How Faulty Focus Leads to a Deadly Form of Projection

Guest Piece by Karen Kataline

DNC Member Suggests ‘Deprogramming’ 75 million Trump Supporters

Every camera phone these days has a feature that can flip the focus from “selfie” to the outside world for a more conventional shot. All of it done with a quick touch to our screen.

That’s as good a high tech explanation as any, of projection in the psychological sense.

Apart from deliberate projection, which is regularly used as a political tactic as per Saul Alinsky, there is the more classic and unconscious projection that happens among true believers of the same ilk.

Take a look at what happens when one of those believers is caught telling the truth about what he’d like to do to Trump voters:

DNC Member Suggests ‘Deprogramming’ 75 Million Trump Supporters

While David Atkins wonders how anyone could be a Trump supporter, many of us wonder how a Leftist who may have been initially attracted to feel good ideas like “tolerance” and “diversity”, could publicly advocate forceful “deprogramming” of 75 million of his fellow citizens (in refugee camps? concentration camps?) for the sin of disagreeing with him about a political candidate. How does that happen?

Here’s a little of how projection works: Most of us are capable of powerful emotions. We also have emotions about our powerful emotions, which complicates matters even further. This can terrify people, especially if they already have trouble distinguishing between thoughts, feelings and actions. How could I have such horrible, evil, hateful thoughts?  Does that make me evil too?

Among the variety of responses possible when emotions become too intense or painful for a person to tolerate, is a kind of flip of focus just like that camera. The subject disowns his uncomfortable or embarrassing feelings and quite unconsciously attributes them to others–often to the person or group on which he has already been so intensely focused.

It’s much easier to feel justified in advocating full-blown persecution of those he hates if he can view himself as a victim. To add insult to injury, this is all in the name of “tolerance.”

What happens when true victims of a paranoia-fueled vendetta are themselves called “paranoid?”  How do we know who to believe?  Kyle Rittenhouse in Kenosha and the McCluskeys in St. Louis know firsthand how the propaganda media works full time to confuse the public about which are the criminals and which are the law-abiding citizens.

The inability to distinguish or accept the origins of one’s rage are the building blocks of paranoia and persecution complexes.

A culture that positively values personal responsibility rather than collective guilt is infinitely healthier not just politically but psychologically.

Atkins goes on to project another charge against Trump supporters claiming they are in a “death cult against reality & basic decency.”

If ever there were an ideology that resembles a classic cult it is the Leftism, Socialism,  and Communism of today which now controls what used to be the Democrat Party.

In 2017, I outlined some of the more obvious comparisons in Twenty-One Reasons Why Liberalism is Like a Cult

Cults feed and grow off collectivism and group-think. That is why they must always demonize dissent, individuality and personal responsibility.

Remember when the Left lectured us (when do they not?) about “Hate!, Hate!, We have to root out hate!”  That should have been our first clue that they were getting ready to unleash an avalanche of hate upon us, and they did. The pattern is so often repeated that we can just about predict what they’ll do by watching what they accuse everyone else of next.

For his mental health and our safety, David Atkins and others like him need to flip their cameras to “selfie.”  That, or take a good, long look in the mirror.

Here’s Some of the Evidence the Trump Legal Team Will Use

Despite the Trump legal team’s declination to reveal its entire case to the corrupt news media, we know some of the hard evidence of massive Democrat voter fraud it has at its disposal, since much of it is already in the public domain. Here is some of what they have.

First of all, despite its’ current protestations of innocence, Smartmatic’s founder and CEO, Antonio Mugica, admitted in 2017 that its system had been used to create at least 1 million fraudulent votes for Venezuelan socialist strongman Nicolas Maduro:

This OANN segment does a good job of describing the amazing vulnerabilities inherent to the Dominion voting machine system:

Back in the old days – you know, before Trump came along – the leftwing news media was just as concerned about Dominion’s lack of security and incredibly suspicious origins as we are today:

Here’s how the system was used to shove through tens of thousands of votes for Biden in Michigan and Wisconsin in the wee hours of the morning of November 4:

Here’s the Wisconsin chart to which Hart refers in his first tweet:

Note that both dumps came shortly after the ballot-counting processes in Michigan and Wisconsin – and several other states – had been mysteriously paused for a couple of hours. You can be sure that, had that enormous tranche of votes been reversed, and handed the President Wisconsin’s electoral votes, every corrupt media outlet in America would be hyper-focused on it and alleging blatant fraud, which it clearly is.

Democrat vote “counters” in Pennsylvania and Georgia tried to be a little more subtle about their election theft, avoiding a huge single dump of Biden-only ballots in favor of repeatedly shoving through the same batches of smaller numbers across several days.

These spreadsheets compiled from New York Times data show how batches of Biden ballots numbering 6,000 (or multiples of 6,000) in Pennsylvania and 4,800 in Georgia were repeated “counted” through the Dominion machines in the days after Election Day:

This and much more is the kind of data Trump’s lawyers plan to present to the courts in various states as their cases move forward. It is in addition to all the witness testimony they have gathered, along with clear evidence of thousands of dead voters and ineligible voters somehow voting for Biden.

But wait, there’s more!:

– In Nevada, former state Attorney General Adam Laxalt says his team has identified at least 15,000 individuals who voted in that state and also voted in California or other states on November 3, a classic tactic deployed for years by the Harry Reid machine there.

– In Georgia you have multiple witnesses testifying to have seen boxes full of Biden-only ballots that appeared to have been machine-created.

– In Pennsylvania, 680,000 ballots were counted while GOP election observers were prohibited from doing their jobs by Democrat election officials.

– In Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, multiple U.S. Postal Service employees have signed affidavits in which they swear under penalty of perjury that they were instructed by superiors to back-date postmarks on ballots for Biden – a federal felony.

– In Milwaukee, Detroit, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Phoenix and Las Vegas, dozens of heavily-Democrat precincts in which the number of ballots supposedly cast vastly exceeded the number of registered voters living there.

But in the face of all of this evidence and much, much more, you are being brainwashed by the entirety of the corrupt national news media – the same media who spent the past 4 years pushing a fake Russia hoax, a fake impeachment hoax and so many other Democrat hoaxes – to believe that there is no such thing as voter fraud in America and that Biden, the guy who couldn’t draw flies to a butcher shop, won with 10 million more votes than Barack Hussein Obama received in 2008.

You shouldn’t believe that, for the simple reason that it is not believable.

Friday News Roundup: Giuliani and Powell Press Conference – Mission Accomplished

The media is very, very worried, and it shows. – Rudy Giuliani’s hair dye ran down his face as he sweated through yesterday’s Democrat election fraud press conference, and that’s all the corrupt news media wants to talk about related to that event. Which means that the corrupt news media is really, really concerned about the substance of what Giuliani, Sidney Powell, Jenna Ellis and the other attorneys who participated had to say.

Rudy Giuliani gives voting fraud 'evidence' at odd press conference | Daily Mail Online

This is Liberal Media Distraction 101: When you don’t want to report on the substance, find a distraction from it. It’s what they do.

But that’s ok, because the press conference achieved exactly what it was designed to achieve.

The strength of the presser yesterday is that it succeeded in creating a broader dissemination and awareness of the allegations of massive Democrat election fraud in several states among the general public. Achieving that, of course, was the main reason for conducting it, given that the lawyers knew going in that they would receive a 100% hostile reception from the Democrat-activist-pretend-journalists who showed up.

The media hates Giuliani for his fierce defense of President Trump against the Mueller thugs and the Democrat impeachment hoax, and for his forcing of the Hunter Biden laptop into the public domain. These actions are all cardinal sins in their eyes, given they all harmed the media’s Democrat Party benefactors.

Giuliani is thus Public Enemy #2 – second to the bad Orange Man in the White House, of course – in the media’s collective, myopic eyes, and anything he has to say is to be dismissed out of hand and ridiculed in the coarsest manner possible on CNN and MSNBC. Thus, Rudy dyes his hair – just as pretty much 100% of the preening media jackasses themselves do on a regular basis – and that is the object of ridicule, the means of distraction from the substance of what was discussed on Thursday.

The media also detests Sidney Powell, because she has spent the preponderance of the last two years defending a true American hero, General Mike Flynn, against the brutal abuse of the U.S. Department of Justice and the utterly corrupt federal judge in his case. This again is a cardinal sin in the media’s eyes, given that even Flynn’s original law firm was in on the fix against him, and the media thought they had him in the bag until Powell came along and spoiled the whole deal.

Even Tucker Carlson went off on Powell during his monologue last night, whining about the fact that she refuses to reveal her entire case to the producers of his Fox News show.

Here’s an excerpt:

On Sunday night, “Tucker Carlson Tonight” texted her after watching one of her segments. What Powell was describing would amount to the single greatest crime in American history. Millions of votes stolen in a day, democracy destroyed, the end of our centuries-old system of self-government. Not a small thing.

Now, to be perfectly clear, we did not dismiss any of it. We don’t dismiss anything anymore, particularly when it’s related to technology. We’ve talked to too many Silicon Valley whistleblowers and we’ve seen too much after four years on the air.  We literally do UFO segments, not because we’re crazy or even been interested in the subject, but because there is evidence that UFOs are real and everyone lies about it.

There’s evidence that a lot of things that responsible people dismiss out of hand as ridiculous are in fact real. The louder the Yale political science department and the staff of The Atlantic magazine scream “conspiracy theory,” the more interested we tend to be. That’s usually a sign you’re over the target. A lot of people with impressive-sounding credentials in this country are frauds. They have no idea what they’re doing. They’re children posing as authorities. And when they’re caught, they lie and then they blame you for it. We see that every day. It’s the central theme of our show and will continue to be.

So that’s a long way of saying we took Sidney Powell seriously with no intention of fighting with her. We’ve always respected her work, we simply wanted to see the details. How could you not want to see them? So we invited Sydney Powell on the show. We would have given her the whole hour. We would have given her the entire week, actually, and listened quietly the whole time at rapt attention.

But she never sent us any evidence, despite a lot of polite requests. When we kept pressing, she got angry and told us to stop contacting her. When we checked with others around the Trump campaign, people in positions of authority, they also told us Powell had never given them any evidence to prove anything she claimed today at the press conference.

Powell did say that electronic voting is dangerous, and she’s right, but she never demonstrated that a single actual vote was moved illegitimately by software from one candidate to another. Not one.

[End]

Understand that Sidney Powell and Rudy Giuliani are very smart and experienced lawyers. Giuliani is the former U.S. Attorney that brought down the New York City mob families, for crying out loud. Never during the long, highly-complex cases he took to court under the then-new RICO laws did he reveal all of his evidence to the defense during a press conference. That’s not something any intelligent lawyer does.

Sidney Powell spent 1o years as an assistant U.S. Attorney herself. During that time, she successfully prosecuted Texas mobster Jimmy Chagra, whose family commissioned the hit on Federal Judge John Wood by Charles Harrelson. For the last 25 years she has been an incredibly successful appellate lawyer practicing in the federal courts. Again, not once has she ever revealed her entire case to the other side during a press conference or on a Fox News talking head show.

Why? Because she, like Giuliani, knows what she’s doing. Carlson knows this: Thus, the motivation for his monologue last night is fairly mysterious, and should probably be viewed in the context of Fox’s overall rapid shift to the political left.

Yesterday’s press conference was pure legal theater, designed to accomplish exactly what it achieved: To make this subject the prevailing topic of conversation across all social media platforms, and to raise public awareness of the nature of the charges the team will be making in court.

Even with Rudy’s hair dye streaming down his cheeks, Mission Accomplished.

Now, the hard work of actually convincing judges must begin in earnest, and it better happen fast.

That is all.

Thursday News Roundup: Newsom Exposed and Cuomo Goes Completely off the Rails

Another big reversal in Wayne County, Michigan. – I discuss the latest reversal by the GOP members of the Wayne County Board of Canvassers elsewhere today. It’s potentially a big deal for a variety of reasons.

Hey, that’s totally believable. – A local TV station in Fulton County, Georgia reported yesterday that one precinct in Atlanta a reported turnout that was 3300% above the number of registered voters living there.

From our Department of Futile Gestures….

God Bless Jim Jordan, but even if San Fran Nan were inclined to worry about election integrity (she isn’t), she’d just put Pencil Neck Adam Schiff in charge of any such investigation so it could be falsified and buried. The House of Representatives has no productive role to play here.

Bring them all home, Mr. President. – Now that he has some loyal people installed at the Pentagon, President Trump is using what could become the final months of his presidency to bring America’s men and women back home from the senseless Middle East and North African wars his predecessors got them involved in over the past 32 years. After announcing such moves related to the 19 year war in Afghanistan and the 18 year war in Iraq, the President is now reportedly preparing to bring most of our people home from the festering hellhole that is Somalia.

From a report at Reuters:

President Donald Trump may withdraw nearly all U.S. troops from Somalia as part of a global pullback that includes reductions of forces in Afghanistan and Iraq, U.S. officials said on Tuesday.

The officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said nothing had been finalized and that no orders for Somalia have been received by the U.S. military. But there appeared to be a growing expectation that drawdown orders would be coming soon.

The Pentagon on Tuesday announced that Trump will reduce U.S. forces in Afghanistan from 4,500 to 2,500 by Jan. 15, just five days before his term ends, and cut U.S. forces in Iraq by 500 to the same level.

The United States has about 700 troops in Somalia focused on helping local forces defeat the al Qaeda-linked al Shabaab insurgency. The mission receives little attention in the United States but is considered a cornerstone of the Pentagon’s global efforts to combat al Qaeda.

Trump’s newly-installed acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller, a former Green Beret and counterterrorism official, is taking a hard look at Somalia and could opt for keeping a minimal presence there and stop relying on large deployments to combat al Shabaab.

[End]

If President Trump really wants to take this global, he should look at getting our remaining forces out of freaking Germany, where America has spent the last 75 years defending the country that started two World Wars from an “enemy” – the Soviet Union – that has not even existed for 30 long years now. Now, that would be a wonderful thing.

Cuomo goes completely off the rails. – Governor Andrew Cuomo held one of his Fidel Castro-like press events yesterday, ostensibly designed to provide the public with useful information and comfort about the draconian new shut-down restrictions he is imposing on them yet again.

Instead, the Central American dictator-in-training went completely off the rails, blaming his citizens for the problems with the China Virus, and haranguing one reporter who simply asked whether or not the state’s schools would be shut down.

Here are a couple of examples:

But Cuomo’s not the only despot-in-training. – Indeed, from New Jersey to Pennsylvania to Michigan to Nevada to California, the nation is filled to the gills with communist Democrat governors who are just itching for the chance to move to Honduras or Nicaragua and spend their lives issuing edicts depriving the masses of any human rights at all.

In California, Gavin Newsom continues to do his best imitation of Castro’s predecessor, the pompous and arrogant Fulgencio Batista, imposing dramatic restrictions on the masses while flaunting them in public. In the latest example of Newsom’s boundless hubris, he imposed new restrictions on the state’s restaurants and on Thanksgiving gatherings, then flew up to Napa for a ritzy, maskless, non-social distanced dinner at the fabulous French Laundry restaurant with a couple dozen of the state’s elite in celebration of some lobbyist’s birthday.

Photos show CA Gov Gavin Newsom without a mask at dinner | The Sacramento Bee

Astonishingly, two of the guests at the dinner were California Medical Assocation CEO Dustin Corcoran and CMA’s lobbyist Janus Norman.

You seriously could never make this stuff up in a million gazillion years, folks.

From a story at Politico:

California Medical Association officials were among the guests seated next to Gov. Gavin Newsom at a top California political operative’s opulent birthday dinner at the French Laundry restaurant this month.

CEO Dustin Corcoran and top CMA lobbyist Janus Norman both joined the dinner at the French Laundry, an elite Napa fine dining restaurant, to celebrate the 50th birthday of lobbyist and longtime Newsom adviser Jason Kinney, a representative of the powerful interest group confirmed Wednesday morning.

Both Norman and Corcoran are friends of Kinney, as is Newsom, who referred this week to his 20-year friendship with Kinney. In a photo obtained by Fox LA, Norman is clearly visible seated to Newsom’s left.

The presence of CMA brass could amplify criticisms of the dinner occurring despite coronavirus restrictions that have limited Californians’ movements and constrained businesses. While Newsom and Kinney’s lobbying firm have said the meal abided by public health rules, it has struck a chord with Californians who have assailed the upscale soiree as hypocritical as coronavirus cases surge.

The state has issued guidelines prohibiting more than three households from gathering privately — a limit clearly exceeded by the French Laundry dinner. However, the state has intentionally allowed restaurants to seat people from more than three households together.

[End]

Oh. I would feel sympathy for California’s masses, but hey, they voted for this jackass in overwhelming numbers. Or at least the state’s Democrat election officials told them they did.

Think about it.

Finally, if you think that mask is protecting you or anyone else, think again. – Check out the results of this massive Danish study on the efficacy of masks:

Raffensperger Seeks Shelter From CNN and the Washington Post

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is severely compromised and needs to be removed. Unfortunately, Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp also appears to be compromised, as we discussed over the weekend. Raffensperger entered into a probably-illegal consent decree with Stacy Abrams’ voter fraud subornation team last spring that he believes prevents the state from examining mail-in ballots for simple things like valid signatures and addresses. He appears to be desperate to keep that decree in force in order to ensure that Joe Biden “won” his state on November 3.

All of this compromise by Raffensperger led him yesterday to seek shelter with the corrupt news media, specifically with CNN and the Washington Post. In interviews with both fake news outlets, Raffensperger accused Sen. Lindsey Graham and other prominent Republicans of “pressuring” him to throw out ballots that he desperately wants to count.

From a story at the New York Times:

Brad Raffensperger, Georgia’s secretary of state, on Monday accused fellow Republicans of trying to undermine the legitimacy of the state’s election in an effort to swing the results to President Trump, who narrowly lost the state to President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr. and later demanded the hand recount.

Election officials in Georgia also announced Monday evening that they had discovered 2,600 ballots in Floyd County that had not been previously reported to the state, a notable but overall minor hiccup in what they otherwise described as a smooth recounting of the nearly five million ballots cast by Georgia voters during the presidential election.

The counting is expected to wrap up this week, and elections officials have reported few problems aside from the error in Floyd County, which is located in northwestern Georgia and voted heavily for Mr. Trump. Democrats said the recount had so far resulted in no substantive changes, at least none that would affect the lead currently enjoyed by Mr. Biden.

“The Floyd County situation was unfortunate,” said Gabriel Sterling, an official with the office of Georgia’s secretary of state. However, he added, “The majority of the counties right now are finding zero deviations from the original number of ballots.”

Mr. Raffensperger, in an interview with The Washington Post, said that Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina was among those Republicans seeking to challenge legally cast absentee ballots with the aim of helping Mr. Trump take the lead in a state in which he is losing by several thousand votes. According to Mr. Raffensperger, Mr. Graham asked about possible ways that ballots could be disqualified, including whether the secretary of state could reject all absentee ballots in counties that had a high number of signature mismatches on those ballots.

A spokesperson for Mr. Raffensperger declined to comment when reached Monday evening. Senator Graham, speaking to reporters on Capitol Hill on Monday, denied that he had suggested to Mr. Raffensperger that he find a way to throw out legally cast ballots.

“That’s ridiculous,” said Mr. Graham, who said that his conversation with Mr. Raffensperger covered questions about Georgia’s system of using signatures to verify the identity of voters who use absentee ballots. “I thought it was a good conversation,” Mr. Graham said. “I’m surprised to hear he characterized it that way.”

Mr. Raffensperger, a lifelong Republican, was stung last week when Georgia’s senators, Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue, both ardent Trump supporters, called for Mr. Raffensperger’s resignation, accusing him of mismanagement and calling the election he oversaw “an embarrassment.”

[End]

In past elections, the rejection rates for mail-in and absentee ballots due to lack of valid signatures and addresses was about 3% in Georgia. In this election, that rejection rate fell to just .02% thanks to Raffensperger’s convenient deal with the Democrats and their voter fraud efforts. The difference in those two percentages would far more than enough to deny Biden his illegitimate “win” in the state.

There can be no doubt that Graham and Georgia Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler, among others, have indeed questioned Raffensperger on why he has chosen to abandon the most fundamental methods of ensuring that ballots were cast legally in this election. Indeed, this was the very reason why the two Georgia Senators called for his resignation.

Raffensperger has no legitimate argument to support his collusion with the Democrats, which is why he has now resorted to seeking shelter with CNN and the Washington Post.

Someone really needs to take a very deep dive into Mr. Raffensperger’s background. His behavior is frankly inexplicable unless he is severely compromised where Dominion Systems and this election is concerned.

Georgia Orders Hand Recount – But There’s Bigger News Than That

The corrupt news media monolith of disinformation is simply reporting today that Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger ordered a “hand recount” of ballots in the presidential contest this morning. But watch this clip of his announcement with the sound on and listen carefully to what he actually says:

“With the margin being so close, it will require a full, by-hand recount in each county. This will help build confidence, it will be an audit, a recount, and a re-canvass all at once.”

That last part is crucial, because a simple recount would make no effort to ensure that ballots were properly and legally cast. It would simply segregate the paper ballots between the candidates by hand, and then feed them through the same tabulating machines and suspect software used in the first place.

An audit and re-canvass go much further. These will involve, for example, matching signatures on mail-in ballots to those on voter registration applications. They will involve ensuring that the person supposedly casting a vote was actually alive at the time it was cast, and actually lived in the state of Georgia.

This makes what was ordered in Georgia today completely different from the hand-recount already ordered in Michigan, since the Michigan process will not involve a re-canvass or full audit of the ballots. Thus, the order in Michigan is very unlikely to change the outcome in and of itself. But what was ordered in Georgia today is a very big deal.

Stay tuned.

Fracking Ban is Just One of Many Ways for Biden/Harris to Attack Oil and Gas

Assuming that the various challenges being filed by President Donald Trump this week to election results in several states fail and Democrat Joe Biden does become the next President of the United States, the potential impacts to the oil and gas industry in the U.S. would be numerous and severe. While only one significant oil and gas-related issue was raised to high prominence during the general election campaign – Biden’s promises to ban hydraulic fracturing at various times and levels – it is a mistake to assume that that would be the only way in which a Biden/Harris Administration would impact the industry.

The first tranche of impacts will come in the form of executive orders. Like the Obama/Biden presidency before him, a great deal of President Trump’s energy-related policy has been enacted via executive orders. The obvious vulnerability of any executive order is that it usually can be easily reversed by a successor in office. Thus, the most immediate impacts of a Biden presidency will come in the form of efforts to increase regulation on the energy industry via the reversal of various Trump executive actions. Biden and Harris repeatedly promised to take these actions throughout their campaign, so we should expect a quick follow through on what amounts to low-hanging fruit.

Those likely executive order reversals include:

·        Re-entry of the United States into the Paris Climate Accords

·        Re-entry of the United States into the Obama-era Iran deal, which would free up Iran to dramatically increase its exports and potentially impact crude prices;

·        Trump’s order to end the Council on Environmental Quality’s guidance that all federal permitting decisions and NEPA reviews must consider climate change impacts;

·        Trump’s order to disband the Interagency Working Group on Social Cost of Greenhouse Gases;

·        Trump’s various orders designed to eliminate delays in federal permitting processes.

We can also expect a Biden presidency to follow through on his promises to ban hydraulic fracturing on federal lands and waters, which represent a very sizable percentage of overall U.S. oil and gas production. This can be accomplished by an order from either a President Biden or from his future Secretary of the Interior, although we should also expect Interior to follow up and attempt to frame it in the form of regulations in order to make it more of a permanent change.

It is also important to remember that Sen. Kamala Harris promised to eliminate hydraulic fracturing entirely in the U.S. repeatedly during her own presidential effort in 2019, and never really backed off of that promise during the general election campaign as Biden’s running mate. On the few occasions when she was asked about it, she was always very careful to say that “Joe Biden will not ban fracking,” and no more than that.

Friday News Roundup: America is a True Banana Republic

Divided government is good for the stock market. – That is the signal the markets have been sending all week, as they have rocketed up mainly on the assumption that the GOP had retained a significant, 53-seat majority in the U.S. Senate. The Dow Jones has gained almost 1500 points this week, and happy days were here again.

But this morning, some new reality is setting in, and the markets are responding to it. Michigan Republican John James saw his clear legitimate victory overturned by the Democrats’ Detroit voter fraud machine on Wednesday, and suddenly that GOP majority was looking more precarious at just 52 seats. Then, Georgia’s David Perdue saw his clear win there turned into a runoff opportunity by the Democrats’ Atlanta voter fraud machine, and suddenly that GOP majority had become potentially no majority at all, given that Kelly Loeffler also faces a runoff election in Georgia.

It is no wonder, then, that the Dow this morning is stumbling, with futures showing a down opening of over 200 points.

The stock market loves a divided federal balance of power, because that mitigates against the kind of radical change the Democrats wish to enact. Now that that division stands in serious jeopardy, we can expect the markets to founder.

Just a reminder… – But hey, it’s not as if Joe Biden didn’t tell us outright what was going to happen:

“We have put together the most extensive and inclusive VOTER FRAUD organization in the history of American politics.”

To use Biden’s own language: Well, son of a bitch, he sure did.

America is officially a banana republic. – I joked about this a lot during the Obama years, given Obama’s very real fealty to and similarity with Central/South American socialist thugs like Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro.

We need to all understand that what is happening in Philadelphia, Milwaukee, Atlanta and Detroit, with Democrat officials refusing to allow GOP election observers access to the vote-counting process really, truly does take our country into true third-world banana republic status. America sends election observers into third-world countries all the time to help try to ensure a true democratic process takes place, and anywhere their access is denied, that country’s government becomes subject to U.S. sanctions and condemnation in world forums like the United Nations.

But here we are in by-God America, dealing with multiple situations in which Democrat thugs refuse to allow bipartisan election observers. That is tragically un-American, a despicable ant-democratic act that demands intervention from the federal Department of Justice and state law enforcement.

And yet, no one at either level of law enforcement lifts a finger to enforce and defend the most fundamental foundational building block of the American Republic. This is the kind of stuff that has turned Venezuela into a literal hell on earth, the kind of brutishness that rendered Cuba a prison state for the last 60 years, the kind of lawlessness that makes traveling into the once-beautiful country of Mexico a life-risking endeavor now.

If this outright theft of the U.S. presidency is allowed to stand without the DOJ or anyone else in law enforcement lifting a finger to do their jobs, then America will have no legitimate argument against the claim that it is now officially just another banana republic. That is a tragedy that is in fact bipartisan in its cause and nature.

Still don’t believe the fraud is real? – Here you go:

How about this:

Or this:

Do you understand the reason why these vote “counting” efforts in these Democrat voter fraud cities like Atlanta, Philly, Milwaukee, Detroit, Las Vegas and Phoenix had to be extended for days? The reason is simple: It takes a lot of time to fill out these ballots and then process them, and the “counters” had to first know how many fraudulent ballots they needed to create before starting the ballot-creating process. That is why we witnessed the two-hour pause in counting across PA, MI, and WI at about 2:00 a.m. Wednesday morning – they were jointly assessing the number of manufactured ballots they would need to steal the election.

Think about it: Florida managed to count more than 12 million ballots overnight Tuesday and report final results. Texas managed to do the same with even more ballots than that. Most other states – run by Republicans and Democrats alike – managed to do the same.

The one and only reason why these fraud states/cities are different is the massive fraud operation itself. If Illinois had been remotely close, we would have seen the same pause taking place there. Even though everyone knows at this point that there is nothing legitimate about what they are doing, they still must create the paper trail to prop up the pretense of legitimacy, and that takes a lot of time. And the one and only hope for reversing this massive fraud is for the courts to order a full forensic examination of each and every ballot, including the matching of signatures to voter registration documents and ensuring the alleged voter was in fact among the living when his or her “vote” was cast.

Getting that done is going to require William Barr and the DOJ to aggressively intervene in the process in order to create the body of evidence necessary to convince the courts. Thus far, Barr has been utterly and completely worthless, at least publicly. We can hope that he may be making preparations behind the scenes, but his record is not encouraging in that regard.

America is a true banana republic, and much of the blame for that must fall at Barr’s feet. But at the end of the day, it’s really the result of the national Democrat Party achieving its main goal of the last half-century.

That is all.

Wednesday News Roundup: The Presidential Election Seems Destined for the Courts

As the day dawns on November 4, America faces a temporarily hung jury on its presidential race, although how long it will remain hung is anyone’s guess. As of this writing early in the morning on November 4, President Trump clings to narrow leads in the states of Georgia, North Carolina and Michigan, and a much larger lead in Pennsylvania. The trouble is that, unless Arizona, where Joe Biden leads, turns around, the President would need to hang on in all four of those other states in order to gain the 270 electoral votes necessary to win a second term.

There was no Blue Wave forecast by all the media-financed pollsters in this election, nor was there the Red Wave that yours truly and others foolishly projected yesterday. What there was instead was a vast sea of still waters, barely changed from 2016, but, thanks to a tsunami of mail-in ballots of questionable provenance, shifted just enough to perhaps get the Democrat Party’s clearly-addled nominee over the finish line at the end of the day, possibly this day.

The President promised to challenge the vote counting processes in some of these states in a speech given in the wee hours of the morning, but the chances of that effort having any success does not appear to be strong. As the ballots continue to roll in from Democrat-controlled cities like Atlanta and Detroit and Philadelphia, it’s hard not to assume that some significant voter fraud is taking place in Biden’s favor. Whether the President’s team could reverse any outcomes by actually proving that such fraud was massive enough to make the difference in, say, Michigan and Georgia, which both appear destined to ultimately turn to Biden’s advantage seems unlikely given the ineptitude of such efforts from the past.

In other news from last night, Fox News again beclowned itself with election coverage that ranged from the ridiculous to the sublime. The trending-blue channel’s system of calling states was in fact so outrageously nonsensical that one of its own prime time anchors, Tucker Carlson, actually kind of called it out during a monologue about how awful the media was in general:

As per usual, Fox appeared to be more interested in giving all of its paid contributors specific amounts of contractually-required airtime than it was in actually covering the news of the election. Thus, viewers were forced to sit through endless droning and rants from the likes of Chris Wallace, Juan Williams and Donna Brazile while Fox lagged 30 minutes behind CNN and the networks in reporting actual election results.

CNN, meanwhile, ran circles around Fox, with John King and Wolf Blitzer providing near-constant up-to-the-minute coverage of the actual results to its viewers. Yes, Fake Jake Tapper was his normal insufferable self, but all in all, Election Night remains the only night in any year in which it is acceptable to tune your TV to CNN.

As  I was compiling this piece, the vote in Michigan narrowed to just a 2,000 vote Trump edge:

Trump (R): 49.2% (2,345,412 votes) Biden (D): 49.2% (2,343,266 votes)

A 2,166 vote lead with tens of thousands of absentee votes to be counted. Some of those AVs still outstanding are from Trump-leaning areas, but probably not enough. Michigan could end up becoming 2020’s version of Florida 2000, with weeks of recounts and litigation lying ahead.

Note: That Trump edge rose back up to about 21,000 a few minutes later. Who knows? Maybe there’s still hope.

It looks like President Trump will be able to hang on in North Carolina and Pennsylvania, but Georgia also could be destined to remain up in the air for days if not weeks to come.

Ohio, meanwhile, went bright red again, with the President prevailing by a whopping 8% of the vote in a state that for almost half a century was the true bellwether in presidential contests. WSJ columnist Kimberly Strassel points out just how comically wrong some of the media’s favorite pollsters were about that state:

That’s right: Quinnipiac, one of Nate Silver’s gold star polling groups, missed Michigan by 13 point. She could have ridiculed several other polling groups given that, of the 10 most recent polls of Ohio, only Trafalgar showed Trump with a lead there.

Florida also went much brighter red than it has been in decades, with Trump rolling to a fairly easy 3.5% edge in the Sunshine State. Strassel also pointed to the futility of most pollsters there:

Quinnipiac only missed Florida by 9. Holy crap.

But wait, there’s more. How many polls did we see in recent weeks showing GOP senate incumbents Lindsey Graham, John Cornyn, Roger Marshall and even Mitch McConnell in deep trouble? Hint: the correct answer is TONS of polls.

Guy Benson pointed out the absurdity of those polls early this morning:

That’s right: Lindsey Graham prevailed by double digits despite his opponent getting about $130 million in Hollywood and New York money for his race. John Cornyn fought off about $40 million of out of state money coming into his goofy opponent to win by 10 in Texas.

Back to the presidential contest: Stay tuned. We may end up seeing litigation and recounts all the way to January. We are truly in perilous times.

That is all.
