It’s Easy to Predict The Democrat/Media False Narratives to Come

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

A friend had the following thought last night: “I wonder if we, a nation, will learn anything from this “pandemic”? In time of national crisis, politics and finger pointing should have given way to unity and nationality first.”

The answer to the question in the first sentence is no, collectively, we will not learn any real lessons from this pandemic, mainly because the corrupt news media, working in concert with the Democrat Party, will not allow us to do so.

The response to that second sentence is yes, that should have taken place, but the corrupt news media, working in concert with the Democrat Party, could not allow it.

We all must understand that the Democrat Party simply could no longer exist for any length of time in any situation resembling national unity. The electability of Democrat candidates for office relies completely on the perpetuation of division and controversy, whether real or imagined. Literally every message they send during an election campaign is designed to divide the population up along racial, religious, cultural and economic lines.

This is why Nancy Pelosi’s response to the Wuhan Virus crisis is not to work to help the nation recover and heal, but to launch yet another hoax investigation designed to evolve into an impeachment effort along about the first of September. You can set your clock to it – it’s coming. Without the existence of constant division and crisis, whether real or made up out of whole cloth by human scum like Adam Schiff, the Democrat Party has no political platform.

This is fine for corrupt media operations like the New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN, CBS, ABC and NBC: They thrive on crisis and controversy, and given that about 98% of the people they employ are loyal Democrat activists, they are more than willing and happy to coordinate their efforts with the Democrat Party. These media operations work on a model of driving specific narratives, not on reporting the truth. The overarching theme of that narrative for the past four years has been that Donald Trump is the enemy and must be defeated.

Thus, it did not matter what actions the Trump Administration took to address the Wuhan Virus pandemic: Whatever the President did was to be portrayed as not just wrong, but racist, un-American and insane. This is why the media was filled with stories and panel discussions telling us the Virus was no threat at all during late January and early February, as the Trump Administration was ramping up efforts to prevent the spread. It is why the President was roundly called a thug and a racist when he put the ban on incoming Chinese travel on January 31. It is why today, that media/Democrat narrative has been turned on its head in an effort to revise history and pretend the Administration was “too slow” in addressing the issue.

When anything the President and the entire executive branch of government does is portrayed as wrong and disloyal and racist by 98% of the nation’s news media, how can there possibly be anything approaching “national unity?” It simply is not possible.

This is also why we, as a nation, can never truly learn the lessons we need to learn from this or any other crisis. Regardless of how positive the ultimate outcome of the Administration’s strategic approach to fighting this Virus ends up being, the public will be brainwashed by the nation’s corrupt media establishment to believe every action the evil Trump took was wrong.

To know the truth of this, all you need to do is watch how the press corps behaves at the daily Coronavirus Task Force briefings. With only rare exceptions, the questions being asked by these corrupt reporters are not designed to actually obtain real information to be communicated to the public: They are instead gotcha questions designed get the President to say something controversial in order to create a divisive story that will attract clicks to websites and generate blaring, above-the-fold headlines.

These reporters are not there to report: They are there to divide and to support a narrative that will keep the crisis going for as long as possible.

Thus, the coming effort by the President and his people to re-open the economy will inevitably be portrayed as “dangerous” and “premature” and “life-threatening” by these corrupt media outlets, regardless of what the plan actually happens to be. Do not doubt me on this: The overarching theme of the narrative to come will be that the evil Trump is “trading lives for money.” Those exact words will be repeated thousands of times on the nation’s airwaves in the coming months.

The other narrative that will inevitably be screamed by the media/Democrat propaganda complex will be “Trump wasted billions on building unused ventilators and medical supplies!!!!!!!”

No, really: After spending the last two months wailing that the states just do not have enough ventilators and PPE, these very same people will turn on a dime and try to punish the President and his people for putting the nation on a war-time footing to produce those things in such massive quantities that a huge portion of them will end up sitting in warehouses, waiting for the next public health crisis to come.

This is what these people do. It is who they are. They not only promote division and crisis in our country, they view doing those things as their actual duty. They truly do believe that, which is what makes them so dangerous to our nation’s ultimate survival.

How can there be national unity, how can there be any lessons learned in such an environment?

The Kennedy Center and the FBI: America’s Twin Towers of Disgrace

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

The damn thing should just be imploded after this. – What does one say about the people who run the Kennedy Center, other than they all need to have their sorry butts kicked? Let’s review the timeline of that national disgrace over the last 10 days:

– Nancy Pelosi single-handedly holds up a $2 Trillion stimulus bill for a week – thus delaying for a week any benefits going to ordinary people who really needed the money as fast as possible – in part so she can lard it up with a $25 million bailout for the creeps at the Kennedy Center.

– That bill finally passed early afternoon on Friday.

– About 90 minutes after it passed the House of Representatives, the Kennedy Center management sends out a memo notifying all of their contract musicians that they have been laid off.

– On Tuesday, just three days later, Kennedy Center management sends out another memo notifying all of the support staff for the National Symphony Orchestra that they have also been laid off.

This is a national disgrace, and everyone involved should be fired and replace by human beings who actually possess souls.

Meanwhile, at the FBI… – It normally takes DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz about 14 months to tie his shoelaces. This is the single most plodding, delaying, not-in-any-hurry-to-get-anything-done man in a city that is just filled with men and women with that same attitude towards their work.

Normally, nothing phases this guy. The DOJ/FBI cabal during the Obama era illegally spied on the Trump campaign and transition team? No biggie. Let’s take our sweet time looking into that one.

That same cabal frames General Mike Flynn and tries to do the same to President Donald Trump? Ah, what’s the big deal? Let’s spend 2 years looking into that one.

Peter Strzok, Andrew McCabe and James Comey all committed multiple counts of perjury, and Comey and McCabe were sharing national secrets with the New York Times and Washington Post? Yawn. We’ll get to that one next year.

Let’s put it this way: Mr. Horowitz does not understand the concept of swift and timely justice, nor his own role in making sure that such a thing takes place in our society. He has spent the last 3 years doing little other than gumming up the works at DOJ, doing his best to ensure the passage of time dims public memories about all the rampant corruption at that Department, especially within the FBI.

Thus, it came as a bit of surprise that Mr. Horowitz chose to rush out a new, unexpected report this week, in which he found that FBI agents of all shapes and sizes and in locations all over America casually violated the FISA law in all 29 applications his team audited from 2014 through 2019.

Every. Damn. One. Of. Them.

From a report at National Review:

The Justice Department inspector general said it does “not have confidence” in the FBI’s FISA application process following an audit that found the Bureau was not sufficiently transparent with the court in 29 applications from 2014 to 2019, all of which included “apparent errors or inadequately supported facts.”

Inspector General Michael Horowitz released a report in December which found that the FBI included “at least 17 significant errors or omissions in the Carter Page FISA applications and many errors in the Woods Procedures” during its Crossfire Hurricane investigation of the 2016 Trump campaign. After releasing the report, Horowitz said that he would conduct a further investigation to see if the errors identified in the Page application were widespread.

Horowitz’s office said in a report released Tuesday that of the 29 applications — all of which involved U.S. citizens – that were pulled from “8 FBI field offices of varying sizes,” the FBI could not find Woods Files for four of the applications, while the other 25 all had “apparent errors or inadequately supported facts.”

[End]

Note the key fact in this passage: That Horowitz’s audit included cases that were pulled from FBI field offices all over the damn country, and thus involved FBI agents of all ranks and positions.

The next time you hear the increasingly irritating Sean Hannity tell you how wonderful and non-corrupt the FBI’s “rank and file” are, turn off your radio or change channels on your television, because you are being lied to.

Attorney General William Barr naturally responded to this latest Horowitz report with a feckless, meaningless statement touting the “reforms” that worthless bureaucrat FBI Director Christopher Wray has supposedly implemented in the agency’s approach to the FISA process:

Image

It’s important to note that the FISA law, which expired on March 15, has still not been renewed, thanks to congress’s attention being focused solely on dealing with its various stimulus bills. While AG Barr still hopes to have it renewed with no changes to the statute, this new report from Horowitz is going to make that outcome extremely unlikely to come about.

Finally, at long last, Mr. Horowitz has done a real and timely public service.

As for the FBI, the only way to really fix that steaming cesspit of corruption is to completely disband it and reconstitute a new federal investigative agency. The roots of the Bush/Obama, Mueller/Comey-era corruption there are just too firmly and deeply embedded in the muck to ever really be cleaned up.

That is all.

Nancy Pelosi: Domestic Enemy

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

In an appearance with Jake Tapper on CNN Sunday morning, despicable and depraved Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said this:

In response, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, appearing on Fox News with Maria Bartiromo, said this:

“What she said, she’s blaming the president for people dying because of the way he’s led the country. That’s the most shameful disgusting statement by any politician in modern history. Let me tell you we’ve seen the best of America from our citizens helping each other, delivering groceries, having special shopping hours for senior citizens. She’s the first politician to blame another politician for people dying.”

There is no question that Sen. Graham is right: Pelosi’s statement is unhinged and completely unbecoming anyone who holds such a high office. But sadly, it is becoming more and more typical of this 80 year-old lunatic as she continues to age.

Let’s remember that San Fran Nan is fresh off of holding up a crucial stimulus bill for an entire week so she could insert pork to feed to favored constitutents like NPR, PBS, the National Endowments for the Arts and Humanities, and the Kennedy Center. The Kennedy Center is such a national disgrace that it couldn’t even wait 24 hours from the time it received its $25 million bailout to tell all of its resident musicians that they were being laid off.

Let’s also remember that, when President Trump took the early, foresightful action of cutting off most travel into the U.S. from China on January 31, this is how the depraved Pelosi responded:

And here’s the babbling idiot urging tourists to go party in San Francisco’s Chinatown district on … wait for it … February 24:

Let’s also remember that, as the coronavirus was germinating in China’s Wuhan province last November through January, being spread across the world thanks to the rank mendacity of the ChiCom government, Nancy Pelosi was abusing her power and distracting the entire apparatus of the federal government with a completely bogus impeachment hoax. This stands as one of the most repugnant abuses of power by a high federal office holder in American history.

In their oaths of office, members of congress, commissioned military officers and other officials promise to “defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic”.

Nancy Pelosi, through her habitual bald-faced lying, her abuse of her powers as Speaker, and her increasingly wild and irrational accusations aimed at the President and anyone else who opposes her radical leftist agenda, has very clearly proven herself to be a domestic enemy of the constitution and the people of this country. She should be treated accordingly by all thinking Americans.

Pelosi, Sisolak Take TDS Depravity Beyond The Pale

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Some mid-day notes everyone should be aware of:

America’s universities in action. – Harvard University has the largest university endowment on the face of the earth, currently estimated at over $40 billion. Yesterday, as reported by the Washington Free Beacon, Harvard laid off its dining hall workers in an effort to “cut costs”:

A Harvard spokesman said he was unable to provide the Free Beacon with the number of subcontract employees in dining services. In 2018, the New York Times reported that the university dining halls employed 275 subcontractors.

Based on the local living wage standard, it would cost Harvard $710,000 to provide four weeks of full-time paid leave for all of its subcontracted dining employees. This represents 0.001 percent of Harvard’s endowment.

Other universities that have transitioned to online classes have handled the situation with contract employees differently. The University of Chicago said last week it would continue paying its subcontract workers through the end of the academic year. The University of Chicago has an endowment of $8.5 billion, around one-fifth the size of Harvard’s.

Disgusting.

Speaking of disgusting people… – San Fran Nan is holding up the passage of the senate stimulus bill again. As reported by the Daily Caller, Pelosi is now using arcane House procedures as a tactic for delaying any action by her chamber for at least one more day:

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi delayed the passage of the Senate’s coronavirus relief package on Wednesday, as the House was in session for nearly three minutes and then adjourned until Thursday.

“House Democrats will now review the final provisions and legislative text of the agreement to determine a course of action,” Pelosi said about the nearly $2 trillion emergency relief deal which will be voted on Wednesday afternoon in the Senate after a long night of negotiations. Meaning, the House will not be able to vote on the package for another day.

This is yet another clear effort by Pelosi to cause another day of negative stock market reaction. She will do literally anything, including throwing people out of jobs and causing more human misery, in her neverending zeal to harm President Trump. The woman is a sub-human ghoul, a clear domestic enemy.

Speaking of Democrat ghouls… – The Democrat Governor of Nevada, Steve Sisolak, last night issued an executive order denying coronavirus patients access to hydroxychloroquine, the safe, well-known medication that has been proven in multiple peer-reviewed studies as an effective treatment for the China Flu. As reported by Sifi.com:

Despite the world including India pinning the hope on anti-malaria drugs to treat serious COVID-19 patients, Nevadas governor has ordered to ban use of chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine to treat new coronavirus patients.

The governor’s executive order came after US President Donald Trump termed the drugs as a potential treatment for treating the illness, reports NYPost.

A man in US state of [Arizona] died and his wife was in critical condition after taking “an additive used to clean fish tanks called chloroquine phosphate, similar to the drug used to treat malaria”.

[End]

Thus, we have a Democrat Governor, in a zeal to do political harm to the U.S. President, banning a safe and effective treatment to patients in danger of dying because a couple of idiots decided to ingest fish tank cleaner. It’s akin to banning the use of Clorox to bleach white shirts because a couple of kids found a bottle of it under the kitchen sink and had to have their stomachs pumped.

This is a special kind of Trump Derangement Syndrome depravity, folks. It is utterly beyond the pale.

That is all, for now.

Sen. Tom Cotton Details Democrat Depravity Since the Corrupt Media Won’t Do It

The Evening Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

You seriously could never make this stuff up. – In a series of Tweets this afternoon, GOP Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas listed the absurd list of Democrat demands that are holding up the crucial stimulus bill. Below is the text of those Tweets:

Families and businesses need help now to survive the China virus pandemic. But @SpeakerPelosi walked away from negotiations to write her own bill, full of absurd provisions completely unrelated to the crisis at hand. Here’s what Speaker Pelosi is demanding while Americans suffer:

1. Corporate pay statistics by race and race statistics for all corporate boards at companies receiving assistance

2. Bailing out all current debt of postal service

3. Required early voting

4. Required same day voter registration

5. 10k bailout for student loans

6. For companies accepting assistance, 1/3 of board members must be chosen by workers

7. Provisions on official time for union collective bargaining

8. Full offset of airline emissions by 2025

9. Greenhouse gas statistics for individual flights

10. Retirement plans for community newspaper employees

11. $15 minimum wage at companies receiving assistance

12. Permanent paid leave at companies receiving assistance

The Democrats see an opportunity in this crisis. Not to help the American people, but to hold an emergency relief bill hostage until they get their radical wish list. How long will Arkansans and Americans across the country have to wait?

[End]

How long, indeed?

Naturally, no one in the corrupt news media is accurately reporting the Democrats’ despicable laundry list of political demands. Thus, cowardly Republicans will almost certainly capitulate to some or all of them.

This is the DC Swamp at work.

Just thought you’d like to know.

Pelosi, Biden Plumb New Depths of Political Depravity

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

They literally corrupt everything they touch. – Including stimulus bills in time of national emergency, as we found out last night. At the prodding of Nancy Pelosi, Senate Democrats banded together to filibuster the stimulus bill working its way through that chamber, a bill that had been exhaustively negotiated between congressional leader of both parties – including San Fran Nan – for three days. By late morning on Sunday, it appeared that a deal had been struck:

But just hours after that meeting concluded, San Fran Nan began making noises about how the Senate bill was “inadequate” and promising to move her own bill in the House. The hangup? Well, abortion, of course. Seems the Senate bill doesn’t provide a bailout for Planned Parenthood, and the party of abortion on demand cannot possibly allow their baby-killing machine to suffer like everyone else in our society. It’s their religion, after all. Well, one of their religions, along with Climate Change and Alinskyism.

From the PJMedia article linked above:

Even more ominous to Democrats was a Medicaid restriction that would hurt Planned Parenthood and other non-profits.

A Democratic aide said that the small business provision was drafted to exclude non-profits who receive Medicaid from being eligible for Small Business Administration assistance offered under the bill. That, according to the aide, would impact Planned Parenthood but also community health centers, rape crisis centers and disability service providers.

Planned Parenthood is not a “small business” and non-profits, as their name implies, aren’t “businesses” either. Tens of millions of dollars — or more — could be denied to real small businesses who need that cash as well.

[End]

Thus, the Democrats are willing to tank the stock market even further and throw thousands more people out of jobs so that their baby-killing “non-profit” (except from the sale of baby body parts) factories can keep killing. Does it get any more ghoulish than that? Hard to imagine how.

Meanwhile, Quid Pro Joe prepares to create even more confusion and division. – Many have been wondering where the nation’s Unfrozen Caveman Senator has been over the past week, since he basically disappeared from view after wins in several state primaries on Tuesday.

The answer came in a piece by Politico on Friday: He’s planning to hold what he is calling “regular shadow briefings” to provide his supporters in the corrupt news media with alternative talking points to what the President’s Coronavirus Task Force is telling the public:

Joe Biden is planning a regular shadow briefing on coronavirus to start as early as Monday to show how he would handle the crisis and address what he calls the lies and failures of President Trump.

Biden gave a preview of what’s to come in a conference call with reporters Friday, where he listed a litany of false and misleading statements from Trump, who has been holding regular White House press conferences concerning coronavirus preparedness and response that have been broadcast live on all major networks.

“President Trump stop saying false things, will ya?” Biden said. “People are worried they are really frightened, when these things don’t come through. He just exacerbates their concern. Stop saying false things you think make you sound like a hero and start putting the full weight of the federal government behind finding fast, safe and effective treatments.”

Biden made his comments from his home in Wilmington, Delaware, where he has been holed up for more than a week in adherence with Centers for Disease Control guidelines that urge people to practice social distancing.

[End]

Why would he do this, you ask? Why, because the Task Force briefings have proved to be very effective in keeping the public informed, in the process providing the President with a platform to speak directly to the American people. As a result, the President’s public approval rating has skyrocketed, rising into the mid-50s in multiple polls last week.

This reality created a panic situation in the Democrat/media complex of propaganda late in the week. The media responded with a new narrative, accusing the President of lying, with op/eds in both the NY Times and Washington Post demanding that the networks actually stop covering the briefings. Now, despite Quid Pro Joe’s obvious advancing mental decline, they are urging him to get out there multiple times a week to provide a rebuttal to the President that all the networks will also air.

So, in a time of national crisis and a declared state of national emergency, we see the Democrats and their media toadies planning a process that is intentionally designed to decrease public confidence in government, increase confusion and produce outright panic.

Make no mistake about it: That is literally the outcome these demented and depraved people prefer. They are so mad with their pursuit of power that they would rather see millions of ordinary Americans suffer, lose their retirements, and see mass rioting in the streets than to see President Trump’s public approval ratings tick up by 5 percentage points because he’s doing a good job.

It used to be fair to merely say that a vote for a Democrat is a vote for socialism. As of this morning, it is entirely fair to say that a vote for a Democrat is a vote for the destruction of our economy and our society.

Stop doing it, folks.

That is all.

Pelosi Achieves Peak Depravity With Coronavirus Assistance Bill

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Every time you think the Democrats on Capitol Hill could not become more despicable, depraved and demented than they already are, they go and surprise you again. – Honestly, at this point, I really don’t think there’s any way for San Fran Nan to surprise me anymore. At least, not after this one. But I’ll probably be surprised again soon.

The liberal hacks who run The Hill have a report out this morning detailing House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s objections to the Democrats’ version of a coronavirus-related “temporary” assistance bill now worming its way through the House. Here we have what our corrupt news media is portraying as being a national emergency, a pandemic of a virus that is highly infectious and, while it has only led to 41 American deaths to this point, could lead to many more in the weeks to come.

Amid all of this, the Democrats and their toadies in the national news media have succeeded in creating a national panic that has this week resulted in the literal shutting down of much of the U.S. economy for the time being. The ultimate impacts of all of these cancelled major events that drive so much of the economy, along with the simultaneous oil price war that has erupted between Russia and the Saudis, will reverberate through the production chain, and will without question cause significant hardship for millions of American workers and their families.

Given a situation such as this, one might expect members of both parties to, for once in their pathetic lives, actually try their best to come together on a temporary aide package like this one, and leave their petty politics behind. You might expect that, but you would be wrong when it comes to Nancy Pelosi.

First, Pelosi attempted to stick in language killing the longstanding Hyde Amendment – which bars the use of federal funds to pay for abortion except to save the life of the woman, or if the pregnancy arises from incest or rape – into this completely unrelated piece of legislation. That effort was reportedly opposed by many members of her own party, so it died.

But Pelosi has succeeded in including language in this bill that will be highly controversial, including provisions that would mandate permanent paid sick leave for all employers, along with a huge permanent increase in Medicare spending that would benefit the insurance companies that have Pelosi and so many other members of congress in their pockets. McCarthy on Thursday expressed his opposition to these and other bits of depravity included in Pelosi’s bill.

From the Hill’s report:

“The president last night said we are committed to helping those who will face economic hardships as a result of work disruptions and illness. The country is looking to the government to come together and meet these challenges, but the bill that we saw that just came forth last night at 11 p.m. comes up short,” McCarthy told reporters at a press conference.

“There’s a couple major problems with it. Here’s one glaring problem: Under [Speaker Nancy] Pelosi’s bill, the Social Security Administration will be set up to administer the paid sick leave program. Now this will take more than six months, so it won’t work in time. It will also hamper the administration from putting out Social Security for those who need it right now that are in harm’s way,” he added.

“This will hurt the very population it’s supposed to be helping. It forces permanent paid sick leave for all businesses without exemptions and no sunsets.”

McCarthy’s comments came just before the bill — which would require employers to grant paid sick leave and bolster unemployment benefits, in addition to ensuring free diagnostic testing for the virus — was scheduled to come to the floor on Thursday, before lawmakers are slated to leave for a one-week recess.

The minority leader also cited Republicans’ concerns with provisions related to paid sick leave and disaster aid eligibility, adding that his GOP colleagues are committed to working across the aisle and with the Trump administration on a solution that can garner broad bipartisan support.

At her press conference at the end of the work day, a slurring, stammering and obviously highly agitated Pelosi slammed her fist on the podium and demanded that Republicans agree either agree to her bill filled with permanent pork or she was just going to adjourn the House for its scheduled recess next week. Shortly after, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced that the Senate would cancel its recess and remain in Washington to deal with issues related to the virus and the economic fallout.

Thus, Pelosi seems to have reached peak depravity here, exploiting a national panic that she and her fellow Democrats in and out of the corrupt news media worked hard to create for her own gain and the gain of the corporate lobbyists who have helped to make her such a fabulously wealthy person. This seems to me to be the moment she has attained peak depravity. But then again, every time I think that’s the case, and she cannot possibly get any worse, she goes out and surprises me.

You all can judge for yourselves.

That is all.

Democrats Desperately Unhappy that America is Doing So Well

Guest piece from Karen Kataline

Ahead of Super Tuesday and after winning his first-ever primary contest in South Carolina, Joe Biden said, “We need to build on the coalition and the legacy of the most successful presidency in our lifetime, Barack Obama.” He then corrected himself:  “The Obama-Biden Presidency.”

As Bill Clinton might say, I guess that depends on what the meaning of “success” is.

If the goal of the previous administration was to increase poverty and racial tension, hatred of the police and of America, subversion of the rule of law, kicking Israel in the teeth, and making more people dependent on government than ever before, then Voila! That’s exactly what he accomplished.

By that measurement, I will concede that the Obama/Biden Administration was indeed successful. Many including myself, don’t believe the aforementioned outcomes were unintentional.

Nevertheless, Democrats must run against Trump’s real and measurable accomplishments to have anything to run on at all. After less than one term, we have seen a dramatic increase in the GDP, wages and employment, enforcing the rule of law, and in the confidence and prosperity of America.

All of this has been achieved against the backdrop of Democrats illustrating daily, what little regard they have for America and Americans.  Who else would openly defend Qasem Soleimani, MS-13 gang members and criminal illegal aliens?  Today’s Democrats have repeatedly supported those things that  speed the decay of civil society and keep the public angry, frightened and anxious.

Despite the fact that Obama has yet to endorse his Vice President for President, Biden will invoke Obama’s name as much as he can to win the nomination. What is completely lost on Biden and Democrats in general (don’t tell them!) is that Obama is not now, nor was he ever as popular at the end of his Presidency as they so enthusiastically claim.

There was a major downside to calling anyone who criticized Obama’s policies a “Racist!”  Lacking creativity, they continue to hurl the same invective at anyone who supports Donald Trump’s policies.

Cultural bullying works because most people want to avoid attacks and conflict. so they keep quiet and they lie to pollsters. That’s one of the reasons Democrats were so blindsided by Trump’s stunning win in 2016.  Like so many other Democrat strategies employed to weaken and then destroy Trump, that backfired “bigly.”

Here’s another example: We know much more now about Obama’s multi-pronged attempt to sabotage Donald Trump before and after his successful campaign. Trump is President today in part, because of Barack Obama and the policies we weren’t allowed to criticize.

Who in their right mind would want to return to the misery and malaise of the Obama years?  I know one political party that would.

Regardless of who emerges as their nominee, Democrats will have a tough time trying to convince voters that Trump’s success is really failure and Obama’s failure was really success.

I may be overly optimistic, but I think that will backfire too.

The Coronavirus Press Conference Gives Us The Trump We Need To See More Of

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

If you missed President Trump’s press conference on the Coronavirus yesterday evening, you should take time to watch it. – The full stream of it can be found at this link: Full Trump Presser.

This was President Donald Trump at his best: Fully in command of the room and the facts, speaking in measured tones, obviously in charge of the situation. Other than some formal international ceremonies, it was with out doubt the most “presidential” event of his entire time in office.

He took every question from the enemies of the people assembled in the White House briefing room and provided measured and reasonable answers, even to those that were unreasonable or even idiotic, as several were. I mean, after all, he did call on April Ryan and that circus clown who writes for Playboy.

Even the jabs he took at Nancy Pelosi were measured in tone: He didn’t call her “Crazy Nancy” or question her sobriety – even though either or both would have been perfectly valid. Instead, he called her “incompetent,” which she clearly is, and truthfully stated that the depraved Speaker is working to politicize the Coronavirus situation.

The same was true of his reference to Chuck Schumer, who has behaved in an even more depraved fashion than Pelosi: The President engaged in no name-calling, no references to “Crying Chuck” or anything similar; just a truthful statement of regret about the Minority Leader’s efforts to endanger the American public for purely partisan reasons.

It was a brilliant press conference, one that had me wishing he would do more of these and fewer of the noisy press availabilities next to the whining rotors as he’s about to board Marine One. I fully get why he likes that model: It denies the preening peacocks in the corrupt press corps their cherished TV face time. In those events, the camera is always on Trump, never on the nitwits screaming their moronic questions.

The President is of course right to treat the media with scorn – it is what they have all richly earned in their demented behavior towards him and his administration. He was absolutely right to end the daily press briefings, given the abusive behavior by the reporters towards his own staff. He

Mr. Trump was also right to take the responsibility of dealing with the media on his own shoulders: This administration revolves around him and his thought processes, and he obviously wasn’t always able to communicate those thoughts to those speaking on his behalf. So he cut out the middle-man, and now typically does more than one press availability each day.

But part of the problem with those loud events next to Marine One is that the President always finds himself shouting. This creates a problem where tone is concerned. As he left the briefing yesterday, one reporter shouted that he should do more events in the briefing room. That caught the President’s attention, and he promised that he would do so.

That would probably be a good idea, because the President is powerful in that setting. Don’t abandon the helicopter setting altogether, but provide more of a mix of venues.

In this re-election season, it might be wise for the President and his team to give a nod to one of the main reasons why he has lost so many suburban housewives: It’s mainly due to his behavior and his tone, not necessarily his substance. Young mothers and grandmothers don’t want young children to be exposed to a President who always seems to be shouting, whether at the press corps at a loud and windy event, or in his postings on Twitter, where he also often seems to be figuratively shouting.

Those who contend that Trump should stop tweeting entirely miss the entire point here: It’s not the fact that he uses social media, but the manner in which he uses it that turns off many people who might otherwise be supporters. A significant percentage of these suburban women who have been trending Democrat over the past four years actually agree with most of the Trump agenda, but can’t stand the manner in which he communicates it much of the time. Appealing to this constituency and gaining more of their votes this year could well determine which party controls the House of Representatives after this year.

Communication matters. No one understands this better than Donald Trump.

The President has to stay active on Twitter because it provides him his only platform on which to communicate to the public without interference from the enemies of the people. Most of these women no doubt recognize that reality, and also most likely wouldn’t deny him the right to respond in-kind to the abusive behavior towards him by depraved Democrats like Pelosi, Schumer and Schiff.

Where he turns so many people off is when he resorts to seemingly gratuitous name-calling, and when he goes after ordinary people, as he did recently with the jury foreman in the Roger Stone trial. Yes, that woman most definitely lied on her jury questionnaire, and Stone should receive a new trial with a new judge as a result. But Roger Stone has smart lawyers working for him and doesn’t need the President attacking both the jury foreman and the judge in order to make his case. It’s just a needless fight that Mr. Trump would have been better off not picking.

Bottom line, if the public saw the President Trump we witnessed in that Coronavirus briefing yesterday evening every day between now and November 3, he would win in an epic landslide for the ages. After the last three years of constant controversy and upheaval, the public is craving a return to some level of normalcy.

Knowing that Bernie Sanders won’t and can’t give them that, and that the Democrats and their corrupt media toadies will do everything in their power to keep the chaos coming, it would probably be wise for the President himself to give it to them in spades.

That is all.
