May 8, 2020 – General Discussion

So much to talk about today. Shelley Luther. Mike Flynn. Sidney Powell. James Comey. John Brennan. Sally Yates. Peter Strzok. Andrew McCabe. Barack Hussein Obama His Own Self. And Trump. Always Trump.

But before you go, take a look at this:

This is not counterfeit money – it’s a bumper sticker. One that comes recommended by poster Gregg Updike, who came up with the concept. You can get ’em for $2 apiece from the Front Street Sign Company, which has the proof. The Website is

Buy ’em for all your friends, family, and especially your TDS-infected worst liberal enemies.

    Wanna see a disappearing trick?
How about when the panic in DC begins.

Schiffless is going to be running back and forth like a caged collie; Princess Pelosi’s teeth are going to finally flee for the last time and Nadless is going to shirt himself to eternity.

Mark Warner, the cartoon character from the Simpsons, had better be looking for cover, too: he’s deeply involved in all this it would appear (from his many statements on Russiagate.)

And all those people who continue to insist upon General Flynn’s guilt haven’t learned a thing from the Covington case – the OTHER Covington case. Where CNN was successfully sued, and others are still being sued? Nicholas Sandmann is a great young man.

General Flynn could sue ALL of those who continue to libel him. Rats in peril don’t see the trap.

Look for a purge in the Communist Party in ch-ch-ch-China. The morons have made their brand unsaleable and unsalvageable, and no one in the country trusts them anymore except those with the lowest IQs. Like Venezuela. (Except the Chinese have a history of purges, and Venezuela does not)

    Wake up, analysts.

Today, May 8, 1945 is 75th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day (VE Day).

The real tragedy of that war – the last one where we actually ‘won’ but still ultimately lost to tyranny – is that we replaced Hitler and Tojo with Stalin and Mao.

One set of despots replaced by another set, who actually had more power (because we supplied the USSR with much equipment and technology – including the AB) and actually could, and in many cases would be effective allies in the immediate post war years and make Asia a communist fortress hell-bent on world domination. Hitler and Tojo has no such ability to mutually assist each other.

The Potsdam, and Yalta Conferences and the creation of the United Nations where destined to cost America and the West dearly in the next 75 years.

Gregg, such is history and how the world spins. It is interesting to note though, that was the last clear cut war against good and evil. State actors, clear ambitions and goals, and we were a force for good through all of it. I’m sure back in those days, it might not have been as clear, but it is a stark contrast to all the conflicts that have come after.

I guess hell is beginning to freeze over when Ginsburg agrees with Thomas (9-0) in a case where the SC overrules the 9th circus court (that still has plenty of leftist libs on it).

Washington Times: Unanimous Supreme Court rebukes 9th Circuit on immigration law.

On Whatfinger – couldn’t find the lint to post here

Things are about to get dicey in my neck of the woods:

Folks are already stressed enough due to the lockdown, and the media will run with this as far as they can since it fits the template.

    1. Jimmy MacAfee - May 8, 2020

President Trump has shared his condolences with the family. I hope they’ll be invited to the Whitehouse.

    2. Jonesy - May 8, 2020

Very unfortunate. Another example of: report the guy to the police and let them sort it out. Chasing someone down and confronting them does not lawfully create the stand your ground defense when they become violent. These guys had no business going after that guy.

      1. Jimmy MacAfee - May 8, 2020

Effing idiots. They’ll get whatever they’ve earned.

        1. phineas gage - May 8, 2020

Not defending them in the least, but the victim had a violent criminal history that you won’t hear about in the medal. He’ll be portrayed as a straight-A scholar, Trayvon and Fergus on all over again.

The media is eager to punish Kemp and bring him down, so expect massive mobilization. Perhaps we can anticipate a visit from Al Sharpton.

  7. phineas gage - May 8, 2020

Members of the media was entirely complicit in these lies as well. They should be prosecuted. The first amendment doesn’t shield behavior like this.

    1. Jimmy MacAfee - May 8, 2020

Flynn will have a lot of people who can be made party to his lawsuits.

      Lots of people.

Happy morn’n all… Great news for us here today. Here in BC we get to practice communist Russian socialism for another two weeks… As recommended by Little Turd-doh.

People here are complaining, as usual, but nobody wants to do anything about it. NO demonstrations, absolute crickets from the ‘official opposition’ politicals and businesses shuttering their doors for good.

WHY?? because the CCP virus killed, supposedly, 114 people in a population of 5 million here in BC. The Interior valley where I live, Okanagan, 2 people died out of a population of a million. Forget about the 40+ people who died of drug over dose in that time, we need to keep people safe from the CCP virus.

    1. Silas - May 8, 2020

I feel your pain. Here in Oregon the gradual lifting of lock down starts on May 15. To hear our local media sources it’s already lifted and the state of emergency is still in effect until July 6.

      1. Silas - May 8, 2020

Ooook This MB gets weird sometimes. My avatar and email addy changed on that last post.

  10. Silas - May 8, 2020

I want to know why the 24/7 panicdemic coverage has largely been US, Europe and Asia, a smattering on the Middle East, Mexico and Africa but pretty much crickets regarding Central and South America.

    1. brian - May 8, 2020

Its very possible that very little news out of Africa of the CCP is twofold. Biden counting.

      1. It doesn’t fit the narrative where in the ‘west’ the CCP virus is raaaaacist.

      2. It could be because Ivermectin is a common antimalarial drug easily obtained and has widespread usage. It blocks the CCP virus so no rampant infections.

      3. Or like in N Korea infections were reduced to zero every 15 – 30 minutes.

    2. phineas gage - May 8, 2020

No one knows for sure, but several possibilities exist, including less dense and/or mobile populations, younger populations with less sedentary lifestyles and better immune strength, prior exposure to malaria and use of quinine drugs, warmer climates, etc.

It is also worth pointing out that even in affected countries it is mostly concentrated in certain areas, such as NYC in this country. Most areas of this country are hardly affected at all.

  11. Silas - May 8, 2020

And on another front, workers don’t want to return to due to making more on unemployment insurance than working. No DUH! Personally, I want to go back to work. I love my wife and she’s been pretty good about not honey doing me to death, but I miss my away time sometimes.

    1. phineas gage - May 8, 2020

Yes, but Democrats know full well that there are many many people not like you who will gladly sit at home and collect a government check.

    2. phineas gage - May 8, 2020

They’ve got millions of people out of work and passively watching television and playing video games for 16 hours a day. Now if they just wave some enticing carrots in front of them they will have a captive voter bloc and will sweep to pemanent power.

Despite the euphoria of the last day, don’t forget that. Odds are increasing that will be the outcome the longer they keep the country shut down.

      1. Silas - May 8, 2020

The gravy train will come to screeching halt as soon as their employer calls the state and tells them you are not returning their call to return to work. Here in Oregon you have to certify you are on a temporary lay off and will return to work upon receiving notification to return to work from your employer.

And if they let you go for not returning to work the train ain’t gonna run under that case as well.

      2. Silas - May 8, 2020

And speaking of call back, I just got done talking to a coworker and I have to go in next
Tuesday morning. I am a slot tech at the casino in Lincoln City. Sounds like we will be installing plastic shields between the machines. Hopefully they buy acrylic and not cheap plexi. Plexi breaks real easy and it would not be good if a drunk decided to punch one. And yes the drunks do hit the games. I have had to change the glass touch screens on the control panel where the virtual buttons are displayed.

Sorry, tried to post an embedded video, forgot that doesn’t work.

I think (hope) that this will post. It is some common sense from Elon Musk:

    1. Silas - May 8, 2020

Elon Musk? Common sense? X Æ A-12 Musk – that’s the name he and his wife gave their newborn son. Not sure if I trust him having common sense. Kids can be cruel and having been named Silas, junior high was he ll. I have a pretty thick skin and am slow to rile thanks to that name. But X Æ A-12 Musk? That is gonna be real tough on that poor little guy.

      1. Jimmy MacAfee - May 8, 2020

Kids in his school will doubtless call him Skunk Musk or Snake Musk (oily musk snakes let out when alarmed is one of the stinkiest scents I’ve ever smelled, and it’s dang hard to get off the hands!)

Poor kid. Poor very rich kid. Ummm. He’ll figure it out.

  14. Boarwild - May 8, 2020

Predictions on the Flynn fallout? Who gets indicted? Saw a bold prediction from he thinks HRC will face indictment.

Am heartened by Barr’s interview with Katherine Herridge. As Don Surber says “no excitement without indictment” but it does feel now justice is heading in the right direction.

Grenell’s machinations are icing on the cake ;<)

    1. Silas - May 8, 2020

She may end up the sacrificial lamb in order to keep Obama from getting indicted and starting the second civil war. On the other hand, if Obama is indictable, HRC might flip in order to burn Obama. The Clintons and the Obamas have no love for one another.

I would settle for Obama being stripped of his title as former president, and have him pay some serious penalties, like every dam dime he has. Then have to go on Fox (heheheh he hates Fox) and do a prime time apology to the nation for the last three and a half years.

      1. Silas - May 8, 2020

Oh yeah, strip him of his passport the minute they decide to indict to keep him from skipping the country. If he suddenly decides to go on vacation in some exotic out of the way place that doesn’t have an extradition treaty with us, we’ll know he ain’t coming back.

        1. Gregg - May 8, 2020

And that would be just as well. We don’t need a year long circus trial in the District of Corruption with the created and paid for riots in every city only to have him acquitted on all counts by the 95% Dem jury. Just strip him and his ‘wife’ of all his assets under RICO and be done with him. Make sure you don’t give Walking Eagle or any Clintonites complete immunity and prosecute them all – even if only some are found guilty, at least many will be bankrupted via a ‘justice’ system that made Flynn go broke.

We can then go after his network of (reportedly) thirty thousand or so “community agitators”, SJWs, perverts, malcontents and other assorted misanthropes. Either way he loses and we win!

          1. Silas - May 8, 2020

If, and it’s a big if, they decided to indict and prosecute the first thing I would do as the prosecution is file for a change of venue.
Just point out that the DC District is to immersed in politics that nobody in that town would be objective.
