Fascism: Oregon Democrat Governor Extends Lockdown to July 6

The Evening Campaign Update

When I first saw this, I thought it must be a typo. But this is no mistake or joke: While more than half the states in the U.S. have now lifted stay-at-home orders, the people of Oregon will remain imprisoned within their homes for another two solid months, thanks to their stupid decision to elect Democrat Kate Brown as their governor. Gov. Brown announced on Friday that she was extending her order through … wait for it … July 6!

Here is the text of the order:

Office of the Governor
State of Oregon

EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 20-24
EXTENDING THE COVID-19 DECLARATION OF EMERGENCY (EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 20-03) FOR AN ADDITIONAL 60 DAYS, THROUGH JULY 6, 2020
Executive Order 20-03, declaring a state of emergency due to the COVID-19 outbreak in Oregon, was issued on March 8, 2020, and declared a statewide emergency for 60 days, through May 7, 2020.
Pursuant to ORS 401.165 and ORS 401.204, I find that the novel infectious coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to threaten public health and safety, and remains a statewide emergency under ORS 401.025. Accordingly, I am extending the state of emergency for an additional 60 days, through July 6, 2020. Executive Order 20-03 shall remain in effect through July 6, 2020, unless extended or terminated earlier by the Governor.
Done at Salem, Oregon, this 1st day of May, 2020.
________________________________________________
Kate Brown
GOVERNOR
[End]

Unreal.

The state of 4 million residents ranks 40th out of the 50 states in total number of cases diagnosed with just over 2,500, and has seen a total of 104 deaths from the Wuhan Virus, with 51 of those having taken place in more than 40 nursing homes around the state. Note that the number of cases diagnosed is about the same as South Dakota has seen, but the number of deaths is 5 times South Dakota’s total.

Obviously, Oregon’s main problem is poorly-run nursing homes housing elderly patients who are particularly vulnerable to this Chinese plague. But instead of attempting to intelligently address the heart of the problem in a strategic manner that protects the constitutional rights of the citizenry, this fascist Governor chooses to imprison her entire population for another two solid months.

As I discussed in this morning’s Campaign Update, we have a distressing and growing dichotomy in our country now between Free states and Prison states, one that breaks down almost exclusively along party lines. States with conservative Republican governors are by and large the Free states, and states with leftist/fascist Democrat governors are by and large Prison states.

Fox News displayed this map of states that were reopening parts of their economies on May 1:

The states reopening are appropriately shown in red, the color typically used for states that vote Republican in presidential elections. Note that this map does not show states that never had shut-in orders like South Dakota and Arkansas in red, nor does it include South Carolina, which had already moved to reopen much of its economy weeks ago. All of those states also have Republican governors.

The inclusion of Illinois, Maine and Nevada on this map is highly misleading. While the Democrat governors in those states did allow some very limited business openings on May 1, their states remain under heavy-handed restrictions and stay-at-home orders.

The political motivations for many of these ongoing statewide lock-downs are blatantly obvious at this point. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever for Oregon’s 4 million citizens to remain under a lock-down order, with hundreds of thousands out of work and thousands of businesses lost, other than raw partisan politics.

Democrat governors all over the nation are playing at a very dangerous and despicable game right now, destroying people’s businesses and livelihoods and denying their constitutional freedoms in an attempt to try to impact the November elections. If the voters of this country reward them for this act of depravity, our nation may never recover from the blow.

That is all.

How Abusive Gubernatorial Edicts Created a True Grassroots Protest Movement

Guest Piece by Gregg Updike

Here is a little history on the success of genuine grassroots movements and citizen led protest rallies:

In 1990, New Jersey had a dictatorial governor named Jim Florio. There were two major protests held in Trenton New Jersey that summer by a true grassroots group called “Hands Across New Jersey” (HANJ). It was a protest against Florio’s 2.8 Billion tax Increase which included everything including, ironically, toilet paper (people were actually mailing used TP to his office in protest). HANJ was also protesting Florio’s “assault weapons” ban, which effectively made criminals of about 700,000 New Jerseyans overnight.

The law did not ‘grandfather’ current legal owners, and demanded the heretofore legally purchased guns were to be surrendered to the state without compensation. Since NJ required that all guns be registered, the NJ Gestapo knew who bought/possessed the guns and threats were made, but not carried out, against the 690,984 who failed to abide by the law. Many guns were temporarily “stored” in Pennsylvania. “Florio Free In ’93” was the rally cry.

HANJ was NJ’s precursor to the 2010 Taxed Enough Already Party (TEA Party) movement. It was ridiculed by the press, and ignored by the media and the politicians, but Florio overwhelmingly lost his (D) legislature a year later, and then his race in 1993 narrowly to a relative unknown. That heretofore unknown had glommed on to the HANJ movement and ran against a very popular Senator Bill Bradley in 1990. Since no state races were up in 1990, Bradley was targeted by the movement even though he was a federal senator not directly responsible for Florio’s dictatorship.

New Jersey’s Senator Bill Bradley of 1990 is Virginia’s Senator Mark Warner of 2020. Bradley’s challenger was Christine Todd-Whitman, a little known county freeholder who very nearly upset Bradley (Bradley was so shaken he chose not to run again in 1996). Bradley’s narrow two point win in 1990, and Florio’s loss of the legislature in 1991 should have been wake-up calls, but they and the people were arrogantly ignored. In 1993, Florio became a rare one-term governor. Sadly Whitman – now 73 and last I heard was a “moderate RINO” pro-choice operative working out of, ironically, Michigan – was a massive disappointment to conservatives.

The sad fact is, it is very hard for large truly grassroots rallies to occur, unlike the left’s well funded and organized (by whom?) phony rent-a-mob rallies where the professional malcontents and paid protesters (most of whom are otherwise unemployed) are able to spring up overnight and often with violence, invariably ending up trashing the place with all kinds of garbage. The real reason why there are so few conservative counter protests is because most conservatives work full time for a living, are generally not very political, and don’t have the time to engage in constant protests and rallies.

Well, not now! Thanks to the virus ‘pandemic’ and the unconstitutional edicts by dictatorial governors and mayors, we/they now have much free time to exercise our right to peaceful assembly and protest.

To some degree, we/they are lazy, and to some extent, we/they are cowed by the media and its coverage – but not any more – a sleeping giant has been awakened and the governors will find they won’t be able to shove the toothpaste back into the tube. For an example on how we were ridiculed by the media: James Carville, AKA “the Ragin’ Cajun” who served as campaign manager for both BJ Clinton and Florio, was also a TV Talking Head; he called us “Teabaggers”. If any conservative commentator on FOX ridiculed the left’s protesters like NOW, in such a derogatory way, he/she would have been Schiff-canned in a heartbeat.

The bottom line: These dictatorial governors can threaten and ignore us protestors all they want; the media can mock and downplay our rallies all it wants, but once you get ordinary working law abiding citizens aggravated enough to come together in a real genuine grassroots protest movement against a specific politician or political party, they are toast. Ask Florio, ask the thirty five or so NJ Democratic legislators (they lost half of their members in the 1991 election), ask Pelosi how she fared in 2010 after her Obamacare bill spawned the TEA Party.

So, go ahead you leftist tin-pot dictators, keep up this economic crippling of your state in your attempt to hobble the US economy and beat Trump in six months; continue to keep your subjects needlessly suffering to further you and your master’s agenda; ignore real grassroot protests, and continue to mock and ignore the soon-to-resume Trump rallies, and you will pay the price when most of your elections come up in 2021 and 2022. You may feel safe from voter retribution because most of you are not up this year, but the people attending these rallies and tens of millions of like-minded people who are not actually participating will have long memories and will remember come your November election.

Years ago, a marketing study showed that every real letter written to an editor of a newspaper, or every real complaint letter written to a corporation or politician, represents the thoughts and feelings of about 5,000 people. I have to believe the same holds true for protesters at these state rallies and at the past and future Trump rallies.

Relent now or Repent later!

The Disturbing, Growing Rift Between Free States and Prison States

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

So, I’m sitting here on a Saturday morning contemplating the fact that our country is now at a point at which it has become normal for talking heads on TV and print commentators to talk about “free states” and “prison” or “lockdown states”. I did it myself in a piece the other day without even thinking about it.

At any other time in the last 150 years, this kind of discourse would have been shocking, but today it is part of the “new normal” that aspiring despots like Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer now talk about, echoing the kind of language Barack Obama used during his term to convince people to accept his own efforts to regulate every aspect of their daily lives.

It’s easy to tell which states are “free” or becoming more free, anyway, and which states are “prisons”: The Free States have Republican governors, and the Prison states, with a few exceptions like Ohio, are run by Democrats like Whitmer. This dichotomy between the governance by the two parties in this national emergency over a virus with a mortality rate well below 1% becomes increasingly stark with every passing week.

Friday, May 1 was a great example. In Texas, GOP Governor Greg Abbott moved to reopen a vast swath of businesses (with limited capacity restraints), state parks and the beaches along the Gulf Coast. On the very same day, Democrat California Governor Gavin Newsom moved to close all state parks and beaches. As a result, free Texans flocked to local shopping malls or to reopened restaurants to enjoy their first meal out in six weeks, while thousands of imprisoned Californians staged a massive protest in the city of Huntington Beach:

Think about the brutish stupidity of that beach closing order: Given that we now know that heat and sunlight kill this virus, what better place for Southern Californians to spend time than on the damn beach? But Governor Newsom, acting on his fascist impulses, shuts the beaches down because he was personally “disturbed” by video of people enjoying a day in the sun earlier in the week.

Americans all over the country have clearly shown that they are willing to cooperate with restrictions to their freedoms that make sense in fighting the spread of this virus. But irrational nonsense like this and Gov. Whitmer’s ban on motor boats has got to stop.

If these Democrat governors do not begin to relent soon, and stop treating the rural residents of their states as if they all live in densely-populated Manhattan, the peaceful protests we have witnessed all over the country in the past few weeks will begin to turn more aggressive, possibly even violent. This is not something I’m encouraging: It’s simply an inevitable outcome of dictatorial governors insisting on continuing to deny people their constitutional rights.

Make no mistake about this: Each and every one of the lockdown orders issued by Republican and Democrat governors alike are blatant violations of individual rights. These governors – and various mayors and other local officials – can only maintain these orders so long as they are able to maintain control over their law enforcement agencies to enforce them. Already, we see this level of control beginning to crack.

We saw it in Houston last week, when associations of both Houston police officers and Harris County sheriff’s deputies made it known they would not try to enforce an abusive order made by the idiot county judge there. We saw it in Orange County, CA on Friday, where the sheriff issued a statement informing the public he would not attempt to enforce Gov. Newsom’s beach closing order.

Because, you see, law enforcement officials read the constitution, too, and they promise to uphold it when they are sworn into office. Just because some governor or mayor doesn’t give a damn about individual freedoms does not mean the local police chief or sheriff or head of the state police agency feels the same way.

We know enough about this viral plague brought to us by China and have enough effective treatment regimes in place now to move away from the “flatten the curve” stage to a “protect the vulnerable and treat the sick” stage. Hell, if these governors would just focus on dealing effectively with the nursing homes in their states, that would take care of half the problem. In Texas, the median age of those who have died from this virus is over 80. Let that sink in.

Everyone who has been paying attention and is not just a brain-dead outrage monkey on Twitter can clearly see that the time for these statewide, one-size-fits-all lockdowns has passed. The situation now calls for the aspiring South American junta leaders like Whitmer, Newsom and Ralph KKK Northam to stand down and engage in more thoughtful and intelligent governance, and to stop the systematic violation of the rights of their citizens.

It’s time for there to be no justification or need for any talking head to use the terms “Free state” and “Prison state” anymore. We’re supposed to be the United States, and dichotomies in governance like the ones we see continuing to grow over this virus cannot persist for long before they threaten to become permanent.

How China Virus is Creating Political Flips and Flops

Guest Piece from America’s History Teacher, Larry Schweikart

As the fallout from the China Virus continues to spread—though the China Virus itself is largely contained now—the political ramifications are not raining down equally on all. As of this morning, Gallup has President Trump at over 49%—his highest ever in that poll—and Scott Rasmussen’s partnership poll also has him over 49%. IDB/TIPP has Trump now tied with the demented Joe Biden for the first time, with Biden slipping several points from just a month ago.

This is more than just Biden’s “woman trouble.” It represents a growing understanding by the American people that not just anyone can do the job of president, and that Biden is mentally incapacitated. While I don’t do polls, I’m guessing that Trump already has sailed past the lowest point he will see in 2020.

And I think the Democrats know it.

This has powerful implications for the state elections though. Those governors who have not locked down their states, particularly Kristi Noem of South Dakota, are being feted. The people of South Dakota actually threw a parade in their governor’s honor! Don’t expect that to occur in other red states, where some tyrannical or duped governors remain hostage to their doctors’ flawed charts and models. In Ohio, Mike DeWine—never a strong politician—has ceded almost all authority in his state to Amy Acton, the Department of Health Director.

Arizona’s Doug Ducey, coming off a 14-point win in 2018 (against an admittedly lame opponent) similarly is a prisoner of charts and graphs. Ducey’s actions—so far more than those of DeWine—seems to be sparking protests in the traditionally independent Arizona electorate. Protests are picking up steam, and Ducey was forced to threaten fines and jail time for any business that opened early. Ducey was a rising star who expected to move on to bigger things.

Not. Any. More.

On the other hand, some stars continue to shine. Besides Noem, Georgia’s Brian Kemp has likely cemented his position with Georgia re-opening; Ron DeSantis in Florida likewise is looking wise and fearless; and of course Greg Abbott in Texas, while not opening gyms or hair salons, nevertheless is moving in the right direction and refusing to use state coercive power to make people wear masks.

The flop governors will likely create a chasm in their states between themselves and those who support reopening, including President Trump. In Arizona, Martha McSally’s fate likely will rest on whether she forcefully comes out for reopening or (again) tries to play it safe and hide. Her comments on the Chicoms’ role in this have been encouraging so far.

Meanwhile, Democrat governors like “Comfortable” Ralph Northam may well have flipped Virginia in the 2020 election. Certainly much of the perpetually-paid beltway NOVA area will not mind a paid holiday, but the rest of the state may grow restless enough to vote for Trump in the fall. Prior to the China Virus, I thought such a flip was impossible.

If the Democrat governors maintain the lockdowns long enough, and if they become painful enough, it very well may move still other states to Trump in the fall. For every flop, there might be a flip.

SHOCK: Morning Mika Just Destroyed Joe Biden’s Campaign

I’m not kidding, folks. Watch the 2-minute clip below and tell me how Biden overcomes this. [Transcript follows]:

Transcript:

Mika: Why not approve a search of her name in those [Univ. of Delaware] records?

Biden: [3 second silence] Approve a search of her name.

Mika: Yes, and anything that might be related to Tara Reade in the University of Delaware records.

Biden: [2 second silence] There IS nothing. They wouldn’t, they, they’re not there. And if they ha, if, if its th, I, I, I, o, uh, you know, I don’t understand what y-, the point you’re trying to make.

Mika: The point I’m trying to make is…

Biden: There are no personal records by definition…

Mika: …you are…the point I’m trying to make is that you are approving and actually calling for a search at the National Archives records of everything pertaining to Tara Reade. [speaking sloooowwwwly now] I’m asking why not do the same in the University of Delaware records, which have raised questions [Biden shuts his eyes tightly now] because they were supposed to be revealed to the public and then they were sealed for a longer period of time. Why not do it for both sets of records?

Biden: Because th-, the material [rapid eye-blinking now] in th-the d, University of Delaware has no personnel files and it has, but it does have a lot of confidential conversations that I had with the President about a particular issue, that I had with the heads of state of other places…that that would not be something that would be revealed while I was in public office or while I was seeking public office. It just stands to reason…the best of my knowledge, no one else has done that either. [looks like he’s begging for sympathy at this point]

Mika: [Trying make it clear once again] I’m just talking about her name, not anybody else in those records, a search for that.

Biden: [5 seconds of silence]

Mika: [Tries yet again] Nothing’s classified, not with a president or anybody else. [Very sloooowly one more time] I’m just talking about a search for Tara Reade’s name, in the University of Delaware records.

Biden: [3 more seconds of silence, and rapid eye-blinking] Look, I’m, uh, I mean, who-who-who, you know, does that search? [Goes silent again]

Mika: [clearly frustrated that her efforts to do this idiot a favor are failing] The University of Delaware, uhhhh, perhaps you set up a commission that can do it? I don’t know, whatever is the fairest way to create the most transparency.

Biden: [groans] Well, this is… look. Mika. She says she filed a report. She has her employment records still. She said she filed a report with the only…

[End]

Wow.

To be clear, I had assumed this would be your classic effort by the fake news media to perform what the political pros refer to as an “inoculation interview.” That’s the process in which a candidate facing a tough issue sits down with a carefully-chosen corrupt interviewer like Mika to do a carefully-constructed interview in which the questions were all vetted in advance. The candidate provides carefully-worded answers drafted by staffers to those pre-approved questions, and the interview ends. The rest of the corrupt news media outlets then take the position that the questions have been “asked and answered,” and refuses to address them going forward on the ground that they are now “old news.”

In watching the interview, I still believe that was the plan going in, and things appeared to be going fairly smoothly until Biden chose to dissemble in answer to this particular, very simple question. I feel sure that Morning Mika fully expected Biden to answer with, “Sure, we can do that if you want to, but I already know that there’s no personnel records there – they’re all in the National Archives.” Something like that, anyway.

But he didn’t do that, and it obviously caught Mika off-guard.

It is also quite obvious that, midway through the interview, as Biden became increasingly incoherent, Mika suddenly realize that, oops, all those people who have been saying this guy is not right in the head are – gasp! – right. You can see it in her face and in the way she spends two solid minutes attempting to baby him through what is a very softball question with an easy answer, treating him at several points in the same way one would treat a 3 year-old toddler.

Thus, what was no doubt intended to be an inoculation interview suddenly turned into a potential death knell for a presidential campaign. These two minutes of video will now be used repeatedly, over and over and over again, by the Trump campaign and supporting Super PACs to flood the airwaves with ads that will devastate Biden if he ends up being the nominee.

Somewhere, Hillary Clinton is drafting the acceptance speech she will give after the big money Democrat donors convince Biden to hang it up in a month or so, and the DNC hands her its nomination for one final swing at the presidency.

Biden won’t be the nominee. Not after this.

That is all.

Gretchen Whitmer: The National Poster Child for God-Awful Leadership

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

This woman is a national menace. – The brain-dead, malevolent bullying by Michigan Governor Eva Von Whitmer is tearing that state apart like none other in the nation.

While free states like Texas, South Carolina, Florida and Georgia are opening their economies back up, yesterday, this plastic-faced aspiring South American strong woman urged her state legislature to pass a resolution extending her irrational statewide lock-down for another 28 days. What she got instead was a massive demonstration in which thousands of freedom-loving Michiganders gridlocked traffic in downtown Lansing for hours while another group of them forced their way into the state capitol building and staged protests in the house and senate galleries.

Instead of extending Herr Whitmer’s “state of emergency” order that expired at midnight, the house of representatives approved a resolution to prevent an extension and limit the terms of any future orders issued by Whitmer to no more than 15 days. House members also approved a resolution authorizing Speaker Lee Chatfield to sue the Governor if she tried to extend the state of emergency via another executive order.

From a report by Channel 4 in Detroit:

“We believe the law is very clear on this,” Chatfield said. “That’s why every extension since 1976 has come through legislative approval, because that is what the law requires. We followed the law today. We want to partner with the governor next week. We don’t want this to have to go to court, but should she reject our vote, that’s where we’re going.”

[End]

The state senate approved the house measures later in the day, and Herr Whitmer predictably promised to veto them. She also then issued an executive extension of the state of emergency order for 28 days. This is key, since her stay-at-home order does not expire until May 15, but requires the existence of a state of emergency to remain in effect.

To be fair to the Strong Woman, Michigan has been hit fairly hard by the Wuhan Virus, recording 41,000 infections and almost 3,800 deaths. However, just as in many other states, the outbreaks have been heavily focused in big cities like Detroit and in poorly-regulated nursing homes.

But Michigan is a largely rural state, and a big frustration to many residents is that the Governor makes virtually no effort to intelligently differentiate between the densely-populated areas and areas with extremely low density. The manifest stupidity of banning things like the selling of seeds, mowing lawns and the use of motorized boats on Michigan’s lakes – but not sailboats or kayaks – has also caused outrage among the more independent-minded members of the state’s population.

Making matters even worse, Herr Whitmer has responded to every protest effort with condescension and promises of increasing crackdowns, refusing to recognize the validity and constitutional grounding for most of their arguments. She has become the literal national poster child for god-awful leadership in this crisis.

How this abusive, Soros-puppet ideologue managed to be elected Governor in a state with GOP majorities in both houses of the legislature will forever remain one of the great mysteries of our time. The bad news is that she isn’t up for re-election until 2022. The good news for Michiganders is that, while her plastic face remains pasted firmly on her noggin, her ideological mask has come completely off. She will have a hell of a time convincing Republicans who no doubt voted for her in 2018 to repeat that bit of stupidity in 2022.

Morning Joe Agrees to Serve up a Powder Puff Interview With Biden

The Evening Campaign Update

MSNBC and the Biden Campaign are coordinating approved questions and facial expressions as you read this. – News broke late Thursday that the circus clowns at MSNBC’s Morning Joe program will serve as the platform on which Creepy Uncle Quid Pro China Joe Biden will roll out his version of his ummmm…’interactions’ with Tara Reade when she was on his senate staff in 1993.

How Morning Joe got this gig over and above all the myriad CNN and MSNBC programs that were no doubt raising their hands and shouting “pick me! pick me!” at the Biden camp is anyone’s guess. Possibly it’s because Morning Joe is the lowest-rated daytime TV program on any cable news channel not named CNN. Possibly it’s because Biden has the hots for Mika or because he just loves Joe Scarborough’s pompadour hairdo and Church Lady good looks.

Whatever the reason, the presumptive Democrat nominee will be awakened and dressed by his handlers early Friday morning and shoved in front of his basement camera so that his abusive wife Jill can help guide him through the answers to the pre-approved questions that will no doubt be scrolling on a handy teleprompter. This should be god-awful TV, but it will be like watching a train wreck unfold in slow motion – you won’t be able to look away.

Can’t wait.

In other news on this rapid-fire Thursday…

– President Donald Trump told reporters at the White House today that he’d be glad to bring General Mike Flynn back into his administration. No doubt the corrupt reporters in the room all got the vapors on that one;

– The President also said he won’t need to pardon General Flynn because “he’s been exonerated.” Boom;

– Mr. Trump also said that he has seen intelligence that gives him a high degree of confidence that the coronavirus originated from the Wuhan Institute of Virology – though he would not go into detail when pressed for obvious reasons;

– The hospital ship USS Comfort sailed out of New York Harbor today. The ship had been docked at Pier 90 since March 30. The Navy says that during its time in NYC the hospital ship treated a grand total of 182 coronavirus patients, all of whom were discharged over the past week;

– Meanwhile, the hastily-constructed, 2900 bed field hospital in NYC’s Javits Center is in the process of being decommissioned and shut down after having been used to treat a grand total of 1094 patients;

– and finally, we had this from Catherine Herridge:

Only in an America saddled with an utterly corrupt Department of Justice and FBI could this Strzok guy still be walking around a free man. This must change, and soon.

What Biden’s Deafening Silence About Tara Reade Really Means

The Mid-Day Campaign Update

How completely dishonest is Nancy Pelosi? – Today, she said she was “satisfied” with the way Joe Biden has responded to the Tara Reade sexual assault allegations against him.

To be clear, Joe Biden has yet to say a single word about the Tara Reade sexual assault allegations against him.

Your demented, despicable, disgusting, disgraceful, depraved Democrat Party in action.

Oh, but it gets better. Thursday morning, #FireChrisHayes spent hours trending on Twitter. Shockingly, it wasn’t trending due to outraged Trump fans going after the corrupt MSNBC host. No, no, no.

It was trending because Hayes missed the Media Matters/DNC talking points memo that has told every corrupt media outlet for 42 days now to completely ignore the Tara Reade story. That’s not just advice or a suggestion, mind you: That item on the official talking points memo literally says “Thou Shalt NOT Mention the Tara Reade Story” verbatim. It’s like a commandment for atheist Democrats or something.

Anyway, Hayes obviously missed the memo, and this clip was the result:

Thus was MSNBC’s wall of silence on the Tara Reade story broken. Loyal MSNBC viewers who have spent the last 3 years lapping up Rachel Maddow’s various Russia Collusion conspiracy theories immediately flew into a veritable Twitter frenzy, making Mr. Hayes persona non grata in their book unless and until he either takes it all back or invents a Russia Collusion conspiracy theory of his own. Given that he has already done that on numerous occasions, it is certainly not beyond the realm of possibility.

This media-constructed vow of omerta on this accusation would be hilarious if it weren’t such a serious matter to Ms. Reade. Her story is extremely credible in the context of the very criteria set up by the whole #MeToo movement: She has never varied from the details, she filed a formal complaint at the time it took place, and numerous friends and family members have come forward to confirm that she told them about the incident over the years.

By contrast, the allegations made by Christine Blasey Ford against Justice Kavanaugh had none of these supporting elements. NOT ONE. Yet, every corrupt media outlet in America gave them non-stop coverage not for hours or days, but for WEEKS.

Now, put yourself in Creepy Joe Biden’s shoes for a moment. If you were innocent of what Ms. Reade alleges, wouldn’t you have immediately jumped in front of the nearest TV camera to deny it in the most vigorous terms, filled with moral outrage? Would you have even considered sitting silent on the matter and refusing to do any interviews unless the interviewer promised not to raise the question for 42 long days while the accusation continued to sit out there unaddressed?

Because that’s what Biden has done. Not for a day, or for a week, but for 42 DAYS since Reade first raised the accusation. For those keeping count at home 42 days is the same as 6 weeks. A full month and a half since this awful man was accused of one the most awful things any man can be accused of, and he just sits there silent on the matter.

There are two very believable possible reasons for this silence. Either Biden’s silence is the silence of a guilty man, or it is the silence of an elderly, clearly impaired and rapidly declining man who honestly has no memory of who Tara Reade is or what she is talking about.

I’d put my money on the latter. Biden honestly cannot say that he did or did not do what Ms. Reade alleges he did for the simple fact that he has no memory of it either way. Hell, it became clearly obvious on the campaign trail that he barely remembers what he did this morning, and often doesn’t even know what state he happens to be in at any given time. Expecting him to confirm or deny something that took place 27 years ago is just asking too much.

Nevertheless, this is the guy your Democrat friends want you to believe is the best pick to be your next President. Given that, maybe you should be more careful in choosing your friends.

That is all.

New Revelations in the Mike Flynn Case Prove it’s Time to Stop the Madness

Today’s Campaign Update (Because the Campaign Never Ends)

Maria Bartiromo has good sources. – This sets her apart from Sean Hannity, Greg Jarrett and Sara Carter, the Tick-Tock brigade who have spent the last two years promising Hannity’s listeners and viewers that indictments of the bad actors in the coup cabal were always just around the corner.

Bartiromo didn’t promise that, but if you remember, she did tweet this on Sunday evening:

The case against General Flynn has not been dismissed, but so much new information has come to light since Monday that it is now blatantly obvious that he was, as his attorney Sidney Powell continues to state categorically, set up and framed by the corrupt cabal operating at the top of the DOJ and FBI in early 2017.

The latest tranche of information came yesterday in the form of previously un-released emails and hand-written notes that conclusively demonstrate that the FBI’s goal in the initial interview of Flynn was to set him up:

In a series of tweets last night, former federal prosecutor Andy McCarthy points out that, even after their clear effort to entrap Flynn at that initial Jan. 27, 2017 interview, FBI agents Peter Strzok and Joe Pientka told then-Director James Comey and Dep. Director Andrew McCabe that they did not believe Flynn had lied to them, and apparently recorded that impression in their original 302 filing on the interview (which the FBI continues to claim was somehow “lost”). Comey has in fact stated this in public testimony.

McCarthy continues:

Seems worth reminding: for all the elaborate perjury trap planning, violation of protocol, and dissembling about 302 interview report, FBI did not think Flynn lied and thus never sought to charge him while Comey & McCabe in charge.

Charges were filed only months later by Team Mueller, under circumstances where there is good reason to believe they told him if he didn’t plead guilty, his son would be charged with a felony.

Judge [Emmet Sullivan] should vacate the plea and put onus on DOJ and FBI to tell us whether they’d feel good about going forward with a public trial of this case, so everything that was done and said, and why, can be laid bare. I think hell would freeze over before that. But let’s see.

[End]

As a reminder, and as the notes released yesterday confirm, the entire entrapment effort was based on a phone call that Flynn took with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak during the Trump Transition in December, 2016. During that call, Kislyak raised the issue of outgoing President Obama’s recent imposition of new sanctions on Russia and expulsion of many of their “diplomats” (most of whom were no doubt spies) over allegations of Russian interference in the recent elections.

On the call – which was surreptitiously and probably illegally recorded by the FBI under one of its ill-gotten FISA warrants – Flynn advised Kislyak not to get into an escalating tit-for-tat with the Obama Administration. The notes released yesterday between Strzok and Pientka [Correction: The notes appear to have actually been authored by Bill Priestap, who was Strzok’s boss at the time of the entrapment effort.] reveal their plan to not play the recording of the call for Flynn, but rather to try to entrap him in a lie. This is because they knew they did not really have a case that Flynn had violated the Logan Act, and so they hoped they could build a case that he had lied to federal investigators.

As Comey and others have stated on the public record – Comey said it under oath to a congressional committee – no one at the FBI believed at the time that Flynn had in fact lied to Strzok and Pientka. Which is why Mueller and his American Gestapo thugs ended up coercing a guilty plea out of Flynn by threatening to abuse his son.

This is what was taking place under the imprimatur of the American system of “justice” in 2016 and 2017. This is the kind of clear and repugnant abuse of power that William Barr was brought in as Attorney General to identify and remove from the system. This is the kind of despicable deception of the court and abuse of the public trust that Judge Sullivan has allowed to take place in his courtroom for years now, as General Flynn has been bankrupted and forced to sell his family home.

When is enough enough? When will someone in a position of authority finally, at long last put an end to it and let this man who served his country honorably for more than 30 years get his life back?

McCarthy lays out the obvious solution: Sullivan should allow Flynn to vacate the obviously-coerced plea, which would then allow Barr to respond by withdrawing the charges.

At that point, the punishing of the real bad actors in this case should begin in earnest.

Just as I went to post this piece, President Trump issued the following tweet:

That’s certainly true, and it is fair to note that the President himself has the power to end this ongoing travesty of justice. What’s it going to take for you to act, Mr. President?

That is all.
