Trump Moves to Florida, Where Taxes are Low and the Governor’s Approval is Sky-High

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

This is what happens when you have a city run by Marxists. – The President of the United States of America just thumbed his nose at his life-long home state, announcing on Twitter yesterday that he and his family are officially changing their residence to Palm Beach, Florida:

As if to prove the President’s point about having been “treated very badly by the political leaders of both the city and state,” New York’s thug Governor Andrew “Sonny” Cuomo responded by saying, “Good riddance. It’s not like Mr. Trump paid taxes here anyway. He’s all yours, Florida.”

All of which is, of course, abject, smelly horse manure. Trump and his family have paid hundreds of millions of dollars in taxes to New York City and State over the decades under their confiscatory income tax laws, and the economic activity created by his business ventures there have generated billions for the city and state coffers. But, whatever – Cuomo’s a Democrat and, as we saw on the floor of the House yesterday and every other day all over the news media, Democrat politicians lie as surely and as frequently as they draw breath.

In any event, the President’s change of residency is emblematic of the general flight of the wealthy away from New York and its increasingly confiscatory tax regimes that feature top rates of 9% for the state income tax and 4% for the City income tax, along with high rates of property and sales taxes. Contrast that to Florida, where residents pay zero income tax and lower rates of both sales and property taxes. If you have wondered why vast swaths of Florida feature retirement communities occupied mainly by ex-New Yorkers, here’s a clue: It isn’t just about the difference weather.

The Trump address change announcement comes at a very interesting moment from a political standpoint, since we also found out yesterday that GOP Governor Ron DeSantis, a strong supporter of President Trump, is amazingly popular with the people:

Remember: DeSantis prevailed in his 2018 election bid by just 33,000 votes, according to the official count. Of course, we must remember that the Democrat election officials in highly-populated Broward and Palm Beach counties were in full voter fraud mode in that one, so a legal vote count would no doubt have shown a significantly larger victory for DeSantis.

But a 72% public approval rate, with only 17% disapproving? Not even the Florida Democrat vote-stealing machine can steal that many votes. An approval rating like that means that DeSantis is doing a hell of a job in his office, and that is very, very bad news for the Democrat chances to take the presidency away from Trump in 2020.

The Democrat Party has already basically lost the big state of Ohio for the foreseeable future, thanks in large part to its opposition to oil and gas production – which has become a huge part of that state’s economy in the past decade – and the Trump-led renaissance of manufacturing activity there. With Ohio out of the picture, there is no viable scenario under which the 2020 Democrat nominee – regardless of which buffoon or Marxist the Party nominates – can hope to get to 270 electoral votes without winning Florida.

There is no more important asset to a presidential campaign in a key state than having the help of a popular governor, and there is no more popular governor in America right now than Ron DeSantis. It probably wasn’t a major motivating factor behind the Trump decision to change official residency, but that move, combined with DeSantis’s popularity may make Florida too steep a hill for even the Democrat vote fraud machine to climb in 2020.

Cool.

That is all.

The Week in Revew: Democrats/Media Shift Focus Away From Robert Mueller

The Campaign Update Week in Review

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

This was the week that the media/Democrat narrative mysteriously shifted away from Robert Mueller. After a couple of weeks of renewed, post-election focus on Mueller and his fake “investigation”, the media/Democrat axis of propaganda suddenly shifted to climate change, and then back to the border issue, and the 5,000-plus “migrants” from Central America overwhelming the infrastructure and public patience in Tijuana, Mexico.

This is very odd, since the Climate Scam is where the American Left always goes whenever it has run out of anything else to say. “Climate Change” is always their issue of last resort because of its nature as an ever-evolving set of theories that conveniently allow the scammer to blame literally anything that happens in our daily lives on “Climate Change”.

All those people fighting over cheap TVs at your local Wal-Mart on Black Friday? Climate Change. Riots happening in Paris, France? That’s not caused by tax protesters, it’s caused by Climate Change. Record, bitter cold across the midwest and northeast? Climate Change – never been cold up there before. Your car wouldn’t start yesterday morning? Climate Change. Brian Stelter’s disappearing hairline? Climate Change.

It’s all Climate Change all the time, and that’s why the Axis of Propaganda invariably ends up focusing on it for at least one week every year because all of their other fake narratives have come up a crapper.  Thus, this week, a week when it became increasingly obvious that Robert Mueller has a huge bag of nothing where President Trump is concerned and is continuing to systematically wrap up his 19-month witch hunt, the media and their Democrat masters fell back on their old, reliable fright tactic.

The fake news media has also been forced to report on migrant invasion happening at our Southern border after a couple of weeks of attempting to ignore a story that is hugely damaging to Democrat interests. With even the media now admitting that more than 75% of these giant “caravans” consist of military-aged males, many of whom are known violent gang members, and with President Donald Trump tweeting and talking about it each and every day, the post-election effort to simply ignore it became impossible to maintain.

There are reports this morning that several hundred of the migrant army in Tijuana will attempt to storm the border crossing there later today, so CNN will gladly report on that, hoping to get films of violence that are that fake news network’s stock in trade. Of course, CNN will only air any such video if it can spin the shots negatively against U.S. Border Patrol and military personnel who will be there to turn back the invasion.

Which is what this is.  An invasion.

Let’s go to the rest of this Week in Review:

  • It was the week that all the focus on Climate Change and the migrant invasion took preening CNN peacock Jim Acosta right out of the news cycle, and that was a glorious result. America needs more of this.
  • It was the week that Oklahoma beat West Virginia by a score of 59-56 in a college football game in which neither team’s defense apparently ever took the field of play.
  • It was the week that yet another Obama-appointed federal judge ruled that President Trump, as opposed to all other presidents in U.S. history, lacks the authority clearly given to him in the text of the U.S. Constitution.
  • It was the week that the Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, the man who twisted himself into legalistic knots in order to impose Obamacare on our populace, lied to the American public by claiming there is no difference between an “Obama judge” and the judges appointed by other presidents.  Shame, Justice Roberts, shame on you.
  • It was the week when the White House Correspondents Association ended the tradition of having a bad comedian speak at its annual Dinner, giving yet another win to Donald J. Trump.
  • It was the week that our fake news media invested tons of its air and print time once again trying to convince the American people to care about the killing of a radical Islamist blogger who used to go to dinner parties hosted by editors at the Washington Post. The effort failed. Again.
  • It was the week that President Trump correctly chose to refuse to destroy our country’s key strategic relationship with Saudi Arabia over the killing of a radical Islamist blogger who the Saudi government considered to be an enemy of the state.
  • It was the week that Broward County’s Supervisor of Elections, Brenda Snipes, having tried and failed to steal the state’s senate election for Democrat Bill Nelson and the governor’s election for Democrat Andrew Gillum, tendered her resignation in disgrace. Now, if there is still any justice left in Florida, she will be prosecuted.
  • It was the week that Democrats expressed their outrage at all the subsidies and tax breaks given by the states of New York and Virginia to secure the new Amazon regional headquarters sites, while in their next breath confirming their support for subsidies and tax breaks for solar and wind power and billionaire Elon Musk.  *sigh*
  • It was the week that British Prime Minister Theresa May took her “Brexit” deal to European Union headquarters, a deal that will essentially keep Britain under the EU’s despotic thumb. To no one’s surprise, the EU approved. Sellout is Theresa May’s middle name.
  • It was the week that French Prime Minister Emmanuel Macron, barely a week removed from denouncing Donald Trump and populism at a summit conference in Paris, saw riots break out on the streets of Paris and his personal approval rating fall to below 20%.
  • Meanwhile, in America, it was the week that President Trump saw his approval rating in the daily Rasmussen survey tick up to 51% and stay there.

There’s a message in there somewhere – wonder if the Boy Prince of Paris can see it through all the smoke rising along the Champs Elysee’?

That is all.

Swalwell 2020: Nuking Gun Owners For Peace

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Hey, who is Marianne Williamson? –  I honestly have no idea who this person is, but the newsfakers at Politico think it is news that a person named Marianne Williamson is running for the Democrat Party’s presidential nomination in 2020.  According to Politico, she is a “spiritualist” – whatever that means – who ran an independent campaign for a California congressional seat in 2014, and failed. That race was won by Ted Lieu, one of the most despicable Democrats in today’s congress, so maybe we should be wishing she had won instead. She certainly could not be any worse.

Williamson’s main claim to legitimacy in the political arena appears to be that she is a “pal of Oprah Winfrey.”  Given that the two high-profile Democrat candidates Oprah campaigned for this year – Florida’s Andrew Gillum and Georgia’s Stacey Abrams – have been declared loooooooooosers in their gubernatorial races over the last 24 hours, it’s hard to see what value the Oprah seal of approval really has any more.

But hey, in case you’re interested and have actually heard of Marianne Williamson, she’s running. There you go.

Speaking of despicable California congressmen, Eric Swalwell did this on Friday:

Yes, all you gun owners out there, Democrat Rep. Swalwell responded to a guy on Twitter who said that the government would have to kill him to take his guns away by assuring the guy that the government would indeed kill him, with nukes. This promise to nuke gun owners will no doubt play extremely well with the demented Democrat base voters and dramatically enhance Swalwell’s chances in his 2020 presidential run.

Can’t wait to get me one of them “Swalwell 2020:  Nuke ’em for Peace!” bumper stickers.

Holy crap. You seriously cannot make this stuff up.

And since we’re speaking of despicable Democrat politicians… – The aforementioned Oprah acolyte Stacey Abrams “halted” her Georgia gubernatorial run on Friday, but made it clear she would never “concede” the race to the actual winner, Republican Brian Kemp.

In keeping with the Democrat Party’s 25-year campaign to declare every Republican win to be somehow illegitimate, Abrams blamed her loss not on the fact that she received more than 50,000 fewer votes than her opponent, but on “voter suppression”, which is her way of saying all Republicans are racists and she only lost because of their racism, or something. Because of course she did.

No, Texas is not turning blue anytime soon. – We’ve seen a lot of elections “experts”, i.e., liberals in the fake news media, offering sage analyses of the Texas election results and coming up with the conclusion that the state of Texas is going to turn blue as soon as 2020.

Let me assure you, as a 7th generation Texan, that ain’t gonna happen.

Yes, the Democrat Party made gains in Texas in the 2018 elections. The Dems flipped two congressional seats, 2 state senate seats and a dozen seats in the state’s house of representatives. It’s a BLUE WAAAAAAAVE, right?  Um, no, not really.

What those results mean is that the Texas congressional delegation is now 23 Rs and 13 Ds. The Rs will hold a 19-12 edge in the state senate, and 83 of the 150 seats in the state house.

Oh, and here’s the other thing all these “experts” fail to mention:  The Republicans won every statewide election held this year. Every one of them, from the governor’s office all the way down to the land office race. Yes, the winning margins were closer than they have been in the past 5 election cycles, but let’s think about why that happened.

I can explain the majority of it in two words:  Beto O’Rourke. His race against Ted Cruz was the first race on everyone’s ballot this year. O’Rourke, thanks to a flood of money from Hollywood and New York, was able to pour about $80 million into that race, outspending Cruz by a factor of about 3 to 1. Just above the senate race on the ballot was the option to vote straight Republican or straight Democrat tickets.

O’Rourke ran a mostly-positive campaign that excited a lot of voters in Texas. And thousands of those voters, perhaps hundreds of thousands of them, who might have otherwise voted for many Republicans, expressed their excitement for Irish Bob O’Rourke and saved a bunch of time by simply marking the box for the straight Democrat ticket.

There is simply no question that the ability to pour such a gargantuan amount of money into a single statewide race heavily influenced every race down the ballot. If you think the Republicans in Texas are going to get caught flat-footed in the money race again in 2020 or subsequent election cycles, you are going to be highly disappointed when those years come around.

I first started working Texas politics in 1996, two years after George W. Bush had become governor by defeating Ann Richards. At that time, all the “wise people” in Austin, all the analysts and lobbyists and reporters, assured me that this Republican thing was just a temporary aberration and that the Democrats would sweep back into power in the 1998 elections.  Instead, the Rs won every statewide office and took control of the state’s house of representatives and senate.

After that election, all these “wise people” kept assuring me that by 2002 or 2004, the state’s growing community of Hispanic voters would sweep the Democrats back into power. Here it is 2018, and it’s now a quarter of a century since any Dem won a statewide election in Texas.  Why?  Because the Republicans keep getting a higher and higher percentage of Hispanic votes as more and more Hispanics move up into the middle and upper classes of society. Republican candidates in this year’s election also saw a significant gain in their percentage of black voters.

Now, there is no doubt Texas Republicans have some work to do, especially with suburban and rural women, where they saw significant erosion of support in this year’s voting. Some of that is the Beto effect, but you sure can’t blame it all on that.

That is where the narrowing of the GOP majorities in both houses of the legislature could turn out to be a blessing in disguise, because those smaller margins are likely to force Republican leaders to focus on the state’s economic and budget matters in the upcoming legislative session, and leave all the social issues that tend to turn off those women voters on the sidelines.

In any event, any Democrat thinking they can just chalk up Texas’s mass of electoral votes to their party’s candidate for the presidency in 2020 or even in 2024 is just whistling past the graveyard.

That is all.

Vote Faking in Florida and News Faking at CNN: Some Things Never Change

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

So, how about that Creepy Porn Lawyer, huh? –  When he was representing a porn star and suing President Donald Trump, Michael Avenatti was invited to appear on CNN no fewer than 108 separate times.  Since being arrested Tuesday night for allegedly beating his spouse Tuesday evening, CNN hasn’t found it possible to invite the Creepy Porn Lawyer to appear on its fake news TV platform, nor has it managed to file a report on the event.

That little fat, bald guy who is one of their on-air personalities, and whose name I can never remember and don’t care to look up, did manage to include a few sentences about the arrest in his newsletter which is read only by demented rich white women in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, but other than that, radio silence from the news fakers at CNN.  Because that is who they are.

But teacher, the dog ate my vote count! – At a press conference on Thursday morning, Broward County elections officials, i.e, vote-stealing frauds, assured the assembled press that they would have their machine recount completed well before the 3:00 p.m. ET deadline.  But then something funny happened:  They discovered that the machine recount had added to Republican Senatorial candidate Rick Scott’s winning margin by more than 1,000 votes.

Guess what happened?  Broward’s machine recount came in 2 minutes after the deadline, which means, after all of this rigmarole, the official vote total will be what Broward originally claimed it was.

Meanwhile, over in Palm Beach County, the vote-stealing Democrat frauds didn’t even bother to really try to turn in their machine recount, and just started their manual recount, which was ordered in the Senate race by Florida’s Secretary of State, early instead.

The net result of this is that Republican Ron DeSantis is the winner in the governor’s race, although that outcome will not be certified by the SoS until next Tuesday.  So get ready for Democrat loser Andrew Gillum, who still refuses to concede, to file some sort of lawsuit in the meantime.

Rick Scott will have to wait until at least Saturday to claim his victory over detestable Bill Nelson, who will probably also file some sort of lawsuit once the hand recount is completed.

We should not expect the Democrats to let this go until they have completely exhausted every legal angle their evil minds can concoct for the simple reason that there is no downside for them in keeping this alive.  When you have 98% of the nation’s news media faking the news on your behalf and doing nothing but reciting the daily talking points you provide to them, there is no price to be paid for doing everything you can to destroy the nation’s system of free elections, which is what the Democrats have been working on doing for the last 18 years now.

So the madness will continue, most likely until the Supreme Court forces it to end.

One America News Network makes a play for Fox’s fleeing audience. – Back to CNN, you should also expect that fake news network to pursue an appeal on its lawsuit against Donald Trump for his revocation of preening performance artist Jim Acosta’s White House press badge should they receive a negative decision at the District Court level.

The idiots now running CNN’s competitor, Fox News, made the decision on Wednesday to jump in on CNN’s side in the case.  This utterly insane and indefensible decision very predictably caused a huge backlash among Fox News fans, many of whom will now be looking for another news channel to serve as their safe haven from the fake news media.

Enter OANN, the news operation that has found a small but dedicated and growing audience since its inception a few years ago. Obviously smelling an opportunity, management at OANN decided to jump into the lawsuit as well, only by filing an amicus brief supporting the White House’s side of the argument.

Here are a couple of extremely correct arguments in OANN’s brief:

“Acosta does not have a protectible First Amendment interest or right in the context of this dispute,” OANN argued, adding that “while this narcissistic approach may serve Plaintiff’s self-interests as entertainers or media figures and the network that profits therefrom, they do not serve the interests of the forum.”

and…

Acosta “has hindered our free press from functioning effectively during White House briefings,” OANN argued in a court filing, calling Acosta’s behavior “disruptive.”

Awesome.  They should establish a GoFundMe account to pay for the legal fees.  If they do, I’m giving.

CNN probably will get a correctly adverse decision here, given that the judge in the case is not an Obama appointee. The judge in fact is a Trump appointee, Timothy J. Kelly, who was confirmed to his current job in the District of Columbia by the U.S. Senate on September 8, 2017. Judges for these cases are assigned based on a random, lottery-type system, and CNN had no doubt prayed the name of an Obama judge would come up in its case, which would have given them a great chance of prevailing. The drawing of a non-Obama judge means the case will be decided on the law rather than the principles of Saul Alinsky and Democrat talking points, so CNN is no doubt already preparing its appeal to the DC Circuit, whose membership is majority Obama/Clinton appointees.

Of course, CNN’s big problem is that, should they pursue their laughable claim to the bitter end, the bitter end will come a year or two from now in front of the U.S. Supreme Court and its 5-4 Constitutionalist majority. The arguments that a) the White House has no right to enforce standards of behavior on preening fake journalists during press events, and b) Jim Acosta somehow has a constitutional right to a White House press badge so he can continue to disrupt those press events as he pursues his performance art career are going to be tough sells to John Roberts and Sam Alito and Clarence Thomas and Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh.

Judge Kelly is expected to issue his decision this morning, so we will know where this is going soon. If he rules in CNN’s favor, then the White House should simply disband the White House press corps, because it would then be in the completely intolerable position of having no authority to enforce any norms of behavior on what is nothing more than a collection of agents for the Democrat Party. That is simply not something that can be allowed to exist within this White House.

But if CNN loses, expect an appeal because, like the Democrats in Florida, there is no downside for this fake news network in doing so. It helps their ratings, and hey, you can’t harm a reputation that’s already been destroyed anyway.

That is all.

Is NBC News Faker Than CNN? It Was On Monday.

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Seems like there is a lesson to be learned in here somewhere. –  So, lessee here…the pro-Trump Republican gubernatorial candidate in Arizona, Doug Ducey, easily won his race by more than 150,000 votes.  Meanwhile, the Trump-avoiding GOP senatorial candidate, Martha McSally, who basically campaigned as the second coming of despicable RINO Jeff Flake, lost her race by about 48,000 votes at the latest count.

Hmmmm.  How do we explain that?  Think maybe there’s a cause and effect kind of thing going on there?  Nah, must be something else, because your fake news media tells you so.

Speaking of lessons to be learned, it seems the French government has a hard time doing that. – Fresh off of taking a series of cheap shots at President Donald Trump and the United States over these past four days, French President Emmanuel Macron saw his public approval ratings take another nose dive. The most recent poll shows that just 26% of French citizens approve of their juvenile President, while 71% disapprove.

President Trump must have seen that poll, given that he issued this tweet directed at Macron early this morning:

It’s good advice – are France and the rest of Europe capable of learning from the hard lessons of the past?  A review of the history of the 20th century is not at all encouraging.

Hey, hey, hey!  We have a narrative to stick to here, buddy! – NASA scientist Martin Mlynczak of NASA’s Langley Research Center expects the earth to go into a period of record…wait for it…COLD temperatures in the coming months and years thanks to a lack of solar sun spot activity.  The lack of sun spots, i.e., solar storms, in recent years is causing the sun to go into a prolonged solar minimum cycle during which the heat it emits is lower than normal.

“Right now, it is very low indeed … 10 times smaller than we see during more active phases of the solar cycle,” says Mlynczak.  “If current trends continue, it could soon set a Space Age record for cold. We’re not there quite yet, but it could happen in a matter of months.”  Yikes.

Somewhere, Al Gore is sweating anyway.

Lying is what she does for a living, after all. – Longtime Democrat fake journalist hack Andrea Mitchell repeatedly told her paltry audience on MSNBC yesterday that Broward County Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes is…wait for it… a Republican!  I kid you not.

The problem is, of course, she isn’t.  Yes, she was put into her office by doofus ex-Florida Governor Jeb! Bush, who is sort of a Republican, but Jeb! appointed lots of Democrats while Governor there because he wanted to be all bi-partisan and stuff, like any other good RINO would have done.

But Ms. Snipes is a registered Democrat today, and has always been a registered Democrat.  We could be generous here and speculate that Mitchell was simply mistaken yesterday, but it is far more likely that she, like everyone else in our fake news media, was actually reading from a set of talking points provided to her by the Democratic National Committee.

Oh, and speaking of Andrea Mitchell, she also had this to say on Twitter yesterday:

Yes, friends, NBC News, the same organization that allowed Matt Lauer to prey on young interns and aspiring reporters for years while his co-hosts joked about it on-air, the same organization that killed Ronan Farrow’s Harvey Weinstein expose’ before he got it published by The New Yorker, has won an award for its reporting on sexual harassment.  You seriously just can’t make this stuff up.

While we’re on the subject of NBC News… – Jonathan Allen published a fawning puff piece at NBCnews.com on Democrat gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum yesterday under this headline:  “Gillum Bets His Future on Defending Floridians’ Right To Vote,” which is possibly the most dishonest headline in the history of headlines.

Let’s be honest about what Gillum is defending here, ok?  No one, not Rick Scott, not Ron DeSantis, not Donald Trump, not anyone is attempting to deny any American citizen the right to cast a LEGAL vote, in Florida or anywhere else. Gillum is actually betting his future on trying to force the counting of fraudulent votes, illegal votes cast by non-citizens, dead people and people who never existed.  He’s betting his future on trying to force the counting of boxes of ballots mysteriously “found” after election day in trunks of cars, elementary school kitchens and other unlikely places, and ballots that witnesses testify were in fact filled out by Democrat election workers in Broward and Palm Beach Counties.

He is defending the chronic practice by elections officials in both of those counties to refuse to comply with Florida’s election laws, despite the fact that the state’s other 65 counties consistently manage to do so.  He is defending the refusal by Snipes and Palm Beach County Elections Supervisor Susan Bucher (Also a Democrat, despite what Andrea Mitchell might try to tell you) to comply with multiple court orders. He is defending the most obvious, blatant attempt to steal an election since Al Gore tried to steal a presidential election in these same two counties back in 2000. That is what Gillum is “defending” here, nothing more.

Luckily for the nation, Gillum and Democrat Senator Bill Nelson are going to fail, but NBC and the rest of our fake news media will just keep on lying about it all anyway.  Because that is who they are and it is what they do.

That is all.

The Week in Review: The Voting Will Continue Until The Democrats Have Their Wave

The Campaign Update Week in Review

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

There was an election on Tuesday, and about 95% of the country called it all good then.  All the votes that had been legally cast in this broad mass of the nation were legally counted by midnight, winners were declared and claimed their victories, losers conceded their losses, and all was right with the beacon of hope for the free world.

But then, there’s Arizona.  And Georgia.  And California.  And most egregious of all, there are Broward and Palm Beach Counties in Florida.

Unlike the rest of the country, the Democrat-controlled parts of these states don’t seem ever able to get their votes counted in an orderly and timely manner. Boxes filled with ballots of suspicious origin just keep on appearing seemingly out of the ether with no valid explanation for days, often weeks after the Tuesday on which the election supposedly and officially ended. Corrupt election officials in these areas just keep on counting votes in violation of the law and apparently toothless court orders as corrupt Democrat candidates and their press agents in the news media cheer them on.

Yes, the the same fake news media that has spent the last two full years now promoting the Democrat fantasy that the Russians stole the 2016 presidential election actively applauds the blatant efforts by Democrats to steal statewide elections in these pockets of the country. If you expected intellectual integrity from our nation’s dying journalism profession, you came to the wrong place.

All this post-election vote-finding and vote-counting has now grown the Democrats’ expected net gain in the U.S. House of Representatives from an estimated 30 seats to 40. In Arizona, the outcome of the race to replace Jeff Flake in the U.S. Senate has apparently been flipped, as have three congressional seats in California. In Georgia, boxes full of suspicious ballots just keep “appearing” out of thin air, and without exception they all heavily favor Democrat gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams. Go figure.

Meanwhile, in Florida, the outcome of the race for state Ag Commissioner was flipped from R to D when elections supervisors in Broward and Palm Beach suddenly “found” upwards of 100,000 mail-in ballots that they had not reported as a part of their tally on Election Day, as they are required by law to do. Thanks to the intervention of the courts, it appears the vote-stealing efforts there will ultimately fail to flip the outcomes of the U.S. Senate and governor’s races, but they were able to narrow the GOP candidates’ winning margins to final tallies  that are close enough to trigger automatic machine recounts.

When Americans went to bed late on Tuesday night, it seemed certain that the Republican majority in the Senate would be expanded to 55 seats. As they wake up on Sunday morning, it seems all but certain that the majority will actually end up being a much more tenuous 53 seats, thanks to the post-Election Day reversals in Arizona and in Montana.  This majority is now small enough to once again allow Republican squishes like Murkowski, Collins and a handful of others to effectively control the judicial confirmation process in the Senate.

There was a “blue wave” after all in these mid-term elections, but not on Election Day. It was instead a “wave” of post-election vote-counting that sealed the deal for the Democrats as our worthless news media sat by and cheered the fraud.  If this surprises you, you haven’t been paying close enough attention.

Let’s go to the rest of the Week in Review…

It was the week that an 85 year-old Supreme Court Justice fell and broke 3 ribs, prompting d-list actress Alyssa Milano to offer to donate both of her…wait for it….KIDNEYS to save Ruth Bader Ginsberg’s life. I swear I don’t make this stuff up.

It was the week that the fake news media, in coordination with the Democrat Party, dropped almost all of its previously-breathless, wall-to-wall coverage of the fake “migrant caravan” after Election Day, and took to social media to try to blame their failure to report the story on – you guessed it – President Donald Trump.  Because, of course they did.

It was the week that the fake mail bomber had his day in court and our fake news media studiously ignored the story. Shockingly, all the fake reporters did not take to social media to blame this particular failure to report on President Trump. Seems like a narrative glitch to me.

It was the week that every single candidate on whose behalf Barack Hussein Obama campaigned during the final week got beat.  Well, they all lost on Election Day, anyway – we’ll have to see how things ultimately turn out in Georgia and Florida to have a final verdict, as all the Obama-inspired community organizers do their best to keep finding and counting “votes”.

It was the week that preening CNN peacock Jim Acosta made an ass of himself in the President’s post-election press conference, assaulting a young, female White House intern in the process, and no one in the whole #MeToo movement came to the intern’s defense. Many of them in fact defended Acosta, who had his White House press badge revoked for his troubles, and has still not had it restored as of this writing.

It was the week that sad, declining comic Chelsea Handler decided that posting a semi-nude video of herself on social media would be a great way to encourage millions of Americans to go out and vote.  It wasn’t.

It was the week that Sleepy Jeff Sessions lost his job, about 12 hours after Election Day had ended. Now he can go back to Alabama and regain the U.S. Senate seat he surrendered in 2017 to take the Attorney General job, and President Trump can put someone in the AG’s job who really wants to do it.  A good and proper outcome all around.

It was the week that loser Beto O’Rourke finally stopped texting seemingly everyone in America for money, at least until January, when he will undoubtedly kick off his 2020 presidential campaign. If you think I’m kidding, well, get back to me in January and tell me how your texts are going.

It was the week that this happened:

It was also the week that this happened:

And finally, it was the week that this happened, and no one in our fake national news media uttered a peep of protest:

*sigh*

Just Another Day of Democrats Stealing Elections in America

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Why do we have to be this crazy? – Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is “back up and working” according to a relative after taking a fall and breaking three ribs early Thursday morning. That’s good news for the 85 year-old Ginsburg, and something every thinking American should be happy about.

But of course, that’s never the case on Twitter, where some right-wing idiots responded to the news that she was in the hospital with glee over the prospect of yet another Supreme Court nomination for President Donald Trump. C’mon, people.

Meanwhile, left-wing nuts kept the operators and security guards at Ginsburg’s hospital busy by calling and showing up with offers to donate their ribs and even vital organs to keep the octagenarian alive and working. These ghouls believe it is Ginsburg’s solemn duty to remain on the court until 2025, when she would be 92, if necessary in order to deny President Trump the opportunity to name her replacement.

Supreme Court appointments are supposed to be lifetime appointments, not life sentences, folks. And to you right-wing nuts, it really is fine to hope Ginsburg decides to retire soon and enjoy life a little bit in her latter years, but it really isn’t ok to hope she dies.

My goodness.

And just like that, Broward County was suddenly finished “finding” fake ballots. – As news spread yesterday that Democrat officials in Broward and Palm Beach Counties of Florida were up to their old tricks and attempting to steal the U.S. Senate and governor’s races there, Governor Rick Scott – who happens to be the legitimate winner in the Senate race – made the decision to send state law enforcement officials in to clean up the mess.

Miraculously, just minutes after the law enforcement officials had arrived, Broward’s despicably corrupt elections supervisor, Brenda Snipes, suddenly announced she and her evil minions were done counting ballots.

There are still several thousand military and overseas ballots outstanding that have until November 16 to show up and be counted, but with state law enforcement supervising the process and both Scott and Republican Governor-elect Ron DeSantis still holding sizable leads, there is no chance of these two outlaw counties reversing the legitimate decision made by the voters.

Thanks to the likely illegal votes already counted in Broward and Palm Beach, however, both races are now within the .5% margin that triggers automatic recounts under Florida law.  Thus, the nation will be treated to yet another fake news media circus thanks to rampant voter fraud operations by the Democrats in South Florida. These people make Lyndon Johnson and George Parr look like rank amateurs.

Meanwhile, out in Arizona… – Speaking of Democrats trying to steal elections, post-election day counting in Maricopa and Yuma Counties in Arizona miraculously “found” enough votes to change Republican Martha McSally’s 17,000 vote “win” into a 9,000 vote deficit to Democrat Kyrsten Sinema on Thursday as the Republican governor there did nothing to intervene in the process.  But don’t give up hope yet- there are reports that the remaining ballots left to be counted over the next few days are largely from areas that are normally Republican precincts.  Of course, unless state law enforcement is called in to supervise the process, those Republican-leaning areas have a way of turning into Democrat-leaning areas.

We’ll just have to wait and see.

And in Georgia, the peach still hasn’t conceded. – Ultra-leftist Democrat Stacey Abrams, who has lost the governor’s race to Republican Brian Kemp by more than 73,000 votes, still refuses to concede in the hopes that Democrat election officials can follow the lead of Broward County and “find” boxes mysteriously filled with votes overwhelmingly cast in her favor. Unless state officials there intercede, don’t be too surprised if that happens.  These people are soulless ghouls and will do anything to “win.”

Speaking of Lyndon Johnson and George Parr… – By the time the mysterious “Box 13” was “discovered” by election officials in Jim Wells County, Texas (not in Duval County, as is often misstated) to give that 1948 Democrat senate primary race to the man who would go onto become a president, President Harry Truman – himself a Democrat – had sent in FBI agents to begin an investigation at the request of Texas Governor Coke Stevenson, also a Democrat.

While it is probably premature to make any such move related to the shenanigans going on in Arizona and Georgia, the situation with utterly corrupt election officials in Palm Beach, Broward and several other counties in Florida has become so outrageous that it really does seem as if federal oversight would be appropriate. Every election cycle, we end up with a situation in which these Democrat-run counties are in violation of Florida’s law requiring votes to be counted and submitted within 48 hours of the polls having closed on election day. This does not happen in any Republican-run part of the state, or in some Democrat parts of the state, like Miami-Dade County.

Of course, the problem here is that the FBI was itself so utterly corrupted during the Obama years that we can’t be sure federal agents would do anything effective to stop the fraud. In any event, it is crystal clear we simply cannot trust any vote count coming from these Florida counties and many other Democrat-run areas of the country, and that is a blot on the legitimacy of our entire system.

Voter fraud is real, it is rampant, and it is exclusively a Democrat-run monopoly.

That is all.

Ok, I’m going to close this one down right here.  Will start this evening’s open thread at 6:00 CT sharp – please join me and offer comments and information as you find it.  Thanks.

UPDATE @4:10 CT:

The folks at ZeroHedge.com have a really nice piece on when the polls in every state close and what to watch for when they do…

Not good news for Dean Heller out in Nevada…

UPDATE @3:10 CT:

Michael Newton with some more good early voting data…

UPDATE @2:20 CT:

Nate Silver’s 538.com weighs in with its final “blue wave” prediction…

It’s fair to note that 538 also gave Hillary Clinton better than a 70% chance of winning the presidency on Election Day 2016.

538 also provides this interesting look-back at previous mid-term outcomes…

UPDATE @ 2:00 CT:

Final AZ early voting numbers are in, and they look good for McSally…

Michael Newton, who everyone would do well to follow on Twitter, makes a great point here…

Another tweeter everyone would to well to follow, au ng, has final Early Voting numbers from Florida, and again, they are very positive for the GOP…

UPDATE @12:30 CT:

Man, nobody would have ever guessed this would happen.  Oh, wait…

What?  Climate Change is not at the top of everyone’s mind today?  How can this be?

UPDATE @12:22 CT:  Trafalgar with some more final polls…

Noon, CT:  Let’s start with some key data points that have come across the @GDBlackmon Twitter feed today….

The Republican polling firm Trafalgar Group releases its final Florida poll this morning, and it is glorious if accurate:

Trafalgar was also the last firm to poll the Texas senate race…

Man, if this TargetSmart bunch has an accurate means of estimating early vote turnout, this is going to be an epic Red Wave.  TargetSmart, by the way, is a Democrat polling firm…

In Phoenix, Republicans are doing better in every city ward than they did in 2016. Bad news for nutjob Democrat Kyrsten Sinema…

This just happened in the world of media bias…

Ok, this is funny.  And sadly accurate…

That is all, for now.

Pro Tips for Election Night Results-Watching

The Evening Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

[I will be live-blogging the mid-term election results here starting at 6:00 p.m. Central Time Tuesday.  Please join me in the comments section for tons of fun as the results either make me look like the smartest guy on the planet or a damn fool.  Could go either way.]

Some pro tips for Election Night Results-Watching:

  • We may have a very good idea on how the House balance of power will end up fairly early in the evening. – A large number of the “tossup” seats in this election are in closely-divided districts in Florida, Virginia, New York and Pennsylvania, all in the Eastern time zone.  So, by 8 p.m. Central Time, we should have a pretty good idea of what the trend in those districts is, or if there is no trend at all.
  • There aren’t many other key House districts in the Central or Mountain time zones. – Once you get out of the states on the Eastern Seaboard, you only have a handful of key House districts until you get to California, where the Democrats are heavily contesting 10 remaining GOP-held seats.  If the Ds haven’t clinched the majority in the House by the time polls close in California, it’s going to be a long night.  If they have, the state loses its importance in the grand scheme of things, though it will still be interesting to see if Rs like Dana Rohrabacher can hang in there for one more term in office.
  • If the House goes early, the Senate probably will, too. – Here is where Florida is such a key.  The Republicans are going to end up at least 60,000 votes ahead of 2016 in the early voting results.  Trump won Florida by 117,000 votes in 2016, so if you add 60,000 to that, you get a fairly high hill for incumbent Democrat Bill Nelson to climb in his run for re-election against sitting GOP Governor Rick Scott.  If we see Scott losing this race by, say, 5% or more when the early returns come in, then that will likely mean it’s going to be along night for the GOP.  If we see Scott keeping it closer than that in the early returns, that means good news for Republicans is probably going to be coming in all night long.
  • Georgia’s governor’s race is also key. – This race shouldn’t be as close as the polls claim it is.  If the early returns show a neck-and-neck race here, then you can probably expect a pretty late night overall.
  • Don’t be surprised if Irish Bob O’Rourke leads Ted Cruz early in Texas. – The major metro areas in Texas lean Democrat as a whole, and their returns always come in earlier than the rural counties.  Hillary Clinton led Donald Trump by ~160,000 votes when the early voting was reported at 7:00 by the Secretary of State’s office.  But then the rural counties started to come in and that more than reversed.  In total, rural Texas went for Trump by more than 1 million votes in 2016.  Expect to see a similar dynamic in this race.
  • Ignore leaked “exit polls.” – At some point around mid-day, one more more major media outlets will report on “leaked” exit poll information showing Democrats well ahead and moving towards their long-coveted “blue wave.”  Ignore those reports.  First of all, these “exit polls” are commissioned by those same damn media outlets, and the “leaks” are designed to depress GOP turnout on Election Day.  They’ve been playing this despicable game since 2000.  The good news is, it never works.
  • It’s Ok to watch CNN. – Aside from the obvious benefits of seeing all the long faces over there if the Republicans have a good night, John King was actually much better and more even-handed at reporting on results and trends than anyone else on Election Night 2016.  Fox News was actually the worst place to be on Election Night 2016, as they focused far more on giving everyone with a contributor contract time to weigh in on stuff they know nothing about than on actually reporting on election results.  Thus, Fox News was among the last to recognize the reality that Trump was actually about to win.
  • Whenever Juan Williams or Shep Smith appear on your TV screen, change channels. – Trust me, it’s better for your blood pressure.
  • Pace yourself on your favorite beverage. – Don’t hit the juice too hard early, because it could be a long night, just like 2016.  And don’t break out the champagne too early like all the Democrats did two years ago – it’ll go flat in just a few hours, and that’s never good.

Personally, I’ll be drinking Tito’s and Topo Chico with a twist of lime and a couple of cubes of sugared ginger root – my own personal Texas Mule recipe.  If Florida goes bad early, that’ll probably start showing up in my updates around 8:30 Central Time.

Be careful out there.

That is all.
