The Fake News Media Doesn’t Even Put Up A Pretense Anymore

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

All fake news, all the time. – If you still do not believe that our national media establishment is 100% in the pocket of the Democrat Party and coordinates messaging with that political party on a daily basis, consider the following story.

We are now in Day 9 of a partial “government shutdown” that exists over the issue of illegal immigration. Early this week, in the midst of this “government shutdown,” a California law enforcement officer was murdered by an illegal alien who he was attempting to arrest for what would have been the illegal’s THIRD DUI crime. Yes, that’s right: thanks to California’s sanctuary laws, this illegal had already been arrested for and convicted of two DUIs, has known gang affiliation, and despite all of that had been allowed to just get out of jail and roam free on the state’s highways to put more lives in danger.

Anyway, that murder took place four days ago now, and in all that time, not one Democrat officeholder has been asked by one intrepid “journalist” to comment on the situation.  Think about that: California has 53 members of the house and 2 U.S. senators, and not one of them has had to field a single question about how they can continue to support open borders and sanctuary laws when their state’s police officers and citizens are being murdered by illegal aliens.

The reason why is obvious: The media and the Democrats are coordinating on a narrative, and that narrative dictates that only Republicans must field difficult questions about illegal immigration. Any “journalist” who violates the narrative runs the risk of being dis-invited from all the best dinner parties. This is not complicated, folks.

Speaking of fake news… – two other fake news stories dominated the fake media this week, and boy, were they doozies.

First, you had the “bone spurs” story. This story, which we’ve heard many, many times before, made a comeback this week, with “new” information.  That “new” information came in the form of the two daughters of the doctor who treated Donald Trump for bone spurs in 1968 claiming that her father – who is conveniently dead – told them that he faked the diagnosis on orders from Trump’s father Fred Trump, so that Donald Trump could avoid the military draft in effect at the time.

1968 is half a century ago, for those who are chronologically challenged.

So, first of all, who cares? Other than a bunch of pedantic Millenial soy boys and valley girls staffing the fake reporter desks at CNN and MSNBC, that is.

Second of all, why should we believe these two women?  In all seriousness – there is literally no reason at all to believe they are anything other than liberal attention-seekers. They bring with them zero supporting evidence – no documentation, no statements from their father or any other doctor. No media outlet would have dreamed of going forward with this story were it leveled at a Democrat president, yet every media outlet in America has parroted the claim this week.

Third of all, who cares? Yes, that deserves repeating.

The next big fake story of the week came from the pathetic McClatchy News Service, which updated its claim from earlier this year that ex-Trump lawyer Michael Cohen had visited Prague during the 2016 campaign to hold secret meetings with Russian agents. This story has been debunked more times than the one about the moon landings being faked, but that didn’t stop McClatchy running with an update claiming that …

“A mobile phone traced to President Donald Trump’s former lawyer and “fixer” Michael Cohen briefly sent signals ricocheting off cell towers in the Prague area in late summer 2016, at the height of the presidential campaign, leaving an electronic record to support claims that Cohen met secretly there with Russian officials, four people with knowledge of the matter say.”

Those “four people with knowledge of the matter”? They are not merely anonymous sources – they are anonymous sources being quoted by other anonymous sources, as Brit Hume so ably pointed out:

The reason why McClatchy’s story remains “exclusive” is that it is so obviously faked that none of the other fake media outlets want to touch it.

This is the sort of nonsense your President has to put up with on a daily basis.  It is intentional, it is relentless and it is unending.

Some Twitter funnies to close out this morning’s Campaign Update:

Why yes, yes it is:

You think I’m kidding?  Just watch…

I’m afraid it isn’t a parody at all…

This also is not a parody.  A “Women’s March” event in California has been cancelled because it is “too white.”

Meanwhile, in Paris, the Yellow Vest protesters have identified the real enemy of the people:

That is all.

Was 2018 Really the ‘Worst Year Ever’? Uh, no.

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Andrew Cuomo’s Russia Collusion manifests yet again. – On Thursday, Bloomberg reported on the arrival in Boston Harbor of a tanker filled with liquefied natural gas (LNG) that was produced in … wait for it … RUSSIA! I swear I don’t make this stuff up.

Yes, friends, the New England states have, for the second straight winter, been reduced to having to import natural gas from the Russian Bear despite their close proximity to our nation’s largest natural gas field, the massive Marcellus/Utica Shale basin. This is not only for home heating purposes, but for electric power generation as well, as most electricity in the Northeast is generated by natural gas-fired power plants.

Now, think about how utterly ridiculous this is. Our country is literally awash in natural gas. The U.S. is in fact the world’s largest producer of the commodity, and possesses by far the world’s largest reserves, with many centuries of proven supply beneath our soil.

We have so much natural gas, in fact, that the U.S. price for the commodity is far below the price that other countries lacking such reserves pay for imports of LNG. Where the U.S. NYMEX price for natural gas sits this morning at $3.30, America’s producers export large quantities of their own gas to countries like Japan and China, where they can command prices more than double that.

So, why is New England having to bring in LNG from Russia, you ask? Two words: Andrew Cuomo. Despite the fact that his state of New York obtains the overwhelming majority of its home heating and electricity needs from natural gas, Cuomo decided several years ago to take demagogic positions against the production of the commodity and the building of new pipelines to transport it in and through his state in order to enhance his prospects for being re-elected to a second term.

It is a simple geographic reality that, in order to build new pipelines from the Marcellus/Utica Basin to carry enough gas to the New England states to fill winter demands there, the pipelines must pass through the state of New York.  You don’t have to believe me – just look at a map.

Thus, for the second straight winter, tankers carrying LNG produced in Russia will now be landing in Boston Harbor.

Insanity.

The ‘worst year ever’? Seriously? – No kidding, I heard some liberal nitwit on the radio this week wail that 2018 has been the worst year ever for Americans. You can see similar sentiments coming from those on the radical left expressed all over social media at any given moment of any given day.

Look, I can understand why anyone who gets their news from CNN, MSNBC or the three major TV networks might feel that way, given the unending barrage of doom and gloom emanating from the newsfakers working at those fake news outlets every hour of every day. But the expression of this belief shows a mind-numbing lack of situational awareness and historical context.

Let’s start with some situational awareness:

  • Current unemployment rate – 3.7%, the lowest rate recorded since the 1960s, and 2% below the average rate recorded from 1948 through 2018. In 2009-10, there were months this rate reached 10%. Black unemployment, Hispanic unemployment and female unemployment all are at all-time lows.
  • Economic Growth – we’ve averaged 3% GDP growth this year, the highest this century.
  • Consumer spending – over the holidays, consumer spending – always a sign of a growing, healthy economy – reached all-time record levels.
  • Gasoline prices – in most states, the price for regular unleaded gas is below $2.00 per gallon.  Yes, there are exceptions, like the states of New York and California, but those are due to the high-tax policies of years of Democrat rule in state governments.
  • Jobs – as I predicted would be the case two years ago, the biggest problem in our economy today is that we have too few qualified workers to fill all the job openings out there right now. It’s a great problem to have.
  • Stocks – Yes, the stock market has gone all wobbly since October, but as we sit here this morning, the Dow is about 23% above where it sat two years ago. I’d take an 11.5% return each year in my IRA – wouldn’t you?

Now, let’s talk about historical context.  Compared to most of the past half century, the United States is at relative peace in the world. The biggest problem there is that the opposition to President Trump – the liberals and neo-cons who got us into 7 different civil wars in and around the Middle East during the Bush and Obama years – cannot stand that to be the case. Which explains why they’ve reacted so furiously to Trump’s proposals to end U.S. involvement in the civil wars in Syria and Afghanistan.

You want to know what all the furor among our media/warmonger establishment regarding Jamal Khashoggi was really about? It was about trying to destroy the Trump Administration’s strong relationship with Saudi Arabia, a relationship that the President is now leveraging in order to enable him to bring our American troops home from the Syrian hell-hole that Obama got us into 7 long years ago. You might also want to note that, since the Washington Post admitted that Khashoggi was in fact a shill for the Qatari government last week, the fake news media has basically quit talking about him.  Funny how that works.

The Crazy Little Fat Guy in North Korea is contained. North Korea and South Korea have normalized diplomatic relations, an amazing event no one but Donald Trump thought possible just two years ago. Russia may be exporting LNG to Boston Harbor, but it is otherwise staying within its borders. The most violence Americans have seen on their TV screens in recent months has been video of the riots taking place in Paris, which is a reaction to leftist/socialist political policies.

The worst year ever? Even America’s poor are so much better off today than they have been in the past. The poor among us in America today live lifestyles similar to those lived by America’s middle class half a century ago.

The worst year ever? Go back and read a little bit about how screwed up America’s air and water were as recently as the 1970s. Despite all the alarmist messaging coming every day from the socialist “environmental” movement, our environment is exponentially cleaner than it was just 40 years ago.

The worst year ever? In the palms of our hands, most Americans hold more computing power each day than existed on earth just 70 years ago.

The worst year ever? A century ago, few Americans owned cars and there was no such thing as commercial air travel. 90 years ago, no penicillin. 80 years ago, television did not exist. 65 years ago, no polio vaccine or interstate highway system. 50 years ago, no high-speed copiers. 40 years ago, no fax machines. 30 years ago, there was no email. 20 years ago, no text messages. 12 years ago, no such thing as an I-phone.

The worst year ever?  Shut up, you hopelessly ignorant fools.

That is all.

Why are CNN and MSNBC Such Cesspits of Racism and Bigotry?

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

News you can’t trust, from NBC. –  The Daily Caller has a great piece of actual journalism up this morning, detailing how the dishonest fakenews hacks at NBC created a false narrative by misquoting a Republican Senator, ran with it all day long and still refuse to properly correct their multiple “errors.”

It takes about 5 minutes to read the piece in full, and it will be the best 5 minutes you spend today – well, except for the 8 minutes you’re about to spend reading the rest of Today’s Campaign Update, that is.

Why are liberal cable news operations such cesspits of racism and bigotry?, Part 9,385. – Harry Enten, an “election analyst” used by the newfakers at CNN, based his analysis of the 2020 race for the Democrat Nomination on that party’s – and perhaps his own – racism and bigotry towards white male persons here in the United States of America.

Don’t believe me?  Here’s a direct quote:

“If you want to win in the Midwest, there may not be a better man than this guy,” Enten said while talking about Senator Sherrod Brown, noting the Ohio legislator’s success as Republicans dominated in the state’s other races. “So if Democrats want to play, this is an interesting guy for them. I will point out though, another white male. I am very suspect of that this year going into a Democratic primary with women doing well and the African-American face of the Democratic party, I am not sure it’s the time to nominate a white man.”

No wonder Irish Bob O’Rourke likes to pretend he’s part Hispanic (he isn’t) – if you’re a white male in today’s Democrat Party, apparently you need not apply. Look for Bernie Sanders to soon change his first name to “Benito”, while Joe Biden will shock everyone by not going for the obvious “Jose” and pick the more elegant and Western-sounding “Sancho” instead. Creep Porn Lawyer Michael Avenatti, who harbors presidential aspirations of his own despite a series of personal setbacks the last few months, will no doubt go with “Basta”, the Spanish word ironically meaning “that’s enough” he uses at the end of every Twitter message he sends.

But hey, this Enten guy ain’t nuthin’ compared to Morning Mika (whose last name I can’t spell and don’t care too Google), who insulted Secretary of State Mike Pompeo live on air, before her entire audience that would fill an entire high school gymnasium, by using an anti-gay slur, calling him President Trump’s “butt boy.”

This, of course, is just par for the course over at MSNBC, where Joy Ann Reid still hosts a daily program six months after having been revealed as an anti-gay bigot. But hey, it looks like Mika did have to take at least one forced day off, as she did not show up for work Thursday morning after hurling her insult at Pompeo on Wednesday’s show, although she was right back to work this morning.

But back to Mike Pompeo for a moment.  This is a truly great American, a guy who not only graduated from West Point, but finished first in his class there. After spending 5 years in active service, he then obtained his law degree from Harvard University. He went on to run multiple businesses before being elected three times to serve as a congressman from his home state of Kansas. He served as Director of the CIA for a year under President Trump before being picked to replace the fired Rex Tillerson as Secretary of State, where he has done a fantastic job.

This is the guy Morning Mika refers to as a “butt boy.” Just so we’re all aware. And NBC/MSNBC is just fine with that.

They got their man, who they knew about long ago. – French law enforcement shot and killed one Charif Chekatt, a 29-year-old whom they had been searching for since Tuesday night’s attack near Strasbourg’s Christmas market. Chekatt, shouting “Allah Akbar!”, killed three shoppers and wounded thirteen more before fleeing the scene.

Unlike in America, where our law enforcement officials and fake news media pretend to wonder about the “motives” of obvious radical Islamic terrorists for days on end, only admitting to reality after pretty much everyone has stopped following the story, French officials identified this as an act of terrorism almost immediately, clearly identified the suspect they were looking for, and disseminated photos of him to help in their search.

While that is all commendable, one reason they were able to do all of that is because they had been aware of Chekatt and his terrorist associations for many months before he committed his act. Yet another “known wolf” who is allowed to commit mass murder before anything is done about him.  Sad.

James Woods won the day on Twitter.:

Is NBC News Faker Than CNN? It Was On Monday.

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Seems like there is a lesson to be learned in here somewhere. –  So, lessee here…the pro-Trump Republican gubernatorial candidate in Arizona, Doug Ducey, easily won his race by more than 150,000 votes.  Meanwhile, the Trump-avoiding GOP senatorial candidate, Martha McSally, who basically campaigned as the second coming of despicable RINO Jeff Flake, lost her race by about 48,000 votes at the latest count.

Hmmmm.  How do we explain that?  Think maybe there’s a cause and effect kind of thing going on there?  Nah, must be something else, because your fake news media tells you so.

Speaking of lessons to be learned, it seems the French government has a hard time doing that. – Fresh off of taking a series of cheap shots at President Donald Trump and the United States over these past four days, French President Emmanuel Macron saw his public approval ratings take another nose dive. The most recent poll shows that just 26% of French citizens approve of their juvenile President, while 71% disapprove.

President Trump must have seen that poll, given that he issued this tweet directed at Macron early this morning:

It’s good advice – are France and the rest of Europe capable of learning from the hard lessons of the past?  A review of the history of the 20th century is not at all encouraging.

Hey, hey, hey!  We have a narrative to stick to here, buddy! – NASA scientist Martin Mlynczak of NASA’s Langley Research Center expects the earth to go into a period of record…wait for it…COLD temperatures in the coming months and years thanks to a lack of solar sun spot activity.  The lack of sun spots, i.e., solar storms, in recent years is causing the sun to go into a prolonged solar minimum cycle during which the heat it emits is lower than normal.

“Right now, it is very low indeed … 10 times smaller than we see during more active phases of the solar cycle,” says Mlynczak.  “If current trends continue, it could soon set a Space Age record for cold. We’re not there quite yet, but it could happen in a matter of months.”  Yikes.

Somewhere, Al Gore is sweating anyway.

Lying is what she does for a living, after all. – Longtime Democrat fake journalist hack Andrea Mitchell repeatedly told her paltry audience on MSNBC yesterday that Broward County Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes is…wait for it… a Republican!  I kid you not.

The problem is, of course, she isn’t.  Yes, she was put into her office by doofus ex-Florida Governor Jeb! Bush, who is sort of a Republican, but Jeb! appointed lots of Democrats while Governor there because he wanted to be all bi-partisan and stuff, like any other good RINO would have done.

But Ms. Snipes is a registered Democrat today, and has always been a registered Democrat.  We could be generous here and speculate that Mitchell was simply mistaken yesterday, but it is far more likely that she, like everyone else in our fake news media, was actually reading from a set of talking points provided to her by the Democratic National Committee.

Oh, and speaking of Andrea Mitchell, she also had this to say on Twitter yesterday:

Yes, friends, NBC News, the same organization that allowed Matt Lauer to prey on young interns and aspiring reporters for years while his co-hosts joked about it on-air, the same organization that killed Ronan Farrow’s Harvey Weinstein expose’ before he got it published by The New Yorker, has won an award for its reporting on sexual harassment.  You seriously just can’t make this stuff up.

While we’re on the subject of NBC News… – Jonathan Allen published a fawning puff piece at NBCnews.com on Democrat gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum yesterday under this headline:  “Gillum Bets His Future on Defending Floridians’ Right To Vote,” which is possibly the most dishonest headline in the history of headlines.

Let’s be honest about what Gillum is defending here, ok?  No one, not Rick Scott, not Ron DeSantis, not Donald Trump, not anyone is attempting to deny any American citizen the right to cast a LEGAL vote, in Florida or anywhere else. Gillum is actually betting his future on trying to force the counting of fraudulent votes, illegal votes cast by non-citizens, dead people and people who never existed.  He’s betting his future on trying to force the counting of boxes of ballots mysteriously “found” after election day in trunks of cars, elementary school kitchens and other unlikely places, and ballots that witnesses testify were in fact filled out by Democrat election workers in Broward and Palm Beach Counties.

He is defending the chronic practice by elections officials in both of those counties to refuse to comply with Florida’s election laws, despite the fact that the state’s other 65 counties consistently manage to do so.  He is defending the refusal by Snipes and Palm Beach County Elections Supervisor Susan Bucher (Also a Democrat, despite what Andrea Mitchell might try to tell you) to comply with multiple court orders. He is defending the most obvious, blatant attempt to steal an election since Al Gore tried to steal a presidential election in these same two counties back in 2000. That is what Gillum is “defending” here, nothing more.

Luckily for the nation, Gillum and Democrat Senator Bill Nelson are going to fail, but NBC and the rest of our fake news media will just keep on lying about it all anyway.  Because that is who they are and it is what they do.

That is all.

Vote Republican. It’s Your Civic Duty.

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Hey!  There’s an election tomorrow!  I will be live-blogging it here starting at 6:00 p.m. Central Time.  Please join me in the comments section for tons of fun as the results either make me look like the smartest guy on the planet or a damn fool.  Could go either way.

Get out and vote for Republicans. – If you haven’t already done so, get your sorry butt out to the polls tomorrow and vote Republican.  Period.  There is nothing to think about here.  Just find that “Straight Republican” button and hit it. Oh, and then wait and watch to make sure that your voting machine then populates the votes properly, because we have had reports of things not working properly (imagine that).

And yes, vote the straight Republican ticket, regardless of where you live.  I’m in Texas, as most of you know by now, and this is the easiest decision we’ve ever had.  I’m a ticket-splitter from way back, but way back was when there were still decent people running for office as Democrats.  No more.

Anyone who buys into today’s Democrat agenda, which includes stuff like Antifa, assaulting Trump supporters in public places, rampant voter fraud, single-payer healthcare, raising your taxes and open borders, is not a decent person.  Sorry, they just aren’t.  They might be good fathers, loving mothers and otherwise good citizens, but if they support the Democrat agenda, they can no longer be described as decent human beings. That’s what 25 years of running the party on the principles of Saul Alinsky has done for them.

If you have a problem with any Republican candidate, just remember that his or her opponent is a Democrat, and your problem becomes no problem at all. Democrats are not allowed anymore to be independent operators. A guy like Irish Bob O’Rourke is promising to go to Washington and buck the system, becoming an “independent voice” for Texans.

The truth is that Irish Bob would become the de facto third senator from New York as Chuck Schumer leads him around by the nose, telling him not only how to vote on every issue, but also which approved talking points to recite during his appearances on CNN and MSNBC. Hell, if you’re Joe Manchin, Schumer even dictates which lines at the State of the Union speech you can stand and applaud.  Manchin’s a three-term incumbent – you think a rookie from Texas is going to be treated any better?

The same goes for Colin Allred, the guy running against GOP incumbent congressman Pete Sessions.  Allred is a very good-looking and articulate guy, promising to go to Washington and challenge San Fran Nan at every turn on behalf of Texans. The truth is that San Fran Nan would have him wrapped around her crooked little finger about 5 minutes after he lands at Reagan National Airport.  Because Democrats march in lockstep on every issue. Period.

So, if you’re thinking about voting for O’Rourke or Allred, think again.  They’re Democrats.  If you’re thinking of voting for the Democrat (whomever it is) running against George P. Bush for Texas Land Commissioner because you don’t like Bush’s plan to turn the Alamo and surrounding grounds into a glorified amusement park, well, join the crowd.  But do you think the Democrat has a better idea?  Seriously?  What would that be – to turn it over to the federal Department of the Interior for safe keeping?

C’mon, man.  Be serious.

In the past two years, America has embarked on an almost unprecedented period of relative peace in the world and economic growth. The Trump Administration has reasserted American authority at the United Nations, NATO and all the various G-7, G-20 and whatever other G-something or other summits there are these days. The horrendous turmoil in the Middle East that resulted from the Obama-sanctioned “Arab Spring” has been greatly calmed and ISIS has been largely destroyed.

The Crazy Little Fat Guy over in North Korea hasn’t fired a missile in hostility in many months, and his main interactions with the U.S. these days involve requesting more meetings with the Secretary of State and other U.S. representatives to get approval for his next step toward decommissioning his country’s nuclear capabilities.

Russia, which invaded Crimea, Syria and the Ukraine during the Obama years, hasn’t invaded anyone since January 20, 2017.  This is not a coincidence.  China has been helpful with the Trump approach to North Korea, and now appears ready to make a real trade deal after five months of escalating “trade war” with the United States has begun to damage its economy.

So, after you’ve had a couple of cups of coffee and showered tomorrow morning (yes, please shower for everyone’s sake), go vote.  For Republicans.  Straight ticket.  It’s not just the right idea, it’s your duty if you love this country.  It’s the easiest decision you’ve ever had.

And now, for some final predictions:

The Republicans will gain a net 4 senate seats, defeating McCaskill in Missouri, Heitcamp in North Dakota, and some combination of Tester in Montana, Manchin in West Virginia, Nelson in Florida and Donnelly in Indiana.  They will lose some combination of Heller in Nevada or McSally in Arizona.  The net of all of that will be a 4-seat gain and an overall 55-seat majority for the next two years.

In the House, the Republicans hold onto their advantage, losing a net 15 seats.

That’s where I’ve been since January, and I see no reason to change now.

In some specific high-profile races:

Irish Bob “Beto” O’Rourke’s $80 million campaign will buy him 45% of the vote in his race against Ted Cruz.  Four years ago, $30 million got Wendy Davis 39% of the vote.  So, if the Democrats can throw about $125 million behind some chosen golden child in 2022, they might actually win a race in Texas.

But this year, Republicans will win every statewide election in Texas, as they have done in every statewide election cycle since 1994.

Republican Brian Kemp will win 52% of the vote in the Georgia governor’s race, just enough to avoid a runoff there.

In Florida, the early voting is tilting very nicely for the Republicans, who always have a significant voting edge on Election Day.  Based on that, I think Ron DeSantis will eke out a very narrow win in the governor’s race over Democrat/socialist Andrew Gillum there.

Again, I’m either going to look like a genius or a damn fool come Wednesday morning, but we’ll have fun tomorrow night regardless.
That is all.

That Week When Kanye West and Taylor Swift Traded Roles in the Democrat Narrative

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Giving advice like this is why she had to take a job at a third-rate cable outlet. – MSNBC’s pet fake conservative host Nicolle Wallace told Chris Matthews on “Hardball” yesterday that she advised Jeb Bush to physically attack Donald Trump after their first debate.: “I told Jeb Bush after that debate that I thought he should have punched [Trump] in the face.”  The demented Wallace said that doing so would have made Jeb! a hero.  All of which explains why Nicolle Wallace can’t get a job as a political advisor anymore.

Mmmmmm…smells like #Winning… –

Senate confirms 15 Trump judges after GOP leaders, Democrats strike deal

“Everybody mount up!  We got us a runaway!”:  It is truly sad and astonishing how viciously the Democrats and their media toadies invariably go after any African American who strays from their leftist plantation.  Astonishing and disgusting and yes, sad.  It happens every time.

From Clarence Thomas to J.C. Watts to Herman Cain to Ben Carson to Tim Scott to Candace Owens, with many others in between, the playbook is always the same.  They’ve even done it to the great Jim Brown, one of the pioneers of the civil rights movement and a symbol of “Black Power” for half a century, for simply saying he doesn’t think kneeling in protest of the national anthem and American flag is appropriate.

Now comes Kanye West, one of the most successful Black music artists and businessmen of this or any generation, a man who just 13 years ago was hailed as a hero by these very same people when, on national television, he said “George Bush hates black people.”  Kanye was a hero again when he stole the mic from a teenage Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards show so he could take off on a rant about how Beyonce’ should have won the award for best video instead.

Kanye’s always been a little off-the-wall and more than a little “out there”, prone to going off on somewhat bizarre and disjointed tirades in public settings and speaking his mind far more bluntly than polite society thought was, well, appropriate, don’t you know. But as long as Kanye was sticking with the approved Democrat/media narrative that George W. Bush was a racist or Tay-Tay was just a privileged white girl stealing an award from a more deserving Black woman, Kanye was, like, totally awesome.  He wasn’t cray-cray, he was just Kanye bein’ Kanye.

But yesterday, Kanye goes to the White House wearing a red MAGA cap, hugs President Donald Trump and goes off on a terrific rant about how Trump’s pro-America, anti-Obama policies are in fact incredibly empowering for African Americans, and suddenly you see the leftist keepers of the Democrat talking points on MSNBC and CNN calling him “crazy,” a “house-negro”, an “embarrassment”, an “uncle Tom”, and even worse.  One fake “conservative” host on MSNBC accused him of having “mental problems” and the President of being “willing to exploit them.”  Interestingly, most of these things were said by white people, who, if they said exactly the same things about any Democrat black person would immediately be accused of being racists.

This week’s radical shifting of celebrity roles in our fake news media must have non-ideological African Americans suffering from whiplash.  Just a few weeks ago, the Democrats/media Axis of Propaganda’s narrative told them that Tay-Tay was the privileged little white girl who is still holding Beyonce’s trophy hostage, and Kanye was a symbol of Black empowerment.  Today, they’re supposed to now worship Tay-Tay because she endorsed a certain Democrat loser in Tennessee, and they’re supposed to hate Kanye for hugging a President.

Just a guess, but it seems likely that the millions of African Americans who now have jobs after collecting unemployment for 8 years under Barack Obama probably don’t much care what a bunch of mainly-white talking heads at MSNBC and CNN are saying about Kanye West.

And speaking of Tay-Tay… – Man, has it been a bad week for Taylor Swift, or what?  Sunday night, the pop singer finally broke her political silence, endorsing Democrat Phil Bredesen in his race for the U.S. Senate against Republican Marsha Blackburn.

At the time Tay-Tay jumped off the political cliff, the most recent polls indicated this was a very tight race.  But when the New York Times decided to do a live poll of the race two days later, it showed Blackburn with a huge 18 point lead.  Two additional polls issued this week also show Blackburn’s lead in the mid-teens.

Swift’s jump into politics was conveniently timed to coincide with her hosting the American Music Awards program Tuesday night, and organizers of the event were hopeful that the star could bring in yuuuuuge ratings.  Nope.  Tay-Tay’s gig was in fact the lowest-rated AMA show in history.

Combine that with the certainty that her ill-advised leap into leftist politics will no doubt result in a steep drop in her future music sales, and this has been the week from hell for poor Tay-Tay.  But hey, she has S.E. Cupp, Nicolle Wallace and the rest of the depraved nitwits who serve their Democrat masters on MSNBC on her side, so she’s got that going for her.

It isn’t much.

That is all.

Today’s Campaign Update

The Irish Bob O’Rourke clean-up crew is working overtime these days… –  While Democrats on Capitol Hill in Washington are busy making up stories about what a terrible guy Judge Brett Kavanaugh was in high school and college, it turns out that the Democrat challenger to Ted Cruz for the senate seat in Texas really did have an extraordinarily misspent youth.

On Monday it was revealed that, at the age of 19, Irish Bob kept busy writing nasty reviews of Broadway musicals for his college newspaper, because of course he did.  In one of those reviews, he said that the actresses’ “only qualifications seem to be their phenomenally large breasts and tight buttocks.”

Now, if Irish Bob were a Republican, this noticing of young womens’ physiques would be turned into a week-long scandal of immense proportions.  The wailing from social justice warriors and virtue signaling from the #NeverTrump contingent at the National Review and the Weekly Standard alone would probably crash the New York Stock Exchange.

But Irish Bob is a Democrat, and because of that fact this got a posting on CNN’s website in an obvious effort by his campaign to get this pre-emptively into the public domain with a friendly media outlet to inoculate the candidate against any effort by his opponent to raise it.  Think of it as similar to you going to the local CVS to get a flu shot.

Just another example of your Democrat/fake news media axis of propaganda in action, folks.

ummm…don’t we need an FBI investigation on this?  If not, why not? – Lunatic Kavanaugh accuser Julie Swetnick, the client of the Creepy Porn Lawyer, was interviewed by some fake journalist at NBC on Monday.  During the course of the interview, she changed major, key parts of what she claimed in her sworn affidavit, meaning that she committed perjury in the document she filed with the Senate Judiciary Committee.

At about the same time she was being interviewed, President Donald Trump (I never tire of typing those three glorious words) was authorizing the FBI to go ahead and include Ms. Swetnick in their list of people to be interviewed this week.  She was left off of the initial list, presumably because everyone with functioning synapses in their cranial cavities knows she’s lying her creepy ass off, but the ongoing demands from Democrats to expand the investigation led the President to act accordingly.

What this means is that, thanks to the Democrats who are perfectly happy to toss this woman to the wolves to support their daily narrative, the FBI will now formally interview Ms. Swetnick under oath, and compare what she says in that interview with what she said in her affidavit and what she told NBC.  This nutjob is in a world of trouble, and her creepy lawyer should be as well for giving her such awful advice.

We interrupt this program for a little #Winning found Monday on Twitter:

Hey, y’all, Trump’s calendar from July, 1982 has been found!

C’mon, that’s funny.  Admit it.

The evolution of a Democrat smear.

  • Democrats Friday:  He’s a rapist!
  • Democrats Saturday:  He drank too much in college!
  • Democrats Sunday:  He was belligerent when he drank too much in college!
  • Democrats Monday:  He threw ice at some guy in a bar when he was in college!
  • Democrats Today:  [Turn page in narrative manual] He lied under oath!

Yes, friends, that is where we are going today – that he “lied” when trying to recall a bunch of stuff that happened – or didn’t happen – 36 years ago.  He “lied” because some leftwing college professor who hates his guts claims that he saw Kavanaugh pass out on several occasions, something Kavanaugh and many people who knew him at the time all deny.

He “lied” because some other guy claims he saw Kavanaugh get violently aggressive when drinking, a claim that Kavanaugh and many people who knew him at the time all deny.

My personal favorite, though, is this one you will see being shopped by the fake news media today:

Mr. Griffin, who is a producer at the execrable MSNBC, is all giddy because he thinks this amounts to “lying under oath.”  But even if what the “two friends” are saying is true, it is no such thing.

Before I go on, a little background:  I spent years doing expert testimony as part of my job.  I’ve been deposed under oath many times, and testified in both civil and criminal cases.  I fully understand the position Judge Kavanaugh was in last Friday.

He was asked when he first learned of Ms. Ramirez’s allegations.  If what the two “friends” are claiming is true, he apparently heard rumors they were coming sometime before the New Yorker irresponsibly ran with its unverified and unverifiable story.

But, the most honest answer to the question that was asked was that the first time he truly learned of the specific allegations Ms. Ramirez was making was when he – and everyone else – read the New Yorker online posting.  That moment was when he first learned of the specific details of what Ms. Ramirez was alleging.

There’s no “lie” there at all – he in fact gave the most direct and truthful answer to the question that was asked, and did not expand on that answer.  That is exactly what any witness is always instructed to do.  He wasn’t asked when he first heard rumors these allegations might be coming – he was asked when he first learned of them.  Had he been asked when he first heard the rumors, he would have no doubt given a different answer.  Not because he was lying, but because he was telling the absolute truth.

But you can’t expect leftwing fake journalists at NBC or anywhere else to understand any of this, or care about it even if they do.  They’re carrying the water for the approved Democrat narrative, and today’s narrative will be that Judge Kavanaugh “lied under oath.”

Once that fails, the narratives for Wednesday and Thursday will only become even more absurd. Because that’s how Democrat/media narratives always evolve.

That is all.

If You Get Your News From Twitter, Tuesday was, like, Totally Awesome

The Evening Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Some Twitter highlights from today:

Wait, you mean, like, newspapers that print inflammatory, blatantly false op/eds defaming the President of the United States without identifying the writer? Hey, I know one…

So, what do you do if you’re one of the fake news media outlets that has been promoting the notion that Irish Beto O’Rourke is going to beat Ted Cruz in the Texas Senate race, and you see a new Quinnipiac poll that has Cruz expanding his lead in the race to 9 points?  If you’re the newsfakers at @The Hill, you hilariously bury the lead as far and deeply as you can possibly bury it:

…and if that doesn’t get you far enough into fakery, you issue another tweet with another hilariously-biased headline that names the Democrat, but identifies the Republican with the four-letter last name only as “Texas GOP senator…”.  Holy cow, that is some serious #fakenews right there.

Meanwhile, Stephen Miller lightens the mood with a hilarious offering of his own, lampooning the shameful efforts by Democrats to falsely portray the FBI’s jurisdiction in the Kavanaugh matter…

Houston radio talk show host nails Democrats and their voting habits here:

Meanwhile, back in #fakenews world, NBC refuses to be outdone by The Hill or anyone else.  Note the use of the term “blindsided”.  Yes, because President Trump has only been transparently previewing his declassification action for about four months now:

Watching this guy change positions is like watching a child with a damn yo-yo. Blast Jeff Flake all you want, but at least he is consistently venal and cowardly.

Back in #fakenews world, MSNBC’s Kyle Griffin delivers a real “scoop” – that shameful valor thief Richard Blumenthal opposes the Kavanaugh nomination.  You’re a real scoop-meister, there, Kyle.

And finally, from our Good God Who Cares department, the Daily Caller delivers this little gem:

*sigh*

Just another day in getting the news as only Twitter can deliver it America.

That is all.

The Democrat Meltdown Over the Supreme Court Vacancy Gets Off to a Rollicking Start

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Tired of all this Winning yet? Part I – With Justice Anthony Kennedy announcing his long-anticipated retirement from Supreme Court on Wednesday, it was just like Election Night 2016 over at CNN.  Check out these looooooooonnnnnng faces:

Just charming, aren’t they?

Tired of all this Winning yet?  Part II – Oh, but it got even better over on Twitter (because liberal outrage and angst is always better on Twitter), with SJWs and snowflakes wailing out their innermost feelings in 280 characters or less.  Here are a couple of examples:

And this:

Yes, because this 81 year-old man had an obligation to keep working to make sure helpless snowflakes like Molly Knight wouldn’t have meltdowns on Twitter.  My goodness.

There were many  more examples of liberal depravity and dementia in the wake of Kennedy’s announcement, but they pretty much all involve the “F” word or explicit references to male and female body parts, so I won’t quote them here.

Note that Ms. Knight is already promising riots over this change in a single Supreme Court justice.  She was far from alone.  Former Democratic Rep. Donna Edwards (Md.) told the execrable Nicole Wallace on MSNBC that “It’s time for Democrats to throw down, and what I mean by that is we’ve been playing by the rule book, and Donald Trump and Republicans have been playing by street rules,” Edwards said. “We need to play by street rules.”

Oh, hey, everyone, what we’ve been seeing from the lunatic Democrats the last 20 months is them “playing by the rule book.”  Of course, Ms. Edwards left out that it’s the Saul Alinsky Rules for Radicals rulebook, but I’m sure she just ran out of time.

Then there’s Angela Rye, who is some sort of “analyst” for last-place CNN.  Her advice to Democrats went like this:  “They have to raise hell,” Rye said. “I said it kind of—whatever, but I mean, like, seriously. This is a decision that doesn’t just impact our lives next year or the next two years.”  Man, is that some serious analysis, or what?

Not to be outdone, alleged serial woman harasser Chris Matthews (how does this guy still have his job?) told his audience that the nomination fight over Kennedy’s vacant seat is a “time for vengeance” for Democrats. See?  This is the Democrats and their fake media guardians, playing by that “rule book.”

While the Democrats were actually relieved that Kennedy’s announcement now gives them an excuse to quit talking about the fake “don’t separate the families!” border issue that is killing them in the polls, the truth is that the politics of this situation are equally horrible for them, really as bad as they could possibly be.  Even though craven RINOs like Susan Collins and Jeff Flake are already scurrying out of the woodwork promising to use the nominating process to satisfy personal grudges with President Trump, the fact of the matter is that the Democrats don’t control a single lever of power in this process – they have no means whatsoever of stopping it.

For that, they have their own ex-Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to thank, because it was Reid who decided to go down the road of eliminating the filibuster rule on judicial nominations.  Too bad, so sad, as my kids used to say.

To make matters even worse, the Democrats in this mid-term election year have at minimum 8 incumbent senators from states won by Donald Trump in 2016 who are in serious jeopardy of losing their bids to retain their seats.  The vote on Kennedy’s replacement will in all likelihood come at some point in October, bare weeks before Election Day.

Think of the fix in which this places Democrat senators like North Dakota’s Heidi Heitkamp, Montana’s Jon Tester, Missouri’s Claire McCaskill, Florida’s Bill Nelson, and West Virginia’s Joe Manchin.  They and other vulnerable Dems are going to be placed under severe pressure by the Party’s far-left voter base and Majority Leader Chuck Schumer to march in lockstep (because marching in lockstep is what good little fascists are best at) with the rest of the Democrat senators in opposing any nominee.  But for many of these folks, doing that will be fatal, assuming President Trump puts forward another nominee of similar character and quality as Neil Gorsuch.

Trust me, Trump’s nominee has to be someone who is completely impeccable of character and whose record of public service is unassailable in any honest way.  The Democrats will go to extreme lengths to “Bork” him or her by portraying them as “too extreme” to assume a seat on the highest court.  Failing that, they will then subject the nominee to the Clarence Thomas strategy, so expect a parade of people coming forward to hurl false accusations of harassment or some other form of bad behavior in an effort to execute what then-nominee Thomas called “a high-tech lynching.”  Because this is what the Democrats and their media guardians do.

One thing we can all be absolutely certain of is this:  President Donald Trump (I never tire of typing those three words) will put forward a stellar, high-character, strict constructionist nominee to fill this vacancy.  He will do that because that is what he promised to do in his campaign, and this man, like no president before him, keeps his promises to the American people.

Just another day in Donald Trump keeping his promises to America.

That is all.
