The Democrats Demand Their Recession!

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

As you watch the Democrats and their fake news media toadies attempt to convince Americans we are in a recession when the economy is in fact booming, remember they have done this all before. – This is just page 284 or something from the Democrat/media playbook, and as George H.W. Bush found out the hard way in 1991-2, the effort has succeeded before.

Not that Poppy Bush deserved to be re-elected in 1992 after reneging on his “read my lips, no new taxes” promise to the voters, but the main reason why he lost that election was because most voters went to the polls convinced that an economy that was humming right along was in fact in a recession. That mis-perception was 100% due to the massive brainwashing campaign that had been mounted by the Democrat/media propaganda complex for 15 solid months leading up to election day.

So, if you’re wondering why each and every one of the Sunday morning opinion shows focused on the “are we in a recession?” fake topic, rest assured that was no coincidence. With the whole “Russia collusion” hoax having miserably failed, the Democrat/media complex is just going through their handy playbook, tossing stuff up against the wall to see if any of it will stick.

It won’t stick this time, for one key reason: In 1991, the country did go through a very brief, very modest recession. That was the “hook,” complete with actual data, that afforded the brainwashing effort a shred of credibility. The brain-washers do not enjoy any similar luxury today, as the Trump economy, with its full employment, low inflation and high wage growth rates has given us strong GDP growth for two uninterrupted years now.

What they are engaged in today is an audacious effort to destroy consumer confidence, because they understand that we have a consumption-based economy. No kidding – these people cringe and become angry when they see the strong consumer confidence numbers published each month, so they are literally attempting to tank the U.S. economy.

Yes, it’s despicable. Yes, it’s disgraceful. Yes, it is disgusting. But hey, these are Democrats we’re talking about here – you expected something else?

Speaking of despicable, disgraceful and disgusting, how about that New York Times, huh? – In case you missed it, New York Times Executive Editor Dean Baquet got caught on audio admitting that his fake news publication had literally built its staff to promote the “Russia collusion” story, and is now regrouping because, in his words, “the story has changed” to racism.

But of course, as we have known now for two solid years, the story never changed at all: “Russia collusion” was a massive hoax from day one, and everyone involved knew it was a hoax, including Baquet and his tailor-made staff at the New York Times. What has actually changed this year is that the vaunted Mueller Report failed to support the hoax, humiliating the Times, and all the myriad other fake news organizations that had pushed the hoax on behalf of the Democrat Party beginning in mid-2016.

Or as Baquet put it:

The closest Baquet came to identifying a moment when the paper had misjudged current events was when he described it as being “a little tiny bit flat-footed” after the Mueller investigation ended. “Our readers who want Donald Trump to go away suddenly thought, ‘Holy shit, Bob Mueller is not going to do it,’” Baquet said.

Oh.

So, what is a professional propagandist to do when he has been caught “a little tiny bit flat-footed” promoting one hoax? Why, move on to promoting another hoax, of course.

Thus it was that, in the same town hall meeting in which the admissions above were made, Baquet promised to re-tool his staff and his fake newspaper’s overarching narrative to now focus on how everything in American life is about racism:

“How do we cover America, that’s become so divided by Donald Trump?” he said. “How do we grapple with all the stuff you all are talking about? How do we write about race in a thoughtful way, something we haven’t done in a large way in a long time?”

“We built our newsroom to cover one story, and we did it truly well. Now we have to regroup, and shift resources and emphasis to take on a different story. I’d love your help with that. As Audra Burch said when I talked to her this weekend, this one is a story about what it means to be an American in 2019. It is a story that requires deep investigation into people who peddle hatred, but it is also a story that requires imaginative use of all our muscles to write about race and class in a deeper way than we have in years. In the coming weeks, we’ll be assigning some new people to politics who can offer different ways of looking at the world. We’ll also ask reporters to write more deeply about the country, race, and other divisions. I really want your help in navigating this story.”

But never fear, Deplorables, because the New York Times is now supposedly going to make an effort to “understand” you, something any responsible news organ might have attempted to do in 2015:

The same newspaper that this week will publish the 1619 Project, the most ambitious examination of the legacy of slavery ever undertaken in [inaudible] newspaper, to try to understand the forces that led to the election of Donald Trump. And that means trying to understand the segment of America that probably does not read us.

Rest assured that the only attempt to “understand” that segment of America will simply be to support the Democrat narrative that each and every one of them is a racist.

This is both hilarious, and sad. Hilarious that the newspaper that sets the coverage tone for the rest of the Democrat-toady fake news media truly cannot imagine that 95% of Americans simply do not focus on a person’s race in their everyday lives like everyone on the New York Times staff obviously does. Sad because this is so awfully representative of the sorry, tattered state of the U.S. news media today.

That is all.

Remembering the Great Inversion Recession of August 14, 2019

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Hey, remember that day when we were going to have a huge economic recession because of the inverted yield curves? – You remember that – it was, like, Wednesday, right?

For an entire day, our mainstream “news” media focused on pretty much nothing else. The yield curves had inverted and by golly that meant we were about to have a massive recession!!!!!! Why, it was just around the corner!!!! Or maybe – just maybe, all the fake journalists reported with bated breath – we’re already in it!!!!!!  Oh, happy days are here again!

But then, on Thursday, those pesky yield curves de-inverted, Wal-Mart had a fantastic earnings report, and consumer spending – which happens to account for about 2/3rds of the U.S. economy – blasted past projections by the always-wrong “experts”, with growth for July coming in at .7 percent, more than double the estimates of .3 percent.

Suddenly, the Great Inversion Recession of 2019 had come to an end. But what a 24 hours it was! Why, every leftwing journalist in America (which is about 95% of all journalists in America) spent the day in ecstasy. A recession is coming! Every pundit who has spent the last four years claiming every random event is “the beginning of the end for Donald Trump” suddenly felt vindicated.  “At last, I’m right!” they all thought, “It only took me 1,223 tries!”

But no, they were all wrong again. The Trump economy just keeps steaming along, doing all those things that leftist journalists feel are terrible, things like creating full-time, good-paying jobs for every class of American, bringing actual manufacturing back to our economy, creating trillions of dollars of wealth for ordinary Americans who the Democrats all want to be lifetime government dependents, and marginalizing the Chinese economy that every Democrat and leftist journalist in America has spent years hoping would ultimately overtake our own, thus relegating America to the second-tier status it, in their warped minds, deserves.

Sorry. No recession. The Great Inversion Recession of August 14, 2019 turned out to be just another diversion by our fake news media, an excuse to avoid doing any real reporting on matters that reflect badly on their Democrat heroes. Call it the Inversion Diversion.

Think of what a sad existence it must be to spend your every waking hour actively hoping to be able to report bad news for your fellow Americans. When Bill Mahr said on his show the other night that he is actively hoping for a recession between now and next November because he thinks that’s the only way President Donald Trump can be defeated in his bid for re-election, he was just expressing the hopes and desires being quietly held by pretty much everyone on the American left.

So what if a recession puts millions of Americans out of work? Why, Elizabeth Warren will gladly create an array of new multi-trillion dollar programs with money borrowed from our grandchildren that will be designed to ensure that those millions of Americans become lifetime dependents on government largess, and thus, reliable Democrat voters. And all of those babbling heads you see on CNN and MSNBC every night will be thrilled to death with that result.

That was what Wednesday’s feeding frenzy of joyful “the Great Inversion Recession is Coming!” reporting was all about.

But this morning, all of those millions of Americans were still able to get up and go to work, thanks to the Trump economy.

Too bad, so sad for everyone at CNN, MSNBC and the New York Times, but another great day of WINNING for normal Americans.

That is all.

Why Are Democrats Trying to Foment More Violence?

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Everyone needs to understand what this is. – We all need to comprehend and digest the full and utter mendacity of what the Democrats and their toadies in the fake news media are trying to use these very convenient mass shootings to achieve right now. They are attempting to brand the President of the United States and anyone who supports him as “white nationalists” as a means of irreparably damaging his re-election campaign.

Two Democrat contenders, Cory Booker and Julian Castro, through his brother and campaign manager Joaquin Castro, gave up that game yesterday. Booker used his New Hampshire campaign chairman to issue a call for President Trump to cancel all future rallies because they are “a breeding ground for racism and bigotry that inspire white nationalist attacks like the one in El Paso on Saturday.”

This cynical, self-serving demand should surprise no one, since the crowds lining up to attend Trump’s rallies continue to attract more and more citizens as time goes on, and serve as the most effective way I’ve ever seen for a candidate to build and maintain enthusiasm. Those rallies are the centerpiece element for Trump’s campaign, and thus the Democrats have no problem heinously slandering half of the American population in order to try to kill them. It’s despicable, it’s disgusting, it’s disgraceful, it’s the Democrats.

As if that bit of utter mendacity isn’t bad enough, Julian Castro and his twin brother Joaquin – a San Antonio member of congress – stepped up to Joaquin’s Twitter feed late Monday evening and knocked it out of the park. Check it out:

The 44 San Antonio citizens listed there include housewives, retirees, blue collar workers, many of whom live in Joaquin’s district. Thus, Castro is doxing and painting targets for intimidation on the backs of his own constituents, something we’ve never seen even another cynical Democrat do before. Castro later lamely tried to defend his act of rank mendacity by saying, again on Twitter, that lists of political contributors are public information, which is true. What is despicable in this instance is the false message of intimidation from a sitting member of congress that accompanies the disclosure. This is not complicated.

The behavior of the fake journalists in the fake news media was no better yesterday. The news-fakers at the New York Times did this:

Despicable Democrat activist Joe Scarborough supported the Castro brothers with this:

And serial liar and former George W. Bush staffer Nicolle Wallace, after reprehensibly claiming on-air that President Trump has called for the “extermination of Latinos”, was obviously ordered by her superiors at MSNBC to issue this lame apology:

Then there was this from noted Democrat activist and CNN and New York Times contributor Wajahat Ali:

As I noted in yesterday’s Campaign Update, Democrats always try to exploit tragedies for political purposes. Always. It’s part of their DNA at this point. They believe they are superior to everyone else, and thus are entitled to engage in this despicable behavior because their intentions are pure and they know what’s good for you.

But what we have witnessed them collectively doing in the wake of these two shootings – one committed by an overt, avid supporter of Elizabeth Warren, the other committed by a mindless anarchist who expressly disavows any support of the President – has gone a step further than anything we have seen from them in the past.

It is one thing to turn the funeral for a dead Democrat Senator, Paul Wellstone, into a raucus campaign rally, as they did in the midst of the 2008 presidential campaign. It is quite another thing to respond to the tragic killings of more than 30 Americans by two lunatics with conduct and statements that are so outrageous, so utterly beyond the pale that they appear intentionally designed to move our nation to the precipice of a second civil war.

We can only hope that cooler heads will start to prevail soon, but in today’s Democrat Party, it becomes increasingly difficult with every passing day to identify just who those cooler heads might be.

Watch your back. Protect your loved ones. The Democrat Party and its media toadies are moving our country into a very dangerous time, and doing so with careful and obvious intent.

That is all.

Beto Flops, Williamson Tops in Tuesday Democrat Debate

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

You can tell a lot about a Democrat debate by reading the reviews posted about it by CNN and the New York Times. – Those two fake news media sources are, after all, the official mouthpieces for the Democrat Party, and their readers/viewers heavily tilt towards the voters who will end up picking the party’s nominee next year.

Over at CNN, old political chimera/hack David Gergen hilariously (unintentionally) said that the “highlight” of the debate was the emergence of a “coalition of five moderates: Bullock, Delaney, Amy Klobuchar, Tim Ryan, and John Hickenlooper.”

Here’s what’s funny about that: If you add up the polling numbers in the latest national horse race polls of those five “moderates,” you get … wait for it … ZERO. Ok, maybe you get 1, because Klobuchar does still occasionally register a smidgen of support here and there. But still, that’s a highlight?

The fact is that there is no such thing as an actual “moderate” in the Democrat party at the national level anymore. Every one of those five candidates Gergen names is for abortion until the moment of birth. Every one of them is for forcing American taxpayers to provide free healthcare to illegal immigrants. Every one of them is for some form of nationalized healthcare. Every one of them is for taking away your guns and effectively doing away with the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution. Every one of them would vote in lockstep with San Fran Nan if they served in the House of Representatives and every one of them would vote along with AOC and the “Squad” about 90% of the time.

Gergen as always is a big raging doofus. But the point here is that, if that was the most notable point of this debate in Gergen’s mind, just exactly how awful was it, really, and what does that say about the efforts of the other 7 candidates who were on the stage last night?

Fridah Ghetis, the next CNN writer on the matter, said the night “belonged to Klobuchar, Warren and Buttigieg.” Folks, any Democrat debate that “belonged” to the most abusive member of the U.S. Senate, a life-long fake Indian and the failed mayor of a small town in Indiana is a pure recipe for the landslide re-election of Donald J. Trump.

Let’s have more of these nights, please. I vote for one every week.

The New York Times, meanwhile, completely disagrees with Ghetis and CNN, singling out Klobuchar and Buttigieg as two of the three people on the stage last night who did not achieve the “breakout moment” they really needed to invigorate their campaigns.

The third named by the Times? Every fake journalist’s former love interest, Irish Bob O’Rourke. The senate looooooooser from Texas yet again demonstrated that he has no place whatsoever being in this race – he simply has no compelling reason for being on that stage, and it showed. When a guy who just got whipped in a statewide senate race tells the world that the main reason to nominate him is that he can win Texas, you know the love affair is over.

Irish Bob is done. If he had a lick of sense, he would end his presidential campaign today and come back to Texas to run in next year’s senate race vs. John Cornyn. He would lose that race, too, but he’d probably lose by a slimmer margin than anyone else the feckless Texas Democrat Party might nominate.

There were three real, obvious winners from this debate. The first two are the two “front-runners” – actually second and third-place runners behind Creepy Uncle Joe – Fauxcahontas and The Commie. The DNC had set this first night up as an opportunity for these two to go after one another, something they both refused to do. Neither one laid a hammer, sickle or tomahawk on the other, and their various run-ins with non-entities like John Delaney and Hickenlooper will make no difference to any brain-dead Democrat voter. Thus, the 2nd-and-third-runners will emerge in the polls following this week’s debates in those same positions.

The third obvious winner is the one who “won” this debate in the only measure that matters: public perception. That person is clearly the new-age nut Marianne Williamson, who felt the need to tell an interviewer prior to the debate that she is not a “new-age nut.” Well, ok, then.

But she is very entertaining, unorthodox, and, unlike anyone else on that stage, she is the one person who was actually speaking extemporaneously, saying exactly what was on her mind and what she really, truly believes. As a result, it is no accident that, as of this writing, she is receiving 47%(!) of the vote in the live Drudge Report post-debate poll as the candidate who “won” the debate. It is no accident that Google says she was the most-searched candidate in 49 of 50 states as the debate was going on.

Here’s the other thing that sets Williamson apart from the rest of the Democrat field: She speaks in a way that most ordinary Americans can relate to. The TV pundits can all laugh about her comments about there being “dark spiritual forces” at work in American society today, but I don’t know how anyone can watch 90% of the putrid dreck coming out of Hollywood these days or read about the thousands of arrests and prosecutions of child-traffickers and child-porn distributors in recent months and think that that is not a true statement.

Williamson also speaks using uplifting language rather than the dark, depressing language of the socialism being pushed by everyone around her. She talks about things like potential and beauty and success and hopes and dreams instead of the wonkish polemics being offered by automatons like The Commie and Mayor Pete. She’s been talking about things like this in front of huge audiences for more than a quarter of a century, and she’s really good at it.

The DNC is scared to death of her and will no doubt rig the process to try to keep her out of the next rounds of debates, as they are already doing to Andrew Yang. But we should expect Williamson to get some sort of polling boost out of last night’s performance.

More than anything else, what last night’s debate showed us was the somewhat amazing weakness of the Democrat field of clowns, er, candidates, and how increasingly unlikely it is that anyone on that stage will have a prayer of beating President Trump in next year’s general election.

I’m cool with that.

That is all.

Some More Actual Facts About Baltimore

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

As our fake news media once again tries to paint President Donald Trump as a “racist” for daring to speak the truth about the rank squalor in a Democrat-run city, here is what the New York Times had to say about it in a piece published in March of this year, a piece titled…wait for it…”THE TRAGEDY OF BALTIMORE”:

“On April 27, 2015, Shantay Guy was driving her 13-year-old son home across Baltimore from a doctor’s appointment when something — a rock, a brick, she wasn’t sure what — hit her car. Her phone was turned off, so she had not realized that protests and violence had broken out in the city that afternoon, following the funeral of Freddie Gray, the 25-year-old man who drew national attention eight days earlier when he died after suffering injuries in police custody.

As she saw what was happening — fires being set, young people and police officers converging on the nearby vortex of the disorder — she pushed her son, Brandon, down in his seat and sped home.”

Oh.

“Guy grew up in an impoverished, highly segregated part of West Baltimore near what was now the focal point of the street clashes,”

Oh.

“Policing in Baltimore, Guy and many other residents believed, was broken, with officers serving as an occupying army in enemy territory — harassing African-American residents without cause, breeding distrust and hostility.”

Oh.

“But in the years that followed, Baltimore, by most standards, became a worse place. In 2017, it recorded 342 murders — its highest per-capita rate ever, more than double Chicago’s, far higher than any other city of 500,000 or more residents and, astonishingly, a larger absolute number of killings than in New York, a city 14 times as populous.”

Oh.

“…elected officials, from the governor to the mayor to the state’s attorney, struggled to respond to the rise in disorder, leaving residents with the unsettling feeling that there was no one in charge. With every passing year, it was getting harder to see what gains, exactly, were delivered by the uprising.”

Oh.

“It takes remarkable fortitude to remain an optimist about Baltimore today. I have lived in the city for 11 of the past 18 years, and for the last few I have struggled to describe its unraveling to friends and colleagues elsewhere.”

Oh.

“I have grown accustomed to scanning the briefs column in The Baltimore Sun in the morning for news of the latest homicides; to taking note of the location of the latest killings as I drive around town for my baseball coaching and volunteering obligations. In 2017, the church I attend started naming the victims of the violence at Sunday services and hanging a purple ribbon for each on a long cord outside. By year’s end, the ribbons crowded for space, like shirts on a tenement clothesline.”

Oh.

“Explaining all this to people outside Baltimore is difficult, not only because the experience is alien to those even in cities just up or down the Interstate from us (though a handful of cities elsewhere, like Chicago and St. Louis, have experienced their own waves of recent violence, albeit less dramatically than Baltimore).”

Oh.

The New York Times is obviously staffed by nothing but racists. It’s the only conclusion one can possibly reach based on the clamor going on in our fake news media today.

That is all.

Read the Key Quotes From William Barr Interview on Fox News

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Here are the highlights from AG William Barr’s interview with Bill Hemmer on Fox News Friday morning. This is a big deal.:

“This [The FBI spying on the Trump Campaign] was handled at the very senior levels of these agencies. It wasn’t handled in the ordinary way.”

“We have a number of investigations underway.”

“I’ve been trying to get answers to the questions, and I’ve found that a lot of the answers have been inadequate and some of the explanations I’ve gotten don’t hang together. In a sense, I have more questions today than when I first started.”

“People have to find out what the government was doing during that period. If we’re worried about foreign influence, for the very same reason we should be worried about whether government officials abuse their power and put their thumb on the scale. . . . I’m not saying that happened, but it’s something we have to look at.”

Cutaway to Devin Nunes:

“What you’re seeing is a real attorney general who is not going to take this nonsense that the Clinton Campaign started.” – Devin Nunes, in a cutaway from the interview.

“This is all about narrative-building by the left to cover up what they did. The media is culpable for this nonsense.” – Devin Nunes

“Bob Mueller knew the day he walked in the door that there was no evidence of Trump/Russia collusion.” – Devin Nunes

Back to Barr:

“Well, I think it’s a laughable charge, and it’s being made to discredit me, partly because they may be concerned about the outcome of the review. Obviously, you can look at my testimony and can see on its face that there is nothing inaccurate about it.”  William Barr, on San Fran Nan’s absurd charge that he lied to congress.

Hemmer: “When you took this job, did you think Democrats would make you a target?”

Barr: “Yes…but I felt I was in a position where this kind of criticism wouldn’t bother me much.”

Hemmer: What about the contempt charge from Congress?

Barr: Well, that’s part of the political game, the political circus that’s being played out. it doesn’t surprise me.”

Hemmer: You called it a circus. Do you feel threatened?

Barr: “No, I don’t feel threatened.

Hemmer: How do you think Brennan and Clapper handled the Russia investigation?

Barr: “I don’t want to speculate…I know some of the facts, but it’s premature to be discussing them.”

Hemmer: Can you tell us what the Steel Dossier had to do with their investigation?

Barr: “That’s one of the questions we’re going to have to look at. It’s a very unusual situation to have opposition research like that – especially one that on its face had a number of clear mistakes and a somewhat jejune analysis – and to use that to conduct counterintelligence against an American political campaign is a strange development. I’m not sure what role it played, but that’s something we’ll have to look at.”

Hemmer: Do you smell a rat in this?

Barr: “I don’t know if I’d describe it as a rat. I would just say that the answers I’m getting are not sufficient.

Hemmer: Republicans have said for months that Brennan, Clapper, maybe Comey have had it in for Trump. Do you believe that’s the case?

Barr: “Again, I’m not gonna speculate about their motives.”

Hemmer: In the period between election day and the inauguration, did anyone in government take action to justify their decisions?

Barr: “I think there were some very strange developments during that period – that’s one of the things we want to look into. Such as the handling of the meeting on January 6 between the intelligence chiefs and the President and the leaking of information subsequent to that meeting.”

Hemmer: Was that meeting in New York City? In Trump Tower?

Barr: “Yes.”

Hemmer: What questions do you have about what happened that day?

Barr: [smiling] “Again, I’m not gonna get into that. It’s one of the things we need to look at.”

Hemmer: Can you characterize how far advanced you are in looking into that meeting?

Barr: “We’re still in the stage of gathering all the information.”

Hemmer: Did you consider possible witness tampering on the part of President Trump once you got the Mueller Report?

Barr: “That’s a misconception. He [Don McGann] was not asked to change his testimony. That was a reaction to a press story in the New York Times that claimed that Trump had told him to fire Mueller. Trump was mad at the word “fire” and claimed he had never directed McGann to fire Mueller. And in fact, elsewhere the report does say that McGann was told by Trump to talk to Rosenstein to complain about conflicts of interest Mueller had and have Mueller removed for conflicts of interest.”

[Interview ends]

The Week in Review: What, Me Worry?

The Campaign Update Week in Review
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

[The week just past as chronicled on the @GDBlackmon Twitter feed.]

The week began with a perfect meme of fake conservative CNN commentator Anna Navarro sounding just like Joseph Goebbels. It only got better from there.

Jessica Fletcher accurately sums up our fake news media’s biased coverage of hostilities between Israel and Hamas, which were instigated entirely by Hamas, though you’d never know it from reading the Associated Press.

The Pantsuit Princess, who stole the 2016 Democrat nomination and coordinated with Barack Obama to try to steal the general election, was still running around claiming the election was stolen from her. Because projection is what Democrats do.:

Meanwhile, at the Met Gala in New York, they were rolling out the Coughing Crook’s new wardrobe as she preps her run for the 2020 nomination.:

Creepy Uncle Joe was fumbling through the Democrat Playbook in South Carolina, doing his best to scare the Black folks with the contemptible lie that Republicans want to “bring back Jim Crow” laws. *sigh*:

But hey, fumbling through the playbook got the old hack a big lead over the field, as The Commie and all the media’s “rising stars” tumbled around in his wake.:

Seriously, does anybody care?:

More layoffs were taking place at CNN, but no one who is actually responsible for the collapse of this fake news channels ratings will suffer.:

Rob Schneider proved that not everyone in the entertainment industry is a vain, vacuous nitwit.:

Former FBI official Kevin Brock summed up the precarious legal position of ex-FBI Director and current Teenage Drama Queen James Comey.:

Nancy Pelosi engages in outright seditionist speech on pretty much a daily basis now.:

No, seriously, what is it?:

True. But amazingly, he’s still not quite as dumb as Kirsten Gillibrand.:

CNN’s Royal Eunuch was shoved out in front of the cameras to assure all those CNN employees who’d just been laid off that they weren’t really laid off.:

Things were going so great with the economy and otherwise for President Donald Trump that the news-fakers at the New York Times decided they needed to reach into their bag of negative stuff and toss some of it out there. It didn’t work. It never does.:

Louisiana Senator John Kennedy was gettin’ real tired of James Comey’s bullshit.:

Greg Budell and I came up with a great new nickname for repugnant California Cong. Eric Swalwell: El Rey de las Gilipollas. Has a catchy ring to it. Swalwell’s so dumb he’ll probably take it as a compliment.:

Whenever she wasn’t talking sedition, San Fran Nan was talking gibberish. Sometimes, she did both at once.:

Jerrold Nadler said we are “in a constitutional crisis,” and it was obvious that everyone in the fake news media had gotten their daily DNC/Media Talking Points Memo well in advance.:

Meanwhile, ostensibly-Republican Senator Richard Burr was busy facilitating the Democrat Party’s ongoing efforts to destroy our country through the Senate Intelligence Committee, which he chairs.:

Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan nails it here.:

Measles epidemics were breaking out all over the world. Welcome to the joys of open borders, folks.:

Oily Rod Rosenstein finally left the Department of Justice this week. Never forget the truth about this skunk.:

If you missed this, you should read it now. Seriously, just read it.:

President Trump’s public approval ratings surged to an all-time high with so much #WINNING going on in our economy…:

…which had the fake news media in a bit of a panic.:

Rand Paul was not happy with Richard Burr. Not happy at all.:

If you don’t follow Titania McGrath on Twitter, you are really missing out.:

With Creepy Uncle Joe dominating the polls, it was a race to the bottom for the Democrat also-rans, never-weres and former “rising stars”.:

Could she take Juan Williams with her? Asking for a friend.:

The Teenage Drama Queen had himself a “townhall” show on CNN Thursday night. He’d have been better off huddling with his defense lawyers.:

Someone really should let the Teen Drama Queen know he has a right to remain silent.:

Jabba the Nadler announced on Friday that Robert Mueller would not be testifying before his Kangaroo Court Committee anytime soon. Most likely, Jabba is getting cold feet because he suddenly realized that Mueller would have to take questions from Republicans, too. That would not be a good thing for the Deep State Jabba is sworn to protect.:

Haven’t heard much from Ann Coulter lately – maybe this is why.:

If only it were true…:

Legend in her own mind Stacey Abrams – who continues to “identify” as the Governor of Georgia despite losing by 55,000 votes – took Trump Derangement Syndrome to new heights. You seriously cannot make this stuff up, folks.:

I never thought anyone could be more tiresome than John “Didja Know My Dad Was A Postman” Kasich. Bill Weld proved me wrong.:

The week ended with President Trump delivering another classic kill shot, this time at current media prom date Mayor Pete.:

No one who sees this mashup will ever be able to get it out of their mind.:

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Strategery, Democrat style. – So, first you create a Constitutional crisis by taking a vote of the House Judiciary Committee to hold the Attorney General of the United States in contempt over an absurd claim that he “lied” to the Committee a month ago (he didn’t), and that he won’t release a full, unredacted version of the Mueller Report to congress so the Democrats can leak parts of it to their pals at the New York Times (he can’t do that without committing a felony himself).

After you’ve done that, you send Jabba the Nadler out to tell the breathless, fawning fake news media that the country is in a Constitutional crisis:

Oh, wait, wrong clip. Here you go:

See how that works?  Odd, huh?

Let’s all remember that every step of what has happened with Jabba The Nadler’s committee this year was all pre-planned way back in November, just days after the election. That was when Sr. Editor at The Federalist Mollie Hemingway happened to be sitting across the aisle on an Amtrak train from Jabba, and overheard him having a loud telephone conversation in which he bragged about his and Nancy Pelosi’s and Adam Schiff’s plans to do everything you’ve seen taking place this year. She wrote this prescient piece on November 7, yet all of her “colleagues” in the fake news media continue to pretend this is all taking place organically, because the Democrats just can’t help doing what they’re doing because of the Orange Man Bad in the White House.

None of this is organic. Never forget that everything today’s Democrats do is Kabuki theater designed to deceive their shamefully dimwitted and uninformed voter base. They believe most Americans are hopelessly dense, clueless and uninformed of actual facts, and believe they can just lie to them with impunity as a means of obtaining and maintaining political power. Sadly, they are often correct.

It’s also important to remember these things as well:

  • Barr has already release about 95% of the Mueller Report to the public – Democrats say this is not enough;
  • Barr has already made 98% of the Mueller Report available for Democrat members of congress to view in a secure room without the ability to make copies of it that they could leak to the press. Not one Democrat has taken advantage of viewing it in the 3 weeks that it’s been available;
  • Barr legally cannot make 100% available to the public because some of the material in the Report is protected grand jury information. He knows if he allows skunks and snakes like Jabba and Adam Schiff and Eric Swallwell to have the full report, the full report will appear on the front page of the New York Times and the Washington Post the next morning;
  • The courts have consistently held that grand jury information must be withheld from the public in order to protect the rights of persons who offered testimony but were not pursued by said grand juries. In pursuing this information for the purpose of leaking it to the fake news media, congressional Democrats are actively attempting to harm U.S. citizens who are innocent of any crime.

That’s the reality of this silly situation, which has been intentionally and completely artificially constructed out of whole cloth by despicable congressional Democrats and their even more-despicable buddies in the news media.

Of course, by going down this particular road they have essentially left President Donald Trump with no choice but to exercise his right to executive privilege over not just the Mueller Report, but over any and all documents related to it. This is a right the President could have exercised throughout the abusive Mueller Witch Hunt, but chose not to do so in the name of cooperating with the Chief of the American Gestapo.

That the President now feels the need to exercise that right as it relates to the House of Representatives tells us exactly how abusive the despicable Democrats have become in their desperate effort to smear Attorney General William Barr.

One final reminder: The Democrats and their media toadies are desperate to smear Barr in the public consciousness because Barr has repeatedly promised to get to the bottom of the Obama Administration’s massive spying activities targeted at the Trump Campaign throughout 2016. They all know that if he succeeds in that quest, people are going to prison.

So this is not just a fight for raw political power: For many of these despicable people, it is a fight for survival. These are the reasons the Democrat Party is basically holding our nation hostage.

It is a fight they must lose if our nation is to maintain a system of real justice.

That is all.

Trump’s Tax Returns Show the Mark of a Great Businessman

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Hey, y’all, Donald Trump lost a lot of money in the 1980s! – That’s the big “bomb” the news-fakers at the New York Times dropped on President Donald Trump Tuesday night, as the paper somehow got hold of a decade of Trump’s tax returns. In all, the returns show that Trump’s real estate and casino businesses lost over a billion dollars during the 10-year period.

Well, for tax purposes, that is. Anyone familiar with how the tax code works, i.e., nobody who works for the NYTimes, would know that tax losses do not necessarily reflect actual business losses.  The President himself addressed this idiotic move by the Times on his Twitter account this morning:

As a businessman, Donald Trump has stated repeatedly and unfailingly anytime this stupid subject has been raised by our craven fake media that he took full advantage of the U.S. tax code in the conduct of his business ventures. The demented nutjobs at the NYTimes – whose own business, by the way, also takes full advantage of the U.S. tax code – wants you to think that this means Trump is somehow a really bad guy who was stealing from you personally.

But you know what this really makes Trump? A smart businessman.

Here’s why: Tax “write-offs” exist in the code for a reason. They exist because at some point in time the U.S. congress felt it would be advantageous to the U.S. economy to incentivize certain behaviors in the business world.

Anyone with any understanding of the history of the 1980s – which again would obviously exclude anyone working for the despicable NYTimes – would know that Ronald Reagan came into office in 1981 in the midst of a major recession created by Jimmy Carter and convinced congress to pass a major tax reform designed to boost economic growth.

The new tax code (which I understand because I was an accountant doing tax work in the 1980s) that came out of that reform effort included various incentives, like the old ACRS system of accelerated depreciation, designed to increase investment of new capital in the building and manufacturing of hard assets. You know, stuff like high rise office buildings and fancy high-rise condo developments in oh, say, Manhattan.

Like me, many of my readers live in Texas. Those of us over the age of, say, 50 will remember that the skylines of Houston and Dallas were completely transformed during the 1980s, with new high-rise buildings like the ones Donald Trump was building and buying and selling in Manhattan also being built in those Texas cities by major developers like Trammel Crow.

See, building big buildings like that and manufacturing all manner of hard goods benefits the economy by creating … wait for it, Democrats because I know you don’t know the answer here … JOBS. Oh, and that other thing all Democrats hate with a passion, ECONOMIC GROWTH.

How did that new tax code work out for America? Well – listen closely all you economic ignoramuses in the Democrat Party and the fake news media – it created the LONGEST AND BIGGEST ECONOMIC EXPANSION IN MODERN HISTORY.

Oh, hey, guess which individual’s business empire was in a better position than anyone else in America in 1981 to take full advantage of the incentives offered by this handy new tax code?

That would be a guy named Donald John Trump.

And that’s really all there is to know about this particular stupid non-story.

That is all.
