Mueller’s Big Problem: He Keeps Drawing Judges Who Have Read the Constitution

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Tired of all this Winning yet? – There has been much cause for optimism lately as Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his evil band of Clinton/Obama hacks have repeatedly run into trouble when their cases must finally be heard in federal court.

Mueller’s people most famously had to endure a lecture from Federal Judge T.S. Ellis on May 4 when the judge lambasted them for basically lying to the court in an effort to claim their case against former Trump Campaign Manager Paul Manafort has anything to do with the Special Counsel’s charge to investigate the Democrat/Media-constructed Russia Collusion fantasy.  Their day before Judge Ellis became even worse when he demanded that they produce the memos from Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein that laid out the scope of their investigation, and do so by this coming Friday.  The oily Mr. Rosenstein has fought tooth and nail to keep those memos confidential, on the specious grounds that they contain “classified” information.  Oops.

The Mueller team had another major stumble in court the very next day, when Federal Judge Dabney Friedrich denied their motion for a delay in their absurd case against the Russian firm Concord Management.  Concord is one of the 13 Russian entities that Mueller and his evil minions indicted back in February in a transparently dishonest effort to show their investigation has at least some tenuous connection to the whole Russia Collusion fantasy play.

To make matters even more Keystone Cop-ish, one of the Concord-related companies indicted by Mueller’s band of aspiring circus clowns, Concord Catering, did not even exist at the time the Mueller team claims it was engaged in social media shenanigans.  Oops.

The catch in issuing those indictments, of course, was that the Mueller minions never expected to have to prosecute any of their specious charges, because they assumed none of the accused would actually show up in a U.S. court voluntarily.  But Concord showed up, demanded the Court enforce their constitutional right to a speedy trial, and Judge Friedrich ordered the case to move forward.  Oops.

Mueller’s case against former Trump National Security Advisor General Mike Flynn is also hanging on by a thread at this point.  It has become increasingly obvious over the six months since Flynn entered his guilty plea to lying to the FBI that Mueller’s evil minions withheld exculpatory evidence that would likely clear Flynn of the charge.  The tide in this case began to turn when it was taken over by Federal Judge Emmet Sullivan, who is well-known for his disdain for prosecutors who mislead the court.  Oops.

The developments in all three of these cases clearly demonstrate the utterly dishonest nature of the Mueller “investigation.”  Mueller’s operation is not an “investigation” at all:  It is in fact the witch hunt that President Trump has repeatedly alleged it to be.  Yesterday marked the one-year anniversary of Mueller’s baseless appointment by Rosenstein, and in all that time Mueller and his ever-expanding team of witch-hunters have uncovered exactly zero evidence that anyone in the Trump Campaign or transition team colluded with any Russian to influence the 2016 election outcome.

The series of court setbacks are all very encouraging for those non-Democrats and non-fake journalists who have realized all along what a sham the entire Mueller enterprise has been.  But we all need to take a little breath here and realize that all of these encouraging developments have come about largely due to the luck of the draw.  The fact is that to this point, Mueller has suffered some very bad luck in terms of the judges who have been assigned to his cases.

Although a Clinton appointee to the federal bench, Judge Sullivan has long been well-known as a judge who forces both sides to adhere firmly to the rules of evidence and repect for the process.  The case against General Flynn appeared to be a done deal under the original judge assigned to the case, Rudolph Contreras, an Obama appointee to the federal bench.  Contreras was forced to recuse himself from the case in early December when it was publicly revealed that his is a FISA judge who likely signed off on one of the FISA warrants that gave the FBI authority to spy on the Trump Campaign in 2016.  Contreras had no problem allowing Mueller to just do as he pleased.

Judge Ellis is a Reagan appointee.  Judge Friedrich is a Trump appointee.  Both judges have, inconveniently for Mueller and his evil minions, actually read the Constitution and hold a healthy respect for it.  Had Mueller drawn Obama appointees in the Concord or Manafort cases, he’d likely not be having any problems in either case.

It’s key to note that judges are assigned to these cases on a random draw basis.  Thus, to this point, Mueller has been extremely unlucky, given that there are more Clinton and Obama appointees populating the Virginia and Washington, DC federal bench – where Mueller’s grand juries are convened – than there are Reagan, Bush and Trump appointees.

We can’t count on that luck to continue.  At some point Mueller will draw an Obama judge, and any notion of due process and constitutional protections for the defense will fly right out the window.  Just something to think about as this mess keeps moving ahead.

Just another day in let’s hope Mueller’s bad luck continues America.

That is all.

As The Week Ends, Chuck Grassley Drops a Bomb of His Own

The Evening Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Well, there’s never a dull moment in Washington, DC these days.  It seems we can never get to the end of a work week without major new developments in the whole Russia Collusion fantasy play getting dropped into the mix for the weekend.

Tired of being stonewalled by the tag team of Rosenstein and Wray, Grassley late this afternoon sent a letter over to both men demanding documents his Senate Judiciary Committee had first requested more than a year ago.  Specifically, Sen. Grassley is interested in seeing the underlying FBI documentation that was provided to Special Counsel Robert Mueller related to the General Mike Flynn guilty plea, including the 302 forms created by all FBI agents who were present at the initial interview of General Flynn.

When Grassley and his committee initially requested these documents in March of 2017, DOJ and the FBI responded by sending ex-FBI Director and current teenage drama queen Jim Comey up to capital hill to offer a closed-door briefing on the matter.  In his letter today, Grassley confirms that, during that testimony, Comey told the committee that the FBI agents who interviewed Flynn saw no reason to believe he lied to them during the meeting, an assertion that Comey, in his preparation for his coming criminal defense, is now running all over the country denying.

This is a big deal, if for no other reason than that it places just one more pressure point on Rosenstein and Wray to end their long efforts to stonewall congressional investigators.  The letter also places major new pressure on Comey to come clean with the following passage:

“The Justice Department declined to provide any of that information, and instead then-FBI Director Comey provided a wide-ranging briefing to us on March 15, 2017 that touched on the Flynn issues.

Like the Flynn interview itself, that briefing was not transcribed. Also like the Flynn
interview, there are notes taken by a career, non-partisan law enforcement officer who was
present. The agent was on detail to the Committee staff at the time. According to that agent’s
contemporaneous notes, Director Comey specifically told us during that briefing that the FBI
agents who interviewed Lt. General Michael Flynn, “saw nothing that led them to believe [he
was] lying.” Our own Committee staff’s notes indicate that Mr. Comey said the ‘agents saw no
change in his demeanor or tone that would say he was being untruthful.'”

So, not only do the committee’s notes reflect Comey’s assertion of Flynn’s truthfulness during that meeting, the notes of a “career, non-partisan law enforcement officer who was…on detail to the Committee staff at the time” reflect the same thing.

Again, this revelation, along with the May 25 deadline set by Grassley for production of these records, is a big deal.  The walls just keep closing in on Comey and the rest of the anti-Trump cabal.  Good stuff.

Just another day in Donald Trump just keeps on Winning America.

That is all.

The Nunes “Threat” on Sessions: Not What it Seems to be?

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

The NRA held its annual convention in Dallas over the weekend and President Trump was a featured speaker.  But that wasn’t the big news.  The big news came when failed actress and failing anti-gun activist Alyssa Milano showed up to stage a protest in a park across the street from the convention center, complete with a small army of body guards who were – you guessed it – clearly carrying firearms.  Seriously, if liberals didn’t exist, you could not make them up.

Two headlines on the Drudge Report this morning caught my eye:

  • “With no letup in home prices, California exodus surges;” and
  • “California to require solar panels on new homes.”

Cause, meet effect.

“Here’s our new poll showing President Trump’s popularity rising dramatically.  We apologize for the findings of our new poll and will try to do better faking our data in the future.” –  The new Reuters/Ipsos poll is out, and it shows a dramatic rise in the public’s job approval for the President, to 48 percent.  Hilariously, the leftwing lunatics who conduct this poll included the following disclaimer along with the poll results:

“This week’s Reuters/Ipsos Core Political release presents something of an outlier of our trend. Every series of polls has the occasional outlier and in our opinion this is one. So, while we are reporting the findings in the interest of transparency, we will not be announcing the start of a new trend until we have more data to validate this pattern.”

So, if you were entertaining the thought that the people who run the Reuters/Ipsos poll did so in a sincere search for accurate findings, you can now put that thought out of your mind.  No need to thank me for this public service announcement.

You have a point, but why have you waited until now? – House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes told an interviewer on Fox News yesterday that he is planning to move to hold Attorney General Jeff Sessions in contempt of congress this week.  The issue at hand is the Justice Department’s and FBI’s ongoing refusal to comply with his committee’s information requests in a timely manner.

It’s a valid point, and House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, who is one of the candidates to succeed Paul Ryan as Speaker of the House, expressed his agreement in a later interview on the same network.  My only question, though, is why has Nunes waited until now to threaten such action?  It’s not as if this stonewalling on the part of DOJ and the FBI is something new – it’s been going on since last summer.

One of the big problems Nunes and the rest of the Republicans in congress have in such situations is that they are viewed by those in the executive branch as paper tigers, people who make a lot of noise for the television cameras but who, when push comes to shove, can always be counted upon to back off at the first sign of negative media coverage of their actions.

Obama Attorney General Eric Holder no doubt laughed his butt off when he saw Nunes’ threat.  After all, Holder was held in contempt of congress way back during Obama’s first term in office, and what difference did that ultimately make to anything?  None, because the Republicans running congress then were not willing to take the next step and send the Capital police over to DOJ and take Holder into custody.  So Holder was able to just continue on his merry way.

But here’s the thing about the Nunes threat on Sessions:  It may not be what it appears to be.  Think about it for a minute:  First of all, why target Sessions and not the person who is the real problem, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein?  Sessions is recused from the whole Russia Collusion fantasy play – it’s Rosenstein who has been leading DOJ’s obstruction efforts with the various congressional investigations.

Second, again, why now?  Why take this action just when we are reportedly about to finally see the report from DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz made public?  I fully understand Nunes’ frustration, if that’s what it really is, but making this particular threat at this particular time against this particular target doesn’t really seem to make much strategic sense in the context of all these other events swirling around.

Here’s a thought:  Maybe Nunes is taking this action in order to help cement Sessions’ – and by extension, Horowitz’s – independence in the public’s mind in the weeks leading up to the release of the Horowitz report.  Nunes, after all, has been widely (and unfairly) portrayed as a shill for the Trump White House, so what better way to emphasize Sessions’ independence from all of that by going after him personally with a contempt of congress citation?

Why, I wouldn’t be surprised if we also see a nasty Trump tweet, or two, or three, targeting Mr. Sessions in the coming days.  Think about it – things are not always as they seem.

Just another day in you couldn’t make this stuff up if you wanted to America.

That is all.

McCain’s Pettiness, Kerry’s Mendacity and Mueller’s Pettifoggery

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Bitter, petty and mean until his dying breath. – John McCain is settling old grudges in his final days, telling friends (who then leaked it all to the New York Times) that a) he wants Mike Pence to come to his funeral, but not President Trump, b) he wants Barack Obama to deliver a eulogy at his funeral, and c) he regrets choosing Sarah Palin to be his running mate in 2008.  Anyone surprised by any of this hasn’t been paying much attention to John McCain’s behavior over the last four decades.

Bitter, mendacious, and disloyal to the bitter end. – Meanwhile, John Kerry, 2004’s failed candidate for President and the failed Secretary of State who helped Barack Obama sell out America and Israel in the horrible executive agreement with Iran,  was revealed to have spent the past week in what loving liberals in the fake news media call “shadow diplomacy” and what any thinking person calls violations of the Logan Act.  Kerry has been running all over the place, meeting with officials from Iran and other countries in a desperate effort to salvage his pathetic, un-American legacy.

The Logan Act, of course, is an antiquated law that prevents private U.S. citizens from interfering with the foreign policy of the sitting president and his administration.  The law dates to the 18th century, and has never been enforced – if it had been, then people like Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and Jesse Jackson would all be serving time in Leavenworth right now.

So what’s the point here?  Well, if you remember the 10 days during which Obama minion Sally Yates served as acting Attorney General, she actually wanted to prosecute a genuine American hero, General Mike Flynn, for Logan Act violations because he was making introductory phone calls to leaders of other countries during the presidential transition, something every presidential transition team has done since the invention of the freaking telephone.  Every liberal talking head on CNN and MSNBC cheered Yates’s effort.

Trust me, you’re not going to see Sally Yates or any other liberal talking head advocating the charging of John Kerry with violations of the Logan Act for his latest acts of mendacity against our country.  Because liberal outrage is purely transactional.

Are we sure Robert Mueller is even qualified for his job? – Our jack-booted Special Counsel and his band of Clinton/Obama thugs suffered a second consecutive very bad day in court on Saturday, as yet another federal judge ruled against them, this time in a request for a trial delay.

Remember back on a Friday in February, when the very oily Rod Rosenstein held a hasty press conference to breathlessly announce that Mueller was issuing hilariously bogus indictments of 13 Russian defendants for conducting “social media warfare” on the U.S. during the 2016 campaign?  Remember how we speculated at the time that this was all done purely for show, an effort to influence public opinion, but safe in the belief that they’d never have to try to prove their goofy case in court because none of these defendants would ever show up for trial?

Yeah, that didn’t exactly work out for Rosenstein and Mueller.  See, one of the Russian defendants, a company called Concord Management, decided to show up and defend itself, pleading not guilty to all charges.  Hey, that’s not how this was all supposed to work, was it?

Suddenly, Mueller and his thugs find themselves in the uncomfortable position of having to demonstrate how 13 defendants somehow tilted a national election in a nation of 315 million people in favor of Donald Trump essentially by creating a bunch of fake accounts to send out messages on Twitter and Facebook on a total expenditure of a few million dollars.  That’s going to be sort of tough to prove, especially given that the messaging sent out from those fake accounts was both anti-Clinton and anti-Trump.

So the Mueller/Rosenstein strategy here was to delay, and they filed a delay request with the judge in the case, Trump appointee Dabney Friedrich, citing questions about whether or not Concord had ever been properly served in the case, a novel claim coming as it does from the prosecution.  The lawyers for Concord opposed the delay, saying the question of proper service is irrelevant and they are ready to go, and their client has a right to a speedy trial under the Constitution.

The lawyers hilariously said that “the briefing sought by the Special Counsel’s motion is pettifoggery,” and said that Mueller and his team of thugs are not entitled to their own “special rules.”

Unlike any Obama appointee, Judge Friedrich has actually read the Constitution, and thus agreed with the defense. So, either we will soon get to see the spectacle of how Mueller’s evil minions try to prove such obviously fake charges,  Mueller will decide to dismiss the case against Concord, or he and his minions will try to get their delay by appealing up the chain of courts.

I’m betting on the latter, but it sure would be fun to see this sham go to trial.

Just another day in the conspiracy to take down President Trump is falling apart America.

That is all.

The Deep State has Won a Few Battles, but is Losing its War on Trump

The Evening Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

So, let’s review the evolution of the Deep State Cabal’s strategy to rid the D.C. establishment of this troublesome interloper, Donald J. Trump:

  • It began as an effort to fix the 2016 general election – devising a tortured rationale to let the Pantsuit Princes off the hook on her email crimes; spending millions on a fake Trump dossier designed to damage her opponent’s reputation; feeding debate questions to the Coughing Crook in advance; paying an assortment of women to come out of the woodwork to accuse Trump of having affairs in the weeks leading up to Election Day, etc., etc.
  • Having failed in that effort, it morphed into an effort to create so many leaks by Obama holdovers and other deep states inserts into the Administration that it would make it impossible for Trump to govern.  Trump and his few loyalists responded by doubling down on their agenda.
  • Having failed in that effort, it morphed in the spring of 2017 into the Rosenstein/Comey conspiracy to dummy up false grounds for the appointment of a Special Counsel in the person of their best buddy, Robert Mueller.  Mueller’s initial goal was to find criminal wrongdoing by the President.  The problem there was that there is no such crime called “collusion,” and no president can be prosecuted for exercising his constitutional authority, meaning there is no case to be made for “obstruction of justice.”  Trump and his loyalists doubled down on their agenda again.
  • Having failed in that effort, but with congressional preference polling late in 2017 indicating the Democrats had a chance to win control of the House of Representatives in the midterm elections, Mueller’s goal morphed into an effort to build a plausible case for impeachment, and to leak as much damaging information has he could to a cooperating national news media in order to drive down Trump’s public approval numbers.  If he and his media agents could drive the President’s approval ratings down into the low-30s or even into the 20s, even Republicans would likely be willing to vote for impeachment.  Thus, we saw the efforts to claim Trump is mentally unstable, then the efforts to claim his health is bad, then the former playmates and porn stars crawling out of the woodwork to claim 10-12 year-old affairs, and on and on.  Once again, Trump and his loyalists doubled-down on the agenda.

But a funny thing happened to Mueller on his way to this latest goal:  his tactics became so blatantly abusive, and the media’s efforts to justify them so transparently and laughably phony, that the public has become repulsed by the tactics, not the target.  That reaction to the abusive charade, combined with a booming economy and a raft of foreign policy achievements thought to have been unimaginable in the previous administration, has resulted in the President’s public approval ratings climbing to their highest level in 14 months.  In fact, in the daily Rasmussen survey – the lone periodic poll that focuses on likely voters – Mr. Trump’s approval as of today sits at 51%.

So, yet again, the Cabal’s strategy, as implemented by the Special Counsel, the deep state thugs embedded within DOJ and the FBI, and supported by the national fake news media, has miserably failed.

Recently, though, we’ve seen the strategy shift yet again.  The newest strategy, which appears to have been implemented around mid-March, is to viciously assault and character assassinate anyone loyal to Trump in order to ultimately make it impossible for Trump to find people willing to work for him, and thus make it impossible for him to govern.  Call it Chaos Strategy #2.

It started with Scott Pruitt, the extremely effective EPA Administrator, who has been the subject of a withering assault by disloyal EPA employees, the radical environmental community, and the fake news media.  The media effort has been led by the degenerates at the New York Times, who have now filed more than 60 hit pieces targeting Pruitt in the last month.  At one point a few weeks ago, it appeared that the President was preparing to cave to this media pressure and fire Pruitt, but changed his mind at the last minute and stood firm.

That will ultimately prove to be a crucial decision point in all of this.  Had Trump caved on Pruitt, then the walls may well have eventually fallen in around him, because other senior people under assault – like Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke and Chief of Staff John Kelly – might have lost confidence in the President having their backs and jumped ship.

This Chaos Strategy #2 is what the repulsive character assassination of Admiral Ronnie Jackson was about, it’s what the assault on new National Security Advisor John Bolton’s integrity was all about, it’s what the Senate Democrats’ demonization of Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was all about, it’s what the jack-booted raid on the home, office and hotel room of Trump attorney Michael Cohen was about, and it’s even what the White House Correspondents Dinners attacks on Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Kellyanne Conway were about.

Because Trump stood firm on Pruitt, this Chaos Strategy #2 is rapidly failing as well.  Yeah, they claimed a scalp with Admiral Jackson’s withdrawal, but today his main accuser, Vice President Mike Pence’s personal physician, Dr. Jennifer Pena, was forced to resign.  And yes, Cohen remains under assault, but there’s a long way to go on that situation as well.

Meanwhile, Bolton is the new National Security Advisor, Pompeo is now firmly ensconced as Secretary of State, Zinke is still reorganizing the Interior Department and its priorities, and Pruitt is still repealing the anti-American legacy of Barack Obama’s EPA.

So the Chaos Strategy #2 is failing as miserably as all the preceding Deep State strategies failed.  Meanwhile, prospects for the much-touted Democrat “Blue Wave” election wins in November are rapidly fading, the President is on the verge of one of the most astounding foreign policy victories in American history related to Korea, and the main report from DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz will be dropped within days.  That’s when the fun will really begin.

The Deep State’s gonna need another new strategy, and fast.

That is all.

Some Men Just Need Firing, and Rod Rosenstein is That Man

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Thursday was like last Friday, another one of those 5 news cycle days…

– Congressional criminal referrals against McCabe, Comey, Lynch and the Pantsuit Princess;

– The James Comey teen angst tour continues;

– The DOJ Inspector General issues a criminal referral on McCabe;

– Trump hires Rudy Giuliani to “help negotiate an end to the Mueller investigation,” according to Rudy;

– DOJ releases the vaunted “Comey memos” to congress, they immediately leak to the press.

..and that all happened by 5:15 Eastern Time.  Holy cow.

The Campaign Update covered both the Congressional and IG criminal referrals here and here, and we are sick to freakin’ death of talking about the drama queen ex-FBI Director’s teen angst tour, so let’s focus on those last two items this morning, because they are very crucial in everything that is going on.

First, the release of the Comey memos, those precious little tomes that the preening then-FBI Director claims he felt a pressing need to write in order to memorialize this interactions with the new President of the United States.  If you want to read them, just go Google “Comey memos” and trust me, you’ll get several million hits – the things are all over the place this morning, after having been held back by a stonewalling FBI and DOJ for the last year.

Here is the crucial thing to remember about these memos as you read them:  Both Comey and the oily Rod Rosenstein admit that what is in these memos formed Rosenstein’s justification for appointing Robert Mueller as Special Counsel.  Both of them have not only admitted this, they both have done so under oath in testimony before congressional committees.

Here is why that is important:  There is literally nothing in these memos that indicates even a smidgen of wrongdoing by President Donald Trump.  No indication – by Comey’s own admission – of obstruction of justice and no indication of any “collusion” with anyone from Russia.  No indication of any corruption, obstruction or unethical behavior by Mr. Trump whatsoever.

Congressman Trey Gowdy – himself a former prosecutor – as Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, has been aware of what the memos contain for many months now, and he has spent those many months telling anyone who asked that the memos not only do not damage President Trump, they would actually be used as “Exhibit A by the defense” to clear Trump of any wrongdoing.  It turns out that Congressman Gowdy was 100% correct in that assessment.

What these memos do show beyond any doubt at all is that Rosenstein, as the man who appointed Mueller, has perpetrated one of the most massive frauds on the American public in history, and that Comey and Mueller have been accessories to that fraud.  In a just world, Rosenstein would be fired before this day is out, and a special counsel would be assigned to prosecute them for all the perjuries and other crimes they have committed in this endeavor.

But obviously it is not a just world, so Rosenstein will be allowed to slither on through his daily duties of absolutely refusing to supervise Mueller in any way, Comey will be allowed to continue his teen angst book tour, and Mueller will be allowed to continue his assault on the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 6th amendments to the Constitution.

Well, until, that is, Rudy Giuliani – America’s Mayor! – rides in on his white horse and “negotiates an end to the Mueller investigation,” as he put it himself.  If your initial reaction to that bit of news is to think, “What the hell?  Why should President Trump have to negotiate anything in this situation?”, well, join the crowd.

But here we are.  Rosenstein refuses to do his job, Mueller’s sitting there holding such a huge bag of nothing that many in the anti-Trump media speculated that he conducted his jack-booted raid on Michael Cohen in a desperate effort to get Trump to fire him, and the President is understandably quite anxious to put an end to the massive fraud that has thus far haunted his entire presidency.

The things to remember about Giuliani that are very pertinent to this matter are:

  • He’s a former U.S. Attorney himself, and knows how the processes within DOJ work;
  • He’s extremely adept at exercising leverage to get the things he wants to do done, which is what made him such an extremely successful mayor of New York City;
  • Perhaps most importantly, he has direct knowledge of evidence of criminal conduct by Hillary Clinton that was buried by Clinton cronies at the New York P0lice Department and New York City FBI Field Office. Think 600,000 Clinton emails showing up on Anthony Weiner’s laptop.

So he has tons of leverage to exercise in a negotiation with Mueller, whose “investigation” is as much about protecting the Pantsuit Princess and his best buddy Comey as it is about anything else.  Mueller desperately wants to save face by snagging an interview with the President before closing up his shop, something the President should avoid at all costs, given that any interview with Mueller would be set up solely to try to catch Mr. Trump in some perjury trap.

Giuliani’s job will be to convince Mueller it is in his interests to let the thought of any interview with the President go.  Can’t think of anyone better to take on this assignment.

Just another day in Rod Rosenstein needs firing America.

That is all.

The Horowitz Report is Coming, and Hell’s Coming With it.

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Tired of all this Winning yet?  – Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein is reportedly telling people around him that he is at peace with the manner in which he has conducted himself in his tireless efforts to preserve the Washington, DC Deep State and take down a sitting president, and is prepared to be fired.

Well, cool.  President Trump should accommodate him.

Had the President taken this well-deserved action Friday morning, the story would have already been buried under at least four subsequent news cycles, because that’s how many the nation experienced in the last 24 hours.  Think about it, on Friday alone, our fake national news media took us through four major news cycles in a span of less than 24 hours:

  • The James Comey teenage girl diary cycle;
  • The Scooter Libby gets pardoned cycle;
  • The Andrew McCabe is one candor-lacking sonofagun cycle;
  • The Trump bombs Syria cycle.

On top of all that, those of us who live in Texas also went through the Dallas Cowboys cut Dez Bryant and thank God for that news cycle, a story that just a few years ago would have played out over 3-4 days, but in today’s world flashed by between 1:30 and 2:45.

So my continuing advice to Mr. Trump – which has been my advice about the oily Mr. Rosenstein since last June – is to go ahead and fire the clown.  He richly deserves it, and all the threats from Democrats and fake Republicans like Lindsey Graham that there would be terrible consequence for doing so is just so much noise designed to protect the establishment.  At the pace at which events are moving these days, it would all be a forgotten story within hours.

Just ask Paul Ryan, who no doubt thought his announcement that he would not be running for re-election would be huge news for days.  Ryan made his announcement on Wednesday – it seems like weeks ago.

In pardoning Scooter Libby, the President corrected one of the many dark errors left behind by George W. Bush.  Bush commuted Libby’s sentence – an atrocity created by the last out-of-control special counsel, Patrick Fitzgerald – but refused to issue him a full pardon, even though Libby had clearly done nothing wrong.  That Donald Trump had to correct Bush’s error 9 years later will forever remain a stain on Bush’s legacy.

In case you missed it among all the rapidly moving events of Friday, DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz made two major moves in the span of a few hours.

The first and most important was the issuance of the report detailing the horrible conduct of the terminally dishonest Andrew McCabe.  The report is thorough and utterly devastating and completely shreds McCabe’s pathetic excuse-making that came in the wake of his well-deserved firing.  It clearly demonstrates that anyone who gave money to McCabe’s legal defense fund is a damn fool.  Awesome.

The second action Horowitz took on Friday was to send a letter to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, notifying him of his intent to issue his report of his 15-month long investigation of DOJ/FBI abuse during the 2016 presidential campaign in May.  If that report is as thorough and devastating as the IG’s report detailing McCabe’s misconduct, then indictments and perp walks should commence shortly thereafter.  If that doesn’t happen, then we’ll know for sure that Attorney General Sessions is also a corrupt actor who needs firing.

In truth, the Deep State actors like Special Counsel Mueller and his best buddy Comey know that report is going to be devastating, which is why they’ve engaged in such a frenzy of activity over the last few weeks.  The goal is to create as much noise, chaos and doubt in the public mind as possible before the report is issued, and then pound on all the false narratives the media is creating right now as a means of distracting public attention from the real criminal activity the IG report will detail.

It won’t work, but it’s basically all they have left at this point.  In fact, it’s all they ever had to begin with.  While the seeds of chaos are sown very rapidly by our corrupt fake news media, their bite is ultimately toothless.

Meanwhile, the wheels of real justice turn very slowly, but the real consequences they ultimately produce are severe and unavoidable.

To paraphrase Kurt Russell in the great western Tombstone, the Horowitz report is coming, and hell’s coming with it.

Just another day in the Horowitz report is coming, and hell’s coming with it America.

That is all.

Trump Should Fire Mueller and Rosenstein to Save the Country

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Yesterday, I wrote about the fascists coming out into full view over in London.  A few hours after I posted that piece, the fascists came out into full view in America, too, as the FBI raided the home, office and even hotel room of long-time Trump personal attorney Michael Cohen, based on a referral from – guess who? – Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his band of merry Clinton/Obama sycophants.

The fake news media of course immediately knee-jerked to the assumption that the raid was solely designed to seize any documents related to porn star Stormy Daniels, so that they would all have an excuse to show more photos and tapes of porn star Stormy Daniels.  Because that’s what the fake news media does.

Cohen, after all, is the Trump lawyer who executed the non-disclosure agreement with the porn star and wrote her a personal check for $130,000 as a part of that.  Allegedly as a part of that transaction, he reportedly took out a second loan on his house, and supposedly Mueller and the New York U.S. attorney who is also involved are looking at possible bank fraud related to that loan, i.e., did Cohen misrepresent the reasons for taking the loan to the bank that loaned him the money.

However, as the afternoon and evening progressed, it eventually became clear through the fake news fog that the raids were more about Cohen’s interactions early in the 2016 campaign with an anti-Russian Ukrainian businessman named Victor Pinchuk.  Pinchuk apparently contributed $150,000 to the Trump Foundation after Trump had delivered a 20-minute speech condemning Russia’s actions towards Ukraine in 2015, and Mueller is investigating whether or not Cohen violated any campaign laws in soliciting that contribution.

Ironically, of course, the Special Counsel whose ostensible job was to investigate whether the Trump campaign had coordinated with Russia to influence the election is now focused on the campaign’s supposed interactions with a Ukranian who hates Russia.  Even more ironically, Mr. Pinchuk’s foundation gave more than $8 million to the Clinton Crime Family Fake Foundation while the Pantsuit Princess was Secretary of State, a situation that Mr. Mueller is spending exactly zero time looking into.

So once again we see Mr. Mueller ranging wildly outside the supposed reason for his appointment, and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who made the appointment, exercising absolutely no oversight whatsoever to rein his attack dog in.  Worse, Rosenstein signed off on the conduct of yesterday’s raids in advance.

Making matters even more repugnant, many of the seized documents would normally fall under the attorney/client privilege, but the FBI/DOJ thugs have a way around even that now-dead stricture of law.  Supposedly, there will be a “separate team” of FBI agents who will review all the documents for potential privilege, and who will only turn over the non-privileged documents to the prosecutors.  If any of you really believe that such a process protecting the client (the sitting President of the United States) is actually going to take place, I have some wonderful lake front property in the Mojave Desert I’d like talk with you about.

The FBI has clearly demonstrated over the last half-decade that it simply cannot be trusted, and that it is willing to engage in any abuse of law or citizens’ rights in order to protect itself.  The timing of this raid could not be more blatant in that regard, coming as it does just one day after Attorney General Jeff Sessions appointed Chicago U.S. Attorney John Lausch to oversee the FBI’s document production to various congressional committees that the agency has been stonewalling.

For Mueller, yesterday was all about regaining control of the narrative, which has gotten away from him as his “Russia Collusion” fantasy play has fallen apart.  What better way to do that than to send the FBI in to very publicly abuse a high profile witness who has been completely cooperating with his investigation for months?

Early this morning, President Trump issued the following pair of tweets:

After yesterday’s sad events, it’s pretty hard to argue with either sentiment.

With nothing real to show for his “Russia Collusion” fantasy after almost a year, and facing the real possibility of going down in history as a failure, some are theorizing that Mueller actually wants the President to fire him in order to produce a constitutional crisis that might convince the establishment Republicans in congress to impeach Mr. Trump.

If that’s Mueller’s game plan, perhaps the time has come for President Trump to accommodate him and let the chips fall where they may.   Rosenstein needs to go as well, and if Sessions and Inspector General Michael Horowitz don’t produce the long-long-long- delayed IG report in the coming days, the President might as well go full-on Saturday Night Massacre and can them all.

Because the fact is that the DOJ and FBI are completely out of control at this point, and remain the active enemies of the rights of all Americans that they became during the Obama years, after 15 months of new governance.  That is a situation that cannot be allowed to continue.

Just another day in the Justice Department is a danger to all of us America.

That is all.

The Mueller Coup d’etat Unwinds a Little More

  • Heck, I didn’t know he’d gone anywhere. – The UK Metro is reporting this morning that the “comeback album” for white rapper Eminem – the natural inheritor of the proud legacy of the great Vanilla Ice (ok, I’m JK) – is not being well-received by what I have no doubt is his legion of fans.  The British writer says that the collection of what I guess are ‘songs’ is getting “quite a whammy of negative comments.”  And that just breaks my heart.  Can you tell?
  • I had no idea you could take the over/under bet on whether or not we go to war. – Senator Lindsey Graham is apparently angling for a future career as a Las Vegas bookmaker.  “I would say there’s a three in 10 chance we use the military option,” Graham predicted in an interview with a fake reporter at The Atlantic. If the North Koreans conduct an additional test of a nuclear bomb—their seventh—“I would say 70 percent.”  So, if any of you are out in Vegas this weekend, put $100 down for me on the under.  I’ll pay you back.  No, really, seriously, I’m good for it.
  • Is there an over/under on the Mueller Investigation ever finding any evidence of actual “collusion”? – The slow-rolling coup d’etat led by Robert Mueller continued its unraveling on Thursday, as Senate Homeland Security Committee Chairman Ron Johnson (R-WI) released documents showing that the statement given by former FBI Director James Comey in July 2016, which “exonerated” Princess Pantsuit of wrongdoing in her blatantly illegal emailing activities was heavily edited.  More to the point, it was heavily edited and watered down during early May, two full months before Comey had even bothered to interview the Coughing Crook or about a dozen other key witnesses in the case.
  • The original text of the memo, written by Comey himself, states several times that the Fainting Felon was guilty of “gross negligence” in her handling of classified emails.  That’s important because, in the federal statutes, “gross negligence” in handling classified information happens to be a crime.  But the edits watered that charge down to “extreme carelessness”, to which the governing federal statues make no reference.  Voila!, the Cackling Candidate was magically exonerated.
  • The revelation of this editing process within a highly-politicized FBI does deep damage to the already tattered reputation of James Comey, who just happens to be a key witness in the Mueller witch hunt.  After all, the entire basis used by the oily Rod Rosenstein for the appointment of Mueller in the first place was Comey’s illegal leaking of his meeting notes to the New York Times for publication.  If Comey lied to the American people about what he had found during the Clinton investigation and when he found it, and lied to multiple congressional committees during testimony on the same subject matter, why would anyone believe anything else he has to say?  The man is obviously a skunk and a snake, the very worst kind of DC Swamp creature, which I told you all he was back in July 2016.
  • Coming as it does on the heels of so many other revelations this week about various players in the Mueller coup d’etat staff, even some hardcore Democrats are starting to come to the realization that Mueller’s own credibility has been irrevocably damaged.  One such hardcore Democrat is Mark Penn, who served as the head pollster for Bill Clinton, and also worked on Princess Pantsuit’s senate campaign.
  • Appearing on Fox News last night, Penn told host Martha MacCallum that he believes both Mueller and the FBI face a “crisis in public confidence.”  Penn cited a recent poll conducted by Harvard in which 54% of respondents agreed that Mueller himself has conflicts of interest that prevent him from conducting himself fairly, and a whopping 63% believe the FBI is stonewalling congress.  He also noted that this poll was conducted before this week’s flood of new revelations about the horrific behavior of FBI super agent Peter Strzok and various other players on the Mueller coup staff.
  • Folks, our country is in a major crisis.  It is in that crisis because the utterly corrupted leadership at the FBI and various intelligence agencies during the Obama Administration set themselves up as a de facto fourth branch of government, a branch unaccountable to anyone.  The evidence we now have at hand clearly shows that, early in 2016, that fourth branch engaged itself in a focused conspiracy in coordination with the Clinton Campaign and the DNC to try to deny Donald Trump the presidency.  After Trump won the election last November, that conspiracy morphed into a focused  effort to undermine him and to ultimately remove him from office.
  • The Harvard poll cited by Mr. Penn shows that, despite the best efforts of the fake news media to avoid reporting these realities, a clear majority of Americans have begun to figure this all out.  This is a big problem for Mr. Rosenstein and Mr. Mueller, because the flood of revelations isn’t going to slow down anytime soon,  and they really haven’t left themselves any easy way to end the conspiracy they’ve been leading without their own culpability being fully revealed.
  • The next few months are going to be a very interesting and perilous time for our country.  Better buckle up.

Just another day in the Coup keeps unwinding America.

That is all.
