Right on Cue, the New York Times Tries to Mount a new Russia Hoax

Meet the new Russia hoax, same as the old Russia hoax. – The Russia Collusion hoax was based entirely on a fraudulent dossier and lies told to reporters by anonymous sources. Well, and also by reporters just making crap up out of whole cloth in many instances, but that goes without saying. The Democrats and their corrupt media toadies managed to deceive the American public for three solid years and tilt the 2018 elections using that hoax, so it’s only natural they would repeat that same model in the runup to the 2020 elections.

Meet the new Russia hoax, this one claiming that President Trump was briefed on a plan by those evil Russians to bribe Afghanistan militants to murder U.S. and coalition forces in that sh*thole country (don’t even try to prove me wrong on that assessment), and that the President did nothing to stop them. The New York Times got the ball rolling on that doozy late last week with yet another fake report based on nothing but anonymous sources who may or may not even exist. You’re just supposed to trust that the New York Times, which has filed hundreds of completely false reports about President Trump since 2015, is finally telling you the truth this time, because of their journalistic “ethics” or something.

Even more, you’re supposed to believe the Times because other corrupt media outlets like the Wall Street Journal and Washington post “independently verified” the story – i.e., they talked to the same anonymous sources, who may well have been the reporter from the Times itself. Because that’s what these corrupt political operatives masquerading as journalists do.

As with this past week’s Bubba Wallace/NASCAR noose story, if you didn’t realize within about 10 seconds that both stories are clear hoaxes, then you just haven’t been paying enough attention to what’s been happening in our country for the past four years. But most Americans are too dense to figure it out, so the President and many of his people had to waste their time issuing outright denials of this false reporting on Saturday.

As reported by the Washington Examiner, former Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell ended up in a back and forth on Twitter with despicable hack Ted Lieu:

Rep. Ted Lieu, a California Democrat, tweeted at Grenell daring him to confirm whether he did not tell Trump and Pence about a Russian military intelligence unit offering financial rewards to Taliban militants to kill U.S. troops or McEnany was lying.

“I never heard this,” Grenell shot back. “And it’s disgusting how you continue to politicize intelligence. You clearly don’t understand how raw intel gets verified. Leaks of partial information to reporters from anonymous sources is dangerous because people like you manipulate it for political gain.”

Lieu followed up by asking: “If you are telling the truth, why doesn’t White House deny bounty story instead of saying you didn’t brief @POTUS?”

Grenell replied: “All anonymous sources. And these same reporters gave us the Russian collusion hoax you still hold on to.”

Yep.

Current DNI John Ratcliffe issued this unambiguous statement on the matter:

Ok. Next!

The President of the United States tweeted this:

All true. Next!

Even Vladimir Putin and Russia accurately referred to the New York Times as “fake news”:

Russia denies allegation that it offered bounties to militants in Afghanistan for killing American troops
According to The New York Times, American intelligence officials reported that a Russian assassination unit secretly offered bounties to Taliban-linked militants for killing American troops in Afghanistan. Russia responded by calling it an attempt to “invent new fake stories.”

So, you are left with either believing “news” outlets who have repeatedly lied to you and worked hand in glove with the Democrat Party to spread a series of outright hoaxes to the American public over the last four years, or believing the President, DNI Ratcliffe and Ric Grenell, who spent his entire time as DNI debunking the media’s previous Russia Hoax by declassifying documents and bring transparency in government.

This is not hard, folks.

William Barr Fires Dana Boente, Identifies Antifa as Riot Organizers

The Evening Campaign Update

William Barr’s big adventure took two huge steps on Saturday.

First, Attorney General Barr went out of his way to call out the domestic terrorist and Democrat support group Antifa as one of the main organizers behind the nationwide set of riots happening in Democrat-controlled big cities this weekend. He also took great pains to note that the crossing of state lines to organize or participate in riots is a federal crime.

Here’s an outtake from his speech:

Groups of outside radicals and agitators are exploiting the situation to pursue their own separate and violent agenda.

In many places, it appears the violence is planned, organized, and driven by anarchistic and far left extremists, using Antifa-like tactics, many of whom travel from out of state to promote the violence.

We must have law and order on our streets and in our communities, and it is the responsibility of the local and state leadership, in the first instance, to halt this violence. The Department of Justice (including the FBI, Marshals, ATF, and DEA), and all of our 93 U.S. Attorneys across the country, will support these local efforts and take all action necessary to enforce federal law.

In that regard, it is a federal crime to cross state lines or to use interstate facilities to incite or participate in violent rioting. We will enforce these laws.”

[End]

Boom. Obviously, Mr. Barr has intelligence showing that Antifa is behind this violence and mayhem, just as I speculated in this morning’s Campaign Update. Barr’s speech today was obviously a stage-setter for action to come.

Second came the news mid-afternoon that the FBI’s top lawyer, the corrupt clown Dana Boente – who was hand-picked for the job by Rod Rosenstein and Christopher Wray – was allowed to “resign” his position on Friday rather than suffer the indignity of an outright firing. In it’s fake report on the matter, NBC News hilariously attempts to tie the firing to recent criticism Boente had received on Fox News for his role in the framing of General Michael Flynn, a role that included withholding exculpatory documents from Flynn’s defense team.

The fact of the matter here is that Boente has been a bad actor for a long, long time and should have never been given any position within the Trump Administration. The fact that he has held multiple positions within the DOJ since 2017 is a testament to how poorly managed and corrupt the institution has remained, although it certainly does appear to be suddenly making strides under Barr’s leadership.

Of special note here is that the firing of Boente was ordered by Barr and the DOJ, in the process going right over the head of the worthless, corrupt FBI Director Wray. This is a show of incredible disrespect, one that Wray has richly earned.

No one should be the least bit surprised if Wray’s is the next head on the chopping block, since there is literally no one in Washington, DC who has the slightest respect for the way he has handled his job. The firing of Boente also leaves Wray without many, if any, real friends within the Bureau’s top management. Anyone who has ever been in upper management in any organization knows how crucial it is to have a loyal support group around you.

With Ric Grenell currently out of government, I continue to hold out hope that Barr and President Donald Trump will find a new senior position for him to fill. Sure would be nice to have a vacancy atop the FBI to plug him into, wouldn’t it?

Of course, Grenell could never be confirmed to the FBI Director job by the current Senate. But, as we have seen over the last three months, this is a guy who can accomplish a hell of a lot in a 180-day assignment in an “acting” role.

Go for it, Mr. President. As you love to say, what have you got to lose?

That is all.

Whitmer Requests National Guard Through July; Grenell Gets in Some Parting Shots

The Mid-Day Campaign Update

The only appropriate response to this request is “Hell, no.” – Generalissimo Gretchen Whitmer, the aspiring banana republic dictator who currently serves as Michigan’s brutish Governor, made a startling request of President Trump earlier today. In a letter e-mailed to the President, Herr Gretchen has the utter gall to request an extension under U.S. Title 32 to extend her use of the state’s National Guard at federal expense through … wait for it… JULY 31.

I kid you not:

Image

The power-mad Whitmer already has this authority in place through June 24, 12 days after her current lockdown order is set to expire. So, what does this tell you about her plans for further extending that order, despite the fact that there exists today not one shred of data or science to underpin it?

The truth is that there was never any real justification for Whitmer to have this Title 32 authority in the first place, and there is damn sure no reason whatsoever why she really needs it for another two months and three days.

It is long past time for President Trump to start asserting his authority to roll back the excesses of fascist Democrat Governors like Whitmer. A firm, swift and unambiguous denial of this brazen request would be a great way to start.

So long, Ric – please come back soon. – The Great One, Mark Levin, conducted a wide-ranging 19-minute interview with outgoing Acting DNI/Ambassador to Germany Ric Grenell on Wednesday. During the course of that interview, Grenell had some very revealing things to say about the way he was un-welcomed by the DC Swamp into the DNI job, and how the corrupt news media treated him throughout that assignment.

Here are some outtakes from the interview:

On how he was distrusted by members of congressional oversight committees and other deep state politicians, as well as the news media: “An outsider coming in with fresh eyes is like the enemy because you’re going to look at things differently.”

“Look what they did when I came in and was appointed. They immediately said this is an outsider who has no experience. And I heard that over and over, Mark, from most every news outlet. No experience, no experience. That’s not true. I have different experiences. I’ve been a consumer of intelligence since 2001, longer than a lot of the people who are in charge of overseeing intelligence from Congress. But that didn’t matter to them because I didn’t grow up in the system.”

On whether knowledge about Obamagate went all the way into the White House: “There is no possible way that it wasn’t known inside the White House and that multiple layers of people knew about this.”

On congressional manipulation of the Intelligence Community: “It was the political people and the politicians who were ignoring the problems and the career people were clamoring for reform. An overwhelming majority [of career officials] hate the leaks, they hate the manipulation coming from Congress, they hate how oversight is done through a letter, and then you don’t talk to anybody about it, and the briefings are ‘gotcha’ briefings. That’s not good.”

It’s a really good interview and well worth a listen.

From the day he was appointed to become the U.S. Ambassador to Germany, Mr. Grenell has been one of the most loyal and impactful members of the entire Trump Administration. As of yesterday, he is now officially out of government service, which is a terrible loss for the country in this time of great stress and peril.

President Trump should do everything in his power to convince him to serve in another high position because, as Abraham Lincoln famously said about Ulysses S. Grant:

“I need this man. He fights.”

That is all.

Ratcliffe Sworn-in as DNI – What Next for Ric Grenell?

The Mid-Day Campaign Update

John Ratcliffe was sworn into office as the new Director of National Intelligence Tuesday morning. Especially relevant was the man who did the swearing-in: His predecessor Ric Grenell.

In just 90 days on the job, Mr. Grenell performed one of the great services to our country in its history. By the sheer force of his will and his willingness to take personal risks for the greater good, Grenell completely exposed the scope and scale of the scandal we are now calling Obamagate. As a parting salute to Grenell, the folks at the Daily Caller put together a great piece cataloging the major actions he took during his brief time in the job.

Here are some examples:

— Directed the IC to change the way they protect the identities of U.S. citizens contained within intelligence reporting

— Completed the IC review of 53 transcripts from the House Intelligence Committee’s investigation into alleged Russian collusion in the 2016 election and made the transcripts publicly available

— Declassified previously redacted footnotes from the Justice Department Inspector General’s report into the origins of the Russian collusion investigation

— Declassified a list of government officials who requested the unmasking of National Security Advisor Michael Flynn

— Replaced FBI with ODNI as the primary group responsible for briefing presidential campaigns on information derived from national intelligence

— Declassified former national security adviser Susan Rice’s email to herself regarding a January 2016 Oval Office where progress on the Russia investigation was discussed

— Declassified additional transcripts in ODNI’s possession for potential public release by incoming DNI John Ratcliffe

[End]

The list is very long, and it is well worth your time to read the entire thing. No doubt Mr. Ratcliffe will do a fine job in this position, but he will find himself at great pains to replicate Grenell’s amazing record of achievement.

As his final act on the job, Grenell declassified what Fox News reports as “a slew of” additional Russia-probe-related files, including transcripts of several calls between General Mike Flynn and Russian Ambassador to the U.S. Sergey Kislyak. Of note, those calls do not include the December 29, 2016 call between the two men that the coup cabal within the FBI claimed as the basis for its effort to frame Flynn. Grenell made it clear in a tweet over the weekend that that particular call was not the property of the Intelligence Community.

This is a key disclosure, since it means that that particular call was not recorded under the umbrella of the IC’s efforts during that time to monitor Kislyak’s communications, but rather directly recorded by the FBI as a part of its own spying efforts on the Trump Transition team. Thus, the transcript of that critical call can only be declassified by the FBI and Department of Justice.

Interestingly, Grenell announced over the weekend that he will not return to his full-time job as the nation’s Ambassador to Germany. One would hope that President Trump would convince him to remain in service to the nation, given that he possesses such rare leadership skills. No agency of the Federal Government is more desperately in need of a dynamic and determined leader than the FBI itself, which continues to flounder around under the feckless reign of the useless, obstructing Christopher Wray.

It is long past time for President Trump to admit that the appointment of Wray was one of the great mistakes of his presidency. If Grenell is willing, there is literally no reason at all to keep Wray around a day longer.

That is all.

Friday News Roundup: Win for Flynn, Loss for Gretchen, CORONAPANIC Lunacy and More

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Tired of all this WINNING yet? – The DC Circuit Court of Appeals, in an extremely rare action, ordered corrupt Federal Judge Emmet Sullivan to personally respond to the Court to explain his refusal to grant the DOJ’s motion to dismiss the case against General Mike Flynn, which was filed on May 7:

Image

As appellate lawyer John M. Reeves (reeveslawstl) explained in a great thread on Twitter, writs of mandamus like the one Sidney Powell filed on Tuesday are most often rejected outright by a court of appeals. But, when not rejected outright, district judges are generally allowed to respond through  an amicus curae, an outside attorney appointed by the circuit court who would file a response on his behalf. In fact, that is exactly what the appellate court did in the U.S. v. Fokker case cited in this order.

The 3-judge appellate court panel could have also merely “requested” Judge Sullivan to respond; instead, it requires him to file his response within 10 days. This is an extraordinary demand by an appellate court of a district judge who has been on the bench for more than a quarter of a century and who, prior to his gross mismanagement of the Flynn case, had established a firm reputation for adhering to the law.

The 3-judge panel consists of Judge Karen Henderson, a George HW Bush appointee; Judge Robert Wilkins, an Obama appointee; and Judge Neomi Rao, an appointee of Donald Trump. We can be confident that Judge Rao will do the right thing, and that Judge Wilkins will parrot whatever opinion is written for him by a bunch of Lawfare lawyers. Thus, the entire matter will hinge on the judgment of Judge Henderson, who, if the order issued yesterday is any indication, is already highly concerned about Sullivan’s conduct.

And speaking of WINNING… – Staunton, Virginia, is a town that has trended Democrat for more than a decade, one that voted for Barack Hussein Obama His Own Self twice, and went for the Fainting Felon over Donald Trump in the 2016 election. GOP voter turnout has been depressed in recent election cycles, as Republicans have become discouraged, assuming the handwriting was on the wall.

But this week, everything changed. Three city council seats, all held by Democrats for years, were up, and the Republicans, in what one reporter called an outcome that was “stunning beyond words,” took all three seats from Democrats, riding a wave of record turnout. Thus, as the corrupt news media continues to crank out its fake polls – Fox just released another laugher yesterday – pretending to show Biden and the Democrats with substantial leads, the results of elections on the ground keep painting a very different picture.

And even more WINNING! – As we reported yesterday evening, Texas Congressman John Ratcliffe was confirmed by the full Senate yesterday on a party-line, 49-44 vote, to become the full-time Director of National Intelligence.

The courageous Grenell will now resume his job as full-time U.S. Ambassador to Germany. Every American should wish him Godspeed and be thankful for his outstanding work as Acting DNI. He has truly made a difference for the nation.

And hey, President Trump: If you want to make every leftist head in America explode simultaneously, how about firing Christopher Wray and making Mr. Grenell the Acting Director of the utterly corrupt Federal Bureau of Investigation? Wouldn’t that be fun?

Yeah, it really would.

Will this WINNING never end? – Generalissimo Gretchen Whitmer, the aspiring banana republic dictator currently serving as Governor of Michigan, suffered another setback on Thursday when a county judge who, unlike her, has actually read the U.S. Constitution rejected her efforts to deny 77 year-old barber Karl Manke his right to cut hair.

From U.S. News and World Report:

The state health department failed to show that Karl Manke’s shop was a specific threat to public health, Shiawassee County Judge Matthew Stewart said.

Manke reopened his shop in Owosso on May 4, drawing customers from across the state who were inspired by his plea for freedom from a government shutdown. Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said barber shops and hair salons are risky places because of the contagious virus.

Manke, 77, has received at least two tickets for violating Whitmer’s orders, and his barber license was suspended last week. Nonetheless, he said he’s still cutting hair — “Oh, heavens yes” — including the hair of a squirming 2-year-old Thursday.

“Listen, I’ve been in this business for 59 years. She wants to come cut my hands off, that’s another story,” Manke said in an interview, referring to the governor.

America needs more 77 year-old men like Karl Manke, and more judges like Matthew Stewart.

Gov Whitmer: “Dictator of the Week” Award

Biden team vetting more potential VP candidates. – Don’t look now, but Creepy Uncle Quid Pro China Joe Biden’s handlers, after starting the vetting process with Generalissimo Gretchen and Stacey Abrams, are also moving to vet more serious people, starting with Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar.

Say what you will about Sen. Klobuchar, but she, unlike the Generalissimo, is actually someone who has qualifications to be president, which is something any Biden running mate would end up becoming within a few weeks after Inauguration Day due to Biden’s obvious, advancing mental decline.

The Biden handlers also leaked on Thursday the fact that they are also vetting Florida Congresswoman Val Demings. Unlike the loooooser, unaccomplished Ms. Abrams, Cong. Demings is an accomplished, serious person with 35 years in law enforcement. She rose from being a patrol officer to ultimately serve as Orlando’s Chief of Police for 10 years prior to being elected to congress in 2016. Yes, she’s a leftist, but at least she is someone who has had experience leading in a crisis.

While a Biden presidency would be an unmitigated disaster for the country in any event, it is somewhat reassuring that his handlers are at least beginning to consider some fairly serious people as his running mate. Don’t get me wrong: They’re all terrible people. But a Whitmer/Abrams level of terrible is a little more dangerous to everyone than Klobuchar/Demings level of terrible would be.

The push for Joe Biden to choose a black woman as his vice ...

CORNAPANIC LUNACY, Part I – The things we are doing in response to the virus are simply insane, as illustrated by this photo of a beach in La Grande Mont, France:

CORNAPANIC LUNACY, Part II – Horse racing is about to restart in Texas, but few will be there to see it. At Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie – which is in Democrat-controlled Dallas County – the bar and sports book, both entirely indoor facilities, will be allowed to admit fans and bettors up to 25% of capacity.

But the grandstand, which is outdoors in the warm sunlight and fresh air, will be kept empty. This despite several recent studies that indicate that warmth and sunlight help to kill the Wuhan Virus.

You just could never in a million years make this stuff up, folks.

WINNING ALERT: John Ratcliffe Confirmed as DNI – Godspeed, Ric Grenell

Today’s Campaign Update – WINNING ALERT

Texas Congressman and strong Trump supporter John Ratcliffe was confirmed by the full U.S. Senate to become the next Director of National Intelligence. The vote in the Senate was 49 to 44, along party lines, of course.

From a  report at the Wall Street Journal:

Once sworn in, he will take over from acting DNI Richard Grenell in the job of overseeing and coordinating 17 U.S. intelligence agencies with combined budgets of more than $80 billion and responsibility for everything from human spying to electronic eavesdropping and operating spy satellites.

Mr. Ratcliffe will be the first Senate-confirmed intelligence czar since August, when Dan Coats resigned after a tenure marked by friction with Mr. Trump.

He takes over at a time of challenges abroad including an increasingly confident China and North Korea’s weapons programs, and at home, where the normally nonpartisan business of intelligence gathering and analysis has become the subject of bitter partisan fights.

Mr. Grenell was seen by congressional Democrats as an overly partisan political ally of the president.

[End]

Do any of you give a damn what the Democrats think of Mr. Ratcliffe? I know I don’t. Ratcliffe will be tremendous in this job, and will do great service for the nation.

As happy as we all should be to have Ratcliffe finally confirmed after his start-stop-start, 9-month journey into the job, there is no doubt that Acting DNI Ric Grenell will be missed.

Here is a simple fact: No member of the Trump Administration to date has displayed the courage and focus on doing the right thing that Mr. Grenell has shown us since taking over this job on February 20. It is difficult to believe today that he has had only 3 months in the role, given all of the phenomenal things he has accomplished during that time.

Grenell has cleared more seditious dead wood out of the intelligence community these last three months than all of his predecessors combined. He has initiated a massive restructuring of the White House portion of the IC, and has led the fight to declassify hundreds of documents that had been previously withheld for specious reasons from the light of day.

In fact, Ratcliffe can thank Grenell for his own confirmation. Had Grenell conducted himself as a worthless, insubordinate protector of the DC Swamp like his predecessors have done, there is no way a Trump loyalist could have been approved by the corrupt Senate Intelligence Committee. But Democrats and RINOs alike were so fearful of what more Grenell might achieve if he were given another year in the job that they sped Ratcliffe’s process along over the past month.

Grenell now goes back to become the full-time U.S. Ambassador to Germany, where he has also done stellar work for the nation.

Every American should thank him and wish him Godspeed.

UPDATE: In their own piece on this confirmation, the guys at TheConservativeTreehouse make a final point that would send shivers up the spine of the Deep State:

FBI Director Grenell does have a nice ring to it.

Go for it, President Trump.

That is all.

Ric Grenell Moves to Secure 2020 Elections From the Real Threat

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

There is no more important issue facing our nation today than election security. That security has been under deep and growing threat for decades now, and not from the dreaded Russians.

The actual pervasive, focused and existential threat to America’s elections comes from the Democrat Party, which has been devising new ways to defraud the public trust and steal elections since its very creation.

Texans tell the tale of Lyndon Johnson’s stealing the Democrat Party’s 1948 U.S. Senate primary election using the infamous “Box 13” like it’s an amusing fairy tale. But it isn’t: It really happened, and it was really the first famous case of what Democrats today like to call “ballot harvesting.”

Johnson and his opponent, Coke Stevenson spent days after election day getting the respective crony county judges to “find” new ballots lying around their courthouses. Every time Stevenson would pull ahead, LBJ would call one of his buddies to “harvest” enough ballots to allow him to take the lead.

After this had gone on for several days, Johnson made one last call to his most reliable crony, Duval County Judge George Parr. Parr told him that he’d already “found” more ballots in his county than its total number of adult residents; plus, by that point he had the FBI and Texas Rangers breathing down his neck. But, he said, he might be able to do something in neighboring Jim Wells County. That evening, a box containing about 200 ballots, all filled out in the same handwriting, somehow cast in alphabetical order, and almost all of which were conveniently cast for Johnson, were added to the count, handing Johnson his victory.

We laugh about this story now, but think of all the human misery that LBJ was able to cause as the result of stealing that election. It is an established fact of history that John Kennedy was in the process of pulling the U.S. out of Vietnam when he was assassinated. Within days after taking the oath of office aboard Air Force One, Johnson reversed that decision and began his massive escalation of that tragic intervention.

Also, consider this: How does the Box 13 election theft differ in any substantive way from the “ballot harvesting” we saw in California in 2018, or the outright thievery – usually carried out on national television – we see in every election cycle by Democrat officials in Broward and Palm Beach counties in Florida? Mind you, those people in Florida came within a few hundred hanging chads of stealing the presidency for Al Gore in 2000.

The only real difference is that, instead of “finding” 200 ballots, the Democrat thieves today manage to “find” millions.

Indeed, the Democrats have become so unabashed about their election thievery – which their corrupt toadies in the national news media have worked so hard to normalize in the public mind – that they openly brag about it. Yesterday, House Democrats passed a $3 trillion piece of legislation that contains hundreds of millions of dollars as seed money for institutionalizing it in every state of the union.

It is against this backdrop that increasingly threatens to turn the United States into a functional banana republic, and the utter and complete failure by the FBI and other federal law enforcement agencies to do anything about it, that Acting Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell made another important move on Friday.  In the news release copied below, Grenell announced that all election security briefings that have in the past been led by the increasingly-unreliable and corrupt FBI will now be led by the ODNI.

Image

Grenell’s action is just one more proof-point of what an abject failure Christopher Wray has been in the job of FBI Director, and likely another indication of how little President Trump trusts the man. No one should expect Wray to last long in a second Trump term in office.

From a report at Fox News on the matter:

A senior administration official told Fox News the newly-Senate confirmed director of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center inside ODNI, Bill Evanina, will serve as the intelligence community’s leader of the “critical effort.”

OBAMA ADMINISTRATION WAS ‘FROZEN’ IN COMBATTING 2016 RUSSIAN ELECTION MEDDLING: SENATE REPORT

“U.S. elections are the foundation of our nation’s democracy,” Evanina said Friday. “We are committed to supporting this administration’s ‘whole of government’ effort to secure the 2020 election.”

The senior administration official told Fox News that the change “represents an important improvement in simplification to the threat notification process.”

A senior White House official told Fox News that “the biggest complaint from the 2016 election was the lack of, and insufficiency, of briefings to campaigns and candidates,” referring to then-candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.

The last election speaks to itself, in terms of how much was going on, and how poorly the campaigns and candidates were kept abreast in order to protect their campaigns,” the White House official told Fox News.

[End]

So obviously, James Comey’s FBI failed to get the job done in 2016, which should surprise no one. Equally obviously, there is no reason for anyone to have any more confidence in Wray’s FBI to get the job done in 2020.

While the corrupt news media will continue to focus on the Russia, Russia, Russia fantasy aspect of all of this, the real threat to America’s system of free elections always has been and clearly remains the Democrat Party.

Thank God for Ric Grenell, and pray his eventual successor, John Ratcliffe, is as effective and determined in this job as he has been.

That is all.

The Democrats are Redoubling their Efforts to Keep America Locked Down

The Evening Campaign Update

Today was a very, very busy news day. Here are a few of the highlights.

The Democrat brutes in charge of Los Angeles County extended their stay-at-home order through JULY. This is heinously abusive and un-American.

Also today, the leftists who run California’s state university system announced the are making the rash decision to keep all campuses closed through the fall semester. Utterly mindless.

In case you hadn’t noticed yet, the pace of the extension of lockdowns by Democrat officials is now beginning to quicken, not slow. They are determined to keep their parts of the country locked down through November in order to prevent any chance of an economic recovery during the 3rd quarter.

This is clearly a coordinated strategy between congressional Democrats and Democrat governors, mayors, county judges and other local officials all over the country. Warning: it is not limited to blue states. As we have seen, even in a red state like Texas, Democrat local officials are doing everything they can to discourage business reopenings and extending the economic and human pain for as long as possible.

Meanwhile, the Democrats also advanced the DC piece of their strategy to break the nation as San Fran Nan released the details of her $3 trillion fake stimulus bill. Very predictably, it is stuffed chock full of the Democrat pork wish list, including more money for abortion, Planned Parenthood, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and a whole section on the promotion of rampant voter fraud via a nationwide mail-in ballot system.

In the Senate Wuhan Virus hearing this morning, Democrat Sen. Tim Kaine illegally displayed a “TK 4 VA” campaign bumper sticker on his laptop for all the cameras to see [see photo below]. This is a clear violation of federal campaign finance laws, which prohibit any campaigning and/or electioneering on on official government property. We can be certain that the Senate Ethics Committee will make absolutely no effort at all to hold him accountable.

Important to note that none of the other committee members did anything similar.

Everyone should take the time to watch this video of a Texas doctor with a perfect cure rate for COVID-19 using … wait for it …hydroxychloroquine combined with antibiotics and azithromycine. You know – the cheap, plentiful, well-known treatment that Dr. Fauci doesn’t want your doctor to prescribe to you.

Pay particular attention to the Orwellian tactics now being deployed by Walgreen’s pharmacists on any doctor who wants to use this treatment regimen for their patients. This kind of crap has got to stop.

–  Finally, the news-fakers at ABC News managed to create another bit of news-fakery today. Big surprise, right?

ABC’s DOJ correspondent Alex Mallin thought he had a real, bonafide scoop when he issued this tweet:

Hooooooboy, he done got him a “senior DOJ official” for a source right there. umm-hmmm, yew betcha.

Of course, as a DOJ spokesperson later clarified, DOJ has no intention of releasing these documents because they are ODNI documents, and the decision about whether or not to make them public rests with Ric Grenell, the Acting Director of National Intelligence.

It was Grenell, if you remember, who famously hand-delivered copies of these documents and perhaps others last Thursday to Attorney General William Barr. Corrupt media outlets like ABC have been assuming Grenell did that because he wanted Barr’s permission to make them public. As a matter of actual reality, though, Grenell delivered them to Barr because those documents are likely  to be very useful evidence in the investigation being mounted by U.S. Attorney John Durham.

Grenell may or may not decide to make them public based on his conversations with Barr and Durham. If those two men convince Grenell that making these particular documents public might damage Durham’s work in some way, then they will likely remain classified for now.

That’s how all of this works, not the way ABC imagines. So, what else is new?

That is all.

Obama Knew, And Now We Know, Too

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

It has grown increasingly obvious over the last few weeks that Barack Hussein Obama His Own Self was fully aware of and likely involved in the planning of Spygate from the very beginning. The drip, drip, drip of newly-declassified documents, most of them forced out into the sunlight by Acting DNI Ric Grenell and Attorney General William Barr, is providing an increasingly transparent picture of just what the former president had to know and when he must have known it.

Over the weekend, we talked about the fact that then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates was stunned to discover during a meeting on January 5, 2017 with Obama and James Comey that Obama was fully aware of all of the details surrounding the effort to entrap and frame General Mike Flynn, including the fact that the FBI was illegally recording Flynn’s phone calls during the presidential transition. This meeting occurred more than 3 weeks before the FBI’s carefully-choreographed entrapment interview with Flynn.

So, we know that Obama was intimately involved in that piece of the growing Spygate scandal. But it is almost certain that he was much more deeply involved than that, going all the way back to the germination of the effort to spy on and entrap certain members of the Trump Campaign, which we know began in late 2015.

We know that because all of those efforts were being conducted out of FBI headquarters under the umbrella of a counterintelligence investigation. As former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy told Captain Tick-Tock, Sean Hannity Friday evening, counterintelligence investigations are conducted for the president, and their progress is included in the president’s periodic intelligence briefings, which Obama received on a daily basis.

Here is a clip of McCarthy’s comments, followed by a transcript:

Transcript:

McCarthy – What I’m saying is not that the president sits there and directs that there be counterintelligence investigations. What I’m saying is that, unlike criminal investigations, counterintelligence investigations are done for the president. The only reason to do them is to inform the president with the information he needs to protect the United States from foreign threats. They are not like criminal investigations in that regard.

So, in principle, the information from a counterintelligence investigation is for the president. And here, we know at various junctures we have  actual factual information that this investigation was well-known to President Obama.

Hannity -Ok, so, if he knew, and this is all happening, he had to know about it from the get-go. Doesn’t that also imply that he would have been updated about all of this, if he’s the one that needs it for national security decision making?

McCarthy – Sean, if things were working properly, the President should’ve been alerted about it and informed about it. It was a very important investigation. If they actually believed what they were telling the court, that it was a possibility that Donald Trump was actually a plant of the Kremlin, it would have been derelict on their part not to keep the President informed.

[End]

Now, think about the implications of what McCarthy is telling Captain Tick-Tock in this clip. Everything, every element of Spygate, was coordinated out of the FBI’s counterintelligence division, which at the time was headed up by Bill Priestap, who reported to FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe. This is why the demonic Peter Strzok had such a heavy role in every piece of the operation – he reported directly to Priestap at the time. So did FBI agent Joe Pientka, who conducted the Flynn entrapment meeting along with Strzok.

Comey and McCabe and Strzok have all claimed that the FBI formally kicked-off its counterintelligence operation against the Trump Campaign at the end of July, 2016, in an operation they named “Crossfire Hurricane.” But we know from a variety of documents now in the public domain that FBI and CIA operatives were in fact targeting Trump campaign people like George Papadopoulous way back as early as November, 2015.

We also now know that the FBI was engaged with and using information provided by British spy Christopher Steele throughout this entire time frame. And we also know that the FBI was fully aware that Steele’s information – which consisted mostly of salacious rumors provided by agents of Russia and other foreign governments – was highly questionable and very likely false. And finally, we also know that the FBI and DOJ were fully aware that Steele’s efforts were being funded by the Hillary Clinton Campaign and the DNC, which Clinton controlled at that time.

All of this is information that Barack Obama His Own Self almost certainly became aware of through his daily intelligence briefings.

Think about what else was going on under the rubrick of Crossfire Hurricane. That known-to-be-false information provided by Christopher Steele was being used by the FBI as its foundation for defrauding the FISA court and acquiring a series of illegally-obtained FISA warrants. The FBI used one of those illegal warrants to justify the tapping of Trump Transition Team phones, including General Flynn’s.

Obama knew. All of this. Every bit of it.

Now, think back to last Thursday and the breaking news that Acting DNI Grenell had hand-delivered a satchel filled with additional documents directly to Attorney General William Barr. What if those documents included copies of those daily intelligence briefings that were provided to then-president Obama during this time frame?

This could explain why President Trump suddenly switched from using the term “Spygate” to calling it “Obamagate” over the weekend. Obama’s sudden realization of how exposed he had left himself in all of this may have also motivated his decision to leak the tape of his carefully-scripted phone call with the “Obama alumni association” on Saturday.

Obama knew. He knew everything. Throughout the entirety of the 2016 presidential campaign, we had a sitting U.S. president fully aware of and actively participating in a spying operation on the nominee of the opposition party. He thought he was invulnerable because surely Hillary was going to beat Trump.

But then Trump won. And that victory by Trump necessitated the mounting of a coup d’etat on American soil in order to protect Obama and all of his his team, a coup effort that started with the attempt to entrap and frame General Mike Flynn.

Sidney Powell, Flynn’s badass lawyer who has had access now to far more information than is currently in the public domain, certainly thinks this is the case:

Obama knew. Everything.

This sure will be an interesting week.

That is all.
