Liberals Who Broke Our Society Decry Our Broken Society. *sigh*

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Turns out liberals don’t like living by the new rules they’ve created.  Go figure. – After “Guardians of the Galaxy” Director James Gunn got dumped by Disney when it was revealed that he had issued a bunch of tweets that were at least seemingly pro-pedophilia when he first got onto Twitter 7-8 years ago, liberals all over social media wailed in protest, decrying the action.

Gunn himself claimed the tweets were all a “joke”, sort of like Roseanne Barr claimed her single seemingly racist tweet targeting Valerie Jarrett was a “mistake” about Jarrett’s country of birth.  You can believe both of them – I see no reason not to, really – but the truth no longer matters under the rules that lunatic liberals have created in our PC society.  There is no presumption of innocence anymore in the gang-dominated social media world, and though the left and the fake news media are in the early stages of attempting to “normalize” pedophilia (we see you, Netflix) in our society, they haven’t gotten there quite yet.

Thus, while a fake news host like MSNBC’s Joy Reid can survive the revelation that she is a homophobic bigot as long as her bosses stick to the fiction that she’s “a different person now”, a celebrity like Gunn can’t survive making “jokes” that seem to promote pedophilia.  Those are the rules that were invented by the lunatic left, and suddenly the lunatic left doesn’t like one of their own having to live under them.

One lefty, writing at Yahoo.com, complained thusly:  “It’s unclear what impact Gunn’s firing is going to have on Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 but it is clear that American society is broken and that the internet is a fetid cancer.”

Well, yes, and we all have your ideological ilk to thank for that sad reality.  Deal with it.

Speaking of our broken society, when exactly was it that the art of comedy died? – Detestable, unfunny comic Michelle Wolf issued what she somewhat questionably calls a “parody” video, in which she compares ICE to ISIS (They both start with an “I”, so they’re totally comparable, get it?  This is me, slapping my forehead.).

But hey, Michelle Wolf is exactly as funny as Whoopi Goldberg, so she’s got that going for her.

Somewhere, President Donald Trump is looking at this video and thinking “See, stuff like this is why I won.”

The Commies come to the heartland.  Hilarity ensues.  This is real comic gold. – Old Bolshevik Bernie Sanders and his 28 year-old kindred spirit, Democrat congressional nominee Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez made a trip out to Kansas to hold a rally in front of some facility packed with people who were probably paid to be there.  They were spreading their commie message of ‘free stuff for everybody until we run out of other people’s money’, i.e., “Socialism,” and also trying to prop up some fellow traveler named Brent Welder’s campaign for congress.

At one point Ms. Cortez, who has opened her mouth and proved she’s an idiot about 27 times over the few weeks since her own stunning primary win, did it again by urging the crowd to “turn this district Red!!!!”

Of course, red is the color the fake news media chooses to use to represent the Republicans, not the Democrats, on its political maps.  Oops.

But hey, give Cortez a break, because it was an honest mistake.  Commies have always been extremely fond of the color red:

Well, I nailed it again. – In yesterday’s Campaign Update, I told you the Democrat/Media axis of propaganda was about to change the subject again, drumming up some new scandal to keep their lunatic, ignorant voter base riled up.  The hysteria over Helsinki wasn’t working for them in the polls, so they would need something else to go hysterical about.

Presto change-o, by mid-afternoon, all the talking heads at CNN and MSNBC were once again talking about hookers and playmates thanks to leaks from the office of Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who the fake media assures us never leaks.  Can I call ’em, or what?

*sigh*

Just another day in Trump Derangement Syndrome America.

That is all.

Grassley Schedules Hearing; Horowitz Report About to Drop

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

This was inevitable. – Roseanne Barr self-destructed on Tuesday, sending out a racist tweet targeting Barack Obama’s loathsome toady Valerie Jarrett, which resulted in her show being cancelled by the end of the day by Disney’s CEO Bob Iger.  Some of you have inquired over the last several weeks about why I haven’t said much of anything about the great success of Roseanne’s TV show revival, in which her character is a fan of President Trump.  Now you know.

Look, I never cared for Roseanne Barr to begin with and pretty much never watched her show when it was in its first run.  I found her to be personally repugnant, none of the characters on the show to be especially appealing or sympathetic, and the show itself to be inappropriate for the kids.  Why would things be any different 25 years later?

Plus, Roseanne herself is crazy, and some episode in which she personally imploded was frankly inevitable.  No one should ever hang their hat on some nutty celebrity – the same goes for Kanye West, who has been famously complimentary of the President in recent weeks as well.  He’s also a nut, and a personal implosion is pretty much inevitably in his future as well.

And please don’t respond to this with all these moral equivalency statements.  Yes, I know all sorts of leftist celebrities and fake news media personalities have made all sorts of racist and homophobic statements and tweets, and none of them get fired.  I don’t care – it’s how the media/entertainment complex double standard works.  If celebrities like Barr and Kanye don’t like it and can’t control their mouths then they shouldn’t engage in it.

Roseanne needed firing – I dislike Disney as much as anyone, but Iger really had no choice in the matter.  And all the people out there in social media trying to mount a campaign to get Fox to pick up the show are idiots.  Neither Fox nor anyone else would touch Roseanne with a 100-foot pole right now.

Roseanne is done – her only choice now is to do a Mel Gibson, disappear for about 5 years, and hope everyone forgets.  Sadly for her, they won’t.

Expect the Horowitz Report later this week. – Why?  Because Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley took the action late yesterday to schedule a June 5 hearing of his committee to examine the findings in the DOJ Inespector General’s report on the department’s fake investigation into the Pantsuit Princess email scandal and other Clinton-related matters.  No called witnesses are listed on the notice, but we can assume Horowitz will be one of them.

This obviously means that Grassley expects the report to be made public prior to that time, which makes sense given that it has been circulating within DOJ for almost three weeks now.  We should probably expect to see it late Friday.

Just as a reminder, this report ostensibly deals only with the Fainting Felon’s email abuse and the Comey-led, rigged investigation conducted by the FBI and DOJ.  It will also cover other related matters, whatever they might be.  It is not supposed to touch on all the rampant FISA abuse, the Uranium One scandal, the “Crossfire Hurricane” effort to spy on the Trump campaign and transition team, the illegal unmaskings, and all the other Obama-era process abuses at DOJ, FBI and the CIA, among others.

Those myriad abuses by the Obama Administration will be addressed in a subsequent IG report, which will hopefully come before the end of the century.  Ok, just kidding – it’s supposed to come sometime this summer.

But here’s the thing about that subsequent report:  the content of the report we are about to see will give us a very usable preview of what to expect in the next report.  If this upcoming report from the IG is just an effort to whitewash the whole thing and give Comey/Strzok/Page/Ohr/Baker/Priestap and others at FBI and DOJ a pass, the we can expect the subsequent report to do the same, and quit worrying about it all.

But if this IG report on the email scandal is a hard-hitting, no-nonsense report of the sort Mr. Horowitz is famous for – and that his report on Andrew McCabe’s actions certainly was – then we can be optimistic that the final report will be of similar quality.

The anticipation of waiting for this IG report reminds me of what I wrote shortly after Comey made his famous speech on July 6 , 2016 exonerating the Pantsuit Princess at the conclusion of his rigged investigation:

The tragedy of James Comey is one of lost opportunity. He and he alone had a chance – possibly the last chance anyone will ever have if Hillary is elected in November – to demonstrate that one of the foundational principles of the American Experiment still applies.

That foundational principle is that we are a country in which all people are indeed created equal. That this is a country that has no ruling class. That this is a nation of laws, not of men, and that the laws that apply to the lowest among us apply equally to those who attain the highest public status.

James Comey alone could have become a true American hero by showing that this principle still applies in our society. Because he lacked either the character or the courage to do so, he demonstrated, perhaps irrevocably, that the opposite is now true in Barack Obama’s fundamentally transformed America. We do now have a ruling class; we are no longer a nation of laws, but a nation of men; the law truly does apply differently to different people depending entirely on their class and political power.

It’s a tragedy, plain and simple.  Nothing else matters or need be said.

Michael Horowitz now has the same opportunity that Comey had almost two years ago – he can be remembered either as the steadfast public servant who, like Admiral Mike Rogers and Representive Devin Nunes, did everything he could to save the Republic, or just another tragic functionary in a hopelessly-corrupted Department of Justice.

Let’s hope he makes the right choice.  I’m not even going to hazard a guess.

Just another day in Michael Horowitz is the man of the hour America.

That is all.

The Time Has Come to Get Disney Out of Our Schools

Today’s Campaign Update

  • This was inevitable – A mother in Northumberland Park, England has demanded that her local school system ban the book based on the Disney animated film Sleeping Beauty.  Why?  Well, because, she says, the scene in which the prince just gratuitously kisses the sleeping princess to wake her up promotes “inappropriate sexual behavior.”  I swear I don’t make this stuff up.
  • This woman is missing the point where Disney films are concerned, with her myopic focus on Sleeping Beauty.  It’s hard to think of a single one of them that does not contain inappropriate messages for children, and they all should have been piled up into the public square and burned long ago.
  • Take Snow White, for example.  This woman cohabited with not one, but SEVEN short, brawny men who were suspiciously whistling all the time.  What do you think those guys were so damn happy about, huh?
  • Then you have this Cinderella, who not only was not specifically invited to attend the Prince’s Ball, but first sought to do so in a dress she had cobbled together from scraps she had stolen from her two poor step-sisters.  Speaking of those step-sisters, why is it that, in any Disney film, any step-sisters or step-parents who appear as characters are always portrayed as ugly, grasping brutes?
  • Then there’s Bambi, a film in which skunks, deer, and rabbits all have names and talk to each other behind the humans’ backs, and which has given four generations of American children completely unrealistic notions about the nature of wild animals.  The people at PETA probably use this idiotic bit of Hollywood nonsense as a training manual.
  • Almost all Disney animated films feature an evil protagonist who is an older woman who has had an unhappy life, wears odd costumes and too much make-up, shrieks at inanimate objects and throws and breaks things in fits of rage.  This is stereotyping of the worst kind, not to mention age discrimination.  Think of how Hillary Clinton must feel whenever she watches Snow White.
  • When the bad people in Disney films aren’t portrayed as haggard, old unhappy women, they’re handicapped.  The bad guy in Peter Pan – the evil Captain Hook – is missing both a hand and a leg!  How is this guy supposed to compete with a little imp who can fly, for crying out loud?  And Peter Pan himself, why, he’s a kidnapper!  He not only kidnaps the Darling kids, he’s got a whole island filled with what he calls his ‘lost boys.’  It all sounds like the plot of some flick Harvey Weinstein would produce for Charlie Sheen and Kevin Spacey.
  • And what about all those live action Disney films from the mid-20th century, like Herbie, The Love Bug, Blackbeard’s Ghost and The Shaggy Dog?  In each and every one of those movies, the supposed ‘good guys’ cheat in order to win some sort of competition.  What kind of message is that to be sending our kids?  Cheating to win – can there be any doubt that everyone who has been in leadership of the Democrat Party in the last half-century has been a devoted fan of these films?
  • Plus, who could forget the heinous plots of That Darn Cat and The Parent Trap, in which scheming children conspire with cute pet cats and dogs to entangle unsuspecting adults into loving, traditional family relationships?  Why, the nerve of these kids to long for stable, two parent family units – that’s not what modern liberal life is supposed to be all about.
  • Yes, there is no doubt the time has come to ban not just Sleeping Beauty, but all Disney-related material from schools everywhere.  Had we taken this step 50 years ago, the world would no doubt be a much, much better place today.

Just another day in Stop This Madness, Please America.

That is all.
