Why Are Democrats Trying to Foment More Violence?

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Everyone needs to understand what this is. – We all need to comprehend and digest the full and utter mendacity of what the Democrats and their toadies in the fake news media are trying to use these very convenient mass shootings to achieve right now. They are attempting to brand the President of the United States and anyone who supports him as “white nationalists” as a means of irreparably damaging his re-election campaign.

Two Democrat contenders, Cory Booker and Julian Castro, through his brother and campaign manager Joaquin Castro, gave up that game yesterday. Booker used his New Hampshire campaign chairman to issue a call for President Trump to cancel all future rallies because they are “a breeding ground for racism and bigotry that inspire white nationalist attacks like the one in El Paso on Saturday.”

This cynical, self-serving demand should surprise no one, since the crowds lining up to attend Trump’s rallies continue to attract more and more citizens as time goes on, and serve as the most effective way I’ve ever seen for a candidate to build and maintain enthusiasm. Those rallies are the centerpiece element for Trump’s campaign, and thus the Democrats have no problem heinously slandering half of the American population in order to try to kill them. It’s despicable, it’s disgusting, it’s disgraceful, it’s the Democrats.

As if that bit of utter mendacity isn’t bad enough, Julian Castro and his twin brother Joaquin – a San Antonio member of congress – stepped up to Joaquin’s Twitter feed late Monday evening and knocked it out of the park. Check it out:

The 44 San Antonio citizens listed there include housewives, retirees, blue collar workers, many of whom live in Joaquin’s district. Thus, Castro is doxing and painting targets for intimidation on the backs of his own constituents, something we’ve never seen even another cynical Democrat do before. Castro later lamely tried to defend his act of rank mendacity by saying, again on Twitter, that lists of political contributors are public information, which is true. What is despicable in this instance is the false message of intimidation from a sitting member of congress that accompanies the disclosure. This is not complicated.

The behavior of the fake journalists in the fake news media was no better yesterday. The news-fakers at the New York Times did this:

Despicable Democrat activist Joe Scarborough supported the Castro brothers with this:

And serial liar and former George W. Bush staffer Nicolle Wallace, after reprehensibly claiming on-air that President Trump has called for the “extermination of Latinos”, was obviously ordered by her superiors at MSNBC to issue this lame apology:

Then there was this from noted Democrat activist and CNN and New York Times contributor Wajahat Ali:

As I noted in yesterday’s Campaign Update, Democrats always try to exploit tragedies for political purposes. Always. It’s part of their DNA at this point. They believe they are superior to everyone else, and thus are entitled to engage in this despicable behavior because their intentions are pure and they know what’s good for you.

But what we have witnessed them collectively doing in the wake of these two shootings – one committed by an overt, avid supporter of Elizabeth Warren, the other committed by a mindless anarchist who expressly disavows any support of the President – has gone a step further than anything we have seen from them in the past.

It is one thing to turn the funeral for a dead Democrat Senator, Paul Wellstone, into a raucus campaign rally, as they did in the midst of the 2008 presidential campaign. It is quite another thing to respond to the tragic killings of more than 30 Americans by two lunatics with conduct and statements that are so outrageous, so utterly beyond the pale that they appear intentionally designed to move our nation to the precipice of a second civil war.

We can only hope that cooler heads will start to prevail soon, but in today’s Democrat Party, it becomes increasingly difficult with every passing day to identify just who those cooler heads might be.

Watch your back. Protect your loved ones. The Democrat Party and its media toadies are moving our country into a very dangerous time, and doing so with careful and obvious intent.

That is all.

Dem Debate, Night 2: A Status Quo-Preserving Farce

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

My goodness, feel free to shoot me if I ever do that again. – I’m afraid I made the horrific decision to actually watch the Wednesday night Democrat debate live, and I hardly got a minute of sleep as a result. What a horror show that party is.

You put any one of these circus clowns in the White House and this country as we have known it is over. Over and done. Overall, this has to be the dumbest bunch ever to take a debate stage together.

I never thought I’d witness anyone more useless than New York City Mayor Bill DeBlasio, but Washington Governor Jay Inslee gave him a run last night, and Colorado Senator Michael Bennet wasn’t far behind. Every time Inslee started talking about how wonderful he has been on “climate change,” I wanted to find a razor, fill the bathtub and slit my wrists.  Bennet, meanwhile, honestly sounded like he’d had one too many toddies before going on stage – I’ve never seen him speak in such a mush-mouthed way.

DeBlasio?  Why is he there again? This is a guy who is forcing his police officers to grin and bear it as they are assaulted by gangs of thugs, and he wants us to make him Commander-in-Chief? Go away, Tall Stupid Man.

As was the case on Tuesday night, the worst people in the room were the Democrat activists pretending to be moderators provided by CNN. Here is how these tools of the DNC allocated speaking time last night:

Biden: 21:01

Harris: 17:43

Booker: 12:59

Gillibrand: 11:18

Inslee: 10:46

Gabbard: 10:32

Bennet: 10:26

Castro: 10:25

DeBlasio: 9:41

Yang: 8:38

So, other than Harris and Booker, clear favorites of the DNC/Media complex, no one in the rest of the field got more than half the speaking time that Biden received. Yang – who the DNC hates with a passion and wants out of the race – got 40% of Biden’s time, which is three MORE minutes than he was allocated in the June debate.

That’s mostly the fault of the moderators, who didn’t pose a question to anyone other than Biden or Harris until the “debate” was half an hour old, but it was also due to a clever tactic employed by Harris. You can say what you want about Harris – and there are so, so many things to be said about her – but she is clever.

She obviously watched the first night and figured out how the moderators were doing things.  Anytime one candidate made a derogatory remark about or challenged another candidate, they then gave 30 seconds to the other candidate to respond.

Now, Creepy Uncle Joe is about 3 more facial surgeries away from becoming an actual Roman bust and extremely prone to gaffes, and Harris knows that camera and speaking time is his kryptonite. So, she spent most of her own time targeting Biden, which generally resulted in Biden stuttering and stammering in half-sentences and often in half-words and finally targeting her back, resulting in even more speaking time of her own.

She wasted most of that time, appearing nervous and offering nonsensical and evasive answers about her own record, but the tactic of exposing Creepy Uncle Joe was very smart and effective.

As a result, Biden ends up being one of the clear losers in this debate. His poll numbers will tank down into the low 20s in the next round polls to be released over the next 10 days or so. But he will go into hiding and those numbers will again recover back up maybe into the 30s as deranged Democrat voters forget who he really is and what he really looks and sounds like these days. Then the next debate will come around, and we’ll repeat the whole process again.

Despite all her air time, Harris is a clear loser because she will just tread water after this debate. She utterly wasted her breakthrough moment on busing with Biden from the first debate, and she can’t afford to just tread water anymore. Loser, loser, looooser.

Other clear losers include DeBlasio, Kirsten Gillibrand, Inslee and Bennet, all of whom should end their 0%-polling campaigns today. Andrew Yang was also a loser after wasting his air time by reciting scripted answers that often made no sense. He had the potential of being a real factor in this race, and has completely thrown it away by taking his “expert” advisors’ advice and becoming just another nervous talking points parrot. Too bad, so sad.

I’ve seen a couple of talking heads last night and this morning list Cory Spartacus Booker as a winner, but I don’t see it. Yes, he scored some debating points on Biden that will impress some Democrat voters, but optically he is a disaster. He apparently can’t help it, but Booker always appears to be right on the verge of going into some Manson-style Helter Skelter rage whenever he speaks. Plus, he’s gotten into the habit of waving his arms around crazily, as if he’s imitating Irish Bob O’Rourke. Debating points are nice, but optics are what really matter in these televised debates, and Booker’s optics are not good.

There were a couple of candidates who did themselves some good last night, and thus can be classified as winners. They are former San Antonio Mayor/Obama HUD Secretary Julian Castro and Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard.

Castro wins on demeanor – he was the calmest and most articulate person on the stage all night long. His ideas on immigration and other topics are mostly crazy, but he offers them with a quiet dignity that really allows him to stand out among his goofy, arm-waving, shouting and whining peers. Good optics there.

Gabbard also was a winner on the optics front – which, admit it, is pretty easy for her to do – but she was also able to score some direct hits on both Harris and Biden as the debate wore on. She was also the most-searched candidate on Google in all 50 states during the debate, repeating her performance in that category from the debates held in late June.

None of that is likely to do her much good, though, as the DNC and its media toadies hate her and will almost certainly find a way to exclude her from future debates, just as they are doing with Yang. Democrat voters seem to be interested in Gabbard and want to know who she is, but when they find out that she actually makes good sense on some issues, they run away in fear of coming in touch with reality. So she might as well just give it up at this point.

Taken together, this week’s two nights of debates will end up preserving the status quo, and enable Biden to remain in the lead for another month. In the meantime, the Commie and Fauxcahontas will keep jockeying for 2nd place position, Harris will continue to flounder, Mayor Pete will continue his slow fade into 0%-Black-Support oblivion, and Booker will keep on clinging to false hopes of catching lightning-in-a-bottle.

Everyone else might as well drop out now, but you can be sure most of them won’t do that. Those vanity campaigns are hard to give up.

That is all.

A CNN-Level Collapse: Dem Debate Night 1 Ratings Fall by 25%

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

We here at the Campaign Update have laughed out loud for the last 3 years as CNN’s ratings have collapsed like a treehouse built like a Bernie Sanders acolyte. – Now, the fake news channel’s collapse has rubbed off on its cherished Democrat Party and it’s presidential debates.

Last night’s first of two debates aired solely on CNN this week plummeted from the 15.3 million viewers who tuned into the debates held in late June to just 11.5 million, according to the final ratings released this morning by the Neilsen Media Research group:

CNN’s broadcast of the Democratic debates on Tuesday night attracted 11.5 million viewers, according to final ratings compiled by Nielsen Media Research.

Some 8.7 million people tuned into CNN while the CNN Digital live stream attracted 2.8 million.

The first of two debates from Detroit was watched by approximately 4 million fewer people than the June 26 debate broadcast by NBC, MSNBC and Telemundo, which attracted 15.3 million viewers for the broadcast from Miami.

Oh, my.

Neilsen attributes some of the collapse to the tough competition the Democrat Clown Show faced from airings of “The Bachelorette” on ABC and “America’s Got Talent” on NBC. But if the Democrat field also had talent, wouldn’t concerned Americans tune into their debate and catch “The Bachelorette” on their DVR, sans commercials?

Contrast these ratings to the GOP debates during the summer of 2015, all of which drew well over 20 million viewers, even the fiasco that was moderated by the raging nitwits from CNBC. Critics will contend that that was mainly due to the presence of Donald Trump, but the proper reply to that is yeah, and he won the election, so what’s your point?

The big danger going forward here for the DNC is the stunning lack of public interest in their jalopy clown car. The DNC is already scheming to rid the field of anyone who does not toe the party line – witness what they’ve done to Andrew Yang this week – which most likely means that actually interesting and entertaining outliers like Marianne Williamson, Yang and Tulsi Gabbard won’t be on-stage for the next rounds of debates this fall.

These three interesting people are the only attractions for anyone to the political right of Fidel Castro to actually watch these debates – without them, the only people tuning in will be the same collection of lunatics, nitwits and malcontents who live their entire lives making all the noise on Twitter and Facebook.

Newsflash to the DNC: That is not a winning strategy.

But please, don’t listen to me. Carry on.

That is all.

Democrat Debates, Round 2 Feature Rigged Match-ups of Front-Runners

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

I demand to be a billionaire! um, will that work too, Rashida? – Michigan Bigot Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib told Fake, er, Jake Tapper yesterday that the economy is not growing because of the policies of President Donald Trump, but because…wait for it…THE PEOPLE DEMANDED IT. I swear I don’t make this stuff up. Here’s a link to the video:

Tlaib Flounders While Trying to Explain Why Michigan Shouldn’t Reelect Trump Given Their Economy Recovery

No, Rashida, that does not make sense. Not at all. Go away.

Hooboy. Here we go again. – The second round of Democrat “debates” take place tonight and tomorrow night in Detroit, to be televised on the Democrat activist channel CNN. So, it’ll be a great night to binge “Fixer Upper” or catch up on all those episodes of “Last Man Standing” you’ve missed or maybe watch a baseball game, which is my plan.

I’m not sure which of CNN’s on-air hacks will serve as “moderators”, but does it really matter? Whichever Democrat activist hacks it turns out to be will assuredly pose only the most painless of softball questions to the various circus clowns on stage, and none of the clowns will make any effort to actually answer the question posed anyway. It would be a far more honest endeavor if CNN just gave each of circus clowns 10 minutes or so to recite their standard talking points, because that’s what they’re all going to do.

The only real question over the next two evenings is whether any of the also-rans can recite their talking points in a manner that might allow them to have a break-out moment, like Kamala Harris had during her first debate at the expense of Creepy Uncle Joe. Harris got a big initial boost from that attack – which turned out to have been mostly false, but hey, she’s a Democrat, so that’s ok – temporarily moving her into second place in a few national polls, as Biden’s own poll ratings cratered.

But in the weeks that have followed that event, Biden has slowly regained his poll standing by largely staying out of the public spotlight (the old Hillary Clinton strategy) while Harris, a terrible campaigner, has utterly failed to capitalize on her opportunity and has fallen back into a weak fourth place.

This is where the Democrat debate process – with just a handful of debates spaced a month apart – plays into Biden’s creepy hands. Biden’s a horrible debater in general, and putting his elderly, highly-plasticized face in the national spotlight is never going to be a good thing for him. So, he is going to need weeks to recover from every one of these debate events, and the DNC process will give that to him. The fact that he’s been able to recover from his first debate fiasco is a firm testament to the laughable weakness of the rest of the Democrat field of clowns.

The field enters this week’s debates in almost the same polling positions they occupied entering the first debates, with two notable exceptions. First, The Commie has cratered over the past two weeks, as his poll numbers have fallen from around 20% to the low teens in the most recent round of polls. Fauxcahontas has now firmly assumed second place, trailing Creepy Uncle Joe by 12-14 points.

Second, Irish Bob O’Rourke, who entered the first debates polling around 4-5%, just behind Mayor Pete, has now cratered so badly that he trails Andrew Yang, one of the three actually interesting candidates in the Democrat field. Irish Bob finds himself on-stage tonight with Fauxcahontas, The Commie, Mayor Pete, the mercurial Marianne Williamson, and an assortment of 0-1%-polling irrelevancies who should have already abandoned their vanity campaigns. Tonight is basically Irish Bob’s last stand – he either finds a way to make himself relevant to the process again, or what little ongoing funding he still has will dry up like a West Texas stock tank in a drought.

As I pointed out last time, the Democrats never leave anything to chance, so both night’s panels have been rigged as battles between front-runners who have been trading polling support with each other in the hopes of improving TV ratings. Tonight’s feature match is between The Commie and Fauxcahontas, and you can bet the CNN “moderators” have been instructed to focus most of their questioning on those two.

Wednesday night’s feature match will be between Creepy Uncle Joe and Harris, obviously. No one else on tomorrow night’s stage is polling more than 3%. Aside from the feature bout, the big question will be whether or not Yang can get more than the 3 minutes of air time he got from the MSNBC goons during his first debate and potentially have a breakout moment.

Readers may remember that I predicted back in March that Yang would eventually become one of the “rising stars” of this field, but backed off of that later after Yang had had several awful TV appearances during which he did nothing but robotically recite talking points. Over the last month, though, Yang has gotten out of that noose provided by his “expert” advisors, and begun speaking more extemporaneously. Not surprisingly, we’ve seen his polling numbers begin to creep up as a result.

If he can get fair treatment from CNN’s fake “moderators” – and that’s a very big “if” since the people at the DNC are scared to death of an outsider like Yang – he could finally have the breakout moment he needs to boost his campaign on Wednesday.

Tulsi Gabbard, the only other actual interesting person in the Democrat field besides Yang and Williamson, is also on the Wednesday stage. She also was given very little opportunity to speak by the MSNBC goons, and we’ll just have to wait and see if she is given any more chance on CNN. Given that the folks at the DNC hate her as much as they hate Yang, it’s highly doubtful.

Otherwise, we just have to hope for as much air time as possible for Williamson, just because she’s so damn entertaining.

That is all.

Never, Ever Forget How Our Fake News Media Turned a Creepy Porn Lawyer Into a Star

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

The Creepy Porn Lawyer is in the news again, and boy, is it rich. – This time, Michael Avenatti, is in trouble for stealing $300,000 from – guess who? – his former client, Porn star Stormy Daniels.  I swear I don’t make this stuff up. Who could?

Before we go any further, it’s important to remember how the fake news media – mainly CNN and MSNBC, but also many others – turned this very despicable man into a national celebrity, even to the point of treating him seriously as someone who could end up being president of the United States:

Oh, yeah, good times…good times…

Now, of course, Bill Mahr and all those fake news hosts at CNN and MSNBC are looking at each other saying “who, me? Naw, I never did that, it was you!”, but video is a difficult and pretty permanent thing.

But back to the Creepy Porn Guy. This is just the latest indictment in a long string of them, a series of alleged crimes involving blackmail, tax fraud, mail fraud, theft, failure to pay child support and alimony, spousal abuse and on and on and on. This guy is like a modern-day Al Capone with a buzz cut and a $4,000 suit.

Here’s what he stands accused of in this particular indictment, per CNBC:

Prosecutors claim that Avenatti ripped off Daniels by taking payments for her book sales and paying her just half of what she was owed.

The indictment, which charges him with wire fraud and aggravated identity theft, accuses him of spending some of the money he allegedly swindled from Daniels on a lease payment for his Ferrari, travel expenses, dry cleaning and $56,000 in payroll at his law firm.

Hey, cleaning those $4,000 suits costs real money, folks, especially when they’ve been worn by a creep whose sweat is made up mainly of sulfur gas. You have to wonder how all the paralegals at his firm feel, now knowing that some of their paychecks were derived from stolen porn money.

In a Vanity Fair piece published May 21, the ego-maniacal Avenatti makes a token effort to now appear humbled, saying “I have said many, many times over the last year, this is either going to end really, really well, or really, really badly. I am most fearful of the fact that the rate of descent is greater than the rate of ascent. Some would argue at this point that I flew too close to the sun. As I sit here today, yes, absolutely, I know I did. No question. Icarus.”

“I couldn’t believe how unbelievably great everything was,” Avenatti told Vanity Fair. “Now, there are days when I can’t believe what a nightmare this is.”

Aw, poor baby. If you’re thinking about now feeling a little sorry for the Creepy Porn Guy after reading that, well, stop it!  Just stop.

Take a step back and remember how he smeared Judge Brett Kavanaugh by bringing forward a deranged “witness” who was clearly mentally disturbed, and who claimed Kavanaugh was a serial rapist during his high school days. Avenatti has yet to be indicted for anything related to that depraved, despicable chapter of his sordid life.

If convicted of all of his alleged misdeeds, the Creepy Porn Guy stands to serve up to 400 years in the federal pen. He won’t last that long, of course, but maybe when he dies they should just leave his rotting body in his cell as an example of what happens to a fake news media hero who turns out to actually be the Worst Person in the World.

That is all.

Watch Loser Stacey Abrams Self-Identify as a Viable Presidential Candidate

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Democrat Stacey Abrams, who still self-identifies herself as Georgia’s governor despite her 55,000-vote loss last November to Republican Brian Kemp, now self-identifies as a viable presidential candidate, despite not even being in the race.

Watch this clip of her interview on MSNBC from earlier today:

As a service to those of you who still like to read stuff, I spent 20 minutes of my own life compiling a verbatim transcript of this 52-second clip. I’ve also included another minute or so of dialogue from a longer version of the interview with MSNBC host Hallie Jackson, in order to give you a more, ummm, fullsome flavor of the self-absorbed also-ran’s thinking.

You gluttons for punishment can review the longer clip here. Warning: Most of the interview is all kinds of nonsense about Abrams’ current project to ensure that non-citizens of our nation are counted in next year’s census. If you’re interested in that, fine. If you aren’t, fast-forward to the 4:50 mark to focus on Ms. Abrams’ fantasy-based presidential aspirations.

Here’s the transcript:

=======================================

Hallie Jackson here. I want to ask you about another big issue. Are you prepared to shut the door on a presidential run right now?

Abrams: No, I’m not. Again, as I’ve said before, I’m watching to see what happens, I think we’ve got a robust crop of candidates and I think they’re having important conversations, but my mission is to make certain that we are keeping that attention focused all the way through the campaign. And so I’m gonna keep watching and decide if I need to jump in.

Jackson: You’ve said before that you’ll be willing to wait until September. Is that still the operative time line in your view? That’s late – you’ll miss out on talking to some people, some debates…

Abrams: Well I think the debates are an important part of the process, but the debates are new [huh?]. And while I think it’s a critical piece that can happen, I think that the, I can enter the conversation as late as the Fall and still have a real chance to…win.

Jackson: So this talk that continues – and I know you’ve spoken about it before – about being a potential vice presidential candidate, Beto O’Rourke for example is the most recent one who has floated your name, has anyone reached out to you about that?

Abrams: No one has reached out to me. And as I have said before, right now we should be focused on the presidential nominees and if I should decide to join the fray, then I look forward to being a robust competitor. After the determination has been made about who the Democratic nominee is, if I’m not that person for one reason or the other, I’m open to the conversation, but I think we need to have our conversations in sequential order, not at the same time.

=======================================

Ok, to sum up:

  • Abrams is not a candidate and is not planning to become one before at least September, by which time several debates will have already been held;
  • But she’s keeping an eye on those nasty real, actual candidates to make sure they are focused on her own priorities, which she doesn’t really identify here, but which most likely have to do with the “voter suppression” fantasy that she uses as her excuse for last year’s loss;
  • Despite the well-known fact that Joe Biden already tried to make a deal with her to be his running mate several weeks back, she is claiming that “no one has reached out to me” about that possibility yet;
  • But she’ll be interested in having that conversation once the Democrat nominee has been determined, assuming it isn’t her, and she’s not a candidate, at least not yet and maybe never but who knows? Or something.

Honestly, is there a more self-absorbed and self-deluded self-identifying leftist in the entire country?  My goodness.

That is all.

Watch John Brennan Desperately try to Set a Favorable Narrative, and Fail

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

The cornered rats are really scurrying for cover this week, and ex-CIA Director Dar Adol, er, John Brennan provided today’s best example in an interview with MSNBC’s favorite pet fake Republican, former Jeb! Bush operative Nicolle Wallace. During the course of this brief interview, Brennan admits that the CIA was indeed “coordinating closely” with the FBI in its spying operation that targeted Trump Campaign officials, and continued to push the narrative that none of this obvious spying was in fact “spying.” *sigh*

Here’s the clip:

As a service to those of you who still like to read stuff, I spent 20 minutes of my life transcribing this clip verbatim. I’ve also inserted comments contained within [ ] noting Brennan’s body language, which clearly indicates he is lying throughout this clip and is very self-conscious and frankly transparent about it. Here you go.

======================================

Nicolle Wallace: Who uses the word “spying” to describe lawful surveillance in a counterintelligence probe, other than Sean Hannity [snicker, snicker]?

Brennan: [clears throat] um,uh well William Barr, uh, clearly, and uh I think Donald Trump as well.

Wallace: Why?

Brennan: uh, well, [closed eyes, hunched shoulders] I think they’re clearly trying [smiling with corners of mouth turned down] to, uh, imply, and to really [hunched shoulders, tucked chin, wiggling in seat] you know, uh,uh, indicate that there was uh, misuse [nods head, affirming the misuse] of authorities…that was not the case [nods head again].

Does CIA ‘spy’? Yes. [nods head, affirming the spying] uh, do we spy against our foreign adversaries? Yes. [nods again] Do we spy against domestic individuals? No, we do not [nods head repeatedly during this, indicating deception]. We cuw…we worked very closely [hunched shoulders] with the FBI[he just admitted CIA coordinated with the FBI to spy on the Trump Campaign], and when the Russians were trying to interfere in that election, and to change the outcome of it in their favor, we, the CIA and FBI, worked very collaboratively so that we could have that ability to see what the Russians were doing and who they were working with.

So when William Barr said ‘spying’, it clearly indicated that there was something that was inappropriate, if not illegal [nods head]. Nobody used the term spying when they’re referring to legitimate, predicated, authorized investigative actions that were part of the FBI. [Note how he leaves out the CIA in that passage.]

Wallace: Why do you think he uses it? Is it taunting, does it signal to the intelligence community that he’s coming for you? Does it signal that he’s watched too much Sean Hannity? What does that word mean inside the intelligence community?

Brennan: Well I think he’s playing to Mr. Trump. I think throughout that testimony it was clear that what Mr. Barr was doing was try to say things and to try to characterize things [rapid eye-blinking throughout this] in a manner that was consistent with what Mr. Trump has said, but also very supportive of it. So, eh, and wh…and when he responded to Kamala Harris and others on these issues [looks down and to the left] he thought about it and they asked him, well, was there spying? Well, well yeah, there was.[!]

Well, to me that really suggests that he already is [hunches shoulders, wiggles in seat, looks down and to the left] looking at things that w..uh..[hunches shoulders, nods head] really did not happen. It was predicated, it was legal, it was authorized [oh, so it DID happen?]. So if they want to take a look at the FISA practices [shakes head throughout] look at other things? [hunches shoulders, shakes head] uh, that’s legitimate. There is a question about whether or not there’s gonna be all these competing investigations and how that’s gonna suck the air out of that whole environment [oh, like the past two years for example?] But it’s clear in my mind [looking down and to the left] that what Mr. Barr was suggesting was that the FBI [and the CIA?] was engaged in politically-motivated spying against one of the candidates.

=================================

So, over the last 10 days or so, we have seen Sally Yates, James Comey, James Baker, James Clapper and now John Brennan making very public efforts to create a favorable narrative for their behavior during 2016. This is being done in advance of the pending public release of the Horowitz Report on FISA abuse, and amid news of the advance of AG William Barr’s own investigation into the origins of the spying operation against the Trump Campaign. We’ve also seen Comey and Rod Rosenstein sniping at one another in public, and Comey and Brennan pointing fingers at each other over which of them insisted upon including the Steele Dossier in their FISA applications.

This is clearly a coordinated effort among these likely suspects, and may well indicate that a draft of the final Horowitz report began circulating about two weeks ago, sending the people named in it into a panic.

It seems to me that someone really should remind all of these skunks that they have the right to remain silent.

That is all.

The Democrat/Media Smear Machine Shifts Into Overdrive

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

It’s gonna be all-smear all the time at CNN and MSNBC. – You can always tell what the fake news media’s marching orders from the DNC are on any given day by looking at what they’re doing on Twitter. Especially in the evenings, Twitter is always the leading indicator of where the next day’s narrative will be going.

Last night, we got this little gem from @CNNPolitics:

That “federal prosector” is, of course, Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham, who has been tapped by Attorney General William Barr to lead his investigation into the origins of the massive 2016 effort mounted by the FBI to spy on and entrap members of the Trump Campaign and Trump Transition team. Durham does indeed come to the task with an “apolitical” reputation thanks to decades of major accomplishments in both Republican and Democrat administrations.

It is that reputation that CNN, MSNBC and the rest of the Democrat/Media smear machine will now go about trying to tarnish any way they possibly can. They will do this not because there is anything wrong with Mr. Durham or what he is attempting to accomplish, but because they themselves are a pack of frightened, cornered rats with nowhere else to go.

So, today’s first attack on Durham will be that he is now being used as a sword by the Bad Orange Man in the Oval Office who tarnishes everyone around him. Likely suspect James Comey, our national Teenage Drama Queen, set that narrative up in his conveniently-scheduled “townhall” on – guess where? – CNN last week, and the rest of the Democrats and media have slavishly grasped onto it and parrotted it ever since.

In this world view, everyone around the President becomes corrupted by his personal aura. Thus, William Barr is corrupt; thus, John Durham must also be corrupt. See how that works? Convenient, right? It’s like Climate Change theory, where everything that happens, regardless of what it is, can be blamed on a handy catch-all bogeyman.

While that narrative is ongoing, the next step is for the New York Times and Washington Post to assign a small army of fake reporters and research staff to dig into every aspect of Durham’s background and personal life in an effort to find something else – preferably something real, but that’s not a requirement –  with which to smear his reputation. If that effort fails, they will just fall back on publishing fake stories that rely on their standard “unidentified sources” to do the job.

This is all right there in the Democrat/media playbook, their second-most-used tactic, right behind the always-reliable “projection.”

The other big thing that happened on Twitter last night was that the hashtag #LindseyGrahamResign was trending for several hours. This little bit of social media shaming popped up after Graham introduced a bill that would actually be a great approach to helping alleviate the ongoing invasion at our Southern border by allowing the Trump Administration to hold aliens making dubious asylum claims for 100 days rather than having to just release them into the population after 20 days.

That makes all kinds of sense given that 87% of these illegals never show up for their scheduled adjudication hearings. The extra 80 days would give the system time to process them and send well over 90% of them back to their country of origin once it is determined they have no legitimate claim to asylum in the United States.

But the Democrats can’t have that, because they view these illegal immigrants as a huge future voter bloc. So, now Lindsey Graham must be shamed and smeared by the Democrat/media smear machine.

Really, this is threatening to get out of hand for the bad guys, since they already have so many other smears ongoing. They have to keep smearing President Trump; they and fake Republican Sen. Richard Burr feel the need to keep smearing Don, Jr.; they’ve been going after Barr since they figured out that he wasn’t the deep state plant they all hoped he would become; they’re mounting this budding campaign against Durham and now will go after their former 2nd-favorite Republican squish (when he was following John McCain around like a puppy on a leash) Lindsey Graham?

Man, that’s a lot of smearing to get done. Even on 24-hour cable news channels, that’s really stretching the available air time.

So, they’re going to have to crank the smear machine into overdrive. If you are planning to travel through our nation’s airports, where you will become part of CNN’s captive audience, you might want to invest in a good set of earplugs.

That is all.

Chris Wallace’s Latest Sunday Disgrace Shows Growing Leftward Shift of Fox News

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

This is Fox News. – No, really, it actually is Fox News Sunday, the flagship Sunday morning program for the supposed “balanced” news channel. Hosted by Chris Wallace, son of long-time CBS reporter Mike Wallace, this program is fast becoming a bell cow signaling a general shift in Fox’s news reporting from “fair, balanced and unafraid” to “liberal, tilted and aspiring to be CNN.”

This Sunday’s program showed Wallace at his very worst: bomastic, combative, argumentative, constantly interrupting and shrill.  Well, that was how he behaved when he interviewed Trump White House counsel Rudy Giuliani, anyway, barely allowing the former New York Mayor to get three words out before jumping in to “correct” him. Here’s the clip:

That’s not an interview, it’s disgusting hackery by a biased interviewer focused on not allowing the interviewee to get his message out. It’s like something out of the prime time CNN or MSNBC lineups, something you’d expect from Chris Matthews or Chris Cuomo.

Next up for Wallace on Fox News Sunday was Bug-eyed Adam Schiff, the pathological liar congressman from California who has been running around for two years claiming he’s seen clear proof of “Russia Collusion”, but refusing to say what that “proof” actually is. So, you’re thinking, wow, this clown’s coming on Fox News, he’s gonna get destroyed, right?

Wrong.

Watch as intrepid Fox host Chris Cuo…er…Matth…er… Wallace poses softball question after softball question, and then sits back in his chair and lets Schiff drone on and on and on without any attempt to interrupt him or correct the false record he’s creating:

I have in the past praised Wallace for his even-handedness. Frankly, I believe his conduct of third debate between Trump and the Pantsuit Princess, focusing on issues of substance rather than Trump’s personal failings as the two previous debate moderators had done, played a big role in the clinching the election for President Trump. Wallace can be a fine, real journalist when he wants to. But his conduct on Fox News Sunday recently and his commentary on other programs during the week show a decided leftward trend.

So, there you go, folks, there is today’s Fox News: biased, timid and totally afraid to do its job. Oh, the prime time line up remains a bastion of conservative advocacy – for now, anyway. But the daytime and weekend news programs are all trending liberal/left, and another year or two of that trend will leave this cable channel looking no different than its competition.

Robert Mueller, media/Democrat hero, is suddenly Robert Mueller, media/Democrat target. – What a difference a few weeks make. As long as Robert Mueller was functioning as America’s Gestapo Chief, er, “Special Counsel” and trying to execute a slow-rolling coup d’etat on President Donald Trump, he was the media/Democrat establishment’s Upright Man, a man with unassailable character, a man who was going to save the country from the BAD ORANGE MAN in the White House.

For almost two solid years, this guy was completely off-limits to reporters muck-raking for a story. For all those months while his Witch Hunt was ongoing, no “journalist” working at any mainstream fake news media outlet would have ever dreamed – not in a million years – to try to accost the Upright Man With Unassailable Character as he walked around in public.

Think about it: In all that time, from May 17, 2017 when he was appointed until March 22, 2019, when he folded up his tent and formally handed his final report to Attorney General William Barr, do you remember seeing a single reporter attempt to ask this guy a single question? Yeah, neither do I.

But now, his coup d’etat effort having failed with a real Attorney General suddenly occupying that key office, Robert Mueller finds himself fair game, even a target for the media and their Democrat masters. He found that out the hard way yesterday as he emerged from church on Easter Sunday, and found a despicable fake reporter and camera guy running up to shout questions at him as he tried to get into his car and leave. Here’s the video of that disgusting incident:

So hey, Bob, this is the thanks you get for carrying the Deep State’s water for two years. Frankly, it couldn’t happen to a more deserving guy.

Best of luck with all of that.

That is all.
