Friday News Roundup: Justice Barrett Renders John Roberts Irrelevant as Sidney Powell Unleashes the Kraken

The Amy Coney Barrett confirmation is already yielding dividends. – In yet another decision in which compromised Chief Justice John Roberts sided with the three communists in the court, Justice Amy Coney Barrett provided the winning margin in a decision that tosses out some of Andrew Cuomo’s draconian attacks in religious freedoms in the state of New York.

Justice Barrett also was able to author the majority, 5-4 decision that rolls back Cuomo’s absurd restrictions that limits church attendance to as few as 10 people in certain parts of the state.

From a story at Daily Wire:

In a 5-4 ruling late Wednesday night, the Supreme Court backed a religious challenge to Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s restrictions limiting attendance at religious services. The majority ruling blocks enforcement of the restrictions while the applicants pursue appellate review. The ruling highlights the lack of evidence that the applicants — the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyntwo Jewish synagogues, and an Orthodox Jewish organization — have contributed to the spread of the virus and questions the rationale of the specifics of Cuomo’s restrictions, which limited services to just 10 and 25 occupants for red and orange zones, respectively.

“Not only is there no evidence that the applicants have contributed to the spread of COVID–19 but there are many other less restrictive rules that could be adopted to minimize the risk to those attending religious services,” the decision reads. “Among other things, the maximum attendance at a religious service could be tied to the size of the church or synagogue. Almost all of the 26 Diocese churches immediately affected by the Executive Order can seat at least 500 people, about 14 can accommodate at least 700, and 2 can seat over 1,000. Similarly, Agudath Israel of Kew Garden Hills can seat up to 400. It is hard to believe that admitting more than 10 people to a 1,000–seat church or 400–seat synagogue would create a more serious health risk than the many other activities that the State allows.”

“Members of this Court are not public health experts, and we should respect the judgment of those with special expertise and responsibility in this area,” the ruling asserts. “But even in a pandemic, the Constitution cannot be put away and forgotten. The restrictions at issue here, by effectively barring many from attending religious services, strike at the very heart of the First Amendment’s guarantee of religious liberty. Before allowing this to occur, we have a duty to conduct a serious examination of the need for such a drastic measure.”

“The applicants have made the showing needed to obtain relief, and there is no reason why they should bear the risk of suffering further irreparable harm in the event of another reclassification,” the ruling concludes. “For these reasons, we hold that enforcement of the Governor’s severe restrictions on the applicants’ religious services must be enjoined.”

[End]

Glorious. God Bless Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell and the majority in the U.S. Senate for confirming this good woman to the Court in the face of so much media news-fakery and hostility. Once again, we see perhaps the lone good reason to continue voting for RINOs over their communist Democrat opponents. This is one of the few places it still truly matters.

The Kraken is released! – Sidney Powell released her Kraken on Wednesday evening – a lawsuit detailing allegations of massive election fraud in Georgia and Michigan – and the book burners at Twitter immediately blocked any tweets linking to the lawsuit’s text.

So, just for fun, here’s a link to the text of the complaint.

Many idiots in the media slammed Powell for not including her “evidence” supporting the claims made in the complaint, demonstrating conclusively that they have no clue about the difference between a complaint, which lays out allegations of harm, and a trial, where evidences supporting the veracity of the allegations is actually rolled out by plaintiffs. But hey, this is just par for the course for our corrupt national news media.

Here’s an excerpt from a story at Breitbart:

Attorney Sidney Powell filed lawsuits Wednesday challenging the results of the presidential vote in Georgia and Michigan, alleging “ballot stuffing,” which she alleges was “amplified and rendered virtually invisible by computer software created and run by domestic and foreign actors.”

Powell made similar claims last week at a press conference with President Donald Trump’s legal team. She was attacked by critics who claimed that she could not prove what she alleged. The legal team distanced themselves from her on Sunday, saying that her claims had gone beyond the evidence they had seen or could prove in court.

Powell — who also defended Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, pardoned by President Trump on Wednesday — accepted the decision but pressed ahead regardless.

She alleges in Georgia:

Mathematical and statistical anomalies rising to the level of impossibilities, as shown by affidavits of multiple witnesses, documentation, and expert testimony evince this scheme across the state of Georgia. Especially egregious conduct arose in Forsyth, Paulding, Cherokee, Hall, and Barrow County. This scheme and artifice to defraud affected tens of thousands of votes in Georgia alone and “rigged” the election in Georgia for Joe Biden.

Powell makes similar allegations in Michigan, noting an “especially egregious range of conduct in Wayne County and the City of Detroit, though this conduct occurred throughout the State at the direction of Michigan state election officials.”

Powell traces the fraud to “software and hardware from Dominion Voting Systems Corporation,” which she said derives from software created by “Smartmatic Corporation, which became Sequoia in the United States.”

She goes on to allege, in both the Georgia and the Michigan complaints, “Smartmatic and Dominion were founded by foreign oligarchs and dictators to ensure computerized ballot-stuffing and vote manipulation to whatever level was needed to make certain Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez never lost another election.”

[End]

So, a lot of the same stuff Powell has been alleging for a couple of weeks now, but this time in formal court filing that will ultimately lead to her having to present her evidence soon enough. She will certainly have plenty to present and talk about given that the lawsuit contains 30 separate allegations of fraud in Georgia alone.

Cool.

This should be epic. – Adding to the Georgia fun, President Trump told the assembled communist Democrat activists who call themselves the White House Press Corps that he will be holding a rally in that state on December 5:

As the Fox News chyron indicates, the President made that announcement as he criticized RINO Georgia Sec. of State Brad Raffensperger, who continues to to oppose the conduct of a real audit of the ballots allegedly cast by legal and living people in Fulton County. So odd that he would be so virulently against such a standard and innocuous election security procedure, isn’t it?

You can bet Raffensperger is all lawyered-up and anxiously waiting to see what Powell’s evidence is going to reveal about his own actions related to the November 3 election.

This is a long, long way from over, folks.

That is all.

Amy Coney Barrett’s Confirmation Finally Gives America a Reliable Constitutionalist Majority

It all went exactly according to plan. The senators all got their allotted time to pontificate and whine on the Senate floor; Mitch McConnell was able to sum everything up, excoriating the Democrats for their pathetic petulance and rank hypocrisy; 52 Republican senators did the right thing and voted to confirm the new Supreme Court Justice; 47 Democrats were joined by despicable RINO Susan Collins in voting against her; and finally, exactly one month to the day after she was nominated and eight days before Election Day 2020, Amy Coney Barrett was sworn in as the 115th associate justice to the U.S. Supreme Court by fellow Justice Clarence Thomas.

Happy Birthday, Hillary Clinton!

Image may contain: 2 people, people standing

You might assume I’m being facetious with that last comment, but if you don’t think President Trump insisted on swearing ACB in late last night instead of waiting to do it at a more reasonable hour today, you don’t understand Donald Trump. He fully understood the wonderful confluence of events he helped to create here.

Thus, a new day in America dawns with a reliable 5-4 constitutionalist majority on the Supreme Court that would be 6-3 were Chief Justice John Roberts not so obviously compromised and siding more and more frequently with the Court’s three remaining leftist activists.

But hey, 5-4 is all we need to secure the liberties guaranteed us under the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Our new Justice will be on the job today, probably showing up for work as I write this piece, and will have the ability to weigh in on every case the Court sees from here on out. Given what we know will be a massive effort by the Democrats to steal this election during the days and weeks after November 3, the presence of a 5th firmly constitutionalist justice is quite reassuring.

Regardless of how this election turns out – and signs continue to be that it will turn out well for President Trump – America is now blessed with the fact that Donald John Trump has appointed fully 1/3rd of the current Supreme Court roster and stands to very likely appoint at least two more during his second term. No president in American history has kept his promises in the way this President has done, and his promise to appoint strict constructionist conservative judges is chief among them.

In addition to his three sterling appointments to the Supreme Court, President Trump has now appointed and had confirmed a whopping 162 federal district court judges and 53 to the various U.S. courts of appeals. Even better, he currently has 53 nominees before the Senate, and 2 additional court of appeals openings left to fill before the end of the year.

What he and Mitch McConnell have achieved – together with Chuck Grassley and Lindsey Graham, who have chaired the Senate Judiciary Committee over the past four years – has been truly epic, a focus on filling vacant judgeships that is unprecedented in its successful execution. It is a legacy that will endure for decades. It is a stunning, consequential achievement.

We are seeing its fruits in the lead up to this election, with decision after decision by the federal courts to deny depraved Democrats in their crass efforts to extend vote-counting by days and weeks in various states so that their operatives can invent enough fraudulent votes to steal the presidency. Again yesterday, the Supreme Court denied an attempt by Democrats in Wisconsin to be able to “count” mail-in ballots that are postmarked up to 6 days after Election Day, an obvious attempt to engage in massive voter fraud.

In these decisions and so many others we see just how crucial Trump’s win in 2016 over the Pantsuit Princess truly was for our nation. Elections have consequences and no presidential election in our history has been more consequential than the last one.

Well, except maybe for this current one, that is. If we wish to preserve all of the incredible array of Trump accomplishments in office, he simply must win a second term in office given that Biden/Harris Harris/Biden have promised to move the clock back to 2016 in so many ways.

Which brings us right back to how important it was to get Amy Coney Barrett ensconced and working on the Supreme Court this week, where she can join four other reliable constitutionalist justices serving as a bulwark against the most extreme excesses of this communist Democrat Party and the ongoing betrayals by Chief Justice Roberts.

God Bless Donald Trump for her nomination and the 52 members of the U.S. Senate for confirming her.

That is all.

Sunday News Roundup: Voter Fraud is Right at the Top of Joe Biden’s Addled Mind

On Saturday, President Donald Trump held rallies before massive audiences in the states of Florida, North Carolina, Ohio and Wisconsin, speaking to more than 60,000 Americans in the process. It was his busiest day thus far during the general election campaign, and if anything this amazing man appeared to display more energy during his final stop in Wisconsin than at any of the earlier events. He literally appears to somehow feed off of the energy of these huge crowds.

On the same day, Joe Biden held a rally before maybe 100 parked cars in Pennsylvania, at one point referring to Pennsylvanians who support President Trump as a bunch of “chumps,” thus spawning the soon-to-be-trending Twitter hashtag, “#ChumpsforTrump”. Hilarious.

After gratuitously insulting half the population of this election’s key state, Biden spent the remainder of his time yelling at the kids to get off his lawn, and then wandered aimlessly around the stage looking for his tapioca pudding while his wife Jill rambled on about pretty much nothing:

Next, obviously exhausted from his grueling one-rally schedule, Biden returned to his basement and, before being hooked back up to his handy IV, bragged to a call to big donors that “We have put together…the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics”.

No, I’m not kidding. Take a look:

Hey, look, at least he’s honest, right? His elder-abusing handlers shrugged it away as just another slip of the famous Biden tongue, but in reality it just shows what is at the top of the dementia-riddled brain. As he and his handlers come increasingly to the realization that their coordinated plan with the corrupt national news media to suppress Trump turnout with an unending series of fake polls showing Biden with huge leads is not bearing its intended fruit, the importance of that “extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization” in key swing states becomes elevated.

So, of course that is what was right at the top of his creepy old mind.

In other news, disgusting, formerly-funny person Chelsea Handler proved yet again that the Hollywood elite is chock full of white racist leftists, explaining her recent Twitter-shaming of rapper 50 Cent by telling a head-nodding Jimmy fallon that “I had to remind him that he is a black person” after the rapper had announced he would be voting for President Trump.

From a story at Fox News:

Chelsea Handler offered an explanation as to why she publicly scolded her ex-boyfriend 50 Cent for supporting President Trump during her Friday night appearance on “The Tonight Show.”

The comedian had been feuding with 50 Cent — born Curtis James Jackson III — since Monday when he shared an image from a news broadcast on Instagram that depicted the rates at which certain places would be taxed under Joe Biden’s plan. The broadcast highlighted New York state (58%) and New York City (62%).

“WHAT THE F–K! (VOTE ForTRUMP) IM OUT,” wrote Jackson in the caption. “F–K NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway. I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people 62% are you out of ya f–king mind.”

Handler insisted the 62 percent tax hike “isn’t a plan” under Joe Biden, calling it a “lie” during her interview with “Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon.

50 CENT DOUBLES DOWN ON OPPOSITION TO JOE BIDEN’S TAX PLAN: ‘I DON’T WANT TO BE 20CENT’

“So he doesn’t want to pay 62 percent in taxes because he doesn’t want to go from ’50 Cent’ to ’20 Cent’ and I had to remind him that he was a Black person, so he can’t vote for Donald Trump and that he shouldn’t be influencing an entire swath of people who may listen to him because he’s worried about his own personal pocketbook,“ Handler said.

[End]

Again, Hollywood is filled to the gills with white racist leftists like Ms. Handler, which is – other than all the rampant pedophilia that dominates the film industry – pretty much all we need to know about Hollywood.

In other disgusting woman-related news… – Alaska RINO Senator Lisa Murkowski obviously had a come to Jesus meeting on Saturday. No, the meeting was not actually with the real Jesus, but with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who obviously informed her that if she wanted to preserve her political career – and her seat as Chairman of the Senate Energy Committee – she might want to get in line on the Amy Coney Barrett nomination to the Supreme Court.

Thus it was that Sen. Murkowski announced late Saturday that, hey, after further consideration, she will be voting for Judge Barrett after weeks of making noise about betraying her party one more time:

Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) said on Saturday that she will vote to confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court on Monday, despite objections to taking up the nomination before the Nov. 3 election.

“I have no doubt about her intellect. I have no doubt about Judge Barrett’s judicial temperament. I have no doubt about her capability to do the job. … I have concluded that she is the sort of person we want on the Supreme Court,” Murkowski said from the Senate floor.

Murkowski, the only GOP senator to oppose then-nominee Brett Kavanaugh in 2018, was one of the last senators whose vote was in doubt.

[End]

Cocaine Mitch has obviously had his fill of Lisa Murkowski’s self-serving antics.

Judge Barrett will be confirmed by the full senate on Monday and no-doubt sworn into office later this week.

God Bless America.

That is all.

Friday News Roundup: Pelosi Toadies for Iran and the Media Toadying for Biden is Nothing New

Here is the genius of President Donald Trump and his administration: They now have the Democrats sticking up for Iran. – No kidding, take a look at what San Fran Nan had to say yesterday in response to the joint press conference by DNI John Ratcliffe and worthless FBI Director Christopher Wray that both Iran and Russia are trying to interfere in this election:

“Iran is a bad actor, but in no way equivalent [to Russia].”

How pathetically un-American is that? But that is where the Democrats feel they need to go in order to keep pushing their “Russia Russia Russia” attack narrative against the President of the United States.

Genius.

And speaking of pathetic Democrats… – In case you missed it due to the media blackout, the Senate Judiciary Committee approved the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett yesterday in a vote that was both along party lines and unanimous. That’s because the petulant Democrat members of the committee all boycotted the committee meeting.

It just don’t get any more pathetic than that, folks.

And now, a bit of wonderful trivia from our “HO-LEE-CRAP” file… – Rasmussen reports tweets out the fact that Black voters’ approval of President Trump rose to…wait for it… 46%[!!!!] in its latest daily survey:

My goodness. Obviously, job approval doesn’t necessarily translate into outright votes, but if the President’s share of the Black vote amounts to 1/3rd of that in this election, it will produce an unprecedented Red Wave election on November 3.

Hey, maybe this has something to do with it. – The Washington Examiner reports this morning that the rate of imprisonment for the Black community under Donald Trump’s presidency is the lowest it has been in 31 years. Equally as compelling, the rate of Hispanic incarceration is down by 24%.

Here’s an excerpt from that story:

America’s imprisonment rate has dropped to its lowest level since 1995, led by a dive in the percentage of blacks and Hispanics sent to jail during the Trump administration, according to a new Justice tally.

For minorities, the focus of President Trump’s First Step Act prison and criminal reform plan, the rate is the lowest in years.

For blacks, the imprisonment rate in state and federal prisons is the lowest in 31 years and for Hispanics it is down 24%.

“Across the decade from 2009 to 2019, the imprisonment rate fell 29% among black residents, 24% among Hispanic residents and 12% among white residents. In 2019, the imprisonment rate of black residents was the lowest it has been in 30 years, since 1989,” said the report.

Screen Shot 2020-10-23 at 8.10.45 AM.png

Bureau of Justice Statistics

Explaining the rate, Justice said, “At year-end 2019, there were 1,096 sentenced black prisoners per 100,000 black residents, 525 sentenced Hispanic prisoners per 100,000 Hispanic residents and 214 sentenced white prisoners per 100,000 white residents in the U.S. Among sentenced state prisoners at year-end 2018 (the most recent data available), a larger percentage of black (62%) and Hispanic (62%) prisoners than white prisoners (48%) were serving time for a violent offense.”

[End]

Oh. That’s some news you will never, never, ever see reported on CNN or MSNBC.

What if you give a press conference and the “press” refuses to show? – Former Hunter Biden/Joe Biden “business” partner Tony Bobulinski found out the hard way when he held a presser right before last night’s debate. Very predictably, almost nobody other than OANN and Fox News showed up.

Here is Ted Cruz excoriating the corrupt news media for its latest bit of malfeasance:

“It’s part of a pattern that we saw last week when the New York Post broke this story, and Big Tech – Twitter and Facebook – censored it, and essentially determined that the American people could not even hear the facts. I think the degree to which the media and Big Tech are shilling for Joe Biden, are protecting him, are covering him up and not even asking these questions, I think it’s really shameful.”

Yep, it really is, Senator.

But, while this current episode of the media shilling for the Democrats seems fresh and new to us in real-time, we should all remember that this really is not new behavior by our corrupt, worthless national news media. They’ve been doing this stuff for Democrats forever.

Go back to October 1919, and Woodrow Wilson’s stroke that left him incapacitated. Wilson’s wife essentially ran the government from then all the way through early 1921, and the pubic didn’t find out the truth for decades. Same with Franklin Roosevelt and his wheelchair. The media covered up that disability for decades. Same with John F. Kennedy’s massive drug abuse and affairs with the girlfriends of mob bosses and Russian spies, not to mention Marilyn Monroe. We didn’t find out about any of that stuff until 20-30 years later.

Remember how the Washington Post and Newsweek sat on the Bill Clinton/Monica Lewinsky story for months, and would have buried it altogether were it not for the fact that Matt Drudge decided to run with it on his then-fledgling website. And let’s not forget the solid wall of Omerta the media put up on behalf of the utterly despicable John Edwards and his fathering of an illegitimate child during the early phase 2008 presidential campaign.

This has been going on forever, folks. Our national news media has been rank, smelly, lying garbage for decades. It just seems new now because the fresh layer of rank, smelly garbage consisting of Twitter and Facebook has been layered over the top of it.

Look who thought President Trump won the debate last night:

Megyn Kelly is right: Trump won the debate handily. I explain my reasoning fully in another piece this morning. Go read it. Now.

Mazie Hirono May Have Tipped the Coming Democrat Smear of Amy Coney Barrett

This is a serious question: How many Democrat members of the Senate Judiciary Committee have an IQ that is lower than the thermostat setting in the Senate hearing room? You can start with Mazie Hirono and Sheldon Whitehouse and go from there.

During yesterday’s hearing, you really could not help but wonder if Chuck Schumer simply arrayed his Democrat caucus members from lowest IQ to highest and then selected the 9 at the bottom of the list to sit on this key committee. I know from experience that members of congress are not especially intelligent as a class (though they are incredibly cunning as a class), but what the Democrats put on display on Wednesday was truly an embarrassment to the Senate as an institution.

Sheldon Whitehouse spent his entire 30 minutes of time going through a bizarre conspiracy theory about how “dark money” from the Koch Brothers somehow led directly to Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s nomination. It was a true tour de force in mindless stupidity.

Kamala Harris used almost all of her time to make a campaign speech read from notes prepared by her staff. Because of course she did. Cory Booker went through a series of questions so irrelevant and transparently leading that had Barrett using her “mom patiently dealing with an irrational child” face and voice out of pity.

Geriatric senators Dianne Feinstein and Patrick Leahy and Richard Blumenthal each supplied 30-minute commercials for the pressing need for congressional term limits, and Amy Klobuchar looked like she needed a binder to throw at a staffer every time Judge Barrett embarrassed her with a calm and perfectly reasoned answer to her idiotic inquiries.

Then there was Crazy Mazie Hirono, the junior senator from Hawaii. This execrable, malignant wretch showed up to the hearing with a list of questions that her staff had written for her and that she had obviously not even bothered to read prior to the hearing beginning. Several of the questions referenced cases and decisions Judge Amy Coney Barrett had made in the past, and it was painfully obvious Hirono had no clue what any of them were.

But the moment everyone should view and keep in the back of our minds from Hirono’s 30 minutes was this one:

“[S]ince you became a legal adult, have you ever made unwanted requests for sexual favors or committed any verbal or physical harassment or assault of a sexual nature?” A seemingly random question, designed to be explosive and cause damage to Judge Barrett’s reputation simply by being asked and then endlessly repeated across Twitter and other social media. At least, that is how it is being covered by the news media.

But those who have witnessed how the Democrats inevitably try to mount a heinous smear against any Republican Supreme Court nominee might have reacted by filing this moment away as a clue to what the nature of their coming smear of Judge Barrett might look like. Everyone should remember that Brett Kavanaugh was asked a series of loaded questions about his behavior in his youth during his committee hearings as well, but the actual smear job by Christine Blasey Ford was only brought to the public’s attention during the weekend after the hearing had concluded, and he seemed to be on a smooth path to confirmation.

The smearing of Clarence Thomas also followed a similar pattern and timeline.

Can anyone doubt that the same Democrats who paid Ford and several other women to hurl slanderous allegations at Justice Kavanaugh would dig up acquaintances and former co-workers of Judge Barrett to claim she had at some distant point in the past made improper sexual advances towards them? Of course they would do exactly that.

When these completely unnecessary and counterproductive hearings come to a merciful conclusion on Thursday, Judge Barrett and her unassailable character and record will appear to be on a smooth path to confirmation. The Democrats will have failed to lay a glove on her and Mitch McConnell will have either 51 or 52 votes to get the job done.

But then the weekend will come and America will find out then if these depraved and despicable Democrats are willing to mount the same sort of smear on a supremely qualified woman that they mounted against Justice Kavanaugh. If they are, it’s a pretty safe bet that we will be able to look back and see that Crazy Mazie was setting the table for it.

Get ready.

Cancel the Amy Coney Barrett Hearings, Now

Just one more reason why these hearings should not be held. – Well, two reasons, actually, that the Democrats in the Senate provided to Mitch McConnell and Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham on Monday. Two glaring reasons why the Judiciary Committee hearings on the Amy Coney Barrett nomination should be cancelled now, today, and the nomination should immediately be taken to the Senate floor for an up-or-down vote.

Reason #1 was provided by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who told fawning fake reporters that he and his fellow Democrats would boycott any votes in committee or on the floor related to the nomination. Ok, well, given that, what’s the point of hearings? If every member of the minority party has made up his or her mind on the nomination and will not even show up to vote on it, why allow this farce to go on?

As I’ve pointed out before, there is no requirement for the Judiciary Committee to hold these hearings. They are a matter of Senate process, not constitutional law. In the past, the point of holding such hearings was to vet the nominee and allow the committee to render a studied judgment on his or her qualifications for the job. The point of that judgment was so that the Committee as a whole could issue a recommendation to the full Senate on whether or not to confirm the nominee. Given that not a single member of the committee – Republican or Democrat – has an open mind on the incredibly well-qualified nominee, there is no point to holding these hearings.

Besides, Judge Barrett was just vetted for her seat on the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals three short years ago, and was confirmed on a bipartisan vote. How much more does this committee need to know?

This takes us to Reason #2: The Democrats made a strategic decision at Monday’s hearing to simply turn it into a campaign event revolving around the Affordable Care Act, aka, Obamacare. Every Democrat on the Committee used their 10 minute opening statements as a commercial for the ACA and why they think it should be retained. Every one of them read comments written for them by some staffer, all based on the same ACA-centered talking points. Only a handful even bothered to discuss the nomination and Judge Barrett’s qualifications in any real way.

It’s a campaign event, not a hearing. They’re focusing on the ACA instead of their real driving issue – abortion on demand, including infanticide after birth – because Obamacare polls more favorably for them than abortion does. It really is that simple.

Thus, lacking any cogent, legitimate arguments why Judge Barrett should not be confirmed, they stage a campaign rally and then promise to take their ball and go home like that pathetic little kid who lived down the street from you when you were in second grade.

McConnell and Graham should take this childish behavior by their “friends” on the other side as an opportunity to invite them all to go home. If they wish to stage campaign events related to Obamacare, then they should pay for them from their own campaign funds. There is no valid reason for Senate Republicans to enable them and allow them to conduct this joint rally on government time.

This farce should end, now.

That is all.

Biden Masks His Court Packing Position With Lies

Who gets away with this? – Why, any Democrat gets away with it, that’s who:

Yes, friends, you don’t deserve to know what Joe Biden’s position on packing the Supreme Court is before you go vote in this election. You don’t have to believe me or anyone else, the candidate himself just told you that. It’s like Nancy Pelosi and the whole Obamacare deal, when she said that neither Americans nor members of congress needed to know what was in the 2,000 page bill before congress voted on it: “We’ll have to pass the bill to see what’s in it.”

As always, the contempt for the average American held by Democrat politicians is brutally stunning. But it’s nothing new: The only difference between now and 50 years ago is that the politicians no longer make any effort to hide it.

Look, there is no mystery here: Biden’s refusal to answer the question simply means that he is going to pack the court if he is elected. If he weren’t in favor of doing so, he would answer the question. This is not hard.

In order to justify that position, Biden and his supporters in and out of the corrupt news media have now taken to accusing the Republicans and President Trump of “packing the courts” by confirming so many federal judges over the past few years and by pushing the nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the Supreme Court. Never mind that what the GOP has achieved since 2017 is thanks to the fact that the voters, in fair and free elections, chose to award the Party control of both the presidency and the U.S. Senate.  President Trump’s and Mitch McConnell’s focus on nominating and confirming judges using the process laid out in the Constitution is now being portrayed somehow nefarious in and unfair.

Dan Rather, the guy who literally invented the entire model for “fake news” in the 2004 campaign, tweeted his support for this utterly dishonest line of though on Saturday, and Senate Ted Cruz had a great reply:

You just could never make this stuff up.

Meanwhile, Biden has to have help from his staff to even know which way to exit a podium:

That was after making yet another teleprompter speech to a pretend audience, during which he misread his staff-dictated position on the minimum wage. The Unfrozen Caveman Candidate said he wanted to require a minimum wage of “15 million dollars an hour” rather than $15 per hour.

Personally, I’ll take the $15 million an hour and retire now.

Interestingly, Biden also made this particular speech without wearing a mask as a virtue signal. It remains a mystery how his staff determines whether or not he should wear a mask at any given dictated speech before any given pretend audience.

Obviously, since there is never a real audience consisting of more than 5-8 people, there’s never a valid reason for him to have one on, but he wears one about 70% of the time, apparently purely as a virtue signal to all the suburban housewife Karens out there. Naturally, no one in the pack of incurious sheep who follow him around as his pretend “press corps” has ever had the intellectual curiosity to ask the simple question: How is this determination made? What are the criteria?

Is it purely based on the polling data of the moment? Is there some preset threshold of mask polling support that must be met in order for the candidate to don the mask, and if said support falls below that threshold, he doesn’t wear it?

Given that Democrats make literally every decision they make based on polling and focus group data, this seems most likely. But, just as with Biden/Harris Harris/Biden’s position on packing the courts, the corrupt news media lacks the institutional and personal integrity to do its job and obtain real answers.

Because that is who these corrupt fake journalists are, and it is what they do in today’s America.

That is all.

Why the Senate Should Confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett This Week

“I clerked for Justice Scalia more than 20 years ago, and the lessons I learned still resonate. His judicial philosophy is mine, too. A judge must apply the law as written. Judges are not policymakers, and they must be resolute in setting aside any policy views they might hold…I love the United States, and I love the United States Constitution.” – Judge Amy Coney Barrett yesterday.

That 100 word statement describes in a nutshell why Democrats and their America-hating toadies in the corrupt news media hate Judge Amy Coney Barrett and will do anything they can come up with to smear and slander her. The Constitution, and a strict interpretation of its actual words, has been anathema to the Democrat Party since Woodrow Wilson was elected in 1912. It is in fact a bane on that Party’s very existence.

With Senate Democrats lining up to announce they will not only oppose her nomination, but that they will also refuse to even meet with her when she makes the traditional courtesy visits to members of the Senate Judiciary Committee and other key senators, Lindsey Graham announced on Saturday that his committee hearings on Judge Barrett’s nomination will start on October 12. If Graham is saying that publicly, then that means he has the sign-off from Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to proceed with those hearings.

My only question is, why? Why are Senate Republicans agreeing to hold committee hearings at all on a nomination whose ultimate outcome is a fait accompli? No Democrat will support Barrett’s confirmation. Joe Manchin will make noises about doing that, but he will ultimately allow Chuck Schumer to bully him one more time into marching along with the rest of the Democrat Senate fascists, because that is what Joe Manchin does.

Meanwhile, with Lisa Murkowski now coming around in the face of a primary threat from Sara Palin, only one Republican Senator, Susan Collins (of course), is even implying she might not support Barrett’s confirmation before Election Day. Mitt Romney may ultimately fink out and cast his wormy lot with the Democrats just as he did in their impeachment scam, but that won’t be enough.

Mitch McConnell has the votes to confirm Judge Barrett to the Supreme Court on Monday. That would be the logical thing to do in this case since the Court convenes for its 2020-21 session on the first Monday in October, just 8 days from now. The goal of the U.S. Senate should always be that it acts as expeditiously as possible to ensure the Court always has its full compliment of 9 justices.

But what about the vetting process? Good lord, Judge Barrett was confirmed to the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals just three years ago, and was thoroughly vetted at that time. She even received the confirmation votes of 3 Democrats – along with every Senate Republican, including Collins and Murkowski (Romney was not in the Senate in 2017) – for that high profile appointment. There is literally no valid reason at all for the Judiciary Committee to go through that process all over again.

The Democrats desperately want these hearings for the sole reason that they would then be able to create the same sort of character assassination circus that they did with Brett Kavanaugh and, to a slightly lesser extent, Neil Gorsuch, President Trump’s first two nominees. McConnell has exactly zero obligation or duty to provide the Democrats that platform.

Many Republicans argue that the creation of another confirmation hearing slander circus would be bad for the Democrats politically, and that’s probably true. But this is a woman’s life we are talking about here. Politics should not be the main consideration. Judge Barrett is a wife and mother of 7 children, children who should not be subjected to the kind of abuse and smearing the Democrats and their activists will throw at them and their mother in the lead-up to and conduct of such hearings.

Judge Barrett is an extremely well-qualified jurist who has led an exemplary American life. There are no valid arguments to make otherwise. She also has already very recently been vetted and confirmed to a seat on a U.S. Appellate Court by the U.S. Senate.

The Judiciary Committee hearing should be cancelled. Judge Barrett should be confirmed this week and seated on the Court when it convenes on the First Monday in October.

That is all.

Saturday News Roundup: Biden Camp Reeks of Desperation as Trump Preps to Tilt the Court for a Generation

Here is what CNN and MSNBC do every time they see a protest with the potential for turning violent and destructive:

Image may contain: one or more people and fire

Just thought it was a good time to remind readers of that fact.

Time to hook him back up to that IV in the basement. – The Democrat Party’s Unfrozen Caveman Candidate needed a long nap on Friday so his elder-abusing handlers called a lid on the day by 11:00 ET. It marked the 10th day in the first 25 days of September on which the elderly, declining Biden became so tired after a public outing that he had to retreat back to his basement lair.

Because Gropey Joe McNastyFinger was not able, Jill Biden got the assignment of making the campaign’s speech of the day before an imaginary audience. Friday’s event was apparently held in someone’s back yard, and featured a stack of beer kegs as a back drop. No really, I’m not kidding:

Image may contain: 1 person, outdoor

Here is a more fulsome view of that back yard event, so you can see that she is literally speaking to virtually no one:

That is a scene of utter failure and desperation. The Biden/Harris Harris/Biden campaign truly is a campaign that never was.

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump was all over the damn place, visiting three different states in about 16 hours, and holding massive rallies in both Jacksonville and Virginia. Here are some of those scenes:

Magnificent. That’s America.

The corrupt news media and its self-immolating polling establishment expect you to believe that the guy who spends his afternoons napping and having fluids injected is way ahead of the incumbent who attracts these massive outpourings of support everywhere he goes. Think about that for a minute: Has our country ever seen a losing presidential contender who could attract such crowds?

Really and truly: The media is brainwashing you to believe that the Trump campaign is in the same losing position that Jimmy Carter was in in 1980; that Walter Mondale was in in 1984; that Bob Dole was in in 1996; that John McCain was in in 2008. Those who are baby boomers like me will remember the absolutely moribund nature of those losing campaigns and their inability to fill any facility larger than a jr. high gymnasium.

Trump reportedly had 35,000 people lined up trying to get into his Jacksonville event yesterday, and over 20,000 trying to see him in Virginia, which has become a blue state in recent election cycles. Do you really believe that is a sign of a losing campaign, especially when contrasted to the scenes of emptiness and desperation the Biden campaign creates every day?

Please. The very fact that he is taking time to hold a rally in Virginia tells us that his campaign’s polling numbers lead them to believe that “blue” state is in play. And if Virginia is in play, then so are a bunch of other “blue” states.

During his Jacksonville rally, President Trump said that “I think we’re ahead; like, by a lot.” The media and Democrats immediately leapt to ridicule that statement, but think back on the last five years and how many times Donald Trump has made a seemingly absurd prediction or statement that later turned out to have been absolutely true? It has been one of the most consistent features of his campaigns and presidency, in fact.

Another of the most consistent features of his presidency has been the President’s keeping the promises he made during his 2016 campaign. One of those promises was to nominate consistently constitutionalist judges to the federal judiciary. Boy, has he kept that one, and with the able assistance of Mitch McConnell, he has kept it in record numbers.

Today, President Trump will reportedly nominate Amy Coney Barrett, a supremely-qualified Appellate Court Judge, to replace the departed Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Barrett is by all accounts a wonderful jurist and mother who has led an upstanding and extremely-accomplished life.

Naturally, the leftwing Perpetual Outrage Crowd on Twitter leapt to start the process of attacking her and her children as soon as the reports of her pending nomination started leaking Friday afternoon. Here is Senator Josh Hawley responding to on example of the awfulness:

For those unaware, Judge Barrett  is a devout Catholic and the mother of 7 children, including two who she adopted from the impoverished nation of Haiti. Repugnant leftists like this one – and no doubt many Democrat politicians as well – will no doubt attack her for her faith and attack her children as well.

The next few weeks are going to be very ugly. For the radical left, this seat on the Supreme Court is literally the entire war for the soul of America, because the seating of a third Trump nominee will create a constitutionalist majority on the Court that would make the obviously compromised John Roberts completely irrelevant.

For the left, this is war. Do not kid yourselves otherwise.

I’m going to forego the daily riot update for today. It will resume tomorrow.

Today, I want to close with this series of tweets issued last night by leading Democrat Lanny Davis, a corrupt DC lawyer who has toadied for the Clintons for the last quarter of a century now:

Davis goes on in this vein for another 10 tweets or so. Obviously, he’s just speaking for himself, and equally obviously, pretty much everything he says is utter nonsense. Does anyone really think companies like Costco, Starbucks, Apple and Microsoft would just close up shop across the entirety of the U.S. Southwest, Midwest and South?

Please. We’d still get to keep our I-Phone addictions, plus we would get Vegas!

It’s a deal, Lanny – go for it!

That is all.

ACB Will Replace RBG

If you pray, say a big one for Amy Coney Barrett, who will be nominated by President Donald Trump tomorrow to replace the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the U.S. Supreme Court. Judge Barrett is obviously a very brave woman, because she knows without any doubt that she is about to be slandered and smeared in the most vicious ways the Democrats and their toadies in the corrupt news media can devise.

As we saw with Justice Brett Kavanaugh and his confirmation process, those on the left are very creative and quite without grace, mercy or human decency when it comes to these Supreme Court battles. No lie is too heinous, no tactic too underhanded for them to be willing to give it a try.

Judge Barrett is the mother of 7 children, including two she adopted from Haiti. She knows with out any doubt at all that those children will not be spared the vicious, hateful attacks from those on the left, which have in fact already begun among the Perpetual Outrage Crowd on Twitter. All of those attacks on children clearly violate Twitter’s stated “rules,” but you can be sure that evil social media operation will make no effort to police them.

One would hope that Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham would not allow the Democrats a weeklong platform from which to spew their venom during committee hearings, choosing instead to hold only a brief, proforma hearing that severely limits members’ ability to grandstand. Frankly, one would hope that they would simply not hold a hearing at all, since none is in fact required, but that’s too much to expect from those two, given their stupid, archaic reverence for Senate process, for which not a single Democrat member of that body gives a tinker’s damn.

An expedited process could have this extremely well-qualified woman sworn-in by mid-October, and that is what McConnell should aspire to achieve. In the meantime, we must all prepare ourselves for the sorry spectacle the media and Democrats will create over this nomination.

It will be despicable, demented, depraved, disgusting and disgraceful. But hey, these are Democrats we’re talking about here – you expected something else?

That is all.

Biden Predicts 2/3rds of U.S. Population Will Die Today, and Other Sunday Hilarity

After taking the day off on Saturday – the day after the death of leftist icon Ruth Bader Ginsburg – Creepy Uncle Quid Pro China Bumbin’ Joe Biden was allowed out of his basement by his guards, er, “campaign staff” so he could go read a speech in front of a pretend audience. To no one’s surprise, all manner of hilarity and deception ensued.

No, I am not making that headline up. – In yet another failure to properly read his TelePrompter, the Democrats’ Unfrozen Caveman Nominee predicted on Sunday that “It’s estimated that 200 million people will die, probably by the time I finish this talk.”

No, really, that’s exactly what he said:

Honestly, how many data points do we need for everyone to figure out that this guy is in advanced dementia? You can talk all you want to about Biden’s propensity for gaffes, but this is just not something anyone in their right mind actually says out loud. It just isn’t.

The honest truth is that if Joe Biden were to win this election and become president, we would all be far more likely to die in a nuclear holocaust because Gropey Joe McNastyFinger mistook the nuclear launch button for the flusher on the Oval Office toilet than we would be of dying from some virus. This simply cannot happen. Not even in the year 2020.

Liars, damn liars and any random Democrat. – In the same speech spoon fed to him by his elder-abusing handlers, Biden made this false claim:

President Trump has in fact been challenging Biden for months to be open and honest with the American people about the kind of radical leftwing lunatics he would be willing to appoint to the courts. Every word out of Joe Biden’s mouth is an outright lie, even though he personally isn’t aware of most of it. Every. Damn. Word.

And of course, once he had finished rublin’ stumblin’ bumblin’ his way through his dishonest speech to a fake audience, Biden fled the scene without objection from any of the assembled fake reporters:

Meanwhile, Democrats on Twitter are pointing at Rahm Emanuel and screeching “HERETIC!!!!!” – That’s because the former Chicago Mayor had this to say on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday morning:

Man, is he off the dementia reservation.

In other Despicable Democrat news, San Fran Nan refused to rule out mounting another fake impeachment hoax as a means of preventing President Trump from filling the Supreme Court vacancy:

It just don’t get no more despicable than that, folks.

Or does it? – With Amy Coney Barrett at or near the top of the list of potential Trump nominees, let’s all remember how disgusting Dianne Feinstein and other Democrats assaulted her for her religious beliefs during her confirmation to the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals:

That might be even more despicable than Pelosi. Hard to tell, though, since it’s such a high bar.

Let’s close with another bit of unintentional comic relief, this time provided by the walrus-like Michael Moore:

Someone should really let Mr. Moore know that a government shutdown would not apply to the ongoing work of congress.

Holy crap.

That is all.

Trump Should and Will Nominate a Replacement for Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Little Lindsey Graham has another problem on his hands. On October 3, 2018, Graham, in an appearance on C-Span, promised that “If an opening comes in the last year of President Trump’s term…we’ll wait to the next election” to hold hearings and confirm the nominee. Not until the next inauguration – the next election, which is November 3.

Graham, being the little compromised cock-of-the-walk that he is, then boldly told the C-Span host to “hold the tape,” which C-Span of course did. This tape is already being used by Democrats and their media toadies like Jonathan Karl as a hammer against Graham as the battle over the new opening on the U.S. Supreme Court heats up to what will certainly become civil war-threatening levels.

As Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Graham will get to preside over the coming hearing related to the nominee President Donald Trump (I still never tire of typing those three glorious words) sends over to congress. Mitch McConnell – Graham’s boss in the Senate, and the guy who stupidly gave Graham this committee chairmanship – has already promised that the nominee will be considered and confirmed by the Senate:

“In the last midterm election before Justice Scalia’s death in 2016, Americans elected a Republican Senate majority because we pledged to check and balance the last days of a lame-duck president’s second term. We kept our promise,” McConnell continued. “Since the 1880s, no Senate has confirmed an opposite-party president’s Supreme Court nominee in a presidential election year.”

McConnell added that “by contrast, Americans reelected our majority in 2016 and expanded it in 2018 because we pledged to work with President Trump and support his agenda, particularly his outstanding appointments to the federal judiciary.”

“Once again, we will keep our promise,” he said. “President Trump’s nominee will receive a vote on the floor of the United States Senate.”

[End]

Note that, for McConnell’s rationale to be 100% certain to come about, the hearings and confirmation must take place before November 3. Because, should the President lose to Joe Biden, he would then become a “lame-duck” President, thus turning McConnell’s reasoning on its head.

That reasoning not only conflicts with Graham’s C-Span comment, it also conflicts with the statement issued in an interview earlier this week – before Ginsburg passed – by RINO Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski, who said “I would not vote to confirm a Supreme Court nominee” before the November election had come and gone. “Fair is fair,” she added without any supporting evidence that her reasoning is in any way “fair” to the country.

Murkowski did not repeat that commitment in a statement she issued last night:

Image

So, obviously she is waiting to have a conversation with McConnell before going off half-cocked again.

The other most highly-suspect GOP RINO senator in this instance, Susan Collins, took the same approach as Murkowski, lauding Ginsburg in a statement but making no commitment one way or another on holding hearings and a vote before Election Day. Collins, it should be noted, is involved a close re-election campaign (Murkowski is not) and another strong performance in confirmation hearings – like she had with the Brett Kavanaugh nomination – would help her maximize GOP voter turnout.

The nominee will almost certainly be a woman, and Amy Coney Barrett seems to be the odds-on favorite. Others on the list include Joan Larsen of Michigan, who sits on the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals, Brett Grant, a 42 year-old rising star on the 11th Circuit who clerked for Justice Kavanaugh, and Allison Eid, who succeeded Justice Neil Gorsuch on the 10th Circuit Court. All are relatively young (Barrett and Larsen are 51, Eid is 55) and all have sterling records and backgrounds.

All, of course, would be mercilessly slandered and smeared by the Democrat/Media Axis of Propaganda.

For the country, Ginsburg’s death is just one more instance in which the year 2020 moves us inexorably closer to a real civil war, which the Democrats and their domestic terrorist tools in BLM and Antifa have been fomenting all summer. You should expect the rioting that magically came to a halt last Saturday after the Democrats saw their awful new polling data to start up again with renewed intensity as soon as President Trump announces his nominee.

My bet is that the Democrats will make sure that the renewed riots become so violent and destructive that the President will have no choice but to invoke the Insurrection Act prior to Election Day, which has been the Democrat plan all along.

As for Ginsburg, the nicest thing that can be said is that she was extremely tough: A 3-time cancer survivor who clung to her seat of political power for every last day she could wring out of it.

And make no mistake about it: She saw the Court and her seat on it as a political tool, nothing more. Ginsburg spent 27 long years politicizing every decision made by the Supreme Court, where she was a malevolent presence who utterly discarded the notion that the Court’s purpose was to interpret the Constitution, not to try to implement the personal feelings of the Justices themselves.

Ginsburg even managed to politicize her own death, telling an interviewer recently that “My Most Fervent Wish Is That I Not Be Replaced Until a New President Is Installed.”

Smarmy Democrats and corrupt reporters will play that up for all it’s worth. But this is hard ball politics and in that world you can, as my Daddy used to tell me, “wish in one hand and spit in the other and see which one fills up faster.”

President Trump should and will quickly nominate a replacement for Ginsburg, and the Senate should  confirm that nominee. Period.

That is all.

Democrat/Media Catholic Bashing Has 3 Letters In Mind: RBG

The Afternoon Campaign Update

(Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Many of you have probably figured this out, but it’s important to point out that the recent Democrat/Media focus on demonizing Catholics and Catholicism in general has one thing in mind:

 Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Ginsburg is likely to be off the Supreme Court soon, either by choice or by death, and her most likely replacement nominated by President Trump will be Amy Coney Barrett.  Ms. Barrett is a brilliant legal mind, currently a judge on the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals, and one of a handful of most qualified people in America to replace Ginsburg.

She also happens to be — wait for it — Catholic.

The Democrats have already assaulted Barrett for her Catholocism during her confirmation hearings for her current job.  Despicable Sen. Dianne Feinstein made big news when she told Judge Barrett that “the [Catholic] dogma lives loudly within you, and that’s a concern” during that hearing, which took place in April of last year.

More recently, Feinstein was joined by the even more despicable Hawaii Sen. Mazie Hirono and CA Sen. Kamala Harris in efforts to demonize Federal District Judge nominee Brian Beuscher for his membership in the Catholic Knights of Columbus organization:

“The Knights of Columbus has taken a number of extreme positions. For example, it was reportedly one of the top contributors to California’s Proposition 8 campaign to ban same-sex marriage,” Hirono asked Brian Buescher, Trump’s nominee for an open U.S. Federal District Court position, in a series of written questions. “If confirmed, do you intend to end your membership with this organization to avoid any appearance of bias?”

Of course, now we have this current days-long response to an event that was staged by a professional leftist activist, demonizing first a group of teenagers who were minding their own business, then their Covington Catholic High School that organized their field trip, and now Catholic/private education in general.

Obviously, the Democrat/media plan is to create an advance narrative in the public mind that anyone who is associated with the Catholic Church is unqualified to hold public office, in the hopes of hanging this test of heinous religious bigotry around Judge Barrett’s neck when she comes before them as the nominee to replace Ginsburg. So if you’ve been wondering what all of this anti-Catholic hysteria coming from Democrats and the fake news media recently has been all about, well, wonder no more.

Yes, it is the very definition of religious bigotry; yes, it is the very definition of un-American; yes, it is morally-depraved and utterly despicable. But hey, these are leftists we’re talking about here, so none of that should come as any surprise, should it?

Nothing the Democrats or media do is spontaneous anymore – everything is just part of a narrative.

That is all.

Amy Coney Barrett is the Perfect Nominee for this Moment in Time

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Hillary Clinton, the gift that just keeps on giving.  To Republicans.  – Oh please, let this be so.  Michael Goodwin, terrific columnist for the New York Post, had a great piece on Saturday laying out the reasons why he believes that the Fainting Felon is planning behind the scenes to mount yet another run for the presidency in 2020.  Personally, I think he’s right – have long thought this would inevitably be the case – and that everyone should begin prepping themselves for Hillary Part III:  The Return of the Pantsuit.

And why not?  Think about it – what other, truly viable candidate for the presidency does the Democrat Party truly have sitting out there for 2020?  Fauxcahontas?  President Trump would dispose of her with a one-liner in their first debate.  Republicans would be thrilled to fund her primary campaign.

Kirsten Gillebrand?  She’s Hillary, Part II:  The Clone Wars.  Not a genuine cell in her entire body.  This is a politician so utterly fake that she spent six months running around the country tossing the “F” word and other profanities into her speeches because she had polling information that showed that cussing appealed to Millennial voters.  That tactic wore thin very quickly, and you’ll note she isn’t doing it any more.  She’s an out-and-out joke, which, come to think of it, would make her the Democrat Party’s perfect nominee in 2020.  But Hillary Clinton is literally the Queen of political fakery.  She’s been doing it since Gillebrand was wearing diapers.

Corey Booker?  This guy’s closet looks like a skeleton repository.  The Clinton machine would grind him into dust in a month once primary season begins.

Kamala Harris?  She wants to be the Second Coming of Barack Obama, and maybe she can be.  She’s certainly attractive, glib, narcissistic and shallow enough.  But second comings in national politics are really hard to pull off.  Just ask Jack Kemp, the Second Coming of Ronald Reagan, or John Edwards, the Second Coming of Bill Clinton, exactly how hard that is to do.

Who else you got, Democrats?  No matter who raises his or her hand, you can bet the Grasping Grifter is sitting there, plotting a way to destroy them in her unending quest to attain the nation’s highest office and convert our entire country into a mob-style influence peddling operation.  She’s already got her own Super PAC established and well-funded, and a small army of brainwashed toady boys like Brian Fallon and Robby Mook ready to go out and parrot talking points on her behalf.

Anyone who expected the Pantsuit Princess to just gracefully accept defeat and fade off into the sunset like a normal person doesn’t understand Hillary Clinton.

Prime Time Tonight:  The world’s greatest showman nominates a Supreme Court Justice! – No one understands the power of television like President Trump does.  Where past presidents announced their supreme court nominees in mid-day appearances in the White House briefing room, this President schedules his announcements for prime time in a ball room filled with his staff, congressional leaders and cabinet officials.  It’s like the final episodes of each season of The Celebrity Apprentice, only now the “celebrity” winner gets to sit on the nation’s highest court for the next 30 years or so, God willing.

All the speculation on the nominee’s identity centers around four contenders:  Thomas Hardiman, Raymond Kethledge, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett.  They’re all great judges, all solidly conservative in their jurisprudence, and any would make a fine member of the Supreme Court.

My view is that the obvious best choice here is Judge Barrett, and yes, it’s because of her gender.  But before any of you gets too upset, let me at least explain my reasoning.

The Democrats are going to either “Bork” or “Clarence Thomas” this nominee.  Regardless of who the person is, regardless of that person’s gender or race or religion or education background or personal integrity, the nominee for this seat on the Supreme Court is going to either be painted as “too extreme” in their views or they will have people coming out of the woodwork to accuse them of sexual harassment or some other sorts of wrongdoing from many years ago that cannot be proven or disproven.

For this simple reason alone, the President should pick Judge Barrett to fill this seat.  As we saw during the 2016 election campaign, it is just too easy for the Democrats to go out and pay a woman or ten women to claim they had affairs or were sexually harassed by a male nominee.  As we saw with Clarence Thomas and with the ongoing #MeToo movement, the woman in such situations is always – always – going to be presumed by the media to be telling the truth.

Because of the manner in which our society has been conditioned to view such interactions between men and women, it will be far harder for Democrats to pay one or more men to scurry out from under the baseboards to claim they were mistreated in some way by a female nominee.  Thus, all other factors being equal, Judge Barrett becomes the obvious choice.

It’s sad to be writing this stuff, and I take no joy in doing so, but these are the rules that leftwingers and radical feminists have constructed for our society.  Republicans, and President Trump, would be stupid not to acknowledge those rules and take them into account.  Yes, many Republicans are in fact stupid, but the President is not among them.

The other, equally obvious reason to nominate Judge Barrett is that, just last year, she was subjected to the senate confirmation process.  Her hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee was very contentious, and the odious Democrats threw most of their playbook at her, focusing mainly on their own inherent religious bigotry against Judge Barrett’s Catholic faith.

Most of America did not get to see the spectacle of the despicable Dianne Feinstein telling Judge Barrett that “the [Catholic] dogma lives loudly within you,” so it would be quite educational for the country if President Trump gives the California Senator a chance to repeat her display of religious bigotry to a broader national audience.

With the mid-term elections coming up and the Democrats still somehow clinging to their “gender gap” advantage with women voters, the President should let his opponents take their best shots at this highly-qualified female nominee.  In fact, he should dare them to do so.

Just another day in Amy Coney Barrett is the obvious choice here America.

That is all.
