What to Expect as the Mueller Witch Hunt Comes to a Blessed End

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Man, no one could have seen this coming. Oh, wait…. – Way back in September, the Campaign Update informed its loyal readers (thanks to all of you) that the signs were obvious that Gestapo Chief…er, “Special Counsel” Robert Mueller was systematically going about the process of wrapping things up. We speculated at the time that it would likely take several months for Mueller to complete the process, given that he he likely still had more ham sandwich indictments to pursue, was still at the time hoping to personally interview President Donald Trump, and would want to give his team of loyal Clinton/Obama hacks plenty of time to secure other employment.

Well, it turns out that that process is going to end up taking right at six months, at least if all the fake news media reports out there this morning are to be believed. Yes, it’s your basic crap shoot, given that the first outlet to report the story was CNN, and given that CNN’s report is based only on “people familiar with the plans,” but it seems likely that this is the rare occasion that the fake news network is getting something right.

There are several reasons that this timing would make sense:

First, as mentioned above, it has been obvious for six months that Mueller has been working on wrapping things up, despite all the fake media reporting and Democrat wishful thinking to the contrary;

Second, Tuesday’s announcement that oily Rod Rosenstein would be leaving the DOJ in early-to-mid-March means that Mueller’s days are certainly numbered in any event;

Third, the assumption of office on Tuesday by William Barr, President Trump’s first real Attorney General who isn’t stupidly and needlessly recused from a damn thing means that there is a new sheriff in town looking over Mueller’s corrupt shoulder, and he most likely doesn’t much care for what he’s seeing.

So, Mueller is no doubt feverishly working to finish up whatever “report” he’s been working on and will in all likelihood send it over to Mr. Barr next week, if not sooner.

When that happens, Barr is under no obligation whatsoever to issue any summary of the report, or indeed make a single word from Mueller’s work public. During his confirmation hearing, Barr did semi-commit to making some sort of “summary of findings” public, but he has no legal obligation to do so, and that can take any form he deems appropriate. It is his job and his job alone to make that decision.

Regardless of what Barr decides to do with Mueller’s “report,” we should expect to see a series of utterly false reports published by the Usual Suspects in the fake news media – can you say New York Times and Washington Post and CNN and MSNBC? – containing all manner of wild allegations targeting President Trump, based purely on anonymous sources. Because that is what our fake news media does.

We can also expect Democrats in congress and/or running for president to make their own wild claims, because that is what they do, too. They’re all reciting from the same narrative the media is using, after all.

But in the end, Mueller will still be holding a big, smelly bag of nothing where President Trump is concerned. There is no “Russia collusion” and there never was.

The best news about Mueller wrapping his nonsense up is that DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz will now be free to issue his own report on his two-year investigation into the rampant abuse of the FISA process committed by the Deep State cabal that operated within the DOJ and FBI throughout 2016 and much of 2017. Horowitz has been delaying his own report, waiting on Mueller to finish.

Now that we have a real attorney general governing this process instead of Rosenstein, perhaps Mr. Horowitz will be free to issue his real findings this time, and not the watered-down slop that characterized his report last year on the Clinton email scandal.

Wouldn’t that be a welcome change?  We can only hope.

Words alone cannot describe the pure awesomeness of this Twitter meme… – you just have to watch it for yourself. (Warning – it’s your basic PG-13 video):

That is all.

The Commie is in, Oily Rod is Out, Kamala is Confused – the Clown Show Never Ends

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

In the future you might want to read your own Twitter feed, Senator. – Trust me on this, you do not want to be the staffer who runs Kamala Harris’s Twitter feed today. At a campaign event in New Hampshire, the not-ready-for-prime-time presidential candidate was asked an actual question by a non-CNN reporter who wasn’t interested in helping her try on clothes, and mass stammering and dissembling ensued:

Many observers marveled that she didn’t have a ready answer to this exact question, given her absurd knee-jerk reaction to the first reports about Smollett’s obvious hoax, in which she tweeted in part that it was “a modern-day lynching.”

Well, that statement appeared on her Twitter account, anyway. But the obvious answer here is that Harris does not run her own Twitter feed, and her staff had failed to inform her about the idiotic and inflammatory nonsense they’ve been posting there.  Thus, when this question came up, Harris had no earthly idea what the reporter was referring to. The issue here is not about Harris having a bad memory about something she tweeted; the issue is about her staff who actually wrote and posted the tweet not having sense enough to brief her about the stupid sh*t they’ve been saying on her Twitter account.

Seems like a management problem to me, and managing staff is one of any president’s most important tasks. Not a great start.

Hey, the Commie’s running again – isn’t life grand? – In case you missed it because your fake news media mavens are too busy talking about the fall of their favorite “Empire” role-player, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders will kick off his 2020 campaign to secure the Democrat Party’s presidential nomination by promising all sorts of free stuff to young people with lots of student loan debt today. So, the old Bolshevik is making another run at nationalizing all of your assets and doling them out to people who vote for him, keeping a healthy skim off the top like all good Commies do.

Bernie’s problem this time will be one of figuring out a way to stand out from the crowd. In 2016 he was just running against this crazy life-long grifter in a pantsuit who kept coughing and fainting and lying about her illegal email server. This time he’ll find himself in the midst of a field filled with younger fellow commies who are all doing their dead-level best to run even further to the political left than your ordinary, every day commie. Oh, and Joe Biden will be running, too.

The problem is, if you’re Bernie Sanders, how do you get even further to the left than you already are? He’s already out there for $6 to $10 trillion to forgive all those outstanding student loans (dammit, sure wish I hadn’t already paid mine back!), $40 trillion for his “Medicare for All” scheme, and $100 trillion for the hare-brained “Green New Deal” nightmare. As the great Margaret Thatcher famously said, “the problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money” to steal, and that applies even in a country as wealthy as the United States.

But hey, Bernie’s just another Democrat – yes, yes, I know he pretends to be an “independent” but I’m trying to be honest here – who is appealing to voters who can’t be bothered with references to reality or have their brainwashed minds be distracted by facts. And that makes him little different than Kamala Harris, Corey Booker, Kirsten Gillibrand or any of the other two dozen or so competitors who will ultimately be in this clown car race.

But, for better or worse, the Commie’s in! Let the Bolshevik games begin!

As the Commie jumps in, Oily Rod plans his exit. – The news fakers at CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times and the Washington Post are all down in the mouth this morning over reports that our perpetually oily Deputy Attorney General, Rod Rosenstein, is planning to leave his post by mid-March. Your fake reporters and fake talking heads are all depressed because of the assumption that this likely means that Gestapo Chief, er, “Special Counsel” Robert Mueller will also be wrapping up his fake investigation at the same time.

Rosenstein, seeing the handwriting on the wall, announced back in late January that he would voluntarily step down shortly after new Attorney General William Barr was confirmed and had assumed office, an event that happens today. Multiple reports citing sources out of the Justice Department indicate that Mueller, with the exit of his utterly corrupt over-seer, is planning to shut his failed coup attempt down at the same time.

Now, America will get to see whether Mr. Barr is a well-intentioned patriot intent on doing what he can to restore a one-tiered system of justice in our country, or just another Deep State thug who will perpetuate the thinly-veiled cover-up of all the crimes committed against the Trump Campaign and Trump Administration by the Comey/Rosenstein/McCabe-led cabal that operated within the DOJ and FBI throughout 2016 and well into 2017.

Our country has seen enough of the McCabes, Comeys and Strzoks being fired and allowed to walk around shooting their mouths off and making millions writing books and giving speeches while no one at DOJ makes any effort to hold them accountable for their roles in the outright coup d’etat attempt they created and managed. Neither Jeff Sessions nor Matthew Whitaker seemed interested in lifting a finger to correct this unjust situation.

Barr has an opportunity to change all of that, starting today. But the most disturbing thing about Barr is that those who know him keep describing him as this “stand-up guy”, an “old pro” with an “unimpeachable character.”

You know, the exact same things we were all told about Robert Mueller back in 2017.

So if you’re expecting some sort of swift action to bring all of these Deep State skunks and snakes to justice now that Barr’s in office, well, a healthy dose of skepticism appears to be in order here.

It’s like my Dad used to always respond whenever I’d say “I wish” something would happen: You can wish in one hand and spit in the other and see which one fills up faster.

That is all.

Face it: Obama’s DOJ and FBI Were Criminal Enterprises

The Afternoon Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

If you thought the winding down of the fake, failed “investigations” by Robert Mueller and the Senate Intelligence Committee would lead to a similar winding down of efforts by your fake news media outlets to keep the whole “Russia Collusion” fantasy play alive, well, think again.

If anything, the various fake news media outlets have actually begun doubling down on their news-faking enterprises in recent days. CBS is leading the way today with the release of outtakes from the powder puff interview set to air on “60 Minutes” Sunday evening with deep state skunk Andrew McCabe. You all remember McCabe, right? He’s the ex-Deputy Director of the FBI who was fired about year ago for repeatedly lying to internal DOJ investigators about his habit of illegally leaking classified information to various fake media outlets.

See how this incestuous relationship works? Think CBS will make the slightest effort delve into that glaring conflict of interest during this interview? Want to buy some oceanfront property I own out in Central Texas? The potential questions here are endless, but none of them will be asked by “60 Minutes”.

Note the headline on the CBS piece linked above, because it is very important:  “McCabe says he ordered the obstruction of justice probe of President Trump”. That very admission proves that President Donald Trump inherited upper echelons at the FBI and Department of Justice that were in fact criminal enterprises.

As Mollie Hemingway, writing at The Federalist, pointed out in January, a butt-covering piece dumped out by the news fakers at the New York Times late on Friday, January 18 basically admitted as much:

“Admitting there is no actual evidence for their probe into whether Trump ‘worked for the Russians,’ FBI officials instead cited their foreign policy differences with him, his lawful firing of bungling FBI Director James Comey, and alarm that he accurately revealed to the American public that he was told he wasn’t under investigation by the FBI, when they preferred to hide that fact.”

In that same piece, Hemingway further pointed out that CNN had also made damaging admissions about the traitorous motivations of McCabe and his fellow FBI cronies:

Just last month [December, 2018], CNN reported that top FBI officials opened an investigation into Trump after the lawful firing of Comey because Trump “needed to be reined in,” a shocking admission of abuse of power by our nation’s top law enforcement agency.

In other words, your Federal Bureau of Investigation, on orders from Andrew McCabe, engaged in an “obstruction of justice” investigation in retaliation for President Trump’s legal and well-justified firing of the utterly corrupt and incompetent FBI Director James Comey.

But McCabe is not the only traitorous skunk in this drama. It is also vitally important that everyone keep in mind that he was at the time working under the full supervision of then-Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, because the worthless AG Jeff Sessions had stupidly and needlessly recused himself.  Rosenstein not only fully approved of McCabe’s retaliatory act, he also allegedly offered to wear a wire in meetings with the duly-elected President of the United States of America in order to try to build a case for either impeachment or removing him from office under the guise of the 25th Amendment.

Even worse, when reports of the DOJ/FBI criminal enterprise began to leak out in the spring of 2017, Rosenstein then acted in concert with the fired Comey to dummy-up (through Comey’s illegal leaks to the very cooperative news-fakers at the New York Times) the very thin justification he used for the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Mueller, whose best buddies in life turn out to be – wait for it – Rod Rosenstein and James Comey!

Breathtaking.

When honest historians catalog the events of the past two years, they will record that, when Donald Trump assumed the office of the presidency on January 20, 2017, he was faced with a cabal of outright criminals in the upper management of both the DOJ and the FBI who were conspiring with willing media outlets to take him down. That is of course assuming that any such thing as an “honest historian”, already an endangered species, still exists in our country decades from now.

In the meantime, it appears that pretty much all of the participants in this Deep State cabal have been fired or otherwise removed from any line of authority.  The lone exception is Rosenstein, who announced last month his plans to leave shortly after William Barr assumes the Attorney General’s office, which will happen in a matter of days.

But firings and resignations aren’t enough: The ultimate restoration of an impartial, one-tiered system of justice in our country requires that the bad actors in this criminal conspiracy to bring down a presidency be prosecuted and punished.

We can only hope Mr. Barr is up to the task.

That is all.

Trump Lowers the Boom on Sessions Even Before the Votes Were Counted

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Hey, guess who’s back? – Anitfa, which is nothing more than the militant arm of the Democrat Party, had had its activities suspended in the run-up to the election, probably on orders from Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi.  Now that the election has come and gone, orders have gone out for this bunch of brain-dead cretins to resume their previous assaults around the country.  Isn’t that great?

So, last night, a group of them assembled on the front yard of Fox News host Tucker Carlson and chanted threats at him and his family – which includes small children – for an hour or so. Such admirable people.  Never forget that they are bought and paid for by the Democrat Party. We have to stop letting the politicians off the hook for this anti-American nonsense.

Speaking of leftist radicals assaulting innocent people… – CNN Democrat activist with a press pass Jim Acosta doesn’t have his press pass anymore.  At least from the White House, which revoked the fake reporter’s press badge after he made a complete ass of himself at a Presidential press conference Wednesday morning, and assaulted a young female White House intern in the process.

The intern, who was just trying to do her job after President Trump instructed her to take the microphone from Acosta, received an Austin Powers-caliber karate chop from Acosta for her troubles.  Were Acosta a reporter for a conservative news outlet, the #MeToo gang would have descended on him like a pack of hyenas, but because he works for CNN, there has been radio silence from that corner of the liberal universe.

CNN, meanwhile, spent much of the rest of its day lying to its audience with carefully-edited video that had Acosta’s assault removed out of it.  Because, of course they did.

But it’s not just Acosta – there is a larger problem here. If you watched that press conference – where the President spent well over an hour fielding 68 mostly-hostile questions from 35 fake reporters – you saw a security problem. With only a few exceptions, you saw a group of at least 60 individuals who literally hate the man they were interviewing. These are people who are enemies of the White House – they are there doing nothing but attempting to damage this presidency. They are agents for the opposition, Democrat activists with press passes, nothing more.

I’ve argued for more than a year and a half now that the White House should end the thing called the “White House press corps”, and deny them access to the White House grounds for security reasons. It is only a matter of time before one of these preening, entitled peacocks goes completely off the hook and assaults Sarah Sanders or even the President.

Any president of either party has an obligation to keep the public informed of his actions and the actions of his Administration, and in today’s age of miraculous technology there are myriad means of getting that done. No president has the slightest obligation to allow a pack of agents for the opposition to have unfettered access to the White House grounds on a daily basis. That’s actually an act of insanity.

Suspending Acosta’s press badge is a good start, but that is all it is. Sadly, the action will probably be reversed today, and the insanity will continue until somebody really gets hurt.

Well, that didn’t take long. – Less than an hour after his meeting with the “press” had concluded, President Donald Trump fired Attorney General Jeff Sessions. This is no surprise, although no one had expected it to happen before all the votes from the mid-terms had been counted. Now we will see if Mr. Trump can hire someone into the job who actually wants to do it. Sessions, sadly, obviously didn’t.

Sessions’ Chief of Staff, former U.S. Attorney Matthew Whitaker, will become acting Attorney General until a permanent replacement is nominated and confirmed by the Senate. Whitaker also now assumes oversight of Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his merry gang of Clinton/Obama hacks. This is interesting, since Whitaker has been publicly outspoken in his belief that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has been negligent in his duty to ensure Mueller remained focused on the supposed scope of his investigation, rather than going off on all sorts of tangents as Mueller has clearly done.

Democrats and their agents in the fake news media naturally reacted with joint talking points that would make ordinary citizens believe that, once appointed, a Special Counsel has a lifetime appointment with unlimited scope and powers, because of course they did. Lying is what these people do for a living, after all. New York Congressman Jerrold Nadler, who will become the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee in the new congress come January, threatened to impeach the President should he make a move to fire Mueller, as did Chuck Schumer and other Democrats.

The President is not going to fire Robert Mueller. That’s not going to happen. Mueller has in fact clearly been in the process of winding his operation down over the past few months, and will most likely be issuing a final report sometime in the coming weeks.

On the other hand, the President probably is going to fire Rosenstein, who is clearly a deep state functionary, and we should expect that to happen quite soon, maybe before the week is out. We should also expect the President to declassify a whole raft of key documents once that firing has been carried out. We should then expect the declassification of those documents to lead to a major, final house-cleaning at the Department of Justice, where more than 25 deep state players have already been removed over the past year.

After all of that has happened, prosecutions will finally begin.  That is how this is all probably going to go, and no set of joint talking points recited by Democrats and their fake news media agents is going to stop it.

That is all.

The Week in Review: A Week of Democrat/Media Narrative Epic Fails

The Campaign Update Week in Review

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Every week in American politics is different.  They all have their ebbs and flows, their dramas, their comedies, their pratfalls and their tragedies.

Typically, they all have their own narratives, the overriding major story or stories that our fake news media conspire with the Democrat Party to push into the public domain for political advantage.  Sometimes, a single narrative dominates the entire week – as happened a few weeks ago with the whole Kavanaugh drama.  Most of them end up being ineffective, although a few end up having legs, and at the end of most weeks you can typically look back and identify one that served as the overriding Democrat/media theme for that 7-day period.

But not this week.  This week is different.  This week, there was no single overriding narrative that any normal American paid special attention to.

The Khashoggi murder at the Saudi consulate in Turkey came closest – it lasted the whole week, and the media obsessed over it for sure.  But at the end of the day, very few normal Americans actually cared what happened to this radical Islamic, Muslim Brotherhood-pushing opinion writer.  It was an utterly failed narrative, but because Khashoggi was a fellow fake journalist, the U.S. media couldn’t stop pushing it.

But hey, whether the narratives are effective or not, the one thing we know for sure about our hated fake news media is that they will keep on pushing them on behalf of their Democrat masters, because they’ve been doing it for so long now, they don’t know how to do anything else.

And now, without further ado, let’s go to the Week in Review (see what I did there?):

It was the week that Democrats hired a bunch of crisis actors to form a “migrant caravan” that amazingly consists of about 80% military-age males (see photo below) to make its way up through Honduras, Guatemala and Mexico to conveniently arrive at the Rio Grande a few days before Election Day.  Thanks to the intervention of President Donald Trump, the “caravan” was halted at Mexico’s southern border.  As of this morning, half of the original 4,000 are on their way back to Honduras and the other half are in a Mexican detention camp.

It was the week that the fake news media finally began admitting what the Campaign Update has been telling you for several weeks, which is that Special Counsel Robert Mueller is systematically closing up his shop.  The newsfakers at Politico ran a piece on Friday titled “Mueller Report PSA:  Prepare for Disappointment”.  The subhead reads “And be forewarned that the special counsel’s findings may never be made public.”  Campaign Update readers knew all of that a week ago.

Speaking of Democrat disappointment, it was the week that the fake news media and pollsters who have been pushing their “Blue Wave” fantasy for a year suddenly began getting cold feet and speculating about what will happen if the Republicans maintain control of both houses of congress again?  Go figure.

It was the week that the Pantsuit Princess let it be known she is contemplating running yet again in 2020 and many Democrat Party leaders contemplated slitting their own wrists.

It was the week that our fake news media demonstrated that it cares infinitely more about the murder of an obscure Saudi national opinion writer than it cared about the following killings of actual Americans:

– Kate Steinle

– Seth Rich

– Benghazi

– Vince Foster

– Mary Mahoney

– James McDougal

– Ed Willey

– Ron Brown

– Mollie Tibbetts

…and this list could go on and on and on.  And these fake “journalists” wonder why so many millions of Americans detest them.

It was the week that Mitch McConnell and his wife were accosted by a Democrat thug in a cafe in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.  Rather than just sit and watch like a bunch of Washington D.C. slugs, McConnell’s fellow diners got pissed and ran the thug out of the place.  That’s what happens when you try to pull crap like this out here in Flyover Country, boys.  If you pull a stunt like that in Texas, you’ll probably end up in an emergency room.

It was the week when Elizabeth Warren became so enraged with President Trump and his constant “Pocahontas” taunts about her fake Indian heritage that she took a damn DNA test and proved herself to be 1/1,024th “right”.  The hilarity that ensued with meme after meme after meme on social media was comedic gold, I tell ya, gold!

It was the week that Christine Blasey Ford disappeared completely from the public conversation, as the Democrat Party has no further use for her.  The same thing will happen to all those crisis actors down in Mexico at midnight on Election Day.

Speaking of disappearing Democrat tools, it was also the week that the Creepy Porn Lawyer disappeared from the public space.  Presumably all those dimwits at CNN and MSNBC who gave money to Stormy Daniels’ GoFundMe account are a little ticked that their money will now actually go to reimburse President Trump for his legal expenses after the porn star and her creepy lawyer got poured out of court last week.

It was the week that oily Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein had several hours to spend being interviewed by the Wall Street Journal, but couldn’t find the time to offer testimony to congress.  When Rosenstein finally agreed to testify next week, he demanded the testimony take place in secret in a secure location, and with only 2 Republicans and 2 Democrats present.

It was the week that a husband and wife pair of nitwits in Katy, Texas decided it would be a peachy idea to paint a huge, 20′ x 20′ “Beto” sign on their front lawn, and then expressed great confusion about why their neighborhood HOA is irritated with them.  I swear I don’t make this stuff up.

Finally, it was the week when the President of the United States of America sent out this hilarious message on his Twitter account:

Funny, but oh, so true.

That is all.

Trump Speaks the Truth, Media Goes Nuts, Dog Bites Man

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

When the President speaks the truth, the fake news media gets a huge case of the vapors.:  President Donald Trump (I never tire of typing those three glorious words) had this to say at the formal swearing-in ceremony for new Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh last night:

“On behalf of our nation, I want to apologize to Brett and the entire Kavanaugh family for the terrible pain and suffering you have been forced to endure,” Trump began. “Those who step forward to serve our country deserve a fair and dignified evaluation, not a campaign of political and personal destruction based on lies and deception. What happened to the Kavanaugh family violates every notion of fairness, decency, and due process. In our country, a man or a woman must always be presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.”

Naturally, given that none of our fake news outlets in the national #fakenews establishment media reported on any of the myriad outright lies told by Christine Ford in her smear of Justice Kavanaugh, they all cranked up their outrage machines immediately after the President made his remarks.  They must keep up the narrative they’ve established, after all.  Some things never change.

This is a learning moment.  Many of you who don’t really “get” Donald Trump wonder why he felt the need to make what you perceive to be such “combative” remarks last night, or why he chose to go after Ford’s obvious lying at his rally event in Tennessee last week.  Well, to understand why, just observe how the fake news media reacted to it, and how they uniformly covered for Ms. Ford throughout the entire weeks-long process.

Readers of the Campaign Update are extremely smart and oh-so-attractive people, the literal cream at the top of our society’s milkshake.  So you are exceedingly well-informed.  But millions of other Americans are not so lucky.  Tens of millions of our brethren and sistren (if we are allowed to even say that anymore under our new zillion-fake gender rules our fake media have helped establish) are not so lucky.  To the extent they consume “news”, these Americans get it from fake places like ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, the New York Times, the Washington Post and other big city newspapers who today get 95% of their content from one of those other outlets or the very biased Associated Press.

Thus, before the President went off on Ms. Ford last week, those millions of Americans had never heard a thing about the massive holes in her testimony or the outright lies she leveled against a man who had been through 6 prior exhaustive FBI background checks without so much as a jaywalking incident showing up on his record.  There were still millions of people treading water in that pool of fake media-fed ignorance last night.

So the President had two opportunities during which he was speaking live to at least some portion of the American public, and he took those opportunities to tell the truth to the American people.  Which of course is an act that always scandalizes a fake news media establishment whose overriding goal in life is to avoid the truth at all costs in favor of the Democrat Party’s preferred narrative.

Gosh, nobody could’ve seen this one coming…oh, wait…:

I’ve gotten quite a few notes again in the past week asking what I’m thinking about the outcome of the midterms.  Honestly, my outlook hasn’t changed since January:  The Democrats will gain 10-15 net seats in the House, but not get to a majority, and the Republicans will gain 4-5 net seats in the Senate.  And right on cue, the same pollsters who were chanting “blue wave, blue wave, blue wave” back in January are now starting to sound the alarm to their favored Democrats that gosh, maybe, just maybe, that might not all be coming about for them.

If this pattern sounds familiar, I refer you back to the 2016 elections, in which we saw the exact same pattern take place.

Because, as we discussed here a few weeks back, neither the media or the pollsters have figured out exactly who the “Trump voters” are, and have real no desire to do so.

Oh, hey, isn’t that the guy the fake news media all told us was getting fired two weeks ago? – Why yes, yes, it was.  It was Rod Rosenstein, our perpetually oily Deputy Attorney General, not only still in his job but climbing up the steps to board Air Force One along with Chief of Staff John Kelly.  That’s right – the very same John Kelly to whom your fake news media assured you Rosenstein was headed over to the White House to hand his formal resignation (in order to spare himself the indignity of being fired) two weeks ago today.

At an impromptu press conference earlier in the day, President Trump appeared to put to rest any thought that Rosenstein was about to be fired, telling reporters “We actually get along. I’m not making any changes. You’d be the first to know.”

So, what’s going on here?  Why is the President seemingly protecting the guy who conspired with James Comey to set their big buddy Robert Mueller up as Special Counsel last year?  I think the obvious answer is that the President now has Rosenstein right where he wants him.

Think about it:  What has been happening the last few weeks?  The systematic winding down of the Mueller investigation.  Why is that happening?  Well, the obvious answer is that, other than a tax fraud case from a decade ago against Paul Manafort and several process crimes that have nothing to do with the Special Counsel’s supposed focus on the Democrat/media-invented “Russia Collusion” fantasy, there is no “there” there.

But there is a second big answer that is becoming increasingly apparent with each passing day:  Rosenstein and Mueller really, really, really, REALLY do not want the FISA-related documents the President ordered to be declassified three weeks ago to be made public.  I keep reading some conservative writers speculating that Rosenstein is opposing the declassification effort to “protect the institutions”, i.e., the DOJ and the FBI, which would no doubt be embarrassed by the full revelation of the crimes that were being committed in obtaining those fraudulent FISA warrants to spy on the Trump Campaign, the Trump Transition Team, and the Trump presidency.

But at this point it seems more and more obvious that Rosenstein isn’t just protecting his institutions, he’s protecting himself.  After all, he affixed his signature to at least one of those four FISA warrants, a reality that keeps somehow getting lost in the “reporting” that goes on in our fake news media.

At this point, after having the first 21 months of his Administration being held hostage to the dark cloud of all these false allegations, I think President Trump would be perfectly happy to keep Rosenstein in place until Mueller has wrapped up his Spanish Inquisition-style “investigation”, and wait until the mid-term elections have come and gone before taking final action to clean out the participants in the anti-Trump cabal who remain at DOJ and the FBI even today.

So, when the President says that he and Rosenstein “get along” just fine these days, you should believe him.  Because when Donald Trump says he’s getting along just fine with someone, that means he’s getting along with that person on his own terms.

You don’t have to believe me on that – you can go read his book.

That is all.

The Participants in the Kavanaugh Smear Must be Punished

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Hey, remember 8 days ago, when Rod Rosenstein was going to be fired?  When he had resigned?  When he had, according to our fake news media, verbally resigned no fewer than five times?  Yeah, those were good times, huh?

Hey, remember when President Trump ordered the declassification of a bunch of documents that have been requested various congressional committees and stonewalled for more than a year by the DOJ and the FBI?  That was, like, 3 weeks ago?  Right?

Hey, remember when every liberal/leftist/socialist/commie in America was telling us that, if you criticize the FBI, you’re committing, like, treason or something?  Yeah, what was that – last month?

Hey, remember when everybody in Washington, DC and your fake news media was telling you how oh, so credible and stuff Ms. Christine Ford was?  That was last Thursday, 6 short days ago.

As of this morning, Ms. Ford’s fairy tale has fallen completely apart.  It turns out that, not only is there no one out there who can verify a single shred of it, but there are people out there who have been able to completely debunk pretty much all of it.  It turns out that Ms. Ford is not just a fabricator, but, if what her former boyfriend attests to in a sworn statement supplied yesterday to the Senate Judiciary Committee, she may even be a bit of a pro at it:

Oh, my.  Oh, my, my, my.  During her testimony, Ms. Ford was asked not once, but three times if she had ever coached anyone about how to take a polygraph test, and every time she replied either “no” or “never.”

Here are other aspects of her story we now know to be completely untrue:

  • She outright lied several times about her interactions with despicable Sen. Dianne Feinstein and her staff.
  • She claimed to have added a new room and second exit to her home in 2012, because of her “claustrophobia” or something.  California records prove that that room and exit were actually added in 2008, and the space was subsequently used for an office and was even rented out to others from time to time.
  • She claimed to have a terrible fear of flying and held up the work of the Judiciary Committee for an entire week using this excuse.  We now know she is in fact a world traveler who flies all the time.
  • She claimed her polygraph test taken in August was very intrusive with the ex-FBI agent who conducted it asking her endless questions about her entire life.  The ex-agent himself says he asked her two questions.
  • She claimed she had no knowledge of the Committee’s offer to fly staff out to California to interview her when she lied about her fear of flying.  Either she or her scumbag lawyers are lying about that.

Speaking of her scumbag lawyers:  Despite all this now-public knowledge about these and other apparent lies Ms. Ford emitted last Thursday in her feigned, trembly 12 year-old valley girl voice, those lawyers sent an angry letter over to Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley last night demanding that their client be interviewed by the FBI yet again before its investigation is shut down:

This is breathtaking malpractice.  It isn’t enough that her testimony has been demonstrated to contain multiple fabrications or that it does not line up with the letter she sent to Senator Feinstein; Now, her own lawyers want her to be formally interviewed by the FBI, creating yet another opportunity for her to perjure herself?

Whatever else happens as this disgusting confirmation fiasco created by the Democrats and their toadies in the fake news media, this behavior must be punished.  All three women who have blatantly, shamelessly lied about Judge Kavanaugh and all of their lawyers – including the Creepy Porn Lawyer – must be punished for putting our country through this disgrace.  Senator Feinstein and her staff should also be put through the wringer for their disgusting roles in this.

Sadly, the Republicans will most likely just confirm Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court and let it all go, because they get awful advice from their communications and political advisors, and because most of them are afraid of their own shadows.  We can hold out hope that the few who have shown actual courage through this process – like Lindsey Graham and Grassley – will force ethics investigations of Feinstein, Sen. Chris Coons, Sen. Kamala Harris and others who have obviously coordinated efforts with the accusers and various leftist radical groups, and pound on the Justice Department to pursue criminal actions against the accusers and their lawyers.  But the Republican pattern has always been just let stuff like this go once they’ve won the political battle at hand.

If that happens in this instance, it will forever be a stain on all of them.  Because this wasn’t just a dirty political fight, it is in fact a coordinated effort by the Democrats, their leftist proxy groups and their fake news media toadies to destroy a good man’s life and irrevocably corrupt the confirmation process for Supreme Court justices.  Even worse, it is an effort to forever destroy the presumption of innocence and rights of the accused guaranteed in our constitution, if the accuser is a woman and the accused is a man.  If these people walk away from this unscathed and unpunished, they will only be emboldened to do it all again in the future.

One thing we know for sure, Grassley’s Chief of Staff, Mike Davis, is sick and tired of all of it.  Here is an actual email exchange he had with the Creepy Porn Lawyer on Tuesday:

That’s just 99 varieties of awesome.  And hilarious.

That is all.

The Campaign Update Week in Review: The Democrats’ Mask Comes Off

The Evening Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Man, what a week this was.  The circus in Washington, DC reached an even higher fever-pitch than normal as the Democrat Party continues its efforts to literally destroy our nation from the inside out.

It was the week that the funeral of one of the biggest film box office stars of all-time, Burt Reynolds, received almost no notice at all from a fake news media that remains laser-focused on carrying out the orders of its Democrat benefactors.

It was a week in which the public got even more proof of the fact that a deep state cabal of DOJ/FBI Obama-era honchos tried to fix the 2016 election and then bring down a duly-elected president. As if we needed any more proof, that is.

It was the week in which President Trump finally moved to begin forcing the declassification of a raft of documents related to the deep state cabal’s activities, documents that various congressional committees have been trying to obtain for over a year.

Oh, but that’s not all that happened, not even close.  Here’s a bunch more stuff, starting with a parade of Democrat mendacity that exceeded even the Clarence Thomas hearings…

  • The Democrats told us we simply MUST “believe the woman” in the case against Brett Kavanaugh, a case in which the woman accuser has zero corroborating evidence and is, frankly, transparently lying.
  • Those same Democrats told us we simply MUST ignore the woman in the case against DNC Vice Chairman Keith Ellison, a case in which the accusing woman has all sorts of corroborating evidence because, well, Ellison’s a Democrat, so…
  • Those same Democrats also told us we simply MUST look the other way at Cory “I am Spartacus” Booker’s admission to groping a young girl at a party when he was in high school, even though he admitted it in a printed newspaper column that he himself wrote, because, um, well, you know, like, ummmm…he’s a Democrat, so…
  • Basically, by the end of the week, it had become obvious to pretty much everyone with firing brain synapses that the Democrats, as a Party, now actively oppose the Constitutional principle of a defendant’s presumption of innocence, if that defendant is a male Republican.  While many of us have recognized that reality for many years, that realization came as a real shock to many others.
  • Boy, just wait til all those people finally figure out that, as a Party, the Democrats are in fact opposed to the Constitution.  Period.  Because that’s the truth.

Oh, but it just got better where the Christine Ford allegations were concerned…

  • On Monday, Democrats were demanding – DEMANDING – that Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley schedule a special hearing at which Ms. Ford would surely love to testify.
  • By Tuesday, Democrats were wailing that the special hearing Grassley had scheduled was just tooooo soooooooooooon.
  • By Wednesday, Democrats were screaming Grassley and other Republicans were “bullying” Ms. Ford for expecting her to actually testify at the hearing that she and they had demanded.
  • By Thursday, Democrats and Ms. Ford’s lawyers were negotiating the terms under which Ms. Ford ‘might’ agree to testify.
  • By Friday, Democrats and Ms. Ford’s lawyers were reduced to claiming that Ms. Ford didn’t want to come to Washington to testify because she was like, all askeered of flying and stuff.
  • By Saturday, Sen. Grassley and Mitch McConnell still hadn’t figured out they were being totally played by the Democrats and Ms. Ford, and were still giving her extensions of time so they could continue to negotiate the terms of her appearance before the Committee, an appearance that Ms. Ford has absolutely no intention at all of making.

Sheesh.

  • Despite Grassley’s and McConnell’s cluelessness, Democrats were in panic mode by Friday, mainly because the HuffPo issued a poll that showed just 26% of those surveyed actually think Ms. Ford is “credible.”
  • So the newsfakers at the New York Times accommodated their Democrat masters by trying to change the narrative going into the weekend, issuing a story – based only on anonymous sources – claiming that Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein had proposed wearing a wire to his meetings with President Trump in mid-2017, and also proposed trying to have Trump declared unfit under the 25th Amendment.
  • Whether true or not, this narrative shift is a transparent effort by the Ds and the fake news media to provoke the President into firing Rosenstein prior to Election Day, so that the media can then portray the move as some sort of abuse of power.
  • While Rosenstein definitely needs firing – and has for a long, long time – so far, the President has avoided taking that particular bait.  After Election Day, though, all bets are off.

Lots of other stuff happened this week, too…

  • Michael Moore’s new Trump-bashing movie bombed at the box office.  Oh, darn.
  • The Emmy Awards show was filled with anti-Trump messages, and as a result received the lowest ratings in its entire history.  Gosh, no one could have seen that coming.
  • A rookie Republican candidate defeated a veteran Democrat pol in a special election in Texas Senate District 19, a heavily-Democrat district that the Coughing Crook won by 12 points in 2016.  But, Blue Wave, or something.
  • Ben and Jerry’s announced that it was introducing a “variety of Democrat-Inspired ice cream flavors.” No word if the flavors range from Blue (Wave) Berry to #MeToo Munch to PussyHatPeach to Depravity Delight, but it seems likely. Oh, goody.
  • Actor James Woods was banished from Twitter for re-tweeting a meme that makes fun of Democrat beta males, on the hysterically absurd grounds that by doing so he might “impact an election.”  By that standard, the nitwits who run Twitter would have to ban every major media outlet that serves as nothing but a propaganda mouthpiece for the Democrat Party, which is pretty much every one of them outside of Fox News.  Holy crap.

What else?  hmmmm…oh, yeah…

  • Claims for unemployment benefits fell to another 49-year low.
  • The Dow Jones Industrials closed at an all-time high level for the 100th time since Trump was elected to the presidency.
  • The economy is in fact so strong and private-sector jobs so abundant that, for the first time since 2005, the U.S. Army missed its recruiting goal for fiscal year 2018, which closes on September 30.

God Bless America.

That is all.

President Trump Drops the Mother of all Leverage Bombs as the Week Ends

The Evening Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Event #1 – The newsfakers at the New York Times suddenly decided they needed to change the overriding narrative heading into the weekend, issuing an obvious bit of #fakenews claiming – according to anonymous sources, of course – that Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein wanted to wear a wire to his meetings in mid-2017 with President Donald Trump, and also told Robert Mueller that he could recruit cabinet members to invoke the 25th Amendment as a way to remove Trump from office.  Rosenstein blasted back with an outright, unqualified denial of both claims within a few minutes of the piece’s publication, the lack of weasel words indicating that the slimy Deputy AG is actually telling the truth for once.

What does this tell us?  It tells us that the Democrats are very nervous going into this weekend with where the antics of Dianne Feinstein and Christine Ford and her army of expensive leftwing activist lawyers have led them.  Because we know for sure that the fake news media never voluntarily changes the overriding narrative if the Democrats are happy with the current one.  That just doesn’t happen.

So, why did it happen today?  My theory is that the release of a very inconvenient poll by the extreme leftwing Huffington Post this morning created a bit of a panic among Democrats, who no doubt believed they were winning this week to that point.  That poll shows that just 26% of those surveyed believe that Ms. Ford is “credible.”

Coming as it does after a full week of the most disgusting full court press of character assassination seen in a quarter of a century, and a full year of the #MeToo movement brainwashing the public that you simply must believe the woman out of hand in this sort of situation, that result has got to be an extreme shock to the Democrat system.

Event #2 – Then there were these two tweets this morning from the account of President Trump:

…and…

Dim-witted reporters all over the fake news media portrayed this as the President backing down in the face of still more stonewalling by Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray.  But I’ve been studying these tweets all day, and they look to me like a pretty impressive display of negotiating and leverage deployment on the part of Mr. Trump.

Let’s take them sentence-by-sentence because every sentence contains a directed message:

First sentence:  “I met with the DOJ concerning the declassification of various UNREDACTED documents.”  Note the emphasis on “UNREDACTED”.  Remember, the President has these documents in-hand, has known for many months exactly what these documents contain, and more importantly who they will embarrass and likely incriminate, including Rosenstein himself in all likelihood.  His threat to have them issued in unredacted form is a threat to the freedom of the Deputy AG and many others, like Comey, Strzok, Page and Brennan.

In this relationship, just as in his relationship on tariffs with Mexico, Canada, the EU and China, Trump holds all the leverage.  That sentence reminds all these skunks and snakes that he has absolute authority to release the documents in unredacted form at any time he sees fit.

Next sentence:  “They agreed to release them but stated that so doing may have a perceived negative impact on the Russia probe.”  Who do you think that sentence is directed towards?  Bob Mueller, you think?  Yes.  These deep state scumbags have held Mueller over Trump’s head as a threat for more than a year now, and Trump uses the word “perceived” to let everyone know he does not agree with that assessment and will not hesitate to move forward on his own if need be.  He also reminds Mueller that these documents will no doubt be damaging to him personally  as well as his investigation, and that it is time to move quickly to wrap things up.

Next sentence:  “Also, key Allies’ called to ask not to release.”  That would be London and Australia calling, since they know the full truth about their involvement in the 2016 spying on the Trump campaign will be extremely embarrassing.  So, Trump is reminding them of the leverage he holds on them as well, which could come in handy in some future negotiation.

Next 2 sentences:  “Therefore, the Inspector General………has been asked to review these documents on an expedited basis.” …and… “I believe he will move quickly on this (and hopefully other things which he is looking at).”  So, you agree to tuck it safely over with Michael Horowitz and pressure him to hurry up not only on getting the declass review done, but also on his final report on the whole FISA Abuse scandal, which should be close to finalized in any event.  Again, a classic application of leverage.

Next sentence:  “In the end I can always declassify if it proves necessary.”  Another unambiguous reminder that he has absolute authority to move forward, that he has the unredacted documents in his possession, and that he won’t hesitate to move ahead if the stonewalling continues.

Final sentence:  “Speed is very important to me – and everyone!”  It’s important to the President because he wants these documents out quickly.  It’s important to everyone else involved because he held back from declassifying a bunch of other documents – like the Rosenstein memos to Mueller authorizing and expanding the Special Counsel investigation and the FBI 302 forms from the January 2017 interview of General Mike Flynn – that might be even more damaging and incriminating to these bad actors, and which he could move forward on if the stonewalling continues.

This wasn’t President Trump backing off – it was President Trump reminding everyone exactly who has all the leverage in this situation.

That is all.
