Trump Gives Speech the Media Demanded – CNN, MSNBC Hardest Hit

The Evening Campaign Update

Well, everyone at CNN and MSNBC are now regretting they spent the last 48 hours demanding President Trump make a speech.

Boy, what a speech it was.

Here’s the Transcript:

Thank you very much. My fellow Americans, my first and highest duty as president is to defend our great country and the American people. I swore an oath to uphold the laws of our nation and that is exactly what I will do.

All Americans were rightly sickened and revolted by the brutal death of George Floyd. My administration is fully committed that for George and his family, justice will be served. He will not have died in vain, but we cannot allow the righteous cries and peaceful protesters to be drown out by an angry mob. The biggest victims of the rioting are peace loving citizens in our poorest communities and as their president, I will fight to keep them safe.

I will fight to protect you. I am your president of law and order and an ally of all peaceful protesters. But in recent days, our nation has been gripped by professional anarchists, violent mobs, arsonists, looters, criminals, rioters, Antifa and others.

A number of state and local governments have failed to take necessary action to safeguard their residents. Innocent people have been savagely beaten like the young man in Dallas, Texas, who was left dying on the street or the woman in upstate New York, viciously attacked by dangerous thugs. Small business owners have seen the dreams utterly destroyed.

New York’s finest have been hit in the face with bricks, brave nurses who have battled the virus are afraid to leave their homes. A police precinct has been overrun here in the nation’s Capitol, the Lincoln Memorial and the World War II Memorial have been vandalized.

One of our most historic churches was set a blaze. A federal officer in California, an African American enforcement hero was shot and killed. These are not acts of peaceful protest, these are acts of domestic terror. The destruction of innocent life and the spilling of innocent blood is an offense to humanity and a crime against God.

America needs creation not destruction, cooperation not contempt, security not anarchy, healing not hatred, justice not chaos. This is our duty and we will succeed – 100% we will succeed. Our country always wins.

That is why I am taking immediate presidential action to stop the violence and restore security and safety in America. I am mobilizing all available, federal resources, civilian and military, to stop the rioting and looting to end the destruction and arson and to protect the rights of law abiding Americans, including your second amendment rights.

Therefore, the following measures are going into effect immediately.

First, we are ending the riots and lawlessness that has spread throughout our country. We will end it now. Today I have strongly recommended to every governor to deploy the national guard in sufficient numbers that we dominate the streets, mayors and governors must establish an overwhelming law enforcement presence until the violence has been quelled.

If a city or state refuses to take the actions that are necessary to defend the life and property of their residents, then I will deploy the United States military and quickly solve the problem for them. I am also taking swift and decisive action to protect our great Capitol Washington DC. What happened in this city last night was a total disgrace.

As we speak, I am dispatching thousands and thousands of heavily armed soldiers, military personnel, and law enforcement offices to stop the rioting, looting, vandalism assaults and the wanton destruction of property. We are putting everybody on warning our seven o’clock curfew will be strictly enforced. Those who threatened innocent life and property will be arrested, detained and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

I want the organizers of this terror to be on notice that you will face severe criminal penalties and lengthy sentences in jail. This includes Antifa and others who are leading instigators of this violence.

One law and order and that is what it is. One law, we have one beautiful law and once that is restored and fully restored, we will help you, we will help your business and we will help your family. America is founded upon the rule of law. It is the of our prosperity, our freedom and our very way of life, but where there is no law, there is no opportunity, where there is no justice there is no Liberty, where there is no safety there is no future.

We must never give in to anger or hatred if malice or violence rains, then none of us is free. I take these actions today with firm resolve and with a true and passionate love for our country by far our greatest days lie ahead.

Thank you very much and now I’m going to pay my respects to a very, very special place. Thank you very much.

[End]

And then he did this:

Earlier in the day, the President held a conference call with the nation’s governors and told them to do their damn jobs or he would do it for them. Every Democrat on the call was horrified at the prospect of actually having to do their jobs. No Republicans expressed any concerns.

And that’s all you really need to know about that.

That is all.

    Gotta love it…

Barr is actually going to be forced into producing results… WAY TO GO TRUMP….

Bet Whitmer wet her panties, and Jay Inslee did, too.

I’m still smiling that ANTIFA is now a declared terror organization.

Me too. Mine’s getting bigger by the day.

      1. brian - June 1, 2020

        yep… I’m on that train too…Need popcorn

  4. Gregg - June 1, 2020

Bravo Zulu Mr. President. Carry On!

Ouch. I AM a DJT supporter, period. I believe him, and in him. Here comes my pre-conceived notion of “heavily armed”: Clubs? Shields? Center-fired ammo loaded into magazines? I truly hope that these troops are well-armed, well-trained (given that this is US military vs. US citizens)
and ALLOWED to fire upon the fringe elements that local law enforcement have been PREVENTED from handling.

This, in my opinion, EXCLUDES California, Oregon and Washington. Their “law enforcement” has been relegated to either observers or cheerleaders to the destructive and adolescent mob behavior of “resistance” people who are old enough to know better.

Sorry for the long post….am no where NEAR the wisdom of McAfee and others in Mr. Blackmon’s comment columns…. Yet…. I’m fed up with the words of OTHER keyboard warriors in various on-line articles. Antifa now professes “into the suburbs”. If it happens here (I’m just outside Raleigh), it will prove to be tragic. NOT funny. NOT glorious. Deadly. Suburbs = homes….not store-fronts, not heavily insured businesses. Families. People who live in peace.

Violence against people, institutions and static monuments that have NOTHING to do with their “anger” is pointless…..

Sigh. Sorry again for the length…..this stuph just really gets me ……I call it urinating without control….a more sophisticated way of saying I’m P***** Off.

Thanks, Mr. Blackmon for letting me vent….but if I’m off the rails please (WITH my permission!) just delete this comment….

    1. brian - June 1, 2020

Nothing wrong with your comments at all. Fact is your voice adds to the discussions here and voice what every person with functioning brain cells knows and feels about this nonsense. Thank you for speaking out, it truly helps.

Pray these basement dwellers don’t come to your nieghbourhood, but stand with your nieghbours and show clearly, with arms, that these dirtballs will meet a wall… maybe one of copper if they try to attack.

    2. Gregg - June 1, 2020

As one who vents here often with lengthy commentary, I look forward to hearing more from you.

I appreciate Dave doesn’t a thousand character limit.

    3. David Blackmon - June 1, 2020

Vent all you want. I live in the suburbs, too. My guns are well-oiled and fully loaded. I pray I never have to use them.

      1. Boarwild - June 1, 2020

As are mine as I’m right in the belly of the beast – Studio City, CA. I understand Antifa loons are going ape sh** right next door to me in Van Nuys.

    4. Jimmy MacAfee - June 1, 2020

Crapt hitting fan in Lynchburg, mostly dispersed crowds.

But where will they slink off to? Not far from the action here. I’m staying up all night with some peacekeepers at hand, but with a feeling of determination and calm, even if I’m not exactly a model of courage. You have a right to feel upset; It would not be normal to feel otherwise. But I do pray in the Name of Jesus that you will be given His reassurance and the peace that passes all understanding, and that all you know and love will be safe,
      amen

  6. Silas - June 1, 2020

The President should have broadcast his conference call with the governors to the whole country. That would have been sweeet!

    1. Gregg - June 1, 2020

And I hope the conference call to the governors also included a demand that the political economic anarchists, e.g. the Democrat Governors and Mayors open up their states and cities or he will do it for them too.

These A$$HOLES allowed all the “protests” happen with no “social distancing” and masks – some “protestors” donned masks for reasons other than CV-19 for sure.

If they can allow rioters to gather in a group larger the ten, then so can Churches, Concerts Sports, Restaurants, and Airplanes etc.

Enough of the 10%, 25%, 50% capacity limit bullschiff.

      ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Open up America EVERYWHERE. CV-19 is a dead issue now that the fear of it from the MSM (D) has been milked for all it is worth and they have moved on to this.

  7. Boarwild - June 1, 2020

Anybody watch the History Channel 3 part miniseries on U.S. Grant? Not bad – left a few things to be desired – but I’d give it C+. One thing though; when they were talking about post-war Reconstruction Grant was really behind helping the blacks out & getting them assimilated into society as Freedmen. Getting, them, registered to vote, etc. Unfortunately Grant was hindered by corruption tied to his admin. He wasn’t the corrupt one but the people he had around him. Being too trusting was apparently his Achilles Heel, & the scandals cost him the House. When the Democrats took over all the progress they’d made with the blacks in the South immediately stopped. The Dems killed it & actively worked to undue it with Jim Crow Laws, poll taxes, & the KKK.

That’s all the Dems ever do: destroy, divide, & sow discontentment.

  8. D3F1ANT - June 1, 2020

I do have faith in The Donald. I just hope he actually follows through. The more time he gives Leftist “leaders” to act…the more damage is done. These governors and mayors have had plenty of time and simply will not act. Heck…the AG of Minnesota is posting photos of himself with an Antifa handbook! A couple more days of this and what will be left to save?

  9. Jimmy MacAfee - June 1, 2020

I can’t decide if “The Joker” or “The Island” is more representative of these times.

    1. Jimmy MacAfee - June 2, 2020

The “Island” is representative of China, and the false narrative of a pandemic, and people are created and used for organ.”donation.” “The Joker” is self-explanatory.

I’m buying my first gun on Wednesday. Nobody – and I mean NOBODY – will take my freedom of movement from me without a fight. Nobody will abridge my liberty without paying a very dear price. If these human scum are looking for a fight, they will get one from me.

    1. Jimmy MacAfee - June 2, 2020

Some advice: get some training – a firearms safety class. And then practice. And be sure to have a gun safe of some kind, so that the firearms themselves can’t be stolen and children can’t get into trouble. You should learn to unlock the safe blindfolded (or with your eyes closed (I’ve done tha.)

Also might want to get an alarm, so that if you’re broken into, you have a heads-up. Many municipalities have companies with alarms – fire and carbon monoxide alarms too – tied to First Responders. Some have panic alarms, which will bring the PD if you happen to be out in your vehicle and come home to problems. (Too easy to physically and unintentionally trigger, IMO, and in my experience.)

    2. Jonesy - June 2, 2020

Congratulations on deciding to participate exercising your 2A. A big step.

I agree with Jimmy’s recommendations. Especially on the training and practice. I could go buy a surf board, but that wouldn’t make me a surfer. Train and practice with it, and know the laws for your state. You’ve expressed very strong feelings for your liberty, unfortunately the legal system doesn’t safeguard self defense the way it should. Using your firearm to defend yourself is almost guaranteed to get you exposure to the judicial system.

And when this trouble passes (hopefully soon), keep training and practicing. When not under the worry of threat, training can be challenging and fun.

      Stay safe

    3. brian - June 2, 2020

Things to consider for home defense.

With ALL firearms, knowing how to use them safely IS paramount. Which means practice. A safety course should be taken but kinda late in the game for that. Go to a gun range and there will be people there that will help you thru or ask at the gun shop. Locking up your guns is important so either a safe or other method to secure them. And as Jimmy stated, know how to access them quickly, very quickly.

A pump or semi-auto 12 gauge is some serious fire power and the perp will not advance on your again, ever. The nice thing about a home defense shot gun is that the pellets won’t go thru more than a couple walls. Rifles and handgun rounds, even 9 mil will go thru multiple walls and even exit a house. Keep that in mind.

A rifle like an AR platform. Easily deploy-able and easy to keep on target. Very good for women to use. Perps hit will try to get out of there and often die some distance away. oh well.. But… rounds from a rifle will pass thru many walls and even exit a house. So you could injure inadvertently others.

Handguns… 9 mil is best because of the more limited recoil. Semi autos have less recoil that revolvers and more rounds can be put in a semi auto. Practice magazine changes. Again rounds can leave the house. Larger calibres have more stopping power but have more recoil, need more practice staying on target, heavier and punch big holes.

Its a good thing to take your and your families protection into hand because the police never are there to stop a criminal. They come to write a report and bring body bags. Only YOU can rely on your protection. Its a war.

Think I’ve more that used up my word allotment for today… 🙂
