The Campaign Update Week in Review: The Democrats’ Mask Comes Off

The Evening Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Man, what a week this was.  The circus in Washington, DC reached an even higher fever-pitch than normal as the Democrat Party continues its efforts to literally destroy our nation from the inside out.

It was the week that the funeral of one of the biggest film box office stars of all-time, Burt Reynolds, received almost no notice at all from a fake news media that remains laser-focused on carrying out the orders of its Democrat benefactors.

It was a week in which the public got even more proof of the fact that a deep state cabal of DOJ/FBI Obama-era honchos tried to fix the 2016 election and then bring down a duly-elected president. As if we needed any more proof, that is.

It was the week in which President Trump finally moved to begin forcing the declassification of a raft of documents related to the deep state cabal’s activities, documents that various congressional committees have been trying to obtain for over a year.

Oh, but that’s not all that happened, not even close.  Here’s a bunch more stuff, starting with a parade of Democrat mendacity that exceeded even the Clarence Thomas hearings…

  • The Democrats told us we simply MUST “believe the woman” in the case against Brett Kavanaugh, a case in which the woman accuser has zero corroborating evidence and is, frankly, transparently lying.
  • Those same Democrats told us we simply MUST ignore the woman in the case against DNC Vice Chairman Keith Ellison, a case in which the accusing woman has all sorts of corroborating evidence because, well, Ellison’s a Democrat, so…
  • Those same Democrats also told us we simply MUST look the other way at Cory “I am Spartacus” Booker’s admission to groping a young girl at a party when he was in high school, even though he admitted it in a printed newspaper column that he himself wrote, because, um, well, you know, like, ummmm…he’s a Democrat, so…
  • Basically, by the end of the week, it had become obvious to pretty much everyone with firing brain synapses that the Democrats, as a Party, now actively oppose the Constitutional principle of a defendant’s presumption of innocence, if that defendant is a male Republican.  While many of us have recognized that reality for many years, that realization came as a real shock to many others.
  • Boy, just wait til all those people finally figure out that, as a Party, the Democrats are in fact opposed to the Constitution.  Period.  Because that’s the truth.

Oh, but it just got better where the Christine Ford allegations were concerned…

  • On Monday, Democrats were demanding – DEMANDING – that Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley schedule a special hearing at which Ms. Ford would surely love to testify.
  • By Tuesday, Democrats were wailing that the special hearing Grassley had scheduled was just tooooo soooooooooooon.
  • By Wednesday, Democrats were screaming Grassley and other Republicans were “bullying” Ms. Ford for expecting her to actually testify at the hearing that she and they had demanded.
  • By Thursday, Democrats and Ms. Ford’s lawyers were negotiating the terms under which Ms. Ford ‘might’ agree to testify.
  • By Friday, Democrats and Ms. Ford’s lawyers were reduced to claiming that Ms. Ford didn’t want to come to Washington to testify because she was like, all askeered of flying and stuff.
  • By Saturday, Sen. Grassley and Mitch McConnell still hadn’t figured out they were being totally played by the Democrats and Ms. Ford, and were still giving her extensions of time so they could continue to negotiate the terms of her appearance before the Committee, an appearance that Ms. Ford has absolutely no intention at all of making.

Sheesh.

  • Despite Grassley’s and McConnell’s cluelessness, Democrats were in panic mode by Friday, mainly because the HuffPo issued a poll that showed just 26% of those surveyed actually think Ms. Ford is “credible.”
  • So the newsfakers at the New York Times accommodated their Democrat masters by trying to change the narrative going into the weekend, issuing a story – based only on anonymous sources – claiming that Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein had proposed wearing a wire to his meetings with President Trump in mid-2017, and also proposed trying to have Trump declared unfit under the 25th Amendment.
  • Whether true or not, this narrative shift is a transparent effort by the Ds and the fake news media to provoke the President into firing Rosenstein prior to Election Day, so that the media can then portray the move as some sort of abuse of power.
  • While Rosenstein definitely needs firing – and has for a long, long time – so far, the President has avoided taking that particular bait.  After Election Day, though, all bets are off.

Lots of other stuff happened this week, too…

  • Michael Moore’s new Trump-bashing movie bombed at the box office.  Oh, darn.
  • The Emmy Awards show was filled with anti-Trump messages, and as a result received the lowest ratings in its entire history.  Gosh, no one could have seen that coming.
  • A rookie Republican candidate defeated a veteran Democrat pol in a special election in Texas Senate District 19, a heavily-Democrat district that the Coughing Crook won by 12 points in 2016.  But, Blue Wave, or something.
  • Ben and Jerry’s announced that it was introducing a “variety of Democrat-Inspired ice cream flavors.” No word if the flavors range from Blue (Wave) Berry to #MeToo Munch to PussyHatPeach to Depravity Delight, but it seems likely. Oh, goody.
  • Actor James Woods was banished from Twitter for re-tweeting a meme that makes fun of Democrat beta males, on the hysterically absurd grounds that by doing so he might “impact an election.”  By that standard, the nitwits who run Twitter would have to ban every major media outlet that serves as nothing but a propaganda mouthpiece for the Democrat Party, which is pretty much every one of them outside of Fox News.  Holy crap.

What else?  hmmmm…oh, yeah…

  • Claims for unemployment benefits fell to another 49-year low.
  • The Dow Jones Industrials closed at an all-time high level for the 100th time since Trump was elected to the presidency.
  • The economy is in fact so strong and private-sector jobs so abundant that, for the first time since 2005, the U.S. Army missed its recruiting goal for fiscal year 2018, which closes on September 30.

God Bless America.

That is all.

President Trump Drops the Mother of all Leverage Bombs as the Week Ends

The Evening Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Event #1 – The newsfakers at the New York Times suddenly decided they needed to change the overriding narrative heading into the weekend, issuing an obvious bit of #fakenews claiming – according to anonymous sources, of course – that Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein wanted to wear a wire to his meetings in mid-2017 with President Donald Trump, and also told Robert Mueller that he could recruit cabinet members to invoke the 25th Amendment as a way to remove Trump from office.  Rosenstein blasted back with an outright, unqualified denial of both claims within a few minutes of the piece’s publication, the lack of weasel words indicating that the slimy Deputy AG is actually telling the truth for once.

What does this tell us?  It tells us that the Democrats are very nervous going into this weekend with where the antics of Dianne Feinstein and Christine Ford and her army of expensive leftwing activist lawyers have led them.  Because we know for sure that the fake news media never voluntarily changes the overriding narrative if the Democrats are happy with the current one.  That just doesn’t happen.

So, why did it happen today?  My theory is that the release of a very inconvenient poll by the extreme leftwing Huffington Post this morning created a bit of a panic among Democrats, who no doubt believed they were winning this week to that point.  That poll shows that just 26% of those surveyed believe that Ms. Ford is “credible.”

Coming as it does after a full week of the most disgusting full court press of character assassination seen in a quarter of a century, and a full year of the #MeToo movement brainwashing the public that you simply must believe the woman out of hand in this sort of situation, that result has got to be an extreme shock to the Democrat system.

Event #2 – Then there were these two tweets this morning from the account of President Trump:

…and…

Dim-witted reporters all over the fake news media portrayed this as the President backing down in the face of still more stonewalling by Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray.  But I’ve been studying these tweets all day, and they look to me like a pretty impressive display of negotiating and leverage deployment on the part of Mr. Trump.

Let’s take them sentence-by-sentence because every sentence contains a directed message:

First sentence:  “I met with the DOJ concerning the declassification of various UNREDACTED documents.”  Note the emphasis on “UNREDACTED”.  Remember, the President has these documents in-hand, has known for many months exactly what these documents contain, and more importantly who they will embarrass and likely incriminate, including Rosenstein himself in all likelihood.  His threat to have them issued in unredacted form is a threat to the freedom of the Deputy AG and many others, like Comey, Strzok, Page and Brennan.

In this relationship, just as in his relationship on tariffs with Mexico, Canada, the EU and China, Trump holds all the leverage.  That sentence reminds all these skunks and snakes that he has absolute authority to release the documents in unredacted form at any time he sees fit.

Next sentence:  “They agreed to release them but stated that so doing may have a perceived negative impact on the Russia probe.”  Who do you think that sentence is directed towards?  Bob Mueller, you think?  Yes.  These deep state scumbags have held Mueller over Trump’s head as a threat for more than a year now, and Trump uses the word “perceived” to let everyone know he does not agree with that assessment and will not hesitate to move forward on his own if need be.  He also reminds Mueller that these documents will no doubt be damaging to him personally  as well as his investigation, and that it is time to move quickly to wrap things up.

Next sentence:  “Also, key Allies’ called to ask not to release.”  That would be London and Australia calling, since they know the full truth about their involvement in the 2016 spying on the Trump campaign will be extremely embarrassing.  So, Trump is reminding them of the leverage he holds on them as well, which could come in handy in some future negotiation.

Next 2 sentences:  “Therefore, the Inspector General………has been asked to review these documents on an expedited basis.” …and… “I believe he will move quickly on this (and hopefully other things which he is looking at).”  So, you agree to tuck it safely over with Michael Horowitz and pressure him to hurry up not only on getting the declass review done, but also on his final report on the whole FISA Abuse scandal, which should be close to finalized in any event.  Again, a classic application of leverage.

Next sentence:  “In the end I can always declassify if it proves necessary.”  Another unambiguous reminder that he has absolute authority to move forward, that he has the unredacted documents in his possession, and that he won’t hesitate to move ahead if the stonewalling continues.

Final sentence:  “Speed is very important to me – and everyone!”  It’s important to the President because he wants these documents out quickly.  It’s important to everyone else involved because he held back from declassifying a bunch of other documents – like the Rosenstein memos to Mueller authorizing and expanding the Special Counsel investigation and the FBI 302 forms from the January 2017 interview of General Mike Flynn – that might be even more damaging and incriminating to these bad actors, and which he could move forward on if the stonewalling continues.

This wasn’t President Trump backing off – it was President Trump reminding everyone exactly who has all the leverage in this situation.

That is all.

The Times’ Haley Hit Piece Reinforces Americans’ Hatred of the Fake News Media

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Was that a bad pun, or are you just really that dumb? – I swear I just heard a TV reporter standing in knee-deep water on a flooded street somewhere in North Carolina say, without a smile on his face or a trace of humor in his voice, “This is a fluid situation.”

Let the Campaign Update take you on a walk through Bad Television History. – Incidentally, every time you see one of these reporters tell you “Whatever you do, do not go out into this weather!” while he himself is standing outside in 100 mph winds and blinding sheets of rain, remember we have Dan Rather to blame for this.

Yes, friends, way back in 1961, as Hurricane Carla was making her landfall along the Texas Gulf Coast, fake news icon Dan Rather was just a cub reporter at the local CBS affiliate in Houston.  It was he who got the bright idea to grab a camera man and go out into the hurricane itself to do a live report, in which he warned Houstonians to do what he said, not what he was doing.

That reporting got him attention from the high muckety-mucks at CBS’s national office, and the rest is fake news history.  Since that time, thousands of frustrated local reporters have tried to emulate Rather’s path to fake news glory, and about 99.9% of them have miserably failed, succeeding only in annoying the viewers of their local TV stations and endangering themselves, their cameramen and their production crews in the process.  That’s a legacy to be proud of, if you’re a raging narcissist like Mr. Rather.

Friday’s Outrage Mob moment, brought to you by the fakenewsers at the New York Times. – It has been quite obvious for going on two years now that if you are high-performing senior person in the Donald Trump Administration, the fake news media, led by the New York Times and CNN, is going work overtime to find some way to smear you.

The 10-month daily smear campaign by the Times finally succeeded in forcing EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt’s resignation earlier this summer and other similar campaigns have been unsuccessfully mounted against Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Neilsen, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke, Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, and many others.  In fact, if you’re a high-level Trump official and you haven’t been subjected to a media smear, you might want to wonder about your job security.

No Trump appointee has performed her job at a higher level than UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, who has done a truly stellar job of representing U.S. interests before that collection of international thugs, despots and general ne’er-do-wells.  Since she’s doing such a great job, the fake news hacks at the New York Times decided to mount a smear of her reputation on Friday, running a hit piece whose headline claimed that Ms. Haley was spending more than $52,000 for curtains for her “new” official UN Ambassador residence, which the Times story attempted to portray as some extravagant upgrade over the Obama-era residence.

Oh, the Outrage Mob on Twitter and other social media went nuts over the story, with thousands of vacuous social justice warriors and assorted other nitwits and soulless ghouls tweeting stuff like “OMG, can you, like, believe, like, Nikki Haley is, like, you know, wasting our taxpayer dollars on curtains and, like, stuff?”

Of course, none of the members of the Outrage Mob bothered to read past the Times’ tweet and headline, into the bowels of the story itself.  If they had, they would have found, buried in the story’s sixth paragraph, the fact that the curtains were custom ordered and paid for by the Barack Obama Administration, which had also made the decision to move the U.N. Ambassador’s office out of the pricey Waldorf Towers to their current location in 2016, long before anyone had any inkling that Ms. Haley would become our UN Ambassador.

It took half a day, but the Times finally reluctantly issued a correction to the story mid-afternoon, revising its headline and including an editor’s note just below the headline.  But of course, the damage had already been done as hundreds of thousands of misinformed Americans will never see the correction, a fact of which the Times’ reporters and their editors were no doubt fully aware when they knowingly rushed an absurdly inaccurate story into print.

These are the very same people, mind you, who wail and moan and demonize anyone who criticizes our fake national news media.

Meanwhile, over at NBC’s hurricane coverage, it’s time to rile up the SJW Mob. – And hey, if you’re NBC and trying to horn your way into this Outrage Mob act, but having a hard time breaking through the New York Times/CNN Wall of News Fakery, what are do you do?

Why, you spice up your hurricane coverage with an idiotic, evidence-devoid claim that some poor Coast Guard guy who is working his butt of to save peoples’ lives “appears to give” the “white power sign” in the video linked here.

Gosh, it’s so darn hard to understand why so many millions of Americans – a number that grows every day – literally hate our news media.  What could the reason possibly be?

Just another day in the fake news media is part of the deep state America.

That is all.

A Week of Democrat/Media Hysteria Leaves Trump Unscathed

The Evening Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

As we come to the end of this week, a week during which the Democrat/Media Axis of Propaganda pulled out the biggest guns it has and fired them until their chambers were smoking, fake journalists and Democrat politicians must all be looking at one another and saying, “what in the hell did any of that do for us?”

It was a week literally filled with events that D.C. establishment wise men and women solemnly pronounced to be “the beginning of the end for Donald Trump.”  The first such event was the stunningly politicized funeral service last Saturday for John McCain, during which the likes of Joe Biden, George W. Bush and even McCain’s daughter Meghan took potshots at the President of the United States in what were supposed to be eulogies for the deceased Senator.  That was all just six days ago, and yet the 27 separate and distinct news cycles that have taken place since then make it all seem like a faded and distant memory.

The “beginning of the end for Donald Trump” the very next day, Sunday, September 2, was going to be the newest false narrative to explain why the deep state cabal within the Obama DOJ and FBI did all the illegal spying on the Trump campaign throughout 2016.  Invented out of whole cloth by the fakenewsers at the New York Times, this latest in a long line of fairy tale efforts to justify all the law-breaking hilariously blamed the entire thing on a failed effort by the Cabal to “turn” Russian Oligarch Oleg Deripaska.  Deripaska, of course, is the Russian source for most of the absurd fantasies that form the vast majority of the fake “Trump Dossier.”  Literally no one outside of the offices at the Times took this latest work of high fiction seriously, and it has been pretty much entirely forgotten as I type this a mere 5 days later.

That brings us to Monday, which was also Labor Day, when the “beginning of the end for Donald Trump” was the newest book from noted political fabulist Bob Woodward.  No way can Trump survive this one, said everyone at CNN/NBC/CBS/ABC/MSNBC/TheWashingtonPost/NewYorkTimes in unison!  But here we sit, just 3 days after the news of the book’s pending release broke, along with what were supposed to be damaging outtakes from it, and literally no one is talking about it.

Of course, the book’s biggest problem is what the biggest problem always is with any Woodward book:  Its “sources” are all anonymous, despite all of the author’s braggadocio about having a “first-hand source” for every allegation in the tome.  Given that Woodward has been caught making all manner of things up out of whole cloth in his previous works of political fiction, no one has any real obligation – or really and reason – to believe him now.

On Tuesday, the next edition of “the beginning of the end of Donald Trump” was the Senate Judiciary hearings over his nominee to the Supreme Court, Brett Kavanaugh.  Democrats and their media agents began the hearings Tuesday morning with anti-Trump guns a-blazing, carefully-scripted joint talking points and a hearing room filled with paid protesters.  Unsurprisingly, the disgraceful spectacle put on by the gang of Democrat/media thugs had the effect of turning off a huge number of Americans, and by mid-day on Wednesday, even some of the Democrat committee members had grown visibly nervous about it all.

Another dud.

On Wednesday, the fakenewsers at the New York Times were firing their fake news guns one more time, this time with a unprecedented anonymous op/ed from an alleged “senior Administration official” that detailed the existence of an embedded gang of anti-Trump functionaries who are working to undermine President Trump and his priorities.  In other words, the op/ed details the very existence of the Deep State in the pages of the freaking New York Times.  What a bunch of boobs these people are.  Thus, this particular “beginning of the end for Donald Trump” ended almost before it even began.

Yesterday, as detailed in this morning’s Campaign Update, goofy New Jersey Senator Cory “Jazz Hands” Booker decided he was gonna be the one to bring the “beginning of the end for Donald Trump” by staging a hysterical in-committee fight over the release of a set of Kavanaugh memos from 17 years ago that were supposed to prove the Judge is a racist.  But then we all read the memos and it turned out that they simply proved the opposite – that Judge Kavanaugh argued against the implementation of racial profiling in the wake of the 2001 9/11 attacks.  To make matters worse for Senator Jazz Hands, it also turned out that the memos had been approved for the release hours before his staged rant, a fact that he was actually well aware of.

Pop.

So here we sit at the end of this eventful week, and President Trump is not only still standing, he is thriving.  The President’s polling numbers actually rose as the week went along, and the biggest news on Friday was the August jobs numbers, which exceeded the expectations of all the “experts” yet again.

Oh, and Barack Obama made a big speech bashing Trump around noon on Friday, an event signaling his return to actively campaigning for Democrat congressional candidates.  This should make those candidates cower in terror given that their party went from a clear, unchallenged majority national party with super-majorities in both houses of congress when Obama came into office in 2009, to a clear, fading regional minority party holding not a single lever of political power when Obama cleared out of the White House on January 20, 2017.

What this week of Democrat/Media hysteria proved more than anything else is that they still have not figured out why Donald Trump won in 2016, and they still have no clue how to deal with him.

This is Donald Trump, #WINNING for America.

That is all.

The New York Times Proves the Deep State is Alive and Well (Oops)

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

You know it’s bound to happen. – Hey, anyone know when Netflix will have the first 3 seasons of John McCain’s Funeral uploaded for binge watching?  Asking for a friend…

Your fake news media in action! – The New York Times last week:  Ran a piece contending that the Deep State is just an alt-right “conspiracy theory.”

The New York Times this week:  Ran an anonymous op/ed, supposedly written by a “senior administration official,” who says that he is part of a cabal of government employees embedded in the executive branch working to undermine the Trump presidency.

ummmmm…yeah, that’s the definition of the term “Deep State,” guys and gals.

So, let’s do some Q&A related to this:

Q:  Has the NYTimes ever pulled a stunt like this in an effort to undermine any other president?

A:  No.  Well, not in modern times, anyway.  Who knows what they might have done the last time our country went through a round of yellow journalism like the one we’re currently experiencing, back around the turn of the 19th century?

Q: Would the NYTimes have run such a piece from a Deep State official embedded in the Obama Administration?

A: You’re kidding, right?  Seriously, this is a joke?  No?  Look, if anyone doing this to Obama had identified himself to the editorial board of the NYTimes, the Times would have publicly outed him immediately and referred his case to the U.S. Attorneys at the Southern District of New York.

Q: How “Senior” is this official?

A: Good question.  There are more than 5,000 political appointees in the executive branch of government, and many times more than that SES (Senior Executive Service) level career bureaucrats at the GS-13 level or above.  Given how loosey-goosey the fakenewsers at the Times play with words these days (I laughed out loud when someone on Twitter tried to claim they followed “rules” on such things last night), it could be any one of these tens of thousands of people.  The chances that this is someone truly “senior”, i.e., a cabinet-level official or a direct report, are extremely low.  It’s far more likely that this person some associate assistant deputy to the associate deputy assistant to the director of some obscure bureau.

Bottom line:  This person could be anybody, or, given that the piece was obviously written by a professional writer, it could also be something the Times made up out of whole cloth.  It might well have been written by the Times’ resident Clinton hack Maggie Haberman or any number of other ethics-devoid fakenewsers employed by the fake newspaper.

Or hey, it might be the work of Bob Woodward, who is extremely gifted at spinning yarns.  We can eliminate ex-FBI Director James Comey, because the piece doesn’t read like something penned by a teenage drama queen, and Hillary Clinton, since it is not filled with myriad excuses about why she lost the 2016 election.

Other than that, it could be almost anyone.  At the end of the day, who cares?  This is just the 1,001st effort by the fake news media to dummy up something that is “the beginning of the end for Donald Trump.”  A week from today, no one will remember it happened.

Meanwhile, up under the Big Top on Capitol Hill… – So damn much happened yesterday at various hearings on the Hill that it’s hard to know where to start:

  • The CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, testifed before a House committee, and did his best imitation of Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, answering pretty much no questions honestly, and repeatedly using dodges like “we must do better,” “it was a glitch in our algorithm,” and the always handy “I’ll look into that and get back to you.  Note to Congress:  He isn’t going to get back to you.
  • Facebook’s President Sheryl Sandberg also testified at the same hearing, and employed the same tactics.  In direct contrast to Zuckerberg, who looked spookily like a poorly-programmed robot at his own hearing, Ms. Sandberg at least projected the appearance of being a real human being.  Progress.
  • When a right-wing reporter named Laura Loomer tried to disrupt the hearing, shouting complaints about being shadow-banned and suspended on Twitter, Missouri Republican Billy Long, a professional auctioneer by trade, drowned her out by shouting rapid-fire auctioneer stuff into his microphone as she was being escorted out of the room by security.
  • Someone needs to let Rep. Long into the Senate Judiciary Committee room and give him a mic.  The pre-planned constant disruptions by paid “protesters” continued during the second day of hearings over Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court. Some of the disruptions came from the same people who had been “arrested” for doing the same thing on Tuesday.
  • By late morning, even some of the Democrats on the committee, realizing that it wasn’t doing them any good, appeared to be getting tired of the nonsense.  Their tiredness showed in their questioning of the nominee, which was painfully scripted, rote and straight out the highly-predictable Democrat playbook.
  • While the dreary proceedings were taking place inside the hearing room, outside the room lurked radio talk show host Alex Jones, who was also very predictably pulling all sorts of crazy stuff.  At one point, Jones confronted Senator Marco Rubio, calling him a “snake” and a “frat-boy” and accusing him – incorrectly – of wanting to “beat me up.”  Rubio responded by telling Jones “I don’t know who you are,” which, whether true or not, Jones obviously took as an insult.  Then, in Rubio’s next breath, he said “I don’t really go on your website,” indicating he does know who Jones is after all.  So confusing.

Incidentally, in case you’re wondering what happens to these protesters when they’re “arrested,” here you go:  They are taken to a nearby police station, booked, assessed a fine of $50, and released.  That’s it.

At the end of the day, what it all added up to was the Democrats getting exactly what they wanted:  Capitol Hill was your basic three-ring circus.  Expect more of the same today.

Just another day in three-ring circus America.

That is all.

The Fake News Just Keeps Getting Faker, Part II

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Next comes the Feats of Strength competition. – The Season of Festivus apparently kicked off on Saturday (Google it if you never watched “Seinfeld”), as the annual Airing of Grievances took place at the funeral for John McCain.  Naturally, given that this was a gathering of pretty much every major figure in the DC Swamp today, all the grievances were targeted at the one man who wasn’t in attendance, President Donald Trump, who was playing golf as the Grievances were being aired.

Thus far we’ve had no word on when the competing Festivus For The Restofus will take place, or where.

Speaking of funeral-related shenanigans, Bishop Charles Ellis III, who officiated over the 9-hour service for the late, great Aretha Franklin, sort of apologized late Saturday for creating a controversy by apparently groping the young pop singer Ariana Grande up at the dias, right in front of the whole world.  The groping was of course captured on video from about a dozen different angles, was obviously intentional, went on for quite awhile and caused Ms. Grande visible distress and discomfort.

The Bishop says it was all unintentional, because of course he does:

“It would never be my intention to touch any woman’s breast. … I don’t know, I guess I put my arm around her,” Ellis said in comments to US media confirmed to AFP on Saturday.

“Maybe I crossed the border, maybe I was too friendly or familiar, but again, I apologize.”

Yeah, sure, uh-huh.

The Bishop made things even worse for himself by telling an incredibly stupid joke as he introduced Ms. Grande, saying  “When I saw Ariana Grande on the program, I thought that was a new something at Taco Bell.”  The 25 year-old singer is of Italian descent.

The fake news just keeps on getting faker at the desperate New York Times. – My goodness, it has finally come to this.  The fake journalists at the New York Times who have coordinated with all the bad actors in the FBI and DOJ in their efforts to first prevent Donald Trump to win the presidency and then to keep building a case for his impeachment, have devised yet another new narrative for the whole fiasco.  It is an obvious, transparent effort to get their deep state cohorts off the hook as the walls of eventual justice continue to close in around them.

In this latest narrative, everything the FBI and DOJ cabal did related to the Trump Campaign throughout 2016 turns out now to have been an effort to “turn” Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska, an effort the fakest fake newspaper in America claims was initially directed at obtaining “information on Russian organized crime and, later, on possible Russian aid to President Trump’s 2016 campaign.”  In this newest narrative – about the 5th or 6th new narrative the fake media establishment has spun since the truth began coming to light about 18 months ago – Deripaska, a well-known part of the Russian criminal establishment – was able to easily obtain visas necessary to conduct his business in the U.S. from the Obama DOJ because, why, they wanted to turn him.  And they coordinated efforts with Deripaska throughout the fall of 2016 and treated the fake Trump Dossier which was largely compiled with Deripaska’s unsupported accusations as unbridled fact before the FISA court because, golly, they wanted to turn him.

This newest in a long line of media-invented narratives is necessary because all the previous false narratives have crashed up on the shoals of harsh reality.  This one will as well, because it is even more absurd than the incredibly specious tale of an off-hand remark by the pathetic campaign hanger-on George Papadopoulous to some guy in Australia having generated a formal FBI counter-intelligence investigation that lasted for months.

C’mon, man.  Be serious.

But look, these fake journalists can’t be serious, because many of them are actually in personal jeopardy in all of this.  They weren’t just “reporting” on all the Cabal’s dirty dealings, they were active participants in them.  The reality is if the skunks and snakes within the government ever begin to be brought to justice, that process will inevitably extend to the skunks and snakes at the New York Times and many other fake news media outlets.

So they have to keep spinning, tale after tale, diversion after diversion, narrative after narrative, all in a desperate effort to keep the whole dirty episode from completely unraveling.  Their problem, however, is that the facts of the dirty dealings are already mostly on the public record and just waiting for someone, anyone in a position of authority at DOJ to perform a real investigation into them.

It is becoming increasingly apparent that the current Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, has no intention of ever allowing anyone to engage in such an investigation on his watch, but the President has made it clear that, absent some real action, Sessions’ watch is likely to end shortly after Election Day, barely two months from now.  That isn’t much time for the fake news media to get some – any – viable narrative in place.

But this narrative will fail just like all of its predecessors have failed for one overriding reason:  It is fake news, and facts are stubborn things.

Just another day in the fake news just keeps getting faker America.

That is all.

Sunday in Politics: An Endless Parade of Nitwittery

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

An endless parade of nitwittery. – Fox News Sunday set a new low for its “panel of experts” yesterday, presenting viewers with a four-person panel that contained both Juan Williams and ex-Obama State Department spokesperson Marie Harf.  Anyone who watched the panel through its two full segments was assured of losing at least 15 IQ points.  But no worries – the IQ loss can be regained simply by reading anything written by Victor Davis Hanson.  The succinct little piece linked here would make a great start.

CNN remains the fake news media king of Nitwittery. – After it was revealed that the Islamic terrorists who were training a small army of kidnapped children out in the wilds of New Mexico were planning on mounting an assault on an Atlanta hospital, all the fake journalists at all the fake news outlets went into a frenzied effort to find some way to spin the story sympathetically towards the…wait for it…TERRORISTS.  Because, of course they did.

The fake news hacks at CNN were, as generally seems to be the case, the clear winners in this battle to come up with the worst take imaginable:

Yes, friends, the five mostly unrelated Islamic terrorists who were training the kidnapped children have now morphed into a “family” struggling with life without access to the 24-hour fakery of cable news.  Can there be any real doubt that CNN’s fellow fake newsers will award an Emmy to whichever fake journalist came up with this highly-creative line of BS?  No, no doubt at all.

Fake news media Nitwittery extends to Twitwittery. – Not to be outdone by her main competition at CNN, notorious New York Times Hillary Clinton lapdog Maggie Haberman issued this hilariously disingenuous tweet in response to one President Trump had sent out earlier in the day.

Mind you, Haberman is fake-mourning the very same John McCain who her current employer and most of the rest of the fake national news media slandered mercilessly throughout the 2008 presidential campaign, characterizing him at various times as a rapist, a spouse abuser, a misogynist, a racist and a madman.  But now that his dead body can be used to take absurdly cheap shots at a President Haberman hates, she’s all about the “mourning” of the very same man.

These people are disgusting ghouls.

The fake media Nitwittery even went international. – But wait, there’s more!  The London Daily Mail has now dictated the new fake media rule that because a politician who hated President Trump’s very existence has died, President Trump must stop playing golf!  I swear I don’t make this stuff up:

Honestly, could the nitwittery and dishonesty get more absurd than this?

Oh, yes.  Yes it can.

The fake Senator Flake tops them all. – McCain’s fellow Arizona RINO Senator, Jeff Flake, told an interviewer that the best way to honor McCain is as follows:  “By seeing the good in our opponents, by being quick to forgive, by realizing that there’s something more important than ourselves, to put service, you know, over and above our self-interest.”

This would be the exact same Senator Jeff Flake who just got back from a three-week vacation in Africa, which he took in order to prevent the timely confirmation of a raft of President Trump’s judicial nominees.  With McCain lingering on his death bed, Flake was able to deny the Senate Republicans the crucial 50th vote necessary to move these nominees and several pieces of legislation past the stonewalling Democrats.  But that did not prevent him from, upon his belated return to the U.S., lecturing the rest of us to put “service, you know, over and above our self-interest.”  Creepy, disgusting hypocrite.

No wonder the guy has a 15% approval rating among Arizona voters.

Just another day in the Nitwittery is not limited to our fake news media America.

That is all.

Brennan, Strzok, Clapper and our #Fakenews Nation

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

“What in the wide, wide world of sports is a-goin’ on here?” – Man, the Campaign Update goes on vacation for 10 days, and you people let all hell break loose.  Well, ok, all hell breaks loose pretty much all the time in our fake news media society these days, but the past week and 3 days seemed more active than usual.

Just for fun, let’s do a quick review of the highlights that took place while yours truly and the little wifey were minding our own business on the high seas:

Super Duper FBI Agent and aspiring spawn of Satan Peter Strzok got canned.  Yes, friends, Jeff Sessions apparently woke up from one of his 3-week naps early last week and realized that he had forgotten to hit ‘Send’ on that FIRE PETER STRZOK RIGHT FREAKING NOW! memo to FBI Director Christopher Wray that he had drafted way back in April.  Now, if he can just get around to drafting – and sending – that INDICT PETER STRZOK RIGHT FREAKING NOW! memo to John Huber, we can begin to regain some semblance of confidence that our justice system still functions to some extent.

Super Duper FBI Agent and aspiring spawn of Satan Peter Strzok got rich.  Well, ok, not exactly rich, but he did get a nice supplement to his investment fund by setting up a GoFundMe account and watching with glee as thousands of Democrats lined up to give him money, proving yet again that PT Barnum was right when he said there’s a sucker born every minute.

Speaking of the justice system, the jury in the Paul Manafort trial went into its deliberations late last week after the defense rested without calling any witnesses.  The defense believes it was able to poke enough holes in the prosecution’s case prove reasonable doubt, which may well be true given that the jury sent a note to Federal District Judget T.S. Ellis requesting him to define the term for them one more time.  Right after that happened…

The fake news media tried to doxx the Manafort jury!  Yes, friends, the very same fake news media that doesn’t want you all to think it is the enemy of the people proved beyond any doubt at all that it is indeed the enemy of the people by suing the court to obtain the names and addresses of the jury members within hours of it becoming obvious that at least some jury members were thinking about acquitting Manafort due to reasonable doubt.  Given that CNN and the New York Times were among the media outlets making the request, there can be no doubt whatsoever – reasonable or otherwise – that the names and addresses of all of the jurors would be leaked to Antifa and other violent leftist groups within moments of their being obtained.  Does anyone really believe the likes of Sarah Jeoung or Chris Cuomo – who actually endorsed Antifa on air  last week – would even give it a second thought?  Thankfully, Judge Ellis told the fake news purveyors to pound sand, perhaps because he has personally experienced numerous death threats himself and requires round-the-clock security thanks to his involvement in this trial.

John Brennan lost his security clearance.  The former CIA Director and obvious role model for the evil Dar Adal character on “Homeland” initially claimed he was being “silenced,” and then went to the fakest fake journalist he could find – MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow – to give him a reliably softball interview on national television.  During that interview, the guy who had accused the President of the United States of committing “treason” for meeting with the leader of Russia claimed he had never accused the POTUS of committing “treason.” He also told Maddow that he doesn’t “think I’m being political at all.”  Even Maddow smirked at that one.  Brennan got paid by MSNBC to do all of that, by the way.  No wonder President Trump wanted to elevate this guy’s public profile – he is the perfect foil.

James Clapper tossed John Brennan under the bus.  In a desperate bid to save his own security clearance – which he has been blatantly monetizing thanks to his contract with CNN for the last 18 months – the former Director of National Intelligence went on CNN Sunday and tossed his old colleague under the bus, saying that Brennan’s outspokenness was becoming an issue.  Remember that Clapper is also the guy who tossed Barack Hussein Obama under the bus just a few weeks ago when he admitted to CNN that all of the spying efforts on the Trump Campaign by the FBI and other intelligence agencies were instigated at Obama’s request.  Clapper is truly the king of CYA.

Keith Ellison got accused of abusing multiple women and the fake news media couldn’t be bothered to report it.  No surprise here, since Ellison is only the second-in-command at the DNC, which dictates the daily talking points to the fake news media.  Or maybe it’s the other way around.  At any rate, expecting NBC, CBS, ABC, or CNN to report on Ellison’s abuse is like expecting a wife to testify against her husband in a criminal trial.  Not gonna happen, at least not voluntarily.

The New York Times faked up another story on a slow news day.  On Saturday, the fake reporters and fake editors at the fake New York Times got bored and decided to fake up a story about how White House Counsel Don McGahn had spent 30 hours “cooperating” with Special Counsel Robert Mueller in his investigation.  This set off a clamor among the entire fake media – which basically just cuts and pastes whatever the NYTimes spews out on its pages – that lasted the rest of the weekend.  Analogies to Watergate and John Dean were ubiquitous.  The problem with the story is that it’s very old news, simply a re-wording and recycling of information that had been made public months ago by none other than President Trump himself, who had authorized McGahn’s cooperation in the Fall of 2017, in an attempt to speed Mueller’s efforts along.  And the media wonders why half of America considers it to be the enemy.

The media outlets who claim they don’t conspire against President Trump…conspired against President Trump.  No kidding, on either Tuesday or Wednesday of last week (I was on a boat having too much food and wine so the days kind of all blend together at this point) more than 300 newspapers joined together to pen editorials bashing President Trump.  They thought they were doing something special, but this is what ordinary Americans out here in Flyover Country think of as your average Tuesday or Wednesday – or Thursday or Friday or Saturday or Sunday or Monday, for that matter.

Ok, so those are just some of the highlights that took place over the last 10 days.  I’d fill you in on what the little wifey and I did on our vacation, but it mostly had to do with food and wine and seeing a couple of Broadway productions and getting on and off a big boat and this is getting a little long and I don’t want CNN or the NYTimes doxxing any of the wonderful folks we dealt with along the way.

It’s great to be back.

That is all.

Sarah Jeong is Nothing Special

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Here’s what you need to understand about the disgusting racist, cop-hating Sarah Jeong and why the New York Times refuses to reverse its decision to hire her to be part of its editorial board:  She’s boring.  She’s passe’.  She’s nothing special.  She is in fact par for the course when it comes to what passes for thought among the young, radical left these days.  This is why the people at the Times were no doubt shocked that there was the slightest controversy over her hiring – in their bubble, there’s nothing controversial about her.

Millennials like Sarah Jeong have been literally, if poorly, educated by your public school system and university culture (she’s of course an Ivy Leaguer) to believe white men are the cause of all bad things everywhere in the world.  Nevermind that Ms. Jeong’s parents came to this country from South Korea, and that a United States Armed services made up overwhelmingly of white men (yes, I know there were also many brave minorities and women in the services, but at the time they were probably 90% white men) is the only reason why she wasn’t among that North Korean pom squad performing fake cheers for Kim Jong Un or some other Chinese puppet dictator at the recent Olympics Games:  White men are bad, and are her life’s crutch, the target at which to point whenever anything goes wrong in her life, or the life of anyone else who isn’t a white man, for that matter.

This is why, for example, our country has raised an entire generation (and is in the process of raising another) that believes that America shouldn’t have any borders, and that anyone on earth who wants to come to our country and live off of our social welfare state should be allowed to do so, no questions asked.  Because, you see, white men built America (this is undeniably largely true) and thus, America is an illegitimate nation.  As an illegitimate nation, the wealth built by America’s free market economy must be redistributed to anyone who wants it.  Simple.  And boring.

Saul Alinsky taught the radicals of the ’60s and ’70s that the best way to kill a free and great country is to brainwash its young people to believe that it is neither free nor great.  Congratulations, liberals, you’re on your way.

In Ms. Jeong’s world view, that problem in North Korea?  That’s the fault of white men.  Iran’s Muslim regime is abusing its people and routinely hanging innocent citizens from a crane in Tehran’s public square?  White men caused that.  People are starving in Africa?  White men did that, even though not a single white man governs a single country on that continent.  Gangs rule half of the countryside in Mexico and assassinate more than 130 political candidates in the recent election campaign?  White men.  And maybe cops, because she hates cops almost as much as she hates white men.

See what I mean?  Boring.  And tedious.  And so, so tiresome.

So she’s perfect for the editorial board at the boring, tedious and so, so tiresome New York Times.  A true poster child if there ever was one.  Read anything by David Brooks or Charles Blow or Paul Krugman lately?  Boring.  Tedious.  Tiresome.  She’s perfect.

Don’t kid yourselves into thinking that the hiring of Jeong is some sort of move further left for the Times – her world view is one that the Times has been pushing on its overwhelmingly white, upper-crust reader base for years now.  She’s just the first one the Times has hired who is confoundingly dumb enough to express her true thoughts in 140 or 280 character notes on Twitter over a period of years.  You’re supposed to keep this stuff a little closer to the vest than that.  Wouldn’t want to wake up the whities, after all.

I saw one guy yesterday say not to worry about Mizzzz Jeong:  she’s a tech writer, and thus won’t really influence the Times’s editorial page.  Well, of course she won’t, because Times’s editorial page already shares her world view.  Even the dimwitted #neverTrump fake conservatives who write there lean that direction.  That’s why they write there.

Look at it this way:  The Times hiring Mizzzz Jeong is like an oil company hiring another petroleum engineer from The University of Texas.  She’s nothing special, just another cog in the system.  She fits right in with the pre-existing culture, which is in fact why she was hired, and why she won’t be run off.

See, racism is cool at the New York Times, as long as you’re only racist against white guys.  That’s the view of America that the Times and the Democrats it protects endorse today, and have in fact endorsed for many years now.

If you subscribe to the Times, send them your hard-earned money to read the drivel they print, this is the view of America you are supporting.  You are in fact part of the problem.

Just another day in racism is cool at the New York Times America.

That is all.
