Bartiromo: No Justice from Barr and Durham

I’ve been debating all day about what, if anything, to write about this morning’s news from Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo that her sources – who have been pretty reliable – are now telling her that Attorney General William Barr and U.S. Attorney John Durham have now decided that we are too close to the election for any indictments or reports to be issued prior to Election Day. Which of course is exactly what I told you to expect to be the case on Friday.

Using this excuse to hold up the execution of justice is itself a political decision and an intervention into the election on behalf of the Biden/Harris Harris/Biden ticket, the preferred ticket of the Deep State. Let’s also point out that the one and only reason we have gotten “too close” to election day is due to the incessant delay and stalling by Barr and Durham themselves.

The incessant delays by Barr/Durham have been matched by the incessant delays by Lindsey Graham in his stewardship of the Senate Judiciary Committee and its activities since January 2019. Graham appeared on Bartiromo’s show this morning, bragging like a little banty rooster about how tough he’s gonna be on James Comey when he finally, at long last appears before the Committee to testify on Wednesday. Graham was practically wetting himself with pride as he informed Bartiromo and her viewers that he has also made a deal for Andrew McCabe to testify on October 6, and is “negotiating” with Peter Strzok to grace the committee with his presence later in October.

And…so what? After taking all this testimony, then what happens? Had Graham done all of this a year ago when he should have, he’d have been able to collate all the testimony, roll it into a formal report and make it public for voters to consume and consider well in advance of the election. But now, there is no time for any of that, and if Biden/Harris Harris/Biden win in November, it all gets washed away in any event, regardless of which party controls the Senate, which has been Graham’s grand plan all along.

The same will happen with Durham’s work in the event of a Biden victory, and if President Trump is elected to a second term, Durham and Barr will just keep finding excuses to delay and do nothing until the President becomes fed up with them both and replaces them. Given that the only new AG the senate would be willing to approve would be another Swampy guy just like Barr, that wouldn’t make any difference in the ultimate outcome.

The ultimate outcome is this: Trump is a man alone, and the Swamp can always outlast him. It’s time for all of us to give up on any notion that the Obama people who executed a coup d’ etat on American soil will ever be held accountable and to just focus on other matters.

That focus need to be on each and every one of us getting out and voting for Donald Trump, and against anyone with a D next to their name. Yes, that even includes the D running against Lindsey Graham in South Carolina, because as much of a worthless snake as Graham is, he is still light years superior to any Democrat.

The multi-tiered system of justice is too ingrained at the DOJ for any one president to cure, but what President Trump has achieved in spite of its existence and constant attacks on him and his administration has been far too sea-changing to give up now.

Even Barr has his usefulness despite his betrayal on Obamagate. His department continues to do yeoman’s work on disrupting and prosecuting human trafficking networks, arresting and prosecuting domestic terrorists and seeking out and disrupting Democrat vote fraud activities. And he’s getting all of that done with a worthless hack like Christopher Wray running the FBI. Just think of how much more he will be able to do post-election when Wray is fired and replaced with someone who is hopefully competent.

Keep your chin up and get out and vote and encourage everyone you know to do the same. If there is to be no justice from the Deep State, then we should ensure they get no peace for the next four years, and then for every four years after that until they have finally been rooted out.

We are engaged in a long, twilight struggle for the soul of this country, and it’s a fight we cannot afford to lose.

That is all.

Why the Senate Should Confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett This Week

“I clerked for Justice Scalia more than 20 years ago, and the lessons I learned still resonate. His judicial philosophy is mine, too. A judge must apply the law as written. Judges are not policymakers, and they must be resolute in setting aside any policy views they might hold…I love the United States, and I love the United States Constitution.” – Judge Amy Coney Barrett yesterday.

That 100 word statement describes in a nutshell why Democrats and their America-hating toadies in the corrupt news media hate Judge Amy Coney Barrett and will do anything they can come up with to smear and slander her. The Constitution, and a strict interpretation of its actual words, has been anathema to the Democrat Party since Woodrow Wilson was elected in 1912. It is in fact a bane on that Party’s very existence.

With Senate Democrats lining up to announce they will not only oppose her nomination, but that they will also refuse to even meet with her when she makes the traditional courtesy visits to members of the Senate Judiciary Committee and other key senators, Lindsey Graham announced on Saturday that his committee hearings on Judge Barrett’s nomination will start on October 12. If Graham is saying that publicly, then that means he has the sign-off from Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to proceed with those hearings.

My only question is, why? Why are Senate Republicans agreeing to hold committee hearings at all on a nomination whose ultimate outcome is a fait accompli? No Democrat will support Barrett’s confirmation. Joe Manchin will make noises about doing that, but he will ultimately allow Chuck Schumer to bully him one more time into marching along with the rest of the Democrat Senate fascists, because that is what Joe Manchin does.

Meanwhile, with Lisa Murkowski now coming around in the face of a primary threat from Sara Palin, only one Republican Senator, Susan Collins (of course), is even implying she might not support Barrett’s confirmation before Election Day. Mitt Romney may ultimately fink out and cast his wormy lot with the Democrats just as he did in their impeachment scam, but that won’t be enough.

Mitch McConnell has the votes to confirm Judge Barrett to the Supreme Court on Monday. That would be the logical thing to do in this case since the Court convenes for its 2020-21 session on the first Monday in October, just 8 days from now. The goal of the U.S. Senate should always be that it acts as expeditiously as possible to ensure the Court always has its full compliment of 9 justices.

But what about the vetting process? Good lord, Judge Barrett was confirmed to the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals just three years ago, and was thoroughly vetted at that time. She even received the confirmation votes of 3 Democrats – along with every Senate Republican, including Collins and Murkowski (Romney was not in the Senate in 2017) – for that high profile appointment. There is literally no valid reason at all for the Judiciary Committee to go through that process all over again.

The Democrats desperately want these hearings for the sole reason that they would then be able to create the same sort of character assassination circus that they did with Brett Kavanaugh and, to a slightly lesser extent, Neil Gorsuch, President Trump’s first two nominees. McConnell has exactly zero obligation or duty to provide the Democrats that platform.

Many Republicans argue that the creation of another confirmation hearing slander circus would be bad for the Democrats politically, and that’s probably true. But this is a woman’s life we are talking about here. Politics should not be the main consideration. Judge Barrett is a wife and mother of 7 children, children who should not be subjected to the kind of abuse and smearing the Democrats and their activists will throw at them and their mother in the lead-up to and conduct of such hearings.

Judge Barrett is an extremely well-qualified jurist who has led an exemplary American life. There are no valid arguments to make otherwise. She also has already very recently been vetted and confirmed to a seat on a U.S. Appellate Court by the U.S. Senate.

The Judiciary Committee hearing should be cancelled. Judge Barrett should be confirmed this week and seated on the Court when it convenes on the First Monday in October.

That is all.

McConnell Should Deny the Democrats Their Judiciary Committee Circus

There is a growing debate over whether or not Mitch McConnell should discard the committee process on President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee and simply take the vote to the floor of the Senate. Here’s why I support a middle ground position on that question.

Contrary to popular belief, there is no constitutional requirement for the Senate Judiciary Committee to hold hearings on any nominee by the President. This is true of all positions, whether they be political appointees to run the federal bureaucracy or judicial appointees at the district, appellate and Supreme Court levels.

Here is the text of the Constitution’s Appointments Clause in its entirety:

“… and [the President] shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law: but the Congress may by Law vest the Appointment of such inferior Officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the Courts of Law, or in the Heads of Departments.”

Not a word in there about committees or hearings. The role of the Senate is to provide its “advice and consent,” on nominations, nothing more. That advice and consent can take any form that has the approval of a majority of current senators.

The committee process is nothing more than a construct of Senate rules and tradition. Democrats made clear they don’t give a damn about those things when Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer led the effort to end the filibuster for judicial nominees, a senate rule and tradition that had stood for well over a century. Schumer and other Democrat senators have also made clear that they plan to end the filibuster entirely the next time they gain a majority in that chamber.

So, to hell with Senate rules and traditions.

The nation’s voters have chosen to give the GOP a clear Senate majority in each of the last three election cycles, expanding that majority in 2018 after the despicable display the Democrats put on in the Judiciary Committee hearings related to Brett Kavanaugh. The corrupt news media studiously ignores the fact that each and every Democrat senator who participated in the smearing of Kavanaugh during those 2018 hearings and was up for re-election in a close race that year was defeated. It was the clearest statement of disapproval the voters could send of Democrat tactics – which included the active subornation of perjury by Christine Blasey Ford and others – that held the nation hostage for a week during those hearings.

Indeed, the Democrat conduct in Supreme Court nomination hearings has become increasingly depraved and demented related to every GOP presidential appointment since 1987, when Joe Biden – then chairman of the Judiciary Committee – led the dishonest smearing of Reagan nominee Robert Bork. Emboldened by that success, Biden-led Democrats conducted their “high-tech lynching” of Clarence Thomas in 1991, again including the active subornation of perjury by Anita Hill. Things have only gone downhill from that low moment.

If he has the votes to confirm the Trump nominee, why should Mitch McConnell allow the Democrats to put the nation and the nominee through what would certainly become another Kavanaugh-like smearing conducted by the likes of Kamala Harris and Cory Booker and Dianne Feinstein?

Some will contend that the cancellation of hearings would lead the Democrats to declare the nominee to be “illegitimate.” Well, hell, they did that with Kavanaugh. Who can forget Nancy Pelosi and Jabba the Nadler promising to impeach Kavanaugh after they obtained their House majority in 2018? We should not forget that kind of thing so quickly and easily.

Besides, Pelosi and Chuck Schumer and Biden himself have already made it perfectly clear that they are going to smear the new Trump appointee as illegitimate regardless of the circumstances surrounding her confirmation. The tactic is going to be the tactic regardless of how the process is run.

With the announcements by Cory Gardner, Lamar Alexander and Rand Paul that they will support whatever confirmation process McConnell chooses to implement in the case of this nominee, it is now clear that the GOP has at least 50 votes to confirm the new justice before Election Day. Those votes, plus the tiebreaking vote by Vice President Mike Pence, are all McConnell needs to put this nominee on the Court.

So, why schedule committee hearings at all, given the short time frame and the pressing need to have a fully-constituted Supreme Court that could end up deciding the ultimate outcome of the presidential election?

Here’s why you schedule an initial hearing: To give the Democrats the chance to hoist themselves on their own petard. Democrats have all sorts of tools under Senate rules to try to delay the process. McConnell should work with Chairman Lindsey Graham to quickly schedule an initial hearing, and at the same time make it crystal clear that he will simply bring the nomination to the floor of the Senate if Democrats try to delay that process. Give them one chance to conduct themselves with the dignity that used to be expected from a U.S. senator, but give Graham the full authority to adjourn the process the moment the Democrats inevitably begin their effort to smear the nominee.

When that happens – and it would happen – McConnell should then immediately schedule a floor vote and deny the Democrats their circus.

Yes, the howls of outrage from the Democrats and their media toadies would be loud and fierce, but they are going to be loud and fierce regardless. This nomination and confirmation are an exercise in political power. For once, McConnell and his GOP caucus should exercise that power with no quarter given to their Democrat “friends.”

That is all.

Trump Should and Will Nominate a Replacement for Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Little Lindsey Graham has another problem on his hands. On October 3, 2018, Graham, in an appearance on C-Span, promised that “If an opening comes in the last year of President Trump’s term…we’ll wait to the next election” to hold hearings and confirm the nominee. Not until the next inauguration – the next election, which is November 3.

Graham, being the little compromised cock-of-the-walk that he is, then boldly told the C-Span host to “hold the tape,” which C-Span of course did. This tape is already being used by Democrats and their media toadies like Jonathan Karl as a hammer against Graham as the battle over the new opening on the U.S. Supreme Court heats up to what will certainly become civil war-threatening levels.

As Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Graham will get to preside over the coming hearing related to the nominee President Donald Trump (I still never tire of typing those three glorious words) sends over to congress. Mitch McConnell – Graham’s boss in the Senate, and the guy who stupidly gave Graham this committee chairmanship – has already promised that the nominee will be considered and confirmed by the Senate:

“In the last midterm election before Justice Scalia’s death in 2016, Americans elected a Republican Senate majority because we pledged to check and balance the last days of a lame-duck president’s second term. We kept our promise,” McConnell continued. “Since the 1880s, no Senate has confirmed an opposite-party president’s Supreme Court nominee in a presidential election year.”

McConnell added that “by contrast, Americans reelected our majority in 2016 and expanded it in 2018 because we pledged to work with President Trump and support his agenda, particularly his outstanding appointments to the federal judiciary.”

“Once again, we will keep our promise,” he said. “President Trump’s nominee will receive a vote on the floor of the United States Senate.”

[End]

Note that, for McConnell’s rationale to be 100% certain to come about, the hearings and confirmation must take place before November 3. Because, should the President lose to Joe Biden, he would then become a “lame-duck” President, thus turning McConnell’s reasoning on its head.

That reasoning not only conflicts with Graham’s C-Span comment, it also conflicts with the statement issued in an interview earlier this week – before Ginsburg passed – by RINO Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski, who said “I would not vote to confirm a Supreme Court nominee” before the November election had come and gone. “Fair is fair,” she added without any supporting evidence that her reasoning is in any way “fair” to the country.

Murkowski did not repeat that commitment in a statement she issued last night:

Image

So, obviously she is waiting to have a conversation with McConnell before going off half-cocked again.

The other most highly-suspect GOP RINO senator in this instance, Susan Collins, took the same approach as Murkowski, lauding Ginsburg in a statement but making no commitment one way or another on holding hearings and a vote before Election Day. Collins, it should be noted, is involved a close re-election campaign (Murkowski is not) and another strong performance in confirmation hearings – like she had with the Brett Kavanaugh nomination – would help her maximize GOP voter turnout.

The nominee will almost certainly be a woman, and Amy Coney Barrett seems to be the odds-on favorite. Others on the list include Joan Larsen of Michigan, who sits on the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals, Brett Grant, a 42 year-old rising star on the 11th Circuit who clerked for Justice Kavanaugh, and Allison Eid, who succeeded Justice Neil Gorsuch on the 10th Circuit Court. All are relatively young (Barrett and Larsen are 51, Eid is 55) and all have sterling records and backgrounds.

All, of course, would be mercilessly slandered and smeared by the Democrat/Media Axis of Propaganda.

For the country, Ginsburg’s death is just one more instance in which the year 2020 moves us inexorably closer to a real civil war, which the Democrats and their domestic terrorist tools in BLM and Antifa have been fomenting all summer. You should expect the rioting that magically came to a halt last Saturday after the Democrats saw their awful new polling data to start up again with renewed intensity as soon as President Trump announces his nominee.

My bet is that the Democrats will make sure that the renewed riots become so violent and destructive that the President will have no choice but to invoke the Insurrection Act prior to Election Day, which has been the Democrat plan all along.

As for Ginsburg, the nicest thing that can be said is that she was extremely tough: A 3-time cancer survivor who clung to her seat of political power for every last day she could wring out of it.

And make no mistake about it: She saw the Court and her seat on it as a political tool, nothing more. Ginsburg spent 27 long years politicizing every decision made by the Supreme Court, where she was a malevolent presence who utterly discarded the notion that the Court’s purpose was to interpret the Constitution, not to try to implement the personal feelings of the Justices themselves.

Ginsburg even managed to politicize her own death, telling an interviewer recently that “My Most Fervent Wish Is That I Not Be Replaced Until a New President Is Installed.”

Smarmy Democrats and corrupt reporters will play that up for all it’s worth. But this is hard ball politics and in that world you can, as my Daddy used to tell me, “wish in one hand and spit in the other and see which one fills up faster.”

President Trump should and will quickly nominate a replacement for Ginsburg, and the Senate should  confirm that nominee. Period.

That is all.

Two Years Late: Wray’s FBI Allows Senate Judiciary Committee to Interview Joe Pientka

Then-Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee Chuck Grassley first sought the FBI’s release to interview agent Joe Pientka way back in 2018, but worthless Director Christopher Wray had stonewalled that request for more than two years. This week, likely thanks to the intervention of Attorney General William Barr, the stone wall finally came down:

Pientka, of course, was one of two FBI agents – the other was Peter Strzok – who conducted the agency’s entrapment interview of General Mike Flynn on the orders of then-Director James Comey. Comey in turn was working on direct orders from Barack Hussein Obama His Own Self, and his vice president, Joe Biden.

What current Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham will do with Pientka’s testimony remains to be seen, of course. Graham’s motives are always suspect, especially so since he did literally nothing in this arena for 18 solid months prior to starting his hearing process in May of this year.

Graham’s action also pissed off staff for Senator Grassley, who wasn’t invited to the interview, and whose staffers were surprised by Herridge’s report and angry they were not included. From a report at the Washington Examiner:

“We weren’t aware that it was happening, and we learned about it after the fact,” the GOP aide said. “We weren’t in the room, we don’t know how long it lasted, and we don’t know what topics were covered. At the end of the day, we just want to make sure that the issues that we need clarity on were discussed in that interview. It would’ve been a lot easier if we were in the room.”

The aide added: “We know more about Pientka now than in 2018, and we probably have even more questions now about his role, given the broader understanding of what he was up to.”

[End]

Really bad form, Lindsey.

But then, when you’re trying to give the appearance of conducting a real investigation without really doing so, bad form is one of the most useful tools in your toolbox.

Graham is most likely trying to run out the clock until election day in hopes that Creepy Uncle Quid Pro China Joe Biden will win and make all of this inconvenient stuff go away. We have to remember that the fingerprints of Graham’s hero in life, John McCain, are all over Spygate and Obamagate, an inconvenient truth that Graham would rather not be the one to reveal.

So, he is slow-playing this plodding “investigation” in order to placate the voters back home, since he is up for re-election this year. But no one should expect the Senate Judiciary effort to bear any real fruit until Grassley re-assumes the chairmanship next January.

But hey, at least Graham can claim credit for finally, at long last, getting Joe Pientka on the record. It’s the very least he could do.

That is all.

Trump Brokers Middle East Peace Deal – Democrats, Media, Terrorists Hardest Hit

Trump brokers Middle East Peace Deal…. – Democrats and Palestinian Terrorists Hardest Hit.

This of course was the biggest story from Thursday. Where every U.S. president since Harry Truman has failed, Donald Trump and his much-derided son-in-law, Jared Kushner have succeeded. From a piece at the Jerusalem Post:

Israel and the UAE agreed to full normalization of relations in a phone call with US President Donald Trump on Thursday, marking the first peace treaty between Israel and an Arab country in 25 years.

Israel agreed to suspend its planned extension of sovereignty over parts of Judea and Samaria to facilitate relations with the UAE and potentially other Arab and Muslim countries.

The agreement will include establishing embassies and exchanging ambassadors, investments into the Israeli economy, trade, direct flights between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi, an investment in Israeli efforts to develop a coronavirus vaccine – as first reported in The Jerusalem Post last month – and cooperation in matters of energy and water. An important element of the deal for the UAE is the expectation that its citizens would be able to visit the Al-Aksa mosque in Jerusalem.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the deal “full, formal peace” with “one of the strongest countries in the world.”

“Together we can bring a wonderful future. It is an incomparably exciting moment,” Netanyahu said. “I have the great privilege to make the third peace treaty between Israel and an Arab country, the UAE.”

[End]

The Palestinians who lob bombs into Israel on a daily basis and the anti-Semitic Democrat Party immediately erupted in outrage over the prospect of actual peace breaking out in the Middle East thanks in large part to the tireless efforts of Kusher and constant pushing by President Trump. Democrats – along with their war-mongering buddies in the #NeverTrump crowd of fake Republicans – simply cannot stand the thought of a peaceful Middle East, whose constant turmoil over the last 70 years has proven extremely lucrative for their personal bank accounts. The corrupt terrorists who run the Palestinian government, of course, depend on the constant upkeep of hostile relations between Israel and the rest of the Arab world for their very existence.

Imagine their outrage, then, when they read this next passage from the Jerusalem Post piece:

Netanyahu said he has “reason to be very optimistic that today’s announcement with the UAE will be joined by more countries in this expanding circle of peace.”

The agreement “ushers in a new era of peace between Israel and the Arab world,” he said.

[End]

Both Bahrain and Oman immediately endorsed the agreement between Israel and the UAE, and rumors abound that both countries will soon sign onto it as well. Egypt, which already has diplomatic relations in place with Israel – as does Saudi Arabia – also expressed its pleasure with the deal.

Naturally, Joe Biden’s despicable, elder-abusing handlers shoved their guy out of the basement in an absurd effort to try to take credit:

WILMINGTON, Delaware — Joe Biden is calling the agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates “a historic step to bridge the deep divides of the Middle East.”

The former vice president and presumptive Democratic presidential nominee issued a statement on Thursday, calling the agreement that the UAE publicly recognize Israel “a welcome, brave, and badly-needed act of statesmanship” and a “critical recognition that Israel is a vibrant, integral part of the Middle East that is here to stay.”

Biden also said that West Bank annexation by Israel “would be a body blow to the cause of peace, which is why I oppose it now and would oppose it as president” if he’s elected when the U.S. votes in November. He said that as president, he’d seek to foster a two-state solution in the Middle East.

Biden also said the accord shows “the role American democracy can play” and “builds on efforts of multiple administrations,” including President Barack Obama’s. But he did not mention the Trump White House by name.

Biden said he’d spent time with UAE leaders as vice president and “I am gratified by today’s announcement.”

[End]

For the record, the Obama Administration decimated the Middle East, involving U.S. forces in no fewer than 7 separate civil wars across that region and North Africa. Obama/Biden, with the help of John McCain, Lindsey Graham, and other war-mongering RINOs, literally created and equipped ISIS in Syria, leading to the establishment of the Caliphate which ravaged vast swaths of that country and Iraq until Donald Trump ordered the U.S. military to destroy it.

Absolutely disgusting that Biden’s handlers now try to rewrite history, after viciously demonizing Kushner and attempting to undermine his efforts every step of the way for the past 3-1/2 years. These people are pretty much the lowest life form on the planet.

God bless Kushner and President Trump for never giving up on this effort.

That is all.

Monday News Roundup: Portland Rioting Spreads to Seattle and Chicago and William Barr Slams the Left

Talk about a lack of self-awareness… – Watch below as Brian Stelter proves that he is in fact the single most clueless individual working in the corrupt news media today:

Obviously, CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times, the Washington Post, CBS, ABC and NBC have all existed for the last 5 years solely to tear down Donald Trump. Yes, they have been miserable failures in that pursuit, but the effort has been ubiquitous and undeniable.

If Brian Stelter did not already exist, no one in their right mind could ever dream of making him up.

This happened on Sunday… – Lindsey Graham appeared on “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo yesterday, waving around newly declassifed documents and claiming they show “new criminality” on the part of the FBI:

In rolling out these newly-declassified documents, Graham told Bartiromo that he had been trying to obtain them from the FBI “for two years,” and he thanked Attorney General William Barr for helping him bust them loose from the FBI’s grip. Notably, he did not also thank Christopher Wray.

Just as a reminder, the Director of the FBI for the last two years has not been James Comey, but the worthless apparatchik Mr. Wray. Sen. Graham said he was going to “write a letter” to Wray demanding he identify the person within the FBI who gave the Senate Intel Committee this utterly false briefing about the veracity of the Steele Dossier. Maybe he’ll get an answer sometime in 2022.

Maybe.

You should get ready for a very, very interesting week. – Yes, every week is “interesting” these days, but I’m guessing that this particular week is going to be more interesting than most. Obviously we will see a week-long conflict between the Trump Administration and congress over the President’s weekend executive orders, as well as lawsuits being filed against those orders by communist Democrat interests before friendly Obama judges.

But I think it’s going to get much more interesting than that. Here is one reason why: Attorney General William Barr appeared last night with Mark Levin on Fox News, and made his most inflammatory remarks yet about the communist Democrats and the political left in general.

Here are some quotes from a piece at Fox News:

“They’re not interested in compromise,” Barr told host Mark Levin. “They’re not interested in [a] dialectic exchange of views. They’re interested in total victory … It’s a substitute for religion.

“They view their political opponents as evil because we stand in the way of their progressive utopia that they’re trying to reach, and that’s what gives the intensity to the partisan feelings that people feel today, because for them, this pilgrimage we’re all on is a political pilgrimage. Everything is reduced to politics for people who don’t have that perspective.”

Barr theorized that the left “really represents a Rousseauian Revolutionary Party that believes in tearing down the system, that what’s wrong about America today all has to do with the institutions we have and we have to tear them down.”

“I said during my hearing: ‘Can any of you just come out and say it’s not OK to burn down federal courthouses?’ I mean, they talk about the rule of law. They talk about the importance of the federal legal system to protection of civil rights. Well, the heart of that is our court system. And they’re not willing, not one of them piped up to say, ‘No, it’s not OK to be burning down federal courts.'”

A few Democratic lawmakers, Barr suggested, “are true believers” who are “essentially revolutionary in their outlook” and “believe in tearing down the system.

“But many of them are just cowards   and are afraid from, you know, about a challenge from the left. So for them, it’s careerism.”

[End]

These are not the comments from an Attorney General who is interested in working cooperatively with Democrats in congress and outside of it. These are the comments of an Attorney General who is now on a war footing and is ready to take it to an enemy.

Glad to see it.

Welcome to the party, Pal. – Also of note is this series of tweets from GOP Sen. Ron Johson, who chairs the Senate Homeland Security Committee. Take a look:

Hey, does it seem to you as if Sen. Johnson might have finally woken up and realized that the true enemy to the United States of America is not some external threat like China or Russia, but the communist Democrat Party right here in the U.S.? Does it seem like maybe, just maybe, Sen. Johnson is finally ready to quit referring to seditious scumbags like Richard Blumenthal as his “friend” or “colleague”?

Because it sure seems that way to me.

This week is going to be very, very interesting.

Meanwhile, in Portland, Oregon… – The revolving door continues in Portland, as even the most violent Antifa/BLM Democrat sponsored rioters are arrested and then immediately released to go back on the streets thanks a huge fund providing pro bono legal support:

Ngo continues to blame all of this on Antifa, but note the BLM clenched fist on the sign that appears in this video:

Again, it is completely wrong to draw a distinction between Antifa and BLM. Both are Marxist, Soros-funded domestic terrorist groups that are sponsored by the Democrat Party. Both will ultimately have to be dealt with very violently or this chaos will only continue to grow.

In fact, it’s already escalating again. Emboldened by the fact that the communist Democrats in Oregon refuse to deal effectively with the Portland rioters, Ngo notes that fellow terrorists in Seattle and Chicago are ramping up the violence in those cities now:

None of this is really complicated, folks. We simply must as a society identify who and what these terrorists are with clear eyes and deal with them as we have dealt with radical Islamic terrorists for the last 20 years. If we don’t, then they will win. It really is that simple.

By the way, have you noticed that you have not heard a word about any Islamic terrorist activity in the U.S. since these Antifa/BLM riots got started? Ask yourself why that would be the case. The logical answer is kind of frightening.

That is all.

Sally Yates Testimony Proves America Needs a Durham Report After All

I and others have argued for the past year against any need for a “report” from John Durham at the completion of his investigation into SpyGate/ObamaGate, whatever you wish to call it. Mr. Durham is, after all, a federal prosecutor, and the job of a prosecutor is not to write reports like those we have seen from Inspector General Michael Horowitz since 2017, but to convene grand juries, obtain indictments, file charges, have the FBI make arrests and then obtain convictions.

The argument against the need for any voluminous report from Durham is that compiling such a thing would be a waste of time that would distract Durham and his staff from focusing on the central tasks at hand. After all, wouldn’t the indictments and trial speak for themselves, educating the public about the treasonous actions taken by high Obama officials? Isn’t that how our system of justice is supposed to function? I thought so, and so did many others.

But that was before we saw Sally Q. Yates, the corrupt Obama holdover former acting Attorney General who smeared General Mike Flynn and refused to enforce President Trump’s initial travel ban before the President unceremoniously fired her during the early weeks of his administration, testified today before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Yates’s testimony was such a case study in obfuscation, distraction, blame-shifting and outright fabrication – all of which will simply be parroted by a fawning news media – that it dawned on me today that the nation will indeed require a comprehensive report from Durham simply for the purpose of setting an official record and serving as a public guide for what is to come. Because otherwise, that official record will be dictated by the professional liars in the media and the political left.

Yates, for example, expressed her sincere disappointment that the FBI did not properly vet the Steele Dossier that became pretty much the sole basis for obtaining FISA warrants to allow the DOJ/FBI cabal to spy on the Trump Campaign and transition team. She threw then-FBI Director James Comey under the bus as being mainly responsible for this travesty, even though she personally signed two of what eventually became four FISA applications that used that false Dossier. She took no personal blame at all for simply rubber stamping what she was handed without asking probing questions or conducting the slightest due diligence.

During the same hearing today, Yates also claimed to have been personally unaware that the Steele Dossier had been paid for by the DNC and the Clinton Campaign, a preposterous notion that no thinking person really believes. She also claimed to have had no idea that her deputy, Bruce Ohr, spent months under her watch facilitating contacts between Christopher Steele and various officials inside the DOJ, the FBI and Congress. An even more preposterous notion.

Yates also hilariously claimed that George Papadopoulous was in fact an agent of the Russian government, a reprehensible allegation that has been proven false repeatedly by IG Horowitz and several other investigations. She also stated her steadfast belief that General Flynn lied to FBI Agents Peter Strzok and Joe Pientka during their entrapment interview, despite the now-revealed fact that both agents told their superiors that they did not believe Flynn had lied to them shortly after that interview took place.

The great intrinsic value in these Judiciary Committee hearings that are finally being convened by Chairman Lindsey Graham a year later than they should have been is that they will expose Yates and her fellow coup plotters for the despicable liars they all truly are, and do it all while they are under oath. That’s all great, but someone in a position of authority still needs to compile an official guide that ties together all the moving parts and exposes all the myriad lies these professional prevaricators will weave into their testimonies.

This is the most complex and dangerous scandal in U.S. history, and Americans deserve to have someone in authority lay it all out for them so that they can fully comprehend how dangerously close the Cabal came to overthrowing a duly-elected government by false means. Durham is presumably investigating all of this, and will know where all of these bodies are buried.

So yes, we will need a Durham Report after all, if only to serve as a sort of in-game program type of guide that will allow the audience to follow along as the indictments and trials [hopefully] finally start to take place.

Attorney General William Barr has twice promised we would see such a report before the end of summer. The summer ends on September 22.

Time is growing short.

That is all.

Gerrold Nadler Presided Over a Chilling, Dark Train Wreck of a Hearing With William Barr

“Disgrace” is not the only word to use to describe the behavior of Chairman Gerrold Nadler and his fellow Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee yesterday during their hearing with Attorney General William Barr, but it’s the most accurate. Other appropriate words to use to describe it would be despicable, depraved, demented, deluded, and, as Mark Levin hilariously said it, the most miserable collection of “assholes” ever to exist in the U.S. congress.

Any Republican who, after watching that proceeding, continues to refer to Democrat members of congress as “colleagues” or, as Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham and all the other Senate RINOs love to say, “our friends on the other side of the aisle” needs to be defeated in their next re-election attempt. These are not your friends; they are not your colleagues, a word that demands some semblance of collegiality be present in order to be true. They are your enemies, and that is how they regard you.

Simply put, this hearing was delayed by the fact that Nadler supposedly was involved in a “car wreck” on his way to work in the morning (doubtful this is actually true), and he then presided over a massive train wreck for the rest of the day.

The U.S. system of government – the constitution, the separation of powers among three branches of the federal government, and the power sharing between the national government and the various states – is inextricably dependent upon two fundamental factors: 1) that the voters will by and large elect people of good will who love this country to become their representatives in the government; and 2) a spirit of collegiality and compromise between the major parties and factions that allow the government to get things done.

If it was not already obvious to you, then yesterday’s hearing should have shattered any doubt that Democrats have completely abandoned both of those fundamental foundations of the American Republic. After watching that spectacle of Democrat after Democrat after Democrat refusing to allow the witness to answer a question without childishly shouting “reclaiming my time” or rudely interrupting him when his answers made them look even more foolish, or even allowing the witness to take a 5 minute bathroom break after several hours of uninterrupted clown show, if you still believe that those Democrats are people of good will who love this country and have any interest in compromising their totalitarian aspirations in any way, shape or form, then you are a foolish person indeed.

John McCain, one of the most despicable RINO surrender monkeys to ever serve in the United States Congress, was fond of praising the level of “comity” that he maintained with his Democrat friends in the Senate. That was in fact McCain’s favorite word to toss out there whenever he was sucking up to Chris Matthews on MSNBC or Wolf Blitzer on CNN.

The definition of “comity” is “courtesy and considerate behavior towards others.” If McCain were alive today (has his funeral ended yet?) I would love to ask him at what point in yesterday’s hearing did he observe “comity” emitting from his “friends on the other side of the aisle?”

Yesterday was a complete abandonment by the Democrats of any further pretense of engaging in the normal functioning of the American government. It was a clear and unambiguous signal that they believe they are going to succeed in stealing the November elections and regain power, and when they do, they are going to punish anyone who has opposed them. At long last, Nancy Pelosi, one of the most evil women to ever occupy this planet, sees her end goals in sight and her minions are jumping the gun on taking her retribution.

If you are a thinking person who was shocked and disgusted by yesterday’s display, consider this: That was just one day. Under a Joe Biden presidency armed with majorities in both houses of congress and the filibuster rule having been repealed by the Democrat senate, this is what every day will look like in America. You will be under constant assault for 1,461 days. Think you will survive that? Think the country can?

These people hate you and would rather you were dead. If that is not clear to you after yesterday, then you cannot be convinced until it is too late to do anything about it.

America simply cannot be governed by these lunatics for four years and survive intact.

That is all.
