Defense Production Act: Watch the Democrat/Media Narrative Turn on a Dime

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Watch as the talking points magically change. – The biggest news on Friday was that President Donald Trump moved to invoke the Defense Production Act (DPA) as it applies to General Motors. Not that you would necessarily know that, since the Democrat toadies in the fake, corrupt news media did their best to downplay this big news until they can obtain their new narrative talking points from the DNC on this particular issue. Because a new narrative is coming – bet on it.

Here is the text of the President’s order:

The White House
Office of the Press Secretary
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
March 27, 2020

Statement from the President Regarding the Defense Production Act

Today, I signed a Presidential Memorandum directing the Secretary of Health and Human Services to use any and all authority available under the Defense Production Act to require General Motors to accept, perform, and prioritize Federal contracts for ventilators. Our negotiations with GM regarding its ability to supply ventilators have been productive, but our fight against the virus is too urgent to allow the give-and-take of the contracting process to continue to run its normal course. GM was wasting time. Today’s action will help ensure the quick production of ventilators that will save American lives.

[End]

The President’s move comes after he had been hounded for a solid week by Democrat politicians and corrupt reporters in the White House press pool about why he activated the DPA about 10 days ago but before Friday had chosen not to target any company with it. Mr. Trump consistently responded that he had not needed to enforce the DPA because so many companies – like GM – were actually doing what the country needed them to do on a voluntary basis.

GM had come forward in mid-March and promised the Trump Administration that, because it had manufactured ventilators in previous years, it could quickly and easily convert at least one of its plants to do that again, and whip out about 40,000 new ventilators in short order for a reasonable price. But, when GM came back to the Administration this week and said that it now only wanted to make about 6,000 of these key pieces of health equipment, would take much more time than promised to do it, and wanted a lot more money per piece, the President decided not to tolerate this kind of double-dealing.

As is his habit, the President announced this major policy move on Twitter:

The “Mary B.” to whom Mr. Trump refers is GM CEO Mary Barra, a leftist clown who has basically run that once-great company into the ground over the past half-decade. As such, she is much-beloved by Democrat politicians  and corrupt journalists because, hey, from their perspective, being an inept CEO is great so long as your politics are right. Or should I say, left.

So, the Democrat/media propaganda complex that has spent the past week hammering the President to invoke the DPA against some company, any company, now has a new narrative conundrum. Do they continue to prod Mr. Trump in to more and more usage of the DPA, or do they now turn on a dime and pound on him for invoking it against one of their cult heroes and start calling him a dictatorial monster for doing so?

You can see where this is going to go, right?

Expect to see the new “Trump is a dictator!” narrative rolled out by leftwing talking heads and their corrupt media toadies on this week’s Sunday morning talk shows. It’s inevitable. This is what these people do.

That is all.

America Needs A Recall Process For Governors, Mayors And Congress

Guest contribution by Gregg Updike

Back in WWII, when we were still looking to win wars and solve things, our military and civilian leadership recognized that a certain number of peacetime generals and admirals were going to fail when the bullets started flying.  History is replete with leadership failures on all levels when push comes to shove.  Even taking out the subversive nature of many of today’s politicians, many otherwise good people are better than others at certain things.

In WWII when military leaders failed, or didn’t meet expectations, basically two things happened:  Culpable inefficiency was eliminated by the complete removal of the deficient officer; others, who fell short, were shifted to positions where their talents were better suited to overall success.  Failed combat leaders often failed because they were “casualty adverse”, or myopic, but they often excelled in training or logistics for example.

Since WWII our military gradually became more bureaucratic, technical, robotic, and political; we have more political (butt kissing first) officers than military (win first) officers.  Consequently, we can win tactical victories against any enemy, but we lose strategically due to politics (political correctness) at the pentagon and on the national civilian leadership level.

Thus we have what is going on when our nation faces new and heretofore unknown threats.  Think of it this way:

Our fifty states represent fifty army divisions led by fifty governors with the mayors being the lieutenants in charge of the various components within the division.  All, by necessity, have a certain amount of autonomy, but they must all fall under a certain overreaching controlling doctrine (set of laws, rules and guidelines/structure) to ensure a relatively uniform response to most anticipated crisis/problems that emerge from time to time.  Some leaders are destined to succeed to various degrees, some are destined to fail to various degrees, in their positions – it is as simple as that.

Unfortunately, in the political spectrum there is – with a few state exceptions – no mechanism to remove or transfer failed or marginal governors, mayors and others in positions of leadership, authority, or responsibility.

For example, the citizens of New York State and New York City must now endure the consequences of electing such marginal leadership and cannot remove it until the next election which is years away.  This China pandemic shows why it is so vital to elect good solid people rather than hacks just because they have certain name recognition, or belong to a certain political party.

Take the NY Governor:

A constant Trump critic who neglected to adequately stock a reserve of medical equipment in past years so he could address (“combat”) the dubious threat of climate change by funding “green energy”.  He probably had problems with Trump’s early Chinese travel ban, then for sure criticized the president for NOT being a dictator and mobilizing the military soon enough.  Now as the actual facts have come out and as certain areas of his state have suffered greatly, he has become one of Trump’s greatest fans – we’re all in this together…

Now politics comes into play: With the disaster that is the Democratic presidential nominating process, the DNC desperately needs a competent (looking) alternative to their current candidates.  Suddenly the New York Governor becomes “gubernatorial”, and praises Trump’s response and actions ON A NATIONAL LEVEL.

Now he is griping and moaning that the TWO TRILLION DOLLAR economic “cure” doesn’t have enough funding (pork) to help New York.  Which is it governor?  Is Trump and Congress doing a good job, or not. Make up your mind.

Take the NYC Mayor:

Bloomberg’s successor, and a marginal mayor to begin with, he actually felt he had a real shot at running for president, until his embryotic campaign crashed and burned.  Also a major critic of the president, he and his health department early on discounted the threat of the China virus and called for massive celebrations in the city’s Chinatown district to celebrate the Chinese New Year.  Now we have this infected cluster in and around HIS city.  Naturally he calls on the federal government (Trump) to fix it, yet still undermines that effort with words and deeds.

To conclude:  There have been many political leaders who have stood up and have tackled this head on and are doing very well, some are doing ok, and some are absolutely failing their citizens.  This threat allows for a very short learning curve, and some leader’s poor decisions are quickly rectified; others are not.  Hopefully, the deficient ones will be removed at their next election.

In the interim, the failed leaders, if they had any decency, would either learn from their mistakes, put politics aside, and get on board and unite for the common good and accept shared sacrifice.  They could also do the right thing and admit that they are not up to the task and resign.  However, in most cases, pride and ego will not allow them to do that.

To conclude, like in the military, we need a recall mechanism to be put in place that would allow for the recall and removal of failed or incompetent leaders and judges, nationwide.  In the past, we could sort of survive poor political leaders and their actions when the threats moved more slowly, or happened very quickly in an episodic nature (9-11 for example), or were known.  That is not the case today.  Many things just move too quickly and need for calm and competency in needed more now than ever.

We need to make sure that we elect the best people to important positions and have the means to remove people for cause when they fail in their duties to protect and serve their citizens.  However, the removal process cannot be for frivolous reasons and recall mechanisms must be put in place that are fair and allow for mistakes and unpopular decisions.

I realize this could become a slippery slope, but our nation cannot continue to be held hostage by individual and near permanent members of congress, judges, and other officials who completely defy the will of the vast majority of the people for years on end.  Several states have recall provisions in their constitutions and occasionally recall attempts are made and some succeed (Gov. Davis of CA) and some fail (Gov. Walker of WI).

The point is, just having a recall mechanism would force politicians and judges to be more aware of and responsive to the needs and desires of the people.  In the states that allow for recall we do not see massive or frequent recall efforts, or political chaos, so, if done right, a recall system could become an important safeguard to liberty and be a big benefit to the country.  It would need to be a constitutional amendment to ensure fairness and consistency.

Friday Follies: NATO, Trump Polls and New York Ventilator Madness

The only real question here is, why? – Readers will be thrilled to know that the country of [checks notes] North Macedonia is now a proud member of the NATO Alliance:

Now, God bless Secretary of State Mike Pompeo – he’s just doing his job here. But let’s be real: The reason why NATO exists is as a mutual protection pact against aggression from Russia. Is the U.S. really prepared to wage war on Russia if it should attack the nation of [checks notes again] North freakin’ Macedonia? Are we really going to expend American lives and treasure in a war to save a country that very few Americans even know exists?

And hell, let’s really get to the point: Why does NATO even really need to exist at all today? Why does the U.S. continue to spend many billions every year to protect Western European nations who are too lazy to provide for their own defense?

Yeah, I know – I’m just spittin’ into the wind here. Let’s move on.

Ventilators? What ventilators? – If you’ve been paying attention over the past two weeks, you have heard the corrupt media, along with New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and New York City’s buffoon communist Mayor Bill DeBlasio whining to to rafters about NY City hospitals being overwhelmed and not having enough ventilators.

Well, take a look at this:

No photo description available.

That’s right: 2,000 ventilators delivered early this week by FEMA sitting unused in a damn warehouse unused. The reality is that New York politicians are playing the same sleazy game as their counterparts in Puerto Rico played, hiding massive supplies in a warehouse supposedly need to “save lives” in an effort to harm the President politically.

This is dangerous madness, and it needs to stop.

Democrat/media panic explained in two screenshots. – In today’s RealClearPolitics average of polls, President Trump’s approval average is 47.3%. On Election Day, 2016, it was 37.5%.

No photo description available.

No photo description available.

This is why the media and their Democrat masters are in such a wild panic right now. This is why New York Democrat politicians are hiding ventilators in warehouses. This is why Democrat governors in Nevada and Michigan are actively denying their citizens access to hydroxychloroquine, a cheap, safe and plentiful drug that has been proven effective in fighting COVID-19.

This is why we saw these insane displays from Democrat House members on the floor this morning:

TDS is a very real thing, folks. These people and their corrupt media toadies are losing their damn minds. What a spectacle. Somebody pass the popcorn.

Media Hysteria Notwithstanding, The Real Numbers on COVID-19 Are Actually Encouraging

Listen to the experts, follow the real data and ignore the corrupt news media. – As our corrupt news media establishment continues to work overtime to try to foment panic among the public, it is becoming increasingly apparent from the real numbers on the ground that the outbreak of the China Virus, COVID-19, is not likely to be as widespread as some have feared. You don’t have to believe me about it: All you have to believe is the experts, and the numbers.

Let’s start in England, where alarmists at Imperial College dramatically downgraded their previous wild projections of the spread of the disease this week:

So, in one day, the projection drops from a wildly over-blown 500,000 UK deaths to 20,000, a reduction of 96%.

Oh.

Now, let’s move to America, where our corrupt news media, in its endless zeal to do harm to President Donald Trump, has been making similar wild projections on a daily basis through either rank stupidity or – more likely – an intentional effort to create mass panic. Over the past two days, Dr. Deborah Birx, a woman renowned for her expertise in this field, has twice lectured the media for its outrageous conduct, albeit in a calm and pleasant way that only she can do.

In case you missed them because you either could not watch the press conferences live or because your favorite media outlet refused to mention these crucial facts, below are two clips followed by transcripts lovingly and laboriously prepared by yours truly.

First, from Wednesday’s press conference:

Dr. Birx: I know it has become a place where people are looking at numbers, rather than what is needed. Because when you do these projections, when you got to those projections that said – like a Germany and others that implied that 60% or 50% of the population would get infected – I want to be very clear: The only way that happens is if this virus remains continuously moving through populations in this cycle, in the fall cycle, and another cycle. So that’s three cycles with nothing being done.

We’re dealing with Cycle A right now, not the one that could come in the fall of 2020, and we’re getting prepared for it by innovations that are being worked. And not the 2021. We’re really dealing with the here and now while we’re planning for the future.

And I think the numbers that have been put out there are very frightening to people. But I can tell you if you go back and look at Wuhan and Hubei and all of these provinces, when they talk about 60,000 people being infected, even if you said, alright, well, there’s asymptomatics and all of that, so you get to 600,000 people out of 80 million. That is nowhere close to the numbers that you see people putting out there.

I think it has frightened the American people, I think that on a model that you just run full-out that you can get to those numbers if you have zero controls and you do nothing. We know that every American is doing something.

So, I think what our job right now is is to carefully detail, on a hospital by hospital, state by state, county by county level, to outline what the infrastructure needs are and ensure that we are meeting them, both from the stockpile, and from the movement and the generosity of the American people and other hospitals.

[End]

Now, since the corrupt media just kept on putting out bad information after Wednesday’s polite lecture, here is Dr. Birx reinforcing those messages as they relate specifically to New York at Thursday’s press conference:

Dr. Birx: Then finally the situation about ventilators: We were reassured in a meeting with our colleagues in New York that there are still ICU beds remaining, and there are still significant – over a thousand or two thousand – ventilators that have not been utilized yet.

Please, for the reassurance of people around the world, to wake up this morning and look at people talking about creating DNR situations – Do Not Resuscitate situations for patients – there is no situation in the United States right now that warrants that kind of discussion.

You can be thinking about it in a hospital; certainly, many hospitals talk about this on a daily basis. But to say that to the American people, to make the implication that when they need a hospital bed it’s not going to be there, or when they need that ventilator it’s not going to be there, we don’t have an evidence of that right now.

And it’s our job collectively to assure the American people that, it’s our collective job to make sure that does not happen. Right now, you can see these cases are concentrated in highly-urban areas. There are other parts of the state that have lots of ventilators, and other parts of New York State that don’t have a lot of infections right now.

So we can be creative. We can meet the need by being responsive. But there’s no model right now, no reality on the ground where we can see that 60-70% of Americans are going to get infected in the next 8 to 12 weeks. I just want to be clear about that. So we’re adapting to the reality on the ground. We’re looking at the models and how they can inform, but we are also learning very clearly from South Korea, and from Italy, and from Spain.

[End]

There, clear enough? Certainly, it will be to any reader of Today’s Campaign Update, since you are all well-meaning and intelligent people with actual functioning synapses in your cranial cavities.

But what about the hate-filled, rage-filled liberal clowns who infest the corrupt news media? All you need to do is look at how former Clinton press secretary Joe Lockhart, himself a paid contributor at CNN, responded  to Dr. Birx’s Thursday comments:

The guy’s such an ignorant jackass that he can’t even spell her name correctly. And he is utterly typical of the people working in the corrupt national news media today.

Don’t get me wrong here: I am not attempting to downplay the seriousness of this virus. All I am trying to do is deal with reality, and with the facts on the ground. We should all be watching the daily Coronavirus Task Force updates, and updates provided by our state and local officials.

My wife and I are staying at home, other than trips to the grocery and drug stores. We are washing our hands 25 times a day, if not more. We are social distancing like a couple of fiends. We are driving our cat stark, raving mad with our constant presence in the house. We are following every piece of advice that these experts and public officials are giving us, and so should you.

What we are NOT doing is spending even a moment watching CNN or MSNBC or any of the three major broadcast networks, because we know that we will get nothing but corrupt disinformation from all of those sources.

This is the model of behavior that everyone should be following, because it is the model of behavior that will get our country past this viral outbreak and our lives returned to some semblance of normalcy as soon as possible.

Let’s all deal with facts and reality: The best way to do that is to ignore the corrupt news media.

That is all.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Wants to Keep America Hostage to China

The Evening Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, #EnemyOfThePeople. – Hat tip to the guys at the Conservative Treehouse for calling this one out. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is now heavily lobbying the Trump Administration to not move ahead with an executive order beefing up mandates on Big Pharma and other medical supply multi-national companies to bring their damn supply chains out of China and back to America.

Because of course this is what the CofC is doing. The CofC is one of the most anti-Trump – and in this case, anti-America – institutions in the nation’s capital. It has used its pernicious influence to undermine Trump’s policies on illegal immigration so that its huge corporate members can continue enjoying the fruits of cheap labor, and now it is using its pernicious influence to try to ensure that our country remains outrageously over-reliant on China for our medicines and healthcare supplies.

From a report by Reuters on the matter:

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and dozens of other business and trade groups urged U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow and other top U.S. officials to drop plans for the order, arguing it would also damage U.S. trading relationship for years to come.

“Preventing federal agencies from sourcing medical equipment and pharmaceutical ingredients from abroad … would only exacerbate the supply shortages racking the United States,” said a letter from the groups, which was also addressed to Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross and U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer.

White House trade adviser Peter Navarro, a long-time trade hawk who is crafting the order, told Fox News late on Wednesday evening that he expected movement on the issue shortly.

“The president’s gonna get that done soon,” Navarro told Fox News’ “Hannity” program, without giving an exact date.

The push has sparked concern in China and elsewhere, rekindling tensions with Beijing at a moment when global leaders are calling for a coordinated response to the outbreak.

Let’s review what is at stake here for Americans:

  • This virus originated in China in November;
  • The communist Chinese government lied to the global community for two solid  months;
  • During those two months, an average 10,000 Chinese citizens came to America EVERY DAY, creating the epidemic we are now dealing with by shutting down 75% of our economy;
  • The very same dynamic took place in pretty much every country on earth;
  • Today,  thanks to all the horrible trade deals that the CofC lobbied the Bush/Clinton/Bush/Obama Administrations to implement over the 28 years before Trump took office, our country is reliant on supply chains that at least in part move through China for over 90% of our pharmaceutical products and medical supplies;
  • And the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and its giant multi-national corporate members want to keep it that way.

Bottom line, the CofC must be defeated. When you go to the polls this fall, vote for candidates who are NOT taking money from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Unless, of course, those candidates are Democrats. We must end this group’s destructive power in the nation’s capital.

That is all.

How the New York Times Fakes News About Ventilators

Today’s Campaign Update, Part III (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Alex Berenson, himself a former reporter at the New York Times, has a great Twitter thread this morning detailing how his former employer is intentionally mis-informing its readers regarding the real number of ventilators that the nations hospitals will need to deal with the China Virus outbreak.

The content of Berenson’s Twitter thread is detailed below. It should be required reading in every home in America.

Thus, rather than the “million” ventilators that the NYTimes falsely claims will be needed based on faulty data, the maximum number is vastly lower than that. And the real problem, which the Times basically ignores, is that our country likely only has trained staff necessary to safely operate a maximum of about 56,000 such machines.

This is the kind of intentional news-fakery aimed solely at causing harm to President Donald Trump that corrupt media outlets have used to cause needless panic across the United States. It is the kind of irresponsble media behavior for which, when all of the dust has settled from this national crisis, our country simply must find some way to hold corrupt reporters, editors and media executives accountable.

Because if we cannot find some way to adequately police what has become possibly the single most corrupt and irresponsible corporate business segment in our society today, they will only behave even more irresponsibly in the future.

Corrupt Media Outlets: Damned if They do Cover Trump, Damned if They Don’t

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Just in case you were still laboring under the delusion that CNN and MSNBC are actual “news” organizations, know this: When President Donald Trump (I never tire of typing those three glorious words) had to leave his daily Coronavirus Task Force press briefing early yesterday, turning it over to Vice President Mike Pence and doctors Anthony Fauci and Deborah Birx, the corrupt reporters for CNN and MSNBC also left.

What does that tell you? It tells you that CNN and MSNBC view their sole purpose for covering those events as an effort to cause some controversy involving the President in their neverending efforts to damage him personally. Their corrupt reporters are not there to hear from the experts; they aren’t there to gather real-time information about the China Virus pandemic so that they can convey it to their viewers; they are are there with a single, overarching goal in mind, which is to find a way to damage the President of the United States, who is himself focused on steering a nation of 339 million people through a major crisis.

Think about it: These same two corrupt media outlets went nuts earlier this week when Dr. Fauci was not present for 3 of the updates over a span of 5 days. They ran story after story and convened TV panel after TV panel claiming Fauci was being unfairly excluded from the events because he had disagreed with the President on the potential of hydorxychloroquine as a coronavirus treatment.

But Dr. Fauci chastised reporters on Sunday and Monday for attempting to drive a wedge between him and the President, stating that it was “not helpful” and demanding that they stop. Since he did that, these utterly corrupt media outlets suddenly have no interest in hearing from the guy they were portraying as the second coming of Mother Teresa and Albert Einstein not even a week ago.

If he isn’t useful in creating negative “news” about the President, he isn’t useful to them, period.

This pattern is certainly not limited to CNN and MSNBC – they are simply the most blatant about their bias and corruption, parading those traits out there on the air and websites every day like figurative badges of honor. It really applies to all the major networks, newspapers and magazines in the country – even to Fox News, although to a somewhat lesser extent.

We hear a lot of conservative voices complaining about the idiotic behavior of the reporters at these daily updates, but I think that is actually a very good thing for our country. As the New York Post reported yesterday, these events are attracting huge ratings, serving both as substitutes for the massive rallies the President is unable to hold during this crisis and as a window for the public to view the utterly irresponsible and unhinged behavior of the press corps.

From that New York Post article:

President Trump’s daily White House coronavirus briefings are a ratings hit.

The president, who has taken the lead in the task force’s daily updates to the nation, has attracted an average audience of about 8.5 million viewers on cable news — about the number of viewers who watched the season finale of “The Bachelor,” The New York Times reported on Wednesday, citing Nielsen numbers.

And as the outbreak continues to surge across the country and more Americans abide by shelter-in-place orders in a number of states, the viewership is increasing.

Monday’s briefing drew 12.2 million people on CNN, MSNBC and Fox News, ratings similar to those of “Monday Night Football.”

Fox News has benefited from the briefings, with the cable network attracting 6.2 million viewers on Monday, numbers on par with popular prime-time shows.

The newspaper said millions more are watching on the traditional networks — ABC, CBS and NBC, as well as online — but they offer less reliable numbers than the cable stations because of the way Nielsen ratings are measured.

[End]

So, millions of Americans – especially younger ones – are really getting their first taste of exactly how idiotic and overwrought the White House press corps really is, thanks to these daily briefings. At the same time, they are also getting a big dose of the real Donald Trump, coming to them live on their TV screens without any filter  from corrupt and biased talking heads.

The corrupt media organizations began to wake up to this monster they have helped to create last week, when polls showing high public approval for the President’s handling of the crisis began to come out. There is so much concern over this phenomenon now in Democrat/media propaganda land that we have seen a steady drumbeat of op/eds advocating for the TV outlets to actually stop covering the updates live in recent days.

But that’s a big problem: These updates have now become ‘must-see TV’ in tens of millions of homes across America, as people going stir crazy from being shut-in hunger for any news that might give them an idea of when their sheltering-in-place might come to a merciful end.

If the corrupt TV outlets now move to deny them this form of daily entertainment, they face a potential backlash that could be severe. It would be like denying people their daily dose of Wheel of Fortune.

It’s a real conundrum.

The simple reality is this: President Trump has broken the corrupt news media, likely forever. He has now put them in a spot in which they are damned if they do cover these daily updates, and damned if they stop covering them. Given the sorry conduct of these corrupt media outlets over the last four years, that is a very just reward.

That is all.

Pelosi, Sisolak Take TDS Depravity Beyond The Pale

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Some mid-day notes everyone should be aware of:

America’s universities in action. – Harvard University has the largest university endowment on the face of the earth, currently estimated at over $40 billion. Yesterday, as reported by the Washington Free Beacon, Harvard laid off its dining hall workers in an effort to “cut costs”:

A Harvard spokesman said he was unable to provide the Free Beacon with the number of subcontract employees in dining services. In 2018, the New York Times reported that the university dining halls employed 275 subcontractors.

Based on the local living wage standard, it would cost Harvard $710,000 to provide four weeks of full-time paid leave for all of its subcontracted dining employees. This represents 0.001 percent of Harvard’s endowment.

Other universities that have transitioned to online classes have handled the situation with contract employees differently. The University of Chicago said last week it would continue paying its subcontract workers through the end of the academic year. The University of Chicago has an endowment of $8.5 billion, around one-fifth the size of Harvard’s.

Disgusting.

Speaking of disgusting people… – San Fran Nan is holding up the passage of the senate stimulus bill again. As reported by the Daily Caller, Pelosi is now using arcane House procedures as a tactic for delaying any action by her chamber for at least one more day:

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi delayed the passage of the Senate’s coronavirus relief package on Wednesday, as the House was in session for nearly three minutes and then adjourned until Thursday.

“House Democrats will now review the final provisions and legislative text of the agreement to determine a course of action,” Pelosi said about the nearly $2 trillion emergency relief deal which will be voted on Wednesday afternoon in the Senate after a long night of negotiations. Meaning, the House will not be able to vote on the package for another day.

This is yet another clear effort by Pelosi to cause another day of negative stock market reaction. She will do literally anything, including throwing people out of jobs and causing more human misery, in her neverending zeal to harm President Trump. The woman is a sub-human ghoul, a clear domestic enemy.

Speaking of Democrat ghouls… – The Democrat Governor of Nevada, Steve Sisolak, last night issued an executive order denying coronavirus patients access to hydroxychloroquine, the safe, well-known medication that has been proven in multiple peer-reviewed studies as an effective treatment for the China Flu. As reported by Sifi.com:

Despite the world including India pinning the hope on anti-malaria drugs to treat serious COVID-19 patients, Nevadas governor has ordered to ban use of chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine to treat new coronavirus patients.

The governor’s executive order came after US President Donald Trump termed the drugs as a potential treatment for treating the illness, reports NYPost.

A man in US state of [Arizona] died and his wife was in critical condition after taking “an additive used to clean fish tanks called chloroquine phosphate, similar to the drug used to treat malaria”.

[End]

Thus, we have a Democrat Governor, in a zeal to do political harm to the U.S. President, banning a safe and effective treatment to patients in danger of dying because a couple of idiots decided to ingest fish tank cleaner. It’s akin to banning the use of Clorox to bleach white shirts because a couple of kids found a bottle of it under the kitchen sink and had to have their stomachs pumped.

This is a special kind of Trump Derangement Syndrome depravity, folks. It is utterly beyond the pale.

That is all, for now.

Biden Bumbles, Stumbles and Mumbles as Trump’s Approval Ratings Soar

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Trump’s numbers are booming. – Two new polls released on Tuesday show President Donald Trump gaining popularity thanks to his handling of this China Virus crisis. His overall approval ratings reached new highs in both the Gallup Poll (49%) and the latest HarrisX Survey (54%). The Gallup poll now pegs his approval for his handling of the China Virus at a whopping 60%, with just 38% disapproval.

This is very troubling news for the elder abusers attempting to pass Quid Pro Joe Biden off as someone who can handle the job. Very troubling news indeed.

They never should’ve given up on Operation Hide The Geezer. – For a week there, the world was Quid Pro Joe’s oyster. His recent sweeps of state after state after state in his nomination contest with The Commie, combined with government advisories to stay at home and avoid contact with others had provided the nation’s Unfrozen Caveman Senator and his evil staff the perfect excuse to keep their obviously declining candidate under wraps.

The inability to hold more campaign “rallies” is a blessing to Creepy Uncle Joe.  Think of it: No more need to partition off small high school gymnasiums with temporary walls at mid-court because he couldn’t fill them up. No more ability for the handsy candidate to incur embarrassing videos of him inappropriately fondling young girls and other people’s wives.  No more uncontrollable live events where his handlers risk the clearly impaired candidate going off-script and referring to God as “you know, the thing.” No more opportunities for the “tough guy” Biden to curse, insult and challenge auto workers to a fight when they ask him semi-tough questions.

It was without doubt an elder abuser’s dream world. They could have let the Geezer sit in his study for weeks, maybe months, doing nothing but pretending to sign off on press releases and tweets written for him by others and no one in the corrupt news media would have said boo about it. Hell, most of them would have gone on and on about what a statesman he was being, setting such a great example for the rest of the population.

Why, nobody shelters in place like that great American, Joe Biden, by golly!

But it is always the natural tendency of campaign professionals to “do something,” and when they began to see President Donald Trump’s public approval ratings shooting up as the people started taking his daily public briefings seriously, the alarm bells sounded in Bidenland. Even more threatening in the nearer term, they saw New York Governor Andrew Cuomo doing his own daily briefings and receiving increasing praise from the same corrupt media toadies that have been in the tank for Quid Pro Joe. With every passing day, it seemed to them that Cuomo was becoming more and more of a threat to sweep into the July convention in Milwaukee in the role of the “white night” to save the party from nominating an increasingly incapacitated candidate.

Thus it was that after just one week of successfully hiding the Geezer, Biden’s abusive handlers decided they had to roll him out in front of the cameras again. They touted their latest scam as an effort by Quid Pro Joe to hold regular counter-briefings so he can “correct the record” because of all of the evil Trump’s “lies” to the American public. They set up a handy teleprompter and video feed in the study of Biden’s palatial home and handed him an 8-minute script in a gigantic font for the Geezer to hopefully read verbatim.

That approach almost worked semi-well during Biden’s first “counter-briefing,” until the teleprompter malfunctioned, causing Biden to start stammering and gesturing to his staff to get the damn thing scrolling again:

That was Monday’s fiasco. Things only got worse on Tuesday, as the Biden handlers decided to throw all caution to the wind and roll him out there for a series of softball interviews on CNN, ABC and MSNBC.

Appearing with the execrable hack Jake Tapper on CNN, Quid Pro Joe repeatedly coughed into his fist, so many times that Tapper felt the need to give the former Vice President of the United States instructions on the proper way to cough into his elbow, a decades-old technique of which the Geezer was apparently blissfully unaware:

In an interview on MSNBC with despicable Nicolle Wallace, Quid Pro Joe repeatedly got confused and stopped in mid-sentence:

In that same interview, the pathetic fan girl was so anxious to get rid of him that she felt the need to say thank you no fewer than seven times:

The coup de gras came in an appearance on ABC News. There he was asked by Sara Haynes if President Trump is right when he says “we can’t let the cure be worse than the virus itself.”

Biden’s answer: “We have to take care of the cure. That will make the problem worse no matter what.”

I swear I don’t make this stuff up:

Naturally, the liberal activist Haynes had no follow-up question to that gibberish answer.

But the reality for the Biden camp is that they cannot expect to survive the grueling campaign to come via corrupt media bias alone. As this post demonstrates, these clips are viewed by millions of people every day on social media. Try as they might, the evil minions who spend their days censoring conservative thought and speech on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and all the other platforms are simply not capable of hiding them from a curious public.

Don’t get me wrong: They can almost certainly make it to the July convention through media bias and censorship, because the Democrat voter base is really good at refusing to deal with reality. But the general election campaign is an entirely different animal, one that cannot be rigged by the DNC. And the reality of the Unfrozen Caveman Senator is that he is clearly and unambiguously not competent to hold the office of the presidency.

Biden’s abusive handlers and family would do well to reconsider this latest failing strategy, and re-implement Operation Hide the Geezer. Hide him all the way to July if you can, and then hope for a miracle in the fall.

That’s not an especially good strategy, but when you’re actively trying to force an impaired candidate into the White House, it’s the best one available.

That is all.
