The Week in Review: The Voting Will Continue Until The Democrats Have Their Wave

The Campaign Update Week in Review

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

There was an election on Tuesday, and about 95% of the country called it all good then.  All the votes that had been legally cast in this broad mass of the nation were legally counted by midnight, winners were declared and claimed their victories, losers conceded their losses, and all was right with the beacon of hope for the free world.

But then, there’s Arizona.  And Georgia.  And California.  And most egregious of all, there are Broward and Palm Beach Counties in Florida.

Unlike the rest of the country, the Democrat-controlled parts of these states don’t seem ever able to get their votes counted in an orderly and timely manner. Boxes filled with ballots of suspicious origin just keep on appearing seemingly out of the ether with no valid explanation for days, often weeks after the Tuesday on which the election supposedly and officially ended. Corrupt election officials in these areas just keep on counting votes in violation of the law and apparently toothless court orders as corrupt Democrat candidates and their press agents in the news media cheer them on.

Yes, the the same fake news media that has spent the last two full years now promoting the Democrat fantasy that the Russians stole the 2016 presidential election actively applauds the blatant efforts by Democrats to steal statewide elections in these pockets of the country. If you expected intellectual integrity from our nation’s dying journalism profession, you came to the wrong place.

All this post-election vote-finding and vote-counting has now grown the Democrats’ expected net gain in the U.S. House of Representatives from an estimated 30 seats to 40. In Arizona, the outcome of the race to replace Jeff Flake in the U.S. Senate has apparently been flipped, as have three congressional seats in California. In Georgia, boxes full of suspicious ballots just keep “appearing” out of thin air, and without exception they all heavily favor Democrat gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams. Go figure.

Meanwhile, in Florida, the outcome of the race for state Ag Commissioner was flipped from R to D when elections supervisors in Broward and Palm Beach suddenly “found” upwards of 100,000 mail-in ballots that they had not reported as a part of their tally on Election Day, as they are required by law to do. Thanks to the intervention of the courts, it appears the vote-stealing efforts there will ultimately fail to flip the outcomes of the U.S. Senate and governor’s races, but they were able to narrow the GOP candidates’ winning margins to final tallies  that are close enough to trigger automatic machine recounts.

When Americans went to bed late on Tuesday night, it seemed certain that the Republican majority in the Senate would be expanded to 55 seats. As they wake up on Sunday morning, it seems all but certain that the majority will actually end up being a much more tenuous 53 seats, thanks to the post-Election Day reversals in Arizona and in Montana.  This majority is now small enough to once again allow Republican squishes like Murkowski, Collins and a handful of others to effectively control the judicial confirmation process in the Senate.

There was a “blue wave” after all in these mid-term elections, but not on Election Day. It was instead a “wave” of post-election vote-counting that sealed the deal for the Democrats as our worthless news media sat by and cheered the fraud.  If this surprises you, you haven’t been paying close enough attention.

Let’s go to the rest of the Week in Review…

It was the week that an 85 year-old Supreme Court Justice fell and broke 3 ribs, prompting d-list actress Alyssa Milano to offer to donate both of her…wait for it….KIDNEYS to save Ruth Bader Ginsberg’s life. I swear I don’t make this stuff up.

It was the week that the fake news media, in coordination with the Democrat Party, dropped almost all of its previously-breathless, wall-to-wall coverage of the fake “migrant caravan” after Election Day, and took to social media to try to blame their failure to report the story on – you guessed it – President Donald Trump.  Because, of course they did.

It was the week that the fake mail bomber had his day in court and our fake news media studiously ignored the story. Shockingly, all the fake reporters did not take to social media to blame this particular failure to report on President Trump. Seems like a narrative glitch to me.

It was the week that every single candidate on whose behalf Barack Hussein Obama campaigned during the final week got beat.  Well, they all lost on Election Day, anyway – we’ll have to see how things ultimately turn out in Georgia and Florida to have a final verdict, as all the Obama-inspired community organizers do their best to keep finding and counting “votes”.

It was the week that preening CNN peacock Jim Acosta made an ass of himself in the President’s post-election press conference, assaulting a young, female White House intern in the process, and no one in the whole #MeToo movement came to the intern’s defense. Many of them in fact defended Acosta, who had his White House press badge revoked for his troubles, and has still not had it restored as of this writing.

It was the week that sad, declining comic Chelsea Handler decided that posting a semi-nude video of herself on social media would be a great way to encourage millions of Americans to go out and vote.  It wasn’t.

It was the week that Sleepy Jeff Sessions lost his job, about 12 hours after Election Day had ended. Now he can go back to Alabama and regain the U.S. Senate seat he surrendered in 2017 to take the Attorney General job, and President Trump can put someone in the AG’s job who really wants to do it.  A good and proper outcome all around.

It was the week that loser Beto O’Rourke finally stopped texting seemingly everyone in America for money, at least until January, when he will undoubtedly kick off his 2020 presidential campaign. If you think I’m kidding, well, get back to me in January and tell me how your texts are going.

It was the week that this happened:

It was also the week that this happened:

And finally, it was the week that this happened, and no one in our fake national news media uttered a peep of protest:

*sigh*

Just another week with about 800 different news cycles in America.

That is all.

The Campaign Update Election Results Live Blog [Update 9]

The Campaign Update Election Results Live Blog

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Ok, folks, here we go.

Unlike I did this afternoon, I am going to run the Updates down the page, to keep them from getting mixed up with all the adds.  I will note each update with a number in the title, i.e., I will add “Update 1” to the title with the first update, “Update 2” with the 2nd, etc., so you’ll be able to easily know when something new is there.  I’ll also send out a tweet for those who follow on Twitter.

PLEASE COMMENT – I will be following your comments and responding to as many as I can.

What to look for early:

Kentucky HD 6 and Georgia HD 6 – if the Rs are leading in both these GOP-held districts when the polls close at 7:00 ET, it’s cause for celebration.  If the Ds are ahead, not so much.  Unless you’re a Democrat, of course.

Trump won both of these districts easily in 2016, but the Democrats have spent tons of money trying to turn them both.

Also, keep an eye on Republican incumbent Dave Brat in Virginia’s 7th district.  That’s another the Ds are hoping to turn tonight.

If the Ds are winning in all of these districts, then their probability of taking the House becomes near-certain.  If they are losing them all, then we’re going to have a late night, perhaps early morning before we know where things are going.

Indiana Senate – We will also be seeing first numbers in this race at 7:00 ET, 6:00 CT.  It’s a big one, though not needed for the GOP to retain control in the Senate.  CNN’s already reporting what is most likely the absentee ballots, and Republican Braun is up big over Democrat incumbent Donnelly, but the Rs always lead in the absentee votes in Indiana.

We’ll see.

Back shortly.

UPDATE 9:  DeSantis and Scott are now likely to both win in Florida.  What an amazing turnaround.

Braun has won Indiana.

Blackburn has won Tennessee.

Manchin has won WVA.

Kramer will win North Dakota.

John James is competing strongly in Michigan.

Cruz is 100k votes down but there are still over 100 rural counties who have not reported any votes at all to this point.  Karl Rove says Cruz will win in the end because of that.  I think Rove is right.

Right now, the Ds lead in 31 Red districts, the Rs lead in 5 Blue districts, and Fox News is now projecting the Democrats will gain a majority at the end of the evening.

We’ll see.  I’m not convinced yet.

UPDATE 8:  Barr has won KY 6.  Brat is barely behind know in VY 7.  If Brat can come back, that would be huge.  Still a big fat ZERO votes counted in GA 6.

Both Republicans are still holding on in Florida’s statewide races with 96% of the vote counted, and it appears that the votes still outstanding are pretty evenly split between R and D areas of the state.  Holy cow.

Cruz still a little behind in Texas, but most rural areas are still yet to report.

In Tennessee, the senate race is not close at this point, but will tighten as the night goes along.  But I think Blackburn wins that one.  [Fox just called it for Marsha!]

DeWine now in the lead in the Ohio governor’s race!

Braun still killing it in Indiana!

Kramer’s going to kill Heitcamp!

John James actually leading in the early Michigan returns.

This night is shaping up nicely, folks.  Keep the faith.

UPDATE 7:  I continue to be struck how much tonight is like 2016, especially in Florida statewide races.  Here we sit again with 93% of the votes counted, and the races are too close to call.  In 2016, everyone assumed all the outstanding votes were in the Miami/Broward area and Trump would lose.  But it turned out that there were still a bunch of votes sitting uncounted in GOP areas, and in a bunch of GOP-leaning precincts in South Florida.  Trump wins.

Cruz finally takes the lead in Texas, as the early vote returns start to finally come in from rural areas.  He will continue to build that lead as the night goes on.

Right now, I have to say that things are stacking up pretty nicely for the Rs.  Keep your fingers crossed.

UPDATE 6:  Ok, things are starting to shape up now:

– Cruz is going to win by 8-10 points, based on what we are seeing early.  Cool.

– Both DeSantis and Scott have now moved into leads in their races.  But most of the outstanding votes are in Miami/Broward area.  You have to think the Ds will win, but we thought the same in the 2016 presidential race, too.

– Barr is building his lead in KY 6.

– Bratt is holding on in VA 7.  Most remaining votes are in R areas.

– Braun still killing it in Indiana.

– Still not a damn vote in in GA 6.  Unreal.

– Despicable Donna Shalala has won FL 27, a Democrat pickup.  Ugh.

UPDATE 5:  Barr now dead even in KY 6, Brat has fallen behind, though just by a couple thousand votes.  Still nothing on GA 6.  What the hell?

Oops, Barr took the lead with 77% of the vote counted just as I hit “enter” on this update.

DeSantis now within 1.2%, Scott within 1.4% in Florida, as the Panhandle votes finally start coming in.  Still lots of votes outstanding in Miami/Dade, though, too, though.  No way to call those races yet.

Again, it’s 2016 all over again down there.

Braun retaining a strong lead on Donnelly, but he needs it for when Indiana’s larger cities start reporting votes later tonight.

Irish Bob O’Rourke is up early over Ted Cruz, but it’s just Dallas turning in its early vote totals.  No worries, yet.

UPDATE 4:  Brat now moving out to a significant lead in VA7.  Barr has pulled within .3% in KY 6, still tons of votes to be counted.

The FL Gov and Sen races are tightening with every update.  Nelson had led by as much as 6% but now up by 2.  Gillum up by just 1.6.

Nothing in from GA 6 yet, unfortunately.

This feels an awful lot like 2016, doesn’t it?  Yes, it does.

UPDATE 3:  Brat now actually looking ok in early returns, which are most likely from urban areas.  He’ll be stronger in the suburbs and rural areas.

Braun running much stronger against Donnelly right now in rural areas than expected.  Well ahead of pace so far.

Can’t help noticing that CNN goes to their black anchor person every time there’s an update to be given on the Florida and Georgia governor’s races, both of which feature black candidates for the Ds.  So damn ridiculous.

The encouraging thing about Florida right now is that, even though the Rs trail in the Gov and Sen races, votes are already coming in from Miami/Dade County, which is unusual.

In KY 6, D McGrath is now well ahead of R Barr.  Ugh.  Still early, though, and don’t know where the votes are from yet.

UPDATE 2:  Ok, it’s time to say it:  CNN just kicks Fox’s ass on these election night events.  Fox just has a bunch of people sitting around pontificating while CNN is giving us every detail in every county in every state.  I normally never tune in to CNN, but on election nights, man, there’s really no choice here.

UPDATE 1:  Bill Nelson is underperforming his 2012 re-election in Florida so far, by about 5%.  That was a very close race, so that again bodes well for the GOP in the Sunshine State.  Most vote in so far are from heavily-Democrat Pinellas County.

That is all.

The Week in Review: No “Blue Wave” Coming

The Campaign Update Week in Review

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

There is no “Blue Wave” coming, anywhere in America.  No Dodger Blue, no Dallas Cowboys Blue, no Democrat Blue, no blue wave of any kind.  Trust me, folks, it ain’t happening, and it never was.

My goodness.  As I sit here typing this Week in Review this morning, Fox News is interviewing one of the guys in the fake “migrant caravan” down in Mexico.  This guy is an admitted convicted felon, for the crime of attempted murder, and he’s already been deported once.  He’s embedded with this obviously-staged political stunt group, and is telling Fox he expects to apply for a “pardon” when he gets back to America.

*sigh*

What do you even say about that?  If you’re a Democrat, I suppose you say hey, that guy right there is a potential future voter so we need to get his butt back into the good ol’ U.S.A.!  Because that is the essence of Democrat political thought in 2018.

Donald Trump is a man who has Jewish grandchildren.  His son-in-law, Jared Kushner, is a Jewish man and his daughter Ivanka converted to the Jewish faith when the two were married.  Yet today, on all the Sunday morning talk shows, you are going to hear every Democrat talking head blame President Trump for the atrocity that was committed by a deranged, Trump-hating anti-Semite at a synagogue in Pittsburgh, where a Jewish family was celebrating a bris for their child.

Eleven people died there, and four law enforcement officers were injured before the this latest lunatic was finally subdued and taken into custody. It is an unimaginable tragedy, one to which any normal person’s natural reaction is to mourn the loss of precious lives and praise the work of the first responders in Pittsburgh’s law enforcement community.

But not to Democrats.  Democrats’ knee-jerk reaction is to point fingers of blame at political enemies and anyone else they hate – which is an awful lot of people – and rail about the need to take away everyone’s guns.  Because they’re Democrats.  That’s what they do.

With this latest nutjob, the Democrats and their fake media toadies have a real problem.  They’ve spent the last three-plus years pushing their “Trump is Hitler” narrative, yet this guy is a self-described Nazi who hates Trump because “he is controlled by the Jews.”  Ooops.  That just won’t sell well on “Meet the Press” with Chuck Todd or “Sunday Morning” with George Clintonopoulous, so they’re all busily getting their joint talking points in order as I write this piece this morning.

The new narrative will be rolled out later today, and we will all marvel at its lack of any factual merit whatsoever.  So, it’ll be just like all the other narratives the Democrats/fake media have rolled out this week.

Let’s go to the Week in Review:

It was the week that the “President Trump is responsible for the Saudis butchering this Khashoggi guy” narrative crashed and burned because most Americans understand that the Saudi government does worse than that to its citizens on pretty much a daily basis and no one at CNN or the New York Times cares.

It was the week that the obviously-staged “feel sorry for the fake migrant caravan, you heartless Americans” narrative failed because, to most Americans, a growing group of 7,000 people, the vast majority of whom appear to be military-aged males, looks suspiciously like an invasion.

It was the week that the “caravan migrants”, who our fake news media keeps telling us are just a bunch of poor, down-trodden “asylum seekers” turned down an offer of absolute asylum, including healthcare, housing, jobs and food, when it was offered to them by the government of Mexico. Of course they did, because they’re not being paid to stop in Mexico – they’re being paid to get to the American border.

It was the week that a nut in Florida was arrested for “mailing” “bombs” to a bunch of high-profile Democrats, and the fake news media jumped for joy when they found out the guy was apparently, at least, a fan of President Trump.  The only problem with this narrative is that some of the “bombs” weren’t mailed at all, given that the packaging they were supposedly sent in contained no postmarks, and that they weren’t “bombs” at all.  Other than that, great story, guys.  Trust me, there is something more here that has yet to be revealed.

It was the week that the news media swore to us that a mail-bombing nutjob who is half-Filipino and half-Seminole Indian is “white.”  Because that would best fit the media’s narrative, so he must be.

It was the week that soul-crushing dread began to creep into the hearts of leading Democrats (that’s assuming that ghouls like Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer actually have hearts and souls) as early voting numbers from key states like Florida, Arizona, Nevada, Indiana, Tennessee and Texas began coming in unexpectedly (to the Democrats, anyway) favoring the GOP.  So much for the polls.

It was the week that Dodgers Manager Dave Roberts made no less than five indefensible pitching moves in a span of just 2 innings of a single World Series game, marking the 2nd straight year that Roberts had changed the entire direction of a World Series against his own team with horrible pitching decisions.  Roberts was so indescribably awful on Saturday night that he became the first manager in Major League Baseball history to be panned by a President of the United States on social media:

It’s almost enough to make you want to become a Giants fan.  But not quite.  Nothing is ever bad enough for that.

It was the week that America’s Biggest Mistake, Barack Hussein Obama, said the following:  “It shouldn’t be Democratic or Republican to say you don’t try to punish political opponents. Or threaten the freedom of the press just because you don’t like what they say.”  This is the very same Barack Hussein Obama who famously had his FBI bug the computers and illegally search the homes of journalists who were critical of him, and sicced his IRS on opposition political groups.  The very same guy.

It was the week that we found out that NBC had evidence in-hand that would have cleared Brett Kavanaugh from the outrageous “gang-rape” charges while his confirmation process was still ongoing, but decided not to report on said evidence.

It was the week that Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley issued not one, but two criminal referral letters to the Justice Department targeting the Creepy Porn Lawyer and his scurrilous nutjob client, Julie Swetnick.

It was the week that Chris Wallace took that preening peacock Shepard Smith to the woodshed, and it was glorious:

It was the week that overrated and overpaid Megyn Kelly finally got canned by the woman-abusing thugs who run NBC. No one should spend a moment of time feeling sorry for anyone on either side of this particular dust up.

Finally, it was the week that a leader in the Texas Democratic Party was arrested for running a voter fraud ring, and nobody in Texas or anywhere else was surprised in any way, shape or form.  Because that’s what Democrats do.

It was quite a week, a week in which the Democrat/media desperation became so palpable you could cut it with a knife.  There is no “blue wave” coming, and there never was.

That is all.

I Am Shocked – Shocked! – To Learn of Democrat Voter Fraud Happening in Texas!

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Texas Democrats everywhere are wondering why this is a problem as they write down names off of tombstones to get them registered, too.  – The Texas Democrat Party has allegedly been sending out voter registration cards to illegal immigrants with the citizenship box already checked “yes”, according to multiple complaints filed with the Texas Secretary of State’s office.

Even better, according to the report in the Washington Times, “The applications were pre-addressed to elections officials, which is likely what left many voters to believe they were receiving an official communication from the state.  But the return address was from the State Democratic Executive Committee, and listed an address in Austin that matches the state Democratic Party’s headquarters.”

Anyone who thinks this is anything unusual in Texas has never lived in Texas.  Were it not for this kind of Democrat-organized voter fraud effort, Lyndon Johnson would have never been anything more than a teacher at some backwater school in the Texas Hill Country.

And hey, it’s not limited to illegal aliens in the state – it’s a Democrat tradition to go after all the dead voters, too, because, after all, there are no dead Republicans in Texas.  “Sam Taylor, spokesman for Texas’s secretary of state, said they heard from people whose relatives were receiving mail despite having passed away 10 years ago or longer. One woman said her child, who’d been dead 19 years, got a mailing asking to register.”

Texas Governor Greg Abbott said he would order an investigation, and “If true there will be serious consequences,” but Texans have heard such promises from Texas governors going all the way back to the 1948 senate race between LBJ and Coke Stevenson and the infamous “Box 13” incident, and seldom seen any real results.  This is just what Democrats do down here – they believe they’re entitled.

Speaking of entitled Democrats… – Irish Bob O’Rourke was given an hour of free air time by CNN last night, because with CNN’s ratings, all the air time might as well be free these days. More people were watching re-runs of SpongeBob SquarePants than tuned into see the fawning CNN fake journalists pepper Irish Bob with Nerf ball questions like “Why are you so darn handsome?”, and “We know you aren’t really Hispanic, but you would be if you could, right?”  Ok, I just made those up, but the actual questions weren’t any harder.

Next Monday, President Trump will be in Houston doing a rally for Ted Cruz.  That’ll be shown on Fox News, where a 300% larger audience tunes in each night.

You do have to give Irish Bob credit, though: He has the most tireless fundraising machine ever seen in Texas politics.  My poor little wifey received no fewer than six fundraising calls from his campaign yesterday alone, every one of them from a different number.  They quit calling me a month ago after I told one of them to “kiss my a**”.

This guy has raised more than $60 million in a Texas senate race, where winning candidates of the past have spent less than $20 million, and he still wants more.  No wonder all those other losing Democrat senate candidates are angry at him for refusing to share the wealth a little bit.  After all, the Democrats are openly admitting they are the Socialist party now after decades of pretending not to be, so a little redistribution of the wealth and control of the means of production seems to be in order here. But Irish Bob is having none of it – the money is his, all his.

He’s entitled.

But…but…but…we have been assured by our fake news media that this is not happening! – The Associated Press, believe it or not, is actually reporting on the fact that a South African city is openly seizing land from private landowners with zero compensation in what is being called a “national test case” for adopting land seizures as a formal national policy.

The city council of Ekurhuleni – which, with 4 million people is the size of Houston – voted to move ahead with the stealing of hundreds of acres of land without compensating the landowners in what the AP refers to as a “legal tool that the ruling African National Congress says is necessary to correct the historic injustices of apartheid and distribute land more equitably.”

In other words, the landowners are white, and those seizing the land are black, which is why our fake news media has refused to cover the story.  This has in fact been going on for years in more rural areas of the country, with many landowners being murdered in the process, but suddenly the AP wakes up and decides, I guess, that because it is happening in one of South Africa’s larger cities, it is worth covering.

Journalism is truly a dead profession in this country.

That is all.

The Democrat Party is a Mob, Nothing More

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

This is just how the fake news media op…ok, well, as I was saying…yes, of course but…oh, nevermind. – In a 26 minute interview on 60 Minutes last night, fake journalist Leslie Stahl interrupted the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, 64 times.  In an interview with Barack Obama on 60 Minutes several years ago, he was interrupted 4 times.

But there is no bias at CBS News.  Just ask them, they’ll tell you.  And when you start to object, they’ll interrupt you.

Another Democrat-run city, another abject failure by law enforcement. – When the history books are written about why the United States descended into chaos, honest historians will write their opening chapters about the failure of law enforcement officials to do their jobs in Democrat-run cities around the country.  Chapter 1 would have to be about Berkeley, California, but chapter 2 would have to be centered on Portland, Oregon.

There on Saturday, a peaceful demonstration by the right-wing group called “Patriots Prayer” was set upon by a bunch of black-clad Antifa rioters, and a huge melee ensued on the downtown streets of the city.  Police stood by and watched for a few minutes as the Antifa thugs armed with bear spray and batons went after it with the Patriots Prayer people before finally jumping in to break up the city’s latest riot.

Get this: NO ARRESTS WERE MADE.  None.  Not one.  No left-wingers, no right-wingers, nobody went to jail.

This event comes just days after Antifa thugs were filmed being left unmolested by the city police as they harassed and assaulted pedestrians and car drivers in one downtown neighborhood of the city.  After that disgusting incident, Democrat Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler, who ironically doubles as the city’s “Police Commissioner,” said that “motorists should feel completely safe coming into downtown Portland.”  No word if he also thinks people should feel perfectly safe in pits of rattlesnakes, but it seems likely.

On Saturday, the Patriots Prayer group had a lawful permit to conducted its demonstration.  As has become typical of such confrontations in Democrat-run cities around the country, the Antifa group did not.  But again, the police just stood by and watched as the Antifa thugs assembled and started their assault, and then made no arrests.  None.

The Democrat party is a mob.  Nothing more.

Because the demonization of white men was becoming so last year… – Never let it be said that The Campaign Update fails to keep you abreast of the latest political correctness news.  Staying “woke” is not easy these days, since the whims of social justice warriors, campus snowflakes and the university professors who brainwash them all on a daily basis can shift on a dime, but we do our best.

Here’s the latest from the “woke” front:

Out:  White men are the problem with, like, you know, everything and stuff.

In:  White women are so all, like, the problem with all the, you know, stuff or something that, like, white men aren’t causing, you know?  Seriously?

Yes, all you white guys out there, you’re getting a bit of a break while all the SJWs and snowflakes and sharia law-supporting “Women’s Marchers” go after your WAGs (that is “wives and girlfriends” in wokespeak).  Kyle Smith, writing at the National Review, does a really good job of giving us some of the highlights of the new movement to demonize white women today:

Today, white women are being lumped together into a giant bloc subject to absurdly broad stereotyping and vitriolic condemnation. They’re being told to step back and know their place by writers in the New York Times (“white women benefit from patriarchy by trading on their whiteness to monopolize resources for mutual gain”), The New Yorker (“despite the enduring legacy of testimony by black women, white women have often played the protagonists in the history of sexual violence, and black women have been relegated to the supporting cast”) and NBC News (“white women who voted for Trump . . . clearly have no issue with the president’s openly misogynistic behavior, his demeaning of female reporters and his mocking of [Christine Blasey] Ford”).

A writer for The Root castigated Taylor Swift because “like some white women, she uses her privilege to not be involved until she’s directly affected.” Talia Lavin, the New Yorker fact-checker who resigned in June after erroneously suggesting that an ICE agent (who turned out to be a combat-wounded Marine Corps veteran) had a Nazi tattoo, continues to contribute to The New Yorker and tells her 51,000 Twitter followers, “patriarchy won’t protect you no matter how hard white women fight for it.” “White women use strategic tears to silence women of colour,” ran a headline in the Guardian. On the basis of five phone calls, plus the story of what happened to Emmett Till in 1955, Rolling Stone published an essay entitled, “Why White Women Keep Calling the Police on Black People,” blaming them for “a new 21st century version of Jim Crow.”

It goes on and on, and is well worth your time to click over and read in full, which is a rare thing at the National Review these days.

So all you white guys out there who have been getting blamed for literally everything from global warming to the heartbreak of psoriasis to the Cowboys being such a lousy football team for the past 20 years (hey, Jerry Jones is a white guy, after all), sit back, have a beer and let your lawn grow as your wives, girlfriends and daughters have their reputations slandered by our fake news media for awhile.  But don’t get too complacent – all the SJWs and snowflakes will be coming back sooner or later to blame you for all their problems, because, well, they have to blame someone other than themselves, because the alternative would be taking responsibility for their own actions.

You know that isn’t in the cards.

[Update] The President tweeted this shortly after Today’s Campaign Update went live:

As I’ve repeatedly noted, President Trump doesn’t just tweet this stuff out for no reason.  We should all note that he sees all the GOP internal polling – and probably much of the Democrat internal polling – coming in from all over the country, so he knows how voter attitudes are shifting in the wake of the Kavanaugh smear.

It’s also important to note that it generally takes 10 days to 2 weeks for shifts due to major events like the Kavanaugh smear to fully show up in the polling data, so we will start seeing its full impact this week.  If, as the President says, something big is happening, even the fake polls from places like ABC and CNN will start showing it soon.

WATCH.

That is all.

Trump Disrupts Democrat War on U.S. Workers With New NAFTA Deal

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Hey, remember when all the “experts” were telling you that President Donald Trump could not possibly successfully renegotiate the 25 year-old NAFTA deal? – Yeah, they were wrong about that, too.

The new name’s a little clumsy, but the deal is done, and the deal is much, much better for America’s workers, especially those in blue collar, farming and union jobs.  Hey, remember when those were the kind of jobs the Democrat Party used to at least pretend to care about?  Yeah, good times…

Today, as you absorb the no-doubt slanted news about this new trade agreement, remember that the very same “experts” who told you this could not be done are also telling you that Donald Trump will never, never, never, ever be able to really get the Crazy Little Fat Guy in North Korea to de-nuclearize the Korean Peninsula.  Do not be surprised when the successful completion of that effort is a major plank in Trump’s re-election campaign in 2020.

The Teenage Drama Queen gets a by-line in the New York Times, and boy is it a hoot. – Former FBI Director and current teenage drama queen James Comey penned an op/ed for the sad old New York Times on Sunday, because of course he did.  The most corrupt director the agency has ever had slammed the mounting of this week-long FBI investigation into all the absurd accusations directed at Judge Brett Kavanaugh, not be cause the charges are so obviously false, not because the Judge has already been the subject of 6 previous in-depth, open-ended FBI background checks, but because…wait for it…you can’t “put a shot clock” on an FBI investigation.

In other words, the very same corrupt, pathological liar who twice put a strict shot clock on the agency’s sham “investigation” into Hillary Clinton’s illegal email server has of course joined the Democrat chorus against the week-long time frame for this investigation that the Democrats agreed to just 3 days ago.  There are perfectly descriptive words for James Comey, but I just can’t use them here.

Sunday’s @GDBlackmon Twitter Deep Thought…

Hey, you know it’s true.

Meanwhile, in the Texas Senate Race… – Last Thursday, when it looked like the Senate would be held into session over the weekend to deal with the Kavanaugh nomination, Ted Cruz informed Irish Bob O’Rourke that he would not be able to make it to Houston for their scheduled debate early Sunday evening.  On Saturday morning, Cruz notified Irish Bob that he could in fact make it to Houston thanks to the idiotic machinations of Arizona Senator Jeff Flake, but Irish Bob declined, saying he now had made other “plans.”

So, what was Irish Bob doing at the very time the debate was supposed to be taking place?  Why, he was engaged in an hour-long Facebook Live session from his kitchen.

Obviously, Irish Bob still hasn’t figured out how he’s going to backtrack from his false denial of leaving the scene of the wreck he caused while driving drunk back in the 1990s.  Until he does, we probably won’t be seeing any more debates between the two Texas senate candidates.

Back to the Kavanaugh nomination process one more time. – So, the Democrat playbook for this week is now clear…

  • Agree to a limited FBI investigation to last no more than one week;
  • Spend the weekend wailing that the investigation is tooooooooooo liiiiiiiiimmmmittttteeeeeddddd!!!;
  • Find male “acquaintances” of Judge Kavanaugh from high school and college to tell Democrat media activists that the Judge, when a teenager, was a sloppy drunk;
  • Pretend it’s a really big deal that the FBI is questioning the second, obviously lying, female accuser;
  • Have the Dragon Lady from Hawaii all over TV claiming that the investigation is “falling apart” before it even gets started in earnest;
  • And then, late in the week – probably Wednesday night or sometime Thursday – have another female accuser crawl out of the woodwork with more false allegations; or
  • Maybe even have some leftwing activist parent of one of the kids Kavanaugh has coached in basketball over the years appear on CNN or MSNBC and accuse him of being a pedophile.

Or maybe both new accusations will come.  Remember that the Democrats’ favorite Saul Alinskly tactic is “projection,” i.e., accusing the Republicans of the exact behaviors of which they themselves are guilty.  Thus, accusations of pedophilia are pretty much inevitable, and indeed the leftists at USA Today already ran an op/ed implying that of Kavanaugh as an initial shot across the bow.

These people are demented, depraved and despicable, and nothing is beneath them.  To them, this is a war, literally.  It is a war not just on Judge Kavanaugh, not just on President Trump, not just on Republicans, but on all Americans who are not part of one of their aggrieved classes.  Frankly, it has even become a war on many of them – witness the bullying and booing of Kanye West that took place during his appearance on Saturday Night Live this past weekend.

This is not your father’s Democrat Party.  There are no moderates in that party anymore, no Scoop Jackson Democrats or even Lloyd Benson Democrats.  It is only possible to see their true nature with clear eyes when you accept the reality that there simply are no more decent people in the national Democrat Party today.  Not one.

These people are all about one thing:  The re-acquisition of power.  They will do literally anything to achieve that goal.  So buckle up, and don’t be surprised by the depravity to come this week.

That is all.

Our Fake News Media – The Willing Enablers of Democrat Depravity

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Another Trump tour de force. – One day after giving possibly the greatest pro-America speech ever delivered by any U.S. representative at the United Nations General Assembly, President Donald Trump (I still never tire of typing those three words) conducted one of the most amazing, wide-ranging press conferences ever conducted by a president in an international setting.  It was filled with humor, biting commentary on current events, amazing new nuggets of information (such as the President’s preference that oily Rod Rosenstein stay on the job at least for now) and even another humiliation of CNN’s pathetic, preening peacock Jim Acosta.

Some of the best highlights of the press conference can be found here.  You can no doubt watch it in its entirety at any of a dozen places – just Google it.

The humorless fake news media naturally blasted and intentionally mis-reported the presser, just as they had blasted and mis-reported the President’s speech.  Which is what the fake news media does in this country.

The takeaway, though, is this:  President Trump should be doing these press conferences far more often.  He is far and away his own most effective spokesman, and he needs to stop allowing his communications advisors to bottle him up.  He should hold a presser just like he did yesterday every Friday afternoon and let it dominate the news cycle for every weekend.  It is maddening that he continues to take such bad communications advice from his team.

The Creepy Porn Lawyer takes things a step too far. – Here’s what I wrote on my Facebook page yesterday, shortly after the Creepy Porn Lawyer had made his latest outrageous effort to attract attention by exploiting another woman:

I gotta tell ya, I’m beginning to think the Creepy Porn Lawyer is actually a Trump plant.

I think this latest stunt is going to completely backfire on the Democrats. I think it is so outrageously unbelievable that it is going to infuriate millions of ordinary Americans who might have to this point been on the fence about the nomination.

Think about it: Brett Kavanaugh has been subjected to SIX FBI BACKGROUND CHECKS. These things are like full-fledged anal examinations in which every aspect of your life is looked at, all the way back to your birth. Every friend and acquaintance you have ever had is contacted by the FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION and asked about your character.

So now we are expected to believe that, during the course of SIX of these intrusive investigations, the FBI failed to come across a shred of information from any of the hundreds of people they spoke with about a drugging, rape-train operation that Kavanaugh and several friends operated for more than TWO YEARS?

I have never been more disgusted in my life about anything outside of my own personal behavior than I am right now. I swear, if I was in the same room as Avenatti today, one of us would not leave it alive.

This is vile, demented and just plain evil.

[End]

Here’s a personal incident that illustrates just how utterly ridiculous this woman’s claim truly is:  In the summer of 1974, a friend and I got the big idea to imitate the streaker who ran behind David Niven at that year’s Academy Awards show by streaking through the parking lot at a local Circle K food store where our high school friends liked to gather on Friday evenings.

Within about 30 seconds of our little frolic across the asphalt, a call from a horrified fellow high school student had gone into the local police department, and my pal and I were arrested a few hours later.  That’s how socially unacceptable doing such a thing was in a small town in America at that time.

But the Creepy Porn Lawyer wants you all to believe that our Supreme Court Nominee spent no fewer than two solid years running a punch-spiking, girl-drugging, rape-train party ring in a small town among the students at a high school with a total enrollment of about 400, and nobody called the police, everybody – even the victims – kept it all a big secret, and no one said a word about any of it until 37 years later.  If you are dumb enough to believe any of that, please seek help.

Because, after all, this…is CNN. – Some anonymous guy “came forward” yesterday afternoon to accuse Judge Kavanaugh of raping an unidentified woman on a boat in 1995.  When it was within an hour revealed that this guy was a nutjob who has made violent threats against President Trump, he withdrew his accusation.  Naturally, many hours later, CNN still has an uncorrected report up on its website claiming this clown’s accusation represents a fourth accuser.  What else would we expect?

The Fake News Media – depravity’s willing facilitators. – That brings me around to the actual point I want to make in this long and winding piece, which is that the Democrats feel free to engage in the vile, evil, demented behaviors in which they have engaged related to this nomination (and everything else for that matter) because they know they will never be held accountable for doing so by our fake news media.

While most of us – me included – have expressed our disgust over what we have witnessed during the confirmation process by targeting the Democrats who have organized and paid for all of it, that is really missing the point to some extent.  Because the root of the problem here is that our country no longer has a legitimate, functioning fourth estate.

The freedom of the press guaranteed in the first amendment to the Constitution was placed there because the founders of this country knew it was critical to have a free press that would hold those in power accountable for their bad actions.  The history of mankind that had gone before the founding of our country clearly told them that, where no such accountability exists, political organizations would almost without exception resort to destructive behavior in the pursuit of political power.

In our society, the role of the free press is supposed to be to serve as that watchdog, that entity that will inform the public whenever the members of either major party engage in behavior that is destructive to the foundations of our republic.  Sadly, in recent years, our major media outlets have completely abandoned that role in the name of the pursuit of their demented view of what constitutes “social justice.”  The belief that conservatism and capitalism are evil is ingrained into their tiny minds by the leftist professors who dominate our nation’s college campuses, and that belief system colors everything they do once they are on the job.

The result is that our major media organizations, with only a handful of exceptions, now perform as nothing more than propaganda outlets for the Democrat Party, and more specifically for its increasingly radicalized voter base.  The consequence of that is what we have witnessed on our television screens for the past two years, as the Democrat Party funds and coordinates the rising level of leftist violence on our streets, and mounts the disgraceful political circus designed to destroy not just the reputation of Judge Kavanaugh, but his family and his life as well.

For all you Millennials, there is this great book called “Animal Farm” that your parents and grandparents were forced to read when they were in high school.  That book perfectly describes how a society degenerates into absolute chaos when there is no societal mechanism for holding those in power accountable for their bad actions.  You should go out to Amazon and pay a few bucks to read it, because it perfectly describes what is happening in our society today, thanks to the Democrats and their willing enablers in our national fake news media.

That is all.

The Campaign Update Week in Review: The Democrats’ Mask Comes Off

The Evening Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Man, what a week this was.  The circus in Washington, DC reached an even higher fever-pitch than normal as the Democrat Party continues its efforts to literally destroy our nation from the inside out.

It was the week that the funeral of one of the biggest film box office stars of all-time, Burt Reynolds, received almost no notice at all from a fake news media that remains laser-focused on carrying out the orders of its Democrat benefactors.

It was a week in which the public got even more proof of the fact that a deep state cabal of DOJ/FBI Obama-era honchos tried to fix the 2016 election and then bring down a duly-elected president. As if we needed any more proof, that is.

It was the week in which President Trump finally moved to begin forcing the declassification of a raft of documents related to the deep state cabal’s activities, documents that various congressional committees have been trying to obtain for over a year.

Oh, but that’s not all that happened, not even close.  Here’s a bunch more stuff, starting with a parade of Democrat mendacity that exceeded even the Clarence Thomas hearings…

  • The Democrats told us we simply MUST “believe the woman” in the case against Brett Kavanaugh, a case in which the woman accuser has zero corroborating evidence and is, frankly, transparently lying.
  • Those same Democrats told us we simply MUST ignore the woman in the case against DNC Vice Chairman Keith Ellison, a case in which the accusing woman has all sorts of corroborating evidence because, well, Ellison’s a Democrat, so…
  • Those same Democrats also told us we simply MUST look the other way at Cory “I am Spartacus” Booker’s admission to groping a young girl at a party when he was in high school, even though he admitted it in a printed newspaper column that he himself wrote, because, um, well, you know, like, ummmm…he’s a Democrat, so…
  • Basically, by the end of the week, it had become obvious to pretty much everyone with firing brain synapses that the Democrats, as a Party, now actively oppose the Constitutional principle of a defendant’s presumption of innocence, if that defendant is a male Republican.  While many of us have recognized that reality for many years, that realization came as a real shock to many others.
  • Boy, just wait til all those people finally figure out that, as a Party, the Democrats are in fact opposed to the Constitution.  Period.  Because that’s the truth.

Oh, but it just got better where the Christine Ford allegations were concerned…

  • On Monday, Democrats were demanding – DEMANDING – that Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley schedule a special hearing at which Ms. Ford would surely love to testify.
  • By Tuesday, Democrats were wailing that the special hearing Grassley had scheduled was just tooooo soooooooooooon.
  • By Wednesday, Democrats were screaming Grassley and other Republicans were “bullying” Ms. Ford for expecting her to actually testify at the hearing that she and they had demanded.
  • By Thursday, Democrats and Ms. Ford’s lawyers were negotiating the terms under which Ms. Ford ‘might’ agree to testify.
  • By Friday, Democrats and Ms. Ford’s lawyers were reduced to claiming that Ms. Ford didn’t want to come to Washington to testify because she was like, all askeered of flying and stuff.
  • By Saturday, Sen. Grassley and Mitch McConnell still hadn’t figured out they were being totally played by the Democrats and Ms. Ford, and were still giving her extensions of time so they could continue to negotiate the terms of her appearance before the Committee, an appearance that Ms. Ford has absolutely no intention at all of making.

Sheesh.

  • Despite Grassley’s and McConnell’s cluelessness, Democrats were in panic mode by Friday, mainly because the HuffPo issued a poll that showed just 26% of those surveyed actually think Ms. Ford is “credible.”
  • So the newsfakers at the New York Times accommodated their Democrat masters by trying to change the narrative going into the weekend, issuing a story – based only on anonymous sources – claiming that Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein had proposed wearing a wire to his meetings with President Trump in mid-2017, and also proposed trying to have Trump declared unfit under the 25th Amendment.
  • Whether true or not, this narrative shift is a transparent effort by the Ds and the fake news media to provoke the President into firing Rosenstein prior to Election Day, so that the media can then portray the move as some sort of abuse of power.
  • While Rosenstein definitely needs firing – and has for a long, long time – so far, the President has avoided taking that particular bait.  After Election Day, though, all bets are off.

Lots of other stuff happened this week, too…

  • Michael Moore’s new Trump-bashing movie bombed at the box office.  Oh, darn.
  • The Emmy Awards show was filled with anti-Trump messages, and as a result received the lowest ratings in its entire history.  Gosh, no one could have seen that coming.
  • A rookie Republican candidate defeated a veteran Democrat pol in a special election in Texas Senate District 19, a heavily-Democrat district that the Coughing Crook won by 12 points in 2016.  But, Blue Wave, or something.
  • Ben and Jerry’s announced that it was introducing a “variety of Democrat-Inspired ice cream flavors.” No word if the flavors range from Blue (Wave) Berry to #MeToo Munch to PussyHatPeach to Depravity Delight, but it seems likely. Oh, goody.
  • Actor James Woods was banished from Twitter for re-tweeting a meme that makes fun of Democrat beta males, on the hysterically absurd grounds that by doing so he might “impact an election.”  By that standard, the nitwits who run Twitter would have to ban every major media outlet that serves as nothing but a propaganda mouthpiece for the Democrat Party, which is pretty much every one of them outside of Fox News.  Holy crap.

What else?  hmmmm…oh, yeah…

  • Claims for unemployment benefits fell to another 49-year low.
  • The Dow Jones Industrials closed at an all-time high level for the 100th time since Trump was elected to the presidency.
  • The economy is in fact so strong and private-sector jobs so abundant that, for the first time since 2005, the U.S. Army missed its recruiting goal for fiscal year 2018, which closes on September 30.

God Bless America.

That is all.

Dems Use the Kavanaugh Process to Destroy Americans’ Most Fundamental Rights

The Evening Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley is a great American and a fine senator.  With the notable exception of his destructive obsession over preserving the ethanol subsidies and mandates that benefit his state’s corn farmers but distort all manner of markets and ruin thousands of engines every year, he is right on pretty much every issue and has been a stalwart warrior for truth, justice and what DC Comics used to admit was the American Way.

But even this great American has found himself treading on very thin ice in his ongoing cowtowing to the demands of the mendacious Democrats who sit on the Senate Judiciary Committee.  To Grassley’s credit, he has held firm in denying the utterly dishonest demands from the Judiciary Ds and Christine Ford’s lawyers that the FBI investigate her transparently false claim of being assaulted by a teenage Brett Kavanaugh 36 years ago when they were both in high school.  But at the same time, Grassley tread on very dangerous ground by agreeing to delay his Committee’s scheduled vote this week and offer the accuser a special hearing next Monday.

Ms. Ford is a possible witness in a confirmation process, nothing more.  She does not become someone endowed with special rights who gets to make special demands simply because she claims, without offering any evidence at all, something bad happened to her at a party 36 years ago.  She has no special status to demand an FBI investigation take place on her whims, nor does she get to negotiate the terms of her possible appearance before a congressional committee, the latest demand which is being reported this afternoon by the fake news hacks at the New York Times.

Ms. Ford is an accuser.  Our society is based on – indeed, our Constitution specifically and unambiguously demands – the principle that a defendant have the absolute right to face his or her accuser and hear the charges under oath, an oath that of necessity carries with it harsh penalties should the accuser lie.  The adherence to this fundamental principle of law is not negotiable in any way if we are going to remain a free, constitutional republic.

Sadly, it is this fundamental principle of law that the Democrat Party and its propaganda arm in the fake news media is using the #MeToo movement to assault.  Everything about the Kavanaugh confirmation process, every despicable tactic employed by the Democrats related to it, every false narrative about the nominee promoted by the fake news media, have been designed to undermine the fundamental legal rights of the accused.

Because Ms. Ford is making a claim of sexual assault, Democrats now demand not just that she be heard, but that she be believed out of hand despite the unarguable fact that she has presented zero credible evidence that anything took place at all.  It is blindingly obvious that her coming forward is nothing more or less than a tactic to force an open-ended delay in the process, so that the vote on confirmation might be delayed until after the mid-term elections.

Even Ms. Ford’s memory “lapses” are clearly designed to ensure that Judge Kavanaugh cannot quickly prove she’s lying.  She can’t remember the date of the incident – if she did, Kavanaugh might well be able to prove he was in some other city on that day.  She can’t remember at whose home the party was held – if she could, Kavanaugh might be able to find the owner of the home, who might well say he never held any such party.  She can’t remember who she came to the party with, or who she left with – if she could, Kavanaugh might well be able to find those people, who would no doubt deny they did any such thing.

Back during the Clarence Thomas/Anita Hill fiasco, Democrats and their media agents became fond of claiming that Hill’s tales had “the ring of truth” to them.  That wasn’t true, but it was the talking point they all used at the time.

There is not a single aspect about Ms. Ford’s story – or the manner in which it was rolled out to the public by Dianne Feinstein and the Democrats – that has the “ring” of anything but a highly-calculated effort to deny Judge Kavanaugh his fundamental rights as an American and to delay the process for no legitimate reason.

If Sen. Grassley and Majority Leader Mitch McConnell concede to Ms. Ford’s latest illegitimate demand for special treatment she has no right to and has not earned, they are conceding to further undermining of the basic rights of the accused that are such a fundamental foundation of our entire society.  They simply must not do this.

I wish I had confidence they won’t.

That is all.
