Another Epic Failed Hearing for the Democrats, Another Mass Shooting

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Just a coincidence, no doubt. – So, with their corrupt media cohorts struggling to spin their disastrous first day of impeachment circus hearings to their advantage, the Democrats were desperate all Thursday morning to change the narrative. There were no bombshells in the testimony of either Bill Taylor or the dapper dandy George Kent, no revelations of anything resembling impeachable behavior by President Donald Trump, nothing for anyone in the Democrat/media/deep state Axis of Disinformation to hang their rhetorical hats on.

As a result, it was a very slow news morning for America for once. And then it all magically changed, with yet another school shooting, this time in a high school in Santa Clarita, California, where a 15 year-old male student shot at his fellow students, injuring at least six and killing at least one. In the coming days, we will no doubt be told that this “lone wolf” suffered from mental issues that required him to take multiple prescription medications. We will learn that he comes from a broken family, that he had severe discipline issues at school and multiple run-ins with law enforcement over a period of many months, and probably that he was even known to the local FBI office.

That’s the seeming script for these things that our nation knows all too well by now. Script or not, the latest mass school shooting provides Democrat politicians the opportunity to change the day’s narrative on a dime, and their corrupt media toadies the ability to quit talking about the foundering impeachment circus and shift to promoting gun control and demonizing Republicans, the NRA and any American citizen who believes in the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution.

Within two hours of news of the shooting hitting the airwaves, Kamala Harris had a new gun control ad out on her Twitter account:

That’s some fast work right there. It’s funny how this happens, isn’t it? But surely just a coincidence. Right? I mean, to believe otherwise you would have to believe the worst things imaginable about certain people in our government, wouldn’t you?

I’ve seen folks promoting conspiracy theories about this subject on social media and elsewhere in recent months, but I’ve always just dismissed it all as rank paranoia. So, I thought, let’s disprove any notion of “conspiracy” here and look at what happened the last time the Democrats had such a miserable failure in a nationally-televised congressional hearing. I didn’t have to go back very far in time to do that – just less than four months ago.

Let’s go back to July 24-25 to see the exact same sequence of events happening again. On July 24, Special Counsel Robert Mueller appeared before a joint hearing of several House committees to talk about his report which failed to nail President Trump or even provide a viable roadmap for his impeachment, its goal from the outset.

Remember how Mueller appeared frail, barely in control of his mental faculties, unable to remember the simplest details about the investigation he supposedly led and the report he supposedly authored.  Remember what an abject disaster that hearing was for the Democrat Party, so disastrous that even their most corrupt media toadies at CNN were forced to acknowledge its abject failure to advance the ball for the never-ending coup d’etat.

What happened the very next day? A mass shooting in California’s San Fernando Valley, in which a man killed four people, including his father and brother, and wounded two more at a total of four different crime scenes.

Oh.

What happened barely a week after the San Fernando shootings, as congress was getting out of town for its month-long recess, which would inevitably cause a bit of a vacuum where their favored narratives were concerned? On August 3, not one but TWO mass shootings, this time in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio. Big shootings, too – a total of 32 people killed and another 51 injured.

Every one of the 22 or so then-candidates for the Democrat nomination immediately made narratives about gun control and “white supremacy” their key campaign talking points for the entire duration of the congressional recess. The August narratives were set in stone.

Just another coincidence, no doubt. To think otherwise is, well, it’s unthinkable. Isn’t it?

Since then, it’s been very slow on the mass shooting front. Oh, you have had the usual drive-by and gang-related shootings across the country, and fights at big parties in Greenville, Texas and Long Beach, California that resulted in multiple deaths and injuries, but it’s a big country with 330 million citizens and that’s going to be an inevitable part of our societal landscape.

Now, think about what’s been happening in the media narrative space since congress got back in early September. The whole Ukraine narrative started percolating to the surface shortly after congress resumed its work to destroy the country, and that narrative has dominated the news ever since. The Democrats and their media toadies were having a field day, and they knew it.

But then they made yesterday’s strategic error, and suddenly things were getting uncomfortable.

Just like clockwork, yet another school shooting takes place, and here we go on the gun control narrative one more time.

Surely just coincidence. In fact, surely just a rather amazing string of coincidences. But amazing they have been.

Right?

That is all.

CNN Dutifully Helps Pelosi and Schiff Shift the Fake Impeachment Goalposts

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Hey, remember when there were not one, but two fake whistleblowers? – I do. It was just, like, 10 days ago, right? So, what happened to them? Where did all that 24-hour a day fake news coverage of them disappear to? What happened to the promises from Bug-Eyes Schiff that the first fake whistleblower would be testifying before his fake Intelligence Committee posthaste?

Hey, I know: The narrative changed, so the goal posts had to shift with along with it. The trusty news-fakers over at CNN gave up that ghost Monday afternoon with a piece titled “Democrats see impeachment proceedings taking longer than some initially expected.”

Oh. You don’t sayyyyyy.

The “some” referred to in that fake headline would be Bug Eyes and San Fran Nan, who thought they’d be able to just ram through a quick impeachment effort on the sails of the first fake whistleblower’s fake statement. You know: The statement Schiff himself most likely helped to write.

But that was back in late September, when they were just cocky sure that no president would ever release the transcript of a phone call with another head of state because, well, golly, no previous president had ever done that before.

I used to believe that, sooner or later, these nitwits and their media toadies would figure out that President Donald Trump is not like any other president who came before him. You would think that would be manifestly obvious by now, even to these tiny-minded leftists, wouldn’t you? But no, they all obviously still think President Trump gives a damn about the “traditions” and “protocols” that have kept the DC Swamp all swampy and stuff for the last 240 years.

Anyway, the plan to ram through a quickie impeachment fell apart when the transcript clearly demonstrated that the fake whistleblower’s statement was filled with inaccuracies and outright lies. They supposedly had this second leaker all lined up and ready to go, but that hoopla all disappeared after about a 48 hour news cycle, and nobody’s even acknowledging his or her’s existence anymore.

That’s what the following sentence from the story means:

But that [ramming through something quick] has proven to be more complicated than it initially seemed, according to multiple Democratic lawmakers and sources.

Yes, things do tend to get more “complicated” when your star witness is revealed to be just another lying leaker and you and your media pals are forced to ‘disappear’ them from the narrative.

Hey, guess who those “multiple Democratic lawmakers and sources” referred to in that sentence are? If you said Bug Eyes, San Fran Nan, and a couple of their staffers, you’d be right on point. See, this CNN story is a narrative setter, or re-setter in this case. It’s a goal-post mover – the next sentence gives that away:

The reason: Each witness has so far provided more leads for investigators to chase down, including new names to potentially interview or seek documents from.

Translation: These first witnesses are not supporting our original narrative at all, so we’re going to have to find other witnesses until we find a couple who are willing to lie to support some other narrative. In other words, Adam Schiff is running the Mueller Gestapo Inquisition all over again. Which is why he must conduct his interrogations in the basement [literally the basement] of the Capitol Building and keep the testimony top secret.

You know this is true because Adam Schiff is the most notorious leaker on Capitol Hill, and if the witnesses were giving him anything to work with, their testimony would be all over CNN in about 15 minutes.

The most hilarious line in the entire CNN story is this one:

“The timeline will depend on the truth line, and that’s what we’re looking for,” Pelosi told reporters late last week.

Wait, Nan: You started this fake investigation because you knew – supposedly – that the President had bullied Ukraine President Zelensky in that phone call. You were bullhorning that “truth” two days before you claimed to have even seen the fake whistleblower’s fake statement, and three days before you saw the transcript of the call.

The “truth line” means nothing to the Democrats – that hasn’t been a concern of that Party for a century now. All that matters to the Democrats and their media toadies is the narrative, and that fell apart almost before it got started.

Let’s all remember that the day she created this idiotic fake impeachment process, San Fran Nan said she expected to be finished by the end of October. Then that timeline shifted to Thanksgiving. Now, it has shifted again to maybe – maybe – the end of the year.

The narrative and goalposts are not shifting because the Democrats are conducting a thorough search for the truth, as the CNN piece hysterically claims. They are shifting because, as is always the case, the truth does not support the narrative.

Fake news. Fake news everywhere. It’s all they got.

That is all.

New York Times Attempt to Craft a Narrative for the Coup Cabal Fails Miserably

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

If you pay close attention to the fake reporting of the New York Times, Washington Post, CNN and a few other Deep State fake news organizations, you can easily see how the FBI/CIA/State Department goons who choreographed the three year “Russia Collusion” fantasy play are trying to manipulate the public narrative in advance of the release of the Horowitz Report and the slow-rolling Barr/Durham investigation.

A piece published by the Times on Saturday serves as a prime example. The report, written by Adam Goldman and William Rashbaum, two of the most reliable deep state mouthpieces in the media, is chock-full of dozens of references to anonymous sources, all of whom most likely helped organize and lead the plot to fix the 2016 election for the Pantsuit Princess, and then to mount a coup d’etat on American soil. Although the reporters dutifully attempt to carefully craft the narrative here as a defense of treasonous snakes like Peter Strzok, Andrew McCabe, James Comey and other high officials who participated in this long-running betrayal of the United States, it fails miserably to do so.

What we end up with instead is a very long-winded indictment of these snakes in a piece that contains a series of revelations that will damage the reputations and defense efforts of everyone involved.

Let’s begin with the startling admission contained in this paragraph (I will add emphasis throughout the excerpts from the NY Times piece):

In his review, Mr. Durham has asked witnesses about the role of Christopher Steele, a former intelligence official from Britain who was hired to research Mr. Trump’s ties to Russia by a firm that was in turn financed by Democrats. Law enforcement officials used some of the information Mr. Steele compiled into a now-infamous dossier to obtain a secret wiretap on a Trump campaign adviser, Carter Page, whom they suspected was an agent of Russia.

So, here is the New York Times, the mouth organ of the Deep State narrative, admitting – albeit deep in the bowels of a very long piece – that the Steele Dossier was indeed funded by “Democrats.” The Times of course cannot go so far as to be specific about which “Democrats” – i.e., the Coughing Crook Campaign and the DNC – were involved in funding the effort, because that much truth in one article would cause most of its upper East Side readership to faint dead away with the vapors.

But putting that little nugget of truth into its pages is a stark admission that the Clinton Campaign literally paid millions of dollars to foreign agents to help them in an American election, an admission that most Times readers have likely never seen before.

Then there’s the lead paragraph:

Federal prosecutors reviewing the origins of the Russia investigation have asked witnesses pointed questions about any anti-Trump bias among former F.B.I. officials who are frequent targets of President Trump and about the earliest steps they took in the Russia inquiry, according to former officials and other people familiar with the review.

Note the use of the words “federal prosecutors” rather than “investigators,” because words are important here. This distinction, the first two words of a very long piece, clearly implies that the Times has been made aware by their Deep State buddies that Barr and Durham are not only pursuing actual indictments and prosecutions of some of their ranks, but have brought in multiple additional federal prosecutors to assist in the effort. This is a key shift in the fake media narrative, which has previously talked about Barr and Durham being just a couple of loose cannons mounting a rogue investigation in order to curry favor with President Trump.

The second paragraph is also quite interesting:

The prosecutors, led by John H. Durham, the United States attorney in Connecticut, have interviewed about two dozen former and current F.B.I. officials, the people said. Two former senior F.B.I. agents are assisting with the review, the people said.

Oh. Who might those two dozen “current and former FBI officials” be? We’ll have to wait to find out. But the more interesting bit of information here is that “two former senior FBI agents are assisting with the review.” Who might those agents be?

Well, about five paragraphs further into the piece, we find out who they are NOT:

Mr. Durham has yet to interview all the F.B.I. officials who played key roles in opening the Russian investigation in the summer of 2016, the people familiar with the review said. He has not spoken with Peter Strzok, a former top counterintelligence official who opened the inquiry; the former director James B. Comey or his deputy, Andrew G. McCabe; or James A. Baker, then the bureau’s general counsel.

So, Barr/Durham and their fellow prosecutors have interviewed dozens of current and former FBI officials, but they have yet to speak with four of the main suspects who we all know from public information already released were key leaders of the cabal. This would be common practice if those four are in fact targets of the investigation – the process would be to gather all the independent information possible to build a strong case prior to interviewing the actual targets. Very encouraging for those who desire to see actual justice done to at least some of the myriad bad actors in this matter.

Much later on in the piece, we find out who one of the “two former senior FBI agents” happens to be:

The former official said he was reassured by the presence of John C. Eckenrode, one of the former senior F.B.I. agents assisting Mr. Durham. Like Mr. Durham, who investigated C.I.A. torture of detainees overseas, Mr. Eckenrode is also familiar with high-stakes political inquiries.

How is Mr. Eckenrode famliar with “high-stakes political inquiries”? Way back in 2003-04, he worked for special counsel Patrick Fitzgerald on the Valerie Plame investigation. Some will view this association with a previous out-of-control special counsel as damning of Barr/Durham’s real intentions here, but the Fizgerald investigation would have involved literally dozens of FBI agents who were simply carrying out their orders in their daily jobs. When conducting a high-profile, controversial investigation such as this one, it would be perfectly natural for any U.S. Attorney to try to bring in assistants who have prior such experience.

Towards the end, the Times writers do their best to provide cover for their Deep State sources:

For example, the former official compared the F.B.I.’s handling of its two investigations related to Mr. Trump and his 2016 opponent, Hillary Clinton. Agents overtly investigated Mrs. Clinton’s use of a private email server but kept secret their counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign. If the F.B.I. had been trying to bolster Mrs. Clinton’s candidacy and hurt Mr. Trump’s, they could have buried the email investigation or taken more overt steps in the Russia inquiry.

This is, of course, abject nonsense. The Clinton email scandal had been in the news for many months, beginning way back in mid-2015. The corrupt and preening Comey, always concerned more about his public image than about the actual pursuit of justice, had no choice but to be seen as pursuing that investigation in a very public way. The fact that the fix was in for the Fainting Felon came with the release of internal FBI documents proving that Comey and Strzok drafted Clinton’s exoneration memo in May, 2016, two full months before they even bothered to interview her.

But this tired old narrative is all the Comeys and Strzoks have left to them, and the Times dutifully plays along, rolling it out there for the consumption of their willfully-deluded reader base.

The very publication of this narrative piece demonstrates the concern the coup plotters really are feeling about the pending release of the Horowitz Report and the ongoing conduct of the Barr/Durham investigation. It’s an effort – a miserably failed effort – to get out ahead of the release of the Horowitz Report, and to build a public narrative in defense of the bad actors as Barr and Durham advance towards seeking indictments. As the Times piece itself states in the lead sentence to its third paragraph:

The number of interviews shows that Mr. Durham’s review is further along than previously known.

Slowly but surely, the walls are closing in on the coup plotters.

“The wheels of justice turn slowly, but they grind exceedingly fine.” – Sun Tzu

Trump’s Response To Harvey: Fake News Media Narrative Is Already Set

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • If you’ve been wondering how the fake news media would treat the Trump Administration’s response to the disaster that Hurricane Harvey is about to produce along the Texas coast, wonder no more, because the shameless sleaze balls who run Salon.com have already let the cat out of the bag.  There will be no honest reporting, there will be no honest analysis, there will be no real information conveyed by the fake news media to Texas residents for whom information will be crucial in the coming days.  The fake news media/Democrat Axis of Sedition narrative is set, and it will be one of ceaseless criticism of every action the President takes, every word out of his mouth, and yes, every tweet from his Twitter feed.
  • At 3:08 Thursday afternoon, well before the most outer band of Hurricane Harvey had thought about making landfall, a fake journalist named Sophia Tesfaye posted a piece at Salon.com with a headline that would have never even been conceived during the Obama years, and would have waited until after Harvey had come and gone in any other presidential administration.  But this is the Trump Administration, after all, and the media/Democrats/establishment Republicans are smack in the middle of executing a slow-moving coup d’etat, so why wait?
  • “Trump Just Flunked His First Natural Disaster Test”, reads the blaring headline to Ms. Tesfaye’s piece.  Yes, the test hadn’t even arrived, FEMA hadn’t even had a chance to spring into action, but already Donald Trump had “flunked”.  Thank goodness I didn’t have to live up to Salon’s dictated fake timeline when I sat for the SAT back in 1974.
  • So why, a reasonable person – none of which exist in the fake news media anymore – might ask, has President Trump already flunked a test that was yet to make landfall?  Well, because, as Ms. Tesfay “reasons”, he issued a tweet that contained public service information on Thursday morning.
  •  The offending tweet reads as follows:  “As  intensifies – remember to . #hurricanes.gov #ready.gov #fema.gov”.  Doesn’t seem too offensive, does it?  Given that tweets are limited to 140 characters, it also conveyed a good deal of useful information for people to follow up on.  It was also accompanied by a short film that provided further information, but which Ms. Tesfaye falsely calls a “campaign commercial.”
  • So how in the world do Ms. Tesfaye and her fellow seditionists at Salon reason that this single tweet means the Trump Administration has already utterly failed in its response to a hurricane that hadn’t yet made landfall?  Let’s let Ms. Tesfaye’s own idiotic words speak for themselves:  “According to the White House, Trump was briefed on the government’s hurricane preparation efforts earlier this month, but his campaign-style commercial — fitted with a dramatic soundtrack — failed to convey any of that information to worried residents in the storm’s path. His tweet did not include basic information, like who is in danger, how to be prepared or what the government is doing to prepare.”
  • For crying out loud, you insufferable moron, it’s a freaking TWEET.  You can’t convey everything everybody needs to know about how to prepare for a freaking hurricane in 140 freaking characters.  Ok, deep breathing…deeeeep breathing….
  • Ok, I’m back.  Look, I’m not going to go on about this particular steaming pile of horse manure from Salon any further – it doesn’t really deserve the 550 words I’ve already written about it here.  Just be aware that this piece is the canary in this particular coal mine.  This piece contains the tone and sort of specious reasoning we can all expect to emanate over the next several days from similar fake reporters at CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, the WaPo, the NYTimes and probably most of the Texas news media as well.  The narrative is already set, actual performance by Texas government officials – all of whom are hated Republicans – and the Trump Administration won’t matter.
  • There will be no real, actual journalism going on here.  There will only be the narrative.  American journalism is a sick profession, and Ms. Tesfaye is merely a symptom.

Just another day in tiresome narratives America.

That is all.
