Celebrate: Navarro Op-Ed Signals White House Break With Fauci

Peter Navarro, the Office of Trade and Manufacturing Policy for President Donald Trump, grew weary of Dr. Anthony Fauci’s grandstanding and chronic flip-flopping in public long ago. Back in April, Axios reported on a confrontation Navarro had with the little menace to American society during a Coronavirus Task Force meeting at the White House:

Toward the end of the meeting, Hahn began a discussion of the malaria drug hydroxychloroquine, which Trump believes could be a “game-changer” against the coronavirus.

  • Hahn gave an update about the drug and what he was seeing in different trials and real-world results.
  • Then Navarro got up. He brought over a stack of folders and dropped them on the table. People started passing them around.
  • “And the first words out of his mouth are that the studies that he’s seen, I believe they’re mostly overseas, show ‘clear therapeutic efficacy,’” said a source familiar with the conversation. “Those are the exact words out of his mouth.”

Navarro’s comments set off a heated exchange about how the Trump administration and the president ought to talk about the malaria drug, which Fauci and other public health officials stress is unproven to combat COVID-19.

  • Fauci pushed back against Navarro, saying that there was only anecdotal evidence that hydroxychloroquine works against the coronavirus.
  • Researchers have said studies out of France and China are inadequate because they did not include control groups.
  • Fauci and others have said much more data is needed to prove that hydroxychloroquine is effective against the coronavirus.
  • As part of his role, Navarro has been trying to source hydroxychloroquine from around the world. He’s also been trying to ensure that there are enough domestic production capabilities inside the U.S.

Fauci’s mention of anecdotal evidence “just set Peter off,” said one of the sources. Navarro pointed to the pile of folders on the desk, which included printouts of studies on hydroxychloroquine from around the world.

  • Navarro said to Fauci, “That’s science, not anecdote,” said another of the sources.

Navarro started raising his voice, and at one point accused Fauci of objecting to Trump’s travel restrictions, saying, “You were the one who early on objected to the travel restrictions with China,” saying that travel restrictions don’t work. (Navarro was one of the earliest to push the China travel ban.)

[End]

Yesterday, in response to Fauci’s continuing efforts to undermine national policy in his myriad media appearances, Navarro penned a sterling op-ed for USA Today. As is his habit, Navarro is devastatingly succinct and precise in laying out the many reasons why Fauci deserves to be ignored in the nation’s ongoing efforts to effectively deal with the Wuhan Virus pandemic.

From the op-ed:

Dr. Anthony Fauci has a good bedside manner with the public, but he has been wrong about everything I have interacted with him on.

In late January, when I was making the case on behalf of the president to take down the flights from China, Fauci fought against the president’s courageous decision — which might well have saved hundreds of thousands of American lives.

When I warned in late January in a memo of a possibly deadly pandemic, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases was telling the news media not to worry.

When I was working feverishly on behalf of the president in February to help engineer the fastest industrial mobilization of the health care sector in our history, Fauci was still telling the public the China virus was low risk.

When we were building new mask capacity in record time, Fauci was flip-flopping on the use of masks.

[End]

There’s more, and you should go read the piece in full. The simple fact of the matter – as we have pointed out repeatedly here – is that Fauci has yet to get any single aspect of this viral gift from China right. As Navarro points out, the little menace has been wrong about everything, often with catastrophic results to our society.

Even now, Fauci is out in the media declaring that it would be “dangerous” for the U.S. to reopen schools this fall when literally every other nation on earth is opening their own schools and getting their kids back to learning. As clearly exhibited by his multiple love letter to Hillary Clinton and all of the selfies he has had taken with Clinton, Pelosi and other leftist luminaries, Fauci is nothing more or less than a tool of the Democrat Party who has worked from Day 1 to undermine America’s response to the virus, in the process intentionally undermining America itself.

Fauci himself admitted last week that he has not been allowed to brief the President in more than 2 months, and the fact that Navarro was allowed to author that op-ed clearly signals that his relationship with the White House has been officially severed.

That, folks, is a very good thing for our country.

That is all.

Fauci is simply the latest in a long line of examples of the perverse rule of leftist scientists failing their way to the top with repeated failures (Paul Ehrlich is another that comes to mind). It doesn’t matter how wrong they are–in fact it seems to enhance their success–as long as they faithfully propagate the ideological line of the left.

You are correct that Trump appears to have effectively removed Fauci from the policy arena long ago. He simply is a willing tool of the Left now, and there is no way to stop him from spouting off. My guess is that he will be the last to realize when his thirty seconds of fame is over and the Left is disposing of him.

Navarro is one of the genuine stalwarts of the Trump administration. Probably 10-12 people belong to that group. That is how isolated they are in Washington.

AAAAAAND the media comes to flaccid fauci’s victimhood rescue because Orange Man Bad isn’t listening to him any more… obviously trying to kill Americans by not catering to the ‘**cough** experts.

Notice the scarf queen still promoting the mask wearing and even stating its a ‘fashion statement’. Trying to shame people into wearing masks. Notice Pence still catering to the left by saying he’ll be wearing a mask when he visits Louisiana. Even tho the data points to the covid as being a dud its important to keep pandering to the looney left and its media propaganda screech machine.

When will Republicans, conservatives, finally wake up and shake off these feckless weaklings???

A break with Fauci doesn’t really matter at this point….the damage has been done. And he can still spout off to CNN and MSNBC. There has been so much disinformation spread by him and others, the narratives have been set and the policies are being implemented. Here in MI we’ve already seen violence over the mask rule. And Herr Whitmer has already hinted that mandatory masks for the next month and a half are a determining factor as to whether our kids go back to school in the fall. So if the number of positive cases don’t decline, she has an out to keep schools closed. Maybe even another lockdown like Kalifornia is doing. And we all know how they are inflating the numbers now. Everything is political, everything is about power, and everything is about the election.

It’s going to backfire on them. You can see it beginning even now.

I love POTUS The Donald…but let’s be honest…he’s way behind the curve with Fauci. This quack should have been bounced months ago. Let’s hope our president has learned a lesson and won’t wait any longer to shed do-nothing Barr, and it may already be too late for his removal to do any good…

Trump is smarter than that. That plays into what the media wants. He simply removes them from any area of influence. Firing them turns them into a martyr. Fauci would be saying what he is saying no matter what.

Trump didn’t give the media the confrontational street moment they wanted with the protests. And he played Fauci the right way as well. Fauci more and more just seems to be a boring gadfly.

I would ike to see some savvy attorney find a business owner and go file a class action suit against Fraudci. Get every person whose business was lost, lost their livelihood or home because of his inepttitude to join in and bankrupt the little fake. 40 years ago he promised America a vaccine for AIDS. Hasn’t happened. Vaccine for Covid19? Useless just as most flu vaccines are because the viruses mutate and the “experts” are predicting what strain will be striking us during flu season.

As my dear Grandma loved to say: “Sue the bastard!”

CDC cut out of the data loop:

    https://www.hhs.gov/sites/default/files/covid-19-faqs-hospitals-hospital-laboratory-acute-care-facility-data-reporting.pdf

That will make it much more difficult to sustain the propaganda in a believable way.

I glanced at the 13 page link you posted and still we get all this fraudulent reporting on ‘recorded’ cases and CV-19 deaths.

THIRTEEN PAGES and we get still highly inflated and dubious ‘facts’ as the left wants them portrayed. Who writes this crap? The same people who wrote the 2,000 plus page ACA (Obamacare)?

Since the word “accuracy” only appeared once in the whole thirteen pages, it can be disregarded by the bureaucrats who have an agenda and, in many cases are rewarded (paid) to report CV-19 cases and deaths, so it doesn’t exactly take a rocket scientist to see we are going to get grossly inflated garbage counts, especially from the folks who stand to gain from such inflated counts especially when the ultimate goal is to beat Trump and NOTHING else, by any means necessary. It doesn’t specifically say not to lie about, or fabricate the CV-19 numbers, so we get the garbage we get.

The real problem is if and when there is a real and deadly disease, few if anyone will listen the the little CDC punks who cried wolf during this scamdemic. As an example, the CDC could come out with a report tomorrow saying there is a newly found radon threat in Tennessee and put out ‘guidelines’ about the need to to install a radon ventilation system in our crawlspaces and I would ignore them. They could tell me rain is wet and I would have to go outside in a storm to confirm it.

Don’t defund police – Defund the CDC!

PS: About the ‘reported’ explosion of cases of CV-19 in Oklahoma which the left is blaming on Trump’s Tulsa Rally last month, you remember, the one the left said was a dud because few (only 6,800 or so out of a 19,000 seat facility) attended. So what is it? How can the rally that few attended, cause this CV-19 explosion, yet all the “mostly peaceful” rallies that caused a half billion dollars worth of damage in one state alone remain blameless?

Now the blame for the Florida outbreak in ‘cases’ is being blamed on Memorial day weekend vacationing visitors from the northeast CV-19 ‘hotspots’. Um, most people I know from the northeast go to FL in the winter to the warm weather; I don’t know of anyone who looks to go to FL in the summer when it gets very hot. Obviously some people do visit FL in the summer, but I have a hard time believing a huge influx of New Yorkers on one weekend caused the numbers to rise so dramatically. More likely, the huge increase in the FL numbers are the result of the ‘mistakes’ in the lab and hospital ‘reporting’.

What the hell is going on with the Trump administration?

FOX Radio News on the Rush program just reported that the Whitehouse did not sanction Navarro’s Op-Ed in USA Today, and the ‘news’ report gives the impression that Navarro acted alone.

I just don’t understand how, after nearly three and a half years, the Trump Administration still seems to be committing rookie unforced errors that lend credence to the oft reported chaos that reins within the Trump orbit.

[Most recent update on the news speaks to bypassing the data from the CDC – so, again, what is happening?]

Where is Trump or his Chief of Staff coordinating the ‘message’? I mean, come on! How hard can this be since it seems he only has a dozen or so people on his side in that whole stinking town? Fortunately these (relatively) minor missteps come and go and have a real short shelf life, just like all the lame anti-Trump books.

But why does this administration heap praise on people like Barr and then undercuts people who are trying to convey a winning and true message?

PS: As I was writing this, I got a call from the RNC asking for money and I gave a three minute spiel on my dissatisfaction with the RNC doing nothing but asking for money and yet not reaching out to me in a personal way when I sent my [$20 – TRUMP – $20] dollar bill bumper sticker which Dave posted as a picture at the top of one of his open forum posts back in May. I was polite to her – since she is only doing essentially a telemarketing job – but since she said it was a recorded call, I asked her to clip the recording and send it off to Ronna McDaniel (RNC Chairwoman) or someone higher up in the RNC food chain. She said she would and we both wished each other to have a nice day.

I also got two (2) separate Trump and RNC campaign mailers in the mail today – they are going to get my letter and two more bumper stickers.

I’ll update you all with any real response I get from the RNC, but I’ll bet Barr gets ten high level convictions BEFORE I hear from anyone of weight in the RNC.

You are doing it right. When getting a phone call or flyer/letter asking for money respond. Explain to them that because of the lack of effort on their part to fight against the communist haters or in supporting the Pres. that you’ll only give them five bucks. but would have given substantially more.

The reason for not giving more, lamer rino’s like All-Hat gramsie, mittens and company, or the fact that congress has, out side of appointing judges, been seriously lame, or that the apparent lack of judicial oversight and criminals walking or any of the other miriade of swamp inaction taking place prevents you from donating more than the five dollars….

His story has grown tiresome just like the plandemic panic porn. He has been in the bureaucracy longer than Gropey Joe Biden.
So many conflicts of interest in his portfolio that the enemedia will never mention.
