Donald Trump Just Keeps on Winning for America

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Ok, well, he IS the Boss. – Bruce Springsteen says he doesn’t “see anyone out there at the moment… the man who can beat Trump, or the woman who can beat Trump.” For some reason, the UK Daily Mail thought it was important for us all to know that, so there you go.

Tired of all this Winning yet? – President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping agreed during the G-20 Summit over the weekend to a 90-day pause in the ongoing trade war between the two nations. While leftists in and out of our fake news media are poo-pooing the deal as just a return to the status quo prior to President Trump’s implementation of new tariffs, that is not the case at all.

The U.S. side of the deal apparently consists of agreeing to not increase U.S. tariffs on hundreds of billions of Chinese goods for the 90-day period, as Trump had threatened to do on January 1. In return, China agrees to rescind its tariffs on imports of U.S. automobiles, roll back its 40% tariff rates on most U.S. goods to lower levels, agreed to purchase an as-yet unspecified amount of U.S. goods to reduce the trade deficit, and – perhaps most importantly – to “stiffen penalties on sales of the powerful opioid fentanyl into the U.S., a step the White House press secretary described as ‘a wonderful humanitarian gesture.'”

Leftists might not like it, but the markets obviously do: Dow futures are up bigly as I write this Update this morning.  #WINNING.

Speaking of winning… – City officials in Tijuana, Mexico acted to move the estimated 6,000 “migrants” out of the sports facility they had occupied for the last few weeks due to the horrid unsanitary conditions they had created there. In a move that will make it harder for the activists among the crowd to mount further assaults on the border crossings there, city officials moved the “migrants” to an abandoned concert venue more than 10 miles further away from the border.

Griff Jenkins at Fox News – and basically no one else in our fake news media – reported last Friday that fully 1/3rd of the “migrants” were being treated for health issues, including head lice, “tuberculosis, four cases of HIV/AIDS and four separate cases of chickenpox,” according to local health authorities. With the unsanitary conditions growing worse by the day, Mexican officials also feared an outbreak of Hepatitis could take place unless the crowd was moved.

In another related turn of events, newly-inaugurated Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (AMLO), in one of his first acts in office, “signed an agreement with his counterparts from three Central American countries to establish a development plan to stem the flow of migrants seeking asylum in the U.S.” This compact was entered into at the urging of the Trump Administration.

Here’s why this is important, even if the human misery among these poor people is hard to watch: The move 10 miles further from the border will no doubt encourage more of them to either return home or accept the generous offer of asylum the Mexican government has been offering them for more than a month now. This “caravan” once numbered more than 10,000, so many already have done so, as Mexican officials confirmed early last week.

The other key factor is that, as it becomes clear that the United States of America is not going to allow these “caravans” to just walk right into our country and sign up for welfare benefits, it will become increasingly difficult for the leftist activists forming and funding them to find people in Honduras and other Central American nations willing to participate. The new willingness of the Mexican government to cooperate with U.S. efforts to halt this tide is a crucial development in all of this.

You will never see anyone at CNN, the New York Times, the Washington Post or any of the three dying broadcast networks admit this, but these latest developments demonstrate how extraordinarily effective the Trump Administration’s response to this “migrant caravan” issue has been.

It is such a joy to have a President who just goes to work every day and finds ways to get things done for the American people rather than cowering in fear at the prospect of getting a little bad press. To get to this point on this “caravan” issue, President Trump has had to overcome decades of horrible immigration policy decisions, the cacophony of inaccurate and outright fake reporting coming from the U.S. and international news media, ongoing resistance from some within his own Administration and a seemingly unending series of laughably unconstitutional decisions issued by an array of Obama-appointed federal judges.

Yet still he not only perseveres, but finds ways to prevail. That is #WINNING. Bigly.

Paris Burning Watch:

By the way, just so everyone understands, the reason why French Child President Emanuel Macron is raising that nation’s already confiscatory gasoline tax to even higher levels is not, as some have reported, an attempt to improve the government’s budget situation. What it really is is a fool’s effort to meet his country’s emissions reduction goals which France – like every nation on earth other than the United States of America – pledged to meet as a part of the Paris Climate Accords.

France’s emissions have actually increased since Macron committed his country to that socialist wealth redistribution scam, which is an embarrassment to him and his government. But hey, he’s not alone – not one single, solitary signatory country to the Paris Accords has met its pledged goals. Indeed, the country that has cut its emissions more than any nation on earth since that deal was signed is…wait for it…The United States of America.

Some of you probably tire of seeing me make this point, but it’s a key point to make:  This is just one more reason to be thrilled that Donald J. Trump won the 2016 presidential contest.  Because had the Pantsuit Princess prevailed that historic day, the streets of New York and Los Angeles would probably be burning along with those in Paris.

That is all.

U.S. News Media Falsely Portrays U.S. Officials as Aggressors in Border Invasion

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Yes, we have films confirming hundreds of mostly-military-aged males from a foreign country attempting to invade our Southern border on Sunday, but this is not an invasion.  Signed, Your Fake News Media. –  After several hundred of the thousands of Central American “migrants” camped out in Tijuana, Mexico attempted to invade the U.S. en masse via one of the border crossings into San Diego, your fake news media and its Democrat Party masters condemned…wait for it…President Donald Trump, U.S. law enforcement officials and the U.S. military personnel stationed there. Because of course they did.

Some things in life are just too predictable.

The invaders hurled rocks, large chunks of granite, bottles and used pepper spray to assault law enforcement officials, who finally responded at one point by using tear gas. Democrats and their media agents nodded in sympathy while the invaders were assaulting our law enforcement officials – this was no day to pretend to support “first responders” after all – and then reacted with head-exploding outrage when the Americans actually fought back with non-lethal means.

These are not people you want in the fox hole next to you when the next war comes.

The despicable creeps who run The Hill actually headlined their report on the invasion attempt thusly:

US agents fire tear gas at migrants along border: AP

So, the 80% of The Hill’s readers with short attention spans who only scan headlines went away outraged in the belief that U.S. “agents” just started lobbing tear gas canisters over the border into Mexico for no particular reason. Which, of course, was exactly what The Hill wants its readers to believe.

Even those who actually read a little bit of the article in question left thinking the U.S. actually provoked the incident.  Here are the first three carefully-worded paragraphs:

U.S. border agents began spraying tear gas at migrants attempting to breach a southern border crossing on Sunday, The Associated Press reported.

The Central American migrants were seeking to come through a border crossing between Tijuana and California, according to an AP reporter at the scene.

The incident happened shortly after the U.S. suspended pedestrian crossings at the San Ysidro port of entry, one of the busiest entry points between the U.S. and Mexico.

Note the first four words:  “U.S. border agents began”. Right off the bat, the reader is conditioned to believe that U.S. law enforcement initiated this invasion, which the writer takes great pains to portray as some sort of unplanned, spontaneous “incident”, going so far as to say, in the third paragraph that “The incident happened (yes, dear reader, it just ‘happened’) shortly after the U.S. suspended pedestrian crossings”.

So, The Hill is telling its readers that this was just a spontaneous, unplanned event that “happened” after the U.S. Border Patrol agents shut down the border crossing and started shooting tear gas into an innocent group of “migrants” who we are to presume were just innocently milling around somewhere on the Mexico side of the crossing.  In fact, this was a carefully pre-planned invasion, as even the little old Campaign Update reported to you early yesterday morning, fully 8 hours before the invasion began. It is utterly outrageous that American media outlets reported on this invasion in a way that places the blame on U.S. officials, but then, the Campaign Update again predicted that would be the case early yesterday morning.

Enemies of the people, defined.  That is your fake news media.

Ocasio Cortez Watch:

But hey, it was all ok when Obama did it. – When a group of 100 “migrants” confronted U.S. Border Patrol officials at the same border crossing five years ago, when America’s Worst Mistake was occupying the White House, the Border Patrol responded by – guess what? – using pepper spray to repel them.  Go figure.  As you might imagine, the fake news media paid the incident scant attention, and what little reporting was done related to it was portrayed in a completely different manner.

Here is the headline from the story run by the San Diego Union newspaper on November 25, 2013:

Border Patrol: crowd confronts agents

What?  No use of the word “fire” in the header?  No mention of pepper spray?  No attempt to portray the Border Patrol agents as the aggressors?  What is going on here?

Surely, the first few paragraphs of this story would paint U.S. officials as the aggressors, right?  Well, let’s see:

A group of about 100 people trying to illegally cross the border Sunday near the San Ysidro port of entry threw rocks and bottles at U.S. Border Patrol agents, who responded by using pepper spray and other means to force the crowd back into Mexico, federal officials said.

The incident has raised concerns among advocates on both sides of the immigration debate, as well as Border Patrol representatives.

Immigrant-rights groups in San Diego said they didn’t know beforehand about the plan to rush the border, and they worry that desperation is driving homeless deportees to make a bold bid to rejoin their families in the United States.

“A group of about 100 people…threw rocks and bottles at U.S. Border Patrol agents” the story begins, clearly and correctly portraying the invaders as the aggressors. The next phrase, “who responded by using pepper spray and other means” clearly and correctly portrays the U.S. Border Patrol as the party being attacked, and responding with appropriate means to protect themselves.

Why the difference in reporting? Isn’t the answer obvious? When the media is fake, and it shares pre-planned talking points with one political party, the nature of the reporting related to eerily-similar invasions will depend entirely upon which party controls the White House.

Again, all of which just proves exactly how clear-eyed President Trump really is when he tags the fake news media as the Enemies of the People.

That is all.

The Week in Revew: Democrats/Media Shift Focus Away From Robert Mueller

The Campaign Update Week in Review

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

This was the week that the media/Democrat narrative mysteriously shifted away from Robert Mueller. After a couple of weeks of renewed, post-election focus on Mueller and his fake “investigation”, the media/Democrat axis of propaganda suddenly shifted to climate change, and then back to the border issue, and the 5,000-plus “migrants” from Central America overwhelming the infrastructure and public patience in Tijuana, Mexico.

This is very odd, since the Climate Scam is where the American Left always goes whenever it has run out of anything else to say. “Climate Change” is always their issue of last resort because of its nature as an ever-evolving set of theories that conveniently allow the scammer to blame literally anything that happens in our daily lives on “Climate Change”.

All those people fighting over cheap TVs at your local Wal-Mart on Black Friday? Climate Change. Riots happening in Paris, France? That’s not caused by tax protesters, it’s caused by Climate Change. Record, bitter cold across the midwest and northeast? Climate Change – never been cold up there before. Your car wouldn’t start yesterday morning? Climate Change. Brian Stelter’s disappearing hairline? Climate Change.

It’s all Climate Change all the time, and that’s why the Axis of Propaganda invariably ends up focusing on it for at least one week every year because all of their other fake narratives have come up a crapper.  Thus, this week, a week when it became increasingly obvious that Robert Mueller has a huge bag of nothing where President Trump is concerned and is continuing to systematically wrap up his 19-month witch hunt, the media and their Democrat masters fell back on their old, reliable fright tactic.

The fake news media has also been forced to report on migrant invasion happening at our Southern border after a couple of weeks of attempting to ignore a story that is hugely damaging to Democrat interests. With even the media now admitting that more than 75% of these giant “caravans” consist of military-aged males, many of whom are known violent gang members, and with President Donald Trump tweeting and talking about it each and every day, the post-election effort to simply ignore it became impossible to maintain.

There are reports this morning that several hundred of the migrant army in Tijuana will attempt to storm the border crossing there later today, so CNN will gladly report on that, hoping to get films of violence that are that fake news network’s stock in trade. Of course, CNN will only air any such video if it can spin the shots negatively against U.S. Border Patrol and military personnel who will be there to turn back the invasion.

Which is what this is.  An invasion.

Let’s go to the rest of this Week in Review:

  • It was the week that all the focus on Climate Change and the migrant invasion took preening CNN peacock Jim Acosta right out of the news cycle, and that was a glorious result. America needs more of this.
  • It was the week that Oklahoma beat West Virginia by a score of 59-56 in a college football game in which neither team’s defense apparently ever took the field of play.
  • It was the week that yet another Obama-appointed federal judge ruled that President Trump, as opposed to all other presidents in U.S. history, lacks the authority clearly given to him in the text of the U.S. Constitution.
  • It was the week that the Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, the man who twisted himself into legalistic knots in order to impose Obamacare on our populace, lied to the American public by claiming there is no difference between an “Obama judge” and the judges appointed by other presidents.  Shame, Justice Roberts, shame on you.
  • It was the week when the White House Correspondents Association ended the tradition of having a bad comedian speak at its annual Dinner, giving yet another win to Donald J. Trump.
  • It was the week that our fake news media invested tons of its air and print time once again trying to convince the American people to care about the killing of a radical Islamist blogger who used to go to dinner parties hosted by editors at the Washington Post. The effort failed. Again.
  • It was the week that President Trump correctly chose to refuse to destroy our country’s key strategic relationship with Saudi Arabia over the killing of a radical Islamist blogger who the Saudi government considered to be an enemy of the state.
  • It was the week that Broward County’s Supervisor of Elections, Brenda Snipes, having tried and failed to steal the state’s senate election for Democrat Bill Nelson and the governor’s election for Democrat Andrew Gillum, tendered her resignation in disgrace. Now, if there is still any justice left in Florida, she will be prosecuted.
  • It was the week that Democrats expressed their outrage at all the subsidies and tax breaks given by the states of New York and Virginia to secure the new Amazon regional headquarters sites, while in their next breath confirming their support for subsidies and tax breaks for solar and wind power and billionaire Elon Musk.  *sigh*
  • It was the week that British Prime Minister Theresa May took her “Brexit” deal to European Union headquarters, a deal that will essentially keep Britain under the EU’s despotic thumb. To no one’s surprise, the EU approved. Sellout is Theresa May’s middle name.
  • It was the week that French Prime Minister Emmanuel Macron, barely a week removed from denouncing Donald Trump and populism at a summit conference in Paris, saw riots break out on the streets of Paris and his personal approval rating fall to below 20%.
  • Meanwhile, in America, it was the week that President Trump saw his approval rating in the daily Rasmussen survey tick up to 51% and stay there.

There’s a message in there somewhere – wonder if the Boy Prince of Paris can see it through all the smoke rising along the Champs Elysee’?

That is all.

The Migrant Caravan Becomes Tijuana’s Problem

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Don’t go away mad, Brenda Snipes, just…well, you know the rest. –  In what is a loss from which the dimwitted people of Broward County who kept re-electing her will never recover, Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes submitted her formal resignation on Sunday. It is hard to understand what could have possibly motivated this action on Snipes’s part, given her stellar reputation and the fact that she had performed so well in her job for so many years.

Hah, hahahahahaha!!!  Ok, I’m kidding.  Seriously, is there anyone in America who needed firing more urgently than Brenda Snipes? I can’t think of a single person, other than perhaps the genius over at ABC who thought it was a great idea to do a reboot of “Roseanne” without Roseanne. There’s a person who needs firing. But other than him, it’s Brenda Snipes. No question.

Snipes, who is 75, expressed a desire to “spend more time with her family,” which is code for she is going to flee Broward County as quickly as possible in order to say one step ahead of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, which has begun an investigation into all of her machinations related to this election. The grandkids aren’t going to be seeing a whole lot of MeeMaw in the near future.

Oh, hey, and execrable Democrat Senator Bill Nelson finally, at long last conceded his loss to Republican Rick Scott. With Snipes fleeing the coop, any chance of “finding” the additional 13,000 “votes” Nelson would have needed to end up winning fled with her. Nelson, who has apparently had more work done than Cher, will now have plenty of time to go get more hair plugs and another round of plastic surgery to help keep that Batman-villain smile pasted on his face.

So, the latest in a long line of efforts by Florida Democrats to steal an election is over, the main culprit is gone, and the doofuses in Broward County will have to elect another crook to man the position. Because that’s what the Democrats in South Florida do.

Where have all the people gone? – Where the NFL is concerned, they’ve decided to spend their money on more patriotic pursuits.

After two seasons and change of players and even cheerleaders disrespecting the national anthem and flag, combined with a decidedly crappy on-the-field product, the National Football League is experiencing an attendance crisis. Note I did not say “ticket sales” crisis, because, thanks to myriad corporate sponsorships, the tickets are mostly all sold well in advance.

No, the growing problem for the NFL is that fewer and fewer fans are using those tickets, as evidenced by the half-empty stadiums all over the country yesterday. Unlike football at the collegiate and other levels of the game, where almost all tickets are purchased and used by individuals, the lack of fan attendance is not an end-game for the NFL, but a preview of things to come if the League doesn’t improve its product. Because as the tickets lose their fan appeal luster, the corporate sponsors will begin to look for other, more productive venues at which to target their sponsorship dollars.

um, those are “f’s,” Mr. President. – See if you can spot the misspelling in this tweet from President Donald Trump:

We’ll just assume that was a totally innocent typo and move along.

Speaking of presidential tweets, about an hour after posting that little gem, the President had this to say about the Honduran “migrants” down in Tijuana:

Our fake news media now estimates that roughly 2,400 of these “migrants” have arrived in the Mexican border city of Tijuana, where most of them will apply for asylum in the U.S. at that city’s official port of entry. The problem for Tijuana and Mexico is that there is a long line of previous applicants ahead of them, and the wait for a formal hearing will be months down the road.

So, yeah, the city is ill-prepared to handle such a massive invasion from the South, which is why the Mexican government should have ordered its military personnel to stop the fake caravan at its southern border. Sensing a crisis building as a crowd of 2,400 overwhelmingly military-aged males set up a tent city in one their city’s major parks, hundreds of Tijuana residents staged a protest on Sunday, one that ultimately turned into a minor riot that had to be broken up by local police.

Some of the protesters carried signs reading “No Caravan, No Invasion!”.  This caused heads to explode all over CNN headquarters as all the fake journalists there scrambled to invent a narrative in which all of these Mexican citizens are racists.

It’s important to remember here – and President Trump does – that virtually none of these “migrants” are legitimate applicants for U.S. asylum. In fact, given that Mexico has already offered them asylum in that country, none of their applications will be legitimate under U.S. and international law.

These people are economic refugees – they openly admit to the few journalists who bother to ask that they want to enter the U.S. to find work and take advantage of our social welfare system. While Honduras does have gang problems, so do Chicago and Los Angeles and pretty much every other Democrat-run city in the United States. While we as Americans can feel empathy for these people and sad about their country’s lousy economic environment, we as a country have an absolute right to determine who does and does not get to enter our country. This particular mass of thousands who so openly wish to abuse our system and flout our laws does not deserve entry.

If the government of Mexico wishes to solve Tijuana’s problem, it should give these “migrants” one last chance to accept its generous offer of asylum there and put anyone who declines on the next train back to its Southern border. It’s time to stop the media-generated pretense that these scofflaws are well-meaning people, because they aren’t.

If you want to know why you should harden your heart a little bit and adamantly oppose allowing these people into our country, here is the best reason:

That’s why: Because every person who invades our country by illegal means makes it harder for those who, like Billy Idol, choose to immigrate to our country the right way.

Build the wall.

That is all.
