Bubba and the Noose – Just Another Scam

The Conservative Treehouse reported this early Tuesday morning, and now it has been confirmed. The FBI has completed its investigation of the incident in which NASCAR has claimed that someone left a noose in the Talladega Raceway garage assigned to African American driver Bubba Wallace. It turns out the “noose” was actually the pull rope for the garage door, and had been tied in the shape of a tiny noose – so people could get a batter handhold on the damn thing – in the garage since last year, when no one could have possibly known that the garage would end up being assigned to NASCAR’s only Black driver:

FBI Statement released late Tuesday afternoon:

On Monday, fifteen FBI special agents conducted numerous interviews regarding the situation at Talladega Superspeedway. After a thorough review of the facts and evidence surrounding this event, we have concluded that no federal crime was committed.

The FBI learned that garage number 4, where the noose was found, was assigned to Bubba Wallace last week. The investigation also revealed evidence, including authentic video confirmed by NASCAR, that the noose found in garage number 4 was in that garage as early as October 2019. Although the noose is now known to have been in garage number 4 in 2019, nobody could have known Mr. Wallace would be assigned to garage number 4 last week.

The decision not to pursue federal charges is proper after reviewing all available facts and all applicable federal laws. We offer our thanks to NASCAR, Mr. Wallace, and everyone who cooperated with this investigation.

From NASCAR:

“The FBI has completed its investigation at Talladega Superspeedway and determined that Bubba Wallace was not the target of a hate crime,” NASCAR said in a statement. “The FBI report concludes, and photographic evidence confirms, that the garage door pull rope fashioned like a noose had been positioned there since as early as last fall. This was obviously well before the 43 team’s arrival and garage assignment. We appreciate the FBl’s quick and thorough investigation and are thankful to learn that this was not an intentional, racist act against Bubba. We remain steadfast in our commitment to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all who love racing.”

Good lord. What a bunch of drama queens.

UPDATE: I just can’t leave this there.

It is important to note, I think, that each and every NASCAR official, driver and pit crew member present for yesterday’s race at Talladega participated willingly in this scam, whether they knew it was a scam or not. NASCAR in fact staked its’ sport’s entire reputation on what turns out to be a damn fairy tale.

It is possible that Bubba Wallace himself was not aware of the fact that this was in fact a scam. On the other hand, who among you would be surprised that the guy driving the “Black Lives Matter” race car would willingly and knowingly become racing’s version of Jussie Smollet?

The most infuriating part of this is knowing with absolute certainty that the U.S. Department of Justice will make no effort whatsoever to serve justice upon the jackass or jackasses who wasted FBI resources by filing what was without any question at all a false report.

I sure am glad I never was a car racing fan, because I would have to give that up along with the NFL and Major League Baseball after this.

That is all.

Today’s news moves at a faster pace than ever. Whatfinger.com is my go-to source for keeping up with all the latest events in real time.

He supports BLM so that tells you everything you need to know about him.

When everyone is a victim, no one is a victim.

When all this crap that is going on gets resolved, the bad actors are either going to win or they are going to be discredited and punished. If the bad actors (on all levels everywhere) are allowed to prevail and continue, we are lost as a nation, because there will be a real violent civil war and no one is going to take the time for fairness or due process. The real victims are going to suffer along with all the faux victims and that will be a real tragedy.

I really do and will fear and feel for the true innocents and the real victims when TSHTF. Their genuine pain and suffering will be the real legacy of the Antifa/BLM and other radical (bowel) movements.

We, and our national founding ideals, will suffer greatly and perhaps irreparably if these radical agitators prevail and force drastic retribution – the country may well have to be destroyed to be saved.

The question is: Do we really have to go that far down the road to figure this out? Probably 50-50 yes right now unless something drastically changes; the odds will go up greatly if the Dems win in November – it’s as simple as that.

I’m with you, Dave: I never watch the boring stuff, so I won’t be boycotting the events. From the people I know who watch it, listening to their little dramas, it’s more like a soap opera. I remember “Jeff Gordon this,” and “Jeff Gordon that.” Hell, I don’t know if he’s still racing or if he retired! And I really don’t care.

But as you said: the knee jerk reaction is one pitstop too many.

Movie Title: A Pitstop Too Far.

Heh heh heh! Good one Dave. I was thinking Talledaga Frights, but like yours better.

I remember a black “journalist/football player” whose name I won’t remember, who opined that we would never boycott football, because…”Whatchyo gonna do? Read?”

Apparently, this was something that he never considered doing, a foreign concept. Reading?

I also remember when a football player bragged that all he had to do was train for a year and he “could win 8 gold medals” in swimming, too. Yeah, sure. Couldn’t make 100 meters without having a coronary, you fat tub of dog stools..

I also remember when J Lo was upset that Michael Phelps (“that swimmer”) was getting all the attention, when SHE participated in a triathlon after having a baby! Since I didn’t respect her before, I lost no respect for her after that. She’s so special, as the Pretenders once sang.

“So special. Gotta have some of your attention! give it to me!”

On the other hand, several of Baltimore Ravens’ players came to help Michael Phelps when he was in serious trouble, mentally and spiritually, and he came to know Christ. Not all NASCAR drivers nor football players are ignant jerks. (But J Lo is, no matter what.)

Bubba is a real-life Bubba. The name says it all.

“Dur. My name is Bubba. Dur.”

That french guy Juicy did it… ‘He looka like a man’… from SNL when it was funny…

  7. Silas - June 23, 2020

I said to the wife this smells funny. As the day/night wore on and the video from last year appeared, I was on the fence. Surely there was no way a garage door pull rope could be conceived as a noose? Boy, was I wrong. Not only could somebody be so dumb as do so, they amplified it up to 11.9 on the dial, had a parade of solidarity and now they look like a bunch of saps. And nobody will pay for the wasted resources or filing a false report. And I now want to know who made the initial claim. Bet that gets swept under the rug.

We had already decided to quit NASCAR when they started virtue signalling by banning the battle flag and started to sing we are the world with blm. Another rainy/slow Sunday past time down the drain.

    1. Gregg - June 23, 2020

Yep Silas, the libs and their leftist buddies are taking the fun out of almost everything, but hey, you’ll still be able to get an abortion if you knock someone up on a slow rainy Sunday afternoon – and have the taxpayers pay for it in many cases.

With all the social distancing, (unless you’re hooking up with strangers via the internet which Fluki said was ok) and forced house arrest with the kids not being in school, there is a great opportunity for families to return to a more family oriented environment. I’m not saying we’re going return to “Father Knows Best” or “Ozzie and Harriet”, and there is always the chance that there could be many negatives coming from the financial impact and domestic issues… But I believe things will change on how America chooses to spend their entertainment dollars.

The NFL will be able to play their games with ‘appropriate social distancing’ because few fans will attend the games when the game plan includes kneeling – so don’t fret Fluki, all is well. The NHL and NBA, NASCAR, who needs them? I had thought MLB would have had the best chance to rebound, but the spoiled millionaire brats can’t even negotiate a reasonable 1/2 (82 game) season with the billionaire brat owners over how much they will be paid when a quarter of the country lost most of its earning potential.

As far as I’m concerned, the NFL was on life support after the 2017-18 Kaperdick led kneeling; they’re dead to me now and forever. The ‘brilliance’ of the MLB negotiators are going to force the commissioner to mandate a resumed short season and poison the well for the upcoming collective bargaining agreement in 2021. Look for a strike in 2022 which will be the final death knell for that sport. I say to hell with all pro and “amateur” college spectator sports. The same goes for the ‘activist’ loudmouth and absolutely stupid radical insipid Hollywood punks of all ages.

All these spoiled ignorant punks will be shocked when they don’t get their millions and go broke, and that may be the best thing to come out of 2020.

      1. Silas - June 23, 2020

I think you are correct that families are discovering many things. Like what little Susie and Johnny are being indoctrinated with and seeing how they are addicted to their computers and smart phones. Hopefully it result in their young minds being saved.
They will have also learned how to live, to some extent without junk/fast food.
And actually spend time together as a family.

I have a friend who lives, eats and sleeps MLB. He was astounded when I told him I quit watching and following it decades ago after their first really big strike. I told him that the idea that these guys were already getting paid big bucks to play a game kids
go out and solicit sponsors, do candy sales drives and pay to play made it disgusting that they wanted more.

Quit watching NFL thanks to their allowing politics work it’s way onto the field. Looks like college ball is it’s way down the same path.

The death of pro and amateur sports and the “entertainment” (this includes video games) industry can’t come soon enough.

Is this big Dudda head going to offer an apology? This group of yahoos calls in the army over a loop of cord used to pull down garage doors and everybody’s a racist. More like everybody’s a moron.

    1. bcsryan - June 24, 2020

The dumb dindu cut off the loop and now the door is hard to pull. There’s not enough cord to tie a new loop. Maybe some cracker can replace the rope and show Bubba how to tie his shoes.

  9. D3F1ANT - June 23, 2020

Bubba Smollett chose fleeting pity from the domestic terrorists for fake victimhood over the effort it would have taken to become beloved through victory on the track.

    1. brian - June 23, 2020

I wonder if he thought he should be given the win by virtue of his melanin. Reparations after all…

Its fascinating to watch these clowns do exactly the same things over and over and expect different results… They really are insane. You have to admire their tenacity tho… Even tho the well of stupid is bottomless they are determined to find the bottom each and ever day…

      Its a…. clown show…

      1. Gregg - June 23, 2020

Love your analogy – they’re spot on. You can’t fix stupid…

  10. Jimmy MacAfee - June 24, 2020

As the cliche goes: the only exercise they (the now-woke NASCAR drivers) get is jumping to conclusions. Their only question is: “how high?”

I used to look at the racing as something honorable, decent, if a little soap operish at times, but seeing them all march like brain-dead saps? No respect is due to these morons.

They all jumped on cue. Sad.

  11. Ken MIller - June 24, 2020

Wait it is the FIBies maybe they decided to do the hoax. After all they are known for that kind of thing

  12. Dr. Frank - June 24, 2020

15 FBI agents to investigate a rope??? Would it be a “rope-a-dope?”
