“Climate Change” is Our New Wizard of Oz

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • A ship filled with Canadian “Climate Change” researchers, whose goal was to study the reasons for the largely mythical “melting” of Arctic ice (Arctic sea ice extent is virtually unchanged since 2006), was forced to abandon its mission when it was prevented from launching its expedition as it was stuck in port for two solid weeks due to…wait for it…wait for it…TOO MUCH ICE!  I swear I don’t make this stuff up.  Naturally, the “scientists” spent their two weeks stuck in port devising a rationalization to blame their problem on…wait for it…CLIMATE CHANGE!  Holy cow.
  • But hey, it’s not just the Canadians who spew this “climate change” nonsense.  The editors at the Houston Chronicle saw fit to run this steaming pile of horse manure  report alleging that every weather event that takes place now is directly attributable to the all-knowing, all-seeing, all-powerful “climate change”, which is now science’s equivalent to the Wizard of Oz.  The report even regurgitates all of Al Gore’s long-debunked propaganda that “climate change” would lead to a massive increase in the number of hurricanes, even though the U.S. hasn’t experienced the landfall of a major hurricane in over a decade, a fact the Chronicle conveniently fails to note.
  • The Epic Disaster Formerly Known as Megyn Kelly got her $1,000 hairdo handed to her on Friday by conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, the subject of her Sunday interview this week.  Knowing that Ms. Kelly and NBC would inevitably air a highly-edited hatchet job on him (because this is what the fake news media does), Mr. Jones had the foresight to secretly record his conversations with Ms. Kelly and the entirety of the interview.  He began releasing tapes of those phone calls on Friday, and they are humiliating to Ms. Kelly, showing her lying and shamelessly sucking up to Mr. Jones in order to secure the interview.  Jones promises to release the full tape of the interview over the weekend.  The Epic Disaster is completely out of her league.  Great to see the hacks at NBC wasting $20 million in such an embarrassing way.
  • Two pro-Trump protesters disrupted Friday evening’s showing of the Trump assassination-promoting rendition of Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar” in Central Park.  Hopefully, this will become an escalating daily occurrence that will force the show to be abandoned.  Of course, the problem is that pro-Trump protesters have day jobs, so it will most likely be just a one-off.
  • A U.S. war ship somehow collided with a merchant vessel in calm, open waters about 50 miles off the coast of Japan on Friday.  Seven U.S. sailors are tragically missing, and we should keep them and their families in our prayers.  My only question is, how in the world does this happen?  This is a modern warship equipped with tens of millions of dollars worth of radars, sonars and other high-tech detection hardware and software.  How in the world does such a ship end up in a collision with a merchant vessel in optimal weather and sea conditions?  Media reports naturally provide no information on the circumstances that led the incident (guess the fake reporters couldn’t find an “anonymous source” to rely on), but we can bet a full investigation will take place.
  • President Donald Trump took time out from Tweeting out insults about Rod Rosenstein and Bob Mueller to travel down to Miami on Friday.  There, he announced he was reversing most of the completely (and typically) one-sided deal that President Obama gave to the communist dictator in Cuba in 2015.  Just another example of how, while the fake news media and Democrats spend all of their time consumed with their Russia Collusion and Obstruction of Justice fantasies, Mr. Trump is systematically going about erasing every element of Obama’s admittedly meager “legacy”.  Other than the mendacious deal with Iran and the rapidly collapsing Obamacare, there really isn’t much left to kill at this point.  But shhhhhh….don’t tell the Democrats.  They’re better off pursuing fantasies, and frankly, so are we.

Just another day in fake science, bad theatre, ships-colliding, disappearing Obama legacy America.

That is all.

The Fake News Media Is To Blame

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Fake journalists all over the fake news media spent most of the day yesterday desperately trying to distract the public’s attention away from the undeniable reality that it was their own lack of any journalistic ethics whatsoever that led directly to the mass shooting of House Minority Whip Steve Scalise and four others on Wednesday.  Chuck Todd was the champion rationalizer when he proclaimed that “we’re all to blame”.  Meaning, of course, that everyone except him and his fellow fake media assassination dog-whistlers are to blame.  Well, sorry, Chuck, it’s you.  Your fellow fake journalists.  Your network and its corporate owners.  The shooter’s Facebook page and other writings make it very clear that he hung on ever lunatic conspiracy theory spun by your colleague, Rachel Maddow, every disgraceful, irresponsible claim made by your colleague, Larry O’Donnell.  It’s you, Chuck, you, your disgusting colleagues, your disgusting bosses, not some farmer out in Podunk, Nebraska, or some hairdresser in Sawdust, Texas.  You.
  • The editors at the fake newspaper of record, the New York Times, tried to do their blame-shifting for their own heinous behavior by regurgitating the long-ago debunked lie that the Gabby Giffords shooting was caused by a Sarah Palin campaign ad.  When even CNN and the Washington Post started reporting that that was an outrageous lie, and Ms. Palin let it be known she was consulting her lawyers about a potential defamation suit, since the Times’ editors most certainly knew it was an outrageous slander when they published it, the Times meekly published a quick retraction.
  • And it is that very episode, of two fake news outlets actually exercising journalistic integrity to shame another fake news outlet to correct a false story, that proves my point that the loss of all semblance of journalistic integrity and ethics is the biggest problem facing our society.  Bear with me here, because this is important.
  • The founders of this country knew that a free and functioning press was critical to the maintenance of the kind of republican democracy they were trying to establish.  They knew this because such a free press was needed to curb abuse of power in the executive, congressional and judicial branches of government.  The best way to curb such abuses of power and misbehavior in office was to empower a fourth estate, the press, that had the freedom to discover such abuses and the willingness to bring them to public attention – regardless of the political party involved – in order to shame officeholders into behaving more properly, just as the WaPo and CNN helped to shame the NYTimes.
  • Where Democrats are concerned, the press long ago by and large abandoned this responsibility, and completely threw it away in 2008 when they uniformly decided to sign onto the Obama campaign.  For eight long years, the incredible abuses of power by President Obama and his evil surrogates went unremarked by the fake news media.  That abject failure of journalistic integrity has in turn now led Democrats and their voter base to believe they can engage in pretty much any behavior or rhetoric, no matter how disgusting or encouraging of violence, because they know they have no price to pay in the media.
  • So you have spectacles like the DNC Chairman and a senator from New York running around the country gratuitously tossing out profanities because they know the will suffer no reputational cost, and because they think it will attract Millenial voters to their party.  You have Kathy Griffin posing for that disgraceful photo because she believed she could do anything, no matter how outrageous, and not suffer any consequences (she didn’t factor in the social media backlash into her thinking).  You have Maxine Waters running all over the country spewing pro-assassination rhetoric because she knows she can do that with impunity.  You have Hillary Clinton proclaiming herself proudly as a part of the “resistence”, tacitly endorsing the violent protests by Antifa, because she knows there is no price to be paid.  You have leftwing celebrities calling daily for the assassination of Mr. Trump because they know there is no price to pay for such behavior.  You have the DNC fixing the primaries for Hillary Clinton in the full light of day because they knew the media wouldn’t report on it in real time.  This list could go on and on and and on.
  • When there is no political price to be paid due to media diligence, politicians will behave badly.  Badly behaving politicians will lead to bad behavior by their voters, because they too know there is no price to be paid.  This is not complicated.
  • What you see today is Republicans all over the morning shows talking about how they plan to tone their rhetoric down in the wake of Wednesday’s events.  Hell, even Ted Nugent’s talking about toning it down.  Why?  Their behavior didn’t lead to any of this.  You don’t see a similar number of Democrats doing that.  In fact, you already saw Nancy Pelosi ratcheting the rhetoric back up yesterday.  Why?  Because Republicans and Ted Nugent know they have to do this or the fake media will attack them.  The Democrats, meanwhile, knowing there is no price to be paid for their own bad behavior, will go right back to their own bad behavior.
  • It’s the fake news media’s fault.  The journalistic profession in America is dead.  Our leaders can either come to grips with this reality and begin to find ways to hold the media accountable for its serial heinous abuses of its first amendment privileges, or we will ultimately find ourselves in a civil war.  This is not mere speculation.  This is an inevitable outcome of the path we currently find ourselves on.

Just another week of fake news media destroying America.

That is all.

Liberal/Media Assassination Advocacy Sadly Bears Fruit

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Just one day after I published a piece asking why liberals and their agents in the fake national news media were openly promoting the assassination of a sitting U.S. President, their incessant dog-whistling bore its first fruit when a lunatic disciple of Bernie Sanders opened fire with a semi-automatic rifle on a softball practice involving 15 Republican members of congress.  The shooter, whose social media rantings and associations made it clear he had been fully indoctrinated by the radical leftwing advocates employed by CNN, MSNBC, HBO and the Comedy Channel and their non-stop de-humanization of President Trump and GOP members of congress, was killed by the heroic efforts of two members of the Capitol Police.  Thankfully, at least as of this writing, no other deaths occurred, although House Majority Whip Steve Scalise remains in critical condition in a DC area hospital.  Our prayers are with this good man.
  • Make no mistake about it:  this shooting was not some random act of a random lunatic.  This attempt at mass murder – which would have been successful had those two Capitol Police officers not been there as Mr. Scalise’s security detail – was a direct result of the never-ending efforts by the Democrat Party and the fake national news media to portray Republicans – all Republicans – as inhuman monsters who want to throw granny off the cliff, take the country back to slavery and kill babies.  The killer’s social media presence makes it clear that he bought into all of that, and hung on every Rachel Maddow conspiracy theory and Bill Maher dog-whistle.
  • There are millions more just like this guy in America, left-leaning true-believers who have lost all touch with reality, and whose nascent violent impulses are urged on every day by the wild, irresponsible claims of Democrat politicians like Maxine Waters and Al Franken, and every night by the disgraceful rhetoric from jerks like Larry O’Donnell.  Over the last year, we have seen disciples like this guy acting out by beating up Trump supporters as they entered or left campaign rallies, rioting in the streets of Washington, DC during he inauguration, and donning black masks and burning up the town of Berkeley, CA.  Hell, the son of Hillary Clinton’s own vice-presidential candidate was one of them, and no Democrat could be bothered to publicly condemn his actions when he was arrested for violent assault on Trump supporters.
  • Similarly, not one Democrat has been asked by a single fake reporter in our fake news media why they steadfastly refuse to condemn such violent protest actions, or why they refuse to condemn the ongoing hate rhetoric that emanates daily from the Chairman of their own political party.  Indeed, most Democrat members of congress – not to mention Hillary Clinton – proudly pledge themselves as members of the “resistance”, for which those black-masked rioters serve as a de facto militia. If this had been some right-wing nut-job shooting at Democrats, those questions would have been asked by dozens of fake reporters of every GOP politician in sight.  But then, we can never expect Democrats to be held to any minimal standard of civil discourse by a fake news media that also lacks such standards, can we?
  • Yesterday’s shooting is a direct result of the reality that our country no longer possesses a responsible news media establishment.  Though they have always been liberally-biased, management at our national media outlets in the past policed their employees and held them to some level of responsible behavior in line with what used to be held out as “journalistic standards.”  Such standards were completely abandoned in 2008, when every media outlet other than Fox News decided to become active members of the Obama presidential campaign, and they have never been regained.
  • Last night, with Cong. Scalise struggling for his life, Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats in congress pretended to “come together” with Republicans, pledging to do better and try to find an end to all the un-civil discourse that has come to dominate the Capitol.  It was reminiscent of the moments after 9/11, when Democrats made similar pledges to “come together” with Republicans for the good of the country.  That “come together” time lasted for about two weeks before Harry Reid led the charge to begin slandering President George W. Bush again, and it all returned to business as usual after that.  Don’t kid yourselves that this “come together” moment will last more than a few days.
  • We will have another nice “come together” moment tonight, when the Democrats and Republicans play their annual softball game.  But we have to remember that the one and only driving principle of today’s Democrat Party is the acquisition and maintenance of political power.  They believe their polling data tells them that “the resistance” and demonization of Republicans – even if it means empowering nut-jobs like this shooter to try to kill Republicans – is their best way back to that.  The only reason you saw Nancy Pelosi saying nice things to Paul Ryan last night is because San Fran Nan believes it was the best political move for her to make.  No more than a week or two from today, she will have new polling data that she believes tells her to go back to business as usual and start dehumanizing all Republicans again, and she will lead the charge and her sheepish fellow Democrats will follow her right back.
  • This is who the Democrats are.  It is what they do.  And all the fake reporters in the fake news media will continue to be their de facto cheerleaders, because that is who they are, and what they do.  Don’t kid yourselves otherwise – doing so is becoming increasingly hazardous to your health.

Just another day in assassination dog-whistling America.

That is all.

Jeff Sessions Takes Corrupt, Clueless Democrats To School

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Some observations from AG Jeff Sessions’ testimony before the Senate Intelligence (pardon the oxymoron) Committee on Tuesday:
    • Sessions’ tone was perfect, his righteous indignation completely appropriate under the circumstances, his defense of his honor compelling and believable.  All in all, a great decision by him to insist on public testimony when the committee Democrats wanted to question him out of the public eye.  Given their own performances, which ranged from disingenuous (Mark Warner), to imperiously strident (Kamala Harris), to buffoonish (Ron Wyden), it’s easy to see why they wanted to do this one in private.  Too bad.
    • If California Sen. Kamala Harris is, as many claim, the Democrat Party’s “rising star”, then the Democrats have no future.  She was out of her league, and transparently dishonest.  But hey, Democrats love voting for transparently dishonest candidates, which explains why she’s a Senator now.
    • A social media scandal broke out when Sen. Harris was shut down by the Chair because her time had run out as she was repeatedly interrupting AG Sessions in order to prevent him to give a full answer to a stupid question. Fake journalists and leftist trolls tisk-tisked all over Twitter about how Republicans just love to shut down women.  Trouble with that was that it was actually ranking Democrat Mark Warner who shut Ms. Harris down, as Chairman Richard Burr had temporarily left the room.  D’oh!
    • The fake reporters at the Huffington Post actually picked up on this little nuance, and ran a story on the incident bashing not “Republicans”, but “Men” instead. Well, you know, they had to bash somebody.  It’s what they do at the HuffPo.
    • Senator from the News Media John McCain was once again utterly incoherent in his questioning, causing AG Sessions to have to ask him to repeat questions several times because they were simply not understandably put.  Maybe he should start avoiding these things, and stick with softball interviews with Chris Matthews instead.  Either that, or get some new meds.
    • Tom Cotton of Arkansas was the star of the show, humiliating the Democrats by comparing their Russia collusion fantasy to the plot of a bad spy movie.  Well, ok, the Democrats weren’t really “humiliated”, since they are so uniformly lacking in any sense of self-awareness anymore that they are long beyond any ability to feel such embarrassment.
    • In an off-hand remark, AG Sessions let it be known that his office has already begun “multiple” investigations into illegal leaking of classified information.  That information no doubt had knees shaking among myriad Obama holdovers at the FBI and various intelligence agencies, not to mention the NSC and the White House.  It also left James Comey trying to decide which third party cutout to use to leak some more self-serving stuff to the New York Times.
    • BTW, it’s a bit off-subject, but has anyone else noticed that we still have not actually seen any of Comey’s mystery “contemporaneous memos”?  Just wondering.
    • At the end of the hearing, it is very telling that the Democrats are now so utterly lacking in any support for their “collusion” or “obstruction” fantasies that all they had left to complain about after the hearing was the fact that the U.S. Attorney General would not divulge details about conversations he has had with a sitting President of the United States, a longstanding Justice Department policy that was invoked dozens of times by both Loretta Lynch and Eric Holder without a peep of protest from a single Senate Democrat.
    • The Collusion fantasy is dead – even MSNBC’s fake host Chris Matthews understands that.  The Obstruction fantasy is on life support.  Expect to see the fake news media/Democrat Party axis of nitwittery coordinating on an entirely new fantasy scandal over the next week or two.  Because it’s all they have.
  • Tired of winning yet?:  Fake news personality Megyn Kelly is bombing in her new gig over at NBC.  Her first two episodes have lost miserably against re-runs of CBS’s “60 Minutes”, with her second week’s audience falling by 36% from her first one.  And now she’s in trouble for deciding to feature an interview with conspiracy theory-promoting talk radio host Alex Jones on her third episode.  My goodness, what’s going to happen in the Fall, when “60 Minutes” starts airing new stuff?  Couldn’t happen to a nicer person.  BTW, if Megyn Kelly was a man, her snarky fake journalist colleagues would be calling her an “empty suit,”, a term they normally reserve for Scott Pelley.  But it takes too long to call her an “empty sleeveless, low-cut, short-skirted ensemble by Gucci” instead.

Just another day in collapsing media/Democrat/Megyn Kelly fantasy America.

That is all.

Why The President Should Fire Robert Mueller (And Probably Will)

Today’s Campaign Update Supplemental

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Several readers and Facebook followers have expressed concern about the rumors flying around that President Trump may be planning to fire Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who was appointed by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein ostensibly to investigate the Democrat/fake news media’s “Trump/Russia Collusion” fantasy.  Mr. Mueller has now been revealed to the public as a long-time crony of obvious Trump hater James Comey, has been revealed to have helped Comey compile the testimony he offered to congress last week, and to now be filling his staff with a raft of Clinton donors.

All who have contacted me today have expressed the concern that the President would invite a “political firestorm” and possible impeachment action in congress should he take that step.  To those concerns, I would reply:

What do you think is going on right now?

I’m not trying to be insulting here, but seriously, this President has been subjected to an endless political firestorm from the fake news media, the Democrats and their insane voter base, and from fake Republicrats like John McCain since Election Day and before.  This firestorm is never-ending, and will be a permanent fixture for the duration of Mr. Trump’s term in office.

Also, in case you didn’t notice, several congressional Democrats have already compiled and filed articles of impeachment, and you can bet the number in the Democrat ranks – along with Rinos like McCain – will only grow over time.

The fact of the matter is that this is nothing new for Republican presidents, although it has been more intense for President Trump.  This is what the Democrats and Rinos do every time any Republican is elected to the presidency.  They and their  agents in the fake national news media go about inventing an endless stream of “scandals”, the vast majority of them imaginary and the remainder vastly over-blown, and Democrats immediately go to working on finding reasons to file impeachment articles.

Donald Trump was elected to the presidency to clean up the Washington DC “swamp”, and this cycle of fake scandal mongering against any Republican president is in fact a permanent part of that swamp.  Past GOP presidents have simply played the game and suffered through a series of special counsels and special prosecutors as those people mounted near-permanent, wide-ranging investigations against their administrations.  This has proven to be a strategic error for each and every past GOP president.  It is a cycle of insanity that past Republican presidents have been too timid to try to end.

Trump is different.  Trump is not your standard issue Republican POTUS.  Trump believes in his mission, which he has made crystal clear for more than two years since the day he announced his candidacy.

This is why I believe Trump should and will fire Robert Mueller.  Mueller, knowing his own massive conflicts of interest, should have had the personal integrity to turn down this assignment when it was offered to him.  That he accepted the job in the first place is a clear signal that he is nothing more than the same sort of bottom-dwelling swamp creature that Comey is.

Comey desperately needed firing, and so does Mueller, for the good of the country.  Firing Mueller would not end the whole Russia investigative fantasy world for Democrats, because timid Republicans in congress will allow their own investigations to continue endlessly.  But firing Mueller would end the public farce that special counsel processes always become before it wastes an overwhelming amount of public money and needlessly destroys the reputations of good men and women.

Donald Trump has a long and consistent history of firing people who just need firing.  I would expect Mueller’s firing to happen before the end of June.  No use wasting time.

That is all.

Why Are Liberals Openly Advocating The Assassination Of A U.S. President?

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Why are liberals openly advocating the assassination of a U.S. President?:  New York City’s “Shakespeare In The Park” troupe had a very bad day on Monday, in the wake of the premier of its production of “Julius Caesar”, which portrays the assassination of a central figure who looks an awful lot like President Donald Trump.  The inevitable controversy over the play has now resulted in several of the troupe’s major sponsors cancelling their support, including Delta Airlines, Bank of America, and later in the day, American Express.  Naturally, Time Warner, the parent company of CNN, which has been dog-whistling in favor of assassinating the President since shortly after he announced his candidacy for the office, announced it sees no problem in continuing its own sponsorship of the troupe.  CNN’s own fake journalist, noted plagiarist Fareed Zakaria, described the production on Twitter as “brilliantly interpreted”, and a “masterpiece.”  He will no doubt get a raise.
  • This “Julius Caesar” production is just the latest in a long line of media/liberal assassination endorsements, following close on the heels of Kathy Griffin’s posing with a mock-up of the President’s severed head, the Snoop Dogg video in which he simulates shooting the President, and the multiple ‘Trump is a monster and who wouldn’t want to kill a monster’ dog-whistles issued daily by the fake journalists and pro-assassination contributors on CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS and MSNBC.
  • One would think that liberals/progressives/socialists/communists in America, most of whom pledge allegiance to the political party that was home to the last assassinated U.S. president, John F. Kennedy, might think twice before so openly advocating for the killing of another POTUS.  After all, liberals in 1963 and since love to blame that assassination on the “climate of hate” around Mr. Kennedy as a result of all the negative rhetoric pointed in his direction from conservative and business interests of the time.  Yet, these same people now go out of their way to justify the climate of hate they and their friends in the fake news media and entertainment industry have created around President Trump.  But then, that would assume that liberals/progressives/socialists/communists actually do engage in some sort of logical, rational thought process, which is of course not the case.
  • In the end, those on the political left and their media agents are creating a justification for violence against President Trump in the exact same way that radical Muslim clerics create a justification for violence among their followers. This is a very, very dangerous and un-American game they are playing.
  • If this surprises you, you haven’t been paying attention, Part I.:  Speaking of liberals playing dangerous games, remember when the liberals who infest the EPA turned an entire river in Colorado and New Mexico yellow, when they accidentally caused the collapse of a pile of tailings from a coal mine?  Yeah…  Anyway, the Associated Press reports that, according to the EPA’s Inspector General’s office, the agency actually had no rules whatsover governing the conduct of its own employees when they inspect such mines.  If true, this would be literally the only aspect of our entire society over which the EPA had failed to develop rules.  But then, liberals always – ALWAYS – look to exempt themselves from the rules they wish to impose on everyone else.
  • If this surprises you, you haven’t been paying attention, Part II.:  Hey, guess what Lifezette reported yesterday?  If you guessed that Special Counsel and long-time James Comey crony Robert Mueller is stacking his staff with Hillary Clinton donors, you are the winner.  What did you expect, an honest investigation?  In Washington DC?  Yeah, that was never in the cards.
  • Rumors are flying all over Washington that the President is considering firing Mr. Mueller due to his obvious, massive conflicts of interests, and due to the plain and simple fact that he was appointed ostensibly to investigate the Democrat/media-created “Russia collusion” fantasy, which has been repeatedly demonstrated to have never happened.  So why continue to farce?  It’s a good point.  But here’s a better idea:  If Bob Mueller wants to demonstrate that he is the “honorable man” he has been portrayed as being by the Democrat/media complex, then how about resigning due to his obvious, massive conflicts of interest?  Yeah…that’s not going to happen.

Just another day in Trump Witch Hunt America.

When Slimy DC Swamp Dwellers Attack

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Creaky Old John McCain, whose incoherent questioning in last week’s James Comey hearing led to speculation about whether he was having a stroke or is suffering from dementia, chose yet another foreign venue in which to criticize President Donald Trump on Sunday.  He told the Guardian that U.S. “leadership” was better under Barack Obama than it currently is.  Mr. McCain has made a habit of bashing the current President on foreign soil and fake news media, something he never did to Barack Obama, even after Obama was revealed to have shipped more than $400 million in cash money to the Mullahs in Iran in the hold of a cargo plane in 2015.  This man poses as a “conservative” and as a “Republican,” but his public utterances, particularly in foreign venues, reveal his true nature as just one more of the worst kind of slimy inhabitant of the DC Swamp.
  • Speaking of slimy inhabitants of the DC swamp…:  Blessedly former bi-polar FBI Director James “I was trying to blend in with the drapes” Comey has reportedly landed himself a $10 million deal to pen a book in which he will expand even further on the web of lies, half-truths, demagoguery and betrayals of the American public’s trust that he rolled out over the last 24 months.  Can’t wait to read Chapter 7, The Art of Leaking Through Third Parties To The New York Times, or Chapter 10, When Hope Is A Command, or Chapter 13, How To Avoid Attention By Being a Foot Taller Than Everyone Else And Stationing Yourself In The Center Of a Room”.
  • San Fran Nan Pelosi told a fake journalist that she wished that George W. Bush, John McCain or Mitt Romney were president instead of Donald Trump.  Of course, she also wishes aliens would stop abducting her each Thursday evening, so she wishes a lot of things.
  • The UK Sunday Express reports that NASA has now discovered 10 asteriods that pose a threat to life on plant Earth.  Hell, they could find 40 more threats to life on earth than that serving in the U.S. Senate alone.  Look closer to home, folks.
  • Meanwhile, in case you missed all the fake reports in the fake news media about it – well, ok, the fake news media isn’t doing any reporting on it – the U.S. economy is booming under President Trump.  The Dow Jones Industrial average is up 15% since Election Day, the rate of unemployment is the lowest it’s been in 16 years, and the economy is expected to expand more rapidly during 2017 than during any year of the Obama Administration.  Business capital investment is way up, home sales are up, new home starts are way up, and manufacturing is expanding.
  • If you think any of this is an accident, you are wrong.  The biggest single problem with the U.S. economy over the last 8 years was the avalanche of new, unnecessary, onerous, soviet-style regulations coming down at a record pace from unelected operatives in the Obama bureaucracies.  This ever-expanding burden created an air of pessimism and gloom in the business community, discouraging capital investment.  The Trump program of rolling back many of these regulatory schemes, and halting the issuance of new ones has already reversed that pessimism, and the results are obvious.
  • The Democrats and fake news media know this, which is why the continue to focus on fantasy “scandals” and insist on multiple congressional investigations into them.  Sadly, many congressional Republicans are also swamp-dwellers, and are more than happy to cooperate.  This is the reality Trump faces – a bi-partisan DC establishment that is willing to destroy a nascent economic boom in order to protect the personal nests they have been feathering for decades, and a fake news media establishment that’s an integral part of the game.

Just another weekend in low-life DC Swamp dweller America.

That is all.

Dow, NASDAQ Rise On News World Is Ending. Go Figure.

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

  • Liberal heads exploded all over the fake news media Thursday, as President Trump very predictably announced that he was taking the U.S. out of the Paris Climate Accord transfer of wealth scheme, an action he had promised to take literally hundreds of times during the campaign.  Climate Fraud support groups went into all manner of hysterics, predicting the end of the world in just a few years, but the stock market rocketed up even as the President was making his announcement.  So obviously, the Dow Jones Industrials and NASDAQ had already priced the end of the world into their indeces.  Go figure.
  • Because the President said during his announcement that “I was elected to represent Pittsburgh, not Paris,” snarky liberal talking heads, along with the Mayor of Pittsburgh, snickered that he was stupid to use that city as a reference, since it had overwhelmingly voted for The Most Corrupt Woman In America.  What their condescension showed, however, was their own stupid mindset that Presidents are elected to serve only those people who voted for them.  Which is understandable, since that was certainly the modus operandi for Barack Obama for eight long years.  Mr. Trump, on the other hand, most likely intentionally chose a city that voted against him because he understands that he was elected to represent not just some Americans, but ALL Americans.  Don’t expect any of your liberal friends to understand this concept.
  • Some other highlights:
    • The Climate Frauds at the the ACLU announced that the President’s withdrawal from Paris would be a huge setback for racial justice in America, marking the first time anyone had labelled Carbon Dioxide as being racist in nature;
    • Billionaire Tom Steyer – who became a billionaire largely by investing in coal projects – declared the President’s action to be a”traitorous act”.  Honestly, nobody even knows what in the hell he meant by that, but hey, the ACLU must believe he’s a racist because he made so much money investing in CO2-belching coal.  So there.
    • Elon Musk announced that, in protest of the President’s action, he was removing himself from a couple of presidential advisory panels.  No doubt, those panels will sorely miss all of those self-serving press releases Mr. Musk issues after every comment he makes during their meetings.  How, oh, how will they go on?
    • MSNBC’s always heavily-moussed Donny Deutsch, who once made a lot of money doing something or other, but has spent the last 8 years styling his hair and having coffee with Joe and Mika, went right for the jugular, simply calling the President “a sociopath.”  So obviously, he still thinks Bill Clinton is president.  There’s no explaining that.
    • Serial liar Brian Williams told his brainwashed MSNBC audience that the President had made a “dark announcement on a sunny day in the Rose Garden,” and then told the story about how he was the one who planted that flag at Iwo Jima.

There’s so much more, but why go on?

  • Meanwhile, Kathy Griffin, the horribly un-funny comic who posted a photo of herself Tuesday holding a mocked-up severed head of President Trump, now claims she is being bullied by the Trump family, and will hold a press conference later today to talk about it.  No, really, I’m serious.  I swear I don’t make this stuff up.  Of course, this is just another cry for attention from a woman whose own actions have basically destroyed her career.  So of course, all of the fake news outlets in America will give her as much attention as she wants.  It’s what they do.

Just another day in Trump Derangement Syndrome America.

Predicting Trump’s Success Is Really Not Rocket Science

Today’s Campaign Update

(Because The Campaign Never Ends)

“How come you’re always right about Trump?” a friend asked me after he’d seen today’s news that the President had pulled the U.S. out of the Paris Climate Accord wealth redistribution scheme.  He was referring to my recent Forbes.com piece titled “For President Trump, Pulling Out Of Paris Is The Only Logical Move.”, which I wrote a week ago.

Well, first of all, I’m not always “right about Trump”. I’ve been wrong about plenty of Trump-related things since he announced his candidacy two years ago, and will continue being wrong about some things in the future.

Conceding that, I have had a pretty strong track record of being right about Trump-related predictions, certainly far better than the record possessed by those inside-the-Beltway “experts” who form what is held to be the “conventional wisdom” in the nation’s capital.  I told readers as early as October of 2015 that Trump was at that point pretty much a shoe-in to become the GOP nominee, due to historic trends in the GOP nominating process.  That was at a time when the George Wills, David Axelrods and every other DC pundit was writing him off because Ben Carson had assumed a temporary polling lead in the race.  I went into great detail as early as March 2016 about why Trump would beat Hillary Clinton in the general election, and held firm on that prediction through election day.

Since the election, I’ve also had a strong and very public record of predicting the things Mr. Trump would do and why he would succeed in doing them.  I still unashamedly predict he will serve a full first term and probably be elected to serve a full second term despite all the media-generated fake news hysteria surrounding his presidency thus far.  In fact, later in this piece, I’m going to tell you why that hysteria is most likely going to actually help him accomplish his major legislative policy goals.

But first:  why have I been mostly right about Mr. Trump where other, famous pundits have been almost unerringly wrong?  I’m afraid there’s no magic to it, no great genius on my part that accounts for it, and that the answer is really pretty simple:  I evaluate President Trump from the standpoint that he is an actual, fairly normal person, and I am old enough to be able to view first his candidacy and now his presidency through a lens of historical context.

In other words, it’s not exactly rocket science.  In fact, it’s very simple.

Dehumanizing a Person Clouds Judgment

Think about it:  the establishment, inside-the-beltway political class punditry have alternatively viewed Mr. Trump as either a) a clown (George Will, Charles Krauthammer, all the useful idiots in the NeverTrump crowd) or b) a monster (any liberal/progressive pundit/anchor/fake journalist you care to name).  To a person, regardless of their ideology, they view the current President as a freak, a complete outlier in the American political system, an illegitimate holder of the office whose every move is either stupid or outright evil.

They all immediately dehumanized Trump on the day he announced his candidacy, and by doing that, even the oldsters among them, like Will and Krauthammer, lost all ability to analyze his actions through the historical lens that they ordinarily bring to their public pronouncements.  Put simply, it is impossible to correctly predict the actions and potential of a man if you start by rejecting his humanity at the outset.

Now, the President does have a very mercurial personality, which makes it pretty much impossible to predict, for example, what he might decide to say on Twitter at 3:00 on any given morning, as with the whole “covfefe” thing.  On the other hand, when it comes to public policy, it’s actually very easy:  If Mr. Trump has made it a point to say he is going to do something, then he is almost certainly going to make a strong effort to get it done.  And if he makes a strong effort, his history shows he is very likely to win.  If one has the ability to analyze the political situation through an historical context, and has an understanding of how the political process works in Washington, it becomes fairly easy to predict whether or not he’s going to be successful.

Paris as an Example

The Paris Climate Accords is a good example of his doing what he has consistently said he is going to do.  If you read my Forbes piece, you know that my reasoning for believing he would pull the U.S. out of the Accords is due to the facts that a) he repeatedly promised to do so throughout his election campaign, and b) that he’s already gone about rescinding or rewriting pretty much every executive or regulatory action taken during the Obama years in their efforts to comply with the commitments Mr. Obama made on behalf of the country.   Thus, if President Trump had decided to remain in the Accord, the question would have become how in the world would he plan to bring the country into compliance with its demands?

Now, if you view Mr. Trump as an inhuman clown or monster who does things for no logical reason, then you can’t engage in the logical analysis necessary to reach that conclusion.  But if you view him as a human being – a pretty intelligent and wildly successful one, at that – then you already know that, where policy is concerned, he has shown a consistent bias towards acting in exactly this logical manner.  But he is human and humans make mistakes and often act illogically.  Paris could have turned out to be one such instance where Trump is concerned, but the smart money was always on his deciding to leave an agreement related to which he has already largely dismantled the country’s ability to comply.

Repeal and Replacement of ObamaCare

Repeal and replacement of Obamacare is another great example.  The “smart people” in DC largely expressed surprise that, upon assuming office, President Trump didn’t forget his promise to make it his top legislative priority and instead focus on easier things. Why?  Because they all believe he is an irrational clown or monster who doesn’t mean what he says.  But anyone who took the time to read Trump’s book and study his history had to conclude that he has throughout his life been someone who does basically what he has said he was going to do.  Yes, he’s open to negotiation over the details, but he has always worked to reach the overarching goals he has set.

Trump repeatedly promised during the campaign that repealing and replacing Obamacare would be his #1 legislative priority, and he has followed through on making it his #1 legislative priority.  Not tax reform, not anything else – Obamacare.  This should come as a surprise to…well, to no one.

When the first vote in the House failed, no one among the “smart people” in DC predicted that another, successful vote would take place less than a month later.  But it did. Why?  Because, right after the failed first vote, Trump issued a verbal “kill shot” at the members of the House Freedom Caucus, blaming them for the vote’s failure.  Not wanting to take that blame, it was the Freedom Caucus members who worked hardest to make sure a deal ultimately got made.

Again, that was all very predictable to anyone who had taken the time to actually observe how Trump influences people.

Now, we have Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell already complaining that he can’t see how he could ever possibly cobble together 50 votes to get Obamacare repealed and replaced, or on comprehensive tax reform, even though he and every other senate Republican who was up for re-election last year campaigned strongly on both promises.

Trump has been distracted recently by his international trip – a predictably very successful trip, by the way, despite conventional wisdom in DC that it would be a huge failure – and is now focused on getting his White House staff in order.  But it is a safe bet that, within the next couple of weeks, the President is going to begin to direct his kill shots and other means of persuasion on the Majority Leader, and that the Majority Leader’s rhetoric on those two big priorities will begin to “evolve.” In fact, he already began aiming tweets in McConnell’s direction on Tuesday.

The conventional wisdom in DC right now says that the President cannot hope to convince congress to act on major legislative priorities because of all of the leaks, impeachment talk and myriad other fake news that permeates the air waves.  This is utter nonsense.

In fact, the President obviously thrives on chaos, and has always viewed it as an opportunity rather than a hindrance.  Where congress is concerned, all of the sound and fury around Trump and the Democrats’ “Russia collusion” fantasy actually provides a great deal of cover for the legislative branch to get a ton of positive things done without attracting the main focus of a hostile press.  Despite all the false negative reporting about the President’s first 100 days in office, the truth is that congress sent more bills to his desk during that time than during the first 100 days of any recent president, more than twice as many as the Democrat-dominated 2009 congress sent to then-President Obama.

Why Scandal Talk Actually Helps

Where all the scandal talk is concerned, anyone with actual historical perspective would know that both Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton signed all sorts of major legislation during the periods of time when they were under threat of impeachment.  Those congresses, controlled by opposition parties, actually used those situations as leverage.  The reality today is that Republicans in congress have at least as much invested in both the Obamacare and tax reform issues as the president does.  Really even more so on tax reform, to which Mr. Trump was actually a late-comer.

Right now, pretty much all of the “smart people” in DC are telling you that Mr. Trump and the congressional Republicans will not be able to reach success on either issue.   They tell you this because their own de-humanization of the president clouds their judgment, and because of their lack of historical perspective.

Some Predictions

I’m telling you today, June 1, 2017, that President Donald Trump will, less than a year from today, have signed bills that repeal and replace Obamacare with a better system, and that enact major personal and corporate tax reform.  I’m also going to tell you that he will serve out his first term in office, be easily re-elected, and serve out his second term, unless the ongoing efforts by the Democrats and fake news media to de-humanize him and encourage violence against him and his supporters result in a successful assassination attempt, which is always a possibility.

But hey, who you gonna believe – me, or all those famous “smart people” who pop up on your TV each night?

This really is not rocket science.  Really.
