Durham and Barr Snag a Small Fish in an Ocean of Coup Cabal Sharks

“That’s just the beginning, I would imagine. This… what happened should never happen again,” President Trump said at a White House briefing Friday afternoon. “You’ll be hearing more.”

Durham’s “development” was a bigger deal than Barr indicated. – The guilty plea by ex-FBI/Mueller special counsel lawyer Kevin Clinesmith was not really surprising, but it is a big deal nonetheless, as it represents the first of what will likely become a series of ObamaGate dominoes to topple in the weeks to come.

In an interview with Captain Tick-Tock, Sean Hannity Thursday, Attorney General William Barr indicated that there would be a “development” in the John Durham investigation on Friday, but that it would not be “earth-shaking.” As is generally the case with Mr. Barr, that description turned out to be 100% accurate.

Clinesmith plead guilty to “making a false statement” to DOJ investigators about having altered an email about Carter Page in a manner that changed its entire meaning. Page had told investigators was a source for the CIA, and Clinesmith altered the email to say he was “not” a CIA source in order to support an FBI application for the third FISA warrant to spy on Mr. Page, which was executed in July, 2017.

Disturbingly, Clinesmith was assigned to the FBI’s National Security Division during 2016. He is an obviously leftist radical who bragged to colleagues about having played a part in the FBI’s role in trying to tilt the election towards Hillary Clinton, and to be working to “destroy the Republic.” Following Trump’s victory in 2016, Clinesmith, identified as “Attorney 2” in the Horowitz report, had this exchange with that fellow FBI lawyer:

Attorney 2: “I am numb.”

Other employee not involved in midyear investigation: “I can’t stop crying.”

Attorney 2: “That makes me even more sad.”

Employee “Like, what happened? You promised me this wouldn’t happen. YOU PROMISED…”

Attorney 2: “I am so stressed about what I could have done differently.”

Employee: “Don’t stress. None of that mattered. The FBI’s influence.”

Attorney 2: “I don’t know. We broke the momentum.”

Employee: “That is not so….”

Attorney 2: “I’m just devastated. I can’t wait until I can leave today and just shut off the world for the next four days…I just can’t imagine the systematic disassembly of the progress we made over the last 8 years. ACA is gone. Who knows if the rhetoric about deporting people, walls and crap is true. I honestly feel like there is going to be a lot more gun issues too, the crazies won finally. This is the tea party on steroids. And the GOP is going to be lost, they have to deal with an incumbent in 4 years. We have to fight this again. Also Pence is stupid.”

Attorney 2: “And it’s just hard not to feel like the FBI caused some of this. It was razor thin in some states. Plus my god damned name is all over the legal documents investigating his staff. So who knows if that breaks to him, what he is going to do.”

[End]

Clinesmith’s obvious hatred for President Trump and the American republic obviously made him the perfect FBI lawyer to be detailed over the Mueller Special Counsel probe when it got started in May 2017, and he was in that role, working directly with lead Mueller henchman Andrew Weissman, when he altered the email in question.

It’s important to remember that Clinesmith’s wrongdoing took place on the watch of Christopher Wray, not James Comey. It also took place under the watch of Rod Rosenstein after AG Jeff Sessions had recused himself. Rosenstein and Weissman were basically running the entire Department of Justice from May, 2017 through January, 2019, when William Barr came into the AG’s job.

Clinesmith was far from the only FBI employee who was involved in the attempted coup d’etat targeting President Trump. The Horowitz report named no fewer than five such skunks who brought disgrace on themselves during this sorry episode in U.S. history.

Thus, Clinesmith’s guilty plea in and of itself was not especially earth-shaking. But the way in which its thread is likely to reverberate throughout the entire apparatus of the FBI/DOJ coup cabal that existed during 2016 and 2017 is likely to be.

It’s key to note that, in his interview with Hannity, Barr also said that Durham’s efforts would not be delayed by political considerations over the upcoming election, and that there would be more to come from him soon. As I noted above, Barr’s public statements have a way of being proven true.

Stay tuned. The fun is just beginning, and payback is going to be hell.

That is all.

Today’s news moves at a faster pace than ever. Whatfinger is my go-to source for keeping up with all the latest events in real time.

    Domino 1, more to come.

This former FBI lawyer will commit suicide in a few days

What worries me are the reports that Brennan is evidently being questioned not as a suspect but simply for procedural details.

    1. David Blackmon - August 15, 2020

Marine06: Those “reports” are based on leaks by Brennan himself. That’s just Brennan attempting to set a media narrative. It is meaningless in terms of how Durham conducts his duties.

        Brennan: Analysis Corp.

        See Shadowgate Documentary on Bitchute

        1. brian - August 15, 2020

Don’t think I’ve seen that, I’ll have to check it out.

          Thx for the heads up

        2. brian - August 15, 2020

Is this the Millenial Millie documentary?? Looked on bitchute and it does not come up. I’ll search for it but if you have a link you might want to post it…

          1. brian - August 15, 2020

I did find the documentary on bitchute in a round about way. A search in bitchutes search bar didn’t produce it but it is there.

Having watched the first vid I was not surprised of the revelations of corruption etc, but definitely had the horizon broadened by the revelation of a few players I wasn’t aware of, not that I’m even remotely informed of the depth of evil.

I was a little ‘surprised’ tho that there was no mention of Alphabet(Google) nor Microcrap dirtball Gates involvements into all this as well. Especially Google. Though near the end it hints at the social crediting and Orwellian surveillance that are no doubt built upon the ‘Shadow’ software first build. I suspect the General is more the face of operations and not the real driver(s) sitting just out of sight.

With the ‘news’ of the day it remains healthy to be skeptical until verified. Only one real source for truth that reliable today… Its found in scripture. Read the Bible, your life depends on it.

Thanks DB, I thought I had heard that from a semi-reputable source, guess that was fed to the source by Beelzebub his own self. Besides Obunghole, Brennan is the golem I’d most like to see hanging from the gibbet. AntiAmerican communist traitor.

      3. phineas gage - August 15, 2020

Brennan is a man who has a great deal to worry about.

In addition to the lower-level players like Clinesmith, I’m wondering if Durham didn’t cut a deal with at leat one higher-level figure. Given how the rest of the cabal is trying to throw Comey under the bus, it wouldn’t surprise me if he turned.

Unless this dirtball gives up evidence and testimony to bury those at the top then he should have the FULL weight of the law applied to his traitorous hiney. If he gives up the coup cabal swine at the top then take off say….. 10 minutes of his sentence.

IMO, I think because of the nature of the ‘crimes’, sedition and traitor, they should be held in front of a military tribunal, they are and should be considered communist, enemy combatants. These coup actions are not civil in nature.

    1. phineas gage - August 15, 2020

His grand jury testimony has already been given. Durham is just about at the end of his work, which is why the information is starting to come out now.

I expect Durham cut plea deals with many of the cabal members. I’ve guessed at Strzok and Baker, but others wouldn’t surprise me either.

For example, it’s remarkable how rarely the name Bill Priestap is mentioned.

        1. Silas - August 15, 2020

I suspect Priestap was the first to roll.

          1. brian - August 15, 2020

Well there are only two options there. Either the FBI Wray has been hiding him, moving him around under the radar to keep him from testifying. Or he’s been low-keyed to keep him from a case of arkinside… Time will tell….

          2. phineas gage - August 15, 2020

I think he and his family have been in witness protection for some time now.

I think Bruce Ohr may also turn up again soon. The dynamic with his leftist wife will be interesting.

      2. brian - August 15, 2020

I should have used the ‘past tense’, my bad. The fault of not fleshing out the response but just shotgun’n it… and yes you are right, its mostly a done deal already.

  5. mhess9 - August 15, 2020

I’m somewhat cautiously optimistic. LOL Been led down this road many times over the past 2 years. To quote Green Day(of all bands!) ‘Wake Me Up When September Ends”…

  6. Silas - August 15, 2020

“the crazies won finally.” And that, my friends, sums up what they think of us. We are the crazy ones. Crazy to believe that the Constitution should be the law of the land. Crazy to beleive that the individual is more important than the collective. I would go on, but we all know who the crazy ones really are. And they’re criminals to boot.

  7. Gregg - August 15, 2020

It will be very interesting to see how far all this actually goes with “All the (former) President’s (and the former Vice-President’s – men (and – sort of – women)”.

I’m hoping the trials and convictions of all the players take the same amount of time as the cabal took in their efforts to destroy the president – like four years. The media will have two choices on how they will ‘cover’ the trials: 1) Ignore or severely downplay most of it in which case convictions will happen in due course with enough coverage to keep in in the public domain, or, 2) they will have to continue to rail against each case by stating things like Barr is Trump’s lackey, his personal prosecutor, his “wingman”, which is also good, because it will keep the corruption of Obamagate front and center in the news for years and, by extension, tainting the Democratic Party much worse than Watergate tainted the GOP.

If prosecuted fully, Obamagate will make Watergate look like a little league game versus game seven of the world series.

Remember, Watergate was a scandal involving Nixon and his campaign staff, breaking into the DNC for reasons only GOD knows because there was no way Nixon was going to lose to McGovern. It really only involved Nixon’s own people and a his efforts to be loyal to them and protect (cover for) them by stonewalling the partisan driven investigation.

Obamagate was not only the planned attempt to defeat an opponent, but a coup designed to overthrow a duly elected president or at least cripple his ability to function. It involved Walking Eagle, her campaign, and the whole DNC in COLLUSION with Obama and many (scores at least) higher ups in a CONSPIRACY by much of the government intelligence and justice department. It also incorporated the COLLUSION efforts of numerous foreign players and governments to CONSPIRE against Trump and his people And many of these conspiring governments are our supposed allies.

(Nixon’s own people, without his knowledge or approval, did Watergate, whereas, OBAMA used his/our federal government to attack an innocent Trump campaign and its’ staff, and an innocent President Trump – BIG DIFFERENCE).

Watergate was Nixon’s Pop Warner scrimmage to Obama(gate)’s Super Bowl, and if justice is truly served it will go down as the biggest Super Bowl of all political scandal/corruption.

    1. phineas gage - August 15, 2020

Nixon’s only crime was the cover-up, because he was trying to protect the knuckleheads who carried out the break-in. And his paranoia in installing the taping system.

He is the most cruelly treated and underestimated of all presidents. I personally rank him in the top 15. The man was almost never wrong, which is why the Left reviled him, and still does.

    2. Silas - August 15, 2020

It will be interesting to see who will fall on their sword to prevent The One” from being fully implicated in this. Even though we all know the egotixtical sob was in on it from the beginning.

      1. phineas gage - August 15, 2020

He won’t be legally implicated by Durham–they won’t go there. There are far too many political considerations regarding the black vote, as well as national stability in terms of going after a former president.

Where I think you will see it is in Barr’s report.

  8. Silas - August 15, 2020

The fact that nearly half of our fellow “citizens” are not upset by this in the least is telling.
The media will be forced to cover it, but they’ll do their best to politicize it. There is no truth in them anymore.

  9. David Oldham - August 15, 2020

If Barr believes snagging small fish will be sufficient he is deluding himself. I personally do not trust him to bring in the big ones. We shall see as it would not be the first time I would be wrong…LOL.

    1. phineas gage - August 15, 2020

I don’t think we have any reason not to trust him to this point. The delay has been all about allowing Durham to have the time that he needs. They only get one shot at this.
