America’s Second Civil War is Three Years Old

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

The whole strategy revolves around wearing you down. – Americans who inhabit what the coastal elites condescendingly refer to “flyover country,” that vast center of the nation that turned into a sea of red on Election Day 2016 to elect Donald Trump to the presidency, are being forced to make a choice when it comes to their President. The relentless, neverending coup efforts being led by the Obama-loyal Deep State are designed to force you ultimately get to the point where you will throw up your hands and say ‘go ahead, get rid of Trump, just give me some peace.’

Our nation today is in a different kind of Civil War, one that began in July, 2016 when James Comey’s FBI coordinated with John Brennan’s CIA to mount a spying and entrapment effort against the Trump Campaign. It is a war of attrition, a war built on the relentless pushing of Big Lie after Big Lie after Big Lie.

It is a war being mounted by squeamish, disloyal Republicans, the entirety of the Democrat Party, vast pockets of treasonous corruption within the Justice Department, the FBI and the Intelligence Community, 95% of the nation’s news media and about the same percentage of the entertainment industry. The war is supported by most of our institutions of higher “learning” and even filters down into our public schools.

It is a war on our senses, a war on our stamina, a war on our minds and a war on our children and grandchildren. It is a war in which we now cannot watch an episode of a sitcom or a crime drama without being assaulted with anti-Trump messages that insult us and our intelligence. It is a war in which we cannot wear a red cap or put a bumper sticker on our car expressing the desire to keep our country great without fear of being assaulted on the street or in a restaurant.

It is a war in which the simple fact of being white and male, or African American and conservative makes you a potential target of publicly-condoned derision and personal peril. It is a war in which you can lose your business or job if you don’t refer to a man wearing gaudy make-up and a dress as “ma’am.” It is a war in which giant social media monopolies are allowed to discriminate against you if their 100%-leftist staff do not approve of your thoughts and words.

It is a war in which associates of President Trump have their homes broken into in the middle of the night, are perp-walked before CNN’s cameras and held in solitary confinement while awaiting trial on charges that the DOJ investigated and refused to prosecute years before. It is a war in which enemies of President Trump can have multiple criminal referrals levied against them by the Inspector General and walk away scot free to lucrative book deals and six-figure “contributor” contracts with leftist fake news cable channels.

It is a war in which elected members of congress willingly do everything they can to prevent a duly-elected President and his administration from being able to conduct the nation’s foreign policy. It is a war in which the nation was held captive for three years by a “Russia Collusion” narrative tirelessly pushed by the fake news media and investigated by multiple congressional committees and a “special counsel” who conducted himself like the head of the American Gestapo. It is a war in which the special counsel’s report fully exonerates the President of any wrongdoing, only to have the Democrats and the fake news media double down on the Big Lie and pretend that it convicted him.

It is a war in which the Intelligence Community is now coordinating with the Democrats, the media and the entertainment industry in the next Big Lie, this one having to do with a phone call between the President and his peer in Ukraine. Even though it is now transparently obvious that this is just another Big Lie, we can count on the Democrat/media complex of propaganda to double down on their latest false narrative.

We can expect them to do that because the strategy here is not to have you actually believe any of the nonsense they’re pushing. The strategy is simply to wear you down, to ultimately make you bend the knee and give up on this silly quest to keep America a great and independent nation.

When this latest coup/impeachment effort crashes and burns in spectacular fashion, we can expect the forces aligned against Trump and his supporters to simply make up another false narrative and keep the coup going.

The same thing is happening right now in Britain, where Boris Johnson, the Prime Minister elected to complete the Brexit effort the voters approved three long years ago, is under a similar relentless assault by that country’s deep state, disloyal lawmakers and fake news media. As I wrote in one of the earliest Campaign Updates way back in 2016, Brexit and Trump are essentially the same political movement, a movement that pits those who love their country and want it to remain a strong, independent nation against the forces of globalism and one-world-government.

The Brits who support Brexit have held firm through all that time and grown stronger. Trump’s base of support has also held firm and grown larger. That base has remained unshakable not because they necessarily approve of every aspect of Trump’s personal behavior, but because they understand what is at stake here, and whose side Trump is on.

Because at the end of the day in this tiresome Civil War, Trump is on the side of Americans and America. I don’t know about the rest of you, but they won’t ever wear me down.

That is all.

Brexit’s Success is as Important to Donald Trump as it is to Boris Johnson

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Pay attention to Brexit. – While our fake U.S. news media establishment has spent the week obsessing over President Donald Trump making a mark on a map with a Sharpie, some major, real events have been taking place across the Great Pond, in jolly old England.

Ok, well, things aren’t exactly jolly in London right now, as a political war between the EU-captive elites and Brexit-favoring Prime Minister Boris Johnson has broken out into full public view. As we have seen in America with the “Never Trump” fake conservative subversives joining ranks with the radical, anti-Trump left, so are we now seeing the fake Torries unmasking themselves as the deceitful, compromised hacks they truly are. More than 20 of these EU useful idiots were ejected from the British conservative party this week for their failure to support Johnson’s efforts to affect a final Brexit from the EU by October, and several others resigned voluntarily, including Johnson’s own brother.

As you watch all of this play out, complete with video clips of the comical goings-on inside Parliament, it’s important to keep in mind that Brexit is in fact the law of the land in Britain, having been decided by direct election way back in the summer of 2016, an election that wasn’t really close. Yet, the party that was provided a majority to make it all happen keeps being sabotaged by the disloyal enemies within its midst.

Sounds a lot like the Republican Party, right? Right.

In reality, the ongoing debate over Brexit is a clear reflection of America’s debate over border security. While the U.S. does not have direct national elections over policy decisions, every poll ever taken on the border issue shows a vast majority of citizens favor strong action to secure the border with Mexico. There are no exceptions to this reality. Yet, when the GOP had majorities in both houses of congress and a President in the White House, all efforts to enact policy reforms to the nation’s immigration laws were scuttled by the disloyal enemies within its midst, including then-Speaker of the House Paul Ryan.

In the U.S. immigration debate, the EU is personified by the partnership between U.S. Chamber of Commerce and its giant corporate members who want to keep the flow of cheap labor coming into our country regardless of the ultimate political consequences, and the national Democratic Party, which will be the ultimate beneficiary of those political consequences. This is all crystal clear and really not debatable.

Athwart all of that mendacity yelling “stop!” you have President Trump, the American counterpart to PM Johnson. Interestingly, President Trump may well be able to play a significant role in resolving Johnson’s current inability to move Brexit to final fruition. That potential ability all comes down – as it does with China – to trade and tariffs.

Like China, the EU nations have enjoyed the financial and economic benefits of 74 years of American stupidity in the trade arena, placing all manner of tariffs and other trade roadblocks on U.S. goods while America did little or nothing to retaliate. Several of the EU nations, most obviously Germany, who have been major trading partners with China, are already experiencing the power of U.S. retaliatory tariffs in an indirect way. German Chancellor Angela Merkel and her EU peers are no doubt already living in fear of what their lives would look like in the face of direct U.S. tariffs placed on their own countries’ products.

But here’s the thing: These disloyal British MPs who are refusing to allow Johnson to comply with the voters’ Brexit mandate are heavily tied in with and influenced by the EU, whether monetarily or otherwise. Given that, President Trump has the means to influence those MPs indirectly by – guess what? – announcing retaliatory tariffs on EU member country imports, exactly as he has done with China.

Mr. Trump might also tie those tariffs to a new, simultaneous trade deal with Great Britain – a concept he and PM Johnson have already publicly discussed – a move that could incentivize a mass relocation of manufacturing operations and jobs from continental Europe to the British Isles. Think about it.

The President fully understands, better than anyone else, that he and PM Johnson are two lonely warriors in the battle against open-borders globalism. The ultimate achievement of Brexit from the EU is a vitally important front in that battle.

Don’t be surprised at all if, at some point this month, you see the President announce a new round of tariffs not on China, but on the recalcitrant and abusive nations in the EU. Because Donald Trump always plays to win, and in this case, winning for America means Brexit, and Johnson, must win first.

That is all.

Patience is the Key to Supporting President Trump’s China Policies

Today’s Campaign Update
(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Funny how this all works. – The key for being a fan of President Donald Trump’s approach to dealing with China is simple: Stay calm and wait a few days for things to work out before judging any action he takes.

If you’re panic-prone, things looked fairly bleak last Friday. The stock market had a terrible day, with the Dow dropping 600+ points after China announced a new round of tariffs on more American goods. Seemingly making matters worse (at least if you’re panic-prone), the President responded by announcing on Twitter that he would respond to China’s latest provocation by placing new tariffs on Chinese goods and raising already-existing tariffs. Raising the stakes even higher, Mr. Trump also called out China and its President Xi Jinping, for continuing to smuggle deadly fentanyl into the United States, promising harsh consequences if things did not change.

Yikes.

If you obsess over the market futures and other market minutiae, things still looked bad when you went to bed Sunday night, with Dow futures down more than 200 points and falling. Then you got up this morning, turned on CNBC or Fox Business and, presto change-o, the Dow futures were up 170! So what happened while you were sleeping to cause such a major shift in the outlook for Monday?

Well, the first thing was the announcement by President Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of a big, shiny new trade deal between our two countries. Next you had Trump and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson discussing the progress of negotiations on a major new trade deal between those two longtime trading partners. Combine those with the new deal with South Korea, the USMCA and ongoing trade negotiations with major trading partners like Brazil and India, and the markets were reminded China is far from the only game in town where the Trump trade agenda is concerned.

What is taking place here is a global resetting of international trade, a 50-years-late ending of the post-WWII Marshall Plan, a plan in which the United States agreed to take it on the chin where international trade was concerned in order to help rebuild the economies of all the countries, like Germany and China and Japan, which had attempted to destroy the free world just a few years earlier.

The original thought process behind the Marshall Plan was that it would remain in effect for about 25 years at most. Here we are 74 years later, and we finally have a President in place who has the intestinal fortitude and negotiating skills necessary to start the Great Unwinding.

Then there’s the ongoing issue of Chinese government-sanctioned smuggling of fentanyl, the greatest deadly drug epidemic of modern times. Late yesterday evening, Mexican officials announced they had seized a Chinese shipment containing 25.75 TONS of fentanyl, a drug that can be lethal with the consumption of just a few grams. The shipment originated in Shanghai, and was headed for Culiacán, Sinaloa, headquarters for the Sinaloa Cartel, whose target market is the United States of America.

Folks, that amount of fentanyl is enough to kill every man, woman, child, dog, cat, and Baltimore rat in the United States many, many times over. That shipment is about as close to an act of outright war any country can commit against another without firing a shot or flying a jet into a skyscraper.

Funny thing: Just a couple of hours after that seizure of Chinese fentanyl was made public, the Chinese government called President Trump and then publicly announced that it was ready to re-start trade negotiations in earnest.

Wow, what a coincidence, huh?

Now, very little of this will make its way into the pages of the New York Times or the air time of CNN or MSNBC or any of the three broadcast networks, all of whom roundly ridiculed President Trump for his “rash” remarks last Friday. But here we sit, just three days later, and he has been proved 100% right and fully justified, yet again, by subsequent events.

It is amazing how consistently this phenomenon happens. Why, it’s almost as if the President of the United States knows things that our fake news media is not privy to. Go figure.

Mark Penn, who is a very smart guy in most ways, has a piece in The Hill this morning in which he correctly notes that the President should keep pushing China but then incorrectly advises him to stay off of Twitter. Penn of course wrote this in a panic over the President’s Friday tweets.  Had he waited just half a day longer, he’d have probably noticed that everything Mr. Trump tweeted on Friday had by Monday been borne out and supported by subsequent events.

So, next time you see President Trump tweet out something that seems outrageous or non-reflective of reality as you know it at that moment in time, wait a few days and see how your reality changes before you react negatively to it.

You’ll be glad you did.

That is all.
