Boom: Barr and Durham Shift to Criminal Investigation

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

And just like that, stuff got real. –  That squeaky noise you heard early Thursday evening was the sound of sphincters tightening in unison all over the DC Swamp. That was when news leaked that Attorney General William Barr has authorized U.S. Attorney John Durham to shift gears.

What has to this point been an administrative inquiry into the origins of the Obama-era efforts by the coup cabal to spy on the Trump Campaign and Transition team will now become a full criminal inquiry. As the New York Times reluctantly reported, the move gives Durham and his team of prosecutors and investigators “the power to subpoena for witness testimony and documents, to convene a grand jury and to file criminal charges.”

It’s actually even better than that, enough to make the Deep State toadies at the Times and the rest of the fake news media want to cry.  Durham can in fact convene not just one grand jury, but as many grand juries as he wants and needs to convene. Better yet, because Durham is based in Connecticut, his grand juries can be convened there, outside of the 90% Democrat snake pit of Washington, DC.

Naturally, the Times, in its role as the chief propaganda organ for the Deep State, structured its story on the talking points of the Coup Cabal’s prevailing narrative. Here are the key outtakes:

The opening of a criminal investigation is likely to raise alarms that Mr. Trump is using the Justice Department to go after his perceived enemies. Mr. Trump fired James B. Comey, the F.B.I. director under whose watch agents opened the Russia inquiry, and has long assailed other top former law enforcement and intelligence officials as partisans who sought to block his election.

Mr. Trump has made clear that he sees the typically independent Justice Department as a tool to be wielded against his political enemies. That view factors into the impeachment investigation against him, as does his long obsession with the origins of the Russia inquiry.

This is all the standard nonsense. Trump has upset the DC Swamp way of doing things by being a Republican President who actually fights back when attacked. The Times and their fellow media toadies demand that Republican presidents remain silent and just take it when the DC Swamp and its propaganda machine rises to assault them.

Of course President Trump fired the utterly corrupt James Comey when he found out that Comey had spied on him and was still attempting to entrap him. Of course President Trump has lambasted Comey, Brennan and other former “top law enforcement officials,” since he knows that they were the leaders of Spygate and the neverending coup. Sure, George W. Bush and his Poppy never pushed back when the Swamp attacked – they were part of the Swamp themselves, as was Nixon.

The final 15 or so paragraphs of the slimy Times piece is a point-by-point recital of the coup plotters’ preferred narrative, no doubt dictated personally the lead plotters themselves. If it sounds like a story that was written by the Cabal’s defense lawyers, that’s because it most likely was.

You should read it just to become familiar with what you’re going to hear from Democrat talking heads and fake hosts all over cable television in the coming weeks. They will all recite passages from these paragraphs word-for-word, like the sock puppets they really are.

You can also expect the media/Democrat effort to smear Barr, which has already been underway for months, to now shift into high gear, and expand to also include Durham. The Deep State’s Alinsky-based model always requires the character assassination of anyone who rises as a threat, so that’s a given.

Interestingly, the news about this becoming a criminal investigation came right on the heels of DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz telling congress in a letter Thursday afternoon that he is finally, at long last, entering the final phases of getting his report on FISA abuse ready for public release. Horowitz had announced the completion of his report on September 13, and apparently has waited all the time since for the internal DOJ/FBI classification review to be completed.

As reported by the Washington Examiner, “Horowitz said the process is “ongoing” and “consistent with our usual practice when an OIG report involves classified information.” The inspector general said he expects the final report to “be released publicly with few redactions” and does not “anticipate a need to prepare and issue separate classified and public versions of the report.”

Horowitz also said that the report is “lengthy” and “concerns sensitive national security and law enforcement matters,” which could mean a lot of different things. And hey, after taking all this absurd amount of time to complete, the damn thing had better be “lengthy.”

It is also interesting to note that both of these announcements come right on cue, as the Deep State’s favorite fake news organizations have been mounting a furious drive to preach the Coup Cabal’s gospel on a daily basis, as we have detailed this week at the Campaign Update. Obviously, the Brennans and Comeys and Clappers and Strzoks of the world know what’s coming and are doing their best to set their narrative in place before the actual truth starts coming out and indictments start flying.

At least, we hope indictments will ultimately start flying. The wheels of justice do turn slowly when the process is meticulously followed, but man, this has been like waiting for a family of turtles to cross I-10 in Houston during rush hour traffic.

Who knows what it will all ultimately produce, but as of this morning, there’s some reason to hope that at least some of the Coup Cabal plotters will ultimately face justice for their betrayals of this country.

That is all.

Lindsey Graham is in a Deep State Hole of his Own Making

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

The First Rule of Holes: When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging. –  South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham is neck-deep in a big ol’ Deep State hole, and he apparently doesn’t have any idea how to get out of it.

Faced with rising anger among the supporters of President Donald Trump – who won his state by 14% of the vote in 2016 – over his refusal to follow up all year on promises to issue a raft of subpoenas and hold hearings to dig at the truth behind Spygate and the neverending coup attempts targeting the President, Graham thought it would be a peachy dodge to hold a press conference today at which he introduced his meaningless resolution condemning the House impeachment circus led by San Fran Nan and Bug-Eyes Schiff:

Far from placating any Trump supporters, Graham’s meaningless stunt only made them angrier, judging from the reactions on Twitter and other social media platforms. I would copy some of the responses over here, but they’re pretty much all obscene at this point. People are really angry, for very good reason.

Graham’s stunt also had the perverse effect of enraging the left-wing social media Outrage Mob, which had been quite happy with the Senator’s talk-a-big-game-but-do-nothing-real posturing since he assumed the Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee in January. So now, literally everyone is angry at Lindsey Graham, except for the Deep State minions his studious inaction serves to protect.

You get the feeling from watching Graham’s presser today that he is just scared to death. His voice was shaky, his answers soft and uncertain, his forehead sweaty – he just looks and acts like a guy who in his heart wants to do the right thing, but just can’t, for whatever reason.

The most generous line of speculation about Graham’s refusal to act in any meaningful way is that, whether he knew it in January and February when he was making bold promises to hold an aggressive hearing schedule, he understands now that all roads related to Spygate ultimately to his personal hero, the execrable John McCain. Anyone who spends five minutes looking at the publicly-available information related to the coup cabal’s spying efforts on the Trump Campaign and Transition team, and the creation of the Steele Dossier very quickly realizes that McCain and his office were intimately involved in all of it.

Thus, if Graham were to actually follow through on his promises to conduct a thorough investigation, he would inevitably end up revealing even more information that would negatively impact McCain’s already soiled reputation. McCain is a man who Graham literally idolizes, a role model who Graham eagerly followed around and emulated for two solid decades. It’s easy to understand why he would break dozens of promises in order to protect his life’s hero.

That, as I say, is the generous speculation about Graham’s refusal to act. Other lines involve him being compromised, threatened or just plain corrupt at his core. Who knows what the truth really is? We may never find out, just as we will probably never find out what really motivated the useless Jeff Sessions.

What we do know, though, is that the stunt Graham pulled today only served to anger people of all political persuasions more than they already were. The Senator needs to quit flailing around like this, quit doing thrice-weekly appearances with Sean “Tick-Tock” Hannity, stop talking in public altogether for a few weeks for his own good. Just go back to focusing on approving the President’s judicial nominees at a record pace, and leave it at that.

Stop digging, Senator.

That is all.

Lindsey Graham and Matt Gaetz: A Stark Contrast in Style and Effectiveness

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

You can forget about the Senate doing anything effective about the sham non-impeachment process being run by Adam Schiff and San Fran Nan. –  House Republicans are on their own on this deal. Lindsey Graham gave that reality away during the first minute of his appearance on Sean “Tick-Tock” Hannity’s tediously-repetitive program on Fox News last night:

Here’s the crucial exchange:

Hannity: Adam Schiff is now a fact witness – would you be able to call him to testify before your committee?

Graham: I doubt it. The whole impeachment inquiry has been referred to the [Senate] Intelligence Committee.

Oh.

Graham goes on to talk about a “resolution” he plans to introduce on the floor of the Senate today, “objecting” to the raging abuses of process and power being employed by Pelosi and Schiff, but he knows that all it will take is an objection from a single Democrat to kill that meaningless gesture. But Graham’s entire life is built around meaningless gestures and interviews with the always-reliable Hannity these days, so that’s to be expected.

The only meaningful thing Graham said in that entire 6:47 clip is the part about everything being assigned to the Intelligence Committee. That would be the black hole of deep state toadies chaired by RINO Richard Burr in name only, and in fact run for the last 3 years by Virginia Democrat Mark Warner, who has led Burr around on a leash like John McCain used to lead Graham around. Yes, that Senate Intelligence Committee.

So, Mitch McConnell, by assigning everything to do with impeachment to the wrong committee – there can be no possible jurisdictional reason why an impeachment process focused on diplomatic dealings involving military aid to a foreign government should be assigned to the committee that has oversight over the nation’s spy community – has ensured that the Senate will do absolutely nothing to conduct any real oversight of its own until articles of impeachment have been delivered at his doorstep.

We might – and should – admire Majority Leader Yertle (thanks to Larry Schweikart for that dead-on nickname for McConnell) for his tenacity in getting President Trump’s judicial nominees confirmed, and to Graham’s credit, all of those nominations go through his Judiciary Committee. But we should never forget that McConnell is a DC Swamp critter to the core, and that his real loyalties in life are to the maintenance of his own privileges, perks and power. He’s more than happy to let Pelosi and Schiff conduct their KGB-style interrogations of witnesses in the Capitol basement with zero oversight from the Senate in the form of hearings or investigations, or indeed without even a peep of protest emerging from his reptilian lips.

So, Republicans in the House are on their own, and up until yesterday, they – and only a handful of them at that – had also limited their activities to issuing sure-to-fail resolutions on the House floor and making appearances on Fox News. But, thanks to Florida Republican Matt Gaetz, who understands that his Party has been bringing a hand grenade to a nuclear war thus far in this fight, that all changed on Wednesday, at least temporarily.

Gaetz led a group of about 35 or so GOP House members down to the Capitol basement hearing room in which Schiff and his fellow Soviet Democrats have been conducting their witness interrogations. There, the Republican protesters held a peaceful demonstration outside the room, held a press availability and generally disrupted the process, stealing a tactic the Democrats and their surrogates use 1,000 time every day all across America. Naturally, the fake news media uniformly described the demonstration as “storming” the hearing room. Because, you know, these are Republicans, and the media simply must use Nazi analogies and imagery anytime possible.

But the point here is that what Gaetz and his fellow Republicans did was effective, in stark contrast to what Graham is planning to do today with his meaningless “resolution.” They got the attention of fake news media outlets outside of Fox News, and even got coverage on the network nightly news programs, something their other antics pretty much never do.

So Gaetz and a handful of fellow GOP House members like Mark Meadows, Devin Nunez and Jim Jordan get it. They understand the real nature of the war that is going on here, and that it is a war not just on President Trump, but on every Republican and every citizen in this country. That’s good.

But here’s the thing: If the demonstration Gaetz led on Wednesday ends up being a one-time thing, then it’s just a stunt, one that will be forgotten by the end of today. To be effective and to move public opinion, these Republicans need to be back there, or doing something similar, today, and tomorrow and every day next week and the week after that and the week after that, until they force Pelosi and Schiff to open up this dark, Soviet-style process to the light of day.

Gaetz’s instincts are good, and the tactic he led yesterday was quite effective. But will he have any follow-through? Guess we’ll find out today.

Don’t hold your breath.

That is all.

Italian Prime Minister Confirms Spygate Meetings With William Barr and John Durham

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Katherine Herridge reported at mid-day on Wednesday that Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte testified under oath that he had approved meetings between Italian Intelligence agents and U.S. Attorney General William Barr and U.S. Attorney John Durham.

Here is a clip of Herridge’s report (transcript follows below):

For those of you who still like to read stuff, here is the transcript:

Host Harris Faulkner: U.S. Attorney John Durham’s investigation into the origins of the Russia probe has now expanded based on information uncovered in Rome. And we are getting new information about that visit by Attorney General William Barr. Katherine Herridge has the latest.

Katherine Herridge: Our correspondent Amy Kellogg, who is based in Italy has confirmed that in the last few the Italian prime minister has testified to parliament that he did permit the meeting with the attorney General with Italian Intelligence on the subject of the Russia investigation, and he described this move as “the correct decision, and that everything was arranged through proper diplomatic channels.”

The other piece of information we are getting from Italy is that these meetings occurred August 15 and September 27 in Rome.  And that dovetails with some new information we have had here at Fox News, which is that during one of these trips, William Barr and U.S. Attorney John Durham gathered new evidence and that it was on that basis that they expanded the investigation into the origins of the FBI’s 2016 “Russia Collusion” case.

My contacts are report that Durham is “very interested to question” the former Director of National Intelligence, that’s the nation’s top spy chief, James Clapper, as well as the former CIA Director, John Brennan, who recently dismissed the idea.

[Clip of a very nervous Brennan being interviewed on MSNBC on Oct. 3 here]

The reason this matters, Harris, is that it shows that the Durham investigation is truly global in nature, and it dovetails with our reporting that these trips to Rome have been very consequential for that investigation. This has now been confirmed by the Italian Prime Minister under oath with parliamentary testimony.

This report by Herridge, one of the few remaining real journalists still working in our otherwise fake national news media today, confirms previous rumors and reporting that Barr and Durham decided to expand their Spygate investigation based on information they’ve obtained from multiple overseas trips to Italy, Australia, London and Ukraine.

It also helps to explain why the leaders of the Coup Cabal, including Clapper and Brennan, have been nervously planting stories with eagerly-cooperating fake news outlets like the New York Times, CNN and Politico over the past several days.

The more nervous these treasonous skunks are, the better for America.

That is all.

Unpopular French Senators, and Piece of Sh*t Engages in Projection

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Delightful Peter isn’t satisfying his voters back home. – It turns out that running fake Twitter accounts and bashing the sitting President who easily won your state in 2016 is not a great strategy. A new poll of Utah voters shows the state’s creepy Twitter lurking Senator is now underwater with his constituents by a 46-51% margin. Not earth-shattering, but also not optimal, and it’s important to note that this poll was taken before Romney’s creepy nom de plume was revealed for all to be repelled by on Monday.

But Pierre Delecto, aka Creepy Uncle Mitt, did not run for that Utah senate seat in 2018 in the hopes of spending 30 years in the Senate. He ran for that senate seat in order to position himself to help remove President Donald Trump from office. He and his #NeverTrump cheering squad then hope to position the 2012 loooooooser to Barack Obama as the GOP’s replacement nominee so that he can run another loooooser campaign and hand the presidency to whatever Marxist/Alinsky radical the Democrat Party offers up.

So, negative approval polls back home? A minor irritant to a fake Frenchman with such large dreams of losing on the national stage one more time.

Noted piece of sh*t Obama toady Susan Rice engages in some podcast projection. – What is it about these Democrats and their podcasts? First, the Pantsuit Princess calls Tulsi Gabbard a Russian asset on a podcast with Democrat shill David Plouffe, causing an intra-party war to break out.

Now, the wretched Benghazi liar Susan Rice, one of the most detestable public figures in modern times, goes on a podcast with fellow Obama toady pieces of sh*t Ben Rhodes and Tommy Vietor and calls Senator Lindsey Graham “a piece of sh*t”, not once, but three times:

“He’s been a piece of shit,” she said. “He’s a piece of shit. There, I said it, he’s a piece of sh*t.”

Now, many, many people have very strong opinions about Sen. Graham, and most of them are well-founded and well-deserved. I personally detailed my own current grievances about the South Carolina Senator just yesterday, in fact.

Graham is one of the most mercurial and unprincipled members of the U.S. Senate, a guy who followed the execrable warmonger globalist John McCain around like a little doggie on a leash for 20 years, but also a guy who experiences momentary bursts of stellar behavior, as he did during the Brett Kavanaugh hearings a year ago:

But Susan Rice of all people? Whatever else one thinks about Lindsey Graham, he served his country in the U.S. Air Force JAG Corps for 7 years. Susan Rice has never had a patriotic moment in her entire life. Susan Rice has never produced anything positive for the American people. Susan Rice is the despicable hack who has such low personal standards that she was willing to go on not one, not two, not three, not four, but FIVE Sunday morning fake news shows on the Sunday after Benghazi happened and recite a completely false script at Obama’s demand.

Susan Rice is the detestable sock puppet who wrote the infamous “memo to self” on January 20, 2017, in a vain attempt to cover Obama’s crooked butt related to the efforts to spy on the Trump campaign and fix the 2016 election. Susan Rice is nothing but the very worst kind of DC Swamp errand girl, a person who has spent her entire adult life working to undermine the foundations of the American Republic.

If anyone in America can be accurately described as a pile of excrement laying out on a sidewalk for some unsuspecting passerby to step on, it is Susan Rice. She should move to San Francisco, where piles of human waste are all over the sidewalks and she would have plenty of company.

This has got to be the most unintentionally-hilarious case of projection in world history.

That is all.

Durham Will Interview Brennan – Explains This Week’s Deep State Media Push

Today’s Campaign Update, PART III
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Suddenly, it all becomes clear. – News broke on Tuesday that, consistent with earlier rumors, U.S. Attorney John Durham has formally requested an interview with Obama-era CIA Director John Brennan, and plans to also interview Obama-era Director of National Intelligence James Clapper:

This news explains why the Usual Suspects in the fake news media have been putting on a full court fake news press in their support of their Deep State heroes. As reported previously here, Saturday was the New York Times’ day to do the toadying, Sunday was NBC’s day, and Tuesday was Politico’s day in the shilling well.

Brennan himself had obviously gotten wind of Durham’s intentions early this month, as he nervously speculated on October 3 to MSCIA’s fake host Nicolle Wallace that he might well have to testify to Durham and his investigators:

Check out that body language. That is one very nervous liar right there.

Brennan has already been revealed to have lied multiple times when he testified along with Comey and Clapper before he House Intelligence Committee back in 2017, but perjury should be the least of the issues Durham will want to explore with the former chief spy.

The Saturday deep state narrative promotion piece by the NYTimes noted that, while Durham has already interviewed “dozens” of current and former Obama officials during the course of his investigation, he had yet to question the principles who we know organized and executed the effort to fix the 2016 election and then to remove a sitting President via a coup d’etat.

Today’s news proves that he’s getting around now to questioning the targets.

Cool.

That is all.

Tucker Carlson and Rand Paul Lambast Lindsey Graham – But What About Richard Burr?

Today’s Campaign Update, PART II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Why should the Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee get a pass? – No one is more frustrated with the empty promises of Lindsey Graham than I am. The Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, who must stand for re-election to his South Carolina Senate seat in 2020, has spent this entire year rushing before the nearest TV camera to make empty promise after empty promise about his plans to force people to testify before his committee.

He’s done this so many times, he has become the Senate’s version of the boy who cried wolf. It’s to the point now where it is near-impossible to take the guy seriously anymore. On his nightly Fox News program last night, Tucker Carlson aired an entire segment on the issue, which included an interview with Senator Rand Paul:

So, yes, Sen. Graham is failing in his duty as chairman. I wrote early this year that, due to his rumored lifestyle, Graham may be one of the most easily-compromised members of the Senate, and it certainly appears as if he has been compromised, and is afraid to exercise the powers of his chairmanship. This is sad and detestable, but it really should come as no surprise to anyone.

Graham richly deserves every bit of criticism he gets from Carlson, Sen. Paul and anyone else who weighs in on this subject – no argument there. His committee has jurisdiction over everything that took place within the Department of Justice and the FBI during 2016 through 2018, and it is now crystal clear Graham has no intention of making any effort whatsoever to hold anyone accountable.

His committee also has the power to subpoena each and every witness being interrogated in the basement of the Capitol Building by Adam Schiff in the fake impeachment charade, but it is obvious now that Graham, despite his threats, has no intention of doing that, either. He deserves to be primaried by a real conservative Republican next year, and to be defeated.

But there is another very powerful Chairman of a very powerful Senate committee – the Intelligence Committee – who also has jurisdiction over every action the coup cabal took during the past three years, and who also has done literally nothing to try to hold anyone accountable.

That Chairman is RINO Richard Burr of North Carolina, and he seems to just get a pass from Carlson and Paul and everyone else for his studious inaction. If anything, given what we now know today about the Comey/Brennan operation Crossfire Hurricane, which involved multiple efforts to entrap members of the Trump campaign by foreign CIA operatives on foreign soil, Burr’s committee should have and even more compelling reason to hold hearings and subpoena witnesses to try to ferret out the truth and hold officials accountable.

But…crickets. Not just from Burr and his committee, but from Tucker Carlson, Rand Paul and everyone else.

Has Sen. Burr been compromised by the deep state, too? Or does he just not give a damn? Either way, the public deserves to know what in the hell is going on here?

That is all.

CNN Dutifully Helps Pelosi and Schiff Shift the Fake Impeachment Goalposts

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Hey, remember when there were not one, but two fake whistleblowers? – I do. It was just, like, 10 days ago, right? So, what happened to them? Where did all that 24-hour a day fake news coverage of them disappear to? What happened to the promises from Bug-Eyes Schiff that the first fake whistleblower would be testifying before his fake Intelligence Committee posthaste?

Hey, I know: The narrative changed, so the goal posts had to shift with along with it. The trusty news-fakers over at CNN gave up that ghost Monday afternoon with a piece titled “Democrats see impeachment proceedings taking longer than some initially expected.”

Oh. You don’t sayyyyyy.

The “some” referred to in that fake headline would be Bug Eyes and San Fran Nan, who thought they’d be able to just ram through a quick impeachment effort on the sails of the first fake whistleblower’s fake statement. You know: The statement Schiff himself most likely helped to write.

But that was back in late September, when they were just cocky sure that no president would ever release the transcript of a phone call with another head of state because, well, golly, no previous president had ever done that before.

I used to believe that, sooner or later, these nitwits and their media toadies would figure out that President Donald Trump is not like any other president who came before him. You would think that would be manifestly obvious by now, even to these tiny-minded leftists, wouldn’t you? But no, they all obviously still think President Trump gives a damn about the “traditions” and “protocols” that have kept the DC Swamp all swampy and stuff for the last 240 years.

Anyway, the plan to ram through a quickie impeachment fell apart when the transcript clearly demonstrated that the fake whistleblower’s statement was filled with inaccuracies and outright lies. They supposedly had this second leaker all lined up and ready to go, but that hoopla all disappeared after about a 48 hour news cycle, and nobody’s even acknowledging his or her’s existence anymore.

That’s what the following sentence from the story means:

But that [ramming through something quick] has proven to be more complicated than it initially seemed, according to multiple Democratic lawmakers and sources.

Yes, things do tend to get more “complicated” when your star witness is revealed to be just another lying leaker and you and your media pals are forced to ‘disappear’ them from the narrative.

Hey, guess who those “multiple Democratic lawmakers and sources” referred to in that sentence are? If you said Bug Eyes, San Fran Nan, and a couple of their staffers, you’d be right on point. See, this CNN story is a narrative setter, or re-setter in this case. It’s a goal-post mover – the next sentence gives that away:

The reason: Each witness has so far provided more leads for investigators to chase down, including new names to potentially interview or seek documents from.

Translation: These first witnesses are not supporting our original narrative at all, so we’re going to have to find other witnesses until we find a couple who are willing to lie to support some other narrative. In other words, Adam Schiff is running the Mueller Gestapo Inquisition all over again. Which is why he must conduct his interrogations in the basement [literally the basement] of the Capitol Building and keep the testimony top secret.

You know this is true because Adam Schiff is the most notorious leaker on Capitol Hill, and if the witnesses were giving him anything to work with, their testimony would be all over CNN in about 15 minutes.

The most hilarious line in the entire CNN story is this one:

“The timeline will depend on the truth line, and that’s what we’re looking for,” Pelosi told reporters late last week.

Wait, Nan: You started this fake investigation because you knew – supposedly – that the President had bullied Ukraine President Zelensky in that phone call. You were bullhorning that “truth” two days before you claimed to have even seen the fake whistleblower’s fake statement, and three days before you saw the transcript of the call.

The “truth line” means nothing to the Democrats – that hasn’t been a concern of that Party for a century now. All that matters to the Democrats and their media toadies is the narrative, and that fell apart almost before it got started.

Let’s all remember that the day she created this idiotic fake impeachment process, San Fran Nan said she expected to be finished by the end of October. Then that timeline shifted to Thanksgiving. Now, it has shifted again to maybe – maybe – the end of the year.

The narrative and goalposts are not shifting because the Democrats are conducting a thorough search for the truth, as the CNN piece hysterically claims. They are shifting because, as is always the case, the truth does not support the narrative.

Fake news. Fake news everywhere. It’s all they got.

That is all.

Sunday was NBC’s Day to Shill for the Deep State Coup Cabal

Today’s Campaign Update, PART II
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

The fake news outlets are taking turns parroting the Coup Cabal’s talking points. – Saturday was the New York Times day, and Sunday, it was NBC’s turn at the fake news bar as the Coup Cabal continues to try to build an exculpatory narrative in advance of the release of the Horowitz report. We’ve seen this repeatedly over the past few years, as America’s fake news media continues to toady for its Democrat masters.

NBC News started its shilling right at the top, with a hilariously-slanted headline: “AG Barr expands mysterious review into origin of Russia investigation.”  Oooooohhhh, it’s all “mysterious” and stuff. The sub-head is even better: “If U.S. Attorney John Durham is conducting a criminal investigation, it’s not clear what allegations of wrongdoing are being examined.”

Oh, hey, guess who no doubt fed NBC that headline and sub-head: Could it be Obama CIA Director John Brennan? It seems likely, given this passage hidden way down in the bowels of the piece:

If Durham is conducting a criminal investigation, it’s not clear what allegations of wrongdoing are being examined. The Justice Department has not detailed any, and a spokeswoman declined to comment for this story.

“I don’t know what the legal basis for this is,” Brennan said, calling the probe “bizarre.”

So, Saturday’s theme parroted by the New York Times was that, hey, the Coup Cabal didn’t do anything wrong in the sham Clinton email “investigation,” and Sunday’s theme is “the Barr/Durham investigation is all mysterious and bizarre and stuff, or something.”

The NBC piece is an obvious, blatant effort to paint the Barr/Durham investigation to be somehow illegitimate, which explains the use of Brennan-fed code words like “bizarre,” “mysterious,” and “unusual” throughout. Of course, there is nothing mysterious or unusual about the investigation at all, and Barr spent a ton of time in May explaining in great detail why he was pursuing the investigation and what he and Durham would be looking at.

NBC even details much of that in its own piece:

Michael Horowitz, the Justice Department inspector general, has conducted an investigation into the FBI’s actions in launching the Russia probe.

But Barr has said he believes an IG inquiry is not sufficient to answer the questions he has about how the investigation began. In doing so, he made comments suggesting Durham had authority only a criminal investigation could provide.

In a May 31 interview with CBS News, Barr said Horowitz “doesn’t have the power to compel testimony, he doesn’t have the power really to investigate beyond the current cast of characters at the Department of Justice. His ability to get information from former officials or from other agencies outside the department is very limited.”

Barr also said in the interview that the purpose of the Durham review is to make sure there was not inappropriate surveillance of the Trump campaign.

“I had a lot of questions about what was going on,” he said. “Some of the facts that I’ve learned don’t hang together with the official explanations of what happened.”

Ok, so, what is “mysterious,” “bizarre,” or “unusual” about any of that? Barr is concerned about the origins of myriad FBI/CIA/DOJ-sanctioned efforts to spy on the Trump Campaign/Trump Transition/Trump Administration were improperly originated and conducted, and that no one has made any real effort to get to the bottom of why that all happened and who authorized the spying in the first place. So, he has detailed Durham to lead a probe to get to the bottom of it all.

IG Horowitz has no power to subpoena witnesses outside of the DOJ/FBI employee base, and no power to convene grand juries to seek indictments should crimes be uncovered. Durham, as a U.S. Attorney, does possess those powers.

This is not complicated, except for fake journalists who are set on pretending to be intentionally obtuse in efforts to deceive the American public. And that’s how we end up with these fake media outlets taking turns goose-stepping to marching music being played by the Coup Cabal.

Can’t wait to see what Monday’s theme becomes, and which fake news media outlet gets to parrot it for Brennan/Clapper/Comey and company. My money’s on ABC or The Washington Post.

Stay tuned.

That is all.
