Hillary Clinton Goes After Tulsi Gabbard and Takes an Epic Beating

Today’s Campaign Update, Part III
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

ummmm…maybe the Fainting Felon should turn her slanders on a more passive target. – This is the best thing you will see today, trust me.

The Democrat/media smear machine is really afraid of Tulsi Gabbard, the representative from Hawaii who remains the only actual interesting person in the party’s presidential nominating race. As Gabbard herself pointed out in Wednesday night’s debate, the smear machine has been up and running at her for the past week:

“Not only that, but, the New York Times and CNN have also smeared veterans like myself for calling for an end to this regime change war. Just two days ago, the New York Times put out an article saying that I’m a Russian asset and an Assad apologist and all these different smears. This morning, a CNN commentator said on national television that I’m an asset of Russia. Completely despicable.”

The big concern at the smear machine is that, because Gabbard does not toe the party line on each and every issue – especially those related to international relations and military policy – she might decide to mount a third party candidacy after the Party ensures its nomination goes to one of the Marxists in the race, most likely to be Fauxcahontas.

Media smears from the two fakest news organizations on the planet not being enough to scare Tulsi off, party leaders obviously fed a script to the Coughing Crook to use during an appearance on Thursday night. There, the Grasping Grifter had this to say about Rep. Gabbard:

“I’m not making any predictions, but I think they’ve got their eye on somebody who is currently in the Democratic primary and are grooming her to be the third-party candidate,” Clinton said, speaking on a podcast with former Obama adviser David Plouffe. “She’s the favorite of the Russians.”

“They have a bunch of sites and bots and other ways of supporting her so far,” Clinton said.

Boy, did the Hacking Hag pick on the wrong target.

Obviously PO’d by Clinton’s idiotic and libelous remarks, Gabbard hit back Friday afternoon on Twitter, and boy, is it epic:

BAM! POW! OOF!

But wait, there’s more!

BOOM! KABLOOEY! YIKES!

But wait, there’s still more!!!

HOLY CRAP! SHOTS FIRED! OLD, COUGHING, HACKING, FAINTING, CORRUPT HAG DOWN!

Whew. That’s just brutal. And oh, so damn true.

Thank you, Rep. Gabbard, for being a Democrat willing to speak the truth about the single most corrupt political figure this nation has ever known.

Please, don’t stop now.

That is all.

It’s All About the DNC Server, Stupid

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

It’s been obvious from the start, hasn’t it? – It’s always been about the server, folks; it has never been about any “quid pro quo,” which President Trump manifestly did not engage in during his July call with Ukraine President Zelensky. That’s what the Campaign Update told you on September 25, about an hour after the transcript of the call had been made public:

Here is the passage that really has the Democrats in their current panicked frenzy:

“I would like for you to do us a favor though because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it. I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine, they say “Crowdstrike”...I guess you have one of your wealthy people…the server, they say Ukraine has it. There are a lot of things that went on, the whole situation. I think you are surrounding yourself with some of the same people. I would like to have the Attorney General call you or your people and I would like you to get to the bottom of it. As you saw yesterday, that whole thing ended with a very bad performance by a man named Robert Mueller, an incompetent performance. But they say a lot of it started with Ukraine.”

This entire charade that the Democrats, their media supporters and disloyal RINOs like Mitt Romney are staging right now is about using the false “quid pro quo” nonsense to distract the public away from focusing on the reality that officials in the Ukraine were heavily involved in the effort to help the DNC and the Clinton Campaign fix the 2016 presidential election. I won’t go through all the details behind that here – go re-read that Sept. 25 piece if you need a review of them.

All of these bad actors are in a panic because they fear that Attorney General William Barr and U.S. Attorney John Durham, acting on intelligence handed to them earlier this year by Rudy Giuliani, are getting close to gathering a critical mass of evidence to prove the Ukraine connection.

This is why you see today’s media/Democrat frenzy coming out of Mick Mulvaney’s presser from yesterday, which can be viewed in its entirety at this link. This is an effort to distort Mulvaney’s reference to the server as an admission the Trump White House was withholding U.S. military aid to Ukraine in order to get foreign help in influencing the 2020 election.

This is abject, smelly horse sh*t.

What Mulvaney in fact said is that the Administration was delaying those funds until it had assurance that the newly-elected Zelensky government is keeping its promise to clean up the rampant corruption in that country. A big part of that is to investigate the former government’s active efforts to influence our 2016 election in support of the Pantsuit Princess and the Democrat Party.

Here is why that is a perfectly proper, even mandatory thing for the Trump Administration to do:

  • The U.S. relationship with Ukraine is structured through a series of treaties;
  • The U.S. provides military aid to Ukraine under the terms of one such treaty;
  • The U.S. also has another, anti-corruption treaty with Ukraine which requires that countries to cooperate in rooting out and punishing corrupt acts by officials from both countries;
  • The U.S. also has this major law called the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act that prohibits the kind of clear influence-selling actions committed by Joe Biden and his ne’er-do-well son Hunter.
  • Thus, the White House and the Department of Justice have a clear and unambiguous legal obligation to coordinate with Ukraine to root out the source of that country’s corrupt efforts to influence our 2016 elections, and if withholding military funding becomes necessary in order to convince the Ukraine government to cooperate, that’s just fine.

As Mulvaney said during his presser, we do this sort of thing all the time in our relationships with countries all over the world. Yes, Barack Obama just loaded up billions in cash into military cargo jets and shipped it willy-nilly to corrupt governments like Iran’s, but that is not the way any of this is supposed to work under the law, and if Republicans in congress weren’t such gutless wonders they’d have impeached Obama over that action.

Look at it this way: Robert Mueller and his gang of Gestapo thugs wasted $35 million or so in a supposed effort to investigate alleged corruption in the 2016 election. Unfortunately, they only looked at one side of the equation, and stayed carefully away from anything having to do with Ukraine and copies of the DNC server that the Comey FBI failed to even investigate.

Now, the Democrat/Media/RINO Axis of Propaganda wants to convince you that the efforts by Barr/Durham/Giuliani to fully investigate the other side of the equation is somehow improper. They need you to believe that, because if the truth ever comes out, they’re all in deep doo-doo. The Wall Street Journal’s Kim Strassel sums it all up very succinctly in this clip:

So remember: Regardless of all the distractions the Axis of Propaganda throws at you every day, their panic is really all about the President’s reference to the server on his call with Zelensky. That’s the real origin point that led to the last three years of fake “Russia collusion” hysteria, and that’s what Barr and Durham are supposedly really investigating.

That is all.

As Trump Speaks to Massive Rally, Dallas Media Shamelessly Toadies for Beto

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Why yes, yes we do. – As he toured the spanking-new, 1,000-job Louis Vuiton factory in the tiny town of Alvarado, Texas on Thursday afternoon, President Donald Trump (I still never tire of typing those three glorious words) really, truly did have this exact exchange with a French reporter:

French reporter: “You have very low unemployment rate in the US and we have very high unemployment rate in France. How come? What the recipe for?”

Trump: “Well maybe we have a better President than you do.”

Somewhere, French President Emmanuel Macron, with his tiny 23% public approval rating, is sipping a glass of Bordeaux with steam coming out of his tiny French ears.

Irish Bob kept with his lifelong pattern of not really being much “competition.” – While the President was holding his massive rally in Dallas’s American Airlines Center (seating capacity 20,000, with thousands more watching on giant screens outside the arena), sad sack dilettante Irish Bob O’Rourke attempted to stage a “competing” rally in a small concert theater 15 miles away in the city of Grand Prairie.

Where several thousand Texans actually spent Wednesday night outside the AA Center in hopes of getting into the Trump Rally, here is a photo outside the O’Rourke venue taken just 3 hours before his event began:

Image

Meanwhile, here are photos of some of the tens of thousands gathered at the same time outside the American Airlines center:

Image may contain: one or more people, crowd and outdoor

Image may contain: one or more people, crowd and outdoor

The local Dallas TV stations all dutifully slanted their coverage of O’Rourke’s pitiful turnout, citing only the laughable claim by the Irish Bob campaign that attendance was an estimated “5,500.” But videos aired of the rally all showed the failed candidate standing on the venue’s stage, surrounded by maybe 200 people, with the rest of the theater kept carefully dark and camera angles kept carefully narrow so that they could not accidentally show all the empty seats:

I have now reviewed very local news coverage clip I can find out on the interwebnets, and not a single Dallas-area media outlet aired a single panning shot of the largely-empty theater. Instead, they all allowed the campaign to carefully place their cameras and restrict their movements in order to enable the dishonest coverage of the event.

This clip, from the local Dallas CBS affiliate aired shortly after 5:00, is even more pathetic. Fast forward to the :36 second mark, as the reporter tries to create the illusion of an enthusiastic “crowd” gathering outside the venue. What you’ll see is about 15 people waving signs the campaign had printed up. In fact, most of those 15 people are most likely O’Rourke campaign staffers:

In other words, the rally was an over-hyped, substance-devoid joke, just like the Furry candidate. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving guy. Honest media outlets would have covered the event and reported the facts surrounding it to their respective audiences. But the Dallas-Fort Worth area has no honest media outlets, so we get this sort of carefully-staged, coordinated in-kind contributions to the O’Rourke Campaign.

Because that is what our fake news media has become. It’s all just a show, folks.

That is all.

WATCH: Mick Mulvaney’s Epic Fake News Media Beat-Down

Today’s Campaign Update, Part III
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

This is the best entertainment you will experience this week. – Acting Chief of Staff and just general jack of all trades for this Administration Mick Mulvaney staged one of the most epic beatdowns of our fake news media mavens of all time by anyone not named Trump today. He is almost as good as the President is at this, and actually does it while speaking in complete sentences and without the roar of helicopter or jumbo jet engines behind him. He is without doubt one of the most polished and witty extemporaneous speakers you will ever see. If management at Fox News had a lick of sense they’d offer Mulvaney about $20 million to fill that now-vacant 3:00 ET time slot.

I don’t have time to do a transcript here, but just watch it – it is hands-down the best show on television:

129 Republicans Disgrace Themselves in House Show Vote on Syria

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Remember those Republicans who supported Nancy Pelosi and betrayed the American voters with this vote. – I have very often been thoroughly disgusted with the behavior of spineless, disloyal Republicans in the U.S. Congress, but seldom as disgusted as I felt on Wednesday afternoon.

That was when we got news that 129 Republican members of the U.S. House of Representatives joined with Nancy Pelosi and the Democrat caucus in a vote to condemn President Trump’s decision to pull U.S. military personnel out of harm’s way as the Turkish military invaded Northern Syria on Sunday. That decision involved about 50 U.S. military advisors who would have otherwise been trapped between the Turkish and Kurdish forces, and another 1,000 or so U.S. personnel who were already well away from the front.

This vote was a shameful act, and I’m frankly embarrassed to see the names of Texans like Kevin Brady, Dan Crenshaw and John Ratcliffe on the list of “yea” votes for this despicable, non-binding resolution. Here is why these were shameful votes: The U.S. Constitution grants Congress the sole power to declare war on another country. If these posturing, blustering politicians truly feel so horrified by the President’s decision to keep our country’s military personnel safe, and so strongly about siding with the Kurdish forces – who, by the way, regularly make incursions into Turkey against U.S. advice – then they need to man-up and hold a vote on a declaration of war.

Doing what they did on Wednesday is simply political posturing designed to allow them to go tell their voters that they bravely defied the President in a vote that in reality does nothing but provide political support for the Democrat Party. It’s disgusting, and I had hoped that I would not see the three men listed above – whom I have held in high regard – engaging in this sort of political cowardice.

Most Americans have no regard at all for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is a despicable, brutish thug. But the centuries-old conflict between the Turks and the Kurds is every bit as unsolvable as all the myriad other centuries-old conflicts involving various peoples and religious factions in the Middle East. These conflicts existed long before the United States of America was born, and will persist long after the Democrats succeed in dividing the U.S. into two or more separate nations.

They are, in other words, not our problem, and if the last 28 years have taught us nothing else, they should have taught every American that neither our country nor any other nation on earth, no matter how well-intentioned or powerful, is capable of resolving them peacefully. All we are capable of doing is ensuring the ongoing killing takes place in a reorganized fashion.

Donald Trump was elected to the presidency in large part to get our military personnel out of the middle of never-ending conflicts like this one, and that is what he decided to do on Sunday.  He inherited a set of quagmires from his four predecessors in office, holding a mandate from the voters to get our country out of them.

For members of congress, for warmonger John McCain disciples like Lindsey Graham, who are currently wringing their hands about the supposed “rebirth of ISIS,” the way to prevent that being a threat to America is to act on the other main reason why Donald Trump won the 2016 election and pass legislation designed to get control of our damn borders.

In other words, instead of going on Fox News and CNN to channel John McCain and lecture the President about “abandoning our allies,” Graham and Brady and Ratcliffe and Chrenshaw need to be going on those channels and others to pound the Democrats for abandoning the American people.

But that would take political will, something that is always in short supply among Republican members of congress.

Again, here is the link to the roll call on Wednesday’s show vote. Memorize those 129 Republican names, and if one of them represents your district, do something to let them know about your displeasure with yesterday’s abandonment of the American people. Because the 2016 election was a referendum on this very issue, and their side lost.

That is all.

Pelosi, Schumer and Hoyer Stage Another DC Swamp-Kabuki Theater Act

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Elijah Cummings died. – I have nothing nice to say about him, so I will say nothing at all.  Here’s a link to the AP article about his death, which of course is a thoroughly one-sided, glowing review of his life. Somehow the Republic and Baltimore will survive.

San Fran Nan is sick. – At least, according to President Donald Trump, who issued the tweet below after Pelosi blew up yet again in a White House meeting and staged a very theatrical walkout along with Chuck Schumer and Steny Hoyer:

Hey, didn’t we already know this is a very sick – as in mentally deranged – woman? Pretty sure most of us did, and Schumer and Hoyer should be – but won’t be – roundly condemned for helping her stage this latest bit of DC Swamp Kabuki theater.

As a partial, taunting payback for this latest staged event, the President followed later with this hilarious tweet:

Naturally, the Democrat activist press corps slanted its reporting in coordination with the Democrat narrative, featuring Schumer’s laughable contention that “the Speaker kept her cool.” But as you can clearly see in the clip below, Pelosi is visibly shaking, a fake smile pasted onto her face and having a very hard time keeping her constantly-loose dentures in her mouth while Schumer was ranting.

For their part, the Democrats couldn’t even keep their own story straight. Schumer claimed President Trump called Pelosi a “third-rate politician,” while Pelosi said Trump had in fact called her a “third-grade politician.” Seriously? That’s why you walk out of what was supposedly such a crucially important bipartisan briefing on the goings-on in Syria right now?

And hell’s bells, regardless of which insult the President may or may not have uttered, everyone on the face of the earth knows that Pelosi is a shameless political hack, and being one has made her a fabulously wealthy person. So, what’s the big deal? Own it, Nan – being a despicable political hack is what defines your entire life.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy spoke to the press gaggle later, after participating in the full meeting, saying that “”They left the meeting, other Democrats stayed and we had the most normal meeting you could ever have that was productive with the general of the joint chiefs, the secretary of defense and the president talking about how do we keep the homeland safe.”

Oh.

In case any of you might be inclined to take what the Democrats staged yesterday as a serious, spur-of-the-moment fit of pique, remember that this is not the first time they’ve created this exact scenario as a means of trying to fire up their lunatic Twitter Outrage Mob base. This is just another Alinsky-style event, a part of their ongoing coup d’etat effort designed to try to lower the President’s public approval ratings by portraying him as an unstable madman occupying the White House.

It is no coincidence that this piece of choreography came on the same day that the President’s approval rating in the Rasmussen survey once again reached 50%. It also came just a day after Pelosi had to cancel a planned formal impeachment vote of the full House because she simply doesn’t have the votes in favor of making that move, and if she forces it, she dooms her 35 or so Democrats who represent traditionally-GOP districts.

It also took place on a day during which news came that Adam Schiff’s Soviet-style basement interrogations of witnesses like Ukraine Envoy Kurt Volker are not yielding the results the Democrat coup plotters have hoped for:

[excerpt from interrogation]

Schiff persisted. “And when that suspension of aid became known to that country, to Ukraine, it would be all the more weighty to consider what the president had asked of them, wouldn’t it?”

“So again, congressman, I don’t believe — ” Volker began.

“It’s a pretty straightforward question,” Schiff said.

“But I don’t believe the Ukrainians were aware that the assistance was being held up — ”

“They became aware of it,” Schiff said.

“They became aware later, but I don’t believe they were aware at the time, so there was no leverage implied,” Volker said.

[end]

Oh.

So, as we have seen time and time and time again from these Democrats and their media hack toadies, when the facts on the ground don’t support the narrative they are pushing, they stage a media event to distract the public’s attention. It’s a despicable tactic, one that undermines the stability of our society, and the constant progression of this kind of false-flag display pushes us closer to outright civil conflict with every passing day.

All of which makes it perfectly reasonable for the President to speculate that Pelosi “just plain doesn’t like our great Country.” The proof of that slaps us in the face on a daily basis.

That is all.

Project Veritas Shows That CNN is Fake. In Other News, Water is Still Wet.

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

It’s all just another day’s work for our fake news media. – In my weekly Tuesday afternoon radio spot on News Talk 93.1 FM in Montgomery, Alabama, hilarious host Greg Budell brought up the new Project Veritas video expose’ of CNN. Those undercover videos, recorded by a whistleblower employee who was fired on Monday, reveal all sorts of news-faking machinations that take place at the fakest fakety-fake fake news outlet of them all.

A video released late Monday contains various clips of CNN President Jeff Zucker exposing an obvious personal grudge against President Donald Trump, bashing him repeatedly, and holding regular 9:00 a.m. meetings at which Zucker and staff strategize how to slant and fake the day’s news. Here’s the video:

When Greg asked me if I thought there would be any internal repercussions against Zucker or other high-profile CNN employees as a result of these videos, I answered “no, because these videos don’t really come as a surprise to anyone.”

Seriously, does it surprise you even a little bit that Jeff Zucker hates Donald Trump, and holds daily staff meetings to plot ways to slant CNN’s fake news coverage to the President’s detriment and in favor of various Democrats? Haven’t we really known that had to be happening all along? As I told Greg, it’s not just CNN doing this – the same thing is happening every morning at ABC, NBC, CBS, the Washington Post, the New York Times, and most other national outlets.

Oh, and those 9:00 strategy meetings likely take place right after they’ve all spent an hour on their daily 8:00 conference calls with key Democrats, during which they agree to the day’s talking points script that will be parroted on TV, in the newspapers and by their employees on Twitter and other social media. How else would Rush Limbaugh be able to come up with those 3-minute-long montages of 50 fake journalists and talking heads using the exact same talking points, verbatim, several times each week?

This is nothing new: This Democrat/media daily coordination has been taking place for at least 25 years, probably longer. Back in 2009, when the folks at Politico were still attempting to run a fairly honest news reporting effort, they even reported on the daily talking points operation of the day, which the fake journalists referred to as “journo-list”:

For the past two years, several hundred left-leaning bloggers, political reporters, magazine writers, policy wonks and academics have talked stories and compared notes in an off-the-record online meeting space called JournoList…

POLITICO contacted nearly three dozen current JList members for this story. The majority either declined to comment or didn’t respond to interview requests — and then returned to JList to post items on why they wouldn’t be talking to POLITICO about what goes on there.

Again, every outlet in our fake news media has these daily strategy sessions, and uses the exact same talking points and narratives that are used by Democrat strategists and politicians. This can only happen if there is a daily coordination effort. Whether the coordination effort takes place in an online forum, via conference call or some other technological mechanism doesn’t really matter: The coordination is manifestly transparent due to the way the “news” is rolled out to the public each day.

The only thing new this week is that, thanks to Project Veritas, we now have video proof of it taking place at CNN. Which we already knew was happening, anyway, right? Right.

Hell, far from getting fired for this, we should expect to soon see videos of Zucker bragging about it at various public events, like Quid Pro Joe bragged about bullying Ukraine’s government to fire that prosecutor. What Zucker and his CNN cohorts are doing is just standard operating procedure at America’s major fake news outlets these days.

The only person at CNN likely to face any real repercussions from the Project Veritas expose’ has already been fired. That is sad, but it’s also very probably true.

That is all.

Dem Debate: Clipping Coupons, Stealing Your Money, and Confiscating Guns

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

I didn’t watch last night’s Democrat debate, because I’m sane and would prefer to stay that way. Besides, there was baseball on TV. But I did follow the festivities in real time on social media, and quickly realized I didn’t miss anything that wasn’t entirely predictable.

For example, there was this lovely moment, when the two near-octogenarians in the race, perhaps surprised to see each other still alive and kicking, gave each other a big hug:

Image may contain: 1 person, suit

Awwww, isn’t that cute? It’s like that big family reunion back in 1963 when both of your great-grandpas showed up together for the last time.

Speaking of Quid Pro Joe, he got the very predicable special handling from CNN hack Anderson Cooper, who prefaced a question about his bullying of the Ukraine in order to protect is ne’er-do-well son with “You have been falsely accused by the White House…”, and bumbling ‘Ol Joe was barely able to take it from there. If Cooper could’ve taken him by the hand and walked him through an answer, you can be sure he would have done so.

At other times, though, the Unfrozen Caveman Senator didn’t fare quite so well. Check out this clip, when he’s asked by some chick about the Marxist “wealth tax” scheme being touted by The Commie and Fauxcahontas:

That’s right: He literally said “clipping coupons in the stock market.” He apparently thinks Nabisco often runs “2 for 1 specials” on purchases of its stock, and General Motors offers 5 year, 0 percent financing from time to time.

In case you couldn’t understand the rest of his gibberish answer, here’s everything he said, verbatim:

“No, look, er, ah,um, demonizing wealth people, what I’ve talked about is how you get things done. And the way to get things done is take a look at the tax code right now.  The idea, we have to start rewarding work not just wealth. I would eliminate the capital gains tax [rapid blinking and scrunch face occurs here] that i..I w, I would raise the capital gains tax to the highest l.., rate of 39.5 percent, would double it. Because guess what? Why in God’s name should someone who’s clipping coupons in the stock market make, in fact, pay lower tax rate than someone who in fact is, uh, like I said, is, th, uh,  a school teacher and a fireman.”

Got that? So, all you stock market coupon clippers better put those scissors away and go out and get a job teaching or putting out fires. Because that’s the world Quid Pro Joe lives in these days.

In another highlight, Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, who remains the only actual interesting person on the Democrat stage, ripped into the two main drivers of today’s fake news media, CNN and the New York Times. Hilariously, those two fake news outlets also happened to be the hosts of last night’s debate. Here’s the clip:

For those who still like to read things, here is the key passage:

“Not only that, but, the New York Times and CNN have also smeared veterans like myself for calling for an end to this regime change war. Just two days ago, the New York Times put out an article saying that I’m a Russian asset and an Assad apologist and all these different smears. This morning, a CNN commentator said on national television that I’m an asset of Russia. Completely despicable.”

Boom. Don’t hear language like that about our fake news media coming from any of the other Democrats on that stage, mainly because the New York Times and CNN treat them all with kid gloves.

But maybe the best part came when Irish Bob O’Rourke appeared to question the political courage of Navy veteran Pete Buttigieg, and that did not go well for the Texas dilettante:

Oof.

In an interview released earlier on Tuesday, O’Rourke also signaled that his pending failure to win the Democrat nomination would likely end his amazingly mediocre political career, saying “I cannot fathom a scenario where I would run for public office again if I’m not the nominee.”

All of his former fantasy lovers at various Texas and national fake media outlets would be heartbroken, but those words fall on most Texans like manna from heaven.

Note to Beto: You aren’t winning anything in this race, given that your campaign has been the most laughable, miserable, epic failure this year has seen. So, please, keep your word, for once.

Image result for i don't believe you gif

To sum up the rest: Julian Castro told a bunch of lies about immigration, Fauxcahontas refused again to admit she is going to raise taxes on the middle class, Kamala Harris bumbled and stumbled all over herself, Andrew Yang barely got any airtime, Cory Booker continued sucking up to Creepy Uncle Joe, Tom Steyer was on the stage but nobody knew why, or even who in the hell he was, and everyone went after Fauxcahontas at one time or another because she’s the real frontrunner in the race.

But in the most important news of the evening, the Nationals beat the Cardinals to sweep to their first-ever National League pennant.

That is all.

P.S.: As I was typing this piece up this morning, President Donald Trump summed last night’s festivities up perfectly:

Why Did William Barr Meet with Rupert Murdoch?

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

This is going to be a fun, fun week. – Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe announced over the weekend that his group is going to be releasing a new series of confidential recording this week. The target of this project?

CNN. Check this out:

This week, a CNN insider will blow the whistle and through Project Veritas will release dozens of recordings made of officials at the highest levels of CNN, revealing a political agenda, bias and misconduct hidden from public view.

This series of tapes — which we think will be the biggest story of the year for Project Veritas — blends two extraordinary series of events; a brave insider secretly recording at work and a hard-hitting piece of hidden camera muckraking into one of the supposed “most trusted names in news.”

Oh, my. Somewhere, Brian Stelter is huddled in a broom closet, furiously consuming a sack of jelly donuts. What fun!

Are there really any coincidences in the DC Swamp?  –  Speaking of cable news outlets, here’s something to think about where Fox News is concerned: Last Thursday, the fake news media was filled with reports about Attorney General William Barr holding a meeting with Rupert Murdoch, Chairman of the Board for Fox News, the previous evening. Democrats were so alarmed about the meeting that they were all over CNN and MSNBC that day demanding a congressional investigation, even though there was no publicly-known reason for them to have any concern.

Of course, the Democrats have been in a bit of a frenzy to tarnish Barr’s reputation as he proceeds with his investigation into the origins of the coordinated DOJ/FBI/CIA/media efforts to deny Trump the presidency in 2016 and later to stage a coup d’etat to remove him from office, efforts that continue to this day. But the concern over this simple meeting seemed bizarrely overwrought, even in the context of that character assassination campaign, at least until Friday afternoon at 3:59 ET, when Shep Smith announced his “resignation” from his amazingly undeserved position at the cable news channel.

Remember that a big part of the Barr/John Durham investigation focuses on the massive leaking and cozy relationships with certain media members by the coup plotters within the government. It is also very important to remember that DOJ IG Michael Horowitz’s long-overdue FISA abuse report supposedly will be released late this week, and Horowitz has also been heavily-focused on the leaking issue.

The three things could be totally unconnected, but you can’t help wondering if Barr met with Murdoch to let him know what his investigation has discovered related to some of Fox’s employees and contributors, including some of its on-air “talent,” and their relationships with the Deep State coup participants. Certainly, no one among Fox’s on-air anchors has spent more time parroting the talking points of the Deep State more fervently over the past few years than Shep Smith has.

Again, it could all be just a big coincidence, and maybe Mr. Smith just got tired of being the cable channel’s poster child for the DC Swamp. Or maybe he got canned as a result of his on-air feud with the highly-rated Tucker Carlson. But I’ve never been much of a believer in coincidences.

Speaking of that on-air feud between Smith and Carlson, highly-paid Fox contributor Andrew Napolitano was at the center of all of that. As reported on September 25 by Vanity Fair:

The schism was evident this week as a feud erupted between afternoon anchor Shepard Smith and prime-time host Tucker Carlson. It started Tuesday when Fox legal analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano told Smith on-air that Trump committed a “crime” by pressuring Ukraine’s president to get dirt on Biden. That night, Carlson brought on former Trump lawyer Joe diGenova, who called Napolitano a “fool” for claiming Trump broke the law. Yesterday, Smith lashed back, calling Carlson “repugnant” for not defending Napolitano on air.

Of course, Vanity Fair omits the fact that “former Trump lawyer Joe diGenova” is also a former U.S. Attorney, and a very highly-regarded one. Because of course that’s what they did – that’s what the fake news media does. But I digress.

The thing to remember about Napolitano is that he had a very, very noticeable on-air transformation from being a Trump supporter one day to changing his on-air “legal analyses” into consistent anti-Trump rants the next. This transformation took place suddenly, shortly before the President publicly announced the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to become his second Supreme Court appointment. It is well-known that Napolitano actively lobbied the President for a Supreme Court nomination.

Here is what we also know without any doubt whatsoever: A large number of “journalists” and cable TV personalities are on the payroll of our intelligence agencies, and have been for more than half a century now. The convergence of all of these events could be mere coincidence, but it is certainly valid to wonder if Barr met with Murdoch as a courtesy call to give the media mogul a head’s up on which of his employees might be about to become implicated in some very major investigations.

The hyper-panicked reaction by the Democrats to what could well have been just a dinner between two old acquaintances indicates they’re a lot more worried about it than any reasonable person would be.

That is all.
