Saturday Scattershooting While Wondering Whatever Happened To That Delightful Jill Stein?

Today’s Campaign Update

  • Funniest Story of the Week – This is a little off the beaten path for the Campaign Update, but it’s too awesome to ignore.  Turns out that trying to stage a Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in China is a little more challenging than organizers had originally hoped.  Tone deaf singer Katy Perry was scheduled to perform at the event, but was unable to obtain a visa when Chinese officials were informed that, during a 2015 concert in Taipei, Ms. Perry wore a dress adorned with great big sunflowers.  Given that the sunflower has been adopted as a symbol by anti-government rebels, the government has decided that Ms. Perry is now persona non grata.  #Irony
  • California Dreamin’, er, nightmare – Public officials in California continue to get caught abusing their constituents, but somehow the situation out there just keeps getting worse.  The Desert Sun reports that two towns, Coachella and Indio, in a money-raising scheme, partnered with the law firm of Silver and Wright to prosecute their citizens for warrants outstanding on minor crimes.  The deal with the shysters provided that, not only would the offending citizen be on the hook for the fines related to their violations, they would also get billed for massive legal fees charged by the law firm.  Thus, one guy who owed a $900 fine for expanding his living room without a permit got hit with legal bills for $26,000. When he appealed, the legal bill went up to $42,000.  In Texas, city leaders who tried a scam like this one would soon have their butts severely kicked.  In California, they’ll probably all get re-elected.
  • ESPN Continues Its Assault On Middle America – Long-time ESPN host Scott Van Pelt proved this week that the folks at ESPN don’t care if anyone outside of the social justice warrior community watches their programming or not, having this to say about ordinary Americans who get upset about all the leftwing political commentary that continues to infest the dying network’s programming:

“If you truly wanna boycott the NFL and you wanna boycott ESPN, the notion that some guy sitting out there, or gal, and they decide, ‘you know what, I’m gonna cut my entire cable package because ESPN gave an award on a made-up show in July because there’s no sports, to a woman who used to be a man, so I’m now not gonna have any cable TV at all and I’m gonna sit around at night and read books by candlelight like olden times because of that,’ that’s not happening. And if you did that, than you’re so dumb that I can’t even pray for you because you’re beyond hope.”  Alrighty then.

  • Someone Give Ted Lieu a Pacifier, Quick! – Terminally insipid California Democrat Cong. Ted Lieu tossed a fit on CNN Friday evening after Attorney General Jeff Sessions made some pretty funny opening remarks at a speech before the Federalist Society in Washington.  Sessions, mocking the Democrats’ unending Russia collusion fantasy play, started his speech by facetiously asking, “Is Ambassador Kislyak in the room?” Sessions asked the crowd. “Before I get started here. Any Russians? Anybody been to Russia? Got a cousin in Russia or something?”  Funny stuff, given the idiocy the AG has had to endure from Democrat sleazebags this year over a meeting he had fifteen months ago with the Russian Ambassador while still a Senator.
  • But Ted Lieu, who is never amused, was predictably not amused.  “Jeff Sessions still doesn’t get it,” Lieu told CNN’s fake host Wolf Blitzer, “He is not in trouble because he happened to be in places where there were Russians.”  Lieu of course ignores the fact that his Democrat colleagues on several congressional committees have tried to make a huge deal of the fact that, last November, Sessions did happen to be at the same reception as the Russian Ambassador.   But, to paraphrase the great Forrest Gump, Ted Lieu is as Ted Lieu does.  And that’s all I got to say about that.
  • One must be careful how one criticizes anything having to do with the Clintons if one wishes to remain healthy – Campaign workers on both the Bernie Sander and Hillary Clinton campaigns claimed on Friday they were sexually harassed by campaign officials, and were disillusioned with the fact that neither campaign appropriately addressed their situations.  But, the Clinton campaign worker, obviously in fear for her safety, hastily adds, “When I criticize the Hillary campaign, I am not criticizing her.”  Good catch there.  You should be ok, for now.

Just another day in leftwing lunacy America.

That is all.

What A Sad Existence It Must Be To Fake The News For CNN And The NYTimes

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Actor Keven Spacey, who has apparently had a habit of preying on young boys over the last 30-plus years, played the traditional “I’m sick” card yesterday, checking into the very same rehab facility used by Harvey Weinstein.  Weinstein managed to last a whole week before he just couldn’t take anymore curing and decided to declare himself “cured” and fly the coop.  Of course, Spacey is an actor, not a mere producer like Weinstein, so we can expect Spacey to keep up this facade of seeking help for quite a bit longer, because that’s what actors who prey on children do.
  • We can always hope. – The Hollywood Reporter runs a piece this morning by some guy named Stephen Galloway titled “Harassment, Scandal and the Media: Is a Hollywood Witch Hunt Brewing?” My reaction to that is dang, let’s hope so, since there sure do seem to be a lot of witches running around Hollywood, assaulting women and little boys.
  • The writer’s big concern is that, golly, the bad ol’ fake news media – a news media that had huddled happily in Tinseltown’s hip pocket for the last century – might not exercise proper care and will start airing accusations at all those innocent people as well as the guilty.  Obviously this guy hasn’t heard that the New York Times actually had the goods on Weinstein in 2004, and chose to sit on the story rather than upset its advertising revenue, or that Ronan Farrow was turned down with his own story on Weinstein by NBC before finding a home for it elsewhere.  Or that fake news media icon Barbara Walters viciously attacked Corey Feldman when he appeared on The View in 2013 to talk about his and the late Corey Haim’s experience with Hollywood’s pedophile mafia.
  • To this point, the fake news media has been far more interested in covering up for Hollywood’s monsters than in carelessly pointing fingers at anyone who is innocent.  And let’s be honest, the same is true of all those actors, directors and producers who have piously lined up to claim “I didn’t know” after having worked closely with Weinstein, Spacey and other monsters for the last 30 years.  They were all more than happy to hide the monsters in their midst as long as the monsters might benefit their careers in some way.
  • This….is CNN. – The fake reporters and editors and hosts at CNN are so anxious to portray President Donald Trump as an incompetent boob that they resorted on Monday to intentionally editing a video of him feeding Koi fish with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in a way to fasely portray him as breaking protocol.  The video, as edited, shows the President following the Prime Minister’s lead in spooning food from a box into the Koi pond, and then shows Mr. Trump pouring the remainder of the food from the box, as CNN’s commentators claim he just got tired of spooning the food.  The unedited video, of course, shows that the President was simply following the Prime Minister’s lead in emptying the box after a few spoonfuls had gone into the pond.
  • How sad an existence must it be to get up out of bed every morning believing that it is your job as an employee of CNN to intentionally mislead the American public?  Sad!
  • Wait, what? – Speaking of sad existences, Brett Stephens, the NYTimes’ latest fake conservative op/ed mascot, told the nitwits who host “Morning Joe” on Monday that conservatives can’t cite a “single instance” of anyone “us[ing] their guns to protect their liberties.”  This statement ironically came less than 24 hours after someone using his guns protected not only his, but a bunch of other peoples’ civil liberties by shutting down the leftist Antifa disciple who was wantonly killing people in a Baptist church in Sutherland Springs, Texas.
  • It is not surprising that Mr. Stephens is not aware of that element of the story – he does work for the NYTimes, after all – or that he is unaware of the literally thousands of instances of armed citizens protecting their homes, families and civil liberties from assault by thugs that take place each year around the country.  Nor is it surprising that no one on the Morning Joe lineup of lunatics had the presence of mind to correct him, since they’re all locked in the NYTimes fake news bubble themselves.  The only surprising thing about any of this really is that the NYTimes’ editors still feel the need to hire liberal idiots to pretend to be “conservative” writers on the fake newspaper’s op/ed pages.  Why continue a facade that no one believes?
  • Oh, wait – that literally describes the daily modus operandi of our country’s entire national news media.  Nevermind.

Just another day in shamelessly Fake News Media America.

That is all.

How To Keep Up With Trump Change, i.e., Why Whatfinger > Drudge

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • I get a lot of questions from readers and friends, but here’s one I get frequently:  How do you keep up with everything that’s going on these days?  That question is almost inevitably followed with, How do you decide what to write about each day?
  • These are great questions, because there is no doubt that the news – both real news being generated by public policy, world events and the incredible pace of radical change being implemented by the Trump Presidency, and fake news being generated by myriad false narratives coming from the Democrats and their agents in the fake news media – moves at a rapid pace, a far faster pace than we have ever experienced before.  I think some readers think there is some sort of magic involved here, but in reality, it’s just a matter of getting up early and using the right tools.
  • I get up at 5:00 every weekday morning – I try to sleep in until 6:00 on weekends – and start my process of scanning the news.  I turn on the TV, and keep it mainly on “Fox and Friends,” not necessarily because I enjoy it all that much, but mainly because I find the morning programs on CNN and MSNBC to be pretty much unwatchable at this point.  Joe and Mika are just a couple of TMZ wannabes these days, and the hosts on CNN are two of the most singularly dimwitted people I’ve ever seen in my entire life.  Expecting to obtain any real, honest information out of any of these people is the errand of a fool, and I’m too old to spend any time running that kind of errand anymore.  Sorry.
  • But in reality, I’m a reader, and I get most of my news input online, and the vast majority of that is initiated from just a couple of places:  Twitter, and my favorite news aggregation site, Whatfinger.com.
  • I started using Twitter back in 2011 after a very smart person who I highly respect told me she that was where gets pretty much all of her news.  Prior to that, I had considered Twitter to be a toy and a waste of time, but I figured hey, if she’s using it maybe I need to give it a shot, too.  So I established an account and was immediately hooked.  Twitter has a lot of drawbacks, not least of which is that people tend to lose their social filters on social media, but when managed correctly through the use of lists and muting and/or blocking of annoying riff-raff, becomes a valuable tool for quickly getting up to speed.
  • Where news aggregation is concerned, most people immediately default to the Drudge Report, and I did that too, until about a year ago.  I can’t remember how or why I first became aware of Whatfinger.com, but I imagine I just stumbled across it during one of my morning news feeding frenzies.  I know it was in the final days prior to the election because I remember how glad I felt to come across it at such an intense time.
  • Don’t get me wrong here:  Drudge is still great, and everyone should be eternally grateful to Matt Drudge, because in the mid-90s he, along with Fox News, permanently destroyed the ability of the Democrats and their agents in the fake news media to completely control the narrative, tenor and slant on the news we all consume each day.
  • But in our new world, where the big story changes multiple times almost every day, Whatfinger is just better.  The first reason for this is just the volume of the content.  I’m a guy who never, never ever goes beyond the landing page of any aggregation site or Google search.  Don’t have time for it, seldom find anything useful or current beyond Page 1.  On its landing page, Whatfinger always links to at least three times as many current, relevant stories as you will find on the Drudge Report, and they appear to be updated on pretty much an hourly basis.
  • The second reason is organization.  The Drudge model is just to throw links to about a hundred stories or so up onto his landing page in a pretty much random order.  Whatfinger groups its stories into a series of specific categories.  If you want opinion columns, here’s the section.  If you want videos, they’re over here.  Breaking news is at the top.  Fake news from CNN and MSNBC is even organized into its own convenient grouping for all the gluttons for punishment who access Whatfinger.  A real time-saver.
  • The third reason is curation.  Again, Drudge is almost purely a collection of links described with the story’s headline.  Whatfinger not only gives you the headline, on its breaking news and many other current stories, its editors also provide a brief description of the story’s content, including its hilarious “Barf Alert” warning on stories that are particularly idiotic and/or slanted.  Again, this saves time, and time is extremely valuable when you’re trying to put out a relevant 800-word piece by 7:00 each weekday morning, a little later on weekends.
  • Keeping up with this incredibly rapid pace of change requires identifying and using the best tools.  I use several, but if you’re a reader like me, there is no better, more useful tool out there right now than Whatfinger.com.  Trust me.

Just another day in Keeping Up With The News in Trump’s Rapidly Changing America.

That is all.

More Dead Americans Thanks To Idiotic Liberal Policies

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Liberals and fake journalists all breathed a sigh of relief yesterday afternoon, when they found out our latest terrorist wasn’t another guy named Mohammed from another Middle Eastern Arab nation.  They all thought it was going to be like an episode from “24” or some other show on network television, where the swarthy-looking terrorist is some guy with an odd name, but who hails from England or Romania or somewhere.  That relief lasted for about five minutes, as they slowly realized that Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipov was in fact a radicalized ISIS disciple from one of those -stan countries.  Dang it!
  • So, another radical Muslim commits an act of terror in New York City, ramming a truck rented at a Home Depot in Pasaic, New Jersey into a bunch of innocent people on a bike/pedestrian path.  He screamed “Allahu Akbar” while running around the streets waving a bb pistol and a pellet pistol, and the nitwits at CNN are still confused as to what that might mean.  No surprise there.
  • Given their tradition of blaming such incidents on inanimate objects, liberals and fake journalists all over the country are this morning preparing talking points about the need to ban Home Depots.  Some of you think I’m joking.  Others of you know it’s entirely possible, maybe likely.  Certainly, they’ll want to pass new laws that prevent Home Depots from renting trucks, because, well, trucks.
  • What they won’t want to do is say anything, not one word, about the fact that this Guy With The Very Long Name from one of those -stan countries was in our country under something called the “Diversity Immigrant Program”, a program that is designed to “increase the number of immigrants from countries with low rates of U.S. immigration.”  It will come as a surprise to no one at all – not even liberals, who are always surprised about pretty much every negative impact to our society that their actions inevitably cause – that Mr. Very Long Name was issued that “Diversity Visa” in 2010, by the Barack Obama Administration.
  • Good lord.  This is the most diverse country on the face of the earth.  Do we really need a quota system in our immigration program at this point, a quota system that willy-nilly issues visas simply based on country of origin, with no thought at all on whether or not letting this person in is any kind of real benefit to our society?
  • But this is how liberals think:  “Awwww, poor Guy With The Very Long Name That I Can’t Pronounce is from one of those -stan countries – I don’t really even know which one – so we have to let him in!  It’s racist or something if we don’t, and we have, um, like, compassion or something!”  Really, that is the extent of their thought process in such matters.
  • So Mr. Very Long Name is in our country because liberals are idiots, and eight innocent actual American citizens are dead.  The liberal response to that inconvenient fact is to add a touchy-feely hashtag to their social media posts and temporarily adopt a touchy-feely avatar to their Facebook and Twitter accounts.  By engaging in that tribal behavior, they mindlessly virtue signal their solidarity with the victims, with not a single thought at all given to the fact that those victims are victims directly as a result of tribal, virtue-signaling, liberal thought and policies.
  • So today’s liberal/fake news media joint talking points will be all about banning trucks, banning Home Depot truck rentals, banning Home Depot entirely, banning bb-guns and pellet-guns and passing new laws that force every American who is not a radicalized Muslim terrorist to use whatever pronouns the Muslim terrorists prefer on any given day or face jail time for our insensitivity because it’s the insensitivity of all you old white men that’s the REAL PROBLEM HERE, DAMMIT!  (Hang on while I catch my breath.)
  • But those talking points won’t say one word about the liberal tribal behavior, their pathological need for virtue signaling, and idiotic liberal policies that result, policies which were the direct cause of the death of 8 innocent Americans on the streets of New York City.  Because that would be taking responsibility for their own idiotic actions, which is something liberals are fundamentally, constitutionally, unalterably incapable of doing.  Ever.  Because they’re sensitive and compassionate or something, and you aren’t.

Just another day in dead Americans caused by liberal policies America.

That is all.

The NFL, Hollywood and DC Swamp are Dying. Tired of Winning Yet?

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • The big news out of the dying NFL this weekend is not that the Dallas Cowboys beat the hated Washington Redskins in the first of their two annual rivalry games.  Nor is it that the New England Patriots survived a tough challenge from the recovering San Dieg…er, Los Angeles Chargers.  No, the big news is that the Houston Texans, after having avoided significant controversy during this controversy-filled season, finally joined the rest of the league in staging a silly kneel-in during the national anthem prior to their game with the Seattle Seahawks, a game the Texans naturally went on to lose.
  • It seems the Texans’ snowflake players got all verklempt when they found out that, during an owners’ meeting to address the league’s ongoing anthem protest issues, Texans’ owner Bob McNair told his colleagues that “we can’t have the inmates running the prison.”  Ooops.  Given that the NFL each off-season has a player arrest record that would fill the pages of the average Dan Brown novel, that phrase hits a little too close to home, since so many players figure a prison term might well eventually become a part of their future. And hey, who needs to be reminded of that, right?
  • So the Texans players took their knee, went out and played no defense at all, and lost the game.  And they’re cool with that, because, like, they made a point or something.  Thus, the NFL’s population of potential fans and TV viewers took another significant hit, with the league still failing to do anything effective to resolve its problem.
  • The big news out of dying Hollywood this weekend was…well, several things.  The biggest news, which hit just last night, is that the whole Harvey Weinstein sexual harassment mess might finally be starting to shift over to the Hollywood culture’s massive problem with pedophilia, which has been an open secret since the Great Depression era.  Actor Anthony Rapp publicly accused Academy Award winner Kevin Spacey of sexually assaulting him in 1986, when he was just 14 years old.
  • The incident allegedly took place while both actors were appearing in a Broadway show in New York City, meaning that Mr. Rapp is not subject to California’s libel laws, which are set up to protect Hollywood’s bad actors.  Those libel laws have prevented other child actors who were sexually abused by adult child molesters, like Corey Feldman, from giving names to their stories of having been molested.  Whether Mr. Rapp’s specific naming of Mr. Spacey will spark a flood of similar allegations from the many others who have been abused over the years by film industry adults – similar to the flood we’ve seen related to Weinstein since the NYTimes published its expose’ about his serial woman abuse – remains to be seen.  We can always hope.
  • In other Hollywood-is-dying news, the latest production from George Clooney and Matt Damon, a stinker of a film called “Suburbicon”, opened to abysmal box office, grossing just a little over $3 million for the entire weekend.  Meanwhile, the latest film produced by the Weinstein Company, an indie film called “Amityville, The Awakening”, brought in…wait for it…$742 in limited release at 10 theaters across the country.  That number is not a typo.
  • Finally, the big news out of the dying DC Swamp was of course that Special Counsel Robert Mueller apparently had someone on his staff commit a felony by leaking to CNN the fact that the grand jury convened by Mueller in Washington, DC issued its first indictment on Friday, with the arrest expected to take place today.  This criminal leak of grand jury proceedings was obviously made so that CNN and other Democrat-supporting fake news outlets could spend the entire weekend focusing on this bit of news instead of the mushrooming scandals over Uranium One bribery/money laundering that took place during the Obama years and the Clinton/DNC funding of the fake Trump Dossier.  Because, of course, Robert Mueller is a DC Swamp creature and this is how the Swamp operates.
  • In other DC Swamp news, swamp creatures Sen. Bob Corker and terminally annoying Ohio Gov. John “my Dad was a postman” Kasich both let it be known that they’re so darn mad at mean ol’ Donald Trump that they might just decide to run against him for the GOP nomination in 2020.  Yeah, because picking fights with the President has worked out so well for both men thus far.  Somehow, I don’t think Mr. Trump was quaking in his loafers at either announcement.

Just another day in dying NFL, Hollywood and DC Swamp America. Thank you, Donald Trump.

That is all.

When Fake Russia Collusion Collides With Real Russia Collusion

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • I hate to say I told you so, but… – I warned you on Monday that the leak from Robert Mueller’s staff that the Special Counsel’s office was “investigating” The Podesta Group Democrat lobbying firm was just a tactic to lend the investigation a pretense of impartiality, and likely meant that indictments would be coming down soon from the grand juries Mueller has had convened since summer.  Well, sure enough, as the week wound down Friday evening, Mueller’s staff leaked to CNN the information that one of its grand juries had in fact issued its first charges in this sham investigation of the Democrat/fake news media promoted Russia collusion fantasy.
  • According to the leaker, the plan is to place anyone charged under arrest “as soon as Monday.”  So, basically, Mueller’s pretense at impartiality will last a week, give the fake journalists who infest the national fake news media a fake talking point with which to give Mueller cover for these indictments, and we will never hear another peep about any investigation into The Podesta Group by the Special Counsel’s office again.
  • Speaking of Russia collusion – real Russia collusion, not the fantasy Mueller has been chasing – we also found out late on Friday (it always seems to be late on Friday, doesn’t it?) that the “unidentified Republican” who was an initial funder for the activities of the Fusion GPS firm, creator of the fake Trump Dossier, was none other than major Marco Rubio supporter and owner of the Washington Free Beacon, billionaire Paul Singer.  The Free Beacon took full credit (or blame), claiming that its funding of the Fusion GPS firm was pure opposition research that looked into several of Rubio’s GOP primary opponents, and that the funding ended before the DNC and Hillary Clinton employed Fusion to collude with the Russian government in creating the fake Trump Dossier.
  • No one associated with the Free Beacon bothered to explain why in the hell a supposed “newspaper” was involved in funding opposition research on behalf of a GOP presidential candidate, and Marco Rubio, in an interview in CNN, did not address whether or not his campaign properly disclosed the Free Beacon’s expenditures on his behalf in its campaign filings with the Federal Elections Commissions.  So many questions, and not a real journalist around to ask any of them.
  • It sure seems to me that everyone involved here – Singer, his minions at the Free Beacon, and Rubio will have much to answer to in the coming days, if an actual journalist with actual curiosity can be found to ask the real, relevant questions here.  I wonder what Sharyl Atkisson has on her plate right now.
  • At any rate, while Mueller continues to do the Deep State’s bidding in chasing the fake Trump/Russia fantasy, the real Democrat Russia Collusion scandal continues to balloon.  Friday’s disclosure by the Free Beacon is in fact an effort by Singer to get ahead of the coming revelations in this real scandal, as a federal district judge will rule any day now on whether or not Fusion GPS must disclose its bank records, which have been subpoenaed by multiple congressional committees.  It seems very likely that that will happen, unless the judge is an Obama appointee, in which case he will simply ignore the law and rule as he pleases.  But even in that case, the decision will only be delayed a few weeks until an appeals court can overturn the ruling.
  • Once that happens, this dam is truly going to burst, as investigators will then be able to discover exactly whom Fusion paid off in order to accumulate the salacious material it included in its fake Dossier.  No telling where those tentacles will lead, but it sure will be fun to find out.
  • But that’s not all, oh no.  This coming week, the FBI has promised to finally disclose its own files related to the Trump Dossier after months of stonewalling congressional investigators.  Assuming the FBI makes a full disclosure – which is never a safe assumption with this still-corrupt organization – we will find out whether that agency, under former Director James Comey, actually helped to pay for the Dossier itself, as has long been rumored.  And if the FBI attempts to withhold documents, that will become a scandal in and of itself.
  • The Democrats and their fake news media agents are going to be working over time to concoct new distractions for all the real scandals that are about to be coming at them.  It’s going to be a joy to watch.

Just another day in Russia-obsessed America.

That is all.

The Great Unwinding Of The Russia Collusion Fantasy Has Begun

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Well, now we know, without any lingering doubts at all, why the Democrat Party and their facilitators in the national news media responded so viciously and, frankly, insanely to last November’s election results.  I mean, we basically knew that The Most Corrupt Woman in America was engaging in all sorts of shady stuff during the campaign – that’s just her nature.  She’s utterly corrupt, pathologically dishonest, and felt completely entitled to become the 45th president of the United States after being jilted at the altar by Democrat voters in 2008.  She totally would rather lie and cheat than win an election the old-fashioned way, which totally explains why she’d spend millions of dollars having a fake dossier made up on her opponent than bend so low as to actually go to Podunksville, Wisconsin to campaign.
  • So we knew in our hearts – and I speculated last year – that she probably paid for the Trump Dossier, but we just didn’t know it for sure.  Now we do.  Question answered.
  • And we knew that there had been all sorts of lawlessness going on during the Obama Administration – the IRS scandal, the utter corruption in the Justice Department and the FBI, Hillary Clinton’s using her position at the State Department to massively enrich herself by selling influence, the sham investigation by James Comey related to the Clinton email server, the shipping of $1.6 billion in U.S. and foreign currency to the terrorist supporting regime in Iran, all the patently unconstitutional executive orders related to immigration and Obamacare, and on and on and on.
  • We knew it was all going on, but had no law enforcement officials willing to investigate and prosecute any of it, and no honest reporting on any of it from the fake news media who all thought Obama was the second coming of John F. Kennedy, so we weren’t sure of all the details.  Now we know many of the details, with much, much more to come.
  • Speaking of more details, Obama’s Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, let another key detail slip on CNN yesterday morning as he was being fake interviewed by the hopelessly vapid fake news host Alisyn Camerota.  Mr. Clapper, in the middle of one of his confused, rambling answers, told Ms. Camerota the stunning news that the Obama Administration had opened a “counterintelligence investigation” into the Trump campaign before James Comey got ahold of the fake Trump Dossier that had been financed by the DNC and the Clinton campaign.  Ms. Camerota is so hopelessly dimwitted that she just let that amazing tidbit of information pass without asking a followup question.
  • A real, actual journalist would have heard that answer and said, “wait, what?  Did you just tell our audience that a sitting president of the United States of America was investigating the likely nominee of the opposition party before his FBI got hold of that dossier?  When was that investigation opened?  Why was it opened?  On what factual information did the FBI think it needed to investigate one of President Obama’s political opponents?”  Yeah, none of those questions were asked, and the moment was lost.  Now, Mr. Clapper will lay low for awhile and make up a better story for future interviews.
  • But this is just one more detail that we didn’t know before, a detail that helps us understand why the Democrats and their supporters in the fake news media reacted so insanely after Donald Trump won the election.  All these people knew about all the criminal behavior that Democrats had engaged in during the Obama years, and all these people assumed they were safe, because Hillary Clinton was going to win the election.
  • That’s why you saw so many ashen faces, even open weeping, among the fake news people on CNN, MSNBC and the major networks as the results started coming in from Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania on Election Night.  It’s why Hillary Clinton was incapable of coming out to speak to her loyal supporters once the results were known, and had to send her evil toady John Podesta down to shoo them away instead.
  • Moreover, it’s also exactly why you saw the Democrats and fake news media start coordinating on the whole Trump/Russia collusion fantasy play immediately after the election – it’s a classic Projection strategy.  The Clintons have always used the Projection strategy anytime they’ve been caught in any wrongdoing.
  • In such situations, the Clintons have always, without exception, resorted to muddying the waters by accusing their opposition of engaging in the very same wrongdoing in which they’ve been involved.  The fact that they’ve always been able to rely on 95% of the nation’s news media to simply parrot their talking points 24 hours a day is how they have survived for this long.
  • They all knew they were all safe as long as Hillary won, and they also knew that no one was safe now that Donald Trump had won.  For the last 11 and a half months, our entire nation has been tied up in a massive Democrat/fake media projection project, and it’s all slowly, finally unwinding.
  • Thank you, President Trump, for that.

Just another day in Russia collusion fantasy America.

That is all.

Tragedy In Las Vegas Bails Out Mayor Cruz And Her False Narrative

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

[Today’s Update is written with a very heavy heart as video of last night’s mass shooting in Las Vegas streams across my television screen.  With more than 50 people already dead at the hands of a mad man, let’s all pray for the recovery of the hundreds of wounded, dozens of whom are in critical condition at local Las Vegas hospitals.  What a tragedy.]

  • Is that a threat, or a promise? – Ohio Governor John Kasich, appearing on CNN on Sunday, told fake journalist Jake Tapper that he is considering leaving the Republican Party if it doesn’t change.  Republicans everywhere, upon hearing the terminally annoying son of a postman’s remarks, wondered how they could help speed along this process.  Democrats, meanwhile, cowered in fear at the prospect of having an aging Kasich wandering around their meetings and conventions, drinking cocktail glasses filled with sugared milk and asking them “have I ever told you my dad worked at the post office?
  • Mayor Cruz, your 15 minutes are up. – Democrats in Washington apparently got some bad polling data on the antics of the Crazy Little Marxist Mayor of San Juan late on Sunday, because the Mayor’s talking points related to the Trump Administration’s recovery and support efforts, and even towards the President himself, changed on Sunday evening.  After spending 90% of the weekend complaining that the thousands of first responders sent to her Island were providing no help at all, she told MSNBC a late Sunday interview that great progress was suddenly being made.  Also, after saying all sorts of nasty things about President Trump on Friday, Saturday and most of the day Sunday, she told the same interviewer that “I wasn’t saying anything nasty about the President.”
  • Any communications professional (I am one) can easily see that Mayor Cruz is a puppet being told what to say and how to say it by someone behind the scenes.  She has clearly been coached, provided talking points, given clothes to wear, staging advice, etc.  It is obvious that, on Friday, the Democrats and their fake journalist tools at CNN and MSNBC got together and decided they could do great harm to President Trump by pretending the federal aid and recovery effort that succeeded so massively in Texas, Louisiana and Florida was somehow failing in Puerto Rico.
  • It is equally obvious that, on Sunday, somebody among this Democrat/Media fake news complex got hold of some data that this was all backfiring on them, and changed the Marxist Mayor’s talking points and demeanor.  As I wrote in yesterday’s Update, Americans are not going to respond well to a clearly craven politician lying about the efforts of thousands of first responders who are sacrificing so much to try to save lives in Puerto Rico.  It’s quite obvious that that’s exactly what happened.
  • This same outcome could have come about related to Katrina if George W. Bush understood the value of hitting back twice as hard whenever the fake news media attacked him.  But President Bush was a captive of a set of terrible media advisers and had far too much of his patrician father in him to do that.  President Trump has neither problem, obviously.
  • The tragic mass shooting in Las Vegas will now give the fake journalists at CNN and MSNBC the opportunity to pivot away from their backfiring “Puerto Rico is Trump’s Katrina” narrative, and focus on a new “let’s blame the inanimate object for the horrific actions of a mad man” narrative that they will inevitably push, while also trying to blame it all on President Trump.  So the nation will now be treated to a week of vicious panel discussions and ignorant pontificators over gun control.  Isn’t that lovely.
  • The Crazy Little Marxist Mayor has had her 15 minutes of fame, and is fortunate that the fake news media will now drop her like a hot potato.  She allowed herself to become the willing tool of very bad people who did not have her own interests in mind, and had been placed in a no-win situation as a result.  Perhaps now that her 15 minutes are over, she will actually focus on working with the federal authorities who who have been sent to her island to help, and who really do have her – and her people’s – best interests at heart.  Wouldn’t that be wonderful?

Just another day in very bad people America.

That is all.

San Juan’s Crazy Little Marxist Lady Gets Her 15 Minutes Of Fame

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • If I’m going to call Kim Jong Un the Crazy Little Fat Guy, I suppose I should start referring to San Juan, Puerto Rico Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz Soto as the Crazy Little Marxist Lady, since the nickname totally fits and I suspect we’re going be hearing lots more from this prime example of public ineptitude in the coming days and weeks.
  • After trying and utterly failing to find a public figure – any old public figure would have done – willing to lie about the incredibly well-organized and effective responses by FEMA and the rest of the Trump Administration to the epic disasters created by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, a very frustrated fake news media had spent the first five days after Hurricane Maria’s devastation of Puerto Rico similarly searching in vain, as the Island’s public officials all told a familiar tale:  Everything we ask the Administration for, we receive in spades.
  • But then folks at the national Democrat Party obviously got to the Crazy Little Marxist Lady, fed her some talking points, and suddenly on Friday the fake news media had found their poster child for their unending efforts to make this Donald Trump’s Katrina.  Despite the fact that the Island’s governor and 77 of 78 mayors continue to praise the response efforts, CNN, MSNBC and the rest of the nation’s fake news media spent the entire weekend focusing solely on Ms. Soto and her obviously irrational claims.
  • Here’s a hint to Ms. Soto:  If you’re going to hold a presser in which you claim your people are starving, and that it’s all President Trump’s fault, you probably shouldn’t do it while standing in front of literal mountains of foodstuffs and other supplies that were mostly pre-positioned on your island by President Trump’s people, but which haven’t been delivered because the trucker’s union that you fervently support decided this would be a great time to go on strike.
  • Hint #2 to the Crazy Little Marxist Lady:  If you’re going to claim your island is devastated and that nothing is working there, you might want to avoid wearing an obviously custom-made t-shirt that says “Help us, We are dying,” while conducting a nationally televised interview with Anderson Cooper.  Obviously, the “T-Shirts R Us” outlet has electric power.  Either that, or the t-shirt was brought to you by Mr. Cooper, which wouldn’t surprise me come to think of it.
  • Hint #3 to the Crazy Little Marxist Lady and the Democrat Party and the Fake News Media:  Donald Trump is not George W. Bush, and Puerto Rico is not Louisiana, circa 2005.  Katrina became Bush’s albatross because he was too dimwitted to fight back and defend himself.  He stupidly thought the truth would ultimately prevail, and the results of his government’s recovery efforts would redeem him.  He was wrong, obviously.  Donald Trump won’t make that mistake, as you have already discovered, and he has the means to go over your mendacious heads to get the truth out to the public when you refuse to do so.
  • Also, unlike Louisiana in 2005, Puerto Rico has, other than the Crazy Little Marxist Lady, competent public officials who really are trying to help their people by working with FEMA, the National Guard, and other first responders, rather than slamming them on national television.  Hell, Ms. Soto is even making New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin look less disgusting by comparison.  2017 is a different world in the realm of communications than was 2005, and the fake news media won’t be able to contain and ignore the truth here.
  • Hint #4 to the Crazy Little Marxist Lady:  If you’re going to slam the efforts of first responders, you might want to at least put up the pretense of learning what those efforts are.  We found out late Saturday that Ms. Soto has refused to attend a single one of the FEMA-led joint operations meetings, despite the fact that they are held in her own city.  The Island’s other 77 mayors and its governor have managed to attend all of them, either in person or via satellite phone, because those 77 mayors and the governor are honestly trying to help their people.
  • Hint #5 to the Crazy Little Marxist Lady:  Americans do not respond well to public officials who lie about and condemn the efforts of tens of thousands of first responders who are trying to save lives.  Ms. Soto obviously got this particular memo late Saturday night, as her talking points suddenly changed related to the first responders.
  • Finally, Hint #6 to the Crazy Little Marxist Lady:  You probably don’t realize it yet, but you are in the same position vis a vis President Trump as the Commissioner and owners of the National Football League were in with him last weekend.  That confrontation did not work out well for the NFL, which has spent this entire week scrambling to prove it really, really loves the American flag and doesn’t hate America.
  • You are about to find yourself doing an awful lot of personal damage control in the coming days and weeks. This is a bed you made for yourself.  Please enjoy sleeping in it.

Just another weekend in lying Marxists America.

That is all.
