Why U.S. Oil Producers Might Not Mess Up A Good Thing In 2018

A good friend of mine who runs the government affairs shop at a large independent producer has a favorite saying: You can always count on the oil and gas industry to mess up a good thing. The last time he said that to me was about this time a year ago, when it was apparent that, after a terrible year during which the oil price for West Texas Intermediate (WTI) had sunk as low as $26/bbl, the price would top $50 by the end of the year in the wake of the agreement between OPEC, Russia and several other non-OPEC nations to curtail exports.

We were discussing the probability that, in response to that higher commodity price, the upstream segment of the industry would respond by activating a large number of idled drilling rigs early in 2017 and drill its way right back down to a lower price. Which, of course, is exactly what happened: The industry brought more than 200 additional rigs online during January and February, and another 100 or so during the next couple of months, and the market responded by trading for WTI at $43/bbl by the end of April, even as OPEC and Russia reported high levels of compliance with their lower production quotas.

Now here we are, coming toward the end of another year, and once again we have a situation in which crude prices are ramping up to an even higher level, thanks to steadily rising demand, anticipation that OPEC and Russia will renew their export agreement through 2018, and other favorable market signals. One of those other favorable signals is the fact that the rig count in the U.S. has fallen off by about 70 rigs in the last seven weeks, as shale producers have executed on more conservative drilling budgets during the second half of the year. As a result, the rate of increase in overall domestic oil production has basically leveled off at levels the market can absorb.

So will the U.S. industry mess up a good thing again in 2018? It might surprise my good friend that this time I don’t think it will, at least not to the extent that it did over the first half of 2017. This view could change by the end of December, but right now there are several factors that indicate that, while drilling will definitely pick up again after January 1, it will be a more muted response than we saw this year.

GOP Proposes Tax Plan That U.S. Shale Will Love And Tesla Will Hate

The popular joke about Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk is that every time his company reports another quarterly operational loss, he makes another high-profile speech about creating a human colony on Mars. After last week, Musk may need to consider making a series of such speeches.

Not only did Tesla report another quarterly loss last week, it reported its biggest single-quarter loss since starting business in 2009. Its Q3 2017 loss of $619 million almost doubled its previous record quarterly loss, which came in Q2 2017. That second-quarter loss barely exceeded the company’s Q1 loss of $330 million.  2017 has not been kind to Tesla.

As if to heap insult onto injury, just a couple of days after Musk had to acknowledge his company’s worst financial quarter, the Republican-dominated House of Representatives unveiled its proposed tax overhaul for both individual and corporate taxpayers. While the GOP plan would lower the corporate tax rate on corporate profits to 20%, from its current 35%, that is hardly relevant to Tesla, which has never reported an annual profit in its history and in fact has only twice reported a quarterly profit.

Making matters even worse, not just for Tesla but for all other manufacturers of electric vehicles in the U.S., the GOP tax plan would repeal the existing $7,500 tax credit available to purchasers of these cars. This credit, along with similar credit and rebate programs available in the various states, has enabled EVs to be at least somewhat price competitive with gasoline and diesel cars. Were the credit to go away, it is very likely that sales of EVs would plummet, a reality that no amount of speeches or press releases about Mars could hope to offset.

NFL Owners: The Dumbest Collection Of 32 People In America

Today’s Campaign Update

  • Be honest, you’ve thought it for a long time:  The owners of teams in the National Football League are, as a collective group, not very bright.  The ham-handed way they and their mouthpiece, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, have handled – or actually, failed to handle – the ongoing player protests of the National Anthem and American Flag proves conclusively that their group decision-making skills rise no higher than those of that herd of cattle out on Farm Road 888.
  • It’s not that they lack intelligence as individuals – they are, as individuals, mostly highly intelligent people.  Yes, some – like the Luries, the Maras, the Irsays, the Halases and the Krafts – are legacy NFL names who inherited their respective franchises and great wealth from their parents.  But most, like Jerry Jones, Tom Benson, Robert McNair and Stan Kroenke, are very smart business people who who earned their money as entrepreneurs.  These are highly-intelligent people who are highly-motivated to maximize their profits, and have long histories of success in doing so.
  • Yet, you put these people into a group setting, and they appear to have no better decision-making skills than the average 3rd-grader.  If you want proof of that, look no further than the ongoing negotiations to extend Goodell’s current contract with the League, where he has now been Commissioner for a dozen years.
  • In those dozen years, Goodell has already managed to loot the NFL’s owners for more than $200 million in various forms of compensation, and his compensation for the current year is an unbelievable $30 million.  So, this collection of owners have already made this clown fabulously wealthy for doing a job that could be performed extremely well by any of 10,000 senior executives in this country, most any of whom would be more than happy to take it on for a fraction of what Goodell is currently knocking down.
  • But the NFL’s owners appear to have literally no interest at all in even talking about finding someone else to take the job, despite Goodell’s utter failure to deal with the anthem protests, which have cost the league about 20% of its viewing audience over the past two seasons, or the myriad other systemic issues that are slowly killing the NFL’s brand.  Nor is there any talk about making Goodell take a cut in pay for his rank incompetence, with the discussions simply centered around how long an extension to grant Goodell, and how much of a raise he gets.
  • Even Dallas Cowboys’ owner Jerry Jones, who last week threatened to sue the league  if its Compensation Committee approved the most current draft offer to Goodell, isn’t talking about any reduction in overall compensation for the Commish:  He merely wants to make the contract provisions based more on performance than is currently the case.
  • As for Goodell, he obviously completely understands the brand of ownership nitwittery he is dealing with here.  We know that because, according to ESPN, he recently submitted contract demands that would give him a huge raise – to $49.5 million per year – lifetime use of a private jet, and lifetime health insurance coverage for he and his entire family.
  • Some owners, Jones included, appear to understand the threat to the league that extending Goodell’s contract truly does represent at this point.  As one owner told ESPN, “The problem is, no one is talking about games anymore.  It’s about concussions, Jones vs. Goodell, [Ezekiel Elliott’s suspension], the anthem. No one is talking about football. It’s just killing the game.”
  • Yes, it is.  Or rather, Goodell and his inability to properly address all the various controversies swirling around the NFL, is killing the game.  Goodell is not only not a solution to these various problems, he is without doubt a major part of the league’s problem at this point.
  • And yet, this feckless owners group appears unalterably on a course to extend their problem’s contract, probably through the year 2024, and give him a huge raise for being such a problem to boot.  That is almost too stupid for words.

Just another day in dimwitted NFL owners group America.

That is all.

The Fake News Media Is Poisoning Our Society

Today’s Campaign Update

  • The fake journalists at the Washington Post took a day off from scandal-mongering and published a hilariously absurd puff piece about the poor, poor Podesta brothers, John and Tony, and their fall from grace.  The Post’s fake reporters appear to be on the verge of immolating themselves over the fact that Tony Podesta’s high-powered lobbying firm is apparently closing its doors on November 15, as its principal has become at least nominally entangled in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s “investigation”.  I’ll believe that Podesta is actually in jeopardy in any way whenever charges are actually filed, which of course has yet to happen.
  • As for John Podesta, the Post portrays him as the quiet brother, the brother who would never, never, ever do anything wrong or unethical, despite the fact that the public has been treated to hundreds of his emails that indicate otherwise.  John Podesta, of course, was campaign chairman for the pathetic Hillary Clinton fiasco, and anyone who voluntarily entangles themselves with the Clintons gets the sort of reputational stains they deserve.
  • Speaking of the Mueller investigation, which is supposedly about allegations that the Trump campaign attempted to collude with Russia during the 2016 elections, President Trump chatted with Vladimir Putin for a few minutes at the APEC meetings on Sunday, and all the fake journalists in our fake news media predictably went berserk.  The President was especially slammed for saying that he believes Putin means what he says when he denies having made any effort to influence the U.S. election.
  • Mr. Trump later clarified that statement, saying that, while he believes Mr. Putin sincerely believes what he says, that doesn’t mean that other Russian elements did not spread propaganda during our elections, something they’ve been doing for decades.  Given that no one has presented the public with a shred of evidence personally implicating Putin in any of the Russian influence allegations, that is a very reasonable position for the President to take.
  • The President also very effectively responded to the uproar with a series of tweets, where he now has 280 characters instead of just 140 to make his points:
    • “Met with President Putin of Russia who was at  meetings. Good discussions on Syria. Hope for his help to solve, along with China the dangerous North Korea crisis. Progress being made.”
    • “When will all the haters and fools out there realize that having a good relationship with Russia is a good thing, not a bad thing. There always playing politics – bad for our country. I want to solve North Korea, Syria, Ukraine, terrorism, and Russia can greatly help!”
    • “Does the Fake News Media remember when Crooked Hillary Clinton, as Secretary of State, was begging Russia to be our friend with the misspelled reset button? Obama tried also, but he had zero chemistry with Putin.”
  • No rational person would find anything unreasonable in any of that, but our fake national news media has collectively portrayed it as the brayings of a mad jackass.
  • We are in a very, very dangerous place in our country’s relationship with Russia.  We have an entire political party – the Democrats – virtually our entire news media establishment, and rancid Republican war-mongers like John McCain and Lindsey Graham, all of whom appear to have a goal of pushing the United States into a shooting war with Russia.  They have all been trying to push us down that road for several years now, and appear to be literally insane with rage that our current POTUS thinks it would be a better idea to form a constructive relationship with such a powerful adversary.
  • Given that President Trump is correct when he says that Russia’s interests are aligned with American interests when it comes to terrorism, Syria, North Korea and other matters, there is absolutely no reason why our country should be constantly assuming the hostile posture towards Russia that the Democrats/media/RINO war-mongers promote.
  • Our national news media is poisoning our society.  They are endangering our future, and the futures of our children and our grandchildren with their constant collusion with the war-mongers and other swamp creatures in our government.  We are going to soon reach a crisis point at which the threat they represent must somehow be dealt with effectively, or we will end up in a conflict that need not happen.

Just another day in poisonous fake news media America.

That is all.

Who Will Be Left Standing To Mock Donald Trump At Hollywood’s Awards Shows?

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Just when I’ve promised myself to stop writing about Hollywood depravity scandals for awhile, I get up this morning to the following tidbits of news:
    • Actress Denise Richards’ divorce papers say that one of the main reasons her marriage to Charlie Sheen ended because of his sexual obsessions with young boys;
    • Actor George Takkei, who has spent his past five years on Twitter, sanctimoniously telling everyone else how to live their lives, now stands accused by a former male model of sexual assault;
    • Jann Wenner, founder of fake news magazine Rolling Stone, is accused of offering jobs in exchange for sex.  Hey, when everything you’re doing is fake, are actual qualifications really necessary?;
    • Three women have accused “Atomic Blonde” producer David Guilloid of rape.  He apparently considered Harvey Weinstein to be his life’s role model;
    • And now, even actor Richard Dreyfuss stands accused of exposing himself and other acts of harassment by a writer who worked with him back in the 1980s.  This comes just days after Dreyfuss himself accused fellow actor Kevin Spacey of preying on his then-minor son years ago, proving yet again that what goes around comes around.

  • Holy cow, that’s just one day’s sleaze oozing out of Hollywood’s whitehead-filled pours.  Imagine what is yet to come from the blackheads.
  • Speaking of actors who sanctimoniously tell the rest of us how to live our lives, Hollywood is about to move into its five month-long season of handing out awards for all the products it created during 2017, all of which fall into the range of so-awful-they’re-unwatchable to mediocre-enough-to-waste-30-to-120-minutes-watching-them.  The official calendar for Hollywoods’ award season lists no fewer than 20 different awards ceremonies at which the depraved culture’s actors, producers, directors, writers, photographers and various other flunkies will have their chance to pontificate about how awful the rest of America is.
  • That list includes awards you’ve heard of, like the Academy Awards, the Peoples’ Choice Awards and the Golden Globes, and many that most have never heard of, like the SAG Awards, the Gotham Awards, the DGA Awards, the NYFCC Awards.  The list goes on and on.  It seems that no one in our society requires positive reinforcement from their peers like Hollywood’s pathetic collection of abusers of women and children.
  • Last year, every one of the awards shows immediately devolved into a competition between award presenters and winners to see who could say the nastiest things about President Donald Trump and those who voted for him.  Because, after all, nothing says “we’re better than you” than a bunch of sexual predators with microphones and cameras lashing out at all us hicks in flyover country.
  • But hey, after everything that has already been revealed about Hollywood’s depraved, sleazy, women-and-child abusing culture, surely that culture’s representatives who appear on stage at these awards events will get a dose of humility, give and accept their various undeserved awards with quiet dignity, and maybe a few will even offer apologies to the rest of America for the unbridled arrogance displayed by their community in the past towards the “little people” who happen to pay their bills.
  • Hah-hah-hah!  I’m cracking myself up here!  Ok, just kidding with you.  It is a very safe bet that what we will see instead is the hosts of the various programs, in their opening monologues, making passing reference to the rampant depravity revealed in all the myriad scandals, and then following up with “But Trump!”, or “But Roy Moore!”, thus freeing everyone else up to just go about their normal business of bashing people they don’t approve of.
  • This is all these people know how to do.  They can’t summon up the most modest level of dignity because most of them surrendered their personal dignity to the Harvey Weinsteins and Kevin Spaceys of the world in exchange for whatever level of fame they have managed to acquire, and those who didn’t knew about what was going on and remained quiet for fear of reprisals by the powerful.  To speak openly and honestly about Hollywood’s culture of abuse is to admit their own culpability.  Far easier to just keep lashing out at the guy with the funny hairdo, and pretend the rest of America is laughing along with all of their uneasy colleagues in the audience.

Just another day in Hollywood Depravity America.

That is all.

The Democrat/Media Narrative From Tuesday’s Elections Jumps The Gun On Reality

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • The remake of “Murder on the Orient Express” opens in theaters across America today, because somebody in Hollywood thought the American public just could not live without another tired remake of another tired concept movie.  Can another tired remake of “Death on the Nile” or “Clue” be far behind?  That is, if producers can find any actors who haven’t been taken down by harassment or pedophilia scandal to star in them.
  • Speaking of Hollywood scandals, we have a story out today that an actress named Allison Mack – who I’ve never heard of, but who acted in a TV series called “Smallville” – has spent her spare time the past few years recruiting as many as 25 women into a slave cult.  I swear I don’t make this stuff up.  Not to downplay the ogre-like behavior of Harvey Weinstein or Kevin Spacey, but dang, this little gal has really gone the extra mile into the world of depravity, hasn’t she?  I don’t even want to see how some other Hollywood figure will top this one, but can there be any doubt that someone soon will?
  • And speaking of depraved behavior, the Democrats and their agents in the fake news media have very predictably decided to try to convince the public that Tuesday’s election results somehow mean that the beleaguered, disorganized and leaderless Democrat Party is once again ascendant, and will inevitably take over both houses of congress in 2018, impeach President Donald Trump (I never get tired of typing those three words) and elect some Communist like Bernie Sanders or Fauxcahontas in 2020.  The Democrat/Fake media joint talking points are all extrapolated from the Democrats regaining the governorship in very Democrat-dominated New Jersey, holding the governorship in pretty decidedly Democrat-dominated Virginia, and voters in the very Blue state of Maine voting to expand Medicaid in that state.  Alrighty then.
  • Look, there is no denying that Tuesday was indeed a bad day for the GOP.  But let’s be honest here, the landscape of this particular election day was heavily tilted in the Democrats’ favor.  Chris Christie, the out-going Governor of New Jersey, had basically doomed the chances of any Republican holding onto that office with his piggish behavior in office over the last two years.  There was just no chance it was going to happen.
  • In Maine, the Democrats were successful in convincing voters that expanding Medicaid would be some sort of solution to the rapidly rising healthcare insurance premiums caused by the imploding Obamacare system.  Watch what happens in 2018 and 2020, after voters figure out that that was just another in a very long line of Democrat lies about their healthcare system.  Then again, probably nothing much will happen, since the vast majority of Democrat voters are little more than sheep who will just bite on whatever batch of false talking points the Democrat Party rolls out next.
  • But the big focus by the fake news media has been on Virginia, where establishment Republican Ed Gillespie lost to Democrat Ralph Northam by almost 9% of the vote, a whole 3% more than the margin the Coughing Crook ran up over Mr. Trump in 2016.   It is that 3% difference that the Democrat/Fake media axis have seized upon as clear proof that voters all over the country have turned on President Trump and that the Democrats will once again become the ruling party in Washington after the 2018 elections.
  • This “analysis”, such as it is, ignores several things:  First, Gillespie ran away from President Trump in his campaign, choosing instead to run as a sort of Jeb! Bush mushy RINO.  That obviously did not play well with the state’s Republican base, and likely dampened voter turnout for the GOP on a rainy election day that would have normally played to the Republicans’ advantage.
  • Second, Jill Vogel, the GOP candidate for Lieutenant Governor who ran her campaign based on Trump’s issues of law enforcement and secure borders, lost by exactly the 6 point margin that the President lost by a year ago.  Had Gillespie’s milquetoast campaign not turned off so many voters, she would likely have had a real shot at winning.
  • Third, the media-promoted thought that the leaderless and rudderless Democrat Party has suddenly been transformed into an electoral juggernaut that is going to just steamroll back into  power 12 months from now deserves no serious consideration.  The Democrats remain in complete disarray, their National Committee cannot raise money, and the faces of their national party remain the thoroughly toxic Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi.
  • Fourth, while the playing field of Virginia, New Jersey and Maine this past Tuesday was heavily stacked in the Democrats’ favor, that will not be the case in 2018.  Twelve months from now, the Democrats will be defending 25 of 34 Senate seats up for re-election, including 10 in states where the President won by double-digit margins in 2016, and the number of truly vulnerable GOP house seats remains at a very low level.
  • The Republicans do remain vulnerable heading into the mid-terms, however, mainly due to the complete lack of getting anything important done in the U.S. Senate.  A continued failure by the GOP majority there to act on Obamacare, tax reform and other issues important to the party’s base voters could end up creating a wave election for the Democrats next year.
  • But that is far from the fait accompli that is being currently promoted by the Democrat/Fake media propaganda axis.  A year is forever in politics and the Republicans are really good at screwing things up, but projecting last Tuesday’s results into a theme that they already have is just another false narrative from the Usual Suspects.

Just another day in Democrat/Fake media propaganda axis America.

That is all.

The Pantsuit Princess’s Presidential Pursuit Persists

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • The twits at MSNBC just cannot stand the fact that the Texas mass killer was in fact stopped from killing even more people by a good guy with a gun.  Fake journalist Chuck Todd and some fake talking head named Yamiche Alcindor intentially lied about the heroic actions of Stephen Willeford, who chased the killer barefoot and shot him twice with his own AR-15 rifle before the killer was able to flee in his car.
  • Alcindor said “The shooter was not stopped, there was not a big gun fight … and I think there needs to be a fact check on how this got stopped in the first place.”  Todd responded with “The narrative here as you saw with Mike Huckabee and the president is a little bit off the rails.”  Both statements are intentional lies, as Willeford’s actions have been confirmed by multiple law enforcement officials at this point.  But hey, this is MSNBC we’re talking about here, so lying is just what they do.
  • Speaking of shameless liars, The UK Daily Mirror reports this morning that The Most Corrupt Woman in America is in negotiations with former British spy Christopher Steele – who paid agents of the Russian government to supply phony dirt for the infamous “Trump Dossier” – to purchase a …wait for it…wait for it…SECOND FAKE TRUMP DOSSIER!  I swear I don’t make this stuff up.
  • No doubt the scorned Pantsuit Princess plans to promote the pusillanimous piece of poop as the pretense for another pursuit of the presidency in 2020.  Hey, it would be a better rationale for running than she presented to the public in 2016.
  • If you think I’m joking about the Fainting Felon making another run in 2020, well, think again.  Yesterday she took to her Twitter account to take credit for Tuesday’s Democrat election wins in Virginia, New Jersey and elsewhere.
  • “Last night was a great reminder of what’s possible when we come together and fight for what we believe in,” Clinton tweeted Wednesday. “So I wanted to take a few minutes to celebrate the extraordinary successes of a few groups I – and Onward Together – proudly fight alongside.”  Of course, it is vastly more likely Democrats were able to score these wins in what are very Blue states by denying any association with the Clinton Crime World, but that’s not the point.  The point is that the Coughing Crook remains power mad, and she will never voluntarily give up on her Quixotic quest. And that, folks, is fantastic news for Republicans everywhere.
  • Not to be outdone, good ol’ Joe Biden, who will be 77 in 2020, decided it was he, not the Mendacious Megalomaniac, who deserved full credit for all the wins, sending this note to his followers:  “Yesterday, millions of Americans around the country used their votes to demand, full-throated, a different kind of leadership.  And last night, nearly every single candidate that I endorsed at your recommendation was elected.”
  • Yes, it was all because the Democrat candidates who won had received the endorsement of a guy who has been wrong about literally everything that has happened in the world for the last 40 years.  And here they all thought it was due to their own hard work and the efforts of their actual supporters.  My goodness.
  • This outbreak of Dueling Banjos between two of the most tone-deaf politicians who have ever subjected themselves on the American public is music  to the ears of Republicans who have been concerned about the potential for the Democrats to field an actual appealing candidate for the presidency in 2020.  If the Party of the Future is just going to roll out Clinton, Biden and Bernie Sanders as its presidential field, Donald Trump can breathe a sigh of relief.

Just another day in Hillary isn’t going away quietly America.

That is all.

Donna Brazile Discovers That Life As The Fredo Corleone Of Clinton World Is Hard

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Accused Hollywood pedophile actor Kevin Spacey might have been feeling friendless in recent days, but it turns out one writer who is famous for something or other – it’s been so long since he did anything of note it’s hard to remember what – is still on board the Spacey Train.  Gay Talese, who Vanity Fair describes as a “veteran journalist and author”, told the magazine on Tuesday that “I would like to talk to Kevin Spacey.  I feel so sad, and I hate that actor that ruined this guy’s career. So, OK, it happened 10 years ago … Jesus, suck it up once in a while!”  Oh, my, so many metaphors and puns one could use here in response to that particular passage, but let’s just exercise a little discretion and move along.
  • Speaking of public figures who are probably feeling friendless these days, let’s talk about Donna Brazile, who finds herself on the outs with pretty much everyone she used to consider a friendly face after becoming the first Clinton shill to break the media-enforced code of silence about Clinton wrongdoing.  Ms. Brazile, who is now basically the Fredo Corleone of the Clinton crime world, found herself on the CBS morning program on Tuesday, being interviewed by longtime fake news host Charlie Rose, the vapid Norah O’Donnell and Gayle King, who vacations with the Obamas, for crying out loud.  The former DNC Chairman probably hoped that her status as a lifelong Democrat party hack would get her the same sort of softball treatment this trio of fake journalists invariably toss out to their other Democrat clients, especially since she came into the interview with an obvious plan to start walking back her book’s claims that the Party’s nominating process had been rigged against Bernie Sanders.
  • Boy, was she surprised.  The fake hosts called her “bitter” and “angry” – words that if uttered towards a black woman by a conservative would have had these same fake journalists leveling charges of racism – and questioned Brazile’s honesty at several points in the interview.  Not that there’s anything bad about questioning the honesty of a shameless Clinton/Obama shill – lying for those people has been Brazile’s job for the last quarter century.  but the hostile tone of the questioning had to be startling for someone who has been used to being treated with kid gloves by fake interviewers for all these years.  Like Fredo, Brazile is finding out the hard way that, once you go against the family, there is no going back.
  • Another interesting tidbit we discovered when Brazile’s book was released on Tuesday is that she dedicated the tome to, among others, murdered DNC IT staffer Seth Rich. Now, think about this for a moment. The DNC’s official line on Seth Rich is that he was just a low-level staffer who really didn’t have any important responsibilities there. The DNC has viciously attacked anyone who has questioned the DC police line that Rich’s killing was a “robbery gone bad”, even though absolutely nothing was stolen from his person.
  • The Rich killing also took place on July 16, 2016, well before Ms. Brazile was called in to take over the DNC chairmanship on a temporary basis as the DNC Convention began later that month.  Yet she dedicates her book to him?  Did she even know him?  No wonder all the Clinton shills in the fake news media have been attacking her with a vengeance since Politico published the first excerpts from her book last Friday.
  • The reality is that Ms. Brazile, with the publication of a book that reveals vast wrongdoing by the Clintons and the DNC, finds herself in essentially the same position as actor Corey Feldman, who has recently re-started his campaign to expose Hollywood’s pedophile mafia.  Both have made the decision to go after people who have done wrong, and now find themselves faced with institutional pushback from not only former colleagues in their profession, but also a powerful news media that has spent decades protecting the very people they are attempting to expose.
  • Mr. Feldman first went after these people in 2013, but then got cold feet when he probably correctly began to fear for his safety.  He has now found renewed courage from the reaction to scandal surrounding Harvey Weinstein and Spacey, and has gotten the LA police involved for the first time.  He has also raised enough money to hire some personal security, which no doubt helps.
  • Ms. Brazile is showing signs of a similar case of cold feet, as the Clinton capo regimes in politics and the fake news media form up to attack her character.  Let’s hope she doesn’t find herself the victim of a “robbery gone bad” anytime soon.  A little personal security might be in order for her as well.

Just another day in the booming private security industry America.

That is all.

What A Sad Existence It Must Be To Fake The News For CNN And The NYTimes

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Actor Keven Spacey, who has apparently had a habit of preying on young boys over the last 30-plus years, played the traditional “I’m sick” card yesterday, checking into the very same rehab facility used by Harvey Weinstein.  Weinstein managed to last a whole week before he just couldn’t take anymore curing and decided to declare himself “cured” and fly the coop.  Of course, Spacey is an actor, not a mere producer like Weinstein, so we can expect Spacey to keep up this facade of seeking help for quite a bit longer, because that’s what actors who prey on children do.
  • We can always hope. – The Hollywood Reporter runs a piece this morning by some guy named Stephen Galloway titled “Harassment, Scandal and the Media: Is a Hollywood Witch Hunt Brewing?” My reaction to that is dang, let’s hope so, since there sure do seem to be a lot of witches running around Hollywood, assaulting women and little boys.
  • The writer’s big concern is that, golly, the bad ol’ fake news media – a news media that had huddled happily in Tinseltown’s hip pocket for the last century – might not exercise proper care and will start airing accusations at all those innocent people as well as the guilty.  Obviously this guy hasn’t heard that the New York Times actually had the goods on Weinstein in 2004, and chose to sit on the story rather than upset its advertising revenue, or that Ronan Farrow was turned down with his own story on Weinstein by NBC before finding a home for it elsewhere.  Or that fake news media icon Barbara Walters viciously attacked Corey Feldman when he appeared on The View in 2013 to talk about his and the late Corey Haim’s experience with Hollywood’s pedophile mafia.
  • To this point, the fake news media has been far more interested in covering up for Hollywood’s monsters than in carelessly pointing fingers at anyone who is innocent.  And let’s be honest, the same is true of all those actors, directors and producers who have piously lined up to claim “I didn’t know” after having worked closely with Weinstein, Spacey and other monsters for the last 30 years.  They were all more than happy to hide the monsters in their midst as long as the monsters might benefit their careers in some way.
  • This….is CNN. – The fake reporters and editors and hosts at CNN are so anxious to portray President Donald Trump as an incompetent boob that they resorted on Monday to intentionally editing a video of him feeding Koi fish with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in a way to fasely portray him as breaking protocol.  The video, as edited, shows the President following the Prime Minister’s lead in spooning food from a box into the Koi pond, and then shows Mr. Trump pouring the remainder of the food from the box, as CNN’s commentators claim he just got tired of spooning the food.  The unedited video, of course, shows that the President was simply following the Prime Minister’s lead in emptying the box after a few spoonfuls had gone into the pond.
  • How sad an existence must it be to get up out of bed every morning believing that it is your job as an employee of CNN to intentionally mislead the American public?  Sad!
  • Wait, what? – Speaking of sad existences, Brett Stephens, the NYTimes’ latest fake conservative op/ed mascot, told the nitwits who host “Morning Joe” on Monday that conservatives can’t cite a “single instance” of anyone “us[ing] their guns to protect their liberties.”  This statement ironically came less than 24 hours after someone using his guns protected not only his, but a bunch of other peoples’ civil liberties by shutting down the leftist Antifa disciple who was wantonly killing people in a Baptist church in Sutherland Springs, Texas.
  • It is not surprising that Mr. Stephens is not aware of that element of the story – he does work for the NYTimes, after all – or that he is unaware of the literally thousands of instances of armed citizens protecting their homes, families and civil liberties from assault by thugs that take place each year around the country.  Nor is it surprising that no one on the Morning Joe lineup of lunatics had the presence of mind to correct him, since they’re all locked in the NYTimes fake news bubble themselves.  The only surprising thing about any of this really is that the NYTimes’ editors still feel the need to hire liberal idiots to pretend to be “conservative” writers on the fake newspaper’s op/ed pages.  Why continue a facade that no one believes?
  • Oh, wait – that literally describes the daily modus operandi of our country’s entire national news media.  Nevermind.

Just another day in shamelessly Fake News Media America.

That is all.
