Trump Fires ICIG Atkinson: Media/Coup Plotters Hardest Hit

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

A new day has officially arrived at the U.S. Intelligence Community.  – Late Friday afternoon, President Donald Trump (I still never tire of typing those three glorious words) pulled the trigger on Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson, providing him with his walking papers effective at the end of this month.

A more appropriate firing has never before happened to any employee of our federal government. Naturally, the corrupt coup d’etat supporters in our national news media went berserk. They all love Atkinson, given the key role he played in the whole fake impeachment hoax that distracted the nation’s attention from other crucial matters – like the Wuhan Virus – from September through January.

Here is the letter President Trump sent to Senators Richard Burr (RINO) and Mark Warner (D), the chairman and ranking member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, last night:

The President no doubt took this crucial decision based on the recommendation of Acting Director of National Intelligence Ric Grennel. It is also likely no coincidence that the move comes just a few days after former Congressman Mark Meadows assumed the job of President Trump’s Chief of Staff. So, let’s all give Mr. Grennel and Mr. Meadows a standing round of applause as well.

Oscars GIF - Find & Share on GIPHY

Atkinson, remember is the corrupt Obama holdover who last August single-handedly enabled the entire impeachment hoax to move forward based on the anonymous, hearsay “whistleblower” complaint by surreptitiously changing the IC’s whistleblower rules to allow second-hand information. As reported this morning by Gateway Pundit:

Atkinson saw to it that the whistleblower form was updated to allow for second hand information, which the ‘whistleblower’ (believed to be Eric Ciaramella) provided in his complaint. Although, the form should not have been accepted based on second-hand information and because it was about the President of the United States (who is not in the IC), Atkinson accepted the complaint.

The whistleblower later attempted to edit the form he originally provided. The original form stated that the whistleblower did not talk to Congress before filing the form but after it was discovered that he had met with Adam Schiff’s team in Congress, the whistleblower attempted to edit his form.

It’s important to note that Atkinson’s move came just days after Schiff and his staff had coordinated with the fake whistleblower – Eric Ciaramella – to compile his complaint. Atkinson was obviously also coordinating his efforts with Schiff.

Let’s also remember that, after Atkinson was interviewed by Adam Schiff’s Soviet-style impeachment committee in September, the results were apparently so damaging to the hoax that Schiff has still refused to release the transcript of that interrogation to this day. Atkinson’s transcript remains the only one of the 29 interview transcripts still being kept under wraps.

Finally, the guys over at The Conservative Treehouse remind us in a great, comprehensive expose’ of Atkinson, that he was also singled out for criticism in last December’s report by DOJ IG Michael Horowitz:

Also, in the recent FISA review by the OIG the DOJ inspector general specifically identified issues with the “accuracy reviews” conducted by DOJ-NSD chief legal counsel. Who was that former DOJ-NSD chief legal counsel? That would be current ICIG Michael Atkinson.

Currently, former CIA Director John Brennan is under investigation for his role in the FBI spy operations against the Trump campaign and administration. Brennan is being investigated by U.S. Attorney John Durham, an assignment from AG Bill Barr.

Few people have asked why it would take a U.S. attorney to conduct a review of the CIA considering ICIG Atkinson should have been doing that oversight already. The answer within that non-discussed dynamic points to the reason why Ric Grenell as ODNI was needed.

So today, as you find yourselves going stir crazy as you continue to hole up in your home for fear of contracting a virus, take just a moment to celebrate the great news that your President took the time and political risk in the midst of this crisis to rid our government of this corrupt, malign influence who has done so much damage within our intelligence community.

Uncorking a nice, cold bottle of champagne might be in order.

That is all.

Putin Is Ready To Cut Oil Supply, But Demand Destruction Still Grows

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday that, after sending the oil markets into a massive crash a month ago by blowing up the OPEC+ exports limitation agreement, his country is now ready to work with OPEC and other countries to implement far deeper cuts to crude production than OPEC+ had ever envisioned.

Speaking in a televised video conference, Putin proposed an arrangement that would result in removing 10 million barrels of crude oil per day from global supply. As reported by the Khaleej Times, “Putin’s dramatic change of tack from his unyielding stance of non-cooperation with the Opec in further output cuts came in the wake of a truce brokered by US President Donald Trump ahead of the upcoming Opec plus meeting scheduled for April 6.” The price for West Texas Intermediate closed at $28.34 per barrel on Friday, up by 40% since Wednesday, when news of Trump’s engagement with Putin and Saudi leader Mohammed bin Salman became public.

Has President Trump, the famous deal-maker, worked a deal that will save the U.S. domestic oil and gas industry? Let’s don’t get ahead of ourselves. While a global deal that would remove 10 millions barrel from daily oil supply would certainly help firm up oil prices, we have to remember that the effort by Russia and Saudi Arabia to flood the market only impacted the supply side of a two-sided equation. Crude prices had already dropped by more than 30% into the low-$40 range in early March before OPEC+ blew up, thanks to massive global demand destruction caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

With the U.S. intentionally shutting down its own economy during March in a strategy to slow the spread of the virus, that demand destruction has only intensified over the past 30 days, with some projecting as much as 25% of world-wide demand for crude oil having been lost, or about 25 million barrels per day. We should also realize that, with so much anticipation now focused on it, if the upcoming emergency meeting of the OPEC+ countries should somehow fail to bear fruit along the lines proposed by Putin, then the price will come crashing back down.

And even if a new deal does get done, it will only address one side of the equation. There will still be much work to be done to return the domestic oil and gas industry to some level of health.

On the Wuhan Virus, President Trump Needs to Bring in new Experts

The Evening Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

We’re gonna need some better “experts.”  – For the past three weeks now, President Donald Trump has allowed his team of “experts,” led by Dr. Anthony Fauci, to essentially destroy the nation’s economy based on the projections by a statistical model whose have varied dramatically from week to week, and which do not bear even the slightest resemblance to observed results on the ground.

Friday morning, Dr. Fauci told an interviewer that he just can’t understand why the entire nation is not already in a lockdown stay-at-home situation. Meanwhile, in Texas, 101 counties that comprise an are about the size of the massive state of Montana still have not seen a single case of Wuhan Virus. In the last 3 weeks Texas has recorded 68 Wuhan Virus fatalities. In 2018 Texas recorded 1,200 flu related deaths in just two weeks. No one at the NIH or the CDC or in our corrupt news media batted an eye.

Maybe that’s why, Doctor.

Independent journalist Alex Berenson does a great daily update of how the actual observed results on the ground remain vastly lower than what Dr. Fauci’s statistical model projects. Here is his update for today:

It’s not even close, folks. Not even in the ballpark. It’s exactly the same scam as the “Climate Change” models, whose projections are never, without exception supported by actual observations. It’s the same thing, with Fauci in the role of Al Gore.

At tonight’s Task Force update, Dr. Deborah Birx admitted that the most current run of this faulty model now projects 93,000 U.S. deaths through September, down from the 100,000 to 200,000 it was projecting just 3 days ago. Why is that number going down? Because the actual results on the ground are continuing to be fed into its faulty modeling process.

Yet, Dr. Fauci continues to go out and do his media appearances, peddling his alarmist rhetoric wherever he can in an ongoing effort to prolong the destruction of the U.S. economy. This is a strategy he somehow failed to attempt in 2009, when H1N1 ravaged the U.S. and other countries, and it is a strategy he ignores annually as our country loses 40,000 to 60,000 to the seasonal flu, for which Fauci and his fellow “experts” claim we have an actual vaccine.

Of course, the truth about that vaccine is that it is about 30-40% effective at best. The truth about the vaccine for Wuhan Virus Fauci continues to claim is going to be available in 12-18 months is that it will be about that effective as well.

Meanwhile, Fauci continues to downplay the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine in treating this current plague, despite multiple peer-reviewed scientific studies and anecdotal tests that have found it to be almost 100% effective.  If we had a drug that was that effective at treating the seasonal flu, 100s of thousands of dead Americans would be alive today.

Here’s our country’s reality: Before we go too much further down the road on this nation-destroying “strategy,” the President needs to put Fauci and his model out to pasture and bring in some new experts. Maybe even think about bringing in some experts who don’t have such obvious, blatant conflicts of interest.

The Shale Daily Update – 4.3.2020

Here are 10 things you need to know about oil and gas for April 3, 2020:

Trump calls on Russia and Saudi Arabia to cut oil production – Excerpt:

The Trump administration is pressing OPEC to hold an emergency meeting as early as next week to try to end the standoff in the oil market that has threatened to cripple the U.S. oil industry, three industry and government officials familiar with the talks said.

The U.S. pressure is aimed at persuading Saudi Arabia — which has also called for a meeting — and Russia to declare a ceasefire and reverse the export increases that have drowned the global market in crude even as the coronavirus pandemic has decimated international demand.

The White House has not yet decided who, if anyone, it would send to a possible OPEC meeting next week, the industry and government officials said. Candidates included Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Department of Energy Secretary Dan Brouillette and Trump’s son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner, the people said.

Oil Extends Gains As OPEC Leaders Call Emergency Meeting To Discuss Trump Production Cuts – Well, guess the pressure from the President worked, as OPEC called a special meeting overnight. The cartel will hold its meeting next week via “emergency teleconference,” which one supposes must be more urgent than just your ordinary, everyday OPEC teleconference.

OPEC+ Debates Biggest Ever Cut as Virus Destroys Oil Demand – It’s worth noting that Russia’s oil minister denied the narrative told in this New York Times report, but Russia says all sorts of things that end up not being accurate. Let’s hope this is one of them.

The U.S. is at War With China and Peter Navarro Plans to do Something About it

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Question of the day.  – Why hasn’t President Trump invoked the Defense Production Act to force the New York Times and Washington Post to convert their facilities to produce toilet paper? It would be a very minimal conversion process.

“Never again…” – Peter Navarro, the director of trade and manufacturing policy, national Defense Production Act policy coordinator and just general all-around White House badass, made a statement at Thursday’s Coronavirus Task Force briefing that didn’t get a lot of attention from our clueless, corrupt news media. But it should have, because Peter Navarro doesn’t just say stuff to hear himself talk.

Here’s what he said, as quoted by the Washington Examiner:

“One of the things that this crisis has taught us is that we are dangerously overdependent on a global supply chain. For our medicines like penicillin, our medical supplies, masks, and our medical equipment like ventilators.

“Never again should we rely on the rest of the world for our essential medicines and countermeasures.”

The Food and Drug Administration, Navarro said, would have to greenlight medical manufacturing so that the U.S. can “leapfrog” other countries, “so we don’t have to compete against cheap sweatshop labor, lax environmental regulations, different tax regimes, and massive subsidies of foreign governments.”

[End]

Navarro’s pointed comments were a clear signal to the communist Chinese government and the rest of the world that the Trump Administration will be taking aggressive steps going forward to further de-link the U.S. economy from the Red Dragon with which Trump’s four predecessors worked so hard to entangle it. The clear significance of this flies right over the heads of our corrupt national news media because it does not fit neatly into their coordinated narrative with the Democrat Party.

The same was true of the incredible significance of Wednesday’s Task Force update, when President Trump brought in pretty much the nation’s entire senior military leadership to roll out the Administration’s plan to deploy U.S. military resources in fighting the war against drug imports into the United States from Mexico and South American destinations.

The few media outlets that bothered to file reports on this bit of news – CNN was too busy focusing on Fredo Cuomo’s imaginary fight against coronavirus, which is nothing more than a pathetic publicity stunt – characterized it as a fight against the “drug cartels.”

Here’s how the buffoons at the Associated Press led their story:

President Donald Trump announced Wednesday that Navy ships are being moved toward Venezuela as his administration beefs up counter-narcotics operations in the Caribbean following a U.S. drug indictment against Nicolás Maduro.

The president’s announcement was a break from the daily White House press briefing to discuss the coronavirus pandemic, which has left much of the country in lock-down and which the government warns could cause 100,000 to 240,000 deaths.

The mission involves sending additional Navy warships, surveillance aircraft and special forces teams to nearly double the U.S. counter-narcotics capacity in the Western Hemisphere, with forces operating both in the Caribbean and eastern Pacific. Esper said the mission would be supported by 22 partner nations.

“As governments and nations focus on the coronavirus there is a growing threat that cartels, criminals, terrorists and other malign actors will try to exploit the situation for their own gain,” said Trump. “We must not let that happen.”

[End]

So, it’s just another beefing-up in the fight against those nasty Latin-American cartels. Yawn. Nothing to see here – move along to Adam Schiff trying to mount another impeachment effort in the middle of a national crisis. That’s more fun, and fits our narrative of the day.

Look, what’s the major problem with imported drugs killing Americans today? If you said illegal imports of fentanyl, you win the prize. And while these drug cartels do serve as the conduit for most of that fentanyl, where does most of the supply of it originate?

Oh. That would be China. See, illegal drugs have a long supply chain just like the legal drugs. The Administration obviously has information that China is planning to coordinate with its allies in Latin America to ramp up the illegal drug trade and further weaken the U.S. during this time of crisis.

Folks, we are at war with China, and have been for quite some time. It was just a year ago that U.S. agents interdicted an illegal shipment of enough Chinese fentanyl to kill 57 million Americans. That was just one of many similar busts that have been made in recent years. The ChiCom government does pretty much nothing to stop these illegal shipments which have already addicted and/or killed millions of Americans, yet our major corporations just continue to ramp up their business entanglements with that country. Students of history will know that many, many major U.S. corporations in the 1930s had similar entanglements with Nazi Germany before World War II ended all of that.

Now we have an increasing body of evidence that the Wuhan Virus not only originated in China, but that the ChiCom government and World Health Organization coordinated with one another in a cover up while it was spread across the globe during November through January. That virus has already killed more than 5,000 Americans and promises to kill many thousands more.

When Mr. Navarro says, “Never again should we rely on the rest of the world for our essential medicines and countermeasures,” what he really means is that we should never again rely on China.

Again, your corrupt news media is too dimwitted to figure that out and report it accurately. Thus, expect them to all be shocked and surprised when the Trump Administration starts taking major actions to force the disentanglement of the U.S. economy from China’s in the coming months.

About the Advertising on This Site…

Dear readers: I realize now I should have done this sooner.

I agree with you that pop-up ads can be annoying, and recognize that there are a couple of new ones on this site now. I am working with a new advertising firm, and we will have the kinks worked out over the next couple of days.

However, the two existing pop-up ads will remain active. While I would appreciate it if you would click on them every now and then, they are actually very easy to clear from your screen. A couple of seconds after they appear, a small “x” appears at the upper right-hand corner of the ad. Click on that and it goes “poof.”

I generate very little income from this site, but it is enough to pay a few monthly bills and keep me interested. When I started this blog three years ago, I assured my friends and early readers that I would do everything I can to avoid ever making this any sort of a pay site. At the same time, I am a dedicated capitalist, and I do want to maximize my revenue from spending several hours 7 days a week doing this.

So, we are all going to have to live with the ads. You will find that the new ads that will begin rotating through over the coming weeks will be of higher quality and recognizable brands than the old ones have been. Who knows, you might even see something you want to take a look at every now and then. If so, give it a click.

I would also invite you to compare the volume and placement of ads on this site to those on other sites you visit. If you do that you will see that it is well within the norm of what you see all over the place.

Much as I wish it weren’t so, this is just the way the world works these days. I appreciate your loyalty and hope you will stick with me.

Thanks.

That is all.

Betting on a Coronavirus Vaccine Could be a Lousy Gamble

Guest Piece by Gregg Updike

I am prefacing this with the acknowledgement that I am not a medical professional or expert.  I am just trying to apply some common sense to what we see happening in this current Wuhan Virus pandemic.

Just six or so months ago that there was a huge debate about how a large anti-virus movement was coming to the forefront where a significant percentage of the population was virulently against government mandating vaccinating their children for the standard diseases like measles and other largely eradicated diseases like polio and whooping cough.  The debate was raging back then with my Senator, Lamar Alexander (RINO) TN, calling for people to heed government warnings and vaccinate their children.  Now I am hearing crickets on this issue and almost everyone seems to be saying we MUST have a COVID-19 vaccine ASAP, but best case scenario is 12-18 months – which would not even be in time for the next active winter (2020-21) season.

It is amazing how many vaccinations are available at a drug store right now.  A shingles vaccine is among the newest that I’m aware of.  Like everything in life, things have to be used in moderation.  Apparently Big Pharma is behind this movement to push vaccines for virtually every ailment.  The only vaccine I take is for tetanus every ten years because I work in an environment where I could be exposed.

When I was in the Navy, I was forced to get a flu shot ever year, and I got sick with flu-like symptoms about half the time.  Recent figures that I have heard say on average the ‘government approved’ yearly flu shot is only about 30-40% effective – not a very good ‘success’ rate.  I refuse to inject my body with a cocktail of chemicals of unknown effectiveness just because the government or CDC says I should.  While I am a strong proponent of taking logical preventive care, I do not believe becoming a CDC pincushion is the answer to overall good health.

I am very thankful and fortunate to be in good health and not susceptible to viruses including the flu and common cold, and the various vaccinations are beneficial to many, the typical government one size fits all is the answer to every problem or disease is unlikely to work in this case.  Especially when there are so many strains (why it is called COVID-19?) of this China Virus and why there are so many flu strains that change from year to year which require the tuning of the vaccine to effectively counter whatever flu strain is prevalent or active in a particular year. It really is a crapshoot as to how effective a flu vaccine is going to be in a given year which is why we still experience 30-60,000 ‘regular’ flu deaths annually.

COVID-19 will likely be no different, especially if it changes from year to year.  What if we get a COVID-19 vaccine and we all get shots for it next year – assuming by some miracle, the CDC develops one and the FDA approves it and it is universally available for next year’s season, and COVID-20 is the next threat?  Aren’t we then back to square one?

I also understand the experts are always trying to anticipate which flu strain will be active in the next season, but given a 30-40% success rate on the ‘ordinary’ flu vaccination, I’m not terribly confident in the CDC’s ability to anticipate the correct COVID strain on a yearly basis – particularly if some (bad actor) adversary decides to inflict another round of biological warfare on its economic or ideological rivals.  This is not meant to be a shot at the efforts of the CDC; it is just the reality of how difficult it is to fight the unknown.

One of my concerns is if we keep inoculating ourselves with more and more unnatural drugs or chemicals, we will upset our bodies’ natural ability to combat many other bugs that we fight off normally and naturally with a great degree of success.  We may well set in motion a teeter-totter effect in our bodies much like an addict needs to take uppers to stay awake, and downers to go to sleep resulting in a vicious cycle that could have a much more negative effect than if the vast majority of people would just take normal common sense care and allow our bodies to heal themselves.

Another concern is that we will begin seeing this ambulance chasing lawyer’s commercials in five years:

“If you have received shots containing the Anti-COVID-19 drug ABC produced by drug company XYZ, between 2021, and 2022, and have suffered itchy watery eyes, runny nose, chapped lips, excessive underarm perspiration, split hair ends, cracked nails, groin itch, and athletes’ foot, call the law office of Dewey, Cheatem, and Howe and we’ll sue (extort)  the ever loving Schiff out of them on your behalf with no cost to you unless we win for you”.  It could be another lottery day for another profession that needs to be reined in.

And about these lawsuits against companies that manufacture FDA or EPA approved products – how come the governmental approving agency is not sued, or held accountable for the resulting damages?  Why does a company such as XYZ, who spent the time and took the monetary risk to get a working product produced and approved by the government, have to ALWAYS face the repercussions of crippling lawsuits when they played by the rules and through no malice on their part, constantly run the risk of getting screwed by our system of injustice?

I suspect that is one of the main reasons over 90% of our drugs are produced in CHINA.

I am not looking to hold a pity-party for Big-Pharma, or any other company – just looking to be fair and objective.

That is all.

No One Elected Dr. Fauci to Run America for the Next 18 Months

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Funny, I don’t remember Dr. Anthony Fauci’s name being on the November, 2016 ballot.  – The updates from the White House Coronavirus Task Force have become a daily exercise in subliminal messaging for those who are paying close attention. Which, unfortunately, excludes the dimwitted members of the White House press corps. But I digress.

Let’s look at yesterday’s press conference. Even though he only came into the event for its second half, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, seems to be running our entire country right now. His remarks at this update made it very clear that he wants to run the country for another 12 to 18 months.

If you were paying attention to what he actually said during this presser, he told you that pretty clearly:

After US Health Secretary Alex Azar said a coronavirus vaccine candidate had been developed in three days, with a clinical trial already in the works, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the top infectious diseases advisor to the White House, sought to temper his enthusiasm.

Fauci, director of the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, said that the earliest the US could possibly get a vaccine would be in 12 or even 18 months — “at least.”

[End]

Now, that was a startling statement given that it came in the context of his answer to a question from a reporter about when we could expect our intentionally depressed business community to be able to restart and return to something resembling normalcy. Fauci made it very clear that he views this additional month of everyone staying at home and millions losing their livelihoods as just a starting point for his strategy for fighting this Wuhan Virus.

Meanwhile, President Trump, who has thus far seen fit to defer to Fauci’s judgment, continues to send a conflicting message: That once April is over, he is going to start working to get people back to work. Where Fauci obviously wants to keep everyone locked in their homes well into 2021, the President is obviously thinking that, once we get over the hump of this viral “curve,” people will be able to get back to work and their kids back to school, even if they have to go to those places wearing face masks and gloves.

What this means is that, at some point around mid-April, the President and Fauci are likely to end up in a major confrontation, out of which a unified strategy will emerge. If Fauci really thinks he’s been appointed by anyone to run our entire country for 18 months, he has a big surprise coming his way soon.

And let’s never forget that Dr. Fauci is the guy who wrote not one, but two love letters to Hillary Rodham Clinton a few years ago:

Warm regards, Tony

[End]

Given that throwing America into a deep, dark economic depression and keeping it there through November plays right into the hands of awful ghouls like the Pantsuit Princess, these two frankly stunning letters raise severe concerns about Fauci’s motivations in all of this, not to mention his overall judgment and self-awareness.

In all fairness to the lovelorn Dr. Fauci, he has just one job: To fight infectious disease. Now, it’s a job that he has not done especially well over his career, given that our country continues to lose 40-60,000 citizens each year to the seasonal flu. And let’s remember: Fauci  and the CDC continue to pretend that we actually have a “vaccine” for the various strains of seasonal flu. That’s a reality that should make everyone say “yikes.”

So, Fauci wants to keep you all out of work and stuck in your homes for another 18 months, without seeming to even consider the truth that millions upon millions of Americans will in fact lose those homes if he is able to keep them out of work for even a small fraction of that many months. Many are in fact losing their homes right now because they live paycheck to paycheck and couldn’t pay their rent for April.

And at the end of that long period of time, Fauci proclaims we will have us a spanking new “vaccine” that will in all likelihood be every bit as [in]effective as the “vaccine” for the seasonal flu. Meaning, even when we have that “vaccine,” tens of thousand of Americans are going to continue to die every year from the Wuhan Virus.

Thus, at some point President Trump – you know, the guy who was actually elected to run this country in 2016 – and Americans everywhere are going to have a decision to make much sooner than Fauci would like: We can either see thousands of our fellow citizens die each year destitute and cowering in their homes, or we can see thousands of our fellow citizens die from the Wuhan Virus while getting this country running again.

That’s the real choice here, not the fantasy of some miracle “vaccine” Dr. Fauci keeps peddling.

Our focus right now is properly on slowing the spread of the virus to get our country firmly on the downside of that viral curve. Once we are on that downside, our focus then should shift to marshaling all of our nation’s resources to early identification and isolation of those who contract the Wuhan Virus and effectively treating those who are ill. If we no longer have a strong economy, our ability to marshal such resources will diminish rapidly over time and more people will die as a result.

This is not, as the Democrat/media propaganda complex is already beginning to say, a “choice between money and lives.” It is a choice between prospering while limiting risk, or cowering through a dystopian existence that we intentionally brought on ourselves.

Sometime during the second half of April, you should expect President Trump to lay that choice out before us, and you should get ready to go back to work.

We’re Americans, dammit. When that time comes, let’s act like it.

That is all.
