Watch Loser Stacey Abrams Self-Identify as a Viable Presidential Candidate

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Democrat Stacey Abrams, who still self-identifies herself as Georgia’s governor despite her 55,000-vote loss last November to Republican Brian Kemp, now self-identifies as a viable presidential candidate, despite not even being in the race.

Watch this clip of her interview on MSNBC from earlier today:

As a service to those of you who still like to read stuff, I spent 20 minutes of my own life compiling a verbatim transcript of this 52-second clip. I’ve also included another minute or so of dialogue from a longer version of the interview with MSNBC host Hallie Jackson, in order to give you a more, ummm, fullsome flavor of the self-absorbed also-ran’s thinking.

You gluttons for punishment can review the longer clip here. Warning: Most of the interview is all kinds of nonsense about Abrams’ current project to ensure that non-citizens of our nation are counted in next year’s census. If you’re interested in that, fine. If you aren’t, fast-forward to the 4:50 mark to focus on Ms. Abrams’ fantasy-based presidential aspirations.

Here’s the transcript:

=======================================

Hallie Jackson here. I want to ask you about another big issue. Are you prepared to shut the door on a presidential run right now?

Abrams: No, I’m not. Again, as I’ve said before, I’m watching to see what happens, I think we’ve got a robust crop of candidates and I think they’re having important conversations, but my mission is to make certain that we are keeping that attention focused all the way through the campaign. And so I’m gonna keep watching and decide if I need to jump in.

Jackson: You’ve said before that you’ll be willing to wait until September. Is that still the operative time line in your view? That’s late – you’ll miss out on talking to some people, some debates…

Abrams: Well I think the debates are an important part of the process, but the debates are new [huh?]. And while I think it’s a critical piece that can happen, I think that the, I can enter the conversation as late as the Fall and still have a real chance to…win.

Jackson: So this talk that continues – and I know you’ve spoken about it before – about being a potential vice presidential candidate, Beto O’Rourke for example is the most recent one who has floated your name, has anyone reached out to you about that?

Abrams: No one has reached out to me. And as I have said before, right now we should be focused on the presidential nominees and if I should decide to join the fray, then I look forward to being a robust competitor. After the determination has been made about who the Democratic nominee is, if I’m not that person for one reason or the other, I’m open to the conversation, but I think we need to have our conversations in sequential order, not at the same time.

=======================================

Ok, to sum up:

  • Abrams is not a candidate and is not planning to become one before at least September, by which time several debates will have already been held;
  • But she’s keeping an eye on those nasty real, actual candidates to make sure they are focused on her own priorities, which she doesn’t really identify here, but which most likely have to do with the “voter suppression” fantasy that she uses as her excuse for last year’s loss;
  • Despite the well-known fact that Joe Biden already tried to make a deal with her to be his running mate several weeks back, she is claiming that “no one has reached out to me” about that possibility yet;
  • But she’ll be interested in having that conversation once the Democrat nominee has been determined, assuming it isn’t her, and she’s not a candidate, at least not yet and maybe never but who knows? Or something.

Honestly, is there a more self-absorbed and self-deluded self-identifying leftist in the entire country?  My goodness.

That is all.

Georgia Republicans’ Show of Spine is Giving Delta a Case of the Blues

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Tired of all this Winning yet? – President Donald Trump’s public approval rating in the Rasmussen Survey is now 50%, seven percent higher than the rating in the same poll for Barack Obama on the same date in his second term in office.  This should not be surprising, given that Obama at that time was having to defend the Obamacare bill, which would take hundreds of billions of dollars away from working Americans, while Trump is currently promoting the Trump tax cuts, which give hundreds of billions of dollars back to working Americans.  Funny how that works, huh?

Democrats in action. – ICE agents were able to round up 150 illegal aliens in the Oakland area on Tuesday, in a roundup of known lawbreakers.  An ICE spokesman estimated that about 850 more known criminals were able to evade the roundup, blaming at least some of those escapes on Oakland’s nitwit Mayor, Libby Schaff, who issued a warning to the criminals to head for the hills on Monday.  This intentional effort to ensure that known criminals remain at large among her city’s population is what leftwingers like Schaff refer to as “protecting the people.”

More Democrats in action. – Bizarre Barbra Streisand told Variety that she had her dog cloned.  Hey, as long as nobody clones Barb, I got no problem with that.

Still more Democrats in action. – U.S. Olympic skier Gus Kenworthy was horrified by the Korean tradition of eating dogs, saying that “Dogs are friends, not food.”  So the skier admirably decided to engage in a little symbolism of his feelings, adopting a puppy from one of the country’s thousands of food dog kennels.  Amerian social justice warriors, upon learning of Kenworthy’s compassionate rescue of the little puppy, reacted very predictably:  They screamed that he is engaging in “cultural colonialism” and hammered him on social media.  Because this is what SJWs do.

He’s been a real bug-eyed bonanza for CNN and MSNBC. – The Daily Caller reports that California Congressman Adam Schiff, the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, has now given a phenomenal 227 TV interviews since President Trump took office less than 14 months ago.  According to information compiled by the Republican National Committee, this means that Schiff has been on television more than 26 hours since last January 20.  For all you Millenials out there, that is twice as long as a full season of Game of Thrones.

Speaking of Mr. Schiff, it appears he may be delegating his long-time role as official leaker for the Democrats on the House Intel Committee.  When White House Communications Director Hope Hicks refused to answer certain questions related to the presidential transition process – which the Administration considers to be privileged – in testimony before the committee in closed session on Tuesday, that fact was leaked to the media before her testimony was over by Illinois Democrat Mike Quigley.  So perhaps Schiff has decided to share his leaky wealth.

Delta Airlines has gotten itself into a real pickle down in Georgia.  After Delta engaged in a round of corporate virtue signaling late last week, cancelling a long-time discount ticket arrangement for members of the NRA, the Georgia Senate took up a bill that would retaliate by cancelling property tax exemptions Delta enjoys at its Corporate headquarters in the state.  Delta officials spent all day Tuesday scrambling for a way to retain both their virtue signaling posture and their tax breaks, but thus far the state’s Republican officials are holding firm.

This action by the Republicans in the state is something that would have never taken place in the past.  Up until this time, timid Republicans just sat by and took insults like Delta’s action against the NRA meekly, hoping that, by remaining quiet and hunkered down under their desks, they could avoid any negative attention from the hostile fake news media.  But this is the age of Trump, and Republicans are finally learning from the President that they can win with the public by taking bold, principled stands.  It’s really sad that it has taken until the year 2018 for a very unconventional President to teach Republicans that taking bold action to support your friends is actually smart politics, but hey, better late than never.

For its own part, the NRA issued a statement in which it said that actions such as that taken by Delta are a “shameful display of civic and political cowardice.”  Kind of like the actions of the Broward County Sheriff’s department during the Parkland school shootings.  Couldn’t have said it better myself.

Just another day in singin’ the Delta blues America.

That is all.

All This Winning Never, Never, Ever Gets Old

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Tired of winning yet?:  There were lots of long faces at CNN last night.  They and the rest of the fake national news media spent the last two months telling all of us that the Georgia House District 6 race, in which their fake polls showed Democrat Pajama Boy leading Republican Karen Handel, would become “a referendum on President Donald Trump”, who won the traditionally Republican district by just 2% of the vote last November.  Ms. Handel, of course, won last night’s election easily, as all the polls that just a week ago predicted an easy win for Pajama Boy were proved wrong yet again.  The final vote count shows that Ms. Handel in fact won by a healthy 4% margin despite having been outspent by 4 to 1, so if this election was a referendum on the President’s performance in office thus far, the referendum’s verdict is that he’s doing pretty well.  Don’t expect the fake reporters and talking heads in the fake news media to concede that obvious reality.
  • Instead, expect them to pretend that Handel “ran away from Trump and his agenda”, even though she spent most of her campaign boasting about her plans to repeal and replace Obamacare and cut taxes.  We will no doubt also see them all in unison start saying that the upcoming Virginia governor’s race is the “real” referendum on Trump, even though 3 of the last 4 governors in that state have been Democrats.  And finally, expect them all to drop the subject in unison late this morning, and shift the focus back to the Democrats’ Russia collusion and obstruction fantasy plays, because that’s what losers do when they lose, and America has no bigger class of losers today than the Democrat Party and the fake national news media.
  • We have now had five special elections to replace GOP members of congress who were tapped to serve in the Trump Administration over the last few months, and the Democrats, despite pouring gigantic amounts of George Soros and Hollywood money into four of them (they pretty much ignored last night’s election in South Carolina), and despite the best efforts of their agents in the fake news media to dummy up fake polls and actively campaign for the Democrat candidates in each race, now stand with 0 wins and 5 losses.
  • But hey, they do have 4 “moral victories”, in which they came fairly, kinda sorta close to winning.  As I posted on Facebook last night, if the Democrats can just raise 87 billion dollars from Soros and their crowd of low IQ Hollywood dupes for the 2018 mid-terms, they will finish with 76 moral victories and 0 actual wins.  In focusing on moral victories as a justification to keep doing what they’ve been doing over and over and over again, the Democrats have become the political version of the Cleveland Browns.
  • Any political party made up of thoughtful, fairly honest people would take this moment to engage in a little serious introspection to try to genuinely figure out what it is doing wrong, and devise a plan to change directions in an effort to start actually winning elections somewhere, anywhere, again.  But the Democrat Party today is dominated pretty much entirely of nasty, dishonest, thoughtless thugs who are utterly incapable of engaging in the sort of serious self-analysis and change that would be required to put it back onto a winning path.  So we should expect them and their press agents in the fake news media to simply double down on what they call “The Resistance”, continue to simply oppose everything the Republicans try to do for the sake of opposing, and continue to encourage rioting in the streets and violence against their political opposition.
  • Sadly, the leadership of the Democrat Party today appears to be far more interested in starting a civil war – seriously – than in finding a way to start winning elections again.   Their complete lack of anything resembling contrition and responsibility-assumption following last week’s shooting of the House Majority Whip and four others by a lunatic Bernie Sanders campaign worker is just the latest in a long line of indicators of this new reality.  Considering that they continue as a group to allow their tactics to be funded and dominated by an evil old Hungarian Nazi, this really should not come as a surprise to anyone.
  • Today is a day for Republicans to celebrate a real victory, yet again.  That never gets old.  But this day, and every day, is also a day for vigilance, so long as the Democrats continue to do literally nothing to curb the worst impulses in their increasingly unhinged voter base.

Just another day in Winning Never Gets Old America.

That is all.

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) – 4.18.2017

  • The Obama legacy in action.:  Multiple videos have emerged on social websites that show Berkeley cops standing around doing nothing as violent clashes broke out over the weekend between Trump supporters and radical leftwing agitators on the Cal Berkeley campus.  In one, a policeman who is asked why he and his partner aren’t doing anything answers that he was told by his boss to stand down.  Makes sense.  After all, why would Democrats want to interfere with a riot funded by the same people who funded their last election campaign?
  • Nate Silver will give him a 95% chance of winning after he loses.:  So, there’s a special election in Georgia today to see who will fill the seat congressional seat vacated by Health and Human Resources Secretary Tom Price.  Democrats are all excited because the single D in the race has seen support as high as 40% in the public opinion polls taken in the race.  Meanwhile, the other 60% is being split between the dozen GOP candidates in what has been a traditionally Republican district.  Naturally, the fake news media is pretending that the Democrat is going to “win”.  He isn’t.  He’s going to get about 40% of the vote – probably less, if the normal bias in the polls materializes here – and then have to face the highest Republican vote-getter in a runoff election in June, an election the Republican candidate will easily win.  The news frenzy you’ve seen surrounding this race is #fakenews, defined.
  • Polls show nobody cares.  CNN suddenly doesn’t care about polls.:  While the North Korea situation was coming to a boiling point, a key special election was taking place in Georgia, and with all manner of other huge issues facing the country and the world, the fake journalists at CNN spent the entire day wondering why President Trump doesn’t release his tax returns.  Nobody cares about this issue, which helps to explain why nobody watches CNN anymore.
  • The Crazy Little Fat Prince of Futile Gestures.:  The crazy little fat guy who runs North Korea promised to hold a “weekly missile launch” in defiance of President Trump and the United States.  The United States was mum on whether it would hold a “weekly missile cyber-crash” in response.
  • They would have identified Charles Manson as a “charsimatic leader and a philosopher.”:  The fake editors at the NY Times opened their fake newspaper’s fake editorial page up to a real radical Islamic terrorist, Marwan Barghouti.  Barghouti is serving five consecutive life sentences in Israeli prison for mass murder.  The editors of the fake newspaper of record chose to identify him only as “a Palestinian leader and a parliamentarian.”  #Fakenews, defined.
  • Racists and feminists everywhere are confused.:  The web-based publication Everyday Feminism published a piece by someone named Emily Zak, who contends that going to national parks is a ‘racist’ activity, and that everyone should cut it out.  I swear I don’t make this stuff up.  Here’s the link:  Outdoor Recreation Isn’t Free – Why We Need to Stop Pretending It Is.
  • It’s always uncomfortable when progressives are caught expressing their true feelings.:  A meeting of Maine Democrats was caught on video cheering and laughing when their speaker mentions the fact that suicide among white men in America is on the rise in recent years.  I swear I don’t make this stuff up.  Here’s the link:  Are You A White Man?  Is It Funny When You Die?

Just another day in fake news media America.

That is all.
