be a very interesting week. Let’s hope so.

You can tell the quality of a person by their enemies. – If that old adage is true, then Kayleigh McEnany is obviously a stellar person doing a hell of a job in her role as White House Press Secretary.

On Fox News Sunday, McEnany became the target of corrupt old media hack Chris Wallace and never-was Jonah Goldberg, who in 20 years has yet to write a single memorable word. Wallace clutched his pearls and tut-tutted about McEnany’s regular lecturing of the press corps, saying that “I spent six years in the White House briefing room covering Ronald Reagan. I have to say, I never — and in the years since too — I never saw a White House press secretary act like that. I have to say that if Kayleigh McEnany had told Sam Donaldson and me what questions we should ask, that would not have gone well.”

Of course, what Wallace fails to mention is that, as biased as he was, a Sam Donaldson in his prime would have been all over Obamagate, because he used to be an actual working journalist. Wallace never really was much of a journalist, and probably would have just parroted the Democrat Party narrative, something he’s made an entire career out of doing.

But the capper came when Goldberg, the “Never Trump” surrender monkey who has used the Wuhan Virus outbreak as an excuse to lose his razor blade and gain 30 pounds, called McEnany’s practice of actually fighting back against press hostility as “indefensible and grotesque.” This is completely in keeping with the “Never Trump” credo that good fake conservatives must never fight back, but keep surrendering ground so that they can get invited to all the right DC/New York dinner parties and occasionally appear on the Fox News Sunday panels with Chris Wallace.

People like Goldberg have built good livings out of constantly losing and surrendering. Thus, they despise Trump and anyone who supports him, because those people are upsetting the apple cart on which they have built their entire careers.

These are the worst people in our society, folks, leeches who produce nothing of value. Remember their faces and never forget what they have tried to do to our country.

This is especially important on this Memorial Day, as we remember our fallen heroes who lost their lives fighting to preserve our freedoms. Not a single surrender monkey or societal leech among them.

Mike Bloomberg is the Wizard of Oz

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Mike Bloomberg is the illustrative case for the limits of the effectiveness of paid advertising.

Quid Pro Joe Biden is so confident of a victory in South Carolina on Saturday that he just scheduled an appearance on Fox New Sunday with Chris Wallace Sunday morning so he can brag about his first-ever primary victory across his 3 different presidential campaigns.

The Commie, Bernie Sanders, has so much momentum in the race for the nomination that he is now regularly drawing crowds of thousands to his campaign rallies.

Fauxcahontas is running surprisingly strong in a raft of Super Tuesday polls, coming in second to The Commie key states like California and Massachusetts, and a strong third place in Texas.

Meanwhile, Mini-Mike Bloomberg is left sucking wind. After spending more than $400 million of his personal fortune, mostly on paid advertising, Mr. Excitement’s insurgent presidential campaign is foundering with little prospect of recovery.

The little ex-Mayor’s polling numbers have collapsed in the wake of two disastrous debate performances, and with his ubiquitous advertising campaign now having reached point of saturation – and probably even now having moved into the consumer annoyance phase – he has no visible options available to change the trajectory of the race in his favor.

Bloomberg’s money was able to influence Democrat voters to a certain extent, and at one point had even gotten him to the point of leading in polls in Arkansas and Oklahoma. But no amount of advertising can force voters to support a candidate whose stark reality as revealed in those nationally-televised debate did not in any way measure up to the image presented in his ads.

That image was of a man of supreme confidence, energy and competence who could get things done in the face of great adversity. The reality seen in the debates was of a nervous, stammering old man with little energy, a man who had no believable answers when challenged by a life-long fraud like Lieawatha to explain himself.

The image was of a man who could stand up to the evil Trump and blast him in a general election campaign. The reality seen in the debates was a tiny man who couldn’t stand up to the likes of Preacher Pete, The Commie and Amy Klobuchar.

The image was of a compassionate individual who treated women and minorities with equality and respect. The reality seen in the debates and videos of his past statements was of an abusive boss who discriminated against women in the workplace and against minorities while serving as Mayor of the nation’s largest city.

Once the reality of the man had been revealed for all to see, no amount of paid advertising could put that genie back into the bottle.

Mike Bloomberg is the man behind the curtain. He is, at the end of the day, The Wizard of Oz.

That is all.

Mitt Romney, Looooooser Again

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Tired of all this WINNING yet? – The S&P 500 closed at a new record high on Wednesday, as the Dow Jones Industrial average surged by 483 points, and the NASDAQ also recorded significant gains. The markets were buoyed by the acquittal of President Donald Trump by the Senate along with positive indications of progress in developing a vaccine for the Coronavirus. The WINNING is glorious.

In other news, Mitt Romney is still a LOOOOOOOOOOOSER. – The junior Senator from Utah finally managed to secure a place in history, albeit alongside fellow American loooooooosers like Benedict Arnold and Aaron Burr, becoming the only Senator in the long history of our nation to vote in favor of removing a president from his own political party.

After telling the execrable Chris Wallace in an interview – that Romney himself requested, think about that – that he would vote ‘yes’ on both articles of impeachment, Romney then went out and delivered a speech, complete with fake tears, on the Senate floor, blaming his idiotic decision on his religion. The gutless hypocrite then tried to have things both ways, actually splitting his vote, voting ‘yes’ on Article 1, but ‘no’ on Article 2.

What a buffoon. What a gutless, mendacious looooooooser this guy is.

Hilariously, within moments after the impeachment trial had finally, blessedly adjourned, the Trump campaign issued an ad that it had already created in anticipation of the Romney betrayal. Check this out:

The ad, of course, was met with much tsk-tsking and pearl clutching from the two dozen nitwits who remain in the #NeverTrump faction of the GOP, to whom Romney remains a looooooooser hero for his actively tanking the 2012 election against Barack Obama His Own Self. But nobody cared, least of all President Trump, who also sent the corrupt media mavens into howls of outrage by tweeting out this gem a little later:

If only he could live that long.

In the end, all the loooooooooser Romney could accomplish was to hand the Democrats and their corrupt media toadies a talking point that will last a day or two. The inept creep is so ineffective at influencing his colleagues that he wasn’t even able to bring fellow RINOs like Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski along with him into the annals of traitorous infamy.

Romney believes he is safe from the voters back home despite his mendacity, since he doesn’t have to face them again until 2024. But voters – especially those of the conservative stripe – tend to have long memories about the special kind of deceit Romney practiced in getting elected to his senate office in 2018. Remember, Romney ran as “an extreme conservative,” and promised voters he would strongly support the President’s goals. Remember, too, that Romney repeatedly sought a high position in the incoming Trump Administration, and made many public statements filled with glowing praise about the President at that time and during his campaign.

But hey, Romney’s probably going to be running for the presidency in 2024 – that’s what this vote was really all about. He’s just positioning himself as the titular leader for an anti-Trump rebellion within the GOP as the Trump second term winds down. That’s another looooooooser of a proposition, but Mitt loves loooooooosing.

Romney bragged to Wallace that he has “voted with the President 80% of the time.” But that percentage would actually place him among the most disloyal members of the senate Republican caucus. Hell, simply voting to confirm all the federal judges and senior political appointees whose confirmations have come before the Senate would get a Republican within range of the 80% mark.

If he was truly voting his “conscience” as a “deeply religious man,” surely Romney must do the same where appointments to the federal judiciary are concerned, right? Yet, of the dozens of appointees to the courts that have been confirmed by the Senate since Romney showed up, his “conscience” has managed not to find a reason to oppose a single one of them.

But those were quiet votes, away from the glare of the lights that accompany the TV cameras. It seems Romney’s religion and “conscience” only manage to engage when they tell him that voting against the President will grab him hour upon hour of favorable coverage from all the corrupt media Democrat toadies who defamed him during his 2012 run and who hate his guts every other day of the year. That’s a special kind of religion and “conscience” Mendacious Mitt has going for him there.

A political party with any pride and backbone would expel Romney today. But we’re talking about the Republicans here.

That is all.

Democrat/Media Soleimani Narrative is an Epic Failure

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

It’s all so predictable and tiresome, but exactly what we should expect from these people. – The Democrats and their corrupt toadies in the nation’s fake news media are pushing a ridiculous narrative in the wake of President Trump’s order to take out Iranian Revolutionary Guard terrorist leader Qassem Soleimani with a drone strike at the Baghdad International Airport. It is a narrative that is doomed to become an epic fail.

The narrative basically goes like this: President Trump should have consulted congressional leaders in advance of taking any action. His failure to do so creates a constitutional crisis and may be a “war crime.” He also must provide a more specific, detailed public explanation for the reasons why he decided Soleimani had to be taken out, including the public revelation of the intelligence information relied upon. The detestable hack Chris Wallace is in fact pushing this very narrative on Fox News Sunday in his interview with Sec. State Mike Pompeo as this piece is being written.

All of which is just another steaming pile of smelly horse manure brought to you by your friends at the Democrat/media/Deep State Axis of Disinformation.

First, on the question of some presidential “obligation” to notify congressional leaders in advance of a drone strike on Islamic terrorists: That all went out the window when the Democrat Party’s leaders clearly began to demonstrate they have a higher loyalty to the terrorist than they do to our country. Let’s all remember this from May, 2018:

Remember? Former Obama Secretary of State John Kerry spent days in Paris meeting with Iranian leaders, advising them on ways to thwart President Trump and his official U.S. foreign policy. And Kerry is far from the only Democrat who has been engaged in this kind of subversive activity during the Trump Administration.

Image

President Trump, in this instance, actually had an obligation to U.S. national security NOT to inform any Democrat in advance of taking this action for the simple fact that he knows without any doubt that no Democrat in Washington can be trusted any longer with U.S. national security secrets. He knows that within 5 minutes of informing a Chuck Schumer or Nancy Pelosi of a pending action, that information would have appeared on CNN or at the New York Times or Washington Post websites.

Yes, presidents in the past – you know, back when Democrat leaders were actually loyal Americans – have traditionally tried to inform congressional leaders of both parties in advance of significant military actions, but there is simply no governing legal authority mandating that he do so. As we noted here a few days ago, Barack Obama his own self authorized hundreds, if not thousands, of drone strikes on terrorist targets during his eight years in office without notifying anyone in congress, and no Democrat ever expressed any concern about it.

For the very same reasons mentioned above, if President Trump’s action was a “war crime,” then what of Obama? What about George W. Bush and Bill Clinton? Sorry, Dems, that cat don’t flush.

Then there this contention about the President having some obligation to offer a more detailed explanation of the reasons behind the strike on Soleimani, including the somewhat stunning contention that he must release the highly-classified intelligence information he relied upon in making his decision. This from the same political party that still refuses to release the transcripts of all of its Soviet-style impeachment witness interrogations, mind you.

The Administration, through Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and the President himself, has already laid out its reasons for taking action in general terms. More specific, detailed information about Soleimani and his myriad terrorist actions over the past few decades can be found in the guest piece published here Sunday morning (Quassem Soleimani, the IRGC, and why the “General” had to die).

Obviously, the President has zero obligation to the Democrats or anyone else to publish highly-classified intelligence information that would without any doubt at all put U.S. or Israeli intelligence sources in severe danger (which may actually be the goal behind these Democrat requests). But Texas Congressman Dan Crenshaw, himself a veteran of several tours in the Middle East as a Navy Seal, may have handled it better than anyone in response to a tweet by the despicable Democrat clown Eric Swalwell:

Oof.

Note that Swalwell also demands that the President inform the public – and thus the Islamic terrorists who run Iran – in advance of his “concrete plan for dealing with its [turning Soleimani into a fine, pink mist] consequences.”

Yeah, that’s just stupid, dude. Not happening.

Bottom line: The Democrat/media/deep state Axis of Disinformation is pushing a stupid, shameful, epic failure of a narrative in the wake of a killing that any American with functioning synapses in their cranium will continue to celebrate.
