Gerrold Nadler Presided Over a Chilling, Dark Train Wreck of a Hearing With William Barr

“Disgrace” is not the only word to use to describe the behavior of Chairman Gerrold Nadler and his fellow Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee yesterday during their hearing with Attorney General William Barr, but it’s the most accurate. Other appropriate words to use to describe it would be despicable, depraved, demented, deluded, and, as Mark Levin hilariously said it, the most miserable collection of “assholes” ever to exist in the U.S. congress.

Any Republican who, after watching that proceeding, continues to refer to Democrat members of congress as “colleagues” or, as Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham and all the other Senate RINOs love to say, “our friends on the other side of the aisle” needs to be defeated in their next re-election attempt. These are not your friends; they are not your colleagues, a word that demands some semblance of collegiality be present in order to be true. They are your enemies, and that is how they regard you.

Simply put, this hearing was delayed by the fact that Nadler supposedly was involved in a “car wreck” on his way to work in the morning (doubtful this is actually true), and he then presided over a massive train wreck for the rest of the day.

The U.S. system of government – the constitution, the separation of powers among three branches of the federal government, and the power sharing between the national government and the various states – is inextricably dependent upon two fundamental factors: 1) that the voters will by and large elect people of good will who love this country to become their representatives in the government; and 2) a spirit of collegiality and compromise between the major parties and factions that allow the government to get things done.

If it was not already obvious to you, then yesterday’s hearing should have shattered any doubt that Democrats have completely abandoned both of those fundamental foundations of the American Republic. After watching that spectacle of Democrat after Democrat after Democrat refusing to allow the witness to answer a question without childishly shouting “reclaiming my time” or rudely interrupting him when his answers made them look even more foolish, or even allowing the witness to take a 5 minute bathroom break after several hours of uninterrupted clown show, if you still believe that those Democrats are people of good will who love this country and have any interest in compromising their totalitarian aspirations in any way, shape or form, then you are a foolish person indeed.

John McCain, one of the most despicable RINO surrender monkeys to ever serve in the United States Congress, was fond of praising the level of “comity” that he maintained with his Democrat friends in the Senate. That was in fact McCain’s favorite word to toss out there whenever he was sucking up to Chris Matthews on MSNBC or Wolf Blitzer on CNN.

The definition of “comity” is “courtesy and considerate behavior towards others.” If McCain were alive today (has his funeral ended yet?) I would love to ask him at what point in yesterday’s hearing did he observe “comity” emitting from his “friends on the other side of the aisle?”

Yesterday was a complete abandonment by the Democrats of any further pretense of engaging in the normal functioning of the American government. It was a clear and unambiguous signal that they believe they are going to succeed in stealing the November elections and regain power, and when they do, they are going to punish anyone who has opposed them. At long last, Nancy Pelosi, one of the most evil women to ever occupy this planet, sees her end goals in sight and her minions are jumping the gun on taking her retribution.

If you are a thinking person who was shocked and disgusted by yesterday’s display, consider this: That was just one day. Under a Joe Biden presidency armed with majorities in both houses of congress and the filibuster rule having been repealed by the Democrat senate, this is what every day will look like in America. You will be under constant assault for 1,461 days. Think you will survive that? Think the country can?

These people hate you and would rather you were dead. If that is not clear to you after yesterday, then you cannot be convinced until it is too late to do anything about it.

America simply cannot be governed by these lunatics for four years and survive intact.

That is all.

Willam Barr is Ready to do War With Gerrold Nadler and Fellow Brain-Dead House Dems

Get ready. Barr’s testimony is going to be epic. – Attorney General William Barr appears before the House Judiciary Committee for testimony today, and boy, if you think he’s going in feeling timid and cowed, do you have another think coming.

The Democrat members of the committee, chaired by Gerrold Nadler and including such rank dimwits as Eric Swalwell, Hank Johnson, Stephen Cohen, Sheila Jackson Lee and Ted Lieu, have made clear they intend to use this hearing to demonize Barr and set the pretense to hold impeachment hearings targeted at the AG. All of their bluster is designed to frighten Barr into holding fire on issuing any indictments of the coup plotters until after Election Day in November. You can be sure that pretty much every Democrat will pound on this point.

Mr. Barr is having none of it. The AG released his opening statement last night, and he is coming out with both guns blazing. Here are some excerpts for your reading enjoyment:

Ever since I made it clear that I was going to do everything I could to get to the bottom of the grave abuses involved in the bogus “Russiagate” scandal, many of the Democrats on this Committee have attempted to discredit me by conjuring up a narrative that I am simply the President’s factotum who disposes of criminal cases according to his instructions. Judging from the letter inviting me to this hearing, that appears to be your agenda today. So let me turn to that first.

As I said in my confirmation hearing, the Attorney General has a unique obligation. He holds in trust the fair and impartial administration of justice. He must ensure that there is one standard of justice that applies to everyone equally and that criminal cases are handled even-handedly, based on the law and the facts, and without regard to political or personal considerations. I can tell you that I have handled criminal matters that have come to me for decision in this way.

The President has not attempted to interfere in these decisions. On the contrary, he has told me from the start that he expects me to exercise my independent judgment to make whatever call I think is right. That is precisely what I have done.

From my experience, the President has played a role properly and traditionally played by Presidents. Like his predecessors, President Trump and his National Security Council have appropriately weighed in on law-enforcement decisions that directly implicate national security or foreign policy, because those decisions necessarily involve considerations that transcend typical prosecutorial factors. Moreover, when some noteworthy event occurs that potentially has legal ramifications – such as leaks of classified information, potential civil rights abuses by police, or illegal price fixing or gouging – the President has occasionally, and appropriately, confirmed that the Department is aware of the matter. But the handling of the matter and my decisions on criminal matters have been left to my independent judgment, based on the law and fact, without any direction or interference from the White House or anyone outside the Department.

Indeed, it is precisely because I feel complete freedom to do what I think is right that induced me serve once again as Attorney General. As you know, I served as Attorney General under President George H. W. Bush. After that, I spent many years in the corporate world. I was almost 70 years old, slipping happily into retirement as I enjoyed my grandchildren. I had nothing to prove and had no desire to return to government. I had no prior relationship with President Trump.

[End]

The AG also addresses the Democrat/media’s lies about what is taking place in Portland every night in a very direct manner:

Finally, I want to address a different breakdown in the rule of law that we have witnessed over the past two months. In the wake of George Floyd’s death, violent rioters and anarchists have hijacked legitimate protests to wreak senseless havoc and destruction on innocent victims. The current situation in Portland is a telling example. Every night for the past two months, a mob of hundreds of rioters has laid siege to the federal courthouse and other nearby federal property. The rioters arrive equipped for a fight, armed with powerful slingshots, tasers, sledgehammers, saws, knives, rifles, and explosive devices. Inside the courthouse are a relatively small number of federal law enforcement personnel charged with a defensive mission: to protect the courthouse, home to Article III federal judges, from being overrun and destroyed.

What unfolds nightly around the courthouse cannot reasonably be called a protest; it is, by any objective measure, an assault on the Government of the United States. In recent nights, rioters have barricaded the front door of the courthouse, pried plywood off the windows with crowbars, and thrown commercial-grade fireworks into the building in an apparent attempt to burn it down with federal personnel inside.

The rioters have started fires outside the building, and then systematically attacked federal law enforcement officers who attempt to put them out—for example, by pelting the officers with rocks, frozen water bottles, cans of food, and balloons filled with fecal matter. A recent video showed a mob enthusiastically beating a Deputy U.S. Marshal who was trying to protect the courthouse – a property of the United States government funded by this Congress – from further destruction. A number of federal officers have been injured, including one severely burned by a mortar-style firework and three who have suffered serious eye injuries and may be permanently blind.

Largely absent from these scenes of destruction are even superficial attempts by the rioters to connect their actions to George Floyd’s death or any legitimate call for reform. Nor could such brazen acts of lawlessness plausibly be justified by a concern that police officers in Minnesota or elsewhere defied the law.

Remarkably, the response from many in the media and local elected offices to this organized assault has been to blame the federal government. To state what should be obvious, peaceful protesters do not throw explosives into federal courthouses, tear down plywood with crowbars, or launch fecal matter at federal officers. Such acts are in fact federal crimes under statutes enacted by this Congress.

As elected officials of the federal government, every Member of this Committee –regardless of your political views or your feelings about the Trump Administration – should condemn violence against federal officers and destruction of federal property. So should state and local leaders who have a responsibility to keep their communities safe. To tacitly condone destruction and anarchy is to abandon the basic rule-of-law principles that should unite us even in a politically divisive time. At the very least, we should all be able to agree that there is no place in this country for armed mobs that seek to establish autonomous zones beyond government control, or tear down statues and monuments that law-abiding communities chose to erect, or to destroy the property and livelihoods of innocent business owners.

The most basic responsibility of government is to ensure the rule of law, so that people can live their lives safely and without fear. The Justice Department will continue working to meet that solemn responsibility.

[End]

Boom. This is a brilliant statement with which to open this hearing, and we can be sure that Mr. Barr will give as good as he takes.

That is all.

Tuesday News Roundup: Pelosi’s $10.99 Cultural Appropriation and Romney’s Bridge to Nowhere

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

So, what was this really all about?

Image

Do any of you think that every Democrat member of congress just keeps a Kente cloth garment lying around the office to pull out on special occasions? Or is it more likely that maybe last Wednesday, at a meeting during which they were planning how to milk maximum political leverage out of this carefully-choreographed George Floyd funeral tour, some enterprising staffer found this on Amazon:

Image

So, you order 50 of those, and presto! Even Gerrold Nadler can have his very own Kente cloth scarf, all for the cost of about $550.

Do you think there is a single person among that group of congressional Democrats who has the slightest understanding of the origins of the Kente cloth, or what its meaning is? Because, to very real human beings in Ghana, which served as one of the central staging points for the African slave trade centuries ago, those cloths and their patterns do have very special meaning.

They aren’t some costume for cynical politicians to wear to Halloween parties, not some modern-day version of the blackface get-up worn by the Ralph Northams and Justin Trudeaus in their younger days. Do you suppose that Nancy Pelosi or Gerrold Nadler or a single one of their Democrat colleagues gave any of that a moment of thought as they dressed up for their moment of disgraceful cultural appropriation? If you do, you’re a fool.

When asked at her press conference if she thought maybe she and her colleagues were using the garments to pander to Black voters, Pelosi just smiled and asked, “Well, is it working?” What else do you need to know?

Incidentially, Pelosi’s is a good question, one to which I really don’t think we know the answer yet. It’s a long time until November, folks.

Does he keep notebooks full of black people, too? – Then there’s pathetic RINO Mitt Romney, who spent about 30 seconds interfering in a Black Lives Matter march on Sunday to get his own photo op:

Tremendous Sincerity': Trump Mocks Mitt Romney for Joining Black ...

In a report at The Hill today, Romney, the most whitebread white guy in the entire U.S. Senate, says that he wants to be the catalyst who forces change in the GOP’s relationship with the Black community:

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) on Monday said his party has “an embarrassingly small share of African American votes” and would like to change that, one day after he marched in a protest in Washington.

Romney said he is working with several Republican colleagues on legislation to “make some changes to the way we do our policing” in an effort to crack down on aberrant officers who violate civil rights or use excessive force against people of certain races.

He noted that Democrats who unveiled a police reform bill earlier Monday did not reach out to any Republicans to discuss the legislation beforehand.

He said the lack of outreach indicates it “is designed to be a message piece.”

He said he hopes to put together what ultimately will be bipartisan legislation to reform policing that can pass the Senate.

He said any legislation “needs to have people on both sides of the aisle working together.”

[End]

Let’s just all ignore the fact that President Donald Trump has, at urging of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, already stolen much of the thunder from any congressional deal on this with his signing of prison reform legislation last year. That prison reform bill, by the way, repealed several of the provisions targeting young Black males contained in the 1994 crime bill signed by Bill Clinton – and co-sponsored by Creepy Uncle Quid Pro Farty China Joe Biden.

Yeah, let’s ignore all of that because Mitt freakin’ Romney thinks he’s going to be the guy who bridges the gap between the GOP and the African American community.

*sigh*

Dear Republicans: With a bridge like Mitt Romney, you might as well have a bridge to nowhere.

Donald Trump No GIF by Election 2016 - Find & Share on GIPHY

Democrats hate Jewish people, part 62,532. – New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and his NYPD have looked the other way as tens of thousands of protesters, rioters, looters and arsonists have turned much of New York City into Dresden circa 1945 for the past two weeks, never saying word one about social distancing or wearing masks.

But boy, let a group of maybe a dozen Hasidic Jewish kids who are at zero risk of getting or spreading the Wuhan Virus congregate together in a local park, and this is what happens:

Disgusting hypocrisy and Antisemitism on display.

The first leak in the Minneapolis dam. – A manufacturing company that employed 50 Minnesotans says it will move elsewhere after city officials refused to do anything to prevent its facility from burning to the ground week before last. Kris Wyrobek, President and owner of 7-Sigma, Inc. told the Minneapolis Star Tribune that “we are sorting through the rubble, trying to figure out how to get this operational again. We are cautiously optimistic we can do that. But we are certainly not able to do that in Minneapolis.”

From the Tribune report:

“They don’t care about my business,” said Kris Wyrobek, president and owner of 7-Sigma Inc., which has operated since 1987 at 2843 26th Av. in south Minneapolis. “They didn’t protect our people. We were all on our own.”

Wyrobek said the plant, which usually operates until 11 p.m., shut down about four hours early on the first night of the riots because he wanted to keep his workers out of harm’s way. He said a production supervisor and a maintenance worker who live in the neighborhood became alarmed when fire broke out at the $30 million Midtown Corner affordable housing apartment complex that was under construction next door.

“The fire engine was just sitting there,” Wyrobek said, “but they wouldn’t do anything.”

[End]

Wyrobek said the decision to relocate from the radical leftist Democrat-run city has already been made and that there is nothing feckless Mayor Jacob Frey could say that would change his mind. Expect hundreds of other Minneapolis business owners to turn this first leak in the dam into a raging flood in the days and weeks to come.

That is all.

DOJ Withdraws Flynn Case – Democrats, Corrupt News Media Hardest Hit

The Evening Campaign Update

You knew something big was about to happen about mid-day on Thursday when corrupt federal prosecutor Brandon Van Grack formally filed his notice of withdrawal from the Michael Flynn show trial with the judge in the case, Emmet Sullivan, along with several other cases in which he has been representing the DOJ.

An hour later, and bam!, we get notice that Attorney General William Barr has finally come through for the cause to restore American justice and filed notice with Judge Sullivan recommending that he allow General Flynn to withdraw his guilty plea and dismiss the atrocity of a case.

As reported by John Solomon:

he Justice Department on Thursday recommended a federal judge reverse the conviction of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and drop the charges, a stunning reversal in a case that became a powerful symbol of FBI misconduct in the Russia case.

The government’s motion must still be granted by U.S. Judge District Judge Emmett Sullivan.

The government said recent revelations from evidence withheld from the court for years warranted the dramatic recommendation, including that the FBI interview that Flynn was accused of lying during was not warranted by law after agents had already concluded there was no criminal conduct on his behalf.

[End]

The next obvious step is for Van Grack to be allowed to resign his job at DOJ rather than suffer the unceremonious firing he so richly deserves for having framed a man who honorably served this country for more than 30 years, broken him financially and smeared his good name for over 3 years. Hopefully, we will see that formal resignation before the day is out.

For General Flynn, this represents justice at long last, but at an enormous financial cost and emotional toll on him and his family. For his counsel, Dallas attorney Sidney Powell, it represents one of the most impressive legal victories in modern times. Essentially working on almost a pro bono basis, Powell went up against the power of the U.S. Department of Justice arrayed against her client, a judge who refused to hold the corrupt DOJ lawyers accountable for their blatant disregard for the law and established court processes, and the constant smears and slanders mounted against her and her client by the utterly corrupt national news media, and somehow came out of it all victorious.

If you, like I am, are elated at this outcome, think of how Flynn and Powell must feel right now.

If you want to feel even better, check out this reaction by Jabba the Nadler:

In his next tweet, Fat Jerry promises to call Barr in for a hearing. Hopefully, President Trump will instruct his Attorney General to give Nadler the proverbial finger.

To add a little more cheer to your day, President Trump, during a press availability with Texas Governor Greg Abbott, just said “and I wouldn’t be surprised if you see a lot of things happen over the next number of weeks. This is just one piece of a very dishonest puzzle.”

Yes, more please. Much, much more.

Today’s a great day for America. Celebrate it.

That is all.

The New Democrat/Media Hoax Arrives: Impeach…William Barr?

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Tired of all this WINNING yet? – Once again, every major U.S. stock market index closed at new record highs on Wednesday, with the Dow closing above 29,500 for the first time and the NASDAQ now up over 9700.

Tired of all this WINNING yet? Part II. – President Donald Trump will host his nemesis (one of them, anyway) at the White House today, when corrupt New York Governor Andrew Cuomo shows up for a pleading session. Cuomo will be there to humbly ask the President to prevail on the Department of Homeland Security to amend its decision last week to ban residents of New York from participating in so-called trusted traveler programs.

The reason for the DHS decision, of course, is the Governor’s own moronic decision to turn his state into a sanctuary for illegal aliens, and deny DHS personnel access to New Yorkers’ Department of Motor Vehicles data and criminal records. Which makes perfect sense – how can one be a trusted traveler, after all, if authorities cannot determine whether or not that person is actually trustworthy?

Oh, to be a fly on the wall at this meeting.

If the mob thought like this, Robert F. Kennedy would have been assassinated in 1963 instead of his brother. – Hey, trying to take out the President via impeachment was a miserable failure, so why not go after his lieutenants?  Yes, friends and neighbors, the 10-day period without an active hoax being run against the Trump presidency is over.

We all knew the Democrats and their corrupt media toadies would have to mount another hoax soon, but most thought it would be something they would run directly at President Trump. Yesterday, though, the plan came clear, and it turns out it is not directed at the President at all, but at his Attorney General, William Barr.

Yesterday’s Update talked about the resignations of the four corrupt DOJ lawyers from the case against Roger Stone, which was an obvious pre-planned, staged event designed to create the pretense for Democrats on Capitol Hill and their toadies in the fake news media to squeal that the President was using the Justice Department to protect his friends. After what we have seen the last 3 years, if President Trump is actually doing that, he sure is terrible at it, as “friend” after “friend” and associate after associate have been abused by American Gestapo Chief Robert Mueller and his pack of Clinton and Obama-supporting attack dogs.

So, it was obvious early yesterday morning that the Democrats were mounting a new hoax. What was not obvious before the events that took place throughout the day, though, who the precise target of this particular hoax would really be. It is now obvious that the ultimate target of this hoax will not be President Trump, but Attorney General William Barr.

And, as if to emphasize my point, here is Elizabeth Warren promoting the narrative:

Which makes sense when you think about it. After all, the Democrats have already tried and miserably failed to impeach and remove President Trump, causing his public approval ratings to rise significantly in the process. They may actually possess enough sense not to want to travel down that particular road again during an election year. So, hey, how about going after his Attorney General? Yeah, that’s the ticket!

The Democrat/media propaganda complex has been trying to figure out what to do about Barr since he announced the appointment of U.S. Attorney John Durham to conduct an investigation into all the efforts by the Obama FBI, DOJ and CIA to spy on the Trump campaign and transition team during 2016. Make no mistake about it, they are deathly afraid of what this investigation will ultimately produce, especially, as mentioned above, during an election year in which their Party and candidates are already obviously sucking major wind.

There isn’t much the propaganda complex can do to impeded Durham’s progress; so, being the evil little leftist hacks they all are, smearing the messenger is  the Alinsky tactic they have decided to adopt. Because of course they have.

Yesterday, the narrative became clear: William Barr, the former Bushie who all the establishment liberals went ga-ga over when he was nominated by President Trump, is now the Boogeyman. He is nothing but a puppet whose strings are being pulled by the Orange Man Bad in the White House, and he is using office to do the President’s bidding and nothing else.

Being the new Democrat/media Boogeyman, he must be removed from office, and if he won’t agree to be hounded out by the smear merchants in the Democrat congressional caucus and their media agents, then Jabba the Nadler and Pencil Neck Schiff will mount another impeachment effort, this time targeted at Barr, not the President.

Nadler, as Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, took the initial step of calling Barr to testify about the Stone dust-up and other matters yesterday, sending a letter to Barr that was of course immediately leaked to the willing hacks in the media:

Here is the full text of the letter:

The Honorable William Barr
Attorney General
U.S. Department of Justice
950 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW
Washington, DC 20530

Dear Mr. Attorney General:

We are writing to confirm your agreement to testify before the House Judiciary Committee on March 31, 2020.

In the interest of transparency, we wish to be candid about one set of concerns we plan to address at the hearing. Since President Trump took office, we have repeatedly warned you and your predecessors that the misuse of our criminal justice system for political purposes is both dangerous to our democracy and unacceptable to the House Judiciary Committee.[1] Our Republican colleagues have warned the Department of the same.[2] We have been consistent — and bipartisan — in this message for years.

In your tenure as Attorney General, you have engaged in a pattern of conduct in legal matters relating to the President that raises significant concerns for this Committee.[3] In the past week alone, you have taken steps that raise grave questions about your leadership of the Department of Justice. These include:

  • The ongoing developments following the removal of U.S. Attorney Jessie Liu, who oversaw the prosecutions of President Trump’s deputy campaign chairman Rick Gates, President Trump’s former national security advisor Michael Flynn, and President Trump’s longtime political adviser Roger Stone.[4]
  • The creation of a new “process” by which President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani can feed the Department of Justice information, through you, about the President’s political rivals.[5]
  • The decision to overrule your career prosecutors and significantly reduce the recommended sentence for Roger Stone, who has been convicted for lying under oath, at the apparent request of the President — a decision that led to all four prosecutors handling the case to withdraw from the proceedings in protest.[6]

These are not the only issues that our Committee intends to discuss with you when you appear, but they are enough to require our immediate attention.

We look forward to your testimony.

[End]

This is a really, really stupid path for Nadler and his fellow dimwits to tread. Barr will eat these people for lunch on these matters, fully digest them and eject them in a single bowel movement before the hearing ends.

  • The sentence recommended by the four corrupt lawyers prosecuting the Stone case was wildly outside of DOJ guidelines, and the AG intervened in the case before the President ever uttered a peep about it. Simple.
  • The “creation of a new “process” by which President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani can feed the Department of Justice information” is in fact not new process at all. The DOJ has long employed a “process” by which the DOJ is open to receiving relevant information from any and all citizens of the United States, and non-citizens as well. Only the abject imbeciles infesting the Democrat side of House Judiciary appear to be unaware of this.
  • Jessie Liu? Really? She was removed from her job as head of the D.C. U.S. Attorney’s office after refusing to follow up myriad criminal referrals from members of congress and DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz, as well as agreeing to help cover up wrongdoing on the Senate Intelligence Committee and its staff, and the Imran Awan case. Despite all of that, Barr still thought highly enough of her to convince the President to nominate her for a position at Treasury. That nomination was legally and properly withdrawn this week, and Nadler and his fellow Democrats are outraged. So what?Do the Democrats really want to provide Barr with a public platform to publicly litigate all of Liu’s actions while in the DC U.S. Attorney’s role? Talk about bringing in fire on your own position.

So, you might ask why Nadler decided to schedule this hearing for six full weeks from now? Most likely, he has information that Durham is on schedule to wrap up his work and either issue a report or start issuing indictments by that time. The tactic here would be to turn the hearing into an opportunity for the committee Democrats to smear Barr and Durham.

The tactical error made here is clear: Barr and Durham now know that they have six weeks during which to start releasing key information about the investigation and its findings.  They have an opportunity now to completely prepare their own stage.

Many, many Republicans in Washington are too dumb to think of taking advantage of such an opportunity. William Barr is not among them.

This new hoax is destined to fail just as all the previous hoaxes have miserably failed. But, hey, it’s all the Democrats have at this point.

Someone go pop some popcorn. This will be fun.

That is all.

Lindsey Graham Drops the “Jail” Bomb on Judge Jeanine

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Appearing with Judge Jeanine Pirro on Fox News, Senator Lindsey Graham gave us another dose of big talk Saturday. The Senator who has done a lot of talking and accomplished pretty much nothing in terms of investigating anything for an entire year as Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee was once again spouting off on investigating pretty much everybody. At one point in the clip below, you will hear him even promise Pirro’s audience that “half the people involved in the Russia investigation” will end up in jail.

Here’s the thing about this: He’s running out of time. Senate investigations take a lot of time. It can and often does take weeks or even months to get a single witness’s testimony, especially given the willingness of Obama judges on the federal courts to intervene in congressional processes these days. But Graham makes it sound as if he has a grand plan for finally, at long last taking some action in this regard now that the impeachment scam has been disposed of.

Below is a 7:23 clip of the interview, much of which is irrelevant to the subject of this piece. A transcription of several of the key passages follows the clip.

Partial transcript:

Pirro: What’s left for Mitt Romney?

Graham: Well, number one, I’m not going to say anything bad about Mitt Romney. I’ve known him for a long time and I think he made a very bad judgment call. I’m not going to question his faith. But let’s see if you and I can figure this out in about two minutes.

Who was behind it [impeachment]? Schiff, Nadler, Pelosi. Not  Mueller, not Watergate prosecutors, not Ken Starr. The 3 most partisan people in the country, who hate Trump’s guts. How did they do it? They impeached the man in 78 days. He couldn’t call a witness; he couldn’t cross-examine anybody; he couldn’t present evidence….[summary of the impeachment scam continues here] this was a bad decision for anybody to vote guilty on these facts.

Pirro: What do they do now? Do they move on?

Graham: I don’t think they can move on, because they’ve got nothing to move on to…

Pirro: Let’s switch it to you guys. Can we expect that you, or Burr as Chairman of Senate Intelligence, may want to look at the whistleblower…the Bidens…James Rich, Chair of Foreign Relations, doesn’t seem to have an appetite. He says “I’ve got other things I’m doing now and I haven’t given it any thought.” Haven’t given it any thought??? America’s been talking about this for 3 months!

Graham: So, we’re not gonna live in a world where, as a Republican, you get investigated from the day you’re sworn in; 3 years later, they’re still coming after you.

Here’s what amazes me. The Russia investigation, what happened? Half the people involved in the Russia investigation are gonna go to jail, and Trump was cleared…

Pirro: Hopefully…

Graham: Well, just hang tight. They come after Trump on Ukraine, and Biden blows up. So, every time they throw a rock at Trump, they get hit.

So, here’s what we should look at: Why did the State Department not act when they were told about the conflict of interest with Hunter Biden regarding Ukraine, right? Who is the whistleblower? Does he have contacts on Schiff’s staff? Did Col. Vindman lead information to the whistleblower? And as to the FISA warrant, how could you sign the warrant four times and not know the thing was off the rails? That’s where I come in.

Pirro: So, you’re going to do something. You want to tell us what you’re going to do?

Graham: Yeah, I’m going to give a list of witnesses to the Department of Justice that I want to call. It’s going to the case agent. I want to find out how this thing got so screwed up. Why didn’t they tell about the Russian source who said the Dossier’s not reliable? How could it be possible that it never goes up to the top?

I want to know what Obama knew about this investigation. I want to call Rosenstein, Sally Yates, Comey, McCabe, and all the people who worked on this case, to find out how it got so off the rails and make sure it never happens again. I want to know who in the White House knew about this counterintelligence investigation against the Republican nominee.

Pirro: [Immediately changes the subject to Joe Manchin’s vote to convict the President. It’s Joe freaking Manchin – who cares?]

Graham: …The reason I’m so upset about this impeachment is it puts every president after Trump at risk. You can’t even pick the phone up as president under this standard.

Pirro: [Changes the subject to Afghanistan.]

[End Transcript]

So, several things to unpack here:

  • As is always the case with Senator Graham, what we have here is a mixed bag. Graham continues to promise to perform investigations, which is great if he starts following through with some real action starting now. Not in April, not in June, not in August because by then it will be too late. Now, Senator.
  • It is encouraging that Graham pointedly lists the whistleblower – who we all know is Eric Ciaramella – Adam Schiff’s staff and Alexander Vindman as subjects he plans to pursue with his committee. Yes, Hunter and Joe Biden are important here, but they weren’t part of this coup effort in any real sense. Ciaramella, Vindman and the bad actors on Schiff’s staff – along with Schiff himself, obviously – were a part of it.
  • And how patently absurd is it that U.S. senators are still going on national TV and saying “the whistleblower” when everyone in the room and watching at home knows who the freaking whistleblower really is? This is national insanity. Ciaramella participated in a COUP D’ETAT, folks, and that is treason.
  • But look at Graham giving himself a convenient out on all of this, when he says he’s going to send a list of potential witnesses to the “case agent” for approval. That “case agent” is a guy named John Durham.
  • If Durham is really performing an actual investigation – and I believe he is – then that’s great. Let him determine whether the Senate taking public testimony will interfere with anything he’s doing. But if, as others suspect, Durham and Barr are just playing a delaying game in concert with Graham and other to put this all off until the November elections have come and gone, then not so great, right?
  • When Graham tells Pirro to “just hang tight” on people going to jail, that is an obvious reference to Durham. If you, like me, believe that Durham is actually conducting an investigation designed to prosecute people, then that might be a signal from Graham that he’s been told things are about to start happening on that front.

When you boil this all down, unless Graham really is planning to start an investigation posthaste, then it’s really hard to see why he would keep going on television to talk a good game. Coming as this appearance does this close to election time, his constituents back home are really going to have some pointed questions for him if, come September, he still hasn’t moved on any of this.

It does make sense that Graham and the other Senate committees would let the whole impeachment scam play itself out before opening their own investigations. It also makes sense that Durham would wait until those waters had calmed before moving on any indictments and prosecutions. Timing is very important in all of this.

Here’s the other thing: Durham is going after real justice for real bad actors. Scams like this fake impeachment can be mounted and play out quickly, but real justice in our system takes time. It’s like the difference between a bottle of Welch’s grape juice and a bottle of 2012 Cade Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon.

In a just world, Attorney General William Barr would announce the appointment of a Special Counsel to investigate the origins of the impeachment coup d’etat, just as he has Durham investigating the origins of the whole Russia Collusion coup effort. Lacking that, we are left with only Republican-controlled Senate committees to do the investigative work, which will certainly end with a series of criminal referrals. Ultimately, either process will require DOJ to act.

Here’s the key statement Graham made in this entire interview: “So, we’re not gonna live in a world where, as a Republican, you get investigated from the day you’re sworn in; 3 years later, they’re still coming after you.”

Unless Durham is really conducting an earnest investigation that truly will end with a bunch of these people going to jail, and unless Graham and Burr and Senate Finance Chairman Chuck Grassley really do mount major investigations into the origins of the impeachment scam through their committees, that is exactly the world we are going to be living in from now on.

It is crucial to remember that all of this takes place with the November elections looming and the GOP holding onto a tenuous Senate majority. Should the voters decide to award the corrupt Democrats a majority in the Senate, then the hopes of ever bringing any of the coup plotters to justice will end, unless they have already been indicted.

Talk is cheap, gentlemen. Time to move.

That is all.

Rubio Tweets Reveal a Distressing Level of GOP Naivete’

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

A thread on Twitter by Florida GOP Senator Marco Rubio is revealing on many levels for all of us impeachment watchers. It reveals a fairly conservative Senator who is aware of much that has been going on around him, but unaware of so much more.

The thread reveals an awareness of the deceitful nature of his Democrat opponents, but a lack of awareness of exactly how deceitful they truly are. It reveals a generally well-meaning guy who will do the right thing on this impeachment scam in the end, but who has been making his decisions based on woefully incomplete information.

In the end, Rubio’s thread provides us strong insight about the information level and thought processes by most of the Senate Republican caucus members, and why they so naively and dangerously agreed to allow the mendacious Democrats to extend the national pain of this trial all the way through next Wednesday when they could have forced a just end to it last night or today.

Below follows the text of each of Rubio’s tweets, along with my analysis of them. Watch and learn how your Republican senators are by and large trying to make the right decisions in this trial, albeit based on woefully incomplete information about the true nature of the enemy. This is all important to know, because the fact that most GOP members of congress remain so naive about the Democrats’ real nature means President Trump remains vulnerable to future Democrat scams that will inevitably arise.

Rubio Tweet #1:

Final arguments 11am Monday. Final vote Wednesday at 4pm. Last March Rep. Schiff said there was “little to be gained by putting the country through” the “wrenching experience” of a partisan impeachment. But then they decided to do it anyway.

Sen. Rubio’s statement here reveals his naive thinking about Schiff. It indicates Rubio actually believes Schiff was sincere when he made the statement Rubio quotes. It indicates that Rubio, despite having been inside the DC Swamp for all these years, still doesn’t understand that leaders in the Democrat Party never utter a sincere statement in public – all they do is parrot poll-tested talking points written for them by staff and lawyers. Honestly, how can any Republican think Adam Schiff, of all people, says anything that is actually true? It’s maddening.

Rubio Tweet #2:

The House admitted they didn’t try to enforce testimony of witnesses in court because it would tie them up in litigation for a year. But then spent weeks demanding the Senate do it now. We were never going to play this stupid game with them.

Here Sen. Rubio reveals that he has no understanding about the Democrats’ strategy in this entire play, as dictated to them by the Lawfare lawyers Nancy Pelosi spent millions of dollars on during 2019, and will spend millions more on during 2020. The Democrats’ entire strategy hinged on their belief that they could pressure four RINO senators to join them in issuing legitimate subpoenas for witnesses.

To review, the House Democrats intentionally rigged the House process to proceed without a formal impeachment vote that would have given their own subpoenas the force of law. Because they refused to hold such a formal vote, they knew their own subpoenas were nothing more than form letters requesting witness appearances.

They took this route for two reasons: 1) to deny the Republicans and President Trump any of the process rights that a legitimate impeachment action would have afforded them; and 2) to speed the process along in their zeal to get the House process finished before Christmas.

In this Tweet, Sen. Rubio reveals his lack of understanding about any of these obvious, transparent machinations by the House Dems.

Rubio Tweet #3

The same people to say “how dare Trump disagree with our intelligence professionals” are also the ones doubting the “intelligence professionals” on Soleimani planning an imminent attack.

Well, yeah, the Democrats are raging hypocrites. At least the Senate Republicans understand that much. Cool.

Rubio Tweet #4

The poll tested “stealing the election” line was also a joke. Was Trump trying to tamper with voting equipment or something? I wanted to laugh every time they said it but I think laughing was against the Senate impeachment rules

This is actually pretty funny and spot on. Plus, it shows the proper level of cynicism that every GOP Senator should have held towards Schiff, Nadler and the other House Manager circus clowns.

Rubio Tweet #5

most obnoxious argument was the “I have secret information that’s damning, but I can’t divulge it” Total crap. We have access to the same information & you don’t have squat. If you did it would be leaked. Just like the mole at NSC illegally leaking portions of Bolton’s book.

This is another good tweet, one that shows Sen. Rubio, and presumably most other Republicans, weren’t buying most of the smelly Schiff the Democrats were shoveling. It also demonstrates Rubio’s clear understanding of the mole issue that lingers inside the NSC. Very encouraging.

Rubio Tweet #6

Bottom line is despite not initially wanting to do it they were bullied into impeachment by radical far left voices they are afraid of. Then they fell in love with the case & the cameras & the adoration of the media & forgot the damage impeachment inflicts on the country.

But here, Rubio falls completely apart. Pelosi/Schiff/Nadler were not “bullied into impeachment” by anyone. They did a fine job of lying about that part of it throughout most of September, but that was all rank, smelly horse manure, shoveled purely for public consumption.

This impeachment scam was a part of the master plan the House Democrat leadership developed in concert with their Lawfare lawyers and members of the corrupt news media immediately following the 2018 election, in which they secured their illegitimate House majority. This is obvious to anyone who has really been paying attention for the last 14 months.

It was all so transparent, in fact, that Mollie Hemingway, editor at The Federalist, actually filed a report on it all within a couple of weeks after that 2018 election. Hemingway had actually overheard Nadler loudly talking about it all when the two happened to be on the same Amtrak rail car traveling from Washington to New York City.

That was in November, 2018. How can Sen. Rubio still be blissfully unaware of all of that today, all these months later?

It is this lingering naivete among Senate Republicans about the true nature of their Democrat opponents that led the “moderates” in the GOP caucus to force this five-day delay in the conclusion of the Senate trial. These people really do still think that Chuck Schumer is someone who can be trusted to deal with them in good faith.

Thus, here we are.

That is all.

The Senate Math: As Predictable As This Day Will Be Long

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

You will never see Jabba the Nadler move this fast again. – As the final question in this ridiculous DC Swamp Kabuki dance came down from Chief Justice John Roberts, no one watching doubted that the “honor” of giving the final answer would go to the Bugeyed monster, Adam Schiff. After all, Schiff had dominated the mic throughout the last two days, answering at least 80% of the questions that were directed at the House “managers.” There was no reason to think the Democrats’ last gasp would go to anyone else seated at their child’s table.

But Jabba the Nadler had other ideas, and was moving his chair back even as Justice Roberts uttered his final words. Watch this clip as Pencil Neck shouts “Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!” as the little rotund congressman from New York waddles up to the mic:

This impeachment scam has been a carnival freak show from Day 1. No reason why this “historic” moment should have been any different. Take a bow, Jabba, if you’re capable of doing so.

You seriously could never in a million years make these people up.

The Senate math to come this evening is as predictable as this day will be long. – In fact, it was very much predictable several days ago, as I laid out in Tuesday’s Campaign Update. We have known all along that, when it came down to voting on whether to allow the Democrats to prolong this farce by calling witnesses, Mitch McConnell could not rely on the votes of Mitt Romney, Susan Collins or Lisa Murkowski.

He can’t rely on Romney because Romney is a mendacious snake who only ran for the Senate to try to advance his own presidential prospects. He can’t rely on Collins because Collins is up for re-election this year in the 50/50 state of Maine, and she stupidly thinks she can curry favor with Democrats in her state by trying to thread this needle, casting a vote to call witnesses followed by a vote in favor of acquitting the President. And he can’t rely on Murkowski because Murkowski is a political coward who is afraid of getting bad press from the Anchorage newspaper.

So those three will all vote in favor of calling witnesses, and Romney is so mendacious that he might well vote in favor of removing the President from office.

McConnell’s job all along has been to find a way to keep any of the other RINOs in his caucus – and there are many – from joining those three on this witness vote. The corrupt media and their Democrat masters have done everything they can think of to pressure Cory Gardner and Lamar Alexander to become the decisive fourth Republican siding with the enemy, but both of those men signaled yesterday that they won’t do Nancy Pelosi’s bidding here.

So, this math would leave us with a 50/50 vote in the Senate, and by rule, that means the motion would fail. There is some speculation that the Chief Justice might attempt to step in and somehow cast a “tie-breaking” vote, but his role is simply to preside over the trial, and he does not have the power to cast votes like a Vice President would during a normal Senate session.

Roberts has been subjected to pressure by the Democrats and their corrupt media toadies to make a unilateral decision to force witnesses into this trial. He could theoretically do that, but doing so would create massive public outrage, and not just among the President’s supporters. Most Americans, regardless of political affiliation, are sick to death of this neverending farce.

It’s really hard to imagine Roberts going down this road, just as it was hard to imagine Sen. Alexander siding with the Democrats on witnesses. It just would be outside his character.

Assuming the motion to call witnesses is rejected, the next vote would be on a motion to acquit. Barring some last minute “bombshell” – which you can never discount given the depressingly dishonest nature of our corrupt news media – it is very predictable we will see a bipartisan majority vote in the President’s favor. Romney is the only RINO likely to vote to remove President Trump from office; meanwhile, Democrats Joe Manchin and Doug Jones are likely to vote to acquit. I think we will see at least one, and possibly two more Democrats do the same.

And then, it will all be over, at least for now. But the House Democrats will just go back to their chamber and continue their unending impeachment process against this President, because they know their lineup of circus clown candidate has no chance of defeating him in a fair election in November.

These people will never stop, until they are stopped.

That is all.

Rudy Giuliani is a National Treasure

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

America’s Mayor has the real story about Obama-era corruption in Ukraine. – Rudy Giuliani is currently the subject of an ongoing smear campaign by the Democrats and their corrupt media toadies.

This is not surprising given the fact that the former U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York has spent most of the last year investigating the rampant corrupt in Ukraine committed by Joe Biden and various other high-ranking Democrats and their ne’er-do-well children. Smearing the messenger has always been the standard response by the Democrat/media complex whenever any investigator is hovering right over the target. Just ask Attorney General William Barr as a recent example.

New York Democrat Jabba the Nadler is so concerned about Giuliani that he actually spent part of his disgraceful testimony in last week’s impeachment trial smearing the Mayor. In an appearance on Fox News with host Judge Jeanine Pirro, Giuliani was given a chance to respond. The result was epic and hilarious.

Here’s the clip, followed by a transcript:

Here’s The Transcript:

Giuliani: …[Biden took] millions of dollars out of Ukraine, totally corruptly. Biden was involved in two massive bribes. Solschefsky bribed him, he bribed Poroschenko, he disgraced the United States of America, and Nadler should be ashamed for covering up for him.

Biden also did the same thing in Iraq, where he was point man, and his brother got a piece of a $1.5 billion housing project. And he did the same thing in China when he was point man, and the kid [Hunter] got a $1.5 billion investment from China in a hedge fund for himself, [John] Kerry’s kid, and Whitey Bulger’s nephew.

Biden is so dirty that you and I would have had him indicted 6 months ago. And Nadler is doing what a hack Democrat usually does – he’s covering up for a crook. I don’t care if he [Biden] was vice president, I don’t care if he’s running for president of the United States.

I’ll say it straight out: Joe Biden is a crook, and he sold out the United States of America in Iraq, in Ukraine, in China. And if we can’t prosecute him, we don’t have justice in America.

Judge Jeanine: Ok, now there is a sound [bite] where he [Nadler] says with Ambassador Yovanovitch out of the way the first chapter of the Ukraine scheme is complete. Giuliani and his agents could now apply direct pressure to Ukraine government to spread the falsehood. And who benefitted? Who sent Mr. Giuliani in the first place? And then, you know, he does the old ‘what did the President know and when did he know it” [crosstalk]

Giuliani: He’s a big jackass. C’mon. All you gotta do is look at him and listen to him. He’s a big jackass. He’s a hack politician who repeats whatever Democratic line there is, and half the time he’s lying his head off.

The fact is, he’s covering up a massive scandal at the highest levels of the United States government and the Ukrainian government. The Vice President of the United States corrupted the President of the Ukraine…

Judge: …he seems to be getting away with it…

Giuliani: …well, because he’s got all the media on his side. They don’t wanna deal with the fact, I’ll say it one more time: Joe Biden has been a big crook for most of his career.

Every time Joe Biden was a “point man,” you know what happened? The Biden family made millions, and America got sold out.

[End]

You have to love that.

Giuliani promises to gradually release the evidence he has accumulated to back up his claims on his website starting this week. The Democrat toadies in the corrupt news media will alternatively ignore whatever the Mayor releases, or spin it as best they can, all the while continuing to smear the messenger. Because that is what our corrupt news media does.

Don’t fall for the smears and pay close attention to the facts: Because, in the history of the U.S. Justice Department, there have been few people who knew how to accumulate and present damning facts against career criminals as well as Rudy Giuliani.

That is all.
