Hillary Clinton Goes After Tulsi Gabbard and Takes an Epic Beating

Today’s Campaign Update, Part III
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

ummmm…maybe the Fainting Felon should turn her slanders on a more passive target. – This is the best thing you will see today, trust me.

The Democrat/media smear machine is really afraid of Tulsi Gabbard, the representative from Hawaii who remains the only actual interesting person in the party’s presidential nominating race. As Gabbard herself pointed out in Wednesday night’s debate, the smear machine has been up and running at her for the past week:

“Not only that, but, the New York Times and CNN have also smeared veterans like myself for calling for an end to this regime change war. Just two days ago, the New York Times put out an article saying that I’m a Russian asset and an Assad apologist and all these different smears. This morning, a CNN commentator said on national television that I’m an asset of Russia. Completely despicable.”

The big concern at the smear machine is that, because Gabbard does not toe the party line on each and every issue – especially those related to international relations and military policy – she might decide to mount a third party candidacy after the Party ensures its nomination goes to one of the Marxists in the race, most likely to be Fauxcahontas.

Media smears from the two fakest news organizations on the planet not being enough to scare Tulsi off, party leaders obviously fed a script to the Coughing Crook to use during an appearance on Thursday night. There, the Grasping Grifter had this to say about Rep. Gabbard:

“I’m not making any predictions, but I think they’ve got their eye on somebody who is currently in the Democratic primary and are grooming her to be the third-party candidate,” Clinton said, speaking on a podcast with former Obama adviser David Plouffe. “She’s the favorite of the Russians.”

“They have a bunch of sites and bots and other ways of supporting her so far,” Clinton said.

Boy, did the Hacking Hag pick on the wrong target.

Obviously PO’d by Clinton’s idiotic and libelous remarks, Gabbard hit back Friday afternoon on Twitter, and boy, is it epic:

BAM! POW! OOF!

But wait, there’s more!

BOOM! KABLOOEY! YIKES!

But wait, there’s still more!!!

HOLY CRAP! SHOTS FIRED! OLD, COUGHING, HACKING, FAINTING, CORRUPT HAG DOWN!

Whew. That’s just brutal. And oh, so damn true.

Thank you, Rep. Gabbard, for being a Democrat willing to speak the truth about the single most corrupt political figure this nation has ever known.

Please, don’t stop now.

That is all.

Lawrence O’Donnell is What Happens When all Standards of Journalism are Gone

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Last week, after President Donald Trump had said that, because his three predecessors in the job failed to deal with China’s unfair trade practices, and therefore he was the “chosen one” to do so, the Democrat-toadying news media went berserk. “Trump thinks he’s the Chosen one!” they wailed, “Trump compares himself to a messiah!” the headlines roared. On and on and on it went, even though the President was very clearly using the term “chosen one” in a highly ironic and humorous manner.

But of course, when it comes to covering the President, our fake news media toadies have no sense of humor or irony. President Trump is, to these Democrat-activists-with-press-passes, the devil incarnate after all, and thus every word must be taken literally.

Then there’s Joe Biden, the Unfrozen Caveman Senator who seldom knows what town or state he happens to be in, and can’t remember the name of that guy he served with as Vice President. Biden this week related a story of military heroism he claimed to have witnessed while serving as Veep, a story in which he supposedly placed himself in harm’s way to visit a wounded warrior in a military hospital in Iraq – or was it Afghanistan? Hey, it’s just details.

The story ends with Biden heroically traveling to that hospital despite being warned of the dangers involved, and the heroic soldier refusing the medal he was offered because the fellow heroic soldier he had attempted to save had ended up dying. It’s a great story in which the only accurate part was the part about the heroic soldier.

Every other aspect of the story Biden related was completely false, as even the Washington Post managed to bring itself to admit. Simply not true, as in did not happen.

Yet our Democrat-toadying fake news media has gone to heroic lengths itself to excuse Biden’s latest despicable fabrication as just another gaffe. Why, that’s just ol’ Joe Biden, he does this stuff all the time. It’s part of who he is, and it shouldn’t be held against him.

Ok, fine. Having a sense of humor and irony is also part of who President Donald Trump is. Why, you might ask, is that invariably held against him by our fake national press corps?

The answer is simple: our fake national press corps has mounted a focused campaign of dehumanization against Donald Trump the candidate and Donald Trump the President for four solid years now. In this campaign, Trump is a monster, a non-human who the fake journalists must not ever make the mistake of characterizing in human terms.

This dehumanization campaign is also why we saw NBC and its despicable host Lawrence O’Donnell clearly intentionally slander President Trump and Trump Enterprises by claiming some loans taken out by the company had been co-signed by Russian oligarchs close to Vladimir Putin. After the Trump lawyers sent a letter promising a major lawsuit were the false report not retracted within 24 hours, O’Donnell was forced to issue a grudging semi-apology in which he hilariously claimed to have not adhered to NBC’s “rigorous” standards.  Please.

The strategy here was clear: Slander the non-human President with an outrageous, unsourced lie, and then wait a day to issue a half-hearted apology knowing that 5 times as many Americans would hear and believe the initial claim than would ever even hear about its semi-retraction. This is what happens when all former journalistic ‘standards’ have completely disappeared.

Our nation’s media establishment as it exists today is now nothing more than a political party. Wait, that’s not quite accurate: It is in fact nothing more than the propaganda arm of the national Democrat Party. The corporate media have long been heavily biased in the Democrats’ favor, but always in the past, there were still enough editors and anchors within those organizations who possessed the journalistic integrity to prevent their operations from going completely off the rails into outright slanderous/libelous behavior.

Those people are all gone now. Even at Fox News, Shep Smith is allowed to engage in the most outrageously false monologues imaginable during what is supposed to be a straight news hour each day.

Today’s news media is a daily race against the competition to see who can do the best, most outrageous job of dehumanizing and damaging a duly-elected POTUS while covering for all the bad actors who are destroying our society’s institutions. These are not news operations – they are slander factories with no standards, no editorial control, no integrity.

They are abominations to a free society, enemies of the people, plain and simple.

That is all.

Trump is a Master of the Twitter Art Form

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Which “indigenous” people would those be, Senator? – Kirsten Gillibrand, who actually is running for president in 2020 even though pretty much no one but the fawning press appears to be aware of it, agreed with a leftist activist yesterday that a border wall is “absurd” because it “cuts off so many indigenous people.”

Which “indigenous” people would those be, I wonder? It certainly wouldn’t be the tens of thousands of mostly-male, military-age “asylum seekers” from Central and South America who now form the great preponderance of those illegally crossing our border with Mexico. Nor would it be most Mexican citizens, the vast majority of whom have zero ancestral claim of being a “native” of Texas, or any other southern state, although there are Mexican citizens who appear to have legitimate claims to ancestral lands in the U.S. today.

Could the Senator have been talking about the Karankawa people, a band of rather tall early Americans who inhabited the southern Texas gulf coast when the Spaniards first arrived in the 16th century? Probably not, given that these folks are widely believed to now be extinct.

To be fair, Gillibrand might possibly have been referring to the Tohono O’odham, who claim to have “resided in what is now southern and central Arizona and northern Mexico since time immemorial.” That claim may or may not be true, because there are no real records that would prove it, but it has been formally recognized by the U.S. government, which recognizes a “nation” that straddles 62 miles of the border with Mexico in Pima County, AZ. Maybe that’s who Gillibrand was talking about.

Or maybe, just maybe, she doesn’t have the slightest clue who she’s talking about, and she was simply reciting a talking point that had been written by someone else, a politically-correct platitude designed to show sympathy with some group of people to whom she hopes to appeal with her pandering. Yeah, that’s the odds-on favorite, since that’s what Democrat politicians do for a living.

*sigh*

I was going to write about other stuff, but this just happened while I was compiling this piece:

So much truth in that little 280 character message. And so much greatness.  Never stop tweeting, Mr. President.  Please never stop.

In all seriousness, I used to cringe at many of President Trump’s tweets. Some were unseemly, beneath the office of the presidency, I’d think, because my frame of reference has always been what would my political hero, Ronald Reagan, do, and he’d never do that. I mean, for God’s sake, at least have someone proofread the damn things so nothing’s misspelled, right? I’ve never taken a poll, but I’d imagine millions of fellow conservative thinkers in this country felt the same way for the same reason.

But at some point in early 2016 I realized that, as much as some of these little messages bugged me, they absolutely drive leftists and people in the fake news media nuts. Even better, they strike like Mike Tyson blows on the tiny brains of the whole #NeverTrump contingent, as all the Bill Kristols and David French go apoplectic over every omitted comma.

The reality is that Twitter remains the President’s most effective outlet for communicating over the heads of the fake news media. And even though they are by necessity brief, most of them convey humor and a variety of distinct thought processes.

The message above is hilarious, at least if you aren’t a fake journalist, mindless progressive or #NeverTrump nitwit. But think about the thoughts it conveys.

First, there are several shots at the fake news media, and its constant attacks on the President. The press has “never been more dishonest,” “no basis in fact,” “never even call…for verification.” Think about why these particular thoughts are at the top of Mr. Trump’s mind this morning. Might it be the fact that Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas chose yesterday to call for the Court to reconsider the current construct of libel laws as they apply to public figures, specifically its 1964 ruling in New York Times v. Sullivan that made it virtually impossible for public figures to prove libel against a media outlet?

Yeah, it might be that.

Then there’s “Sadly, I kept many of them in business.” Which is unquestionably true. There are two reasons why, for example, both CNN and MSNBC have become little other than 24-hour Trump-bashing garbage receptacles: 1) because the fake journalists who work there have been given complete license to express their personal biases in every report they file, and 2) because Trump drives ratings. Before Trump came along, MSNBC was a pathetic also-ran in the nightly cable news ratings race. Now there are days when that channel actually challenges Fox News for the most viewers in certain times slots.

And finally, this magnificent tweet ends with the hilarious troll: “In six years, they all go BUST!” I could imagine heads exploding not only at the CNN and MSNBC headquarters, but in all the Democrat campaign offices as well. That seven-word sentence conveys not only the President’s knowledge that the fake media outlets rely on attacking him to drive ratings and readership, but also his confidence that the two-dozen or so Democrats who are lining up to run against him in 2020 are competing for the honor of being the next Democrat loooooooooooser.

Basically, when analyzing Trump’s tweets, we should act like we are on a visit to the Museum of Modern Art, which I love. That tweet – and so many of his others – is a work of art, if you just take a moment to analyze it and appreciate its beauty. Someone should transfer it to canvas, frame it, and hang it in a major gallery, alongside about 10,000 other of this President’s Twitter masterpieces.

Here’s to another 6 years of fun!

That is all.
