Lindsey Graham Drops the “Jail” Bomb on Judge Jeanine

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Appearing with Judge Jeanine Pirro on Fox News, Senator Lindsey Graham gave us another dose of big talk Saturday. The Senator who has done a lot of talking and accomplished pretty much nothing in terms of investigating anything for an entire year as Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee was once again spouting off on investigating pretty much everybody. At one point in the clip below, you will hear him even promise Pirro’s audience that “half the people involved in the Russia investigation” will end up in jail.

Here’s the thing about this: He’s running out of time. Senate investigations take a lot of time. It can and often does take weeks or even months to get a single witness’s testimony, especially given the willingness of Obama judges on the federal courts to intervene in congressional processes these days. But Graham makes it sound as if he has a grand plan for finally, at long last taking some action in this regard now that the impeachment scam has been disposed of.

Below is a 7:23 clip of the interview, much of which is irrelevant to the subject of this piece. A transcription of several of the key passages follows the clip.

Partial transcript:

Pirro: What’s left for Mitt Romney?

Graham: Well, number one, I’m not going to say anything bad about Mitt Romney. I’ve known him for a long time and I think he made a very bad judgment call. I’m not going to question his faith. But let’s see if you and I can figure this out in about two minutes.

Who was behind it [impeachment]? Schiff, Nadler, Pelosi. Not  Mueller, not Watergate prosecutors, not Ken Starr. The 3 most partisan people in the country, who hate Trump’s guts. How did they do it? They impeached the man in 78 days. He couldn’t call a witness; he couldn’t cross-examine anybody; he couldn’t present evidence….[summary of the impeachment scam continues here] this was a bad decision for anybody to vote guilty on these facts.

Pirro: What do they do now? Do they move on?

Graham: I don’t think they can move on, because they’ve got nothing to move on to…

Pirro: Let’s switch it to you guys. Can we expect that you, or Burr as Chairman of Senate Intelligence, may want to look at the whistleblower…the Bidens…James Rich, Chair of Foreign Relations, doesn’t seem to have an appetite. He says “I’ve got other things I’m doing now and I haven’t given it any thought.” Haven’t given it any thought??? America’s been talking about this for 3 months!

Graham: So, we’re not gonna live in a world where, as a Republican, you get investigated from the day you’re sworn in; 3 years later, they’re still coming after you.

Here’s what amazes me. The Russia investigation, what happened? Half the people involved in the Russia investigation are gonna go to jail, and Trump was cleared…

Pirro: Hopefully…

Graham: Well, just hang tight. They come after Trump on Ukraine, and Biden blows up. So, every time they throw a rock at Trump, they get hit.

So, here’s what we should look at: Why did the State Department not act when they were told about the conflict of interest with Hunter Biden regarding Ukraine, right? Who is the whistleblower? Does he have contacts on Schiff’s staff? Did Col. Vindman lead information to the whistleblower? And as to the FISA warrant, how could you sign the warrant four times and not know the thing was off the rails? That’s where I come in.

Pirro: So, you’re going to do something. You want to tell us what you’re going to do?

Graham: Yeah, I’m going to give a list of witnesses to the Department of Justice that I want to call. It’s going to the case agent. I want to find out how this thing got so screwed up. Why didn’t they tell about the Russian source who said the Dossier’s not reliable? How could it be possible that it never goes up to the top?

I want to know what Obama knew about this investigation. I want to call Rosenstein, Sally Yates, Comey, McCabe, and all the people who worked on this case, to find out how it got so off the rails and make sure it never happens again. I want to know who in the White House knew about this counterintelligence investigation against the Republican nominee.

Pirro: [Immediately changes the subject to Joe Manchin’s vote to convict the President. It’s Joe freaking Manchin – who cares?]

Graham: …The reason I’m so upset about this impeachment is it puts every president after Trump at risk. You can’t even pick the phone up as president under this standard.

Pirro: [Changes the subject to Afghanistan.]

[End Transcript]

So, several things to unpack here:

  • As is always the case with Senator Graham, what we have here is a mixed bag. Graham continues to promise to perform investigations, which is great if he starts following through with some real action starting now. Not in April, not in June, not in August because by then it will be too late. Now, Senator.
  • It is encouraging that Graham pointedly lists the whistleblower – who we all know is Eric Ciaramella – Adam Schiff’s staff and Alexander Vindman as subjects he plans to pursue with his committee. Yes, Hunter and Joe Biden are important here, but they weren’t part of this coup effort in any real sense. Ciaramella, Vindman and the bad actors on Schiff’s staff – along with Schiff himself, obviously – were a part of it.
  • And how patently absurd is it that U.S. senators are still going on national TV and saying “the whistleblower” when everyone in the room and watching at home knows who the freaking whistleblower really is? This is national insanity. Ciaramella participated in a COUP D’ETAT, folks, and that is treason.
  • But look at Graham giving himself a convenient out on all of this, when he says he’s going to send a list of potential witnesses to the “case agent” for approval. That “case agent” is a guy named John Durham.
  • If Durham is really performing an actual investigation – and I believe he is – then that’s great. Let him determine whether the Senate taking public testimony will interfere with anything he’s doing. But if, as others suspect, Durham and Barr are just playing a delaying game in concert with Graham and other to put this all off until the November elections have come and gone, then not so great, right?
  • When Graham tells Pirro to “just hang tight” on people going to jail, that is an obvious reference to Durham. If you, like me, believe that Durham is actually conducting an investigation designed to prosecute people, then that might be a signal from Graham that he’s been told things are about to start happening on that front.

When you boil this all down, unless Graham really is planning to start an investigation posthaste, then it’s really hard to see why he would keep going on television to talk a good game. Coming as this appearance does this close to election time, his constituents back home are really going to have some pointed questions for him if, come September, he still hasn’t moved on any of this.

It does make sense that Graham and the other Senate committees would let the whole impeachment scam play itself out before opening their own investigations. It also makes sense that Durham would wait until those waters had calmed before moving on any indictments and prosecutions. Timing is very important in all of this.

Here’s the other thing: Durham is going after real justice for real bad actors. Scams like this fake impeachment can be mounted and play out quickly, but real justice in our system takes time. It’s like the difference between a bottle of Welch’s grape juice and a bottle of 2012 Cade Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon.

In a just world, Attorney General William Barr would announce the appointment of a Special Counsel to investigate the origins of the impeachment coup d’etat, just as he has Durham investigating the origins of the whole Russia Collusion coup effort. Lacking that, we are left with only Republican-controlled Senate committees to do the investigative work, which will certainly end with a series of criminal referrals. Ultimately, either process will require DOJ to act.

Here’s the key statement Graham made in this entire interview: “So, we’re not gonna live in a world where, as a Republican, you get investigated from the day you’re sworn in; 3 years later, they’re still coming after you.”

Unless Durham is really conducting an earnest investigation that truly will end with a bunch of these people going to jail, and unless Graham and Burr and Senate Finance Chairman Chuck Grassley really do mount major investigations into the origins of the impeachment scam through their committees, that is exactly the world we are going to be living in from now on.

It is crucial to remember that all of this takes place with the November elections looming and the GOP holding onto a tenuous Senate majority. Should the voters decide to award the corrupt Democrats a majority in the Senate, then the hopes of ever bringing any of the coup plotters to justice will end, unless they have already been indicted.

Talk is cheap, gentlemen. Time to move.

That is all.

Rand Paul Exposes the Coup Plotters in a Brilliant Floor Speech

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Late Tuesday morning, Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky delivered one of the great speeches in American history. In the course of just five minutes, Paul exposes the whistleblower who served as the catalyst for this impeachment scam, a coup d’etat on American soil. He exposes the Chief Justice of the United States and Adam Schiff and several Schiff staffers as co-conspirators. And he exposes not one, but two Vindman brothers as also serving as willing co-conspirators in this coup attempt.

This speech is brilliant for its content, its courage, its timing and its delivery. Below is a clip, and a transcript of the key first five minutes of the speech, something I was unable to find anywhere else.

Here’s the Transcript of the first 5 minutes – the final 90 seconds end up being repetitive:

During the proceedings, I asked a question that was disallowed, and I’m going to ask that question again this morning. Because the Constitution does protect debate, and it does protect the asking of questions.

I think they made a big mistake not allowing my question. My question did not talk about anybody who is a whistleblower; my question did not accuse anybody of being a whistleblower; it did not make a statement believing someone was a whistleblower. I simply named two peoples’ names, because I think it’s very important to know what happened.

We are now finding out that the FISA investigation was predicated upon 17 lies by the FBI, by people at high levels who were biased against the President, and it turns out it was an illegitimate investigation. Everything they did to investigate the President was untrue, and it involved people using the government to do things that should have never been done in the first place.

So I asked this question, and this is my question: Are you aware that the House Committee staffer, Sean Misko, had a close relationship with Eric Ciaramella while they were at the National Security Council together? How would you respond to reports that Ciaramella and Misko may have worked together to plot impeaching the President before there were formal House impeachment proceedings?

Why did I ask this question? Because there are news reports saying these two people, one of whom works for Adam Schiff, and one of them who worked with this person at the NSC, that they knew each other and had been overheard talking about impeaching the President in the first month of his office. In January of 2017, they were already plotting the impeachment.

And you say, well, we should protect the whistleblower, and the whistleblower deserve anonymity. The law does not preserve anonymity.

His boss is not supposed to say anything about him, he’s not supposed to be fired – I’m for that. But when you get into the details of talking about whistleblowers, there’s a variety of opinions around here.

The greatest whistleblower in American history in all likelihood was Edward Snowden. What do people here want to do with him? Half the people here want to put him to death; the other half want to put him in jail forever. So, it depends on what you blow the whistle on, whether or not they’re for the whistleblower statute. [TRUE]

I’m not for retributions on the whistleblower. I don’t want him to go to jail, I don’t want him to lose his job. But if six people who all worked together at the NSC knew each other and gamed the system, knowing that they would get these protections, they gamed the system in order to try to bring down the President, we should know about that.

If they had extreme bias going into the impeachment, we should know about that.

So, I think the question is an important one, and I think we should still get to the bottom of it.

Were people plotting to bring down the President? They were plotting in advance of the election – were they plotting within the halls of government to bring down the President?

Look, these people also knew the Vindman brothers, who are still in government. So, you’ve got two Vindman brothers over there who know Eric Ciaramella, who also know Sean Misko, who also knew two other people now working on Adam Schiff’s staff.

And Adam Schiff throws his hands up and says, ‘I don’t know who the whistleblower is, I’ve never met him. I have no idea who he is.’

So, if he [Schiff] doesn’t know who he is, the President’s counsel doesn’t know who he is, how does the Chief Justice of the United States know who the whistleblower is? I have no independent confirmation from anyone in the government as to who the whistleblower is.

So, how am I prevented from asking a question, when nobody seems to know who this person is?

My point is, that by having such protections, such overzealous protection, we don’t get to the root of the matter how this started. Because this could happen again.

When the institution of the bureaucracy, the intelligence community with all the power to listen into every phone conversation you have, has political bias and can game the system to go after you, that’s a real worry.

It’s a real worry that they spied on the President, but what if you’re just an average American? What if you’re just a supporter of President Trump, or you’re a Republican or you’re a conservative? Are we not concerned that secret courts could allow for warrants to listen to your phone calls, to tap into your emails, to read your text messages? I’m very concerned about that.

So, we’re going to have this discussion go on. It really isn’t about the whistleblower so much, it’s about reforming government. It’s about limiting the power of what they can do as secret courts.

[End]

Epic. Fantastic. It’s impossible to overstate what a tremendous service Senator Paul did for our country today.

But even after this, after Senator Paul has repeatedly said Ciaramella’s name on the floor of the U.S. Senate, you can count on our corrupt, fake news media to continue its despicable pretense of not knowing the whistleblower’s name.

A pox on all their houses.

That is all.

GOP Senators Should Focus on Eric Ciaramella in any Witness Deal

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Rumors abound that small groups of Democrat and Republican senators are contemplating a “deal” on senate trial witnesses that would end up with Democrats getting their wish to have John Bolton testify in exchange for Republicans calling the scummy Hunter Biden in to soil the Senate chamber. This would be a terrible deal for the President.

Yes, there is no real doubt that Joe Biden and his son played a sleazy influence peddling game with the Ukraine while Biden was vice president. Yes, there should be legal consequences for both men, although we can be sure that our utterly corrupt Department of Justice will make sure no justice ever arrives for either of them. Yes, it was perfectly valid for President Trump to insist that the Ukrainian government do its duty to investigate the Biden corruption before releasing any U.S. aid to that country.

All of that and so much more is true and right and lovely. But it’s also a distraction from the heart of this impeachment scam, which was concocted out of whole cloth by Adam Schiff, Nancy Pelosi and their highly-paid team of Lawfare contract lawyers, working in concert with their fake “whistleblower,” Eric Ciaramella. Yes, I know we  are all supposed to pretend that we don’t really know that Ciaramella is in fact the fake whistleblower, but we all do know that he is, and I’m not really very good at pretending.

We know without any doubt at all that Ciaramella met with Schiff and his staff well before he filed his fake “whistleblower” claim targeting President Trump. We know there is a very high degree of likelihood that that claim was in fact written at least in part and perhaps entirely by Schiff’s lawyers. We know that Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson himself is an Obama loyalist holdover who illicitly changed the whistleblower rules in order to accommodate Ciaramella’s false claim against the President.

And we know without any doubt whatsoever that Ciaramella himself is an Intelligence Community plant who has been a part of the Deep State’s neverending coup d’etat against this President. This morning, Paul Sperry has a new report at RealClearInvestigations documenting that Ciaramella was already busy conspiring with other plants inside the White House barely two weeks after Mr. Trump took office in 2017.

Sperry identifies one of Ciaramella’s co-conspirators as Sean Misko, who left the White House last summer to join the staff of – wait for it – Adam Schiff! Oh, you don’t sayyyyy.

From the Sperry Report:

Sources told RealClearInvestigations the staffer with whom Ciaramella was speaking was Sean Misko. Both were Obama administration holdovers working in the Trump White House on foreign policy and national security issues. And both expressed anger over Trump’s new “America First” foreign policy, a sea change from President Obama’s approach to international affairs.

“Just days after he was sworn in they were already talking about trying to get rid of him,” said a White House colleague who overheard their conversation.

“They weren’t just bent on subverting his agenda,” the former official added. “They were plotting to actually have him removed from office.”

Misko left the White House last summer to join House impeachment manager Adam Schiff’s committee, where sources say he offered “guidance” to the whistleblower, who has been officially identified only as an intelligence officer in a complaint against Trump filed under whistleblower laws. Misko then helped run the impeachment inquiry based on that complaint as a top investigator for congressional Democrats.

If you want to make a deal for a witness exchange, Republicans, make it for Ciaramella, not Hunter Biden.

Oh, and you might want to make a 2-for-2 deal so that you can also force Mr. Atkinson to testify publicly about his own role in this clear conspiracy to take down a President. As Sperry points out, Atkinson already spent hours testifying in the basement of the Capital Building, but the equally sleazy Adam Schiff still refuses to release the transcript of that testimony:

The investigators say that details about how the whistleblower consulted with Schiff’s staff and perhaps misled Atkinson about those interactions are contained in the transcript of a closed-door briefing Atkinson gave to the House Intelligence Committee last October. However, Schiff has sealed the transcript from public view. It is the only impeachment witness transcript out of 18 that he has not released.

Schiff has classified the document “Secret,” preventing Republicans who attended the Atkinson briefing from quoting from it. Even impeachment investigators cannot view it outside a highly secured room, known as a “SCIF,” in the basement of the Capitol. Members must first get permission from Schiff, and they are forbidden from bringing phones into the SCIF or from taking notes from the document.

Atkinson’s transcript is the only one Schiff has refused to produce. Obviously, the Democrats are afraid to reveal its content to the American public.

If Republican Senators want to call the Democrats’ bluff on calling witnesses, they should be focused on the fake whistleblower and the guy who enabled him, not the sleazy, drug-addled son of a sleazy former vice president.

That is all.

The Fake Impeachment Coup Effort Goes Back to at Least April

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Readers who watched Friday’s fake impeachment hearing will likely remember the moment when, after President Trump had released the full transcript of his first call with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky, Bug-eyes Schiff read the White House’s read-out summary of the call, prepared by staff of the National Security Council, into the record. You will also remember that Bug-eyes dramatically noted that, hey, this NSC summary of the call does not accurately reflect what was actually said on the call.

Specifically, Bug-eyes pointed to this passage from the NSC summary:

“[President Trump] underscored the unwavering support of the United States for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity – within its internationally recognized borders – and expressed his commitment to work together with President-elect Zelensky and the Ukrainian people to implement reforms that strengthen democracy, increase prosperity, and root out corruption.”

Bug-eyes then noted, as his eyes almost bugged right out of his pasty noggin, that the transcript of the call does not indicate that President Trump in fact said any of those things on the call. Naturally, Schiff wants the public to believe that this incorrect read-out summary of the call is somehow a part of a nefarious White House scheme to cover up the President’s “real” conversations with Zelensky.

But there’s a problem with the Democrats’ latest false narrative to frame President Trump: Guess who prepared that read-out summary of that April call? Why, as the Washington Examiner reported on Saturday, that job fell to the NSC’s “Ukraine expert.”‘

Guess who that happens to be? If you said retired Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, who plays the role of the unassailable military guy in this whole charade, you win the prize. This would be the very same Alexander Vindman who tacitly admitted during his Capitol basement interrogation that he believed it was his job to actively undermine and countermand President Trump’s policy towards Ukraine, even as he laughably claimed he faithfully worked to execute that policy.

This would also be the very same Alexander Vindman who pretty much undoubtedly is one of the “sources” for the fake complaint filed by fake whistleblower Eric Ciaramella, the CIA leaker/spy who went right back to the CIA once his role in this fantasy play had been executed and remains gainfully employed there today. Vindman himself remains embedded at the NSC with the apparent full backing of the Pentagon and the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who could recall him from his posting at the White House at any time for any reason.

In fact, a good case can be made that it is the Pentagon’s duty to the Commander-in-Chief to act to reassign Vindman to some clerk job in the Pentagon basement, since it is politically impossible for the President to make that happen at this time. Yet, the generals do nothing to remove this human cancer. Think about the implications of that inaction in this whole scenario.

So as we see clearly now, this latest coup plot to remove the President via this impeachment circus did not begin with Bug-eyes and his staff coordinating the complaint with Ciaramella. It began at least in April with Vindman constructing the read-out summary of that call in a way that supports the Democrat/media “coverup” narrative.

It would be a great next step if the Examiner could endeavor to find out who else at the NSC was in the chain of approval for Vindman’s summary. Let’s all remember that President Trump’s National Security Advisor at that time was this guy named John Bolton, who the President got rid of in August.

Oh.

This is not an impeachment, folks. This is a slow-rolling coup d’etat, one that has been moving since at least April, and likely earlier than that. It’s the “back-up plan” to the Mueller “back-up plan.”

That is all.

Democrat Impeachment Circus Finally Makes it to the Big Top

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Tired of all this #WINNING yet? Yeah, neither am I. – Another day, another stock market record. The NASDAQ closed at its latest all-time record high on Tuesday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average also closing unchanged at its all-time record high level. The Trump economy just refuses to cooperate with the Democrat/Media effort to talk the nation into a recession before next year’s elections.

The economy and stock market are doing so incredibly well, in fact, that the Democrats simply must impeach President Donald Trump. – The amazing prosperity and record levels of low unemployment achieved by the Trump economy has the Democrats so upset that they believe they have no choice but to impeach the President. No, I’m not kidding in saying that. That really is the case here.

San Fran Nan, Bug-eyes Schiff, Jabba the Nadler and the rest of the Democrat “leadership” understand that, when an incumbent president is running for re-election to a second term, that election pretty much always turns on the relative health of the economy. Voters tend to vote their pocketbooks, and when their pocketbooks are filled thanks to their being gainfully employed, they don’t tend to be in the mood for a radical change in the White House.

Let’s be honest: If the Democrats are offering nothing else to the voters with their lineup of carnival freak show presidential contenders, they are offering radical change, and not for the better when it comes to the economy. From Elizabeth Warren to The Commie to Preacher Pete to Quid Pro Joe, what they are offering to the voters for 2020 would well and truly take the nation to economic ruin like it has never seen before. There is not enough money on the face of God’s green earth to fund the $92 trillion Green New Deal, much less Medicare for all, free tuition, and all the other tons o’ fun free stuff these nitwits are using to try to buy the votes of the naive and the just plain stupid among us.

Given this stark reality, Democrat poo-bahs know they must do everything they possibly can to make the 2020 election a referendum on something, anything other than the economy. So they concocted the dumbest fake impeachment plan in U.S. history, a plan to hype and mis-characterize a July 25 phone call between the presidents of the U.S. and Ukraine, a plan to turn a perfectly valid demand by the U.S. for the Ukraine to investigate clear and unambiguous corruption by a former U.S. vice president and his son into some sort of mob-style blackmail scheme.

The plan is to “dirty-up” President Trump with a phony scandal to such an extent that his amazingly resilient public approval numbers fall into the 30s range, based on the reality that they cannot hope to defeat him next year unless that happens. San Fran Nan and Bug-eyes thought they could achieve this goal by holding Soviet-style interrogations of witnesses in the basement of the Capitol and strategically leaking only the damaging parts of their testimony to their willing accomplices at the New York Times, the Washington Post and CNN.

But that tactic failed miserably just as all their other tactics over the past three years have miserably failed. So, today they’re taking their deceitful carnival side show right out into the Big Top with nationally-televised hearings featuring bureaucrats no one’s ever heard of whining about the disagreements they had with the foreign policy constitutionally set by the President of the United States.

Even in this new phase, the despicable Dems are hilariously hamstrung by their own mendacity. They can’t call the fake whistleblower, Eric CIAramella, whose fake, hearsay complaint served as the kicking off point for this entire fantasy play. They can’t call this deep state spy/leaker because he’d either have to commit perjury or admit to all of his coordination with Bug-eyes and his staff in writing and filing the complaint.

And what of the highly-publicized and promoted Alexander Vindman, the Obama holdover at the NSC who showed up to his basement interrogation wearing his dress uniform for the TV cameras in clear violation of the U.S. military code of conduct? Vindman’s name is mysteriously nowhere to be found on this week’s witness list. It turns out that, despite Schiff’s strategic leaks of small portions of Vindman’s tesimony, the deep state embed actually did not do well at all under cross-examination by GOP Rep. John Ratcliffe, and Vindman’s hothead lawyer came across as the bad guy character from an episode of Ally McBeal. So Vindman obviously needs more coaching time, and perhaps also a new lawyer.

Curiously on the witness list for Thursday is ex-U.S. Ambassador to the Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, who we know already committed perjury during her own basement testimony. This Obama holdover was so corrupt that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky actually asked President Trump to get rid of her. But, being an Obama appointee, she is no doubt willing to say whatever San Fran Nan and Bug-eyes want from her, so they’re putting her up there despite her previous perjury.

I won’t be obsessing over these public hearings today because I have better things to do with my time, like trim my fingernails and vacuum the spare bedrooms, and I hope you won’t either.

Because at the end of the day, this is just a show. It’s just an episode of ‘Seinfeld’: A show about nothing, only without the entertaining parts.

That is all.

Alan Dershowitz: The Stalinist Democrats are Making up Crimes

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Those who dare speak the truth invariably become the first casualties of any communist revolution. – Alan Dershowitz, for those who do not know, is a very liberal longtime professor of constitutional law at Harvard University law school. For years following the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 and subsequent dissolution of the Soviet Union, conservatives referred to Harvard Law School as the last bastion of communism on the face of the earth. That all ended early in the 21st century, as communism began making its comeback within the ranks of the Democrat Party.

But I digress. Back to Dershowitz.

For many years, Prof. Dershowitz was a frequent contributor for both CNN and Fox News. His appearances have now gone away for the most part as both cable news channels have shied away from airing the views of liberals who actually speak the truth about the never-ending coup mounted by the Democrat/media/deep state Axis of Disinformation. In fact, Dershowitz says he has has been banned entirely on CNN. Big surprise there.

But Dershowitz still finds his way into the media anyway. On Sunday, he appeared on the John Catsimatidis radio show  to talk about the fake impeachment circus being run by Adam Schiff and San Fran Nan. During the course of this interview, the longtime registered Democrat made some startling accusations about the current leaders of his Party, comparing them to Joseph Stalin and the head of Stalin’s KGB, Lavrentiy Beria.

Here is some of the transcript of that interview [emphasis added is mine]:

They’re very scary. They’re very frightening to any civil libertarian. Whether you’re a Democrat or Republican; whether you come from New York or the middle of the country, you should be frightened by efforts to try to create crimes out of nothing. The latest twist was people on television, particularly CNN and MSNBC, are saying that if the president or somebody else was to name the whistleblower in the Ukrainian situation, that person would be guilty of a crime. I said in the afternoon yesterday, searching the federal criminal statutes from beginning to end, I couldn’t find the crime.

It reminds me of Lavrentiy Beria, head of the KGB, said to Stalin, he said, “Show me the man and I’ll find you the crime.” Which he really meant, I’ll make up the crime.

And so the Democrats are now making up crimes. First they made up collusion. “Ahh! Collusion. It’s a crime!” I searched the statute books. There’s no crime of collusion except when businessmen get together to collude against the anti-trust laws, but no crime of collusion with a foreign country.

Then after that, they said “obstruction of Congress.”No, no, no, no, no. Obstruction of justice is a crime; obstruction of Congress is part of our system of checks and balances. If you get a subpoena from Congress, and you’re the president or in the executive department, and you think you have an executive privilege, you have an obligation not to respond. That’s not “obstruction of Congress,” that’s checks and balances under our Constitution.

So what we’re seeing, in a desperate effort to try to find crimes against President Trump: they’re just making it up. And that means we are all in danger, because if we can make up a crime — Congressman Cohen of Tennessee said that me and others who appear on Fox essentially were co-conspirators; we’re in on it. He’s now threatening people who are commentators, a liberal Democrat like me, who’s a commentator, that we’re in on it, that we’re co-conspirators. It is such a dangerous development to civil liberties.

The ACLU should be up in arms, but they’re silent.

[End]

Well, of course the ACLU is silent. The ACLU is just another Marxist organization dedicated to undermining the rule of law in the United States, a reality that Dershowitz can’t seem to bring himself to accept. The ACLU only weighs in to promote “freedoms” that serve to undermine the foundations of American liberty and freedom.

So, you won’t see this world-renowned law professor on CNN again, because CNN shares the same goals held by the ACLU. And you won’t see him on Fox News much, if at all, anymore, because those idiots are too busy promoting the rants of the pea-brained hack, Andrew Napolitano.

This is how things work in any communist society: The first thing you do is silence authority figures and experts who refuse to toe the party line. Once that has been accomplished, the media outlets all know that the next step is to silence any journalists who facilitate the airing of those contrarian views.

Management at CNN has spent the last four years systematically ridding its airwaves of all liberal authority figures who dare to speak any truth about the Democrat Party, replacing them all with more cookie-cutter talking points monkeys. The current management at Fox News is now going about doing the same, getting rid of Dershowitz and other liberal truth-tellers and replacing them with talking points monkeys like the nitwit Marie Harf and the corrupt Donna Brazile.

We should fully expect the great Mollie Hemingway to become the next casualty of the Fox purge. Hemingway has been a frequent contributor on Fox for years now, but as we noted yesterday at the Campaign Update, she broke Fox’s idiotic wall of omerta against speaking the name of fake whistleblower Eric Ciaramella on-air on Sunday. The cable channel’s leftist management will now come under pressure from their peers to either punish Hemingway or face not being invited to all the best cocktail and dinner parties on the Upper East Side for the foreseeable future.

And you know how the rich, white lefties are about their cocktail and dinner parties: Prof. Dershowitz hasn’t been invited to one in years.

That is all.

Mollie Hemingway Speaks the Name that Shall not be Spoken on Fox News

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

It was a dirty job, but someone needed to do it. – All it took was a set of brass balls, which of course means that none of the male anchors or contributors on Fox or any other cable TV channel would ever dream of doing it. But hey, offsetting the cowardly acts of her male counterparts is why we have the great Mollie Hemingway around in the first place.

Since a long-term, ultimately fatal illness removed Charles Krauthamer from the Fox Report’s nightly panel discussions, Hemingway has become the real prevailing star of that show, although Bret Baier doesn’t invite her on often enough. When she does appear there, Mollie regularly lays the rhetorical wood to arrogant NeverTrump jerk weeds like Stephen Hayes and Jonah Goldberg, or some female DC Swamp dweller like the insufferable A.B. Stoddard.

Hemingway is a true treasure: Never at a loss for words, always with something real and useful to offer, and never afraid to speak truth to power on any topic.

Sunday morning, she appeared on Fox’s Media Buzz program, hosted by Howie Kurtz, on a panel that included the despicable Clinton operative Philip Reines. Although everyone at Fox News, employees and contributors alike, have been ordered by the corrupt clowns who run the channel now to never, never, never, ever mention the name of the fake whistleblower – Eric Sciaramella – Hemingway, when the subject was brought up by Kurtz, essentially risked her gig by defying the male cowards and doing exactly that.

Here’s the clip – let us all bask in its awesomeness:

The look on Reines’s face is utterly priceless, and the dishonest response by Kurtz – who is normally a pretty solid guy – pretending to not know whether Ciaramella is in fact the seditious leaker is just cowardly and disgusting.

Hemingway is obviously as sick of the tiresome, false pretense of not knowing the fake whistleblower’s real identity as we all are, and she’s determined to not be a part of it. She is that rarity in today’s national news media – a journalist with actual principles and courage.

Given the cowardly and corrupt nature of the current management at Fox News, her effort to try to force Fox to end the absurd farce could well end up costing her her contributor status there. At the very least, it is likely to make Baier less willing to keep inviting her to participate in his panels. That would be a shame for the viewing public, but everyone should be grateful to Ms. Hemingway for having the courage of her convictions and refusing to pretend not to know how to pronounce the word “Ciaramella.”

God bless her.

That is all.

How Does the Never-ending Coup d’etat End?

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

So, how does it all end? – Oh, we know how the Democrats’ “impeachment” circus is going to end – with a rejection of articles of impeachment in the U.S. Senate. They’ll get support from several disloyal RINOs, snakes like Mitt Romney and maybe one or two others to whom personal ambition and preservation of their slice of the DC Swamp gravy train outweighs standing up for the rule of law and the sanctity of America’s electoral process. But in the end, the senate will reject the Schiff/Pelosi impeachment effort – that much is a given.

No, what I’m talking about here, and what every loyal American needs to be thinking about as the never-ending coup d’etat approaches its third anniversary, is how does that all end? What is the ultimate end game there? The coup cabal leaders have now had 33 months of the Trump Administration to catch or entrap or frame President of the United States in the commissions of a crime – any old real, actual crime would do – and have come up miserable failures in that effort.

And their record of abject failure is even worse than that when one considers that the efforts to entrap or frame Donald Trump actually started way back in November 2015, when it became obvious he would win the GOP nomination, which means we are really right at the fourth anniversary of this ongoing bit of treasonous action. After those four long years, the coup cabal has come up with…bupkis. Zero. Zip. Zilch. A big ol’ bag of nothing.

So, how does this all end? Does it just keep on going for five more years, through the end of President Trump’s second term in office? Because a second Trump term is almost an inevitability at this point unless the coup cabal can find a way to get rid of him without an election. This impeachment farce ain’t gonna get it done.

The Democrats and their corrupt media toadies can pontificate all they want about impeachment being “a purely political thing,” but the American people are obviously unmoved by that false argument. The Constitution’s discussion of impeachment contains the specific words “high crimes and misdemeanors” for a reason, and the clear evidence of the peoples’ belief in that reason is that today, after hearing this false “it’s just politics” argument 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the last 2 months, the President’s public approval ratings stand exactly where they stood way back when all this began.

The evidence of just how miserably the coup cabal has failed in its efforts to move the nation’s opinion of the President was heard and seen loud and clear at Alabama’s Bryant Denny Stadium yesterday:

Yes, that’s real America, that vast middle 80% of the nation that lies between the regions occupied by the coastal elites. Real America is Trump Country, and those people will not peacefully tolerate the removal of this President from office by these illegitimate means.

So, if the people are unmoved by the farce, what happens next and how does this all end? Can the coup cabal really sustain this long-running fantasy play for nine long years? Are they really just planning to keep running through the same tiresome playbook over and over again until it somehow works? The word for that is insanity, and it is a very apt description of what they continue to put the nation through in their mad quest for power.

How does this all end? If the last 33 months have taught us nothing else, they have taught us that the federal administrative state is filled to the gills with disloyal Obama holdovers and career bureaucrats who are perfectly willing to subvert the Constitution and the electoral process in order to affect their own personal political agenda. The Alexander Vindmans and Eric Ciaramellas are not outliers at the National Security Council or the CIA – they’re closer to the norm, a norm that also exists within the bureaucracies of the State Department, the Department of the Interior, the EPA and most other bureaucracies of the federal government.

These people are like cancerous cells flowing through the vessels of the Trump Administration, doing everything they can each and every day to make it impossible for the President to govern as he was elected to do. This disloyalty, this active mendacity and seditious activity within the bureaucracy is not a “new” thing per se. President Reagan, and to a lesser extent, Bush 41 and Bush 43 had to deal with it, though at a far less intense level.

What’s different this time is scale of it, and its audacity. Before now, the Deep State had always lurked in the shadows, careful to hide its ambitions and activities. But now, we have the spectacle of it dressing itself up in fully military regalia – Vindman – in clear violation of the military code of conduct and having no one in the military chain of command utter a peep of objection or condemnation.

We have the lawyer for Ciaramella, the fake whistleblower who played the role of kicking off the whole impeachment farce, bragging about a coup and publicly recruiting other whistleblowers on his twitter feed. We have the leader of the impeachment farce, Adam Schiff, denying the GOP members of his committee the right to even ask questions of Ciaramella under the false argument that whistleblowers are guaranteed a right to remain anonymous. Completely false.

This is audacious. It’s right out in the open, and if you’re thinking the coup cabal will just fold up its collective tent and suddenly become loyal Americans again once their impeachment effort fails, you are living in an alternative reality. It should be obvious to everyone by now that that is just not going to happen.

So, what does the duly-elected President of the United States do once he is exonerated by the duly-elected U.S. Senate? To quote Ezekiel 25:17, he is “beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men,” to such an extent that it is now bordering on impacting not just the President’s security, but the security of this nation. Which of course is the goal of this cabal of evil, disloyal people.

How does this all end once the impeachment farce fails? How will the President deal with the skunks and snakes that Obama left embedded in the administrative state? He knows who many of them are by now, but federal employment laws make it almost impossible to get rid of them. He theoretically could issue an executive order declaring an emergency, suspending those laws and enabling his cabinet officials herd the snakes and skunks out of their ranks, but would they do it?

Would Christopher Wray take the opportunity to clean out his raging dumpster fire at the FBI? Would Gina Haspel use the chance to get rid of Ciaramella and his compatriots within her ranks at the CIA? And what about the Pentagon – the Vindman spectacle makes you wonder exactly where the loyalties at the Joint Chiefs of Staff lie at this point.

How does this all end? Or does it just keep going on and on and on until the Democrats and the corrupt news media and the deep state minions achieve their ultimate goal of taking the country into another Civil War?

Good question. I wish we knew the answer.

That is all.

Thanks, Democrats: Impeachment Gives us the Creepy Child Porn Lawyer

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

First, the Democrats and their corrupt media toadies gave us the Creepy Porn Lawyer; now, they give us the Creepy Child Porn Lawyer. – Mark Zaid, the lawyer for Eric Ciaramella, Adam Schiff’s fake whistleblower, is a very strange man. Since he decided to make himself a public figure last week in his illegitimate defense of his seditious client’s mythical “right to anonymity,” enterprising individuals have dug up all manner of really odd stuff about him, thanks to his habit of mouthing off on social media accounts at Twitter and Instagram.

Thanks to those efforts, we now know the following stuff about Mr. Zaid, some of which has already been reported at the Campaign Update:

He started bragging about his role in the ongoing coup d’etat effort just 10 days after Donald Trump was inaugurated to the Presidency;

He has used his social media accounts over the last three years to solicit fake “whistleblowers,” making him sort of a digital treasonous ambulance chaser;

He likes to visit DisneyWorld alone and take pictures of himself hanging out with all the cartoon characters and very young girls who play the princesses there;

He likes watching Disney Girl videos on his YouTube channel:

And, perhaps the coup de gras of his involvement in this whole coup d’etat, he actually put up this tweet in 2018:

So, he’s proud to have helped get pedophiles embedded within our federal bureaucracy, complete with security clearances.

There seem to be several patterns forming up here related to this guy, and none of them are pretty. Given this ugly portfolio, can there be any doubt at all that Mr. Zaid, esq. will end up with a very big contributor’s contract with CNN in the very near future?

You just can’t make these people up, folks. You really, truly can’t.

That is all.
